In addition to bison, other animals on the ranch include horses, chickens, cows and ostriches. The gift shop offers unique souvenirs for purchase.
Amazing experience! Bison train tour was awesome. You get to feed the bison (while on the train of course, it's too dangerous to get off) and take as many pictures/videos you want. The tour guide is very friendly and informative. They have other animals you can check out as well like horses, chickens, cows and ostriches. The gift shop also has a ton of cool gifts. I definitely recommend going here. Just be sure to check the train tour times because they have specific times where it departs. No reservations and you buy tickets at the trading post.

This place is amazing!!! The train ride tour was absolutely awesome!! Our conductor Conner was great and fun! We got to feed, pet, and kiss some bison. The crew at the gift shop were sweet and nice. The staff at the restaurant were great too. Overall we had a great time and for sure will be back!

We stayed for one night in the RV park. The sites could use some TLC. The train ride to feed the bison was such a neat experience. The train conductor was great and kept my kids laughing. I believe his name was Jonathan. The restaurant was fantastic. Service and bison steak was great. Highly recommend for a unique camping experience.

Called and reserved with a really sweet lady on the phone and confirmed that we could use our Passport America discount. At first she said she didn’t think we could because of Frontier days. I asked if she could check for me so I waited and she came back and said actually you can it’s not in the blackout date today which is Sunday. I even asked again that they would honor the price of 28.00 and she said yes. Again she was very sweet and we even talked about our dogs. We arrived at probably at 3:45 today and the lady tells me my total of 70 something dollars. I said what happens to the 28.00? She said that’s our price because of Frontier Days. I proceeded to tell her my conversation with the girl I talked to and she said I don’t know but that’s our price. I told her all we do is travel so I plan these things out and keeps notes. She refused to honor what I was told. I asked to talk to the the girl who made the reservation but she was off. We canceled the reservation. She wasn’t rude but to not honor what I was told and obviously couldn’t make up, she should have honored it. And this is our first experience with Wyoming. Hopefully we get people true to their word. Now we go look for some more honest people…….

We stayed at Terry Bison for 3 nights in our R.V. Meal and service at the steakhouse was very good! Location was so close to Cheyenne.. loved it! Read some reviews about animal care etc. I was raised on a farm and I know animals. All the talk about the animals and dirty pens are ABSOLUTELY false! These animals are well taking care of! They have plenty of space in their paddocks and are clean! The pigs are fat and happy !! We did not take the train ride to see buffalo but did see many buffalo. Place could use. Some TLC but is not dilapidated and I would return again!

The enclosed war train is great during the cold and windy times.
My wife loves horses/animals, and being able to see and love on them is her vise.
Ranch hands on every visit seem educated and willing to talk. They even brought one or two animals over that were being a little shy.
Great place for kids to see animals and learn about history! Highly recommended for all ages.

We came for a train ride to feed the Bison and for a family day out. Chris was the best conductor, kept us smiling and laughing the whole ride. He was very knowledgeable about both the ranch, the bison and about Wyoming. We had a blast- a very unique experience that all of my kids enjoyed! We will definitely tell people to come visit- and we will visit again- next time in summer! We ate lunch in the steakhouse and were very impressed with the friendly service and amazing food. This place is fantastic! A daimond in the rough!

Thank you to all at the ranch for making our visit so memorable. Our guide was fabulous. We were not aware of how vast the ranch is - going into Colorado and all. Meeting Gene the Bison with a 15" tongue was outstanding! The rest of the herd was equally awesome. Getting to feed Bison and get up close and personal was such a thrill on our fun meter. We are so proud of this Ranch for purifying the blood lines, maintaining and increasing the numbers of this species. The American Bison is a wonder and they are even cute in their own special way. We hope to return for a trail ride. Love from Coloradans.

One of the best things we have done! Such an amazing time on the train ride to go feed the bison. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. We did the cat walk above some of the animals and it was so cool to interact with them from up there. The bison were so sweet and knew how to get those treats. Everything was very clean, everyone was so nice and the animals seem to be very well taken care of. A very fun experience and I highly recommend it!

We drove up for the day from Colorado, so I cannot speak for the overnight accommodations, but I will say that the bathrooms were pristine. We came for the Bison tour, and we had a great time! I brought my sister, college roommate, 12 year old nephew, and two toddlers, and we all loved it. The conductor was funny, genuine, and informative. There are picnic tables if you want to pack lunch, and there is also a restaurant and souvenir shop that sells snacks. I highly recommend! I recommend buying treats to feed the bison. We bought two bags and had more than plenty. We will be back!

We dove in from Texas and visited this place on our way to Yellowstone. We rented a cabin for the night and took the train ride in the morning. The first thing I must mention is that this place is far from being a resort. The cabin and train ride were overpriced for what you get. The train was not the same one as shown on the website, instead this rickety old thing patched together with plywood. Most of the tour was pretty disappointing just confirmed how run down this place really is. The animals look to be in poor health and many of the buffalo were injured. This may have been a nice place many years ago but it seems management has not done any upkeep in several years. I will not visit again and don't recommend it.

I was visiting my Mom in Denver and thought this would be a good day trip. It was on a weekday, & cold, but the staff were all pleasant and welcoming. The gift shop was nice, had good souvenirs and snacks. The bathrooms were clean.
The train ride was cold and breezy. But, it was all forgotten when we reached the Buffaloes. It was both intimidating and wonderful to see, feed and touch them! Just don't touch their horns! We already have friends interested in visiting after we shared our experience.

We went on the bison train ride and then had a snack at the Senators Cafe. Caleb was out your guide on the train, he was funny and full of great information. The bison are so cute and gentle. They come right up to the train and you can feed them the treats provided. And they give you lots of treats! At the Senator’s we sat at the bar and Travis the bartender chatted with us for a while. Everything was great. Totally recommend!

Came up from Denver and had a great time. We stayed in one of the cabins. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the wranglers were extremely accommodating and nice. We had Sierra as our guide for a horseback riding tour and she was a great guide. We came just after a snow storm so there was a fair amount of snow which looked beautiful across the fields and hills across the property. We’d like to come back in the summer to try camping.

WOW! We happened upon this place in a brochure and are so grateful we did! Sofia was such a delight as our train guide. We got to see many different animals (even prairie dogs!). The bison feeding experience was truly magnificent. We travelled from California to Denver and feel so blessed that we were able make it up to Terry Bison Ranch! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all family and friends!

The place is great! Me and my family got to feed bison, it was so much fun! I definitely recommend this place! Our tour guide Al was great! We also did the trail ride! Al was really helpful! Also the food was awesome! Senator’s Steakhouse did not disappoint. The bison burgers were incredible.

Loved loved loved the trail ride. Our guide was amazing. I truly would not miss this opportunity to see what it is like to ride through this historic plain. It was magical to imagine the west as it truly was. Al is a true cowboy. Experience was awesome. So glad we did it. Highly recommend!

We didn't stay overnight and didn't eat here. (We would have gotten breakfast but the cafe was closed.) This review is a reflection of the bison train and the grounds. The animals seem...sad? It's donkeys in the corners of their pens staring off into the distance, foals laying in their own feces, that sort of thing. There was no one out tending to the animals, tending to the grounds...it all felt off.
It was neat to see the bison up close on the train, but we didn't need lectures about Wyoming's open-carry laws ahead of our tour. (Our guide had a gun on his hip during our tour...is that necessary?) Note that the train that's on all of their promotional images online isn't what you'll ride in. That one seemed not to be in operation. The train you'll be riding is one with broken windows that people on your tour will inevitably try to open anyway when it's time to meet the bison. (We sat by an open window, so had to deal with people from broken window seats leaning over ours to feed the bison.)
This place doesn't take reservations, so unfortunately you may be waiting around for a while until your tour time if your chosen time isn't available.

Went on a trail ride, which was nice, and I rode the train to feed the Bison.
Jonathan, the train conductor was great; informative and funny. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be able to hand feed Bison and I absolutely loved it.
I did stay at the resort, it was just a quick day stop.
I wanted to eat at the Senators restaurant, but the only options were a $50 buffet, or one menu item of steak. I didn’t stay to eat.
Becky Scheidell — Google review
I always start with bad things first and like to end with the positive, so please read all the way through. Terry Bison Ranch isn’t kept up the best. RV sites aren’t the most level and it’s pretty much just dirt and gravel. You won’t want to hang out right outside your motorhome most likely. It was close to the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise. Bring EARPLUGS.
But we still LOVED it! It’s a totally different experience with a real working ranch right there that you can check out with Miniature Donkeys, peacocks, alpaca, turkeys, chicken, draft horses, riding horses, pigs, ostrich, goats and bison from a 20 ft high cat walk. We just stopped overnight while traveling home and didn’t have time for anything other than a quick look unfortunately and plan on coming back for a couple days on our next trip out west. Here’s all the great things they offer (for a fee) that we couldn’t partake in this trip. Horseback riding, pony rides, fishing for stocked rainbow trout (bring your own gear and lures) a custom made Mad Max looking rainbow bus/train that rides the rails around the ranch and bison area. The nicest gift shop around. Very unique gift and souvenir items, along with alcohol, drinks, clothes, jewelry candy, even bubble gum cigarettes. I’m not meaning to promote smoking (bad) but the blast from the past (good)😃 and kinda pricey.
There is also a streak house type restaurant with bar and casino. We didn’t have time to go there though so I can’t say much about that.
They do have lots of green space around with permanent grills and really cool play ground equipment.

We visited Terry Bison Ranch last weekend and stayed 1 night in one of the cabins. We had the absolute best time. The ranch is a true working ranch and coming from New York, we were amazed! We got to feed the buffaloes on the train tour, which was so fun! We went to senator’s for dinner and enjoyed the slots at the gaming saloon. Everyone was super friendly and we couldn’t recommend it more!

Very nice friendly staff! We did the train ride. Great for kids. Loved the bison stop! Sierra did a very good job trying to tell the story of the ranch and the bison, she definitely needs a pa system!! I really enjoyed what I was able to hear!!

Always a great experience to take the kids for a train ride to feed the bison. We live in Cheyenne, and whenever we have visitors to the area, we take them to Terry Bison for lunch and a train ride.
Though the old adage of "do not pet the fluffy cow" remains true even here, you are able to get so much closer to bison than in any other setting, and in a safe environment. It's a great opportunity to show kids (and see for yourselves) the majesty of the American bison.
Definitely recommend those coming through or staying in Cheyenne take a few hours to head down to the Terry Bison Ranch and check things out.

In all honesty, I didn't want to go back after we had a poor experience over the summer. However, we knew they were transitioning management and ownership, so we decided to visit again. What a difference! The bar staff was friendly and attentive. The Wyoming Downs staff was fun, attentive, and down to earth. I was genuinely surprised at how quickly this place turned around.

We drove up from Denver to spend the day here. It was absolutely worth it. We truly enjoyed the train ride. Caleb gave us a ton of interesting information about the ranch and the history. Feeding the boom was our favorite part. We spent a ton of time off the train as well checking out all of the animals. There are picnic tables and a gazebo to have lunch if needed and plenty of room for littles to run. We visited both playgrounds which were awesome!! We had a group of ten from ages 1-62 and everyone loved it. We will definitely be back.

We just went to Terry Bison Ranch and took the train ride to see and feed the bison. It was wonderful and Sierra was incredible and truly the heart and soul of the place! We didn’t expect much, but ended up staying for at least another hour with our 9yo son and 15yo daughter to chill with the horses, foal, alpaca, cats, ostrich etc. The bison came right up to the train and ate out of a few hands of ppl on the train with us! I would recommend maybe taking the first train of the day bc the bison weren’t hungry at all and didn’t really care to come eat anything from us on the noon train. Of course maybe it also had to do with the fact that they had mountains of hay to eat from too. 🤪 Regardless, we would def come again and would bring friends and family as part of a CO/WY experience. The Bison burgers were great, get the onion rings and fries!! They were the best we’ve ever had in our whole life! No joke!

We traveled miles and miles and only saw black cows. Finally, some Buffalo. We really enjoyed this amazing experience to feed the Buffalo. Where can you go and get this close to these gentle but dangerous/huge animals. The little train ride to the field and a bit of history telling on the way was enjoyable. The beautiful Peacocks perched. We came on Christmas Eve and this place has alot more to offer in peak season. We enjoyed the delicious Bison buffet that was offered. This was a memory maker! Thanks!
We were staying in Boulder and drove to Laporte to whitewater with Wanderlust. The drive had beautiful views and the portion on the Poudre we tagged was great too! The rafting required a lot of river negotiating and a few great drops and rapids. The guides all had unique personalities and were fun to be with and you MUST eat at Vern’s, just upstairs from the Wanderlust office, after your trip!

Great place to enjoy adventures with family! Bob did an amazing job twice accommodating our party of 10+ including children who loved the entire experience from tutorial video, meeting tour guides, to splash wars in the river & everything in between we enjoyed every minute. Family from Texas visiting Colorado for family reunion absolutely loved it so much we returned twice in one week. Wanderlust adventures not only has best prices around, but it was very special to us knowing it is difficult to accommodate my nephew (Jacob)who has heart condition and is not allowed to go above 7,000ft. This brought smiles to my entire family thank you Wanderlust! Derek, Colin, Dakota, Bob you guys did an amazing job and I thank you again for sharing this memorable moment with my nephew & family will remember forever. We will see y’all soon!

This was our first time rafting. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous taking three teen girls and myself. It was such a great experience from beginning to end! The staff were friendly when I called with questions. The guides were fun, adventurous, and safe at the same time! We loved it so much we can’t wait for the next chance to white water raft! Will definitely book another trip with Wanderlust next time we are in the area!

Had an awesome time with this rafting trip! Tour guides were fun and upbeat. You could tell our safety was a priority for them. They had people all along the route watching the river and making sure that everyone was accounted for. Loved the vibe and the banter between the guides. They really seemed to love what they’re doing. Our tour guide, Taylor, had a lot of energy and enthusiasm. She was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions about rafting and the area. She gave good direction and was good humored about our joking and playing around. Really appreciated her role in the overall experience. Great company, great crew! Couldn’t be happier with this trip and will definitely be doing this again!

I was surprised with a rafting trip for my birthday and it was so amazing! We did the Blast trip which is class 4 rapids but there was an option for only class 3 for beginners or people wanting a less extreme trip. We have been rafting before in North Carolina and Colombia and this was by far the BEST!!! Our guide Nate was so great at helping us navigate and getting us to working as a team. My husband and I were paired with another group and by the end of the trip we felt like one big family! I will always recommend this company of any others on the Poudre!

We loved our time with Wanderlust Adventures! Our charismatic trip leader was Colin, who was very helpful, extremely capable and fun. We did the Taste of Whitewater and a patron fell from the raft on the first leg of the trip. Colin was very attentive to the man and was able to assess his injury and provide help quickly.
Our river guide was George who was so fun, easy going and a very pleasant guy to be around. His laid-back style really gave us a wonderful impression of the local river folk. He provided a lot of insightful information about the river and its history, plus also recommended some restaurants and bars in the area. He also made it look very easy to navigate the river, despite our feeble rowing techniques.
We loved our photo package and will treasure those pictures forever. The package also included a couple of really great videos of our experience and was worth the cost.
Our only complaint is that it was over too soon! We would love to return someday for the Blast of Whitewater trip.
Jessica Power — Google review
Overall great trip on "blast", highly recommend going. Our raft flipped twice so keep in mind this is not a theme park and there are no safety buttons to stop the ride. Pay attention to guides, be prepared to paddle, and it's like motorcycle rules, "dress for the fall not the ride". Get a good pair of shoes that will stay on your feet and cover your toes, they are better for rocks and everyone with open toes had the same complaints of " ow we flipped and hit rocks and ow my toes hurt from sticking them under the seat to hold myself in". Also, long sleeves/pants provide sun protection but they also hold cold water against your skin longer, take your pick.
Great job from the raft guides on all the rescues today, that rope throwing could use some practice though 😅.
Our raft guide was Dakota and he was awesome!

First time white water rafting and these guys made it very enjoyable! Great group of guides. Recommend Murphy, he took care of our novice group and we all had a good time. Mator would have enjoyed to go, but he's happy with his t-shirt.

The river was great, the scenery was amazing and water was cold, as promised. We had a last minute change in our schedule and they accomadated us with one days notice, which saved our bacon. Colin was a good guide and the whole group had a family feel to it. They did a great job with our group. My only complaint would be that the pictures were not included in the package. We had a couple of miscues with the river, which they handled well.

We had the BEST time with our friends while visiting. This was the most professional, kind and wonderful group of people! As my birthday present my son got us a rafting trip with #WanderlustAdventures. Derek was our guide and he did a great job keeping us safe and entertained. Mitchell did a good job driving even during a brief rain shower. Then he took great photos and videos all along our trip. Thank you Derek and Mitchell and Wanderlust Adventures for a great time. We did indeed have a Blast!

We had a wonderful time rafting with Wanderlust Adventure. Our guide, Jack, did a fantastic job of navigating our raft between the rock and making sure everyone had a great time. We had an adventurous day without flipping our raft, which was our goal!

We had an amazing time! This was our first time rafting as a family and our guide Murph was awesome as he navigated us through the “the blast of white water” stretch. The reservations were super easy, the instructions from the staff was excellent, safety was always in the forefront, and all the guides made us feel welcome and were very informative of the river and surrounding area. I would highly recommend Wanderlust if you’re thinking of taking a white water rafting trip. Thanks again Murph and the staff at Wanderlust for showing us a great time!

We had Tasting rafting on July 4th. The entire experience was great! The river was beautiful and the guide was professional. Our boat had a girl fall into river and got picked up by another boat quickly. The photo/video package is great too! We had a great time!
New Belgium Brewing Company, founded in 1995 by a pair of beer-loving cyclists, offers a wide range of craft beers at its taproom in Fort Collins. The brewery is part of the city's vibrant craft-brewing scene, which includes other notable names like Odell Brewing Company and CooperSmith's Pub & Brewery. Visitors can take guided tours to see the brewing process firsthand and sample some of New Belgium's Belgian-style brews.
We were visiting again from Michigan, and I do enjoy this place. Great beer and wonderful atmosphere. The people here are great. I want to give a shout out to Dave, he is a fellow veteran that works at the brewery and he hooked a fellow retired veteran. Also I was spending my birthday there as well. They were having a concert that evening which was pretty cool. There was a food truck there that had killer Mac n cheese with smoked pork on the top. All in all a Great experience.

I just stopped for an hour on my way into town — perfect way to get a sense of Fort Collins from the get-go! All the outdoor seating was great and the weather was perfect, so the mood of the crowd was super happy, aided by great beers. I loved my pint of Voodoo Ranger Juicy Hazy IPA.
On a second visit, a Sunday afternoon with perfect weather, it looked as if the whole town had converged on the place! Every table was occupied, so we took our beers and sat on the edge of the stage, a perfect place to watch the Dads Mini-golf Open, which was a kick! Funny to watch the “gallery” moving from hole to hole and getting quiet for a shot! Like the other big brewery in town, this is a real, lively, thriving community center for Fort Collins.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! Great people and great beer! They love talking about beer so if you have questions just ask. You’ll learn something and genuinely have a brewery experience unlike others. Take the tour, if you don’t want to walk sit and enjoy a flight and take a tour of the flight. Be positive, have fun, and the staff will guide you through!

We visited New Belgium in Fort Collins for the first time this past December and had an absolute blast! Our small group of four received a very personal tour from Caitlin and she provided a topnotch experience. I've been on probably 8-10 brewery tours in various states but this one was the best, by far, and a lot of that is attributable to our tour guide, Caitlin. She took us all around the brewery and let us sample each of the different beers on tap. We even got a chance to pour our own samples! In addition to providing all of the details and information on how the beers are produced, Caitlin was great about fielding our questions while walking us through each part of the brewery. We even had a chance to check out the barrel room, which was really cool. If you find yourself in Fort Collins and you have time to check out New Belgium, be sure to take the tour!

Wow- where to start!
New Belgium is an experience to behold by all! PROMISE!!
Great outside area to enjoy drinks, friends, family, food and maybe even meet new people.
There are games to play, kid friendly areas!
The drink options are plentiful.
There’s a food truck every day and it’s not always the same - you can check website beforehand.
Bathrooms are clean, plenty of seating. Handicap accessible.

I've often enjoyed beers from New Belgium Brewing Company and always found them delightful. Fortunately, during my trip to Fort Collins, I had the chance to visit their brewing house. From the stunning architecture and scenic squares to the people reveling in the moment amidst breathtaking natural surroundings — it was an enchanting experience. This visit truly transformed my perspective on drinking beer. It was both pleasurable and uplifting. Thank you for such a memorable time :)

I have always enjoyed this brewery. New Belgian brewery company has an awesome campus! I enjoy their beers, especially their 1554. It was excellent to have it fresh from the brewer! Being able to take my dog also made it fun. There were tons of dogs here! Absolutely aligns the Fort Collins dog vibe.
Definitely a great spot to check out and enjoy a beer. They also had a food truck here while I was there.
Enjoy!

Happy to say after almost a year New Belgium inside is open again. Very large property for a brewery with a full bar selection and gift selection inside.
Outside they have a food truck and a very large patio slave that can get really busy during the summer. At night they have outdoor fireplaces.
Overall just a great place to chill outside with a beer and friends.

Visiting FOCO for the weekend and had friends take us out for beer at some breweries and the second one today was New Belgium. The place was absolutely packed on a Friday mid-afternoon. Don't these people work? We ended up sitting outside. I went with a sour, Dominga Paloma, and it didn't disappoint. We would need to come back on a weekday as we were told it is usually not as busy.

This is a fine brewery. Not fine as in average fine as in fine like fine wine. They have a wonderfully large field that is great for field games or little ones to run around.
The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for.
There is a great selection of beers including the new Belgium bangers like fat tire and the 9 million iterations of voodoo ranger IPA but also a lot of exclusive and small batch beers that are not easily found.
They also have sparkling water on tap and not just normal sparkling water but flavored sparkling water that is purple and beautiful.
So if you’re looking for a fine time, with some fine brews, with fine company; come to this fine brewery. (Again all these fines are like fine wine not average fine)

Had a blast on the tour! Three samples and you get to ride a slide at the end. It was interesting hearing about the company and how they make their beer. We were on the tour with some people who went every time someone was in town. I thought that was so cool and I could see why they would do that.

One of the best breweries in Colorado. The staff is super cool and friendly. We enjoyed a fun tour of the brewery with Everton. Don't let the logo turn you away. This is an imperial IPA. Very smooth and thirst quenching. Knocked several back and was having a good time real fast. Lol. I say check it out at your local store if they have them. If they don't change your store or request that they start selling Voodoo beer.

We booked two private tours with them for our wedding guests the day after the wedding, and it was the most AMAZING experience! We love New Belgium! Everyone was so impressed, and our tour guides were so kind, personable, and informative! Our wedding guests said it was the best tour they’ve ever been on. Our tour started at noon, and we ended up staying until 6 PM and just hanging out on their amazing patio.😊 It was the best end to our wedding weekend!

Went on a 90 minute brewery tour and had a great time. Small group of about 10 people. The tour guide was energetic and friendly! She explained the history of the company and described all the steps in the beer making process. We also tasted about 4 different beers along the way. I would certainly recommend it. The tour costs $10 and you can buy tickets online in advance.

Visitors can enjoy a Music Garage for recording sessions or try their hand at playing musical instruments through various tutorials. The taxidermy exhibit provides an interesting perspective on animal sizes, while live bees in a glass hive are a unique attraction. Local history items may not be as captivating as the rest, but they still offer insight into the area's past.
I took my two year old daughter and I have never seen eyes so wide. She was in awe of everything she saw. She had a blast with everything. The museum was busy but everything was well kept and clean. The staff were helpful and I saw many of them wandering around to keep everything looking neat and clean.

So much fun! We were gifted a year's family membership, so I took my 3 year old for the first time. We went straight to the tot spot (toddler area) where they had a giant water table, coloring pages, building toys, and a large interactive train track, among other things. She had a blast! The museum felt well-maintained and pretty clean. The only rough thing that happened was when my daughter face-planted on the floor because one of the carpet tiles was peeling up in the middle of the floor. They have outdoor and indoor seating for eating, interactive play rooms with visuals and music, and so many interesting exhibits to explore. They have a cafe and a free book shelf with retired library books, and a gift shop.

I loved the hands on musical instruments and tutorials. Can't play at all but had a hilarious time attempting to. Spent about 2 hours seeing everything. Taxidermy animals were very interesting. Really cool seeing sizes as compared to what you imagine their size to be in photos. Local history items were not as interesting to me as the above items but were pretty neat to see anyway. The live bees in their glass hive were a first time I'd seen anything like that. Cool!

Beautiful museum, nice staff. Everyone should visit for a day of family fun. Multiple free days during the year. Many events for children.
Take a walk by the poudre river after.

My son loves this place, we have a membership so we can go every day or once a month. It is fairly small but always entertaining for kiddos. I would imagine the thrill would be lost so we go at least once a month. I will have to give props to those who maintain this facility, most everything is always working. That in itself is a feat that needs acknowledgement due to the lack of parental supervision sometimes or even the lack of respect from parents and kids.

A great museum in the heart of Fort Collins.
The museum of discovery is a wonderful adventure for kids of all ages. They’ve taken a somewhat unassuming space and turned it into a series of little discoveries that will keep your family entertained for at least a couple of hours.
Discover Music. They have a variety of instruments, interactive stations and other hands on activities that will get your kids closer to the beautiful sounds of music. From DJ booths, drum kits, sound wave machines and more your kids will go into sonic bliss trying and testing all sorts of audio experiments.
Discover Play. The toddler area has train tracks, building blocks, a tree fort, coloring stations, costumes and a small water play area that will keep little ones engaged in fun playful activities.
Discover Wildlife. There are a few areas where you can interactive with the different wildlife that surrounds the Fort Collins area. Touch Buffalo hide, look at fish and even pose for pictures in front of a bear.
Discover Systems and Machines. They have a few interactive stations that allow your kids to experiment with engineering. From testing velocities to building ramps with balls your older more scientific centric children will love testing and experimenting with these exhibits.
Discover Fort Collins. In the back they have a nice little Fort Collins history session where your kids can learn the roots of Fort Collins and what it was before it become the craft brew capital of the world.
We’ve been coming here for years and even as our kids get older we always have a fun and memorable time at the Fort Collins Museum of Discover.

10/10 would recommend. So many different music items. Huge water table, dress up, duplos, drawing, historic stuff, taxidermy animals, a giant toy train track, & so so many things that are impossible to describe, you just have to experience them. So many things to touch; very kid friendly!! Multiple restrooms. A cafe that is decently priced.
If you're from out of town, experience it while you're here.
If you live here, get a membership. Support this amazing place. If you're a family of 4 by the time you go two of three times, the membership has more than paid for itself!!
Love this place!

This place is simply incredible. My 3 year old had the time of his life exploring the different exhibits. There are so many hands on activities and tons to see and do! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Especially if your little one likes musical instruments consider bringing them here! They have basically whole band setups, a jam room and tons of other auditory exploration fun. We will definitely be back!

We have an annual membership and come here at least once per month, if not more in the winter so our 3 year old can play with other kids and explore all of the exhibits. They have a great “tot center” that is friendly for kids 5 and under including a train set, water table, and creative “tree” that our son loves to play in. Today we misplaced Woody’s hat at the cafe after a treat, and their entire team was aware an reunited Woody with his missing hat within 15 minutes of losing it. It was so funny and precious and one of the reasons why we’ll return and continue to encourage our friends to bring their kids here as well. Museum of Discovery saves the day! We love you guys!

I loved my experience there, I did not see it was a place for kids, I just wanted to check it out. But despite that I found it to be a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun in the music area and spent most of my time there. I'd say one con is that some of the instruments didn't work, which was unfortunate. But otherwise I loved getting to see what it was all about.

My daughter started loving this place around 1 years old… when she was still just crawling but could start pulling herself up. There js a fun toddler area with water play and a big train set and large foam building blocks and books. She is now almost 2 and enjoys all the activities this place has to offer. Cool rooms with different lighting and music stuff and shadow photo thing. Many instruments to explore music- guitar, drums, keyboard/piano, xylophones… area with insects and creatures…. A tornado simulation. History of Fort Collins. Pretty neat.

There was so much to do!! It was nice that there were a variety of activities--some that my two and a half year old could do safely on his own and others that he wanted help with as well as things that interested me! A great family friendly way to have fun and learn on a budget. Definitely recommend it

Odell Brewing Company is a popular brewery located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Established in 1989, it has become a beloved spot for beer enthusiasts. The brewery offers daily tours, live music events, and on-site food trucks for visitors to enjoy. Guests can savor draft microbrews and wine from the OBC Wine Project while taking in scenic mountain views on the covered patio.
This was the most fun! I can highly recommend the tour here. It was more intimate and local feeling than the other tour I went on, so it was fun to contrast them. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and kind. Lots of people hanging out outside as well. Left with a souvenir glass of Sippin’ Pretty. The best beers and sours!

Nice beer brewing I don’t like beer but I advice to visit this place. We picked to go to the winery since most of the family drinks wine.
The winery is not that big. You have lots of choices of wine. The food is not complementary you have to pay extra for cheese and small bites of food.
The wine comes in cans and bottles made in iron.
The service was polite.
They have a nice car park

Short Description: Great beer, good variety, super friendly beer tenders, nicely designed inside and outside, dog friendly... can't wait to go again!
Long Description: When you arrive, you will notice the building has a stunning mix of elegant and industrial textures with a stacked stone turret on one side and exposed vertical tanks on the other.
After you park in the ample parking lot or get out of your Uber ride (highly recommended), you be greeted by welcoming friendly faces who are very helpful as you browse their awesome selection of beer. We recommend doing a flight so you can sort of speed date through the options to see which beer steals your heart.
I can't rave enough about how amazing each beer was! I personally LOVED their seasonal experimental IPA for 2022 called Wolf Picker. It was hop forward in the most elegant way. It was not too bitter and in your face. The fresh hop aroma was just heaven for my nose! My wife likes sours so she loved the Sippin' Pretty, Friek, and Sippin' Tropical Sour. Lastly, their flagship ale, 90 Shilling was just fantastic! It was an easy drinking beer with beautiful subtle flavors and not too bold in any way. 90 Shilling is just a lovely ale.
The inside seating areas where beautifully designed and very cozy. We opted to sit outside on the lovely patios because the sun was out. We quickly noticed that even though it was still super cold outside, it didn't stop the massive amount of customers from hanging out outside as well enjoying the scenery and the amazing beer!
Every other group of people had a dog or two on the patio. I love the dog friendly policy of dogs being welcomed outside but not in the main inside seating areas. I feel that is the most hygienic and fair. That being said, I enjoyed meeting the friendly people outside and petting their super friendly puppies and dogs.
Overall, it was the most fun and best beer I had during my stay in Fort Collins. If we find ourselves back in Fort Collins, Odell Brewing will be on the top of our list to revisit!

This place was crazy busy on a Saturday afternoon. We ended up going over to their wine garden as there was zero room in their beer garden. Everything we tried was on point.

We usually stick to small local breweries, but decided to visit an OG Colorado brewery while passing through Ft. Collins on a recent trip. We don't get Odell beers in NC. The outdoor seating area is really nice. I had the IPA flight and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

If you visit here, you'll see many people thoroughly enjoying themselves. The ambiance is enhanced by the good music of a fantastic band, and then the space becomes absolutely picturesque. People can relax, soak in the atmosphere, and savor delicious beer. If the weather is good, you won't envy anywhere else. I had a wonderful time here. Thank you :)

The atmosphere here is very fun and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is really nice and helpful. The beer is great! Flights are $10 or $15 depending on your choice, and beers range from $6-$10, but $5 Monday afternoons. We had a great time here and can’t wait to go back!

WOW WOW WOW:
I rate 5 stars with sincerity and no exaggeration, especially on account of the QUALITY of products available, exceptional customer service from every staff member I have met here ( on both the brewery side and the winery side) Did you know!?! Odell has a winery now AND you can have wine and/or beer OUTSIDE on both patios!? Talk about #inclusion - gosh I just love the innovation at this place, from the beverages to the furniture! Just had to leave some love for my fave brewery in Fort Collins. Side note: they even have lawn games- I love their custom made corn-hole boards and the hilarious but relevant signage everywhere- definitely worth the read, don’t miss out!!!

Beautiful patio. Dogs allowed on patio only (they are allowed inside only while you order).
Fantastic beer and there has always been a food truck when we visited too.

A completely changed brewery in the past few years. Service is very poor. On a warm day expect to wait outside the doors 10 minutes to get to the bar. I asked for a 6 pack of Good Behavior. $11.99. This is $10.99 in town. I asked for one .... $5 !!!. This would make for a $30 six pack. Brewery gone wild!
Tom Mackenzie — Google review
Odell Brewing has some awesome beers. However if you are a part of the Ft Collins biking community, there is a lot to be desired for their million dollar property. For a small amount of money, they could put some bike racks close to the area where you could watch your bike in the rack. Most all of the micro breweries have racks that you can keep a eye on your bike. If you own a bike worth several thousand dollars, it is worth this advantage. They have racks on the west side of the property and most of the seating is on the west end out of site of the racks. Come on, put some racks further east. Maybe between the brewery and the wine building.

Excellent brewery in Fort Collins!
Cool building, interior layout, outdoor space with a fireplace, and the selection of beers was impressive.
I chose the Cutthroat Porter, I typically go with a heavy beer. Would have been nice to also see a brown ale on the list, maybe another time. The porter was smooth and mellow. If it wasn't lunch I may have had another. I was interested in the Easy Tiger - Ginger Pale Ale and the 90 Schilling - Flagship Ale.
The reason we decided to go for a visit was the Momos food truck was there and did not disappoint! Great combo of beer and momo.
This brewery is popular for good reason and I love that they bring the food trucks in for customers. I will be back, especially for the beer and Momos!

I honestly like this brewery for the outdoor seating as well as the speed of service over new Belgium brewery which I’ve also reviewed. It was without question the fastest beer serving I’ve ever seen. And the staff was absolutely fantastic. The outdoor seating is, in a word, lovely. Ample shade beautiful trees and a beautiful view. I only saw one food truck here so I am on aware if there is more food options. There seems to be plenty of parking on the side of the building as well as a gravel lot which could hold several hundred cars.
When I do come back to Fort Collins I will definitely come here and spend much more time.

Good beer, awesome space, and tons of drink and food options make Odell an easy recommendation. The brewery is massive with many areas to grab a seat. Beers were of course solid, with Odell's mainstays on tap plus wine options available. The food truck options were nice to see as well. Fun time!
The Union Colony Civic Center is a versatile performance facility that boasts both a theatrical stage and a 1,686-seat concert hall. It serves as an ideal regional town theater, hosting acclaimed shows like Shen Yun with convenient shopping options on site. The main theater features good acoustics while the smaller second floor theater is perfect for concerts and recitals with even better sound quality. Ticket prices are fairly reasonable but seating can be cramped, potentially uncomfortable for larger or older individuals.
Have loved and enjoyed this venue for 35 years and still going! There's not a bad seat in the house; acoustics are phenomenal! You won't be disappointed. Building is beautifully designed and a true premier venue to experience in Northern Colorado. Still looks new inside; they really have taken great care of it. Home of Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and so many wonderful events throughout the year. It's always a special and memorable time spent treating yourself to an afternoon or evening out; you forget you're in Greeley!
Gina Fischer — Google review
The union colony is an excellent facility for a regional town theater. Shows like Shen Yun have toured to excellent acclaim. The place is clean with shopping that often accompany a show. Acoustics are good in the main theater and even better in the smaller second floor theater used for events like concerts and recitals.
Seating is often reasonably priced.
The shows are a hybrid staff of volunteers and paid staff. This can result in an inconsistent experience as some of the volunteers are perhaps a bit aggressive in role.
Seating is small and tight which may be uncomfortable for older or larger patrons.

This was my second concert there although my first concert wasn't with the dynamic conductor they have now. If you enjoy listening to classical music, your best bet is to go to this civic center to hear the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra perform by their new conductor, Lowell Graham. Saw the production of Disney's Beauty and The Beast tonight. The entire show was phenomenal. You're really getting an outstanding show for what you're paying. I would highly recommend watching this company as well as shows at this venue. The venue appears to be small from the outside but the theatre inside is really a decent size. We had comfortable seats and a wonderful view. There really isn't a bad seat in the house since it's not too big. The lobby and bathrooms were very clean. We'll definitely be back for more shows.

Parking was easy and close. The lobby was very nice. The employees were great. There was good security and the drinks were great. Inside the venue felt a bit dated. I'm tall, but the seats were uncomfortable. The sound was perfect, but the show lighting wasn't coordinated well with the stage in my opinion. I was able to get front row seats at a very reasonable price. Overall it was a great way to see a band up close.

The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is a historical institution that showcases exhibits of railway artifacts and features an impressive 3D model railroad exhibit. The museum displays intricate details and fun hidden surprises, such as tiny moving chickens. Visitors can easily spend several hours exploring the museum's vast collection and admiring the craftsmanship required to construct such a grand scale model railroad system. The different sections of the exhibit seamlessly blend together, allowing visitors to imagine themselves as passengers on the train while following its route.
Breathtaking details and fun little hidden gems are sure to be found at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum. (One of my favorites are the tiny little chickens that move. Reminded me of the chickens I had when I was little!) We spent about 2.5 hours here looking at everything and I know that there are tons of details that we probably missed! Just a great appreciation for the time, effort, and ingenuity it takes to design and build a grand scale model railroad system. Each section blends well with the one next to it and I found myself following the train and trying to imagine what it might be like if I were a passenger on the train. My imagination was soaring! We look forward to our next visit!

This is such an amazing museum! On Fridays and Saturdays, it is common to have one or two dozen volunteers operating trains. They all have radios, and obey over 150 signals on the layout. It takes about one hour for a train to go around the massive setup.
Check the museum's website as they have special themed events every few weeks. The place is expanding with outdoor exhibits coming soon.
Kids and adults will enjoy the scavenger hunt to see details in the scenery. Train enthusiasts will enjoy the realism of the historic trains.
I am a pilot, so I was fascinated with the Dispatcher and traffic controls required to operate so many trains at once.

I'm a train guy.....and my expectations aren't high. I have been to plenty of model railroad exhibits, swap meets, and even some museums, none of which can't even come close to comparing to this piece of history circa 1970's in the northwest corridor and pushing a tad modern. These guys really know how to put on a really quality realistic show of extremely talented ho scale model train workmanship. This is definitely something every train lover should see. From wall to wall, it exhibits examples of different scale sizes to different manufacturers, to all kinds of railroadania. It also includes a train simulated style screen from a locomotive that is running a on the layout, that allows you to see first person viewing, and they have a real ctc system dispatched by a real dispatch opperater and it icludes a full sized real caboose you can climb up into and have a look around. This is a very big display not big enough to get lost in but definitely big enough to encompass such an amazing train display.
You won't be disappointed at all. Go have a look for yourself and enjoy!!

I've been in Loveland for a few days and passed the sign several times and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did. Over 10 acres of over 150 sculptures of various styles, subjects, and mediums, though most are bronze. I so enjoyed walking the trails and taking in this free art experience. Some are funny, others political, others historical and others whimsical. Many are placed in a specific setting relevant to the subject.
Every once in a while, you come across a place that you don't want to leave, and this was one of those places for me. If I had a molecule of imagination and an ounce of talent,I'd try to be a sculptor. This is the next best thing. Thank you for making this available for all to see.

So you look here and see these rad rocks, but the trail doesn't go there. The rocks are in this rich neighborhood's backyard and the trail goes through the low points where you can't see them because they didn't want to build the trail through their landfill of construction trash. So disgusting what happened to this beautiful place. I encourage you to ignore the signs and go off trail to actually enjoy this place. The yucca plants will be just fine , trust me.

Really nice trail. Great for hiking or biking. Used to be free parking but now it's $10 which it's probably worth but seems a bit high. This trail connects to Coyote Ridge, Indian Summer, and Blue Sky which eventually ends up near Horsetooth Reservoir so you can get as much riding or hiking as you want. Do watch out for rattlesnakes.

Pretty audacious to charge $10 for a hike that used to be FREE for the past 35 plus years. Loveland must be very desperate of funding. Overcrowded and unkept. A $10 hike should be justified with improvements and beautiful scenery. For example Hanging Lake in Glenwood Springs Colorado is a $10 hike. This does not even touch that very disappointed. Not worth it!

Devils Backbone is a good scenic trail and I would qualify it as easy. If you want to bring family you can do so. Also the trails allow dirt biking.
If you do the extended hike which is 7 miles round trip there is some rock scrambling and a also very few people that far.
I think it's $11 to park, overall beautiful trail.

Great trail for walking/easy easy hiking. Good if you dont have time to reach the mountains but still want some trail time. Great place for bikers as well. Cool viewpoints overlooking the foothills and some of the nearby peaks. Easy enough for kids and dogs. Longest point is 5.5 miles out so round trip would get you near 11 miles if you wanted the full deal. Key hole lookout/viewpoint is awesome.

Beautiful hike near Loveland! After a couple of days hiking on some snowy trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, Devil's Backbone Open Space trails were a nice change for some sun, desert flora, greenery, and rocky cliffs. Definitely recommend!
The Loveland Museum is a small attraction that displays a range of ever-changing artwork alongside a permanent exhibit detailing the local history. Despite its size and location, the museum offers an in-depth insight into both the art and the history of Loveland, Colorado. The knowledgeable staff are particularly engaging for children, as they provide an interactive experience that sheds light on how people lived in the past and how mountain men operated.
Despite its location and size this museum provides a deep look into the art and history of the wild west and loveland Colorado specifically. The knowledge and experience of the staff is wonderful, especially if you have children as it is really engaging to have them go over the historical way people lived and mountain men operated. A really delightful experience and a great family or class activity

Cute little museum with a ton of information on the history of Loveland. Weird musty smells in parts, but that’s part of the charm. I did not find the guitar exhibit to be well done and wish I had waited for the upcoming special exhibit. Who makes a guitar exhibit that’s completely silent?! Lovely staff members and cute little gift shop.

Lady the desk was very kind and informative, sorry didn’t get her name. Some of museum is free some isn’t. Worth learning my about Loveland and the sugar beets!

My 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 6, and 8, and I really enjoyed the museum. The kids spent a long time playing upstairs in the child sized mail truck "delivering" mail into the colorful mailboxes. They also enjoyed the art exhibit (Marmots) and the historical portion of the museum.
Cost for myself was $7, the kids were free!

Nice little museum that exhibited the history of Loveland along with work from various artists. We had the opportunity to see the last day of the Michael Friedman photography exhibit as well as the John Mellencamp special art exhibits. The museum was free but the Mellencamp exhibit did come with a cost. Good way to spend an hour or so of your afternoon.

Excellent hometown museum! Love the current exhibition New York/New York: The Avant-Garde from Mid-Century. Loved the wood block prints in this collection. Thanks! Here are some highlights.

Came to see the Ansel Adams exhibit of Manzanar. Very sobering. This little museum is a hidden gem in Loveland. We also saw 2013 flood timeline and pictures, and all about the Great Western sugar factory from days gone by.

The history of Loveland and most of the museum is free. It's adorable, I love how they layed it out. Huge topographical map upstairs! There's a $7 admissions fee to an art gallery in the same building which is neat. They also have a downstairs for a kids art gallery which was so cute. The lady at the front was very nice (I think her name was Jennifer, but I may be wrong)

We love to visit the museum for their new exhibits. The exhibits in the main gallery are quite varied and unique and they rotate every several months so there's usually something new to see. The core exhibit does an excellent job highlighting the local sugar beet industry history which is an amazing story of what contributed to the community's growth.
We return frequently and would highly recommend the exhibit that opened just recently - Ansel Adams photos at Manzanar interment camp in 1943. Just excellent work that truly captures life in the camp! A must see!

A great value, and the staff was very friendly. It had much more to it's exhibits than I expected. The topographic map model on the second floor is incredible, especially if you're local and can pick out familiar sights. They have clean bathrooms and cold water fountains, which is highly appreciated.

Great local historical museum! I live going to small town museums to learn about their history. It's always hit or miss on the quality. This one is well done and informative. Good information on the history of Loveland, and a devoted space to rotating exhibits - currently housing an Ansel Adams collection featuring Japanese Internment Camps. Also, located in the downtown area, so you have a lot of restaurant choices to round out the experience. Again, well done!
Tickets for this modern musical theater & live music venue include a classic American meal.
Excellent musical performance, great meal, and enthusiastically indefatigable service. The orange-pomegranate salmon entree was phenomenal with steamed sliced carrots and sweet potatoes cubes with a brown sugar butter, all of which was followed by a deliciously smooth raspberry sorbet. To somehow top their menu successes, the diligent cast members and every part of the crew that keeps these dinner theaters running so fluidly are unbelievably remarkable! Highly recommend checking Candlelight out! You won’t regret coming here to witness a performance of a lifetime; the actors are so jovial yet hardworking, talented yet easygoing, and hilarious yet dedicated. Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was the most wonderfully memorable form of entertainment I have come across in a long time!

Dinner was okay — I’d describe it as above average banquet food. It’s not coming across on camera, but the salad was small and the lettuce was wilted, tomatoes shriveled. Chicken was moist. Veggies were bland. Roasted potatoes were good. Drink was tasty. The show and set was amazing! Will be back to see another show and keep expectations of dinner low.

Such a fun experience. We try to go a few times a year, depending on what the current show is. We saw "The Sound of Music" yesterday and it was fantastic! We were all so impressed by the show and the talent. Just WOW. The food is usually pretty good but the drinks and desserts are absolutely where it's at. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy another amazing day or evening here.

We are season ticket holders and absolutely love every show we see here. Our kids are developing a love of theater and adore their visits. The fact that the actors/actresses are also the serving staff is one of their favorite parts. After each shown they run around asking for autographs and have a few "favorites" already.
Tara Roehl — Google review
I really enjoyed my experience there, supporting people who really want to make a living at acting is difficult when they're starting out and really want to do the work. I'm impressed that they were able to have the actors as the wait staff as well, and that they could do both between acts. And it was fun to be able to interact with them in a more regular setting.
The theater is spacious! And nearly all the tables have good seats to watch. The food is okay! The salads were pretty fresh and cold and dressed appropriately, the dinners were of a select few things, that were done as well as they could be when prepared all at once and carried across a theater.
I actually really enjoyed the service, but maybe our waiter was just that personable, and they did all that needed to be done and didn't bother us when they were busy with show stuff. The clearing staff was quick and prompt, and the management of the service area asked for feedback, which was very nice. I think they want to improve, but we didn't have any problems at all with our service or food.
Some of the desserts were more disappointing than others, the cream puffs were pretty bland, even with the cute chocolate kiss mice. *laughs* More for the effect than the flavor/taste or texture. But the locally made cheesecake was delicious!

I have been multiple times with various ages. My son, around 10 years old, loved it and has asked to go again. My daughter, around 20, also loved it. Everyone, including patrons, are really nice. The food is decent with limited options. The service and acting has been A+ multiple times. We will return.

The show was excellent and if that was all that matters, this would be a five star review. The past three shows have had a marked decline in service as the actor-waiters are often unskilled at the waiter part.
The simplified menu and use of a mix of easy cook, pre cook, and warm from frozen food should make for an ok, if mediocre, dinner that can be executed efficiently.
In practice, you get the mediocre part without the speed.
I love the concept, my wife loves the shows. With a couple dedicated waiters they could speed service, reduce actor workload by a table or two each, and maybe even help with cross skill training.

It was our best experience coming here so far. The staff (who are often times also characters in the performance) are always friendly and inviting. It was a magical time had by all <3. This was my son’s first ever theater experience - he laughed, he cried, he cheered, and he can’t wait for the next one. A big shout-out to the cast, crew, and chefs who made this experience possible. We’ll never forget you!

The shows are always a great production. High energy, great voices, beautiful sets and dedicated performers. Every seat is a good seat. The cast and staff are very fun and accommodating. The food isn't the highlight, but with plenty of options and changing theme, it's not really an issue. Really fun place to take the family or a date.

The play was incredibly well done, good acting, nice sound, and even decent dancing. We will definitely be coming back.
The food is a little bit like cafeteria style, with very small portions. Dessert wasn't worth it, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back for the musical and theater.
Parking was easy, and there was plenty of it.

Just saw another show here (Joseph) and the show was great. The actors do an amazing job and make the shows very enjoyable. The food is ok, the menus change with each show so that is nice. The bathrooms in this place are bizarre. The doors seem like they are put on wrong, so you cannot get out of them without climbing over the toilet. very strange indeed. Overall its a great local venue and they put on a great show for a fair price.

Left Hand Brewing Company is an exceptional independent brewery that offers a wide variety of microbrews, including stouts, IPAs and barrel-aged options. The tasting room features a patio and daily food trucks, with ample outdoor space for social distancing. Knowledgeable staff can assist with organizing flavors for tastings, and fair prices make it accessible to all. Visitors can bring their dogs along to enjoy the large lawn area near the main taproom.
Excellent independent brewery! Enough options that a flight is likely warranted even if focusing on a particular category (stout, IPA, barrel-aged, etc.). Knowledgeable staff can help match/organize flavors for it. Food trucks nightly. Heated outdoor space, good for social distancing. Many, many options to go at fair prices.

My friend wanted to try a beer at this Brewery for a while and since we were layover 24 hours why not?
Upon arrival, you had to wait for hostess to open the door as they're accepting only a certain capacity of customers at a time. The gentleman up front was extremely nice! We decided to sit outside as Colorado weather was perfect for outdoor seating.
Menu's are through scan code so perfect. They offer a variety of beers on tap to pick from as well as can ones. I decided to go with a flight of beer which includes 4 samples. I picked Good Juju (if you love Ginger then this is your type of beer, loved it!), White Russian (if you're a fan White Russian cocktail then flavors are on point and it will be your perfect beer), Milk Stout (it felt like a triple double espresso; if you're a coffee lover then this beer it's just for you) and Raspberry Milk Stout (my second favorite - loved it!).
We asked for food options and the waiter mentioned they had an agreement with two restaurants. Options were either Mexican or BBQ and off course we went with BBQ. Delivery time was extremely fast and their BBQ especially their Ribs and Briskett were to die for!
Super knowledgeable employees, extremely clean establishment, free parking in the front lot of the brewing, and best of all upon check in through Yelp you get a free pint of beer of your choice with what's available on the tap options.
Highly recommended!

We had a family visit to The Left Hand Brewing Company yesterday in Longmont, Colorado. What a great experience it turned out to be. We sampled several of the stouts as well as a few others. We bought a pack of White Russians to take home. Bartender was very welcoming and helpful in choosing some of the beers. A great treat to visit for all beer lovers. Nice little fire-pit outside too.

We love it here! Between the tap house and Biergarten, left hand is always a good time! We’ve been a bunch of times and it never disappoints. Recently we popped in with our toddler to enjoy my husbands birthday and they were so awesome! The outside area at the tap house is great and lots of fun seating areas! All of their beers are delicious but I really enjoyed their Oktoberfest this visit!

Some of the stouts where good. The ones with an adjunct, such as the French Toast had a very "fake" taste. The other beers where subpar. The staff didn't seem to like their jobs. The bartenders where short with you and I ran into a grey haired individual that was rather rude, I'm assuming he works there. Overall not a good experience and don't see a need to go back.

May have a national handprint but the trip to where it all happens explains why it’s national. Amazing that after winning GABF 2022 that there’s seat at the tap, hospitality and a atmosphere that no one is resting on its laurels or hops. Favorite start with Dry Irish Stout.

If you get the chance take the brewery tour... its fantastic. I've been on several brewery tours across the country. This is in the top 3. Especially if you are a microbrew nerd and like to talk beer. Everyone there is very knowledgeable about the process and the final product.
The tasting room has a great atmosphere. Almost reminds me of "Cheers" where everyone knows your name even if you are from out of town. We checked in at the bar for the tour and we started chatting with the guy at the end of the bar.
This has got to be one of my favorite farmers markets. Logistically, it has ample and free parking, making it easy to get to. The City of Longmont Museum is a small but impressive museum that showcases diverse exhibits with a regional focus on history and art. The museum offers all-ages interactive programs, including activities for children, classrooms, an auditorium and office space. One-half of the museum's space is dedicated to these facilities while the other half displays interesting artifacts from local history. The collection includes an intriguing picture in their history section that resembles Yoda from Star Wars.
A really well-done history museum with interesting displays and a clear narrative. And there are lots of old-school interactive elements that are great for kids. (I liked the one where you divert water to where it needs to go.)
The "Duality" gallery curated by Gregg Deal is really amazing - contemporary works by indigenous artists. Definitely a must-see. Then for kids, there is a treehouse play area up in the tower that's a lot of fun and had great views.

This thoroughly modern museum and cultural center provides an engaging multi-media look at life on the high plains, just 35 miles north of Denver. It covers all bases, from the Plains indigenous people, the agricultural boom of the 19th to mid- 20th centuries and the role of factories and railroad. The challenges faced by Hispanic/Latino residents and workers, WW1 and WW2 are acknowledged, along with local “low-riders.” A knowledgeable local staff and archives are on-site to assist. COVID safety was observed (as of Aug. 2021)

Rehabilitation & rescue center for animals such as lions, tigers, bears & wolves, open to visitors.
We had an amazing visit to the sanctuary. We arrived with absolutely no expectations to see any of the rescue animals that they have but we're blown away to have been graced with the presence of many. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and it's a good way to get some exercise in on your hike. What a blessing we will be going back!

Incredible animal sanctuary! Its definitely worth the trip to see these magnificent animals up close. It’s also really interesting and inspiring to learn about the amazing work the sanctuary is doing in order to provide a safe haven for all these beautiful animals.
I really enjoyed speaking with a volunteer. He was very friendly but also a wealth of knowledge and taught me so much about the different animals, their stories and how the sanctuary strives to create a safe and comfortable forever home for all the animals regardless of their age or situation.
I would highly recommend renting or bringing binoculars. Some of the animals are easy to see but others can be seen more easily with the binoculars. Plan to spend several hours here as there are hundreds of animals.
They do have two small restaurants where you can purchase drinks and snacks if you get hungry/thirsty. They also have several conveniently located restrooms throughout the sanctuary.
A wonderful sanctuary doing amazing work!

Beautiful animals that we well cared for! Two MUSTS: 1. binoculars, 2. patience. This isn't a zoo where you are face to face with the animals behind glass. You have a birds eye view of them in very large natural habitats. Some of the tigers are in smaller enclosures for medical care or because they are newly rescued. You do get a pretty up close view of them. Staff and volunteers were all friendly and knowledgeable. Drove up from the Springs and it was worth the trip on a sunny, cool spring day.

Wonderful place to visit with a wonderful purpose behind it! The walkway is a unique way to experience the wildlife. Good photo opportunities even though the weather wasn't great. My pictures are just from my phone, so if you actually knew what you were doing, opportunities could be great. Facilities and gift shop are also nice.

*Must have plan for binoculars* you will not make the most of your ticket/experience unless you either bring your own or pay a few bucks to rent them there. You’ll see SO much more with binoculars/monocular. I seriously cannot imagine doing this visit without magnification.
Please keep in mind this is not a zoo. The animals are peacefully living in their massive natural habitats. It’s an amazing experience to see so many animals now given the best life possible.
I’d recommend waiting until kids are at an age for a 2 hour attention span with animals farish away. They have awesome accessibility and offer motorized power chairs to rent for those who might struggle with the walk.

What a fantastic place to see! Earlier in the morning provided us with lots of animals storing, walking around and just soaking up the sun. We say new baby foxes, tigers, lions, ligers, bears and a variety of wolf, coyotes, and other beautiful cats. Don’t forget to look for the camels.
Debbie Hunt — Google review
We took our kids there and had a great time! I was unsure what to expect but it was incredible. My 17 year old and 11 year old both had a super fun time!
We easily saw MANY beautiful and fun exotic animals from the safety of the walkway and yet the animals were roaming freely and safely in habitats that allow them significantly healthier and freer than what I’ve seen at zoos. Rescued tigers, foxes, bobcats, lions, bears, ostriches, emus, wolves, lynxes, and more.
It’s a drive to get there but worth it! Plan to do a lot of walking. But the time flew by and before we knew it we had easily spent over two hours enjoying the park.
We had good luck with the weather. Might be less enjoyable on really hot or really cold days because you’re outside, exposed to the elements most of the time.
They said mornings are the best because the animals are usually more active. That definitely seemed the case for us. By the time we left around lunch, many of the animals were napping in the sun.
It’s not inexpensive ($50/adult) but seems like a great cause and was worth it for us to see so many awesome animals rescued and taken care of.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary was awesome. We had a really good time. It's great how everything they do is centered around making the animals comfortable and healthy. We spent more time on the walk than we planned because we spent so much time enjoying watching the animals. Definitely worth the drive and the walk. The indoor entrance has plenty of bathrooms and a great little cafe, gift shop and ice cream shop. All of these areas are clean and inviting. Going in mid May the weather was perfect. The visit was worth the $50 day pass and I would gladly come again.

You should bring binoculars or rent them from WAS. There are a few animals close by, but most animals are best seen through binoculars. I always wondered where the large animals that are rescued go, and now I know. Many of them are here.
The big surprise is that the food in the Lions Den Cafe is actually pretty good. It is definitely better than your average zoo food. We all enjoyed our lunches.
Take the 50 minute drive from Denver and experience this jewel of a wildlife sanctuary.

This was a pretty cool experience but I thought it was extremely expensive for what it was. We did have a great time and I would consider going back but $50/adult and $30/kid is a lot for a family of 4. It took a while for our girls to enjoy themselves but once we got going and started seeing more animals they became more interested. We were some of the last people there as the park was closing and the sun was setting which actually ended up being a treat for us because many of the lions and bears were rawring and it could be heard from all over the park. So that was pretty unique. Overall I’m glad we did it but it will be a while until we return because of the high prices.

The animal sanctuary is absolutely incredible. We will be life long members and contribute what we can to support the crucial work they’re doing. The stories of what these animals have been thru is absolutely heartbreaking.
Thank you, animal sanctuary, for your vision, compassion and love for all the animals in the world.

This is the best experience I’ve had since living in Colorado the past 2.5 years. Incredible wildlife, staff, and facilities. Highly recommend bringing or investing in binoculars to make the experience that much better, however they do provide you with a monocular that you get to keep. Staff is incredible and passionate about the animals. My crew spent over 5 hours here and we easily could have spent 2 more. Other than the animals in the sanctuary we saw wild fox, bald and golden eagles flying by. 11/10 experience, we’ll see you soon!!

This beat my expectations. We had family friends in town and were looking for things to do with a 13 year old. We decided on the Wild Animal Sanctuary and went at 4:30pm because we heard going closer to dusk you had the chance to hear the animals start to rawr - and we absolutely did (it sounded unreal). The prices are obviously more than going to a zoo but we all felt fine with that since the money went to a good cause. This sanctuary is helping rescue so many abused animals. Our group did bring binoculars but I saw so much without them I probably only used them 3 times - but I imagine this can differ by times of day, etc. Amazing place.

Bought a Family Plan and took three of the grandkids. Will be back to see more in the near future. Pretty cool when the lions started roaring.
Clean and warm restrooms.
Sorry, no dogs.

Such an amazing place that rescues animals no matter the size or shape. The volunteers took the time to explain the animals situations and the care they get. Just an amazing experience. It taught my kids a lot about illegal animal trade and how bad conditions are for those animals. It was very educational. The animals have lots of room and are not in small cages.

Great visit. So lots of tigers, lions, bears, and wolves plus some bobcats, linx, etc. Docents are great to help you find the animals or share a story about their rescue.
This place was SO much fun! My son enjoyed the big jumper pad, tractor ride and seeing the animals (although I do wish there were more animals to see) The haunted corn maze was literally the BEST we’ve ever been to (they actually popped out and did their job at scaring us) we’ve been to other haunted houses and they didn’t even try. We are definitely going to start coming here every year to make new memories as a family :)

A big and great pumpkin farm ! We went on Thursday so it was not crowded. They have food stand, general store that sells jams, shirt and other gifts. A lot of free games for families, such as barrel train, pedal karts, corn maze, huge bouncy pads ! A free wagon ride to go to the pumpkin patch area. There are paid activities like face paint or the Terror in the Corn. If you want to stay until dark, you can reserve the campfire area. Clean area with nice staffs. Recommended for fun family activities!

This corn maze is always a blast to go to! We recently went to the sunflower fields and that was amazing. There are a wide range of sunflower variations and you have the opportunity to cut and bring them home. We will definitely be back for both the corn maze and the sunflower field!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. You literally pick your pumpkin from the vine, it's an amazing experience but I would definitely bring gloves since the tiny thorns/prickles that grow in the pumpkin vine can really be annoying. The pumpkins are also easy cheaper than buying from your local supermarket. I love everything about this place and this will become a yearly tradition in my family for sure!

Had a great time.picking out pumpkins and making our way through the corn maze. I saw they have fire pits this year which is super cool. Great fall activity day. If you want to do the haunted corn maze or the zombie paintball you have to go Thursday-Saturday.

Fantastic! There is so much to do for young and old! We did the 35$ pass for the terror in the corn and regular festival and it was well worth the price. The corn maze is huge, there were lots of cute activities included with the pass and you could even rent (for an extra cost) your own private fire pit. Also the haunted house was incredibly elaborate. They really put a lot of effort into it!

So much fun picking sunflowers! Fun little farm park including slides and games for kiddos. Changing stations are amazing for young families. The hayride out to the sunflower field was accessible, which is wonderful. Staff was kind of friendly.

This was the first year we went, and it was awesome! We went to the fall festival and it was so much fun. There were an endless amount of things to do, lots of food and drink options, and a petting zoo, I could go on forever. The pumpkin patch has a huge selection of pumpkins to choose from. Bathrooms all over the place, which was so nice and convenient. They even had a changing station in the kids zone. It was fully packed, and we had to wait forever to buy pumpkins and to get out, but if you go early in the morning, it isn't as bad. Plus, it's an awesome place, so of course, it's packed full on a Sunday. Staff is also great. 10/10 recommend, and we are going back every year!

Fall Festival was perfect for our toddler. There is live music, wagon/tractor pulls to the pumpkin patch, a giant tire tower for the kids to climb, bouncy pads, 3 minute escape rooms, basketball, play areas with slides and trains, picture areas, animal viewing, fall craft items, corn mazes and so much more! I suggest earlier times to avoid busier times.
Kelly McKirahan — Google review
Loved this place- only reason for four stars is that it is a bit pricey (and a lot of attractions inside cost extra), and you can't get the terror in the corn tickets separately from the normal "fall festival" tickets. But, the fall fest is definitely worth checking out. Tons of random things for smaller kids to enjoy, and the live music and huge corn maze is great for all ages. Also the pumpkin patch is large with a great selection of different color and sized pumpkins, plus a good view of the mountains. Also, the terror in the corn was great with unique special effects and good actors
Tips:
-You can bring in your own food and drink (nonalcoholic)
-You can enter and exit as you please
-Got there on a Sunday around 10am and lines weren't bad - I'd recommend coming early on the weekends

We take our family to Anderson Farms at least 3-4 times a year, this has been a tradition for the last 9 years. From their sunflower field, to the pumpkin patch and their haunted house… what’s not to love!? The grounds are always beautifully decorated and clean! Photo opportunities around every corner. Not to mention their cute gift shop with some of the most delicious salsas & the sweetest banana bread. Will always be a loyal customer of theirs! :)

We had a wonderful time here for the u-pick sunflowers 🌻. The staff was super friendly and the flowers were beautiful and plentiful. There are lots of hidden little nooks for photo ops in the sunflower field and you can even find Waldo if you look carefully 👀 They also have private fire pits for rent in the field, which I thought was a great idea for a girls night or family night. There are also several areas for the kids to play at the main entry area, and shady seats under the trees for the parents while they wait. They also had a couple of cute games to play for an additional fee and a food truck was on site when we were there. I also loved that they had a nice, covered area for diaper changes. Would definitely recommend for family outings.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful experience! We went for my kiddos field trip and it was so much fun! We loved the ride to the pumpkin patch, and at 38, I picked a pumpkin from the vine for the first time ever. My kids had a great time on the peddle karts, the fort, bounce pads, corn maze... so much to do! And I was SHOCKED at how delicious the food truck food was. That funnel cake was the best I have ever had! The staff was friendly, too. Loved the hand-washing stations, so thanks for those! We didn't wait in line longer than 5 mins for anything and the place is so spacious that while it was busy, it never felt crowded and was surprisingly clean for a dusty farm. Fun for all ages in our party, ranging from 9 to 65. My kids can't wait to go back. And to be honest, neither can I! I wish I would have grabbed a couple more bags of candied nuts. They were DELICIOUS. And we loved the alpaca stuffies. We grabbed two to remind my kids of the animals they fed.
My one complaint (not even really big enough to be a complaint): the porta potty situation. There were a TON of them, which was great. And even with a ridiculous sense of smell, I didn't notice any smells at all. But I HATE public restrooms as it is, and there is only one flushing restroom (in the general store) to my knowledge. We didn't use them, so I can't comment on the cleanliness of them, and they seemed well maintained, but I was dreading that part of the trip. It's a small thing. But worth mentioning!

My kid's school had a field trip here this past Wednesday and unfortunately due to there being some crashes and traffic back up on the highway (even left early) we didn't make it there on time for the school's discount price (which is fine because I had planned on that to be a possibility as we had about a 2 hour drive to get Andersons.) This was our first time ever visiting and I thought it wa a bit expensive just to get in even on a weekday. I think we only spent our time in the maze and the pumpkin patch. We were able to get some pictures from our walk to the patch and to the pumpkins and that was really about it. We had know idea how big this place was along with the maze, so unfortunately we were unable to check out much of anything else. We had to leave with in a couple hours of arrival because we had to get back on the highway before rush hour. Had I known how big it was I would have planned to be there all day. The pumpkins we got almost all were considered extra large pumpkins and I honestly didn't think that they were. The price of them was not bad though, but I guess everyone has a different opinion on what extra large is. Overall it's not a bad place, but it is just so big you really need to plan to be here all day.

There is a lot to do at this pumpkin patch! Food trucks on site, rides, games, souvenirs, face painting, haunted house, corn maze, private campfires, and so much more! Friendly and helpful staff, clean environment, and the pumpkin patch has a plethora of pumpkin types!
Brian Dauzat — Google review
We had a lovely time here at the Anderson Farms. Yes, it was super crowded for their Halloween season but there was still plenty of room to wander freely at the time, and many pumpkins to be picked for a reasonable price per pumpkin. The tractor ride to the patch was a nice experience for some of the city kids in our group who would otherwise not experience it on a regular basis. There were numerous food options too, although some of the food trucks/stands there had very long lines. Other highlights were the giant maze, cozy s'mores community fire pit, farm store with excellent products and pickles(!!), and the fantastic decor and photo ops on the grounds. Last but not least, every staff member we interacted with was friendly and seemed like they were having the time of their lives working there. Overall, a 10-star experience not so far from the city.
Pearl Street Mall is an upscale and popular pedestrian mall in downtown Boulder, Colorado. It features a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries, making it a great place to spend a day shopping or exploring. The mall also has an outdoor cafe area as well as free electric train rides for kids.
Just such a nice downtown area to shop and eat. I always take visitors here to give them the full Boulder experience. There's some great restaurants and bars. I like to go to Savannah Bee Company for the Mead flight they offer. I love the tulips and flowers all along it in the spring. Also fun to see street performers of all different varieties.

This was my second visit to Pearl St. and we loved it both times. There's honestly too many places to visit in one day. This outdoor shopping mall is nothing like I've been to in the Midwest (what I'm used to). The shops have something for everyone in them. The various bookstores and toy stores were my favorite. I especially enjoyed the Trident Booksellers and Cafe. Having the option to get my favorite drink and explore a unique bookstore is my favorite way to spend any day.

Our 1st time visiting Colorado so we wanted to explore and ended up at Pearl Street Mall. A few blocks of shops, restaurants, boutiques, Cafes, Gelato, Ice Cream & more. Such a nice walkway full of beautiful flower beds, plenty of benches... a peaceful feeling.
We had lunch at Pasta Jay's which was delicious! Then went on walking and shopping around at different stores, made a stop at Capital One Cafe for a nice latte, then off for ice cream... simply an amazing day here for us, so we're happy to have found it.

The Pearl Street Mall is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in Boulder! I love that it's not only a place for shopping and eating, but also entertainment and play! Boulder does an amazing job keeping it clean - and the flower beds well maintained. There are fun, one off, places for the kids to play and "get the wiggles out". Next time, I definitely want to let my kiddos play at the splash pad! I was very excited to introduce my kids to the Boulder Bookstore, and I am SO happy they loved it as much as I do!!

What a wonderful area. Tons of shops, everything you could possibly want. Plus, many restaurants of all different types. There were a lot of people there, but the size of the area, handles it very well. Plenty of security with the police strolling around with everyone, hardly notice they were there, but comfortable they were! We loved this whole area! Oh, and lots of parking garages and lots all around, that are free on the weekend! Cheers

Such a fun place to shop and explore. Tons of variety in both, something for everyone. Options to shop local, as well as the big name brands Nice, wide area between storefronts to accommodate the masses of people, even outdoor dining areas roped off from the passerby’s. It was beautifully landscaped. There was enjoyable street performers. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few hours and stroll, shop, people watch, eat or drink.

The ambience was also quite nice and we all loved just walking around and seeing the mountains and other shops in the Mall. The list of shops can be found at

Open concept mall(i.e. not like a traditional mall where all the shops are inside an enclosed giant building). The mall gives a vintage vibe with some exciting art performances. I bought postcards from Art Source International. The mall also has a public restroom which is virtually absent everywhere else in the town.

Boulder is such a quirky, hippy, dippy, little college town so if that's your vibe, they are your tribe! Pearl Street is such a staple and a must visit to get the Boulder experience. Eclectic shops, eateries, food trucks. Brazil Fest performs here, very late summer time frame as do other performers and creative outfits. I definitely appreciate the shout out to the LGBTQ on the pedestrian walk as featured in my clip. :)

While I was enjoying a magnificent coffee drink from Falafel King, I was lucky to witness the sweet train that goes by every few minutes. Give or take the university, this is probably the most famous site in Boulder, and rightly so. There is not much I can add to the mythology that has gathered around this mall, other than to say it demands to be seen for itself. Pictures are great but they do not do it justice. This mall is meant to be experienced the beauty and elegance of it, the lively and whimsical atmosphere that contains the spirit of the city of Boulder better than any other place, is not in any individual store or statue or statue or mural, regardless of how colorfully splashy and vibrant those places and sites might be, but in the experience of wandering through the street, exploring, allowing your mind to be overtaken by the symphony of impressions and sensations produced by such a place. Make sure to note even the little intricacies, such as the crosswalks that look like rushing rivers flowing over smooth rocks, capturing the outdoorsy and adventurous essence of Boulder.

The Boulder Creek Path is a scenic route for both cyclists and pedestrians, which runs alongside a creek. It passes through downtown stores and parks before leading into the stunning Boulder Canyon. CU Boulder is one of the oldest public universities in the United States, and its scenic campus is a major attraction for students. The university has produced Nobel laureates, MacArthur Fellows, and astronauts over the years. It's classified as an R1 University, which means it conducts the highest level of research. The Mahaffy Cache - ancient stone tools found in a Boulder backyard - is on display at this museum.
One of the most beautiful campuses I have visited. Spectacular landscape with mountains on the side, and the buildings are uniquely colored due to locally sourced limestone. Highly recommend for few hours to be spent here to anyone passing by Boulder.

The stately, majestic campus of one of the great universities of the American West. I must admit that I'm a little biased toward Colorado Boulder, having grown up in the Colorado front range region, but returning to this campus, I am even more impressed by its magnificence and its sprawling beauty than I was when I was younger. The campus is a wonderful, lively place to wander around and explore, seeing a variety of new sites ranging from a scale model of the solar system to a lovely little prairie like area that has carrots growing in it. This is a place that feels constantly surprising, and it's never boring when you are walking through it, yet the campus feels remarkably unified. Despite the differences in when the buildings were constructed, they all feel cohesive, and they all have that specific reddish-brown stone color that glows in the mountain sunlight, making the campus look both like a site for true learning and comprehension and a distinctly Colorado place that could not exist anywhere else. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area, and if you are considering going to the University of Colorado Boulder, I guarantee you that you will enjoy your time at this campus.

Boulder, Colorado was a place I wanted to visit at least once, and I knew that real estate would be expensive due to the large number of IT companies, which meant it would be safe.
The University of Boulder, located there, was also a place I actually longed to visit. Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal, but we drove through the campus, which had a very nice atmosphere. There were many fashionable stores around the school.

Surrounded by mountains and greenery, an awesome place to get your degree from!! Wintery days are gloomy but the mountains compensate for those once snow starts. The temp in peak winter (Feb-March) drops to as low as -25 degree C (-13 F). The spring brings a new life to the place and the beauty gets enhanced by blooming flowers all around.

I cannot personally attest to the academics here, but the campus was beautiful. I have two mates that go here, and they seem to really enjoy it if that counts for anything. The Front Range gets over 300 days of sun per year, and that is reflected in the red tile roofs and solar panels gracing them, very progressive of Colorado-Boulder. Worth a visit if in the area or hoping to enroll in the university, though one should note that it's a good distance away from Denver International Airport, and transportation should be arranged if you would like to make decent timing there since using public transport includes taking several busses and transfers.

Gorgeous lake by the airport! Went by here to kill some time before our flight! Colorado’s sunlit blue sky is reflected in the lake, which is partially frozen. There were many geese and they were loud! There are some trails around the lake. Nice place to take kids and/or dogs for a walk.
They allow boating, but it is now suspended due to the season. As this is a state park, they do charge ~$10 for a day pass. However, you can use the pass across state parks nearby!

There’s an archery range as well. Visitors may boat, fish, hike, bicycle, horseback ride, natural study, bird watch etc! There are picnic areas with tables and grills too. The full trail of the perimeter of the lake is 8.8 miles but there are shorter walks as well as easy trails.

If want to be on the water make sure you head out to where the boats go. Can bring your paddle boat. Place to fish. They got nice sand by the water it almost look like a beach but no waves.
Great place to watch the sunset. I suggest you bring bug spray or else you will get bitten by mosquitoes and other flying bugs.

Excellent. No idea why we’ve NEVER been here before!! It was 20 minutes from our door on 470! What?! Such a beautiful place! I grew up in the mountains and love walking in the trees and that’s sometimes a hard order to fill in the DM. But here you can walk in the trees AND be wowed by the incredible views of the Rockies. The nature center is awesome! We went to use the loo before we set out around the lake and ended up staying for about 30 minutes looking at the displays and especially matching names to the birds of prey to their faces. We live on the eastern edge of the bowl in SE Aurora and we have so many falcons and hawks that we don’t know the names of. So note we do! Very cool! And the Trak Chair Program?! I mean, WOW. Just blew our minds. My MIL had a stroke and was in a wheelchair for years. So many places were not accessible for her electric chair or just not accessible to a chair at all. She would have LOVED this program and this place!! I think this is amazing and would love to see it in action. What a wonderful, amazing, inclusive thing to implement. Wonderful job!!
We can’t wait to go back and explore more!

Such a gem of a park! Went here after dropping folks off at the airport and I wanted a break from the traffic. Beautiful party and education center with a lake, dam and lake trail. When the weather is warm I'm sure it's busy with boaters and fishing. But since it was cold and mid March I just got to share my walk with the birds and squirrels. The nesting eagle pair was the real highlight. And something I haven't seen before: trail accessible wheelchairs that can be reserved. Not paved trails for city wheelchairs, but motorized off-road style for folks to access the dirt trail. Great park!
Chautauqua Park is a park located in Boulder, Colorado that offers hikers and climbers a wide variety of trails to explore. The park is also known for its expansive lawn which is perfect for picnicking and sunbathing. In addition to its physical attractions, the park also has a number of cultural amenities, including theater and restaurants.
I LOVE CHAUTAUQUA PARK!!! I come to Chautauqua park a few times a month to either meet friends in the park or hike-it’s truly is a gorgeous place, and it always puts me in a good mood close to nature. I believe the statistic says that Chautauqua park is frequented more often than The Rocky Mountain National Park (which is about 40 min from Chautauqua in Estes). But if you are visiting the Boulder/Denver area, you should visit both, as they are both breathtaking and overall amazing places. Chautauqua is perfect for a family adventure, with friends, pretty much it’s perfect for any person who loves nature, mountains, and a great view! Sometimes I just grab a coffee and hike up the first part of the Chautauqua main trail. It can be pretty busy on weekends and holidays, so beware. The parking is good though, you just might have to walk a bit to get to the entrance if it’s a weekend-and most parking spaces nearby do make you pay. I also often bring my Alaskan Malamute, as it’s a dog-friendly trail, and she loves it! You won’t regret visiting this spectacular Boulder landmark, the flat irons are truly a sight to see and worth the trip!

We were told the Bear Canyon trail was the most known Boulder beginner hike. We brought our toddlers to do it with us! We went on a weekday and it was not busy.
Definitely a kid-friendly hiking experience, but a bit too much on the hills at the end. We ended up carrying them for about 1/3 of the way.
Gorgeous views - absolutely beautiful! The pictures I got were only with a smartphone camera.
We also saw a mid-size bull snake, a doe, cows, a plethora of birds and butterflies. The bugs were manageable without bug spray. Lots of plant species, flowers, rock specimens and natural landscape to observe if you're into natural history. A few little streams along the trail, and several shady spots to take a water break.
We did not see public restrooms or a place to get maps of the trail prior. We were able to download it to our phone before coming. Overall, an easy hike without kids and better suited for kids 6+ if you are doing the whole loop.

Beautiful place to see the Flatirons. We did not know what to expect so, no hiking shoes but the path was not bad and the trails are marked clearly. We did somehow encounter a few rough spots as we got to higher elevation due to the snowfall from a few days before. The blue trail especially, was a little rough and muddy. But when you do make it to the top, the view is breathless... no pun intended... 😆
It is worth taking the time to visit this park If you want beautiful photos and catch some wildlife.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our hike that afternoon.

I'm a creative based out of Denver and this is one of my favorite locations to shoot proposals in. The park is always clean and the views are unmatched. I really like how you can go easy or really advanced on the hiking trails. If you are looking for a great hike or something to do while in Boulder this is perfect for that. If you are someone looking to ask another person the most important question in your life this is a place I fully can recommend and it won't disappoint. Make sure you go at sunrise or sunset to avoid large crowds of people as the park is amazing and a lot of people like to go during certain times.

At Chautauqua Park and took the Royal Arch trail. A holiday weekend and the hike took us 5 hours to complete. Normal time is 3 to 3.5 hours to complete. It was beautiful day but just a little to crowded for us. Lots of dogs and lots of hikers equals log-jams and numerous points during the hike. But I'm not mad at anyone or anything crowded trails is a wonderful problem to have living in Colorado. I would recommend this park and it's many trails to all. The views are amazing and skill levels of all can hike a trail here. I can't wait to get back up, just maybe not during a holiday weekend next time.

This area was recommended to me as a good place to hike. It was very crowded on a sunny weekend at the end of March, but the hike was great! Still some snow and a lot of mud, but it was very scenic and enjoyable, especially with the great weather.

By far one of the best hikes in Boulder, you can easily spend all day here hiking and climbing up to the flatirons. There are several different trails for different levels and scenery. There are a couple of spots with picnic tables and restrooms. It gets alot colder at the top so I recommend bringing a jacket, it was also extremely icy in spots where you would just slide and could easily fall so be cautious!!

Our group of 4 did the route up to Royal Arch in the middle of April. This was a slightly technical hike, with a few spots you need to scramble up or down rocks to continue up the trail. We were happy to be in hiking boots and using trekking poles, but plenty of folks on the trail were in sneakers and not using poles, so it's fine for a casual outing. Some spots are a little slippery, but caution is all that's needed.
This hike is beautiful from start to finish! We started in the meadow, then the landscape shifted to evergreen woods with ample stone formations, interesting lichens, local spring ephemeral wildflowers, and underbrush growing in. We didn't see many bird varieties beyond a few magpies, but we did spot some mule deer, and most importantly, a Colorado chipmunk! There was still snow on the ground in places.
The arch itself is breathtaking, offering a sweeping vista that looks out across Boulder, with a great view of CU. Well worth the effort!

Beautiful park with access to hikes with great views of the flatirons and Royal Arch! Plenty of fun spaces and open fields for kids to play in as well!
Gift shop/coffee shop is cute and reasonably priced as well.

Stopped here for a hike and a picnic lunch. Parking was difficult as there was a wedding and a CU football home game in town. We were happy to find that there were a couple electric vehicle chargers on-site. Great water station and facility for the pups too!

Is breathe taking boulder mountain. Today was a perfect day for the hike to the Royal Arch..Took a bunch of pictures and talked to a bunch of nice people along the way.
Well, we took our time snack, enjoy nature and pictures. Is a steep hike, but everyone can do it. Do suggest a pair of good hiking shoes because the trail is rocky.
We felt like coming down hill a lot of impact on the feet.
Bring a good amount of water or some hydration pack, and protein drinks are a good start. We also brought coconut water.

Great hiking and plenty of options. The trails are labeled for difficulty and the overlap so it’s easy to change. Not super difficult and a decent amount of shade and breezes. Pretty views overlooking the city as well as the mountains.

The hiking here is fantastic and has easy to challenging terrain, beautiful flowers, and grand views. We arrived early on a cool morning and grabbed the last close-in parking spot ($2.50/hr -- There is a free shuttle and parking though.) Remember to bring a picnic lunch, sufficient water, sun screen and a bear whistle. Yes, bears are seen occasionally 🐻. After your hike, you will want to pull a blanket out of your car and sit under the trees until your parking expires to soak up every last moment of mountain sunshine. Be alert to your watch however because City of Boulder parking cops walk around continuously checking license plates for violators. It's a popular park and there is a steady stream of cars looking to grab your spot when you leave. We found 3 hours allows for a good hike and picnic/rest time. Enjoy!

Third time at this park and hiking the Royal Arch Trail. Always a great hike that’s challenging but not too difficult. Wasn’t overly crowded at all for a beautiful Saturday morning (went on Sept. 9th, 2023).

Fantastic park! Stunning mountains and lush trees make this hike a must have experience! It was too cold for me to really discover everything this area has to offer but will return in the spring to see just how gorgeous this place gets! (Update: IT’S WAY BETTER IN THE SPRING! True Colorado experience!)
Flagstaff Mountain, located in Boulder County, Colorado, is a popular hiking destination that offers stunning panoramic views of the city of Boulder and behind. The mountain also features a summit road offering access to the nature center at the top, which offers information about local flora and fauna. To get to the peak, take Flagstaff Road to Flagstaff Summit Road.
Very easy for a family of different abilities. We went with a group of 15 and we all had fun. Trails are easy to walk with incredible views of Boulder and the valley below. It can be a long adventure or a short. Bathrooms all around. Drive was beautiful up the mountain.

If you've been hanging around in Boulder for any length of time you've probably heard of something called flagstaff. Some company, or organization, or even some real estate parcel, the name Flagstaff is everywhere around here.
This is the Flagstaff that is mentioned and referenced with all those other names. So if you want to do Boulder right you kind of need to come here immediately.
Even if you've only got an extra half hour for lunch, drive up and have your lunch in the parking lot with one of the most amazing views that you'll get anywhere.
I can't imagine what early folks must have thought when they came upon this view. Truly a place to do some deep thinking if you're so inclined.

This place is amazing. The view is always jaw dropping. Make it to the top, oneside has an amazing view of the city of Boulder and beyond, wonder the other way and enjoy a fantastic view into the rockies. Everytime I come to Boulder it's the first thing I do.

We only went up mountain to the first parking area. Beautiful scenic view of Boulder and surrounding area for many miles. Also, great view of Flatiron formations to south. The area is well maintained. We were there in first week of March, in between snow events, so the road up was accessible to all vehicles. If snow is present, I understand some vehicles are limited. The access road begins at a great open space hiking area.

This is a great hiking area that has a multitude of beautiful lookout spots. Only a few minutes from Boulder, it’s a quick and convenient getaway. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching a sunset here is a great experience. I highly recommend coming to Flagstaff Mountain and trying out the various hiking trails available. You can also have a picnic! They even have wheelchair trails!

The Flatirons is an iconic mountain peak that can be seen from pretty much anywhere in Boulder, Colorado. The flat, slab-like peaks are a popular rock climbing destination, and the area also has dozens of hiking trails that take tourists into the surrounding foothills.
An area of outstanding natural beauty with well marked hiking trails, some of which are suitable to walk on even in snowy conditions. Not to be missed if you're in the area!!

Intermediate level; for beginners hike may seem intimidating as the incline begins pretty quickly from the trailhead, but keep going! The views are totally worth it. We took the Chautauqua trail-Flatiron 2/3 hike up and the Bluebird-Baird trail down. Enjoy the hike!

This trail kicked my butt. Visiting from the east coast and not used to the elevation. Also, there are some ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING parts of this trail that the locals cross with ease. My husband and I were looking at parts of the trails that look like the left overs of a massive rock slide and not a trail at all. Haha still beautiful and very rewarding to finish. If you hike a lot maybe you won't have as hard of a time as I did! The actual flatiron itself and not the trail....yeah that's never gonna happen. I'm convinced people from Colorado have goat legs.

Absolutely breathtaking! I am an avid hiker but I'm typically on the Appalachian trail. This was the most beautiful thing that I've ever seen in my life lol. If I didn't have the proof that I was actually here I feel like I look photoshopped in these photos, that's how unreal and beautiful everything is.

Breathtaking Flatirons area is a must when visiting Boulder. Beautiful views, hiking trails of different difficulty levels. Wear good shoes, bring water, lease your dogs. Be aware that you are at high altitude! Paid parking lot is available, but there are few spots, parking could get complicated.

I'll never travel to Denver without this trip planner again
NCAR Mesa Laboratory is a federally funded research institute that works on weather, atmosphere and their science. It is located in the Rocky Mountains, near Denver, Colorado. The place has high-tech exhibits on earth sciences and provides public tours as well as school field trips.
Very nice building designed by the famous architect I. M. Pie. It’s not open to public (due to Covid?), but the trail around it has stunning views.

I’m in town for a conference and was looking for popular places to visit. This is my first time in Boulder.
I ran across this place and saw it had great reviews so I decided to check it out.
The drive was very pretty up to the facility.
There is plenty of parking in the huge free lot.
The facility is free and open to the public. The first and second floor has a variety of exhibits which are very interesting if you are interested in how climate happens. I found it all entertaining and informative. I would recommend this to all ages especially the hands on demos at the exhibits.

NCAR is one of the most premier laboratory in the USA engaged in atmospheric research. It is located in one of the most picturesque locations in Boulder, right at the foothills of flatiron mountain. The small exhibition hall is great for kids to learn about our atmosphere and climate change. This place is popular among locals for hiking and cycling. They have plenty of parking. Will recommend this place to everyone.

Nice place to learn about the weather. Many hands on exhibits for kids. Theater has several movies, including boulder flood from 2013, wild fires, hurricanes, etc.
A library and a cafe open during the week. Free entrance and free parking. You can go for a hike from here too.
They recently re-opened the building for the public.
I believe it is open 7 days a week.
Could be a nice way to spend a day - hike in the morning, eat lunch and explore the building in the pm.

I had a museum day and this place was the surprise hit of the day! First of all, it's a fantastically beautiful location, up on Table Mesa with trails and views down into Boulder - it's really amazing. Second, the building itself is astounding. Built by architect I.M. Pei, it's unusual and beautiful, yet suits its surroundings perfectly.
Inside, there is a museum on atmospheric research, which I didn't think I would be too interested in, but it's more like a hands-on science museum. You can plunge your hands into a cloud, you can control a cyclone, you can make choices and get a score on your environmental impact. There's also a small theater at the end of the hall and I found it really interesting to learn about the flooding in Boulder and how they've used the walk/bike trails to help control excessive rain in the future. It's a more than usually fun place to visit, very colorful and engaging.

This is my third visit—every time I learn something new. Today it was a new cloud form that I often see here called lenticular. They’re really beautiful and unique. It’s always fun to play with the displays, especially the cloud maker. The building was designed by the architect IM Pei. It’s in the most beautiful setting. Save time for a hike.

The drive up to the beautiful building is great, and gets you into the mood for a great experience. The view once you are at the center parking lot is amazing. Then you get to enter a beautiful building and experience an interactive weather exhibit that is small but in depth. My 9 year old and 19 year old both liked the experience.

Such an awesome educational place to visit, and what a beautiful place for them to be! The views from the lab building and also from the trails behind it are stunning. The parking is free and there is an electric charger (paid, but it's pretty cheap) in the lot. We've never had trouble parking here; the lot is a decent size. Inside the building, there are a bunch of exhibits and lots to learn about! I'd say this place wouldn't be ideal for very young kids, but maybe middle-school aged would be perfect. There was a lot of information listed at each stop along the way - which is awesome for adults. We literally loved that... But we didn't think kids would care to read each board the way that we did. Either way, we had a great time and would go here again with visitors.
Puzzle Effect was great! We did the Curse of the Emerald Seas room for my birthday and had a blast! I really liked all of the special effects and realism brought to the room. They also sell escape room games and merch up front, which is awesome! My only complaint was that the puzzles in the room had to be done one at a time, so for our group of 5 some of us had to kind of stand around and wait for the solution in order to continue. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely come back!

Super fun escape room if you’re looking for something to do. A great mix of challenge and simplicity making your way through the room. Excellent design in the rooms. She was a gracious host, very friendly to talk with and have guide us through the rooms. Highly recommend!

My mom got me a gift card for Christmas because she knows how much we like this place and it was for two people to do an escape room and unfortunately due to a price change in the last few months we couldn’t use it for the room. They told us on the phone they would honor it but in person said they couldn’t. I understand a price change but if you’ve said it’ll cover a room for 2 I do think you should honor it. Maybe just sell them telling a dollar amount only and not saying it’ll cover a room for two because she wasn’t thrilled about it only a few months later. We heard them talking about it in the back room and it just kind of left a bad taste in our mouth personally. The woman who ran our game was incredibly nice though and we really liked her!

Great escape rooms. They are really well designed, and the game Masters monitor you and provide guidance as needed so you don't have to ask for clues and worry about how many hints you have left.
We did:
Ned's Naughty List- perfect for the holidays, and really great for kids.
Grimms Stacks- This one had Harry Potter/Fantasy Vibes and really fun clue chains.
The Path- Possibly the most unique puzzle room I have ever done. I don't want to spoil anything, but there are no locks, just secrets! It's brilliant.

This was my first time doing an escape room experience and it was really fun! There were five in my group and we did the Amnesia room. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. Clues were provided at really appropriate times. It lasted an hour and it came down to the very last second for my group. Everyone in my group enjoyed it and said they'd do it again. Would be great for a work outing or team building exercise.
I failed to mention in my initial post that our Game Master was Shayla. She was very welcoming and did a great job explaining the game and providing helpful clues and just the right moment. Thank you Shayla!

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! Today we did Emerald Seas, and our game master, Jade, was awesome. We like Puzzle Effect over other escape rooms, because the bookings are always reserved for just your group. We never have to worry about being paired with strangers. The workers are very friendly & make it very comfortable for you. If you need extra time and don't finish with in the hour they give another 10 minutes. I have never done a breakout room before. Puzzle Effect was a great first experience. I went with my 13 year old daughter on a Daddy / Daughter event. It was a great way to have fun together and exercise our brains. The RESCUE breakout was perfect. It was challenging and intriguing and the clues given during the event were perfect. We finished the challenge with 16 seconds left and that was super exciting. I would definitely recommend Puzzle Effect to anyone looking to enjoy the breakout room experience.

First off, I wanted to thank Shayla for being an amazing game master.
I stopped by Puzzle Effect during my layover in Denver and was not disappointed. Shayla was kind and respectful to my requests and was attentive when I asked for help, and only chimed in one time when I was entering something in wrong. She answered all my questions about the room, and the business.
I have played 100 rooms and I ended up playing The Reel (by myself). I asked for two clues - which I kicked myself for not getting on my own. I still can't believe Puzzle Effect lets customers bring in cell phones and freely take pictures while playing the game - so wild. There were a couple puzzles that I have never seen before, so that is always a neat treat.
Had fun. I would say the group size should stay around 4, there are some tighter spaces to navigate through. Plus, if you enjoy escape rooms for the problem solving, then you will want to be able to experience all the puzzles. Their other rooms look neat. I would definitely visit again if I ever end up in the Denver area again.

We had so much fun here that we stayed to play a second room! We played the Grim Books and The Path and loved both! The Path was the first room we’ve ever played that doesn’t use locks and works only off of magnets and other technology. It was so challenging in the best way! We also love how rooms are private, even with only three of us playing and you don’t need to pay extra or take the chance of playing with strangers. Will definitely be back to play the other rooms.

This place really is the best place especially if you're just trying out escape rooms. A lot of rooms with cool themes, and the design of puzzles is great. They really are a tier above the rest in many ways. The main thing is that the gamemasters understand that the whole point is for everyone to have fun. The hints have always been good and shows that they are paying attention and not just canned hints regardless of what you are doing. Most escape rooms do not allow pictures and puzzle effect encourages you to take many pictures. Highly recommend puzzle effect over many of the other escape rooms around here.

My husband took me here for my birthday and it was our first time doing an escape room and it was so much fun! Paige was our game master and she was fantastic. She gave us the clues at the perfect times and we finished the room with 4 minutes to spare! The rooms are very thoughtful and well done and quite challenging (we picked a “more challenging” room).
Completing a challenging escape room with a few minutes to spare really makes you feel accomplished. Thank you Paige for looking out for us and giving clues that pointed us in the right direction while not giving away too much. I haven’t had a more fun birthday since I was a kid.

Boondocks Food and Fun is a family amusement center that features laser tag, an arcade, a roller coaster simulator and mini golf plus grill eats. It's also known for its good food which is fair compared to most theme parks.
I had a fun visit to Boondocks with family recently. The restaurant's food was yummy, with something for all ages and even picky eaters. Funnel cake fries are incredible! (I truly suggest eating this dessert first, with your meal.) Arcade money included with combo meals didn't stretch very far, but it was fun while it lasted and there was so much else to do. The bowling was a blast, and I enjoyed the laser tag. Little ones had fun in bumper boats, and all ages liked go karts and mini golf. Great night at a fun place!

Went here with some friends and the experience was fine. We’re all in our 20s, and we were just met with a lot of push back from the staff.
We asked to ride the go-karts and instead of telling us they were going to take 15 minutes to get working we were called B**ches and talked negatively about. Then when we were bowling they kept ignoring us when we called for help, until one of us went up. The laser tag employee was super nice, and made it worth the experience.
Overall: this place is so much fun but we definitely felt like an inconvenience.

Despite the arcade having some network connectivity issues we still had a blast, Marcos, a staff member who seems to wear a lot of hats at the location, made sure my son had a great time on his birthday. I really appreciated his help and I could tell he was having a rough time getting things working and dealing with multiple tech issues. He was still nice. Maybe it’s just me, but I came here to say that. So many people just don’t appreciate how hard it can be and I saw several individuals and entire families treating the staff horribly, he was unfazed. He remained kind and courteous and took the time to help a 9 year old on his birthday get his tickets out of a jammed up machine. Thank you Marcos, I’ll remember that forever, keep that positive energy!

At the end of our vacation I gave my son a Yes day, he had been wanting to do go carts for a while. I found this place near our hotel so we stopped in here. It was a Thursday and they had a really good deal of all you can do activities for a certain fee for 4 hours. That was perfect. He got to enjoy everything.
My only complaint was the restaurant we stopped there for some dinner after we finished our activities. The server almost never came back to the table we were not given any silverware the table behind us didn’t get guac for his guac burger he also had to hunt someone down to help him. When she came to the table she was very nice but she almost never came to the tables. I saw this among several tables. We had to chase them down just to pay so we could leave. It seemed everyone was hanging around and focusing on those at the bar, my guess is they assume the tips are there. The food was OK there seemed to be enough servers available just not enough interested working the dinning room tables.
The people helping at all the other stations bowling, karts, etc were all nice and helpful.
If were in Denver area again we will stop by again as it was a great all in one location.

Slow! Slow go carts, slow service, half the games were out of order, slow slow slow!
The air hockey game didn’t have a puck.
No one was at the laser tag entrance to answer questions or get us started.
The food service while bowling took forever, we bowled an entire game before we got served. The pin resetter broke on our second game and no one ever fixed it.
It took almost twenty minutes to cash in our tickets we won from the arcade at the end.
The go carts were the most disappointing however. I’ve never seen such slow go carts.
It’s a shame, this place has so much potential, but is rife with incompetence.

The bowling alley here was super dope. Music selection was on point. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. We didnt order food but the menu has plenty of options available. The overall price per game is reasonable as well.
Visited this place on a Saturday night, a lot of kids and teens out but they were cool in their own zone. There's a number of things to do here to enjoy as a couple, group or family.

Place looks exciting and all but the price just is not worth it. We paid over 200 dollars for 5 of us, even was charged for our 2 year old. We did the 4 hour unlimited but the wait was so long for some of the attractions that it felt like we really didn’t do anything. They couldn’t even provide the 3D glasses for one of the attractions they disinfected the glasses and kept reusing them which made it hard to see out of them anyway, with that price there is no reason that each person could not have been given a pair of glasses to use for the time of being there. Overall I don’t think it’s a great place which is my opinion.

Arcade had a good variety of new machines. Mini golf was fun, although the courses were a bit repetitive. Rope course and karts looked fun. Clean and good service. Was like $9 per attraction, with a combo available for $45.

What a great location to have some fun, and it's all packed into the same location. Awesome ropes course that will keep the kids occupied for an hour or so. It has a really nice bowling ally. I'll be honest I didn't try it this go round because of time, but I have tried it before. They have miniature golf and laser tag. The best part, of course their huge arcade. The only downside is it can be a bit expensive. But for me the cost was worth the time.

Completely under staffed. The owner and manager should be ashamed of them self. I have never seen so many upset customers in one place in my life. There should have been 3 bartenders and 6 servers for the number of people. Instead, one bartender and one server. On a Friday night..... These poor employees I feel terrible for them. The food was good, that's why I'm giving them 2 stars, but I'll never return and I highly don't recommend working here.

We had a nice time playing mini golf today (two adults). It wasn't super busy on a Wednesday at noon in the summer. Will definitely go back!

The kids enjoyed it, so in and of itself I cant complain much. Attractions were mid, staff seemed like they hated being there. In general it was over priced, crowded, lack luster. What can one really expect though?
Kids had fun, thats important.

My family and I have a great experience when we come here. The prices for the movie you can't beat which are $6 and $8 depending on the day. The food is good as well. We order pizza and cheese sticks and they are good. We have always found the staff to be very friendly. Everyone will have a different experience but we have been here for many years and so far fantastic!!

Located inside of a mini mall area, this theatre almost feels like the Elvis theatre on Hampden in Denver, CO. There's a slight rancid smell that's not necessarily from the theatre, but the entrance of the mall. You walk all the way back to get to the concession/ticket counter. The concession stand really is for show, because you can just order your full menu in the theatre. We got our tickets and went to theatre #4. Now, I will say the seats did look as if a collection of people had sex, gave birth, and then died in the seats and nobody thought to shampoo to hide the evidence. Bring an old jacket to sit on them with. THERE IS NO SERVICE BUTTON to call the servers, but they printed all the ordering sheets and are saving paper I guess. It's supposed to be like Alamo Drafthouse where you stand the sheet up with your order written on it and the server will see it and come by. The seats were quite low, so it made it a tad difficult to see the screen with the table and food in the way. They have paper towel rolls under each table which is a nice touch even Alamo Drafthouse hasn't done. Service was great for us, got our food in a timely manner, they were out of a lot of main entrees when we went (of course we did see the last show of the night, but that doesn't necessarily excuse them for not being prepared daily for an amount of customers). The food prices are on the higher side, but what theatre or airport doesn't over charge for their food? Their menu names are very cute and shows they took the time to be creative. Their cookies are AMAZING! For being a dinner theatre showing NEW-RELEASE/RECENT movies and only charging $6.75 a ticket, I give them high praise for what they've accomplished. I'm only giving them 4 stars due to the afterbirth-stained seats. There's no reason they can't schedule a monthly or quarterly shampooing of these disgusting seats. Other than that, great place for a date or family night!

Nice place. A bit pricey but ya gotta remember they bring it to your seat in the theater plus your drinks. Nice place. Me and my fiancé absolutely loved it. Definitely going to become a regular!!

Worst dining experience I've had all year. Overpriced and poor service. $8 for a cold bowl of popcorn. Food took 50 minutes, overcooked and bland. $4 per drink which took 20 minute + to get refills. Finally, they billed my card the wrong ticket charging me $87 instead of $76. Supposedly they refunded the $87 and charged the $76 but its been six days and both charges are still taken out of my account totaling $163 for a terrible dinner for 3 people. So now I have to go back later. I've been here once before didn't enjoy it then either. Needless to say this will be the last.

A nice change for dinner and a movie all at once. Our service was good and it was different looking up to the movie screen. I like that we could relax and eat. It was tough eating gluten free there, when I asked for my sandwich without bread, I got floppy lettuce, for $2.00 extra-since when does a head of lettuce even cost that much? Then I asked for utensils and was told they don't have knives? I will probably eat before we go again, which is just something I have to do with certain places.

I have always had a good experience here. The movie lineups are usually recently released movies and they have a good variety to choose from. This location also had 3D! The screen size is not the best for 3d but worth it for the price. They provide a menu to view when seated and you write down what you want, then a server comes and gets your order and brings your food later. Its just as easy as it sounds, almost like going to a restaurant. Good customer service. The price for food is kind of high but it balances out the good ticket prices. Close to the highway and lots of other shops near by. Def a theater to check out.

The only good thing about this theater, is the low cost of movies. Do not bother ordering anything off the menu. The prices are outrageous for prepackaged and heated food. Burgers are a processed meat party. The popcorn even tastes terrible, and drinks are rarely ever brought to your seating area until the credits are rolling at the end of the oboe. Then the servers expect you to pay for something you haven't even had the chance to enjoy. All I ever see working at this theater are teenagers who aren't allowed to serve alcohol. Great place to take the family for a top box office movie. Just don't bother with the service after paying for your movie. There's no service beyond that.
Robert Ketterman — Google review
Took over 45 minutes to get my drink and we had to remind the server twice about it as well as a refill on our popcorn. The theatre was not that busy either. Prices are good and the popcorn is the best because they use real butter.
The Butterfly Pavilion is one of the top zoos in the country, home to more than 1500 butterflies. The zoo has five indoor exhibit halls as well as beautiful outdoor gardens and winding nature trails. There are also exhibits focused on spiders and ocean invertebrates.
I absolutely love it here! Friendly for all ages and easy to get to. The main attraction (the large atrium) is like walking into a fairytale. The paths are fully lined with greenery and of course, butterflies galore! There are so many different types flying around, and they gladly land on you. There is a front area with all the types of butterflies in their cocoons at all stages. The rest of the building has great educational installations, including other bugs and fish. On Saturday's, they host a beautiful yoga class that is intimate and unlike any other practice.

Wonderful place to hang out. Awesome place to rest and enjoy the colorful flappers around you. Walk around for few minutes and be seated to enjoy them flying around you. You could be lucky if the butterflies sit on you.
Got some other caged insects and few aquarium displays on the side. You can enjoy the tarantula crawling on you hand.
Online reservation and ticketing is preferable compared to walk-in. We did not have issues with walk-in tickets either.

Loved going here enough to join and get a family membership. Definitely worth the price. Takes the pressure off trying to make the most of a trip and let you do things more leisurely pace for young children.
On our last visit our grandchildren wanted to move pretty quickly through the spider and invertebrate sections to the butterfly area. We almost walked into a man standing in the walkway holding his hand out. A beautiful butterfly had landed on his hand and he was showing it to us.
So much to learn there and a play area at the end with slides and other exhibits plus presentations makes this a sure to go to place.

I expected - and received a fabulous view of butterflies in a greenhouse setting. They were gorgeous! I did not expect the aquatic exhibit and it was a pleasant surprise. It was also fun to hold Rosie, the tarantula. We were a party of 6 ranging in ages from 10 to 77 and a good time was had by all.

Beautiful place! It was a fun time for the whole family to learn about bugs.
We got to hold a tarantula while learning about the species. There was a whole room dedicated to different kinds of beetles and even an aquatics space.
Best part by FAR was stepping into the butterfly room. So many kinds just flying around makes you feel like you're in a fairytale.
It was worth the cost and time it took to get there driving from a different city.

The butterfly pavilion exceeded all our expectations!
The pavilion itself was beautifully designed, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers that created the perfect atmosphere for the butterflies to thrive.
We were greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors as the butterflies gracefully fluttered around us. This is a magical place that offers a peaceful escape from the outside world. I highly recommend visiting this gem of nature's beauty.

🦋 The Butterflies of Course... They are Beautiful & Big - So Many Different Colors This place is Amazing! The Butterfly Garden is Therapeutic 🦋 There is much more than Butterflies offered here, there is a Wide Range of Tarantulas on Display & Rosie you can Actually hold and Touch. There are Crab and Starfish you can pet. There's So Much Excitement and Interesting things packed into this little building you won't be Disappointed. FYI Field Trips are usually happening during the week, so it's an excess of kids before 1pm.

This was a really cool experience, but it's a little small for the admission fee. I don't mind supporting their mission, though. It was fun to see the various interesting insects (not just butterflies!), hold Rosie the tarantula, pet the horseshoe crabs, and even learn about shrimp and coral.
Of course the butterfly pavilion portion was the highlight. We were able to wander around and observe in wonder all the beautiful, delicate creatures around us. It was quite serene. Sweet to see the kids too.

Great place to visit but a bit small for the admission fee ($15 per adult). We were happy to find that beyond butterflies there were also small exhibits of other insects as well as some sea creatures. That being said both exhibits were quite small and the butterflies were the star of the show. The butterfly area took up the majority of the floor space and it was great fun to see a wide variety of butterflies thriving despite still freezing weather outside. There were tons of families with small children and it seemed to be a great place to bring kids as there were several interactive exhibits as well as a sizeable play area. Overall I think the pavilion is worth a visit for anyone but especially those with small children.

Weekends are usually very busy even first thing in the morning . If your able to go on a weekday I would definitely recommend it.
The butterfly area is large with many pathways. The butterflies have feeders and live plants all throughout giving you a chance to see them even if there's a lot of people. There is also a butterfly release that you can watch the handlers bring in newly emerged butterflies. It is quite warm and humid so be prepared to loose a layer in there.
The indoor playground is clean and easy to see your kids with a small area for babies and toddlers.

Enjoyed our visit on a Sunday at 2pm at 68 degrees (perfect temp) we were in the area after a United States baton twirling association competition and wanted to spend time at a good place. Hold Rosie the Tarantula see some other species a few tanks with fish.
Not as big as I thought and not as many butterflies as I thought either but still a good place.
I’ve heard the butterflies land on you but we seen one person that had a butterfly on her hand (the two big white butterflies) but they don’t land on you. She had a white shirt with flowers on it. FYI
There are a few benches to sit but people were sitting in them and didn’t move to let others sit.
Gift shop prices are outrageous
We were there for 1.5 hours and that was good enough.
First and only experience but that was good enough :)

A beautiful spot to view beautiful invertebrates and hear some fascinating stories about them. There is a hatching area near the entrance and if you are patient enough you’ll see some emerge and spread their wings. My favorite is the yoga classes a on Saturday morning. There is nothing like stretching into a pose and having two beautiful butterflies dance over your head. Ellen, the teacher, is a delight, the class is for beginners to try and advanced to deepen their technique, and the laughter section at the end is just amazing! A cute gift store, fantastic staff and much parking.

It was a magical place, from the entrance with the bees and spiders and scorpions, and Rosie(:D), to being able to touch some sea stars and horseshoe crabs, and knowing that they've got a safe space to get inside if they get overwhelmed is amazingly considerate. Then on to the Wings of the Tropics. It was GORGEOUS. Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe it, words barely hold any meaning for this place. It truly feels otherworldly, and I had the pleasure of taking someone there for their very first time! I think everyone should go at least once just get an experience out of it, and the gift shop has you really engaged with items ranging from plushies for the younger kids, to Legos, to some framed beauties that you can display around your house. Will definitely be going again soon. Oh, and the best part? Even in the middle of December, the 22nd is when I visited, it's still nice and warm and safe for all their creatures. Much love to these hard workers 💘

My fiancée surprised me with 2 tickets. We were very excited to come and see all the cool creatures they have. The amount of butterflies is awesome you will see all kinds. I also bought her a framed monarch from the store. I highly recommend going here for some relaxation and great views.
