Ghost Towns
Abandoned gold mine open for tours, with restored buildings housing retro signs, photos & relics.
What a cool experience for our4 kids and ourselves. The owners are very polite and straight to the point. We respected them and their property / belongings and had no problem. They only charge $2 per person and they could ask for more, we refused our change to give back to them. . Cute little gift shop and cold beverages. We were informed to not touch the cactus and saw pics / stories of what happens when you do. Overall I recommend taking the drive out there and visiting this beautiful location. Drive down the road past them for a beautiful scenic route.

An absolute must! This tour felt like an attraction at Disneyland. The mine is so well looked after and the team on site is very interesting and knowledgeable. A great family trip and of course, beautiful property with lots of chances to take awesome pictures. We will definitely go again!
Tresca Rightsell — Google review
You really need to visit thie place. The price is 1$ adult/hour. The owners are very friendly and funny and they will tell you about the history of the place. They also have an album with the celebrities that visited/filmed in that place.
You can also go to the Colorado River because it s only 5 miles away and take a bath because the water is warm.
P.S. They have snakes in the freezer.

The pictures don't do it justice! The mine tour was top notch by our guide Wade/Tony. Great conversation, the grounds are filled with old cars and buildings. For $20 we spent about 4 hours!

We got married in October of 21. This was the perfect setting for our wedding. The owner was very personable, shared the history of the little town and even cracked a few jokes. He was very accommodating and I would highly recommend this venue.💛

Love this place! Its own by people who are kind and doing what they can to preserve an amazing part of our past.
Gorgeous vehicles and buildings. So many amazing things to see, don't miss it!!
Had such a fantastic place to wander around In.

Pretty neat place to visit. There were lots of interesting antiques. Our kids are a fan and asked lots of good questions about the history of the place.
You have to check in at the front before walking around the area.
P.s if you drive about 5 miles further, you get to see part of the Colorado review.
Ednalyna Martin — Google review
What can I say. The owners have gone above and beyond to make history come to life! From the crashed airplanes to the custom automobiles, they have a plethora of mining equipment. They have found several skulls and even an alien or two. Be sure to open the freezer for a real surprise☆
The tour only operates with 4 adults for $15 each. You can look around all you want for only $1 . Well worth it.
They allow you to peek in on their guest rooms, but be cautious when you do, as they may have company.
Ask a million questions and get a million and one answers. Recommend 98.9%

What a wonderful glimpse back in time. The collection of memorabilia is encredible. Make the trip, you won't regret it. Fill your tank up and bring water, it's hot.

Wild West Goldmine Town preserved! Awesome desert ride too. (only about 45min from the Flamingo)
This town dates back to the 1700's, amazing! Now it's a ghost town...
Lots a cool relics just sitting in there place. Some are used in movie shots too.
We were pleasantly surprised at how a "City of Gold" would look way back when the Spaniards first settled here.
You can browse the property for a couple dollar fee on your own or take a tour and go deep into the history here and/or even go down into the old mind tunnels... up to you.

This picturesque ghost town is truly unique, unlike any other. The entire experience is so surreal and captivating, it's almost indescribable. There's an abundance of sights to behold and activities to enjoy, making it the perfect excursion for a free afternoon while in Las Vegas. While we didn't encounter any ghosts during our visit, one can't help but imagine the countless opportunities for such encounters. The drive to get here is absolutely worthwhile; it's an experience not to be missed. Plus, there are plenty of photo opportunities just waiting to be captured.

Nelson's Ghost Town is such a great little tourist spot! Friendly residents and a rich history. Next time I will come earlier for the tour.
I really had such a great time! I went as a kid but didn't remember much from that first visit. I only had time to take some pictures before sunset but I will definitely be back for the full experience!
P.s. If you pay for the photographer rate you may get access to CERTAIN restricted areas. ($10/hr)

A wonderful day trip from Vegas. The front desk & gift shop are real Awesome folks that get straight to the point. No taken advantage of tourist here. Real down to earth. Very walkable & you can bring your dog too. Good Mexican food available in a food truck, really convenient. Everyone should try this place. Truly Amazing🤩

Had a blast exploring Nelson with my hubby. It is a nice little stop off the beaten path. It cost us a dollar each to explore and take some photos. I wasn't to sure all that was out there so I wasn't fully prepared for all the amazing photo opportunities. There is something for everyone. It has a great rustic feel. Who doesn't love old cars and cacti. I cannot wait to go back and get more amazing photos and do the mine tour. I highly recommend this stop.
fidele morte — Google review
Very cool place to visit. Not necessarily a ghost town, but had a lot of old school vehicles and buildings, and things of that sort.
There was also options for doing gold mine tour and museum.
Only ask for $1, if you plan to stay more than 15 min. We just donated some money because they were very kind and it's cool to have these things around in the long run.
Ms Carey — Google review
Incredible experience!! Small fee for photographers but it was absolutely reasonable per hour. We were even able to tour some “hidden”/closed off to the public spots! We sped through and we were able to hit most spots before the hour was up. Definitely a little toasty, even in April so bring plenty of water (and deodorant lol).

After reading the negative reviews I’m wondering what’s wrong with people?!
This place is absolutely amazing and well put together ghost town.
When you arrive you will see clear signs what you have to do and maybe a bit straightforward BUT it is for a reason.
I was walking towards the shop to check in when a guy comes out asking what do you want? 😂 I was like checkin as the sign says. He said it’s $1 per person to take photos with your phone or $10 for professional cameras.
We paid $10 for 3 of us. Which is super cheap.
He told us where to go, when he closes etc and we went around quickly as we had 1 hour only before it closes. You need more time than 1 hour however we managed and we had so much fun.
Before we left we got some drinks and talked to the owner who was super helpful and friendly. He recommended to watch the sunset from the river down the road. We went there and it was absolutely breathtaking.
Can not recommend this place enough. Must visit if you are in Las Vegas.
Monika Varga — Google review
Really fun place to visit outside of Las Vegas. It's basically free unless you want to stay for a long time or book for an event. Some people have their weddings there.
Christopher Lee Thomas — Google review
Been here in 2011 and returned in 2024. A lot has changed, the hidden gem is a way more touristic these days but still a must see when around Las Vegas. It definitely gives you a sense of desert americana. Oh and Bruce is a real gentleman welcoming you.
Victor Castro — Google review
We stumbled upon this place on our first day in Vegas. It’s about 45 out from town, but well worth the visit. The owners are super nice and full of great information.
It’s practically free as the owners charge $1 per person and there is so much to see. You can also purchase snacks and beverages.
Once you’re done exploring, don’t be afraid to venture onward to the Colorado River overlook. It’s about 5 miles down and a hidden gem!!!
Johnny Gomez — Google review
Must see place when in Vegas, its a bit of a drive but well worth it. The area can be explored on your own risk, just make sure to check in at the store first and read the big signs. it's close after dark (5pm). Like the sign says its not Disneyland, keep your dog and kids on a leash the native cactus can be painful and there are plenty of sharp rusted parts but that's the nature of a cool ghost town.
David Hauser — Google review
A true hidden gem hidden in the Eldorado Valley. Lot's to see even on the cheap self tour. Super friendly folks and an easy walk around. Good half day trip out of Vegas to get away from the crowds. Didn't have time for the mine tour which runs around 90 mins. Plan on around three or four hours to take it all in! Will definitely be back!
Jamie Tuson — Google review
I recommend stopping by on your way from Vegas. the ghost town is located in a picturesque location. the views are impressive. I think, it's definitely worth a visit. but it seemed to me, that there was nothing special to see there. admission costs $1 and can be considered free. and the woman, who works in the store, is very nice and friendly!
Kristina M — Google review
Town of Nelson still has residents, not sure if it's really a ghost town. The Techatticup mine reconstruction is not true to the area, all items have been collected by the owners and staged. This does not mean it's not a great place to visit. Great old vehicles and buildings collected across the southwest, so there is great history behind all the collection there. Great photo ops but they have started charging.
The oldest, richest & most famous former gold mine in Southern Nevada, open for guided tours.
One of my favorite tours I’ve ever been on. Extremely nice folks. Really enjoyed chatting with the owners about the history of the place. The vehicles sitting around the property are just as interesting as the whole tour. Highly recommend making the drive to visit this place. Shawna, our tour guide, was awesome and made the whole experience just that much more fun! And don’t forget to tip your guide!

Embarked on an adrenaline-fueled escapade with Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours, every twist and turn on their ATVs was a pulse-pounding adventure. They had options for both novice and experienced riders. Their staff was both friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring both safety and excitement as we navigated through the canyon. Highly recommend you bring a camera! An amazing collection of antique cars and rustic environments.
Eddy Frisk — Google review
This place was really awesome! Everything from the tour through the mine to the antique cars, buildings, movie props, etc was really interesting to experience. Great photo opportunities. I'm sure I will be visiting again.
Michelle Kissman-Taber — Google review
Omgosh so quiet and vintage...perfect place for a photo opp! It's like taking a step back into time and appreciating the past. The locals are welcoming at the general store and have some interesting stories to tell about the old mining site. They offer tours for groups of 4 at about $15 per person...but you will get a little history lesson and a walk through the old mine. They do Weddings in the old chapel and they've been visited by many celebrities. Plus a few movies were filmed at this location.
Bonus...they rent kayaks and canoes, for the Colorado River is just down the road. So if you're looking for a different kind of adventure this is the place to be...my only suggestion is DO NOT go when the whether is bad/raining because when you are ready to leave there may not be a road to cross on the way back. The locals saved us today...so we weren't trapped too long by the unexpected mud river crossing.
Corinne — Google review
When I revisit my old place, I have a different feeling every time I come here. Started in 1861, the former gold mining town was bustling with activity, and over time, it gradually became a historical museum. P. S. Don't go here at night because this was once a murder scene where dozens of lives were lost. (A warning sign on the house)

Wonderful tour with Shawna on Monday! We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the property, from the tour to the exploring and photos to chatting with the owners about the history of the place. Absolutely loved it!

Such a fun tour! Went in September and again in october when some friends came from out of town. Every guide has their own way of running the tour and I love that. Would definitely go back with another group of friends, everyone is so friendly!

If you're looking for what to do in Las Vegas if "Vegas" isn't really your scene, get a car and head out to "the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada."
The mine has played host to several famous films including 3000 Miles to Graceland!
Bring good walking shoes and plenty of water and prepare to be charmed by this quaint location 🙂

This was one of the best tours we have done. This was our first time in the mining tour, but we really enjoyed the mine and the beautiful cars and houses around that area. Great place for pictures. The mom and daughter were awesome! They were too funny when we got there. Great place to visit while in Vegas or nearby.

The Eldorado Canyon Mine Tour offers a fascinating journey into the rich history of Colorado's mining heritage. Located in the stunning Eldorado Canyon State Park, this tour takes you deep into the heart of a once-thriving gold and silver mine. You'll explore tunnels, see antique mining equipment, and learn about the hardships and triumphs of the miners who shaped the region's history. It's a captivating and educational experience, set against the backdrop of the canyon's natural beauty. A must-visit for history buffs and nature lovers alike.

The people here are so nice! We didn't take a mine tour, but we did take photos around their property. The staff was so kind and helpful. There are so many focal points on their property. We came to take wedding photos in/around their chapel. It is so beautiful and simplistic and was the perfect backdrop to show off our love and faith. We ended up taking photos by many other cool things. And this location has the mountains, cactus, and more! We are obsessed with our pictures! Thank you for letting us visit!

Such a cool place! Very friendly staff. Unique shop that I couldn't stop walking around. Our tour guide was friendly and funny. He told us a lot about the mining that used to take place in the State. Definitely worth the drive out there.

We really enjoyed our mine tour with Bruce. He was very informative and inclusive. The tour starts in the main office with some history of Nelson and the mine. Then they show a movie trailer. Afterward, you walk to the mine. It was well worth the price. My kids were blown away about being in the mine and how much cooler it was. They enjoyed spotting the quartze veins. Bruce thank you for the amazing tour you kept us smiling and laughing the whole tour. Highly recommend. Also it was very easy to reserve a tour just had to call give name number and how many adults and children. For our family of 5 to go it was 60 dollars and the tour lasted approximately 75 minutes and we got to enjoy exploring and taking photos in the area.
fidele morte — Google review
Fun trip with the kids! The tour was both informative and interesting for my 8-13 year old kids. We were lucky to be in a smaller group, so my kids got a lot of attention. We explored all the fun things at the museum like place, the family that lives there was so fun and accommodating. We then took a 5 min drive to the river. There, we did a fun hike to see the gorgeous landscape and a picnic by the river. It was beautiful!
The Lion Habitat Ranch is a family-owned and operated wildlife sanctuary that features lions, giraffes, ostriches, emus, and exotic birds. It's located minutes from the Strip in Henderson, Nevada.
Great place to see lions near close. Keepers are very friendly and kind to explain details of lion's behaviors and characteristics. Also they have a giraffe that you can see closely and draw the painting on the t-shirt. And a parrot show is held right after. The whole place is small and you won't be taking over 2 hours to see it all even walking slowly. Oh and they have Emu too. It would be much more convenient if you visit their website first to check times and waivers before visit.

Great Place for the kids!!.. Nice experience to get away from the norm for awhile. Explore through Lions and Tigers, Ostriches, Exotic Birds... Etc... And end the tour off meeting Ozzie the Giraffe... While visiting Ozzie, You're able to feed him or watch him paint a picture. That was one of the best experiences for my daughter, I'm sure she'll cherish this moment...🙂🙃🙂 And trust and believe... As a Dad, I'm glad I gave it to her!!.

This is a small ranch not far from the Las Vegas strip. It is where the lions from the MGM Grand hotel have retired. It's a wonderful sight to see these creatures lounging and enjoying their retirement. (I'm so jealous!) You can feed them for a fee. If the cost is too steep, feeding Ozzie the giraffe, or the emus is a cheaper option. Ozzie also "paints". (Much hyped and overrated.) There are also ostriches, macaws, and cockatoos and they provide many picture taking opportunities. There is an admission price but seniors get a discount 👵🏾. It's a great opportunity to see lions up close so take your kids. Take Grandma too. The park is not overwhelmingly large and you can go at your own, slow pace. I think there are a total of nine of them. There ranch makes for a very nice low-key outing.
C Randolph — Google review
Very small but cool to see. 18 lions, a giraffe, 2 tortoises, some parrots, and ostriches. The giraffe paints and you can learn about him as he paints. It’s nice a child ticket is cheaper. Adult prices are still more expensive than they should be for how quickly you can see everything- in less than 25 minutes.
Katelynn Pugmire — Google review
This was a great place. Perfect for families and nice to get off strip for a bit. The lion habitats have great views and you are right there by these amazing cats. OZZIE the painting giraffe is pretty cool and puts on a great show. You can feed the giraffe or lions for an extra fee. We will defiantly be back again.

The lion habitat ranch is an amazing facility! Very interactive and super nice and educational staff. Feeding the giraffe is a super cool experience and everyone should do it! I even bought one of his paintings then got to take a picture with him with the painting! Will definitely go again and again!!

We visited the lion habitat ranch in November 2023. It was amazing, from general admission to hand feeding the lion, every penny is worth it. We did the shared lion feeding, and no you are not in the cage giving it meat, it's completely safe. At the beginning they announce your feeding so others may watch, you can take photos while feeding. After they pose the lion in its trained position, one waves the others stand on hind legs, for a special photo opportunity. It really was an amazing facility, the animals were well kept, and the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.
Jimmy Gattis — Google review
The Lion Habitat Ranch is awesome! It is a very interactive facility that lets you get super close to the animals and watch them interact and be fed. It was fun for the whole family and a great experience to see the beautiful animals. The staff was super friendly and continuously educating the audience about the animals at the ranch. I highly recommend stopping by the ranch for a unique experience!
Noah Mathew — Google review
Amazing and very educational experience. Most of the lions are former MGM lions but some were born at the facility. There are a total of 27 lions at the ranch as of today. All are beautiful and majestic but Geno is my favorite. Facility has two each Emus, Ostrich and Tortoises and one 16' Giraffe, Ozzie who also paints. You can pick up souvenirs at the gift shop, including Ozzie's artwork on canvas and shirts. Stuffed animals and other gifts available. Best part is seeing these majestic animals and their relationships with the staff - there is respect for each other on both sides and the habitat provides exceptional care for these beautiful animals.
Lynn Murphy — Google review
We took our toddlers there and it was a great experience being able to be so close to these exotic animals. Each child fed Ozzie the giraffe and they were so excited. It was only $10 extra to feed him and I believe the entrance was $18 for locals and it included one child!

I had an absolutely amazing time at the Lion Habitat Ranch! The experience of feeding Ozzie the giraffe was truly unforgettable. Being able to get up close and personal with such a majestic creature was a dream come true. He also paints! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure the encounter was both safe and informative.
Feeding a lion was another highlight of the visit. The thrill of being able to watch these powerful predators up close was exhilarating. The trainers ensured a secure environment, and their passion for the animals was evident in the way they interacted with them.
Overall, the Lion Habitat Ranch provided a unique and unforgettable experience that allowed me to connect with these incredible animals in a responsible and educational manner. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an extraordinary wildlife encounter.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could!
I had the best time with Ozzie painting experience such a wonderful interaction and you can tell he thoroughly enjoys it!!
The lions were amazing! My favorites were Winston and Rocky!!!
I have to say this place was spotless, impeccable! Every cage was very clean- even the birds cage!!! All toys, water troughs, cooling boxes Super clean and in good condition. Even zoos cant manage this standard!
All the staff were super friendly and informative.
All the animals were wonderful, and although there is fencing and a railing you get close. Every animal is so happy and well taken care of !!
This is a must see , for locals and tourists alike!

This local Lion Habitat in Henderson offers visitors a unique and up close experience of lions and other animals in their enclosures.
This non-profit facility houses over 20 lions amongst other animals and is operated primarily on donations. It’s been at its present location since 1989 and officially opened its doors to the public a few years later.
Seeing lions in this environment is simply amazing and speaks volumes of the work staff and volunteers do on a regular basis to ensure the animals receive the appropriate care and needed attention.
This is a great educational opportunity for children as well as adults on the importance of these types of facilities to society and to the preservation of wild life.

Great time for all! The staff is very knowledgeable about the animals and all were extremely nice and seemed to enjoy being at the habitat. Very clean and easy for anyone with limitations such as needing a wheelchair or scooter. If you haven't been you need to go! The money you spend goes right back to the animals, and it shows!

Excellent place to take the kids.
I've never experienced in any zoo the sight of lions so close. There's one spot where you can sit down in front of the glass and almost have the lion "take a selfie with you"...
They also have a giraffe there and you can feed it yourself. (for an extra little fee, but the kids would love it!)
There are some big toucans and talking ones.
A few other animal enclosures.
The staff was very informative and friendly.

What a fun little place for the family!! Beautiful animals and kind volunteers. Very interactive, got to see them feed the lions, give them new toys, Ozzie the giraffe painted and my kids got to feed him. We will definitely visit again!

What an amazing experience. My family booked feedings with Cheeto the lion and Ozzie the giraffe. Absolutely worth it and a must. This organization is incredible and the staff are so wonderful and care for the animals with a lot of love. Visiting here is a must!!!!

This little gem is a MUST do whether you are a local or visiting. Locals do get a discount for entry, which was only $20!
There are several activities like feeding one of the Lions you can purchase for a small added on fee.
The facility is super clean as well. You would never think that so many lions are housed here. There are also some gorgeous birds as well as ostriches to view. Now, for the most exciting part is have you ever seen a giraffe paint before? If not, than you must go visit Ozzie and watch him do some magnificent painting! You can also purchase tickets to feed Ozzie as well!
Locals they are always looking for volunteers as well! So, if you love animals, why not share that love and become a volunteer!
The staff of super knowledgeable about all of the animals and are very friendly!

Went as a chaperone for my son’s field trip and it was amazing! The handlers are very helpful and knowledgeable on all their animals. The animal interaction was educational for the kids and the parents. I had not heard prior to the field trip that this place existed but I’m happy it does. We had to each pay $20 to get in. Parking is decent for the size of the field.

Love this place. Love feeding the giraffe. Love hearing the terrifying sound of the lions roaring. You can get so close and see these beautiful animals. Also all the different birds and the tortois. Doesn't take a long time and you can do a few laps and see a lot of different things happening and trainers interacting. Lots and lots of lions to look at.
Amanda Banuelos — Google review
Great alternative adventure to the hustle and bustle of the strip. Not well publicized so I'm glad I found it. Learned a great deal about the history of the MGM lions and these lions in particular. Many of the lions are veterans of the MGM Lion Habitat before it ended. The individuals 'on duty' at the MGM were rotated from about 20 in the group. Crate trained, they were moved to the hotel for their 'shift' and, if one wasn't in the mood to 'work', someone else who was more eager got the call.
The animals here are Barbary (now extinct in the wild) from the MGM and South African lions from other rescue/exotic parks that closed. The oldest girl, Chilly, will be 20 this year, almost twice what her life expectancy in the wild would be.
Along with the lions, there are 'rescues' of other species living here including tortoise, ostrich, emus and cage birds that people dropped off. (Never get an exotic bird if you aren't prepared for the long haul investment...it ain't a parakeet that dies at 2).
The ornery artist, Ozzie, is a highlight. He had to be moved because his dad at the facility he was born at wasn't okay with another guy around, even his son. He does some great artwork and is fun to get up close and personal with to feed. Easy going and gentle but also a teenager who likes to remind his keepers some time.
Be sure to take your time so you don't miss Harry and George's keeper demonstrating examination through a little meatball enrichment. Spend a little and feed or paint with Ozzie. Spend a lot and feed a lion. And don't miss posing with Shifty as he sits on the land rover right behind your head.
The staff here is amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and interactive with all the guests. You can tell they love their charges.
This is a hidden gem, not to be missed

What an absolutely incredible experience! Living right across the street from these majestic creatures, we can't believe it took us this long to visit. It's evident that all the lions and other animals are well cared for and loved by the staff. My husband and I had the pleasure of feeding Benny the lion and Ozzie the giraffe. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, inviting, and extremely knowledgeable about the animals, eagerly answering all our questions. Two stand-out stars at the habitat were Emma and Meagan. Emma guided my husband through feeding Benny with kindness and expertise, while Meagan shared fascinating insights into the lions' histories and the staff's dedication to their care. The entire staff is more than qualified to look after these animals. We also had a wonderful encounter with a volunteer, a Caucasian male with a white mustache, who was exceptionally kind and friendly, even taking our picture with Swifty. We're already planning to return on December 18th for my birthday, as we noticed that two of the cats share the same birthday as me! Also, happy 10th birthday Ozzie!
The M Resort Spa Casino boasts beautiful panoramic views of both the Vegas Strip and surrounding mountain region, as well as a comprehensive spa and wellness center. With top-notch accommodations, professional staff, and an expansive casino, guests will have everything they need to enjoy their stay.
One of the nicest places off the strip! Good food selections even late at night whether you want fast or sit down they have it. It isn’t huge walking from one end to the other like most Vegas casinos. Nice layout with very clean rooms great tub and separate shower areas with great lighting within the rooms. The hotel offers quick complimentary valet or self parking along with shuttle service to the airport or raider games. We enjoyed a day at the 5 star spa. Spectacular experience and well with the pricing.

I've dropped in a couple of times now. So far, I've had a pretty good experience. Great for locals or visitors alike to get away from the crazy of the Strip. Clean Hotel Casino. I haven't eaten there yet but maybe that can be saved for another time. More for a mature yet fun experience.
If there is a good place to eat there, someone please let me know. I'd love to review it.

We have stayed here a few times. The rooms are very nice. Pretty spacious. The bathtub and shower are separate. The bathtub faces the window. It does have a privacy shade plus tv. Shower is separate. They are located off the strip. You could take a taxi downtown if you were to go. Large casino floor. I have seen the pool. Looks nice as well. Overall a nice experience.

The M is a great locals casino with a good rewards program. The pool is also one of their best assets. However, the level of service in their restaurants is very hit or miss, except for Raiders Tavern which seems to always be on point. Considering some locations within the property have never re-opened since the shutdowns, I don't see how they are considering building another tower when it seems like they struggle with staffing their current restaurant offerings and more importantly providing a great service. I hope to be proven wrong as they have a lot of good things going for them, but execution could be better.

Local get away. First time stay. Anthony's Steak House was a great meal. Great view of the strip from the 8th floor. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Great pastries. We would stay again.

My girlfriend and I live across the street so naturally we started going here when the Dottys crowd got kind of sketchy. Initially we loved it! But over the last few months there has been several times we've went and spent almost 2 hours playing and we're not approached or asked if we'd like a drink one time. Then went to every bar only to be told by someone at the last bar to go to the Raiders Tavern bar, they had to. Your cocktail waitress Carolina is by far the best employee you have on the floor interacting with customers. Her customer service is second to none. She understands the industry and is a professional. We only go in on nights she will be working and only sit in her section. At the Raiders Tavern the night bartender Sean and the blond women also working that shift are incredible. We order food to go regularly and always order and drink and catch up when they work.

OVERALL GRADE: C+/78.75%
A+/110%: Very nice. Definitely focused on the younger crowd! So A+! 🥳
A/100%: Love the music and zest! 💖
A-/90%: So many promotions but the payout could be better tuned. 😬
F/15%: This was my first time there and one of the cocktail waitresses had ignored me when I called out to her because she walked past me in snotty way. I didn't tip her the first time around because she waited awkwardly with her hand out. I tip generously but only after the initial drink. If you have my back (with drinks), I have yours (with tips). First night there and I played a good amount and spent a decent chunk of time. I only had one drink in the first 30 minutes I was there. I had to keep going to the bar. 😪

Beautiful resort and good restaurants. Loved the live music that starts before 5pm in the lobby. Great drinks. Very courteous staff, and they not stingy with water bottles. Conference food and menu was very tasty and impressive. Rooms were clean love the modern style and setup. Loved the tubs in the bathroom.

Felt like a secluded resort and spa! I loved it! I’ve stayed on the Vegas strip many times and it’s very crowded and some hotels on the strip never have enough staff. I can honestly say the M Resort is my favorite. They had plenty of staff and the food was delicious! The room was very nice! I definitely did not have any problems my entire trip and I would highly recommend!!!

Located at the very very very bottom of S. Las Vegas Blvd far from the glitz and glam of the actual strip is the M hotel. They have a lot to offer in their own right, a huge pool that hosts many concerts and events, restaurants, and plenty of Vegas gaming that you would see in a typical casino here. However, that’s really where the similarities end. It’s very low key and well brown. The decor is like seriously dated and unimpressive. The customer service is barely existent and when I have been served they are generally rude. Once I went to inquire if they had a room for the night one evening and the front desk guy was super rude and acting like I was annoying him by interrupting his convo with another employee to do his job! I have been coming here for over a year and to be honest only go back because it’s close to my house. The restaurant food is over priced as well and really not that great compared to what you can get on the actual strip. It’s more of a locals only hotel and not really for tourists looking for a good time

I enjoyed being a first time guest here!!
Amazing and very Upscale experience ,
And I will possibly be staying again in the future.
Pros that I noticed :
- Bathroom was equipped with a TV in the mirror
- Free Parking
- Free Card Gift In Room
- Free Water In Room
Some Cons that I noticed:
- When I arrived during My Check-In which was around 11am / a bit after.. I was told that no rooms were ‘available’ due to my 'early arrival'.
But I stood in line for a long time at 10am watching customers/the workers during my checkout.. And I noticed that 'every' person in line ‘was able’ to check-in early.

Stayed at the M for one night and thought it was a bit overpriced. The room is nice, but you could tell it wasn't properly cleaned. There was a red stain (dried blood???) on one of the pillow cases, and a couple of black hairs on the clean towels (not mine). When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk she couldn't care less. I love the casino and will be back to gamble, but not gonna stay at the hotel anymore.

I stayed at the M Resort Spa & Casino for a Conference and it was great!
The resort is huge, clean, and safe. Though it’s about 15 minutes away from the strip, I really enjoyed it. There are a lot of food options in the area as well.
The rooms are clean and have great views. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Vegas, definitely look at staying here!!

Use to love this place until they took out favorite slots and video poker machines that were paying fairly well. They never re-opened the awesome buffet after covid either. Tightened up comps and multipliers also.. Not worth going there anymore, took our business elsewhere. Bye!

I've been going to the M for a few years. There are some really great things and some so-so things at the M.
They have a good variety of slot machines, but I would love to see more of the old style 3 reel slot machines like Triple Star, Pinball, Top Dollar, Double Diamond and similar. You can only find a few of these in the High Limit room. It would be nice to have these in lower denomination
They have a few table games, but not many, and nothing less than $10 minimum.
They have several choices for dining, including the best Sunday brunch. Their brunch has AYCE lobster and crab legs, and they even have beef wellington,, who has that? I just wish I could afford the $100 price 😔
The bars are pretty good. The bar tenders vary greatly. There's one little guy that thinks a lot of himself and does well with some customers and not some much with other customers. There are several that are very attentive and friendly. This last Sunday, I had the best bar tender (I believe his name was Stacie) that I've come across at the M. I added his photo below. He works at different bars inside of the M, so if you see him and there's an open bar stool, grab it and enjoy his service.

The M casino is one of the finer Casinos. Five star service without having the five-star cost. We're locals and we enjoy dining at their many restaurants.
The entertainment and drinks are superb that's why we keep coming back.

Thank You M Casino

This resort is not in Las Vegas it is actually in Henderson. This is not a significant difference it is the southern most Vegas resort. The decor throughout the resort relies on horizontal lines this adds a visual of spaciousness but it is still pretty large. The landscaping is drought resistant and instead of grass they have artificial turf. Apparently they know this is a desert. They had maid service in the room while we were there that was very nice. The drawbacks. There is no in room coffee pot and when I made my reservation I requested a smoking room and at check in that was not honored. Overall we had a good time during our stay and I would recommend it.

The M's crew and service personnel were phenomenal! It was a convenient location, at the time. Traffic was less congested than other city locations that I've experienced. The luxury of the rooms felt inviting and comfortable. All the amenities being in the room, without having to call down to, or go to, the front desk, was helpful. The view from the 7th floor rocked! The whole location was so fun and entertaining, but the people made the whole trip! The best people were found, by me, at the best place, the M Resort Spa Casino! There is good soul to the place!

We have not stayed at the hotel yet but we'd love to sometime. It's hard to pay for a room when you're used to comped rooms with other hotel/casinos in the area. I'd love to give an honest review if we did stay there.
We do enjoy the casino, its big and clean with plenty of gaming options.

Recently visited the M this past week for a poolside show and was pleasantly reminded how nice this property is. The hotel is located just off the Las Vegas Strip, but it feels like a world away. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
One of my favorite things about M Resort is the pool area. The pool is huge and there are plenty of cabanas and daybeds to relax in. There's also a swim-up bar, so you can order drinks without having to get out of the water.
If you're looking for a great place to stay in Las Vegas but off the strip, I highly recommend M Resort. It's a hidden gem that's sure to exceed your expectations.

This was always an upscale casino. Airways especially clean, safe, and offered a wide variety of everything... games, dinning options, social events, sports events. All of this has remained true through my most recent visit over labor day weekend 2023 EXCEPT: it seems that the casino has really drastically gone downhill in the cleaning department. I would hope that this was an isolated incident. However, unfortunately, it is not the case. For instance, all around many of the slot games there is ashes, sticky liquid, trash, and general crud. It wasn't so much that, though. That could easily be cleaned up. It was the condition that the carpet was in, the burns on the slot chairs, the dark spots on several slot screens indicating the need for replacement. This neglect might ought to be addressed soon, before it gets too far out of control. Just my personal ideas. I'm not wanting to sound like negative Nancy, so I will sum this up with the overall rating for this casino, which I'd say is an 8.

We always dine at Anthony's great service. Great atmosphere, great food, great management. The best is the servers and the person that greets you at the front desk. There isn't any one better then these folks. Oh, by the way, the food is fabulous. You can't go wrong with any dish. Ask for a booth in the back, very romantic.

We purchased the Christmas light ticket and then all packed in the Expedition!!
We took Mom and Dad, local NV residents to it as well. 6pm light show had about 50 -70 cars in line already by 5:50pm! Thank goodness we went a few minutes early and chose the 6pm show.
Finding the right entry point was weird. We had to turn around and go in through St. Rose Parkway.
Great show! I wish the music was a bit louder! 🎵 😂 87.9 radio station to see the lights sync with music.
Enjoy!

Stayed here one night while passing through with a 12 foot moving truck. I needed a place to stay with enough open parking that taking up two parking spaces wouldn't be an issue, and it wasn't here, though be sure to check with the staff on check-in.
The room I was in was great. I wish I had more pictures to share, particularly of the bathroom which included a large shower with a bench, and a deep soaking tub that I was able to enjoy even at a height of 6'2".
The M Resort itself is a great venue with everything one could want. There is Raiders themed decor throughout as its the official Raiders hotel, which I enjoyed.
I highly recommend checking out Anthony's Prime Steak & Seafood while you're here if you get a chance.
If you're looking for an off-strip place to stay in the area, check this place out!

Last minute I needed a hotel room and I'm glad I ended up at M Resort. It was very cheap for the quality of the room. The room was very clean, and not worn down at all. The view of the desert was beautiful. The staff were very friendly. I also appreciated how quiet it was in the room.
I ended up ordering room service, which was very reasonably priced and well portioned. I got the Philly cheesesteak. It was huge, and yummy.

We didn't have a chance to stay in the resort due to an incident with our rental vehicle. It had passed the deadline for cancellation already, but we tried to call the resort and describe the situation. Surprisingly their front desk was extremely helpful and flexible with their policy, they cancelled the booking for us even on such short notice and Expedia refunded us with the amount. So, definitely five star for the understanding, flexibility and being reasonable! If I get a chance to visit Vegas next time, will choose your place again for sure !

Went to play paintball in Henderson and decided to pop in and play a little at The M. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The resort was clean and felt newly refinished. The table games were great and we ended up playing craps for over 2 hours. The dealers were awesome (shoutout to Debbie/Debra, Huyung, and Jose the pit boss). They helped me hone in my game and made the whole experience enjoyable. Honestly had more fun gaming here than anywhere on the strip. Will definitely be back in the next time I’m in town!

Had a blast at this hotel. We stayed there for the home Raider game vs the giants. To start this hotel is super clean and extravagant. The rooms are definitely the nicest in Vegas. If you are a Raiders fan this hotel will be a blast for you, there is Raider memorabilia all over the place. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the stadium and then there is a city bus route that will bring you back. All of staff members we interacted with were super nice and helpful. It is my new favorite place to stay and I definitely be recommending it to anyone who asks.
The Seven Magic Mountains is a desert art installation showcasing seven painted boulder totems that reach up to 35 feet in height, created by Ugo Rondinone. It provides a unique opportunity to witness the magnificent colored rocks, which cannot be fully appreciated through photos alone. The site includes facilities such as portable toilets and food trucks, and the parking lot is large enough to accommodate a considerable number of visitors. While the parking lot is unpaved, parking is relatively easy.
I have lived in Las Vegas for 27yrs and I've never been here. We decided to go see Seven Magic Mountains on my Birthday. Even though it's just massive painted rocks, it's really cool. You feel so small next to these rocks. The weather was pretty warm, I believe it was in the 90's month of October. There is a little stand, where you can buy drinks possibly food I'm not sure. Quite a bit of visitors, but it wasn't bad at all. Everybody was polite, waiting patiently for others to take their photos so that you could take your photos. I guess you can bring your doggies there, as I seen a few. You have to be able to see this from the Freeway as these rocks are massive. Painted bright, an overall fun place to visit. I would go back again, but just when it's cooler.

This is a great spot to stop by either on the way to Las Vegas or on the way back. The parking area is just an open area with gravel. There are tour buses stopping by, so parking for an RV and towing with a trailer is not an issue. The massive boulders are vibrantly painted which makes it a lot of fun to take photos. There are some details and information about the artists and inspiration of the artwork as you enter.

Seven Magic Mountains is a must-see for anyone visiting Las Vegas. The art installation is located just outside of the city, and it is truly unique and awe-inspiring.
The installation consists of seven towering stacks of colorful boulders, each one over 30 feet tall. The boulders are painted in bright shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green, and they create a striking contrast against the desert landscape.
Visitors can walk around and explore the installation from all angles. It is a great place to take photos and admire the artwork.
Seven Magic Mountains is a free art installation, and it is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Here are some additional tips for visiting Seven Magic Mountains:
The best time to visit is early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat.
There is no shade at the installation, so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat.
Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing some walking.
There are no restrooms at the installation, so be sure to go before you go.
Be respectful of the artwork and do not climb on the boulders.
Overall, Seven Magic Mountains is a great place to visit for people of all ages. It is a unique and awe-inspiring art installation that is well worth a visit.

Artist Ugo Rondinone, a world-renowned art star who made a splash in the NYC cityscape with Human Nature in 2013, created this Land Art installation aptly titled Seven Magic Mountains; he talks of the holistic properties in the colors and hopes viewers will notice the beauty of the desert juxtaposed by his totems. This piece of Land Art took five years to complete at the cost of $3.5million (not to worry, this was by private donation not tax dollars). On average the boulders weigh 40,000lbs each, the totems are stacked 3-6 boulders high and stand between 30-35 feet tall. Can you imagine the height?!
This was on my bucket list ✔️

It's a nice place for a quick sightseeing trip. It's completely free. All you have to do is follow the rules. Me and my family went there in the evening at dusk. Was not crowded at all. My kids love picking their favorite formation of rocks and taking pictures. They even played where am I by hiding behind the giant structures. It was a fun time!

This place is magical. Granted I came in December and enjoyed the cold over hot. There is access to explore a stretch of desert without being far from civilization. It's open desert and so many areas to take photos. The structures are vibrant colors, and stacked really high, a sight to see. The location is right before you hit Vegas or as you leave, it's approximately 20 minutes to and fro, but freeway access is conveniently located. Driving there is fun, gives the sense your driving in a lonely open desert. There is ample parking although it was packed. There is a vendor selling food, drinks, and has port a potty available. Many many tourists here. Definitely make this a stop when in Vegas, you'll have amazing photos 👋

Beautiful art installation along Las Vegas Blvd.
Free for everyone!
Super crowded but still enjoyable 😉 You have to manage how to take pictures and not having big crowds around you or wait for a window when everyone is leaving. I didn't appreciate that it was a couple with a real snake trying to get $20.00 dollar for pictures. They got upset if you even try to take pictures of the rocks where they place their chairs. They can do their own business but a least let the public to enjoy the view. Plus, I read that the place is copyright for commercial use. So keep that in mind if you are going to use your photography for commercial purposes. Small enjoyable walk for picture of the beautiful mountains and plants.
No restrooms available
A little food stand with water and snacks.
Parking lot is available off asfalt. Family friendly. The kids will enjoy the colorful pieces of art.

It's about 15 minutes south of the strip.
I arrived around noon on a Sunday, and it was packed. So if you want pics with little to no people, I'd maybe try to get there early.
There was a food truck there when I visited. Not sure if it's there all the time. There are also a few spots not far from it. A truck stop with white castle and other options as well as a place called Pioneer Saloon just a few more minutes away.
The boulders are pretty cool to see in person. I'm glad I took the trip

While there are many thousands of reviews of this place already… if you’re looking to check this place out, it’s just fine for a short visit. Other than it being an art project, it’s good to see just about 1 time. It was fun for the drive out and about a good 10 minutes. Beyond that, it’s just a good see it 1 time and that’s good enough. It’s a quick attraction to do while you’re in Las Vegas.

A non-trivial spectacle, an installation of colored stones, outrageously simple but original, I definitely liked it 🗿
If you're passing by, make sure to stop by, it doesn't take long, the entrance is free and there aren't that many people. As I found out, this sculpture was created in 2016 by the world famous Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, so it's a good option to walk around, learn something new and take great photos🤳

This is easily one of the coolest places in the Vegas area, and it's completely free. If you're a photographer and want a really unique backdrop, this is perfect for that. Since it's just outside the city, it tends to be pretty quiet out here. And yet it's also very easily accessible, right off the highway and actually on Las Vegas Blvd. So if you're on the Strip and just drive south for half an hour, you'll end up here.

Must visit attraction near Las Vegas. Been to Vegas over dozens of times but never took the time to visit this place. Quite unique and amazing to view in person rather than in pictures and videos. Since this is a free attraction, expect to see nonstop visitors. So capturing this in photos or videos will include people in it. These are man-made, basically painted colorful rocks on top of each creating seven separate stacks of rocks.

Lots of space to move around. Tons of pictures taken by everyone who visited. I enjoyed my time and the art of the stones. I sleep enjoyed the walk in the desert and all the views that surround the stones. I say put this a must see. Art and nature all in one.
Located in the Las Vegas Valley, Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is a natural springs area and a popular hiking destination. The park also offers picnics, outdoor theater and historical re-enactments among sprawling old-school ranch land.
I love this place we got to walk around in nature and tour the ranch inside and outside the ranch house.

Visited Spring Mountain Ranch on a Thursday in May. The weather was sunny with an occasional cool breeze, 66 degrees. Paid a $10 fee to enter the grounds. Parked our car then went into the house and was treated to a nice historical overview of the property and its ownership by a docent. Property was previously owned by Vera Krupp (think Krupp diamonds) and Howard Hughes (though Hughes never occupied it) among others. She later took us on a tour of the otherwise off limits portions of the house. Interesting house design and appointments but certainly not over the top. Went into the gift shop and purchased some reasonably priced souvenirs. Exited the house and proceeded to walk the nearby hiking trails. Tons of scenic beauty to take in, including mountains, wildlife (burros, lizards, coots, etc.). Hiked to the large lake on the property then turned around and headed to the car. Overall, this was a nice experience and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an outdoor experience with breathtaking scenery. If into hiking, you could make a challenging day of it by hiking further up into the mountains.

Beautiful park! We had an amazing time hiking the trails, visiting the ranch house, and having a picnic on the grass. We learned a lot about the history of this place in the ranch house. There is a little museum and a gift shop. $10 entry for Nevada residents. The weather was very nice, about 70 degrees and sunny in late March. I recommend wearing sunscreen because the sun was intense at times.

Great place to go for a walk, even in the winter time, but very restrictive. There are fences everywhere to keep you on the paths!! Fences are fine, but with fences, photography is very restricted, unless you want man-made barriers in your natural setting. If you are trying to look at aquatic wildlife, forget it since the fences will keep you so far back that even a long lens will not do it.

Cute place to let the kids run around. I recommend packing a little picnic and lots of cold drinks. Pretty cool scenery and best trails if you are up for them. The ranch has so much history. It was fun to explore.

Stunning views! If you're in Red Rock make sure you stop by. Friendly staff. Very informative. There's a natural aquifer there so the burros are always there. They come down to have their babies where it's safer and there's plenty of grass and water available. The babies are adorable! And during the summer there's the live theater that's fantastic!

Absolutely gorgeous state park with natural and historical significance. The property is very interesting and is well maintained. This is a very close drive from the Vegas strip, yet when you are here you feel like you are far out in open desert.
There are several small and easy trails nearby that take you through wooded areas. Meanwhile the red rock mountains loom majestically int he background no matter where you are out. Surrounding this property are some beautiful Joshua Trees as well.
I am not sure why there are reviews saying the workers here were rude, everyone here was so nice, especially inside the house.

I loved the trails. It was beautiful out there. From the road you would never believe how beautiful the park was. The park rangers were super nice. It was so cool to go inside the ranch. It was once owned by Howard Hughes.

The parking lot for the ranch is a good size. There is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle. There is a good size, grassy picnic area with several large trees. The public restroom is located in picnic area. There is a walking trail that leads to a nice size pond. A guided tour is possible to see a cabin and smith shop. The main ranch house is the visitor center with gift shop .

Beautiful ranch with gift store and few hiking trails to explore. Great place to walk around, have a picnic and let the little ones roam around. There is a fee to get in but if you want to experience something totally not a Vegas vibe or different from city parks this will be it. Bring a picnic blanket, read a book and enjoy the quiet of nature.

A favorite park for the family with easy trails & open green space for picnics. It's just a calm, slow paced vibe here. I love the wild Burros, but I've also seen a coyote, hares, lizards, & tons of tiny toads. They also have yoga sometimes, guided hike adventures, & host super summer theater outdoor plays. I just keep coming back! Abundant, nice restrooms for a park too, plus a historical home to tour.

I've never been here before, but WOW!!!! What a beautiful place! There are many hiking trails, but they are uneven, dirt and rocks and sand with a possible water crossing or 2 if you are lucky! Highly recommend. This place is wonderful!

This has become my favorite getaway place . The landscapes are breathtaking, you literally feel like you are somewhere very far away from Nevada.
It has different trails & picnic areas. This place has so much history, definitely a must visit if you enjoy being in touch with nature.

Wonderful park! Took my dog here on a weekday during the afternoon. Only a few others were here and it was nice and quiet. Didn't see any burros but it is winter and a bit cold. Did most of the trails and they're pretty easy with beautiful views.

Small, historical state park with a few hiking trails, a picnic area and some historic buildings. Trails are fairly short, but contain a few sections that could be challenging for casual hikers. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trails. Not quite as varied as near by Red Rock NCA, but beautiful scenery and a nice hike. You can also see the Pahrump Poolfish (endangered) habitat and see some closer up in the small aquarium in the visitors center. The historic buildings and artifacts at the visitors center are an interesting bit of Vegas history. Rangers and volunteers were informative and friendly. Well worth a visit.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place while taking a drive around Red Rock. We are locals and wanted a day to drive around looking at the scenery since it was nice out. This isn't too far from the Red Rock scenic loop area, and it has a stone sort of arch, so it's a little easier to see.
The downside was the $10 it costs for locals. It goes to something good, and there were 4 of us in the car, but it still felt a bit pricey. We drove through and parked in the parking lot. The visitor center is beautiful! The building looked older, the grass was so green, and the trees were very big. There were even 2 brown cows! There were a couple of different trails you could take, some of course longer than others. We weren't really prepared for a hike of any sort, but we took a small path near the visitor center that seemed to be having a pokemon event for kids. There was a small sign for a scavenger hunt, and as we did the short loop, we found some little pokemon images along the way. We didn't go into the visitor center, as we figured it would be a little busy since it was Veteran's Day, but the path we took was really nice! There were informational signs about the different trees and brush, I love history and knowledge, so I stopped to read each one. I learned quite a bit reading those and looking at the plants.
Once we looped back from this trail, we headed out toward another. We passed some neat white benches and walked up a rock path to get to what must have been the beginning of multiple trails. We were going to take the Lake Harriet Loop, which was 0.4 miles. We got maybe halfway and decided to turn back. We did see the little lake, which was really cool. If you grew up in Las Vegas like I did, little nature things like this excite you! There were quite a few people out, again, because of the holiday. I'm sure if we kept going, this would have been a really nice loop. This is a cool place to get out of the city and get into a bit of nature.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is a true gem nestled at the base of the the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, providing some pretty amazing views. Steeped in history, this expansive 520-acre park was once the ranch of the legendary Howard Hughes. The park offers a plethora of activities for visitors of all ages. From hiking the scenic trails to exploring the historic house, there's something for everyone. One of the highlights for me was the serene lake and spring – a perfect spot for reflection and relaxation.
I was particularly drawn to the hiking trails, and while I managed to explore a few, I'm eager to return in the cooler months to traverse them all. The park's beauty is truly unparalleled, and the opportunity to step into the house and get a glimpse of its storied past was a unique experience.
I highly recommend a visit to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. Whether you're a history buff, an avid hiker, or just looking for a tranquil escape, this park has it all.

Impressive landscape! And that is the reason we came here to see an old Western-style Nevada town-themed attraction. Too bad we came on a Tuesday (their dark-days) but the staff allowed us to explore for free!
Definitely a must see attraction if you want to get-away from Las Vegas and see something different and unique.

I'm really sad to hear this place will be demolished to make way for yet more unwanted housing to facilitate corporate greed.
This is(was) a great place to get away for a few hours, the restaurant was pretty good with decent prices, the jewel of their menu was most definitely the bison steak and the bison burger, not always available but worth the trip to find out. I've taken my kids there before and it was a great bonding experience, the town was fun to stroll around in and the shows and gun fights were fun. I wish I had gone more often. Oh and the place is haunted...I wonder if the ghosts will stay and haunt the new place....I hope they do....... Lol.... 👻

It says fully operational Wednesday thru Sunday. We are here on a warm December day. The only things open are the things that cost money like the shops. Wax museum is closed. Most exhibits are closed. This is probably the worst attraction for adults I have ever seen. The petting zoo was decent and the kids during busy season might love this place. As for adults, don't bother .

The cowboys were great, the atmosphere was incredible. I ate in restaurant, then i my kids went on a 1 hr ride, I went back in restaurant to stay warm and dry from weather. My oldest daughter brought her puppy that is in training for a service dog, for seizures inside bar/restaurant, where the supposed bar/restaurant manager questioned us about puppy, then kicked us out of establishment and off of property. Shame on her and whoever hired her. I'm sure knowing Bonnie, and that being a FAMILY and animal rescue foundation would of never of stood for that. May nothing good happen for the survivors of her. That must be the only job a bar manager can get, treating patrons with disabilities bad. No wonder ur sold and closing.
Sprawling shopping center featuring brand-name department stores, outlet boutiques & eateries.
Great art to view, had no clue where I was going but enjoyed my lost walk through this place with all the have displayed. Didn’t seem like much shopping options but wondering if it’s a place more to explore randomly. Or just a run down mall made into a art display

Not much in the mall , maybe 6-7 stores still open LEVIS OUTLET has pretty good deal and it is connected to the casino , plenty of truck parking to stretch your legs on your half hour break ,or if you're spending the night casino has buffet ,and a bar with free beer wine and spirits if you're gaming, best truck parking is on the back side of mall/casino/hotel, with security patrol, you may park your truck anywhere on primm property unless it says no truck parking ,in one small area

** Really fun walk if you have time to burn at the supercharger! **
Model example of physical depression. Honestly such a cool space! Walking through was a lot of fun but for very different reasons than the owners would like. This is the legal way to walk through an abandoned building! 😂 the art made it feel doubly so. I counted 7 stores “open”. In quotation because none of them were actually open and a few looked like they haven’t been open in a while. This place is just begging to be a ‘con of some kind. Comic-Con, anime-con I don’t know but something! It would be a great layout and no stores to get in the way. I plan on watching to see when the building is closed for good. Too bad.

I dont know how to rate this place, it used to be so full and vibrant and was an amazing stop on the side of the road.. now it is still and empty. Michael kors and a Thrift shop are still open inside of the mall at this time, but that is it. Bathrooms are still functional, and clean.

I really don't know what store to give this place it was a place I used to go to all the time coming or leaving Las Vegas from LV to CA from CA LV it was the stopping point and now it's mostly empty it's really sad a lot of people have lost their jobs hundreds if not thousands. I miss what it used to be. Hope it comes back alive with more shops.

Uneventful, only about 4 stores still open. Food court is all abandoned. Mural artists have done a great job with the street art on walls. Great way to get your steps in, no customers.

If you are loooking for a 1980 mall experience, do not go. If you are interested in the 3 remaining stores and want a great post-Apololyptic walking experience to get in your steps on rare rainy days, or if you are interested in good artwork, go. It was a nice break from the crowded otherworlds of Vegas. I am posting some photos from the mall, so you can see the artwork.

It's pretty inside. It looks like it was great back in the day, but the only thing left open was an over priced thrift store and the casino. Otherwise, the whole thing is desolate. It's nice to just walk to stretch your legs from driving if you are traveling through, though.

This place has gotten a little disappointed throughout the years. A lot of the shops have gone out of business. But I do hope with everything that's opening we will get some new stores in the near future. But they do have some amazing art street art displayed throughout the mall.

No stores are open anymore other than Michael Kors and Bath&Body Works. There’s another store with lights and clothes inside but the gates were closed. A booth in the middle was still closed. Restrooms are clean though!
All the open stores are close to each other. You don’t have to walk around the mall unless you want to see the art work and/or do some photo shoots.

It's a dead mall. Quite literally. It's eerie walking in there. The music that's playing, as you walk in, echoes because it's so empty.
And the outside looks completely sun baked and not maintained. There's only ONE entrance you can go into.
When you walk in, you almost feel like you're in an apocalyptic movie. Not a single store is open when walking in.
The fountains that once were operational are now dismantled and in pieces.
Thankfully, the store I needed was off to the left in the main corridor.
If I had to guess, there's maybe 4 or 5 stores left open in this enormously empty place.
Why are they keeping this Mall open?
I wish I knew.
Leslie Maiko — Google review
This mall is very empty since covid affected its business. I thought it was cool walking through the mall as it gives off a vibe of being in a deserted city. There are maybe 5 or more retail shops here? I didn't count them. I enjoyed taking photos of this place.
Annette Grimes — Google review
As a mall, this place gets a zero star as it has only two stores left, a Michael Kors and a soap store. This was one of our favorite malls 20+ years ago, so it was kind of sad seeing it in its current condition. I imagine the two remaining stores will be gone when their current leases expire or maybe even sooner. Like others have mentioned, it was cool to walk around this nearly abandoned, but clean, mall. The arts that replaced the closed stores were very interesting. There are no place to eat inside, though there are a few fast food placin the parking lot. As of the Labor day weekend, you still can access the mall from Primm Valley casino, but the escalators were shut down. You can access the mall with a short flight of stairs from the casino. If you want to check out the arts before the mall shuts down permanently, then you will need to visit it soon.

China Ranch Date Farm & Bakery is a family-run organic date farm nestled in a lush oasis in the middle of the desert. It's located just south of Tecopa and can be reached by driving about 50 miles north on Death Valley Road. The farm is fed by the Armagosa River and offers activities such as hiking, bird-watching, and exploring national land trails. Visitors rave about the delicious milkshakes, cookies, and other goodies available at the bakery.
This places smells wonderful. The store has a bunch of local made items. Everything from clothes to purses to rocks to date bread and cookies that they bake in the store. What a great marketing tactic guys! We had a classic date shake for the first time and we were happy with how good it was. Creamy, light and with a vanilla base and small bits of date which sweeten it just enough. Thank you!

It was quite an adventure visiting the date farm! The contrast between the rugged journey down the dirt road and the sudden oasis of date palms and facilities is truly striking. And the presence of the Amargosa River adding life and sustenance to the area adds another layer of beauty to the landscape. Its like a hidden gem tucked away in the midst of nature's grandeur.
Don't miss out on the baked goods and the date shakes, they are mighty tasty.

This place is only one hour from my house, yet it took me over twenty five years to go here. It was a beautiful day with lots of people, being it was president’s day weekend. It wasn’t over crowded. We went on a couple small hikes but will go back for more hiking. The gift shop smells wonderful from the baking. They have rocks, hippie clothes, hats, and nature body products. The date cookies and dates were very fresh and delicious. There are a few antiques on the property and you can walk through the grove of palm trees. A great day

There are also some trails that are part of a national land area, so a great way to spend a cool afternoon.

There are places you can hike. Make sure to bring lots of water on hot days! And I have spotted a coyote within their date farm so be watchful.

Very eclectic. It’s a real fun place but everything is pretty pricey. I love the alien theme and they are building what looks to be a mothership behind the shop. Something to see anyway. But, my family spent $110 on a bag of pretty much nothing - candy, jerky, beads, pickled eggs, quirky drinks. The jerky was not amazing. In the future I will curb my kids from picking things.

I really admire what the alien jerky people have created. The super cool concept adds color and interest to an otherwise mundane drive back from Las Vegas. Unfortunately the jerky was really awful. Bought 2 packs of original and 2 packs of spicy. Both were as flavorless as a dry napkin. Very saddened to say that. The jerky was incredibly expensive to add to the disappointment. Overall I would rate the jerky 1 star but compelled to add 1 more star because I felt bad

This place has improved incredibly. I'd been going to this store for the last past 15 years when it used to be a small shop selling only beef jerky. Now it is a whole new level with cool, cute selections of merchandise. Also, they will have a hotel?! Impressive (so happy for them that they had prospered). Inside, it has been remodeled; a few additional products added. Always entertaining!
The staff are always available to help and appreciate it’s always staffed well.
Lastly, probably most importantly, they have tasty jerky!

It's a fun stop and worth a quick detour on a road trip. Very quirky and eccentric place, definitely one of a kind. That said, pricing is a little ridiculous so be careful. Sodas are $5 apparently, didn't see the prices advertised for them so feels a little deceptive. Obviously they have to cover the costs of the extensive decor, but they should be more transparent.

One of the better novelty stores I’ve seen…anywhere.
It’s full of fun trinkets and amusements. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a “greetings earthling” warm welcome.
The outside veneer is quite detailed. The inside is just a store, but full of neon lights, and lots of aliens.
It was a fun stop. They have much more than jerky to sell, tons of snacks and alien fan wear.

One of a kind experience, truly the worlds tallest thermometer (but it is digital!) Small gift shop and tables, check it out but not much there

We had to stop at the EV charging station that is at the back of the shop. Pretty windy but nice clear view of the thermometer for pictures. The shop cashier was very nice and helpful, merchandise prices are reasonable.

Whether I pass through day or night, it's always a pleasure to see that thermometer. Finally got the chance to stop in today and read up on a little bit of its history. Definitely worth the stop.
Purchased three postcards and they were glad to mail them for me, they even covered the postage!

It’s tall! It has an interesting story too. They guy running the gift shop is really nice and fun to talk with. They have a penny smashing machine with some neat designs.

I heard about the World's Tallest Thermometer on a show. Never thought I would see it in person. I was visiting Vegas and heard about Alien Jerky. So I took the 90-minute drive to Baker, California, and behold the World's Tallest Thermometer!
Being out in the dessert in September was still relatively hot. The temperature was sitting at 98 degrees Fahrenheit. When you're minutes away from Death Valley, it does get hot.
The gift shop was nice to browse around and, of course, had to get a souvenir proving that I've seen the tallest thermometer. The staff was super friendly and answered questions about the place.
If you're driving through Baker, I recommend stopping by, taking a photo, and picking up a souvenir.

Was indeed quite tall, cute gift shop. Only attraction this way besides the Zzxyz Rd sign but it was fun. I put it on my list for two truths and a lie. The gift shop was quaint but cute.

The world's largest thermometer is a bit run down, but it's a cool and unique attraction to visit. In addition to the thermometer, there are also other fun things to do on site, like using the penny smashing machine and using the bathroom. Overall, it's a fun and memorable place to check out.

The World's Tallest Thermometer is a steel electric sign in the city of Baker that is 134 feet tall to commemorate the hottest day in the Death Valley, occurred in 1913 at exactly 134 Fahrenheit degrees. It was built in 1991 by the Young Electric Sign Company for Willis Herron, a local businessman. After falling into disuse due to high electric bills, it was reacquired by Herron's family and made it operational again in 2014. Around the base there's now a diner and a gift shop.

Interesting place. I stopped there to charge my electric car at the behind store area. Then I enter to check what have inside. I had a good/nice conversation with the person inside the store, very polite and friendly. Then I went outside to take some thermometer pictures. It is really really tall. Funny and strange.

Cool pace to visit, lots of 4 star reviews on here but what can you expect? It is what I’d expect from a place and shirts at $20, that’s much cheaper than nearby in Primm or Vegas. The guy working was really nice and fun to talk to also! Neat little visit!

Cute little shop with Thermometer outside. Tables around. Very sweet, informative young man inside. Smashed Penny machine and clean bathrooms. Excellent stop on our road trip!

Lovely little spot on our way to explore the desert. The nicest staff in the shop - helped us out with local info and a general good wibe.

It was an alright visit, nothing to exciting about it. Just like that we were able to visit a little piece of history (more then half my life this place was closed/off.) glad I finally got to really explore it.
the flat penny machine cost a dollar. T-shirts range from about $20. Cute little cute stuffed animal of a bird with sunglasses think it was about $15.(might be wrong) Magnets are like 5$. I personally, really like the wall of money from around the world a collector myself. Clean store, clean bathrooms, respectful Clerk.
I think it’s a good place for a picnic lunch on a not so hot day.
Calico is a deserted town situated in the Calico Mountains of San Bernardino County, California. It was established in 1881 as a center of silver mining and rapidly grew into a thriving settlement with hundreds of mines and numerous drinking establishments. Over time, the town lost its importance as mining activities dwindled, eventually leading to its abandonment.
Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a large sanctuary that provides shelter for various wildlife in need and helps them recover before releasing them back into their natural habitat. This impressive zoo offers visitors an up-close view of animals that they may not have seen before, such as the snow leopard. The bear exhibits are particularly impressive and allow visitors to get closer to these magnificent creatures than ever before.
Amazing little zoo!! Didn't expect a whole lot going in and boy was I wrong. This intimate little zoo allowed us to see these animals way closer than expected! Went on a weekday, so it wasn't very busy. All of the exhibits were great, but the bear exhibits truly stood out. I have never been able to get that close to a bear before. It was truly magnificent. The thing that puts this zoo ahead of all others I have been to is how closely all of the animals can be viewed. Also my first time seeing a snow leopard. Definitely recommend!

We love the new Alpine zoo. Heads up though- the gift shop is closed due to the county COVID order. This may not affect too many people however our kids love to shop the stuffed animals as they’ve done every year.
All of the indoor exhibits are also closed. However, still a great time walking around, watching the animals and occasionally hearing some insights from zookeepers as they feed the animals.

An inexpensive adventure to take in few bears, birds, and a variety of other mountain type animals. Was a bit of a warm day and the animals weren't that active. Recommend going in the morning. Heard some of these animals were recovering. Would have been great to read some background on them. My 2 year old spent half his time playing on the playground equipment 1/2 way through the enclosure. Had a nice souvenir shop. Very nice employees throughout the zoo 👌
Michael Brandin — Google review
Small and cute zoo, we finished in less than an hour. The highlight was the shiny racoon! I also love the QR codes that lead you to the stories of the animals. Although kids there were a bit out of control, pushing people aside so they get a better viewing spot, howling to the wolfs and stuff, while the parents just stood there and took videos. Please respect other people who also paid to enjoy the zoo.

This is a small zoo/animal rehabilitation center but my kids loved it. We came in January and were still able to at least see all of the animals. It's clean and the animals seem well taken care of. There is a nice picnic/play area on the opposite end of the entrance with tables and a small playground. Decently priced especially considering the money supports animal rehab.

Very nice and well maintained small zoo. I remember coming to Big Bear and seeing this place near the ski place many years ago. I think it used to be called a sanctuary before, now labeled a zoo. Everything is new and the animals appeared to be taken care of. Nice place to visit with the kids when in the area.

We enjoyed our visit here. Yes, it's small and yes, the enclosures are way too small for the predator animals like the Mountain Lion & Coyotes. But it's clean and there is a variety of animals to see. The staff were nice. It's a little pricey, but the money goes to a good cause!

I loved seeing the animals!!!! My kids and I saw a lot of animals we've never seen before, up close too was so cool!!! There were a couple animals that didn't have a description or info on them I was disappointed about that but nice Lil zoo with a cute kids play area :) we were there for ì'd say an hour ish? And omg we saw a blonde racoon!!! Lol

I love zoos and this one did not disappoint. It’s a small sanctuary where the animals can live out the rest of their lives in a safe environment. The zoo was very clean and informative. The front lady was also very sweet.

Enjoyable experience for the family. 15 dollars for adults.
Lots of parking in the lot.and free.
This is the new location! Construction on roads can be difficult to find the entrance even if youre right there looking at the zoo.
Needs better signage. Had to drive all the way around.
Costs about 15 for adult tickets.
You can see bears, ravens owls foxes wolves coyotes, raccoons, deer, eagle hawk snow leopard.
No shade in here only by restrooms. Bring sunscreen and water. No water provided.
Children have a small playground inside.
Gift shop available.
Small zoo. I'd say you can see all the animals in 30 to 1hr taking your time.
But its cool to see 👀 ravens tear apart mice during feeding time.

Nice little zoo in Big bear! It will be fun for kids and usually takes less than an hour to walk around! There are many animals and birds to see but keep in mind that they will be in the shadows if it’s too hot when you visit!

Great place to take the kids, small but very nice Zoo with bears, birds, deer, and foxes. Small playground is an added bonus. I suggest going early in the summer months as it is in the sun. Small gift shop with very reasonable prices. I look forward to going again.

We had a blast with our two year old. It’s a small zoo nestled in the mountains and the views are GORGEOUS. It’s set up so that even toddlers can have a great view into every enclosure and there were a couple of play places. This zoo provides the opportunity to get the closest we’ve been to bears before. Very cool.
Jake Newsome — Google review
I've been to many zoos small and large and this one had the saddest looking animals, with the smallest and most barren enclosures. The bears seem to be the star attraction and they're kept in dirt and concrete with a few trees and a water feature. The four owls in a single enclosure with almost no shade was depressing as well. The only animal remotely happy was the fat squirrel. Again I've been to smaller zoos before, but the animals had much more shade/privacy, usually the great frustration with zoos is that the animals are tucked away and hard to see, not here though, completely exposed.

Alex was such a friendly and welcoming staff member that provided incredible fun facts about each of their animals. Definitely a great place to visit any time you're in the area.

It was a very nice day. It is a very small zoo. It was a beautiful day cool weather and it felt like Winter. I must say the animals were very sluggish. It wasn’t very expensive free parking and $11 dollars for seniors.

Nice zoo with a nice path to see all the rescued wildlife animals. There were so many animals, owls, eagles, raccoons, bears, foxes, coyotes. Very clean a lot of traffic but easy to maneuver around. Gift shop was way to busy to buy anything. I will be back.

Only been here once (March 2024) and loved it. It's not a giant zoo but you see a lot of animals and the playground for children was in great condition, my kids loved it. My favorite was the birds, especially the Golden Eagles!

The staff was really nice and the place was well maintained. I noticed all the animals were well maintained and well taken care of. My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the zoo and also learned a couple of things about each animal(QR you can scan) which we found really cool
Long-running, popular option with 33 runs, night riding, terrain parks & a climbing wall.
If the season is good this is the best resort you can find within 3 hours driving from LA. But always check the traffic if you head to Big Bear village during snowstorm or in holidays otherwise you can stuck in traffic for hours.
The resort is good and I’ve got no complaints ever. I’m a huge fan of Snow Summit’s night sessions. Slopes become almost empty and it’s so cool to ride through the forest when the sky is dark and snowing.
Maxim P. — Google review
Crowded lifts, lots of people and snow can be slushy.
Can be ok if you must ski in so cal.
Avoid fresh snow days as it will be packed wall to wall.
Better to just drive a bit further so you can enjoy your day more.
Other than the the resort is nice but needs to update older lifts.
Addition of 1-2 more all mountain lifts would help to eliminate issues with lines.
Needs better snow making capabilities to take advantage of snow making days.

It had been years since we skied here. We typically ski in Mammoth. We have the Ikonpass and Big Bear is only 2 1/2 hours from home. This was our first ski trip for this season and we went at the end of January. We went on a Friday and we didn’t realize that they charge for parking close to the resort. There is free parking farther down and there is free shuttle service. There is a long wait for the shuttle. Snow Summit is bigger than Bear Mountain & the lodges are nicer. There seems to be less snowboarders than Bear Mountain that I like.

Nice place. Wish they had night time runs during the week. They also really do give you free lift tickets If you are there on your birthday. My wife skied for free our last day. That was an added bonus.

We came here for downhill and it was worth every dollar. The bike rental service is excellent: bikes are high quality and they give protection for elbows, knees and head included. The lines for the summit lift are very quick and smooth. The trails are of 4 different levels, all super nice and various. Best downhill experience I have had so far.

He was super great and taught me exceptionally well! My other friend didn't have a very good experience with the lesson she signed up for though, she didn't feel like she learned a lot. But we all had a great time!

Visited snow summit on a Friday for a hike.
Bought a ticket for myself and my daughter. I used my ikon pass all day for food and got one round trip on the chairlift.... summit turns into a bike park during the summer and also has lots of hiking trails. Did a couple trails and picked up lunch on top of the mountain. We had Burgers and fries and it was perfect, lunch with a view.
Also, at the bottom they have activities for kids
Zipline, Rockwall, bungee trampoline, and you can pan for gold....fun day if you're looking for something to do while I big bear

What's not to love about this place. Snowboarding only 2 hours away from Los Angeles. Night time was very icy but the day was good. I really enjoy the mix of runs available with ramps and boxes to try different things. You can also enjoy the beautiful lake as you head down the mountain.

I love skiing & this is my local ski resort so I really want to give it a higher rating but the experience has some challenges. Parking & traffic control is almost always a mess. It’s gotten worse the last few seasons. Most people have to park off site & shuttle in. We buy the premium parking pass, but it’s still a challenge most days. The lines can be really long in the base area at tickets & rentals. We buy passes which helps, but it can be a maze to get through to the snow. When there is good snow & good grooming, the lift lines are usually pretty short although chairs 1 & 2 can be long. I recommend lessons for beginners, otherwise there aren’t a lot of runs for those without basic skills.

Great place for mountain biking in spring, summer, and fall after the last snow and before the new snowfall occurs. Great also for wintersports, of course. The summit restaurant serves good food in a pretty simple sports dining hall atmosphere. The views from up there are beautiful and so is the lift ride, up and down.

I loved the place, I went there with my dad, and brother. We all had a fun time, saw the “Red Cross” people skiing down the hill pretty often to ensure safety. Also saw snowmobile used as an emergency, si place is really nice a safe.
Only thing I wish is the prices were better when renting equipment, other than that! Great place!

I visited snow summit for the first time on a Friday and luckily it wasn't packed. Food was pricey and okay. Drinks were pricey but better than the food. Lift prices are a bit high but for every once in a while, it seems fair. Pretty views of the lake and helpful employees

I am an intermediate skier and went solo for the first time. It snowed the day prior so enough snow I didn't have to worry about scraping or anything. Runs were well manicured, with lifts all open, and not crazy busy. I did about 15 runs without incident. The people were friendly and overall pretty curious on the slopes, so a great day! Did I mention the view? Wow. Snow, lifts, lake, just beautiful. Nice warming restaurant - buffet pick up style, quick food, and a fire all inside should you choose. Outside has Adirondack wooden chairs around to "chill" in. Lol. Lift ticket pricing, well... You know everything can't be perfect.

I have some positive reviews to leave for my families lesson on 3/09/24! Firstly, the kids academy was absolutely outstanding! From
the morning when I addressed concerns about my son on his first time skiing the staff put me at ease! After that first session, my son came back and told me “ I love this and can’t wait to do the afternoon session.” The second session he had Rick- and he was absolutely amazing with Conner! First impressions are so very important to a child adapting to a new sport, and this academy did an absolutely wonderful job of making a positive first experience outstanding!!! Thank you to the Kids academy!!
Now for my experience, I had not went skiing for 35 years. I went to the second timers class. Within 5 seconds of getting off the magic carpet I was in the snow. Glen O. came over and helped me. He became my teacher for the next couple hours. He helped me overcome my anxiety, calmed my nerves and taught me in an outstanding fashion! After my lesson I actually went up to Summit Run x2 and only fell once! It was because of the excellent teaching that I was able to do this comfortably and with confidence! My husband had Lyle- who taught him fantastically as well! I can’t speak highly enough for all the teachers we had on 3/9/2024!

Museum dedicated to Route 66, famed Main Street of America, has stories, photos, artifacts & more.
What a fun museum. Such a beautiful layout of Route 66 memorabilia and archives. Delvin is a volunteer whom we had the pleasure of speaking with. He is so knowledgeable about the route and has fun facts to share with anyone who wants to listen. He is very friendly and his excitement to share his stories is contagious. He is great at pointing out some of the smaller details that might get lost in this plethora of goodies. The museum has several cute little photo ops and some larger ones too. This museum is put together well and they take care to display their items so it isn't a bunch of stuff just put in a corner. Would highly recommend the California Route 66 Museum for all ages.

California Route 66 Museum
Route 66 Victorville, California
February 2022
We visited the California Route 66 Museum last year and we decided to revisit the Museum once again this year on our latest road trip. The reason for this trip was to actually see more of the Museum and see more of the displays. Our previous trip was more of a Photographic trip. There is always something you miss or probably didn't see on a previous visit. This was the case. We looked more into the old photos to learn more about the history. Thankfully we had some much needed help from several of the volunteers such as Delvin Roy Harbour and Benita Morgan-Bushop. There was one other volunteer at the museum but unfortunately I did not get her name. Delvin showed us some older photos and what building were there at that time period. It was fantastic looking at these photos and listening to its history. Of course we still manage to take lots of photos in the museum..
The Museum is a great place to visit. There are lots of photo opportunities especially for selfies or with family and friends. Take a seat in The VW bus or take a photo by the classic car or even take a photo in front of the Victorville Outhouse. With several rooms and displays you can learn so much about this Route 66 Town and history. The museum also has a gift shop with great merchandise. We have added a few photos of the merchandise in this post.
We definitely will be returning in the near future. It's a fun place to visit with great volunteers and lots of fun things to see.

Love it! The walk is great around the lake, lovely scenery, fresh air, beautiful mountains and trees. Many times we been here and I cant get enough of it. For the 1st time we went on a boat ride around the lake on a cold day because we reserved a reservation weeks before. We made the best fun out of it with bubbles, blankets, and a Bose to connect to our music. My daughter loved it. I recommend doing it.

Lake Gregory is one of my most absolutely favorite places. From taking a beautiful, serine and peaceful walk around the lake, to fishing, kayaking, boating, duck feeding, and the water park; there is always something to enjoy here. Lake Gregory has the cutest night markets with good eats and amazing vendors, amongst the monthly events that are hosted here. This weekend we enjoyed and participated in the annual lantern festival. It is always a romantic and memorable special experience with your loved ones. I highly recommend this event and Lake Gregory. Oh, there is also a dog park.

This is a small lake compared to big bear and arrowhead lake but in my opinion this is the most beautiful of them all. You can walk around the whole lake, I haven’t done it but it looks doable. There are areas where you can swim but you have to pay to do that. Definitely recommend this little gem.

Regarding the inflatable zone. ONE ATTENDANT is admitting the online ticket holders at the gate. A thousand people in line. ONE attendant. (See photo of line) ONE person is also checking all coolers for alcohol. The checking process is incredibly slow and inefficient. We have been in line 30 minutes on blazing asphalt with no shade and moved about half way to the entrance. So it looks like we will miss first hour of play time.
Meanwhile the line for the walk up ticket windows has about 30 people and they are let in (a separate gate, cutting line) very quickly.
It’s a county park. Government sloth employees mindset. DMV meets water park FTW!!!
Update: Per the Ranger I spoke with, swimming is PROHIBITED in the ENTIRE lake except at the paid water park area. You can only enjoy swimming for a fee and long wait in line. Nature is heavily regulated here.
Update: there is also an hour line to play on the inflatables after the park entry line (photo)👍👍

Such a great area for an easy 4mile walk around the lake. Stop halfway for a boat ride along the lake. If you are going to rent a canoe I recommend starting earlier in the day. Mid afternoon can bring strong wind. I went mid-October and the area was not crowded. I heard from many people that it can get really crowded in the summer. With that being said, all the activities described sound like a fun family outing. It is amazing how close to LA this little mountain town is and how far from the bustle of the city I felt. Great way to detox from the city and recharge.

Great place to take the family and spend a day. Parking is $10 for the whole day and there is a nice trail, a bit over two miles, that will take you around the lake. If you are interested in the aquatic/inflatable water park, it opens around May and closes for the season in late September.

What a fun place. We came here while camping at dogwood because it was a hot day and we heard that the had water play here. We came on a Wednesday in July so it's summer time and everyone is out camping. We got here at about 11 and it was already pretty busy. The main parking lot was full but we found a place on the street and it was a short walk. For the ticket to play on all the water blowups and the big slide it was 20 bucks. A little more than I would like to pay but was still worth it. The beach had a lot of people but we were able to find a great spot on the water. The big slide was fun but the line went pretty slow. The blowups were a blast. I'm an old guy (42) and I was out there with two of my teanagers and really had a great time. Even with a LOT of people out playing you still find your place and are able to play. They allowed ice chest and drinks but no alcohol. They also had a little stand with food and drinks. We will be back here for sure because it was a great day.

Found Lake Gregory because Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead were too crowded. Lake Gregory is not as big as the two other popular lakes that's it's more peaceful around here.
It's great for kids too because there was plenty of space to play with snow and build snowmen. Parking was not a problem, however, the snow was thick and deep, our car (Subaru Outback) even had a hard time going in and getting out of the parking area.
I would love to come here in spring and other seasons. It probably will be beautiful and still peaceful.

Lake Gregory is a beautiful place to visit, easy to get to with parking right on the shoreline at the northern end and though I've never caught a fish there it's fun to try while cooling off in the water!
There's a hiking trail all the way around the lake and a water park at the southern end that's great for everyone!
I only gave it a 4 star because it can get a little windy at times but still worth the drive up the mountain!

Clean up and some construction is currently going on in the south parking lot, which is good to see they are maintaining things here. The park is kept up pretty well. There is a dog park, fishing, exercise equipment and a small water park. You can walk around most of the lake (maybe the whole thing but we didn't make it). It is a nice area to get away from the cities. There are a few benches and trash bins on the walking trail.

Please bring back The Reel Band on Saturdays!!
And the DJ that was there when they performed on Saturday, May 20, 2023!
Great Band! Should be on the rotation for Saturdays and not just for Karaoke,
What a waste!

May I also request The BIG BAND ON SATURDAYS AS WELL. They were there in 2022, about a year ago and haven’t been back since.

Never met a man who’s so disrespectful and impolite and Ignore me just because I have 15 mins before close time. His name is James . Super disgusting and disrespectful. I had the guys that fix the beers Sergio before him . They called him and he walked up and said I’m not serving you. What kind of employee does this: he hid behind the bar after asking his name multiple times .

We were there Saturday September 28th, 2019.
10 dollar cover charge with players card. Limited seating and the BOE (Best of everything Band) was great. DJ Gary is one of the better old school DJ's that you will find.

Horrible. Went for what I thought was a free concert then found out we had to pay a fee. Super Small area. I was willing to pay the fee but then was told that I was not allowed in because the dress code doesn’t allow sandals without a heel strap… RIDICULOUS!!! It doesn’t even say anything about their dress code on their website OR at the place!!!!

I am having a bad experience right now. Waitress Ibeth spilled drinks on us just because she got distracted by saying hi to her friends ..even tho she brought the drinks we didn't ask for. It's been 30 min and we haven't had what we asked. We complained about it with "Jorge" twice ... he did NOTHING about it. Don't come to this place. They charge you to enter and for the table that is not even worth it.

I can't say enough about how TERRIBLE this place was. What a waste of money!! Those teenage looking managers were on a huge power trip and were so rude,They desperately need a course on customer service. I Celebrated my 40th birthday with a huge group and had to pay $20 a person just to enter another $50 just to sit and $8 for each little 1/4" shot in a Dixie cup. $300 later they CHANGED rules half way through the night to force masks WHILE we were all dancing. I called ahead to reserve a table and wasn't told any of this before hand. Such a disappointment

Came for the opening night for the summer season.
It was wonderful to be there, listening to the orchestra, the amazing singer, and relaxing under the stars.
My grandfather Bill Gollan used to play here many years ago as a concert pianist when he owned three local music studios (Gollan Keyboard Music Studios). He had one on Orange street, one in Banning, and a third one I forget where.
My first job was at the Smiley Library, and my High School Graduation in 1988 was held there.
I love Redlands, the culture, the preservation of history, and the gem that Redlands is.
Thank you for a fantastic evening!

We’ve lived in the area for so long and finally attended a music event here. Although we got there after starting time, we were still able to enjoy the music while sitting on the grass. I can imagine people arrive very early to find a sitting spot on the benches, or in the grass, where you can still get a good view of the stage. Hoping to come again soon.

Very fun experience free with donations! Bring your family and have a nice outing this summer. Different performances of plays, bands, singers, and orchestra to name a few. Check their website for a brochure on who is performing and when. The fact it's free is a gem of our community and should be protected, cherished, and supported.

Large outdoor space with benches and grassy areas for a picnic. The real 5 star experience is the summer Bowl season. It is the best, even compared to the Hollywood bowl because it is free. What a great way to bring together a community. It starts at 8 pm so make sure the little ones are comfortable.

Free concerts and shows. Tips and donations based.

The Redlands Bowl is a gem right in the heart of the city. Saw Little Mermaid performed there last weekend for FREE and my family loved it. We came early and brought a picnic. It was our first time ever going to the bowl. But now that we know how fun it is, we're going to check out more of their shows. Planning on seeing Sergeant Pepper's Bluegrass band this week!

What an amazing first time experience in Redlands Bowl! People of all ages gather together to watch Taiko Drummers in their heart pounding performance-literally and figuratively. Their performance was like a perfect marriage of music and martial arts.
The performers were very enthusiastic for enormous crowd. Takes time to get used to it since the pandemic. The cherry on top was you get to watch it for free.
Bring your own picnic mat and folding chairs.
I just frown up some folks living their trash in the seats.
Kindly be responsible and help this long standing free summer open air music for other people to enjoy.
Programs every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm. No registration required. Hour long performances from artists
The March Field Air Museum is a hidden gem that hosts over 70 historic military aircrafts, including operational jets. The museum offers an extensive collection of treasures to learn from and contemplate, with the planes on display being just the beginning. Visitors can get up close to these massive machines and marvel at their power.
This is a hidden gem. The museum is much larger than I thought it would be and absolutely filled with treasures to learn and reflect upon. The planes out on the flight line are just the tip of the iceberg - and there are a lot of planes to comprehend. The ability to get so close to these massive machines is breathtaking. My favorite exhibit however is tucked in the back corner of the museum - the story of a WWII aviator in his own words by the letters he wrote home. The story starts at his recruitment in Buffalo NY to basic training to his death is the Pacific and to the recovery of his body. Powerful first hand understanding of the War experience. Look for it during your visit. You'll enjoy it too!

What an incredible experience. You don’t have to be aviation fan to enjoy this beautiful museum. Amazing technology created decades ago. You get to see the SR-71A Blackbird the worlds fastest aircraft up close. And the magnificent B-52 which is a monstrous aircraft. A very broad selection of fighter jets. There’s a lot to see at this museum so plan to take your time if you want to fully appreciate world class aviation.

March Field Air Museum was a fantastic surprise for me, as I just happened to be in the area for business. They have several dozen classic military aircraft on display, and many in the process of being restored - I actually got to see a technician working on an F-4 Phantom as well as an F-86. Any military aviation enthusiast will love this facility. It’s a little more rough around the edges than more major air museums, but I loved that about it. You can tell the museum is a passion project for those involved.

Having been to a bunch of aviation museums, including Dayton AFB, the USS Intrepid, and the Smithsonian, I would put this up there as one of the best.
They're very well stocked with tons of cool aircraft, and the staff is really enthusiastic. Plus they're right next to an active airfield with F-35, F-16, F-18, and Predators. I wish I had more time and will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.

March Field Air Museum was absolutely fantastic. Generally admission is $15 but Veterans get a discount. They have a gorgeous SR-71 inside with the canopy open so you can get a look inside the cockpit. Totally awesome. The flight line outside has a wonderful collection of aircraft from many decades of service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and a joy to talk with while visiting the museum.

This place is truly a hidden gem, offering more than just the opportunity to see airplanes and artifacts; it provides an unforgettable experience of meeting former pilots such as the great Walter Fus. He shared captivating anecdotes and tales of his journeys, showing us pictures that filled us with pride for our men in uniform and the Air Force. I learned a tremendous amount from listening to him. Witnessing the dedication and effort required to maintain these engineering marvels was eye-opening. Exploring the cabin and being surrounded by controls, switches, and buttons was an exhilarating experience. This place is at the level of the NASA Visitor Center in Florida. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to bring your family and friends along and take advantage of this fantastic place where you'll create great memories that you and your family will cherish forever.

If you live in socal, you owe it to yourself to visit March Field Air Museum and learn some history about such an important location that's been the home to some of the most famous aircraft in history. To live so close to such a historic place, it'd be a disrespect to our veterans and currently serving men and women not to visit. One of the coolest museums that I've ever been to where you can be within breathing distance of some of these iconic aircrafts. Oh and before I forget, yes they have dessert and they serve that as soon as you walk in in the form of the SR-71 Blackbird and it is magnificent.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome! So glad I made the drive down here. Worth the traffic. Parking is easy and the museum has plenty of air conditioned indoor space. It can get very hot and, other than under wings, there is little shade in the outside areas. This whole facility is way more than I expected it to be. A huge selection of aircraft, vehicles, uniforms, and much more. Covers all the major conflicts, space, and civilian aviation. The inclusion of memorabilia from other nations is a really nice touch as well. On par with the Air Force museum in Dayton, OH.
Brent Hofmann — Google review
From my point of view, this air museum is one of the best among similar establishments in Southern California. It has a vast collection of military aircraft, including WWII and decades of the Cold War. My favorite airplane at this museum is SR-71. It was a unique reconnaissance aircraft capable of cruising for hours three times faster than the speed of sound. It carried incredibly sofisticated photo cameras and various advanced sensors. Visitors can see this amazing airplane from a close distance and even take a look inside of its two cockpits. There is a nice gift shop inside the museum. The museum's personnel is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have many volunteers who are happy to answer any questions. It's a really nice place for any aviation and history buff.

March Field Air Museum is one of the larger museums that I have visited. There are quite a few.modern warbirds. Sadly most are in terrible condition. The paint is peeling, wind screens are cloudy and many have flat tires. I would rather see preservative plastic on the glass than what I saw. When you can see the cockpits, they are in a decaying state.
It would be wonderful if someone could clean up the interiors.
Not a lot of prop driven planes, mostly jets.
I did enjoy watching KC-135's doing touch and goes. Plus a pair of F-16s took off, that fun watching.
March Air Museum is a great teaching location. Children will learn about military aviation throughout history.

Awesome museum! Super friendly people. Love the exhibits up close and free to touch most of them. Hands-on experience on may exhibits. Super Awesome flight simulators are free to use. Bring your good walking shoes. You'll need them outside for their extensive collections of well maintained military aircrafts. If you don't feel like walking, that's okay. They offer a guided tour where they do all the driving and will stop at every aircraft and give you an excellent description of every aircraft.

The workers are very nice, very friendly, professional and above all they answer all your questions about the place. In fact, I think most of them have been working there for a long time because they know a lot about it. There are two areas. The inside area is history and The outside area has all the airplanes you can imagine. I really loved the museum.

Outstanding museum, if you like airplanes or want to learn more. The mini bus ride around almost every plane is a must do (about 45 minutes). The military radio history is pretty good also. The people that work there are mostly volunteers and really enjoy what they do and are very knowledgeable. This place is a great tribute to those who served. Real glad we went.

Riverside National Cemetery, located near the March Field Air Museum, is a significant resting place for veterans. As the third-largest cemetery operated by the National Cemetery Administration, it offers solemn grounds and ample space for eligible members of the armed forces to be buried. Established in the mid-1970s and spanning 1,250 acres, this serene site opened on Veterans Day in 1978 and now holds over a quarter of a million graves.
My mom is buried here in this cemetery. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful place for her body to rest. When it's time for my father to rest his body, my mom will be here with open arms waiting for the love of her life. Thank you to everyone who keeps this place so clean. God Bless!

What a lovely cemetery with ponds, trees, ducks and wildlife. It is an honorable resting place for those who have served our great nation as well as their spouses.
People please be respectful and keep your dogs in your car, it is disgraceful to see someone’s pet doing their “business” on American soldiers plots 😡.
It is kept up by volunteers and they generally have served as well so as please just be courteous and respectful to all 🥰

We laid my fiancé’s grandfather to rest here and everything turned out beautiful. The military honor ceremony was so nice. The staff was all very kind as well.

Beautiful place horrible service!! They disrespected my loved one too the fullest. The services were rushed, lasted 15 min at most and was rudely interrupted by one of their workers!! Our party got separated by the workers and we didn't even get to say a proper goodbye. I've never been to a funeral that was handled so poorly. Heather who was a point person was all over the place and rude. When we asked her what just happened and why did we get separated she simply said, pin your location and have your siblings come to the grave site. I informed her that they didn't have their phone on since it was our father's funeral and she said, well you can walk to go get them. Then she said, I have another service to get to so if you have any questions you can email me.. I emailed them to complain and of course I never got a response. Horrible service

We came to visit and teach our children about Memorial Day. This cemetery is vast and beautiful. I have learned that the Riverside National Cementary is the largest of all in the United States. So many stories one can learn from reading the several placards scattered throughout the cementary. Even on a busy day like today you can find areas of tranquility. The memorial to the medal of honor soldiers is a sight to see. I would recommend good walking shoes and parking at the entrance off Van Buren. I was told inside the administration office there are several war artifacts however it was closed due to Covid policy.

Went to a race in February of 2023 and it was a fantastic experience. Besides getting in which was just waiting in a long line of cars, the racing experience itself was fantastic. The food options were endless, there was a pretty solid selection of merchandise. It was a very entertaining race and the best part was Kyle Bush (the winner). Definitely sad they’re turning it into a short track, but still happy I was able to see track before the renovations. 10/10

This is a fantastic outdoor mall location. Well placed with a great mix of classic well known shops, great eats and mom and pop shops. There is a theater and plenty of sitting areas, parking and fun things to see. There are surrounding stores and restaurants to visit as well. Ample parking and close to freeway.

I love coming here during the holidays to see the Christmas lights and browse all the shops they have. It does get very crowded and parking can be difficult to find even in the lots outside the mall especially on the weekends. Some of my favorite food spots here are Lucille's, The State, and The Dessert Bar. The mall has a little grassy area towards the center where kids usually play, and during the holidays they can catch a train ride or a picture with Santa. The streets and sidewalks are also wheelchair/stroller friendly, though since it gets crowded it can get hard to navigate inside a smaller store.

Plus it has a gravity to it. If you're in the Rancho Cucamonga area for any reason, you'll be drawn there. Victoria Garden is the landmark in Rancho Cucamonga especially around the holiday season. The Christmas atmosphere there is simply magical! It is a great place to hang out with friends and family, take a walk or enjoy a good meal in a relaxing atmosphere. However, there have been some safety concerns lately such as car windows bring smashed or cars being broken into. Like in any other places, always be mindful of your surroundings especially when you park your car.

Quite possibly one of the best times that I’ve had in Cali was at this shopping center. I don’t know that I can call it a shopping center. It appeared to be so much more than that. There were a plethora of stores that were appealing to myself as well as my mom and other family. There was no way we could finish this in one evening. There were too many stores and restaurants to name. I plan to conquer this mega-outdoor mall upon my return because I will not be defeated. Plenty of parking and the best thing about it was that it was outside.

It is a hit and miss - I had a friend that liked his tour. But, for me, it was unforgettable in a bad way. I went to the tour in 2016.
The tour guide (I wish I remember his name, but he can be seen in one of the pics, wearing a olive green shirt) was terrible! It looked like he hated that job, or he was replacing someone else. There is a wall with some historic guitars (including some early days Fenders), he didn't allow us to stop and see it. He was constantly ironic, sometimes impolite at people. He mocked my accent (I'm Brazilian) in front of people when I asked a question. He was rushing people.
Despite that, I saw a Limited Edition guitar what was about to be launched and I asked if I could buy that guitar. But the purchase experience (with the same guy) wasn't nice, so I gave up.
Also, when you enter the main tour hall, there is the ModShop room (place where you can assemble your own guitar, putting different parts together) and the professional on the charge of that room was also rude.
Factory-wise: it's just a factory. Nothing different from other regular guitar factories. The pics I'm posting here can prove my point.
Something good: at that time, there was a room with most guitar amps made by Fender, and anyone could give them a spin. On the other hand, there wasn't a lot of guitars to be played.
Anyway, I used to be a Fender fanboy when I was a kid, and that tour was the last straw, shaking my relationship with the brand. This is my experience and I wish I had written it immediately after my visit.
PS: the smile in one of the pics was taken before the tour, when I arrived at the facility.

Drove all the way from San Diego, Visitor Center closed. They should have listed it on their website CLEARLY. WE ARE CLOSED DUE TO COVID !!! The security guard that met us at the entrance said “I keep telling Maria to change that “ Very inconsiderate

My 2015 Fender American Standard Stratocaster (olympic white) has aged nicely, however the polyurethane paint is starting to show through and I can clearly see that it has 4 pieces of wood glued together. IS THIS WHAT FENDER HAS BECOME??? Anyway it looks terrible, not the quality you would expect from Fender.

Even with covid restrictions lifted fender does not want the public to tour. I don't want to buy from them then. No where was it listed they are closed to the public and they don't offer a phone number to call.

Raging Waters Los Angeles
Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Large, popular water park with dozens of slides & attractions, plus an area for tots & a sand beach.
This park is so much fun; I would recommend bringing the kids! Only about 3 rides weren't operating that day, which was great! We got on all of the others! The longest line we waited in was 15 minutes! I will admit, I was expecting a longer wait times. Food was AWESOME!
Make sure you remember sun screen AND reapply! Stay hydrated! 💦
I would visit again 😍🤞🏼

The place is a good place to visit with family and friends, to have fun in the water, the rides are good... Just that making a line for so long! It's crazy, by the time they close, you don't enjoy all the rides, maybe a few, and if you want the line to be faster, you have to buy a pass that is a bit pricey 🏊🏼♀️🌊💦⛲😎☀️well other than that my family and I had fun, did our best to enjoyed as much as we could

It's Raging Waters. How can you not have fun? The chicken tenders are definitely expensive at $15 but they're really good if that's any consolation. The fries are also good. The lazy river is fun as long as you're in a tube. The water is very dirty so you don't really want to get in it. The rides are all great and the staff is friendly. It's a good time. Alot plenty of time for parking. While they have several shuttles and a bus, it's alot of people to move around.

I see that there’s a lot of negative reviews on this place but that is not the case on my experience. We had a great time here with the kids. The food is descent but if you want to bring your own food you can. Staff were always friendly to us and helpful. When we went it was clean and the stores were organized. The bathrooms were clean and there was always someone in there cleaning the bathrooms. Overall it was a great experience and would return for summer!

Love working here! Definitely a great team dynamic, plenty of room for advancement, and effcient way to earn some income during the summer months. Also grew up coming here as a guest with family and friends and have made some amazing memories along the way. Seen the transformations and improvements of the park over the years and hope to continue seeing the park provide guests with fun-filled experiences. I recommend a season pass!

Cool family spot but there are a lot of negatives. Pizza at the cabana sucks. Preferred parking is $50! Like wow. Ice was not cold in the drinks. Tubes in the lazy river are first come first serve basis. Waves in the wave pool are not even high. Lol But I would come back tho.

We got the tickets online the night before, there was a Labor Day sale, one adult ticket was $39.99 plus a service fee around $4 ($8 service fee for 2 tickets). We also bought the standard parking ($25) and H2Go standard pass ($55). The parking was fine, we got there early as the park was opening. You have to ride a tram so I would recommend getting there early if you buy standard parking. We thought the H2Go pass saved a lot of waiting on a Saturday and allowed us to go on more rides. It was not overly crowded. A Beyond Burger w/ fries was around $18, so was the small locker which fit one backpack. It was fun! Lots of enjoyable water rides, my favorites were High Extreme and Bombs Away 😎

Nice and relaxing day once we were permitted to go in area for Cabana we reserved! Gates opened at 10am, wasn't allowed in area to check-in for Cabana til after 10:15am,then not allowed in Cabana area til 11:00am...
Wasted time just standing around.
Need better procedure to accommodate guest.

A summer day perfectly spent with kids and friends!
Pristine wave pool , kiddie pool, and those big slides huh!! The big slides are more than enough for your adequate adrenaline flow...
Please remember of the long lines you will be experiencing for all big rides..
This was my second visit in 4 years and as always I found 2 to 3 rides were under maintenance.
Make sure you have enough of sunscreen and a sunglass.
Food inside is too expensive ,and not that savory , if you are taking premium parking $50, you may bring food and keep in cooler.
Have a waterproof mobile pouch or keep it in locker. Complete park is now cashless.

It's a great place. If you are looking for fun for a day, this would be a perfect water park for you.
But if you are looking for something very exciting, this may not be the best place for you.
There's a shuttle bus for a USD 20 parking pass. Not too far from the park.
We arrive at 1120, leaving around 1700. Save your favorite spot to the last could save your time on queuing.
The summer sale of USD 39.99 per person is a great deal.
I believe that the raging racer is the best facility for those who like exciting facilities and dislike queuing.

Group of 6 friends and I came on Father’s Day and it was -awesome- no long lines on any of the rides, we managed to do every single ride in the park. Snacks and stuff were pretty $$$ but that’s expected at any theme park. The wave pool had very small waves, but the lazy river was fantastic.

No outside food, coolers, or chairs allowed. But was fun! Great family environment. If you map your drive be sure to type " Raging waters parking" it will save you some miles!

Raging Waters Los Angeles deserves a resounding 5-star rating for its exhilarating water park experience. While the $50 preferred parking is optional, I highly recommend purchasing it for the convenience and ease it brings to the day. The thrilling water rides and attractions make a waterproof cellphone case an absolute must-have, allowing you to capture every exciting moment worry-free. However, finding available lunch tables can be a bit challenging as some visitors leave their belongings on them without renting lockers. Nevertheless, this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall enjoyment the park offers. While the $20 slush with one-time refill availability may not be the best value, the fun-filled activities and joyous atmosphere more than compensate for it. Raging Waters Los Angeles guarantees an unforgettable and splashing good time for everyone, making it an ideal destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.

We went to the water park . The service was good and the slides were fun. The lines were decent in length. At the worst it was a fifteen minute wait.
Biggest advise is to arrive before 10 in order to secure a table for your family.
Do be aware that they have college students as lifeguards and workers at the water park. They were very a good people and friendly .
We also had problems with the parking which will cost $25 . But the bus was so fast to pick up. The food was kind expensive and not every thing they have as cappuccino they don’t have….

Pros = This is the best water park in SoCal, lots of different slides for all ages, a good lazy river, big kids play area, decent food and amenities.
Cons = The $50 "Preferred" parking lot is bullshizzery! You used to be able park close to the entrance if you got there early for the standard fee, but now it doesn't matter, $25 puts in the overflow lots a mile away and you have to wait for a tram, the preferred was half empty all day, that sucks especially for people with little ones.
They also could use some more shade structures around the food area, standing in line for 30-45 minutes in direct sun is brutal at 90+.
A Ev — Google review
Unless you pay $50 bucks for preferred parking, the experience is terrible. Even though it’s no where close to being sold out the tram comes once every 20 minutes. It’s also not very well maintained, slides have holes, speakers are rusted.

Great place to keep Kool on a hot summer day but they have a lot of issues, one day they didn't have parking. It's a cashless park and their whole system was down not able to take payments at the front gate when purchasing tickets. Lines to purchase food can take up to a couple hours to get your food. They need to improve these things and the experience would be better.
Omar Valenciano — Google review
Very bad organization! There is not enough parking space for cars. very long queues for rides and for food. there is not enough space to put your things! no free tables to eat. if you bought a parking lot for $25, get ready to take a bus to the park and then back, there is a very long line back, so it's better to get out early. The food is not very tasty, it is better to take something with you
The Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda, California, showcases the life and legacy of former US President Richard Nixon through a variety of exhibits and attractions. The museum features over 70 displays that cover Nixon's presidency, including interactive experiences and multimedia presentations that delve into his policies as well as the infamous Watergate scandal.
Had a good time with the family here on a Sunday after 🎄🎅🤶. The intro video at the beginning was worth watching after you pay for admission 🎟️. Make sure you leave your pepper spray, guns🔫, and knives 🔪 at home. Price of admission was worth the value💲. The museum really highlighted the great things Nixon contributes to building America. Well balanced between his early childhood, law career, politics to his last days. Well organized. His childhood home 🏘️ tour was the highlight of his humble beginnings. Helicopter was not open. Had a few roses in bloom not too far from his tombstone and his wife's. Staff were very engaging and friendly. Glad the museum also highlighted some of the bombings that occurred in Cambodia. But, it did miss the amount of Khmer who suffered horrible amputations and death from US landmines and unexploded bombs. Approximately 2.8 tons of explosives 💣 we're dropped compared to 2 tons during WWII according to Bombs Over Cambodia 🇰🇭 by Taylor Owen and Ben Kiernan.

A tourist attraction in Yorba Linda worth a visit. The presidential libraries system is a nationwide network of 15 libraries administered by the Office of Presidential Libraries, which is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). These are repositories for preserving and making available the papers, records, collections and other historical materials of every president of the United States.
So at the Nixon library, there are exhibits showing the historical events during Nixon’s presidency. Nixon was credited for opening China. There is huge poster with life size bronze status of president Nixon and China’s then premier zhou shaking hand.
For those of you that are interested in finding out more about the Cold War, many unclassified documents disclosed a lot of interesting intense moments between Russia and the West.
Nixon’s presidential helicopter is also on display on the side yard of the library. It’s cool to see the inside of this flying machine. I thought it would be more plush.
It’s a bit of a drive for me to get there but it was worth it to visit at a piece of history in person.

Nixon life story with history of politics he was involved with.
From Nixon's childhood all the way to his final days.

Time helps us understand history. The Nixon Presidential Library helps us all put the past into perspective. The story of some of the most turbulent times in our Nation's history is very well told here.
Obviously Watergate, is told in detail, as are such milestones as the return of America's Vietnam POW's, the negotiated peace and exit from Vietnam, and Nixon's leadership in environmental and worker protection, and greater integration of our races and genders.
As a male born in 1972 I knew only part of the story. I knew each of the events but had never had their interconnections drawn. I failed to see the diplomat he was as a President and the elder statesman he had become after his Presidency.
I am so glad we came here. I would not recommend it for people under the age of about 15 because there is just a lot to absorb but I will definately be returning because there is still more for me to take in. The museum is very well curated and the docents are incredible.
Oh and where else can you sit behind the Presidents desk in an exact replica of the Oval Office?

A hidden gem! Who would've known Richard Nixon accomplished so much such as founding the EPA, signing the Clean Air and Water Act, and ending the Vietnam War! The list goes way beyond the three point I made. Before the museum I only knew Nixon for Watergate, afterwards, I know even more about Watergate, but I also know a lot of great things Nixon did. In my opinion, this is the most informative and opinion shifting presidential library. Showing both the malevolence and benevolence within Richard Nixon
Definitely recommend!

My second visit to a presidential library. Nixon's colorful history with his groundbreaking cultural diplomatic visit to China, ending the Vietnam War, and the infamous Watergate Scandal. Taking the opportunity to tour Nixon's childhood home on the library grounds, seeing a lifesize replica of the Presidential Oval Office, walking along the beautiful gardens, and immersing myself with the historical exhibits were great experiences. I admired how Nixon's demise with the Watergate scandal were presented in great detail and accuracy.

A very well-organized museum. It's quite enjoyable as it has extensive collection. If you did not know about the the Watergate, thus is the place to learn about it with multimedia experience. Recommended for students as they can look and feel 60&70 in a few hours.

I had wanted to see this library for years and I was favorably impressed. It would have been nice to be able to walk through Marine One, but just seeing it up close was an enjoyable first for me. The museum content seems to fairly reflect the good and the controversial, and like all presidential libraries, there is a LOT to take in, so allow plenty of time. Being able to engage with the surroundings of the Oval Office was also a nice first since usually you are only allowed to view this kind of political sacred ground from behind the velvet ropes.

Learn about President Richard Nixon as well as many other Presidents. Very spacious and wonderful exhibits. See the gardens, his original home he was born in and the two wings of the library. Beautiful and informative. Plan on spending 1.5 to 2.5 hours to get a look at all it has to offer.

My expectations were kind of low for this visit, but I came away feeling like this was a very worthwhile experience. My biggest concern was that the whole Watergate affair would be whitewashed or minimized. It wasn't. There is an entire room dedicated to the matter and his staff farewell address on a loop on one of the displays. I knew there was, what I assumed, was model of his boyhood home on the grounds. It's not a model, it's the actual home that his father built and the museum sits on the site of their orchard that was established in the early 1900's. A lot of the furnishings and accessories are also authentic as his mother had the wherewithal put their belongings in storage when the family relocated. They also have *the* helicopter that he boarded on the day he left the Whitehouse after the resignation.

Milhous was a dynamic leader whose accomplishments have been overshadowed by one moment in time. He provided consultation and advice to Reagan, both of the Bush's and Clinton. He is responsible for SSI, he funded the EEOC, he created OSHA and the EPA, he signed two landmark arms control treaties with the Soviet Union, he opened the world to China, he made the U. S. military a volunteer service, he oversaw the desegregation of southern schools, he gave native American's the right to tribal self determination and opened the door for women in collegiate sports by signing Title IX.

So nice to be able to go back post-covid and enjoy this great historic horse racing park. I miss the donuts at Clockers Corner, but I love the early AM, crusty old guys, pre-computer era clientele that embrace the beautiful patio at Clockers corner, mentally processing the days racing lineup with a paper program of the day. Sadly, I'm sure some patrons succumbed to the COVID pandemic, remember them in your thoughts and prayers when you come to the races. This property should be guarded with one's life, I'm sure land developers lick their chops over their visions. Great that it is in the Registry of Historic Places certification, so that it's presence will remain on Southern California soil permanently. Amen.

The building is quite old and full of history. I went on Saturday, and there were not many people. The interval between each horse race was too long, usually at least half an hour, and the longest was more than 1 hour and 10 minutes, and each horse race was only 1 minute. It was too long to wait.
I was there for 6 hours and only saw 7 races.
It's fun to bet on. Quite excited.

A vibrant place to be on a weekend with friends or family. Large racetrack and facilities with meaningful history. It’s just lovely to watch a horse race out here against the beautiful backdrop (and of course place bets if that’s your cup of tea). There were some food vendors but less than I was expecting. Plenty of seating/space both indoors and out. Some lingering cigarette smoke near the track so go further out for some fresh air. Lots of parking so just follow the signs. Loved all the little details like the trimmed trees and neatly arranged courtyards. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s a place to greet the horses too. Tickets are $10 for nonmembers going in to the club house, past the security check. Would recommend you check it out if you’re in the area!

I always have fun times at Santa Anita Park. It’s a great place to take friends, family, & out of town guest. There are some changes they made post covid. Food ordering is from a QR code & they bring the food to your table in bags. The staff is really helpful in telling you where things are. Bring cash if you want to bet on horses. Since my party got Silks seating the race program was free. Look over the race program before you bet because my party didn’t see the professional picks until we were about to leave. “Silks” is outdoors, but if you prefer indoor seating then checkout “Frontrunner” restaurant. If your debating between regular admission or getting a table, the tables are worth the $20. I’m not sure if it’s because post covid or because it was a rainy day, but the race track was not packed at all. I know years ago the race track would bring people from all over, but it looks like attendance is dwindling. Hopefully more people come out & support Santa Anita Race track. I have made wonderful memories with family & friends here. Hope to visit again soon. Parking is free.

The Los Angeles County Arboretum is a large botanical garden and arboretum located in Arcadia, California. It is one of the sister gardens of the Huntington Botanical Gardens. The gardens contain over 1,200 different types of plants from around the world, as well as many animal habitats. The grounds are sprawling and feature wandering peacocks and a Queen Anne cottage.
I have always liked the Arcadia Arboretum and especially the peacocks. Our son recently gave us a membership so that we can go year round. The grounds are great although it is a little early for the rose garden. Everything is in a great variety. The normal entry $15 charge is very reasonable and the memberships quickly pay for themselves.

I LOVE this arboretum! What a wonderful experience. And the little cafe is a great place to get a snack and a cup of coffee and watch the peacocks in the trees. Beautiful park crawling with wildlife and captivating natural views. I love the waterfalls and rose garden the most. It’s spring so the animals are very active at this time and love to get close up to you. Be prepared for a lot of walking and heat but it is a perfect outing for the entire family!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been back and they have a couple of changes. For starters, the entrance is being remodeled so you now enter in the middle of the parking lot area. There are also some green houses that I do not remember seeing 4 or 5 years ago. It’s pretty nice.
I bought tickets a month in advance and picked a later time in the day. I am glad because the weather ended up being pretty hot! Going at 4pm was still sweat-inducing and there isn’t much shade.
What hasn’t changed are all the peacocks that roam around, needing to watch the ground so you don’t step on poo, and the water fall is still one of the main attractions!
There is a nice view at the top of the waterfall of the tree tops and mountains.
Queen Anne’s cottage is being renovated right now but we did see a cute turtle roaming around on the grass freely.
Didn’t get to take the tram this time but the grounds are very expansive. Be prepared to walk a lot! Bring water! It’s fun to explore though.

The LA County Arboretum is such a nice place to visit anytime of the year. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the Arboretum is always immaculate while maintaining its natural beauty. I love going and just meandering through the different areas amongst the peacocks, Canada Geese and other critters. Besides the amazing collection of flora, there ponds, waterfalls, sculptures and historical buildings & more to enjoy. It is definitely someplace that distracts me into a calm and content state. There are lots of trees of all kinds, cactuses, maguey, etc.
Speaking of animals, we only saw ducks and peacocks.
$15 admission fee per adult (must be purchased online)
* we got to see a peacock pecking the front cars' tire, at the EXIT

We had our wedding here on 7/9/23 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful venue. We had our ceremony in the gazebo on the Event Lawn, and the reception at the Peacock Cafe. We were able to take beautiful photos all around the arboretum.
Carlos and Nicole who run the on-site Peacock Cafe also take care of weddings, and they were AMAZING! Carlos helped us set up all the logistics and made sure everything we wanted was able to happen. Nicole made us a completely vegan menu (dumpling-based buffet( that was DELICIOUS! She was lovely to work with and we couldn't believe this was her 2nd-ever vegan wedding. Everyone raved about the food!
Altogether we were so happy with our experience here. Carlos and Nicole are incredibly kind and are excellent at their jobs. They also helped us secure a wonderful DJ and helped us plan a beautiful wedding while staying in budget. The whole staff at the Arboretum made the night go amazingly smoothly. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Lovely gardens to wander around during the daytime. Plenty of things to see. Parking is free and can get kind of packed so getting here earlier is better. You can buy tickets online or at the door. The arboretum often hosts events like wedding pictures so you might come across a neatly dressed group. There are some nice themed gardens to walk through, and there is a variety of wildlife such as turtles, peacocks, and ducks to enjoy. It’s a big park and worth coming back again. If you’re grabbing a snack or a drink nearby this is the perfect afternoon detour. Definitely recommend!

Haven’t been here for a while. Redid the entrance area, looks nice. Came with friend to see the bonsai winter show. Amazing details in this art. It really is an act

Less expensive than the Huntington Gardens and so worthwhile! Fantastic wildlife, vista views, and beautifully landscaped lawns. The garden/lawn with native flora was stunning with all the blooming poppies. The parking was full when we arrived, but we found parking down a side street, accompanied by plenty of peacocks showing off. We did not buy tickets in advance, although you can if you like. Thank you, LA Arboretum - can’t wait to visit again!

My happy place. A large arboretum with a variety of plants from all over the world. Wonderful birds, including waterfowl, parrots, hummingbirds, and various migratory species. If you live nearby, the annual membership is a bargain and you can visit during extended hours.

Ummmm first time to this event and I don't feel the need to go again. The lights are okay the food area was yummy pricey but good food. It wasn't a smooth trail a lot of traffic just standing there waiting as people held up the line taking pics. One of the sides had technical issues the music turned off, I just had high expectations and was looking forward to this but I could of passed

We had a lovely 2 hour walk through the whole arboretum, taking our time. It has different sections with different types of plants, a coach barn, a beautiful home, and even an old train station (we unfortunately were too late for the museum). Very calm place. Saw plenty of peacocks, and they even hung out in the parking lot and the nearby neighborhoods. We bought our tickets online morning of but I'm not sure we even needed too. On a nice day, parking is a bit iffy. We had to drive around the lot a couple times and wait for someone to leave to get a spot.

Went to the Lightscape Reimagined 2023. First time seeing this type of special event. Had friends visiting from Toronto. Went to dinner across the street at the mall. A bit crowded. Use the shuttle to park at the mall side. Nice walk through lit displays of lights and music. Really enjoyed the slow walk.

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. There was no wait to get in 11am on a Saturday. Expect to do a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and bring water. So many places to sit in solitude and enjoy the scenery. We went during the Ikebana exhibit which displayed stunning Japanese floral sculptures. Don’t miss the Tropical Greenhouse or the Garden of Quiet Reflection.

If you’re into the outdoors or care about your mental health, you’ll appreciate the Los Angeles County Arboretum! There is much to see within the garden, including multiple paths, trails, bodies of water, water fountains, a waterfall, a greenhouse, an array of beautiful plants (tropical, native, and others), plenty of benches, old (historic) structures, wide open grassy areas (for children to run!), a cafe, three parking lots, and more! I know you’ll enjoy it!

This dinner theater puts on a fantastic show with pirates and Spanish ships as the stage. Families love playing pirate for the night and feast on a three-course meal while watching exciting visual effects take place. There are different shows around Halloween and Christmas, so make sure to check out Pirates Dinner Adventure!
Even better experience and show than previous. They have really stepped up their performance. The pirates all come out before the show for quite a while and they individually come out and interact with all the guests. It was great! It adds a personal aspect to the whole experience. Two of my kids were chosen to be part of the show and even I was selected by the captain to join in as well. It's very interactive. There are some pirates that are silly and crack lots of jokes. The food was great. Adults get a choice of either pork or chicken and they are both really good! The kids all get a hamburger, Mac and cheese, and seasoned mashed potatoes. The fountain drinks for kids and adults are bottomless and the dessert was a German chocolate cake. They ask about food allergies several times so that really shows me they're attentive to detail.

This was my first time there and I enjoyed the show. We had 4 adults and two 14 year olds in our party and they all liked the show as well. Good acting and physical entertainment. Everybody was friendly and the actors worked very hard to make sure we watched a good show. Very, very, kid friendly.

If you’re visiting the Buena Vista area in Cali, the Pirates Dinner Adventure is a must. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, especially the mashed potatoes.
The adventure portion of the evening was very entertaining, lively and interactive. Movement all around and above.
We had a blast and will revisit ❤️

Great opportunity to have fun with the kids or just go enjoy it yourself. The story was fun to watch and extremely entertaining! The service was great and the food was pretty good as well. I enjoyed sitting there and watching the acrobatics and sword play while the story plot was very easy to follow. I will definitely be back

This is a must do experience for grown ups and kids! We had a blast!
Things to expect
This is a very interactive experience! My whole party was asked to participate. My daughter held the flag, I walked with a treasure, and my husband was asked to raise a flag. The pirates also come out before the show and interact with the guests. The whole experience felt very personal and special.
There is literally no place to hang your purse. Mine had to go on the ground so I would suggest not bringing a purse if you don't want anyone stepping on it.
The food was beyond gross. We had the chicken and it was okay. The mashed potatoes were just yuck. I didn't even try the vegetables. The drinks are bottomless and make sure you carry cash to tip your server.
Seating
We sat in the orange section. The view was great. I would say the worst sections are blue and green.
Groupon had a great discount. I would order tickets thru them and save some money.
We had such a great time. I would definitely go back and do it all over again!

We came for my son’s birthday and my whole family had a great time. The show was awesome, the crowd involvement is so much fun and the food is good.
My major complaint is that the food portion for kids is way too small. I have three boys and all of them were still hungry after the meal. The main item of the kids meal is a slider the size of the palm of your hand. Unless the child is 6 or under there is no way it’s enough food for them.

Show was fun, but yesterday when we were there it took over an hour to get our drinks, food came first. I paid extra for the Caribbean beef, it was tiny, cold and tough. I needed to be able to wash it down but had no drink. When our soda finally arrived it was flat with no carbonation. We asked for water and she never came back. Made a fun experience awful.

We attended on Dec. 23rd and they had a Christmas show on with Santa, Mrs. Claus and a fairy. There was no disclaimer when we bought the tickets. As cute as it was to see an acrobatic fairy for 15 minutes we were there see PIRATES sword fighting each other with water blasting and a fire 🔥 show. That's what we were expecting and feel we were robbed from that. The Santa show got pretty boring quick. 😴 not impressed at all with the "show". Food was delicious and tasty. Server was nice and friendly but was MIA a lot. I had to ask other servers to send my server over 3 different times. 🙃 very disappointed with this pirate show. ☠️

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Pirates Show in Buena Park and I must say it was an absolute blast! This show is truly a fantastic way to spend an entertaining evening with family and friends. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we were transported into a world of swashbuckling adventure and excitement.
The show itself was incredibly fun and amusing. The talented performers truly brought the pirate theme to life with their energetic and captivating performances. The acrobatics, stunts, and sword fights had us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire show. It was a truly immersive experience that left us in awe.
Not only was the show a hit, but the food offered during the performance was delicious. We had the opportunity to enjoy a scrumptious meal while being entertained. The menu offered a variety of options, catering to different dietary preferences, and everything was prepared with great care. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was top-notch.
Furthermore, the service provided was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with any needs or inquiries we had. They ensured that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable, providing a seamless evening of entertainment and relaxation.
Overall, the Pirates Show in Buena Park is a must-visit for families looking to have a night of fun and adventure. The combination of the spectacular live show, delicious food, and excellent service make it a memorable experience for all. I highly recommend adding this show to your list of family-friendly activities in Buena Park; it is an absolute treasure!

Best evening entertainment I could ever anticipate. I purchase my ticket online and got the onion rings also turkey leg with mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. Be cautious, it’s real big and juicy I couldn’t even finish it all. But the free chocolate dessert was not bad at all, I enjoyed cheering on my green pirate winning over the mermaid’s favor!

5⭐ for the performers/show! Drop to 3 because of food. Our first time. Try Groupon or another discount first! No one said anything about paid parking (when made reservations or called to ask a Q).Didn't see it mentioned on tickets either. $8 to park in their lot!!! So didn't bother buying a pre-drink as intended, out of principle. $8 is nuts on top of tickets. We did get a drink for our Goddaughter, it was her bday. And the bartender gave for free for her bday. So THAT was great! 5⭐ bartender! Gift shop n small bar area beforehand. Then high ceiling room, before enter show area, and it's decorated great! Fun pics. We went for afternoon show so not crowded at all. We got front row seats. Ok con FOOD. Choice was chicken or pork. We all picked chicken. U get salad or soup to start. Salad was iceberg, mostly all the white end parts. So blah. Then chicken, mashed potatoes n veggies (squash n carrots) of the 3 of our chickens only one was cooked decent. My piece was super small n dry. Husbands was decent sized but also dry. Her's was decent size n less dry. Super disappointed. Cake was ok. You can pay extra for various appetizers n of course alcohol drinks. We didn't bother. As soon as you sit pirates are coming up to you. We each were asked to participate. If you get asked do it... have fun! They want you to cheer loud for your pirate/section. The singing was amazing! The stunts/fighting etc was GREAT again 5⭐ worth the show part! Next time I might eat first

This was a very unique experience. Went with my daughter and parents, we all had a great time. We attended the halloween show, so the entire place was decorated in the Halloween theme. Getting there an hour before show time is a good idea as they have a full bar, souvenir store and a counter that sells replica swords from popular movies. The show arena is large and you are seated in color themed groups with your own pirate to cheer for, much like medieval times. The stage is a large ship, so if you are in just the right spot, a ship maste may block your view of some performances. The food is good, not fancy gourmet, but a decent meal; upgrades are available. Servers check on you regularly and bring drinks from the bar for you. Over all we had a really good time and plan to attend again in the future.

Cast:
The cast is very good at interacting with the children and the rest of the audience. They definitely work for their money.
The cast was amazing and very attentive with the children. I applaud them. They make they provided special attention that was much needed at the end of the show for a child who was non verbal. Especially the blue pirate that played Ben. I really appreciate it. They definitely deserve a raise. We were able to meet everyone after except her favorite character the princess unfortunately she wasn't able to be seen after the show.
Check in:
Check in before the show starts. They'll give you your seating areas, what group you'll be in, groups are based on pirates colors. If you pay for a package you'll receive a colored flag for your team and colored necklace (It just looks like Mardi gras beads). You can also pay for your parking at The check-in window. You can your upgrade your package at the window and had things.
*If you book over the phone for your reservation they charge you have the price on the phone and the other half at check in.
Food:
The food wasn't good (Yuck), but salt and pepper is at the table which helps a tad. But I'm surprised because before COVID you received more food and way better tasting food. Idk what happened. But if the food tastes gross again I'm bringing purse snacks, lol. Sorry but it's true.
For people who don't know they give you an adult option of food or a child's meal for children. They give you dessert I believe if you pay for the dessert with your package. I might be wrong. But they gave us this chocolate cake like thing. It was cold. It had like a glaze icing light brown kind of coconut flavor thing on top. That's how I feel like it taste. I may be wrong.
Parking:
Plenty of parking. Paid parking. $1 less if you pay in advance.
Birthday's:
I believe you have to make a reservation.
Birthday person gets in free on their birthday month.
But there's other fees for additional bday stuff.
Bathrooms:
Clean
Bar:
There's a bar inside when you walk in. And someone comes to your seating area and provide you the opportunity to order drinks through them. I don't drink alcohol so I can't say what the drinks tastes like.
Gift shop:
They have lots of items you can buy there for souvenirs or gifts. Pirate, princess and mermaid items.
Face painting:
There is a face painting area at the lady's really nice. If it's your birthday you get one free face painting. That's what's going on now I don't know how long that will last.
Photo booth: not photo booth per se but when you walk in they take a picture of you and your group. You can pay for the photo and I come around you're seating area. Two photos was around $42+ and three photos was around $62 +. Have to show you're also welcome to take pictures with the cast with your own phone behind the face painting area.
The front door staff is boring and dry but once you get in there after the photo it's fun and the vibes start up.
I think that's it. I hope this is helpful.

Love the set and actors. Actors did their job well and professionally. Now little issues with the show, there long and because they try to involve audiences it was hard to follow the story or what they are trying to do. However, awesome effort, when someone new comes visit , it will be one of the spots to visit. Oh, food was ok, don't get the chicken.

If you’re looking for a fun experience, go across the parking lot to medieval times. The performance is less corny, the waiting area and gift shop area and bar are better. This kind of seems like a crammed little tiny building with acting that is so over the top you kind of just wanna leave because it’s not good. Food was ok.
This dinner theater in Anaheim presents a unique and exciting show where knights battle it out for prestige and honor. Guests can enjoy an unusual and unique experience as they feast on a four-course meal served in a castle-like setting.
Once in a life time experience, upgrade to VIP for 20 dollars more You are able to sit 3rd row, have your name announced, and are provided with a group photo, which would cost the 20 dollars, if you were to buy it there anyways. This performance is outstanding. The food is not great, but the ambiance makes up for it. Please take your children to experience this at least once. I believe ages 7 and up would enjoy it the most.

Amazing staff. Amazing performance. I absolutely loved it here. They did an amazing job making me feel welcomed and safe. The food was not nearly as bad as some people say. The characters/performers were professional and despite some hard questions they remained in character and answered honestly. The show was really fun and exciting to watch and we got to cheer our knight. Our group was the yellow group and it looked best and gentle to the eye; thanks God that we were not in the red light.
Luckily, our knight was the best one; he was acting very well, charming and frequently interacting with his audience group. I felt like we were in the ancient movies.
The server was attentive and nice (and you're gonna be expected to tip quite generous for this service)
Food was a lot but so bad to our taste, it was below average in our opinions. We had plenty of leftovers. Our server gave us two big boxes for to go but we did not bring home any 'cause we had no appetite to eat it again. However, we liked the lemonade juice, it tasted refreshed and tasty.
I like how they decorated their building and looking at my posted pictures and videos here you can tell the ambiance looks really beautiful and cool.
Parking was plentiful.
Something we noticed at the entrance was the strike. The previous actors there were on strikes trying to tell other people that their ex-employer abused them and all the horses. Not sure if it's true or not but we could see how sad and depressed the horses looked. We enjoyed the show but also felt bad afterwards.

Amazing dinner and show! Everyone stays in character the whole time and really give you an experience of a lifetime! The dinner is served while watching the show. They have a few accommodations for meals and seating. Before the show, you can walk around, buy stuff from their many counters of trinkets, Enjoy a beverage or two from the bars, see the horses, possibly meet the royal family! I know with Covid, things have changed a little, but they make the experience great any way.

For the performance, I give it a five, for the food a 4.5.
The performance was amazing. Lots of interaction and sword fights and audience participation. Definitely a lot of jokes given from the queen and her right hand man especially about the “oranges…who doesn’t bring oranges” had me laughing!
The horses were beautiful and be sure at the end of the show you go to the right of the exit and you can look through protected class them. The knights do engage well with the audience, and the harder cheer the more your knight fights for you. Be prepared next day to be a little horse. No pun intended.
As for the food, it was definitely an experience as you dive into the theme. The chicken was a bit dry, but the potatoes and corn were great. And the soup was a great starter; be sure to let it cool it comes out super hot. You do eat with your hands so be prepared, you can ask for a fork if you wish.
I will definitely go back to Buena Park location, it’s definitely my first time going to this type of show and although it’s more focused towards the kids and family; it’s fun for all ages. Loved it!

I recently went to Medieval Times with a group of friends and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The show was spectacular, full of action-packed jousts, sword fights, and amazing horsemanship. It was an incredible experience to see knights in full armor compete with each other on horses.
The venue itself is also a great place to celebrate a birthday party. The atmosphere was festive and lively, with a great sense of camaraderie from all the guests. The staff were helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed.
While the food was okay, it was still a fun experience to eat with our hands like they did in medieval times. We all enjoyed the chicken, potatoes, and soup.

First time seeing the Medieval Times and it did not disappoint. I came here for the experience so I didn’t really expect much for the food. The food was filling. Soup was cold, Chicken didn’t have any flavor but huge, corn tasted good and dessert was great. Your meal comes with fountain drinks or water. They also sell other drinks. The drinks were good but a little pricey. The show itself was entertaining. Family friendly. Kid friendly. It was a bit too scripted but overall, a great experience. There were ample of free parking spots. They sell souvenirs and you also get to meet the cast and take photo ops after the show. I am aware about the strike and I hope they get to settle it. Also, it is unfortunate that the horses are tied up and crumpled up in a small space. Other than that, it was okay.

Second time here and I absolutely love the place! I go during summer camp field trips in a nearby city so the experience is different than most. You have no food selection but just what they gave you which is some really really dry and unseasoned chicken that me and my family didn't much enjoy. Half of the baked potato was decent. Red apple had something off about it on the taste I can't describe. Garlic bread was sooo soft and good! Grandma's sealed cookie bags were great! And a regular water bottle. Entertainment was AMAZING!!! 10/10!!! Staff was really friendly & helpful 10/10!! Really just the food that we couldn't change. . . 2 of my family members starved the whole trip due to refusing to eat the food that was provided.

Plan to eat with your hands! In medieval times, they didn't have forks and steak knives. The food was pretty good! Roasted Dragon (tastes like half a chicken), corn on the cob and tasty roasted potato...no variations unless you let them know you don't eat meat or have allergies.
It's a visually beautiful, authentic experience with a powerful queen and some gorgeous horsemanship. Turns grown men into 9 year boys. Very fun to experience. We upgraded to VIP and were glad we did for photo taking.

Came here to celebrate kids bdays. They had a blast. Our waitress role played with them and they believed they were eating baby dragons. Adults loved the horses. The place was surprisingly clean and not dusty. I expected to smell the animals but it was very minimal. We will definitely bring the kids back. Only complaint was the bathroom. They smelled strong of urine and there only seemed to be one.

I thought this was a FANTASTIC show!!! I really loved how they interacted with the crowd and how the moment you enter MT, they would immerse you from that era! I thought everyone was great and treated us well!
There are lots of souvenirs to choose from and at the end of the show, the cast will come out for a photo shoot! I would watch this a second time!
*An important note that the price you pay to enter does NOT include gratuity. And from what my family has experienced, the servers worked very hard! So please don't forget to show your appreciation which can either be done by cash or through Venmo, which the server will provide at the end.
Thank you MT for making it so much enjoyable for my family!

Great place for the family. Fun filled, action packed experience. Great example of dinner and a show. Food was really good, really not much of a selection, what they serve is really the only thing you get. But it's a lot of fun for everyone. I booked general admission tickets for a party of 12 for my kid's 18th birthday. Always wanted to go & check it out. It was a good experience. The food was decent, you get a soup and bread ( which our bread came out about 45 minutes after the soup ) you get the main meal ( we got chicken, a potato and corn ) which was good! Especially the potato! Drinks which one of my kids didn't gets hers for a good 45 minutes. Coffee and dessert. Which was also good. The server we had was very slow or maybe just overly busy but our food came out slow. We were given a piece at a time and it would take 15 to 20 minutes just to get the next piece...I prefer to eat my food all together. As expected the extras are pricey. No matter where you sit you have a great view. The show was awesome and horses are beautiful. All in all, I would probably return.
