Reenactment of an 1800s village & a below-ground geological wonder, plus fishing & horse trails.
We had difficulty getting to the actual spot where the cave tour began as there are 2 separate parts of the state park. This didn't seem clear on the website. That being said, they caught us up with the group quickly and the cave was amazing! It is 48° year round so prepare accordingly. The formations are dimly lit so I recommend bringing a flashlight. I'm glad I did. I would have liked to explore a larger portion of the cave, but I enjoyed the parts that they made accessible. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the discussions interesting. Well worth the price of admission for the "scenic tour".

Mystery cave is a must see, but the rest of the park has little to offer guests except some hiking. The one event that had been scheduled was cancelled, which was disappointing. The bridge was out as well so it is a 20 minute drive to Historic forestville and it was closed and buildings border up. You can self tour if you want, you just can't go in the buildings. Hopefully things go back to normal next year for them. Camp grounds were clean and well maintained.

On my cross-country journey this past August, I stopped at this gem of a MN State Park for one night. Too late to explore the cave, I was still able to get a large, clean, private tent site, set up, and take a walk. Wow, I'm so glad I did. I ended up taking the Spring Trail down to the river. Dusk was falling so I did not go any further than the bridge, but the beauty and serenity of this park allowed me a great leg-stretcher and a fine night's sleep.

We decided to walk around at the main park for a bit before our cave tour. The cave is not at the main park so you will have to drive for about 7 minutes to get from the main park to the cave. The road has large brown signs that indicate where you need to go so even if you don't have the cave address or your GPS doesn't have signal, you can still find the cave by following the signs.
The park was large and I believe I heard some say there are more than 16 miles of trails. Lots of room for campers and tent camping. We also noticed lots of spots in the parking lots of handicap parking.
The historic town area has the bridge blocked off as they are working on repairs and historical preservation so to see the historical town, you'll need to drive to the other side which takes a while from what I saw. We did not end up going since we didn't have a lot of extra time.
Park staff was very helpful and informative.

Forestville was very pretty but very exhausting on the way up. Ended very well. No groomed trails made the hike a challenge.

We had a great scenic tour! I took my 5 kids and one in a stroller. The pathways are narrow so a double stroller or wide wheelchair will struggle to make it through. The welcome center has a learning center that is interesting for kids and adults. All around a great place with reasonable prices and options for those who want a more hands on cave experience. NO CELLPHONE SERVICE once you drive onto the park so make sure you remember which turns to take on the way out. It is a few minutes drive before cell service returns for GPS.

Stayed at the park, tent camping. The sites are very nice with a fire ring and grill. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible.
The trail system is nicely labeled and the forest is quiet and tranquil, with bird singing.
The only problems I encountered was the showers do not allow you to adjust the temperature and thus, I had a cold shower in the morning. Also, the bridge to the historical village is out of commission.

Signs to get to the right part of the park are fantastic in this area. If you need to get to the cave tours, just plug in the park to get to the general area and follow the signs after that. We took the 2 hour geology tour in the caves with my 8 and 9 yo, and it was a total blast with great information. Well worth the longer tour and slightly higher price. Easy hikes in the park with a great lookout point. Forestville ghost town has 1 hour tours that we really enjoyed to see how people loved during the 1800’s. Perfect family outing day when you do all three!!

Why had I never heard of this place? It's awesome! Beautiful hiking, amazing wildflowers, cool historic ghost town. And the cave tour!? Awesome. Our guide, Trev, was so informative and very patient with my super curious ten year old who had a million questions. Then in the visitor center, Dan, at the information desk, was so kind to that same child and had a 15 minute conversation about becoming a geologist. My geology-loving daughter loved every minute and the rest of us enjoyed ourselves too. We'll definitely be back to do the other tours. Such a cool place!

We did the $15 tour for 1 hour. Our guide was very informative and the cave was really interesting! Just as they say online, it was 48° in the cave, we were glad we had our coats on! I appreciate how our guide emphasized the value of our impact on the environment & how it connects to what they witness in the caves as well. Our group was a range of ages from 5 - 55, I'd say. Definitely family friendly.

My kids and I did an overnight camp here. We had an amazing time! The cave was very interesting! Enjoyed our guide and the experience. The restored historic Forestville was also very interesting and an enjoyable experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we all had a good time. We walked up Zumbro hill to the old grave yard and found it well maintained and really interesting to see the old graves from the 1800’s. Look forward to going back again soon.

We had a class dance there, and the three course meal was awesome. The beef was cooked and seasoned better than any meat I’ve had before. My visit was not a normal one so I can’t judge how good it is normally, but from what I’ve seen it is a great place to visit.
George R — Google review
I've been to a solid number of wineries in my lifetime, and Four Daughters has always been the best. I first went there in 2014 and have basically been thinking about it ever since then. It's about three hours away from my house in a direction we don't go very often, so I didn't get the chance to go back until ten years after the fact. I made a special detour to go by myself, and I didn't have very long, but I got to do a white wine tasting and have the cheeseburger. Truly one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had - and the fries too. Parmesean truffle fries. There wasn't a single wine I didn't like. The moscato-ish one was a bit too sweet, but I would still happily drink it. The Brianna is my absolute favorite, but any of the whites are really spectacular. If you like wine even a little bit - if you like cheeseburgers even a little bit - you have GOT to go.

At Four Daughters Winery you will feel so relaxed just like you are at home. The wines and Loon Juices are all so delicious. The Pinot Noir is a red wine that is perfectly sweet. The specialty wine flight is my favorite. Try the dessert- It is FABULOUS! Our favorite part is the seasonally changing menu. We have gone to several dinner events and they wow us every time!

The charcuterie board was excellent we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly don’t usually like them. Because the cheese is usually flavorless and the meats are cheap. They were the opposite it was very good! I got the cheeseburger meal and it was the best burger I’ve had in along time. The meat was tasted like a mixture of high grade steak with grass fed burger. Flavorful and the texture was just right. To call it a hamburger doesn’t do it justice.

Great experience. Loon juice (cider) flights were a hit for non-wine drinkers. Mix of Minnesota grown grapes(Marquette) and California grapes barreled and aged on-site. We had the Sangiovese wine after trying a flight. Excellent pizza. Italian sausage, rosemary, and pistachio was very good, but the pepperoni and corn on the cob was the bomb. Totally unexpected. The smoked corn with cheese..... I could go on and on. It disappeared from the plates quickly. Did I say the pizza was great?
Lance G. — Google review
What a delightful experience for lunch! Our kids enjoyed the pizza, and my husband and I loved the sirloin-lobster special and the apple-walnut salad. I liked the Big Boy Red blend wine and my husband liked the Loon Juice rosé. We loved the vibe and modern architecture of this place. We live in the Twin Cities, and we were visiting the area, and think it’s worth a special trip there.
Jill Hanson-Follingstad — Google review
Very nice winery. They have wine, ciders and bourbon. The ciders we tried were good. They do flights for all three of them. The maple bourbon was also good. The food we got was very good. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The food prices seemed high.

This winery has some fantastic wines that would easily rival most wine country vineyards on the West Coast. Superb selection of reds and whites. To add to that, they also make excellent apple cider. There is a menu of pizzas, cheese plates, and other foods as well. Baby friendly. Very friendly staff. And to add to all of that, there is also a distillery in the back serving up some good bourbon. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.
Christopher Walker — Google review
It was a nice experience. The first problem was that they had our group seated at a high-level table, which wasn't appropriate for a person in a wheelchair. When reservations were made, a table that was suitable for a wheelchair was asked for. So they put us in the back room. We were forgotten about when they were serving and was often last. If the owners knew you, they catered to you more than the other guests. Problems could have been avoided if attention to detail was made. Also, not having enough help was a problem checking on all guests to see if everything is okay would be good . The food and music were great.

Was ordering from a lady who was training in a new person and I was taken aback by her rudeness. This was my first time there and felt that rather than a kind explanation I received a lecture along with dirty looks. I was told to go to the bourbon bar to get my drinks (I ordered at the wine bar because I didn't know) so I did but when the lady from the bourbon kindly walked my drinks to my table she glared at me. My friends have complaints of their own as well but I won't speak for them . The wine and bourbon were good but we did not feel like making purchases after this unwelcoming experience.
Kelly Whitters — Google review
The food here, while outstanding, lends itself to a larger crowd and big eats. The menu here is very small and they don't really have normal appetizers like some starch and dip or small plates. I ordered the carrot and parsnip soup. I was wonderfully surprised at the depth of flavor and presentation. It was a huge hit for me! It was representative of a top notch chef in the kitchen and definitely makes me want to return when I get a bigger appetite. The wine was crisp and tasty! Highly enjoyable, but it wasn't really like a fine wine you get at a steakhouse. Sweet winery wine, which is okay, but I'd rather enjoy the food and scenery, to be honest. Have been here before in the past and always enjoyed myself, it did not disappoint post-Covid. I just wish the menu had come back to its former self.
A must see on the days it is open to the public. So much history has been preserved here. Well worth the time.

We absolutely loved our visit to Mayowood. Our guide, Nancy, was phenomenal! The pace was perfect & she pointed out details & answered our many questions. Her passion for The Mayo family & property is engaging. Loved every minute! Thank you for an enduring memory!
Michelle — Google review
Grace was a phenomenal tour guide!! My 11 year old said that she was the best tour guide he has ever had! She had an extensive knowledge of the house and even a personal relationship with some of the family. We loved getting to know about the Mayo family and the legacy they left. Mayowood mansion is a lovely home and we would highly recommend this tour!
Ruth Hanson — Google review
I love a good house tour and Mayowood is really interesting. It's $20 but you get a very comprehensive tour, almost two hours, and the house is much bigger than it looks from the outside! It's also a nice glimpse into the Mayo family itself (and I wasn't sure if other Mayo-centric options were open to me as a non-patient.)
It's best to reserve your place ahead of time - I got there *right* at tour time (the top of the hour) and I think I missed a little at the beginning. If you don't reserve ahead of time, it's cash only, so be warned. The staff are super nice and the tour was fun. No pictures inside though!
Sara Beth Wade — Google review
What a beautiful home and such a fun tour!! We were extremely fortunate enough to have Grace as our tour guide. She was BY far the very best tour guide both my husband and I have ever had on any guided tour….ever. If there is a why to find out her schedule, I highly suggest going in her tour! She was incredibly knowledgeable and such a delight to listen to.
Tessa Fredman — Google review
Well worth the stop, so glad we finally seen it! The staff is so friendly and full of knowledge, we learned so mutch during our visit.
They do not allow photos of the inside but it was such a pleasant experience you can forgive that point.
The older gentleman who was our tour guide was so overflowing with information we could of chatted with him for hours. He really made the whole thing so enjoyable! Sorry but its been three weeks and I am unsure of his name now or I would post it.
Seeing Mayowood is like stepping back in time to a period long gone in American history. And you get a glimpse of the life of the Mayo family. Find out the days they do the tours and immerse your self in the past if only for a little while.

Dec. 15, 2023 11:30 am tour - I am from Hawaii. My husband is here for Mayo Clinic treatments. This was my 2nd tour. The first was 6 years ago. The Christmas decorations are amazing and beautiful! Jean, our tour guide was excellent. Loved her energy! She knew her history well and was more informative. The stories of the Mayo children were precious!
The Mayo family left such gift to the community and world. I highly recommend watching the documentary: The Mayo Clinic. Faith, Hope and Science
[An elevator and an attendant is available for those who cannot manage the two flight of stairs.]

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Went in winter with a tour group, so indoors only. Very crowded with back-to-back groups...made it hard to enjoy. Also, our guide was knowledgeable, but very brusk. She could have handled the rules a bit more diplomatically. 🙄 Beautiful house, but $25 @ Christmas is a bit steep for mostly roped off rooms.
Paula B (Italian Girl) — Google review
Very knowledgeable tour guides. I love hearing the story.
Cindy Ternes — Google review
We have toured a lot of historic homes and this was one of the best tour guides we have had anywhere. She was full of information, fun facts, and had a great personality. The house is lovely, and the art, furniture, etc. is extraordinary. If you enjoy old houses and interesting history, this is must see tour. The flowers and surrounding area are quite beautiful as well.
Corey Leet — Google review
Pay $20 for a ticket... "You are unable to take photographs" the tour guide exclaims when starting the hour long tour, so don't expect to be able to take any pictures. We got a snap from outside the building before entering. The mansion itself had some good features but we were unable to see some parts of it due to various stated reasons (fresh paint, construction, weather, etc.). The garden and surrounding land also look interesting but you are unable to explore it in any depth.
Chad Rose — Google review
I really liked the house and how each person that came into the home had changed it for the better.
A lot of kids roam those halls.
It was interesting to see you that those kids are not born into money. The brothers they earned it being doctors
But however time the house started to age and how much money it took to keep it up and how they had to start selling piece of the property off to pay for it to keep it up
It was sad that none of the kids wanted the house but I could understand just too much money
Park featuring hiking trails, a campground, picnic areas, a playground & a zoo with native animals.
Oxbow is such a unique spot to get out and and enjoy the outdoors. It is hard to beat the experience and scenery at no cost. My wife and I went for our first time in the winter and tried out the cross country ski trail. Ski rentals included everything we needed and you cannot beat the $5 price. The trail was beautiful and visiting the zoo after was just the cherry on top. Can not say enough good things and can't wait to go back when the new nature center opens in the coming year.
Devon Stonerock — Google review
This is a nice, quiet place to spend an afternoon or to take the children. The cages/pens are a bit small. The animals do not seem that happy in my opinion. On that note, they have it posted that plans are underway to remedy that. There will be more room for the animals. I'm sure that will make them happy. It was feeding time when I arrived. That did not interfere with the viewing. Instead it enhanced my visit. Masks were required if you wanted to enter the building with the bathrooms and snakes etc. It was very clean and well maintained. The Elk were very active. I am looking forward to revisiting once the improvements are completed. If a person is wheelchair bound, they may have some difficulty getting around as there isn't a continuous path that leads to all of the exhibits. One must walk through the grass for some of the bigger animals (Elk, Bison etc.).

We stopped in March on a weekend that was 63’. We wanted to walk around a bit, not didn’t want to drive forever.
I haven’t been out here since they built the new building and removed the boardwalk. It’s a beautiful building with lots to see and do. I can’t imagine a child who wouldn’t enjoy it, I did as an adult.
It’s clean, bright, and accessible to all. There is a donation box at the entrance, please consider a donation. Even a few dollars per person to help keep a park like this free for everyone. We have only $10, just because we appreciated it that much.

Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo was absolutely amazing. It’s a gem out in the middle of almost nowhere.
They have naturalist programs, campgrounds, picnic shelters, 8 miles of hiking trails, fishing, water access, snowshoeing, and groomed ski trails. It is fantastic to find.
this is a great place to bring the family. Let the kids run with the supervision, of course. The zoo is even fun with a boardwalk around all of the exhibits and beautiful flowers and gardens.
Steve Moses — Google review
I love the zoo and I always have. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I still come back at least once a year to see the animals, my favorites being the otters, the bear, and the goats. It's barely changed at all in 15+ years. I'll have to come back soon because this place truly holds a special place in my heart!!!! It's also free and wheelchair accessible!

This organization is AMAZING. The animals are well cared for and they work hard to provide for them all the best possible environment they can. Reading each animal's story was super interesting and hits you in the feels. The bison were super cool to see as well since we got to get up close and peer through the fence area at these magnificent creatures. Their new facility/building is really nice too and definitely built with education in mind. Definitely bring the kiddos and if you're feeling adventurous camp there too!

This is a great place to take kids of all ages. We enjoyed the hiking up into bluffs along the Meadows Trail and of course the animals. We had a bunch of kids who had never been there before so it was exciting. The interactive park was also very fun and the variety of Minnesota animals was impressive. The park and zoo are free but donations are welcome. A great resource in the area for families.
Daniel Mueller — Google review
Nice little zoo of raptors that were injured in the wild. Some common farm animals. There are native flower gardens. There is an interesting playground for children with an architectural sand digging pit for artifacts.
Margaret McDonough — Google review
Really amazing to think a place like this can be free entrance and runs on donations. The animals and areas are clean and well kept. The animal area open at 10am not 5am like indicated in their Google page so keep that in mind. The areas opened at 5am are the kids play area and hiking. There’s camping grounds near worth checking it out. Truly enjoyed about 2.5hrs here. And plan on coming back again.
J S — Google review
This is a cool little place! The new building is nice. The park has a solar system theme to it mixed in with other things. My kids love the sand pit and the water feature. The zoo is cool because the animals are from Minnesota. We even got to see some Minnesotans in their natural habitat the last time we visited (some workers painting a habitat).

My step Mom & I brought my 2 yr old nephew & 7yr old niece here to check out the animals & play. They had a wonderful time feeding the animals, walking around, there was plenty of shade outside, and educational m, fun things things inside as well. The play area was tons of fun for younger kiddos, & there was activities for children a bit older as well. Both kids enjoyed looking at the inside animal’s as well.

FREE. ZOO AND PARK: we came on a 40° grey wintery day, and it was not crowded, but also not deserted. Some paths are a bit muddy, but you can walk around on paved and wood chip paths, and stay dry, if you want to.
See photos for accessibility accommodations, and that their bison are purely bison, not mixed with cattle! Amazing!
Just adding a couple of photos of the new Oxbow Nature Center. This place is amazing! I've been to Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo before, many times: in the great outdoor park with play areas for kids; for picnics, whether as a family or with large groups for fellowship at the bridge picnic areas; and I've looked at the animals outside before, when it was warm. But this new nature center is incredible! Warm and dry of course, but also informative and modern with wonderful amenities. With this indoor space available in rainy and cold weather, we will be coming a lot more often.
The natural play area for school the groups and other young visitors is interesting and there are many things to climb in, and a pond with turtles and frogs in warm weather. They have built a scaled model of the solar system, with spheres of different sizes and distances from the "sun", and informative plaques about their similarities and differences.
I've been here with children from the age of 2 all the way up to 12 years, and they all think that it's pretty awesome. The otters are amusing and fascinating to watch for half an hour at a time. They have wolf siblings and coyotes. The turkey loves to show off his beautiful feathers. The Lynx and the bobcat are amazing, as well as the beautiful cougar. The Hawks, Eagles and Owls that they have here at Zollman Zoo would never have survived in the wild (whether because of a broken wing, or an injured eye, or whatever) and have a pretty good life here. It's amazing that all the animals here are native to Minnesota (though some are endangered, threatened, or rare).

Wolves howled (and coyotes too!)! Owls were cool. Eagles were 'Merica. Otters were adorable. Turkey looked delicious. We got to borrow a red wagon for the kiddos. 5 stars.

This was our 1st time going here. We were very impressed! The price is great, especially for all the things available to do. There are 2 playgrounds, a zoo, walking trails, a river for fishing(& playing in.*life jackets & close supervision! It is a river! ). Everything was well maintained & pretty clean. My parents were staying the weekend, so we just visited for the day. We are definitely going to consider staying sometime.
Alicia Peterson — Google review
Loved this nature experience. It was winter and there were not a lot of people and some animals were inside. Nevertheless, we got to see 90% of the animals. Because it wasn't crowded, the children had a lot more freedom in the play areas.
The information on the animals and the exhibits was very helpful. I would have enjoyed the hiking trails, but it was cold, and the children were small , so we decided to save that for another day.

I have been driving past this place my whole life and wish I would’ve found it sooner! This place is absolutely amazing, very unique, and the staff is going above and beyond at all times! One employee even helped me with the electric car charger because my service was bad. 10 out of 10!

My friend and I used the action track chairs ( for people with mobility issues) to explore the Jay C Hormel Nature Center's walking and cross-country trails. They were covered with ice, so very few people were out. We were the only ones who could navigate safely. We could cross bridges, go down steep hills, go over anything safely. It was a hoot! We had a blast and definitely will be back! Thank you so much for providing those chairs!

I learned quite a few interesting facts about the nature around this area. Nice exhibits, pleasant modern building. But most of all, the nature trails here are beautiful. A very good complement to the wonderful Myre-Big Island State Park which is about 20 minutes drive to the west.

Although we didn't get to go into the building as it was closed the day we visited, we did get to walk in the park.
There were lots of nice trails to walk on, some of which were paved. For those that weren't paved, they were smooth enough for us to push a stroller on (with pneumatic tires) with only a few spots that were muddy or bumpy.
Overall, I'd love to go back when the trees have leaves and when it's a bit warmer. The day we went was very windy and there wasn't much for protection to slow it down.
The observation tower is a little anti-climactic. I guess I was thinking it would be quite a bit taller than it was.

Our church meets at this venue Sunday mornings. It's a very professional place. We'll lit with windows or electric screens can be lowered. Plug in play projector for presentations. Live music sounds great, but it's easy to get too loud with a full band. All on one level for handicap access. Easy loading but bring a cart for your stuff. parking for 100s surrounded by miles of walking trails. The kids go outside and run if needed. Kitchenette for serving food. Leave it spotless.
Packaging, photos & an old grocery store reconstruction tell the story of the famed processed meat.
What can you possibly say about a museum devoted to a canned meat product? It was a lot of fun and very educational. You learn about the various products that are made. Including those made for foreign markets. There are several interactive displays to test your knowledge and your skills about spam. Masks are required if you have not been vaccinated. There are some special sections for kids and plenty of displays for adults so it is a great place to visit for the whole family. The gift shop offers a variety of merchandise and also has spamples at various times. It gives you a chance to sample some of the different varieties of spam. At the time of my visit the museum did not open until 10:00 a.m.

Super neat tourist attraction. It was cool to see the different types of spam and how it’s eaten throughout the world. The facility is not exactly dog friendly unless you can carry the dog through the museum. Unfortunately you can’t buy any of the spam that is not readily available in the US stores. I feel like they’re really missing out on a good opportunity for sales if they offered new varieties! The kids really enjoyed the play area.

My mother and I took my two little boys age 8 and almost 10. They loved it. There's so much interactive stuff to do for the kids. And the best thing was they had taste testing. The kids really love that too. We got to dress up like inspectors and the plant and we got to practice packaging span. The boys really loved it and me and my mom liked it too.

Very interesting and cool museum. All the interesting history is laid out in an interactive experience. The Spam cans riding around the track up in the ceiling are neat to see. The gift shop has lots of cool stuff. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. All in all a cool place to visit.

The fact that my kids said it was worth the 2 hour drive made it worth the drive! Just learning about SPAM throughout history was interesting. Got some recipes and some fun photos. Everything is very hands on and clean! Gor some fun souvenirs too+

Love this place. Was actually the best museum we’ve been to across America. Especially being free was a huge bonus. The kids and wife loved it. THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY which was really cool. The history and the interactive games for the kids were so cool. I would liked to have tried some of the rare SPAM that we got to see but they only have basic flavors in the gift shop. Come on guys you guys have to sell the cool products that we can’t just buy at any grocery store. Would recommend going if you’ve been thinking about it.

It's not a huge museum but it was really cute and fun. We learned a few things and the gift store is well worth checking out. If you're into the fun and odd ball type things, this is a fun stop.

Well worth the time to tour the Spam museum. We have a totally new respect for Spam and the Hormel family. It is free to enter and there is so much to learn. Even children will enjoy it.

Who knew there was so much history behind the Hormel brand?! This was such a cool experience and fun knowledge that was gained. The facility is well maintained. There are hands on activities. Children and adults can definitely find an afternoon of fun at the museum. The offer SPAM samples while you are visiting. You can purchase souvenirs and SPAM in the gift shop. There is no cost to visit, so even if you have a tight budget you can still find an afternoon of enjoyment with your family here!

So much fun! The kids loved the museum! Plenty of fun facts and things to do! They even come around with SPAM samples!! They have lots of fun historical facts and a fun play place for kids. The store inside has some really cute spam souvenirs!
Bonus the museum is very inclusive from motion sensor doors to noise canceling headphones and cute quiet areas!

Although its size is small, this museum is really worth a visit. I especially enjoyed the touring which covers the history of the company Hormel as well as of its owners Geo and Jay Hormel. It is quite inspiring to learn how the owners kept improving their products, and how SPAM became a supply to the US's allies during the war, and still a popular food for many different countries after the war. (The touring girl has done a great job!)
There is also a play area for kids, and our kiddle liked it a lot. Will definitely come back when there is a chance!

What's not to love about a museum that celebrates one of the world's most popular processed meat products? This is a funky fun place to spend an hour or two. Interesting and funny, it educates and entertains! Plus, friendly staffers walking around with trays of samples!

Such a amazing museum. It is small but in the most perfect way, any larger and it would have been toomuch. It had interactive attractions and was well thought out. Our family had a lovely time and can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed watching displays of SPAM and its history. Smaller than expected but still worth visiting. The gift shop had lots of small and interesting souvenirs. The SPAM minitrain on the ceiling was quite brilliant. You get offered SPAM samples and can buy hard-to-find varieties from the shop. The volunteers were very kind and nice.

2023:
Lots of fun and history. Knowing that I grew up on spam and loved spam my niece surprised me with a surprise trip to the museum. Even though my wife and niece are not fans of spam, they were surprised to have such a great time visiting a museum. They even sent pictures to others. Most did not realize there was such a museum and others claimed they were envious that we were able to visit the museum.

You know you want it. You know you need it. It's the fleshy salty pink flavors of SPAM in all its proud glory. All your friends, family, and occasional visitors to Minnesota MUST make the important pilgrimage to the Mecca of Pork Products... THE AUSTIN SPAM MUSEUM.

Great museum, really fun and interactive, not huge but it's free so no complaints! Really enjoyed having spam packing races with friends. The gift shop was great with some really fun things to buy, definitely recommend going if your in the area

This museum is so quirky and fun! I was impressed that some of their displays have changed since we visited 5 years ago. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town or a detour if you are heading up to the twin cities.
The museum is a lot of fun for adults and kids. They have a little farm house and play area with a slide. The kids loved the area where you can 'make' your own SPAM and had fun seeing who could so it the fastest. My oldest was able to do the full case in under 2 minutes. It was a really cute addition to the museum.
I love their gift shop! They do a military discount and even have shirts on sale to support the people after the Maui wildfire.

For starters, it's free! The kids played forever in the play area! They have an interactive museum portion, you could can 'spam', and play in the play area.
It has a variety actives the kids enjoyed too: a reading and nursing nook, a kitchen/picnic area, and the climbing section that looks like a barn.
It's a good place to take the kids to play. Definitely recommend!
An amazing piece of history just off I-35, especially recommend for locals but for anyone traveling the interstate with an hour or two of spare time I absolutely suggest checking this place out.
Admission is free but the City of Owatonna requests you donate if your able too.

This is an amazing collection that tells the story of the state orphanage from 1896 to 1945, with well selected artifacts and layout of exhibits. Some of the exhibits paint a dreadful time for orphans living here or even worse for those sent out as virtual slaves to work on local farms. Others show a ray of sunshine in letters from grown-up orphans who seemed to have been happy enough. I had to remind myself that all of this must be weighed by the era - I kept judging the past by my 2023 standards and had to catch myself.
This is a must-see place, but do not expect to be cheered up. Seriously serious!

Just great to have this history, it's not all good but it is our Minnesota history. Sad and sometimes brutal, yet there were success story's. The cemetery is a dreadful reminder. The buildings are beautiful and some times very creepy.

Very interesting place, will recommend to family and friends.
Opened in 2009, this family-friendly zoo features reptiles & amphibians from around the world.
I brought my 8 month old daughter there for the first time and she had a blast. The people working there are super nice, they went in back and grabbed a baby alligator for her to look at up close, then they asked If we wanted to watch them feed the tortoises. The little things like that, that they don't necessarily have to do, really makes an impression nowadays. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that has kids, or just likes reptiles.
Kravin Morehead — Google review
Fantastic place for hands on experience! Very knowledgeable staff. Happy to answer any questions. They had a few feedings while we were there. Snakes, Crocks, turtles, alligators, and birds. Cool place easily spend 2 hrs here. The staff has a q&a session. With an option to hold the specimen on display for a fee. Or pet for free. It seems the animals are well socialized and as friendly a wild animal can be. Not to busy can wonder around with feeling to rushed or crowded.
John Richard — Google review
Our kids had a great time! I loved that we could go through at our own pace. The kids spent as much time as they wanted at each exhibit. They were also able to watch multiple snakes get fed. The workers were very knowledgeable and explained about the snakes as they were feeding. For extra money they were also able to have photos taken holding a small alligator or a snake. We chose the alligator and they are still talking about how cool it was! They also had a few step stools scattered around that were perfect for the toddlers to carry around and use to stand on to see the exhibits at a better height. Overall it was a great experience!

Unequivocally the absolute best reptile and amphibian zoo anywhere ! ! !
My wife and I love going to zoos and we have been at many over several states. We have seen other amphibian and reptile displays but this is far and above better anything we have seen thus far.
There more in number and variety here than anyone else. They have several species I have never seen before -- along with a few beautiful birds.
The owner also brought out an alligator and a python for us to pet. I can't say I've ever petted an alligator before!
So if you want to see reptiles and amphibians you absolutely, positively, must see this!

My grandson has been there before, my first time. It was amazing, all the animals, the employees-extremely knowledgeable and friendly. So many reptiles and amphibians to see and learn about. Sitting with my grandson and daughter, holding Harley- a 6 yr. old Cayman was pretty cool, to say the least. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT, for quality family time and fun education for the kids. Definitely going again! Google RAD ZOO..

We have not been to the facility itself yet. But we booked them for a birthday party and it was absolutely amazing. The kids loved it! Our guide was soooo very friendly, kind, calm and patient with the children. He took time to answer questions we had and we learned quite a bit of things too. All the kids got to touch at least some of the animals. But my son was able to hold more of them. Being the birthday boy. He was over joyed! Big reptile friend!!! I'm so very happy and glad we found them. I was worried they weren't coming because I hadn't heard anything, but turns out traffic was really bad(construction season) but everything worked out wonderfully! All my friends are looking into it for their future things too. We will make a trip to the zoo itself sometime too!!! Very happy. Recommended highly.
Oh and everyone got to hold the big snake at the end. The kids faces just lit up with that!!

We live about 45 minutes away and we love going to this zoo we don't mind the drive the people and staff are so nice there and you can get so close to the animals it's a very unique experience. I think we will end up doing one of her birthday parties down there also at some point we had seen a party going on and it looked very fun. All of our kids look forward to different features and animals at the zoo.

The RAD zoo exceeded our expectations. The animals appeared well cared for even with minimal staffing. My husband and I toured the zoo for over 2 hours with the only rush being our children which finished the zoo in about an hour. We will definitely be back to visit the next time we are in the area.

We made the drive from the cities and arrived 30 minutes before closing. There was a lot to see, and my 2 young kids loved petting the baby alligator. My husband says 30 minutes was perfect (it helped that we were the only ones there), I think 45 minutes would've been better.
Conservation education facility with hands-on exhibits, live animals, a library & nature trails.
Granted, we did not get through the whole place, but the trail we walked was beautiful even in early March with no snow. Cute little picnic area with a prairie path, and a small lookout point. Was a lovely afternoon!

I have been here before, but I must say, I've never actually taken the time to walk around. I didn't realize the number of trails to walk/ride. It's really nice that MC has something like this for the public to enjoy. I walked the "bird trail" (northern part of the park) - because it was the flattest..not too hard on my knees. It was a great little jaunt. I'll be back to try out a different trail next time!

Spent a couple days there this week while visiting my wife's hometown. Remembered what it was like to tear up the trails in cross country at MCHS. There are some great loops to enjoy with the kids and a nice conservation office. My favorite trails are still the River trail that goes all the way to Mason and the Quarry Loop.

Great place for a morning walk. The River Bluff trail was nice and the Prairie Loop was cool. Several different types of trails to choose from. I saw three deer, several squirrels. There were tons of unique Bird calls also. The nature center was decent, but didn't see a lot of information for children's activities.

Long ago I helped to dig out the old brewery, removed a medical dump (yep scary), pulled out tons and tons of cardboard dumping site that was in a small pound there, and cut open many of the trails as part of a conservation group. I went on to do many other things in Lime Creek alone in 83 and was my last year there. Walking it used to bring back memories of days long gone... It is a good place that teenagers did allot there to bring you what you see today, even handing blocks to construction workers who built the nature center. I worked many other parks in my time for Cerro Gordo County Conservation, but Lime Creek, I did a major chunk. Please enjoy it because a bunch of kids really worked hard to bring a lot to that park. As an adult, I used to go there to walk the trials I helped to open and cross country ski remembering when I once groomed those runs.. A time I hope to never forget...

I have loved this place since I was a kid. They have primitive camp sites also for $5 a night and they will give you some fire wood with it. Last time I was there they didn't take it to the campsite for me so it stayed in the trunk of my car. A mile walk out with wood and my gear is to much to carry.
Sprawling oak savanna & prairie area with a glacial esker offers wetland birding, camping & hiking.
Myre-Big Island State park is awesome!all the deer that come up to the camp sites is amazing! I love seeing all the nature! I would recommend this place to anyone that loves nature! The host at Myre-Big Island White Fox campground let's people burn canvas from chairs, let's people cut branches from trees so their rv will fit, make fun of people and the older camper and vehicle they have, will only talk to people who have newer campers and vehicles! I think Myre-Big Island State Park can find someone friendlier to be the host for the park!

I had a wonderful time at this park! I stayed in backpack site 3. There is a mix of lakeshore, forest and prairie here. When I visited there were no garbage receptacles at the picnic area and the restrooms were closed (I think likely because it's after labor day) but the vault toilets were fine, and I did find dumpsters at the main campground. If you're doing the hiking club trail, it's a longer one compared to most of the other parks so be prepared for that. I did a few sections of it and never did find the password (it must be in one of the parts I didn't get to). The trails are mostly flat and wide. There are portions that overlap with a bike trail. The signs are adequate to get around without having to have a map in hand or on your phone.
The backpacking sites are a ways from the campground but not too far. 1 and 2 are closer, but spaced out from each other, and 3, 4 and 5 are on the outer edge of the park right off the lake (I believe you can also paddle in, at least there was a portage sign in site 3). Make sure to get water before proceeding to the backpacking sites. The only downside to my site was that I could hear highway noise. I think 1+2 are farther away from the road.
The bird watching in the fall is incredible. I saw or heard over 30 species of birds, including 2 kinds of owls at night. If you visit the backpack sites you'll be treated to hundreds of pelicans, ducks, geese, herons, and other waterfowl.

We went to Myre-Big Island State Park for the first time in 20 years and I forgot how amazing it was. The park is much larger than I remember with several walking, hiking, and biking trails. In the winter there is groomed snomobiling trails which is beautiful. There is tenting and camper spots in a few different areas of the park. There was some newer bathrooms built with outdoor sinks for washing. We saw a ton of wild life as we walked the trails. We loved it and would go again.

This is a nice well-kept campground. That is a mix of primitive and electric only sites.. sites are spacious with most having trees between each of the campsites for privacy. And her in number of water stations in each camping loop where you can fill up your RV as well as an RV dump station that has a separate spigot for water fill also. There are a couple of primitive vault toilets as well as a restroom and shower facility in between both loops. The reservation was $24 a night but when you get to the office to check in you also have to purchase a $7 per day vehicle permit so that you can drive your personal vehicle and the park. So with I told vehicle and the additional vehicle it was an extra $14 per night. Oh no it's a really nice campground I'll be a little pricey for primitive camping. We're averaging 10 to 12 Mbps on T-Mobile and probably about the same for Verizon. #rvdump

Spent one night at Myre-Big Island State Park. The staff was very helpful and even on a Friday night we had no trouble finding a camp site. Like most other state parks, they don't want you to bring any outside firewood in, but you can purchase a bundle for $6.00. would definitely stay here again if I am ever around that area.

We got to the campground late at night and it was really cool! The water was all shut off and the dump station was inaccessible. The lake was completely frozen so that was fun as well. The sites were spacious and easy to access. The restrooms were locked since the water was shut off, but there was a vault toilet that was accessible.

We really enjoyed our stay in the one camper cabin at this site, there were flush toilets very close by with running water sinks and showers too. The camp sites were closer to each other than other parks in MN so that was the only draw back for us since we like to feel more secluded. The were beautiful trails to walk and the land is all around since it is an island. Beautiful wildflowers and wildlife to watch.
Hotel-adjacent gaming plus upscale dining, fast food, live music & comedy shows.
We come down from Minneapolis Minnesota. Their machines are incredibly loose compared to the casinos in the metro area. Which also could include treasure island. Even though T.I. is not in the metropolitan area. And LIVE CRAPS AND ROULETTE. Can't beat that.

You can smoke in the casino 👍🏾 the kitchen somehow can’t seem to get it together. I’ve gotten at least a handful of meals there. My latest visit I got prime rib rare… it was medium. My soup was half n a quarter cupful like every time I’ve gotten it but this time I turned back n asked questions n the lady told me that she will let her boss know n didn’t offer to fill it or anything… I give up on ever ordering there again. Time before We got steaks medium rare n what we received was one side burned n other side rare so we brought it back n they gave us different steaks same result. My salads were never good… cucumber were always bad. Staffs are always nice n friendly but always forget my plastic ware n things I’ve asked for. I will still go there but I’ll probably get subway or bring my own food when I go. The slots are really tight otherwise I do like the place.

The casino maintains an exceptionally clean and welcoming environment, which is complemented by the staff's outstanding helpfulness and friendliness, making every visit truly enjoyable. Their sports betting section is particularly impressive for its user-friendliness and accessibility. The betting kiosks are straightforward to use, ensuring a seamless betting experience for both novices and experienced bettors alike. Moreover, the presence of knowledgeable staff ready to assist with any inquiries enhances the overall experience. Whether choosing to place bets at the kiosks or at the counter, the efficiency and friendliness of the personnel in the sports betting area are commendable. It's pretty outside didn't pay out no free sign up bonus for new players was a buzz kill too. If I'm from out of town what's my cash back from my spend doing for me if it was my first and only time out there and the chances of it ever happening again are slim due to distance. Anyway it sure is a pretty site. At night their sign glitters. Weird lookin barn vibes outside too but it was cool. Wish I got better and more photos. Don't think I'll get to use my cash back at all anywhere because unless they have that available to me online, that may be the only Boyd casino anywhere near me. I usually have a good experience here, but not so much this time. I stayed one night on Saturday, March 22nd and had an unauthorized charge of $50 on my credit card. I have been attempting to contact the manager for almost two weeks and have not heard back. I’ve left three voicemails and now, when I call, the front desk just rings continuously and eventually drops my call. I guess I’ll have to file a chargeback on my card because there was no damage to the room or anything of the sort.

My family and I all planned a weekend get away at Diamond Joe's and needless to say- we will never go back. It was an all around bad experience! It started when they said we booked double the amount of rooms than we actually did and it was too late to cancel. The desk employee said they couldn't do anything. And in fact, they were quite RUDE about it. Then at dinner, while our waitress was nice, dinner was very slow from start to finish. The food took forever. And we must have waited 30 minutes just to pay. They claimed it was a "computer" issue. Later in the evening, there was last call for drinks- we purchased drinks at 1:15am, at 1:30am they wanted to take the drinks we had just paid for. We still had half full drinks and politely asked what time we had to drink them by- knowing in Iowa it is 2am. The "pit boss" - I think his name was RUDY (how fitting) very rudely said he was taking our drinks. We understand that there are rules, and we are happy to comply. However, we do expect to be treated with kindness and respect. It felt very much like this casino and it's employees don't care about their customers!!!
A little remote but not hard to find. Thanks to the property owner, the public can visit a significant piece of American history in person. Tread lightly, listen closely and you can feel music in the air during the short walk to the memorial. It is also possible to visit the Surf Ballroom in nearby Clear Lake to visit the museum and stage where the last performance happened.

Make sure you have your GPS set to the site as there are no signs or any mention of the place until you are at it. There is about a half mile of driving on gravel road, so be wary of if your car can handle that. It’s also about a quarter mile walk on uneven dirt and grass to get to the site. It is very surreal and I recommend taking the 15 minutes to check it out. Many people have brought items to leave there, if I knew that I would have brought something too!

Definitely cool to see this place. Even though it isn't much, it draws plenty of people to see it due to the worn path back to the site. Expect about a mile of stone road, and about a 10 minute walk to the exact location. People just park alongside the road, which seemed alright because there were several cars when I arrived.

Very moving to visit the spot where three legends if Rock 'N Roll died, along with their 21yo charter pilot. Bucket list pilgrimage for me, and well worth braving the cold!

I could have cried!! One of the best, yet saddest places I have ever visited. You have to walk from the glasses marker to the actual memorial site down a cornfield path but we'll worth it! The path is well maintained and there is parking across the road. Lots of sunglasses and momentos. Hint..bring a marker if you wish to sign the pole. History is amazing however sad!

Came here with the wife on the bike, the walk to the sight sucked(it was around 90°..really crazy thing that happened is when we got back on the bike to leave I turned on the ignition and when the radio came on, LA Bamba was the first song....still gotta hit up the Surf ballroom when it's open

Very powerful place, standing where Buddy, Richie, and the Big Bopper ended their time with us. It's about a 15-minute walk from the road to the crash site.

Very cool piece of history!
Park at the Don McLean parking area and walk approximately 1/4 mile to the crash site.
The area was well maintained when we were there so we dropped a donation into the box where we parked. (If you appreciate the effort in keeping this treasure accessable, just drop a small donation for the ongoing effort by the locals to keep it so). 👍
If this is on your bucket list, make it happen soon as ya never know when it may be gone.

This is located about 8 miles out of Clearlake. It is in the middle of nowhere literally. However, the site is kept up very well from local enthusiast. It appears many pilgrims make their way to this every year.
Tim Kruse — Google review
It's a relatively flat, easy walk to the site. It was interesting viewing the monuments as well as the mementos people have left there.
JC B — Google review
The site is about a half mile walk from the parking area. At the end is a couple of markers of the 4 casualties. The sunglasses sculpture marks the beginning of the trail and in my opinion is more interesting than the markers at the end.
Jason Clements — Google review
It's well maintained with the path mowed. There is no information about the crash, but there are memorial markers with the singers and pilot's names. It is a little under half a mile walking to the site and then back (just under a mile total). People bring glasses to leave on the large glasses memorial that marks the entrance to the path to the crash site. It seems like more could be done as a memorial site.

I shopped for my wife to obtain some Winnebago gear. The supervisor at the visitor center Melissa was absolutely amazing to work with. She took the time to email me pictures of the items She had available that my wife might like and processed my order over the phone. My wife and I absolutely love Winnebago because of their amazing customer service and the quality of the product they provide. Hands-down would work with this company again!

Wow, I loved this place. They have documented and have on display older RV's and trailers that were very fun to see. The history of the Winnebago company is there to read about. The lady at the counter (Shari sp?) has a great welcoming personality.

Took the Class B tour at Lake Mills. Paul was a great guide and told us about all the ins and outs of how the Class Bs are made. We got to see production lines for the Revel and Travato. Good way to kill some time while your RV is in the service center.
Frank Fang — Google review
I just bought a 2016 Travato and heard that they do tours. I arrived a day early and was able to tour both facilities. Everyone at Winnebago was amazing. Sherry and Amy in the Visitor's Center were great and Bryce, Mark, and Rande were fantastic tour guides. I also ended up needing the Service Department while I was there and they were incredible too. I met a lot of other Winnebago owners and even they were all pleasant! I highly recommend the tour and going directly to the factory for any service needed.
Doreen McEwan — Google review
The people in the visitor center are always super nice. There is a small museum inside which is free, it shows the history of Winnebago as well as their pop culture presence. Free cup of coffee is available in the mornings and if you have a Winnebago they have electric hookups for you to stay 2 nights free, if you are a WIT member you can stay up to 3 nights for free. They also have a nice selection of Winnebago apparel for sale inside.

This was our 2nd factory tour. It was much the same as a year ago. our tour guide last time was more bubbly, but this one allowed more time to watch the assembly lines. We were disappointed that our tour of the B class facility was cancelled due to a software update (there were apparently a lot of issues caused by this - the class A line wasn’t moving either). It’s a
Good tour overall. We would recommend it.

It's a Winnebago museum. 3 displays--vintage motorhome, a small towable and a truck bed cab over. Very nostalgic. Posters, old magazine adds, history and time lines for the progression of Winnebago. Also a movie reel which highlights all the movies and TV shows a Winnebago appeared in. T-shirts, mugs & stickers for sale and other assorted Winnebago gifts.

We have had NOTHING but problems with 2018 Forza 36G. Bought in 2019 new, left over. Dealership we purchased from in NC was absolutely the worst until we got to the top of organization but even they can't help with the inferior product that is Winnebago. Shame as we are stockholders. Customer Service is a JOKE. They have none. Everytime we take it in for warranty service it's gone for MONTHS and MONTHS. It is now time to hire a lawyer and investigate LEMON LAWS. Don't buy a Winnebago
One of the few MN wineries where I liked every single wine I've sampled. According to the owners, all wines are made from grapes grown in their own vineyard. Don't visit this winery very often, but enjoyed every visit. Staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly. Wine selection is exceptional, prices are decent. Would stack up this winery against nearly any Napa one 🙂

Saw an ad for this business and went to their website and found that none of the owners are Indigenous. They are appropriating indigenous culture and benefiting off of indigenous allure. Please change your business name/theme or reach out to indigenous communities and ask for permission/give compensation for the hijacking of culture. Strange to see this behavior in 2024…

We rented a room for a birthday party. Never was given a contract, just word. A couple weeks before event I went out to pay the balance and talk about set up. I was told they get the balance that day because no one except Ray knows what was agreed to. But I was assured we were in the calendar for that day. The day of our party, the staff were surprised by our arrival. The room was dirty! Used wine glasses and empty cans on the dirty tables. One of the staff was trying to mop the floors while we were trying to set up! When we left we were over charged for the room because again, no one except Ray knew the agreement and he was on vacation. The wine is good but this is a shady way of doing business and I would never recommend this place for an event location.
UPDATE:
I’ve changed my review as the owner did contact my brother and discussed things. We were refunded the total amount of the room rental. We were very thankful for the quick response to our review and that they made things right. We would give them another shot if we ever have another event because they do have very good wine.
Mount Kato Ski Area is a popular resort that offers various winter activities such as skiing, snow-tubing, and equipment rentals. They also have a chalet for visitors to relax in. In the summer months, they provide mountain-biking opportunities. Families with children aged 8 and 10 can enjoy their time there, especially if it's their second time skiing. The kids had a great experience and appreciated the help from friendly individuals who assisted them on the ski lifts and after falls.
Visited with my 8 and 10 year olds, for their second time skiing. The kids loved it. Every person who paused a ski lift for me or helped me up from my several falls was truly lovely! I don't know much about skiing, but I can tell you that on Thursday and Friday the second weekend in March, it was not busy and that made my parade of wipe outs less embarrassing! They serve Minnesota wine at the bar, both whites are sweet. The chips in the chips and salsa are homemade and just delightful!! The woman at the rental window is very kind and answered tons of questions. The gentleman in the rental room were patient and knowledgeable. I saw 2 Hawks, 1 black squirrel, 8 deer and a blue jay.
Jessica Wiedmaier — Google review
Sharing the mountain biking experience, not the skiing experience. We went here from 3 hours away during the week and not the weekend, so it's practically dead. It's nice and easy that you can pay for your entry with PayPal if you don't have cash. Only a porta-potty for mtb riders. Can't speak to the shop since it was closed.
The lifts are not available, not just because it was a weekday. I think they only run in winter. Would be awesome if it did, but I understand there's not enough riders. Maybe someday.
It has many trails for all levels of riders. Could use more maps/signs throughout...hate pulling out a phone to look. Definitely could use some maintenance of the trails. Fallen branches and trees...this place definitely has potential.

Granddaughter's 1st time there 8 years old. We had the best time. Lift attendant was very nice and friendly
Teri Shary — Google review
I have cross country skied before, but not downhill. For the first time this past week I went and did a lesson with Ethan and he was absolutely fantastic at showing how to do some of the basic skills for downhill. This included moving perpendicular up the hill, skating, how to snowshoe/pizza, and we even went down the bunny hill a few times. This made me feel much more comfortable skiing and made it feel like going down a hill with XC! Just had to change my foot moments a little different. For sure a great time and I can't wait to go again. Their map shows some of the easier, intermediate, and black diamond hills. Rentals were about $30 and $8 for a helmet. Lift ticket depends on weekend or weekday (about $30-55).
Chalet inside is nice and is a good place to have lunch after going up and down a bunch of times. They have fair options and the quality is more like a school lunch feeling. However, it wasn't bad at all.

Great place to get out and ski! 19 runs to choose from, it's where I learned to ski and I get out there 3 times a week. Great mountain biking too. Can't say enough about this local treasure.

Been going here since I was little. Prices have been unacceptable for so many years but this year it has been the worst. Bought my pass for $550 only to be able to use it for maybe two months. Also weren't given any buddy passes for not buying my pass early enough. Staff as been nothing but awful and distasteful for years but this year has been the worst. Their treatment to customers has been horrible. I was yelled at to pick up skis that weren't mine because the guy on the four wheeler couldn't get through (as if it's my job to clean up a mess that isn't mine when i'm paying to be there). The woman in the ticket booth has been nothing but snarky and unhelpful to not only me but park people as well. Do not give them any business if you can. Many other hills will treat you with respect and give you a good time for a better price.

Came to Mt. Kato for my first time skiing (with my experienced skier wife) and it was a blast. Mid day on a Monday with no one on the trails or lifts made for a far more enjoyable/less stressful for a new skiier. One amazing feature here versus other ski mountains we looked into was the $10 adult first timer lesson. My coach Annabella was calm, professional and extremely helpful. She laid a great foundation for the rest of my day that went great. We will be back again for sure!

Woman in the rental area was very rude and would not let my friend switch out the rental board he was using. The original board was not sliding on the snow, and I knew it wasn’t the conditions because my board and everyone else’s boards were working just fine. After finally giving us a different board after being VERY rude and arguing with me constantly, the new board worked SOOO much better and my friend had a great first snowboarding experience! I don’t remember her name, but she was older, maybe middle aged and she was not nice at all. I am very disappointed in her customer service and our college ski club will not be returning.
Emily Gadker — Google review
I was so excited for this place but my experience was ruined for many reasons. First of all, the lessons did teach people how to ski, but I was falling and while doing the lessons and I didn't get help, our instructor just kept moving on without me.after that I took a break to get some food, it's really good but really expensive, 3 chicken strips for 8$! And the lady inpayed my money to was really nice. But then this employee who worked here made my day worse, by yelling at me for putting my ski on wrong, but didn't help at all. I felt upset with myself and started crying, feeling embarrassed. I also got story's from my friends that other employees were rude and unhelpful to mainly children. Overall I will never come here again
Ethan Molison — Google review
My family has been pass holders for years. After this year, we will never go here again. The management is beyond rude, the pass holder prices outrageous, the women's bathroom is a travesty, and the snow conditions completely unacceptable. Save your money. Go somewhere else where your business is appreciated. There is no effort to get the hill open in a timely fashion at the beginning of the season (it's been that way for years) and they rate at which they blow snow is ridiculous. They charge full price with only a few runs open and make no effort to take customer's concerns seriously.
Visitors to the area: Do yourself a favor and pick a different hill. You will be sorely disappointed at Mount Kato.
Mankato residents: Spend the gas money and go somewhere else.

This was a great hill to spend a few days getting comfortable with skiing. Friendly staff, not too crowded, we had a good time. Conditions were great and the runs were well groomed.
Cute place to stop and eat and let the kiddo run around after a long day of driving. Conveniently off the highway and next to fast food stops!

We stopped on our way to Yellowstone- road trip from Boston to Yellowstone! Our goal is to visit all 50 states and this was a perfect spot to check out MN! Not too far from the highway; easy and great photos opportunity for our family album. The visitor center was very nice and had coffee and many souvenirs! The kids loved the giant

I was told the true story of the County, the company and the timeline account for the exact memories that were described including critical think and hard fought treaties concerning the way in which was to be agreed to establishing as the story to be told and even performing specific details with insistent instructions so as to allow for an almost first person view of the giant standing directly up above you and the town of Blue Earth and for miles yet further of cultivated farm land. The richness of the dark nutrient holding soil and the fruit it had yielded. .. "Ho Ho Ho.... Green Giant sultry and sweet as he bent down on one knee to propose to the joy of his life and existence up untill that very moment. He was right! He loved us more!
Jason Haning — Google review
The park has been improved and it's a nice quick stop that is fun. There is a nice new welcome center. There is some cool musical playground equipment that our kids loved. You can climb up some steps to stand under the giant. It looks nice and is kept up. 5 stars may be a bit high, but it exceeded my expectations and was a fun stop for 20 minutes. We were surprised to enjoy it as much as we did.

OK, so a bit unusual, but the park has much more to offer than a Jolly Green Giant and his little buddy. The instruments built into the pad are great! What a genius idea. And the bike repair station with every kind of allen wrench and tire pump. Brilliant! Stop and see and grab an ice cream next door at DQ.

Coolest park ever! Where else can you climb under a huge plastic giant? The 55 foot Green Giant is the showpiece of a nice park. You will find a one mile walking path, camping, restroom, and a very fun museum and visitors center.

I used an online road trip planner which was how I found out about the Green Giant Statue.
I thought it was fun! Great place to get out and stretch and see a giant statue! I'm a fan of oddities/art so i enjoyed wandering around. I stopped in the visitor center - used the bathroom, looked through the gift shop, talked to the employees.
Very interesting information along the trail. The petroglyphs are fun to find. There was a hands-on demonstration that the kids really enjoyed. It's a lovely site and nice way to spend an afternoon.

This is such a peaceful place. The walks are very relaxing and provide a chance to see the past. It takes practice to see the drawings. I was not aware that they are easier to see at dusk. So when you plan your trip be aware that rain and other elements make it easier to see. Some of the designs are obvious while others make for a fun game to find them. The sky is amazing.

The museum itself is small and gives a short review of the site, its inhabitants and the geology. The petroglyphs themselves are not easy to see, so plan on spending some time. It's also worth coming early or late in the day when the angle of the sun can help the symbols stand out more.

What an incredible experience! My husband and I went, and it was so much fun to see this awesome historical site. Our guide Mary was extremely friendly and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff.
Tips for your visit:
-Bring a bottle of water. It is not a hard walk, but pull definitely want to bring water, since you’ll be standing in the sun in the middle of rocks!
-The best time to go is near to closing, after 5pm would be ideal, but the site closes at that time. Even though the petroglyphs can be difficult to see at midday, the guides are very helpful, and use water and mirrors to show you the petroglyphs.
-Wear good walking shoes. I brought sandals, which was fine, but most of the paths are gravel, and they’re much easier to traverse with tennis shoes.
-Have fun! At the end, you may get a chance to chuck a spear at a buffauxlo (wordplay intended) I did not hit the buffalo, but my husband came pretty darn close! Enjoy your time there!
Museum featuring a collection of wooden boats, maritime equipment & vintage memorabilia.
We had a marvelous time at the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum....we laughed a lot as we reminiced about our visits to Arnold's Park from years ago. It was great to see the Fun House attractions:. Sugar Bowl, Barrel, and Wood slide. The crazy mirrors caused tears of laughter!

A place to visit when it’s raining. There are arcade games that you can buy tokens for and there is a giant wooden slide that you can go down. Your amusement park pass also applies to the slide! There is a high restriction for the slide.

Great history of the Great Lakes area of Iowa. Definitely worth the stop to see to old well restored wooden boats.
Rides & games for all ages plus a beach with boat tours, maritime museum, scuba center & more.
I love this park. Call it nostalgia if you'd like, but it's still fun for the whole family. The roller coaster and Tipsy House alone are worth it.
I like that the park is divided into two sides. The main entrance side is definitely geared toward the younger crowd with the exception of the wooden coaster.
Across the train track you'll find the thrill rides. A larger kid roller coaster, the Tilt-a-whirl and fast spinner rides.
The putt-putt course beyond that is top notch. You'd be hard pressed to find a better option in the area.
I love the admission options they offer as well. Arnolds Park is free to enter if you're not riding any rides. They also offer a chaperone pass for caretakers of kids under 42"..I think. Don't quote me on the inches, but ask about it for younger thrill seekers.
If you've never been, I highly recommend it! If you have been, you already know it's a great time.
mrs martin — Google review
It's not a big park by a long shot, and most of the rides are only thrilling for smaller kids. The Legend roller coaster is decent but anything really special (except it does pretty much encompass the whole park! And entrance to the coaster is at the entrance to the park - I missed that on the first go.) There is a smaller wild mouse coaster that looks about 100 years old and a high-in-the-sky log flume. Everything else is on a pretty small scale.
The free museums in the welcome center are pretty cool. Old boats and stuff they dredged up from the lake, old amusement park rides, and a small rock & roll museum dedicated to the Roof Garden venue. Each of the three museums suggest a donation of $2 per person (or $5 per family - I think.)
I mainly came to ride the Queen 2, which was a very nice tour of the lake.

A fun place to visit! Free to get in, we get the yearly pass but it seems that the tickets for the rides are about 1ticket=$1 but they do have the option for all day pass! We went on a ride at the end of the night with family out of town. Wanted to get a picture but they had already closed and we get we’re not able to recover the photo, so be aware of that if you want a picture and are the last rider!

We love Arnold’s Park! We love how toddler friendly it is, but also perfect for big kids as well. It is nice that you can enter without paying just to walk around if you want to do that! We love our trip there every summer-we actually went twice this last summer! The monkey bench is also a must stop!
Regan Gordon — Google review
I'm not objective, I'm completely nostalgic about Arnold's Park due to my childhood, but it's been updated since then and the city continues to make many improvements. I won't lie, it's totally bougie, the food and souvenirs (and shops) are horrendously overpriced and it's a huge tourist trap, but if you're on vacation, where isn't? The trick is to avoid holidays and weekends when possible, bring a backpack with some bottled water & snacks if you are looking to save $$. A day pass is like $35 and doesn't include go-karts, but a yearly pass for rides is like $99 ($150 for rides & go-karts), so if you want to go a few times, it's definitely worth the splurge. We are 35 miles away but get our money's worth when we're visiting Grandma & Grandpa or if we make a Taco house run. 😂 My folks actually gift our passes for Christmas every year, it's a great gift idea! (You can also purchase an annual Chaperone pass for $50 if you're just wanting to ride on with your littles, but it is limited to certain rides - see pictures).
Brea Espey — Google review
Family had a blast at Arnolds Park! Went on almost all the rides with the bumper cars and roller coaster being their top two. They also enjoyed the go-carts and can't wait to go back again.
We just got four wristbands for the park and then paid $8/child (junior carts age 9-13) when we got to the go-carts parts.
We had the family size fries (you get a huge amount), cheese balls, and a fully loaded walking taco. Food was all really good. Bottled water is Dasani and the ones we got felt like they weren't in the fridge for very long.

Beautiful Park! Who knew an amazing lakefront park existed in Idaho. It is a must visit place with many family friendly stores, eateries, and events! Also, a great place for couples to reconnect and find a little romance.
Linda Witte — Google review
Small park but it is def quality over quantity. Think of it as a snall fresh market vs a super Walmart. Entry is free and you pay per ride or get various day passes. If you are going to ride all rides at least once the passes are worth it. Combination pass with the go karts is a bit harder to get your money's worth on unless you are making a day of it. The combo pass with unlimited rides and some park bucks for fairway games only makes sense if you want to play the games. Food allowance is a joke, not even enough for a hot dog and a drink. Ride prices are 5-9 park bucks and it is a 1:1 exchange. Highlight is the "Legend" and it is a sweet 30 or so seconds of roller coaster fun once you drop past the point of no return. We were there in the middle of July and during the week crowd was solid but not overwhelming. Note: mini golf course is separate from the park. Museum kid rides/slide is included. Museums are free entry and well air conditioned with nice bathrooms.

2 museums, bumper cars, go karts, mini golf, 23 amusement park rides including log ride, roller coaster, octopus, scrambler, tilt-a-wirl. They also have little kid rids. Free to walk through, see pictures for 2023 prices. They have a bunch of little shops. Various eateries. They offer a boat ride across the lake. It's a nice weekend trip!

We had a great time walking around Arnold's Park Amusement park with my Mom and Aunt reminiscing their trip as children. There is Alot for kids to do.
Raychel R — Google review
Pretty fun place. The tickets were a bit confusing because the prices were a little high for everyone, even though most adults only could do two or so rides. Definitely kid friendly, but my son was just at the height where he almost was too short or too tall to go on many of the rides. Thankfully he got to go on some rides, but then his sister wasn't able to go with because she was too tall. Food and drinks were okay, games were a little pricey for the prize you may or may not win. It can definitely be done in one day.

Always such a fun place. We went on a trip with my 7 other friends in our 20s and had a blast. Our favorite rides were the log ride by far. We did the bumper cars twice and had fun on the race way as well. Good food and fun carnival type games were there as well. Always fun to bring the kids along but parents can fun too!
A very unique experience. A collection of beautifully restored cars. The art murals are impeccable. Our guide Karl was so informative and interesting. Definitely worth touring.

If you are a 'car guy', this place is a must-see. The selection of cars and the history behind some of them makes the tour a very worthwhile experience. Even if you aren't into cars, the tour is worth taking. Seeing the murals; the old store fronts; the drive-in theater, and hearing the background story of the person that painted everything will absolutely amaze you. Worth every penny.

The guided tour was a must and it's no extra. Our tour guide was great with our 5 kids as well. He was full of information and answered their questions. This was a favorite part of our trip for sure.

Great line up of classic cars, mixed with historic staging and unique 3D art work that combines for a great experience? Well worth the entry fee. Take a walk thru historic 1965 Spencer, Arnold's Park and Milford. Walk into the drive in theater with over 300 cars ( both real and painted individually). Unique opportunity.

Very nicely done trip down memory lane. The set painting in the museum almost outdoes the vehicles, if you're an art enthusiast.

An absolute must-see!! Even if you're not a car person. It is larger than it looks. The museum is beautiful. The artist did an amazing job. If I come back to the area, I would be hyped to go again. The tour guides were so friendly. They even helped with the rest of our visit to the area.

Unexpected! It's more than a collection of cars. Discover art and history, too. Educated and friendly tour guide.

Lots of awesome old cars to see! I really liked how the backgrounds were done as storefront mock ups of local cities with lots of cool paintings. It really added to the atmosphere.
Many of the cars are for sale and it's actually officially a car dealership though it feels much more like a museum. They also do restorations here.
Prices were $14 adults and $12 children. My girlfriend and I were the only ones there and ended up getting essentially a personal tour as we wandered through for about an hour at a leisurely pace.

One of the best car museums! It has a small town along the street where the cars are parked. An authentic gas station and drive in from years gone by. The murals are indescribable- the paint and scenes follow you around 😊

If you've never been to Okoboji Classic Cars I recommend it even if your not an automobile enthusiast. It is packed with antiques and collectibles not to mention the art work. It is the largest known mural painted by 1 single artist. Gabby and I have been there 3 times this time we didn't pay a lot of attention to the cars we found our selves more taken in by the attention to detail in the artwork. When you first enter the museum your walking down main street Spencer before the big fire that wiped out Spencer's main street. You look into the soda shop and there's people sitting at the soda bar, the Chevrolet dealership has cars on the show room floor the hardware store has painted pails full of bulk screws and nails the neon signs have been restored and put on the businesses. It's truly amazing and every employee we talked to had a great attitude and appreciation for what they get to do every day.

Great car museum with lots of wonderful cars that range from 1915 to the present day. The restorations are all very well done. There are even some motorcycles on display. The walls are designed to look like Spencer and Arnold's Park in the 1950s. There is a gift shop there also.

Absolutely Amazing! The cars are gorgeous. The facade was really cool and the artwork is unreal! We had Toby's wife give us the tour and she was great!
The weather was perfect and so was the atmosphere. Food was both affordable and tasty.

We stumbled upon this place during a roadtrip and are so glad we did. It was a hidden gem! A beautiful and breezy location to relax and taste some wine and have a nice light refreshing lunch. Only one girl was working pouring the tastings for several tables so it was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry. Come here to sit backand relax. 🍷 🍇

I actually saw the sign on I-90 for this place and I thought to myself, "Ooh, that sounds lovely." The universe must have wanted me and my family to soak this place in because our RV got a flat and we ended up having to pull over. Thank God!
My 2 young kids (10 and 2) had a blast. The atmosphere is out of this world; it's beautiful and serene. There is a lake and the vineyards and lots of water ponds and fountains. I would think this is a beautiful place for a wedding. Plenty of open space, another building across the large parking lot, and of course, the restaurant. The food was amazing, it was fresh and the best meal I've had traveling through Minnesota. The beet ketchup was lovely and my kids really enjoyed the pizza. Our server Jessica was very sweet and explained the wine menu perfectly to us novice wine drinkers.
The managers let us hang out here for almost 4 hours as we waited for our tow truck. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
If you're going to be stranded somewhere, why not a winery? Better yet though, if you want to come to a winery that puts California to shame, come here.

July 2, 2022. My wife and I showed up at 7:30. We ordered wine and dinner immediately around 7:45 since we knew food was closing at 8. We both ordered bison burgers and a bottle of wine. The wine was delivered promptly but our original usual wine request was out (gander). After that things fell apart. We were notified the kitchen was slow after 15 minutes. After that things really fell apart. Our server brought us water once but did not offer any additional service. Dinner was not delivered until 9:15 almost an hour and a half after we ordered. Dinner was excellent. Additional service including water was not served. To add insult to the wait, after we finished dinner we waited an additional 10 minutes and were not given our check until 9:40. Not the service I would expect for a fine establishment like this. We have been here over two dozen times and this was by far the worst experience.

Great Park! Our first visit to this State Park. Basically had place to ourselves since was late Fall during our visit. Well maintained and is now on our favorite list. Camper cabin is comfy and perfect for our family's needs. Park Ranger Tom was especially helpful, friendly and a huge asset to this Park. Hope to be back again soon@

Went for a short visit and hike in mid September. Lake is large and.pretty. Loon Island has a nice trail. Park has both meadow and wooded hiking. The meadow lake and fish retaining ponds were dried up due to lack of rain this year. Saw a few deer. The campground, cabins and facilities seemed nice.

Park is small, not much hiking but the paths they have are in great condition. Visitor Center is closed during the day, very disappointing. Camp sites look allright to good. The lake is the appeal being there are next to none in SW MN. It would be nothing special in any other water part of the state.

It's absolutely beautiful and quiet! The campgrounds(tent) are very spacious. They have a fire pit, picnic table and restroom at each site so it's private. They have rentals, trails, a beach, and many sites to visit, my favorite was the island! The water is very green and beautiful. It was perfect weather I went at the beginning of August this year. Wasn't crowded very few families, I think we only saw 4. Overall it was lovely!

Located next to Lake Shetek - the largest lake in SW MN - and incorporating several smaller lakes within its boundaries, Lake Shetek S.P. offers lots to do: a decent amount of wide, grass-covered hiking trails; direct access to the Currie Loop bike trail; large picnic area adjacent to the lake; boat access; very nice campsite offerings for both trees/shade and open sun; and some of the nicest cart-in camp sites I’ve encountered, but note they are directly on a part of one of the trails so expect plenty of passers by.
Those expecting unobstructed views of the lake will be surprised to see most views blocked by large trees. The restored prairie is a sight to behold when in bloom July/August- make sure to take the trail out past the Park Office to get the best views.

Beautiful state park. Everything was perfectly mowed and very clean. We stayed in spot 63E in the Sunrise campground. Nice spot with full hookups and a nice lawn space. Bugs were plentiful but we had our screened gazebo so it was no problem. Nice paved bike trail to Currie.

We loved this park! The trails, great lake views, wilderness, history, and quality of the park makes this one of the best in state.
I took three bike rides--one in the evening before sundown, and one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. The sundown ride was great as I saw several deer along my trek. I did an "almost dark" loop around Loon Island.
My daytime bike rides included another visit to Loon Island with my wife this time. I love that island as it gives you great views of the entire lake. I also rode the path to Currie (nice train park there) and then back to the Trail's Edge Cafe before returning to the campground. This was a fun ride through cornfields, woods, and along the river.
This is a great park for those who want a nice blend of hiking, biking, water, wilderness, wildlife, and history. I'd recommend this to anyone as a don't miss destination.

Rented cabin 2 ....very clean and comfortable. Lots of historical places to visit in the area. The park has many different types of water craft to rent to get out on the water if you don't want to drag your own kayak there etc. The hike around Loon island is neat having to gain access to it via the causeway. The swimming area marked on the map between where we were staying and the boat launch area was nice as it stayed shallow for quite a ways out before dropping off so my 3 and 5 year old we're able to enjoy it. Staff were helpful and polite.

Gorgeous state park with so much to do. We hiked and kayaked, but there is also fishing, historical sites, swimming and other water recreation along with special programs. We highly recommend the Park Lake cart in camp site. It is very private and has its own toilet and dock. It is also very cool and shaded and Park Lake is not accessible by motorized boats. We will probably be going back!
Sarah Houle — Google review
Easily one of the most beautiful campsites I've ever been to. I am more of a tent camper so I reserved one of the cart-in sites. They had nice large carts available to Cary your equipment to the site. Each site has a level wood chip pad for setting up a tent and a nice fire pit with a swinging grate. These sites were very secluded and they were right on lake Shetek with beautiful views. I can't wait to come here again.

Great state park. It's a bit out of the way, which is a GOOD thing! Great combo of full, electric only or primitive (even 50amp!) sites. Well maintained and friendly staff. The sunrise campground, which has the full hookups (and where we stayed) is more open to the prairie but still backed up to woods. It has OUTSTANDING night sky viewing! The other campground is wooded and closer to the lake with electric only but the sites we're well laid out to minimize crowding. There are also 4 cabins to rent in that lower campground. There is no beach, but there is a small swimming landing. Cell service (we needed to work a bit) varied from decent to poor, not great. Overall we really enjoyed it and would happily return.

TLDR: Cost is $7 for a day (2021), but it’s worth it because the facilities and park are amazing and beautiful!
Wonderful state park!
We were caught by surprise by the requirement of a day pass ($7 at the time of this visit), as it was not posted prominently anywhere online during research. However, it was quick, easy and Covid safe to get a day pass which gets taped inside the car.
It was completely worth it too! We were stopping for a few hours to stretch our legs, move around, and snack before we headed to our necessary destination. We got so much more than that. The park does have a small playground with some old school equipment, including a wooden teeter-totter and a metal slide. However, the playground is also quite close to a swimming hole. Up the hill are the showers and bathrooms with an access point below. It’s clearly labelled that no lifeguard is on duty, but there is a life ring to toss to those in danger. (We didn’t swim as it was too cold and windy, but it looked lovely. My son had fun sticking fingers and toes into the sand and wading in.)
The picnic tables that we saw were clean and comfortable (no slivers or anything). I did see that they didn’t have a lot of accessible trash cans in that area. We had to go back into the bathrooms to throw things away. Understandable since this is a state park with wild animals, but slightly inconvenient if you choose a spot too far from the restrooms.
Then we went on a walk, and the area is beautiful with both lake and forest views and several miles of walking trails that are well cared for. We didn’t see too much of them, but we did see the boat docks and the causeway bridge to Loon Island.
Gorgeous Park! Would love to return!
Great to see a high point embracing the status. The place is just off the highway and is a pretty awesome little spot. Lots of cool signs and fixtures to look at.

There should really be nothing spectacular about a state high point that would otherwise be the patch of corn that is merely a foot higher than those it surrounds, but Osceola County has done a magnificent job in turning this location into a beautiful gem. From the mural, to the sign posts, to the museum, to the observation platform where you can see miles and miles of corn, this is truly more than just a dot on the map. The county did everything they could to make us highpointers not feel like total weirdos for wanting to stop here to the point that they list the directions and mileage to the other state high points. The walk-through barn/museum is an informative glimpse into farm life. The old farm equipment outdoors is cool as well. There is even a very nice campground across the street. Perhaps a few other otherwise nondescript high points (looking at you, Hoosier Hill IN, Ebright Azimuth DE, and Jerimoth Hill RI) could take a hint here. You might enhance your county's revenue as well (just saying). Highly recommend to highpointers and non-highpointers alike.

Compared to neighbouring states this high point is great. You can tell Iowans take pride in their state. Lots of stuff there funded by privat citizens and groups and park funded by state. Really nice plaque. Its a sea of green around this place in a summer. Essence of Midwest.

Surely a model for all states to look to as they attempt to memorialize their history and geography.
I got to take in the whole complex alone which was truly special.

My rating is not for the visit but rather the information. Since Hawkeye Point is, in fact, only 1670 feet. It is not scientifically a "mountain". Mountains are defined as being a minimum of 2000 feet in elevation. Recommend this article amend subtitle.

Great views of the landscape. Fun to see.
Richard Bruehahn — Google review
While there are no traditional 'highpoint' views, it's still cool to visit. There are license plates from every state, pointing in the direction of its high point; there is a barn and an observation deck; and lastly, there is a small museum with old farm equipment so you can get a little slice of Iowa (additionally, the high point is in a corn field, how much more Iowan can you get than that?!).

A 100-foot Sioux quartzite cliff & bison herd draw hikers, climbers & campers to this sizable park.
I loved hiking at this park. It’s beautiful and full of history. I was able to see the Buffalo herd and camped overnight. The campsites are clean and well maintained. You can even stay in a teepee here. The rocks are nothing short of stunning.

A park full of all kinds of adventures. A decent drive from the Twin Cities but an easy drive. I would definitely recommend staying at the park's campsite (make sure to reserve ahead!). We did the full ~7 mile hike that combines a few shorter hikes. It was an easier hike that would be accessible to many people. I would definitely recommend this.
Make sure to spend some time in Luverne nearby. It's a fun little town with lots going on. Check out Take 16 brewery!
I would recommend Blue Mounds State Park to everyone!

Had a fantastic time camping here. Large campground, but it was quiet and peaceful the entire time. Spot 60E was great because it was right by both bathrooms, the dump station, water, and dumpster. We went on the north hiking trails the first day and had a blast. Saw many different animals and even an owl!! Next day we did the southern part of the hiking trail. It was very long and there wasn't too much to see except the prarie and the large stone area.

Lots of campground options from private small sites to being able to have large groups of people at multiple sites all hanging out together, and that's on top of great hiking trails and some of the best rock climbing in Minnesota. Definitely one of the top Parks in the Midwest.

Good camp ground, water dam, prairie, bison, cactus, prairie, rock outcroppings, quarry, and more. Take the bison herd tour, as we were able to get fairly close to the herd and our guide, Tiffany, took no bull : ). Well worth the ride in the open safari tour truck, and they even provided binoculars for everyone. Could see for miles on top.

Blue Mounds State Park campground is located on tree-lined paved roads tucked in between a prairie and farmers' fields. It's quite peaceful and relaxing, especially with most sites unoccupied during the week.
While the sites don't offer a ton of privacy, they are well-spaced for the most part and some of the loops have foliage behind the sites so you have a bit of a buffer there. The loop we were in (on site 28) has a relatively new bathroom and shower house that is very nice. The other loop has the older-style bathroom and shower house that looked clean but is showing its age.
Even though you probably could rely on your cell phones here due to good and great signals (Verizon and T-Mobile respectively), the campground also offers WiFi that is actually quite good. The transmitter for our loop is on the bathroom building and we have been able to work, including video calls, all week without any issues.
The sites themselves have gravel pads and decent-sized grassy areas to set up screen tents, etc. The park itself offers several things to do, including watching for the protected bison herd out on the prairie, as well as hiking and biking trails that can lead you to a historic quartzite quarry and some great vistas of the area around you. At night, it's nice and dark so you can see a lot of stars -- if you walk a short way down one of the trails from the campground you can even see the Milky Way.
If we are in this area again, Blue Mounds would certainly be a place where we would check for openings.

I traveled to Blue Mounds for a weekend in late September and it was a fun place! I car camped (tent spot) at spot #13 and it was so nice. Right next to the river and close to the showers/bathroom. I would recommend using the showers/bathroom near spots 1-40 as its much nicer and newer. Campground also has Wi-Fi! No check-in or check out when I went, just on the honor system I suppose.
The park and prairie were neat to see. Definitely recommend the Bison Truck Tour! Park is also not too far a drive to Sioux Falls.

Trails are easy to follow with a map posted at every intersection. Most trails are level grass or maybe some incline. I did six miles round trip, but there are enough shortcuts to create your own shorter route. Plus I got plenty of pictures of buffalo up close. The park is only six miles from I-90.

This park is the Gem of SW Minnesota . Lots of good hiking, rock formations and scenery. The park has an active bison heard that you can view. The campground is pretty large and has a new modern bathroom. Luvern MN is just fee miles and is a lovely small town.

Blue Mounds is often referred to as the Stonehenge of Minnesota because of an east/west alignment of stones. It is named after the cliffs, which must look blue from afar but are more of a dark red. The rock is a local quartzite used in nearby building construction that yields to pipestone further down. The pipestone was traditionally used by Native Americans to make pipes.
There is a herd of bison that grazes & will stare back at you if you get too close.
This is probably my favorite park in Minnesota just because it is so calm. You could go to the Grand Canyon (not in Minnesota) & experience beauty, but it is very crowded & filled with restaurants & gift shops. Blue Mounds is just a beautiful, peaceful place with a mysterious history of its own.
Pipestone National Monument is a site of great significance to numerous Native American tribes. It features quarries where pipestone, a sacred material for these communities, is mined. The park also boasts a visitor center and two pleasant walking trails that lead visitors to picturesque waterfalls and quartz walls. At the center, local Native Americans demonstrate their craft of pipe carving and turtle carving, as well as the use of seeds and flowers for medicinal teas.
Very enjoyable National Monument with some rock formations and a beautiful waterfall. The main trail is pretty easy for the most part and it is really only the side trails that get slightly more challenging. Lots of information in the visitor center and the park rangers are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

This place was totally free to hike the trail and also to go inside and watch native carving and a very well put together museum. There’s quite a bit of parking, with restroom and some stuff for sale inside. It’s a circular trail with a couple off shoots that lead to fascinating things like old mines, rocks with old engravings, and even waterfalls! I enjoyed my adventure and will definitely go back with my kids sometime.. great job to the designers, architects, natives, and all the people that have contributed to the stellar setup! Thank you!

Pipestone is a magical and sacred place. The generosity of the indigenous tribes to have their sacred site open to the public is a gift of love. The visitors center is beautifully curated with big opportunities for learning and growth by all generations. The trail through the quarries is an easy walk with very clearly marked signs guiding visitors to take in the beauty. This site is fully accessible to all abilities. My children had a great time, learned so much, and appreciated the opportunity to speak with the pipe makers and artisans.
A note to white skinned visitors: stay on the trails, do not presume to wander into the quarry sites and touch peoples equipment or the stones, and pick up your dog's poop and dispose of it. Would you do any of these activities when visiting a church? Respect and courtesy go a long way. You are visitor on sacred land. Behave that way.

Very fun and informative. A small hike is available to old stone face and the falls. Don't worry. A majority of the hike is paved. There is a small gift shop at the monument. But, the best part is that there's native art makers there to talk to and show you the wonderful pieces they make.

This was so much more than I anticipated due to the very kind folks explaining and performing their craft of carving and shaping the Pipestone. Take the guided tour of the quarry area to better understand the pipestone rock / pipe making story, as our guide Park Ranger Natalie rocked it, otherwise you may not understand what you are seeing. Visitor Center had a good mix of displays, artisans, movie, and other items. Favorite was the loop walk through the natural rock outcroppings and waterfall. My daughter had fun earning her Park Ranger Junior badge through all the activities in the booklet you pickup from the desk. Make sure to stop by the three maidens.

Great little stop. 2 nice walking trails (shorter) (maybe 45m or 1mile) to a fun waterfall and quartz walls. The visitors center was also small but very nice … loved the local Native Americans who were there demonstrating or talking about their craft / trade of pipe carving, turtle carving and use of seeds and flowers for teas (medicine man). Was also fun they had a local zoo showing some local animals visiting … appreciate the extra effort by park to create a nice experience and education for guests

I enjoyed hiking here; as many have said and as the pictures here make evident, it's a pretty place. I've put 4/5 however for two reasons. First is that I don't recall there being bathrooms; they might have been located on the side with the campground opposite, but I didn't camp. Secondly is moreso personal, as even seeing the bridge, I faced it anyway despite my fear of heights. It may have been my mind, but why is it jiggly grating? A sign mentioned erosion though, so perhaps they don't want to damage the area making something more formidable. It has to be a strong bridge with all it's use, I'm just... Be wary if you have a fear of heights.

Even though we could not see more the the visitors center and the jump site, this place is still worth a visit, and the gentleman who was manning the visitors center sure did a good job explaining this historical significance of this place. The trails here are NOT HCA but the Visitor Center is and with some caution we made it to the jump site.

Amazing spot near Sioux Falls to hike for free! Great spots to hammock and hang out along the river/creek. Don’t liter!! If you bring anything in bring it out!! Might want to bring sunscreen and bug spray to make your day better. Come here and clear your mind and enjoy nature.

One of my favorite places to hike and unwind. Great trails, great scenery. Two waterfalls, beautiful river, and a decent/cheap campground on the other side of the park.

Cutting through the South Dakota prairie, Devils gulch is a enchanting town park. With a short, rocky trail around the gulch, it’s an moderate short hike. Picnic area included.
A park with quartzite formations, pipestone quarries & a creek, plus campsites & hiking trails.
A simply beautiful place to visit and experience a true geological marvel. The Sioux quartzite formations are amazing. We visited on a cold, windy April afternoon and wish we had had more time to explore. You won't regret visiting here.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a state park! The employees were super helpful when we tried (and failed) to find the water area to swim in. The rock formations from the river were absolutely astounding and incredibly beautiful. We had so much fun and will definitely be returning again! There were so many hiking trails you could follow that made it still hiking, but also safe enough for just everyone to walk through. There were some tall structures you were able to "rock climb" to the top of and the view was amazing. I have shared multiple pictures of the magnificent landscape!

Absolutely stunning area to go hang out for the day. Beautiful vegetation and a very clean and welcoming park. The camping area and cabins look awesome and are affordable. Im excited about future visits to the park. I took my drone with me for the 1st time and got some amazing video and pictures.

Just a beautiful park. There is camping, looks like electric hookups only, no water or sewage but attractive sites. There are not long trails but the trails there are pretty with good views of the water and the rock cliffs and Palisades. We have never camped there but would do so. There was a play area for kids and they seemed to be enjoying it.
Phae Drus — Google review
Palisades is open all year round. As you would expect, facilities and camp sites are shut down to pit toilets and a handful of campsites. Water is also shut down. The pads are asphalt and long. No problem getting the longest RV into these sites with room for that tow vehicle. I like the sound of trains; this is a great campgrounds to hear horns and listen to those diesel engines power up. While there (later part of March), we saw deer roaming throughout the park. FULL DISCLOSURE: There are mountain lions in the area; no one has been bothered by them, though. We talked with a couple that lived ½ mile from the campgrounds, and they showed us a picture they took that morning of a paw print. They had placed a dollar bill under the paw print, and the print was as large as the bill. They have walking trails and swimming locations (Rock Creek). They also have shear rock formations where climbers practice technical maneuvers and repelling. They have an exceptionally large day area use location with huge playgrounds and covered picnic areas. They also have a balcony area on one picnic shelter that over looks the creek , swimming hole, and rock climbing area. The town of Garretson is roughly a couple of miles away where you can resupply if necessary. I messed up my reservation (I picked a tent camping location instead of a camper location), and a park employee (John) bent over backward to help us out. He even opened a closed site to accommodate us. WOW, THANK YOU, JOHN!

This park has a smaller quiet campground with some nice trails. Shower house is in excellent condition and kept very clean. Vault toilets are also well maintained. A skylight in the roof would have been appreciated, bring a flashlight when you need to go.
All but 3 sites look great. I got one of the three. Sites 26, 27, 28 should be listed as tent only, or as a road side parking spot. Grassy area was sloped beyond reasonable leveling. Even the pavement was sloped both front to back AND left to right. Our site #28 was the worst. Only level shade was between the camper and tow vehicle. We brought the picnic table up to the camper were some items would roll away from us.
No camp store but easy drive to Devils Gulch, groceries, and Sioux Falls.

Nice rock structures to admire, climb on, and take pics around. Nice views. Take the short hike across the old bridge and along the river, over the rocks. Note the pink granite you see everywhere is the same shade as the local highways near and far.

Trails can be slick be prepared.
Nice playgrounds at campsites. Bathrooms scattered throughout. There are plenty of picnic tables in different locations.

AWE INSPIRING, I could walk the trails, see the sights a hundred times and still be in awe and wonder over what God has created. We camped on a non electric site, everything was very beautiful and they are doing good work to make it even better. An amazing spot to get away for the weekend and very close to I-90

I called and reserved a campsite using the online number offered by their website. It was fast and simple. I wanted a cabin but was thrilled with a campsite where I had a nice little fire from the wood I bought at the entrance. 12$ for a good 4 hr fire. Sites were fairly private and it was quiet and serene. They had free hot showers and flush toilets! Everything and everywhere was clean and kept up. I was impressed and for 36$(campsite)+ 8$(car pass). I will go back more often! Famous story of Jesse James and the leap at Devils Gulch… great family place and easy to get to! Great job to the curators and employees..

Camped here for a week. Great campground, great host, and absolutely gorgeous. By far one of the biggest and most scenic campgrounds I've been to. I love how the fire rings are not right next to the camper pad.

I've seen others post about this park and always wanted to visit. It's absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen a park so well maintained, yet keep the natural beauty of nature. It's almost like going vack in time. Walking the trails is easy and has plenty picnic tables to stop and take in the views. It's seriously such a perfect place to do a bunch of things, although it isn't huge....it's calm, peaceful, and beautiful. I will be back.

GORGEOUS trails for hiking with your dog(s)! We, of course, were out here in late fall, so we had the park COMPLETELY to ourselves! It has beautiful rocky trails if you have the ability to climb, and mountain goat dogs, but it also has a mowed grassy path all around the campground if you want an easier trail, and a completely paved, one-way road all around the site that you can also walk if you would want to, since it's a 10 mph speed limit. You basically have no reason to stay in your RV if you camp here! Plus, there's at least one, SUPER GREAT playground for the kiddos! (I have to admit, my "child" is 21, so I wasn't paying much attention, but this one was so awesome it was hard to miss!)

One of the first South Dakota state parks I been to. Very nice park helpful staff at the entrance parking was tough on a busy weekend camper cabin look very nice with deck and fire pit plenty of trails and great scenery.
Scott Matakis — Google review
This is a beautiful state park and well worth the $8 admission, regardless if you're staying over night or simply taking a short afternoon stroll on one of the three trails. When I visited it wasn't over crowded, but I also went in the middle of the week on a day that was 100 degrees. And despite these often crowd limiting factors, I still encountered plenty of people. I must admit, the people were not on the trail. They were in the water, at the camp sights, and on the bridge. However, I was never out of earshot of people talking, kids playing, and campsite noise. Nice but not quiet. Pretty but also pretty small. Worth a visit, but I would not go on a weekend or higher traffic time.
The facilities seemed well taken care of.

Beautiful state park! Be on the look out for snakes, we saw over a dozen in one area. But overall, a great place to hike with cool views. There are also restrooms available near the parking lot.
Modern rooms with flat-screen TVs & iPod docks, plus a casino, golf, dining, 2 pools & a spa.
Stayed in the Grand Master Suite. What a room! Felt like a celebrity. The pool and hot tub are AMAZING. Best and most unique in the area. We had the Saturday night prime rib buffet; which was delicious. The customer service was excellent; staff very attentive and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more.

We had a room and the key to the room didn't work. The group had been in the pool so we didn't have IDs with us. The front desk staff came with us to the room to let us in and verify ID which they explained was a safety measure to prevent thefts in rooms which I would agree. All the staff we encountered were very kind and courteous to us. The food at the buffet seemed like it could have been better for the price but it is what it is. Over all, the facilities were lovely and there was a great deal of live music.

Grand Falls casino is always a great place to go. It's super nice to have something that high end close to Sioux Falls. They do a great job there. The foods you get is always good. Service can be a little slow at times when they get super busy. But they keep trying.

Mostly great, limited food options while I stayed, could be staffing related. That said everything I did get was very good. Nice outside pool area, rooms were a challenge at night. No real low light option to find bathroom, either lit frosted glass or complete darkness.

This casino has pretty loose slots. It is a smaller casino. It has ample parking , including valet. It has a hotel as well. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They serve alcoholic beverages. They have self-serve beverage stations where you can get soda and coffee. The restroom is large and clean.

Went for Christmas day buffet. Was very clean and spacious. Staff was very polite and patient despite how crowded it got. Prices for the buffet was very reasonable. Liked how nice and spaced out things were so guests weren't right on top of each other while eating.

We have stopped here a few times just passing through, the rooms are great, clean and comfy. The front desk service and security guards are helpful and friendly. The food at the dew drop was really yummy but they had weird hours for all the other restaurants! The casino is a smoking casino so if you don’t like that it’s not the place for you. If you like drinking, it’s not the place for you either. The drinks are not comped if you are playing a machine or tables, there is one “server” that walks around about once every couple hours. We had to ask multiple people to watch our machines so that we could go get beer. We never got to golf as when we came it was winter but I would like to come back and try the golf course! All in all it was a good stay but be prepared to get your own beer while the server stands at the bar and gossips.

We stayed at their RV campground right on the property. Rates were very reasonable with full hookups. Short walk to the casino where we we’re free to enjoy the amenities. Pool and hot tub were nice with a pool bar. Had dinner one night at Ruthies. Very nice restaurant, the food and service was great!

We were there labor weekend we usually go every weekend to enjoy because of the place and music. But yesterday was very very bad experience for us. This guy with jacket(Nick) tall white guy. Comes up to me and my husband question us to check out Id’s which we respectfully showed even though we have to let the security scan before we come in however we still showed because he said we looked too “young” and he goes about asking my brother in law for id which I don’t understand because he’s way older then us. And he has been coming to this casino for the last 12 years. And goes on and screaming at us saying “this is the law” like we don’t know the law that we need to be the 21 to come into the casino. We were no way near underage. He treated us so bad I don’t know if it was because we are brown. Or what. He needs to be retrained and how to respect everyone equally. I do now appreciate how he treated us we will not be coming back again. DO BETTER!

I had requested a low level close to microwave on 1st floor and stairs. We were put on top floor furthest from stairs, was told we would get a good view, instead it was of a field. No light bulb in lamp. Otherwise all you can eat buffet was amazing!

The place is nice. I like it. The reason for my 1 star rating is because I never win in the casino. Dropped easily 1,000.00 in one night. Been there many times. So I stopped going there.

I went here for a business trip. Hotel was very nice and clean. It has a refrigerator, a coffee maker, iron and an iron board in the room. There is no microwave. The bathroom is very contemporary. Very nice. The cleaning person doesn't clean the room every day. They only clean when you check out. There is enough towels to last during your stay. The room was on the south side. It was nice and quiet. You won't hear any noise from the casino or the band playing in the casino. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this place for your next stay in the Sioux Falls area.

This is the second time I visited this casino. Both times I’ve won pretty well there. The people are very nice. The dealers are really helpful. Even the people in the Cash cage are really polite. Slots are great. They’re fun most of them work really good. The only thing I have to say that is kind of a bummer is if you’re there between like 4 AM and 7 AM and you get hungry and you have to stop playing and drive to Sioux Falls or starve. It was kind of a bummer to find out there was nothing open with food inside the entire casino. But I still had a great time.

Grand Falls Spa: The staff were friendly and the amenities provided were nice.
The Falls Golf Course: The course was AMAZING. It was very well maintained and the staff were excellent. The waterfall was designed very well and provided a wonderful view.
Big Drop Cafe: I want to give a huge shout out and THANK YOU to one of the staff. I regret not getting her name. She provided excellent customer service and went ABOVE and BEYOND. Because of her, my mornings started with a delicious, custom coffee. She was so pleasant and sweet!
Grand Falls Hotel:
Staff - The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Public Areas - Most of the public areas were clean and well maintained. The only notable exception was the indoor pool and hot tub - that entire area was worn and dirty.
The Room - The room was VERY disappointing. This was one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I've stayed in... anywhere. ALL of the surfaces were sticky and smeared and/or dusty. The mirrors and windows were completely covered in grime. There were several dead bugs stuck to the inside of the windows. What appeared to be soda, was dripping down part of the walls. There were crumbs on the carpet and garbage crammed into the side of the chair seat. In addition to the uncleanliness of the room, do not expect any bathroom privacy. The room has a partially frosted window to the shower and there is only a window between the shower and the toilet. Basically, you can see from the room straight to the toilet. Our room came with a balcony and while having a balcony is nice, it too was very dirty. The balcony door was challenging to get open and closed. While I debated about asking for a different room, I wasnt confident that any other room would be any cleaner as this wasn't just a case of one night of poor cleaning - it was clearly repeated neglect.

Great rooms. I got mine free. Cuz I gamble a lot. It doesn't work well for disabled folks without a scooter. It's a long walk from check in with bags. To your room. It just isn't cohesive for that. They will push u to your room. And many staff offered. Unfortunately, I'm 380 lbs and I do not want help. I'm disabled. But, of course I'm not disabled by choice. Many wonderful workers. Top of the line. Made the stay a very good 1.

This is what one of my favorite regional casinos. The facilities are amazing on par with Vegas or Reno. The weekend buffet is amazing. They’ve upgraded the RV Park which is located near the driving range and golf course. This is a great place for a group outing or getaway weekend. The Sports book is a nice add-on with plenty of seating to watch games on the big screen. All that being said, an employee told us that you can’t use the putting green or the driving range unless you also have a tee time. So, I’ve downgraded this review back to a 3 star. With free driving range which is what we were told yesterday this was a 5 star.

Had a comped standard king room, the room was clean and bed comfortable. It was -29 with wind chill and I wanted to get away from Sioux falls for a night. Full table games were open and sports book was busy. The food at big drop was ok same for the buffet on Sunday. No luck gaming this time but that's gambling and I'll keep swinging away as my entertainment for the month

In my opinion, The rooms are just okay and for the price I would drive eight more miles and go to the Holiday Inn before I'd stay here again. The rooms do not have a microwave and the refrigerator that's in the room is subpar. It would barely keep anything cold. I also was given a gift card for Christmas and could not use it on the gaming floor which it does tell you that online but I'm not sure if the person who bought it for me knew exactly what they were getting. This is the second time I've been to this facility and I would not come back. It's extremely inconvenient for check-in which is at the front of the casino but yet the hotel is at the back of the casino so you have to walk all the way across the casino just to get to your motel room and for people who are elderly or have difficulty walking that could be a problem. Seems to me that the hotel desk should be by the hotel. The people were very nice but you could tell they were definitely understaffed and we were not able to eat there other than breakfast. And for the price it's just okay. So for these reasons, I would never come back or stay at this location again.

Have no idea what happened to this place used to get comped rooms. I live out of state last couple of stays staffing for table games has been very light. Both last 2 stays.I could not get on bj tables and craps tables. And now lost my comp rooms. Buffet is only open a couple days a week. Frustrating when you want to gamble and can’t because of the staffing. Guess I’ll have to gamble at Royal River where I can get on the tables. Disappointing but I guess they don’t want my businesses.

Okay... So the hotel staff is nice. My bed is hard as a rock... Even that isn't the end of the world. What kinda did it in for me was the shower. The shower tub had a crack in it that the staff just glued shut. The drain plug doesn't drain and the water came back up... Hairy and clogged. It was gross.

Always enjoy coming to this casino, great selection of slots to choose from, we went on a Sunday night so not busy at all. Love that they have drink stations to get yourself a soda or coffee, even iced coffee through the casino floor. We did not stay in the hotel this time so unable to give that a rating or my opinion. Would choose this casino over Grand falls anyday!

The rooms are very comfortable and nice. However, there was something wrong with the shower, barely any water came out. The sinks were really funky too, the water was kind of spraying everywhere. I went down to the pool and the water was extremely cold. It was like ice cold water from Alaska. The spa was great though; the hot tub. The food was delicious, we usually order out from here. Do something about your pool, I couldn’t even get in it; extremely cold.

One bartender for the whole place, not very polite. Check in was amazing, very fast. Room was decent. The buffet was good. Did not have my salad dressing, 😐 the brisket was good, not enough items for the price. Did not win, or even come close. Maybe got into a feature 2x for every 3rd game. Betting in the middle and maybe received 100.00 on the very first initial feature and that was it. Betting high with my Husband and got the feature maybe 4 times. 120.00 win but already had 600.00 in...not a very good place to win.

The restaurant was ridiculous!! We got seated and told our waitress would be right with us, 25 minutes passed and nobody came to even ask what we wanted to drink. There was plenty of workers there and they all looked at us and didn't bother to come over. There was 4 girls that were doing absolutely nothing but standing there talking. The restaurant was very dirty, there was plenty for the workers to do but helping customers should be #1

Unless your used to retirement home food I would stay away from the brunch buffet. I don't think I have seen less appealing food...dry eggs, dry old tater tots, no drip pan in the bacon so it was super greasy...I really could go on...if your looking to find someone who knows how to actually run your food and beverage department give me a shout....after all this, these are not the reasons for the poor review....As stated above we had the buffet and made it through one time...going back up to grab the few edible things on the line(the egg pan had been empty for atleast ten minutes at this point) there was a lady literally eating out of the food with her hands and then disregarding the tongs and scoops going back in to grab her serving if things tasted good...I was blown away by this lady's actions and immediately reported to multiple servers...I was told they were keeping an eye on it...but what concerned me the most is that there was zero effort to switch out the food...I waited 10 min to see if it happened...nothing...we promptly paid and left without an offer of a discounted meal seeing we didn't get to even enjoy your half hearted tainted buffet. All that said I understand you can't control people but to simply disregard health and safety standards you guys should be shut down immediately.

Went for the steak dinner special and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The portions were appropriate for the price. I'm not sure how to rate the service because there was NONE. We go out to Royal River frequently and always have a good time. The rooms are decently priced, the food is good, and we've done well playing the slots. The only real complaints I have are that it can be hard at times to find an open spot at a table, and there isn't much for options to eat after 10 pm. If you do get a spot at a table, you will find the dealers to be friendly and helpful. Remember to gamble responsibly, and if you're drinking, please don't drink and drive. Good luck to all who go out there.

Been to this casino about four times on my travel route back home. Completely the worst casino ever for gambling. I’ve lost every single time no matter what machine or what I bet. I suggest if you come here to have fun, save your money and be happy you still have your money. Go to Walmart and have some fun spending your money on things you can keep. Figure if you come here four times, and never win once that says a lot.
