Always a good time at the farmpark. No matter what season it is there's something going on. The kids love seeing the horses, pigs, goats, sheep, bunnies and more! As a bonus, there's a large playground that's always a fan favorite with the kids. Be sure to visit the milk cows but beware, sometimes they can be quite gassy! 😂

Great experience for All types of families. Cow parlor milking events wonderful for all ages. A great outdoor dog and sheep show is also a great joy. Indoor pony and horse shows, rides and views! Tractor rides to get around the acres of fun things to do. Experience what Goats, Sheep, Pigs, Horses and cows are all about. Stop at one of the many outdoor playgrounds to take a break & watch your children play! Wholesome family fun! Truly a great experience that you will want to come back.

Visited for the first time today for Lamb Jam. It was cold and rainy, but that didn't damper the day at all. We had a blast. Such a cool place. Hoping to come back when it is warmer and drier to explore more.
Lauren Delgado — Google review
Great place to bring kids and teach them about farm animals while also letting them have fun with tractor rides, pony rides, playground, mini doughnuts, and more. Affordable entry and once inside most activities everything pony rides are included. The schedule for activities is posted on the website.
Not much for food options so recommend bringing a picnic lunch if you're planning on staying the whole day.

Had an AWSOME time with the kids, lots of farm animals to see, plus they are friendly and safe to pet. Will go back again soon 💯 recommend

Great family venue to experience many aspects of American farming. Many interesting events through the year, like the Vintage Power Expo or farmpark family days

Took our 3 year old here and she absolutely loved it! Very clean, organized, and variety of activities.

First time here again since I was just a wee lad but this time DJ/MC a wedding at the mechanical barn on top the hill. Upon arrival the ladies at the customer service desk were super nice and helpful. The event coordinator was on top of things. It’s a beautiful location for a very special day.

My girlfriend and I went and had a blast. So many beautiful displays. They also had a radio station to tune in that would play music for each section you drive through. Great time and Great lights. I have definitely become a yearly visitor .

Great environment. Friendly staff. Happy animals.
A truly wonderful experience where you can experience a pleasant well kept environment and lovely animals. The staff had great recommendations and were super friendly and welcoming. We got to pet the cows (Maggie, Lola, Dot and many more), the sheep shearing event was already over sadly. The goats and bunnies were lively and allowed us a lot of time to enjoy their furry goodness. Their tiny train tracks and little village were awesome too!
All in all, great well kept environment to take the entire family on a fun animal adventure. 100% recommend!

Had a great time with my family! So much to see and very educational! Much more fun than going to a zoo.
Plan on spending several hours in order to see all the exhibits and the different showings We really enjoyed seeing the border collies herd the sheep. And the cow milking is definitely something you will not see everywhere.
We drove from Akron and it was worth the drive!
Was definitely impressed! So much more than I had anticipated!!!!

We visited in the winter without planning around exhibits (and with limited physical capabilities) and had a fantastic time! I recommend family passes for my kids and grandkids. My grandkids loved this place and I can only imagine what it's like spring - fall!
The staff are incredible! (Many are volunteers.) They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The animals obviously well cared for and they have a great farm variety. (Maybe add lamas and emus?)
The exhibitions are very informative, up close (but safe distance), and relaxed. The playgrounds and picnic areas are fantastic! But nothing beats the baby animals!
Pamela Eveland — Google review
The place was stunning. I loved the lights, the decoration, and the organization! Everything was perfect.
Awesome place to get out and explore, hold an event, or just visit any season! It's awesome to walk the gardens in the different seasons, the restrooms are clean, and safe feeling. It is a huge place so plan some time, or multiple visits and you may want to bring some lunch! They have vending machines with several options, and a small gift shop. There is plenty of room for bringing a picnic lunch, and saw at least one charcoal grill by a shelter. The gardens are beautiful, and filled with surprises from the wildlife, to all the trees, and flowers! Plenty of benches to take a rest most shaded, some picture perfect spots to rest and take it all in also. Some of the trails are a little warm in the sun, but also a good choice of shaded trails as well. They are pet friendly but no pets on any structures. We did not try the walk or tower this time but minimal crowds there this spring! The paths are easily walkable, and seemed stroller/wheelchair friendly in most places...obviously excluding the wooded trails, etc. I highly recommend coming to see the Holden Arboretum!

Was able to get out and enjoy the 70 degree day! Paths were well tended. So thankful we have this living museum to enjoy just outside of Cleveland! Been members for years. Wonderful investment!

A 100% must visit if you love flowers, lakes, and nature trails. Super clean and well kept, with lots of short trails any member of the family could complete as a chill stroll through some lovely flowers along tiny lakes scattered throughout the park. Along each trail there are quaint wooden benches to rest. There are lots of geese and fish in each of the tiny lakes, and there are some canopy areas for larger groups. The prices are not that bad and if needed reserved areas can be booked for special occassions. The restrooms are some of the cleanest I've seen and they allow pets provided you clean up after them. Their picnic and BBQ grilling area is really lovely as well, with lots of tables under some shaded trees along a small lake. The weekends are probably thr busiest, but still worth the scenic drive to get there. Their friendly staff are all amazing as well.
100% recommend!

This is my favorite place on earth.
Go. Just go.
I think I'm finally going to buy a membership in 2023. I live about an hour away but each time I go it's a new adventure, something to see around every corner. I've visited during every season and love it more each time.
So many events going on, ample parking, and the absolute best way to spend an entire day. Bring a picnic and enjoy everything Holden has to offer!!
Molly Smith — Google review
Beautiful gardens, meticulously maintained grounds, impressive Lego displays perfectly displayed throughout the property. Amazing views from the tree top tower! We came on a day with food trucks and vendors in the front green space area. Otherwise you should plan on bringing a picnic basket. One other thing, their Lilly pad flowers are pink, not white, we've never seen that before.
Sal Talarico — Google review
What a wonderful experience! This is something for everyone and of all ages. They have guided tours on carts for those who don't want to walk. We walked 4 miles total on the day and didn't even actually make it entirely around everything. We did get to see and enjoy most of it, however. There is a nice restroom about in the middle with some water fountains and some port-o-potties in other places. There was a water bottle refill station by the visitors center and plenty of restrooms. They have some snacks, beverages, and even salads to purchase, but we planned ahead and brought our own snacks and beverages. Just plan on being outside, walking for quite some time. Remember to check the weather. Kyle loved the Canopy Walk and Emergent Tower. What a view! We also really enjoyed Buckeye Buds Adventure Woods. It was a long day, but it was an awesome day! We'll be back as everything changes throughout the seasons!
Matthew Truett — Google review
Beautiful place. Great views. I was expecting more wildlife, but that's beyond the arboretum's control. They could, however, have more restroom facilities... While the ONE they did have was clean, it was entirely not enough for the bustling day full of patrons. We did see 2 mobile potties, but those were a HARD pass.
Nakita Benjamin — Google review
We visited in early spring, so things were just starting to bloom, and it wasn't too busy. There were no waits for the canopy or tower. They have miles of walking trails, and lots to see. We, packed a lunch, had a picnic, and some exercise. They also have trams, so those with mobility issues can also enjoy the park We highly recommend a visit.
Christine C — Google review
Amazing place to hike, the tower and the walk up in the trees were our favorite, if you have kids this is a great place to get out and hike! I recommend you visit in the fall when the leaves are changing.
After climbing the tower I was surprised I can see Lake Erie such beautiful sights and memories made, if you love the outdoors don’t miss taking a trip to see Holden Arboretum!
Andrew Mizener — Google review
This is one of my favorite spots in NE Ohio. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking during spring, summer & fall. It's open year round for hiking which is great. The staff is always friendly & helpful. The events are usually very cool & the Adventure woods are perfect for kids. Membership is worth the price if you love to be outdoors or take your kids outside. If you're a photographer this Membership is a must. The membership can also get you into other gardens across the U.S. & the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
JM Miller — Google review
Absolutely love Holden Arboretum. So well kept. Lots of trail options appropriate for all ages. The gardens are just beautiful. Currently they have Lego art on display. Very cool even for adults. I do recommend a membership which also includes the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Well worth the price.

"Holden Arboretum is truly a wonder. The park boasts an incredible variety of flowers and trees, making every step a delightful journey through nature's beauty. Personally, I was captivated by the enchanting butterfly garden and the scenic wooden tower, which provided stunning views of the landscape.
What adds to the charm of this place are the serene ponds that dot the park, creating a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The staff here are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
I left Holden Arboretum with a sense of awe and a promise to myself to return soon. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be explored time and time again."

A delightful place! I came on a Halloween weekend. The flowers were out of season, but the trees were in their full foliage glory, with every color of the autumn spectrum. It was a gray and rainy day, so there weren't any lines for the treetop walk or the emergent canopy tower. Everything was well-maintained, with plenty of trails to enjoy. If you're looking for nature, fresh air, and beautiful views, definitely swing by!
Nikita Pavlov — Google review
We had a very nice walk despite intermittent drizzle and rain. The canopy walk was excellent and several of our group enjoyed climbing the tower for a panoramic view of the fall colors.
Scott Preece — Google review
Very nice long walk, make sure you have a phone, water and food. I like the observation tower but didn't make it to the top because of my two year old. I liked the canopy walk but it was very scary and it moves, creaks and groans. The park is big so expect to be here for awhile. I didn't get to see everything because I have a two year old who was getting grumpy. I love the bridges and the 🔵 berry 🫐 trail. Definitely recommend it to anyone

Beautiful place to interact with nature! A hit with my kids everytime we go!
Patti Miller — Google review
Not sure that middle-late September is the best time to visit an arboretum, but it worked out well for me. The crowd was minimal and I didn’t have to wait for any of the attractions. This place will be ablaze in fall color soon. The leaves are starting to give a nod to what is coming. It was also nice to see what perennials and shrubs still look good at this time of year. Notes taken for my own gardening plan and future purchases. Be prepared to walk! It’s a lot of acreage to cover!
David Trisel — Google review
We had such a fantastic time and love this place. We came as we had the day off for the holiday and I'm so glad we did. Despite the heat the whole location is just beautiful. I'm so happy we were able to come during the lego sculptures. We loved walked the trail and finding them. We wish we would have know we could bring our dog, but next time. We decided after this visit to become members as we will definitely want to visit again. Beautiful place.

Aurora Farms Premium Outlets

Factory Outlets
This place was adorable it's an outside mall and every shop is what looks like a historical house so beautifully architectured and had a pond in the middle of all the buildings where ducks lived and had machines you could buy food from to feed them !!!
Gina Sutton — Google review
Too busy and congested. Many of the stores aren’t even outlet stores so hardly any deals to find. I was astonished by how long the Nike store line was. I went to the other shoe store, 2 doors down and got a great deal on the same Nike shoes I wanted at the Nike store.
Vanessa Oh — Google review
Be prepared to walk! Wear some comfy shoes! You can easily spend hours here. Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade, Nike, Aerie, The North Face, etc.
Katarina D — Google review
I've been going to Aurora Farms since my grandma was alive. I've never seen it so desolate and abandoned looking over by Carter's and where the food court used to be. I miss the toy store, the Amish furniture store, the jewelery stores and Saks outlet...all gone. It used to be so vibrant. It was a ghost town on 4/3/22. My mind was flooded with wonderful memories of times past. I guess with time comes change in all things. 💔
Ms. T. — Google review
This place is advertised as a factory outlet. You'd expect to find some good bargains in a place like that. Well, unless you live nearby and have a good budget for expensive brands , don't waste your gas budget driving here. I went to many of the shops expecting a few bargain items from clearance shelves. You would totally expect at least a few but I'd call this a big rip off. Don't waste your gas and time!

Overall great variety of shopping available. The location is great and easy to find and access. Good sized parking area and plenty of handicapped spaces. I have not seen any shops that were not wheel chair accessible. Facilities are typically clean and well kept with public
vending available.
I think this is a great place to go for a day shopping trip (if you know, you know), but it could use a little TLC. I felt really bad for a few of the stores in mid-summer because their air conditioning was out but the staff were still wonderful regardless. Snow removal in winter seems decent, as well.
There is (really) good coffee and food available but could use a little more variety within the shopping center. In summer there was a nice little tropical snow stand.
danielle mendoza — Google review
Not crowded when we were there. Makes getting what you want and leaving very quickly
Michelle Bennett — Google review
Sad place now. Many vacant stores and few customers. The Tommy Hilfiger store was well stocked and organized but most of the others were not. I expect to see this turn into a housing development soon.
Maureen Corrigan — Google review
We understand now why it says ‘permanently closed’ when you search via Google. It’s not entirely closed but does look like a zombie apocalypse occurred sometime recently. There are some stores still open, worn down facade but open. Others are shuttered closed and overgrown with weeds and landscaping. The lake smells like death but once you walk past that with mouth closed you can make it to the outlets nextdoor that are less apocalyptic.
Audrey Bruun — Google review
Aurora Farms Outlet is a good place to go shopping if you want to find discounted brands and good deals. The mall is easy to get to and easy to find your way around. There are different kinds of stores to choose from, with both famous brands and smaller shops. The prices are lower than usual, but not everything is heavily discounted. The place is clean and well taken care of. However, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, which might make it less enjoyable. There aren't many places to eat, so it's a good idea to plan your meals in advance. If you're looking for cheap shopping and don't mind the crowds, Aurora Farms Outlet is worth a visit. Just be prepared for lots of people and don't expect everything to be super cheap.
Renan Dal Fabbro — Google review
Is got a beautiful setup, and with a little maintenance on the buildings, could be a even better. So many of the front buildings are empty, it's GOT to cut down foot traffic on the other stores that are up there. The back plaza is pretty full, bit boring to look at. There are public bathrooms, which is a nice feature of an outdoor facility... there's a good variety of stores, with some maintained/operated significantly better than others. Under armour... always clean and organized, but you feel as though you're ignored inside. North face is always disorganized and messy, but they are definitely not ignoring you... Though you probably need a bag or two of Cheetos to satisfy the cravings you get from the contact buzz you get inside. Columbia is always spot on, and Yankee candle has good seasonal deals. Overall a good experience, but Simon needs to work on filling out the front half, and maintaining some buildings.
Brian Schweitzer — Google review
We visited this mall a few years ago before Covid and it was great that time. Some how it looks not well maintained with a few stores closed. Overall not a great place to shop but for Nike and few other stores.
Vish Yerabati — Google review
Has a old town feel. Smaller stores but a good selection.
Lots of parking. Not too busy. Mostly just stores. There’s a small food court. One restaurant that was not open.
Little dirty and dated.
Meng Thao — Google review
I grew up going to Aurora Farms shopping at all the latest stores, sadly it has seen better days! I still go often mostly to just walk around and get some exercise. I miss how well maintained the property use to be. I hope plans to update is in the near future!

The Aurora Farms Premium Outlets are nestled in a nice calm area, featuring a good selection of factory stores. The shops are clean, comfortable and well maintained. There is ample parking all around. External improvements to the facade would be a big plus.
The stores don't get overcrowded. Its a nice place to walk around.
Alex Nevermind — Google review
Overall a fun place to go. Wish there was more kid stores, the children's place had tons and tons of kids graphic shirts, which is what I was looking for, but barely and shorts. The employees also never greeted us as we entered, kind of rude. Went to carter's for shorts, sun dresses are so limited. They have a playground and cute baby ducks outside right now, super adorable.
If you're looking for a food court there's only fish and hibachi, nothing geared toward kids.
Really nice place to have a bottle of wine and enjoy the day or night. I typically am not a fan of Ohio wines as they are too sweet for me but i found a new favorite here (sinfully red). Highly recommend you try this wine.
Jeff McKee — Google review
Very spacious location with a great variety of beer and wine! I drank the best Vanilla Porter I’ve ever had here. If you’re into dark beer ending on a sweet vanilla note, I highly recommend
Morghan Townsend — Google review
This was a nice change of pace from the insanity of the Flea Market! Decent food and great beer. Came here with the whole family. Kids really liked the goats, who were friendly and eager to get pets. The only disappointment was one of the main reasons we came here was the playground for the kids, but for some reason it was not open. We could see it behind the goats, and it looked awesome, but all of the gates were locked. Not sure if it's only open for special events or at certain times but hopefully it will be open for our next visit.
Nate Sandels — Google review
The food is much like the Pine Barn in Wooster, except this place is in my own back yard! Menu is great. Food is great! Wine choices are great! We came during the Lavender Festival & Maker's Market. We toured all the booths as a guitar man performed on the grassy knoll. We ventured into the lavender field with my daughter who had a birthday today and took many pics of her in her lavender dress cutting a lavender bunch to take home. It was magical for this dad's heart. Maize Valley has many, many activities throughout the year. Next one up, the Sunflower Festival! I highly recommend this place in Stark County.

Actually came here for a car show. Beautiful place, nice indoor and outdoor spaces. A store with different meats, beers, and wines. Both beers we tried tasted excellent, and the food was very good as well. We will return to try different menu items and beers.

Brought my mom here after she kept sending me screenshots of the milkshakes haha. Everything was great. We sat outside and w joked the view of the farm and goats. They give you a little ticket to hang up of you need service, which I liked because then you don't have someone coming up to your table 50 times asking if you need anything. Our server was an absolute sweet heart. The food was all great. Everything was sooooo fresh. Veggies were bright and full of color. It made a big difference. Even the milkshake tasted fresh haha. Will definitely be going back.

I was impressed by the wide variety of choices (ie wine, wine slushies, beer and food)! We ordered the donut shortcake and I would drive the 35 minutes back just for that! Inside the winery was quaint and rustic.

Maize Valley Winery is a decent winery that offers a good experience for visitors looking to enjoy some wine and snacks. The winery is situated in a beautiful location with picturesque views of the surrounding countryside, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening.
The wine selection at Maize Valley Winery is decent, with a variety of reds, whites, and roses to choose from. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, providing a good experience for those looking to learn more about the wines or simply enjoy a glass or two.
In addition to the wine, Maize Valley Winery also offers a variety of snacks and small plates to enjoy with your wine. The cheese and charcuterie board is a decent option, with a variety of cheeses, meats, and crackers to choose from.
The ambiance of the winery is cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that makes it a nice place to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of your visit is enjoyable.
Overall, Maize Valley Winery is a decent option for visitors looking to enjoy some wine and snacks in a beautiful setting. While it may not be the most exceptional winery experience, it provides a good experience for those looking for a casual and enjoyable outing.

What a nice little place. We went during the car show which was really nice. The atmosphere here is very relaxed. The food and service at the restaurant was very good. The staff was very friendly and made our whole family feel welcome. The beer and wine selection was very good and the patio was the perfect place to spend a cool afternoon early evening. The kids loved the goats and chickens and spent a good amount of time on the playground exploring the tires and slides. They loved it and are excited to plan our next trip out there. Overall, a great time and we will definitely head back.

This is a very unique idea. You can pick pumpkins, drink wine, have some craft beer and eat food all at the same place.
They have a great beer selection. I would say one of the tops in the area.
The service was excellent, and the bartenders knew their beer inside and out. Not your typical bar setting though. Grab yourself a craft brewing sit down like you're in your living room.
They also have a gift shop and deli meat counter. Definitely worth the drive.

Don't miss this GEM of a winery. HUGE selection of their incredibly made wines and beers. The food and employees are top notch and the owner Bill allowed us to spend the night with our camper on the property. The are also Harvest Hosts. This is a MUST stop winery! Life is NOW....Live it!
Camping & hiking locale with a meadow, woods & a 2,650-acre lake with forks & coves.
Beautiful park and campground! Exceptionally clean, the shower houses and bathrooms were beautiful, and the check in process was super easy. Wasn't able to visit the camp store, but I'm sure we will in the summer during peak season. Even if you live around the area it doesn't feel like you're right down the road from home. Can't wait to start coming here more!

Beautiful day for a quick hike today. Walked along the lake and did the Deer Lick Trail. A bit muddy, but not too bad.

I stayed here mid-August, arriving just after a spate of rainstorms. I found my reserved site had been spread with straw, so I wouldn't have to tromp around in the mud. This kind of stewardship is rather amazing in today's world and I would like to thank the park staff for their thoughtfulness. I was visiting friends and the nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park and found the campground at West Branch to be the perfect place to begin and end my days. The sites are clean and well-tended, the bath houses are super clean with showers and LAUNDRY facilities, and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Add this to the beauty of this park and you have yourself a 5-star campground.

I have enjoyed countless hours and days in this peaceful and relaxing, beautiful and diverse Ohio State Park. Located near Ravenna, around the 2,650 acre Micheal J Kirwan Reservoir, West Branch has a lot to offer. Enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating, Disc Golf and so much more. Bridle trails for the Equestrian campsites are separate from hiking, mountain biking and snowmobile trails. Hike or bike on the reservoir dam. Spend a few hours or a few days!

This is a lovely campground. Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else, some of the RV spots seem to be mislabeled. We were in spot 22 which IS a very long spot however it’s rated for a 66 foot but it is on a steep angle with trees very close to the front of the spot so we had great difficulty getting our 42 foot fifth wheel in and out without hitting trees. We were also unable to get our fifth wheel level due to the significant angle of the site. Wouldn’t put anything longer than 38 feet here for this reason. We were also driving around and noticed online site 11 is rated for 55 feet but the spot was maybe only large enough for a 12 foot vehicle!! So big rigs be careful when booking. Otherwise it was quiet and secluded.

Great park only gave it a 3 star because bathhouse did not have hot water for 10 out of my 14 day stay.

They have a really nice little canoe launch! Love to take my inflatable boat here and launch. Everything from the bridge west is no wake, so the experience is much nicer than at a lake where the power boats all try to run you down. We also checked out the beach part of the park today and it was impressive. They have a great beach, with nice restrooms, picnic tables, a play area, and a place to rinse off your feet and your belongings! Next time we go we might check out some of the trails. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing atmosphere, get ready to kick back and relax camping. Excellent shower facilities, nice to have a dish washing station at the front of the shower house. Just be sure you can back your RV into the many back in lots. Some of them are in a curved road making it extra challenging. There's a few lots that are pull thru but they get taken up quickly.

Nice small camp ground, very nice staff. Will recommend to anyone.
Dog friendly. Pet friendly.

Lake was gorgeous but over fished. Shore could use some work to attract shore fishers and not just boaters.
Bathroom was clean. Maintenance was doing a good job.
Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is a beloved destination featuring a seasonal butterfly house that offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the importance of butterflies in nature. The garden also includes attractions such as The Caterpillar Nursery and The Amazing Garden Plant Science Center, providing educational experiences for guests of all ages. Additionally, the preserve offers hiking trails, a playground, and even hosts weddings in its beautiful gardens.
Such a fabulous place! Love the beautiful trails to each attraction lined with flowers, activities, art & learning features. We don't have kids but we had to checkout the treehouse & play area as well as gravity glue. The animals are so cool , got to watch them feed & staff were so informative & a pleasure to talk to. Enjoyed the caterpillar house as well, where you could see caterpillars and crystalysts as they go through metamorphosis. There are several wooded trails and a few nice outdoor play areas for children. I was disappointed that they were cleaning many of the enclosures in the raptor center while we were there, so we didn't have the opportunity to view most of them. But the animals and birds that we DID see were very interesting! There is a small greenhouse with various plants and a turtle exhibit. Interactive exhibits included fossil identification and animal track identification. If you want to take your time and enjoy the exhibits and trails, give yourself at least 2 hours. I could have easily spent 1/2 day here but I just didn't have that much time. There are also special educational talks on various dates ( I missed out on that too, sadly). The staff members were very friendly! Enjoyable place to visit for all ages, but if you have young children it will be an especially fun time!

My kids had a blast feeding the birds. Everyone was super friendly and they took the time to teach my toddlers how to do it. Can't say enough kind words about our first experience.

Wonderful place!! Took my sister and 2 month old nephew. I super suggest the wild bird show, absolutely amazing!! Nice hike trail, wonderful playground and the butterfly house was for sure my favorite. They also mentioned they do weddings in one of their gardens. Beautiful place!! I will come back time and time again.

Lovely place that is mostly handicapped accessible, but lots of dirt paths and walking which is hard for younger visitors. Lots of hands on learning with different activities, all spread out on a large reserve. Be prepared for lots of walking which was hard for our younger kids. Their favorite was the zip line, and we also had lunch by the stream and got to hold butterflies on sugar sticks! Lovely place to visit in NE Ohio!!

Beech Creek is a fantastic, hidden gem of a place. The butterfly garden is a must experience place in the right season. Knowledgeable staff tends the animals in the wildlife reserve area and the hiking trails aren't too difficult. Well worth the visit.

Took our 5 and 7 year old daughters there to see the butterflies.
Turns out there was so much more amazing stuff to see and do.
The birds of prey show was super fun, as was the playground and so much more.
The girls are already asking when we’re going back. Highly recommended for families and grown-ups alike.

Such a beautiful place. I loved the greenhouse and all the different types of plants. The butterfly house is a great experience. It was a great place to spend an afternoon with my daughter.
This place is a must visit!! but keep in mind like others have said it is NOT a zoo, it’s an animal sanctuary. There are rules for a reason, please read the signage around the sanctuary very important! Also visit the website for their operational hours, they’re not accurate here.
Ok now onto my experience. Went with my little family which included a toddler and we had a fantastic time here. Admission is affordable, feed is extra $10 however definitely worth the experience and still not badly priced. This sanctuary charges for these things to defray costs of care for animals. Can you imagine how much money it takes to run this place? I personally think admission and cost of feed or even items in their gift shop are reasonable as it all goes back into keeping the animals cared for. They’re no kill and let these beautiful beings live their life out here. The petting zoo area was fun! There are some animals that are not to be fed (again be sure to read the signs). All of the animals here look well taken care of and have enrichment items.
For any parents that are wanting to go, with our toddler we brought our stroller which was a bit rough getting through the gravel but traveled fine on grass. Keep this in mind, not a deal breaker but we figured halfway through we could have left it in our car and maybe opt for a wagon.
You’re not up close and personal to the big cats or wolves! Keep that in mind as well. There is extra fencing that puts you a bit back but clearly for safety. The gift shop has a vending machine and snacks for sale. There is a restroom on-site outside of the gift shop/entrance that is its own little building. Cannot attest to anything within it as we didn’t use it. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! It was a pleasure seeing these animals and hearing the sounds of nature, truly a relaxing place.
There are a LOT of signs that tell you how they expect you to behave. No running, screaming, etc. especially before entering the wolves exhibit (which includes no howling, and if your child is crying to leave the area, amongst other things). Be respectful, be kind & be appreciative someone has a big enough heart to save these babies from horrible situations. Which they have a book, sign & tv going on how some of the animals were saved and their prior condition.
Thank you all for ALL you do!! Thank you for caring for these animals and opening your sanctuary up to the public. As an animal lover myself I appreciate you all.
We will absolutely be back!!

Awesome experience. I've never been so close to big cats, emus, wolves, and all the other animals they have. Kids loved it, I loved the kids interacting with, feeding, and appreciating the rescue animals. I'm not religious but there's a special place in humanity for these people.

My wife and I discovered this gem by accident while visiting Berlin Lake, one of our favorite summer destinations, and the conversation was pretty amusing:
ME: I just heard a lion roar
WIFE: You're an idiot
ME: I swear it! I just heard it again!
WIFE: OK - I just heard it too. Should we run?
Instead of running away, we headed towards the sound and found Noah's Lost Ark animal sanctuary. We obviously had to visit.
It's evident the animals here are very well cared for and loved, and the people working here are happy to share stories about how they ended up at the sanctuary and any unique behaviors they have.
It's an absolute steal for admission, and you'll have an excellent time so long as you aren't expecting it to be run like a commercial zoo or some sort of circus act. I personally found the animals much easier to view in their habitats than a typical zoo, but you won't be slurping on a slushie on a paved trail shaped like bear tracks while doing so. This place is about the animals, not the people that visit, but that actually makes it so much better of an experience. Some of the backstories, like the animals from the Netflix hit "Ozark" being permanent residents there, are incredible. You get to enjoy an experience, all while supporting an excellent cause. The value can't be beat.

Extremely disappointed in the behavoir of the ownership. Not children friendly. If you are going to operate a business that strongly encourages visitation from families with children, then you should at the very least be able to appropriately and calmly communicate with them. We can all be empathetic of the needs and sensitivity of the animals but definitely not at the cost of being aggressive and rude towards the kids still learning boundaries.
OneClassyFreak — Google review
Visited with the kids and grandparents and it was a lovely day to walk through and see the animals. It’s self-guided so no reservations or set times required. Souvenirs are reasonably priced. Be sure to make a donation while you’re there!

This organization is phenomenal and you can tell they care and love each of the animals they have with them. The fact that they are committed to giving these retired, rescued, injured/handicapped animals a second chance for a happy life is admirable!
They have some animals you don't typically see, which is a great experience!

I love this sanctuary for animals it is my charity. Turtles tigers monkies. Bring lunch tables outside benches .if you can't come, think about donations and in your will. They are in mine. People leave the wild in the wild, stop abusing them. Lovely staff. Gravel parking gift shop restrooms handicap accessible. Money to go in and what you purchase goes to running the sanctuary

Noah's is a haven for exotic animals that have been neglected, abandoned, or abused. The amount of love and dedication put into their care is inspiring. I'm blessed to be able to visit there and get to experience being in their presence.

Wonderful time here! We loved seeing the animals and getting to feed them. All of the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. This is an animal sanctuary, not a zoo - so yes there are rules when you visit. Prices are average $15 to get in, $7 for a bag of carrots to feed, $22 for a shirt. I don’t mind paying since I know the proceeds go to help the animals. A lot of fake reviews on here…definitely give it a chance! We will be back :)

The Lincoln Highway Tour continues… we hit this gem up in Warren, PA and who would of thought the guys who started Packard Motors were from Warren?! The staff were very friendly and gave us the abbreviated tour notes. They have a nice collection of Packards and told all the firsts of this brand of auto. It’s a quick informative stop. We enjoyed and highly recommend!

The National Packard Museum is a great place to learn about the Packard family, businesses, and local history. I learned a lot about this that I didn't know before. It was very interesting to see the vintage automobiles and other products that were made in Warren. I also enjoyed seeing the beautiful cars that Packard produced in the 1920's to the 1950's.

My daughter and I visited this museum on a cold rainy day. We were just looking for something to do and this seemed like a good option. I presumed this place would be amazing for antique car buffs, which we are not, but we found it very interesting and the cars were beautiful in their own right. I would not recommend this museum for people who have small children, everything is within touchable reach however, there is no touching allowed. It would be very frustrating with small children who did not understand these boundaries. Thankfully my daughter is old enough and we did enjoy ourselves.

A great small museum.of interest to anyone into turn of the century cars, industry, personalities or design. A bit cramped which makes picture taking a challenge. I went to this exceptionally lovely place for brunch. Kravitz deli, which has a small kitchen there, has a gorgeous sun-filled spot for a very tasty breakfast and lunch.

Fellows Riverside Gardens consists of 20 acres of beautiful trees, shrubs, ground covers, flowers, and herbs. Buildings include a visitors center, pavilion, and gazebo. The visitors center, which offers tours, a gift shop, and a cafe, is open from around 10 AM to 5 PM on most days of the week, but the gardens themselves are open from dawn to dusk daily. Admission is free. I walked around the entire garden in roughly 30 minutes, although I could have stayed longer. The plants were maintained well, and the buildings were in excellent condition.

Great place for nature lovers! The landscape, plants, trees, flowers & overall nature is breathtaking. I loved how the names of each plant/flower is stated in front of it. Plenty of shaded areas with benches to relax & enjoy the nature while reading. We went a little late (4:35 pm) which gave us 25 mins only as the garden closes at 5 pm. I will ho again soon to enjoy a longer time & enjoy the nature breeze

I'm blessed to be able to visit this beautiful place as it's only on the other side of town. Spring is my favorite time although I come year-round. Expect to see many beautiful flowers, a large variety of trees, plants and other greenery. Plan to spend some time as they have trails that lead to various areas of the park, even off the beaten path. A large rose garden precedes a beautiful overlook that highlights the beautiful lake. This place is worth a stop and a revisit.

Always a beautiful place to go and spend an afternoon... its wonderful the energy they take to maintain and keep everything looking good. We like to go in the spring to see the trees bloom, and then again in the summer. There is always something new to see, and the gallery is beautiful as well. They offer it as a fantastic wedding venue as long as you are not doing a large list of invitees.

Lanterman's Mill is a functioning mill from circa 1845 that includes a store selling locally made crafts and stone-ground flours. Despite being in the area for years, visitors may not realize it is a working mill until stepping inside. The admission fee is affordable and provides informational pamphlets for learning about the historical site. Multiple floors are available to explore and observe the milling process.
Didn't realize of all the years visiting the area of the mill and the park that the mill was actually a working mill! We stepped inside to check out the inside and found that there is the ability to walk around the inside of the building and get a small glimpse into history. The entry fee is very small, there is a pamphlet that provides you with information and there are several floors you can visit to see the action.

The historic mill is the center of it all with wooden bridges, beautiful nature trails and botanical gardens. The trails have well established paths that can be slightly challenging in places where there is mud after a rain or a few roots above the soil. It will be effortless if proper trail shoes are worn. There are plenty of picturesque photo opportunities for friends and families. Plenty of parking within walking distance of the mill.

This park has an easy walk down a couple paths along the river. The mill is open during the week, so we missed that on the weekend. You can check out three bridges if you are into that thing. There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills for grilling. We enjoyed the low impact walks along the river regardless of the other features.

Cute little gift shop and friendly staff located at Lanterman's Mill. From the deck you can take great pictures. I forgot trail map and they had extras at the shop I got lucky. Started my hike there along the creek down to Shields road then circled around back to the Mill. Was about a 4.5 mile hike. Really beautiful but be careful after rain might be muddy. Moderately vigorous in it's ups and downs with short stair areas along with dirt trails. Hike includes shaded and sunny areas. Great workout, good phone service and when I was hiking only ran into a few other hikers.

Finally got the chance to get to the mill. Wonderful place to hike. Being in the urban area it is, you wouldn't think it'd be such a nice place but it's very nice very clean. Although my dog for some reason hates to hike these days, it's a great place to take your dog. So probably next time I will leave him home.

If you'd like to see a fully functioning mill from 19th Century America, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and each floor of the mill has exhibits showing it's history. You can also see real tools from the mill's heyday and learn about the technology of the mill itself. There's also a walking path outside of the mill that I'm sorry I didn't get to explore.

Lanterman Mill is one of my most favorite places in the world. Mill Creek Park, in general, is such a wonderful place. We were there on Saturday evening around 6 pm, and there were a couple of other people, but we mostly had the place to ourselves. The mill tours were closed that late, but exploring the trails is just as fun. Make sure to download the trail maps and figure out where you are on the map before you start exploring. Otherwise, you could end up having a pretty long trek back to your vehicle.

Mill Creek is a huge park I highly recommend get a trail map. (You can also get one at the Lanterman's Mill) Staff was very helpful giving me pointers on trails and parking areas. I'd been to this part of the park before last year but the visitors center was closed mostly due to COVID-19. I'm a big fan of tulips and in the spring it's a must to see. On the other side of the parking lot is a dahlia garden. It's a short walk but beautiful to see. Still the same great place. I have been coming here my entire life. It appears vendors are trying to make a strong comeback. Still some growing pains, some vendors are still struggling to find workers. Nevertheless they still have good produce. Its only the month of May, so the local producers arent really selling there stuff yet. Its still one of the best day trip you can have. If you're new, It maybe a bit overwhelming. Its impossible to explain how many vendors there are on a nice day.
Suggestions:
#1 Walking shoes, Take a backpack, cart or Wagon with big wheels. Be mindful who your bringing. Its a lot of walking, but there are scooter rentals available.
#2 Take water and cooler for produce you want to Keep cool. The meats and cheeses are in the buildings. I usually hit those last.
#3 Stop and Talk to the Vendors. You will find out valuable information and you will meet some great people. Take a mental note of your favorite vendors location. They like to set up in the same place.
#4 Have fun. Its a flea market, yes there's junk that is another person treasure. There more new stuff than anything. So dont let the negative reviews turn you away.

Love this place, I ALWAYS, check out the knives and swords. And you can not leave there without getting the fresh made donuts, love the antiques, and vendors, if you have never been here omg you need to check it out, note: you must pay with cash, however shop with caution ⚠️, you will find things you just have to have, and yes there are restrooms available. Go and enjoy the experience.

A lot of stuff to see here. Most of it is from people trying to get rich and a little from people just making a little dough. It’s really spread out and takes forever to get through it all. Unfortunately, a lot of vendors start leaving soon as it gets a little warm out. So by 1:00 or 2:00 they’re packing it in. Didn’t even make it around and folks were gone. You can rent scooters so if you have issues walking that far they got you covered. I have my own so no biggy. Parking is hellish with some folks just parking anywhere. Double parking people and blocking them in. Lots of food vendors and everything smelled great. Didn’t try anything as the lines were huge and we wanted to go to a sit down after we left. All in all a good time and worth going to at least once. I didn’t see any great deals on produce except zucchini. But if you know a friend with a garden you’ll get all you can eat for free lol

Save your gas money on the auctions. Unless you are there to pick up your item as soon as bidding closes, your item will be handed out to anyone that wanders through.
So, unless you really want to drive 30 minutes for disappointment and frustration, steer clear.
Note: The "replacement hay at reduced price" was listed in the auction as "musty 3rd cut orchard grass" which looked about as wonderful as that description sounds. What I had bid on, and was to receive was a very nice orchard grass and alfalfa mix. The REDUCED price was due to the REDUCED quality of the replacement product and entirely based on the over-priced value that it's winning bidder had placed on it. This is the same bidder that took one look at the hay they had purchased and decided to take MY hay instead and which the barn manager happily let them take from the building before my arrival.
In short, if I had WANTED a loose bag of 3 year old grass clippings, I would of bid on it. If you wanted to correct the situation you would of given me the pile of musty hay and charged it's bidder the cost of THEIR hay as well as MY hay.

They sell cards & other gifts too, so make sure you look around when you are there. They have awesome displays of chocolate sculptures you must check out AND….. the chocolate kingdom in the back. The Kingdom is all chocolate sculptures made with pure chocolate. You must see it when you are there, no excuses. They gave a big, well lite parking lot, parking won’t be an issue. If you have any questions or are looking for something particular, the friendly Staff will be more than happy to help you. I love this place, I know you will too.

We love seeing the chocolate animals in their shop. They make a unique display. Plus, we did purchase a lot of hand made candy for gifts. So many choices. Easy to find and park.

Lots and lots of candie!! I havents seen some candies since my childhood. I highly recommend this place to chocolate lovers too.

I love bringing the family here during the Christmas season. It's an old-fashioned candy store with some of the best homemade chocolates and fudge. Prices are a little high, but I think it's worth the price. The fudge is about $10 per pound, and other high-quality chocolates are about $18 per pound.

We've never been there so today we just went for a drive and stopped. Very nice and their chocolates are pretty darn good and even though the prices may seem high in actuality they're cheaper. We bought some chocolates and we enjoyed our visit.

Awesome place! Delicious chocolate and the floor to ceiling chocolate sculptures and displays blew me away. The Melt-A-Ways were my absolute favorite! My second favorite but still exquisite were the turtles' chocolate candies. A must see if you're visiting or just passing through.

Every time I visit from Florida I have to bring chocolate from Daffin's home with me. The dark chocolate is my absolute favorite, tried the Maple Cream Dark Chocolate this time and they are fantastic. I also got the Dark Chocolate Malt Balls for the first time definitely recommend both. The selection of chocolates they have is amazing.

Another must stop in Pennsylvania. First time I've been to the store. Always get them as a gift. Their store is awesome. Bought the pretzels, peanut butter cups, and peppermint patties. Some of the best chocolate there is.

The food is chocolate! There's taffy and other novelty candy for purchase. Candy deli with fresh fudge. They have a lot of sugar free options and a lot of gift boxes already made up. They have their chocolate village displays one in middle of the store another in the back of the store. There's a lot of cute gifts from coffee cups to tshirts.

This was an amazing experience for me. Was a very nice layout of the candy. They not only had bins of loose candy but shelves were full of all types of Easter Candy. Off to one side was home made candy made of white, milk and dark chocolate. I must say it was very delicious. They had a display in the center of the store of a tree made out of chocolate it was awesome same with the one in the back of the store which had elephants and like a little village with a train, merry-go-round,castles, and a Ferris wheel almost every thing was carved out of chocolate.
Well it's now the Christmas display and again they didn't disappoint me. It was a wonderful winter scene in the back with a very active scene around the tree in the center of the store. Not only do they have loose candy but a lot of the old time candy along with a place where you can get from small boxes of different types of chocolate truffles to large quantities. You won't be disappointed when you go there.

I have a relative that's from this area originally and they rave about this chocolate. They buy it every year and give it out as Christmas gifts. Honestly I could care less about where my chocolate is from. I like all chocolate but I have to admit this stuff is really really really good and the chocolate with pretzel. Man it's good

What a fun and enjoyable day it is; going to Daffin's! Their chocolate is fantastic! Great selection of candy. My favorite thing to do there is to fill my bag with the salt water taffy and bulk candy. There is a huge choice of flavors. Buttered popcorn is my fav😁. Daffins also makes the best peppermint patties!
The employees are helpful and very courteous.

Every time we come home, a Daffin’s stop is a must.
There were no fresh chocolate covered Oreos behind the counter today, but the packaged ones did not disappoint. If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out on a little piece of Heaven here on Earth.
Added bonus: they offer a military discount. 👏🏾
Bustling casino hotel with modern rooms, a golf course & a spa, plus 6 restaurants & a race track.
My family and friends all enjoy our visits here. I cannot review the hotel part, because I have never stayed there over night. We enjoy the gambling that is offered. Very wide selection of games, and they offer something for everyone and every budget. It all depends on how you like to play. Friendly staff, and they do have table games and races as well as slots, and keno. Very worth a visit, go and check it out for yourself!!

To all high rollers players. As u see I am the black card member If you want to come the casino that no matter you lost your money but the casino still counting that you win then come here. Because how many of you ever check how much the table games counting you win no matter that you lost???
I catch the casino cheating on my winning lost on the table games and ask for review camera. Instead of review and fix the mistake ,2weeks after I asked for camera review my winning lost on the table games, the casino send a security tell me I am not allowing come back into casino .
Thanks to the casino I will not lost any money for them anymore because even the slot machine is terrible great teaser as u see I bet 20-50dollars per hit but NO bonus games over 2hrs.

We would like to see more selections on the Gatsby menu, especially since the buffet is still non existent. The food NEEDS to come out HOT also. SERVING breakfast all day would be a great addition at Gatsby, Especially If you are not bringing back the buffet.

Nice place started out with some nice fat 35-1 wins on straight up roulette got me a good head start in wins for the eve. Migrates to the house tracks and couldn’t lose!! It was just one of those a awesum nights you dream of. I ended up staying for many hours and left a WINNER! highly recommend!

Honesty it was just okay for our first time here…my husband and I didn’t win anything, which I found to be a little odd…my husband usually wins big at least once and he lost for like the first time ever and we went to Las Vegas. Maybe since this was our first time here the house decided it wanted to take all of our money!!! Drinks were pretty cheap but I wish they would of asked what kind of gin I’d like in my drinks, I feel that’s part of being a good bartender. I’m not a huge fan of the casino having a smoking section, which was also the only place that they had the digital roulette that my husband and I really like. I’m not sure if we will be back, MGM and The Jack are closer to our house.

1 star because 0 is not an option. I was assaulted in the casino for saying "excuse me" and not "excuse me, ma'am" by a mean old fat lady with a bad attitude. When I spoke to the head of security about this, he was not helpful at all. In fact he said she is fine and they wouldn't be speaking with her.
So please know the Mountaineer casino security is not there for your safety. Not sure what their job is, but it isn't the safety of their patrons. Head of security on 2/11/23 @ 1pm. He seemed very annoyed that I felt my safety was at risk due to this woman. So I left. I had planned a couple return visits as their hotel is amazing! However I value my safety more than a nice hotel and some free play. I've canceled all upcoming planned visits & have zero intentions on returning ever. That is sad that people can assault others and absolutely nothing (they didn't even speak to her) is done about it. They can keep their rowdy hillbilly karens as patrons. I'm on my way to Wheeling Casino, because my green money spends everywhere. And I've never had a safety concern there.
So much for trying something new 🤷🏼♀️
I cannot recommend this Casino to anyone in good faith as it is possible that they'll be assaulted and absolutely nothing will be done about it. They should hold pay per view patrons fighting events since they seem to be overwhelmingly okay with it happening.
I will not return!

Dinner at the Steakhouse was FABULOUS! Starting with the delicious fresh bread rolls, then the Calamari starter was hot, lightly coated and tender. Our salads were generous and WOWEE the NY Strip was one of the best we have ever eaten. Tender, juicy and perfectly prepared! Loved the risotto also. WE ARE WORLD TRAVELERS! JOB WELL DONE!

What a casino should be! The casino was very clean and welcoming. The staff was super friendly, and really cared about the guests at Mountaineer. The restaurants were good, and they didn't gouge you like most casinos try to do today. Again, the staff was friendly, and the food top notch! The hotel rooms were big and comfortable, and again clean. And (you might notice a theme here) the hotel staff was very friendly! Mountaineer has everything I look for and expect from a casino. I highly recommend Mountaineer, and we will be back many times in the future!!
Nathan — Google review
This casino really isn't that great to be honest. Not only is it in the middle of nowhere but the outside of the building needs some serious TLC. Staff are great and friendly. The food leaves a bit to be desired and unless you choose to visit on a Friday or Saturday (the casinos busiest time), you won't be able to eat at the "fine dining" restaurant because it's only open on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Now let's address the hotel "resort" portion of this casino. First problem is that one side of the hotel has no elevator (the lodge). It's walk up only. When the tower portion (which has an elevator) is full, your only option is the walk up. The second problem is that you can't book a single bed room (which would be cheaper). The only options are double queen or double king, and it's pricey. They tack on a "resort fee" on the rooms (an extra $16 plus tax) to the already ridiculous room rate, and the rooms have ZERO room service available. You can't order from the restaurants in the casino and have it delivered to you. If your room is in the lodge, prepare to walk all the way to the restaurant and all the way back.
Housekeeping will bring you towels or sheets but they will NOT clean your room until you check out.
This place is run with bare bones staffing. If you're there just to gamble then this would be perfect for you, but if you're booking a room here for an anniversary or special occasion, thinking you're about to get a real "resort" experience, save your money and book elsewhere.
Trust me.
Overall the place is OK for where it's located and it's nice for gambling but I wouldn't go out of my way to book a room there for a vacation resort experience. Although I hear that the pool is pretty good in summer and the "spa" is also sufficient.
Don't take my word for it tho, go check it out for yourself if you're ever in the middle of nowhere West Virginia panhandle !

They trick you. There are 2 parts to this resort. One, they call the lodge which is lesser than your lowest motel you can go to. Has funny smell? No elevator is far from any of the attractions. They charge you a resort fee even though this is far from resort quality. Can't say much about the main hotel. Only staying here because my company's paying for it will never come back again.

I love playing here but I really miss the seafood buffet. I think once they eliminated all buffets that it really hurt attendance. People want the full experience. Dinner, drinks, followed by fun and games. The other restaurants are great but I think their buffet was the big draw!

Brought my daughter here for her 21’st birthday with 7 other people to celebrate. We booked 3 rooms months in advance and they wouldn’t let her in the casino. She had a valid state id from Ohio but because it was paper (because that’s all they give you) they would not accept it. They let her drink at the bar in the restaurant but would not let her in the casino. Ruined our entire trip

This place was empty last night compared to the way it used to be. The set up is nice inside, and very clean. but the machines are too tight. I don't care If I lose the money I take to a casino, but at least let me play for a while. Playing $1 a hit, the highest wins I received were mainly .20 cents. Playing max bet increased those wins to .40 cents. I'll stick to Detroit where they give you a room, the actions great and always live music.

Sad to see what this place has become. Front desk employee never even looked up, didn’t smile. Dealer wasn’t friendly or talkative and made a mistake every other hand. Took 20 minutes to get a drink every time. We were even “scolded” for being too loud. You want people to have fun here right?

Breakfast at Mountanieer Casino is a great way to get you started in the morning. Very satisfying, wait staff were very cheerful and although very busy at 9am,they each made time to check with every table and satisfy their guests needs. Coffee served hot and also given a carafe for backup refills. Breakfast was very good. I recommend the pancakes!!.. very tasty , and more than enough to get you through all day gambling at the tables or slots.

We like Mountaineer Resort and Casino, but are disappointed they've moved backward when it comes to responsible resource use and reducing unnecessary waste.
We stayed in the casino hotel overnight (despite the deceptive and uncalled for $15 "resort fee") and dined at the Mahogany Sports Bar. The food was decent and came served on a real (ceramic) plate. But everything else was single use plastic, which gave the meal a very low rent feel. Our dinner drinks came in plastic cups, the coleslaw came in a Styrofoam container (with a plastic lid), the tartar sauce came in a plastic container with a plastic lid, the salad dressing came in a single-use aluminum pouch, and the utensils were of cheap plastic., wrapped in a plastic bag.
On the casino floor, we were surprised to learn that the main bar (and presumably the others) no longer serve draft beer - all drinks come in an aluminum can or glass bottle. Mixed drinks are served in plastic cups.
Not only does the plastic servingware cheapen the feel of Mountaineer's dining (especially) and drink offerings, but there are no recycling bins. It's a "safe bet" that about zero percent (probably, actually zero percent) of Mountaineer's aluminum cans and bottles are recycled.
Other motels we've been in at least offer guests the option of opt-in recycling at common area and/or room recycling bins. Many have also moved to wall mounted- shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash dispensers rather than the wasteful, disposable little plastic bottles. Not here.
In a time when more and more people are concerned about the environment and want to do our part, Mountaineer Casino is moving in the wrong direction.

Absolutely beautiful state park! We hiked the Mineral Speings Loop Trail, Valley Trail and Beach Trail this day. The waterfall area with the mineral springs running down the walls was gorgeous on the Mineral Trail. The Valley Trail had beautiful views and fun terrain leading you over to a beach area where the kids enjoyed playing by the water before the hike back. The picnic areas near these two trails were very nice as well. Such lovely nature just a short drive out of Pittsburgh. We had no cell service while in the park which was nice too.

Quaint small hidden away lake and picnic area. There is a boat launch, electric motors only. You and also rent boats, kayaks ext. There is a swimming beach with a concession stand and restrooms. The area has many picnic tables with grills. Nice place to go for the day.
If you are a camper in the woods, there is a campground that is well maintained for tents as well as motorized homes.

Decided to take a drive south from Pittsburgh and this park seemed interesting, so that's where we ended up. The drive was scenic and offered glimpses of life away from the city. This park, however, is incredibly beautiful! The river, lake and surroundings are filled with wildlife and activity but also so quiet - you can hear yourself breathe. I look forward to coming back to do some kayaking and also enjoy the beach, during summer.

This was our first experience here! It was a holiday weekend and the campground was full! Yet it was peaceful and pleasantly relaxing! The site was a good size, semi-shaded, with electric hook-ups. Views all around were nice, and we had plenty space! Very beautiful park, many visible park personnel that were so friendly! We will definitely be back. There is so much to do and see!

Took a 20 mile drive Sunday morning. Ended up at raccoon state park to take some pictures. It was a beautiful day just after the rain. There's a boat launch, there's a beach. There's trails, there's hiking. And there's a website to check it all out on a telephone number. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Is park hours sun up to sunset.

We were in Cabin 5. Accomodations were good, and the land and trails around the area were very nice and maintained. Beach was a little dirty but not too bad. The one thing you should know is that this park is directly in the landing flight path for Pittsburgh International Airport. Large planes all day and into the night flying over. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place. Otherwise, a beautiful PA park for you to visit!

Don't book campsite B 20. There's a steep hill (which turns to a mudslide with rain) behind your vehicle parking that leads to the actual campsite. Your unloading AND loading back out up and down that hill. Gotta use the restroom? Back up that hill. It's very slippery. Great campsite once you've got everything down there. Very private. But after a few days of up and down the hill the privacy isn't worth it anymore. The first picture is looking up from the campsite at our truck. Second is the view down to the campsite. There was no warning of this hill when we booked the campsite.

We wanted to find the Frankfort Mineral Springs because we learned there was a mineral spa built there in the 1790s, and you could still see some of the original foundation. There's a gorgeous waterfall there that is worth the hike alone. The place had such a peaceful vibe that we explored it for about an hour before we hiked the loop trail. The road was marked closed, so Google Maps tried to take me on a 20-minute detour, but stay straight on route 18, and you can drive through the signs to get to the parking lot.
The lake is further up in the park, about 17 minutes away. You can rent boats, kayaks, and water bikes if you want to spend the day on the water. We found a pull off spot that led us down to the perfect spot to fish 🎣. Right on a drop-off ad where a ton of crappie were hanging out. It was our 1st time at this park, but we definitely will go back!

Very pleasant and convenient State Park near Pittsburgh. Miles and miles of wooded hiking trails, a campground and a big lake with boat rentals and a family friendly swimming beach with restrooms and concessions. No lifeguards but the swimming area is roped off, the bottom is mostly sandy and doesn't get much more than 5' deep inside the ropes. Shady spots for blankets and picnic tables. OK to grill. No dogs on the beach or in the water.

Stayed here for concert. We stayed 6 days. The park was nice and enjoyable. Bathroom was clean when we arrived. We arrived on a Friday, concert on Saturday and we departed on Tuesday. Honest review here. Bathrooms were destroyed by Sunday morning. Woman's bathroom had feces on every toilet/ stall except the handicap. (Felt bad for cleaning guy. That was short lived. He didn't do anything. Monday morning the guy finally cleaned it up.) Thank God for that. People up late till 2 am or later. That didn't bother me but lady yelling at her young toddler DID. She never stopped. Most cut out Sunday morning. Monday was more peaceful even saw 2 deer come up to our campsite. Note to self.....don't stay after a concert in state park.
The park itself is amazing.

Presenting big-name acts, this outdoor amphitheater hosts 23,000 patrons in reserved & lawn seating.
We drove out to Star Lake from Ohio and loved it! All around great place to see a show!
PROS:
- We got the special parking pass (as many suggested online) which is well worth it if you're able to get one. Easy entrance, parking, and exit.
- The sound was really great (especially for being outdoors!)
- The pavilion seating was pretty comfortable, including a decent amount of leg room.
- The event staff were courteous and helpful.
CONS: None!

So, the venue itself is awesome. Gets a little cramped with how many people show up. But, its an awesome experience being with all those people at once. Bathrooms are way up top in the back but easily accessible. Got to see D & C twice there. First time we missed the whole first set because we were stuck in traffic on the way in. Second one, ( the 2023 sold out one where many people completely missed the show and wanted a refund) we left like six hours before the show and still barely made it for showtime.
Now, the venue again is great, food and merchandise spots are easy to see and use. However, parking, traffic and organization over driving patterns is just horrible. No matter how you get there, you will end up in one lane sitting there for hours just to get in to the venue. Then, getting out you back out of your spot then sit there for like an hour before leaving. It's just horrible. Almost torture really. They need to somehow open up another lane or some other way in to starlake. Or get more shuttles in and out? There is a lot of free land around the area so maybe get some people to park and walk? A lot needs changed here and I hope it does in the coming years. I feel like it's bad enough that people will come for one concert, see how horrible it is going in and not come back (probably close to my stance).
Dylan Matta — Google review
Great outdoor venue. I would go here for another concert. Prices inside are insane but typical for a concert. My only complaint was how slow service was. Everything is cashless so the lines for drinks and merchandise barely move as everyone has to pay with cards.

Took my wife to see The Backstreet Boys a few weeks ago. I absolutely love this venue. Beautiful place, wide open, tons of room. Easily accessible food/drink and merch stands. The lines that form, drop quickly from the prompt service of the workers. We had VIP box tickets and we couldn't have been happier! They have a VIP area with a bar, free water and popcorn, along with private bathrooms. Not to mention, you have a button in your box the you can press, and a waiter/waitress will come and take your order and bring it to you. Tons of parking. I recommend going to a show! They have very affordable tickets!
That being said, the only downfall, is when the event let's out, depending on where you are parked, you can spend hours in line trying to leave.

This was the first time visiting, the parking entrance has 6 lanes coming in and as much as people complain it was not that bad parking with plenty of ADA parking. We arrived approx 1 hour before gates opened. Security was adequate, they check bags and have metal detectors etc. Prices were about the same for food and beverages as other venues. Soft drinks come with free refills. There is plenty of seating to eat and drink outside the pavilion. Security under the pavilion was fine and they assist you to your seats, seats in at least section one were comfortable with cupholders. After the concert traffic was a bit slow to leave. But it was expected. Over all a good time. They need a traffic light out by the road though.

My friend agrees with everything I've said. Lana's voice being blasted directly into my ears is top tier experiences without a doubt. Her voice 🫠

Great setting for concerts, just hate its in the middle of no where. Covered seating, open seating and lawn seating. Lots of food and drink options, typical hefty prices. Decent amount of restrooms. I had a nice evening sitting in the lawn section, but there were some challenges. There was horrendous traffic getting to the show (Dead & Company, 2023), there were especially long lines, and the music wasn't very loud. I have been to 3 large amphitheaters this summer, and this was definitely the worst. This probably would have been a much better experience if there were fewer people.

Another beautiful night under the stars with some amazing live music. We love the summer concerts here because the tickets are so cheap & affordable! We forgot it was a no-cash venue and we didn't bring any cards with us, but were pleased and impressed by the free money cards they offer! $1 for $1! No fees! You can also use the card anywhere that accepts credit cards if you don't spend all of the money on it before you leave!

Went to see Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. The show was awesome! Great pyrotechnics! Lots of staff. Bathrooms were clean. Overpriced but what concert venue isn't. Parking is absolutely ridiculous. Got parked in the very last row of the very last section. Took us 1.5 hours to get out. By that time, traffic on 376 was at a minimum, so there's that. Venue...👍 Parking...😠

It was our first time here, and we'll for sure be back. It's a fun, laid-back venue that throws some pretty good shows.
There are a bunch of food options. All the ones we tried in particular were amazing. Doesn't seem like you can really go wrong with what you get. The drinks are on the pricey side, but that's to be expected.
We had a great time at this venue. Reminded us a lot of Merryweather in Maryland.

Excellent 1st time HERE!!!!!!
Facilities well maintained. Plenty of Porta-Johns everywhere. By the end of any concerts are going to be pretty full so that wasn't surprising.
To the people who sit down to go to the bathroom you might want to bring a roll of toilet paper just to wipe off the seat. That's more on the concertgoers than the venue.
Big screens everywhere so no matter where you're sitting you can pretty much see a up close video center stage.
Went to see the Outlaw Tour. The facility's commitment to make the concert happen despite rain storms is amazing! Drainage on the grounds were excellent considering the downpour we had no huge puddles. The parking lot was as good as it could get. Suggestion: if you know it's gonna rain.. bring 2 pair of shoes/boots/flip-flops or whatever you wear. People were grilling out sitting out in their lawn chairs in the parking lot, pretty fun lot scene. Nobody was being stupid most people were being totally respectable although that is a Willie Nelson crowd.
Thank you for making my first Willie Nelson concert an extraordinary event!!!!
Excellent first time here. Will definitely go see more shows at this venue.
FYI taking pictures in the rain of the screens did not lend to give you guys very good pictures I apologize for that.

The only *needs improvement* mark is directing traffic OUT after the show. Ok, & the food isn't worth the price except popcorn. Going in, everything is organized very well. If you plan accordingly, you'll have a great time. The free DD soda is only at food stands, but is a great perk in hot weather. the show is always great, and I've never gad a better time than when I see shows here. 100% recommend every time. Anyone that has traffic issues didn't plan right. They open parking 2 hours before showtime for a reason. U should aim to arrive within an hour of the start time or sooner for a show you know will be extra packed. If you can't do that, expect to be late and it's nobodys fault but your own. Dont but tickets if u can't get there on time. The flow is nice and easy with 4 lanes to guide you to all the lots. The staff are nice. My only complaints are fellow audience members.

My boyfriend and I went to the Pavilion at Star Lake on 8/23/23 to see the band Ghost. He uses a wheelchair, and every aspect of our stay was great from start to finish. We paid for reserved parking and the team helped us find a spot close to the entrance. The view from our ADA seating was immaculate. Our view was never obstructed and we were considerably close to the stage.
Unfortunately, storm clouds quickly rolled in and by the time the opening band, Amon Amarth, stopped playing lightning was striking across the sky. The Star Lake team calmly and quickly ushered the lawn seating into the covered areas and then Ghost came on stage. The sound, lighting and other effects were AMAZING. Sadly, their set was cut a little short because the storm came back in full force. The lead singer walked back on stage and personally announced to the crowd that we needed to exit the Pavilion in an orderly fashion for our own safety, and thanked us for our cooperation. Staff members helped escort wheelchair users to their parking, and a crowd member stopped us to offer a rain poncho. The overall experience was perfect and in no way hindered by the storm. We would absolutely come back for another show.

Saw lana del rey here. Decent crowd control for a 22k crowd, although parking was insane. The pavilion itself is a nice spot. Good views from seats and lawn. I like that vendors and bathrooms have their own area adjacent to seating. I would see other shows at this venue for sure.

Had the best time at The Pavilion at Star Lake! I saw SpiritBox, Papa Roach and Shinedown! I was literally in the 3rd row from the stage! I had to walk a bit to get to the gate, but everyone did so make sure to wear your walking shoes! Vendors were great! Attendants were helpful! It was a great experience!
Animal park with 70+ species, from peacocks to porcupines, has feeding & petting zones & pony rides.
This place is way more fun than the Pittsburgh Zoo! You can get so much closer to the animals and even feed and touch many of them. Catch a short camel ride for a few bucks, buy some of the feed and have a great time. From adults to kids to toddlers it was really a great time for everyone.

A fun way to spend a few hours for any animal lover. Great for kids and adults as well. Birds, deer, kangaroos, alpacas, zebras, flamingos, etc. The little bird aviary is really cute. The goats are hilarious. I'd pay the admission fee just for the goats and birds....good for laughing.

Seriously such a wonderful family place! Small enough that the animals are definitely cared for and the facility is clean but big enough to entertain the kids for a morning or afternoon. This was our second trip and we had even more fun this time. The interaction with the animals is so nice and love the petting zoo part where the goats are roaming free. ❤️ Mojo was our camel for the ride and he was so laid back. All of the employees are so kind as well and very patient with the kiddos.

My family had a very nice time at Living Treasures. My daughter rode a Camel, held a baby Kangaroo, and bottle fed a young camel!
Did not give 5 stars because there were no Giraffes at this location and they appear all over their ad's the Tiger was pacing because he was in such a small space which made us sad. Also no 'people food ' is offered, but that didn't bother us.
We truly enjoyed feeding the animals and all of the activities and the gift shop had good prices too. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 Kids & Seniors and babies are free :)
Living Treasures is definitely a must see and alot of fun for all ages!

Wow!!! My granddaughters, their parents, and the other grandparents loved this zoo. Nice size, not too big. There was a wide variety of animals and opportunities to feed many of them. Well organized and clean!
Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite day trips in when we are vacationing in the area! A complete hidden treasure. It was so empty on the weekday we went. The animal variety is incredible and gets better every year. Our group of 7 (ages 5 up to 45) were all completely engaged for over 3 hours.
Note: they are sending the big cats and bear over to Keystone after this season, and kudos to them for doing this for these majestic creatures. This shows they have true concerns for the welfare if the animals

Living Treasures is a great little petting zoo to visit. It’s stroller and small kid friendly with lots of herbivores to feed. They have a great business going and your season pass can be used at Keystone Safari. Living Treasures recently has been moving their larger animals to Keystone and focusing on smaller kid friendly animals. If you want dozens and dozens of goats and deer to feed and pet living treasures is where you want to go. If you want to see lions, hyenas, rare birds and giraffes then Keystone Safari will be your place. Again season passes can be used at both locations so you really can have your pick of experiences!

I was visiting from out of town. We drove a little over an hour to take my kids and 8 of their cousins. All the kids and adults were very entertained. We loved feeding all the animals, getting to hold the animals for pictures, and riding the camel. Worth the price and the drive! I hope we can go again when we are in town next time.

This is a great small Zoo. There are so many animals that you are able to hand feed here. Mostly regular barnyard animals like goats, bunnies, sheep, cows, and horses. There are some larger animals like zebu and camels. Then there are the more exotic things like tapers and tigers and alligators. One of my favorite things was being able to feed the kangaroos, one of which had a little Joey in her pouch. The admission was only $15 and a couple food was like an extra $3. We had a lot of fun here and I would recommend it.

My husband told me we were going somewhere on Sunday @9 am. I had no clue where he was taking me. It was Living Treasures and has been my favorite animal park to go to ever! All the people that work there are so nice. The place is clean with places to wash your hands. You get to feed the animals out of your hand!! Best place ever! Highly recommend

We did the llama ride and the kids fed all the animals. Pet the goats and not a single exhibit was closed. There is one that is empty because a black panther passed away. But this is a great place to take the kiddos!!! Or a nice date!

This isn't as large and unique as parks you'd find in the city, and that is the only reason I knocked a star off. They have a wonderful selection of animals and the whole park is practically interactive. Buy a bunch of pellets and food because you and your kids can feed almost every animal in the park. This place is very kid friendly and well kept. Kids love this place! There's also a small playground with benches and an opportunity to get you Pic holding a snake or even a baby kangaroo. This is a great family place to spend the day and it's affordable.
Dustin Hinkson (HINK Rates) — Google review
My girls and I always have the best time here! We went two years ago and again this year. We love holding the baby Joey. We spent roughly 2-3hrs here between seeing everything possible, playing in the playground, stopping for photos and more! The gift shop is also super affordable too. We will definitely be back again before summer is over!

Haven't been here in years and it did not disappoint. So glad I got to take my 6 year old, so many cool things that other zoos don't have and you can be up close and personal. Loved the kangaroos! Very clean and overall great experience.
It's a shopping paradise. Huge variety of brand outlets here. Prices are really good. The best thing is all at one place. One can spend whole day shopping here. Almost all famous brands have independent outlet to satisfy everyone's need. Simple Fabulous. The place also has a food court with variety of main course and fast food to keep you going for more shopping😊👍👍

Well, as a Brit, I was expecting a covered mall. we went on a bad, windy, damp excursion, and my experience was tainted by the cold 🥶.
The mall is huge, but it's really only 4 or 5 decent shops. The rest are discounted tat.
I loved the Candy Apple Store.
Home-made candies and huge selection of sweet apples.

Great place to go shopping in grove city with various options for variety of items. Brand names available. Parking is good normally during the week and especially after opening hours. Parking is crazy on the weekends. Hard to find a spot and very busy with people.

Not sure if the 5 star reviews are from real people. I find it hard to believe. We haven't been in 4 years. Conservatively half of rhe stores are closed, half of the food court is closed. Prices are no different from a normal mall however selection is limited given that it's an outlet. The staff were very nice every store we went in. Very telling when parking lot is 20% full and of those walking around very few have bags. Save your time and go somewhere else. Not what it used to be. There were no deals when we were there. Will not be back unless something drastically changes with stores returning. Maybe deals on a long weekend???
On the plus side if you do decide to come there is a great restaurant up the road called timber creek.

We recently visited the Grove City Premium Outlets, and I must say, it was a fantastic shopping experience. The outlet mall offers a wide range of stores, featuring both popular brands and designer labels. The layout of the mall is well-designed, making it easy to navigate and find what you're looking for.
One thing that stood out to me was the variety of stores available. From clothing and accessories to home goods and electronics, there was something for everyone. I was pleased to see a mix of high-end luxury brands and more affordable options, catering to different budgets and preferences.
The shopping experience itself was enjoyable. The stores were clean, well-organized, and staffed with friendly and helpful employees. I appreciated the wide walkways and ample space, which made browsing and shopping comfortable even during busy times.
Another highlight was the numerous dining options available within the mall. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, there were plenty of choices to satisfy any craving. It was convenient to take a break and refuel before continuing with my shopping.
Parking was also hassle-free, with plenty of spaces available. The mall's location is easily accessible, and there are clear signs directing visitors to the entrance.
Overall, the Grove City Premium Outlets provided an excellent shopping experience. The wide selection of stores, pleasant atmosphere, and convenient amenities make it a destination worth visiting. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast or simply enjoy exploring different stores, this outlet mall has something to offer for everyone.

This is a PRIME example of the affect of ONLINE SHOPPING on brick and mortar stores....and the employees who depend on jobs working in them.
I have not been to this mall since before COVID and I am sure that the winter is not the best time to make a judgement here. However, having walked through most of the mall I have seen that many stores (two or three in each "wing") are empty. As well, talking with sales staff in some mostly empty stores they say that they are lucky if they make a handful of sales each day. They do rely on the better weather months, and the southbound travelers in winter months for the majority of their sales.
Resultantly, many stores are offering 40% to 70% sales.
I hope , for the sake of their employees, that this mall sees better times than when I was there last week. GOOD LUCK!!!

Definitely worth the trip to visit and spend an afternoon walking around, enjoying nice weekend weather, and shopping, shopping, & more shopping. There is plenty of parking and tons of stores! Bathrooms are available but definitely on the gross & yucky side. You can definitely catch some good sales because every store has something going on. I visited many of the stores. Friendliest staff goes to the ladies in the Hanes store. Best deal does to the Reebok store. Disappointing pieces goes to the fragrance store because the perfume prices were surprisingly expensive. Most bland unappreciative staff goes to LIDS for being unfriendly and unwelcoming! Most entertaining was the HOT TOPIC store! Most unique was the As Seen on TV store. Most delicious was the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store! I didn't see much security around but I'm sure they were somewhere. I felt very safe and secure. My only complaint is the food court is lacking! Not many options but there are plenty of restaurants on the outskirts of the mall. I will be sure to go again!

Higher end clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories in upscale settings. Saw some pretty good discounts, but not everything is marked down. Be a wise shopper and know the retail prices. Nice food court, but plenty of standalone restaurants in the area. A pleasant 2 hr drive from the Cleveland area.

I would recommend these outlets for many reasons! Obviously there's easy parking but it is also clean and well kept, every store I went to had the friendliest employees, and the Starbucks onsite was fantastic. I went on July 4th weekend so the sales were REMARKABLE! My favorite shops were Eddie Bauer and Columbia.

Been about 15 years since I was last here..maybe a bit less. Never the less I was underwhelmed. I remember finding so many good deals easily and filling shopping bags. It was busy and good vibes. Now I can say since I've been back it's ok at best. You really do need to search for a deal. Nike, old navy and under Armour were disappointing for sure. Nike was a joke for prices. Old Navy was more expensive than local places and same for my local Under Armour outlet. If people drive hours to go there make it worth the trip. If it wasn't for my wife and daughter finding a few good deals I would give a 1 star. 4 hours of driving, 3 hours of shopping...I left with a bottle of hot sauce. It's 2.5 stars not 3 just don't have the option. Outlet was dead but I didn't mind that and also was a Tuesday early afternoon. Reconsider if you are making a long commute, luckily I was going to a pirates game otherwise would have been a complete fail.

Grove City Outlets is an experience that everyone should check out as you can hit all of your favorite stores in an afternoon of browsing. Sign up for emails and get coupons and deals to know when the best sales are! Don't forget to stop by the food court to sample a variety of foods even if you just want a snack or a meal. Convenient to all major highways and local places to stay if you are from out of the area.

In an era of dying retail malls, plazas, and outlets, we were pleasantly surprised to find an amazing selection of well stocked stores at Grove City Premium Outlets.
It was pretty busy for a Monday.

Grove city retail park. Huge very large will spread loads of option to shop from clothes accessories, shoes, soaps, perfumes anything and everything…. a few options of food, Starbucks, coffee and few lemonade stands. It’s best do I have enough time on hand able to browse all the shops and lemonade is proper lemonade and it isn’t fizzy. You can buy them of special kiosks selling lemonade, there is a large cafe area too and enough toilets and seating area after a long day to refuel !

Many name brand stores here. I don't usually shop in malls. The "outlet" stores here have some deals if you know where to look but I don't think it's worth driving more than an hour to get here unless you are buying a lot and at prices that you know are much better than you can get closer to your home. This shopping center is showing its age. It's well maintained but many areas need to be freshened up.

Great place to find good deals! There is plenty of parking, but be sure to come early because it gets packed fast! I could spend an entire day here because it is so big but we only had time for a couple of stores. This mall is outside ( other than the food court, which was mostly a miss. There are not many places to choose. Might be better to bring your own food or go outside the mall) the mall is spaced out a lot so start from one end and go to the other. You could also try and drive, but parking can be tricky, so bring good sneakers!

Summer Review = 5 stars - Winter Review = 2 stars.
My review for summer activities would be a 5; it’s a beautiful park with lots of activities to do like the beach, disc golfing, walking/hiking trails, etc.
My review for the winter is maybe a 2. Although the picture I posted looks pretty, it is a picture from the street of the paved snowy walking path. Outdoor physical activity during the winter is not promoted at all! I went to walk there on a beautiful day that fell in February, and the paved walking path was a sheet of ice!!! People were slipping everywhere! I had to walk on the road, which is not safe with how narrow they are!
Maybe we should reach out to the committee that runs the Colorado State Parks and take some tips! They clear their walking and biking paths in the State parks as soon as it snows! I was able to walk 5 miles on their paths the day after a major snow storm.
Not sure why the paved trails can’t be cleared in the winter??

Greatly maintained park with so many activities you can do. Beautiful area and amazing lake views.
Park has a kids' playground, restrooms (closed during winter season), and a beach area.
Also, a decent amount of picnic area tables and grills are provided.
Also, there are tons of parking spaces.
It was very peaceful and just a wonderful place indeed.

Very nice state park and clean too. Love the bike trail and overall area of the park. I was here last summer and went biking kayaking and boating. Also if you stay at the cabins on the lake side you can see the highway going across the lake. There's also wildlife here too. Also if you stay at the cabins you can go over to mcconils mills only a little drive away. And you can go up to grove city to the outlets. Will be coming back to stay

Great place for kids, boaters, birdwatching and history buffs. The trail system is ok. Many trails have serious overgrowth and many contain Invasive species unfortunately, in addition some trail blazers are simply no where to be found and it can be hard to find your bearings even on easy trails. Park has great beaches, overlooks for waterfowl observation and great picnic spots. The oil pump house museum is very educational and a great place to visit when open.

Best time on the water, even in October. If you have your own kayak, accessing the water is so easy and they even have a wheelchair access ramp for kayaks. Many restrooms, wide open walking trails, playground and those VIEWS are smashing. The entire park is clean and there are plenty of maps and park info available. I just wish there were more tent camping spots.

Fun Fore All is a fun little park. It's not the highest quality of arcade or small amusement rides, but there is a lot to do for the whole family. The Go Karts are fast and fun. The mini golf is actually fairly challenging. The food is alright, with a decent selection. We would go again.

Fun fore all is one of my favorite places to take my boys. Ages 3 & 6. My 6 yo just had his birthday party there Sat Oct 28th, everyone had a blast! The staff was so friendly and helpful even showing me how to buy party package food combo’s that saved me sooo much on the drinks! And the most critical part, when one kiddo lost his card. The had my card’s registered, and no problem, promptly gave me a new card with his remaining $ on it! My 3 yo and I go once a week (weekday afternoon) with his fall fun pass and play a round of mini golf (3yo speed style) if the weather permits! I have read the place and get pricy, and yes it can. But there’s always coupons and deals going on, take advantage of them! It does save lots!

They have pretty lights on their props, but this is not a place to play after sunset. The lights on the course glare into your eyes instead of shining on the green. Often you cast a shadow on your own shot. And the greens consist of subtle grades that you really need to see in good light to play.
The staff are young kids who are not kind or customer focused.

Two course options for mini golf. We did the cave course but will come back for the lighthouse course another time. I imagine one could do both at once by skipping the 18th hole on the first run but I don’t know if that’s allowed.

I can't believe we've never been here before. It was so fun, my kids loved it! We did the go carts and 4d movie games. We will definitely be making this trip more often.

My new favorite arcade! There is a healthy variety of games with a spacious layout. The sound level was FAR less overstimulating than other arcades with similar games. The dark ride was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even the pizza was good! Our only regret was that we visited in the winter and didn't get to enjoy the elaborate mini golf course or the go carts. It is a way better experience than places like Dave and Buster's. Highly recommend!
Side note: I was there for a child's birthday and the party was very well run. Even as an adult without kids of my own, I had a blast!

Absolutely amazed by the treatment we received tonight! My son was a make a wish kid last year and got a pass to come to fun fore all after his wish trip. They treated our family like royalty and went above and beyond to make sure my son had a good time! We will definitely be back! I wish I would have caught the kids name who helped us! He was so incredibly kind!

The name says it all; fun place for the whole family! Great golf course, and they also have an arcade. There are rides on the premises as well, but that section of the park is probably only open seasonally. There also appears to be plenty of parking in the lot.
We went on a Saturday night, so you could expect the service not to be optimal. We waited a while for our food. Everything was made well, but they forgot our hot chocolate (twice), the BBQ sauce for the chicken tenders, and the tomato sauce (assuming that's what they use) for the chicken "parm" burger. Might as well have ordered a plain chicken burger.
All that said, the food was still more enjoyable here than at Zone 28.

Sitting in the same family style as chuckee cheese and Dave and busters, this place makes a nice middle ground between the two.
Having both a video arcade of both ticket and non ticket games plus virtual 3d indoor coaster makes most trips fun by itself;
However also having access to 2 mini golf courses in addition to batting cages, a go cart track, and multiple kiddie rides definitely makes this a must do in the warmer months.
For cost- for my family to play till tired out ( about 4 hours) only took about 200$ and we had money left over. Great news is tickets and credits roll over till your next visit.

It was a great family fun place, my grandkids had an amazing time. The staff when I came in I was clueless, they explained everything. But my shout out is to Nick he stood out. He was great. He ran the bumper car, the swing and the flying cars without any complaints! Thanks for a memorable day 💛

Absolutely zero value for your buck. They use deceptive advertising to get you in but then nothing is as advertised. Take the 20 for 2 hours deal. Say all inside attractions and video games. But in reality it's only the games that don't award tickets. Not ALL video games.
Won't be back.
Cool store from the outside, you feel special opening the door and it's definitely a great place for kids. The staff is very friendly and interactive; they were excited to show kids different toys. Nice little selection of disc golf. A lot of MVP, Dynamic, and Discraft. Not much Innova, Prodigy or others

Our family recently ventured off the beaten path during our trip to Pittsburgh to visit Playthings, Etc., and boy, are we glad we did! Despite its remote location, this hidden gem is an absolute delight and well worth the journey.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the unique exterior design resembling a stealth bomber, illuminated with an array of vibrant lights. Stepping inside, we were transported to a world of wonder, with aisles upon aisles of toys from all corners of the globe, catering to children of all ages and interests.
What truly sets Playthings, Etc. apart is the interactive experience it offers. With ample demo tables scattered throughout the store, our four kids were kept entertained for hours, testing out various toys and games before making their selections. The staff, meanwhile, were a delight to interact with, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance whenever needed.
From the diverse selection of toys to the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service, Playthings, Etc. exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family left with smiles on our faces and memories to cherish, making this visit an absolute highlight of our trip.
If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind toy store experience that delights both children and adults alike, look no further than Playthings, Etc. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the Pittsburgh area and beyond. Five stars all around!

Loved our trip to Playthings! Staff was awesome. You can play with any opened toy or item. If you're looking for a toy, or puzzle, or anything to play with or build, it is here. All old toys plus some new ones never seen before. We spent way too much time here ha ha.
Highly recommend.

This place is totally a place to go. It definitely has some toys and games that take me back to my youth, from the puzzles, cap guns, rc cars, models and I could go on and on.. if you are ever in the area and like to reminisce and take yourself back to your younger days stop in and check it out. Definitely won't be disappointed and you'll probably spend some cash as well.

This place is a must visit if you are anywhere on this continent! My Wife and I went Saturday to get a gift for our grandson. (Our first visit). We were blown away! Like many have said, super cool building, but that is just the beginning. The employees are superb! You are welcomed upon entry, in a genuine way! What I can tell you is we had a blast there! So many quality toys to select from. More than once I saw the employees smiling at our excitement! We are over a half century old and were carrying on like kids! We found the perfect gift, and to be honest bought more things for ourselves than him! Nowadays to find a business where you are treated with respect and where it's acceptable to touch, and actually play with the toys is refreshing! Don't pass an opportunity up to be a kid again!

Really a neat spot for costumes, toys...games...puzzles of all sorts for all ages.
Kid size grocery carts!
Fast and friendly staff ...

This is the place to be for a kid! Okay, let's be honest, it's the place to be for adults too! Sample toys galore and a staff willing to teach and play.
Last time I was there, my toddler was in the market for a word. An employee not only took him through the entire selection, but once his selection was made, they swashbuckled (which was expected) but then the guy was full-on stabbed and writhing on the floor in death throws as my kid waved his sword over him victoriously. Okay... That sounds a little weird in hindsight... But for the 2 year old, it must have been exhilarating. I'm sure he'll never forget it.

This one of a kind toy store is absolutely amazing.
Once we walked in, we were greeted by several staff members who were extremely nice and helpful.
The store is very overwhelming to take in with all kinds of toys from toddler to adult. Most of the toys I saw I have never seen in my life. I have been to the store before, but that was almost 20 years ago. It was nice taking my son to see the store and find some toys he picked out.
The store has some smaller toys right up front that ranged in price. Through the store, there is a toy for everyone from puzzles, rc cars, chess sets, Lego, art and crafts, etc.
I remember trying toys in the store years ago, and it's the same today. They even played a play area that was really neat. It was geared for younger kids, but it was nice to see what toys went over well and which ones did not. Throughout the store, you will find toys to try.
Prices are very reasonable. Some things on the high side but the toys would be difficult to find.
I highly recommend that if you visit the store, to set some time aside, it takes time to look.
It truly is a one of a kind toy store, and it is great for all ages. We traveled about 2 hours to visit the store and will be back soon.

Fantastic place to spend too much money at. They've got a Harry Potter section, an RC section, a twisty puzzles (Rubik's cube style puzzles) section, plushies, a bunch of fidget toys, etc. Definitely worth a visit, but be prepared to pick up more things than you can really be prepared for. 😃

Awesome experience! I was re-living my childhood for a good half hour and probably could've spent another hour doing so if I wasn't time constrained. Great place to find and play with a ton of toys. If you can't find it there, it probably doesn't exist! The staff were also warm and very welcoming as well. I highly recommend checking this store out...bring the kids or heck the whole family, you're sure to have a blast!

It was quite a drive to get there, we arrived late near closing time. The staff was kind and understanding. They didn't pressure us to leave (although we did try to be respectful of their closing time and make our selections swiftly) the kids were happy and we had a great experience, Thank you!

I wanted to be excited about this place but it fell short for me. It’s nice inside but just didn’t do it for me. I went across the streets to get a better picture but didn’t really happen that way.
Maddog4x4 — Google review
The place felt dirty. Some neat toys you can't find many places but extremely pricy. Courteous and helpful staff. Also, it seems that they are disbanding all of the RC vehicles, which I always liked to browse.
The ride is worth the wait. The view up top is good, but the ride from the from the back of the car is really unique. It is shaky and is not smooth, which made it a fun ride.

Great spot to visit in Pittsburgh if you want that panoramic view of the city. Indeed breathtaking! Parking is provided and within good walking distance. Just didn't like the fact that you had to have the exact cash to provide, although there was a coin machine to swap out your bills just in case. Overall good experience

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh
So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh.
From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all.
I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars
Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this.
if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.
Sanjay Gupta — Google review
Very beautiful and historic place. The incline has been running since the 1800's. Its been a must see location in Pittsburgh for many years. My son and I went for our 1st but not last visit. The views of the city are spectacular. Many different ways to get great photos. On the cable car and at the top on the observation deck. At the top there are lots of exhibits that outline some of the history of the incline and cars. It also depicts interesting history of Pittsburgh. It is so cheap that a family could afford this fun and educational excursion. Ill definately be back with more of my family. Take cash and exact change. A round trip for 2 adults is $10. They are friendly and nice enough to let you go ahead and ride. You can get change at the top. Either from the gift shop or an ATM.

whoa! this is such a unique experience. Its definitely the more historic-feeling of the 2 inclines. Both inclines are wonderful but I love the vintage nuance of Duquesne. Just keep it functional and absolutely preserve the wabi sabi aesthetic pls Pittsburgh, otherwise don't change anything - its beautiful! thx

This is a an essential stop! Parking is quick and easy, wait time isn't long at all, and photos will never do this view justice.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

Really nice place but a bit expensive...the feel of the ride is awesome...you need to pay for parking for nearly $10 and for the price available on the website.
The stadium Heinz Field is located in the city of Pittsburgh and is home to the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers and the NCAA's Pittsburgh Panthers. The stadium was built in 2001 and has a capacity of 65,572. It is one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the NFL with many seats and suites offering excellent views over the city skyline and riverfront.
We had the opportunity to stop by Heinz Stadium and take a bit to explore the stadium. Such a class act organization. This stadium has so much history, passion, and fire for the Black and Gold faithful. Thank you Pittsburgh, till we meet again. ❤️

A sprawling space that I saw on a frigid evening. I’m sure it has even more charm in the daylight and when it’s warmer. Relatively easy and smooth to navigate but the seating is nothing special. Club level is warm and comfy although doesn’t have nearly enough seating for how busy it can get in the cold.
Overall this is the spot to be if you want to watch the Steelers play at home, but it’s definitely not a great “value” for what you’ll receive. Ticket prices simply soar especially around any significant games.
Parking is as expected impossible, so you’ll have to hike to get where you need to be. For true fans though it’s all worth it. Very enjoyable atmosphere and pretty surprisingly pleasant outlook. Very little mischief from anyone. A more mature crowd than many teams can boast.

This is one of the nicer stadiums that I've been to. It's always clean in the bathroom area and the fans are not as bad as you think they would be. The location is perfect. It's right in downtown Pittsburgh and it has got a lot of beautiful sites that you can see. There's seventeen eateries around and there's a marketplace that sells a variety of ethnic items located right next to the stadium. The stadium is located about one mile away from the Hilton hotel on Forbes Avenue.

This is a nice stadium. Fairly clean though the men's bathroom was turned into a women's and the sign changed so people were waiting in line forever not realizing there were only 5 stalls and the bathroom smelled like urine (the actual women's did not). Food was good. Staff was kind. Seats were nice.

Not the best stadium but not the worst. Came here for a pre season game kind of crowded but it was manageable. I liked how easy it was to get in. BUT really hard to get anything from burgatory on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Wouldn't come here for anything but preseason but overall the experience isn't bad. Very pretty views.

Stadium was packed. Still plenty of room to get by others. Ushers were very helpful. The lines at the concessions were slow, but not bad for the crowd. Prices were ridiculously high, as with any pro sporting event. Seating allowed us to see the entire field, we didn't feel cramped, and it was clean. Made for an enjoyable experience.

A really great stadium, home of the Steelers and the Pitt Panthers. We've been there multiple times. Getting in is easy and efficient, there are wheelchair accessible entrances. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We had field passes last time and got up close to the action. Probably few other stadiums where fans can get this close in terms of seating either. Absolutely loved it, will come again many more times!

Great stadium for a live performance! Easy to navigate once inside and the club seat view is great. Plenty of bathrooms, however they changed the male bathrooms to women bathrooms during the show. Plenty of places to get an adult beverage as well. Plenty of parking around the stadium too. However, with how high traffic the show was, we parked downtown and were able to walk to the stadium from there.

I was surprised with how nice the stadium was. Super clean, great atmosphere and the staff working were all super friendly. The Pitt fans were ridiculous and don't understand football but the stadium was dope.

Home of the historically good Pittsburgh Steelers. Still sad that it is not named Heinz Field anymore. We took the Gateway Clipper to the game which was an amazing experience. Came down to Heinz Field about a month ago for the first time (it will always be Heinz to me) for the Steelers vs. Packers game and the experience was great. Stadium looks nice, got to see a flyby for the first time with it being Veterans Day weekend, and the game was close towards the very end. Food was good although I would recommend buying whatever food you need prior to the beginning of the game since the lines do tend to get long during the game and made me miss the entire third quarter. Overall was a great experience for the first time being there and I definitely don’t regret taking a two day trip out to PA for the weekend just for some Live Football.

Very nice stadium. Sitting on the North seats you get the view of downtown.
This will always be Heinz Field to me regardless of who pays to have their name on it.
If you attend an event during the day there is little to no shade, so bring sunscreen.
I've sat 10 rows from the field to the nose bleed seats and views of the field are great all around.
Couple of downsides are that it's located downtown near PNC park with limited expensive parking. Good luck getting out fast on any event especially when two events are going on at both parks.
Multiple entrances make it convenient as well as a T stop near by, and a on ramp to the highway.

Had a great experience attending a Packers road game here. The Steeler fans were great, it was a lot like how Packers fans treat visitors in Green Bay. This stadium is nice and the game experience was excellent, even though my team lost!
PNC Park, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team, is a classic stadium with beautiful architecture and a large fan base. The stadium has hosted all sorts of events, from major league baseball games to concerts. The views of the city are wonderful and the food at some of the restaurants nearby is great.
Great place, great view. Recommend to attend a game here. Huge parking lot available around, relatively cheaper rates starting 8$. Will recommend to come early for the game and enjoy the snack bar and drinks, and you might also get a chance to have game ball when teams are practicing. Escalator available to go up the levels and merchandise store are also present around entrance.

Absolutely stunning park. Gorgeous backdrop of the famous and jaw dropping Pittsburgh Skyline full with Yellow Bridges and all. Decent atmosphere at game, fans were slow to start, however as the game progressed, the game became more and more exciting. The two teams, (Hometown Pirates, and the Visiting Atlanta Braves) delivered a great performance coming down to the wire in the 9th inning. Would 100% recommend for the view alone. The baseball is an added bonus.

I was asked what I wanted to do for my birthday a couple of months ago. My answer was go to a Pirates game or Mexico. I was thrilled when my birthday came and my love sent me a picture of my Pirate ticket. We arrived and parked with no problem in parking lot 2 gold walked to a little bar outside the park and had a cold beverage while waiting to get in the park. The staff checking all of the fans in were pleasant, polite and helpful. The selection and ease of purchasing snacks and beverages was one of the great parts of my experience as I did not miss but a few moments of the game while using the facilities. Section 119 row DD seat 1 and 2 is where we sat I loved the crow and would sit in that section again. In reality I would love to attend as many home games as there are but will most likely make it a yearly tradition to get a game around my birthday again. This was the most fun I have had as a birthday adventure in years.

PNC is always a great venue, whether for a Pirates game or concert. Seats are tapered nicely to give everybody a good view. Everything is pretty clean and the food is good. Minus one star for prices. They gouge pretty deep for beers and mixed drinks. Otherwise a great establishment.

Not the first time I've been to PNC Park. Always a great experience. Great park, awesome view, friendly staff. Tickets for where we sat were a great value, talking bucket list kind of stuff, for a decent price. Being an Orioles fan, I'm used to a great stadium. I'm biased as OPACY is the best but you'll never go wrong here! Only downfall is the price of concessions but what was offered was an amazing selection. I'll be back many times and I urge everyone to take in a game here!

We went to a Dodger/Pirates game and it was a great experience. I took a 22 year old and a 2 yo. The park was clean, Well staffed, and easy to get around. I felt very safe the entire time. Staff was awesome about upgrading our seats - I was worried the 2yo would fall as we were pretty high up. However the upper deck seats were beautiful with a view of the game and the city.
People around us were also there just to have a good time. Food and drinks were a bit pricey, but that's to be expected and way cheaper than back in the bay area.
There are a lot of cheap parking options well within walking distance.
Loved all the little restaurants and pubs with open and outdoor seating right outside the park piping the game through speakers.
Pittsburgh deserves a better reputation!

After growing up here and having season tickets for years to Three Rivers then moving away, this was my first trip to either new stadium. It is fantastic. There really isn’t a bad seat in the place and would definitely go back and purchase a standing room only seat and just wander. Easy in and out from all gates, good food.

Club seats are the best! If you are thinking of going to a Pirate game, spend the extra money and get club seats. The seats are padded and the environment is fantastic. It is worth every penny. First, the crowds are much smaller in the club seating area. There are short lines for food, and the food choices are great. Second, the restrooms are clean, much cleaner than the normal restrooms. It has a clubhouse atmosphere and it is all air conditioned inside. We sat in Section 209, row A seats 1 and 2 and they were great. We had a fantastic view of the game, and went it when we needed a break from the heat. There were no rowdy crowds, and you can get a table inside and watch the game for a bit while you are eating, or taking a break from the sun. I think the best part about the club seating is that the seats are padded. You can sit, watch the game, and never get uncomfortable. It was a great experience and one of the best ways to beat the crowds and to have good amenities. The tickets are a bit more, but you will have a great experience.

Awesome ball park and atmosphere! Even though the team itself is not very good, the stadium gets a solid crowd of dedicated fans.
There is a lot of places to eat and drink at, especially Manny’s BBQ owned by Pirates legend Manny Sanguillan. Sometimes you can even meet Manny in front of his place for a picture and an autograph!
Everyone that works at the stadium that I interacted with was extremely friendly. The man at the ticket window even took his time to look for an aisle seat for me!
They also have a lot of activities for kids on the first level, including a big playground overlooking the River.
I purchased tickets the day of game at the ticket window.
There are a few parking decks around. Many hobos begging for change line the walk to the stadium.
All around a modern and awesome stadium and a fun place to watch a ball game!
Hope this helps! Happy Travels!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park and must say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked through the gates, I was struck by the stunning views of the city skyline and the river. The stadium itself is clean, modern, and designed with the fan in mind.
I was pleased with the amenities available, including a variety of concession stands, comfortable seating, and a great selection of merchandise. The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans cheering on their team and the staff doing an excellent job of keeping everyone engaged.
The game itself was intense, with both teams putting on a great show. The Pirates put up a good fight but ultimately lost to their opponents. Despite this, I had an absolutely amazing time and would highly recommend attending a game at PNC Park to anyone who loves baseball or wants to experience the excitement of a top-notch stadium.

PNC Park actually lives up to the hype. All seats are great, people are friendly and food was very good. I loved all the Roberto Clemente stuff. Wish I could have seen him play.

There's a reason people say it's the best park in MLB.. Great view inside but it has the small town feel on the outside. The people were all very friendly to me as well... Bucket list - check..

Absolutely beautiful ball park. The atmosphere is great and the view overlooking the downtown is incredible. Is definitely one of top 3 ballparks in the states. I would recommend any baseball fan to come visit. The game was followed by a 30 minute firework display that rivals Canada Day or 4th of July celebrations

Excellent experience! Very nice venue, great seats, tons of food and drinks choices, packed house with plenty of action on the field! An absolute must for any baseball fan! Very intimate field! We had an awesome view from right behind the Yankees clubhouse! Go Yankees!

Visitors can also find street vendors selling produce and souvenirs as well as bars, Italian restaurants and sandwich places. The Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a world-renowned conservatory that was founded in 1893. The botanical garden features gardens of all types, including floral displays, tropical plants, and a greenhouse.
There will never be enough times you can visit this beautiful and unique place.
You can really take your time and self-tour so many different exhibits throughout the building.
What’s even more incredible is the dedication that is readily apparent throughout each room. You can clearly tell that much thought and effort has been put into making this as beautiful as it is.
100% recommend for a therapeutic, relaxing and fun time.

Very beautiful and large place, mainly indoors but I would recommend going on a nicer day so you can get the full experience of the outer section as well. If you’re a plant lover, you will absolutely love this place. There’s a lot selection of plants and trees. There were little signs that have information about what you were looking about, and fun facts about them. During our visit there were a lot of exhibits that were closed because they were working on them. The first look inside was breath taking. If you’re visiting Pittsburgh you definitely have to visit this spot !

Incredibly charmed. The many many gorgeous plants! The impressively dedicated sustainability-inspired fashion show! The lovely green-haired lady celebrating her wedding in a flower crown! The small children running about delightedly in the garden! The happy bees! The cute little environmentalist health food cafe! Overall so impressed by how much this obviously felt like a labor of love by the people who built it and who continue to maintain it. Highly recommend.

Amazing!! Went here with a friend and had such a great time! We were there when the Billy Porter display was up and it was not only beautiful but so interesting as well! Even if that display is gone, I don’t doubt that any other display they put up will be just as good! The conservatory itself was beautiful too. There were so many different rooms like a desert room and a fruit and spice room. The Japanese Garden is an absolute must see and if you want some amazing vacation photos, this is the place!

Very pretty if you like plants and flowers, they have quite the selection, different climates and seasons.
There are a lot of amazing photo-spots, definitely a place where I would take a date.
The gift shop also has quite the selection of different items, don't skip it.

We just went for their Christmas light display, and it was truly amazing. They have many beautifully executed displays with so many rooms and outdoor features. Phipps feel like a world-class experience. The plants, flowers, and botanicals from all sorts of climates were on display and matched tastefully with the Christmas lights. I look forward to seeing this again. I think it will be worth a visit in any season.

This is my favorite place in Pittsburgh. I have had a membership for quite a few years and it’s one of the best gifts I get myself every year. The shows are beautiful and every season they outdo themselves. It’s beautiful and peaceful. I bring family and friends and children. The holiday show cannot be missed.

What a wonderful place! The floral displays are outstanding and I never miss their seasonal shows for Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas/Winter! They also often have an amazing train display for the winter season. Parking on the "Island" in front of the Conservatory on Schenley Drive is free... and on Sundays all street parking is also free. Their cafe also offers good options for lunch or a snack or beverage. I highly recommend a visit here if you are touring around Pittsburgh.

Stunning displays right now of a collaboration with Billy Porter! The majority of the gardens Is all indoor domes, the orchid area was my favorite! Definitely need at minimum an hour, but recommend planning for two if you want to feel encapsulated and go through everything. The restaurant has nice options as does the gift shop albeit being on the pricey side. We saw a wedding taking place there, lovely venue for that!

I had the pleasure of visiting Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens last week, and it was truly a delightful experience. The place exudes coziness, and the excellent services added to the overall charm.
One of the highlights was exploring the diverse gardens they have to offer. From vibrant flower displays to serene green spaces,
The attention to detail in creating a welcoming atmosphere and the variety of gardens make Phipps Conservatory a standout destination. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a botanical escape in Pittsburgh.

I've photographed many weddings at Phipps and it's one of my favorite venues in the area. The greenery, flowers, and landscaping are all impeccable and it's a photographer's dream to have so many unique and inspiring locations for photos. I'm always excited to shoot here. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful. The winter wonder light show was amazing. It was pouring down rain when we went and it was still amazing! Had to purchase tickets in advance as they only allow so many at a time. It flowed so nicely. You had enough time to enjoy and look at things without being surrounded by people. We also went on a Tuesday evening though! Will definitely return next year!

Perfect Saturday for a visit to Phipps Conservatory. Elegant, beautiful and tranquil gardens. A feast for the senses. Fun, accessible, free parking and excellent for adults and children alike. Friendly and helpful staff. Cute cafe. It was nice to get there early before the crowds to take the time to thoroughly enjoy each section more than once. Loved it. What a treasure.

This place is amazing and beautiful. If you like to be surrounded by plants and flowers, and enjoy a quiet/fresh environment, this is a must if you are in Pittsburgh. I recommend to buy tickets in advance specially if is a high season or if there is some particular exhibition happening. You will spend around 2hours if you take it slowly.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens proved to be a captivating retreat immersed in the allure of nature’s beauty. The curated plant displays and thoughtfully crafted gardens offered a serene escape from the everyday. A standout moment was the mesmerizing Tropical Forest Conservatory, where I felt transported into a lush rainforest realm.
One delightful surprise was the showcase of Billy Porter’s fashion, adding an artistic and fashionable dimension to the garden’s appeal. The emphasis on sustainability and educational initiatives further enriched the experience, making it a must-visit for both nature enthusiasts and seekers of serene tranquility.

We went here around Christmas time and they had every room dressed to the nines for the holidays. It was absolutely beautiful! I recommend buying tickets ahead of time just to be sure you'll get in, buy we bought ours at the window in the lobby when we entered. Every room of the garden was more gorgeous and breath taking than the last. They even had a room full of miniature train scenes of Pittsburgh. The gift shop in the lobby was also really cute, with lots of little treasures to remember your visit. I would definitely recommend Phipps Conservatory and Gardens for all ages!

Anytime of year, Phipps is a must visit. Their Christmas show has an amazing light display. The Spring and Fall shows are amazing and there is always something blooming. Don’t forget to look high and low, always love spotting a bunch of bananas.
Whether you live in the Burgh or are just in town, Phipps is a must stop! Advanced tickets are not a bad idea but unless it’s the Christmas show, generally not needed.

"The Phipps Conservatory Light Show in Pittsburgh is a magical experience that brings the holiday spirit to life. The stunning display of lights, synchronized to festive music, creates a mesmerizing and joyful atmosphere. The attention to detail and creativity in the light arrangements is truly commendable. It's a perfect family-friendly event, leaving everyone in awe of the holiday magic. Phipps Light Show is a must-visit during the festive season for a heartwarming and visually spectacular evening."

What a wonderful visit! We arrived at 4pm on a Thursday and had the opportunity to enjoy the inside basically all to ourselves and still see the lights outside once night fell. Bonus, we even got a lovely western PA sunset in the mix. As always the decorations are amazing, the visit was well worth it!

This is a place you definitely don't want to miss. No matter if it's an individual or for a family with kids/seniors, definitely worth visiting! It has covered most popular plants from all over the world. Good to see the details or just browsing around. It took me one hour for the tour. Some of the areas were very hot because of the simulation of tropical areas. We did have great fun come visiting here. Strongly recommended!!

Beautiful and well mapped out with friendly staff. The different rooms consisting of different climates was amazing. I’m not even a plant lover and was still fascinated. Would be nice to visit at different times of the year to see the different blooms.

Beautiful indoor gardens! We greatly enjoyed our time here… everything was Christmas themed which was pretty neat. We really enjoyed the Hawaiian rainforest and the main room with the all the train sets and little villages set up. The children loved that room and didn’t want to leave it! The entire facility is wheelchair accessible, a huge plus! Definitely worth a visit!

Went during the spring/Easter show and will gladly return for future seasons. A beautiful and well curated botanical experience that I will most certainly share with anyone who comes to visit me in the city. Please be sure to donate and support such a beautiful and important establishment.

Absolutely gorgeous conservatory and botanical garden. We visited during the holiday season and the festive decorations were magical and completely transformed the scenery. It was crowded on a Saturday night but to be expected given the season and the beauty. We didn't mind at all and everyone was polite and just there to have a good time. Even if you don't love botanical gardens I'd highly recommend checking out Phipps, it's one of the best.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is located in vast area of 15 Acres. It was built in 1893 The same was added to National Register of Historical Places in 1976. The theme of the tropical conservatory will change once in three years. Presently Hawaii theme is there. There are different parts of the conservatory called 1. Palm Court having different types of palm trees 2. Serpentine Room in which the exhibit plants change with the season 3. Fern Room in which many kinds of ferns and cycads 4. Orchid Room which has many kinds of orchids 5. South Conservatory which has seasonal flower shows 6. Tropical Forest Conservatory has waterfalls, fish pond etc. It takes one to two hours to visit entire area.

Came for the Christmas lights and they do an excellent job.
Really beautiful place to get in the spirit of the holidays.
I will knock of one star because this place gets more crowded than Disneyland. Seriously, there are parts, where you are essentially in one long line, body to body, throughout a few of the sections.
Overall though, would still suggest it.

My husband, daughter, & I visited here on Christmas Eve Day during our first trip to Pitt. and I’m so glad we did! We were all so impressed with the time and details of all of the displays/gardens! Absolutely beautiful!! While we didn’t get to see the lights at night, it was still worth every minute!!
Excellent atmosphere with stellar food. Dinner for 10 is always a challenge for staffing when eating out but Vanessa was spot on and she did an outstanding job taking care of our group. The food was excellent I believe everyone ordered something different from Pizza to chicken Parmesan, crab stuffed portobello mushrooms. We highly recommend you give this place a try.

Beautiful winery and grounds! Good food, desserts and DELICIOUS coffee. Wine tasting was not available, but we still purchased wine.
Love the different seating areas. Great place to go for an afternoon or evening to listen to music and enjoy some wine and food with friends! One of the nicest wineries around!

Had a super good time this afternoon at Narcissi. A wonderful outdoor setting under the grapevine pergola. Everyone was very friendly and was able to take us on a walk-in basis for an early lunch. Service was very good and the food was superb. The wine was fantastic My wife enjoyed a Pinot grigio and I savored the dry rosé.

Wine Tour & Lunch
I went for a wine tour with a party of 8. I had an amazing time. John was our tour guide he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate on the winery. The lunch downstairs was amazing as well I can’t remember our waiters name but he was extremely nice as well! We ordered bottles at our table and they recork the wine you don’t finish. It was a beautiful experience and I will be coming back! (Also everything was super clean)

This weekend we had a reception to celebrate our elopement at Narcisi Winery. Our entire experience with them was excellent from start to finish! Sarah, the events coordinator, was super responsive via email over the last 6 months as we planned the event. We rented the full banquet room (max 80 people, we had 55) and it was spacious, clean, and beautiful with our minimal decor that we set up. We chose the lunch buffet (the menu to choose from was large!) and the food was plentiful and delicious. Even our gluten free guest was very happy with her meal that came straight out from the kitchen. During our event, our server Nicole was super helpful and kind. We were able to get beautiful pictures outside, as well as set up some yard games for guests to play. I would recommend Narcisi to anyone looking to host a small reception, party, or shower with great food & wine and beautiful outdoor space!

The atmosphere cannot be beat on a beautiful evening outside. The staff was very courteous and attentive and service and food and of course the wine were exceptionally good! I really would like to return before I return to Tennessee! Highly recommend this place!!

The tasting was not very informative: the woman just told us “that’s red wine”, “that’s white wine”. They poured white wine in the same glass after red wine without washing the glass. The waitress was super impatient about boxes and check, I felt unwelcomed.

Summary: five stars when the weather is amazing and the outdoor space is open. 4 stars at all other times.
Ever since they opened the beer garden this summer, it has been a go-to for date night when the weather is beautiful. Even though you have to go get the beers yourself while you're eating, I actually consider that a feature because it allows you to walk around the nice property. Our experience on a Thursday night, had good service outdoors, above average food, and some good local beer choices. The atmosphere is what gives it five stars. On a rainy, or winter day, there are better places to go. But when the weather is right, and the outdoor space is open, it will always be worth the trip. I am not a wine drinker and neither is my wife so check out other reviews for that information.

I loved my experience. My friends and I sat on the outside patio seating area. It really made you feel comfortable. It was a lively environment. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was 8/10. My only negstive thoughts towards the food was the pasta came out luke warm and was slightly undercooked. But the flavor was delicious. My berry wine slushie was flavorful and refreshing, would get again. Overall great experience beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely come back.

Great restaurant, okay winery.
Beautiful building and property with a good selection of food.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available, not sure about dog friendliness... But there is plenty of room, and it wouldn't hurt to call ahead and ask!
The staff is mostly younger and do not know much about the variety of wines they offer, besides the color...
One of the best wineries in the area without going north to Erie.

Narcisi Winery isn't as far away as I thought and I'm so glad my folks suggested going there. It's beautiful. The service was amazing. The wine was delicious (they also had a delicious wine slush my dad saw on the menu, perfect for a hot day), and the food was great. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu.
We ordered a bottle of wine and I had a wine slush, but I had missed the wine flight options on the back of the wine menu. I should have asked - next time, I will definitely get a flight to try, so I can sample more of the wine.
I highly recommend the winery for lunch, dinner, or events. It's such a beautiful location and everything was wonderful.

A must see in the area! The landscape is beautiful. There are many trails and a meadow you can walk through. The museum is self guided and free, with a short movie explaining what took place there. For $5 a person you can take a golf cart tour with a guide. Well worth it!!

Beautiful trails to walk on, all pretty early. Most trails are large and are covered in small pebbles, there are shoot off trails with the au natural look, smaller. Didn't get to venture off onto those today. Family friendly, including dogs. Will be back again!

Hiked on a brisk 32°F Saturday afternoon . Did the blue and green paths. Some trails were blocked by down trees but with care you can pass over it.
Not many myco forms, but I found these tiny fungi and a lightning-struck tree. I also observed many 🦉 boxes. Muddy and slightly hilly

This museum might be small but the battlefield it sits on is quite large. Inside the visitors center you will see artifacts from the French and Indian War. It is well maintained and well kept. It is a reasonable price to learn the history of this site. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and some are dressed in historical costumes. Plenty of parking and public restrooms are available. This is a PA historic and museum commission site.
