This was an overall good experience. I went with friends and being there with them made it awesome.
Thinking objectively about the festival itself, though, I don’t think it was worth the ticket price. It’s marketed as a permanent village, which to me made it seem like there would be good, well-made structures there when in reality, much of it looks like thin pieces of old wood nailed together to make ramshackle buildings. Colors are faded on flags and tapestries. The benches are warped and have green things growing on them. The paths are gravel. Shouldn’t it be packed dirt? There wasn’t gravel back then.
There was a lot less period-accurate things happening than I expected. For one, there were loud speakers and microphones used, which I was disappointed by. Shows talked big but did little—passionate people without the talent to back it up. Songs were present-day and sung badly over and over. One woman used a terrible British accent as entertainment. The energy from some was still good and helped make the shows, but I’d say it’s probably more kid-level than an adult would enjoy, yet some of the jokes made aren’t great for kids so there’s an imbalance there. But kids wouldn’t notice the poor performances as well.
The food and drinks are over-priced but that’s to be expected at such an event. I thought it was weird that you could buy pizza and Whiteclaw at a Renaissance festival; this was my first time going and I expected it to be more period-accurate. I did see turkey legs and a sign for mead, but I think the mead was just beer.
It was hard to book it over to shows we wanted to see, too. A bit of a confusing layout and the times weren’t conducive to being able to see one show and then another right after in time. Like the jousting only lasted like 10-15 minutes, so if you were coming from something else, you miss it before you can even arrive. :/
Kids’ rides were super expensive—$4/ride on a rickety-looking old wooden slide? No! 😆
On the other hand, the kettle corn was really good and only $3 for a small, but it was huge! The best value of the whole place. And some people who attended had really beautiful costumes and makeup. That wasn’t thanks to the actual festival or ticket money spent, but it was cool to see.

The Holiday Yuletide Village was beautiful. The shops were transformed to showcase holiday-themed gifts while keeping the renaissance festival alive. We enjoyed walking amongst the lights and characters in the park. The weather was a bit cool so it was nice to spend some time near the many fire pits they had set up. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

A great way to spend the day with family! $23 for admission but there are tons of shows and activities to keep you busy for the day. Lots of different food options available as well as beer. Parking is $3 so be sure to bring some cash.

This place is awesome. The ambience is perfect. I would.suggest dressing up if you have the money too. Definitely get a turkey leg and a mug of beer.

We enjoyed the outdoor Holiday festival before it got too cold out, thankfully! The food was delicious. The characters never disappoint. They have hot chocolate and coffee and you can add some yummy adult beverages to add to it.
Nicole Lewe — Google review
Such a fun place and lots to do and see. I definitely recommend bringing plenty of cash for food and parking and for the games. Great food and always love watching the joust. Get there early to avoid crowds and traffic!
Elizabeth W — Google review
Always have a blast. The faire runs for all of September and October and they are bringing back the Yuletide in December. Tons of interesting items to look at. Great shows with incredibly talented people. We always have fun. It is crowded and lines for food can be long. Grab something to eat before noon or later in the day.
H Barnhorn — Google review
This was my first year attending and I fell in love! The atmosphere is unlike any other. I'd compare the vibe to one similar of a music festival. People were so dedicated to their character. The performers were amazing on and off stage. Food was delicious!
Kristina Angel — Google review
Was super excited to attend the festival for the first time ever! I got my boyfriend and myself tickets for his birthday and we headed to the festival. It took us an hour to get to the entrance when we were 1.5miles away. The park was over crowded and it was very hard to enjoy the activities. I think I would have loved the festivities if there were about half the amount of people there. The large crowds made it hard to see shows and shop at the vendors. The food lines were really long. When we finally tried to leave at 5:50 it took us over 4 hours to get out of the parking lot. I can’t believe we spent so much time dealing with the parking and so little time inside the cramped faire. Not sure if I will ever return and this experience definitely put a damper on my boyfriends birthday present. I couldn’t help but think of the safety of everyone crammed in there if there had been an emergency. Thank goodness mostly everyone left safely- albeit certainly SLOWLY. Please do better in the next years.
kassiwassie — Google review
The Renaissance Festival was an awesome experience! The tickets are pricey but the amount of entertainment you get throughout the day makes it worth it. There's all kinds of shows, vendors, and food throughout the park and it really makes you feel like you've time traveled. The park is so big we didn't even see everything in the 4+ hours we were there. I've been inspired to dress up next time!

First times joined this event on September and absolutely love it... I felt like going back to my childhood used the blanket to made the princess customes... I feel I be younger...
I heard before they dressed up renaissance custome but now we can dress up more than that and no one judge us...
There was many games and show to enjoy and laugh and relieve your stress.
You can buy your custome here I saw they are really high quality outfits. Also have many interesting souvenir stores. The most my favorite store was insense store... the staffs there they very friendly and patient with my barry language
Thanks for create this wonderful event ...love you guys and can wait for next season !

We don’t have anything like this in Ireland. I absolutely loved it. Its great fun dressing up and going along. Some of the people there dressed up are really committed and their costumes look like something from Game of Thrones and Lord of the rings. Its unreal. The atmosphere of the whole place is wonderful. Its crazy its like being transformed back in time once you walk through the gates. The shows are really entertaining. The shops have weird and wonderful stuff. The food and drinks are renaissance inspired. Great play areas for kids. Jousting is the main event and is good fun to watch.
Grainne Holo — Google review
Extremely well-organized event. Renaissance Fair had wide open and plentiful parking and easy exit. Clean grounds, can walk through it in an hour, add time if you stop in the shops and lines and shows of course.

Wonderful. Amazing shows, amazing atmosphere, can't say enough good things about it. Their Yuletide Village was also extremely fun! They need to do more advertising for it so more people can experience it.

Miamisburg Mound Park
Park
Sights & Landmarks
37-acre park with Ohio's largest prehistoric burial mound, an observation platform & picnic tables.
This is pretty cool. The mound itself is not quite as big as I thought it would be but I appreciate that they are trying to keep native plantings on it and weed out invasive species. There are a lot of carpenter bees right now in the spring, but at least they don't sting. The mound *does* feel bigger when you walk up the steps and see the view from the top! I'm glad there are several benches at the top to sit for a bit.
Otherwise, the rest of the park is a nice recreational park with picnic areas, a big party pavilion, bathrooms, etc. Great place for a birthday party, a picnic, or to take the dog out. It's right next to the golf course too.
Sara Beth Wade — Google review
The park was really nice and well kept. We were there to watch this year's eclipse so it definitely got crowded but it was a good place to just hang out. There are two parks for young kids to play on and plenty of room to run around. I recommend going when you have time!
Megan Wampler — Google review
Interesting place.
This burial mound is 2500 years old! Not even the Native Americans knew who build it so archaeologist made up a name for the prehistoric civilization that inhabited the area at the time, the Adena civilization. They had Ohio as their main place and many more of these mounds & artifacts can be found throughout the state.
Also I should note that when we were driving here the GPS compass started acting up. Strange magnetic field in the area. Pretty cool.

The Miamisburg Mound Park is not only a historical gem, but also a breathtaking location for those who seek scenic views and a sense of adventure. Standing atop the mount, one can truly appreciate the vastness of the surrounding landscape, with views stretching out into the distant town, city and forest. The cool wind and the sound of the gusts add to the awe-inspiring experience, making this park a must-visit destination. Imagine the magic of standing atop the mount at night, taking in the starry skies and the twinkling lights of the town below. This park is a perfect place for a family picnic, a leisurely walk or a romantic date, and will leave a lasting impression on all who visit.

Awesome piece of history with spectacular views of the surrounding area. There are signs that tell the story behind this park.

Great way to get in some fun exercise! And the view is amazing, can see so far! Has a play ground too.
Brandi Gray — Google review
Historic native American mound. Fun to walk up and great view of the town. Small history display with some historical info.
Jeremiah Burgess — Google review
This was an amazing place to visit, glad they made this into a park instead of building on it or destroying it for the sake of archeology. These mounds should be saved as a sacred place. The view from the top is amazing! If you have trouble walking or breathing like I do, just take your time, I had to stop like 4 or 5 times to get there but it was worth it.
Lisa Muncy — Google review
Keep in mind that the mound is a burial site and be respectful. The mound itself is beautiful and once reaching the top, you are rewarded by a scenic view of the surrounding flat landscape below. There are informative educational signs at the park that will give you an idea of the history of the mound and State Memorial. Worth visiting for those who are interested in the mounds and earthworks of Ohio.

Great place to go to get a view of the surrounding area. There's a lot of stairs, so you will get a workout in. Be careful because the stairs are a little uneven. There is a park, shelter and bathrooms also.

Cool place to stop. Great views. Interpretive signs are pretty good at telling the story of this place. Could use more info about the natives that occupied this place in the past.

I climbed the Miamisburg Mound today. My first time here. I made it to the top. Terrific views go on for miles. Free to visit and climb!!
Jay Biddle — Google review
This is a very interesting park to go to. Not many people know about this location. Just for the fun of it, I counted 116 steps so it is quite a workout getting to the top. The view from the top however makes it very much worth it.
Tip: bring a camera to capture the views from the top! It can also be rather windy at the top.
Tropical-themed water park with white sand & palm trees, slides, rides, play areas & an arcade.
This is the best waterpark I've ever been to plz open it back up I especially love the big red slide
Panda Honthy — Google review
Myself and my son really enjoyed this place! I didn't find out about it until this year but wanted to explore new places with my son...the slides were great...very friendly except one employee at the food staff was super rude! Also, they do need to constantly clean up the leaves in the lazy river. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves for 2 days straight at this park! We will be going back!

Went there two to three times. The grandkids and I loved it a great place for the family to have fun together.

Amazing place! Great service!
Ben Terribilini — Google review
Lazy river is filthy, many slides have nearly no water pressure, people get stuck on many of the slides and have to scoot down. Water is dirty in some of the pools, and the staff is very rude and doesn't seem to care about anything. We complained to the staff about all of this and no one cared. Food is bad and overpriced. The bathrooms are also disgusting. The only decent thing we experienced was the wave pool. It's a shame the park is so poorly maintained because it's such a neat location among all the trees and it used to be so nice. But it has just gone downhill. Some of the things I can easily overlook, but the lack of water pressure on the slides is really the deal breaker. And I have seen many other reviews commenting about the same issue.
Ben Moore — Google review
Labor Day was the perfect day to go and they honored my Groupon that excluded that holiday. I really wish there were more umbrellas by the wave pool and a cleaner Lazy River.
Rose West — Google review
About half the rides were shut down because they didn't have the staff to man them. 6 of 7 ticket counters were closed, so a long line at the one open counter. Same story at the concession stands - long lines and not enough help. The rides that were open were fun, but since everyone was crowded onto the few open rides, again, long lines.
The place could be nice, but it has a tired, worn look and wasn't very clean. Not enough shade, not enough chairs or tables. I suppose they wanted us to put all of our stuff in one of their $15.00 lockers. The $10.00 parking charge was another unpleasant surprise. The rides all posted 250-pound weight limits for riders, but this was never enforced, raising questions about this establishment's safety culture.
XingjianR — Google review
This is our new favorite water park! The prices were reasonable from tickets to food. The park was extremely clean, lifeguards were attentive, and the setting was so nicely done intertwined with nature. I have a teen down to a 5yr old and they all had a blast at this park! My favorite part was that it was not busy. I am tired of paying a fortune to wait in line all day and receive poor customer service like other larger water parks. This was unforgettable and we will be back!
Megan Block — Google review
While the rides that were open were fun, there were a significant number of slides that were closed that poorly reflected the park on a day that a lot of new people would come (a carload of people for $50 after 4 pm). When all of the slides are open, I imagine that the park is much more appealing and operates a lot more smoothly especially if the park is fully staffed. If you go, don't expect for all of the slides to be open.
Zach Filla — Google review
Great staff, friendly people, and Live Reggae on Sundays keep me coming back. Season Passes are reasonably priced..and there's beer! :-)
I've been coming for years and have made several longtime Friends as a result of my visits there.
There's a kiddie section for the little ones and plenty to do for everyone else. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Gregory Marshall — Google review
No ATM on site. Bathrooms were gross. So understaffed that half the slides were closed.
I bought a voucher online expecting to skip the line, nope. Had to stand in a 30 person line to go through ticket office for entry.
That said, my family had fun on what was available to ride. There aren't too many steps for the slides and the wait times were typically less than 10-15 minutes. The treads of the steps, however, were in heavy disrepair and will incinerate your feet if they have been in direct sunlight. We had a breezy, slightly cloudy day when we went so it was mixed bag of cool to the touch and volcanic fire.
Other than general refurbishment and limited slide availability, we would still go back and do it again.
Ted Hettel — Google review
It was a fun place to go BUT.... was VERY Disappointed when you couldn't bring in any kind of snack or drink. They only let you bring in a bottle of water. We had to go out to the parking lot to eat our snacks. In my opinion that is a CRAZY rule. They only offer pop, slushie, beer, mix drinks, tea. Which I don't drink. It was an extremely hot day and all I wanted was water. There pop cup is $10😳 X 3kids and $1 for refills. CRAZY. $20 FOR SENIORS (seriously) to get in the park. My daughter did get tickets cheaper on Groupon for her 3 girls and herself.
Tamie Liebnau — Google review
Opening day here and the water is full of debris. Yuck. The pearl pool is supposed to be warm and it's not. This place is showing its age. Regretting not getting a Kings Island season pass instead.
Karen DeHart — Google review
It was nice. We went today, on a nice cool Wednesday. Not busy at all. Price was great. Food was priced well. The employees were nice. The pools did have some debris but there are lots of trees for shade so it's understandable the wind would blow leaves into the pool as quickly as they were cleaning them. I would give it a higher rating but they don't have any pads or tampons for women in the bathrooms.
Cari M — Google review
Awesome place, perfect for family time, a lot of water slides...
Kings Island is a vast amusement park with thrilling rides, including roller coasters and a wave pool. The park features a lifelike exhibit of dinosaurs that adds to the excitement. Along with restaurants, shops and novelties, Kings Island offers seasonal celebrations such as Halloween haunt and winter fest. With their 50th anniversary, they have added new attractions which makes it an exciting experience for visitors of all ages.
I've been to Kings Island several since I was young. I have always enjoyed it. There is literally a small community here of restaurants, shops and novelties. The rides are exceptional. They have even seemed to add a few new ones since my last visit. Their seasonal celebrations keep things fresh through the year. The family looks forward to their Halloween haunt and winter fest in the off season. We decided to get the gold pass this year considering it's their 50th anniversary. So far we are not disappointed. A large section of the park dedicated to the younger kids will help us get our money's worth. Especially with summer coming up we are really looking forward to the water park.
Dusty Sands — Google review
Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.
Jon Key — Google review
It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time.
I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery.
For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusement park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

King's Island is an incredible amusement park in Cincinnati! It offers a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions that cater to all ages. The park is well-maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The variety of roller coasters at King's Island is impressive. From the exhilarating drops and twists of the Beast and Diamondback to the fast-paced thrills of Banshee and Mystic Timbers, there's a coaster for every thrill-seeker. The rides are well-designed and provide an unforgettable adrenaline rush.
In addition to the coasters, King's Island offers a great selection of other attractions. The water park, Soak City, is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The live entertainment shows are entertaining and add to the overall fun atmosphere of the park.
The dining options at King's Island are diverse and tasty. From classic amusement park fare like funnel cakes and hot dogs to more diverse options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food available.
One of the highlights of King's Island is the Eiffel Tower replica, which provides stunning panoramic views of the park. It's a great spot to take memorable photos and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.
Overall, King's Island is a top-notch amusement park with thrilling rides, friendly staff, and a great selection of dining options. Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or looking for family-friendly fun, this park has it all. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of adventure!

One of the best amusement parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! You will not be disappointed and have a blast!

First time at King’s Island! There was always an allure to the park when I would drive past it on 71. I got to go during the Christmas Lights, so a couple rides were open but most of the big ones were shut down. Still a great time! Did bumper cars, ate some carnival food, rode the alien ride, got some great photos. A great day full of great memories. My heart will always be with Cedar Point (my first love) but I’m excited to come back to King’s Island in the summer.
Collin Marshall — Google review
I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Love this amusement park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

Kings Island was extremely fun! Definitely come earlier in the day to make your moneys worth because it can get pretty expensive. I loved all the rides I went on. Diamondback and Orion had huge drops that had me holding on for dear life and personally, the scariest ones for me were Flight over Fear and the Banshee. Food options over at Kings Island were also good and there was a good amount of scary and fun rides. If you want a relaxing but also thrilling ride, I definitely recommend Whitewater Canyon, it was personally one of my favorites.

This is a really nice amusement park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby.
The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀
The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀
Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide.
We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

This place is awesome! Kings island is the third best theme park I’ve ever gone to (first is Epcot, and second is magic kingdom). I’m a chicken on coasters, and the beast, mystic timbers, and backlot stunt coaster is the best. As a Cincinnati local, it is always nice to go up to ki for a couple hours to ride the beast and leave. Worth the money every time.

Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!
Frank Baker — Google review
We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

Winterfest 2023. Great time, they claim to have 7 million lights this year and I believe them. Many different themed branches of the park with lights on every surface. The parade was a blast for all ages and really brought out the Christmas spirit in everyone. Only downside would be the lack of rides but I was fine with not getting frostbite from the Orion.
Steven Hoover — Google review
Pretty fun amusement park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

It's a really good amusement park. It's well-staffed, with washrooms nearby and food options available at most corners, although the food prices are a bit high, as expected. The parking lot is quite spacious. I particularly enjoyed the Mystic Timbers ride as it's pretty fast.
This castle, built in the '20s, features an extensive sword collection & riverside picnic areas.
This was truly a very unique place to visit. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers. Couldn't explore all of it due to renovations happening right now. Still yet, very glad to have had the chance to see this place.

Fun little spot to visit. It was made by hand. It's a great story... Google it. :) The grounds are beautiful. There are steep steps. Definitely not ADA friendly. It's only $5 for entry. It doesn't take long to walk through and there's a small gift shop. If you're in Loveland, OH, it's definitely worth visiting.

This was a cool little stop I discovered using the Roadtrippers app. It was a fun place to visit, and I would recommend friends and family to visit if passing through. While the castle is very unique, it's more so the story of how it was made that makes it beautiful.
When you visit make sure to stop in the room with the video explaining how and why the castle came to be, and all of the love and effort put into it, and some background on the Knights of the Golden Trail.
When you come to visit, be careful driving down the road leading to the entrance as it is a steep slope and a very sharp curve. There are some picnic tables down by the river below the castle if you make this a scenic rest stop on your travels.

Amazing castle hidden away. The venue is more about the guy who built it than medieval history, which is fine. It's mind boggling imagining the work that went into it.

Another stop in our perfect day!! We explored the castle and grounds. Our 8yr old twins had so much fun!!
We loved the story and architecture.
We notice the love and care that goes into it's upkeep.
The spy holes and the meticulous artistry were my favorite!
See for yourself with the attached pics! There are also picnic tables if you pack a lunch.

A beautiful castle with a good story and museum to explore, beautiful spot to take some pictures. Castle is surrounded by little yet pleasant garden. A perfect two hour getaway with minimum entry fee!

Sir Harry Delos Andrews built this castle and lived here too. It was interesting to hear his story and see the castle. It’s a self guided tour so you can spend as much time as you like walking through and around the grounds. The flowers were beautiful. The top level is being renovated but you can still go up the spiral staircase and take a peek at it. I enjoyed seeing the video interview of him speaking and telling stories. What a interesting life! If you see men walking around with orange shirts on those are the knights that still take care of the castle and grounds. The cost of $5 for adults is very reasonable and I was there about a hour and a half and took in everything! I got there right when they opened on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy at all. If your in the area go check it out!!

Be sure to watch the videos that give the history of Sir Harry Andrews, the man who built Loveland Castle.
There is a room to the right of the main entrance that runs videos on a loop.
Anyone who has interest in the Renaissance would enjoy touring this one of a kind castle.
It is self guided so you can spend as much or little time as you wish.
Those keeping the castle open to the public are doing a good job. Admission is only $5.00, Children under 5 are free.

Only $5 per person to walk through. It doesn't take long to walk through. A lot of rooms are blocked off and you can't get to the roof. We enjoyed our short visit. It's definitely a place you go to only once in your life. I don't see myself ever going back. Nonetheless, uts interesting that he built the castle.
The sword room was neat and some.of the other collectibles we nice to look at.

Easily one of the neatest places that I've ever been. Full of history, every person representing the castle was very knowledgeable and helpful. Went with my daughter's as part of our New Years pact-go somewhere new once a month- worthy of the 4 1/2 hr drive! Even more amazing- that it was the life's work of a single man! Took about an hour to wander around inside and around the grounds and take tons of pictures 🙂

This place was such a small gem I found by chance! Imagine this - a castle built singlehandedly by one man in the 20th century who wanted a castle for him and his group of friends- *ahem* excuse me, his Knights of the Golden Trail. As a lover of medieval architecture myself and fantasy of any kind, coming here was a lot of fun, and the three men there were very friendly and informative. Would absolutely come back if not to hang out for a while and enjoy a nice day!

What an amazing place. One man did this back in the 1900s. History is such a cool thing. Beautiful, well maintained and very informative on who the man (Harry Andrews) was and his life leading up to the castle. Love having these experiences with the family dog friendly was my favorite part! Very cool place to visit. Won't take to much time out your day either! Go check it out

Such a great experience with so much interesting history. Worth the few hour drive we took, and we encourage anyone to visit! The area is motorcycle friendly, but be careful on the descending road down to the castle as there is some fine loose gravel over the pavement.

This space is amazing. The man who built this castle is inspiring. He truly understands the concept of giving and "paying it forward". Every piece 🧩 of this place has been made by his hands. The rocks came from the river and he created and formed each brick
that made the interior walls.
He was a man of vision and strong Christian values. That inspired the future generations with the creation of the " round table" which he used to send youth to college.
This is a great place to take the family. Children will love the variety of armored knights in the rooms as well as the wall of swords.
The grounds are creative with various flowerbeds including one with a dragon that appears to be coming out of the ground. It even has a dungeon with bone remains. Every part of this castle has been carefully and creatively done! At just 5.00/per person it won't break the bank either.

We love our new city! It's full of quirky surprises. Like this castle near Loveland. The history behind the building of it, as well as the gentleman behind the building, is fascinating. It's super affordable at $5. Lovely gardens, too. We took a picnic and our dog. A really fun couple of hours.

This is one of the most fascinating and unique places I've been to. The staff was very friendly and informative. You can do a self tour in about 45 minutes. My husband and I stayed about 3 hours just soaking in the uniqueness of this place. I just couldn't get enough of it.

This Castle was absolutely amazing!!! We loved seeing all the medieval details, swords, shields, gardens, dungeon, and even the dragon! A great way to study castles and knights with kids. I will say there was so much more educational emphasis on the man who built it instead of medieval times type stuff. But they allow you to self guide yourself through the entire property so that allows you to handle how much of that you intake.

Loveland Castle is a gem of a curiosity in Ohio. Be sure to watch the three brief documentary films on the castle's late owner and builder, which are fascinating. The castle itself is full of fascinating artifacts, all of which have their own little stories, and the grounds are lovely at any time of year.
Recreation area with lodging, camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing & fossil-hunting opportunities.
Overall I have to give the State Park a Five Star experience! We decided to go camping with our towable RV.
If you are doing that make sure to inquire about the level of each spot as we where on a VERY steep hill which was hard to level.
All facilities seemed decent but we just used the camper for a 2 Night stay. (Me, Wife and Daughter.)
There are tons of activities to do! And they are all put on through the park Naturists! Highly recommend especially if you have kids.

We went camping during Memorial Day weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We camped at the equine campground, it was a delight to be surrounded by horses. We went to the nature center and saw all the cool animals they’re rehabilitating. Then we went to the lodge, got some coffee, then watched the animal encounter where we learned about some of their education animals! The kids had a wonderful time! After that we went to the beach. We had fun at the beach as well, but they hadn’t cleaned up the sticks and debris off the beach yet so that was a bit bothersome. We had assumed they would’ve had that cleaned up with it being Memorial Day weekend. But it didn’t stop us from having a good time in the sun and sand! I’m sure we’ll be back!

Beautiful place to stay. Took my girlfriend and some friends for a weekend to get away. Beautiful lake, boat rentals, game room, warm that’s pool open late, calm friendly bar, comfortable rooms, and above all the perfect place to enjoy the world for a while. For the price of rooms/cabins I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is huge. We went to the archery range and walked a trail close to there. It was close to the water, some spots were maybe a little too close, but it was very pretty and the view of the lake was spectacular. We also visited family at the RV camping area and it was absolutely stunning. There is a cute little trail right there close to where we were and it had a little waterfall and beautiful creek views. There is also a burial mound at the end of the trail. We will definitely be going back again, can't wait to check the place out in spring/summer.

Went and visited my daughter who was camping there. The spot she had was really nice, despite those I seen with alot of slopes in the electric sites. We went on a small hike to the Indian mound and came across a waterfall the kids really enjoyed. Trails was nice, despite a few different paths leading in other directions but I used all trails to stay on track.

I have always loved Huston Woods ever since I was a child. When I come back to visit Ohio I always make sure to stop and take a hike on one of the trails. I also love going to see the animals that live there because they can't be in the wild anymore and reside there now. There are restrooms scattered around the park. There are playgrounds for the kids. Plenty of picnic areas and the park is dog friendly, they even have a dog park for your four legged kiddos.

While this is an amazing park, the camping spots are the worse out of any campground. I have been to 20 campgrounds since September. Look at this photo. Would you want to be by another person in this two trailer spot. Also, park in the mud! Glad I am leaving before the eclipse sell out

I loved my stay at Hueston Woods Lodge. We ate at the restaurant for most of our meals and the food was amazing. Their French fries are now my new favorite fries. The lounge is also a great place to get drinks and enjoy a relaxing evening after a long day of hiking.
We really enjoyed the hiking trails and all of the geocache locations spread throughout the park. The fossil collection area is loaded to the gills with fossils of many different varieties. I absolutely recommend visiting even for a day trip. The nature center and raptor rescue would be an awesome place to bring kids or to visit as adults like we did.
5 stars.

I’ve been here for decades. I came as a little girl with my family, and now I’m able to come with my own children. The lake is beautiful to look at, kinda didn’t like my kids swimming in it because the water is very murky. 🤪 They have boats there and you can go fishing. There are several walking trails. I’ve been on about 3 of them recently. All beautiful. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the beach is kind of icky. There is a lot of geese poo and the water doesn’t look like it should be swam in, but tons of people swim in it so I suppose it’s fine. Haha. I used to swim in it too as a child. But everything else there is great. They have animals you can go and see, and a playground for the kids!

This is one of the best state parks in Ohio I have been to. The nature center is easily a big highlight, as it has snakes, hawks, and bobcats. The hiking here and scenery is about as good as it gets. I saw a bald eagle in the wild here, but by the time I snapped a pic, it started to fly away making for nothing but a blurry picture. Also, there are plenty of restrooms here, which is not something you get at every state park in Ohio. This place is 100% worth the trip.

No matter the season, this campus is a beautiful place to be! It has all the feelings of being in a Hallmark holiday movie.. the campus is absolutely gorgeous..The Fall foliage, to the flowers that are planted along campus during the spring and Summer.. or the gorgeous art and architecture that is around with the beautiful winter snow.. Mami university.. Oxford, Ohio.. is a beautiful place to visit, attend school, explore, live..
Carey Marie — Google review
Its a bit hard to rate an entire university. I'll preface this with the fact that I'm rating from a students perspective and won't be factoring in cost to attend in my review.
First, the university is big and beautiful. All the old brick buildings give a nice general vibe to the campus. Uptown is also a nice social hub for the weekends, fit with bars, restaurants, and Bagel and Deli. There are plenty of people on campus to befriend and plenty of clubs to find like minded people with.
Second, the classes. I've had great classes so far, not finding any "bad" professors. For context, my classes have revolved around computer science and math. Mileage may vary, I haven't taken every class.
Third, the food. The included meal plan gives access to meal halls which have a wide array of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some items, like cereal or pizza, are guaranteed every day of the week, with other entrées being cycled out each day. Its good at first,, but these dining halls are functuonally mean to be eaten at daily. After a while of that, the food quickly becomes just edible. The Armstrong center has a bunch of restaurants that require payment like normal, however they don't accept meal plan swipes or their equivalent value, something I've seen in much smaller universities. This food is actually good, but eating here isn't sustainable for the aforementioned reason. Paying at these locations means you're really paying twice. Once for the food, and again for the meal swipe you've essentially wasted. For this reason, I've taken a star.
Lastly, I feel safe on campus. Their transparency with active police activity sent to your email along with their crime and fire reports each year indicate this campus is a pretty safe place to be. Its in basically the middle of nowhere, the campus being its own town. In fact, Miami University outsources their own police department to the town its inside of.

Campus may look nice but academically they have a lot of work to do. The math department is one of the worst and they don't do anything to fix it. For the cost of attendance, being a student, it is not worth it.

What an amazing "grocery store". It's really much more than a grocery store, and the "international market" moniker truly fits. First of all, this place is a lot of fun to just visit. Kids don't usually enjoy going grocery shopping, but they will here. There are so many interesting sections a varieties of food that we regularly spend hours there just browsing. The prices are average, but there are also some good deals to be had on special items. The beer cave, beer/wine tasting bar, port-a-potty washrooms, fire truck hot sauce aisles, ...and I could go on... are pretty unique.

I'm not sure I can find the words to describe how cool this place is. Says it's one of the top 10 places to bring visitors and I'm so glad the people I was visiting in Cincinnati brought me here. We spent about 2 hours walking around this store that they say is a grocery store but quite honestly it's got everything you could ever possibly need or want and things you didn't know you needed or wanted until you've seen them here. Their international section is the best I've ever seen. They have everything from fresh fish to craft ice cream to clothing and jewelry and coffee and tea and more meat or cheese than you could ever imagine. Don't forget to stock up on beer and wine while your hair as well, maybe grab a cigar. And there's a whole toy section for the kids when you first walk in. Super impressed with this place and anyone traveling through this area should definitely stop in and check it out. The jungle outside is a nice touch

This is a very unique store. You can spend hours here looking at all the items that are not available in most stores. This store has a great selection of Lodge cookware items, wooden cooking utensils from England, and too many cooking items to cover. The frozen meat includes ground yak and ground camel. I never made it to the bakery or produce department due to a lack of time. I am sure the variety in these departments is very extensive. I look forward to my next trip to Cincinnati.

It's a crazy place. Easy to get turned around in. If your looking for an item and they don't have it, I'd be surprised! It was very very busy when we were here and that took away from the enjoyment of the place. I did find a number of items that were expired that were still on the shelves. So look out for that, the logistics of operating a grocery store of this magnitude has to be a nightmare. It's definitely a "go see it once" kind of a place! The pop selection is good and as a root beer collector I appreciated the selection.

Nice selection of international goods, large variety of produce, and a lot more. A refreshing change of scenery from more prevalent grocery chains. Some nice refurbishing in recent years, but it feels like they could do more as far as new products, promotions, slight changes to layout. Had some issues with odd items not scanning at checkout. Not a deal breaker for me. The sheer volume of items, novelty items to browse is well worth the trip. And wait at checkout was very short, was not too crowded for weekend.

Great selection of wine ne, cheese, lunch meat, and soda. My personal favorites there is the insane collection of weird soda flavors, and the international food market focusing on European meets and cheeses. I've been here several times and every experience has been wonderful.
Sizable outdoor museum showcasing a variety of sculptures in meadow, forest & garden settings.
Day 3 on vacation and my girls were exhausted from all the hiking and walking. I am really happy that there is a driving Gallery Loop that allowed us to stay in the cat. There are parking areas along the loop if you want to stop and get up close to the sculptures or just enjoy the scenery. I came across 2 restroom buildings along the loop. There are a lot of sculptures along the loop and many that can't be viewed from the loop. You can rent a golf cart, that I do recommend so that you can see more without the limitation of being in the car and less walking. Some part of the loop, the road is pretty steep up hill and down hill, and narrow. The highlight of my visit is seeing the cats and a racoon eating cat food. I heard there are several of raccoons living under the deck. So cute!

Great place if you enjoy hiking and art. Also you can just enjoy the art from the car, or enjoy a nice hike.
Be warned if you decide to walk the whole way there's very steep hills to go up and down.
Also as there's lots of places to park, you are free to do a hybrid of the two options.

Good place to visit on a sunny day..there are carts available but we went around on foot 👍🏼 Wish the museum was open. Sculptures are mostly abstract and each one looks interesting.. ponds, overview spots are beautiful .. special mention to Romeo Juliet in the air 👏🏼👏🏼

Very nice place, beautiful and clean. I walked the path and it was not terrible. The two big hills were a bit much but do-able. Take snacks and drinks if your going to be there a while, there is not much available. It took me about 2 hrs to walk the whole thing.

This is a great thing to do a little expensive 10 dollar admission per adult, and it is wheel chair friendly. You can use your car to drive around, but you can rent an art cart (golf cart) for 20 to 25 dollars an hour. It was so fun get the golf cart you can off road and get up close and personal to the art there is so much to see, lots of cool little areas must do at least once!!

This place is amazing who loves sculptures,Arts and Hiking. There is a entry free of 10 usd for adults and 5 usd for ages from 6 years to 12 years. This is a must go place for people who lives near hamilton, ohio. There is a ancient sculptures Museum which countians sculpture from greek, egyptian and Syrian region dated back about 4 thousands years ago. There are also some trails here who loves hiking. You can have cart for travelling. But it is better to roaming around on feet to feel nature and art works. There are lots of small lakes also available. In the visiting centre you can find some snacks, drinks and souvenir. There are enough restrooms available. It is better to brings some snacks and lots of water if you prefer to visit by walking as there is lot of hilly area.

Really interesting. Lots of the sculptures were dated to the 60's and 70's iron works. Other more updated ones were very original. The monolithic stones were my favorite. Sculpture and nature.. hand in hand. You can also rent golf carts to travel around the park. Want to go back in the summertime.

Absolutely love. Loved seeing the sculptures and you definitely have to go to the ancient sculpture museum. Loved seeing the artifacts. Really enjoyable and peaceful place

This is definitely one of the more unique locations my fiancé and I have visited. We rented the golf cart since we hadn't used one in forever and made the gallery loop once, then used our own car to hit the loop again, park here and there, and explore things more thoroughly. The sculptures and displays are definitely eye catching, and the overlook at the very top of the loop has an excellent view of the surrounding country. Be warned that the times to visit the Pyramid House are very limited and rigid, but otherwise we both enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely come again!

Great photography opportunity with an option to rent a golf cart in order to get closer to the sculptures. Peaceful setting and would be a great place to pack a picnic lunch and rent the golf cart to find a serene place for lunch. Pay the extra fee and rent the cart! You'll have so much more fun.

Loved every minute of our time here! Highly recommend! Glad we rented the golf cart to drive around which made it easy to stop and look! Definitely worth the price of admission! Beautiful grounds with a wide variety of artwork and be sure to stop and see the ancient art as well.
It was a short and fun experience of knowing how maple syrup is made.
Guide's were awesome with all explanations
The place also offers short walk trails.

I don't make it to CNC very often any more due to physical limitations but this place is amazing and I'm hoping it is still well hiked!! Red wing trail!! Not 5 stars because the aforementioned trail is ALWAYS muddy! Bring old shoes and you'll have a blast!

The nature preserve does not belong to Ohio Parks/ Hamilton County parks.
It is privately owned, and you pay for every single person that enters EVEN your DOG. A 4 person 1 year membership is in the realm of 100 dollars. The person who pays for the membership must be with you in order to get in. You can't give your card to someone else for them to get in. They check. Nice trails that are well taken care of, but you don't pay per car load like other parks it's by person.

Many miles of hiking trails with varying intensity, from easy to moderately difficult, mostly from elevation... Trails themselves are very well marked and maintained. Couple areas that require crossing a creek using rocks, but most crossings have a built bridge. Saw deer, butterflies, and even a hummingbird!

I've made the west to east side trek over here a few times, and always enjoyed it. We hike the many excellent trails and enjoy that they are uncrowded. When you do run into someone else, they are quite friendly. If we lived closer we would certainly have a membership. The Cincy Nature Center is a fantastic, serene getaway from everyday life. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it.
We went on September 25 and entry was free. It’s usually 10$ per adult. It’s perfect for learning about plants if you are a student. Good way to build bond with family and just enjoy.
There is a guesthouse for all your occasions as well. And a large park for picnics. I just loved it
There was a market for artists and there is an art store you can get some cute stuff.
There is a section for kids to explore.

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is a large and well-maintained zoo that features an impressive variety of animals, as well as rides and attractions for children. It is a great place to visit with the whole family.
We had a wonderful visit. It was Christmas glitters, lights, music and Santa all over the place. Lightening was at its best. Carefully lovingly kept wild and aquatic life. Most beautiful experience was that of zoo train and the musical fountains. Clean restrooms and warm refreshment areas. Excellent!

Great zoo! We were surprised to find that it was so easy to spend the entire day here, from open to close.
It was disappointing that so many animals were off display due to construction, the weather, or bird flu concerns. But even despite that, there was so much to see & experience here.
The hippo display is unsurprisingly very busy, but we still got to stay a while & see the new baby. Absolutely worth it.
The overall atmosphere was really nice too. I love how much bamboo they have growing all over - and they've starting hanging string lights from everything. So many pathways felt like their own little road, distanced from the rest of the park - when in fact they're barely separated.
I appreciate how easy it is to buy tickets & parking from your phone. When we arrived there was a long line to purchase tickets, but I was able to buy them on my phone in less than a few minutes & get right in!

One of the best zoo I’ve been so far, I follow this zoo in social media but it was my first time going. We too our infant and spent the whole day from opening to close and didn’t manage to visit all exhibits. Their nursing rooms were clean and cool during a hot day. The nursing room made our trip to this zoo worth it. Went during Father’s Day and they had a special event going on. Overall, amazing zoo and would definitely consider getting their membership.

This is hands down the best zoo I have ever been to! All the animals look so happy and healthy! We purchased tickets online ahead of time and didn't have a wait at all. Parking was 10 dollars, super easy, and you can pay on your phone or have the people assist you on the way out with a card. We can't wait until our next trip here! If you plan to come to Cincinnati I highly recommend trying to plan a day for the zoo!

Cincinnati Zoo & the Festival of Lights. What else can I say but absolutely amazing & beautiful. Just check out the photos, although they do no justice really compared to being there in person. Went on a Sunday evening. Crowds were decent sized yet not so bad that it wasn’t fun. Still able to get good views of everything with just a little bit of patience. Can’t complain about the parking either. Pretty much got in and out with no problem. I definitely recommend checking it out if you have the chance!

Went while the tulips were in bloom. They were so pretty. All of the zoo parking lots were full, so we had to find street parking, but they are in the process of building more parking lots covered by solar panels to both shade the vehicles and supply green energy to the park. It was quite busy, but that's generally to be expected from a nice sunny afternoon in spring with the longer winter we've had. We didn't even try to get on the train around the park because the line was so long. Looking forward to the warmer weather when there are more animals outside and more of the shows are happening.

I've been to a lot of zoos around the world and I can safely say that this is one of the best I've been to. The diversity of animals and the overall layout of the zoo is excellent. You could easily spend an entire day here, especially if you check out some of their shows. They also have animals here that I've never seen at other zoos before, such as the African wild dogs which were fun to watch. I would recommend getting here as soon as they open, as the parking lot gets busy and fills up quickly.

This is a pretty great zoo. It seemed to have all of the important animals although we never found the bears and really only found one entertaining monkey display. There is shade everywhere. There are lots of pretty good food options. Beware - it's a fairly hilly zoo. If you cover the whole thing you'll certainly get your exercise for the day. There is at least one fantastic playground that all of the younger kids really enjoy. I really liked the kangaroo area. It felt like being in their habitat with them.

Visiting from Chicago and have to say I love this zoo! It’s small, but mighty. And makes you feel like you’re on an adventure to find the other animals.
Highly recommend the train. As you get to see and overview of a bunch of the exhibits.
Then you can’t forget about Fiona the hippo.

Always love going to the zoo. Everything was clean. The animals were out. Seems like they have done a lot of upgrades, and all the animals have more enrichment items. The line was short on the day we went, so my 3 girls got to feed the giraffes. $4 for 2 pieces of lettuce.

One of the best zoos, our family loves coming here with our 2 year old daughter.
- Large breadth of diverse animals.
- Good view points at every animal section.
- Friendly and knowledgeable staff, always a pleasure chatting with them.
- Beautiful botanical gardens, flowers, and plants throughout.
- Excellent carousel with 60 different animals.
- Fun train ride for kids.
- Play area with a slide for small kids.
- Petting zoo with Goats for kids.
- World of the Insect is super cool.
- Our family has the Platinum membership and it’s worth it for the 9-10am member only early access (it can get crowded). Early access pretty much guarantees front parking too. Check on the website the months early access is available (March to Oct I think).
- Great map design.
We’ve visited during all seasons. Keep it up Zoo team!

We absolutely LOVE the Festival of Lights at the Zoo. This is the third year in a row, we have gone the night before Thanksgiving. We usually get there about 430 and don’t have any problems parking or getting in to the zoo. It’s definitely my favorite place to see Christmas lights in the Cincinnati area.

We really enjoyed this zoo! The gift shop items were so cute. The exhibits were nice and the animals were happy. We went early on a Sunday before the Holiday light festivities during the first week of December. It wasn't busy most of the day and the weather was good enough for the animals to be out and active. Good signage, and wasn't too much trouble to navigate. Definitely a lot of walking. Food was good. Truly had a great time visiting with my husband and Mom!

What a great zoo quite literally in the middle of the city! It is fun awesome place to go with family & friend's. It's affordable and you can see different types of Animals by walking or they also have train rides.
Not only animals they also have a gift shop and different restaurant's.They have festival of lights there every year and it's beautiful. Staff and Crew is nice and respect you, and your family and friends.
The membership is nice and affordable too. If you have food stamps the standard fee is $50 just bring your food stamps card and ID. I forget about the other membership prices is easy price's.
Mainly The grounds are clean and there are plenty of trees. The landscaping is lush and it's just a great place to walk around and snap some great pictures. There is such a large variety of animals here and the enclosures are beautiful. I don't think there was a single animal that wasn't out.
There is so much to see here so bring your walking shoes.

Well maintained, lots of different animals to see, well laid out park, restaurants in the park to get something to eat and I plan on returning. Love it.
Parking is a mess. Do not take the last turn google suggests. You'll end up on a dead end street. Google takes you to the exit end of a Parking lot to the zoo. There isn't an entrance there. You will be within eye sight of the park/ zoo. There are Parking lots located in the area you can park in. Expect to pay 10 dollars for Parking.

Really this zoo has come along way. All the upgrades new exhibits and overall attention to detail for the animals. I appreciate the botanical landscaping, the worldly facades on the exhibits and educational opportunities. Staff was great and friendly. I recommend being a member, food and item prices are outrageous (ex 35 bucks for a pizza) but you get a discount if your a member. Parking is reasonably priced I suppose. I was disappointed in several attractions being closed however. Advertising what's coming in spring made me excited, but i still wanted to see those specific animals. I think if attractions are closed, my tickets should be discounted. I'd love to see the zoo expand, more big cats and exotic animals, Pandas ect. Larger exhibits and mire interactions with the animals. Overall however it was a beautiful day and great fun with the family. Can't really complain.

This place is AMAZING!! Literally so many animals will have to come back to see them all! The cool way they all put the animals of prey in a neat walk through exhibit, to the awesome train ride that takes you through the whole park, and the beautiful flamingo family with a new baby bird! Just really awesome- my favorite was personally the feeding of the apes! There is a cool little cave area that lets you feel like you’re WITH these huge animals! Highly recommend this zoo to any family! Don’t forget your dip n dots & fun stuffed zoo animal souvenir!

Our family had the opportunity to explore the Cincinnati Zoo recently, and let me tell you, it was an experience we won’t forget! Unlike any other zoo we’ve visited, Cincinnati Zoo stands out for its sheer beauty. The landscaping is a visual feast, with lush greenery and artistic design elements around every corner.
The architecture of the exhibits is an experience in itself; it blends so well with the natural scenery that you often forget you’re in a zoo. It felt more like a wildlife haven, designed with the animals and visitors in mind.
As parents, the highlight was seeing the joy on our two boys’ faces. The one-of-a-kind experiences with kangaroos and penguins were jaw-droppingly excellent. Not every day do you get to be so close and personal with these amazing animals!
Staff members were equally remarkable, offering insightful information while caring deeply for the well-being of the residents of this unique sanctuary.
Bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Cincinnati, don’t sleep on the chance to visit this exceptional zoo. It’s a feast for the eyes, educational for the mind, and joyous for the heart—truly a place that offers something special for everyone.

Growing up with this as my childhood Zoo really set me up with high expectations for what a zoo should bring. I am so glad to see that they have only enhanced for the betterment of the animals and guest experience. We came in town for the holidays and got to see the Festival of Lights which brought such nostalgia. It was very busy but well managed and a good variety of animals were out and about. This is a must see if you are in Cincinnati.

My family & I love the zoo. We go several times a year. There is plenty of parking. I do recommend getting tickets in advance, at times the line can be quite long, especially during Festival of Lights & kids spring breaks. During lunch times there can be long lines for food, so plan accordingly. You can bring your own water & food. There are plenty of tables to sit at, some inside & some outside. They do not force the animals to be outside, so when you visit some may or may not been seen. They are currently working on expanding some areas so there is construction.

This was such an amazing zoo. I loved the layout and that it was right in the middle of the City. Definitely checked out Fiona and the Hippos exhibit. The Manatees were awesome and that bubble viewing window was super cool. It wasn’t a long walk but there was a good flow to the zoo and was incredibly clean. Tons of workers all over the place to answer questions. We went when the tulips were in bloom during spring (so it was a tad chilly) but we would gladly make the day trip back again to check it out during the summer time.

I visited the zoo with my family on spring break. Honestly it was cold and wet when we went and I’ll admit that I haven’t been to a lot of zoos lately. But I wish we would have known what exhibits were going to closed and that most of the snack shops would be closed. It would have made our decision to go or not much easier. I will say that we enjoyed seeing the exhibits and animals that were open and out and about. If I’m ever in Cincinnati again with my family and it’s warm weather we will definitely go back. I think our favorite was Fiona, the hippo it was fun, watching her and the other hippos playing.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! Though be aware there was a good bit of construction and closed exhibits (common during this off-season; we visited march 3rd), there was still a full day of exhibits, exploring, and adventure.
The staff that we interacted with were all very nice, and I think the animals are well taken care of here. Everything looked well maintained and tidy throughout the day. The gift shop is decent. The food is good but obviously more pricey than food outside of the zoo.
I definitely plan on returning during a different season when I can see the Insect House, Kangaroos, and a few other things. Overall, it's worth a visit or two!

This is such an awesome place to visit solo, with the family or on a date. The botanical garden part with all the colorful flowers was amazing. The best part of the zoo for me was the hippos. All the kids and adults knew all the hippos' names. I also like how you can walk inside the kangaroo section. I took a photo of every flower they had. I definitely want to do the train ride next visit. You will find every animal at the Cincinnati Zoo. Give yourself like 4 hours or so to visit each animal area. Wear a sunvisor or hat and some sunglasses. Don't forget to check out the gift shop.

The Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is a popular gambling venue in the Cincinnati area that offers slots, video poker, and a buffet. It also has a steakhouse and a tropical eatery.
What a gorgeous casino! The crystal chandeliers are absolutely breathtaking.. They currently have a collection on display from different artist! We had a great time playing some black jack, slots and having a few drinks. We had some delicious pizza, conversation with strangers and walked out with more money then when we walked in. If you haven't yet check the casino... I definitely think it's worth checking out now that it's a Hard Rock cafe. We were only disappointed with one bartender in the back bar area.. he was rude and assuming.. but he didn't mess up our good time! Would recommend and definitely plan on checking it out.

Let me start by saying I am not a gambler. I am a Hard Rock collector who was taking a close family member out for a nice dinner for his birthday. I did not gamble, so I have nothing to contribute about the gaming. The restaurants and Rock Shop are all on the same level as the casino. There are plenty of very nice restrooms which are kept clean. Plenty of free parking in attached parking garage with elevators. There seemed to be good security. There are several food venues and bars: a classic Hard Rock Cafe, coffee shop, pizza venue, Asian restaurant, and our destination the Council Oak Steak & Seafood. My only disappointment was the relative lack of rock memorabilia. I’ve seen small Hard Rock Cafes with much more memorabilia than this large complex.

Great casino! Friendly staff. Loose slots. Nice and smooth dealers at every table. No mistakes, professional pit bosses and hosts. Great food choices. A central bar for quick and easy drinks if you can get away from the tables or don’t utilize the gorgeous and very nice individuals catering to you there. All around a great place to enjoy some fun and possibly hit a nice chunk. If you dont hit it big the pleasant atmosphere and experience helps eliminate your pain significantly if not completely.

Thought we were going to have a little fun this morning but upon entering the casino one of us had a soda with us and was told we couldn't bring a drink in with us. It's not something that would usually bother us but you can never find anyone who will offer you a drink. Hard Rock unlike the other casinos in the area where you can get your own drink at no charge, wants to charge for drinks while most people are already spending quite a bit of money playing their games.

As food as variety of games its a nice place and the staff is pretty good but as far as the promotional department they're the worse at rating your play and giving you anything. I go there a few times a week and get nothing and went to Horseshoe close to Indianapolis one time and comped me food then sent me several free trips out of town offers plus $300 food/merchandise comp and $675 free bet money. Sure wish Hard Rock would do one tenth of that but doubt it after years of playing there!

Just a mediocre experience. In this new age of casinos in all local areas of the US, setting yourself apart is not hard. Hard Rock Cincinnati had a terrible selection of table games and electronic table games. $5 blackjack with a required $5 side bet is the worst offender. Not to mention all of your tables under $25 were 6:5, shame on you. Craps tables started at $15, which is fine, but your dealers made the experience mediocre. They just did not provide a good customer experience and seemed disinterested in the customers. Electronic table games were $10 minimums, both craps and blackjack (also 6:5...). And video poker pay tables were quite abysmal. Overall, Hard Rock Cincinnati is just another overpriced casino, offering a mediocre selection of games. I can easily drive to Hollywood, not even a 30 minute drive, to receive better games, rules, minimums, and customer service. In fact, that's exactly what we did. One last thing, I matched from Caesar's rewards diamond plus to third highest tier in the unity program. Your tier match program should make me excited or even interested to play in your network... I got $10 slot play and I truly didn't see any benefit for having a higher tier in your program. So I have zero reason to ever return to Hard Rock Cincinnati. As an avid casino goer, it's so easy to find a better experience at your competitors. Do bettor.

The slots are terrible! You play max and your return is very minimal! Been to this casino 4 times,is a nice location, nice decorate, but the gambling is if you might as well just give them a donation! Playing from one end to the other only to get the same results! Won't be back! I go to Derby City and Belterra and always seem to come out better than going in! So I will stay away from this place! Not once did I see or hear a JACKPOT scream !

My husband and I visited for the 1st time in 2+ years to celebrate his birthday. We stayed at the $15 minimum bet Black Jack table most of the evening. We had 2 different dealers. One was Elijah. Elijah was SUPER good! He was everything a patron would want in a dealer; enthusiastic, interactive, helpful, funny.... Then we had Jeffrey. Jeff was complete and total opposite of Elijah. Jeff unfortunately didn't have an ounce of fun personality, wasn't engaging, and in fact would roll his eyes or make a very noticeable sigh when a player would make a move he personally wouldn't have done or didn't agree with. I am not sure what Jeff is going through personally, and I'm always about giving grace. I hope it was just a bad night for him? -But, If Jeff really doesn't like his job at all, he should look for a role not in direct customer service/engagement. Outside of the Black Jack experience, the couple slots we played were fun and we had good pay-outs. The drink prices, SHEESH, this place taxxxes. Stadium big event prices for alcohol. We would go back again to this location, but wouldn't drink next time, and would steer clear of Jeff. 4/5 🌟 🎰

I was never a big gambler. I thought that it was all a bunch of hoopla. I definitely feel differently after today I went with my friend and I won a jackpot. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting in the Cincinnati area. There is a little something for everyone. One of my favorite parts was the memorabilia on display left from bands visiting the city. Legendary artists from decades ago. We went to the bar and ordered Long Island iced teas. Shout out to the bartender for making such a delicious drink! The service was excellent and they weren’t very crowded as it was during the day. I had a really great time and I was on my last spin when I hit the jackpot! It really made for a great day! I would check it out if you’re in the area, even if you’re not a gambler. Definitely going back!

Very clean and nice casino. Enjoyed looking at all the celebrity outfits displayed.
The award-winning Newport Aquarium houses 60+ exhibits featuring penguins, rays, and more. Kids will love the touch tanks where they get up close to starfish, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, anemones and cleaner shrimp. Older kids will enjoy walking across the river on the Newport Southbank Bridge (or Purple People Bridge) to get there.
This place is sweet. Tons of things to see here. The have fish from all over the world with great descriptive plaques. Lots of neat things they have done with the displays. They have aquariums with little indentations that you can stick your head into. They have glass floors so you can see underneath. They have tunnels where you can see the fish all around you. Pretty great spot to go for a day trip. A little crowded and I wish they would require people to wear masks. You don't have to wear one if you've been vaccinated but nobody is checking so come prepared with a good mask of you're concerned about COVID. Sweet place though. I highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely love taking my kids here. Such a great place to go and see a wide arrange of sea life. Being able to touch sharks and rays was awesome. Even though you have to schedule a time to start, the place was pretty busy. We still had a blast!!!

I mean wow! They have great pricing clean environment. Food is available along with drinks. Just an amazing place to visit. Little kids big kids and adult all love to visit. I suggest you become a member because one visit is not enough! Nothing like walking under giant sea turtles or through a tank of sharks and getting to touch a stingray. Great cheep family fun with handicap access everywhere. Clean stocked bathrooms available in multiple locations. Live entertainment. Multiple food locations with a variety of food to serve. Grab the family and a water bottle don't forget the sunscreen there is some areas that are exposed to the weather. Plan for the whole day because your not going to want to leave.

Amazing exhibit to go to. Saw so many different species, and it was worth it to do. I took my family, and we had a blast and made life-long moments. This is a good aquarium considering it's not by salt water. Totally amazing experience!

This place was awesome! We arrived right when they opened at 10 and left by 11:45, so plan to stay for 1-2 hours. That included a short stop at Sharky cafe (restaurant about 3/4 of the way through). There are several opportunities to touch animals including sting rays, sharks, starfish, etc. For kids there are playgrounds, tunnels to crawl through and more. Animals look well cared for and tanks are clean.

We love to visit Aquariums and Zoos. This aquarium is so neat. We prefer to visit on a weekday, the weekend is quite busy at times. I could watch the fish for hours. I think you could come every day and still see something new each day. A nice way to spend time with a loved one.

Been to the Newport Aquarium dozens of times over the years. Used to be a member but the membership lapsed when I never received a renewal notice. It's always a great learning experience with new critters and habitats. Reasonable admission. Parking is usually very easy.
You have to be tolerant and patient because you're likely to encounter a lot of strollers and noisy kids in a confined area but, when I go, I spend the day. Week days are best and things tend to quiet down in the afternoon.
Well organized by ecosystem. Many cool and unique species including reptiles, birds and amphibians. Lots of interactive opportunities including cleaner shrimp, rays, sharks and tide pool to name a few.
Cafeteria at the midway point has a nice selection of options to choose from. Priced as expected.

We had a great time. Very interactive with animals, which was great for children. Also activities for children. The place was clean. The staff was very pleasant. Answering questions the children had about animals. We ended our vacation here at the last minute. We were going to the zoo but changed our minds. I'm so glad we did.

This aquarium is very nice and as well themed and appointed as a high end theme park. The selection of sea life and number of hands on exhibits is impressive. Anyone young or old should be able to enjoy the aquarium.

Had a great time at the aquarium theres a lot to look at and a lot of knowledge to be had. The restaurant inside was very busy when we where there so we did not go. If you are wanting to do an encounter of any kind get tickets days in advance or just plan on not doing it they will be sold out. The only thing that was a negative for me was the gift shop. We dropped quite a large chunk of change (I'm a sucker for animals and my kids know it) but they don't provide bags. I understand not having plastic bags and having reusable bags but trying to sell them to me after I just bought all the other stuff is annoying.

I have been here a bunch over the last several years. It is always a nice trip. Lots of exhibits, tons of information and a clean environment all around. This time, it all seemed a little less...well...less. Still not a bad experience at all, it just seemed like most of the staff was disengaged and it was as if the wildlife was lessening and the technology is building. VR experiences and virtual tours have replaced true engagement with the people who help care for and conserve these creatures. I know it costs a LOT to keep places like this going - And you can't just go shopping for new exotic animals if one passes away or gets transferred. But it just felt a little lackluster this time. Maybe it was me, or maybe it was just an off day. I would still HIGHLY recommend a visit if you are in the area!

What a cool place! We got through it quicker than expected but we had littles that weren't interested in reading all the great info they had for each tank. We went during the Mermaid exhibit. How cool! I felt like a little kid again! The ladies were super friendly and engaging to kids and adults alike. They even had a sit down photo opportunity with one of them. As well as one mermaid swimming in the sting ray touch pool where you could directly interact with a mermaid, in the water and they'd let the kiddos touch their tail (the sting rays were temporarily unavailable and not in the tank during this time). There was even a 3' tall tunnel in the tank so the kids could get the feeling of swimming underwater with them. In one of the coral reef walk through tunnels you could walk directly under a swimming mermaid. Definitely a unique experience. The highlight for the kids was the shark touch pool. Just make sure to wear short sleeves, the sharks are DEEP in the touch pool and the shark and the sea creature pools are FREEZING cold. Be aware though for tickets, the price fluctuate depending on the day you visit. Some days have longer hours than others and parking isn't free but it's a covered parking garage. The aquarium is in an outdoor shopping mall of sorts so be prepared to walk OUTSIDE from the parking garage to the aquarium even though the parking garage is covered. The aquarium had a cafe inside with surprisingly delicious, hot "fresh" food. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and it was delicious, even the personal pizza's crust had flavor. The prices were typical for a cafe in an aquarium. It's not cheap. If you don't want to eat there, just outside the entrance to the aquarium there are multiple food options and an ice cream shop, candy shop, etc. And brace yourself for the extensive gift shop that you have to walk through to exit. Definitely worth the stop, just be prepared for the cost, etc.

We had a great time at the Newport Aquarium!
We went back in Decemeber for the Scuba Santa experience. My toddler absolutely loved her first visit! I was surprise on the number of activities for toddlers. There's coloring area, inside playground, and so much more for hands-on learning. As we were leaving, my daughter lost her security blanket, and they were so kind to mail it to us during the holidays. We enjoyed our visit and appreciate the great customer service. We will definitely be back!!

We had one of those amazingly perfect days that parents only get a few times a decade! Lol.
We walked across the Purple People Bridge to go to the aquarium.
The aquarium did not disappoint. We took our 8yr old twins. They were so excited and engaged throughout! We saw so many species and climates. The length of the stay was just perfect. They were still interested, but ready to go at the end. I feel like it was well worth the cost of admission.
We would love to go back!

We came from Indiana to check out Newport aquarium and we loved it! The white alligator was awesome! We also loved all the turtles and it was really clean! There were soooooo many people WITHOUT a mask on. I thought for sure it said online or on a sign that you needed to wear a mask. Either way we were wearing them to protect ourselves and good thing we did! We saw 1 other family with masks on. The employees all had masks but not customers. We really did enjoy our time though! It was worth the money we paid and there were tons of awesome animals there!

We had so much fun going through this aquarium!
They have each section themed with the creatures on display. You can tell they care about the well-being of their animals because of the way they have the exhibits set up.
It took about 2-2.5 hours to go all the way through with no kids. They have a lot of interactive areas for the kids, plus we got to pet sharks while we were there!
We would highly recommend going, and it will be fun for the whole family!

Love this place so much. I've been twice in ten years, the staff and exhibits are wonderful. Tons of fish, huge aquariums you walk through in them, just super cool. Having a cafe halfway through is brilliant too, it's a lot to go through and being able to take a break and grab a bite to eat is nice. We did the penguin encounter as well and it was definitely worth it and supports the conservation efforts with all penguins.

Lots of interesting displays, tanks, and fun facts. Waaaay too crowded on the weekend! Go during the weekdays!! We parked in the parking garage and were challenged to find signage to return to our car. Finally took the elevator instead of the stairs and that’s how we figured it out, but the elevator parking floor color buttons didn’t match up with where we parked, which was pretty confusing!
I ordered discounted tickets ahead through AAA, which was convenient to bypass the lines!

Was fun for date night and is fun for kiddos especially. The cafe inside and the souvenir shop are nice. They have a whole kid section and play area. The Levi area is a beautiful shopping area, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The area can be a whole day of activity.

The facility is gorgeous and the animals are clearly well taken care of. There are beautiful displays and wonderful pieces of information as you move through and learn about all types of aquatic life. There are fun digital interactive sections for kids and a fun play area. Probably the best features are the shark and stingray petting tanks. Definitely some special lifetime moments to be had.
The only downside to this experience is the cost. At $20-$25 per ticket, it gets spendy fast. There are some experiences that cost extra once inside, and the food court is definitely on the pricier side. Fortunately the petting tanks are included in the price of admission.
You must buy your tickets in advance as people are given specific entry times. However, once you enter, you may stay as long as you like. I recommend going Monday through Thursday if you don't like crowds or lines
If you are willing to spend the money, this aquarium is an excellent place to visit

I did a penguin encounter and it was so great! I was the only one in it and had the penguins all to myself! I highly recommend!! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Ticketing is timed and the aquarium tickets are less the further ahead you you purchase. Also entrance to the aquarium is not included with the penguin encounter.

Wow such a fun time! We went during our spring break and had such an amazing time. They had a ton of touch tanks where you could feel starfish and other mollusks. The big tank with the sea turtle and different sharks was incredible cool. The stingray pool was really fun, just make sure you’re not by someone who’s splashing the entire time.

Huge aquarium! We've been to Sealife a few times, this is at least 3-4x the size and sooo much better. We were here over 2 hours and didn't dawdle. My 8 year old loved the albino alligator and the sting ray and shark touch tanks. We also walked across the shark tank on the rope bridge! That was super cool! There were a lot of exotic fish species which was neat to see. The penguins were so cute! The gift shop was big. Highly recommend!

Overall a wonderful time spent here. Lots to see with well themed areas. It took about 2 hours for us to walk through the whole place (when it was not crowded). You have to pay for parking, but it only cost us $6. Also nice area to walk around just outside with views of the river, restaurants and a movie theater.

I’ve been coming to this aquarium since I was a kid and now I take my kiddos. It’s a beautiful place and easy to navigate. We enjoy coming during the school weekdays when it’s much less busy. It’s awesome seeing sharks and sea turtles up close. I would like to see the personal pictures cheaper. Is anyone actually paying $40 per pic because that’s ridiculous. Make it $15 and I would have purchased them. I’d also enjoy more play space for under 3 since my older child likes the play area but my toddler just has to wait on him to finish. The food there is priced reasonable and decent. Overall, we love coming here but please make pictures more affordable!

Overall a nice aquarium, parking can be annoying and it closes a bit early in my opinion. A great variety of fish, frogs, and reptiles however some of the enclosures were empty or didn't have labels for some of the fish in them. Really enjoyed the tank that let shrimp eat dead skin off your hands. Make sure to purchase tickets multiple days in advance, they get quite pricey if you purchase the day of your trip.

This is an amazing place to come with your family and enjoy seeing so many cool creatures my favorite was the shipwreck part. There were these big green eels and a perfect picture opportunity. You get the chance to touch a string ray and a star fish and some other cool things like a shark. So many dome tanks you walk through where all the fish are swimming above you. They even have the best for last walking over the shark bridge at the end of the aquarium right before the gift shop to get a souvenir on your way out.
Fountain Square is an event venue located in Cincinnati, Ohio that has been renovated multiple times. The square is well known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration as well as its free concerts and cultural events.
We had a really fun time the team explained and made announcements on when our session started and ended. We were notified and aware of how our session was going to go by staffing. There was a problem with the hot chocolate machine at both concession stands which was promptly fixed and the ladies working the stand was very nice and very apologetic about the hot chocolate machine malfunction but again the situation was fixed very promptly. I visited Fountain Square on a sunny day in October and was immediately impressed by its size and beauty. The square is surrounded by historic buildings and features a variety of seating areas, making it a great place to relax and people-watch. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby shops and restaurants.
One of the things I liked most about Fountain Square was its vibrant atmosphere. There was always something going on, whether it was a group of musicians playing on the stage or a crowd of people gathered to watch a street performer. I also appreciated the fact that the square is free and open to the public.

During holidays there is ice-skating here. I recommend it to anyone visiting Ohio. Go take a look at all the beauty in downtown Cincinnati. It's so beautiful and full of things to do. Do not take your camera to the hood (Fountain Square area is fine) snapping photos, it can get dangerous. Not speaking from personal experience, just know the rules down there. Respect and get respect. Happy viewing, God bless.

The new home of the Cincinnati Reds, the Great American Ball Park, is a beautiful and modern stadium with great views. It is located just on the edge of Nuxhall Way in honour of Joe Nuxhall, and has some interesting architectural features. There are the Power Stacks, which mimic the look of steamboats that would once drift up the Ohio River from Mississippi, along with a series of mosaics dedicated to Cincinnati baseball's glory years.
My Daughter and Son-in-law had their wedding reception here. The staff could not have been any more accommodating. My parents are elderly and the staff assists with transportation to the event and back. Wheelchairs were provided at no charge. The facility was exceptionally clean and professionally maintained. Hats off to the hard-working custodial staff and especially the event staff.

Hadn’t been to a ballgame in decades. Went to the ballpark and the place is just plain huge and beautiful…well run and everything is well-marked so you can’t get lost. Rain delay offered time to explore all the mind-boggling food and drink options. Reds lost 0-3 to the Orioles but still had fun. A great ballpark in a great city with a great crowd.

This stadium is a love letter to baseball and baseball in Cincinnati. Lots of opportunities for fans to interact, especially families with young children. They even have a playground on the grounds. The $25 all you can eat pass is a pretty good deal if you don’t mind that the hot dogs are not Kahn’s. There is a candy shop. Bars. Many things to list.
Don’t let the futility of the team dissuade you from coming here. It’s a really great place to soak in the atmosphere of baseball.

Jim in the right fields stands (Budweiser standing deck) was very helpful with providing info about the area and the park itself. Super friendly and nice. It was our first time at this ball park and we enjoyed having nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance to the field. There are yummy and fun food options inside the park and several places with walk up bars. Several merchandise stores on various levels of the park. It was one of those near 100 degree days and there were plenty of shady spots and fan/misting stations throughout. It's a really nice park and well constructed.

Cleveland fan here! Absolutely loved this stadium. I have now seen 2 games here and both were amazingly fun. Cheap beer before the game, great food deals, and amazing views from anywhere.
Both games I went to, the Reds were not having a good year (below .500), yet the stadium was still full of energy and fans still cheering.
Some of the best ballpark food I’ve had from the handful of stadiums I’ve visited (Wrigley, PNC, Arizona, Progressive).
The stadium location is awesome. Just off the Ohio River, with views of city skyline and that nice breeze from the river. Just a great location. There are soooo many seats at this ballpark too. And the employees were are friendly, helpful, and seemed to love their job! I will definitely be revisiting when I’m in the area. A++++

It took me awhile to get parked. There's 3 different listings on GPS for the parking garage it was by luck and accident that I found where I was supposed to be. Everything else was a relatively pleasant experience. It's easy to navigate. The staff leaves alot to be desired. You have to practically beg for any kind of assistance. The vendors in the stadium are non existent so you have to continually get up and go to the food court. Other than that it's a nice place to bring the family for a game.

We came here for a concert and absolutely love this stadium! The food court, concession areas, etc are all really smartly laid out. They have a full bar. I don’t know if this is normal in baseball stadiums, but I thought it was cool! You can get ice cream sundaes in baseball helmets and macOS in a bigger helmet. There are plenty of bathrooms. The seats are typical stadium seats but comfortable. We sat under the covered portion in the lower level -section 134- and the view is great! Everything you could want in a ballpark experience, and more. The video board crashed during the game at one point, but that didn't detract from the experience. Seats down the line are angled toward home plate, the crowd is boisterous and VERY respectful, honestly I could see myself becoming a Reds fan.
The setting of the stadium and overall feel made you feel like you were at a ballpark, and this is really worth a visit. The funny part, in all my time working in baseball, I had never seen the Cincinnati Reds play in person. I've announced for many of their affiliates, but never saw the Reds play in person.
Love the steamboat stacks beyond the outfield fence and the homerun celebrations are cool.
This is a stadium every baseball fan must visit.

Not being from the Airbnb, Ballpark traveler, this stadium was beyond amazing. What a great way to make you feel like you were in the past, but have lots of modern influences. We loved all the outside things to do there’s a playground for the kids there was like music prices were a little steep. It was a little difficult to find the specific things we were looking for like the helmet nachos that actually had a protein in them nachos cheese and salsa 74. Was disappointed that the souvenir cups were not refillable. We did really like that about a different ballpark. We were frustrated. That parking was a little difficult to figure out. It’s not signed very well, but parking was pretty affordable at $25 a car so we did appreciate that

Had a blast. Pretty stadium. Had a magnificent seat! The staff I met were pleasant and helpful. Met a bunch of rowdy Reds fans that kept me entertained and a couple other young men that were just a pleasure to talk to.
Another stadium to check off my bucket list!! Yay, Mets for the win!!
(For the record, I'm a Yankees fan but I'll always pick NY over another team)

Went to our first Reds game not too long ago and we had so much fun. We got seats in the higher section and it was a good choice because we got a stellar view of the game and the gorgeous background of the Ohio River. There were a couple of different beer stands so there was variety which was awesome.

Love going to see a game here. Great food options, friendly staff, fun experience. Parking can be a bit tricky so suggest getting there early to park in one of the lots or garages within a few blocks. Let’s go Redlegs!
A very nice well preserved home. It’s worth a stop if you like small museums like us. It’s not a busy place so we got a private tour from a wonderful volunteer. Not far from Cincinnati. Worth a stop. From here you can go to the boyhood home about 40 minutes away to continue the Grant Tour. They let us bring the dog in since it was hot outside. The home has AC for the tours. Also, had a great conversation with the volunteer about US Grant.

It is the original birthplace that has been moved and is now back on it's original foundation. It's a small house that originally was only one room.
The tour guide for the home was very informative and knowledgeable.
I would recommend the stop for anybody interested in American history.

Delightful little cottage. Intern Jacob was awesome. He gave the best tour. He shared so many tidbits of information that blew me away. I really enjoyed myself. This is a MUST SEE location! Also buy yourself an Ohio connection membership, well spent money!

Wasn't open when we visited. We could still enjoy the story of the house and being at the spot where Grant was born. A worthwhile trip.

I quaint and quiet place. My family enjoyed a visit even when the Museum was closed. There is a rest area with bathrooms and picnic tables across the street with a lovely view of the Ohio River.

We made a quick stop for a homeschool field trip and it was fun. The inside was closed but the signs were informative and the website has a whole grant trail you can follow!
We even saw a bald eagle fly over the Grant Memorial Church!

The man in change here was very kind and friendly. Even though I was the only one there, he went out of his way to show me around and tell me the story of the site. A must stop if you are in the area and want to learn more about President Grant.

Very neat part of history. The Historian there was knowledgeable about U.S. Grant. Recommend anyone through this way to stop and check it out.

A well kept museum dedicated to preserving the birth place of former President Ulysses S. Grant.
Sarah Hartman — Google review
This is a great place to experience a bit of the flavour of life in the era when Grant was born and gives you an idea of his early life. Of course, the actual house and museum are not open that much, but with a modest reading of history (Google can fill in the blanks nicely in this case and supplement what is on the signs that are up) and the well done and informative information boards that are up, you can fill in many of the blanks. This is even a good drive around tour where if you do not wish to get out of the car, you can still experience the era and the history of the place of not only one of our greatest generals, but a good president as well. It gives you a window, however small, of the world into which Grant was born into, as well as some of the (at the time) boyhood distractions in the area, such as the Meadows, the forests, the streams, and the overall openness of the area. Immerse yourself in the history for only the cost of time. Priceless all the way around.

Unfortunately the museum was closed due to Covid 19 shut downs. Hoping to return later in the year if we pass through the area again, the grounds are well kept and attractive. When open admission is a modest $3 per adult $2 for seniors kids under 12 $1 and free under 5
UPDATE 07/24/21 We went back and the house was open for tours, our tour guide was very friendly and well educated giving a great tour of the home.

Really crazy to think the man on the 50 dollar bill, General for the north and twice elected president of the United States was born here!
Located in the historic Union Terminal building, the Cincinnati History Museum houses a variety of family-friendly science and cultural museums. Focusing on Cincinnati's history from earliest days to the present, the museum features exhibits on world war two artifacts, centuries-old reconstructions of life in early Cincinnati, and a replica Mississippi steamboat from the 1800s.
My nephew and I have been here a handful of times and we absolutely love it! There a variety of museums and exhibitions to explore. He loves looking at the dinosaurs and exploring space. It’s definitely a great place to take children (and honestly, tire them out a bit). The omnitheater is also a fun and immersive experience that will surely impress the little ones. I also had a great time. It was a big space which gave people plenty of room to explore and there was minimal waiting if any.

Such a beautiful museum inside & out! Absolutely loved our time here with the family! So much to see, learn, and experience. We really enjoyed all the exhibits and seeing all the uniqueness that this museum has to offer! We went on a busy weekend day, but it was still a wonderful experience and it didn’t feel crowded due to the sheer size of the place. We really enjoyed our time, and would recommend anyone in the area makes the time to go and experience it themselves!
Jenna Bishop — Google review
This place is louder than you want it to be, particularly around the dinosaur exhibit, which is very needlessly open to the science center adjacent to it. We came to see the dinosaurs but ended up hurrying through because it was too uncomfortably loud.
The cave and ice age exhibits were really well laid out and enjoyable. It suffered from being unattended by any staff and there were children crawling all over the exhibits.
The children's museum was absolute chaos and was unattended by staff. There were just toys on the ground everywhere without any kind of separation or order. It was impossible for the kids to play through the mess. (I visit a lot of children's museums, I know what they are supposed to be)
The ball pit in the central area was engaging and my kids aged 2-9 stayed in there for a solid hour.
The age 8 and up area for older kids had a very nice climbing maze and a fish tank they could crawl into. That was really fun.
The toddler room was large and separate. Unfortunately the activities were disappointing. Because of the separation, it is not possible to supervise your older children while in this room with littles.

We had a great time visiting! The building itself is a must see! We spent literally all day on our visit here. The museums are wonderful and had great exhibits. We really enjoyed the traveling Pixar exhibit. It was definitely worth the ticket to experience if you want to know how Pixar creates it's films.

We went here for the wedding reception of my wife’s cousin. What a place for it! We had a great time and especially enjoyed the museum being open during cocktail time. The kids got to run around and play on the mechanical exhibits and one of my daughters and I got lost in the Ice Age. There were some amazing and well-put-together visuals for adults and kids. As for the wedding reception itself, the place was beautiful, spacious, and very clean and modern. It was a wonderful place to celebrate a wedding.

Such an amazing museum, cannot recommend it enough. The new Lego exhibit is totally worth it for any Lego lover and the children's museum is fantastic. Would love to come back over and over again!

We have passes here and have been around a dozen times. Our kids have a blast in the kids area. Yhe children’s museum does seem meant for younger kids, maybe 10 and younger. Be aware that it can get PACKED. It’s busier more often than not, even on Mondays and Thursdays. The cave exhibit is really cool and fun for all ages as well as the space exhibit.
We had a frustrating instance where an employee was following everyone around saying “don’t touch that, don’t walk there, you can’t be there.” When there are no “do not touch signs.” And the areas that can’t be touched are right next to areas that can, it’s very confusing. I emailed the museum and they just said they’d let somebody know.
Be aware that it’s a long walk uphill from the parking lot. They do have strollers and electric scooters you can rent inside. There’s also a food court.
Omnimax, holocaust exhibit, and temporary exhibits like the Lego exhibit are extra.

I didn’t even realize until after we had come and left, what this place is. I didn’t know it wasn’t a working train station anymore, but a huge museum complex. We didn’t have much time so we just parked to check out the architecture and interior. Just that ALONE was worth it. It is so stunning. We will definitely come back for the museums, but definitely stop by for the beauty of it!

Absolutely blown away by this place! The architecture itself is absolutely gorgeous. Just driving up to it you know you're going to be impressed. There is plenty of parking available ($6). You are greeted by a beautiful fountain at the entrance of the building, it's super relaxing and I suggest (weather permitting) to take a few moments to appreciate it. The main room is absolutely gorgeous, with tiled murals, high ceilings and a ton of windows letting in natural lights. I could go on and on about the building itself, let's just say it's stunning and a beautiful reminder of how gorgeous architecture was. The museum was FANTASTIC! The exhibits have been curated wonderfully, both entertaining for adults and children. I honestly have not been to a better visually pleasing museum. There are a lot of stairs, plenty of ramps and even elevators to get around. We were there for over 2 hours. I can't wait to go back!! Absolutely loved everything.

This museum has seen a lot of updates in recent years. It is a beautiful building with wonderful architecture. We mainly visited the Children's Museum, and my four sons (12, 10, 5, 5) all found something to keep them occupied. There were several mini "events" in the Children's Museum, including a Glow Stick Dance Party and a take-home craft in the Maker's Space. Outside of the Children's Museum, we spent some time in the Natural History Museum - there was a great exhibit for space travel that we really enjoyed.
All in all, we spent a great portion of our Saturday here, and it was well worth the money.

Came here with my 22 mo old and my 3.5 year old. Was nervous that they would find any of it interesting and was pleasantly surprised. They LOVED it. The Children’s Museum is excellent. The Art Deco architecture is world class. It’s a really fun place and I’m glad we spent our afternoon here. We had a little over 2 hours and had to run through the last bit. I wish we’d of had more time because our boys were obsessed.

Cincinnati is so lucky to have this historical building in the city. Full of history, it has been well maintained over the years. The fountain out front also adds to its overall presentation from the moment you walk towards the entry.
The exhibits and educational films that come and go, keep one coming back again and again.

My 11 year old son and I loved it!! Admission pays for two parts of the museum but the theater and brickology were an extra charge. There was ample parking that was charged when admission is paid. I highly recommend going.

Absolutely stunning museum. Best museum in the entire world. So much to see and do and everything was executed so incredibly well. The Cincinnati miniature cities was the most incredible museum exhibit I have ever seen. The detail. The size. The way it transitioned from daytime to nighttime. Whoever made this should make it for every city. Spent almost 4 hours here. Cannot say enough good things about this museum. Bravo!

This is a great place to visit. It has something for everyone. It’s an engaging and multi sensory experience for adults as well as kids. Very well done. Right now there is a fabulous exhibition on Pompeii. I’ve been to the actual place in Italy and this exhibition provides an amazing sense of the place.

I went with my family to see the Children's Museum and Pompeii exhibit this week. The Pompeii exhibit was amazing, but it is mainly about Roman history and artifacts with comparatively little about geology and volcanoes. I would not recommend it for children younger than 10. The other museums you get with admission- Cincinnati History, Natural History and Science and Children's all have very good exhibits, but the building is very confusing, as it's a train station that has been adapted for museums and the signage could be a lot better.
Benjamin Cook — Google review
Beautiful art deco building which is in excellent condition. Feels like there’s a lot of history here (aside from the actual museums). We went to the Christmas train demonstration and it was very worth the money. Lots of different dioramas and even a model of Cincinnati which changes throughout the day.
Tip: if you stand in the front corners you can whisper across the hall because of the acoustics.

A Cincinnati delight. We spent the afternoon here. First to see the IMAX movie. The theater and film were fantastic. 3 adults and 3 children under 10 were amazed and thrilled with the film. You will not leave disappointed. After the show we went to see the model train exhibit, more eye candy. The folks who run this are amazing. Lots of talent here. We left the train exhibit to see the Lego display. Literally thousands of Lego figures, villages, buildings and themes from Star Wars to pirate ships. Be amazed with the talented folk that put this display together. You will be amazed. The grand kids could not get enough.

An iconic location with a museum that could be fantastic.
You can scour many of the previous reviews to see why you (and the family) should visit this museum.
For my review, I'll focus on why only 4/5 stars. The first reason is the cost. To pay $27 for admission and parking is wild. You'd be a fool not to pay online in advance because the line at the ticket kiosk was incredibly long.
To get the most out of your visit you will need to purchase additional add-ons for special exhibits and movie experiences. This is all a bit ridiculous for what you're getting.
The two opposite ends of the museum center (Cincinnati & Natural History respectively) require you to rescan your entry ticket (you'll want to screenshot your mobile ticket as the online ticket will expire and you'll need to keep reloading the confirmation email).
While visually the museums are very well thought-out, the substance of the actual descriptions is underwhelming. It is more of a visual journey than one to soak up the history and knowledge for. The placards aren't incredibly detailed and leave you ready to move on to the next exhibit in rather short order.
However, while this may not have been my cup of tea presentation-wise, I do see a great deal of merit in how the exhibits are crafted in their appeal to children and families. Perhaps this is the main premise.
Either way, this is a must-visit location and don't take my word for it but rather give it a shot for yourself and see how you like it.

Went here for the natural history museum. It was a pretty good museum; lots of neat and interesting exhibits as well as interactive things for the young and young at heart. The IMAX Omnimax was very neat.
The food was pretty good too. If nothing else I'd rate it 4 stars, but the museum was almost or actually more slope and ramp than flat surfaces. The main entrance leads to 4 ramps to 3 different levels. There's stairways between those but nothing for wheels. Then, the floor under the entry area ramps down further towards more museum sections. The ice age area is roughly floored to be rock-like, and then continues to be up and down ramps. It's all technically 'accessible' but be forewarned there's much effort involved.

Incredible first visit to the CMC! Remarkable display at Union Station and the architecture is remarkable! I was very impressed with the Pompeii Exhibit and the Deep Sky IMAX experience!
Easily could spend up to 4 hours here by taking in all of the sights!
Can’t wait to see the fountain in action in the summer! I will definitely be returning.
Indoor/outdoor, Bible-themed museum with exhibits ranging from Noah's Ark to a petting zoo.
Very informative and amazing place to visit. I love the Dinosaur Exhibit, the history on Dragons “Dinosaurs”. The 4D Theater was enjoyable especially the story on creation. The Stargazer Planetarium was awesome especially the show on Created Cosmos, I loved it. The exhibit on Adam and Eve and the fall of man was very cool. The explanation on how things were before and after sin and how it affected man, animal and plants was wonderfully explained. Highly recommend this experience.

We enjoyed our visit to the Creation Museum. It is a very detailed museum with beautiful exhibits. However, I feel like this is just a one time visit attraction. I would not visit this museum multiple times. The animals were underwhelming, but that make have been due to cold, foggy weather on the day of our visit. The best part was the gardens and the Christmas lights. The lights are beautiful and so are the grounds, even in winter. I can’t imagine how beautiful the gardens must be in the spring and summer.

Loved this place. Very informative and well built. The garden in front of the museum was beautiful. The food and ice cream sold were also good. The museum itself was very informative and realistic. The planetarium and the 4D movie theater is definitely not to be missed. I recommend buying a combo ticket if you plan on visiting this place and the ark encounter which is about 45 minutes drive from here.

My visit to the Creation Museum in Kentucky was a truly enlightening experience that touched my heart and mind. As I explored the exhibits, I was deeply impressed by the thought and care put into each display, which seamlessly blended science, faith, and history.
The museum's compelling presentations challenged my existing beliefs and encouraged me to think critically about the origins of life. It was a journey that left me with a profound sense of curiosity and wonder.
The planetarium shows and the beautiful botanical gardens were personal highlights. They added a hands-on and immersive aspect to my visit, allowing me to engage with the museum's themes on a deeper level.

We enjoyed the museum and gardens. A lot more reading than I expected. I'm dyslexic so too much reading is overwhelming to me. In the exit survey I recommended they add an audio tour, possibly an app you can use to listen to what's in the exhibits. All of the staff was really friendly. We were there during the 40 days and nights of music and got to see a great band and a very funny Christian comedian.

This place is amazing!! From the very time you step foot on the property you know this place is special. The property is well maintained and very scenic. There is so much to see. Every exhibit is detailed and leaves no doubt that God created man. The 4D movie "6 days" was beyond words. You are right there during each day of God's creation. You feel the wind, the water, the breath of the animals, every part of his majesty. Words are not enough. We ate at the cafe' for lunch. They have a wide assortment of hot and cold items to choose from. As you navigate through each exhibit you will see such detail. We spent over 6 hours reading and watching and did not quite finish. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Ken Ham for honoring God through this wonderful ministry.

The Creation Museum was fantastic we went to the light exhibit for Christmas and the museum. Parking was easy and close. Plenty of bathrooms. But the definitely have it all laid out really well. The 4D theatre on creation was good too. Great story. Each exhibit was well done. Jesus and the Cross exhibit was a bit of a let down. I was expecting way more... it was only photos on the wall... BUT... It was still impactful to read the texts. I recommend families go. Young Kids are free and we got our family of 8 in at 159 dollars. It was fun. Parking is 15 dollars or 10 at night.

Simply amazing! So much more than what I was expecting! The displays are truly world-class, and the exhibits blend science, history, anthropology, and so much more through the lens of scripture. The experience is absolutely faith-based, but unlike other museums, the Creation Museum is not afraid to present both sides of the story and empower individuals with information to make their own decisions. You can visit best museums in the nation (DC, NY, Chicago, etc) but this truly outshines them all! The live presentations and 4-D video experiences were one of my favorite parts. The botanical gardens, sculpture, zoo, planetarium, and other bonus attractions are also delightful!

This was a great experience for our entire family. It may be a little tougher with younger children only because there is a TON of reading exhibits. Don’t get me wrong, the information is definitely interesting and everything was presented with excellence.
Definitely make sure to visit the planetarium and 4d theater. The animal exhibit was unimpressive but the grounds and overall experience was well worth the money.

The creation museum is an absolute must see especially if you are visiting the Ark encounter as well. There is so much to do inside and outside it kept everyone in our family entertained! We were also able to feed our family of five for $28 at the Noah Cafe. I was shocked because where can you feed your family of five for $28, especially being out? Wow.
They also have souvenir cups for $19.99 each that have unlimited refills that you can use at the creech museum as well as the Ark encounter.
My personal highlight was seeing the dinosaur that had original bones in its skeleton as well as the original skull still intact! Just cool to see something like that.
Another highlight for us was the different speakers and activities that they have scheduled throughout the day. We bought the 3-day pass that went between the Ark encounter and the creation museum and every day you come they hand you a schedule of the events of the day which was nice!
There's a beautiful botanical garden and lots of areas to walk as well as a small zoo and fun animals to see. We sat outside for awhile and watched people zip line across the property, also a fun thing to see!
We bought the 3-day pass for the Ark encounter and Creation museum and ended up going to the creation museum one day and the Ark 2 days. Our kids are 8,6, and 3.5 and this is what they preferred and we were wanting to do that too. So much to see and do, you can easily plan to stay a whole day here.

It's interesting, but not very child friendly or interactive. There is a lot of reading, and the large summer crowds made it difficult. The Planetarium is $9 per movie, or 2 for $14. Line up early to not get stuck in the front and/separated from your group. The movies are short and just okay. The arboretum is beautiful, definitely worth the walk. The moving bridge is so much fun! My advice is to walk this early before it gets too hot. Overall, the museum was very educational and worth visiting!

This is my first visit to the Creation Museum, and I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits, the friendliness of the staff, the availability of quality food and plentiful clean restrooms. Easy parking too. Some reviewers said you could get through in half a day, but this is not true. You really need to spend the entire day to take in the full experience. There’s so much to look at and a variety of events to attend throughout the day. This is a good family experience with a lot for kids as well. It was a very enjoyable experience and the botanical gardens are lovely. We visited the Creation Museum first, and the Ark Encounter the following day.

The Creation Museum was a wonderful experience. We did the Ark Encounter a few years ago, but did not have time on that trip to also do the Creation Museum so this summer we planned another drive north from Florida to Kentucky specifically for the Creation Museum.
I particularly loved the way it explains dinosaurs and the age of the Earth. As well as the views of science from a Creationist standpoint versus and evolutionists view.
Fearfully and Wonderfully made was a beautiful exhibit. A bit shorter than I expected, but very well done. I did have some explaining to do about what abortion is to my 9 year old son based on that exhibit.
There were several areas of the museum closed off. We were expecting it to be a full day and we were finished with everything in about 4.5 hours. The price is high for adults, but admission for children was free.
It’s a hard location to find- a lot of single lane backroads and not many signs. Thankfully the GPS routed us there alright.
I give the Creation Museum a 5 star because of the content and how well it was done. I was more impressed with the Ark Encounter and would visit that area again.

Food for a single adult (entree, side and drink) will run about $20. Overall is a must see.

As a lifetime charter member, our family comes back often from Canada. The updates they've made over the past while are amazing, and the exhibits have in-depth detail. Give yourself a full day at the Creation Museum to take it all in, and another full day at the Ark Encounter. Plan to take in the live presentations too - there's a lot of great information that they present, and it is 100% relevant to today's culture.

Just came back from visiting the Creation Museum with my 4, 9, 11 year old kids along with my husband and mom and her husband.
They have interesting exhibits that speak to all ages along with 4D movies about Creation. It was so cool to see creation so well animated and love how they always tie in God’s purpose and plan for us. They really drive home the Gospel message and Jesus sacrifice and love. My older kids were at good ages for this and really absorbed everything. It’s done at an intelligent level but not overly wordy so the kids can grasp it too.
We came probably 15 years ago with no kids and they’ve added and improved so much. Sadly the petting zoo was closed, though, but it was too cold to venture outside anyway.
Worth a visit! Prepare to believe!

This is our place we go when a kid finishes up kindergarten in our family I love seeing all of the exhibits my favorite one would probably be the fearfully and wonderfully made one it definitely can change people's perspective on that topic.
I also think it's cool that when you walk into the building you immediately see Adam and eve the first humans.
Definitely a place you should take your children .
This place tells the biblical truth and compares and contrasts the biblical truth with the evolution.
This place will change the way that you look at things for the better.
You and your family should really check this place out today.

Unique museum presenting the literal biblical timeline of the story of creation. Multiple detailed interpretive displays beginning with the creation of the universe and following the timeline of history from the biblical Christian perspective. The museum & grounds are generally open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, during the holiday season the Christmas Town event is open until 8:30 pm and includes an amazing Christmas light display throughout the gardens surrounding the museum. There are fire pits & snack vendors and limited access to the museum for warming up. A planetarium is available for two different shows at a nominal extra fee. Two additional auditoriums have shows & videos as part of museum admission. Two indoor food vendors and a coffee/ice cream cafe all inside the main museum. There is also a coffee shop inside the welcome center. I would like you to return during growing season, as I can imagine that the botanical garden is quite spectacular in Spring. Parking is convenient to welcome center, so no shuttle needed. Petting zoo is undergoing major construction, so exhibits are limited. Plenty of restrooms throughout.

Love it here! Our kids enjoyed looking at everything and really enjoyed the Christmas lights walk. Spur of the moment decision to come and we are glad we did. We haven't been in almost 10 years. The creation museum is a wonderful display of creationist thinking rooted in a biblical worldview. I interacted with a number of people who love God and were so kind that worked there.
There were several exhibits that demonstrated with evidence and clarity the biblical worldview of creationism. I hope that more people can come and visit. There was an exhibit all about life and the fact that we as humans are fearfully and wonderfully made.
It was colorful and beautifully designed.

We had a good first time experience and we even brought a season pass. Since we live in Lexington, KY now, this was one of the few places for skiing within an easily accessible range from us. Obviously, when we lived in NY, there were plenty more mountains and resorts to choose from. With that being said, Perfect North Slopes had a small “mountain” with limited trails. It’s definitely great for beginners and maybe intermediate skiers but I don’t know if it would be as good for experience skiers since the slopes are so limited.
Our first experience was on a Saturday, not the best choice since lines were long (especially the board rental lines) but nothing we didn’t foresee. We even got our 7 year old his first ski lesson here and the instructor was so kind. We will definitely be back to try snow tubing.
We went back to try snow tubing and it was a much smoother experience. There was still a lot of people since there was a school trip that day and all the lanes were filled. Not sure if they’re always this busy but so far, pretty busy on both trips. The staff was really nice and I’m glad they took the safety seriously. It was nice to see them patient with the kids.

I visited Perfect North Slopes for some snow tubing with the kids over the Christmas holidays. While we did have a good time overall, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience. We purchased the two-hour pass, but due to inconsistent management of the lines, we were only able to enjoy six runs down the slope.
The staff seemed to have varying approaches to managing the lanes, with some allowing all lanes to proceed simultaneously, while others restricted it to just one lane at a time. This inconsistency led to long waits and diminished the value of our two-hour pass. Despite the fun we had, we couldn't help but feel let down by this aspect of our visit.

What an amazing place . This place offers adventure during winter. The tube sliding, skiing etc is super fun.
Went with groups of friends and everyone had good time. We plan to visit this place again.
Management- the management is very good at keeping all things in check right from ticketing to the associates helping people during the whole adventure. This is safe for kids as well with lot of fun.
Parking - The place also offers good parking(free parking) and restaurants.
Rentals- You can also rent out jerseys and shoes just in case you miscalculated the cold.

What an operation! From the moment you get your ticket to the time you leave, this is a great place to be. Employees are happy and helpful, staff on the slopes are knowledgeable, food area has nice options with fair prices. Area is clean and well stocked. Rentals are priced well and in good condition. All the runs were well maintained and a ton of fun. For an area that doesn't get a lot of actual snow, this place was on a whole different level than what I was expecting. One thing I didn't enjoy, having black oil dropped onto my jacket from the lift.. could y'all maybe fix that? Had a blast and cannot wait to come back!

2324 season first day report. First of all, kudos to PNS for continuing to make major improvements across the site, for getting open with such little snowmaking cold, keeping season passes affordable, and continuing the bonus days tradition for loyal passholders. It was a rough first day though. I picked up my pass in person with signed hardcopy waiver and picture at the early appreciation day to avoid issues, but was still blocked at the gates. Fortunately there were a lot of personnel there to help out, override, and keep things from jamming completely. They said to see the desk, but I was able to fix it online from the lift by re-signing the waiver digitally from an email link, and uploading a new selfie to the ticket purchase site. The new red lift has some growing pains. It's much slower now for singles due to lots of duos. Unlike orange where you lean on the pre-carpet gates, don't lean on the red gates. It seems to glitch them and often skips a chair load or two killing the additional 4 person throughput. Red also stopped a lot, seemingly for no reason. Orange was way less crowded and operated smoothly for a change. It seems that the grading to the lifts is more uphill so prepare for some pole work until they can make a lot more snow and level things out. It seems the days of skiing right up to the red chair on low crowd nights are over. I'm sure things will improve as the season progresses, but be ready for some kinks in the early season.

Came all the way from Texas. First time snowboarding ever and had a blast even with the light rain (unfortunately I didn’t check the weather before planning my trip) but if you can ride here anywhere better will be easy. Staff and people there were super friendly. Would definitely recommend it for beginners. I did not want to leave🥲, even thinking of moving closer just because how great of a time I had. I recommend you take with you some muscle relaxers/ibuprofen 😅. Also be safe and rent a helmet especially as a beginner but most of all have fun!!!

Perfect place to hang out and stay active with family and friends during winter. They have amazing slopes for people who loves to do skiing or snowboarding. For families with younger kids, snow tubing is the best! We went here and brought young kids and toddlers (2 years old is the youngest) and we did snow tubing for 2 hours. Our kids had so much fun they dont want to leave. We have not seen much snow this winter and our kids are obsessed with playing in the snow so this was the perfect activity for them. We went here After Christmas around 7pm and the crowd is just enough for us not to wait too long. Amazing and fun experience for sure!

I have brought my high school club here for our annual ski trip for 4 years now, and we have a great time each year! Check in for our small group is always a breeze, and the staff at the desk (as well as everyone else) is always so kind and welcoming. We noticed while getting our rentals they had installed new lockers you can use all day with a key code rather than a key. This is a great improvement!
My students are all beginner level, and they have so much fun on the trails. The beginners class is so helpful.
Today we lucked out and didn’t have to deal with a crowd. We had some light rain, but it didn’t ruin our time skiing! We didn’t have any lines in the lodge or out on the trails.
We can’t wait for next year!

What an experience!
Never heard of snow tubing before and was really interested to try it.
I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back again.
We also tried the food. The food was okay but their fries were amazing!
If you ever go there, definitely go with a group of friends to enjoy your trip.
Had a blast for 2 hours, didn't want to leave!
The Perfect North Slopes should be on your to do list.

The snow tubing adventure was effortlessly enjoyable. I am glad we bought the tickets online to avoid long lines. The whole experience was easy and fun! There were two thrilling slopes. Waiting on the higher one was more but worth the fun!
Renting equipment was a breeze. They have everything you need and the prices are online. Tubes are included in the price and once the time finishes, you are allowed for one last time. There were multiple cozy fireplaces, which added a warm touch to the experience and much needed with little ones.
There was a small cafe that offered good options. The washrooms were also clean and easily accessible.
Definitely going again!

Went snow tubing with my daughters and grandkids after Christmas. We had a great time. I think some people don't realize this is not a theme park style ride, but "real world" Environmental conditions were good, but not ideal and it was crowded. We had to wait in line to be admitted to the snow tubing area, but this does not count against your 2 hour window. People were very friendly and there were no issues. The staff is great. We were able to cycle through a ride down the smaller hill about every 10 minutes, and 15-20 minutes down the big hill. Everyone had a lot of fun. And we enjoyed sitting around a fire pit afterward. Highly recommend if you enjoy outdoor, winter activities and not expecting a Disney style theme park ride. Perfect North is a great place to have fun.

Perfect North was a great time. It’s a great size and the staff is very accommodating. The slopes are great for beginners and experienced skiers/snowboarders. I love every second of it. The routes were well maintained and people generally had room to stay out of, or get out of the way.

Pretty good skiing for Indiana. I came with no expectations, but left impressed. The $10 beginners lesson was excellent. The snow was a little icy, but the slopes were good and I will be back.
Modern casino hotel offering 6 dining options, plus a nightclub & live entertainment.
First time here. Beautiful facility. Love how open the gaming floor is and the WIDE variety of machines. 99.9% of machines operational. Employees friendly and helpful. This facility is further away than others but I'd gladly go back. Even though masks aren't required, I felt pretty good with their layout and openness of the floor. We didn't eat here today so can't address any of the restaurants. Highly recommend!!

The rooms were good for the price, definitely not the nicest place I've ever stayed but good. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel. I did hear some trains come through during the night. The tracks must not be close to the hotel, but you can hear the whistles blow. It didn't bother me much. I'm a deep sleeper, but I imagine if you are a light sleeper, it may affect your night's sleep. The room was clean. So all and all, a great place for the price. I only gave 4 stars because the lady at the front desk had some attitude when we went down to add some nights to our stay.

Sorry this is so long but it's worth it...Both my adult kids have autism, & for my daughter's 25th birthday, all she wanted was to see the casino (or at least the actual casino entrance) & pavilion. From the time we entered, we were blown away by how beautiful the place was! I love the grand staircase! The map in the ceiling- Wow! Everyone was so nice and courteous! We met a really nice man from security and other employees who were so respectful, patient, and nice and, when they found it it was my daughter's birthday even wished her a happy one! They made my son feel like a gentleman ( his words). He loved meeting people. Everyone was so polite, that he felt very comfortable, even tho this was a new place and he normally gets nervous when we're somewhere new... When we save up some money, we intend to return so she can fulfill her wish to try one of the slots... My son wants to play roulette lol ...
Thank you all for giving my daughter the birthday she wanted and giving my son an experience where he could actually enjoy himself! God bless each and every one of you...

It was the first time in several years that I had been here, and a lot has changed. They no longer have the buffet. We ended up eating at the Barstool Sportsbook Restaurant. I had a Pulled Pork Sandwich, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Pickle, and Coke Zero. It was delicious! It cost quite a bit, but it was good. We then wandered around the casino, trying to find machines to play. I wanted to get pictures of the casino, but was too caught up in the place. Perhaps next time. I won $6, and probably should have stopped at that. Most of the day, I didn't have much luck. I have my best luck at the quarter machines, but didn't have much luck with them today. My only complaint was that I thought it was supposed to be non smoking, but there were non smoking sections, which weren't very big. Sometimes you could smell smoke.

We came here for my work Christmas party and it was a success. We enjoyed ourselves. The room was beautiful- no problems. The hotel and casino were very pleasant. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming. We played Texas Holdem and the dealer was very helpful and the people at the table were too. People were very nice here. We will be back. We ate breakfast at the coffee shop breakfast buffet the next morning and again it was nice. The girl was sweet and everything was very good. Thanks for great time.

Great time at Hollywood for new years eve! Place was packed, but they had plenty of staff, lots of beer and food easily purchased without much wait. They had a dealer for every single table....all night, and lots of jackpots were being won everywhere you looked!! Thanks to all the management and staff for their hard work on a night that was what I can only believe was a capacity crowd!
**Note** my rating for their rooms was entirely based on remarks I heard from guests who were staying. We drove in, after making last minute plans, had a great time. But unfortunately hadn't reserved a room for the holiday eve., so after collecting our winnings we eased on down the road.

First casino I went to and I had a blast with my friends. They've got two levels, one smoking and one not. Blackjack was my favorite game and my friends played the slots with me. The place is beautiful too and if you go to drink, I recommend the dirty bong water. It's very sweet with a bit of sour so perfect for a beginner like me. Even the bathrooms are fancy too! I felt like I was rich even as I spent my last fiver. Definitely recommend this place!

What a great place, first time staying and the room was great. Very nice and clean. The casino is well spread out and very busy a little disappointing that the newest games they only had a couple need more for that amount of people. But all in all a great stay and visit. Classic chic hotel that is a time capsule sharing the eras of today and yesterday. Nice modern decor yet true to its style and homage to an unforgettable period in time. There is also a Casino for your entertainment. The casino is just walking distance from the hotel. Parking spaces and adjacent parking garage also walking distance from the hotel. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nicely decorated rooms. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The only available microwave is located in the main lobby. Nice and friendly staff. Decent prices.

The hotel is dated. Hallway carpets were stained. Room's bathroom could have been cleaner.
Casino was fun. Well designed. They do allow smoking, which wasn't great for us.
Bartenders were generous with pours.
Entertainment was good. Lots of great music!
We dined at the Final Cut steakhouse. Service was great. Our server ( whose name I think was Christina) was very helpful. She suggested the scallops and they were very good. Hubby had a Caesar salad and a crab cake. Everything is a bit pricey, but portions are huge.
Overall, it was a fun overnight. Gambling is not typically our thing, but I'm sure we will be back.

Resort fees- for nothing. We were told a room was ready when we arrives an hour early but it would cost $15 for early check in. We said we would wait and asked if they could hold our bags until check in- nope. Room was outdated and worn. Train goes by the window of room and is extremely loud and lays on the whistle at 11:30pm, 2:30 am and 6:30am. So forget getting any sleep. Employees were all very unfreindly in hotel, casino and restaurants. Restaurants were terrible. They have decided that there is no longer any need for any comfort or customer service.

Great place to stay since it's within walking distance of the casino. The only bad thing was the train that was right outside room. You would get woken up all through the night from the train horn. Doubtful anything could be done but that was the only drawback of the stay. Staff was suoer nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Plus the construction work at 7 am was a little annoying but now we are just knit picking

I'm giving this experience 2 stars on the whole because we really enjoyed our time at the casino. The drinks were great, the food at the restaurants was good, and the casino had a lot of great machines.
That being said, I will not be returning here because of our experience at the hotel. I was enticed by the offer for free rooms, so we stayed two nights: one of those nights we got for free and the second night we had paid for the room. When we checked in, we were asked if we wanted room service around 10 AM, and we said we did. When we got to our room, we ran into the room service individual Hunter and had asked for a few more waters because we have medications to take throughout the day. He repeatedly asked for "an arm and a leg" in exchange for more water. It wasn't until later that we realized he may have been requesting a tip. We always tip room service before we leave, and the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. The next day, we did not receive the room service. We had only two bath towels in the room, and there were three of us. We saw Hunter in the hallway and requested more towels, and the discussion resulted in a bit of arguing. Ultimately we were told that we needed to ask for more towels from the front desk due to hotel policy. We called the front desk and were told there were no towels. Periodically throughout the day, we called and visited the front desk to ask for another towel, but they still didn't have any available. As a result, I stayed there for two nights and was not able to take a shower.
Another thing about the room is that there weren't any opaque drapes to close; there was only a sheer white curtain. Outside our window were very bright lights, so we weren't able to sleep very restfully.
I'm sorry to have to write a review like this as we wanted to get away and enjoy ourselves, but I hope management might see this and make some improvements.

I'm editing this review to be more specific and less cryptic. A guest was getting aggressively physical after having beer spilled on him, he was threatening and pushing people that weren't even part of the incident, Hollywood threw everyone out. I just think it's bad policy to throw out level headed, non aggressive people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Especially when they don't fight back, aren't intoxicated and willing to carry a calm conversation about the whole incident. Plus the person who started it by spilling the beer tells security it was their fault and not yours.
I said my peace. The rest isn't negative.
I will add, the security person who escorted me to my car (on my request because that other guy wanted to physically harm me) was really a nice person. I'd give him 5 stars if I could rate him. That's for Hollywood since I know you read these and you'd like to know how staff is performing. I would have expected him to be more aggressive like the police were but he was actually really good and extremely polite given the situation. That's 1 positive you have going.
Man we were having a great time too. I was with 50 other people including 2 of my kids and countless other family members. Hollywood you soured the night for a bunch of us. Haven't been to boogie nights or the casino in a long time. All in all, it's a great place to go to, and my advice is, if something happens, get as far away as quickly as you can because you're getting kicked out if you're near the wrong person. Enjoy and keep safe!
I added 2 more stars since we were having a great time before the incident and I did win a fair amount of money.
Historic site with a museum housing fossilized bones, plus a campground, trails, mini-golf & more.
We had a great time at Big Bone Lick. The kids couldn't have had a better time. Very educational and fun games (scenic bingo) for us to play while on the trails. A lot of fun and at a very good price.

Tent camping in Kentucky during an intense summer heat wave had it’s challenges, but the lovely campground made the best of a very sweaty situation!
We had a lot of kids in our party and the campground pool was an absolute life saver for adults and children alike. The pool was right next to a small playground, bathrooms and laundry. All simple and small, but well kept.
The campground was very family friendly with lots of kids but very quiet once it got dark.
We stayed in site 19 and it was perfect. We had room for larger tent and a couple small tents tucked back near the woods under a canopy of mature trees. We had easy access to the trails and the kids enjoyed playing in the woods near our site.
There were bugs as to be expected but the elevation is high enough that there are hardly any mosquitos which made sitting outside much more pleasant!
The camp store has your basic things like wood and ice and some supplies, but not much. We did have to do a run to town to get a couple things that weren’t available on site.
One warning: There is an absolutely lawless band of trash pandas (raccoons) that run this park at night! The are bold and relentless. Anything left out will be dragged into the woods for their enjoyment never to be seen again! Plan on putting everything in your car when you leave or cleaning up a big mess.

Nice State Park Campground designed for children. Took our granddaughter for a two day trip for the purpose of going to see the Ark Encounter. This park is one of very few that has a pool. Nice playground and miniature golf course. We could not play because they closed the store at 5:00. We wanted to play in the evening. They also have a small Bison heard. You have to take a trail to go see them. You will need to bring an extra long hose for water. Shared in-between camp sites. Some sites are not level so you may need extra blocking. Not the best place for retirees but great if you have children.

A beautiful and serene place to come and visit, there's a nice playground with updated equipment for the kids. And an even a basketball court further down the play area. A great place for visitors of all ages!
The museum is small but very informative.
The loop trail to the salt spring is paved and easy accessible even for strollers or wheelchairs, mostly shaded too. Be warned, the salt spring itself smells like sulphur but that is normal.
The trail to the bison (about 10 of them) is gravel and one way in and back out (uphill on your way back out). There is not much shade on this trail but you work your way around the encloser so you can get a great view of the bison wherever they are. They were all right near the fence as you can see!
There was very friendly ranger setup right near the bison that was very informative and answered any questions that anyone had.

We stayed at the campground and also checked out the visitor center; and bison area.
CAMPGROUND: we were in site 9. We have a 38ft camper. Had to wheel all they way back to the concrete bumper to fit. You must disconnect to fit your tow vehicle. We parked next to our camper. Nice picnic & fire ring. Sites are a bit close together and we could hear kids in a tent next to us easily. NOT REALLY BIG RIG FRIENDLY given the cozy spots and the huge inclined hill with curve coming into the campgrounds itself. Bath house dated. Pool was out of season. Nice it had a laundry facility. No sewer but has dump station. Water hookup was oddly on the opposite side as electric and near the neighboring campsite.
VISITOR CENTER: a nice collection to look thru but very small. You’d only need an hour or less to take in everything. The diorama looks like it needs some sprucing up. We walked down to see the bison but they were surveying the paddock and had moved the bison away. Bummer. Trails were maintained.

We stayed at the campground for two days. The campground is not that big but clean and well laid out. The washrooms and showers were clean but need updating. The water hookup at some sites is quite far so make sure to have enough hose. The sites are reserved but there are some walk ins available if you come during the week or off season. I do have to say that the woman in the office must have been having a couple of bad days- I'll leave it at that.
Seeing the bison and visiting the museum and gift shop was a nice bonus.

Big Bone Lick was a trip that we decided to make three hours away because of the fossil beds, bison, and camping. While the park is kept up, along with the campsite, the base offering is actually pretty limited. I think my expectations were a bit more considering there were supposed dig sites on the grounds. The visitors center is nice, but very small. The diorama behind it was faded and in need of update. The bison were very neat though we didn’t get to see them up close. Trails could use some improvement. Overall a good but not great place, potentially much better if it gets an overhaul.

The family stopped by today to check out the Bison and the museum. We lucked out on this hot day that the Bison were all out eating grass. They were eating along the fence line, which made it a great experience. Standing a couple feet away from such magnificent and powerful creatures was a treat. Lastly, we stopped at the small museum they have near the Bison. It was way more than I expected, lots on display. Behind the building, they have another display with fiberglass animals from the Ice age. Everyone had a fantastic time.

A very nice Kentucky State Park that doesn't require a full day commitment. We were able spend a couple hours the view the visitor center, walk a couple of trails and see the local bison herd. The trails are well marked. The loop trail at the Visitor Center is an easy walk. Going back on a couple of the other trails past the bison can get you some elevation changes, but I consider moderate in difficulty. Overall we hiked about 3 1/2 miles in less than 2 hours. Plenty for what we wanted to do. The visitor center has a lot of information about the history of the site. Well worth a stop in visit. It's not big so 15 to 30 minutes is more than enough time. The staff and rangers were helpful.

The Parklands of Floyd's Fork is a treasure to have on the outskirts of Jefferson County. We have visited each of the five parks that make up the The Parklands. It's a beautiful park just a few minutes drive from much of Jefferson County. Hiking, kayaking, nature watching, water parks, water fountains, PNC Education Center, & so much more. They have numerous field trip opportunities for our local schools, going above & beyond to ensure all children can experience a unique park system. It'll be well worth a visit to their website to check out everything The Parklands offer. The park rangers, staff educators, & maintenance staff are awesome. Plan a visit as soon as possible, you'll love it.

Love the park...but had an issue with Ranger buddy tonight. The first time he passed us at an inappropriate speed in his truck was on the trail between the soccer field lot and the snack stand. Yes i had a 9year old on a bike that i had to get into the grass because a ford ranger doesn't belong on those trails especially not at his rate of speed. The second time he passed was on the small road between the parking lots with him going about double the speed limit.
So when I saw him chatting it up in the parking lot I walked up and as politely as I had available told him "work here or not you need to chill out with your speed" and instead of any regrets or apologies he ran his mouth. Apparently he was the first responder to someone who left a bookbag at a bathroom. He fancies himself police/fire (his words) gave me his name and told me to call who ever I would like.
I hope you have great insurance for when this guy takes out a kid. I take mine to the parklands to avoid the idiots in trucks...

The combination of food vendors, a beer vendor, a tree give-away, live music at the Pavilion, music throughout the Moss Gibbs Woodland area with violin, dulcimer and flute, trivia game and multiple other vendors, made for a Special Event. Thank you

What a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly.
There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room.
If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.

While Beckley Creek and Pope Lick Parks are beautiful, Turkey Run Park and especially Broad Run arem more of what many of us go to a park for. Peace and tranquility. They all have great hiking and biking trails but those two are the best. BC and BR both have spraygrounds and playgrounds so that is sure to please the little visitors. They all open at sunrise and close at sundown. The Parklands website is a fountain of info on what they have to offer. As well as the few rules they have.

“The Parklands” is a 4,000-acre park system made up of four individual parks and a connector park along the Floyds Fork Tributary. With 100 miles of hike-bike trails, there was no shortage of nature and hiking options.
“The Parklands” in the Louisville area indirectly owes its existence to who is considered the father of landscape architecture in the United States. Early in the 1800s Frederick Law Olmsted, the first U.S. landscape architect, developed a series of parks around the city of Louisville, KY. It is these 200-year-old legacy parks that are the basis and inspiration for the development of “The Parklands.”
Berkley Creek Park, one of the four parks in “The Parklands,” is not just a place for hiking and biking. When visiting this green space, you might also see people lounging on blankets while watching others pass frisbees or kick a soccer ball. With a large playground, a pavilion and walking paths, there literally is something for everyone at this area of the park known as “Egg Lawn”. Even though this is a newly developed green space, it is a rather popular place for the public on the weekends.
As the trees and fields mature, I can only imagine what this open space place will look like in the future. “The Parkands” impact on the Louisville area is just getting started. Today, the young trees and flowers dot the open fields. Who knows how different the fields pictured above will look in 20-30 years. If you happen to be in the area and enjoy nature, make sure you stop by.

This park has a great bicycle and mountain bike trail system. Also good for just about anything else recreational Outdoors. Floyds Fork is a beautiful Creek that can be paddled in the spring and after heavy rains in the summer. This park is an absolute gem in Louisville Kentucky. I truly would like to thank city of Louisville for putting these 5 parks together.

Located in Borden, Indiana, Huber's Orchard & Winery is a sprawling farm with fruit and vegetable picking, wine tastings, vineyard tours and a bakery. The venue is perfect for weddings and events, with convenient modern amenities.
This tour of the winery and distillery was awesome. Ken did a fabulous job! The wine tasting was fabulous and you get to pick six wines or you also had the option to taste the spirits. There was music out on the patio and we also bout the package that included lunch. Burgers were huge and moist and fries were good too. If you are going to visit, I highly recommend the $35 package! Includes tour, tasting, lunch, glass of wine and a wine glass too! Pick a day when they have music. It was the perfect day and you cannot beat the experience for the price!

We brought the kids just to have a day outside and pick pumpkins and apples. Hadn’t been since a child and I believe there’s two locations now. We ate at the restaurant and went to the play area before doing the fruit picking options . Food at the restaurant was decent but not delicious like I remember it and not worth the price in my opinion but I think they have a Huber restaurant at the other location with more home style food. We had burgers and chicken strips at this place . Smaller kids can definitely run around and use up their energy. They charge you by pound for the apples you pick so if you go with a family be mindful . My family enjoyed the fish pond the most . May come back with just her so we can try wine tasting and just relax with great views. It’s beautiful land and everyone should visit at least once. The drinks and home made snacks and cider were hits for us as well, riding on the traitor was my favorite part on a hot day, the breeze is amazing lol wear comfortable clothes and shoes !

Stopped in for a wine tasting while in town visiting my parents. Beautiful property and establishment. Had a great wine tasting and definitely will be back when I visit next. Took home the their lakeside white, sweet stella di luce, and limestone white blend as my top three but others were good too. My step dad did the spirits tasting and I'd love to try some of their cocktails. Sipped his black raspberry bourbon liqueur and it was delicious.

Ken at the tasting bar is the absolute best. Very informative going over the tasting menu and we even got to have an extra taste of one of the newer wines they have to offer. Wine Down Wednesday was a success!!

What a great find just a short drive from Louisville KY. Great wine and spirits along with a wonderful staff of 8 generations! My fav was the apple sparkling wine ! Hubby loved the blackberry whiskey. Shared lots of area suggestions with us. They also have a bakery nextdoor and the bread was fabulous. Lots of homemade goodies. Ice cream shop and picnic area also on site ! Will visit again. Highly highly recommend!

So much to do at this place. Orchards and patches, markets and shops. Something for everyone, including the kids. Bamboo and corn mazes, slides, inflatable, racetracks... The winery and distillery are great. Youll easily spend a whole day here. There are several restaurants in the grounds too.

My wife and I visited Hubers Orchard about a month ago and had the best time! We only expected to be there for an hour or two and ended up staying four hours. They have a winery with 15 dollar tastings but you get to pick 7-8 wines or spirts. Also they have a general store with fresh produce and other goodies. On top of that the parking was free and the hay rides were free (or at least it was when we went). Before we left I got some of their ice cream and my wife got their coffee (they were delicious). We definitely plan on visiting again sometime!

We visited this place in October 2023 and I thought it was one of the best places I have ever seen. We tasted wine, enjoyed live music, ate and bought local products that the farm itself produces. We picked apples, tried the best pecan pie ever, bought cheese bread, orange marmalade and apple cider vinegar. One of the best experiences for me and my family that you could have once you visit Jasper, Indiana

Highly recommend this as a must-do activity for anyone visiting from out of town or even a fun time with friends and family. The fall harvest decorations were gorgeous and Huber’s was selling the most perfect pumpkins I have ever seen. We will definitely be back before fall is over to go pick pumpkins!

Love this place. My wife and I have been wine club members for several years. They have live music on the patio area, food to eat and a couple bottles of wine. Always well kept and clean. Staff is always friendly. The Family Fun Park is excellent for the kids. They have a plenty to keep them busy for several hours. We will be back soon.
This museum in Louisville, Kentucky is a must-see for fans of baseball bats. The museum has a factory tour that charts the journey of a bat from a humble piece of wood to an expertly made professional baseball bat. Other noteworthy exhibits include the world's largest bat, Buds Batting Cage, and interactive displays like Babe Ruth's batting helmet. The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is easily recognizable by its towering 120-ft steel baseball bat, the Worlds Biggest Bat.
A fascinating place for baseball fans as well as those with just a passing knowledge of the game. Watch bats being created out of blocks of wood. When we were there, they were making bats for opening day. You can also get a personalized bat. There are displays highlighting baseball greats and other unique facets of the sport. A great attraction and an easy walk from downtown.

Totally awesome tour and definitely worth it. All of my kids enjoyed it. The free mini bat is a nice touch either. Keeping four boys from poking each other with them is a different story. After the tour you get to see the museum which has some nice extra items in it. We came on a holiday on the fourth of July weekend and only had to wait 10 minutes for a tour to start.

If you like baseball history you will luv this place. They give you a great tour of the factory where they make 4000 bats per day. They also have lots of pro baseball items you can buy that are signed. At the end of the tour you get a free souvenir bat. You can use the batting cages or check out the bat cave and gift shop. Ez parking.

As a former baseball player, it was a really cool experience to see where these bats are made. Also, the amount of time and dedication they take to craft each one. It was also cool to bat in the cages to test out different players' bats. I would definitely recommend it to someone who played baseball before or someone who appreciates woodworking!

Had a great time. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but this was an awesome tour. They have a bat vault that is really cool. Bats that past famous MLB players used. The tour is worth the money, really learn a lot about the bat and the wood. Also a good place to purchase a bat

If you you baseball and its history, this is a place you must visit! The visit includes a tour inside the factory where you can see how bats are made. The exhibitions are simply amazing! You can hold a bat that belonged to Babe Ruth in 1933, you can see bats from Joe Di Magio, Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, Roger Maris, Tyler Cobb, and some other legends. You can buy nice souvenirs at the gift store and even get a customized bat. I highly recommend this museum.

This was a pretty cool tour as it was in a real production facility where they are not afraid to show off the pride of their product. Overall, it is always cool to support a family business even if it is a big one. Pro tip: they give everyone who takes the tour a mini bat which saves on souvenirs for large family groups. Pro tip #2: they laser print all types of bats for gifts and it is pretty quick.

Fantastic place if you even have a remote interest in baseball. I would say if you enjoy watching stuff get made or are into woodworking you would enjoy the place. The tour guide did a great job explaining what was on the factory floor. The museum had great exhibits and you can even hold bats used by the greats of the game.

Unique museum. If you are a baseball fan this is a must see. We were just passing through and have been wanting to stop.

Nice space with some free exhibits, but if you want to enter the museum portion and/or do the tour, there is a fee.
I think the tour is a must try for fans. It was interesting to hear about and see the process. AND they give you a mini bat of your own at the end of the tour. When we went early in the morning, there was no wait for the tour, BUT when my friend wanted to do the tour later in the day, she would have had to wait about 1.5 hour for her tour group. So, buy the tour ticket early if you plan to attend around the noon time.

I'm not a baseball fan, yet the rich history of the game, the process of making the bats, and learning about the players was incredibly interesting. I think this is a must see quick trip to see a working piece of history. Tour lasts about 30 minutes and you have to be assigned to a tour time. Awesome to see the inner workings of how the Louisville Slugger bat is created. There are other things to look at and learn including a batting cage. I was in and out in an hour and felt good about my time spent. Check it out while in Louisville.

This was worth the whole trip! We bought tickets the night before for the first tour on a Friday. So much cool stuff! The tour was cool because you were right inside the factory where they make the bats! They let you take all the pictures you wanted and hold all types of bats! And at the end of the tour they give you a miniature slugger bag to take home! Big souvenir shop! I would go again!

Really fun for families and baseball fans. The tour is easy and is with a guide. You walk through different setups in the factory and they play short videos with more information. At the end you get a mini slugger, watch out for everyone who gets super lit to get them - they start swinging.
There are other parts to visit including a history area with mannequin/statues of famous players. They also have a bat room. And the batting cage is fun if you have the time.

My wife has talked about Louisville Slugger Museum for as long as I've known her. It has an extremely strong anchor to baseball, especially professional baseball. All the majors, leagues and players, get their bats from here. It is where their bats are made. At this museum, you can see how bats are made, from the selection of the tree to the cut and shape of the bats. It features a tour of the factory itself and ends with its own museum of baseball history. It is a fascinating tour for anyone, whether you are interested in baseball or not. It is a highly recommended tour of Americana.

This is fun place for baseball fan especially for a hitter. You can watch how a baseball bat was made from a log to a famous product. You truly walked into the factory to see it. Greeted by the World's Largest Baseball Bat right out of the museum. I ended up taking the tour here and they show you beginning to end, the production of the bat. Starting from the piece of wood, how it was cut back in the day. Nowadays with machinery, you see how quick production can be. You get to see every step of the way from the carving of the machine, to a slope test, to the sanding machine and then they are finished in with some paint. Lastly some are branded and then ready to go for use! Overall nice tour and you get a small souvenir bat out of it. Very nice!

Awesome museum! Great to learn about the history and how they used to make the bats and to now walk through the factory and see bats being made. Great museum and if you're a lover of baseball, then this is a must do! The tour includes walking through the actual factory while the bats are being made, which I found to be the best part of the tour. The tour guide also went into the science of how they're put together. You also get to take home a nice token... you guess it, a miniature Louisville slugger bat.

I’m a big baseball fan and I really enjoyed the tour! Learning about where the wood is sourced and seeing a bat being made was very special. After the tour you can go to the batting cage and try out bats that are replicas of the pros both current and historic. My favorite bat is Hank Aaron’s, I had to try Babe Ruth’s bat too, it’s HUGE and hard to swing.
If you don’t have time for the whole tour you can just go to the batting cage and gift shop. There also a movie that talks about the history of the game and Louisville Sluggers roll. I’ll be back again!

An essential part of the Louisville visitor experience! While I enjoy the sport, I confess I'm not that into baseball - but this was such a fascinating experience and should not be missed. Heads up for my fellow air travelers: the museum will ship your souvenir mini bats for just $10 (bundle them together to save!).
The Louisville Zoo is a small but unique zoo that offers wedding ceremonies and receptions with animal habitats. Guests can mingle during the cocktail hour around one of many different exhibits, such as Africa or South America.
We went for the Wild Lights night walk and it was amazing! It lasted about 2 hours, and we were able to get in a little ahead of our scheduled time and there was no feeling of being rushed or pushed along. A very go with the glow kind of walk.
Every turn you take is a new light up display you weren't expecting! There are so many animals, plants, and fun facts about each section! It's also got several interactive installments that make the experience even more fun. And there is relaxing music playing throughout the Zoo as well.
A great experience for kids, adults, and the whole family! It is a bit of a trek, but Louisville Zoo has restrooms, benches, and concessions throughout the campus to allow for any needed breaks.
I've posted just a few pictures because I don't want to spoil the experience, but these are a couple of my favorites from the night. We are going back to the zoo in the day because this is our first visit to this one!
Edit: added a few pictures from our trip the next day, and it was still so fun, even got to see baby Fitz! Would recommend sunscreen and water bottles for sure!

We had a great time with the kids, most of the big cats were hiding or sleeping and that's the only disappointment. Quick and easy to enter the park but food is really pricey so I'd suggest eating before or after you leave the park or leave to eat and re-ennter. Fun day overall.

I have been going to this zoo for As long as I can remember. It's always been a very clean and friendly zoo. And just a great experience that even now my own kids love. I will say summer months are the best time to go more of the animals are active enduring the winter months a lot of the attractions are closed. But nevertheless, the food is always good in the park is always clean. Can't wait to see what they have in store next

My daughters first trip to the Zoo for her 3rd birthday. We had a blast! I will say there were quite a few exhibits that were closed or looked rough, and we honestly didn't really see all that many animals. Idk if it was the time if day (late afternoon) or just an off weekend but I definitely expected more to be going on with the animals. But they can't be up and out constantly so I think we just caught them at nap time 😊

There were very few people there, so a lot of things were closed. But we had a great time, everything was well maintained, and the staff we saw were very friendly and informative. We were able to walk through an exhibit with loose wallabies, three of which had babies. The giraffes were so beautiful. We saw a baby zebra, a baby elephant, among others. The zoo is working to save endangered species. The lorakeet exhibit was amazing. I had two land on me to drink nectar from my cup. Most animals that were inside to get out of the drizzling rain, we could still see or get glimpses of through the clever viewing angles and variety of viewing spots. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt with the five stars, because I feel that if everything was open the experience would have been even better! We sit at the African Outpost. The food wasn’t amazing, but was much better than I’d expect from a tourist site. They actually had gluten-free buns. We had a burger and fries, and it was certainly better than fast food.

We arrived at opening and enjoyed two hours of exploring with no crowds. This is a fun zoo with lots of interesting animals and creative enclosures. PARKING: I bought a parking ticket online, and it was easy to find a spot. We didn't have to walk far. They have a parking lot.
ADMISSION: I bought the tickets online. I paid around $20 per person (adult). I thought the price was decent. We went on a Friday afternoon, and there was no line to buy tickets. I could've bought the tickets in person.
CLEANLINESS: I used the restrooms, and it was clean and had soap and papertowels. toilet paper and dryer. Also, each enclosure and section of the zoo are kept clean.
FOOD/DRINKS: They had water stations by the bathroom where you can get filtered water. The alcoholic drinks are priced super high. We got a pink cone with dole ice cream. It was good and pretty for pictures.
SHADE: It was hot. Some parts had shade but mostly expect to bring sunscreen, especially if you burn easily. They had buildings with air-conditioning.
ANIMALS: I've been to plenty of zoos, and this zoo is the first zoo that I can tell animals are happy. They were active. Their enclosures are very clean. You can tell that they are healthy. I didn't smell any foul smell. Usually, the zoo stinks, but not this one. One orangutan even interacting with us! She was very curious and gave everyone that comes in signal to look inside their bags. Some animals were sleeping, and some were playing. They had things in their enclosure that kept them entertained. We got there around 2 or 3 p.m., and they don't close until 6 pm. But they stop serving food and drinks around 5 pm. I wished we got there in the morning. We didn't get to see everything.
TL;DR Admission is decently priced. Animals are active. Plenty of parking. Food and drinks are priced high. They have water stations and the place is clean.

I have visited several times and recommended the winter months. Some animals are not on exhibit, but those that are out are more active, and there are fewer crowds at the exhibits.
Tips: Take a stroller or wheelchair if anyone in your party has difficulty walking.

The zoo was fun. I think they could have spent less on the decorations and put more money in exhibits. There was a lot of spaces with no animals to look at. Although it was crowded, everyone was kind and courteous. Love that they had scooters for people with mobility issues. I wish they stayed open later.

We often pick random things to do in our city or surrounding area. Making memories for our son to remember forever is so important. We hadn't been to the zoo in a while and wanted to check it out before we decided on getting a pass this summer. Despite it being snowy and dead and almost everything closed and many animals put indoors, it was still fun! We can't wait to come back in the summer. You could easily spend an entire day here, and it's great exercise!

To start, this is not Sea World or some other huge corporate entertainment facility. I did not go during peak season and it shows. Many food options were closed, not that I needed them. The good news is that there was no wait to see any of the animals!

We went to see the lights. The lights were really nice and fun. Definitely need to wait till it's fully dark to enjoy. The only disappointment was that they put away/blocked off the animal exhibits. We thought we would be getting to see the animals while looking at the lights. $20 per person feels like a but much when we couldn't see the animals as well. It was a nice walk though through the lights.

We enjoyed our visit, even though the weather wasn't the best! Most of the animals were out, the walking wasn't too bad, but usually zoos keep some things open when the weather is a little less than, but everything was closed. Everything. We've never seen a zoo so closed off, but this is only our fifth one so maybe it's always that way. We also didn't see a single employee the whole time, except for when we were at the gift shop at the very end, which was surprising, especially given the amount of people we saw and some of the behavior of some. We're going to try to come back on a nicer day to see if maybe our first impression wasn't totally accurate. Worth a visit!

The zoo was very well maintained and not too crowded. It was hot, the random misters on the path were a welcomed surprise. My son was thrilled to see both an African Elephant and an Asian Elephant. We went on a Sunday. The zoo had a nice variety of animals to see. Parking was easy once my husband stopped following Google maps instructions that told him to loop the circle a few times.

It was educational as there were staff through the park to talk about certain animals as well as displays. We enjoyed seeing the animals, of course. I didn't like seeing some of the animals without a companion, but that happens sometimes. They are set up for the evening Halloween event, so getting to see the decorations throughout the zoo was nice. Parking was cheaper than I thought it would be. My family had fun visiting.

This zoo has a very good spread of animals that were all very well cared for and easy to see. My family went on an overcast Saturday and got into the zoo with no wait and saw almost all of the animals, save ones not at the zoo entirely.
With that being said, this is obviously an old zoo and some parts of the facilities are clearly in need of updates. This does not affect the animals, but the consumer experience. They are clearly aware of these as some parts of the zoo were under renovation.
If you do plan to go to the zoo, plan on bringing your own snacks and food. There were places to stop regularly throughout the zoo, but the prices were fairly steep for the items, as to be expected.
I recommend ending your visit with a stop at the gift shop. These facilities are incredibly nice and have a wide range of items and prices to offer.
All and all a great family or couple experience!

I have been coming to this zoo since I was a small child and now bringing my kids back brings me such joy!! We have moved away and I live in the DC area and am near to •many• zoos.
I will say this- the pricing-the parking-the lay out and the enclosures of the Louisville have kept it in the top 5 zoos for me!!
They have continued to update enclosures, animal areas, and buildings.
The silver back gorillas enclosure is one of a kind!! My kids absolutely love being that close to these animals!
The goat petting area is always a hit! M
The elephant area is very neat to visit- the openness of the outside enclose for visitors to see is always a treat!
One of my favorite things about this zoo is the seasonal decorations it will have! Such as Chinese new year, Christmas.. etc
And when they are in season the camel riding is always a treat! (The camel riding is an extra fee)
My kids LOVE the carousel at the end!!
The splash pad is great during the summer!! (This is free to use!)
The educational “shows” are excellent- and while every animal isn’t out all the time that is VERY normal for a zoo! My kids LOVE coming to KY to visit family and go to the zoo!!
The gift shop prices are average for animal gift shops- the food prices are average for canteens and restaurants in zoos and aquariums.
Because it is Kentucky the layout of the zoo lends itself to the hilly terrain- which is unavoidable. I have walked this zoo pregnant, I’ve also walked it pushing a double stroller while carrying an infant. I have walked it with my grandparents who have both been in wheelchairs- though hilly it is still an easy zoo to walk.
We love this zoo and won’t be told otherwise!

We went to zoo to see the Lights in Fall 2023. They were awesome and we were still able to see a fee animals too. This exhibit is great for kids of all ages and our college kid loved it too.

The sculptures were so interesting and pretty. This was the first time I visited this zoo. It appears they are updating some of the enclosures to be more realistic to the natural habitats of the animals. I hope they continue this.

We decided to take the day off and drive to the zoo. They have a special for $7.95 on Monday. We had a blast. The facility is clean, the kids were happy, there are a ton of shady areas and places to sit and rest. They have free water stations throughout the park which is probably my favorite part.
Rachel Rice — Google review
Their enclosures need to be reviewed by an inspector because some of them are pretty unsafe for the public. The warthog enclosure is one good push away from having a child inside the enclosure. They have a wonderful bird exhibit. They charge for parking which is absolutely ridiculous considering people are coming to pay for the zoo. So on top of your admission you also have to pay for parking! They find every way to nickle and dime you. If they have a problem with people parking there and then leaving the property, then a quick tow truck call can fix that right up! We are active duty military and we had to pay 48 for a family of 3. Their price online says admission is $10 a person, but we very quickly found out that was a lie. We were told military get in free but that didn't happen for us. This is a big zoo and none of the outdoor vendor spots were open to sell hot cocoa or any food. The gift shop was highly overpriced. I just don't feel like this zoo really invests their money into their animals. It is clear the donors are the ones really paying for the upkeep of these animals.
Louisville Mega Cavern is a subterranean recreation center that offers activities such as zip lines, ropes courses, and underground bike park. It's one of the most popular attractions in Louisville due to its various adventure-focused activities.
This adventure was the best idea, something different, and it did not disappoint.
I registered, purchased tickets, and signed wavers all online and via digital delivery. It was so easy. I pulled up and drove around and found the location. There was not anyone else really around and even though there were signs I didn’t know what to do. I think those main tour doors needed to be construction orange or green with a big clear enter sign enter sign . There are lots of signs and info but needed to be a little more clear and simple..
After entering through the side and walking down a creepy hall, I walk into this massive room and there was the tram, and across the giant room was a town façade and waiting area. I made my way over and when walking into the underground welcome center was warmly greeting by seven or so staff. There was a gift shop, snack area, very nice restrooms, and an open indoor ropes course to the side.
My tour was the first of the day of a Thursday so that was probably why there was no crowd to follow but it added to the adventure for me! The price was $21.94 and the tour lasted a little over an hour. It was awesome to see the inside and understanding the history and purpose of the cavern and it’s evolution.
Shout out my tour guide Skeeter! He was the best! Great guide, extremely funny, and delivering an up beat, educational tour with a side of humor.
I won’t give away all the history and stories so there will not be any real spoilers from the tour but I will say this was a great experience and so glad a booked the tram tour. It was definitely something different and fun to do.

Super cool place! I have never taken a tram car thru a cavern before. Our guide was great, too. He explained everything in the cavern and how it was created. It was interesting enough down there to keep my 11 month old grandson occupied. I definitely will be back!
FYI, I have night vision on my phone. It is a lot darker than it looks...

We had a great time here. We decided on the walking tour, and it was pretty fun. The guide Olivia did a great job. It is a little pricey for what it is, but we are glad we did it. It is so neat down there. It is amazing how large it actually is in person. The entrance is a little weird, and we weren't sure we were in the right place. It is a long hallway that looks abandoned, but eventually opens up to the cave.

According to the owners quote, they "transform it into a holiday light spectacular for the Christmas season. "
If you consider displays of Marvel's avengers, Mario brothers, minions, and tanks to be part of the Christmas season, then I guess the quote is right.
Only about half of the 15 minute drive through was holiday-themed. It seems like the rest of it was put into place just as a filler.
Not to say it wasn't neat, but it's not as neat as they make it.
Brokk — Google review
The Louisville Mega Cavern tour proved to be a regrettable experience, particularly disappointing for several reasons. First and foremost, my visit did not coincide with the Christmas season, meaning that all the festive lights were packed away except for a few stray decorations lingering visibly, adding to the overall dreariness.
Furthermore, the cavern itself is not a natural formation, which diminished the excitement right from the start. The tour primarily focused on the cavern's history as a fallout shelter and a storage site for salt, interspersed with some rather dull videos. This narrative did little to enhance the experience, leaving me questioning the value of the tour.
The worst part, however, was the environment within the cavern. The air was thick with a dust reminiscent of a construction site, making it uncomfortable and raising concerns about its quality. Throughout the tour, the main sights were abandoned vehicles, sealed-off doors, and a collection of low-quality props—hardly the engaging or educational content one might expect.
Spending $20 and an hour of my time in an artificially excavated, dusty cavern observing these lackluster displays was frustrating. With the money and time at hand, almost any other destination would have provided a better experience. This was the first time I truly felt someone dared to charge $20 for a tour of what felt like a vast, polluted parking garage. The disappointment was profound, and I would strongly advise against this tour for anyone looking for a meaningful or enjoyable outing.

The zip line tour is so cool, we’re big zip line fans and doing everything in the dark with bright lights was something new and we had a really good time. The tour guides make you feel confident and safe about the whole experience. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Excellent tour with our tour guide Skeeter. Skeeter did a good job of providing us with laughs while also giving us the history of the caverns.
My family and I chose the Tram tour since we have a small child. It is cool in the cavern but not cold. We were fine with a light jacket.
It's not really a lot to see if you don't Zipline or do more of the exciting attractions. Kids might get a little bored on the tram.
It is a huge place, I think about 17 miles and the tram is about 2 miles long. It's a unique experience and one I'd definitely say to give a try.

We came here to do the Mega Quest aerial adventure course! The guides explained everything well and were friendly and helpful. We felt completely safe and confident in using our gear, the belays are easy and intuitive to use. I liked that it wasn’t a linear course, and you could go through it at your own pace and choose which routes to take. The short zip lines in it were our favorite! You’re also allowed to leave the course at any time to take a break and remove your helmet and gloves, just don’t take off your harness because then you are done. You get two hours on the course which was more than enough time, we even ended up finishing a little early because we were so sore!
I recommend short sleeves because you get really sweaty, however personally I’d recommend long pants because with all the ropes on the course, I did get a couple small rope scrapes. Nothing terrible, just keep that in mind!
There are lockers to store anything you don’t want to take/wear on the course, but it takes quarters so make sure you bring cash or prepare to use the on site ATM that charges a fee. Make sure to have cash to tip your guides too! They’re working hard for you!
We live in Ohio but I’d love to come back some day to try the full zip line course or the tram tour!

I purchased the Mega Tram ticket since I was already doing so much walking on my vacation. I called before hand and was told that the Mega Tram and the Mega Walking tours covered the same route. Our tour guide was great and made jokes along the way. The cavern was a pleasant temperature since I visited on the hottest day of the year. Definitely worth seeing if you want a break from the heat of summer but not what I would consider over the top exciting or a must-see. I like caves and caverns so I enjyed it.

We had a walking tour with Sophia. The tour was informative and interesting. There are a lot of cool facts and funny jokes as you go along.
Some cool lights to see as well in the dark.
The space could have more cool displays added with time. The adventure gym seems cool and the zip liners seemed to have fun.

Much cooler than I expected! Mega Cavern is an old limestone mine that is massive. It has some interesting history as well once being a fallout shelter. Now it is a driving tour, adventure area, zip line tour, light show and even commercial storage. Worth the visit!

This was an absolutely amazing experience for the whole family. There's a display for everyone. Dinosaurs, Christmas scenes, marvel comics characters, heavy machinery, veterans, Disney and other characters, America/USA, and amazing light shows at several places. Very entertaining and we will definitely be back again. We'll probably take the guided wagon ride through next time just for the better view!

Well worth the cost. Lots to do while waiting. I was disappointed in the gift shop. They seem to have cut back after Covid. Our tour guide was very informative. In the picture of the original caverns look close and see a man standing in the original 60 foot high cavern. They hauled in 40 feet of fill.

We did the walking tour and it was pretty cool - the lights make it fun and it’s interesting to hear the history of the cavern. Our guide talked a LOT - could be good for people who enjoy awkward jokes and hearing the same voice non-stop, but it wasn’t for us. Might have been better with a different guide. Entrance is through a long hallway, just keep going even if it feels like you’re not at the right place.

We visited, and went on the walking tour through the Cavern, which is very much worth adding to your list of things to see/do while visiting Louisville. We explored the Cavern with a guide named Sophia, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. At the end of the tour I asked how many times she had walked the cavern/given the tour. Expecting her answer to be in the hundreds, I was amazed to hear that it was her very first solo tour through the Cavern. She did an absolutely incredible job, and we left with a great bit of interesting information regarding the history of the Cavern, and would absolutely visit again.

More then worth the drive. The kids loved it and it was just enough time spent driving thru before it became too much. Xmas Eve was the right time to go and the price wasn't overpriced by any means. Music and lights were fabulous

A very unique display of lights, nothing compares. If you have your tickets on your phone, there's no reception in the cave at the attendant, so maybe take a picture of it, they do have your name so not a problem

Absolutely loved it. We went on a weekday and got there around 10:30 to 11:00. There was no wait and we drove right in. The beginning was good and it just kept getting better and better as we went through. The finale at the end was the best experience. I highly recommend it for both kids and adults as there's plenty to see for both.
The Kentucky Derby Museum is a heritage museum located in Louisville, Kentucky that preserves the history of the famed horse race. The museum features exhibits on the race and its participants, as well as an event space that can be rented out for weddings or other private parties.
I haven’t bet or even watched any Derby before, but after my visit, I am definitely trapped by its charisma.
The introductory movie is nice. It gives you all the details about the game. But what’s really amazing about this visit, is the tour after the movie.
We went to the field where Kentucky Derby has taken place for more than 140 years. I learned a lot about the horse, the Jockey, the game, the price of seats and how the field is maintained.
The visit really opens my eyes to a whole new world that I have not touched before. It’s a wonderful visit!!!
Even you are not a Derby fan, you should check this museum out. It’s worthy!!!

We showed up and did the Barns and Backside tour, which is an hour, then did the walking tour an hour after that concluded. Really great tours. We went to the museum in between the tours and saw the greatest race movie. Currently a lot of construction but it'll be great once it's done. Highly recommend the tours. The barns and backside gets you to the other side of the track, which is nice, but I wish we could have walked into the barn area, although I understand why we couldn't. Great experience.

A very affordable and informative tour. I was able to ask questions of the guide both during and after the tour. The amount of knowledge he had was incredible. We got to walk out to the track and see where it is that the horses run. Hard to believe more than 150k people can fit!
Outside of the tour, the museum has so much available information for you to read and go through. There are incredible artifacts and interactive features to engage with. We really enjoyed the 360° video experience as well.

Lots of history and a great location to visit even if you are not totally an avid fan and follower of horse racing. The tour and museum will give you a solid understanding of the sport, both past and present. I recommend anyone coming to do one of the two tours available to get the most of your trip here. Just simply walking around the museum is not enough. The tours are between 1-1hr 30 min and you can either tour the grandstand and spectator areas or the stalls for the horses.

Very interesting place about Derby History, you have to take the tour to the barns to see the horses but you have to be older than 8 years old. The history tour is very interesting and it was so cool to hear about the history and care they give to the horses definitely a must seen spot of Louisville 😉

Worth stopping to see even if passing through. The 18 minutes video plays every hour. You can watch it from the second floor or inside the room. I recommend getting to museum at top of the hour to watch The Greatest Race for better appreciation of the museum if you know little to none on this American tradition.
The walking tour is great. Tour guide was high in spirits, knowledgeable, and respectful to keep guest in shade on a hot day.

Book in advance!!! We woke up Saturday morning and decided we would add this to our list for the day. The website showed all times for the tour were still available, so I decided to wait until we got there, since I wasn't sure when we'd arrive. We got there about 2pm and all the tours were full. We still paid full price to see the museum. Plenty of free parking was available! There is a lot to see and do in this small museum. Very informative! My daughter loved the exhibits and being hands on with racing equipment. Secretariat’s exhibit was amazing! The employees were very friendly! The store was a bit over priced and very small. The café closed at 3pm which seemed kind of early too for me.

Visited Churchill Downs at Louisville, Kentucky. Loved the museum and watched the history of Churchill Downs too in a 360 degree auditorium screen. Had taken the tour too to see where the most attended and most watched horse race takes place in the United States. Would love to come back to Churchill Downs in May to watch the Derby in person. One can buy different memorabilia from the gift shop too.

The short film, " The Greatest Race" is stunning! I might be addicted because I kept going back to watch it. Warning, it may give you goosebumps and a sudden urge to buy a racehorse!
Let's not forget, there is a gift shop. I absolutely loved the displays. The products are quality and the prices are reasonable.

I visited the museum as part of its annual Horses and Haunts Tour during October. Our guides Heather and Molly were excellent guides, providing a lot of history to this native and Derby attendee (for 45+ years)! It was super cool to see the track at night and hear these stories under the hallowed spires. Highly recommend visiting the museum and taking advantage of this tour every October!

Girl Scouts have an opportunity to earn a patch here as well.

This is a must if you are in Louisville and are interested in the history of horse racing. Our tour guide Max was wonderful- we took a chance on the day that we went and were blessed to have seen an actual horse race which was for selling of the horses. There is a lot of history- we highly recommend that when you take the tour you ask as many questions as you possibly can as it makes it more interesting for both you as a spectator and for the tour guides as well. The museum has a lot of information so plan to spend a good amount of time there. It is also interesting for kids of all ages - there are video horse races that you can choose your own horse and ride and control the horse, there are life-size mannequins and horses of great history and there is even a mock starting gate for you to climb onto a horse for a great photo opportunity. Should you get a bit hungry there is the Derby Cafe where you can get a quick bite to eat however check for when it is open as it was closed on Sunday which we were aware of and plan for accordingly. Highly recommend

Really cool to be on the grounds of something that you've only seen on TV completely packed with people. The museum gave a great history of the race, the grounds, the horses and the jockeys. The 360 degree movie was super heartwarming and a great addition to the museum. The track tour was cool. The facts about the grounds were very interesting. There is a lot of construction going on right now so the cranes and such were in a lot of my photos. The staff helping in the front were not super friendly or helpful with providing what was available that day. The entire thing was definitely something to see, not sure if I'll be back again.

The behind the scenes tour was phenomenal- Barry, the guide was extremely passionate, patient and knowledgeable. His passion for the Derby was infectious! The actual museum was interesting but nothing compared to being able to drive past the stables , talk to the hands and hear all of the interesting rid bits. What a great find! The KY Derby Museum was better than I expected. They have an excellent film and a beautiful museum that covers all parts of horse racing - horses, jockeys, trainers, owners, and Churchill Downs, and more. The trackside tour is informative and engaging. We saw a few horses and riders on the course, too.
We also purchased the Barn & Backside Tour. It was cool to see some of the Derby horses already housed here. We saw a few horses arriving in preparation for the Derby.

We were visiting from out of state and specifically stopped in this area to visit Churchill Downs. There were not races at the time, but we did visit the museum and I will say it was amazing, even my non-horsey family enjoyed this experience. If you plan to visit, I would recommend purchasing tickets prior to arrival, this will ensure you are not spending a long amount of time in line, it will also preserve your space to see the track tour which is awesome. The docents that walk you into the track have years of Churchill Downs track experience and love sharing their experiences and track history with you. The visual inside the track is beautiful and a great picture opportunity. If you get an early enough walk through you may get to see horses working out on the track. Also, while there be sure to watch the track movie. It is extremely well done and touching if you are at all interested in horses, horse racing, or are just the idea.
The museum is two floors with the first floor dedicated to track and track racing history. The second floor is dedicated to exhibits about Secretariat (racehorse), D. Wayne Lukas (trainer), and Bill Shoemaker (jockey), they are all very well done.
I would also recommend, at the end of your visit, taking a stop into their cafe and try out a Mint Julip and one of their sandwiches.
Overall, this was a great experience at $20/person, I would definitely recommend visiting this gorgeous museum.

An amazing place to visit. We went there this mid-week in a large group and bought tickets in advance. The experience was very good. We learned many things about the Kentucky Derby and all of its history. All the guides were super friendly and cordial. We had the guided tour which was a very unique experience to learn and visit this museum. There was a 360 degree movie called "The Greatest Race" included in the tour. That was a unique experience to have. There was a gift shop there that has a large variety of souvenirs and hats. Overall, this museum is very good to explore. Churchill Downs is a horse racing track located in Louisville, Kentucky. It has hosted the Kentucky Derby since 1875 and is also a National Historic Landmark. The track usually seats up to 50,000 people, but on Derby Day it can hold up to 150,000 spectators.
We paid $17 each for a 30 minute tour of the grounds as well as entrance to the museum. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and encouraged us often to ask questions. As a childhood fan with very little knowledge of the history race, I was amazed with the history our tour guide was able to share in just the 30 minutes we were there. If you know more than me, you might ask questions and be pleasantly surprised to hear her explain Churchill Downs trivia. Since it was only a 30 minute tour, we didn't go far from the museum, but we did get to see the track and the winners circle under the twin towers! The museum is quite large and holds of a lot of interesting facts as well as interactive and informative games for some of the younger (or young at heart) crowd. 10/10, must visit!

One of the coolest things I've ever done! If you have the chance, visit Churchill Downs. It's an experience you'll never forget! When we visited, they had a bunch of food trucks in the vicinity. It was neat because you could walk around to a couple of food trucks, purchase some drinks, dance to the live music, and then go watch the horse races. Very interesting museum visit and short tour. The entry fee includes an immersive 18-minute video on a 360-degree screen with surround sound, all museum exhibits, and a 30-minute tour. There are rotating stools for viewing the video so you can easily spin and see everything. Our tour guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Videos are shown at ten minutes past every hour with a ten minute intro on the hour. Tours begin on the half hour, and the guide picks you up in the theater, which is called The Great Hall. There is a nice gift shop with loads of merchandise and a cafe that can both be visited for free. The only issue we observed is that the parking lot is quite small, so leave extra time for arrival, as your reserved video and tour times are set.

We went to the November live races and I would rate that a 5. We bought tickets to the millionaire’s row section which was great and included a buffet and all you can drink soda. The buffet was very disappointing. It went from 1 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. We got our food at 1:15 P.M. after the first race was done. The pasta was warm to cool in temperature, the chicken was dry. The dessert selection was very messy in presentation. That lowered our rating. Is that really how it is for the Kentucky Derby when people are paying $10,000 or more for tickets? Thank goodness ours were $61 each (includes entry to Churchill Downs).

Definitely recommend purchasing tickets for tour ahead of time and including the video and track tour. We had our tour at the end of the day so we didn’t get to enjoy the museum before the tour. Plan for more time on the front or backend to be able to wander through the museum.

We went to Opening Night 2024 at Churchill Downs. It was a great night. I enjoyed the night racing. However, they need to improve on their food concessions. We spent $65 for 2 burgers, bratwurst, and sprite. There was no lettuce, tomatoes on burgers. We couldn't get mustard or ketchup either, and fries were cold. For the price you pay, they should have a condiment station at least.

There are few greater places in the entire world than the Legendary Churchill Downs.
Fortunes have been won, and fortunes have been lost.
At times, the rush of nostalgia will rush over you, coupled with the roar of the crowd, and the thunderous stampede of the thoroughbreds down the back stretch.
Memories are made here that last a lifetime.
The sun always shines bright at this Ole Kentucky home.
And you ain't never been anywhere, or seen anything, until you've witnessed a Kentucky Derby in person.

My wife and I toured this well-known site in late February and unfortunately, it was cold and windy. But we were still able to walk through the stands to the finish line and the guide braved the nasty weather to give us some interesting tidbits and insider info. The museum is also a must-see, especially if you are a horse racing enthusiast. The museum offers a well-rounded history of Churchill Downs, the horses that have run there as well as the jockeys, trainers, and other workers who made the Kentucky Derby world famous. I’d love to see a race here!

The museum was actually much bigger than I thought it would be and much more interesting that I thought it would be so I ended up thinking it was worth the money to get in. It also included a tour down to the stands which was pretty cool to see and able to see the track up close as just part of the basic tour is a very cool place to go with a lot of history.

Very beautiful historical racetrack to visit. It was great taking the tour that is offered at the museum.
I would love to experience a race event in person some day.

Home of the most famous race in the world the Kentucky Derby. I would have loved to go to one of the races but I came here in the off season when there were no races running at all. There are a lot of different tours to go on: Backstretch Workout Tour, Barn and Backside Tour, Black Heritage in Racing Tour, Bourbon and Bridles Experience, Race Day Experience, Hermitage Farm and Derby Museum Tour, Ultimate Churchill Downs Tour, Throughbred Workout Tour, Superstars and Spires tour (I really wanted to go to this one but it was sold out), Guided Track Visit. I went to this last one, you got to see the track as well as the grandstand. Nice quick tour if you aren't a big fan or in a pinch for time but I definitely recommend the other tours if you are a big fan.

An amazing experience to watch a live Horse race. You can't imagine how good a vibe is created during the horse race. We bought tickets in advance. We watched almost all the races that day. Very good experience. There were plenty of food courts inside. Next year, we are planning to go there to experience the Kentucky Derby that has almost 170,000 viewers. In Louisville, this place is a must visit.

Went here for Kentucky derby 2023 and it was a great time! Highly recommend a box seat and near the finish line. Drinks and food were basic but all inclusive. Cigars cost extra. Definitely a great once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent tour and was amazing to see this historic place in person. A shame I wasn't born when Secretariat run the Derby in 1973. His record still stands. There is a beautiful display about him on the second floor of the museum adjacent to Churchill Downs.

2024 opening day at Churchill downs. Very organized this year. Signs on Taylor boulevard navigated me to the Blue parking pot were my ticket was valid to park. There was plenty of parking still available as well as handicap. I was close to the entrance but still had a goal cart rode for free to the door. I went to a gala in the Trophy room on the 6th floor. The attendants are not very knowledgeable about navigating to the right places. But overall I jad a blast and Churchill downs gets better and better every year.
Contemporary museum featuring collections of old automobiles built from the 1900s to the 1960s.
had a day to kill and stopped in this afternoon. it was smaller than I had expected, we got through in about 45 min. well worth the visit. a good collection of beautiful cars. guy at the desk was friendly.
not much to do in this area, this was worth the visit

The owners here are the best! My husband and I stopped to look at the car collection, and we were not disappointed! The cars are pristine and such beauties each with their own personality. I highly recommend stopping. You'll be glad you did.

Beyond beautiful collection of cars. Being from Detroit and seeing all the packards makes me wish I was alive back in the days to see the city in it's prime. So many all original cars in this collection. If you're looking for beefed up muscle cars he has a few but if you're looking for some classic cars that are beyond beautiful this is the place. And it's free too. Highly recommend stepping back in time and take the time to see how far cars have come. Unreal !!!

We were unsure whether we had time to stop during our road trip. The free admission actually had us worried the 25 minute detour was not going to be warranted. However... this place was amazing. There are a lot more vehicles than expected and all are beautifully kept. The folks working the museum shared personal stories about each car, answered questions and even opened up the cars to show us more features. This stop is well worth it! They even have restrooms available. We spent just over an hour there before returning to our road trip.
Bravo to these fine folks for sharing this collection with the community.

Beautiful! If you have time to stop, we highly recommend looking. You could pop in for a few minutes or spend an hour reading all the information related to each car.

Quick and easy stop in Elizabethtown if you want to explore some historic automobiles from 1910 to the late 60’s and beyond. Quite the collection, free of charge, make sure you sign the guest book when you visit. I was ordered by my cousin to give this review 4.8 stars, because he saw no Lincolns, all joking aside, great collection with some awesome history.

Lots of beautiful cars and it's free! The woman there knew everything about each car. Very knowledgeable, and offered to give us a guided tour but we turned her down because she had just started her lunch. After she finished she gave us all her attention. Could have spent a lot longer there, but had other plans. We will stop back.

Randomly stopped into this car museum (Free!) on a road trip with my tween boys and they loved it! The woman there was as so friendly and knowledgeable, and she asked the boys if they wanted any of the hoods opened to see the engines. What a special hidden gem!

On a family road trip and we stopped by. It was great! You have cars from the early 1900's through the 60s. There's a lot of information on each of the cars and you can even request a tour. My 11 & 6 year olds really enjoyed it, and it's free. Doesn't get any better than that. Definitely recommend stopping by.

SO GOOD! This is a definite must see even if you're not a car person it's free so why not stop in you will not be disappointed and afterwards you may be a car person. I don't consider myself a car person but I have an appreciation for nostalgic things and this car collection is amazing. It has some things in there that you don't typically see. I really appreciate the family keeping this going since Bill has passed away.
