Whenever I am in town, I have to stop in at least 2-3 times. The ice cream, milk, everything is so fresh and delicious. And you can see my favorite animals - cows!!

We always love.coming here. It's a great time for the entire family... kids and adults will enjoy this, and we recommend taking the self guided tour to see the barn out back where the cows are milked. The gift shop has a lot of nice things too. The ice cream and milk are worth coming for also.

I haven't been to your dairy, but a few neighbors had milk cows when I was a kid in Iowa. One neighbor was always bringing milk over in a huge gallon sized mason type jar. As a kid, I thought the yellowish white stuff on top was gross. Little did I know it was the best part.
Mom cut up some fresh peaches one time and served them with the cream. Heavenly!
I had a pint of your premium ice cream, Tasha's Tornado. Very good.
Bought it at NuVu fuel.

Ice cream was great and the goats and sheep were fun to pet and feed! Saw a lot of happy cows on the self guided tour too. Also, their cheese curds squeak because they are so fresh! We bought some chocolate milk while we were there too that was also delicious and creamy.

This is a nice family place to stop for gifts and ice cream. If there are kids in your group they’ll enjoy the vast outdoor playground. Other dairy products and frozen foods are also available.

This is a great place to walk through the dairy and see the cows. There's plenty of places for the kids to play outside and wonderful playground equipment to play on. And there's the mooville store out front that you can get your ice cream souvenirs and many many dairy products from. My favorite is the coffee ice cream!

Mountain Moo doesn’t taste like Mountain Dew to me. Lemon Poppy-Seed Cake tastes authentic and very cake-like. Unicorn Poo is probably the best tasting for an indecisive kid. Black Cherry is an excellent choice when you want a nice blend of sweetness to chocolate ratio. “Pieces of Heaven” didn’t actually taste very good. Tasha’s Tornado has strong peanut butter flavor with just the right amount of chocolate chucks similar to Turtle ice cream topping from a squeeze bottle. Cow Trails is chocolate to the extreme with a hint of vanilla and tastes like it has dozens of tiny peanut butter cups in every bite.

This establishment provides an insiders look of how milk is produced. The self tour allowed you to visit the farm, see the large barn where the dairy cows live, and produce milk through the modern red robot. Being a city dweller, you get a first-hand experience to farm living. There is a store where you can buy lunch, eat ice cream, and buy farm produced merchandise. It has a child playground with animal pens where you can get a closer look at various farm animals.
My friend and I enjoyed this visit and you will too.

First visit to Moo-ville, very nice place, cozy seating area inside. Plenty of ice cream varieties hard and soft. There was a full menu of goodies from shakes to cones to specialty stuff. Sizes are large. My small treat was pretty large. There is a self guided tour of the facility, but my group didn't participate in that. Just the ice cream 😜 We will return.

Great place for families. The covered picnic area has shades to pull down and protect from bad weather. Cute country store. Ice cream and other food to purchase. Great play areas and a free petting zoo.

Unique and fun place to visit! Loved being able to see the inner workings of a dairy farm up close. Great for kids and adults. Hilarious seeing the cows activate the brushes/back scratcher. Many ice cream flavors! Really good hand-dipped shakes. First time here and kids are begging to go back when the petting farm is open for the summer. Nice playground, sandbox and kid area. Friendly staff, too! Thanks for offering this neat opportunity!

Such an amazing place! It is worth the drive to get to this out of the way destination. Plan to pay the $3 for a self guided tour and see how automation and gravity (yes, gravity) help the process to make MOOville the #1 (2021) Chocolate and #1 (2022) Vanilla ice cream in the NATION!! And the 'petting zoo' is an extra bonus for your little ones.

So great! Family Run Dairy it's awesome! You haven't been there I highly recommend you take the kids and go! Or if you're a kid at heart go get some of the peanut butter and jelly ice cream!

We had so much fun here. The play area was fantastic! Covered picnic area, sweet goats, bunnies, pigs, and other farm animals. The bathrooms are very clean! Ice cream was very delicious here. Indoor eating area with a gift shop. We loved feeding the animals the most! My grandson, I believe loved the oversized sandbox!
Restored Gothic Revival, Italianate & Polynesian-inspired historic house built in 1860.
An amazing story behind this house! Take the tour it's totally worth it.

A true gem of architecture located in Marshall Michigan. You definitely have to stop through and visit this most unique museum with a hawaii themed mural and lovely little archifacts.

The house and its history are very interesting. It is obvious that the staff knows the history of the house and town and cares about it. Our tour guide, for example, had decorated the place for Christmas and added some of her own items where needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Great place for apple picking. You can also find some cool pumpkins, there’s a corn maze, some recreational activities for kids and a small farmer’s market where you can have some pumpkin donuts and hot cider. Highly recommended, great family friendly environment.
Jos? H. Quintero — Google review
Went out picking with my Husband today. First time here so we really didn't know what to do. First you need to get a green bag for picking. Then you need to get your hiking boots on because the apples we wanted were the last row (Ida Reds) . Their were a ton of apples on the top branches. But of course no ladder. So my Husband found one a few rows up and brought it to me. Then I was in my glory ! Picked one bag then went inside and had the best donuts and coffee. Left buying a bag of utility apples for $11.99. They are great for sauce.
But we had a good time!! We are both in our 60's so it was good exercise and beautiful weather !!
Katherine Cramer — Google review
Great orchard! Even though I'm tech savvy and can navigate their online map - I would still like to see more signs marking the Apple varieties.
Still, love this place. It's our second year visiting and will become our go-to orchard every fall. (I enjoyed stopping in their market in the off season when I would be in the area.)

What a wonderful farm to visit. My family and I enjoyed picking the blueberries which were so plump and juicy. It was fun taking photos and picking sunflowers. We ended our visit with an apple cider slushy and fresh blueberry donut. Yummy! Everyone was so courteous and truly made our experience a great one. We will be back.

Lots of apples and beautiful sunflowers!
We went back this year again and there are so many apples: U-pick price is $15 for half brush bag (~20 lbs). We were just in time for Honeycrips, Empire, Golden Delicious, Mac, organic Liberty, organic Jonthan. We passed by so many different sunflowers that we cannot help taking lots of photos! They were much brighter, beautiful, wider varity than what we saw in Uncle John's Cider Mill last week! Definitely worthwhile to plan another trip to pick the sunflowers next time.

10 stars! Beautiful very large indoor store with generous selection of expected orchard and beyond favorites. Our 1st but definitely not last visit. Cider, donuts, flowers, and pies! Large corn maze and UPICK area for apples and sunflowers. Yummy tart cider slushies. Free to park and wander. Apple packing and additional carmel apple making viewing stations were unexpected favorites for my 8yo. Festive photo spaces throughout and ample covered seating with tables available to relax and enjoy the snacks. Nice playscape and bumpy hill slide. Tractor / ride with plentiful seating for tour of grounds. No animals. All staff were very friendly. Lots of handicapped parking on paved lot near entrance.

The Country Mill is a GREAT place! I have gone many times, and I always have a nice time. The last time I went, Cheri was so helpful and friendly! She gave some great suggestions on what apples to use for a recipe. I will definitely keep going to The Country Mill : )

Took a road trip to Michigan and found this gem. The farm experience was amazing. The staff were so friendly and outgoing. The fresh doughnuts were the bomb. I was assisted by Crimmson, Denise, Kim, Steve J, and a few others that I didn't get to note their names. They helped me spend my money. ;-) This stop was definitely a highlight of my trip. I picked up doughnuts, 3 bottles of wine as gifts, apple butter, 4 bottles of Apple Cider Vinegar, Cool coffee cups, a cider slushy, and of course a bunch of apples. Thank you for a memorable experience and I will be back on the next trip.

Me and the family went out to the Country Mill today.. it was a wonderful experience. Country Mill offers a lot of activities for adults and kids.. wine tasting, homemade pies, and donuts. The organic cider is amazing. The gift shop is sweet..

Cute place but needs better labeling of apples for picking. They give you a sheet that's supposed to help but I could not find signs for any of the apples that were supposed to be ready for picking. Apple cannon, pumpkin slinging and train ride were fun.

My husband and I frequent the country mill with our son. We have always had pleasant experiences. Today we had wonderful service from a young lady at checkout. Her name was Lauren. She was extremely polite and respectful, and I believe she was new. However, she grasped the job and its responsibilities beautifully!

We LOVED The Country Mill! It was our first time there, so we didn’t know what to expect, but the staff was SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY! They showed us exactly what to do and helped us so much! We had so much fun! The selection was great and we can’t wait to go try the things we bought! We really appreciated the help and kindness Riley and Deniese showed us! The owner(sorry I didn’t catch her name), Was very kind and helpful too! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I went to the country mill with my daughters and grandson. They absolutely loved picking apples. On our way back, we stopped at the Orchard Barn and ordered a dozen donuts (which were delicious) and a gallon of cider. Sherlina was our cashier, and she was super friendly and got our donuts out super quick. It was overall an amazing experience. Thanks Sherlina! I also loved the scenery at the pond.

Attended a fruit tree pruning workshop with the owner. He is very knowledgeable on the subject and was willing to stay late answering specific questions. The information was great. I only wish I had attended the workshop sooner. Will definitely be returning with the family to visit the orchard during harvest season.

Lots of fun things to do here. . . From you pick peaches, apples, or blueberries to shopping to baked goods or classes thru Eaton Co Conservation District. The class on fruit tree pruning was very informative. I loved that it wasn't just classroom lecture but included a walk thru the orchard to see first hand what was being taught. Can't wait to put my new found knowledge to work!

When someone hears The country mill they think donuts, cider, apples, pumpkins, wedding venue, which they have all of the above and are wonderful but my husband and I think POPCORN! They have THE BEST small young tender white popping corn that we have ever had and we used to buy fresh popping corn every time we traveled to find the best! They are also extremely accommodating and caring! The season doesn’t start for a few more months and they went out of their way to remember us and that we had reached out for more corn last year and texted us to let us know they had some in stock now and then allowed us to come today and purchase it! We LOVE The country mill for so many reasons including the popcorn but the care and kindness that Steve and Bridget share with our community is one of a kind! Thank you!

Thanks Steve for such a an informative pruning workshop. I've been a patron of the Country Mill since I was a kid and have carried the tradition on with my own children. Thank you for offering a wide variety of engaging experiences. We always enjoy our visits, young and old.
The Michigan State Capitol is a National Historic Landmark with a prominent cast-iron dome roof. Visitors can take tours to learn about the state's history and government. The capital building was once located in Detroit during the War of 1812, when Michigan was on the border with an enemy. It provides an opportunity to gain knowledge about the state's past and present as visitors move around the building.
This was my first self guided tour of the capital and it was amazing. The first steps into the building and I was taking pictures. Everything that you see is worthy of a photograph. The dome is something that everyone needs to lay down and enjoy. In fact plan ahead and wear a coat so you feel free to lay down. Make sure that your adventures take you through the gallery looking down at all the history. Even the tile floor and door hinges are pieces of art. Plan on spending at least an hour walking around at a steady pace to see everything. On my second trip I will spend more time looking at the paintings of all the former governor's. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of building that they artwork was secondary. Just touching the handrails and imagining all the past history is awe-inspiring. If you are new to the area or have lived here your whole life spend some time on yourself and enjoy our state capital.

After visiting Wisconsin's capital building, as well as Ohio's, decided I needed to drive up and check out Michigan. The building is very impressive. I just took a self guided tour as I didn't have aot of time to work with. The gave me a nice booklet that explained everything. It took me about 45 minutes to stroll the building. Such magnificent architecture. Surprised the place wasn't more busy with people walking around considering it was a Wednesday at 3:00pm.

Must visit place in Lansing, the state capital of Michigan is beautiful architecture Building.
There are planned tours . If you are in groups of that’s perfect. Even if you are small in number you can join any group. It’s 1 hr guide tour.
We arrived just before the tour started and were the only ones when it started (late afternoon on a Friday).
Always like the tours as you get more info and history about the capital and state.
We had a good time moving about the capital building and learning as we moved along.
My daughter enjoyed a lot of about building.

Almost a personal tour on the day we visited. We were here collecting another stamp for the boys passports (all State capitals). We arrived just before the tour started and were the only ones when it started (late afternoon on a Friday).
Always like the tours as you get more info and history about the capital and state. For instance, it's easy to b forget that Michigan was once on a border with an enemy (war of 1812) and the capital was Detroit at that time and had been captured.
We had a good time moving about the capital building and learning as we moved along.

Monday, May 16th was the best day to visit and tour the Capital. The Senate was out until 10am Tuesday. We got to see the Governor's office among other offices. Senator Curtis Hertel Jr was there and invited us onto the Senate floor and allowed us to take pictures with him. This was the best!!! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. It was the best tour ever! 👏👏

What a beautiful architectural wonder right here in Central Michigan. With a history spanning back three different buildings, it's no wonder they decided to go big with the current version. I enjoyed spending the chilly evening making memories with my family in Lansing under the shadow of the dome.

It was an amazing experience to be at the capital for Citizen Lobby day. The inside of the building is beautiful, full of hand carved details and ornate decorations. There is so much to look at from the floor to the ceilings. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous and all different with their own character. The house floor is the place to be, the views are breathtaking. Lost of history under this roof and would make a great location for field trips.

During a visit to Lansing, the state capital of Michigan, we saw several families with kids walking around the capital building on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Four beautiful churches stand within a block of each other. The cathedral was open and visitors could just walk in, offer a prayer. One has to be careful to stay on the main stretch of-course and be mindful of crime as in all parts of the US. Remember, Michigan is an open carry state when it comes to guns. Gave lower rating because of safety concern.

I love this Capitol's style. Dome isn't as big as some other State Capitols but it is striking, a slender exclamation point to a beautiful building. Surrounded by well-kept grounds with statues and historical points of interest. We were unable to visit the interior but had time to observe a sunset then repeat the next morning in the rain, watching a calm protest. Nice to see free speech in action.
I recommend if you are in Lansing.

Potter Park Zoo houses 500 animals from four different continents, including endangered species. The zoo's on-site eatery and snack bar provide food options for visitors. The zoo provides an intimate experience with the animals and offers them the choice to be seen by the public or to take some alone time. The establishment takes excellent care of all its animals, as they have sweet stories about how they were brought in, some being rehabilitated while others are endangered.
It's a beautiful zoo to see animals with little add-ons. A "quiet area", play and pretend for young children.
There are a lot of signs with information about the individual animals (which is a cool way to get your child to read instead of you reading it to them😉)
The staff is very kind and helpful, the zoo has a park in front of it that is nicely set with trees so that you won't have to sit in the burning sun.
The prices are pretty reasonable considering they are used to manage the zoo and everything it entails.
Currently the Zoo is undergoing construction to make the walk ways better, so while we did not get to see all of the animals on our visit we did receive tickets for free entry for our next visit. (Which is pretty awesome and kind)

The biggest animals are the Rhino and Camels. The pony rides were closed when we went. I loved watching the silver eyed wolf pacing about. The Rhino was quite active but all the big cats were being lazy at mid-day.
I recommend mosquito spray! Not as many kid play areas as other zoos in the state, our kids commented on this as we left.
Overall it's a fun way to spend an hour or 2 in the morning to see more activity. A nice excuse to get some exercise!

Winter rates are low and the crowds are less, so I definitely recommend going during off season if you want a more intimate experience. The animals mostly walked right up to where we were observing from which was really amazing! I’ve loved visiting this zoo since I was a very young child, but I’ve realized more recently that some of the enclosures seem…. Small. Don’t get me wrong, most seem to be a nice size, but it’s difficult to process a tiger or lion living in the space they’re given when they naturally roam much bigger areas. Otherwise I think the animals seemed well cared for and I saw many employees working hard to take care of them!

Love this little Zoo! So many great exhibits, clean, some exhibits under construction but to be expected at this time of the year, still plenty to see, has snack shop, easy viewing of animals, low entry fee, had a wonderful time❤️

We LOVE Potter Park Zoo! I went there as a kid for field trips and now bring my kids there. It is plenty big to see a wide variety of animals but small enough that my 3 year old will walk it with no complaints. They have both endangered species as well as local animals such as elk and Bald Eagles.

We had an AMAZING experience. My daughter is in kindergarten, and this was her first field trip. There were 3 other schools there at the same time, but I never once felt crowded or waited in any lines. They have food in the park, a gift shop that's affordable, a tornado machine ($3), and a photo booth ($7 for 4 slips). There was plenty of parking and a huge park attached to the zoo for the kids to burn off more steam. Plenty of shaded benched areas for eating and relaxation. There are plenty of benches throughout the park. The animals are beautiful, though their enclosures are small. I'm sure they're happy and taken care of. $15 adult entry, $5 parking. As for a wristband, if you plan on going out and coming back in.

Awesome local zoo. Now is a great time to visit: not only the zoo has many cute animals, camel rides ($7/person), goat hair brushing... but also lots of interesting and beautiful flowers blooming all over the zoo! A great outdoor experience! Looking forward to be able to do pony rides again.

Super relaxing zoo. All the animals are amazing. The lion had a lot to say as did the bald eagle and most birds. And we were joined by 2 peacocks. Was very enjoyable. Would be back if I lived here. But when I come back to MI I’ll swing by when it’s a bit warmer. Also the cows and goats were having some words lol. Was funny and a good time.

The best zoo I have ever been to ! I have never been to a zoo where you could get so up-close to the animals. You could also tell that all the animals here were well taken care of and shown lots of love. The animals here all had sweet little stories of how/why they were brought in. Some were there to be rehabilitated, and others were there because they're endangered. It was so amazing how the animals were given the option of being out in the open to be seen by everyone & then to also be able to have their alone time. My favorite highlights were the bats & the owls!! I will definitely come back for the butterflies though, because it was closed when I went.
Kylie Arsenault — Google review
I visited in March - Good: price was low and there were only about a dozen people there. Not as good: a third of the animals were off exhibit. Yet is an great zoo for a city of Lansing's size. I explored the whole thing and it took 2 hours. Animals range from big (rhinos, camels, lion, tiger, cows) to small (snakes, lemurs, penguins). They have a petting area, pony rides, a nature play area, and camel rides. Nearly all is shaded, so in the summer should be good. Nearly all the animals are outside; there are 2 small building for monkeys and reptiles.

Nice zoo, clean, and easy to walk around.
There are currently no wolves; it seems they were transferred to another zoo to keep a sibling company after they lost their companion. Nice zoo keeper talks and fun reptile house. There is a decent playground outside of the park and plenty of bathrooms with changing tables.

I went for one of the 21+ evening Zoo Nights and it was great! Definitely eat beforehand because there isn't a ton of food available but there were lots of drink options and a really fun scavenger hunt information sheet to fill out and get more drink tickets. It made it an adventure and I really enjoyed it, probably more than I have previous years. There was also a baby lemur which was adorable.

As a kid I grew up loving this place and I still do, it's a treat to get to know all the animals and their names, and the employees are the kindest people and take phenomenal care of the animals. They also go all out on decorations for the different seasons, Halloween had so many big spiders and cobwebs and getting closer to the holidays it's lit up with a bunch of beautiful x-mas trees. (If you play pokemon go this is a great place to play it as well)

Potter Park Zoo is a great local attraction and an easy way too spend quality time with the family. Like many things these days the zoo can get expensive quick. Eat before you get there. My personal favorite attraction are the big cats. Not sure how accurate my assessment is but every time I go when it is a bit chilly the tiger is always enjoying laps around the enclosure. You are a couple feet from him when he passes. It always hits home for me how majestic, life can be when I see him. The zoo could do better with PR letting customers know when there is construction that closes a major piece of the zoo. But besides that if your In The area it’s worth the trip.

Went to an event this month in the evening and it was so much fun. We got to really experience boo at the zoo. The animals were so social we've never had a chance to be that close to the big cats and we've been here so many times. It was really cool! These were taken with like the worst camera too so excuse the quality 😒 anyhow again, as always, it was fun, the staff are always so helpful too at these events and I know we're there after hours so I don't even know if they get paid but everyone is always so kind. I've got a really bad back so people can often see I'm struggling to walk and the zoo staff have been helpful more than once regarding my back. I only wish the scooters cost less or there were a way to get like a waiver I don't know just an idea.

Really nice zoo with a lot of beautiful old architecture that you normally don't see at a zoo. Lots of happy animals and really nice exhibits. It's definitely a smaller zoo as far as zoos go, but bigger than the Saginaw Zoo we normally visit. It's also got lots of room to expand and fill out.
Michigan State University is a prominent research institution located on a large riverfront campus. The university boasts strong programs in medicine, business, and education. Visitors to the area can admire the impressive rotunda inside the capitol building, explore MSU's nearby campus in East Lansing, and grab a meal at the unique Golden Harvest Restaurant. Michigan State University has a beautiful campus. The campus really shines in the summer and fall. The red brick buildings are iconic. Close to a commercial hub with shops and restaurants. Always a beautiful place to go for a walk or run! Grounds are kept up well and lots of space to enjoy with nature to see. Recommend exploring the bird sanctuary at Baker Woodlot and Rajendra, Lewis Landscape Arboretum, MSU Horticulture Gardens, and enjoying the trails alongside the Red Cedar River.

Definitely the best venue! Wonderful 40th Anniversary concert with Jessica Vosk of the Broadway Hit Wicked! If you haven’t seen a show at Wharton, you’ve got to experience it. Great acoustics. Friendly staff and volunteers. And performances that will leave you awestruck. They also have a great gift shop that will have you rolling! There is even a piano in the passage from the parking ramp to the center that you can feel free to play! Definitely one classy place!

Not much to say. Looks like any other university in the country. I give a plus star cause I like their colors.
But way too many colored haired weirdos, with Palestinian flags and Black Lives Matter signs. Hideous. Deplorable. Ingrates.
Hillside waterfall built in 1932 with fountains & pools, plus dramatic light shows & fireworks.
Great place to spend a day!! The park is gorgeous, there's the falls(evening time), playground, splash pad, pond for fishing, CLEAN restrooms!! The falls are super inexpensive & the food is so well priced!!

It cost us 19 bucks for admission (3 adults and one senior) and the snacks were an okay price. but the Cascades are what you would expect it to be. Water falling with lights. The staff was friendly and the light show at 9:30 was cool. The only thing I could complain about is around 8 all these random people in workout gear started to gather around and then proceeded to do an hour long Zumba class while blasting pitbull. Other than that it was fun.

This is much prettier than what I expected when I saw it earlier in the day without water flowing. During the nighttime hours with the water flowing down the cascading Falls everything is illuminated in various colors.

Always a nice place to visit and the light show and singing is awesome. Since the pandemic numbers seem down. This place used to be packed at night. You're missing out on a great family fun event for the little ones. Disney night was fun!!! Some nights it's $10 for a car load of up to 8.

So many memories here as a child and now I take my children. Family nights on Wednesday and fireworks on the holidays. Walk up the staircase, enjoy live music, snack bar, and amazing fireworks show. The park itself is also beautiful with walking trails, parks, splash pad, ice cream stand and more...

Very pretty. Attended a wedding here, it was very beautiful. Chairs will be hot if it’s summer time and sunny so bring a towel to sit on. The water park attached to the area was corded off so we didn’t have random people walking around the ceremony. The parks attached are very pretty as well. All in all very clean organized place to go. Being from Texas this place was a very nice change.

Was really cool to go in the on-site museum. Which I feel they should tell people about it at the admission counter. We learned a lot about the falls and how old they are. You can see(up close) she needs a little help. And hopefully the people of Jackson can help to keep the falls alive, as it is amazing to see. We are from out of town, but would go see it again when in the area.

Wonderful place to bring the kids or for a nice date. Beautiful multi-colored Falls and fountains.
Update – June 2022. The music continues to be great and it's a wonderful setting. However, it is evident that some repairs will be needed on parts of the falls. In addition, the lighting on some of the steps is not bright. One must exercise some caution when walking up or down the many steps.

Probably the only thing to do in Jackson thats not terribly boring. More of a family thing but also fun to just go and hangout and watch the light show. Its pretty cheap, I believe its 5$ and on their firework night it is 7$. Their firework show is always great!! They do have a concession stand inside but on firework night there are always food trucks. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions you have. They did just add in a splash pad so if you have kids they will love it.
Sandhill Crane Vineyards is a lovely place for an evening of wine, flatbread pizza, and live music. It's family-friendly and accommodating to children. The property offers beautiful farmland views and high-quality wine and mead during events like the Raspberry Festival. With a variety of sweet and dry wines, as well as beer options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can sit on the deck overlooking the stunning vineyard, making it a great spot for a weekend staycation.
Nice vineyard not far from home. I can’t wait to go back and visit during the summer, they have a nice patio to sit out on.

A very nice vineyard. The wine is great. My favorite is the blue skies. They also have a small variety of cider and beer to choose from as well. The charcuterie boards are well out together, and the food is decent. My pizza was actually really good. I wish the panini had a better crust on it. Overall decent food. My only complaint is the pricing on the food. 23$ for the charcuterie and 16$ for my flatbread pizza. The pizza was tasty. The picture below is special they had which is Parmesan sauce with feta cheese, mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Which I did enjoy, however I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion size. 12$ would be more reasonable. They have live music and game nights. I've been here 3 times and have enjoyed myself every time.

Great to support a Jackson-area business that has great inventory and is clever in creating a wonderful setting. We enjoyed our wine sampler at a tabletop fireplace on a chilly afternoon. It was wonderful. (Especially enjoyed the blueberry wine).

Nice venue and great hangout place with food. Something to drink for everyone. Sweet and dry wines offered in both red and white. Beer too. My favorite this time was the Black Cat (like a good Merlot) and 840 Beer Barrel Reserve (a fun port like offering though pricey) Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely evening of wine, flatbread pizza, and live music! Absolutely recommend for a beautiful evening outside! The sign said "family friendly" and all the workers were truly understanding of my toddler running around, thank you! One thing that would make it more family friendly is if you got a little outdoor playscape or playhouse, there's so much land and I know A LOT of parents that would pay to drink and be able to let their kid play freely for awhile. Cheers!

I don't usually listen to my dentist when she tells me to do things ("brush your teeth" and boring stuff like that) but she told me to check out Sandhill Crane Winery and I was not disappointed! My Wife, miniature schnauzer, and I came here during their Raspberry Festival and had an absolute great time drinking very high quality wine and mead, eating delicious food, and just looking out the porch at the beautiful farmland this property sits on. We even saw 2 sandhill cranes flying across the field so I think that means we win.

My favorite week of the year is for the August race. I've been camping on and off for 20 years, started in Northfield and the last 15 in Brooklyn Trails. I enjoy the atmosphere, many neighbors are the same year to year. Upgraded to the Champions Club in 2021 and it is worth every penny. Great food and air conditioning, nice seats with a good view.

Been to multiple truck races here and me and the family have had a great time at all of them so far. There has been good staff getting you in the entrance quickly and there is plenty of food options. The extra activities and shops/tents/trailers for gear and activities have all been fun. Getting out after has never taken too long compared to other venues and shows. Have fun at the races!!!

One of the best experiences in my life! After being at the fence on the finish line while these cars go by at 190 mph, throwing hot rubber on my face, I could've fought a bear. The sound of the high RPM and loud exhaust was like a choir performing the ultimate Star Spangled Banner!

First time at a race. Went with family that have been many times. This place is huge. Lots of bathrooms in facility or Porta Potty's that are in parking lots. Decent food and drink offerings. Even though you are in basically bleacher seats, there is enough room that you can move. The seats have backs on them so that is nice. You can bring in backpacks and soft-sided coolers with food and drinks!!!!! The atmosphere is awesome because of how big the track is. Only negative was the parking. For some reason they had most gates closed to enter the speedway which made it very difficult to leave.

Went to the race in August. The seats were kinda steep at first, but once you walk up and down many times you get used to it. Amazing, loud race!
DJ E — Google review
Not exactly sure how to evaluate a “speedway” since this is my first but it seems pretty good to me. We visited for a college Formula SAE electric race car competition and although it was a blistering HOT, not-quite-summer day, it was otherwise an impressive venue for car racing. While this is not the fault of the International Speedway, the surrounding area does not have a whole lot of options for food & hotels other than nationwide fast food and basic hotel chains. The speedway has plenty of parking and the necessary amenities like restrooms and food sales but no food sales during one-off events like the SAE competition. Not much shade though, so bring a hat!

Great track with very fast racing, the views can be tough if your not near a screen. The NASCAR races are always a blast, really brings people together. Food and drink selection are good but seating in a shaded area is limited. There are events throughout the year also.

I've been here 3 times and as a race fan it dosen't disappoint , decent food for the price , facilities are pretty clean and the racing and fan interaction is really good , get the pit pass and you will appreciate the experience, camping is good but a little loud at night .
Duane Graves — Google review
The venue is great! Lots of food and drink options on race weekend. Their policy allowing people to bring in food and drinks from outside is great, especially for people that have food allergies and sensitivities. One big negative was parking, especially on a rainy day. The grounds were muddy with limited traction and a few cars got stuck. It also took a while to leave as no one was moving and no one was directing traffic.

Update: Any person working with a radio can call for transport for someone who needs it. Not too many people working seemed to know this, but if you let them know you need it and that you were told it was available and that the ADA tent will send someone it should work out. We learned this at the end of the day so our friends did not benefit today but will from now on. Original post; It's completely unfriendly for anyone with a handicap. Even a walking handicap. Every other racetrack uses their golf carts to move those in need. Here, you have to find the ADA tent to ask for help. I'll help you out. It's in the middle of the parking lots, north of the man bridge. All other golf carts drive by empty, saying they can't help. I know everyone wants rides on carts, so it's tough, but when you have someone clearly in need, do something. The vendors are in such a weird spot that it is really hard to get to. I don't know, guys. Frustrated on Friday!! I'm pretty easygoing. But so far this is not my favorite track. Oh and they need trash cans!!!

I took my 17 and 16yr old kids today to get them more interested in the sport I love .. We had to wait 2hrs just for a helmet. Seems like you have 20 small and XL but only a hand full of medium and large. They had a AMAZING time once they got into the car but that was another 90mins. We had an appointment but it seems walk ins overran the place and having a time didn't matter!!

Don't expect good customer service.
I paid for 6 laps and a few upgrades. When I got off pit road my head phones went silent so I did one lap around the apron of the track before pulling into the pits, this counted as 2 laps. When they sent me back out and I got up to speed they had me do 3 laps then told me it my checkered lap. Then afterwards told me to go ahead and stay in it through turn 3 this was my fourth lap since most people get their checkered after their last lap and pull off the race line in the back stretch I don't think this should have counted as a lap. When I talked to the lady at the trailer about it see said there's nothing she can do. She was very dissimive and didn't seem to care.
The experience was cool but I only got 3 and 3/4 out of my 6 laps I paid for.

Shopping-mall chain featuring a variety of brand-name & designer outlet stores.
Totally found this by mistake. I went on a super cold day. Which ended up being perfect. I was pretty much the only person in every store. The only store I was unimpressed with was Nike, cashier had an attitude and they have a security guy at the door that wears sunglasses in the store? I mean I don't get why you need security? Especially one that thinks he is Joe cool 😎

While this center does have many options, there are quite a lot of empty lots. I feel like this place has potential, but it just needs to have better outlet shops. On a positive note, I will say that the buildings and parking lot is kept in great condition and the atmosphere here is very welcoming. It’s not the worst shopping center ever, it just needs a little more.

This place is so big with a lot of shopping outlets and a lot of offers with cosmetics, clothes, bags and women's wear. There are a lot of options and specifically a croissant sandwich place which is too good. The middle of nowhere. I wish there were more options inside the outlets but the one that is present is a quality place.

Great value and sales depend on the store. Just be cautious and alway check what time the mall closes. Ever store runs on that time and not the store time listed online. For example; Stetches store online says they are open till 9pm but they are not. They are open till 7pm with the mall itself.

They also have sketcher's, Nike, famous footwear, I don't like shopping with large crowds and luckily I'm only 5 minutes drive from here so I go at 10 am when they open. It's my first time visit to Tanger outlets. It's built in a very huge area, there are many different factors outlet stores here that includes GUESS, GAP, CALVIN KLEIN etc. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of varieties of inventory available. Best during summer. People typically spend about 2 to 3 hours here. The main advantage of the outlets is the price, inventory and you find lot of competitors for each product. This is little far from the place I live. Rest everything is fine.
The Purple Rose Theatre Company is a small, cozy venue that showcases both modern and classic performances for its audience. In addition to theatrical productions, the theater also offers educational programs. Despite some minor prompting during a recent show, the quality of performances is usually exceptional. The theater currently requires masks and proof of vaccination while limiting capacity in accordance with safety guidelines. Diners can enjoy nearby eateries such as Common Grill before or after shows at this intimate performing arts destination.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Preview performance of Diva Royal at the Purple Rose Theater, written and directed by Jeff Daniels. I took my mother, and we both had a wonderful time. We lost my father only a couple months ago so just like Jeff said "We needed a laugh".
The show is a hilarious and heartwarming comedy. The cast is superb, and Daniels' direction is spot-on.
While the show may seem to be tailored to older women, I assure you that it is enjoyable for audiences of all ages and genders. The humor is universal, and the characters are relatable.
I was particularly impressed by the Q&A session with Jeff Daniels after the show. He was gracious and insightful, and he shared some great stories about his career.
Overall, I highly recommend Diva Royal. It is a well-written, well-acted, and well-directed show that will leave you laughing and feeling good.
PS I hope you enjoy the photos I took before and after the show. I understand the rules about video and photography, so I made sure to only take pictures when the show wasn't in progress.

We go to this theatre about four or five times a year. The venue is a nice quaint size. Every seat in the house is a good seat. I have never seen a bad play or been disappointed. We usually make it an outing with a group of friends or family. No photo taking is allowed. The plays are shown for a period of time with several options, so you can usually make a reservation without any problem. Larger groups you would want to check immediately, though. It's easy to get your tickets online, pick your seats, and pick them up at will call the day of the play. I recommend you see a play, have dinner at the Common Grill, and enjoy.

We saw the play Diva Royale, and it was spectacular!! What a cleverly performed play. The actors were wonderful and made the time fly by. This is a theater in the round, and the actors did not have any props at all. But even so, you knew exactly what they were doing and wanted you to understand. Overall, it was an excellent performance and one that we tremendously enjoyed. I highly recommend the Purple Rose Theater and Diva Royale!!!

Amazing experience! Ordered the tickets in advance, very cooperative about helping us change to more favorable seats and easy pickup at the window. What a gem! Another great night of entertainment! We are so grateful to have this theatre in our "neck of the woods." We try to attend a show at least once a season and have often said we should become season ticket holders. Perhaps, as we become empty nesters that might come to fruition. I’ve always wanted to attend a show at the Purple Rose and with my wife being a Pickleball club President we finally found an excuse to go. The new Pickleball show was a hoot. Funny, charming and very well written. The messages and themes will resonate with every fan of Pickleball. Great performances by the entire cast. Might be a little lost if you don’t know the game but the theatre atmosphere would make up for it. If I could give one tip. I’ve never sat so close to a stage. Try and get a front row seat.

Absolutely amazing local theatre with a fascinating history. I've seen multiple shows from them and it never disappoints. Everything from the production itself to the people who work the food stands are amazing. They often work with local artists/restaurants/actors.
If you've never been to a theatrical production but looking for something fun, I highly reccommend this place. They do a variety of shows so there's something for everyone here!

Beautiful!!! Not many places exist like this anymore and it is so beautiful. The smaller size is wonderful, too. Classic, clean, friendly staff, and a gem to see and experience

We attended the Live in the 80s concert on 4/23/22, and it was a blast. This was our third time attending a show at the Croswell, and it is a hidden gem. If you want a fun night at the theater, without the hassle of traffic and rude people, this is the place to go!

Went to see the play Kinky Boots and it was phenomenal! The theater is absolutely stunning with so much detail, it really takes you back in time!

Very nice and well kept older theater. Very friendly staff and performers presented an excellent Broadway show!

My first time at the Croswell with two friends in town. We all agreed: the show (Beautiful) was the best any of us had ever seen. The cast, chorus, stage production... everything was superb and would rival any performance on Broadway. We were so thankful we went. And the audience couldn't stop applauding!!

The Rock and Show was fantastic. First part of the show was various artist music and the second was all Journey songs. They rocked the place.

Had a wonderful night with my husband! There is a bar to grab a drink before the show; the prices weren't bad. There also isn't a bad seat in the house. The sound was mixed well and the live band also added to the ambience! Gotcha see a show if you visit the area!

A beautiful old theater in a quaint little town. We seen Jekel & Hyde this past weekend. What an amazing cast! The lead man was fanominal and very talented. The leading ladies were amazing.
I have never seen a bad play here. Well worth the price of admission. While I like the idea of unique show drinks at Farvers. The price is astronomical for what you get.

Accessibility to people with disabilities was excellent. With a lift and elevators available. Seats were comfortable, sound and lighting along with sets were great. All around one historic site that people can still enjoy.

Family-run farm with pick-your-own apples, hay wagon rides & a huge corn maze, plus a winery.
The donuts inside are we're good. They had a really nice play place for the kids to play. For some of the rides you need to purchase tickets. They had some farm animals. There was a train ride that took you around the orchard. They do take credit cards. The cider and donut line moved extremely fast!

The ciders and wines are excellent and high quality. The ciders are smooth with a wide variety of flavors. The wines are very tasty especially the Honey White. The staff are friendly and helpful. A gift shop is also on property where they offer treats and specialty gifts. Highly recommend visiting and tasting a half wine flight or a full flight in the tasting room. ❤️

We stopped here because of the good reviews and all it showed they had to offer. They have a winery that has great drinks and service! They also had a ton of stands set up where you could get hot food and snacks. They had lots for adults and kids, making it perfect for families. I have been to a lot of orchards, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Cant wait for my favorite time of the year to come back around!

Absolutely amazing! Best cider mill I've ever been to. The doughnuts were so fresh, soft, and yet crisp. The cider was deliciously sweet. And, they have so many attractions to keep the kids entertained! We hope to come back and test a flight at the winery next time.

First time visiting this place with the 20mo old. She loved the play area, the animals, and the doughnuts. We recommend going here if you have some little ones. Definitely try picking your own fruits from the orchards but buy some sweets and local gifts from the country store.

A family run farm with a market and winery that is open year round.
We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not too crowded. You pay 3.00 a person to pick. They take you by wagon to the orchards. When you are done picking, they weigh your container and you pay for your berries.
We picked a pint of raspberries and a container of blueberries. They also have a sunflower field that you cut your own sunflowers..$10 for 5.
Next up will be peaches in August. Apple picking is the most popular but they do sell fresh donuts, cider and fudge year round in the market. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly.
After picking we sat in the outdoor area by the tasting room to sample some of their wines and ciders. They also have a kitchen serving a few food items. The Coney Dog was amazing!
For a fun day out in the country, Spicers is the place to go.
John Moore — Google review
Spicers does things right. Donuts and Cider are delicious. All kinds of activities and different food options on the weekends. Not very busy during the week and a lot of things are not open. So many different options of snacks and more inside the barn. You can ride on the hey ride and pick your own pumpkin out at the patch. Overall a great experience. Lots of parking and not a lot of waiting to purchase anything. Would definitely be back when I'm looking for a good Donut and Cider spot.

Spicers was such a fun day out! They had so many animals, a great playground area, wonderful store with some of the best donuts and surprisingly amazing cookies! The hay ride was so fun and the driver did a great job of describing the apple 🍎 orchard lay out. They have different kinds of apples and had multiple stops for getting off to pick off different fields. The staff was all so kind and helpful with everything. I appreciated all the hand washing stations and sanitizer bottles placed through out the farm. They have more going on during the weekends: they add a train ride and have some mini theme park rides, etc. but weekdays are nice and quiet and usually have more older couples coming out for some cider, donuts and the winery.

Stopped in while driving by today, and so glad we did!!! The cider was amazing, and that Ice Wine is delicious!!! Steve answered our many questions in the tasting room.... that guy should get a raise! The little bakery and shop is filled with goodies. I can't wait to go back.

We went to the train ride and cabin and it was awesome. Going into the cabin to see Santa one on one made things a lot easier for our little, to give him alittle time to adjust and not get overwhelmed, and the train ride was nice for him to be able enjoy the ride and look around. I definitely recommend going and taking bc the kids. After everything, you get hot chocolate or cider and a donut.
Ashley Farrer — Google review
We came to pick apples and enjoyed the day! You pay in advance for your apple bags and then wait for the tractor wagon to pick you up and take you to the orchard. The wait wasn't long. The shoppe had a lot of things inside, including the fresh fruit, but also jams and jellies, popcorn, ice cream, donuts, cider and more.
there is a play area outside that I did not see anyone at, I wonder if it is only open on the weekends. We did not pay for an admission fee. My family also enjoyed the donuts. There is also an animal area.
Kathryn Friedlund — Google review
Popular Fall favorite. This place can be very busy on weekends. Plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and full of sugar. Must try the cider and cider apple donuts. There are wagon hay rides that can take you to pick apples and several kid carnival style games. If it is a great weather Fall weekend be prepared to search for parking and then walking to get to the Orchard. They also have a winery that does serve some appetizers and sandwiches on certain days, check before you go.

Still a good place to visit.
They did move the food trucks. More parking for everyone. They even added live music.
Not so many people because of Covid19. Still a decent amount of people.
The atmosphere is still the same.
I should add, the play area for the kids is only $2. A lot cheaper than Blake's.
Both, Blake's and Spicers have really outdone themselves. Great job to both places for bringing meaning to "Cider Mill" or "Apple orchard".

Going to many cider mills, I was not going to get excited. We heard of this place because everyone was going there. Fenton? That's pretty far away! Boy was I surprised! This place was like an amusement park for the kids. Animals, rides, food, etc. Wow. Giving this place a 10! for the effort. Wow. You really need to see this place to enjoy it. They had ZIP lines, jumping thing, etc. You can ride a pony! Pet an animal. Walk a MAZE. Enjoy a hay ride or pick apples yourself. There was about 200-300 cars out today. Sept 25, 2016. Nice numbers.
Come here if you are on the West side of Detroit.

We did the corn maze and loved it. It's not easy! Then a wine tasting and the store. Going back another time to try the ice cream flight, yes that's a thing. 5 ice cream samples for 8.50. If you have children, there's lots for them too - small petting zoo, playground equipment, donuts and cider, wagon rides, and life size checkers. Definitely recommend.
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is a vibrant, 4-story location that offers over 250 science-focused exhibits for children to play and learn. It is an ideal destination for kids of all ages and their parents. While some visitors have noted that it can get quite crowded during peak times (especially in light of current COVID-19 concerns), the museum features a wide range of engaging activities suitable for kids with various interests and heights.
Great place for kids of all ages (and their parents). We went over holiday break so it got a little too busy for our comfort (in the time of covid) but right around opening it was nice. Many activities for kids of all heights and interests. Our kids were sad to leave! Appreciated that everyone was wearing masks, but some parents could try to remind their kids to distance (especially for our under 5 crew). Also, I’d suggest the museum add many more sanitizing stations. There definitely were not enough for how much touching is happening. Thanks for the great time!

We visited on a Tuesday at 11am and upon walking in, we were a little put off at how busy it was. There were so many field trips and any time my son would get a chance to play with something other kids would come and try to take over. It was very off putting. We decided to leave and get lunch and came back around 1. By this time the majority of the field trips kid had left and the place died down drastically. We actually got to enjoy the exhibits and learn while we played.
I would recommend waiting until 1 on weekdays if you have younger kids. They have an eating area with limited vending, no real food.
Overall it was a nice museum with friendly staff.

It was our first time here and our 18 month old absolutely loved it, I don't think she knew what to do with herself, which made us love it. She absolutely loved the water tables in the preschool gallery and everything in it. Which also has an infant area. She was so overjoyed by each floor, she ran through everything. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger but there was still so much to do, we had a great time. And if you've never been there, to get to floors 3&4 it's by the eating/vending machine area which is by the room with the ambulance. 🚑 enjoy yourself, we did!

Nice exhibits for children of all ages. Although kids of ages 5-6+ will enjoy the most. Ticket prices are okay, online and counter purchases are available. Parking is a bit hard around the area, though lot many public parking spaces are available. Didn’t happen to be much crowded given the long weekend.

In the heart of an already lively city, this fun, educating museum is so great. Multiple floors of so many great inventions, technology , history and so much more. Hands on stimulating exhibits that are not only teaching the kids, and the adults too lol but making it fun in the process. Its kind of tucked away there on ann street, and parking can sometimes be annoying but its all worthwhile for the kiddos. Put the phones and the tablets down and get a membership their going to want to come back for sure!

Awesome place. There are activities for all ages. I have a kid of 5 years old and 1 year old and both enjoy this museum. I bought the family membership, I am planning to come often.
A good advice, Need to bring more clothes because there are water activities and are really fun.
The first 2 stories are the most interesting. The 3rd and 4th are small.

This is a cool museum! My 9 and 11 year old kids really liked it. There were tons of things to do. It is harder to find parking and I believe it is all paid parking. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is that it is dirty. It is really dusty and you can tell surfaces are not wiped down. Especially high touch surfaces- it’s a little gross. I’m sure during the pandemic it was better but cleanliness is definitely lacking at this point. Kids and adults are $16 to enter. Visited on the Saturday after thanksgiving and I thought it would be crazy but it really wasn’t too crowded.

We have the family plus membership and we're using it a lot! It's nice to be able to bring guests with us. My kids, 4 and 1, both love the museum. Our top 3 favorites are the H2O, pre school area, and the ambulance. We avoided coming during special events such as winter break activities due to overcrowded visitors. We always try to come at 10, right when it opens, or later at 3pm, so it's quieter. That way the kids can explore more freely, and minimum to none waiting time.

The Big House, the historic 110,000-seat football stadium at the University of Michigan, hosted a free Spring scrimmage event that was enjoyable and recommendable. The game was entertaining, and some penalties and calls by referees made it even more amusing. Children were allowed to meet players, get autographs and step onto the field. The stadium is an impressive piece of real estate with a rich history that can be appreciated even by non-Michigan fans. Highly recommended for all visitors!

I do wish there could be some form of cushion for the seats, but that’s really it. The food tastes and is fresh for every game. Really I have nothing bad to say even walking to the stadium it’s really cool seeing the other wolverines walking and basically taking over the road lol.

A football game at the big house is an experience like no other. The atmosphere is unmatched. This is the largest stadium in North America and the third largest stadium in the entire world, so expect packed games because they almost always have sell outs. Crowds of over 100k are common place here.

Well it was our first game at the big house. It wasn't as bad as we were told. There are washrooms everywhere...
The seating is very uncomfortable. I suppose it would be if you were 5 foot tall. I'm 6'2".. I had no where to put my knees but into the back of the guy in front of me. Though I suppose it was ok as the guy behind me had his knees firmly pressed into my spine. The stadium holds 109000 though I'm betting if they changed that to 70000 you would have had more comfort. The atmosphere was amazing. Other then feeling like a sardine the whole time... it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Best stadium of any sport at any level. This stadium was meant for football. Awesome environment and the efficiency with which it handles 115,000 fans (parking, traffic, people movement, food, bathrooms, concessions, support staff, safety) is superior to any stadium - pro or college - by a long shot. The atmosphere and facilities are first rate. The fans are great. The football spirit is great. Not a bad seat in the stadium. The only criticism is that it's too crowded - well no duh, how else do you fit 115,000 fans? As a Chicagoan who travels to many different sport venues, U of M stadium is so much better than any pro-sport venue, its not even close.

Just saw the maize and blues 2022 spring scrimmage with the kids. It was a free event and I can't say how much I would recommend it. Not only the game was entertaining as always but it was additionally entertaining to hear some of the penalties and calls by the refs against the opposing sides in funny ways. The kids got to go down onto the field and meet the players and have signatures! Definitely a highlight of their spring break!

Largest stadium in the US, didn’t disappoint. Looking to watch a game with 110,000+ of your closest friends? Look no further! You’re packed in a little tight and forget leaving for food, drink or the bathroom if you’re not in an end seat, but there is no other experience like this. It was amazing, will definitely go back. Bucket list item checked off. Go Blue!

Great place to see a game, "The Game"! The Big House holds a lot of fans and the energy is out of sight! There are plenty of food choices and the bathrooms downstairs are huge! If you don't mind a little walk, you can get out of town fairly easily. Awesome experience!

Holy Moly, this stadium is large. My bucket list was fulfilled by purchasing, flying to Michigan, and watching the Wolverines host the Buckeyes and seeing who remains undefeated between two unbeaten and powerhouse teams. I have to say, I was overwhelmed with the crowd capacity, the energetic vibe despite very cold temperatures, and the overall collegiate Big Ten Football experience. I don’t know which is better, a very hyped college game or a dynamic NFL match-up game. I highly encourage true collegiate football fanatics to come experience the vibe here at the Big House when your team comes to play here, it’s unlike any other college stadium and football atmosphere.

We had so much fun at this game! They really make these games a full experience, it was really nice - once in a lifetime type of feel. We came to a college tour and I initially got scammed on tickets (my fault). During the tour I met some other parents/alumni and they blessed us with tickets they couldn't use. If you wanna come I highly recommend planning way in advance but it was such an amazing time. Getting in was easy and fast despite so many people (100K!). You can't bring bags in, but if you forget (like me) they also have a fast and easy bag check. I was impressed how they accommodated so many people. Even for bathrooms and concessions we never waited more than 1 minute in a line. Also it's extremely accessible for those in wheelchairs. 10/10 highly recommend, if you have an opportunity to go you won't regret it!

An absolute powerhouse of an experience! The sheer magnitude of this iconic stadium is awe-inspiring. I had the incredible fortune to witness many games here, and it was nothing short of electrifying. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and passion from the devoted fans. And to top it off, witnessing 'The Game' victory here was an experience I'll cherish forever (3 times in a row!). The energy was crazy, the cheers echoing through the stadium were spine-tingling, and the shared love for maize and blue among fellow supporters was awesome. The stadium's layout ensured an excellent view from wherever I was seated, and the facilities were top-notch. This stadium embodies the spirit of college football and leaves an indelible mark on anyone lucky enough to be a part of the action. A must-visit for any sports enthusiast or Michigan fan! Go Blue

Great experience! This was my first visit to The Big House and it did not disappoint. They displayed the new light show and it definitely got the crowd hype!
It's a nightmare trying to get through the crowd so "quick" trips to the bathroom or concessions can be daunting.
Worth noting - Invest in a seat cushion. I'll be getting one with a back rest because it can become uncomfortable sitting on the bleachers after a while.

My daughter graduated from Michigan as a triple major and then got her Masters in Management from Ross. She also played in the famous Michigan Marching Band. When she graduated she was offered jobs on Wall Street, as a book editor, as an advertising executive and at Google. U of M is right in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor and so it is extremely pleasant to walk around on campus. The academic buildings are extremely nice as well, inside and out. It is a very large school so the student generally remains fairly anonymous (but if they make an effort, they can stand out) so they remain distant from the professors. The University also has tons of extracurricular activities of all kinds -- which is awesome, but does make it difficult to find time to study. Overall, it's a great place to be and offers so many opportunities, it can be an amazing incubator for professional success.

Update: the professor I had been in touch with, professor Lohmann, seems to be as unprofessional as the rest of the faculty I had the misfortune of dealing with. We had a fine zoom meeting where we discussed the program I was interested in and he’s the one that had me reach out to someone of Jennifer Alexander’s job title for further assistance as well. Lohmann was supposed to get back to me the following week and I have not heard back since. Take your money, yearning for education, and search for good mentorship somewhere else. You will not find anything of value at this institution.
Awful staff, such as Rose Cory and Jennifer Alexander. I’ve tried to go about seeking help with admissions and the only help I’ve received is from an actual professor. Rose Cory works in admissions and completely blew off our zoom meeting, later contacting saying another meeting went late but couldn’t even have the courtesy to send me a message prior to our meeting letting me know she wouldn’t be there. Jennifer Alexander is just pathetic and doesn’t do the job she’s listed to do on the schools website. I doubt I will continue to give this institution any more thought for enrollment. Absolute trash faculty.

It’s a whole new loving world here. Night life is everywhere with good to high end restaurants. The roads are all proper especially for Michigan weather. Alumni donates heavily to this school. The city works with UofM to help them expand.. it’s like the whole area is family it’s incredible!
I legitimately can’t say a single negative and I am a commuter except I just wish I could drive less haha. So many parking structures lol it’s only a few minute walk. The M bus is accurate too.
Put it like this… if you get accepted to The University of Michigan.. after doing research and or visiting campus you will be going to The University of Michigan.

This place is really the best hospital in MI... Been there a lot, unfortunately. I'm 34 now but I had a stroke at 32, and they took real good care of me!

My experience as a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor has been nothing short of amazing! The campus is not only stunning but also buzzing with energy. The professors are world-class, and the wide range of academic programs ensures there's something for everyone. The resources available, from the libraries to research opportunities, are unparalleled. What truly stands out, though, is the sense of community and school spirit. Whether it's cheering for the Wolverines at the Big House or collaborating with fellow students on projects, being part of UMich is an unforgettable journey. I'm proud to call myself a Michigan student, and it's a definite five-star institution!

I'm an alum, and it was the worst 4 years of my life. The faculty do not care about your success and there is almost no student life, unless you have wealthy parents.

Public school? Hardly. You don't get kicked out of public schools for not paying. No, it's a publicly funded PRIVATE school. What's a word related to "private" kids? That's right. It's PRIVILEGE.
Massive green space offers 2 beaches, a golf course & nature center with exhibits & guided hikes.
Ample, well kept park with plenty of small lakes, pavilions and open piquenique/barbecue areas, beach, farm center, and a number of long Nature trails with plenty of wild life particularly birds, including turkeys, white and blue egrets, woodpeckers, sandhill cranes, swans, cardinals, bluejays to name a few. A nice park for quiet relaxation year round.

This is a gem of a park with tons of wild life and great places to walk your dog and hang out and BBQ. I would say, though, that once it gets closer to sunset, please make sure to wear bug spray and you are near water. Sunsets themselves are gorgeous! I highly recommend checking this park out. Excellent nature retreat in Metro Detroit. Also, you need a Metro Parks pass to get in or pay the daily admission fee. I recommend getting the pass!!

The red trail was so awesome! There is so much wildlife to see.
Many birds ate birdseed right from my hand, which was an awesome experience. The restroom was nice too. It's a building, not a Porta potty.
I highly recommend this place.
And, in some spots, the mosquitoes & flies were a bit annoying, but other than that, they weren't that bad.

Love this park! Tons of stuff from disc golf to horse riding and amazing bike paths abound. Beaches are packed in the summer, but you can find some hidden spots if you look. Fishing for anglers, paddle boats for the couples, nature center for activities and learning. One of the biggest disc golf events of the year is held at the toboggan hills. Great place to see eagles, cranes, deer, turtles, etc. $10/day and I think $55 for the year. Well worth it. Gotta check out Holdens on Milford rd for amazing food, beer pop and water, disc golf discs, fishing gear, and snacks galore.
Nick Oliver — Google review
This is my number one favorite Metropark.
During summer there are lots of fun activities for kids and adults.
You can also visit the farm area.
There are many spots for picnic, some by the water and some not.
The beach is also really nice in summer time and it gets crowded during weekends.
Fall is a whole different story here, you would see many many different colors.
If you’re planning to take good fall pictures I do recommend to go here.

I live on the bike trail, right next to island lake state park and Kenaington Metro. I go there most every day, twice today. And have for 10 years now. Yes, you can say I love it here
The birds, the water the bike path. The everything. is nice.

Kensington Metropark is a beautiful park located in Milford, Michigan. It is home to a variety of activities and amenities, making it a great place to spend a day with family and friends.
We enjoyed the nature trails so many birds, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits. Some birds came very close to us and we enjoyed seeing them so close up. The boardwalk near the nature center is a good place to spot fish and we saw a huge prehistoric looking turtle. This was a nice place to visit.
William Julien — Google review
It can be a busy place on the weekend, but it’s a huge park with lots to do. Bird watching is fabulous and they eat right out of your hand (so do the chipmunks!) be prepared to drive around to the separate areas (farm, nature center, playground/beach area, splash and blast water park).
Laura Wood — Google review
I enjoy visiting Kensington Metropark as much as possible no matter the season. Feeding the many wild birds from the palm of my hand is the highlight of my visit. Many different birds may be encountered, as well as deer, turtles, and chipmunks. The Farm is always a joy to visit and pet the goats. If you get a chance right now, you may go down the sledding hills, cross country skiing and hike the paths. A place I recommend visiting anytime of the year.
Becky Lipka — Google review
Great park. Some reviews knock on the fireworks event, but when I went a few years ago it went fine. The disc golf courses are nice and challenging, and do require an extra fee most of the time. Good for hiking and biking. Nice for fall colors as well.

Great place for taking wildlife photos! Some of the bird species you’ll see are sandhill cranes, geese, red-winged blackbirds, wild turkey, herons, and swans. Check with your local library regarding free daily passes. This park has something for everyone: a farm, beaches, kayaking, bird watching, places to bbq, bike trails, and more!

Kensington Metropark is an absolute gem for nature lovers! The park's vast 4,481 acres offer a wide range of recreational activities and breathtaking scenery. Whether you're into hiking, biking, picnicking, swimming, or fishing, there's something for everyone here. The well-maintained trails and serene lakes create the perfect setting for a relaxing day outdoors.
I was particularly impressed with the variety of wildlife and birdwatching opportunities the park has to offer. It's a paradise for bird enthusiasts, and I spotted numerous species during my visit. The Nature Center is also worth a visit, providing informative exhibits and educational programs.
If you're bringing the family, the Splash 'n' Blast water park is a fantastic spot for kids to cool off during hot summer days. Additionally, the farm center is a hit with children, allowing them to interact with farm animals and learn about agriculture.
The only minor drawback I encountered was the occasional crowds, especially on weekends and holidays, but it's understandable given the park's popularity. Overall, Kensington Metropark is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a day of outdoor adventure and natural beauty.

I have been going to Kensington Park since high school. Now I take the grandchildren. The Park is always evolving and improving for the enjoyment of it's patrons. There is a beautiful, peaceful lake for boating, fishing and swimming, with very nice beaches. They have a children's splash park at one of the beaches and an amazing play scape with a padded ground below it at another. Lots of pavilions and picnic areas/tables throughout the park. Plenty of trails for hiking, jogging and biking. My favorites are the petting farm and nature center. Kensington is a great place to unwind, relax and connect yourself to nature.

Beautiful metropark to run, walk, bike, fish, kayak and more. An 8.5 mile paved path with add-on trails circles Kent Lake along with multiple fishing docks at the west boat launch parking area. Deer, sand cranes, turkeys, ospreys and eagles can also be spotted here. Great place to get outdoors all year long.

Spent three hours here and even though it was cold and drizzly, my kids and I didn't want to leave. Fed so many different types of birds right out of our hands. I recommend bringing your own unsalted peanuts/sunflower seeds or birdseed.

Love the trails to bike and hike. Don't forget your helmet. Lakes and scenery are amazing, as are the leaves right now in October.
Fun on the lake and BBQ in the warm months. And the animal farm is awesome for kids and adults.

Bucket list made! Hand-feeding birds and chipmunks, and seeing sandhill cranes up close was this bird nerd's dream trip! I made the 500 mile drive from Iowa and can't wait to visit again. This park is beautiful and well maintained.

Kensington is always a great stop for our son as well as the adults. We enjoy the Farm center seeing the goats playing, wild turkeys in the background. Constant wildlife to enjoy and many areas to check out, even the Nature center and it'd surrounding area always has multiple trails, viewing areas, wild animals almost at your fingertips.
Jon C — Google review
Lots to do! I enjoy the nature walking trails, the hilly 8 mile bicycle loop, renting kayaks, and going to the beach.
I highly recommend doing the ferry boat tour of the lake, located next to the kayak rental. You will likely see bald eagles on this tour - I did. I also like the nature center.
A great place for a beach day or a picnic.
$10 entry. Lots of parking and restrooms in the park.

Whether you're into hiking, jogging, running, or cycling, there are trails and paths to suit your preference. The park's numerous serene lakes offer opportunities for various water sports, making it a haven for water enthusiasts.
For golf enthusiasts like me, there's a golf course within the park, providing a lovely way to combine nature and your favorite sport. Moreover, the park boasts several challenging disc golf courses, adding a fun twist to your outdoor adventures.
But the real charm of Kensington Metro Park lies in its tranquility. You can simply relax and soak in the beauty of nature. Birdwatchers will have a field day spotting various avian species that call the park home.
For those who appreciate a good barbecue, the park provides designated areas for grilling. You can easily find a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic with family and friends.
One practical convenience is the availability of ample parking, especially near the beaches. Parking hassles are the last thing you'll encounter here.

Retail mainstay stocking a huge inventory of hunting, fishing & camping supplies, plus boats & ATVs.
Absolutely huge store with everything you could want when exploring the outdoors. The prices seem reasonable and you can find discounted items inside. Aside from all the items for sale there is a mini-mountain in the center of the store decorated with animals and a waterfall. Another big attraction is the giant statue out front of two bears fighting.

Awesome sporting goods store and far better than Bass Pro Shop! So much to see and do in including an aquarium and animal exabits. Prices are in line with this type of store-expensive. Bit then I was only there to browse, there wasn’t anything I needed or wanted.

Drove here to shop for kayak accessories. Prices here are expensive but there is a much better selection than other sporting goods stores like Dick’s or Dunhams. If you’re looking for something outdoor related you’ll most likely find it here. There is also a small aquarium inside and a few animal displays. Great place to stop in Dundee if you love the great outdoors.

My european brain cannot comprehend the sheer size of this store. It has everything you could need for any sort of outdoor activities, I'm pretty sure. The animal displays and aquariums were the coolest.

This is truly a gem of South East Michigan. The store is clean and almost over staffed. Help is so easy to find and you're treated as a person not a sale. Each department is staffed by knowledgeable employees. And for low budget folk like myself it's a pleasure to bring my child and experience all the visuals without the pressure to always spend money. I can't speak highly enough of this facility.

Fun place to shop at anytime we are in the area! The staff was kind and helpful and the store was clean. My kids loved that they were able to see Santa so early, play the games they had set up, and the cocoa and cookies were the icing on the cake!

Best mega store full of fishing supplies hunting supplies sporting goods of all kinds firearms and ammo.
Not to mention bring your kids they have a free walk thru aquarium and a mountain of stuffed animals from hunts I'm assuming the Cabela's founder got but I'm not positive about the last part. Either way fun to go to you can buy anything you need supply wise and there's not many places like it so I highly recommend it!!!
Unpretentious rooms inside a lively water park offering a restaurant/bar, a pool & a gym.
I went just over this week for one day. The staff was very friendly, made sure that everything was just right and answered all of my questions that I had. For the ticket price, it was amazing. For less then $100, I was able to take my family on a nice day trip to the water park. As for the actual water park, it was very clean, and very kid friendly. For older kids, it might get boring a little quick, but it was great for my family. I loved our time that we spent there and I highly recommend!

Family came expecting to have a nice fun day to celebrate my niece birthday at the water park only to be told it is not open. When booking the room this was not mentioned. We didn’t drive an hour away to only get to enjoy the hotel pool 😡. After seeing other reviews it seems they would have done something to inform people when booking the water park section is temporarily closed, but no they let people book anyway. I swear I understand they need to keep making money but this is just misleading and poor management on their part. I hope they update the website asap. Otherwise, they will continue to get poor reviews.
At first glance the room seemed fine. But unfortunately after taking a better look I found it to be not as clean as one would expect, the remote control was sticky, there was dust all around, the ice bucket was covered in it, the refrigerator and microwave were both dirty on the outside. I want to know who thought this room met quality standards.

We went to Splash Universe the weekend of April 6-7, 2024! I loved learning about the history of the hotel and waterpark on our stay, but basically the water park resort is under new management because the old owners just walked out during the COVID pandemic and left the place to rot! The new owners and staff that were there when we stayed were very respectful and helpful! Very friendly! To stay there for a night for 5 was $495! It’s a little bit pricey since the Waterpark was the only attraction open and the arcade and restaurant are still under construction! The person I talked to at the front desk said they are hoping to have the arcade and restaurant open May 1st! The hotel was very nice; there were vending machines, and atms around the hotel and then there was also a pool and an exercise room; the waterpark has a lazy river, slides, toddler area, and a hot tub (adult supervision is required for people under 18)! We got a nice room that had a pull out couch, recliner, table and chairs, bunk beds, bed, 2 cable tvs, microwave, and refrigerator! The hotel does have internet but there was no breakfast during our stay! We also needed a crib for an 8th month old and the front desk were nice to give us one! I did end up slipping and falling in the waterpark area and hurting my knee and toe but I’m fine now! Overall, we had a nice time, even though it was a bit pricy we still enjoyed our stay! I do agree they should give a discount or something though since everything was not all open during our stay!

Pretty great!! Their water park is super fun, and everyone is nice! Food isn’t that great, but there are a lot of restaurants around. The water slide are great, and the lazy river is so fun!! I came here with some younger cousins (ages 1-4) and they had a blast! There’s something there for everyone!! Great place, and super fun for a get away weekend, or party with friends!

The person that works your social media should be fired.
I won’t visit again, due to the rudeness from your social media employer.
The rooms are dirty, & chlorine makes you choke, and burn your skin.
Was willing to give this place another chance, when it re-opens. But, not after the rude encounters from your social media influencer. They’ve influenced myself, entire family, and others from ever giving you another chance.

I wish I could leave NO STARS!!!!! I booked the presidential suite for 3nights and when we checked in the water park was closed the arcade was closed. The room was decent, but had an odd step up to the jacuzzi area and when my son stepped down he tripped and split his lip!!! The manager was told, he didn’t do anything he didn’t offer to do anything nor did he offer his apology. My son is 2! When I tried changing rooms and they weren’t going to work for my son and I, he asked for a refund and was told NO! I said excuse me but I haven’t even slept here and in no way am I checking out without a refund when I spent 665$!!! He got loud with me I said excuse me lower your voice I have not raised my voice to you sir don’t do that. He finally said fine take your refund and GET OUT!! He snatched the keys from me and pointed at the door!! I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK!!!!! Very Very Very rude and unprofessional

Our room appeared clean, but there was a very strong smell of mint when we arrived, which dissipated through the night to combine with the equally strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. We checked out before sunrise. Probably won't stay again, at least until they can deodorize instead of trying to cover up strong odors.

Our recent visit to Splash Universe was an absolute blast, and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our next trip back! The first thing that struck us was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that every guest had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel like valued guests. The staff's exceptional knowledge of the water park and its amenities was truly impressive as the water park wasn’t open our excitement built for the opening. They went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, provide helpful recommendations, and assist us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Thank you Splash Universe we will be back :)

There’s nothing special about the place and no reason to stay here. Splash park in closed. There’s a pool, but no hot tub or sauna. Although the staff was friendly, the rooms clean, beds good there was no good reason to stay there. Dundee must have had grand illusions of tourists coming to see Cabela’s, as there are many hotels and restaurants in that area. Also, not enough plugs for electronics, which everyone has these days. EDIT: just downgraded to two stars due to them charging me twice, even though I told them I booked ahead and already paid. I called and they said it would drop off when the charge went through. It already went through, the charges are still there twice and I’m going to call them again. If I was tight for money this would have really messed things up. Not happy. Not worth the money I paid.

Booked a room here while on a long road trip with our son- he was really excited to check out the water park after being in a car all day… but when we got there the water park and arcade were all shut down. When we made our reservation on their website, they did not say that the resort was closed down for construction except for some tiny print at the bottom of your booking confirmation in with the policies. This place is completely dishonest with how they are currently advertising their property- and at the expense of kids feelings. They wouldn’t even upgrade the room or give any solutions besides refunding a measly $20 for the inconvenience. They even admitted that this was an ongoing issue that it wasn’t being communicated on their website. Thanks for false advertisement and letting kids down just to trick people into booking at your hotel.
They also did not have continental breakfast because “the guy didn’t show up” - they didn’t even try making anything better!

This place needs to SERIOUSLY BE INVESTIGATED! I was ripped off back the winter before last for a room I booked thru this booking site for the BRAND NEWLY RENOVATED WATERPARK AND RESORT... a few days after I paid for this booking.... I called the actual hotel to get further details about the waterpark and the birthday club.. and arcade to ask how it all worked and was told that the waterpark would be completed by the end of November (this was at the beginning of November and the reservations were for Dec. 31! So, I continued to watch and monitor the website and fb page, as well as continually called, left messages , voicemails and was ignored. I contacted the scamming booking site who should be held just as much accountable for even allowing this place to use their platform to rip people off! And I was never able to ever actually reach anyone at the hotel waterpark its self... EVER . And the booking site who very clearly allowed for false advertising would not cancel the reservation or refund my money .... and come to find out the room I booked wasnt even for a newly revovated room even... jusy another 1 star hotel, poorly managed by a bunch of scamming thieves! I reported this Paypal who made me go thru months of back and forth with the dispute resolution who inevitably refused to refund me or even doing anything about making the "resprt and waterpark owner offering to allow me to reschdule booking for whemever they did jave the water park completed .. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED ANYWAYS...AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! PEOPLE CONTINUE TO BE SCAMMED AND RIPPED OFF AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

Went to splash universe over the weekend got there the Waterpark was closed for reconstruction. Didn't mention anything about that on the website while I was booking the room otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. Also my lock mechanism on my door was broke the entire time so that was super annoying. Employees did not offer to compensate me in anyway for either of the problems... will not be returning.
If you come with the expectation that this is just a fountain you'll like it. Don't get the impression this is really a park. This season they have dressed up hey dolls...and if you're looking for Waldo. Don't worry you can find him there.

Just a great place to sit on a pleasant day and enjoy the fountain. Lots of weekends with activities for the kids to enjoy in Plymouth downtown. Some really nice restaurants in the vicinity. The only downside of enjoying Kellogg Park is the periodic difficulty finding parking. Generally not an issue, but during certain weekends, $10 event parking is robbery. We are a group of 50-70 y/o women and we had a blast!!! My only comment is that when I asked how challenging the blue or green were, the young gentleman made it sound no big deal. We went on a blue as our last run and it was EXTREMELY challenging. It had a very large drop at the end and this was not explained to us very well. Make sure you are a little fit when you go because it is going to be rough. I also had a young boy of about eight following me on a fairly difficult course. He did not have a parent with him, and he was very afraid. Might not of been something for him to do by himself. Definitely bring water and just keep it in a cooler for when you take a break! All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you’re looking for a fun adventure for all ages. This is the place to go. I really enjoyed the zip lining and all the obstacle courses. They have easy to hard courses. It’s a 15-20 min instruction class before you get started and the instructor let you practice before letting you start. Get there 15/20 min before your start time. That is enough time to check in, use the restroom (port-a potty), walk to the park and get your harness on. The staff is extremely nice, encouraging and helpful. I went on the weekend and it was not over crowded. You must have gloves (workout gloves). If you don’t have any or you forget them. They sale them in the store for $6. I suggest not wearing purses and jackets. A Fanny pack is best. Also you will not want to walk around with a water bottle. It’s impossible to carry something in your hand and do the obstacle courses. They do have water spout stations around the park. Once you’re on an obstacle course you can’t come down until you’ve finished all of them in the course. The prices on the weekend is about $63 for an adult. You get 3 hours in the park. All courses include zip lining. They have a new course that include zip lining only. Making reservations online is easy and you can sign your waivers online as well. Check in is super fast and easy. They also sale snacks in the store. It is a lot of benches, picnic tables and chairs around the park to sit at.

This was a great family adventure and I highly recommend to families that are outdoorsy. The adults even had a great time and the staff is outstanding. This is a must do in West Bloomfield. Plan accordingly and take drinks and snacks. Also I suggest purchasing better climbing gloves than the ones sold at the park. They are thin and not very padded for gripping. Other than that an awesome family outing!!!!

Great recreation! The grounds are kept very well. They even spray paint raised tree roots on the ground so they are easier to see. On glow nights, the glow sticks are included in your ticket price. The lockers are free. Jet's Pizza delivers here and there are picnic tables to eat. There are also chairs conveniently located to take a break and watch others climb. The staff is the real gem here. They genuinely care about safety and fun. This is very physical and upper body strength is absolutely needed especially for some of the green, all the blue, and black routes.

We had a great time here. The different levels go by age. I had a 12, 13, and 14 year old. My 12/13 year Olds could go up to the blue level, and my 14 year old could do up to the single diamond level. Then, they can do all levels below that as well. It was a little chilly still, and the leaves have not come back yet, so if it's raining, I wouldn't book yet. But they had excellent staff who did a fun and thorough job at training them to do the course. For safety, they are always connected to the lines on the tree tops. So even if they slipped, the special designed ropes will never both unlock at the same time, which put me at ease because my kids are accident prone, lol. There is a little snack shop with drinks and candy/nuts. There is plenty of seating in the center or benches along the paths if you want to walk on the ground under them. They do not charge for the spectators on the ground. The price of the ticket gives them 3 hours, and once they've gone once they can test out of the training for the next visit. It took my kids about 45 minutes on their hardest course the first time, but after that, they were running through them. It does require some upper/lower body strength. This was a fun experience that we will definitely return.

I stumbled onto TreeRunner Adventure Park while playing at the playground next door. Was blown away by the facilities. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful and showed my <5 year old the ropes. Highly recommend for all ages, especially the younger ones as this activity is a huge confidence builder.

Numerous climbing and ziplining courses of varying strategies for ages 6 and up. Bring your water bottle and snacks to save money. Staff is outstanding in knowledge and skills of the park. Very professional and attentive. Well worth your money and enjoy the experience of this challenging park!

My family (party of 18) and I had by far the best experience we've shared on a large group outing. TREE RUNNER- West Bloomfield, Michigan is exciting, beautiful and a great way to get some fresh air/exercise. Everything from the facility, cost, hours & especially the staff to the action of zipping past trees, over buildings and the guest below was simply PERFECT. I wouldn't change a single thing about TREE RUNNER. So if you are planning a weekend trip before the kids head back ro school? Looking for a new and exciting place to take a date? Want to get away from the city but not leave the city? Head directly to TreeRunner...you won't be dissapointed.

The new playground is spectacular! Too bad these playgrounds weren't around in the 90's ..
Anyway, my family enjoyed the afternoon/evening playing and hiking on the trails.
The water park looks fun too - I'll have to update my review later in the summer when we check it out.

Nice place for a hike. I did the Woods Creek rustic trail, which was easy and indeed fairly rustic compared to other trails in the area. It's all dirt, mud, and roots, so wear some decent footwear.

Wow, such a great playground. So many things to do for kids of all ages. They have an area for smaller kids and one for brighter kids. They also have adaptive (handicap) swings! Basketball courts and tennis/pickle ball courts as well. Great paths and cement for roller blading, biking and walking. They have picnic tables and a few charcoal grills close to the park for family cookouts.

Love coming here for walks throughout the 4 seasons in Michigan. Dexter is a quiet town and the staff are always welcoming. There’s a bunny in the park office named Doc now, too. Go say hi to him and pickup a map, or next year’s Park passes!

A very inviting and diverse park for activities. When the group camp ground was flooded last weekend the rangers quickly moved us to the a separate area of the family campgrounds.

Clean, no shortage of restrooms, and nice playgrounds for the kids and beautiful trails in the surrounding forest. But the best part of this Park is how great it is for fishermen, boasting pike, largemouth, smallmouth, walleye and all kinds of panfish both in the main river and all the creeks and ponds surrounding it

Really nice metro park. It's really a hidden gem. Great campground areas, lots of hiking and biking trails, picnic areas galore. Every place is scenic with all of the trees and tucked-away rest areas to take in all of the outstanding views. The park and grounds are clean and very well-kept. It's a nice place to take the family for a picnic and a hike l

My go too for camping. It's so clean and nice. But, when I went on one holiday, there was dog poop all over. I had to get it up. I called and complained about it and they were very apologetic and compensated me for it. I was also out there on another holiday weekend and let me tell you. There was a group of ghetto people who stayed up all night. Kids running wild, all through our campgrounds, talking and laughing loudly. No parent supervision. Running in and out of the bathrooms. Boys in the girls restrooms. There needs to be security out enforcing the quiet time from 10-7 a few times a night. It was ridiculous. But, besides that, this is my favorite place to camp. Love the fact that they have the fire pits and picnic tables for you to enjoy too.

Very Beautiful environment! Some of the hills were hard to climb, so make sure you have the right pair of shoes or you might fall into the lake.

The playground here is amazing, it was clean and well maintained. This play ground is wheel chair friendly and it had a soft rubber padding floor, it was amazing because I didn't have to worry about my little kiddos! Unfortunately, you do have to pay a fee to enter the park. This Metro park does also have a water park! Turtle Cove was also an amazing experience!
This park does have an entry fee* be sure to check the website! I suggest if you live locally buying a annual pass!

Clean, lots of space to explore in many different ways for all ages and abilities. We appreciate the rubber engineered flooring making falls less painful. Go early in the morning when it's less crowded. Bathrooms are across a large parking lot, very clean. Plentiful parking.
The Toledo Museum of Art is an art museum located in the historic Old West End district of central Toledo, Ohio. The museum's collection features a wide range of art from classical to contemporary, and includes works by some of history's most well-known painters. The Glass Pavilion is one of the most popular attractions at the museum, and its curved glass walls are simply stunning.
It was a bigger museum than I expected and curated well. The inside layout is a bit confusing but you can see a lot. You get a lot of hope for good items when you first walk in and see the Van Gogh and Monet right away, but that was about it. There was a small Rodin Thinker as well. All in all, a good time, and worth a visit if you are in the area

Wow this place is amazing! We traveled from Columbus to check out the museum and we weren’t disappointed. We have a membership with Columbus Museum of Art and through the reciprocal agreement program this was all free for us. The museum itself is free but normally you would pay $10 for parking. But since we have the membership it was free. They had works of art from all eras and I was happy to see a Renoir as those are my favorites! We spent 3 hours and didn’t get to see everything before they closed. We will be back! They have a little coffee shop with food (we didn’t go in so I can’t review that piece). They have bathrooms up and downstairs. Plenty of parking and everything is accessible. Check this out, you won’t be disappointed!

I am so grateful to have such an incredible art museum in our city. My son & I frequent this place. We always enjoy ourselves. If and when he does get antsy about not interacting with the art, we just head downstairs where he can touch EVERYTHING! My little dude has been Culturally educated and inspired with the opportunities we've had to visit this place from such an early age. Thanks Toledo!🖼🎨🌃🎵😎

This beautiful complex is wonderfully curated which makes it easy and pleasant to experience the beauty presented. There is variety, history and culture.
I discovered a Dutch painting of people enjoying themselves on the frozen canal. And there were men playing golf! Yes, in 17th C.! The golf clubs were similar to those used in the 1920s.
There are many buildings on the acreage of the campus. One is the "glass" museum which also houses a glassblowing demonstration and the Impressionist hall.
There is paid parking, but free entry. But be careful: if you switch parking lots to go to other buildings, it'll cost another $10. Better to walk across the street.
The staff are pleasant and personable, and contributed to a marvelous experiences we had.

The Toledo Museum of Art has so much to offer for engagement and wedding photo locations! I much prefer the outdoor locations so I do not impede on museum-goer experiences, but they are so good you won't even miss the indoor spots! There are marble columns for some classic and regal-looking photos and then there are pathways surrounded by unique art. My favorite spot is this cool metal building/wall. Rainy or bad weather? The Glass Pavilion is a very cool spot right across the street.

First time visiting the museum. The staff was professional and friendly and the museum exhibits were awesome. Spent 3 hours and ran out of time. Looking forward to going back. The Caravaggio exhibit was special and I learned a lot about the artist, his life, and style. I have a new appreciation for art in the little time I spent there.

The ceilings are high, the exhibit is large and spacious and beautifully set up. There are multiple items to review in one space. The art is interesting and there is so much to read. You can literally spend 5 hours at this museum just reading everything and learning. It's free with $10 parking. There are multiple places to sit in every room, the staff is friendly, and the environment is quiet and extremely well kept up. Love it here.

The Imagination Station is a hands-on, educational children's science museum with permanent exhibits that offers programs and summer camps. It is located in the center of Toledo and contains over 300 interactive exhibits on a range of topics including agriculture, engineering, solar energy, sound waves, weather systems. A popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, it is one of the most acclaimed museums in the city.
We had so much fun when we took our kids and nephew to Imagination Station. I am so pleased that they have the option to purchase a membership because that is exactly what we are going to do. They even had a quiet room in the children’a area if anyone was overstimulated and needed a break. There is food, beverages, a gift shop, indoor & outdoor activities so much to do indoors and even a beautiful view from the inside out. Fun for all ages! :)

The former COSI, with a new name, same great experience.
Super fun experience. Lots of exhibits. Clean. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy on the street and the garage across the street. Not overly crowded on a Sunday.
Only improvements I’d suggest: military vet discounts and some attention to restroom cleanliness.
Great way to spend a day. The fun exhibits could easily occupy kids 2-teen for 3-5 hours. The motion simulator is a nice addition. Don’t skip the outdoor sound exhibits.

Lots of fun and science stuff to do with the kids. Can easily spend 3-4 hours depending on the experiences you want to cover. Wasn’t crowded even though we visited on a weekend. Tickets can be purchased at front desk. Parking is a challenge as they don’t have it on spot, though lot many parking structures are open nearby.

I went here for the sole purpose of my niece having a good time. I think I might have had more fun than she did.
🤣 Seriously, it was a great experience.
We went on a Saturday, so it was a little more crowded than normal. But, on the bright side of that, Saturdays are the cheaper days to go for Lucas county residents. I also suggest that you park in the parking garage. It's decently priced.
There's a lot of things to see and do both inside and outside. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the gist.

It was fun for the kids and for us we paid $ 54 for myself and my husband and boys 6 and 8!! My daughter was free. It would have been way better if most things weren’t broken. We did have a nice time I just don’t know if we would ever get a membership. My kids loved it.

We had a great time with a dozen of our Girl Scouts. I do suggest calling ahead for a big group. There were some large group "protocols" we weren't aware of until we got there. Also purchase your "Simulator Ride" tokens on your way in the entry desk DON'T WAIT until the ride!

It was my first time visiting with my son. He is 8 years old and loved it. There was more than enough things to keep him entertained the entire day. I wasn't sure if it was meant for younger kids only. The admission prices were pretty reasonable, and they did offer a military discount, which really helped me out. It's worth it to get the whole package with the movie included. My son had never seen anything in 3D before so he loved the 3D dinosaurs. They had very friendly staff all around to guide and interact with the kids. There is a little cafe in there in case you get hungry and need a break. The only disappointment was that we never got to check out the simulator because the line was Neverending during the time we were waiting. But overall, I would definitely take my son back next time I'm in the area.

The new dinosuar exhibit is fun, and the "regular" displays are great as always. The little kid area is fun, but watch out or they'll get wet quickly. My kids all love the illusions area and the demonstrations.

I haven’t visited this place in many years. There were a lot of cool stations that engage the kiddos in learning about the world around them ans how things work. My only recommendation would be to pack some snacks. The food choices were slim. Not sure if the pandemic and supply shortages is to blame for that or not?

Great time with my granddaughters, age 8 and 10. They loved the entire visit and learned many new things today. Great summer "field trip". They didn't think they would enjoy themselves there at all. We spent 3.5 hours there learning and having fun!

This place was incredible. My 4 year old and 2 year old had a blast! They had things to keep both of them busy. They have a toddler area where they can play hospital, grocery store, and firetruck. They have a huge water table to play in and a spot for babies to sit and play in the water. I was blown away at everything they had to offer. Plenty of room to sit and eat. We packed lunches but they had food to purchase as well.

So much fun for everyone. Staff is insanely nice. The entire place was very clean, even the bathrooms. Snacks and drinks are on the expensive side. We went on a weekday. It was busy but not crowded. My son was able to have access to all the attractions. The whole family had fun.

When I tell my kids we are going to the imagination station, I may as well have told them we're celebrating Christmas early. Their favorite attraction in the museum is the sideways house, and as toddlers they could have spent the entire visit in the Kids Zone. My only complaint is that there seems to be a field trip visiting every time we come and the place is packed with kids and it makes it a little harder to enjoy yourself.

I am a 19 year old and I went with my friends who are all over 18 and it was super fun and interesting. We spent about 4 hours here. This museum is honestly one of the most fun I've been to. It's good for little kids (they have a toddler/baby section), kids, and adults. The movies are also quite good.

We come here about once a month. The kids love it. As far as educating my five year olds, I'd say it's mild. The live shows are the best for that and those are fantastic. But for providing reasonably priced play that is certainly positive and MAY be educational, it's the best.
As a hint, Lucas County residents get in free on Saturdays.

We love this Toledo attraction! A fun way to spend a day or treat your family to a season pass for an outing option. I love that there is something for all ages, babies on up! We like to get food somewhere downtown before or after and on the nice days go walk the river front. Street parking is awesome when you can find it, if not using the garage. Make sure to make time for the plane simulator.
This museum explores the history of the five Great Lakes and features a retired ore freighter. It is located on the east bank of the Maumee River in downtown Toledo.
This is a excellent museum with great information and displays. For someone visiting the Great Lakes for the first time, this was a great primer and perfect for a few hours. The models of historical ships, boiler steam propulsion and Coast Guard history were all highlights.

Excellent museum for adults and kids alike. The ship was so fun for walk around on and IN. You can actually go inside the cargo hold!

I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life and I knew very little about our Great Lakes! What a fabulous museum! The history and displays and everything about this place is incredible! We didn’t plan properly and couldn’t go on the freighter or tug boat, so that just gives us just cause to go back!!! Definitely worth the reasonable ticket price! Fun little souvenir area as well. Very clean museum, lots of parking, bathrooms very well maintained and the grounds are very well kept! Fun for all ages!!

Didn't think this would be interesting, but went with a friend who wanted to go. Jack, the volunteer who showed us around the freighter, made the trip extremely informative. He had worked on the tug boat that is also on display, and had an infinite number of personal and anecdotal stories about the freighter, tug boat, and Great Lakes shipping history. Worth calling ahead to see which day he is volunteering!

Great find on a road trip. The ship was very cool to visit with my kids (4, 6, 9); however was quite nerve wracking with the 4 year old ensuring he didn’t fall through railings on top or on the steep stairs. There is a self guided tour app that was too slow for going with kids but we enjoyed the signs along the way. The ship itself took us about 45 minutes so we didn’t have time to do the tug boat because new tours stop an hour before closing and we started the ship at 3:45. There is also a lot to look at in the museum. And hour and a half wasn’t enough time!

The museum is full of interesting facts about all the Great Lake. Artifacts and story boards of numerous ships and shipwrecks are a look back in time. We liked the interactive displays, which included controlling a video drive on the Edmond Fitzgerald. It takes an hour or two to checkout all the displays. The outdoor ship tours are seasonal. We visited in December but will plan a return trip to check out the freighter.

Really neat place! This is something in my own hometown that I had never experienced before. Such a unique spot to be taken. The museum had lots of interesting bits of history and getting to go on the actual boats was so awesome. Probably not a place for huge parties or small kids because it’s a lot of historical things and small areas inside. The stairs are also a little bit difficult to maneuver but seeing how old everything is I definitely understand why. Everyone should visit here at least once in their life.

I enjoyed it. The stories this museum presents are fascinating and special history to the local area. I love that they support and exist to restore the great lakes and tell our areas history from Indian and native tribes to colonial days up to modern history. It's wild how deadly the great lakes were and i never heard of all the crashed boats until this museum. Touring the boats they have on site is also neat. My cons are I wish it was much bigger (I think they're expanding a little) and the gift shop wasn't so expensive.

Wonderful museum! The highlight being the freighter docked alongside that is included with museum admission. Such a treat to wander all over the ship! The best experience was encountering former ship pilots who offered personal stories and insights on what it was like to work on these Great Lakes freighters!

We visited this museum for the second time and it was just as good as the first. Good amount of history about the great lakes. Lots of nice artifacts to look at. There are 2 ships that you can tour docked along the Maumee River next to the museum. A freighter and a tug. Both are interesting. Staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. If you enjoy history especially of the lakes then you should enjoy. Highly recommend 👍

National park preserving the historical site of pivotal battles during the War of 1812.
River Raisin is for those who love history. This is the site of the worst American defeat in the War of 1812, and of the bloodiest battle in Michigan's history. There is a new visitor center just west of the battlefield with new exhibits being built. If you live in southeastern Michigan and you have kids, this would be a great place to take them to get to know the National Park Service. The visitor center has passport books, patches, books about national parks, nature guides, and everything else needed to generate a child's enthusiasm for our nation's protected lands.
James Waldecker — Google review
The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.

I am really looking forward to the things to come at this National Battlefield Historic Site. The Park Ranger was extremely informative and did a great job with the kids and their Junior Ranger Program. The movie was worth the 10.00 for 4+ in a family. We enjoyed learning about the War of 1812. Beautiful diorama. When the village is complete it will be amazing.

One of the newest parks in the Park Service. They are working hard to create a state of the art facility. When the educational center is up and running it will be a fantastic field trip for schools and other groups looking for a hands on experience.

In my quest to visit all the National Parks (historic sites, battlefields, trails, and more) I happened upon River Raisin on a quite rainy and chilly afternoon. While being the only visitor when I arrived, the park staff were very helpful and willing to ensure my experience was a great one. They cued up a video (another group wandered in by this time) to cover the history.
Afterward, I still felt like exploring the area, despite the rain, and I was given a few paper maps that I supplemented with the free NPS app (which I highly recommend you download). This pointed me towards some cool historic sites also maintained by the NPS and offered me a glimpse into the past of the historical events that took place in this area.

The park stretches out along the Raisin River. They have an older closed visitor center and a new one not far away. Great place to reflect and relax. Some picnic tables and some really nice benches to rest on

We were really impressed by the set up. Very informative, they were just setting up the new exhibit when we were there, but it was really nice so far, so many interactive things for all ages, my 20 year old son just loved it. The people there were great too, answering questions and explaining displays. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices, a few snacks and drinks too...and a squished penny machine!! I collect, so super excited about that. Clean bathrooms. We happened to go when they were having demonstrations outside with people dressed in period clothes and very friendly and informative. They had axe throwing, my son did much better than myself. All free too! Large parking lot. easy to find right off the highway. Our family had a great time and will definitely be back for the reenactments and to walk the battlefield, I understand there is a marked trail with information plaques but we didn't get a chance to check that out yet.

Really nice national park battlefield with a great trail to walk around on. I recommend going down the main Street stretch of Monroe to get the whole tour of the battle of River Raisin! Staff was helpful and friendly as well!

Nice museum at the visiter center with film. A lot of plaques describing a battle of the war of 1812. Describes a massacre of the Indians libing in the area.
John Veazey — Google review
Wasn't sure what to expect. Knew a little about the battle and War of 1812 before we went but learned a lot while there. This battle played a large role in the war and the United States native American policies for years to come. It's extremely interesting. The free movie explains the battle and its aftermath. I say free because you used to have to pay, but now it is being funded by the Oklahoma Wyandotte. Museum is well put together with many interactive displays and many more to come. Definately worth a visit. Besides the museum, you can also walk the grounds where the battle toook place and read several markers explains what happened. Will go back, hopefully, in January or February when the reenactment takes place.

They've done an amazing job with this place - I haven't been in a LONG time, not since a school field trip maybe 20 years ago. The new visitor center is stunning and the movie that they show about the history of the site and the area is INCREDIBLE. The staff were all super friendly and fun to talk to.

This is a small but interesting stop on the NPS book. They have clean restrooms and are even dog friendly.
Not far off the interstate so I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is a sprawling space dedicated to showcasing American life and ideas. The living history exhibition hall boasts 18 intelligent touch screens and a gigantic assortment of exercises and games, while the historical centre exists in a few sections. The first includes the Museum of American Innovation, which showcases relics from the transport industry that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat for. The museum is worth the visit for any youngster looking to learn about American history and famous figures from across the spectrum.
All of the staff was amazing! Each one spoke to you every time, acknowledged you when you entered, said bye when you left, always asked if you needed any assistance or had any questions. So so helpful and I'm so very appreciative, they were all wonderful! My son and I can't wait to go again! So many gift shops lol. Need at least 2+ hours to see it all, but it's worth it. So much history, some areas are like stepping back in time, it's so cool.

Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between.
The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item.
There's a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You'll need them to get back into the museum.
The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

This is a great place to visit! There is so much to do and see one day is certainly not enough.
If you are in the area I would certainly recommend stopping by. If you want to see it all without any rush I would recommend at least 1.5 days (assuming you take one full day). Make sure to look into the membership if visiting more than one day!
The museum is mostly wheelchair accessible and they also rent wheelchairs if needed.

The Henry Ford museum is definitely my favourite museum in Detroit. It displays a lot of history from the very beginning of motoring up to the present time. My favourite displays would be the United States presidents cars. Followed closely by the 1941 Allegheny Locomotive one of the largest steam powered Locomotives ever built. Very interesting to see also Henry Ford's kitchen bench engine, that's how it all started. There is so much to see in this museum not just cars. You can spend a whole day here enjoying yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

My visit to the museum was a great experience. The highlight for me was the impressive selection of cars, including those used by presidents. The exhibit showcased a diverse range of vehicles, adding a unique and fascinating dimension to the visit. The overall atmosphere and variety made it a memorable exploration into history culture.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

So much to do, so much to see. I spent about 3 hours here and still could go for many more.
It's not just about Ford history itself but about the broader history of the world.
A great variety of cars on display and other exhibits are worth the time and money to spend on it.
I also took a short 30 minute free tour and it was great.

This was perhaps the best place that I've visited in a long time!! It was like a kid let loose in a candy shop. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The history behind every piece in that museum is insane, the lady at the front greeting once we entered the actual part of the museum was really really good. She gave a brief on what to expect and where. This place will take a full day to tour if you want to look and read everything. Maybe two. I would definitely visit this place again. Definitely recommended for every single age.

Incredible the history of Ford! It's a huge museum with lots to see. We didn't see everything as I think it would take a few days.
The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see.
I'm not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years.
Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed.
The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though.
The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!

You can easily spend the whole day here if you’re into museums. There are two nice cafes inside so you can take a break if you want. The exhibits are well maintained, but the entry fee was expensive compared to other places similar to this museum.
If you want a tour of the factory, you will need to go there on a working day.

Not a car museum, but there are cars. This is an American History museum primarily... more Smithsonian-like. I have to say it's one of the best museums I've ever visited. It really is amazing what our forefathers were able to accomplish to build America. Highly recommended. Kid friendly!

Visitor from the UK wowed by this magnificent mueseum. Great variety of exhibits, but one of my favourite sections was the history of cars of all type . There was food and drink available at a couple of locations within the museum. I shared a couple pictures of my highlights of this trip. It's a pretty nice place to visit. They are lacking some restaurants or places to get some real food. I visited here about 50 years ago when I was a kid and we went to a nice Italian restaurant and had spaghetti dinner. That appears to be missing in the museum now. Their displays are awesome with a lot of history of our area and Past Times. I recommend it!

This was a really awesome place to spend the day with the family. We loved looking around at all the cars, planes, and machinery this place has on display. So much to see and do while being here; especially when you get to the race cars. We all had so much fun; kids and adults alike.
I recommend buying your tickets online in advance. It was quite easy to do and saved us time once we arrived at the museum.
We will need to come back to see the rest of the things we didn't get to spend as much time with.

Kids had fun! We ran into a volunteer who was on break but very cheerful and conversational. It was cool to see the museum sections.... we were there for about 3 hours and only saw 2/3s of the exhibits (at kid speed). You could spend multiple days here. We got a tip to bring lunch, so didn't eat at any of the places there. Kids favorite things were the pit stop crew hands on activity, going inside the locomotive, and seeing the barnstormer planes. Adults found the JFK limo more significant than the littles.

So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours.
You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass !
Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoor
It is a must go stop if you are in town

An excellent museum with interesting exhibits for everyone. Far from "just a car museum," it has exhibits focused on aviation, the industrial revolution, the civil rights movement, trains, and lots more.
My only regret is that we only scheduled one day to visit the museum and the Greenfield Village, whereas two days would have been the minimum in retrospect.
Zac Clark — Google review
Beautiful time had by all. Incredible collection allowing a walk through history. The staff had interesting information and stories to share about the period and life of those during that time. We have a membership. I would suggest a day for Henry Ford Museum and a day for Greenfield Village if you're not from this area. After that, you can choose if you need additional visits.
David Torok — Google review
This is certainly the go-to museum in Detroit. It showcases American innovations and progress over the century, not just car-focused. You could spend at least 2 hours in the museum alone. There’s a rotating exhibit space that brings new things in to keep it fresh for returning visitors.
There’s plenty to see and do, with sections on agriculture, furniture and housing, car racing, automobile production, aviation, locomotives, and more.
The village portion of the grounds can add about 5 hours to your visit so come prepared!

☆○°•The place was very amazing, I was walking in, not expecting much of it, but as I entered, I saw a lot of Presidents cars and the thought of them actually being in there was very cool! There was also a really cute miniature car set displayed, and a place where you could play a car simulator! It was a very pleasant experience :> Next time I visit MI, I will visit the factory too!○☆•°

Spectacular! You need a full day to enjoy and bring your jacket after Oct 31st!! The train usually closes at the end of October, but the Model T drive around the village is worth the money. They also have a bus, that's a great way to hear about the village. They have a horse-drawn carriage as well!!
The factory tour is fantastic, with limited photography options, but it is well worth it.
The museum is vast, and if you live here, that year pass is the way to go! Visitors take advantage of the different passes according to ride availability. You almost can't get through the museum and village unless you plan for the whole day!! A must-see for sure!

You could literally spend days here. It’s so unique and one of a kind. I came here every weekend as a kid in the 80s and it’s fascinating to see what is still here and what has changed.
Even if you could care less about cars or trains or planes this place positions them in a way that integrates them into the progression of life in America and the impact that cars (good and bad) and the social and historical context surrounding that impact.
I took my teenagers and thought they would be begging to leave but I had to drag them out at closing time.
Just go.

This was the first time my 4 year old son was at the Ford Museum. He loves anything trains and they have the biggest ones in the world. Not my words but my sons. We also went because there was a Paw Patrol exhibit that he is very into at the moment. He had a great time exploring the activities within the area. I would say he enjoyed the time, but some of the stuff he was too young to know why it was there or the history about it.

Went to The Henry Ford Museum with my girlfriend recently. This museum is awesome! We walked through the displays for hours and enjoyed traveling back in time to see history in person. It was a fascinating visit and the exhibits are user friendly and interactive in many cases. We want to come back again and also visit Greenfield Village when it opens up in the spring! Many thanks to everyone working at The Henry Ford Museum!

Did not expect an all round museum here! I thought it was a Ford cars showcase but here is a full innovative museum containing not just fancy cars but the history and evolution of automobile! The presidential cars is surely a highlight here, but there are more to explore! Price is 30 dollars per adult and 9 for parking. Be aware the google navigation is not the most accurate location for the ticket office and entrance. Go straight to the clock tower!

What a great museum. This is my second visit. I was able to bring my wife this trip (she’s a huge history buff). This museum has something for everyone. Love the museum, have been a member for years! I particularly love the new racing exhibit with the racing simulators! Today we were there looking at it as a possible wedding venue, and I have to say the staff is absolutely top notch. Easy to work with, prompt with excellent follow up! The materials on there own were a little confusing but when they laid them out it was very easy to understand/ budget. Lovett hall was absolutely breathtaking, and is currently at the top of our list!

The wife and I had an great time during our time in the museum. A very massive museum. It would take someone at least three days if you stopped to read every placqured that would be there on every piece of equipment. Really enjoyed the history era about everyday life and the items that was used from the 1900' to 2020. The era took me back to my days of being a kid and re-visiting that era of 1980. Again its a very informative museum.

February 2024 - came here with family and friends. We had a good time with the paw patrol exhibit. A lot to see here and listen to. They have some new things since we have last visited. Race car game and they updated that area with some other things to do. Kids loved the automobile section. They added a plume market and a restaurant inside. You can buy wine from what I heard from two mom's. They have a nice gift shop and a lot of neat things to see.
The museum Greenfield Village is located in Detroit and was founded by Henry Ford. The attractions include buildings from America's history that have been relocated to the open-air museum. The land that the museum occupies is also used for forests, rivers, and pasture for horses and sheep.
Great place to spend the day. Cannot see it all in one day. One downside I would say, the trades area was not as big as I remember. Several smaller villages I know of, the have more trades. If there are multiple people entering or you know your going more than once get a membership.

If you like pioneer villages, well let me tell you, this is the Disney World of pioneer villages! It's so big, we couldn't do it all, will have to return someday. We rode the model t and carousel and train and they were so fun. Almost all the houses were staffed with knowledgeable people to explain stuff and answer questions. We had a frozen custard and it was scrumptious. Loved the crafting demonstrations. All the employees are dressed in period clothing and are so nice. Just a fantastic place. Hope to return someday.

This was a nice piece of the Henry Ford Museum/Theme Park, it is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a day outside. Teach your kids some great American history, eat ice cream and take them for a ride in a model T. Everyone was so nice and seems like a lot of the staff have a piece of history tied to this place. I would definitely recommend a visit here while in Detroit.

The coolest museum I’ve ever been to. I love the living history and the array of buildings they have to offer. I wish more artists were at work in the crafts district. But for $40 per person I wish it didn’t cost extra to ride the train. Worth the price? Yes. But wow it’s expensive. Make sure you schedule a full day for this park!
Also it’s hard to find the ticket booth. When you enter the park, go to the building on the left. They should have a sign

Really nice place to spend a day walking around during nice weather. Lots of historical buildings that are reassembled onsite brick by brick. This includes Henry Ford's childhood house, the Wright brothers' workshop, Edgar Alan Poe's house and much more. Also got to ride around in an original working well-maintained Model-T cars with a chauffeur driving around the park, which is almost 100 years old.
Really cool place to check out! The only problem may be finding parking. I'd plan on coming earlier during the day to make sure you get a spot closer to the entrance.

We have visited the village twice now and it is still amazing. Where else can you go and see the home where the Webster American Dictionary was finished, the bike shop where the first airplane was designed and built, and the laboratory where the light bulb was perfected. Greenfield Village was an amazing experience we went to Greenfield Village but also to the Henry Ford Museum I took my daughter with me who's very much into learning about history and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the exhibits in the museum where really interesting and just seeing the evolution of cars and even the art pieces it was just really a great experience. Even the area that was dealing with black history was super informative I had never seen the actual bus that Rosa Parks was arrested from (and they had that actual bus) great experience for my kids. The Greenfield Village area with people dressed in the clothes that they wore back in during those times was really cool to see the cars that they drove in we rode on the train that was powered by coal... that was a really cool experience. Seeing how certain things were made like the Pottery area or area where they made the pottery and the guide told us about how it was made and what they used to actually decorate the pottery after it's been fired and glazed. Really cool and really good information. We got to see them actually blow glass they showed the actual method in which they used to create glass sculptures and things like that. It was really hot but it was really cool to watch... great experience overall! Definitely want to come back and take nieces and nephews and my other kids with me the next time that I go.

Attended the Christmas event they offered. We stopped by the Mini Donut Truck inside the park. After consuming the mini donuts, I got the worst food poisoning I’ve probably had in my life. I’m assuming the donuts might have been undercooked, as they had a huge line and most likely wanted to get orders out quick. The village had a few Christmas attractions, but it felt like it wasn’t as eventful as the Halloween one per se. Overall, I would give them another chance to see the village but maybe avoid the mini donuts this time.

Interesting open-air history museum founded by Henry Ford with houses of famous Americans that were moved to this location. OK, that feels a little off that you take someones history and make it your own. However I really enjoyed this museum and it was really well preserved and museums inside the museums. It is really difficult to have a museum (open-air) with many houses that were actually build there.

Can't recommend this place enough. World class museum. Outdoor activities at Greenfield Village are educational and enjoyable. It's great to visit during an off time because it's not as busy, but, Saturdays in the summer have much more interaction at the park - historical baseball games, farmers working, musicians playing, etc. I'd recommend checking the calendar of events for more! Kids play area is great.
Lake Erie's only state park offers 1 mile of lakeshore with campsites plus wildlife walks & hiking.
Don't let the smoke stacks cloud your judgment of this park. It has so much to offer!
Miles of scenic trails for birdwatching, running, walking and biking. The trails I hear will be getting some much needed work to ensure a safe and smooth trek.
There are many fishing piers and access points to kayak the waters in and around the park.
For Boat Nerds, you can watch great lake freighters out on the horizon. If you're lucky, you may see them pulling into the River Raisin just south of the park.
The sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous and beautiful and the pops of color are amazing.
If I have on complaint, it's the human factor on the Beach. Please don't litter. There are many garbage receptacles. We can do better.

We stayed here in our skoolie for two weeks and it's been one of our best stays to date! First off, the beach!! You're so close and there's a private area just for the campground which was never busy and was close enough that the kids could just walk over there whenever they wanted.
There's also a trail that was really nice. Clean bathrooms and showers. Can't wait to go back here

This state campground has some full hook up sites. Campground is clean and the camp host was receptive when we told here there was standing water by our water spigot possibly indicating a leak. It’s nice to be able to explore the beach on Lake Erie but wear your shoes as there are dead fish, shells, branches, and garbage. There is a paved, 4 mile trail which circles some lagoons.

The park is spacious, plenty of area to explore. Large parking area. Plenty of bathrooms. Pavilions with picnic tables and grill areas. Large beach front, great for swimming and a peir I saw people fishing off of although it's a bit rocky on that end, much more rugged, not for small kids.
I was thrilled to find some neat fish bones, shells and beach glass and a little baby turtle!

I don't know what these negative reviews are talking about! This beach is one of the nicest public beaches on Lake Erie in this area. The beach was trash free and looked like they has just raked the sand. It does have some trees a long the north end of the beach that hAve exposed roots. Just watch were you step and you will be fine. The exposed roots are neat to see. You can get around them and enjoy the beach. The south end of the beAch area however is all sand. Easy sites to back in. Not much shade in much of the park, but ground cover helps to keep the sites private. Left 4 stars because other people just lack respect. On our last evening, we had a group set up in the site next to us with 4 vehicles who then had the audacity to set up a tent on our site. Not totally the parks fault, but rangers should have addressed the problem. However, they just drove on by.. (maybe because they didn't want to have an altercation)
