Nellie E Saloon -The Desert Bar

Bar
Quirky, rustic watering hole, built on the site of a former mining camp, open weekends Oct–Apr.
Very dusty washboard drive in... we took our Jeep. Had fun driving... all kinds of neat razors, trucks and biggies...interesting terrain too! Coming into the bar was cool. Open atmosphere under solar panels... great full bar... left bar had great food... right bar had great chili. Cool store t-shirts and other fun things. Bean was great, dancing... lots of fun to walk around outside and up the hill back behind the actual bar. 1. Be there when they open.
2. Bring cash.
3. Have fun!

What an adventure!! The road in is heavily washboarded and has some "fun" spots. Sure, you can do it in a car, but you'll wish you didn't. If you see a line behind you, please pull over so we can all pass. This place is huge with 2 bars (at least one full bar) plus 2 food stand options. We got there at noon, the parking lot was half full. Lines at every stand. Hard to find shaded seating with dogs but if it's just a few people you shouldn't have a problem! Live music is good, people were dancing! The views out here are gorgeous, the entire place is wonderful! Paid $24 for strawberry funnel cake and garlic fries. Was $7.50 for a champagne mimosa, I passed. We brought water (and you should, too!) What a party!

One of a kind place to visit. 5 mile of rough road going in and same road going out. We came prepared so it was all good. They are only open on weekends from 12p-6pm and they are closed on certain months. Food was delicious and the bar has plenty to drink. Lots of friendly people to talk to. The place is in the middle of the desert and it's very unique. You can ride your ATV around the place. They have live music which added a great atmosphere to enjoy a beer or two with your food. Highly recommended to visit.

Neat place! It is a great place to gather with friends; the road getting there is rough, depending on what you are driving. Slow & steady it takes about 30 minutes for the 5 miles. I recommend visiting at least once. We ate a hamburger 🍔, nothing fancy just meat & bun 😆 but the grilled burger had a real good flavor. People there were friendly and greeted us.
Linda NeSmith — Google review
Great place the owners are good folks too.
Great food, drinks and entertainment. Lots of fun to look at the different rides that come and visit. Killer trails in and out OR fallow the graded dirt road in out but that’s no fun
Parker AZ Off Road — Google review
What a cool place to visit! The food was great (albeit pricey), the live music was good, and the venue itself is fun, unique, and gives you plenty to see. It is a long dusty ride to get there, though, that requires all wheel drive at a minimum! I look forward to going back again next year.
William Vlach — Google review
Sooo worth the drive out here! The food was delicious and the drinks were strong and so good! The live band was amazing and there's such a fun and lively atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!!
Ashley Blair — Google review
One of the coolest bars I have been to! I would recommend riding in on a side by side if possible! Any type if vehicle can make it out to this amazing venue. Get here early and hang out. My son loved climbing the rocks! We could sit and watch him and the band at the same time! Bring cash!
TIM BOBECK — Google review
Fun trip, a must for anyone down around Parker Lake Havasu City. The road is a washboard dirt road accessible by any vehicle; cars will have a little slower drive. Great atmosphere, drinks, & friendly staff. The bar is cans & bottles, nothing is on tap. Love how rustic it is. Many places to sit so if close to the band is not your thing look around and you will find seats above or to the right of the bar. Take cash
Diane Colson-Kuntz — Google review
Very cool and quirky bar in the desert. The life band was great. We had a great time. The road is a bit rough. The issue is not, that you need a 4x4, but it has a lot of wash board. So a 4x4 is not needed, but it would be not good with a very low clearance vehicle of any kind!!!!
karoline spengler-moore — Google review
Very interesting place. 5 miles down an unpaved road. A large outside bar with a band.
LINDA JENKINSON (Jersey Devil) — Google review
It was definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to get there. Next time we will get there earlier and camp out overnight to get two days worth. The food was decent and the band was great. It was a perfect, beautiful sunny day. If you’re in the area and don’t mind going off-road a bit, definitely check this place out. It’s so unique and really cool.

What a cool and unexpected experience! The view is insane! And the journey there is an experience in itself.I am looking forward to returning! This is a MUST Try! I have a challenge for all of you. I have included a picture of a cactus. The challenge is to find it and get a photo of it.

This place is great!!! Stuck out in the middle of the desert miles from anywhere, so cool, pack up your quad and sandrail and head out into the desert 🏜️
Grover “Grover All Over” Monster — Google review
Went for the day and had a great time. The band was a lot of fun and played great songs. We had some beers and relaxed while enjoying the nice weather in the huge outside seating area.
Bear Ochoa — Google review
Cool place to see and great experience! Totally off grid bar, well organized, clean restrooms. Bands playing for entertainment.
Food and drinks are reasonably priced considering they are in the middle of nowhere!
tes oligo — Google review
Great experience I would definitely recommend food is great and make sure to look around because the menu is bigger than the first options you see . Try to get there before 3pm so you can fully enjoy the food and drinks everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Just remember alcohol is in the left side of the entrance and food is on the far right side when you enter . Finding everything is somewhat confusing if you have never been because it’s not like other places like walk in and have a hostess or if you just set down they ain’t coming definitely walk up to the window and order and don’t be scared to ask information they are extremely helpful. The meat fries confused me but was easily explained. Wish I had of had time to try the dessert but they was closing early on the day we could go . Also if you have an atv definitely take it but if not the drive through the old road is not to bad I would recommend if you don’t have a 4x4 atleast an suv or an easy terrain driving vehicle. I would suggest if you get drunk hang out and don’t drive back it could be scary lol.

We had a great time here. Beautiful scenery, great music, & good! Make sure you have cash. Totally off grid means no cards or arms!

Emerald Canyon Golf Course
Golf course
Outdoor Activities
Fun scenic and challenging course. Played 12/28. Course was in great shape. Greens are pretty flat but very fast. If you’re a mid 10-18 handicap, you will enjoy this course. Kind of narrow, more like spot golf, strategy vs huge drives, some blind shots. Enjoy the views!
S Kuehn — Google review
Well worth playing. I played this course approximately 20 years ago and came back to play it today and it did not disappoint. Firstly, can I say that everyone that we met was so friendly and pleased to help us.
The green fees are very reasonable and the course was in superb condition. A lot of the layout weaves its way through canyons and makes many holes interesting and a challenge to play.
I will hopefully get the opportunity to play here again and if you visit, I hope that the welcome is as friendly as what we received today.

This was our first time playing and I’ll tell you my wife and I can’t say enough great things. Steve runs such a great course, the county is very lucky to have him lead at the course. He’s professional, welcoming and no matter how busy, polite. His staff were great also which is a reflection of his leadership.
The course was in great shape, beautiful, challenging and a lot of fun!
Thank you!
K C — Google review
Played on June 1st - course is in fantastic condition.
If you haven't played here before - you are in for a treat - the course is one of the most fun courses I have ever played. Hole 17 - it is helpful to know that the fairway ends with a huge dropoff - we played the blue tees (back tees) and had a huge drive to get to the end of the fairway. The drop from tee to fairway is probably 70 feet or so - I am bad at distances (and lengths) so it might be way more.
The greens are in very good condition - they were the perfect speed in my opinion. They were sneaky fast - they don't look super fast. The fairways do not roll out as much as I like - I was hitting kind of a high ball today and getting zero roll - in most cases the ball was backing up.
I only got in one bunker - a fairway bunker - it had a lot of sand and was wet - we teed off at around 630 am so that is to be expected.
We didn't use the range or go into get anything to eat after golf but everything there is super friendly.
I liked the new Yamaha golf carts too - you need gas there since the course is up and down through the canyons.
Some of the best views of the area are from the course.
Enjoy Emerald Canyon as much as I did - hope you have time to play here - I will be back!

Had a wonderful time at this golf course. It was our first visit and I took my wife as a rider just to see the course. It was challenging and very pretty! I felt like the course was in great shape and the views are incredible. Will definitely play here again.
John Lahrman — Google review
Holy smokes Batman! I had seen this golf course as I drove by on Highway 95 off and on for the last 40 years. Never stopped to check it out or play it. Well, until this past weekend March 16, 2024. And I can say “wow”, what a beautiful course. The greens, the mountains, the views, etc. Everyone from the time we checked in, the driving range, lady at snack bar, and when we returned the cart were extremely nice and polite. I am from Yuma AZ and I will make the drive just to play this course again. To all the staff and spotters working that Saturday, thank you. We’ll see you soon.

Four Middle Georgia boys flew to Las Vegas and spent a week playing in Nevada, Arizona and California. Today 2/14/23 we played back to back rounds at Emerald Canyon. The course is challenging with several blind drives and steep drop offs. The narrow throats make driving accuracy important. The winds today were 15-25mph sustained and gusts between 30-50 very frequently. It made it even more challenging, however the course was beautiful and lots of fun
Jason Hunt — Google review
Breathtaking views and overall well maintained course that’s really fun to play. Very friendly staff. Pace of play could be a bit better; round was 5 + hours. Tee boxes need help; they’re quite mounded. Washrooms on course had no running water in sink the day we played. Still a good course to play.
Kelly K. — Google review
It was easily one of the most beautiful and scenic courses I've ever had the privilege of playing. Prices are fair and reasonable, and the whole course has a "Blue Collar" feel to it. Highly recommend playing if you're able to.
Alex Heideman — Google review
My parents just took my son, who rarely gets to go on adventures and is incredibly shy, to learn to golf here. The groundskeeper screamed at my family for golfing where they were instructed to golf by the service desk. My son ran away upset, and may never golf again. Thanks for the traumatic experience. 👍
Liz — Google review
Really nice course. One of the best in the area. Greens were slow. It's always windy in laughlin. People were nice, gave us a better rate cause we were from Vegas. I'd play again.

Came for 1 day, 1 week and now 3 months later. Got a spot on the waterfront, went solar and there is not a negative but great people and a fun 3 months. I gave it time to grow on me. First place in 2 full time rv years I stayed any place longer than a week. Says something.
Bruce Bamford — Google review
I didn't see a hotel. It's a really noisy RV park. Sandwiched between open header drag boats on the river and the road that doubles as a drag strip, it's not a good option for serenity. If you want to party then this is the place.
Showers, drinking water, dump station etc are available for a fee. Nice fenced dog park.
Bill E Shears — Google review
I tent camped from Dec-May here. I loved it. It's only $260 a month, and you can stay 6 months, but it started getting too hot for us. The staff are great. Especially Peggy and Dan who are just incredibly sweet. Tent camping is dry. And it does get quite cold at night in the winter. So I recommend being prepared. We got solar, an electric blanket, and propane heater. They do have a wifi center. You can hang out in there and watch cable tv to warm up...or cool down. There is also a microwave in there you can use to cook. They also didn't mind if I brought my lil George foreman grill down to cook. It does get really windy and a lot of dirt blows. So i would recommend a full rain fly tent myself. I def recommend this campground to anyone. It's right on the Colorado river and the stars are the brightest I've ever seen. It's beautiful. And a peaceful place. I would def go back!!!

Huge RV accommodations with partial hookups, no sewer. Day use as well. Right on the Colorado River. Two launch ramps, dog parks, ice and water for sale. Restrooms available, next to Pirates Den Restaurant and bar. Patio dining/Happy hour on the water.
D Powell — Google review
It was alright. It’s a big campground with larger sites. Water and electricity no sewer. I think they are trying but need help.
Kip Wiese — Google review
We dry camped, had our generator, cut off is 10pm, and dumping the water is bad, ruined our brand new water filter the kind that is on the hose, but we bought water jugs for a $1 each at Walmart, they had fresh water to buy in park but we just got em at wallyworld. Lol. We stayed 7 days, for 120$ dumping went from 45$ to 20 while we stayed wasn't charged every time we dumped, we only dumped 2x. Gorgeous views , will definitely come back. Oh ya, no service, wifi sucks but who cares , I didn't. 2 great restaurants, one to y9ur left one to y9ur right, down the street.
The park has facilities, but we didn't need them. Has dog park.
Ella Luttmer — Google review
The new reservation system is terrible, because there is over 100 spots available between the first, second and third row and they're all empty. Maybe rented one weekend out of the month so no one else can use it for monthly. I imagine the park is going to lose all kinds of money because the park is absolutely empty and everyone I know is not going back there because of your reservation system. Good luck keeping the park open without tax revenue. You killed all your monthly vacationing.
David Jennings — Google review
Loved this place! I paid for boondocking with dump, fill and shower. Great clean showers with good amounts of hot water. Clean dump station, friendly people. I was near the beach and boat ramp which on the weekend was very noisy with people coming in off the river at all hours. That didn't bother me at all, bc I liked hearing their amazing laughter and joy. It was fun to just go out and meet folks and have a laugh with them while we chatted as they got their boats out. If you want your sleep, then you'll need to ask to be further from any boat dock when you check in. It all depends on your outlook how you'll view a spot, so make sure you ask to be put where you want to be. But please...DON'T ask to be near the river then complain about the noise at night. Don't be that person.
Kathy Johnson — Google review
Don't stay here, It is the worst mistake you will ever make. The grounds might look nice, but the faculty is horrible and Unprofessional. Don't be fooled

GypsyDave OffGrid — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this county run campground. On the positive side, it has a great sense of community as most campers are ling term and very friendly. Being in the beautiful Colorado River is a treat and a wonderful break from the desert. It was nice to have shade from Ramadas at most, if not all, sites. Dumping is available as is water (though water is reported to be very alkaline). It was also nice to be able to walk down to Pirate's Den for drinks or meals, and dogs are even welcomed indoors at the bar (which serves the same food as the restaurant). On the downside are a couple of ludicrous rules. First, only Class A RVs can use waterfront sites, and many sites remained open despite having guests like us who wanted to pay for and use those sites. Second, as I mentioned below, only long-term guests (greater than six nights) are allowed to use the restrooms and showers.
Full-service recreation & camping area located between 2 dams with hiking, dining & boating options.
While there were no camp spots available we were able to dry camp. We had a great view. The park was super clean and the people working were incredibly welcoming. Quiet throughout the evening. Got a recommendation for dinner at crossroads Cafe in nearby Parker. Fantastic.
Cherie Koerber — Google review
Only went for the day to fish, was a $10 day pass. However was able to take a hot shower and fill my water jugs. Fished several spots but no luck. The area is down in the valley and has some amazing views. Several beach areas for swimming and a boat launch area. If I'm back this way I'll look into a Dry camp spot if available since they have restrooms. Couldn't give it 5 stars since I didn't camp there.
Jeremy Austin — Google review
We only stayed here for 1 night but it was a beautiful place to be. Sites were paved for the trailer and fire pits were available. The bathrooms were clean and had dish washing sinks connected to the outside. The campground was quiet even though it was full. Cell service was not available for my phone but wifi was accessible near the day use area. The cost was reasonable. I really enjoyed the cactus Garden.
Wendy Davies — Google review
Very nice park. Extremely clean, friendly staff and the views around you are awesome. The price is in line with other parks, but I haven't seen other parks as clean as this one. Will definitely be back there.
MICHAEL ALLEN — Google review
Took our dogs and RV. Had plenty of room in our spot. Clean out area is near the water. Some spots had their own cleanouts. Water and electricity at our spot. But there was a nasty smell coming from some thing in their property. Plenty of beaches to play at

Love it. Was beautiful, peaceful friendly fellow campers. My little pups enjoyed the dog park area. Can't wait to return in September for my hubby 60th bday. Woo hoo
Michelle Holbrook — Google review
Hot showers, great water pressure. Pulled in without a reservation, and was given a dry camp spot in their day use area. Fine by us. Got a tip for a casual dinner and slept great!!
Cherie Koerber — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit. We camped there for five days and appreciated the many hiking trails. You can access the trails right from the campground. There is a cactus garden with interpretive labels for all the plants. There is also a Desert Tortoise. There is a gift shop/mini store complete with books and movies to loan.
Sharon Clark — Google review
Very Beautiful Park, we only stopped in for the day use service. Upon entry they charged $3 per person. We ventured out and took the hiking trails. Which was very lovely, from the top of the hill you get a glorious view of the whole park. They also have bathrooms with hot water showers for ease of freshening up. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Rhonda Bulwer — Google review
Best hike this trip! Several trails to choose from and all well maintained and marked. I wish the mines were marked. Parking is plenty of parking. Nice store with trinkets and drinks.
Tom Tezel — Google review
Very nice campground & river play launch site. The location at a bend in the Corado river gives spectators an up-close view of all the boat and PWC activity, and provides a nice beach area to do it from. Well run and organized.
Doug Farrell Godard — Google review
Beautiful place to camp. Great access to launch boat or sit on the beach all day. Rangers were very nice and really care about keeping the place clean. We had a ton of fun and will be back again.
Cj Divine — Google review
This is a wonderful location for camping and recreational activities on the water. We did notice that the entire week we were there staff never groomed the campsites as campers left. Noticed cigarette butts and the fire rings full of ash. The one bathroom nearest the boat dock is old has no hot water for showers. This bathroom needs help. The others were much nicer. We still live it there.
Dave Sepanski — Google review
We really enjoyed this state park. Dog friendly, beautiful views and great staff. We were on a full hookups site with a great view of the river.
So we are on the opposite side this time, on the river also. Still just as beautiful.
Had a great time hiking with the grandkids through The Crack in the Mountain. Nice easy trails, clearly posted markers. Great for those wanting to stay on a safe well traveled trail. Sights were breathtaking and will return to travel the other trails.
Mindie Sparks — Google review
This place is great for hiking and site seeing. There are many trails for beginners and for you extreme hikers, there's plenty of hard trails to conquer. Havasu lake is down off the trail a ways but excessable. A 5 star must go.

Beautiful trail about 1 hours to get to the Colorado river, the crack in the trail is something fun to go through

Well taken care of park...plenty of random spots to watch or do whatever....
W D — Google review
Sara’s Crack was a fun hike! It was about 75 degrees during the hike, and if it had been any hotter, we would have been in trouble. There is no shade and it is very desolate and a pretty good change in elevation. The slot canyon was beautiful and interesting and led to a cove of Lake Havasu and balance rock. The full loop was 5 miles. Lots of sand and loose gravel, as you descent a riverbed wash. Bring good shoes and LOTS of water.
Mason Jar — Google review
My family and I hiked through the slot canyon. Since we had a couple of young kids with us, we turned around once we got to the place where a type is needed to help you get down and back up. It's a great hike with great places for kids to climb around and play.
The rest of the park seemed nice, too. We briefly stopped at the playground, which was nicely shaded with restrooms right by it.
Lynette O. — Google review
There are many trails which could accessed from the trailhead. The parking lot was of decent size. I wont consider the trails to be scenic as not much variation in the landscape but it was a difference experience for us. Going through the crack was a unique experience.

The Rotary Community Park & Playgrounds is a green space that offers various sports facilities, including volleyball and a skate park. The park also features three playgrounds, a swimming area, and paved paths near the water's edge. Visitors can enjoy the beachy area with sand, covered picnic pavilions on both grass and sand areas while taking in the stunning view of the mountain-backed lake.
Such a fantastic spot, there is a nice paved path to walk near the water's edge, there is a beachy area to stick your feet in the sand and look out at the amazing mountain back dropped lake, there is a nice playground, covered picnic pavillions in the sand and the the grass, there is an incredible skate park that kids of all ages scooter, skate and bike together on. Its definitely a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful.... Clean..... Well kept park, lots of stunning animals and nature sounds. Lots to do for the kids including playgrounds. Exercise machines for everyone to use. Good amount of space for just you, you and a small group of friends, or for even larger groups. Would recommend getting there early to get the best "spots" for picnicking etc etc.
Ross ?? DJ — Google review
A very quiet, good beach for a family, the beach had sand, but the shoreline had about 15 ft of small pebbled rocks before you entered water. The first few feet in the water is also very pebbly,
We went in March and although the sun was out and it was a sunny 75 the water was still pretty cold, but my kids brought wetsuits so they were happy to wear those.
The skate park is pretty expensive and wasn't overcrowded, and there were a few pavilions still available at 1:00 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon.
There are no dogs allowed at this park/beach
There were no bugs.

Great spot to get exercise, be on or by the water and also grab a bite to eat or enjoy a happy hour with live music!

Love the sunsets here!!! Great place to get outdoors and exercise. Great Sandy Beach to walk along, not to mention not 1 but 2 different play areas as well as an exercise trail up behind the fields. Perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, or any celebration you want to make memorable!!!!!
Michelle Widmayer (Mic Wid) — Google review
This place is absolutely paradise! I have never seen water so clear, nor have I breathed fresher air. The view at sunset is something you would see in the movies, literally! To be perfectly honest, I'm sure Hollywood has had to pay millions of dollars to capture something as beautiful as this place on film. Perfect place for family outing with the kids; skate park, some of the biggest and best playgrounds the kiddos will ever see, and clean, clear water swimming, absolute Paradise!!!!! Lastly, if you come anytime through the summer and spring, you just might get a chance to see the magical BUTTERFLY GARDEN within the parks trails.

No dogs!?! Ugh, we love our lil puppers like a child, so we braved taking him with us for lunch near the lake. I was told by one of the walkers that you'll likely receive a ticket if caught disregarding the no dog policy. Too bad we can't have a leash law coupled with doodoo bags, so the lil puppers could also enjoy this wonderful clean and well kept park.

An absolute gem of a park. It’s literally right on beautiful Lake Havasu. There’s plenty of shady areas, open grass fields, walking trails, playgrounds, picnic tables, & other park amenities. The maintenance is pristine & ambience serene. This place is a must visit for anyone looking to a beautiful outdoor space & lovely Lake Havasu!

We first came to this park via boat, kids played on the beach. Second time we drove, pretty busy, but with people coming and going we found a parking spot & a beach spot quickly. Bathrooms were clean, dogs aren’t allowed, tho many ignored this. Ramadas & picnic tables were taken, but you can bring your own easy-ups and tables. Good bit of shallow waters to play in, it’s a bit rocky, we were glad to have water shoes. Kids really loved this park, even tho they never even made it to the playground. The water was too much fun!

1400 S Smoketree Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403, USA
The famous London Bridge, which was rebuilt after being transported from London in the 1970s, is a major attraction in Lake Havasu. Visitors can take a walking tour to explore the bridge and its surroundings. The area around the bridge offers many options for dining, shopping and entertainment. One of the popular activities is riding on the casino boat across the lake for a nominal fee of $2 where one can enjoy scenic views of city lights reflecting off water at night.
Pretty awesome! Glad I made the trip. Looks like a great place to party with friends or a fun day with the family on the water. There's a little bit of everything no matter what the occasion maybe. So many food options, friendly people and countless fun things to do.

I absolutely love the structure of this. History saved and new history created. The details on the lamp posts are amazing. Great view from all sides on top and underneath.
There's plenty of shops, restaurants, restrooms, parking, activities, and history to learn. The culture and atmosphere just pulls you in.

My kid asked to go here for his 16th birthday. I wasn't thrilled, but it was his request, so that was what we were going to do. I had surprisingly a fun time. It's a cool thing to see but nothing to write home about. I liked the historical things discussing the bridge in that city but wished they added more about its history in London. That was the bridge they used to put heads on. It had 2 former queens decorating it. Shout out to King Henry for the murders!
The surrounding city was friendly, and the scenery was very pretty. I would see it again.

What a unique, and kind of random, piece of history in Arizona!
They deck out for the holidays! Beautiful lights and a fun little walk for Christmas! Fake snow, sync music, and all!

What a sight! Very clean and well maintained area! All the restaurants and going ons were fun! People from all over the country here! The story about the bridge and channel is interesting as well. Great place for family time!

You can take a nice walk along the bridge. The English village, the restaurants and small stores were especially great. You can also hire boats here and water sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do. Don't forget to take the ferry, roundtrip 4 dollars for 1 hour, kids 2 years and younger are free. Nearby there are some great parks and a museum. The place is ideal for a short trip.

Absolutely beautiful place and very friendly town. Loved the fact that its a dog friendly town, allowing us to have our golden retriever and Chihuahua at all time. Outside of being dog friendly, most people cleaned up after their dogs too.

Very cute little "village" where you can eat, shop, or just walk around and enjoy. There's restaurants to eat, stands to buy quick bites, a park to walk along the river, lighthouse replicas to see, and of course boat rides. The kids enjoyed themselves (I have teens and little ones) It was a lot of walking but very beautiful views and picture opportunities.
After walking around and exploring, we ate at "The Chair and decided to call it a day. We were there a total of 4 hours (including lunch). We went during winter, Dec 28. I think it looks even prettier during Spring or Fall. We'll be back one day 😊

This was my first time here and it was really nice. There was some construction going on so certain areas were blocked off. Overall we had a good time walking around ..

Amazing bridge beautiful and well kept 🌉 The little area below is adorable we absolutely loved the little shops and restaurants. The whole thing is such a good vibe. Many amenities to rent for the day and a inexpensive boat to take you across the water to a casino. Our new favorite spot in Lake Hasavu 💛

Great shops and great places to eat....
However, while my mobility is currently limited due to surgically reconstructed foot.
The primary drawback is that there is only one way to access these great shops if you are in a wheelchair or other adaptive device or mode of ambulation (knee scooter, crutches).... There is only one ADA approved entry to this area. The surface is relatively unlevel and has many steep inclines.
A few of the shops also lack ADA approved access points either for entry or internal travel.

The bridge itself is nice, and there are many businesses around it. Restaurants, gift shops (pricey), boat rentals... you name it & it's probably there. Had a lovely time there with friends. And the ferry lands there for easy access from/to the casino across the lake.

In the 45 years we've lived in AZ, we had never visited this attraction. 🤔 We were very to surprised to see how nice it was. It starts with a very nice gift shop with some historical displays. As you walk down to the bridge, you'll see shops and places to eat. There is a lovely paved walk along the river which leads to a wonderful little city park.
The channel that they dug to make the bridge go over water (only bridge built over dry land and then flooded to make it that way). The resulting island has an interesting drive around it where you can see about 15 models of famous lighthouses.
The biggest surprise was that it didn't cost a dime to use the gift shop or see the bridge or walk. It was all very nice and would recommend seeing it if you haven't been.

Lake Havasu is always fun and the London Bridge is pretty cool. There are places to eat, drink, and shop. For $2 you can ride the casino boat across the lake to the casino and back. Great way to get a tour of the lake and at night you get to see all the lights of the city reflecting of the water. Very beautiful. Highly recommend the Starship tour that takes you on the lake and up the Colorado River.

Been there a few times, but most times I've been most stores were closed in the winter. Made a point of going during spring break time. It wasn't too busy. My girls loved it ad well. They especially loved the ice cream shop. Be warned, it's cash only.

London Bridge was purchased, dismantled, transported, then rebuilt In Lake Havasu City prior to dredging and making the channel and creating the island. It’s a piece of world history in the middle of the desert. A must see when in Lake Havasu, make sure you take the time to see it at night lit up!
Michele Stroud — Google review
Most people confuse London Bridge in Arizona with the iconic London Bridge in the United Kingdom. The one in Arizona was purchased in London in the 1960s, dismantled and reassembled on Lake Havasu. It's a beautiful place with great views, especially during sunset, and a popular spot for tourists and photographers. The bridge itself is surrounded by shops, restaurants and recreational facilities, making it a picturesque place worth visiting. Very good restaurant right next to the bridge, we will definitely come back here!!

They removed all the love locks unfortunately.
London bridge was originally built in the 1830’s, and bought by Robert McCullough for $2,460,000 in 1968 and moved to the new town Lake Havasu to bring in tourists. This was an amazing feat and one of the most memorable investments for a town ever made. Now the new local government wants to change that and make it a ghost town. Very sad to see the new changes to all of havasu.

Not much to say. It’s London Bridge in Arizona. Worth a visit for the novelty value alone. Plenty of hospitality in and around the area, but the bridge itself is really just a snap and go attraction.

Lake Havasu was gorgeous!! It felt like I stepped into another world. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and very inviting. Beautiful views no matter where you turned. I visited during December, so the water wasn't as active as I'm sure it is during the summer months, but enjoyable and beautiful nonetheless.

422 English Village, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403, USA
Lake Havasu City is situated in the western region of Arizona and serves as a hub for desert trails and aquatic activities on Lake Havasu. The Island, an area linked to the mainland by the iconic London Bridge that was relocated from England, offers marinas and a walkway. The Lake Havasu Museum of History chronicles the local Native American culture as well as steamboat history. Additionally, Lake Havasu State Park boasts beaches with scenic mountain views, bird-watching opportunities, and picnic areas.
Lake Havasu State Park is a location that boasts the original London Bridge and offers visitors lake beaches, campsites, trails, and a garden with an abundance of wildlife. The facility has large, clean and paved sites for camping with easy access to the beach. Despite slightly dated bathroom facilities, it offers great cell service close proximity to all necessary amenities like Walmart, Costco and several restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Havasu State Park. The staff is very friendly and the sites are large, paved, and clean. Access to the beach is so close to all the sites so you will love that. The only thing I could ding is the bathrooms are a bit dated but it is a Park we would come back too. Great cell service and all the places you need are around you. Costco, Walmart, and multiple restaurants. London Bridge is only 2 miles away if that is your fancy. Cool place!

Camped in cabin had one noisy neighbor that finally settled down. Nice view of the lake. Very clean and neat. A couple small trails and beautiful cactus garden. A little pricey cabin in my opinion. No cooking allowed, restrooms/shower short walk. Power, heat, a/c, fans and lights. Plenty of sleeping space. Water spigot outside. Fairly new cabins. Outdoor picnic table and fire ring. Staff informative and friendly. Campground fully booked according to the entrance signs.

I went with my work & we stayed in the cabins. Beautiful and a great size. Restrooms & showers weren't far from the cabins at all. They were kept clean. I went on a hike, there were some trails you could follow there and back it was 2 miles. A cute cactus garden to look at. We also rented a boat for fishing. We were able to have a bonfire at night as well. Great place to go

We love this place. Everyone we meet there are friendly and the park is generally pretty quiet. The Rangers and staff are courteous and friendly as well.
My only complaint is that we arrived to check in at 12:30 and the person at the check in station said we couldn't check in until closer to 2 pm. 2 pm is the actual official check in time so I understand the rule, however we almost always check out of our campsites before 8am to get on the road early and most people we know do the same. The person at the station didn't even ask me my name or what site we were in and she stated our site was not available yet. I understand the rules and I'm actually a rule follower by default, but I just thought this was a little rigid. Not a deal breaker and we will come back.

Yes, it is a beautiful lake. Yes, the campsites are well laid out and large. Yes, the bathrooms are clean. But it is hot!!!!!!!! Really hot. 102° the day we were there. The beach where the jetskis race is pretty! Nice sand and stuff. But you can't "play" there. The Rotary park is beautiful but no dogs allowed so that's a bust. The state park beach is rocky under the water so that sucks too! The beautiful white sand is "no dogs allowed" so we were relegated to a small cove next to the PWC/Jet boat launch. I cut my foot walking on the rocks.
That said, the white sand is sketchy at best. Super hard on your feet walking on it and full of weeds and it stops about 3' from the water where, you guessed it, ROCKS!
Not sure this is a family friendly lake unless you are just going to boat. No beaching areas really, unless you oat out to find one.

Havasu Landing Resort & Casino, located on a lakefront property with a marina, offers laid-back rentals, camping and gambling. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views during a nice boat ride to the other side of the lake. The casino features numerous slot machines and a restaurant where visitors can have lunch or dinner. Although it may get busy on weekends, the friendly waitstaff makes up for any delays in service.
We love this location. We've stayed there a couple of times. They offered veterans rates the time we stayed. The staff is friendly and accommodating. After our last stay, I forgot something in the room. I returned and spoke to the front counter staff and explained my problem. The nice lady contacted one of their housekeeping staff who met me at the room to let me in to get my property.
I also love the fact that they don't restrict the casino beach to just guests of the hotel. We've been beach guests as casino guests and non casino guests.

Nice little boat ride to the other side of the lake with beautiful views. Nice little place to gamble and have lunch. They didn't have open tables but there were a lot of slots. Their little restaurant took over an hour to get into on a Sunday and they were out of half the menu. Lol BUT the perfect weather, amazing views of the lake and the friendly waitstaff made up for it. Not to mention, they didn't rush us out as we wanted to just relax at that table on the patio. Overall, great experience.

Nice small casino has a good mix of new games. And of course take the boat ride if you have time only a few bucks. The restaurant was OK can tell they are short handed like everywhere is now and staff is trying to keep up. My meal was not bad and prices were not to bad.

My husband and I chose this place to spend our mini vacation and we did not regret it. Sometimes you want to relax the city and people, and we had it. We liked the hotel, the room was clean and cozy, on the first floor there is a cafe. Drinks food we were also pleased, we also tried desserts, the portions were large, it pleased. From small minuses, it is the attitude of some local people from the staff, which with some disdain treated vacationers. Otherwise everything is great, there is a casino, bar, also a pool and jacuzzi.
Definitely recommend this place for a romantic trip 💞💘

My wife and I drove to the casino since that was easier and a shorter drive than going to Lake Havasu City. We really loved the casino due to the no smoking. So nice to be able to walk into a casino then walk out not smelling like an ashtray. Neither of us won, but played for a long time on just a few bucks. The restaurants staff were wonderful but the food was absolutely terrible. I had the bacon burger and it was easy to tell on the first bite it was previously frozen and was zapped in a microwave. The bacon was so tough and hard to chew. My onion rings were cooked in oil that was not up to temperature when they dropped them to cook. They were not fully browned and not crunchy. My wife had the chicken wings and they were also previously frozen. When they microwaved them they should have left them in for another 45 seconds or more. We liked the waiter so well we didn’t say anything bad about the food. We may visit the casino again to play, but will not be eating at the restaurant. Forgot to mention the view. We sat out on the patio and had a wonderful view of the lake and beach area. A beautiful day.

Enjoyed the visit but it was a short lived thrill for the most part. Didn't stay, just rode the ferry over from Lake Havasu, AZ. Side note - The ferry ride was a $4 round trip, and an enjoyable sightseeing opp. Anyhow, casino was clean, casino staff was mediocre but pleasant. Not a very loose casino so it was mostly feeding machines. The restaurant staff was very attentive and accommodating though, they earned the stars for service. Nice group of people to encourage a return visit. We had a BBQ cheeseburger and that was bomb, the onion rings were very oily but crispy. I loved the meal but some may not enjoy how oily the rings were... I would eat here again but not play in the casino lol. Hope you enjoy the experience though, it was worth the try.

The trip on the ferry from Lake Havasu to the casino is half the fun the casino is almost brand new the machines are new the first night I won $900 the second night I lost 300 guess which night was more fun? The fairy leaves every hour from Lake Havasu so take plenty of money because you'll be on the island for over an hour before you can get it right back. There's a very expensive very pretty restaurant attached to the casino too bad most of the people that I saw there including myself couldn't afford to eat there I would have loved to have a fast snack you have to go to the bar to get nachos and I don't drink other than that the place is great didn't try the rooms yet

I use the ferry to go to Havasu City and attend AA meetings while I'm in the area. The new casino is clean, well designed, and stocked with machines.
People are very polite, friendly and well dressed considering the desert climate.
The ferry is $4.00, it leaves the casino every hour on the half hour for Havasu City, coming back every hour on the hour to casino.

I am absolutely blown away with how good our food was. I got the half rack of ribs with the best french fries I've ever tasted. I don't even like fries, but these ones I will be coming back for. We also got the pulled pork sandwich with fries which equally didn't disappoint.

Took the ferry over. First time to the casino. Ferry and casino staff were friendly and attentive but the morning bartender in the lounge was a bit put off by me asking for drink prices (no price list on menu) she looked at me like I had two heads, such a bad attitude and condescending tone, purchased my beer and got right back on the return ferry. Disappointed.

They have a Ferry for $2 one way or $4 Roundtrip. We took it from the London Bridge and it was a nice smooth ride. We took great pictures since it was close to sunset hour. Played at the casino, had drinks at the bar and ate good food at the restaurant. Got back in the ferry and enjoyed the evening walking by the London bridge then back to our car and to the hotel. So convenient and loved the lake.

Basically checking out because of the great deal of a $2 ferry ride from Lake Havasu City. Resort had Avery some check in desk, no resort type foyer. Clean but employees seem to do their jobs but I didn't really experience much friendliness except on the part of the person tending the grounds. He does a great job. I like that it isn't as noisy as many casinos.

Ferry needed to get you to Hotel-Casino does not transport cars. (So yes it’s really a boat). Make sure you pack your belongings appropriately, otherwise you’ll find the so called “Ferry” experience “less than desirable”.

What a great experience! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and the hostess and waitress (and even the busser) at the restaurant were very kind and attentive.
The swimming pool was nice, but it was a little bit chilly.... BUT, that's okay because the jacuzzi was really toasty!

Can only share about the restaurant. Place is nice enough but they must be short staffed like everywhere. Was seated but after 30 mins we left as did 2 other tables because no one came to take our order. We came for lunch, didn't get any, played a few slots and got back on the boat. Oh well.

FERRY-Our family rode the ferry across the lake to get here. $4 a person round trip. The ride was nice took approximately 10-15 minutes. They come and go every hour on the hour. We road over late afternoon enjoyed a meal ana full pulls on the machine before heading back at sunset for a beautiful ride full of color.
THE RESTAURANT ***** Yes I just gave the restaurant 5 stars from me. We came in January on a friday afternoon/ early evening. There were not many other diners. Maybe 3 or 4 tables. I ordered chips and salsa appetizer and the salsa was awesome. I have never had that type of salsa before and was so pleased (I really raved about it to our waiter) I ended getting a togo container to take back home with me. I was even more pleased with the shrimp dish I ordered. The staff was very pleasant and attentive.
CASINO When we stepped off there were big signs saying no one under 21 could enter even by the lobby doors. BUT after checking with staff the kids were able to come in they just couldn't be in the Casino. This is how we had anticipated it would be, but were thrown off by the signs. It is fairly small, but they had all the things you could want of a casino. My husband was on a machine that was hitting pretty good but I was ready to catch the ferry back at sunset. And cashed him out.
Themed riverside resort with 2-story cabins, plus a marina, a store & a kitschy eatery/bar.
It's been 40 years since I visited Park Moabi
Then to Now is an amazing transformation.
Pirates cove is family oriented fun spot from end of March to November. For 15 years they have changed this Park Moabi Regional Park into a wildlife refuge area as well as a perfect spot to call your own getaway for your stay. Upon our arrival Shea checked us in and gave us detailed information about all the amenities the park offered. We got a little lost and the security guard Jim was super nice enough to have us follow him to our site. Gorgeous site over looking the rivers water front.
I am surprised to see that snowbirds have not found this place to be the perfect quiet getaway for a older couple to relax and enjoy to serene views of the Colorado River and the wildlife with it.
We started our day with some fishing and caught a great sized Bass that fed us for dinner.
Then rode the razor off into the desert to feel like we were the only ones on this planet.
Once we finished our ride,We had a fresh icy cold beer and some yummy pretzel bites and wings prepared perfectly to order
Jack our Server was a nice gentleman who answered any questions I asked about the resort.
Sitting on the patio watching the birds come and visit us and the pelicans landing in the bay was a special treat. We stopped in and did some shopping in the boutique where even my Dog was greeted with love and affection.
We found some great memorabilia.
The amenities offered are far more then I can transcribe. But even if you don't have a camper you can rent their pirate themed cabins right on the water front.as well as the water park and charter boats that will take you back and forth to Havasu.
Shuttle service to and from your camp spot to allow you to enjoy be pampered.
I read a lot of bad reviews on this place but I could not find one complaint!
Thank you for a memorable experience!

At $120 a night for a campsite, I expect a working bathroom. We were in peninsula 5 and the bathroom is out of order, making the closest one about a football field's distance away in peninsula 3. Not a fun walk during the heat of the day or in the middle of the night. I emailed them to simply say that a heads up about that would have been nice, so we could've requested a different location, but no reply. I guess when you're pretty much the only campground on water in a desert you can do whatever you want.

Use to be one of our favorite spots to head to until this weekend. Went up for the spring meet up as we have in previous years, bought the passes for the beach parking with the group. We have never been treated so poorly (by pirate resort employees) as we were this time. The upper management better take notice of how their patrons are being treated before everyone starts heading elsewhere. Hopefully the folks that run spring meet up will move it to a more hospitable place. We can say for sure we will not be returning to Pirates until some major changes are made.

It was $35 a night to camp back then and while I understand with all the improvements made (that we don’t use) the prices would be more but now they are up to $85 per night with a one time $20 fee for per dog plus charges if you have an ATV. I know pirates like to plunder but this is crazy especially since there are no bathroom facilities anywhere close us. Upgraded bathrooms ( the old ones look the same as they did 20 years ago) and maybe nice fire pits at the campsite would be a nice add but the peninsula sites haven’t changed at all.

This place is very clean and a great place to get together. It is a party environment but they try to keep it family friendly. It is a long Marina sided with boats the whole way. They have a convenient water taxi that runs the shore line if you want to go to the bar: restaurant.
The bar often has live music and the food is good. Drinks were reasonable. They are very anti smoking or vaping. There are sign’s everywhere and they say if caught you and your group will be asked to leave. We are fine with that but if you partake you should be aware.
They do have lots of courtesy docks for the bar restaurant my 4 star rating comes from the $35 fee to park your boat on the shoreline. It was free, then $10 and now $35. Quick inflation. Holiday weekends it gets crowded so find your spot early then enjoy the battle of who has the loudest sound system.

Great place if you ride OHV's. The beach by the restaurant is beautiful. The restaurant is a little pricey but the staff is great. The campsites on the peninsula are great, the other campsites are a parking lot, not so great. Overall we had a fun time.

At first when checking in and they gave me several type written pages of rules and wanted all documentation I thought they were over managed and $100+ per night. However, when I drove around this extensive facility I began to under stand. All kinds of water and land craft with lots of people and kids in large groups all having fun in their own ways.

Used to love hanging out on the beach but now they charge 35 to 50 a day per boat to park on the beach. I get they need to service the area and everything, but man, this is steep. We now park somewhere else.

We have a spot on the peninsula and it is paradise 43 degrees and a river ... how can you get better then heat and your own private beach! They have a free shuttle if you want to go to their restaurant and bar! The ladies at check in were fabulous!

Nice cabin, peaceful and beautiful. Only wish the restaurant stayed open a little later than 6 PM. We checked into our cabin at 4:30 and were starving by the time we got settled. Nothing open for food or anything else. Would have been nice to have been warned about this when booking so we knew to bring food for the first night. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

*** UPDATE- 3/14/22'
You can see that management responded below and asked me to reach out by email. Well... I emailed them back and got no response. Apparently this was a disingenuous offer. I wasn't even expecting anything from it, I was honestly just trying to help management understand where they could improve. I'm changing my review from a 3 star to a 2 star. The location is great, the staff/management is poor.
This place is pretty cool. I stopped by here years ago so when we decided to spontaneously go out of town in January I picked this spot. The resort was very expensive. Drinks are 20 bucks at the bar. Camping was 100-120 a night etc. I guess I could look past that but my worst experience was with the front office staff. The young lady was really a grouch. She even had the nerve to say "oh you're finally leaving huh? When we left. I can't believe a customer service rep would say that to a customer. She's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.

Beautiful, but pricey resort. Nice front desk, but we paid $88 with Good Sam discount for one night. Clean and well kept.

Loved it so much! We are already planning a trip next year but with a group! RV Camping area is clean and right next to beach areas!

A little slice of paradise in the middle of nowhere! The staff was super friendly and they did their job in a professional manner. The kids and I were a little bummed about not being able to play on the pirate ship, but being on a peninsula with basically a private beach definitely made up for it. The "public" restrooms by the peninsulas are actually clean and well kept. Upon our departure we booked our next visit, so it's definitely a keeper on our camping list!

Welcome to the S&@t show. Campers park where ever they want and the last guy in has to yell at the staff which is worthless because they got your money already. Ok view . Minimal riding opportunities because of California restrictions and no legal way to Arizona side. Probably won’t camp here again.

Not a fan of this place, my advice when checking in is to arrive after hours when the office is closed. Ironically, after hours security is much easier and friendlier than the office staff.
To long of a story to get into here but let's just say I've camped dozens of times on Federal land, national parks and private campgrounds never seen this level of authoritarian control, requests for documents of all types and greed like this. Got a dog? $20. Got a second car? $20 Got a boat or Jetski? $20 Want to build a fire at your camp? $25.
Asked me if I was hiding any offroad toys in my RV because maybe they were missing out on another $20??
All this after paying twice the rate a motel costs in the same area for a patch of dirt. Anyhow... awful management here I've never experienced anything quite like it.

Stayed on one of the peninsulas. Having full hook ups right against the river was great. Restaurant definitely was lacking but we were there on the off season.

So I have to start with this place is beautiful to be fair and that's the end I tried booking my vacation on a Saturday they told me they won't split a weekend up mind you this is the winter the women said don't worry we will have plenty you can just drive in so if you camp like me you know you don't want to take that chance also if you have that many in winter sitting around your losing money doing that but to move on so we decided to change our vacation and come in on Sunday if you go to the sight it says 85 dollars full hook ups no problem staying 4 nights get to the reservation and its 465 dollars wait what so I call and ask what is a utility fee oh that's for electricity and what is a lease fee oh we lease the land so you have to pay our lease and a resort fee so what is the 85 dollars I'm paying for just to drive in but I want everyone to understand it's not the money because I am staying in parker right down the road for same cost but again like not splitting weekend and this is bad managerial skills just tell me it's a hundred and 20 dollars to stay but to say the sight is 85 full hookups and then find out my 85 is for nothing is just plain bad buisness practices

This is a cool spot to hang out and chill and enjoy some food and drinks if you’re ever in Lake Havasu for an event or with your friends and family! There is plenty of beach front parking for your boat and also they have docks you can park at! You can chill around your boat in the water or on the beach! You can also go into the restaurant and hangout in the bar or the patio of the restaurant and enjoy some awesome food and some amazing drinks and watch all the boats coming and going through the channel! They also have a resort you can get a room at if you need a place to stay! Don’t know to much bout that place! However the beach and restaurant are a chill relaxing spot to enjoy your day/ weekend or a holiday weekend with the family and even you can bring the kids!!!

Nice, private. Water is a bit muggy but less crowded than other places.

We love Moabi Park. It has tracks for side by sides. We love the coves, it has hook ups for BUSES and Rvs. The channel is great, that's where all the party happens. it has gotten bit expensive to reserve a spot but it is totally worth it. The launch ramp is roomy for various boats to launch

No camping allowed ! They are a private resort that bought a land lease from San Bernardino county. And unfortunately like everything else in this screwed up state they’ve managed to ruin this for the residents of California as well. Jacking up prices for everything under the sun. Only RV stays and cabins which are 300 to 500 dollars a night! With a 500 dollar deposit?!! Are they nuts ?! The Hilton doesn’t charge a 500 dollar deposit ! Or the Marriott ! Who are these people !!!? Staying in an RV is not camping . Nor is a cabin. Sad . Granted San Bernardino county definitely needed the money to improve but not seeing much improvement in the city of San Bernardino! They bought this lease 12 years ago?! Where’s the money going ????

I recommend this establishment if you are traveling through Mojave. The honey from this place is liquid candy. It's raw from bees that forage the desert foliage. They sell bears and jars. It is darker, thicker and richer than store bought, and tastes far better. They operate out of a small camper turned office and I am glad I stopped.
Friendly staff. The gentleman who was working was kind enough to chat with me about keeping bees, especially in that area's climate. Well worth the stop and I plan to return the next time I go to Laughlin or Las Vegas.

Bought a glas on our US-roadtrip 15 years ago and had it on my buttered bread this morning in Hamburg/Germany. Brings back great memories, tastes just excellent and it would be awesome if you would ship a glas to Hamburg 😊. Would you? My glass now is empty 🤩, David

I own Mystic Maze Honey. It's a nice, locally owned and operated business with friendly, small town service.
We are beekeepers that sell our own honey.
The quality of our honey is far superior to store bought honey. It's thicker, more flavorful and our prices are lower than any other around.
We also sell bee pollen, fresh royal jelly, homemade jams, goatsmilk soap, incense And other items as well.
Thank you for your interest in Mystic Maze Honey 😊

Mystic Maze Honey is truly the best honey in the entire southwest. Their rich, pure, and deliciously sweet honey pairs well with my morning coffee, chicken/meat marinade, teas, etc. I even have a spoonful on its own for my dessert sometimes! Their honey is locally produced and unlike store-bought honey, Mystic Maze Honey is pure, thicker, and reasonably priced. They also sell pollen which my mom sprinkles on her food and coffee and has found to help with her local, seasonal allergies. Mystic Maze operates out of a small trailer which is typically open from 8am-5pm daily. It's located right off US-HWY 95, super close to the I-40. They also operate on an honor system, meaning its all self-serviced. You retrieve what you want which is labeled with its respective price, and pay for it by placing your cash in an envelope and slipping into the payment drop-off box. I am a Bullhead City native, who now lives in Phoenix, and always make it a requirement to stop by and purchase my honey. If you want pristine quality honey at a good price, you must buy from Mystic Maze! #ShopLocal

We stopped by on Friday (03/03/23) for our first time. We usually by your honey from Herb’s Herbs in Lake Havasu City. We decided to stop by your stand since we were going through Needles. Unfortunately your stock was limited to a few pint and gallon sizes, we usually by the quart size. Is your stock limited due to the time of year? We enjoy your honey and will continue to buy it, be it at Herb’s or your stand.
My wife saw the puzzle and had to have one, very cute. So, we bought the puzzle and honey dipper…

I drive a truck for a living and one day my route took me past The Mystic Maze roadside stand/trailer. I stopped to shop and even got to visit with the owner, Eric. He was very cordial and helpful. I bought a gallon, if memory serves me correctly, but only had a credit card to pay with. At the time, he wasn’t set up to take credit cards; but he trusted me to send him a check when I got home. I have since ordered from him, as have my other family members. Each time we have received delicious, high-quality honey that is much thicker (almost to the point of chewy, initially) than store bought brands. Eric, thanks for providing the best honey I’ve ever had, at a cost that is very reasonable.

One of the most underrated wilderness areas in the lower 48. The area bordered by I40, 95, the Colorado, and the northern bounds of Lake Havasu is a gem. Tumarion and Powell peaks tower above the transition Sonoran-Mojave biome, the Needles are dramatic and moody, the light is almost never unflattering, and the Colorado runs blue and cold at the bottom. There are petroglyphs, cliffs, arches, cacti, burro trails, canyons, washes, and every color of rock known to man. There are several access points and a UTV makes things easier, but even with a clunker 2wd you can blaze trails into the shimmering austere wasteland of an interior with some determination, water, and a wide brimmed hat. Could easily be a National Monument. Overlooked by car folk as there aren’t any cheap and easy vistas for them to take bad phone photos and phone the day in. Better than Lake Mead in my opinion and the crown jewel of the lower Colorado along with the Spirit Mountain Wilderness to the north.

While driving back from Grand Canyon/Flagstaff to LA (or vice-versa) on I40, it is surely worth taking to old Route66 along this specific stretch from Kingman to Needles.
Driven through this route a couple times now, and the Cool Springs Gas Station definitely gave a nice retro-perspective into what an "important 1920's gas-station stop" looked like along the predominant cross country highway at that time - Route66. The highway also takes you through a little village "Oatman" - a key gold mining town in the early 1900s. Its pretty fun driving though a village full of donkeys all around on the street - donkeys whose ancestors were probably key in helping miners lug gold in this area.

This is a cute little shop on Route 66 with some great souvenirs. They no longer have the book about the Cars movie, so that was a bummer. The views here are great and it’s definitely worth stopping here.

A neat little filling station on Route 66. But they no longer sell fuel, it's now a gift shop. With a friendly cat that hangs out there. There are a number of cool gas stations along Route 66, and this is no exception. Definitely worth a stop, the place is neat, and the scenery behind the station is also amazing. Step into the Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Bar, a historic Old West venue that has been transformed into an ice cream shop and American eatery. This establishment is located in a building with a rich history, rumored to be haunted, and was originally built in 1902 as the Durlin Hotel. After being rebuilt following a fire in 1924, it was renamed the Oatman Hotel in the 1960s.
Great day trip for the family. The drive in is beautiful and littered with donkeys along the road so drive slowly. The town is welcoming and playing with the donkeys was so much fun. The truth is that the Restaurant employees were extremely courteous. The concern is more about the clientele behavior. It's clear that some of your customers still instill poor interaction behavior with a variety of different cultures. As a owner of my own restaurant i have found that this can usually cause customers to stop returning.Again the service by all the employees was great. I believe that promoting better respect among all customers should be a big focus. By providing more server's helps to meditate the time frame of customers to customers interaction.

We visited Oatman and hopped into the Oatman Hotel & Restaurant for lunch. Great service in a quirky place full of $1 bills. The waitress said they are estimating it to be more than $400,000 stapled to the wall. There is some great history behind why these bills are there (ask someone working there and they will explain why).
I had the Road Runner Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Pulled Pork. Mine was okay. My hubby looooooved his!

Some of the most unusual wallpaper I’ve ever seen. Oatman Hotel Restaurant and Saloon is nestle in a quiet old gold and silver mining town. Right out of the old western movies that my Ma and Pa used to watch. A menu with many items to choose from including good old biscuits and gravy which I had ordered. Some of the best gravy I’ve ever tasted. Glancing over at other tables, where people were eating, the other items look delicious also. The locals which not only include those who live there, there are several boroughs wondering around the streets. Friendly and very hungry. If you like stepping back into history and love delicious tasting food, then give the town of Oatman, Arizona a visit and don’t pass up the Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Saloon.

There are over 400,000 $1.00 bills that are literally hanging everywhere a space could/can be found. And the Burros roaming freely about town and along the sidewalks of the shops are funny too.

Not very far from Las Vegas, in the town called Oatman is the 'Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Bar' which has US Dollars stuck all over it. The site is very unusual since this is not merely a decoration theme but real currency notes, also called a 'Bill' in the US. I found this to be a cool place to check out while doing the Route 66 road trip in June 2023. These dollar bills were originally left there for the miners to buy food since they would go into the mines and come out after several weeks. These bills left for them by passersby would ensure they were not starved. The tradition continues to date, except people also write their names on the dollar bill. There is also a gift shop and museum attached to the restaurant, but they were closed when I visited.

Wonderfully charming place to eat with home cooked food and huge portions. You won't go hungry or thirsty here. With over $300,000 dollars worth of dollar bills stuck to the walls and ceiling, this eatery does not lack any conversation. On occasion you will also get to see Big Mike come in from his wrangling and robbing in the streets (all for show). They make their own potato chips which are amazing when they cover them in cheese and garlic!! We've eaten here many times and everything has always been great. Still the pulled pork is simply the best when you pair it with the homemade chips and a bottle of Route 66 Root Beer. The Root Beer isn't on the menu, so you have to ask for it. Christa will help you out, she is a wonderful advocate of Oatman and is charming and gave us great advice on future stays. She didn't steer us wrong on our food either. Over all this place has so much character it's worth it to come in and have a drink or a samwhich to just take a look around and here some stories about how the dollar bills were left for the miners. You will probably see the burros out front as well because the smell of the food drew us in as well!!

Was so excited to finally get to visit here but this waitress was the absolute worst .... why even work with the public if you do not like working with people 😒 terrible. Almost 2 hour wait . ✋️

Great staff, great food and drinks. We even found dollar bills signed by us in 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Only downside is the burrows prevented my wife from going out 😆 🤣

It is a bar and a restaurant. It is not possible to stay overnight here. The ambience is funny, with hundreds of dollar bills replacing the paper on the walls. It was also suitably decorated for Halloween. The food was average but honest. The service was okay. We had sadwiches and soda. The place itself puts on a western show at noon-1pm. The restaurant was part of the holdup. That was funny.
I purchased the Cherry Butter in early Nov 2023 and it is so very very good. If I had realized just how good the quality of the butters were I would have purchased more than two. Perhaps I will have to order them now.

Loved our stop in Oatman & this place was a special stop with the motorcycle Museum! Along with the wild burros made it even better.

Interesting, quirky, quaint, historic, artsy, old west mining town from the early 1900s that got resurrected for the tourist trade. Lots of domestic donkeys gone wild wandering about. Worth a visit if in the general area and you have a few spare hours .

Pretty interesting place! I liked the motorcycle museum up stairs. Fun day with the jackasses roaming the street! Plus you can say you drive on Route 66!

It wasn’t open when we went there but there is plenty of things to see outside including this really cool saves. I’ll also share pictures that we took of the town, we WOULD go back.
Beautiful drive and views! Lots of tight curves though on drive and roads are not very wide so take it easy and recommend a car vs large vehicle.

Definitely worth the detour, take it slow and easy. Seriously tight turns and steep drops. Well worth it for the view, interesting to see all the old cars that didn’t heed the speed warning.

Fantastic drive with incredible views. Take it easy and use the various pull offs to take photos. It is less scary to head up the road from Oatman than coming from I40. A top 10 drive in my book.

You are a part of history up here, walk around and take a look at all the markers of those that have passed. There's a bunch of crosses, and markers of people some really old that live their other lives. All their lives. It's very cool up on top oh, and please keep it clean. #templemastery

Range is very nice, the course was in really good shape. Had a good time but the damn wind started blowing lol

The staff are short-handed, but they give their all to make you feel welcome. The course overall is in good shape. Course has some thinking before you hit your tee shot. Some great water holes designs. You will enjoy playing this course.

Course was not too bad. Woman at the counter checking us in had an attitude and was rude. Maybe she should put her phone down when customers are there. It's all about customer service.....that is what customers remember.

Unbearable amount of mosquitos and bugs. Had to gather bug spray from another player that didn’t help. My friend and I were bit all over our bodies while on vacation. They charge 2$ a water while it’s 115 degrees plus outside. Wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve wanted to play this course for quite awhile and finally got to today. Fabulous… I cannot edit to play again!
They had a great lunch special and it was the best bbq hotdog I’ve had in years. Service was above and beyond too. Super friendly staff.

Great course, loved the greens, tee boxes ok. Took one star due to our group called about attire told collars on shirts. Then the group pushing us all day some slob in a muscle shirt. I know its difficult to enforce such a rule but if it exists then enforce it.

It was a very good experience, the staff was friendly everything was on time and course was in good shape for the time of year and the weather. The greens were actually very good, very true
, they were a little on the slow side but not much.

Good layout, but be warned, most holes have a “no miss” zone. Put it there on the approach and you’ll feel like you backed into a cactus.
They need to deep six the two tier rate system. Why are people punished for coming down for a few months and enriching the local businesses. Restaurants don’t do it, retail outlets don’t do it. Is the answer, “because we can?”

We had our wedding reception at el rio our wedding reception started off PERFECT. Until it was time to clean up. Tiffany started accusing us of stealing a food warm (that she had placed in the kicken because we told her we only needed 3 and i paid for 4), accusing of stealing there water container that Amber put in the kitchen, and wedding signs. She was so rude and even jumped into the back of our truck looking "for the things we stole". She should of went around collecting her things before our event was over. I highly recommend not having any event here. Dont waste your time.or money.

Located in Laughlin, Nevada, Harrah's Laughlin offers delicious dining options and a wide variety of onsite amenities. The property also features a private beach and a casino. With rooms and suites featuring south-of-the-border decor, the hotel is perfect for any family vacation.
Our second home away from home.
Love this place.
The casino floor layout has changed a bit and the non smoking area has gotten smaller again.
So technically there is no longer a non smoking area with the other half of the old non smoking now a smoking area.
The room was nice and clean.

WOW the staff here makes our stays so pleasant. Dylan at the front desk has such a good attitude & has been super helpful every interaction we have with him. Andrew, Samantha, Anthony, Jeremy, Tammy & Dina at the bars have excellent customer service. They're so friendly & remember our drink order.
The staff at Beach Club & The Range always get our to go orders correct, I suggest the French Dip.
Some of the rooms could us an update but over all the rooms are clean. The gym is decent & the hot tub is open in the winter months. Location is a little removed from the main drag but a walk down the hill are the other casinos. The shuttle also runs to the Tropicana.
Free parking is another perk!!
The sunsets are beautiful, sometimes the mountains to the east turn pink during sunset. Very relaxing watching the birds hunting for fish in the clear blue water of the Colorado River.

You pay what you get for. Great if have a family on a budget. The elevators are horrible, it was take about 30 mins to get to your room from the casino floor. So be prepared especially if you have children. The hotel needs to put a security officer near the elevator. Tired and drunk people don’t mixed. We had to walk 10 floors of stairs to get to our room. Thank God I’m fit!

Okay so room is GREAT for the price but we got lucky there. Waiting for the elevator every night sucked. ****Loved loved loved that there was an adult only pool with bar. Drinks are pricey everywhere. Beach was amazing except 118 dollars a day for palapa and 2 sun lounge chairs. Totally worth it but paying for shade because it's 116 seemed excessive... waitress from beach bar earned her tips. She had a hard job!!! She was nice. Won at slots. Our room ran out of toilet paper. That was weird. Slept great. Beds were nice and black out curtains worked great. They are older rooms but okay for what they are. We enjoyed our time despite the little things.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this resort. We were just there for 4 days and had a great time. We stayed in the South Tower and our room was clean and cool. The staff was attentive the whole weekend. Cocktails were fast, maybe the ones complaining should try tipping occasionally. The adult pool was fine. The kid pool and the beach looked crazy so we didn't go there. The Range was a great experience. A little pricey but worth it.

The rooms are hideous!! 1989 style and shredded drapes! The finish was gone on the coffee tables.... Just take them out along with the drapes!! Very few cocktail waitresses and not many jackpots going on. The best part was the steakhouse. This place is out in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to travel. I'll probably go back but I won't stay the night.

I upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable and had an awesome view of the pool as well as the river. However they hadn't been updated since the 80s? The keys in the tub didn't work and the shower water took about ten minutes to warm up. At one point the water was turned off while my sister was brushing her teeth, with no warning. At least no one was soaped up in the shower! The restaurants were often closed or no one was at the counter. But I did have the best yoghurt parfait ever! The gambling was fun but no winner here! And the drink service was better than other casinos on the strip! The water taxi was only $5.00 and very convenient!

I am glad I booked with Harrah's and didn't listen to reviews. From the moment I checked in until check out I had the best time. I forgot the name of the front desk agent that helped me but she was a ray of sunshine. I got a room in the center tower with the river and pool view. The room was really clean and spotless, it's more than expected for an older hotel. The staff are really great and friendly. You will need reservations for their restaurants, just FYI, better make it ahead of time. Pool was open but it was freezing so I didn't get to utilize that. Overall, awesome experience!

Never had any real issues here except during one stay when a computer glitch put me in a different room but front desk fix it immediately.
Rooms in the North and Central tower are a little dated but comfortable to stay in. I always ask to stay in the south tower when possible cause the rooms are more modern and closer to the action down stairs.
They do have plenty of food options here which I like and I usually go with the Beach cafe as the prices are still reasonable during this weird year and food have always been a hit for me.
The Cocktail Servers are very nice and do bring drinks around in a timely manner. Only had one issue with one server that was standing and talking to another worker while her tray had drinks ready to be served. Beer was already warm when handed to me.
I do have some favorite servers and always try to sit in their section cause they always take care of me without issues.
overall I'll keep coming back and staying here for work cause staff are always friendly and I feel safe during my visits

We stayed a total of 4 nights. It was a sold out weekend so it was very busy. We stayed in the North tower which was awful!! For the entire tower, only 2 elevators were working. We were constantly waiting in long lines to get back into our room and even just to get down to the main floor was a nightmare. On top of that, our room keys “deactivated” 4 times. They said to be sure we weren’t keeping our key next to debit cards or electronics, and they still wouldn’t work.Imagine waiting in a 30 minute line just to get up to your room, only for your key not to work. Very frustrating. The staff were all very nice. I will never stay here again.

We always loved coming to Harrah's in Laughlin, but we hadn't been in several years. This time, we were really disappointed by the lack of amenities and lower quality of service. The valet (which used to be free) is now $10 a night...which isn't awful, compared to Vegas. The trouble was, the valet was marked "full" (when in reality it wasn't full at all, they just didn't have staff for it). I don't like being deceived in this way...I could clearly see that the valet wasn't full. The self parking garage is confusing to get to and isn't connected directly to the casino, meaning you have to walk a long way to get to the hotel. The parking garage elevators were slow or not working, so if we hadn't insisted on them taking our luggage out near the valet, we would have had to wrestle some large and awkward bags down stairs and all that distance. The self check in kiosks were not working, so so much for contact free check in.
The room itself looked very dated, with a giant wardrobe taking up valuable real estate. The air conditioning was cranked down to 60, but it was nearer to 75 and really humid in the room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work, even after reporting it several times to the front desk. Other guests reported the same thing on their floor. The whole hotel looks like it needs a serious makeover and rehab.
They have done away with the magnificent buffet they used to have, and the rest of the restaurant options are really nothing special. Decent food, but the only restaurant open for most of the day is the Cafe, and it's not spectacular. The Range Steakhouse was nice, but not worth the high price (except for the excellent service).
Gaming-wise, they have taken out a LOT of old, fun slot machines in the name of social distancing and replaced them with fewer ginormous, money-grubbing machines that are largely all the same. Very little playback to the customer on these, which doesn't make for a fun day of gaming. Many of the table games were closed during the day, and the ones that were open had too high of a minimum for the middle of the week. They used to have table games in the nonsmoking casino, but those are now gone and replaced with the ridiculous new slot machines, so if you want to play a table game in smoke-free comfort, you're out of luck.
We ended up spending more of our dollars at another casino this trip. I am hoping that when I return that at least some of the room problems will have been addressed (but I am not optimistic).
It's really a shame that this hotel has gone so downhill. Its sister property down the road was somewhat nicer with better service and food.

This is a casino, so it is what it is. They want your money and they will give you free drinks. As long as you were playing.. Booking in was very easy through my charter trip.. It is just that it is in the middle of nowhere and you have to take a ride to get anywhere.. Prices of course are outrageous for pops out of their little shops. They have 2 pools, one is a family pool. The other is the adult pool where they have the drinks. It was nice somewhat small, but if you were there early enough to get a chair, it was better. They provided the pool towels which were very big and thick.

Went to go celebrate 21 year anniversary with my husband. The room was dusty. It smelled musty like and old smell. Stains on carpet, ac didn't work has well. Only 2 elevators worked, the lines to get on elevator was long as if you are purchasing a lotto ticket. The elevator from the parking lot didn't work. Majority of the flooring was in such terrible condition. I'm surprised no one has hurt themselves. The stairs are not leveled. Terrible experience.

The hotel is in a great location and everything around looks beautiful and well kept. However, they need to freshen up their interior designs, it looks a little dated. I have been there several times in previous years, this time I found that they closed off the access to the beach at night time, and that used to be one of the best highlights of that hotel because they have a beautiful beach. It was so nice to sit at the shore of the river to have a drink or share a romantic moment. That was disappointing!
Daisy Hardiman — Google review
The hotel is at the end of the strip and looks great from the outside. 3 towers on the river front. It's not a straight drive to the hotel from the street. You will meander down the driveway. There are two parking garages and a small open lot. The valet was very helpful. I was "upgraded" to the center tower because one tower was closed for the season. The room was very dated. Carpet was dirty. Tub water barely drained. The sheer window curtain was shredded. The soft chair was shiny dirty. That's my best description, but definitely needed to be set out to pasture and burned. Two stars only because the valet was nice and helpful.

Rooms weren't as bright as they were in the pictures on their website. Not as clean as I thought it would have been as we found cigarette butts behind the TV and rappers underneath dressers, clearly visible. The floor was sticky in one area. Gaming was fun and the slots were a give and take. Room service was very very fast and efficient!!! I wish they would have more restaurants to choose from. The convenience store wasn't located at the top of the hill . Very inconvenient. There was an empty space where the convenience store must have been located previously in central tower. Doesn't seem cost-effective.

I will never set foot in a Ceasars property ever again. I was discriminated because I am Mexican American with a platinum rewards card (almost 💎. ) I earned this status in 3 weeks. First and only time I used the card to get a discount on a souvenir cup. Lady at the counter embarrassed me around other people. She accused me of trying to get a $3 discount that I didn't deserve because she said she didn't believe I had that kind of status. I showed her my card and ID. She was very rude and condescending. I walked out of there feeling like I was accused of robbing the place. It's sad that you have people like this working for you. I will spend my money and time at other casinos. Worst experience ever!

Did a bit of slot playing on Christmas Day before and after dinner at the Range Steakhouse. Not a good day for me on the slots watched other people play. Everyone was pleasant and in good moods. The Casino has a non smoking section, thank goodness! Smokers do have rights as well, I just find it hard to breathe in some casinos. The casino is clean and well managed! Masks are worn everywhere by everyone. I am on board with that! Mandated in Nevada. It was a great day.

Great get-away! We took the charter down and had a very enjoyable time. Our room was on 6th floor of the South Tower - The room had chaise lounge, table and chair and a king bed, coffee maker, mini fridge and it looked like it was recently updated, everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and the casino does have a non smoking section. The mattress was very firm but we adjusted. The is a shuttle that takes you to the Tropicana which is walking distance to the other casinos. The only negative was the lack of food choices and shopping. We will definitely go back!

Before I go down the road of why I think this is worthy of only one star, I want to sing praises to the bell staff, the valet team, the cocktail servers, and the front desk team who go above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. If these teams were in a facility that was, well, something more 21st century, the rating would be significantly higher.
We traveled through this area to stay one night and even that was too much. We booked two rooms and based on the photos of the website, we thought this could be a nice hotel and a fun spot on our road trip but we were quickly disappointed. The first of our two rooms was available at 4pm but the second room wasn’t ready until after 10pm.
Both rooms were in the north tower and they made a motor lodge on the Jersey Turnpike seem better. The carpet and walls look as if they were recently cleaned after a crime and the rooms felt dirty.
No dresser, no fridge, and only one chair made the room uncomfortable and quite awkward… again, nothing like it appears on their website.
For $59 a night, it would be acceptable, but not for over $200 a night.
Other challenges:
- 3 of the 5 elevators were out of service.
- Boat dock was destroyed so no water taxi to other casinos.
Given the amount of disrepair of this resort, it makes one wonder if Caesar himself lost a bet to put their name on.
Again, if this staff was at a better facility, they could put the competition out of business

This is a dump!!! Shame on Harrah’s, this is NOT a resort! Dog fee of 85.00 for a small dog is absurd, when room rate advertised at 30.00. The placed smelled, and everything is old and the stench of cigarettes is nauseating. Forget eating at the cafe. Waiter was rude and unhelpful. The beef dip sandwich was dry and tasteless. Pizza kiosk was closed as well as Starbucks. This place should be leveled. Would not go back if it was free.

Same story as everyone else. Have been here 10 times over the last 25 years and loved it. Checked in early last week for 3 nights. The first room had not been cleaned by housekeeping, the second room had filthy furniture and a broken table, and the third room had furniture missing and smelled like urine. Heard it was taking 40 minutes to get a filthy elevator ride in the north tower. We gave up after that and checked out. Were told we would be refunded within 3-4 days, but after 11, we have not been yet. Too bad, it was always the best place to stay, although we did have a nice place at Aquarius a couple of trips ago. Other than that, most of the places are mediocre at best. We did however, end up at the Golden Nugget this trip for one night, and it was okay. Looking forward to the AI response to this. Bottom line, Laughlin is a beautiful place, but the companies running the hotels are destroying it.

I love Harrah's and have been going there for a very long time. We were there a few weeks ago and I was shocked at how rundown the elevators and rooms have gotten. Our room was in pretty bad shape and we were in the central tower. Next time we go, we will stay in the south tower to get a renovated room. The curtains were torn in our room and the shower faucet was badly corroded. The bed was comfortable though. There were marks all over the walls and it still had that oversized wall unit from nearly 20 years ago. The elevators in the central tower were not in good shape and when you pressed a button, the entire section attached to the wall nearly came open. But like I said, I do love it here. The casino is good and The Beach Cafe is always wonderful. I just wish Caesar's would put some money into this place to return it fully to its former glory. We will be back - we will just try to avoid the dilapidated towers.

Changed 3 rooms checking in. Try not to be in center tower. Rooms are way out dated, stink, dirty, and the bathrooms are a big wow. Being in service industry i would be embarrassed. Male at front desk was amazing. It is a good thing I don't have 3rd degree burns from the shower that can't be controlled. I was on 2 different floors and same story in the entire tower.

So we received a free 4 day trip and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for!" The 29th we checked in and went up to our room in the central tower. Went in and noticed that the mattress looked and felt like it had been there since day one! The black out curtain had what looked like knife slits in it and there were cobwebs in the corners. Overall it just felt dirty. We went back down to the front desk and the lady there was very apologetic and gave us a room in the south tower. Aside from cobwebs on top of a couple lamp shades it was much nicer. Went to get a $4 soda from the vending machine and it ate my money and got nothing in return. Made me want to go down and play there slots!!! LOL Tuesday we rented a car to drive down to Vegas "never been there before" While we were up in our room getting ready and waiting for our rental without warning the fire alarm goes off! "the speaker was in our room" We went downstairs and asked security what was wrong and he told us they were testing the system but didn't know how long it would last. After about an hour it finally stopped. We went back up to our room to get ready for the day and was never so glad to leave! Had a great time in Vegas and got back to our room and to bed around 4am Wednesday. Got woke up around 8:30 Wednesday morning from a text telling us that the water was going to be shut off around 11 for a couple of hours. So much for sleeping in. We took our showers got in our rental and left to go elsewhere. Came back went to bed and got up Thursday morning and decided to pay for another day on the rental. Headed downstairs to get some donuts and coffee. While walking down the hallway talking about what we were going to do for the day and looking around except at the ground, my fiancee tripped and fell over a hose coming in from outside into Smash Burgers! NICE!! "The only thing hurt was her pride" The truck said septic service on the side so who knows?? We spent the remainder of our last short day patronizing the other casinos because we knew we had to get up at 3am to make sure we would be able to use the bathroom before leaving for our flight. The only positive thing to say is the staff at the hotel were very polite as were the employees for Sun Country!!! Thank you for the computer generated response! Considering that everything I stated could be verified, we expected a little more then your generic response considering what we went through!!

We have stayed here many times in years past.
But, haven't been here in about 15 years. I know Covid disrupted the hospitality business. But, this place has really gone down hill. Supposedly, we were in a renovated room...It was disgusting!
Bathroom floor was tiled with wall tiles! Extremely dangerous and extremely unsafe when wet(the person that did this was an idiot). The corners of the bed were torn up by a dog/housekeeping. The HVAC was loud, didn't appear to have a filter in place and looked alive with all the grey fuzzies on it. Looking out our window there were parts of the building/walls that had eroded away. Roof tiles were sliding off the roof. I'm just getting started here!!
Elevators in the garage and hotel are disgusting and show a lack of preventative maintenance and care.
I could go on and on! Some employees/workers appeared and acted overwhelmed/overworked.
I will never again book a room/multiple rooms at this place again.
Most importantly though, the bathroom is UNSAFE with the type of tile used on the floor.

Harrah's Laughlin seems to have lost some of its beauty inside over the last few years. Table games cost more than other places to play and they got rid of the non smoking table games all together. Lots of slots if that's your thing. I do like the Beach Cafe inside and the view from the outside patio. They have the only access to a beach (if you're staying here) and they keep the area clean. Water taxi will get you to other casinos. Rooms are okay. Arcade for kids (why would you bring them though?). Some snacky food places as well as a Guy Fiery's (sp?) place. It's only okay.

In room. There was No drinking water, microwave or safe in room. The vending machine has bottled water for $4! Needs renovation. The bed was super comfy with four pillows your choice of down or foam. Great river views. Not part of Riverwalk. Great value at 59$ a night mid week, with a 20$ resort fee. You have to drive or shuttle to the other casinos. I prefer something centrally located. But for $79 per night, it was worth it to me.

Nice enough little casino in a place that’s warmer than the Midwest. The gaming floor has limited table games. But, they have a fairly large slot section.
Rooms are pretty nice. The shower however is a really stupid design. It’s pretty much guaranteed to get waterall over the bathroom floor.
Mattress is comfortable. Good pillows also.
Above average gym facility for a hotel. Dumbbells up through 75lbs.

We got in very late and even though we said non-smoking room, our first room was smoking in the South tower. We went back to the front desk and got a non-smoking room in the North tower. The room was ok, but the shower wall was peeling.

Used our Caesar's rewards for the trip. Rooms were okay showing signs of their age. The casino had a nice variety of games. Also had a non smoking area. River taxis were not in operation because the river was too low.

Thursday 12/30 casino review. Not too crowded but the start of another holiday weekend. They had a craps table going so I thought it was a good sign. NOT. Regulation table but only one side was "open". Was told by one of the dealers I would have to squeeze in at the end between other players. Mind you, this is happening in Nevada where everyone is required to wear a mask inside. Guess the management at the Golden Nugget figures it doesn't matter how close people are if they're wearing masks. There were dealers just standing around other table games that had no customers so maybe they weren't trained for craps? Who knows. Not our (us customers) problem. Just won't play there since there are other options. One star because the employees were courteous and they just do what their management tells them to do.

I was looking forward to a nice get-away for Thanksgiving 2022. When I arrived, I did ask for an early check-in. The person checking me in stated she had a room, and it would cost $15 extra to check-in early. After driving 5 hours, I needed to change clothes and freshen-up a bit, so agreed. They put me on the first floor near the elevator. I walked in and the 50 years' worth of people smoking in the room (it's not considered smoke-free) hit me like a brick wall. The stale smoke smell was a bit overwhelming. I was shocked because I had read good reviews about the hotel online. I decided I was just a bit tired so freshened-up went out and enjoyed my day, walking the Riverfront, stopping at a number of casinos, and enjoying a great Thanksgiving meal at Claim Jumper.
I went back to the room around 8:30 to turn-in for the night. However, after lying down, the smoke smell got the best of me and I got to where it was difficult to breathe. Dogs were barking in other rooms. The A/C unit went from a smooth white sound hum to a clunk, clunk, clunk every 90 seconds or so. I finally knew I was in for a night of tossing and turning, and checked-out of the room at 9:30 PM because I was not able to sleep (and at that point, they didn't have any other rooms that I could try).
I definitely would not recommend this hotel - the casino is okay, but not the lodging.

The Golden Nugget shows its age a bit in the decor. The pillow top beds were the most comfortable of the places I stayed in the area. The casino is separate enough so as you do not have to walk through it and therefore most smoke smell is avoided. Claim Jumper has great food, and it was nice to have it available at our fingertips. Courtyard views are decent, although you can see into other rooms if their curtains are open.

The Golden Nugget is the smallest, yet most welcoming hotel on Casino Drive. The rooms were conveniently located closest to the lively casino, allowing for quick access to the vibrant gaming action. What's more impressive is the close proximity of the parking area, which makes it incredibly convenient compared to other casinos in the area. Despite its smaller size, the Golden Nugget exuded a friendly and cozy atmosphere, with attentive staff. It's a gem among the casinos on Casino Drive. PLUS they are pet friendly!

Casino was nice and fun. Room was clean, but the coolest the AC could could get the room was 79 (Late at night). Most of the room was about 85. Also shower faucets were clogged up w/calcium build up. The Resort facilities were really great....the river, the beach, the river taxi's, the restaurants, etc.

The casino itself was nice. The service was absolutely horrible. The only decent staff was the housekeeper, the check in staff and the lady in the boutique. We went to the pool, we were leaving at 10 and a janitor lady came by and told security we did not know how to read the signs. Incredibly racist towards people of the Latino community as if our money was different. We usually bring lots of family and rent 6 rooms plus for four nights every year but we’re switching. Don’t come here, the security will treat you like your existence is a threat. They even tackled someone on Saturday night. Not worth it anymore.

Always loved the food and atmosphere. Decided to stay there. Big mistake. Room was shabby. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor by the elevator. Then told us it was out, so we had to walk down a long hall to the other elevator and then back down the hall to the room. We assumed the elevator would be repaired that day. Found out later it's been down for 3 days. Still down 3 days later. Oh and the river view was a wall with the view down the right side.

The room was basic, no frills. The furniture and decore was dated and a bit worn, but the room was very clean. The worst part is the room is very noisy. Very thin walls so you can hear anything happening in the halls of neighboring rooms- conversations, the TV, etc. There was also music from outside until late in the night. The front desk service was fine and housekeeping was above average.
The casino was quite smoky. An old stale smelling smokiness everywhere. The kind that sticks to your clothes after you leave.
The whole property could use a renovation. It was cheap though. Free covered parking is a plus.

Golden Nugget I am surprised that you have good reviews. We checked in yesterday 2-25 on my birthday. We read reviews and thought it would be a nice place to stay. The room we booked is ok. Your staff in the hotel at the front desk and Casino players club however need some serious skills in working with people. You know smiling , saying welcome to the hotel, enjoy your stay and acting like it's not an inconvenience to help you. We traveled to other casinos down the way to play and places like the Aquarius were much much more friendly and inviting. But at the one we are staying the staff is very unfriendly.
If someone is paying to be in your establishment where they are spending $$ they shouldn't be treated like an an inconvenience by the people who work there. I never write reviews my experience prompted me to do so.

While I'm not a frequent visitor of the Nugget, I like the place. I go there mostly to play slot machines. And while it's great because I know I can still play some old-school slot machines, I feel like there has been minimal change in machines over the last few years. And while other casinos that are constantly changing is somewhat annoying, let's do a little something different Nugget.
But still the Nugget is decent, clean and usually friendly.

Let me just say right at the beginning that I will not go there again. The hotel is old and needs to have some renovation done. The bathroom door from inside the bath and the door frame looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The overflow in the sink was nasty and there weren't any cups for brushing your teeth. The bed was comfortable and clean but that was pretty much it. The windows were super dirty. I know, some of you think I am petty but I do remember other places less expensive much nicer and cleaner.

Having stayed at a number of other casinos in Laughlin that we were disappointed in, this was a pleasant surprise. It has fewer rooms and a more friendly atmosphere. Very clean, loved the intimate pool and spa area. Two great restaurants - though the food comes in massive portions for our appetites.

We didn't stay at the hotel this time. We went to Salt grass steak house for our anniversary and had delicious dinner and service was fantastic. The restaurant itself should be more spread out or made larger. We felt like we were having dinner with the couple next to us.
Jennifer Proffitt — Google review
The hotel is old and is in desperate need of renovation. Stained carpets, urine odor in pool hallway, elevator CLUNKS, and filthy carpet.
When we got to our rooms, one of the toilets was not flushing, and the heat was on when it was in the 90s outside. My wife went to the front desk and told the receptionist about the problems. The receptionist acted as if it was NOT a problem. My wife was firm that, yes, it was a problem. The hotel eventually sent up a maintenance worker. He fixed the problems and stated that the HVAC system in the hotel is from the 1960s and might take a while to cool the room down. It did in about an hour.
All that being said, the area in Laughlin, NV on the Colorado River with desert vistas is quite uniquely beautiful.

Very disappointed, rooms are old and dirty, pool is filthy can’t get in too many bugs! Why do they charge a resort fee, hardly a resort. H20 pool bar looks like it’s been closed for years, no beverages. Used to be. Y favorite. They gave really slipped. Plumbing needs upgrade as well! I won’t be back with these NO amenities

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. We were looking forward to playing roulette at the table but the employees were so unfriendly that we lost our desire to play. We had a quick look around at the tables to get in the mood for the evening and were asked for our IDs, which was completely fine, but the way how they spoke to us was rude. After we showed our IDs they looked at us like we were the biggest criminals (we are 29 and 23, so old enough). Unfortunately, we no longer felt like playing in this hotel.
In addition, a resort fee was charged at checkout even though it was already included in our travel price. I pointed this out to the hotel staff, they insisted on paying the fees again. After consulting with our tour operator, we were confirmed that the resort fees were included. Now they will be reimbursed by the travel agency. That was all very annoying for us.

Our room was fine nothing super exciting about it. It was clean and comfortable. The parking garage only accommodates vehicles under 6'8 so it was a little anxiety for us in a truck it fit but still lower than normal. The elevator was sketchy every time we got on I was not sure it would actually get us up or down. Next time I will book a ground floor room. Other than that it was overall a good place to stay.
Tonya Kummer — Google review
The keys to open the door failed multiple times. I'd get a new key, walk to the room, and it would fail, making me have to rekey it over and over. I assume it was a failure of the system, but it was a pain to deal with. And everyone in line with me was there for key issues. It was a hotel issue. The casino was good. The restaurants were pretty good. The dealers were good people, and the casino overall was better than most out there. The rooms were good but the air conditioner had issues in my room and my brothers room. We had to call maintenance to fix the issue for both rooms. But they were fast to respond and fix the issue.

Great place and the service in all areas was wonderful. Our waiter, Jeff, at the Claim Jumper was top notch. We looked forward to seeing him every morning. Israel, at Saltgrass Steak House was wonderful and we ended up eating at the bar several nights. The food was very good, as well. We signed up with Mary as our casino host and she was very helpful. Totally recommend this place.

The price for the room was right, but everything else (food) was expensive! No more small cafe's in these casinos, so if you just want a reasonable lunch or snack forget it. Our last trip until they get rid of the mask thing!!!

We ate at the Claim Jumper! Food was delicious and the service was really good. I had the bowl of black bean chili and shared the Asian salad with my sister. Plenty of warm bread served, all of us were stuffed when we left the restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

We came to the Nugget for the weekend and encouraged some friends to come with us. Our friends paid $562 for four nights however our bill was $1092.00 for the same type of room. We ask why our rate was so much more then our friends rate were and the explanation was room rates change. This hotel has really gone down in the last couple years. Can’t give hotel play because only a few tables are open. Played craps last night on a half a table. Air condition in our room didn’t work. Only one elevator works. Restaurants are closed early. Bars closed early. You’re better off going to Harrahs I know that’s what we will be doing next time. Thanks Mary!

Two stars just being hopeful that it gets better. Drive for 12 hours straight just to get here and get told I can’t check in because the room is in my husbands name and he’s not here yet. Decide to go to the bar and get a beer and 15 minutes later I’m still sitting here with an empty hand where a beer should be. So far not so good.

Great value and one of the best for being pet friendly. The air conditioning in our room was nearly non-existent. At 110 plus, it was refreshing to leave asap the next morning. The casino floor and lobby were ice cold, unlike their rooms. I can not imagine staying here again if given a choice. In the lobby, they have the largest gold nugget on earth at over 60 plus pounds. That is worth stopping for a look.

We were able to book a very affordable room for one night, as our travels from Las
Vegas to San Diego was detoured for a work event and we were far too tired to make the rest of the trek.
The pool, the cleanliness and great friendly service was so appreciated.
We were able to access the water taxi, which is one of my greatest memories. I've only seen those in movies. The convenience of the hotel, a short walk to all kinds of other venues was awesome

Good location and probably the nicest hotel in Laughlin. Beautiful downstairs and didn't smell too bad. Room could use updating and could have been cleaner: there were a few wrappers on the floor and some small mold spots on ceiling since bathroom doesn't have a fan. Decent size and comfy beds. The empty good-sized fridge and Keurig add value to the relatively high price we paid. Not the best parking situation but we just parked over at Pioneer since we were visiting our grandparents who stay at Pioneer.

Wife told me waste of time writing review because they don't care and that's the whole problem. Booked trip last year for a poolside room. Before we left on a three day drive verified reservation. Got there no poolside room told they didn't have any that was a lie because we were there with other people who got a room air-conditioning broke and they got switched to another available poolside room. And the whole time they were there no one was in the other room next to them. So we were lied to more than once. Six of us come there every year for eight years we will never come back again. Don't like being lied to.

The place has excellent service. They go out of their way to make sure you have what you want
The rooms are clean. But a few things, there's no vent in bathroom so it gets humid, there's no safe, and the first night I found a flea, but don't know where it came from. It's a old building. But so is laughlin. I had an excellent time and just love laughlin in general. Would recommend for a budget hotel!

Pros:
Room was clean and had basic amenities. The hotel is nice and well maintained. Pool and jacuzzi, although the pool is not really heated.
Cons
If you stay on the west tower, the resort music they play is very loud and can be heard in your room from about 9 am to 11 pm. Needed to use air conditioner to drown out.

We've been going to Laughlin for over 40 yrs and have stayed here multiple times. We booked our room online (as always) and were charged resort fees. When we checked in, they wanted to charge us again. When I indicated that we already paid, they asked for proof besides my receipt with the confirmation number (which I always print for this reason). They asked for a bank statement. I pulled it up on my phone. That satisfied them, and everything was good till we checked out. They actually charge us again! I said absolutely not. They credit us after some arguing. When I got home, they reversed the credit and charged my card!! I'm working with my bank now for a refund. Terrible service and shocking that they'd go this far for a few $'s. And resort fees! For what!? I was asked if I wanted my room clean and restocked when we checked in, I said yes. Nope, that didn't happen. I had to call at midnight when we came in to get towels and sheets and everything else we paid for. We were there for 3 nights! I will never gamble or stay here again!! Sad cuz we've always liked this place.

We've stayed here for more years than I can remember - until after this visit. We thought the poor service at the front desk last trip was a fluke but it was worse this time - our family's last time.
We arrived 30 minutes after check-in began asking for our requested 2 king rooms close to the elevator as one of our party uses a cane. With stupid excuses we were finally given a king and queen at the end if the hall.
One room had a broken lamp and an unsightly AC unit that could either be on or off, no auto, so the room was either extremely cold or hot.
Very loud music played throughout the almost empty hotel. The Saltgrass Grill was as good as usual but the casino games weren't even though they were new. The new games were boring so we didn't stay long. Where were the good games you had before?
Thankfully, we're only staying one night this time but it will definitely be our last.
Goodbye to our former favorite hotel. You've lost this family's business.

So I book online for a 2 night stay of 129.99 on Saturday and 69.99 on Sunday booking was limited so I took what I could get which was apparently “river view” rooms which you have to pay extra for of course but they don’t advertise nor tell you in person at all in case you were all wondering. An extra 20 bucks a night can’t beat it🙄
I get to my room and during the day I’m just miserable as can be. Profusely sweating with the window closed and curtain pulled shut and AC set to max COOL. Had to go sit in my car in the AC for a bit to catch a break. This place is trash go somewhere else unless you like discomfort at its finest.
Also elevators are shoddy at best when they are even in service.

There is plenty of parking, the property looked clean.
Check-in was uneventful. The room was clean, looking, and nice for the price. I didn't get a good view. The room had complementary coffee and water for two.
The casino is small and cozy. They have old and new gaming options.
There's a nice fountain at the entrance to the casino.
The Colorado Belle Casino Resort is a luxurious hotel situated on the banks of the Colorado River with casual dining and bars as well as pools and an arcade. It's perfect for those who love gambling and riverboat cruising.
The Staff were excellent. We arrived 11:00 pm Nevada time, 2:00 am my time. Was given a room I did not reserve. They corrected the problem by 10:00 am the following day. We spent our time at the Outlet Mall across the street and my son home in Kingman, AZ. We used the buffet in the other hotel, the food was good. We found the brewery and ate the most excellent food.

The friendly and courteous staff is the only reason for the 1 star. The hotel rooms are not clean and are in extreme need of updating. There were hair ties and other items on the floor so our room was obviously not even vacuumed. The carpet had a matted sticky feel to it - had to wear shoes. The entire hotel needs to renovated.

I was going to leave one star but they gave us a refund. The maid come in and put a bunch of our stuff in a bag along with an open pickle bag, spilled pickle juice all over and on our food and a hair tie. The pool was okay, the room kinda sucked but it’s only 16$. Worth the price you pay I guess. Much nicer hotels for only 6$ more tho. I don’t recommend but the staff were very helping. Front desk was always nice and very friendly.

The Belle had everything you could possibly want in a hotel/casino! Great staff, great slots & the bar in the back that went the whole length of the building was awesome!! Sadly though it’s closed permanently as it’s slowly sinking into the river. The city isn’t sure what they are going to do with the property yet but it’s a piece of Laughlin history now…..😭😭😭😭

Check in staff was nice. I knew I had to make a deposit for the room but got surprised with the resort fee needing to be paid up front. The room was tired but workable. The bed was way to hard for my liking and made it difficult to get comfortable. We had a 3 night stay. The first morning our housemaid just handed us a change of towels through the door. Ok..its not like the room was dirty, but the next day we went out expecting maid service and came back to find she only cleaned the bathroom. The bed was left unmade and the trashcans still full! That's just ridiculous. Not on my high lost of recommendations.

I would have given this hotel 1 star if not for the staff. Arrived at 10 pm and had to wait in line to check in for over an hour. Didn't really receive an apology for the long wait, but the woman who checked me in was pleasant enough. The room was pretty gross. The shower floor was dirty and could use a good scrubbing. The room needed a carpet cleaning and vacuuming. There was dust caked alongside the walls. I wouldn't stay here again and would advise others against it as well. I'm not sure how this place has so many great reviews. It wasn't cheap either since I paid $68 a night. Next time I'll definitely find a cleaner hotel.

This hotel is amazing! My first hotel I’ve ever been to. The room was old and the TV didn’t had that much channels. But it was super worth it! Also the smoothies next to the pool were super good! I slept very well, and the AC was turned on and it was super cold! But still, great hotel! Also if you’re looking forward to go at the river. Find a good spot! There’s a lot of people there, but I recommend not to go at the river in the morning, super windy, sand blows in my face. But I had a great experience at Colorado Belle! :D

It is an old style casino. It was nice to play on old slots. It was really fun. Many casinos have more new machines and they don't pay anything at all. I could play for long time and didn't loose anything. I actually came out ahead. Loved it. The only thing I was missing is the service. I was there for 2.5 hrs and did see anyone coming and asking for drinks. It could be better.

This place was awful. If you're not a smoker, do yourself a favor and stay on the other side of the river in AZ. The first room we got was for non-smoking and it was so bad we turned right back around and had to ask for another one. The staff was pretty gruff with us like it was our fault, but eventually we got a much cleaner room. Breakfast was pretty expensive and not that amazing for the price, but the waiter was really good. Kind of a bummer I can't give him a 5 star rating. The casino itself was okay and it was entertaining watching the raccoons dive into the trash cans out front, but that was about it.
The Steakhouse is a casino restaurant in a small town that tries to give its guests an enjoyable experience with good food and effort. While the food may not be exquisite, it is still satisfying. The price may seem high, but it is worth it for what you receive.
The service here was awesome. The strawberry and red wine Spitzer and the peach and champagne Spitzer were really delicious! The pineapple one paled in comparison. I'm not a huge fan of basil and wasn't aware how much that would be used when cooking the filet mignon I ordered. The baked potato was under baked and the bite I did have seemed a bit dry, although it might just be because i dislike basil. The key lime tart was absolutely perfect. Fresh and slightly sweet. Very rich and yet fluffy. I would go again just for the service, the buffalo wontons, dessert or the spritzer. The salad was also quite good! I'm hoping to be able to make this a 5 star review next time, when I try something new.

It’s a casino restaurant in a small town, so it obviously won’t be the most exquisite experience that exists. That being said, the staff do certainly give a significant effort and aim to please the crowd. Regarding the actual food, it is good with a solid level of effort placed. I had the sea bass, which by itself was nothing special, but mixed well with the relish and mint. As such, it seemed a little expensive for what was received, but I was still satisfied. I didn’t like that you were essentially forced a potato on you (and the mashed potatoes aren’t anything to write home about). This place does give you a solid taste of what fine dining can be like, but you can surely get an even better fine dining experience elsewhere that better matches the high price that you are paying

The food was ok definitely not worth the money, it was kind of bland. My real problem was the manager, Linda. We had a party of 6 and all of our food came out luke warm almost cold. We were paying with 4 separate checks. When one person in the party complained about all our food she was very unprofessional and seemed to not care. After he said he would contact his hostess from the hotel she then stormed off and ended up only taking $50 off his bill. As for the rest of us she didn't even apologize. I'm not trying to get a free meal but an apology would have been nice. She was very unprofessional and as a a GM myself I would NEVER handle a situation like the way she did. She just came up with excuse after excuse. I suggest getting another manager. I'm very disappointed and will make sure that I let everyone I know not to eat there. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the waiter, he was apologetic for the food and her behavior.

The Edgewater Hotel & Casino Resort is a budget-friendly establishment that offers comfortable accommodations and great amenities, including an arcade, nightclub, outdoor pool, spa and gym. Although the wait to check in was long one person finally arrived later, it was reportedly difficult for a young woman traveling with her daughter to find a reservation. Elevators have been reported as being in poor condition and guests should be careful before making a decision about staying here.
I liked the casino a lot, even more than the Aquarius. Very clean, very spacious, nice bars overlooking the River, better atmosphere, just liked the overall layout. The machines layout are spaced out better than the Aquarius. Drink service was excellent. Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay over here, but for me the casino was lucky and really worth the trip. Video poker is about average. The food options here are really excellent, they have a PT's Express inside.

The view from our room, so you can see it is right on the river. Large room with large bathroom. Old and outdated to be sure. Rooms are not cleaned daily. No sort of help from about sights in the area. All staff we did work with were super friendly. Burger place is pretty good. We just needed a place for a couple of nights as a resting point for visiting the grand canyon. More than met the need. Good price. But no extras and not new and shiny if that's what you want. The day didn't start out as expected but it was handled quickly by the front desk. I checked in expected the king size bed as reserved but was told there weren't any so was given two queen beds instead. I was told the room was non smoking but when I got to the room it smelled of heavy smoke. I immediately called the front desk and was quickly switched to another room. The next room was fresh and you could smell how clean it was which made me happy and no further complaints. The first room was very dirty, no tissues, dirty mirror, television, dusty furniture, and bathroom. Not sure who was supposed to clean this room but they clearly didn't do anything in the room. The second room was perfect and was a huge difference. The first five photos are the first room and the lat 3 are of the second room.

Rooms have been much improved as well as the entire casino. It looks good and is a reasonable rate for a week. Drawbacks are that you have to pay $10 extra daily for a refrigerator in your room and I bring my own food because their restaurants are insanely overpriced. Still a good place to stay.

Rooms were nice but what hotel doesn't have or allow microwaves? I understand making customers pay extra for a refrigerator, but common at least have decent size refrigerators. I mean, you guys are making enough money and you are in the middle of no where in the dang heat! Be a bit accommodating to your Customers especially if you want them to enjoy their stay and come back. Also room service should happen automatically, we (the Customers) shouldn't have to call daily to have our rooms cleaned and keep calling to get more towels. When you have 4 or more people staying in a room, you should automatically know that means 4 or more towels are needed. Not 2. Common Edgewater, quit being cheap and do better! Make sure they bring you a, "Do Not Disturb" sign as most rooms don't have any and room service like to come in unannounced in the morning without knocking or anything. Weird right? . Especially when they aren't cleaning or anything. Hmmm???

We've been going to Edgewater Casino since early 1990s. It really needs some updating. The beds are really low to floor and hard. I think the carpet in the casino has been the same since going. Shower flooring could be better for non slip. No shower mat provided. We asked for, paid for, and received a room with a view of the water. The view was nothing write about, I guess done that, once is enough, lol.

Everything was as expected. I would have liked to have a refrigerator because we could not finish all of our left overs from Capriotti's and they went bad. Other than that it was a great experience with my Mom & Hubs. We went to a comedy show there. Went outside and had nice walk next to the river. Went to Denny's that's on the top floor. My Mom was so impressed with the pink box donuts. She has not stopped talking about them. Pool was big and nice. The towels are big. It is not heated and it was windy so we didn't stay long. The pool bar/food thing was closed but I ordered drinks inside instead. I thought we couldn't bring our own drinks down so we didn't. Others had their own drinks so I was confused. It did have a sign that says while the pool bar is open can't bring drinks but we were unaware of it being closed and why. Room was big. Had no problems with that. We had just headed to Laughlin from Vegas. It was a nice change of pace. A lot more older folk but it was nice to not see so many half naked younger folks here. The have a gift shop/store inside which was very convenient and bought things we needed like ibuprofen but also souvenirs. There is a dispensary across the street which was very nice. The gas at Sam's club was so low we couldn't believe it. It was $3.81 at the time.

I'm honest. I don't want a thing from this hotel nor did I yesterday. My 1st time experiencing drug stuff. We walked into our room, & 1st thing we noticed & we were so excited there was a sliding glass door opened with the wind blowing. We had a lil balcony. We were out there all happy turned around that's when we seen the crack pipe and a baggie. It was a bit upsetting. The hotel said we'll give you a "free upgrade" to a river view. I asked what the charge was I noticed when checking out. Originally we were offered an "upgraded" room there was a $21 charge. Just happened to be the exact amount of money that when checking out they called it a "resort fee". Anyway, the room wasn't great, the bedding wasn't great, the "Upgraded room" wasn't great!
Just not great!

Rooms are okay The TV only has like 30 channels Mostly news and sports No refrigerators or microwave If you want Pink box Go there when they first open otherwise they're out of most of donuts A couple hours later And they close it like 7 Same thing with Capriotti's A sandwich shop that closes it about 8 o'clock or so They're store prices Are $5 for a Pepsi After 7 o'clock the place seems to almost shut down For all the shops and businesses People were real nice though And it was a lot of fun

So many great things to say. Room was good. Staff was great. Food was amazing. The only thing that needs more work is the elevators. Dirty. Small. Very loud. And down right frightening. Please upgrade them. Everything else was amazing. We had a wonderful time.

We're often invited to this place via comped rooms so with that in mind, I enjoy this place thoroughly.....great service, clean rooms, casino is clean and there's always a presence of staff maintaining the casino (sanitation, cocktail waitresses, and security). Great place, with great food options and with the river walk, you can walk to other casinos. Thumbs up. We'll be there again soon.

Came for a concert Hall and Oates. Was windy as hell but the concert was still on. Had transportation to and from the concert. Rooms were ok just somewhere to lay our heads at night. Ate at a sandwich shop in the hotel was the greatest sandwich I ever ate. Partied at the bar with Selena our bartender. She was very nice. The service was very good from housekeeping, to the bellhop. Had no complaints and we'll be back

The casino just lacks energy & excitement. My wife and I don't like the variety of slots they offer, we tend to find the games that we do like at a couple of the other casinos. We haven't stayed in the hotel for a longtime because we didn't care for it when we did stay there. If you're looking for that fun casino vibe with a lot of energy and a good selection of new and classic games, this probably isn't the place.

We loved the room and slept like babies on our queen size beds. We enjoyed gambling. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. The music in the casino was very enjoyable. We saw and heard many people singing and dancing along including us.

We went here to play some slots. We had a blast!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole place was really clean. We definitely will be coming back. We didn't get a room so I can't speak on that.

The only good things about this place were the people and the pool. Only half the elevators worked and the other half sounded as if they needed maintenance badly. The rooms were not very clean and no extra outlets for device chargers. A/C just barely kept up. Thankfully, check-in was easy and the front staff were always helpful and friendly. The pool was nice and clean.

Some Friends & I went to the Pink Box, wow, their donuts are big, and look delicious! They don't offer gluten free so I couldn't try them. My Friends said the donuts looked great too. Should've taken pictures of the donuts, but I forgot, was a very hot day. Next time!

First I’ll start by saying you get what you pay for, paid for a different room was told it was fully booked ,”booking online gets you a guarantee room but not the one you pick.Coming in the room was dirty bathroom had a nice gift inside the toilet, bottle caps on the floor counters full of dust flickering light.
Told multiple times walking to restaurants or out with my kid told to get out or keep moving because he is not 21 they can get a $10,000 rude too zero customer service there’s ways to go about it seemed like they really don’t want kids inside at all to the point where they should turn it into an adult only resort see how that goes for them .

The rooms at this hotel are older. It's mainly just for sleeping. Beds are way too soft for us.
Housekeeping was a little disappointing. All I asked for was a towel refresh. We were on our way out for an appt. I was told that our room was not scheduled to be cleaned, which I didn't ask for. I was hoping for new towels when we came back to our room that evening, we weren't that lucky. That was disappointing.

Everything but the rooms and front desk service is great. The rooms were dirty and not properly cleaned. Not to mention used lotion and shampoo left for us from the housekeeping staff. This hotel has potential if they get housekeeping staff that cares about cleanliness of rooms and not just the casino floor.

Hotel room for its age and the property was surprisingly well maintained, clean and enjoyed the Keurig. Lost in the casino but had a great time so many new wonderful gambling machines. Did not have a change to try any dining but gift shop stays open very late!

The place is nice enough. There are food options inside the bldg. Although the service in those food places is so so very slow. Even when they aren't busy. 🤷♀️
As far as the hotel, there is a temp control in the room so I could have it comfortable for me but the beds are awful! The 2 in my room were so stiff they felt like metal boxes! I didn't sleep very well at all. The sheets were clean and the beds made and I had fresh towels each day so the maid service was fantastic. The beds just really suck. Also there is no fridge in the room. I know I don't really need one but I like cold drinks sometimes without having to leave my room.
The pool was nice and a good temperature. My teenagers had a good time there.

There were ants in our room! We then had to pack all our stuff back up and go back down to the front desk to change keys. Once we got into our new room security came knocking at our door had to come in our room and ask us all to write statements plus take pictures of our IDs and of us individually like we had just witnessed a crime. This whole situation made us feel very uncomfortable!! The next day we were hoping to be offered somewhat of a discount or at least an apology but they declined to give us any discount or an apology and said they did what they could by switching us rooms. I have pictures of all the ants as well!

I stayed at the Edgewater during a concert and when I arrived everything simply went wrong. The people at the front desk were not attentive or welcoming. I got the key card to the room which was very dirty, disgusting and outdated. I walked in and it smelled damp and dusty, so it has not been cleaned for a long time. The bathtub was dirty, sink had hair in it and dust everywhere. I did not want to even sit down or lay down not knowing what I may end up catching. I then called the front desk and spoke to a female supervisor named "Jessie". She was rude the first few seconds into our conversation. She said someone could come clean it, but it will take awhile because they are extremely busy. I said how about a different room and she said there would be a fee to change rooms. I said this is unacceptable and she then raised her voice and threatened me with security. She did not want to hear my complaint, so I cleaned the room myself and thought, I will never stay here again. The next morning I checked out of the motel and "Jessie" was the one who took my key and was very rude when we opened the discussion back up. She became angry and I would imagine many hotel guests called with similar complaints. She never apologized and just stayed angry and upset because of my complaint. As I was walking away she mumbled a racial slur under her voice and I turned around and looked at her. She then said in a nasty voice have a great day. I am not sure Edgewater would condone such behavior, but I want to let the people know if you stay here, be prepared for possibly the worst. I will not return to the Edhewater because I am not paying money to stay somewhere such as a place like this to be humiliated and treated in such a way their supervisor did me. I hope this helps future guests, please beware, thank you.

The waitresses in the casino were excellent. Some of the blackjack dealers were pleasant. The slot machines were in good condition
Did win some but gave it all back. The front desk was very friendly and helpful
The rooms were clean. The smash burger restaurant was extremely busy and rude. I don't think I will go there again

Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino is a casino resort located on the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. The hotel features a bowling alley and an antique car museum as well as numerous shops and nightlife options. All rooms feature a TV, en suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily at the 24-hour restaurant on site.
I loved my stay here! While I was there, these two gentlemen that worked at the car show in the casino (their names are Delbert and Frank) were so kind and informative. They told me so much about the history behind slot machines and I had such a great experience. I'd recommend visiting this casino for any trip and definitely stop by the car show on the first floor. There is also a second show that I paid to see. It's 5 bucks and I really enjoyed it as well.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel to stay but the amenities around were very fun! I enjoyed the arcade with the family all though some staff could be rude it was a good stay overall, Best thing I could recommend about the room was the bathroom besides the fact the shower made a weird sound when we would use it. The rooms were clean too although we were missing blankets. Also, the doors for the room don't close all the way which isn't the best either. The food in this place is great as well just too over-priced.I would say stay somewhere else but go into the casino and enjoy other things around!

Had a great room, clean with a great view. Had a good lunch at the restaurant. Service is pretty good except for after 11:30 p.m. all their food places were closed except for The sidewalk Cafe. There were at least 15 to 20 people in line as it's the only place open. They had two people working. After about 25 minutes in line with still three groups ahead of me I realized that one of the people working it was making salads and sandwiches for the next day instead of helping the big line of people that were waiting forever. Absolutely freaking stupid..

Parking and check-in was easy on my visit. The room was clean and ample with comfortable beds. You can catch a movie there at their movie theater or go bowling like I did. They have 2 Classic Car Museums (the one outside by the street is free admission and has photo-worthy vehicles and slot machines). If you're lucky, you can even catch a good show at Don's Celebrity Theater. Lucky me saw Adbacadabra, the Abba Tribute band there. Overall, pleased with my short stay.

Biggest issue with the North Tower room, was the terrible WiFi. Incredibly slow when it was working, which was rarely. We had stayed in the South Tower previously and didn't have these issues.
But the older North Tower room thankfully, had been updated and was good, other than no microwave.
The Resort has so many amenities and things to do. The breakfast/brunch buffet was great. The movie theater has a great sound system, electric recliners and they show recent films. Most service personnel were great.

It was a good enough Hotel/Casino..
however, the ventilation system is terrible.
Smoking indoors at a casino is normal in certain parts… but the whole place was a huge ashtray. We went to the Sagittarius casino next door… The air was so fresh!!
Also, the Room we had was Non Smoking… yet every night and morning you could smell cigarettes and Marijuana.
Lastly, clean the (sliding) doors properly.
Three rooms during our stay had disgusting windows/doors

Didn't even spend a full day there , we didn't realize that the casino was going to be full of smoke! We couldn't even enjoy standing around with the family because we were told gift shops are the only spot kids (18 and 14) were not allowed in the area while we were trying to get our players cards !! My husband stayed to get the card and I took my kids to the gift shop where I was told a closed water bottle was not allowed in there and I needed to leave the gift shop, and my daughter stayed with my niece (19) to look around and said the lady who told me to leave was drinking from a water bottle after I had left!! We were under the impression this was family friendly place with a bowling alley and movie theater which we found out were all closed by 8pm and only allowed 21 and up, so if my kids who are all older wanted to go alone weren't allowed without my husband or I with them. Just not a good experience at all. But If you like cigarette smoke and not being able to breathe then this is the place for you!!

The Casino is absolutely lovely. We gambled and drank here. The South Tower Bar is absolutely amazing I suggest getting "The Yard" with tequila and strawberry margarita slush. It's absolutely delicious. The bartender was an absolute gentleman and super helpful and kind. The South Tower Bar unfortunately closes at 1:30AM though!! Have no reviews about the rooms. We stayed at one of the other Casinos(Aquarius) we would definitely like to try staying here next time to be closer to that bar🤣 I'd rate the Bar 5Stars but only rating 4 because I didn't actually stay in the rooms.

I am currently visiting, and it's been a fantastic experience so far. The movie theater, arcade, bowling, and other activities make it possible to also bring the kids and keep them busy while the adults have a good time as well. So far it is very nice. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. Since checking in to the hotel, we have been treated very well. I'm impressed.

I really like the location and attractions of the resort. It's awesome to be right on the river. I did not like that we had to pay an extra $50 per night for our little poodle, and forced to stay in a smoking room because of it. They only allow pets in smoking rooms. The room had a lot of bugs in it too. I don't know what bed bugs look like, but there were a lot of little bugs all around. I will post a picture of the bugs in my bed. We stayed 3 nights and I don't have any bites so probably not bed bugs. I like the older retro charm of the resort, but I felt the service from staff was often times smug. There were a few black jack dealers who were great but others who had zero personality. Also I thought it was in poor taste for the pit bosses to discipline/discuss drama with the dealers in front of patrons. The elevators were gross. It seems like an easy thing to keep clean or remodel but they are gross and smelly. The adult pool was great. In general I would consider staying again but I wouldnt go out of my way to do so.

Great car museum with several unique cars. I appreciate the effort it takes to maintain and display these works of automotive art. The gift shop had a lot of cool automobilia at affordable price ranges too. A short hour and a half drive from Henderson, making it a perfect day trip. There is a second smaller collection displayed downstairs. Free admission with their Players Club card.

We arrived Sunday so registration was quick. Bell boy came up w/n 30 min! So far so good. Rooms are spacious (a single inflatable mattress is great 😊 for those fam of 5). Bring cash in small bills. You’ll need to tip bell boy and valet guys. No fee to valet you only tip them.
This casino has a movie theater, outdoor pool and arcade area. PERFECT
Bring an ice chest and drinks so you can take to the river with you. We drive over to Arizona (15min) to get pizzas, chicken salads or other fast foods to take back to the river for a day of fun, eat and drink. Brink your beach chairs, sunblock and rash guards!

This review is only of the theaters at Riverside. Went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 there and was very pleased with the whole experience.
From purchasing tickets, only $7.50 for 55+, to a good variety of snacks and drinks including a full bar, the prices were very reasonable and the staff helpful and friendly.
The theater itself is spacious and the reclining seats very comfortable.
I will absolutely be back for another movie. Great popcorn too!

However, besides this minor issue, the folks are super nice and a very nice maintenance technician was very kind and helpful when I asked what was upstairs a a he took us on a tour of the casino. Nothing fancy about this average hotel with casino on ground level, you’d have to walk through the smoke-filled casino to get to the elevator. Our room was decent size. Bathroom was not well-stocked with the usual shampoo/conditioner or body wash, the vent was covered in dust. The place was good for a one night stay after a long drive from Grand Canyon, but would not go back…

I'm visiting from Phoenix and staying here at the Riverside Resort. This is the second time I've been here, and it's been great. Love the atmosphere, service, amenities, and food. The staff was friendly and professional. Always was greeted with a smile. We ate the Riverside Buffet, which was great. But be sure to get there early for the line gets long. We watched an early screening of Mission Impossible. The seat was a recliner and comfortable. Played bingo 7pm games, which lasted about 2 hours. There was also a car museum, laser tag, arcade, and bowling. I heard there was a gym but didn't find it. The only complaint i have is that there is no breakfast served here and I had to leave the resort to find some. Which I found a gem. Will came back again.

I can't give a true rating on room's, because we've never stood here. But we do come for the car showroom all the time. No matter how many times we've been here to see the car showroom it never gets old. Its a very good take on classic cars. We did however eat at the Denny's and it was delicious, the food was all cooked very good and tasty; the service was really good and nice. It was like everyone in there was truly happy to have a job and were proud to work. You can't get better service than that.

Stayed at Don Laughlins for my Birthday August 19, 2023. We had been wanting to stay there because we enjoy the amenities of the hotel. We rented an executive suite through a travel site and were happy with the price. Upon checking in we go to our suite and the bed is unmade, empty beer bottles, and charger plugged in. Upon talking to the house keeper she assured us she just cleaned the room and someone must of snuck in the room and used the suite. Talked to the manager and she apologized and gave us a food voucher. We move to the next room and settling in and housekeeping knocks and simultaneously walks in luckily my wife had just used the restroom and was decent. Yes we should of had door locked but we didn't. we talked to the manager again and told her the problem apologized housekeeping had the wrong room they should of went to 1587 we were in 1597. So we go to losers lounge have a good time and come in and the door way was not flooded but had a standing water and was getting more from the air conditioner vent. Maintenance comes in and we hear him say this is going to be a nightmare. we waited for a while they did their thing and were done no other problems. for one night stay and my birthday this was huge a huge disappointment. we will never stay there again, but we did enjoy losers lounge.

The last two times at this resort the ventilation throughout the facility was terrible. The casino floor was a smoke filled facility. It reminded me of years gone by when smoking was not a concern for your health. They really need an improvement in place for this. Otherwise we were satisfied with our stay.

Buffet was terrible. Roast beef was tough, meatloaf was like a beef patty. Everything "Hot" was cold. Apple pie? I don't think there was 1/2 cup of apples in the whole pie. This place is old! We paid for their Executive Room, which had no hot water for the whole 3 day stay. There were not any waitresses on the floor or even behind the bar. So much smoke that you can not breath. Slots were very tight. No fun, huge disappointment. Will not ever stay here again.

My wife and I spent two days at the casino. The room was old but nice. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The only issue we encountered was that a full ashtray an empty beer bottle that was used as an ashtray and an empty Red Bull can were left on the balcony. Those items remained out there for the duration of our stay. I’m not sure if the balcony is on their cleaning schedule, but it should be. Sadly this hotel now allows marijuana to be smoked in the hotel rooms. To each their own, however, the smell makes my wife and I nauseous just getting from the elevator to our room. The bell desk and valet were kind and courteous in bringing our luggage to our room and bringing it down to the car and retrieving the car at our departure.

Casino is a smoke pit, the non-smoking area is still smokey, and if you want to play roulette or craps you have to stand in the smoke pit. Really poor ventilation. For the money this place must generate, they should upgrade their ventilation systems.
Rooms in south tower stunk of smoke in bathrooms and hallway.
Left the hotel after 3 days with clothes stenching of smoke.
Never had these issues in Vegas!
Nice pool but too small and overflowing with guests.
Fix the parking lot- needs resurfacing! Guests have to walk all their luggage through the giant parking lot because their is no drop off spot out front, but the parking lot is bumpy and decaying.
Next time I'll find a nicer place to stay that doesn't stink!

Truly a 3-star hotel. We stayed in Executive Suite - the most expensive room in this hotel. The room itself is pretty big but that’s the only thing that is good. Everything in the room is very outdated. Air vents are dirty and looks like there is mold on them. Bottom part of the furniture has a thick layer of dust. Every morning we got a back pain from the mattress and rock hard pillows. Couldn’t sleep half of the night. The sound insulation between the room is very poor. Every morning at 6am I could hear our neighbors talk in their room. Room has a balcony that has no chairs to sit on - useless. For 2 people we got 1 small soap bar and 1 small body lotion tube. No shampoo and no toothpaste. That’s in Executive Suite, rates are double compare to a regular room.
I gave it a 3 star and not 1 star because I realize it’s a 3-Star hotel and I can’t expect a 5 star service. But with few minor improvements they can make this hotel so much better.

A car museum like no other. This is the place to be if you enjoy looking at antique cars. The large collection of these vehicles is unbeatable given how rare some of them are. Entrance admission at the museum is free for anyone under the age of 18, and adults (18+) if they have a player's card. Otherwise, it is only three dollars per adult. Reservations are not needed, as staff work very quickly to get people in. The museum is quite large and takes about half an hour to an hour to see all the cars they have on display. Overall, highly recommend visiting.

Love this place. I visit every time I go back to Laughlin and I always try to stay at the Riverside - it’s the OG spot for sure. Sometimes the cars change, but a lot of the old ones are still there. My fav is always the Delorean (pictured), and I think the family of Don Laughlin (RIP) has done a good job keeping this place looking nice. I have so many memories of my parents taking me there in the 1980s. Love this place.

Great place to spend some time and take a few trips down memory lane. Many memorials and shadow boxes celebrating places and organizations from around the world. Kids are free and it's only $3 for adult admission.

There are two separate car exhibits at this casino. May the odds be ever in your favor if you’re meeting up there. Both are 5 star so you won’t be disappointed. The gift shops fun with lots of options. There are lots to look at besides the cars if the cars are not your favorite. It’s definitely a well rounded place. Well organized, clean bathrooms in the gift shop area, quiet area, friendly staff. It’s a nice place for a date or just to get away from the casino crowd for a bit. Reasonable cost, no line, amazing collection!
The Colorado River Heritage Greenway Park & Trails provides a magnificent opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while learning about its fascinating history. There are a variety of trails that offer hikers a variety of experiences, and each is rich with stories about the land and its people.
We stopped by the park for a short walk. It's a very nice park by the river. The water is crystal clear! Beautiful for walk, picnic and of course water sports fun!

Really awesome trail! Did the whole thing in a loop this morning. I was disappointed to discover a homeless encampment near the picnic shelters on the river on the west side as I was exploring with my dog. Not exactly ideal near kids playground and picnic shelters. The trail through the city side and over the bridge isn't very fun, if I were to do it again I might just do it in reverse back instead of going through the traffic side.

What a wonderful park and trail system for local residents and tourists alike! We visited the area twice yesterday. We drove down near the dam and walked up to the dam itself and down along the River. There is a great playground and easy river access. Later in the day I walked our energetic German Shepherd up the Davis Dam Overlook trail from Davis Campground for a nice 4 mile hike. There are a number of trails with different access points, water and restroom facilities. Each of the trailhead/parking lots appears to have an onsite host/employee residing in an RV. The trails are well maintained and marked. There are story boards explaining the trail system, history, the river and the dam. Her are also large maps of the trail system in numerous locations along the route.

Beautiful trails that take you through the AZ/NV desert! After hiking the trails my personal favorite was the Desert Trail while my least favorite was the High Desert Trail. The former is the longest of the trails, but I find the hike very peaceful. The latter is missing proper signage and can be mistaken for other unmarked trails. For beginners or those with fur friends the Riverwalk trail, Davis Dam Trail, and Davis Camp Trail are paved. ☺️

Stopped by the South Beach on a Monday afternoon, it was empty, all areas looked clean and well taken care of/maintained. The water was ice cold and felt very peaceful since no one was around. Completely open parking space - we are definitely coming back!

Great easy trail. An out and back trail along the river. Nice views. Well maintained. Parking lot has restrooms and water. Water available along the trail. Even pet water fountains. Numerous shelters for lunch/picnics or just hanging.

This was a great walk
About a 2 mile walk to the park directly across from the dam. Flat paved path asking the river as well as a dirt/gravel path for horses.
Restrooms at both ends and water fountains and covered shade areas every mile or less.
People fishing, walking, swimming, and enjoying the views.
