Bar
Historic biker bar in a rough-hewn cabin with eats & country dancing plus pool & outdoor horseshoes.
Been coming here for almost 20 years. Best biker bar in so cal. Friendly staff, awesome nature environment, live entertainment and good food. Great for a one day ride.

It was nice to be able to stop in the middle of a beautiful valley to listen to some live music outside and grab a drink. We didn't eat, although a friend says the food is good. Brothers got a beer (2 Modellos) and I got a gin and tonic for a total of $22. Music was good, people were friendly, but no one was wearing a mask anywhere, so if you have any Covid mask concerns (I have some but trust the vaccine), this isn't the place for you if it is crowded.

Being a Biker myself This is a great place To stop at the Historical Cook's
Corner Biker 🏍 bar It's at the Y El Toro road. The right side takes you to Tribuco Canyon And the left side takes you too Irvine Lake. I've been to cooks many times for charity events and just have a good time with friends and drinking some brew.🍺🍻Cook started in the late 1800s. They have live 🎵 music indoors and outdoors🎤🎸🎻🪕🥁.... I hate to say that cooks never had any Problem incidents Like this year. 3 people lost their lives at the bar. And 16 others injured Because of some off duty cop 👮♂️Who went on the rampage? Other than that Miss hap, this is a great place to go. Where you can take the whole family kids welcome. They serve good great food 🍽 there!! Tuesday is spaghetti's 🍜 night. So if you're out, cruising the highway stop at cook's corner and enjoy a drink..... There's even Handicap parking.♿️

Great to ride to for a beer and good live band. Always a pleasant time. Bartender is always so friendly and welcoming.

Staff members were extremely friendly. Food was great. We had a Corners Cobb salad and Tuna Melt. Very large portions. Atmosphere was fun! Definitely go back!

After many years of riding I finally visited cooks. The live music, cold drinks, pretty decent food at a reasonable price. Place has a really good atmosphere, friendly people, recommend to all riders and drivers.

Best and possibly the last hole in the wall bar off a long canyon drive that has a pay phone(see pic). Reminds me of la vida hot springs before it closed down. Best bloody mary ever thanks to Diana and her mixing mastery. Full kitchen for grub.

This place is awesome. Its a biker/bicycle/ locals Bar that has surprisingly really good food. They make great drinks. They're not overpriced very reasonable in my opinion. Has a huge outdoor stage where they have awesome music all the time. It's a hole in the wall but it's loved by everyone around here. I definitely recommend at least checking it out one time just for the experience.

Rode here with some friends over the weekend and it was your typical busy holiday weekend. It's a melting pot of different types of people who are all united with their love of riding motorcycles. Always great vibes from the crowd and also from the staff. Yes, it's a dive bar with dive bar food but you don't come here looking for Michelin-rated food (although it might taste like it after a long ride). You come here for the experience and for the vibe. You come to have a chat with total strangers or hang out with your long time buddies. You come here because you were winding around S18 and just needed a quick break to charge up and ride again. No frills about it. Just a simple, local hang out open to the masses. Come check it our for yourself even if you don't have a motorcycle.

This is the famous Cook’s Corner. A bar and restaurant, known as primarily a destination for motorcycle enthusiasts. On any given day, and especially on weekends, you will find a crowd of motorcycles.
Exceptionally cool atmosphere with good food. They also usually have live music on the weekends, and the occasional special event.
Even though known as a biker hangout, the place is family friendly, as well as dog friendly. It is common to see families with the young children, as well as bicyclists.
A friendly environment, with friendly staff.

Firestone First time here! Have always heard of it. Beautiful drive there through the mountains. If your following a motorcycle your going the right way. Came to support a local band @Saloon 12. The Rueben sandwich was delirious, but took over an hour because of backed up breakfast orders. They also have great food and bars outside. Do this instead! Great biker bar experience. We’ll be back again!

I haven't been here since the 70s. What a flashback. Now outside area for entertainment and eating. My Grandsons and family's and my oldest daughter also here. We had a fun day sitting outside and listening, dancing to the music. I no longer drink alcohol, but that won't stop me from visiting again. Love the ride out there, even if I no longer have my Harley. The food was good, hamburgers and chips n salsa. We will come back.

Bartender was the most awesome ever. She made us feel so welcomed from the minute we walked in until the moment we left. Her service went way above and beyond to make our first visit there a very great experience. Fridays fish and chip special was a great deal!!! We definitely will be back soon!

Large, popular water park with dozens of slides & attractions, plus an area for tots & a sand beach.
This park is so much fun; I would recommend bringing the kids! Only about 3 rides weren't operating that day, which was great! We got on all of the others! The longest line we waited in was 15 minutes! I will admit, I was expecting a longer wait times. Food was AWESOME!
Make sure you remember sun screen AND reapply! Stay hydrated! 💦
I would visit again 😍🤞🏼

The place is a good place to visit with family and friends, to have fun in the water, the rides are good... Just that making a line for so long! It's crazy, by the time they close, you don't enjoy all the rides, maybe a few, and if you want the line to be faster, you have to buy a pass that is a bit pricey 🏊🏼♀️🌊💦⛲😎☀️well other than that my family and I had fun, did our best to enjoyed as much as we could

It's Raging Waters. How can you not have fun? The chicken tenders are definitely expensive at $15 but they're really good if that's any consolation. The fries are also good. The lazy river is fun as long as you're in a tube. The water is very dirty so you don't really want to get in it. The rides are all great and the staff is friendly. It's a good time. Alot plenty of time for parking. While they have several shuttles and a bus, it's alot of people to move around.

I see that there’s a lot of negative reviews on this place but that is not the case on my experience. We had a great time here with the kids. The food is descent but if you want to bring your own food you can. Staff were always friendly to us and helpful. When we went it was clean and the stores were organized. The bathrooms were clean and there was always someone in there cleaning the bathrooms. Overall it was a great experience and would return for summer!

Love working here! Definitely a great team dynamic, plenty of room for advancement, and effcient way to earn some income during the summer months. Also grew up coming here as a guest with family and friends and have made some amazing memories along the way. Seen the transformations and improvements of the park over the years and hope to continue seeing the park provide guests with fun-filled experiences. I recommend a season pass!

Cool family spot but there are a lot of negatives. Pizza at the cabana sucks. Preferred parking is $50! Like wow. Ice was not cold in the drinks. Tubes in the lazy river are first come first serve basis. Waves in the wave pool are not even high. Lol But I would come back tho.
Melystikal — Google review
We got the tickets online the night before, there was a Labor Day sale, one adult ticket was $39.99 plus a service fee around $4 ($8 service fee for 2 tickets). We also bought the standard parking ($25) and H2Go standard pass ($55). The parking was fine, we got there early as the park was opening. You have to ride a tram so I would recommend getting there early if you buy standard parking. We thought the H2Go pass saved a lot of waiting on a Saturday and allowed us to go on more rides. It was not overly crowded. A Beyond Burger w/ fries was around $18, so was the small locker which fit one backpack. It was fun! Lots of enjoyable water rides, my favorites were High Extreme and Bombs Away 😎

Nice and relaxing day once we were permitted to go in area for Cabana we reserved! Gates opened at 10am, wasn't allowed in area to check-in for Cabana til after 10:15am,then not allowed in Cabana area til 11:00am...
Wasted time just standing around.
Need better procedure to accommodate guest.

A summer day perfectly spent with kids and friends!
Pristine wave pool , kiddie pool, and those big slides huh!! The big slides are more than enough for your adequate adrenaline flow...
Please remember of the long lines you will be experiencing for all big rides..
This was my second visit in 4 years and as always I found 2 to 3 rides were under maintenance.
Make sure you have enough of sunscreen and a sunglass.
Food inside is too expensive ,and not that savory , if you are taking premium parking $50, you may bring food and keep in cooler.
Have a waterproof mobile pouch or keep it in locker. Complete park is now cashless.

It's a great place. If you are looking for fun for a day, this would be a perfect water park for you.
But if you are looking for something very exciting, this may not be the best place for you.
There's a shuttle bus for a USD 20 parking pass. Not too far from the park.
We arrive at 1120, leaving around 1700. Save your favorite spot to the last could save your time on queuing.
The summer sale of USD 39.99 per person is a great deal.
I believe that the raging racer is the best facility for those who like exciting facilities and dislike queuing.
C.J. Wang — Google review
Group of 6 friends and I came on Father’s Day and it was -awesome- no long lines on any of the rides, we managed to do every single ride in the park. Snacks and stuff were pretty $$$ but that’s expected at any theme park. The wave pool had very small waves, but the lazy river was fantastic.
Devin Johnson — Google review
No outside food, coolers, or chairs allowed. But was fun! Great family environment. If you map your drive be sure to type " Raging waters parking" it will save you some miles!
Stara Letomaston — Google review
Raging Waters Los Angeles deserves a resounding 5-star rating for its exhilarating water park experience. While the $50 preferred parking is optional, I highly recommend purchasing it for the convenience and ease it brings to the day. The thrilling water rides and attractions make a waterproof cellphone case an absolute must-have, allowing you to capture every exciting moment worry-free. However, finding available lunch tables can be a bit challenging as some visitors leave their belongings on them without renting lockers. Nevertheless, this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall enjoyment the park offers. While the $20 slush with one-time refill availability may not be the best value, the fun-filled activities and joyous atmosphere more than compensate for it. Raging Waters Los Angeles guarantees an unforgettable and splashing good time for everyone, making it an ideal destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.

We went to the water park . The service was good and the slides were fun. The lines were decent in length. At the worst it was a fifteen minute wait.
Biggest advise is to arrive before 10 in order to secure a table for your family.
Do be aware that they have college students as lifeguards and workers at the water park. They were very a good people and friendly .
We also had problems with the parking which will cost $25 . But the bus was so fast to pick up. The food was kind expensive and not every thing they have as cappuccino they don’t have….

Pros = This is the best water park in SoCal, lots of different slides for all ages, a good lazy river, big kids play area, decent food and amenities.
Cons = The $50 "Preferred" parking lot is bullshizzery! You used to be able park close to the entrance if you got there early for the standard fee, but now it doesn't matter, $25 puts in the overflow lots a mile away and you have to wait for a tram, the preferred was half empty all day, that sucks especially for people with little ones.
They also could use some more shade structures around the food area, standing in line for 30-45 minutes in direct sun is brutal at 90+.
A Ev — Google review
Unless you pay $50 bucks for preferred parking, the experience is terrible. Even though it’s no where close to being sold out the tram comes once every 20 minutes. It’s also not very well maintained, slides have holes, speakers are rusted.
San Thach — Google review
Great place to keep Kool on a hot summer day but they have a lot of issues, one day they didn't have parking. It's a cashless park and their whole system was down not able to take payments at the front gate when purchasing tickets. Lines to purchase food can take up to a couple hours to get your food. They need to improve these things and the experience would be better.
Omar Valenciano — Google review
Very bad organization! There is not enough parking space for cars. very long queues for rides and for food. there is not enough space to put your things! no free tables to eat. if you bought a parking lot for $25, get ready to take a bus to the park and then back, there is a very long line back, so it's better to get out early. The food is not very tasty, it is better to take something with you

Family-friendly baseball stadium with plenty of seating hosting minor league baseball games.
I visited 5 other California League ball parks this past week and Storm Stadium was hands down the best. Super friendly and staff, totally stocked gift shop and hella grubbin' food choices. The best part of the layout is that you can see the game from the concession stand lines.
I'll absolutely be back for the next trip to the 3 remaining parks I want to visit.

I LOVE THE DIAMOND! I’ve been coming here for many years and I’ve always felt welcomed, included and happy each time I visit. The classic ballpark feel combined with the cheery atmosphere makes this baseball park a must-visit! Home to the Lake Elsinore Storm, single - A affiliates to the San Diego Padres this park offers an experience that is suitable for all ages year round! You can get pretty good views almost anywhere in the park. The Storm treat their fans great, they have many giveaways and themed nights that are fun, everyone is bound to enjoy a themed night here! The Diamond has several eateries, a gift shop, bars, and a mini restaurant/bar. Oh and I can’t forget Thunder and Mini- Thunder, the fun-loving, twerking mascots that are a staple and fan favorite, I absolutely love them, they make my day! GO STORM!

As well as eight fight league mma And each time it’s always fun. Win or lose, a game with the Lake Elsinore Storm is a wonderful time. Specifically the ballpark is fantastic. Every seat is great. The concessions are delicious. The whole vibe is just plain fun. I don't know when I will be able to get back, but the two games I caught while visiting this trip generated were a memory i will treasure.

Sprawling educational museum with historic railway cars & locomotives, plus weekend rides.
This is a great place to take your family! They had actual train conductors and a running train! It was amazing to see all the different kinds of trains and the history of America's railroads. I hate that it's so far but totally worth the drive if you have someone in your family that loves trains.

Love this little local spot. Had not been here in about 3yrs but we tool the our boys (5&2) on 10/1/22 and they loved it. Plenty to see, you get left alone to wander or you can ask for a tour. The train is fun, the trolleys are fun. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

What a perfect day to have 100+ ackers of railroad wonderment. My wife and daughter enjoyed it even though it was more for Papa. (Love you girls). It was very well narrited by 1 of many well-informed tour guilds. Plenty of parking and trams are available, but in most cases, to see the entirety of the exhibits is necessary due to the large are the museum encompasses. Men will love it and so will the boys. Let's jot forget to is a outdoor venue so dress accordingly.

A decent train museum. The train museum is free to enter. You have to pay if you want to take the train rides and most of the excitement among kids are for the train rides. There are three trains over the weekend. One trolley ride which is random. If there are people they just take them around for a ride for a short route and has three stops. The diesel and electric trains are the other two rides and take same routes and 30 minutes apart. See image with schedule for details. It took us $12 per adult and $8 per kid from 5-12. Under 4 ride free. (May 2022).

Took our son here for his fourth birthday on a weekday. It’s was pretty disappointing, everything was closed to walk through and it was a ghost town.
We hope we can try to come back on a week day to ride the trains and see everything open.
It would definitely be beneficial to have things more open on a weekday for stay at home moms

What a fun place! It's so cool to see how we used to move around and what helped our nation (and specifically our state grow and become what it is today). On weekends you can ride the train (a little fee, but well worth it). Had a wonderful experience. A couple of the trains there my 100 year old grandma road in Los Angeles! Highly recommend and think places like this are very important so come visit and keep them growing!!
Nathalie — Google review
We went to the Dino Train event this weekend. My grandson (2 1/2) was a bit afraid of trains. Simply because we were on a walk several weeks back and the Metrolink Train tooted it's horn before crossing the street. Which was the right thing for the train, but totally scared our grandson. So I wanted a fun/safe environment for him to get onto a train. This event worked like a charm. He now loves trains again and totally enjoyed riding on the train and trolley. Thank you so much for a great experience for him! And us!

Great place to have fun with your kiddos. My son is autistic and loves trains. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They allow train rides on Saturday and Sunday’s.

Had a fantastic time at the Museum. We visited after scheduling a Run One Experience while on vacation.
The Run One Program was beyond what I was expecting. Friendly staff, easy going and knowledgeable. It’s a short track and not much to see, but you get lots of practice configuring the locomotive and using all of the switches and controls required. Well worth the cost, it keeps these beautiful machines running!
The rest of the museum is interesting, much more so if you are a fan of street cars/trolleys. The only way to see much is with the guided tour, all the buildings are otherwise locked up. I believe this is more available to walk through on the weekends when they have more volunteers to help out.
Only disappointment was that I was hoping to see more of the full sized diesel’s and equipment which unfortunately were tucked away. That’s the only reason I took off a star.
Sounds like there are many good things happening at the museum in the next few years! Looking forward to coming back when that work is done!

This was a cool place. Def need more than 1.5 hours of you want to explore all the areas and ride the trains. It's a cute place to bring a picnic and relax. You can also do other activities like pay to drive one of the trains, you can also buy a brick that can be engraved and they place it in their walkway (brick or some options avlb and polished some or non polished). They also do a Polar Express theater train ride during Christmas time. I want to come back and see that. You do actually get to go up into the trains in some parts so you can see the inside. I'd have a flashlight though because some of them don't have much light coming inside. I didn't know this was here and it's really not that far away for random things to do in California. (They said Saturdays are the best of you want to ride the diesel train)

Outdoor retail complex with popular brand-name stores, plus restaurants & a movie theater.
This is a fantastic outdoor mall location. Well placed with a great mix of classic well known shops, great eats and mom and pop shops. There is a theater and plenty of sitting areas, parking and fun things to see. There are surrounding stores and restaurants to visit as well. Ample parking and close to freeway.
The Conscientious Critique — Google review
I love coming here during the holidays to see the Christmas lights and browse all the shops they have. It does get very crowded and parking can be difficult to find even in the lots outside the mall especially on the weekends. Some of my favorite food spots here are Lucille's, The State, and The Dessert Bar. The mall has a little grassy area towards the center where kids usually play, and during the holidays they can catch a train ride or a picture with Santa. The streets and sidewalks are also wheelchair/stroller friendly, though since it gets crowded it can get hard to navigate inside a smaller store.

I think Victoria Gardens is a great place to shop and eat. It's got such a good vibe and a lot of the great stores.
Plus it has a gravity to it. If you're in the Rancho Cucamonga area for any reason, you'll be drawn there. I was in the area to attend Rolling Loud California and needed some extra warm clothing because of the unseasonably cool weather. I got what I wanted and a great meal all in a place that truly felt alive and vibrant.

I'd you love good food, good shopping, and a great atmosphere then make your way to Victoria Gardens. This place has it all and then some. From fast food to upscale dining, lounge wear to formal it's here. My favorite time to visit is the holiday season because of the decorations and the big beautiful Christmas tree in the courtyard that brings smiles to so many. Great place to take a walk and window shop or people watch with a nice warm cup of coffee or hot cocoa. Fun for people of all ages. Come and enjoy what the IE has to offer. Tonight we celebrated our anniversary at Paul Martin's. Beautiful restaurant with a great menu, bar and staff that makes for an excellent dining experience .

Victoria Garden is the landmark in Rancho Cucamonga especially around the holiday season. The Christmas atmosphere there is simply magical! It is a great place to hang out with friends and family, take a walk or enjoy a good meal in a relaxing atmosphere. However, there have been some safety concerns lately such as car windows bring smashed or cars being broken into. Like in any other places, always be mindful of your surroundings especially when you park your car.

This mall feels more high-end than the one down at Ontario. The streets are decorated, and you can drive through this mall which makes this mall feel like a small town on its own. This has a very similar feel to The Americana back home.

Love this outdoor mall, can be busy but always able to find parking. Love the shops and restaurant they have to offer, love the cobble stone sidewalks, fun just to walk around and people watch as well. Lots of benches through out the property. Lots to do even if you don’t wNt to shop, like train and water pad for kids, farmers market available too.

I wish I knew about this fun place when I first moved out here. It is so fun, has so many brands and stores to shop at. Quite possibly one of the best times that I’ve had in Cali was at this shopping center. I don’t know that I can call it a shopping center. It appeared to be so much more than that. There were a plethora of stores that were appealing to myself as well as my mom and other family. There was no way we could finish this in one evening. There were too many stores and restaurants to name. I plan to conquer this mega-outdoor mall upon my return because I will not be defeated. Plenty of parking and the best thing about it was that it was outside.

Victoria Gardens is a great place, lots of stores for sure, so many that couldn't take pictures of all. From regular to fancy stores.... WOW !! The parking is huge and if you are lucky you get to find parking by the streets where stores are at. There is an AMC theatre in between all that, many nice restaurants of all kinds of food as well. Also a little train ride for kids. Be prepare to walk a lot...... it's worth it though.

I love coming here to shop and eat. I live 30 min away, we don’t have anything like this in my town. There are so many shops and restaurants and the streets are always clean. High-speed racing venue where visitors can drive or ride along in an authentic NASCAR vehicle.
Went to a race in February of 2023 and it was a fantastic experience. Besides getting in which was just waiting in a long line of cars, the racing experience itself was fantastic. The food options were endless, there was a pretty solid selection of merchandise. It was a very entertaining race and the best part was Kyle Bush (the winner). Definitely sad they’re turning it into a short track, but still happy I was able to see track before the renovations. 10/10

Amazing NASCAR Experience!!!
The NASCAR Racing Experience is one of the best NASCAR schools in America! For anyone who wants speed and thrills, come to this experience! The team is really awesome and nice, and the drivers are great! And the experience itself is really awesome!! For anyone who wants speed, come to this experience! It’s a ton of fun!

The roar of the engines is defending and the gush of wind that follows is tremendous while more than you can count race cars go flying across the track at 180, 190+ mph miles per hr. It's hardcore entertainment.

Have you ever dreamed of getting behind the wheel of a real NASCAR race car? Well, believe it or not, this is a dream that can come true with a visit to the Richard Petty Driving Experience in nearby Fontana.
During this incredible experience, you’ll drive an authentic NASCAR race car. These cars have been driven by NASCAR greats, and you never know, you may end up driving one that was driven by one of your racing heroes.

Never go here. Horrendous service with shady last minute cancellations and no refunds. Crazy that a place like this is allowed to operate a business.
The Mission Inn Museum is located in a National Historic Landmark hotel built in the Mission Revival style. It showcases local history and art through various unique artifacts with interesting histories. Admission to the museum is free, and visitors can also purchase souvenirs from the gift shop. However, photography is not allowed during the tour despite some guests taking pictures. The knowledgeable tour guide provides an informative experience for visitors despite this restriction.
The Mission Inn Museum has a few interesting historical exhibits and is free admission. It was interesting to read about the artifacts as they each had unique histories
There is also a gift shop as well which had some nice items for sale, we were interested in purchasing some earrings but unfortunately they were closing so we ran out of time.

Had a fun tour around the Mission Inn Museum and our tour guide was very informative and nice (Sorry forgot his name). During the tour my husband and I witnessed this gorgeous bride have her wedding shoot at this famous historical hotel & landmark.

The Mission Inn is amazing 5 star all the way. The 4 star rating is for the tour. It is worth it BUT we were not allowed to take any pictures. I don't know why when guest were taking pictures. The tour guide was good. She was knowledgeable. I just could not get over the NO picture thing.

I highly recommend the Mission Inn tour, it is fabulous! Everyone is so informative, helpful and so enthusiastic about what they do. The museum, the Inn, and restaurants were all amazing!

I hate to do it, but I left a bit meh here. It wasn’t the worst, but not the best either. The museum itself felt more like a gift shop to me. So many items for purchase. Souvenirs galore. While they did have some really cool items on display I left fast and bored. They do have some tours for purchase that can get you into the Inn, but no photography is allowed on the tour. I did not go in the tour so I can’t review that part, but I myself was in and out of the museum in under 20 minutes. I was greeted on entry, but other than that the employees just sat and talked amongst themselves.

The tour of the mission inn was very insightful. It is a must see destination for history and architecture and the tour guides do an amazing job protraying that.

This is a great museum and shop. Whether you're a Riverside local or not this is a great stop. It tells the history of the Mission Inn and Riverside and the significance the Hotel has had in shaping the city as we know it today. Offer a wonderful 75 minute walking tour of the hotel daily.

Paid tours. 15 for residents and 20 for non-residents. The guide was very knowledgeable. Apparently they are volunteering.
Hot when explaining outside. Bring sunscreen and ur own shade.
Lots of history. Go into hotel to see some rooms, presidential suite. Lots of presidents came here.

This is should be on your Holiday-go-to list! We went last minute and just enjoyed the lights outside the hotel but were already worth it! Purchasing tickets online would be great but there would still be a line going inside the hotel.
Outside displays and lights are amazing and we topped it off with hot chocolate while walking around.

The Mission Inn sells a lot of a souvenirs. The Mission Inn is a must see in Riverside, as it contains a lot of history.
There is also a 75 minute tour. You get a tour inside the museum. You see the inside of the museum. You learn more about the history of the museum. You get an explanation of some of the artwork there. The fee for the tour is worth it if you have some time in downtown Riverside.

I thought the free part was bigger, it was very confusing to find the museum. I saw the huge hotel but I thought it was a big museum. It’s very beautiful and captivating either way! I found out the tours were $15 each I’ll catch it another time.
Multiple ski areas plus tubing, night riding, lessons, rentals & disc golf in the summer.
The slopes are great and the lifts are simple. If it is your first time it is best to go with the lesson, rental, and lift package for price and value. If you are on a budget go on a weekday night ride, less crowds and free parking. The food is pretty good with reasonable prices. They have a repair shop and gear store.

Great staff outside to help with newbies getting their release forms signed and lift tickets for the day. Bunny slopes are ideal for beginners and nice intermediate groomed trails as well. Weekend are busy, so arriving early is best! Check me on the regular on IG @Dreamtreecoaching

Close enough to get to from San Diego without having to drive up very curvy roads. Always a good weekend resort to get your snowboarding or skiing "fix" when you don't have a lot of time for vacation. Parking is not free, but the ramp and lower self parking level are free. Love their repair and services department, very helpful! The food in their Cafe can really add up on expenses, so bringing your own (but not allowed inside resort) is always a wise plan. Love that they have night boarding and the flex pass starts whenever you arrive. You don't feel pressured for time starts. Their customer service is also very friendly, understanding and helpful!

Love that this resort is so close to the city. The service throughout the entire resort was 5 star: the lift mechanics are kind , helpful and friendly. the rental equipment people were also very nice & helpful. only downside is that a few of the lessons instructors werent that friendly. Overall, great experience and would definitely visit again~! *Buy ticket (lift, rental, etc) online prior to driving up

Super easy drive up from LA with minimal crowds on a Saturday in April. Still pretty decent coverage on the ground with almost every run open at the West Resort. They groomed most of the terrain leading to some great corn turns by mid day! Afternoon conditions here get pretty sticky this time of year though.

Overall, the experience was awesome for a first-timer. Beware it can be very pricey ($150-$180 per adult if renting equipment). The slopes were fun and had enough thrill for us. There are definitely higher and steeper adventures for the more experienced. They have a restaurant on site, a bar, free wifi, ski/snowboard shop for necessities, bathrooms, and plenty of parking and benches. Parking was free when we went on a weekend in April. Highly recommend if you've never gotten on ski's or a snowboard before. Every worker we came interacted with at the park was very kind and helpful. Be sure to get your free stickers and air freshener at the information cabin!

Quick drive away from LA. Not crowded Thursday, a little foggy and windy towards the top, but fresh combed powder makes this beginner skier happy.
The chair lifts need some TLC, and the food is below average given the above average prices. I would pack lunch and snacks from home on my next visit.
I found the staff friendlier and more helpful than other So Cal snow resorts, a plus that makes the day trip worth it.
Overall, the family had a great day. Thanks mountain high 😁

An amazing winter oasis in real close proximity to west LA.
I love skiing and to be able to have the luxury of doing so while not leaving Southern California is a dream.
Although at times it may be Icy the trails are well groomed and even when storms have yet to arrive the staff makes sure their is enough snow to feel like you are skiing in the Swiss alps.
Two thumbs up
Side note. Renting sometimes takes some time so I highly recommend either leaving yourself extra time or renting from the city a few miles down the road.

This is one of the best ski/snowboarding resort for beginners. Compared to other places in CA, there isn't a lot of people here so you can get many runs in per hour. The parking is also spacious and wide, and the lift chairs are spaced out so no pressure to get off/on asap. The staff is very friendly. Buying a Season ticket for sure. Plus, getting here is easier than other places.

Fast moving lift lines, very good veteran discount and good vibes. The staff is nice, helpful, and friendly and always willing to help. I began snowboarding this season and have already visited 3 times, one being a bust due to high winds. If you want a good place to learn to snowboard/ski this place is for you.

Great local mountain with lots of snow. Not too crowded. Quick and easy drive. Awesome place to teach kids how to ski or snowboard. Friendly staff, great grilled food items, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Small mountain compared to big bear. Really small compared to Mammoth or Tahoe. But it under $100 for all day. Look for discount coupons .

If I am skiing for one day, I'm going to mountain high. Easy access. No windy mountain roads and free lift tickets on your b-day. It's not too crowded and the slopes are good for my skill level.
Joe Mardesic — Google review
Fun outing for this winter. It was clean, snow was soft, not too badly crowded. Check in was easy enough. They offer a free shuttle if you have to park in the lower lot. The lifts felt safe and were cute for some Instagram pics. For 120 dollars and 4 hours, I think it was priced fairly. Food was 10ish dollars per item (hot dog, soup, pizza slice) but expected for a resort. 7/10
My complaint is that it is not beginner friendly. Even the easiest slopes were located close to ravines and gullies, which made them scary/dangerous as someone completely inexperienced. I wouldn’t recommend visiting if you haven’t 1) taken classes 2) know how to snowboard. A lot of seasoned riders will get irate with you if you’re down for more than a couple seconds. The crowds right now are weird people. Ruins the fun
Other than that, good time. I can see myself coming back now that I understand a bit more 😼

All these years, I have put off coming to Mountain High to snowboard 🏂🏼 because of all the inferior reviews from friends and online forums. However, upon spending the day here, I actually enjoyed it more than the Big Bear Resort. The drive to this location was so much easier: no winding roads! We live in West LA and were able to get there in less than 2 hours (so you could easily make a day trip here and go back home on the same day!). There was plenty of parking and if the main resort's parking was full, there's a parking lot 1 mile away and you could take the shuttle to the resort! Additionally, I have read somewhere that the snow 🌨️ tends to be thin here and that it's very icy 🧊. Admittedly, when we were there, the snow wasn't thick, but it was definitely not icy!
In terms of difficulty, I thought the beginner friendly tracks were enjoyable. The more advanced tracks were also clearly labeled as "not for beginners". As for the lift tickets and equipment rentals, I suggest you do that online and then make sure to keep your tickets for future visits ($10 discount per person if you keep the used tickets; they are rechargeable).
Overall, I definitely recommend Mountain High Resort if you don't want to deal with long drives and don't mind the thin snow (you'll still be able to enjoy skiing or snowboarding here regardless!).

Yeti snow village is so much fun with its tubing, sledding, snow play area and ski lift with a nice cabin up top for some warm drinks. They don’t have hot water you have to get hot tea or hot cocoa. The line is long for tubing. You can’t bring your own equipment. Each section is first come first serve. They have paid parking lot $20, and the all day ticket is $79, they have a store for snow gear and a cafe with food and drinks.

Horrible. Went for what I thought was a free concert then found out we had to pay a fee. Super Small area. I was willing to pay the fee but then was told that I was not allowed in because the dress code doesn’t allow sandals without a heel strap… RIDICULOUS!!! It doesn’t even say anything about their dress code on their website OR at the place!!!!

I am having a bad experience right now. Waitress Ibeth spilled drinks on us just because she got distracted by saying hi to her friends ..even tho she brought the drinks we didn't ask for. It's been 30 min and we haven't had what we asked. We complained about it with "Jorge" twice ... he did NOTHING about it. Don't come to this place. They charge you to enter and for the table that is not even worth it.

I can't say enough about how TERRIBLE this place was. What a waste of money!! Those teenage looking managers were on a huge power trip and were so rude,They desperately need a course on customer service. I Celebrated my 40th birthday with a huge group and had to pay $20 a person just to enter another $50 just to sit and $8 for each little 1/4" shot in a Dixie cup. $300 later they CHANGED rules half way through the night to force masks WHILE we were all dancing. I called ahead to reserve a table and wasn't told any of this before hand. Such a disappointment

Park's 84 acres are dominated by Lake Gregory, which is surrounded by trails, picnics & pines.
Love it! The walk is great around the lake, lovely scenery, fresh air, beautiful mountains and trees. Many times we been here and I cant get enough of it. For the 1st time we went on a boat ride around the lake on a cold day because we reserved a reservation weeks before. We made the best fun out of it with bubbles, blankets, and a Bose to connect to our music. My daughter loved it. I recommend doing it.

Lake Gregory is one of my most absolutely favorite places. From taking a beautiful, serine and peaceful walk around the lake, to fishing, kayaking, boating, duck feeding, and the water park; there is always something to enjoy here. Lake Gregory has the cutest night markets with good eats and amazing vendors, amongst the monthly events that are hosted here. This weekend we enjoyed and participated in the annual lantern festival. It is always a romantic and memorable special experience with your loved ones. I highly recommend this event and Lake Gregory. Oh, there is also a dog park.

Beautiful, relaxing walk around the lake. Any time of year, you can make it around in a little over an hour. There is a lovely event center at one end and a grassy area near the senior center. In the summer, people use the waterpark and picnic along the shoreline.

This is a small lake compared to big bear and arrowhead lake but in my opinion this is the most beautiful of them all. You can walk around the whole lake, I haven’t done it but it looks doable. There are areas where you can swim but you have to pay to do that. Definitely recommend this little gem.

Regarding the inflatable zone. ONE ATTENDANT is admitting the online ticket holders at the gate. A thousand people in line. ONE attendant. (See photo of line) ONE person is also checking all coolers for alcohol. The checking process is incredibly slow and inefficient. We have been in line 30 minutes on blazing asphalt with no shade and moved about half way to the entrance. So it looks like we will miss first hour of play time.
Meanwhile the line for the walk up ticket windows has about 30 people and they are let in (a separate gate, cutting line) very quickly.
It’s a county park. Government sloth employees mindset. DMV meets water park FTW!!!
Update: Per the Ranger I spoke with, swimming is PROHIBITED in the ENTIRE lake except at the paid water park area. You can only enjoy swimming for a fee and long wait in line. Nature is heavily regulated here.
Update: there is also an hour line to play on the inflatables after the park entry line (photo)👍👍

What a fun and great place to visit for the whole family. Dog friendly is a huge plus. Dogs must be on leash when not in the dog parks. You can walk the entire lake via trails and roads. There are many spots for fishing and chillin'. I've never been here at night, but it must be so beautiful. There's also a free trolley for the lake area. At least for the weekend.

Such a great area for an easy 4mile walk around the lake. Stop halfway for a boat ride along the lake. If you are going to rent a canoe I recommend starting earlier in the day. Mid afternoon can bring strong wind. I went mid-October and the area was not crowded. I heard from many people that it can get really crowded in the summer. With that being said, all the activities described sound like a fun family outing. It is amazing how close to LA this little mountain town is and how far from the bustle of the city I felt. Great way to detox from the city and recharge.

Great place to take the family and spend a day. Parking is $10 for the whole day and there is a nice trail, a bit over two miles, that will take you around the lake. If you are interested in the aquatic/inflatable water park, it opens around May and closes for the season in late September.

What a fun place. We came here while camping at dogwood because it was a hot day and we heard that the had water play here. We came on a Wednesday in July so it's summer time and everyone is out camping. We got here at about 11 and it was already pretty busy. The main parking lot was full but we found a place on the street and it was a short walk. For the ticket to play on all the water blowups and the big slide it was 20 bucks. A little more than I would like to pay but was still worth it. The beach had a lot of people but we were able to find a great spot on the water. The big slide was fun but the line went pretty slow. The blowups were a blast. I'm an old guy (42) and I was out there with two of my teanagers and really had a great time. Even with a LOT of people out playing you still find your place and are able to play. They allowed ice chest and drinks but no alcohol. They also had a little stand with food and drinks. We will be back here for sure because it was a great day.

Found Lake Gregory because Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead were too crowded. Lake Gregory is not as big as the two other popular lakes that's it's more peaceful around here.
It's great for kids too because there was plenty of space to play with snow and build snowmen. Parking was not a problem, however, the snow was thick and deep, our car (Subaru Outback) even had a hard time going in and getting out of the parking area.
I would love to come here in spring and other seasons. It probably will be beautiful and still peaceful.

Lake Gregory is a beautiful place to visit, easy to get to with parking right on the shoreline at the northern end and though I've never caught a fish there it's fun to try while cooling off in the water!
There's a hiking trail all the way around the lake and a water park at the southern end that's great for everyone!
I only gave it a 4 star because it can get a little windy at times but still worth the drive up the mountain!

Clean up and some construction is currently going on in the south parking lot, which is good to see they are maintaining things here. The park is kept up pretty well. There is a dog park, fishing, exercise equipment and a small water park. You can walk around most of the lake (maybe the whole thing but we didn't make it). It is a nice area to get away from the cities. There are a few benches and trash bins on the walking trail.
Museum dedicated to Route 66, famed Main Street of America, has stories, photos, artifacts & more.
What a fun museum. Such a beautiful layout of Route 66 memorabilia and archives. Delvin is a volunteer whom we had the pleasure of speaking with. He is so knowledgeable about the route and has fun facts to share with anyone who wants to listen. He is very friendly and his excitement to share his stories is contagious. He is great at pointing out some of the smaller details that might get lost in this plethora of goodies. The museum has several cute little photo ops and some larger ones too. This museum is put together well and they take care to display their items so it isn't a bunch of stuff just put in a corner. Would highly recommend the California Route 66 Museum for all ages.

California Route 66 Museum
Route 66 Victorville, California
February 2022
We visited the California Route 66 Museum last year and we decided to revisit the Museum once again this year on our latest road trip. The reason for this trip was to actually see more of the Museum and see more of the displays. Our previous trip was more of a Photographic trip. There is always something you miss or probably didn't see on a previous visit. This was the case. We looked more into the old photos to learn more about the history. Thankfully we had some much needed help from several of the volunteers such as Delvin Roy Harbour and Benita Morgan-Bushop. There was one other volunteer at the museum but unfortunately I did not get her name. Delvin showed us some older photos and what building were there at that time period. It was fantastic looking at these photos and listening to its history. Of course we still manage to take lots of photos in the museum..
The Museum is a great place to visit. There are lots of photo opportunities especially for selfies or with family and friends. Take a seat in The VW bus or take a photo by the classic car or even take a photo in front of the Victorville Outhouse. With several rooms and displays you can learn so much about this Route 66 Town and history. The museum also has a gift shop with great merchandise. We have added a few photos of the merchandise in this post.
We definitely will be returning in the near future. It's a fun place to visit with great volunteers and lots of fun things to see.

Took my dog and drove here on new year's day. Followed the sign. Pushed the gate and went in to take a look around. We were the only ones there. There were random stuffs but the bottle trees were uniquely displayed. Thank you Mr Elmer and family that kept it up.

We stopped by on the way to Vegas. It’s a good 2.5 hour drive from San Diego and was a good break. It’s along Route 66 nothing but plots of dirt land.
Depends on where you look, the hours listed may be different and I read that visitors come and the gates are locked. But I saw somewhere that they open at 7am and I emailed to confirm but never got a response. We took a chance and got there 8:45am. Surprisingly they were open with a sign that says “Welcome come on in”. It’s a wire gate with a latch that you let yourself in. We spent a total of 15 minutes.
It’s just a bunch of glass jars, antiques and iron works. Saw an old rusted cash register, sewing machine, hood caps, random various items large and small, high and low. Very photo worthy from all angles.

An incredible and iconic place on Route 66!
You gotta make sure to plan a visit here because everything is absolutely crazy (in a good way).
The place features a huge collection of bottles lined up in vertical poles and decorated with bizarre items, which thanks to the sun give very nice colors and shadows.
There is a big parking space in front and the entrance is free, although a small offer is appreciated for the care that everyday is put in this place.

Recommended plate to stop for 5 to 10 minutes, since it's not a huge place. Sculptures made out of bottles and other recycled items. Made by creative mind(s). Good photo op. Please bring some cash to leave a donation (donation box at the back, towards the house)

We visited Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch in May, 2023. I gave a five star rating not because it was the best place ever. No, it was because of the uniqueness of the place. When we stopped, it didn't see like anyone was around. But they had a sign to open the gate and visit.
We didn't stay all that long since we were really pressed for time since we stretched ourselves thin that day. We walked around and took pictures. I was amazed with the artistry in thinking to create such a place.
We stayed for a few minutes and enjoyed this magical little place. Then we close the gate behind us and were gone almost as fast as we arrived. All I can say is that if you are driving by, and maybe doing Route 66. You really should take the time to visit Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch. It's unique and interesting. I gave it five stars because of that.

A must see if you are travelling Route 66! An amazing array of bottles and vintage items used to create a forest of alternative trees. This has clearly taken a lot of time and effort to make and it is a great roadside attraction. Highly recommended!

Such a cool place! I know Elmer has passed but I am so happy to see they are keeping his vision alive. When we were there, there were a lot of people walking around looking at his awesome designs! This is a must stop on Route 66 to see the place and his designs. You could spend some real time here looking at the different trees and what each one has. So Cool!!

Beautiful open air museum made of about 200 large metal pipes holding colorful glass bottles in the shape of trees. It was the work of Elmer Long (passed away in 2019) who collected all the bottles in the desert with his father. The entrance is free but you can leave a donation (there was nobody at the time of my visit).

Been a minute since I came to this unique spot. Never fails to amuse me. So much art to appreciate and love how hardly anyone is here. It's not your typical overcrowded popular spot.

Absolutely fantastic! Found this place through a Google search of what to do near Adelanto california. It steered us here, and we didn't know what to expect. Driving up, it was clear why this place is so interesting. Had a nice chat with Brian who is the current caretaker of the place. It's obvious that he cares about the story of Elmer.. we spent a long time walking around again and again. You see something new each time you walk around! We left our own wine bottle with Brian, hoping it ends up on a new tree. Definitely going back here-- it's an easy drive from Vegas and well worth the time!!

Definately not what I expected. There is no shop, no employees, no one to greet you. You park, enter a gate and look around. Would I stop again, probably not...but it was a fun little adventure off the beaten path that allowed us to stretch out legs and goof off a bit. Oh, and the drive to it reminded me of scenes from "Rat Race".

The Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is an all-year-round entertainment center, featuring winter bobsled tracks and summer water slides. The facility can be accessed via a chairlift and offers a range of activities for families to enjoy, including skiing, snow tubing, and building snowmen. It's located just a couple of hours away from Los Angeles and boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding area. If you're traveling with children, they'll love the experience too!
I had a great time at Big bear Lake with my family..! Just a couple of hours away from Los Angeles, it’s a wonderful place to spend a day or weekend, skiing, snow tubing, building a snowman or just enjoying the beautiful views. If you go with kids, it’s going to be more fun and they’re gonna love it for sure..! We booked a condo through Airbnb and that was so beautiful too..! I also highly recommend you to visit the Big bear Lake Village..! It was nice walking around the lake and getting pizza from the village..!

Great place to do a variety of things with the family. From the slides, the coaster, water slides, zipline, video games, and food court. Be aware, that if you tried to do everything in a day, you may spend more here than you would at Disneyland. But, if you're looking for some fun in the mountains, this is a great stop.
We went on a Sunday, I'm sure Saturday's are much busier.
There isn't any entry fee, you pay for each individual ride you decide to participate in. So it's nice in that aspect especially if you're on a budget or just want to do a quick ride on one thing and move on.
Martin T — Google review
Awesome place. At the time it is $9 per slide and 5 slides for $40 I think (forgot). You have to sign a waiver just in case you fly out so expect to add maybe 10 more minutes before you can even slide. After that you take the lift to the top and choose your cart to go down with. They look worn but it didn't matter when I used mine. At the top, you can choose from 2 lanes. One is meant for slower sliders but it's the same parallel track. They instruct you how to use the brakes and you're off. That simple. Just as a note, it can pick up speed quick so careful not to fly out the track and have fun!
I didn't record going down but I'll update it next time I go for sure.
Worth it and you can gain some speed if you really want to.

Hours of entertainment with so many different options here. It's not cheap, but worth trying. They really stepped up there. Summertime, non-snow activities. While the Alpine slide is still a blast, the new mineshaft coaster ($20) is fast, exhilarating and surprisingly long. Go karts and other attractions add to the fun.

Wanted to go here on our visit to Big Bear because of all the great attractions and great reviews. It was snowing and the only attraction open was tubing. But that is the one thing we wanted to do as we didn't go skiing or anything. It was so much fun! The hill was just the right size and was exciting. I went about 4 times! The kids loved it! The price was about $10 more then should be, but I'm cool with it. Will have to come during the summer next to experience the other attractions!!
Jennifer Nillaga — Google review
Very fun. It's one of the best things to in Big Bear. However the prices are very steep. Like Seriously, 12$ for a short Zipline Like experience and the coaster was also highly priced. Though it was an enjoyable experience that I think you should go if you can afford, just keep in mind that if you do most of the activities with a family it can get very pricey.
Nicolas Macho — Google review
One of the very few places to go snow tubing during the winter when there's no snow, thanks to their snow machines. Came here for the snow tubing. Everyone loved it.
It gets busy pretty early. By noon, the parking lot was full. Entrance for tubing was $45 a person. It includes tubes and lift. Hanging out in the food area and outside the play area is free.
They do have other types of rides. Went in the Coaster and it was amazingly fun, way better than a ride at an amusement park.
There wasn't much seating in the eating area for how busy it got. But the food was a decent price and good for a small snack bar.
It was well worth the time and money to get away from the city. The drive was beautiful, with lots of trees and a huge lake. You could also spend part of the day at the city center.
I would recommend this place, especially if you have kids. They seem to love the snow.
Willem Van Der Rest — Google review
This place is pretty awesome! I would advise getting there early before they open if you visit on a holiday weekend like I did. The parking lot was horribly congested.
The coaster and luge are pretty fun. The coaster is expensive for one ride — $20.
The lines move slightly faster than you’d think, but they really should make it easier to sign the waiver. It holds up the lines.
Otherwise, there are also some other attractions that I didn’t bother with. But, it’s worth a stop.
Mel M — Google review
This place is an absolute blast! In my honest opinion, the mine shaft coaster is a must if you visit Big Bear Lake in the warmer months. It gets a little pricey with paying separately for the coaster, alpine slide, go karts- but it's worth it.
Nicholas McLaughlin — Google review
Overpriced and overrated. $20 for one ride on the roller coaster. $9 per go cart ride. $9 per slide down the hill. $9 per trip for snow tubing. You will spend as much as you would at Disneyland. No good food options. One particular staff member made me so mad, I was almost willing to catch an assault charge but there was no snow this Thanksgiving week so I had no choice but to let my kids play all day there.
Jimmy Pham — Google review
This was such a great place to spend the day with the family. They have great snow tubing and other rides also. There is a roller coaster, zip line, bumper cars, and slide long slide to go down on a little sled. There is a place to order food and drinks and a restroom inside. Everything is a separate price and the lines do get long in the early afternoon. Go early to beat the crowds.
Camille Rios — Google review
We visited on New Year's Day and waited 45 minutes to sign the waivers. Then we went and bought tickets which was a quick line. Only thing is you buy the day pass for almost $50 and then the chair lift is an add on, as is the rollercoaster. So it is not an all inclusive ticket. It could get very pricey with all of those combined. The arcade is lacking with approximately only 10 games, several of which were broken. The inside is small and basic, some picnic tables outside. But they sell churros! Yum! (I think $4 each).
All in all it felt like a bit of a rip off and the long wait did not help. But hopefully it is shorter and quicker on a non holiday. The kids loved the tubing and chair lift to the sledding tube, however, so all was not lost!
Grace Beckett — Google review
We had so much fun! The activities were a little pricey but definitely worth it. We spent one afternoon tubing and the next day we rode the eagle and the alpine coaster and all of the activities were a blast!
Sign your waivers before getting in line or they will not let you participate. We got a cabin within walking distance so we didn't have to hassle with parking which seemed pretty full on weekends.
Cara — Google review
I'm giving them a three because it is frustrating that you have to go to 3 different places to buy tickets. They should have one designated area to buy tickets for all the events. It feels like there are three separate owners working on one location. From a business standpoint, they would be able to make more revenue by creating package deals if there was oly one area to buy tickets.
Ron Quintana — Google review
It's a little pricy for what you get but the kids love it, tubing, alpine slide, some old video games, snack bar, DON'T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR WAIVERS before getting in line for the rides
C Armistead — Google review
I liked the atmosphere and the games, but the tiring thing is when you waiting to take a line to get a ticket for ride and when you take the line for waiver, is very long, it takes an hour and more , and in the end you will play one game a day, and at 4 pm they close . we played in the snow for one hour for three persons . It cost $140.games are expensive there.
Big Bear Lake, a small city in Southern California, is nestled on the shores of the picturesque Big Bear Lake and surrounded by the rugged San Bernardino National Forest. It's a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts with its Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ski resorts, as well as its mountain trails. The town offers a charming village with boutiques, gift shops, and restaurants. The area's stunning landscapes have made it a sought-after filming location for Hollywood producers.
The Big Bear Discovery Center is a substantial facility that showcases exhibitions centered around nature, eco-tours, an amphitheater, and maps of the trails in the area. Visitors can register for tours of Big Bear Lake via canoe or kayak as well as guided trips led by naturalists to explore the Baldwin Lake Ecological Reserve. Unfortunately, the exhibits at the Discovery Center are closed temporarily due to remodeling, but outside activities such as nature walks and talks are still offered periodically by park rangers or volunteers.
This center was very informative and has interactive activities for kids to learn. The restroom is clean, but there are no trash cans to throw away. There is a gift shop if interested, I got a keychain.

The people here are so friendly and helpful! There are some small exhibits to look at and some children’s activities. There are restrooms available in the front. They also confirmed for me that my America The Beautiful interagency pass is good for parking in these US Forest areas too and gave me a hanger for my rear view mirror

Unfortunately the Discovery Center exhibits are closed for remodeling now, so there wasn't anything to see. We walked the Alpine Trail to get here and it was a nice easy walk. There were rangers/volunteers setting up outside, and they're still having nature talks/walks periodically outside the building. The bathrooms were EXTREMELY clean. Water fountains weren't working though so fill up water elsewhere.

A very popular goto place when you need guidance from the most friendly and professional rangers about where to go and hike in the Big Bear Lake area. They would provide you with free map and point out where to park if you want to save money buying day pass. The location offered a very informative display for the kids to see and touch. And there are short hikes suitable to the very young or old.

All I needed was to use the restroom but they lock them all at 7pm. Talk about human suffering.. Also we Loved how they had Multiple Vending Machines and Water Sprinklers for the walk around to the stores, they had nice AC units in all the stores so that was nice too🤗🧊... We went to the Food Court buuuuut I wish it was as nice as the other Stores🤔... its Outdated 🏚🙁🙁 and not too good of food it's like old school bowling alley food only way to describe it lol 🥣 but the Employees were nice and Professional so they deserve to serve Amazing food especially for the prices of all the other stores, the food court should be updated 🙌💯 Other than that no complaints it was a nice trip and nice views but bring extra money it's pricey but they also have clearance racks, they are just as good👌😎 Highly Recommend but bring your own snacks if your craving healthy until they update the food of course 🤞🤞😁🛍🙌

I did not find anything because it too crowded and they hang around in the middle of walk way and dont want to move if you say excuse me.

**Restaurant currently not serving food. Drinks only until early 2023**
I can't rate the food yet as they are renovating and only offered drinks.
The atmosphere is as eclectic and busy as I hoped it would be. Signatures and writing on the front door as you come in, pasted dollar bills on the wall, patches, pictures and more. Make sure you sign the guest book!
Something to see everywhere you look. The ladies that own and operate the cafe are sweet and fun to talk to. We had a great conversation for almost an hour.
This was at the beginning of Nov 2022. They said renovations would take several months so, don't expect a meal until the first part of 2023 or at least call ahead to see. But, go for the fun of it, take pictures and chat.
There are busloads of tourists that come by several times a day so it will be either really busy or empty, depending on your timing. Definitely worth the stop. We'll be back soon to see what they've done with the place.

Unfortunately the only reason why I gave this place 1 star is just because the old lady that owns the place was very nice. This place is supposed to be a "movie attraction", however it's very rough around the edges and clearly not maintained. Also was recently vandalized. It's sad that it will most likely fall victim to the same fate as many Route 66 attractions have succumbed to. It would be great if someone could step up and save this location.

Seems like an historical café the middle of nowhere. They change their name because of a movie that the café was in definitely worth a visit. I wouldn’t come here for the food because they stop serving food but they are serving drinks. There’s an old woman that works over here she’s been here for 27 years, her husband brought her out here and her son. Her son is a famous actor in Hollywood. Unfortunately her son passed away years ago and Shirley after her husband passed away. Where are you? Nina’s Cafe woman seems pretty happy she sells shirts cool T-shirts $20 a T-shirt actually I don’t know how much she sells a T-shirt for since I didn’t buy one. She has drinks available so will come here for a drink. It’s in a very beautiful location. We shot a Jonas brothers video here. They’re playing in Vegas tonight. Come here make it a day trip. I was here over the summer in 2022, and they were not serving food OR drinks (or at least, it did not look like any drinks were available).
I did have to come back twice - the first time, there were angry-looking dogs inside and someone filling up water jugs outside said that the owner was in LA for her birthday.
Assuming that she would be back in a week (and the scary dogs would be gone), I came back, and sure enough -- success!
It's such a kitschy roadside attraction, but there's SO much to look at inside and chatting with the employee was super cool. Definitely worth a drive (or two) to check it out, but agree with the other reviewers -- it didn't look like they would be offering food or drink at any point in the near future.

This cafe is located on Route 66, which runs from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, where the movie was filmed. The lonely cafe has become quiet and far removed from the scenes in the movie, but even now there are fewer people visiting it, but it seems that it is still there. A lot more time has passed than the impression in the movie, so if you don't know about it, it will be a deserted cafe that you won't stop by. If you are driving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, please stop by. You can enjoy delicious coffee just like in the movies. Something very unfortunate happened. The manager was probably too old, but even though I had received a $5 cup of coffee and paid $20 with a tip, she asked me to pay again. I was disappointed, but I handed over the $20 again, and it never happened again. Be careful not to spoil the good memories.

Just magical and the owner is absolutely charming. You are also offered a refreshment as soon as you enter. Everything is in its juice, the sign and the ionic caravan are still there. To top it off, the film Bagdad Café was on television when we passed by. Unforgettable, I won't spoil the inside for you.

If you came along the route 66 then you have to stop at this famous cafe (out of Rosenheim). It's so wired inside and there are a lot of small details to see and explore.

A good restaurant off the beaten path. Good buffalo burgers,my friends all loved them. Nice people working there. Can't argue with the prices thats for sure. All the bikers I know that have stopped here for lunch,or dinner all say they where satisfied with the food and drinks. I don't have any problem recommending this place to anyone looking for a good place to eat and enjoy themselves with friends.

While driving to the Grand Canyon, I turned onto US-66, which runs parallel to I-40, and found it along the road. It's a cafe and souvenir shop, but it still has the atmosphere of the movie. I didn't eat there, but I was able to tour the inside of the restaurant. I'm glad I went.
There is a ``Route 66 road sign'' about 3 km to the east, so I think it would be a good idea to visit it at the same time.

The thermometer was easily accessible from the freeway. Took some awesome pictures. There is a cool Alien spaceship (Alien Fresh Jerky) across from here which is so cool. Kids would love this place.
Arathi Nagarajan — Google review
It sure is tall and the area sure is hot. The thermometer is just off the highway, so it is very easy to get to.
Park across the street, so you can actually get a good picture of it. There is a small gift shop at the site.

It is what it is: A tall thermometer - and a gift shop.
It's 134 feet tall, because 134 degrees Fahrenheit was the highest temperature measured when they built it.
Don't expect more than what is on the picture. It's nice for a 5-10 minute break, but not more.

People say this is in the middle of nowhere. Who cares, there are good restaurants around, Del Taco, Jack in the Box, The Mad Greek Cafe, all the food you need. It's not dirty. People say there is trash around, seems fine to me. Yeah gas is $4.99 but at least there is gas.

One of a kind experience, truly the worlds tallest thermometer (but it is digital!) Small gift shop and tables, check it out but not much there

We had to stop at the EV charging station that is at the back of the shop. Pretty windy but nice clear view of the thermometer for pictures. The shop cashier was very nice and helpful, merchandise prices are reasonable.

Whether I pass through day or night, it's always a pleasure to see that thermometer. Finally got the chance to stop in today and read up on a little bit of its history. Definitely worth the stop.
Purchased three postcards and they were glad to mail them for me, they even covered the postage!

It’s tall! It has an interesting story too. They guy running the gift shop is really nice and fun to talk with. They have a penny smashing machine with some neat designs.

I heard about the World's Tallest Thermometer on a show. Never thought I would see it in person. I was visiting Vegas and heard about Alien Jerky. So I took the 90-minute drive to Baker, California, and behold the World's Tallest Thermometer!
Being out in the dessert in September was still relatively hot. The temperature was sitting at 98 degrees Fahrenheit. When you're minutes away from Death Valley, it does get hot.
The gift shop was nice to browse around and, of course, had to get a souvenir proving that I've seen the tallest thermometer. The staff was super friendly and answered questions about the place.
If you're driving through Baker, I recommend stopping by, taking a photo, and picking up a souvenir.

Was indeed quite tall, cute gift shop. Only attraction this way besides the Zzxyz Rd sign but it was fun. I put it on my list for two truths and a lie. The gift shop was quaint but cute.
Emma Reid — Google review
The world's largest thermometer is a bit run down, but it's a cool and unique attraction to visit. In addition to the thermometer, there are also other fun things to do on site, like using the penny smashing machine and using the bathroom. Overall, it's a fun and memorable place to check out.
Alex Schubert — Google review
The World's Tallest Thermometer is a steel electric sign in the city of Baker that is 134 feet tall to commemorate the hottest day in the Death Valley, occurred in 1913 at exactly 134 Fahrenheit degrees. It was built in 1991 by the Young Electric Sign Company for Willis Herron, a local businessman. After falling into disuse due to high electric bills, it was reacquired by Herron's family and made it operational again in 2014. Around the base there's now a diner and a gift shop.

Interesting place. I stopped there to charge my electric car at the behind store area. Then I enter to check what have inside. I had a good/nice conversation with the person inside the store, very polite and friendly. Then I went outside to take some thermometer pictures. It is really really tall. Funny and strange.

Cool pace to visit, lots of 4 star reviews on here but what can you expect? It is what I’d expect from a place and shirts at $20, that’s much cheaper than nearby in Primm or Vegas. The guy working was really nice and fun to talk to also! Neat little visit!

It was an alright visit, nothing to exciting about it. Just like that we were able to visit a little piece of history (more then half my life this place was closed/off.) glad I finally got to really explore it.
the flat penny machine cost a dollar. T-shirts range from about $20. Cute little cute stuffed animal of a bird with sunglasses think it was about $15.(might be wrong) Magnets are like 5$. I personally, really like the wall of money from around the world a collector myself. Clean store, clean bathrooms, respectful Clerk.
I think it’s a good place for a picnic lunch on a not so hot day.
Great place! Lots of fun, photo ops, memorabilia and YES the Jerky is the Bomb!!! So much to see, you'll definitely have a wonderful and super friendly experience! More jerky flavors and hot sauces than I thought possible!

This is a great place to stop and shop around. Convenient location off Hwy 5. They have remodeled the store after our last visit few years back. They did a beautiful job on the remodel and expanded the interior for more product displays. If you like jerky they have a large variety. Snacks candies and souvenirs are plentiful. The alien characters are fun. The aliens in the car of the future greet you at the entrance. There is also a flying saucer. Customer service is great. Minimal wait and fast checkout.

Great store for your road snacks and drinks, and of course, all sorts of flavors and types of jerky. All kinds of alien souvenirs and items here. Lot's of picture opportunities.

Awesome place found in the Fricken middle of nowhere! The jerky is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Moist and tender and comes in a sh.. ton of flavors. The store is laid out nicely and the selection of hot sauces never ends! Plus they have cool names. Definitely a must see while traveling to or from Las Vegas in Baker California. The hotel is under construction and from what we all could see it is going to be a must stay place when opened.

Cool novelty jerky shop, they have fun stuff and jerky have promo section 2 for $20, some hot sauces, stuff toys, candies etc you name it and I was surprise on cash wrap they also have gemstones. The place gets busy and no associate on the floor, would be helpful if they do have at least one since there are kids playing with some toys and balls. They also have bathrooms… nice stop heading to Vegas!

The store was small, they have several jerky flavors. This store also carries several souvenirs. Towels, pens, stickers, mugs, rugs, and more. Their hot sauces are very delicious. Friendly staff. I totally recommend to go in the morning. Less crowded. This place will have a hotel, the hotel is under construction.

Pretty Cool store. This is the 1st time I came inside the store. Every time I stop here they are closed but I finally made it. Wide selection of Jerky . Love the Alien theme inside. Nice T Shirt designs. I bought some choco rocks and pistacios. Taste good. This is a great store to visit when you stop in Baker.

This place is too weird!! I kept looking to find some Roswell alien jerky -- but none was located. I found many other bizarre flavors though. Why does this place even exist? A true pantheon of UFO alien 👽 hype! Weird California indeed.
Jazz Rock Fusion & Synthesizer Music — Google review
Very eclectic. It’s a real fun place but everything is pretty pricey. I love the alien theme and they are building what looks to be a mothership behind the shop. Something to see anyway. But, my family spent $110 on a bag of pretty much nothing - candy, jerky, beads, pickled eggs, quirky drinks. The jerky was not amazing. In the future I will curb my kids from picking things.
Timothy Beck — Google review
I really admire what the alien jerky people have created. The super cool concept adds color and interest to an otherwise mundane drive back from Las Vegas. Unfortunately the jerky was really awful. Bought 2 packs of original and 2 packs of spicy. Both were as flavorless as a dry napkin. Very saddened to say that. The jerky was incredibly expensive to add to the disappointment. Overall I would rate the jerky 1 star but compelled to add 1 more star because I felt bad

This place has improved incredibly. I'd been going to this store for the last past 15 years when it used to be a small shop selling only beef jerky. Now it is a whole new level with cool, cute selections of merchandise. Also, they will have a hotel?! Impressive (so happy for them that they had prospered). In fact, Baker deserves to be acknowledged and improve as well but we will see in time. Overall, you will love this place is great for the entire family. 💚🛸 👽

We rarely go to Vegas but when we do - this is a must stop. I was ecstatic to see the mother ship’s construction is well on its way, as well, it’s supporting logistical buildings. In all seriousness, the future alien hotel/attraction/whatever it ends up being is well on its way to completion!
Inside, it has been remodeled; a few additional products added. Always entertaining!
The staff are always available to help and appreciate it’s always staffed well.
Lastly, probably most importantly, they have tasty jerky!

It's a fun stop and worth a quick detour on a road trip. Very quirky and eccentric place, definitely one of a kind. That said, pricing is a little ridiculous so be careful. Sodas are $5 apparently, didn't see the prices advertised for them so feels a little deceptive. Obviously they have to cover the costs of the extensive decor, but they should be more transparent.

Okay we were on the way back from Las Vegas and we decided to stop here in Baker and check on the progress of the UFO hotel and get some jerky at alien fresh jerky! The alien Frisk Jerky store is pretty awesome with lots of alien stuff in it! And the UFO hotel is under construction and should be open sometime next year! :-) I have posted some pictures of both the alien fresh Jerky Store and the UFO Hotel under construction! :-)

From unusual jerky flavors to alien themed goodies, it's a unique pit stop for anyone looking to add a bit of whimsy to their journey. If you enjoy surprises and unconventional snacks, Alien Fresh Jerky is worth a visit.

One of the better novelty stores I’ve seen…anywhere.
It’s full of fun trinkets and amusements. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a “greetings earthling” warm welcome.
The outside veneer is quite detailed. The inside is just a store, but full of neon lights, and lots of aliens.
It was a fun stop. They have much more than jerky to sell, tons of snacks and alien fan wear.
If you have to stop for jerky, this is the place to go.
Unfortunately, I didn’t try the jerky, but it appeared as good as jerky does anywhere. An incredible number of flavors to choose from.

I love when we travel through here. We always stop on our way to where we're going. There are so many amazing jerky and hot sauces to choose from. I was so excited that a store where I live started stocking some of the jerky, but it still doesn't compare to stopping at this place.

Kelso Dunes is a vast expanse of sandy hills covering 45 square miles within the Mojave National Preserve. The dunes are surrounded by scrub brush, Joshua trees, and striking red-black cinder cones. Accessing the dunes requires driving on a three-mile gravel road to reach the trailhead, where there are two restrooms and limited cell reception. The straightforward three-mile out-and-back hike is entirely on sand, which will inevitably fill your shoes.
To get to the kelso dunes you drive through Mojave a bit then have to drive on a well maintained dirt road all the way to the dunes. I know it looks cool and fun in the pictures, but the hike to the dunes is no joke. Would not recommend going during the summer. It probably takes 20-30 minutes to get to the skirts of the dune. And is probably a 2 hour hike to the top of it. This hike is no joke. The dunes are very steep and is extremely tiring just to make 10 yards of progress. The reward and views at the end are absolutely worth it though. Jumping or rolling down a huge sand dune is a part of the reward on the way back.
Kerem Yucebas — Google review
Biggest dunes I've seen in my life. Well worth the 3 mile dirt access road to get there and then a long hike from the parking area.

Great experience! We went mid-March and the weather was perfect for the hike. We hiked at a comfortable pace and probably took 3 hours round-trip. I would recommend wearing good shoes, a hat or scarf, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sand. Hiking sticks saved us. We saw many people climbing up to the peak on their hands and knees, but it’s definitely doable without hiking sticks.
Faith Ibones — Google review
This place is stunning. Some people say it's just sand, but boy is it beautiful.
The hike to the top is not that easy. The sand is loose and you may slide down. Plus it adds significant resistance to your strides. Not a child friendly nor elderly friendly hike if your kids aren't active. That being said, there were some kids at the top running up and down like nothing, so it's doable for active kids.
I took a board to slide down and it's fun. Warning, don't smile, don't open your mouth, wear at least sunglasses, bring plenty of water for you and your dogs, and an extra change of clothes. Sand will get everywhere.

Wow! Huge soft sand dunes + amazing sunset + bright stars at night! I wish I could go back more often, we had so much fun! (Beware of kangaroo rats when wearing sandals + making food after dark, they make it pretty obvious that you should be sharing 😅 P.S. I did not share)

I hiked to the top of the tallest sand dune out there. I did this hike in the middle of December, so heat wasn't an issue. I came I'll prepared with regards to footwear, so I hiked to the top barefoot. It was strenuous but worth it! Definitely recommend this hike to anyone. You don't have to go to the top to enjoy it. Bring water, because the desert only provides minimal amount of moisture.
James Weedman — Google review
It’s quite a travel to get here. The last 3 miles to get to the trailhead is on gravel. There are 2 restrooms and light cell reception. The trail is a straight forward 3 miles out and back. All on sand. Your shoes will get sand inside. You can hike barefoot
Xplor Fitness — Google review
Amazing place for sunset...I hike quite a bit and this was somewhat challenging - mostly because walking through sand in general is more difficult. It didn't appear there had been too many people out lately and we were the only ones at the top. Bring a flashlight if you stay for sunset to get back to the car.

Pretty amazing dunes that are quite tall, although the overall area they cover is relatively small compared to other places. Be warned the road to them can be in rough shape, especially after the increased rain fall SoCal seems to be getting these days. Passable in 2WD, but just have good tires. Definitely worth the trip if you want some peace and quiet. I love how secluded they are. A lot more peaceful than Glamis.

Did this hike just before xmas. On a sunny cool morning, only one in the area. Had the entire dunes to ourselves for a few hours. Was our first time visiting a sand dune and it was super cool, so much fun running down them. So many cool photo ops on the dunes as well. Id go out of my way to visit this. It was awesome.

Great art to view, had no clue where I was going but enjoyed my lost walk through this place with all the have displayed. Didn’t seem like much shopping options but wondering if it’s a place more to explore randomly. Or just a run down mall made into a art display

Not much in the mall , maybe 6-7 stores still open LEVIS OUTLET has pretty good deal and it is connected to the casino , plenty of truck parking to stretch your legs on your half hour break ,or if you're spending the night casino has buffet ,and a bar with free beer wine and spirits if you're gaming, best truck parking is on the back side of mall/casino/hotel, with security patrol, you may park your truck anywhere on primm property unless it says no truck parking ,in one small area

** Really fun walk if you have time to burn at the supercharger! **
Model example of physical depression. Honestly such a cool space! Walking through was a lot of fun but for very different reasons than the owners would like. This is the legal way to walk through an abandoned building! 😂 the art made it feel doubly so. I counted 7 stores “open”. In quotation because none of them were actually open and a few looked like they haven’t been open in a while. This place is just begging to be a ‘con of some kind. Comic-Con, anime-con I don’t know but something! It would be a great layout and no stores to get in the way. I plan on watching to see when the building is closed for good. Too bad.

I dont know how to rate this place, it used to be so full and vibrant and was an amazing stop on the side of the road.. now it is still and empty. Michael kors and a Thrift shop are still open inside of the mall at this time, but that is it. Bathrooms are still functional, and clean.

I really don't know what store to give this place it was a place I used to go to all the time coming or leaving Las Vegas from LV to CA from CA LV it was the stopping point and now it's mostly empty it's really sad a lot of people have lost their jobs hundreds if not thousands. I miss what it used to be. Hope it comes back alive with more shops.

It's pretty inside. It looks like it was great back in the day, but the only thing left open was an over priced thrift store and the casino. Otherwise, the whole thing is desolate. It's nice to just walk to stretch your legs from driving if you are traveling through, though.

It's a dead mall. Quite literally. It's eerie walking in there. The music that's playing, as you walk in, echoes because it's so empty.
And the outside looks completely sun baked and not maintained. There's only ONE entrance you can go into.
When you walk in, you almost feel like you're in an apocalyptic movie. Not a single store is open when walking in.
The fountains that once were operational are now dismantled and in pieces.
Thankfully, the store I needed was off to the left in the main corridor.
If I had to guess, there's maybe 4 or 5 stores left open in this enormously empty place.
Why are they keeping this Mall open?
I wish I knew.

This mall is very empty since covid affected its business. I thought it was cool walking through the mall as it gives off a vibe of being in a deserted city. There are maybe 5 or more retail shops here? I didn't count them. I enjoyed taking photos of this place.

As a mall, this place gets a zero star as it has only two stores left, a Michael Kors and a soap store. This was one of our favorite malls 20+ years ago, so it was kind of sad seeing it in its current condition. I imagine the two remaining stores will be gone when their current leases expire or maybe even sooner. Like others have mentioned, it was cool to walk around this nearly abandoned, but clean, mall. The arts that replaced the closed stores were very interesting. There are no place to eat inside, though there are a few fast food placin the parking lot. As of the Labor day weekend, you still can access the mall from Primm Valley casino, but the escalators were shut down. You can access the mall with a short flight of stairs from the casino. If you want to check out the arts before the mall shuts down permanently, then you will need to visit it soon.

Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino is a laid-back accommodation option that provides complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. The resort features various dining choices, an outdoor pool, and a casino for entertainment. Guests have praised the friendly staff and newly renovated rooms, which offer good value compared to those on the Vegas strip. While some amenities may be lacking in certain rooms, overall cleanliness and comfort are highlighted as positives by visitors. Additionally, the surrounding area offers convenience with nearby fast food options and a gas station.
From the time we walked in the front doors the staff was friendly and inviting. They were very nice, accommodating, and checked to make sure everything was going well. Overall, the staff provided such a positively enjoyable experience. I needed some minor first aid (a blister on my foot) and the overnight security personnel assisted and truly cared. We look forward to returning because of the exceptional customer service the staff provided.
The room location was nice, we had a lovely view of the pool and the beautiful courtyard. This location is pet friendly and the courtyard is a nice place to let a dog walk around and play, on a leash. The pool is shaped like a Buffalo which is a fun feature. The rooms are affordable. We did have a minor issue with the room. However, the staff was quick to assist. It is clear to me they are working hard to improve the quality of stay and the hotel. We did have a lot of fun during our stay.

When I was a kid I spent many awesome weekends out at state line with my family. I was really hoping my kids would be able to experience and appreciate this place like I did. But after being here for the the first time in about 5 years I was sad to see what has become of what used to be such a fun place. The casino was practically empty... And it was quiet, too quiet for a casino.
The roller coaster is not running.😭 The woman at the hotel check-in desk told us the owner intends to tear down the roller coaster. That itself kind of ruined the trip for me. And then to see the log ride bone dry... Definitely not the weekend getaway I envisioned.
The whole feel of buffalo bills is nothing like it used to be..... I really would like to see buffalo bills and the other casinos at state line rebound from the pandemic and come back with a vengeance instead of burning out like this...

I didn't enjoy the casino because of the atmosphere. It was very dark. I know casinos usually have a theme. So for this theme it was as if it was night time only indoors. So the ceiling was black. There were trees inside and a train and a bridge were water used to run. It was empty. Really just a lot of clutter of things that would be outside. Even at Denny's, which is inside the casino, was very dark with minimal lighting. It made me feel depressed. I couldn't imagine working there for 8 hours in darkness. Personally, I love light and happiness. I was happy to see people there. It did bring joy to the place with some people there. Otherwise, I feel like it would be lonely without people.

The room was nice. Housekeeping is not equipped. We checked in, and there were no towels. No one to bring them. There was no fridge in the room. Don't expect in room coffee. The next day I asked for towels. The maids did not have bath towels on their carts. The casino properties have not been as fun as before covid-19. It's a shell of what it used to be. Not much staff either.

We stopped at the Chevron in Primm and found the Pit Stop Pizza. We decided to order a pizza and the server, Alicia Davis, was incredibly nice and kind. She explained how the pizza would be prepared. We watched her prepare the pizza and she put so many toppings on the pizza, we were super excited and shocked. When the pizza came out, Alicia made sure it was all the way cooked and even put it back in for a bit to make sure the crust and cheese was fully cooked. She was amazing and great. The pizza was very delicious and we were very pleased.

I can't believe how run down this hotel has gotten over the years. Doesn't look like they maintenance it definitely does not look like they clean it.
Our room had hair, dirt and mold in bathroom and room.
Unfortunately I have stayed at better motel 6 for way less in a small town. Much much clearer.
Try to use the phone to call room service and the front desk the room phone would not work.
Unfortunately we sat at the bar to play and waited about a half hour before we received our first drink. Bartenders were horrible horrific would not even look at you, unless you weren't playing and we're going to pay cash.
Went to one section on the floor barely can get a drink.
Went to another side and the waitress was awesome she was on top of it.
The only thing that made our trip was the music, the one tall waitress and the steakhouse.

Definitely a nice place to stay or at least for how affordable the rooms are. The rooms in the A Tower are remodeled and nicer than in the B Tower but if you're traveling with a pet, you'll be limited to the later. My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and have always found the beds to be comfortable but the bed covers to be very basic. Not that big of a deal but something worth noting. The casino itself is fun to be in with great atmosphere and it is nice that there are a few restaurants inside including a Denny's. On our most recent visit, we came with a bunch of friends and I was happy to see the hostess be so willing to make it so that all our rooms were close together. Good service isn't always what I expect to find at a hotel like this so I thought it would be worth mentioning.

It got us when we read many upgrades. Haven't seen them yet. The restroom in our room has an air vent that's not even working. Brought a 4yr old and we told him there was a pool here. The surprise was on us when the front desk told us its not open. I kept telling my wife about the great buffet here. Our other surprise was that the buffet only opens on Saturday. and this is just the things I've seen as we checked in a few minutes ago.

We stayed overnight on 4/7/23-4/07/23. We had an issue with rooms. Not a problem. Talked to the director of cage operations Donald Davis in the morning upon checkout. He was wonderful! Excellent customer service, very polite and helpful. Took great care and solved our issue right away! Thank you Donald for your exceptional customer service!

The hotel room was renovated and was very clean. Registration staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff weren't too friendly, and the bar area could have been kept up better. The arena was a great venue inside the hotel. The stage bar was a great pre and post concert addition. Bar staff at the stage bar were quick and friendly. Overall, a good hotel for a concert night.

We ordered a band c burger and salmon. Delicious! Our server was Crystal. She was AMAZING! Luckily we came early before the crowd so we "met " her and her family. What a blessing! She is amazing! Until the next time, Ms. Crystal.

This place is DISGUSTING!!!!! DO not stay here!! We walk in and it smells like pee and there are towels and sheets on the floor when you walk in the door, which by the way was wide open! As you walk through the maze to find your room, it’s about 111 degrees and the floor has dishes, garbage and towels on the floor. I was in absolute shock that this place is so dirty. There’s grime on literally everything, it hasn’t been properly cleaned since it was built and the location is in the middle nowhere. I feel like I need a shower just being in this building. None of the amusement rides work either. You’d be better off staying in a motel six in the hood. There’s freakin blood all over the place too. What in the murderous hell is going on here?
UPDATE: we called and complained about the pubes stuck to everything, and grime and mess everywhere so they offer to move us to a better room and it's worse!! It smells like weed and cigarettes and is even grimier. Just don’t stay here. If you decide to risk it, bring a plastic bag to sleep in and don’t take your shoes off. Make sure your shots are up to date too. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya, good luck kids.
0/10 recommend this hell hole.
NEW UPDATE: The new murder dungeon also comes with live crickets! You cant even make this up. Also, there’s a moldy Nutter butter cookie under the bed.
Still 0/10 recommend.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. From the looks of it the room wasn't cleaned. The bathroom definitely wasn't cleaned. There was hair in the shower, in the sink, on the floor. Trash in the room and hair in the bed. We asked for cleaning service, which they said they would, but upon returning after dinner nothing had changed. Unfortunately rooms everywhere were booked and it was late so we had no choice but to stay. It was so gross I wore shoes in the shower. Don't stay here!!!

It's about an hour drive from the LV strip. Like the decor, but it was very dusty, needs a cleaning for sure, including some of the slots. Was a small, quiet casino, wish the rides were operational. We went during the day time. A lot of the waitress seemed like they didn't want to get drinks. They were just walking around quietly with their trays and books. I did not stay at this hotel. I just came for the slots and hoped for the rides.

We reserved a room this weekend, asking for a remodeled room since there were a good amount of remodeled rooms available. When we headed inside the room, the pictures provided below is the room we received. To begin, the head rest was falling off and was not attached to where it should have been. Second, when we opened the mini fridge door there was dust and trash. These are just a few of the things we are sharing but if you look into the provided pictures you will notice that this room is clearly not remodeled or even getting the proper cleaning done. When we asked for another room we were told that there were none available and offered an inspection of the room at a later time. Luckily we killed some time in Las Vegas and did receive a phone call where they apologized for the inconvenience and that there was another room available. I don’t usually like to make negative reviews but I believe it is something that they should work on and I thank them for getting back to us about another room.

I recently stayed Friday and Saturday night for a concert in the Arena. Great show and easy to get to. When I checked in to my room the TV didn’t work. It was playing great music through it though. I called the desk and finally at 10:30 a service guy showed. He couldn’t fix it and screwed it up so the good music wouldn’t even play. Said he’d be back early in the morning, never showed again. Went to the buffet one night and that was the worst buffet I have ever eaten at in my life for $40 plus dollars

Great place! Always a go to and stop on the way to Las Vegas. It’s gone under a remodeling phase and the prices have increased and they are fully booked. Must book ahead.

I was on a solo cross-country trip and stayed here because of its proximity to the desert.
The rooms are fine and everything worked in my room. I had a king bed non-smoking.
I was surprised that the casino was not very smoky. Perhaps that was because it was a Sunday and the crowds were very thin.
I ate at the Denny's on the casino floor. It was fine.

We stayed at Buffalo Bills for 2 days 7/28-7/30, stay wasn’t bad, our room had a noisy AC unit that once we reported it the maintenance guy came to replace it with a new unit! As for the room, bed is nice but walls were dirty seems like some threw soda on the wall and hasn’t been cleaned up the bathroom is a bit outdated. Rooms could sure use a makeover. For dinner on our second night we had they BBQ buffet that advertised, not good at all!! Ribs, mash potatoes and chicken all had no flavor, seemed like the extra BBQ sauce in top was to hide the lack of flavor. The tri-tip was, but according to their menu items there was supposed to be beef brisket and corn bread served, when I asked about those items I was told they weren’t part of the menu. This hotel needs better food options inside as Denny’s is the only good food there. The beers(tall cans) at the little store they have inside are $7! not bad since at the gas station it’s $5. Over all I would stay here again but hopefully my next experience will be better and the hotel will have cleaner rooms

"Family attractions hotel and casino turned into slum landlord". Imagine coming here as a kid 25 years ago, thinking this was the best place in the world as a kid, decided to do that same thing with my kids 25 years later not knowing every damn family attraction is closed. There’s a couple arcade games open at best over 60% of the restaurants and other amenities are closed at any given day, go to the front office to pick up the room keys, she said the owner plans to demolish the roller coaster and log ride for more rooms and a golf course who in there right mind is gonna play golf in 100 degrees plus weather, as someone who has 50,000 followers on social media blogger I can promise you this since I showed my video to my followers and seeing my kids reaction on what this place has become since after Covid, my followers they said get back to what it was a family attraction or close up for good. Because Vegas and California residents agree they wont be steping foot in this casino until something drastic is done with this place.
If you’re looking for a place to sleep, if you can’t make it to Vegas, I recommend sleeping in your car instead for the night.

Half the price of hotels on the Vegas strip. The staff was kind and helpful. The room I am in does not have a fridge nor microwave, and the electrical plugs are pushed far into the wall… they don’t hold up well when trying to charge any of my personal devices. I stayed here for a total of 11 or so days while waiting for my new place. The fast food and gas station prices nearby are very high. It isn’t crowded, there’s a pool, a fitness center with clean water to drink. The outside area with the pool has seating and is fenced in so my dog had room to roam. The mattresses did not have fitted sheets, just a couple layers of sheets. The shower wasn’t as clean as I’d like (hair on the floor) but it was an okay stay for my situation.

This stay was not great (we stayed two weeks prior and it was great) Our rooms had no bath towels. We asked for towels and they never came. We had to use hand towels to dry off after our showers. It worked but not ideal. Room needed a good cleaning but the beds and bathroom were clean. Our rooms were comped and they also comped our resort fee since we had issues with towels. Wagon Wheel grill was good. Customer service was great. We will be back!

Stopped in here real quick and donated to help them keep the lights on. It’s kinda run down but well decorated, with a western/mining theme and has some neat features. I thought the Bonnie & Clyde memorabilia was interesting! Plenty of open machines to throw your money into as well. We grabbed a drink from a bar tender who was busy drinking his own beer and couldn’t have cared less we were there or to help out.

Stayed here for the Mint 400 2024, the great American off road race. Super convenient location for the mint, 15 minute walk to the race course and midway. The table games were fun, dealers were great. Coffee shop made good dark coffee. After being close during Covid, Buffalo Bills is def making a comeback.

The bed was comfortable which is why 2 stars. It's seen it's better days. The ol girl is on hospice. Dining locations closed, staff apologetic from time we checked in. Attractions from days gone by dry like the fake river running through the casino. If it's here the next time- and we will be sure not to stop- that will surprise me.

We booked to stay here on our long drive from Idaho to southern CA. It took quite sometime to receive help to check in, no one was up front for sometime. We have a pet with us, putting us in a pet friendly room. The room was FILTHY. The bedding still had previous hair on it, the floors were not cleaned, the sides of the bed have mud- dirt lined up them. The dresser was broke in numerous places as well as the night stand, and did not look wiped down, the curtains have a burn whole in them, the walls have scuffs and water damage to them. Now… I completely understand that we are in a “pet friendly” room, but there has to be a standard… we just came from the prospector hotel in Ely Nevada and stayed in their pet friendly rooms and they were so nice… even offered a dog bed for our dog- and the room looked extra clean because of prior pets staying there. We would GLADLY pay extra for a room that is clean and put together. Even double what we payed to stay originally. We did go down to show pictures so we would not be penalized, the lady who helped us was very nice but again the manager was not to be found… or get a refund and go else where, but no manager around to assist. The front desk lady (again very nice) explained we couldn’t be put into a normal room because we have a pet- and that’s understandable but if all the pet rooms have the standard like ours that’s a bit unacceptable. She also explained the rooms look like this because of animals ruining them. Which makes sense on why they do… but charge the owner, fix the damaged property, and clean the room properly. Do not have other guest staying them just because they have a pet. For owners like us who have a very well behaved animal and crate the animal because we respect the room, shouldn’t have to stay in a dirty broken room because others didn’t take care of it.

Reading some of the reviews honestly got us concerned and just hoping for the best. Luckily for us, everything actually worked out. Basically, the overall experience will strongly depend on the type of room you manage to get, the time of day you check in, and the amenities you were expecting. We just needed a place to stay overnight so we would be very happy as long as the rooms were clean and updated, so we were extremely elated to get one of the newly renovated rooms. With seemingly only one receptionist working late at night, we got very fortunate that we just beat the rush of 15-20 people waiting to check-in right after us. Finally, we did not gamble at the casino, shop at any stores, or eat at their lone restaurant so I couldn't factor any of them for this review. So altogether, for our needs, wants, and expectations, Buffalo Bill's was 4/5 for us, an overall good experience, and were fairly satisfied with our stay.

I love this hotel! I always used to come here as a child and still do. One thing is that the rides aren’t going anymore which is a bummer! but i did get to ride the log ride lounger and it was absolutely fun. A second thing is that our toilet flooded our bathroom and the next time it was clogged. But I absolutely recommend this hotel for families or for people who like to gamble. 😊

The pizza spot is PHENOMENAL and also the Steakhouse, staff is wonderful there including Chris the manager and Thomas!!! I just wish the pizza place were open more days in casino. Kinda get tired of eating same thing everyday.
Historic saloon turned Hollywood set offering brews, cocktails & American bites with a Texas twist.
Let’s be honest, most of you are here because of Fallout or urbex. For either reason, you came to the right to place. The saloon is great! The staff is friendly, and food is good. Inside there are photos and newspapers framed and hung on the walls, quite an interesting read if you’ve got the time. Within walking distance of the saloon there’s a few completely abandoned buildings, great place to take some photos. If you collect bottle caps check outside the saloon, you’re sure to find at least a few good ones on the ground. I didn’t buy anything from the general store so I can’t speak much on that, but what was being sold looked quite cool.

Even better than I had hoped for!
I read about this place in the newspaper (a few months ago) and have wanted to come see it in person ever since. So glad I did!
First of all, it's definitely got that "old western saloon" vibe going, so I knew it was going to be fun as soon as I saw the entrance. We came on a Saturday and there was a live band playing on the patio and quite a good crowd for a hot afternoon.
The server brought us water for our dog and was quick with our drinks. The food was excellent. It IS all served in "to-go" containers, but that didn't bother anyone. We tried a cheeseburger, a patty-melt and a "Handyman" (burger with pastrami and sauerkraut on rye). No french fries, just chips.
Only negative was the flies. Since we've been having so much rain recently they have really been hatching out and it was more than their pest-control system could manage.

I freaking love this place! Everybody was awesome, the food is out of this world, I highly recommend the "Old Man Liver Burger", ---- liver involved, just the name-- everybody was super friendly and if you want a true out there in the middle of nowhere experience where you don't have to go broke in New Vegas, this is definitely the place! There was live music and alcohol and the old man who runs the joint is a genius, and I highly recommend that you pick up a bottle of his seasoning! Definitely one of my new favorite places to stop. And we weren't even bothered by any raiders or deathclaws!

Haven't been in a while. A few changes since I was there last. (What happened to all the whiskey barrels?) Very popular place. Prepare for a wait. We were told there would be an hour wait for 2 people. It was less than an hour wait. We sat outside (it was a little on the chilly side and heat lamps could have been turned up a few more notches) The band was fun. The food was decent and the service was good for as busy as it was.

This is the oldest bar in Nevada, many movies have been made here, an actor even waited at this spot while rescue searched for his wife's plane because it crashed near by. They have reasonably priced drink, they also serve food and the old time Saloon makes you feel like you've stepped back in time! The whole town feels like a step back in time!

This was a super cool place to check out. We got to hear all the stories. Supposedly, the table I was at somebody was killed at. There are old bullet holes in the walls behind the bar. Man, if this place could talk!!
There's was a live band out back jamming away. And the gift shop had some nice swag to remember the trip.
The bar was even featured digitally in one of the Fallout video games.
The ONLY reason that they did not get five stars is the length of time it took us to get our meal. It was literally an hour and a half for it. Since we weren't in a hurry, no harm, no foul. And I would only deduct a half a star, if Google allowed that.
This comes with a high recommendation to go check it out when you're in the area👍👍

The saloon was fun! We dropped in for lunch and were greeted by a live band playing out back. The historic building is full of character, and the memorabilia in the dining room is worth checking out.
The Old Man Liver(OML) Old Fashioned was excellent, as well as the Ghost Burger. I feel like the service may have been a bit better if we were seated in the bar area, but I would attribute that to them being busy. Overall it was a very positive experience and a sight I wanted to see!

The Pioneer Saloon is a place that we always try to bring our Jeep friends from out of town to and all of them end up loving it as much as my wife and I do. I mean, it's just a half hour south of Vegas and yet, it feels like it's a century or more away. Always a good time here and great food and all kinds of great history. Love the fact that it still has a bullet hole in the wall where someone was killed! On the weekends, there's even live music in the evening and in the warmer months, great outdoor seating. The last time we were here, my wife got the Ghost Burger and it was outstanding. Me, I got the Ruben Burger and I would definitely recommend it as well.

This was a fascinating hip place! Tons of Nevada history mixed with some Clark Gable tragedy, remanence of some Wild Wild West gun slinging shoot outs. We were driving from Las Vegas towards LA and decided to stop at this historic place to get some warm food. Overall, This is a cool place however some things could be improved.
When We arrived, it started raining, so the waitress said that there were no options for warm food because the grill couldn’t be used under the rain. It was definitely a pity, I wish the place could have some back-up options. Only pizza was available and We ordered one, also some coffee.
It took some time before our pizza arrived. However it was worth to wait: the pizza was very fresh and tasty.
One disappointment was the absence of real porcelain and cutlery: everything was of paper or plastic. I understand that it is probably because of lack of water in the desert but the place positions itself as historic attraction so it is very sad to get the food served in modern plastic. Also, the menu was printed on ordinary paper with ordinary font - a great artistic touch would be to style the menus to look historic. Besides, it was hard to understand what is what in the menu - we had to ask the waitress regarding each dish; the menu seemed to be new or different compared to the photos in google.
In genera I loved the exterior and interior of the building - it feels like you travel back in time.
All in all it is indeed a great place, absolutely worth visiting.

Just a great place to stop and check out. This place is a historic area in Nevada and the video game has done great in bringing more people into this spot. The food is great, I had the banana foster French roast. There's plenty of seating and no matter where you sit there will be something to ponder over. It's like stepping back into a time capsule and that is part of its charm. The people here are real characters, kind, helpful, with a bit of an edge. Our server Naesha, what's fantastic. They have plenty of events that are happening here from live music, burlesque shows, and now a fallout-themed festival in November. Do yourself a favor and come by.

Wow, what a find! Invited by my wife's friend, the owner, so totally biased, right? Nah. This place rocks!
Sat outside and listened to live music and ate some great burgers and potato salad... Get that potato salad! I don't eat a lot of red meat, so when I do it usually doesn't taste as great as when I ate more, but I had the Ghost Pepper sauce burger and it was SO GOOD.
And our host topped it all off with their specialty shakes, with a bit of an alcoholic kick.

Great place to stop for a drink, a bit of flood and some conversation. There are some great beers on tap. I had the Ghost Burger which had a very nice kick to it. Followed it up with a side of potato salad which was incredible.
Pioneer Saloon is historic, having been featured on a number of ghost story shows and in the video game Fallout: New Vegas. And while all of that is interesting and certainly is a draw, it's the food and the people that really make this place worthy of visiting.

The Seven Magic Mountains is a desert art installation showcasing seven painted boulder totems that reach up to 35 feet in height, created by Ugo Rondinone. It provides a unique opportunity to witness the magnificent colored rocks, which cannot be fully appreciated through photos alone. The site includes facilities such as portable toilets and food trucks, and the parking lot is large enough to accommodate a considerable number of visitors. While the parking lot is unpaved, parking is relatively easy.
I have lived in Las Vegas for 27yrs and I've never been here. We decided to go see Seven Magic Mountains on my Birthday. Even though it's just massive painted rocks, it's really cool. You feel so small next to these rocks. The weather was pretty warm, I believe it was in the 90's month of October. There is a little stand, where you can buy drinks possibly food I'm not sure. Quite a bit of visitors, but it wasn't bad at all. Everybody was polite, waiting patiently for others to take their photos so that you could take your photos. I guess you can bring your doggies there, as I seen a few. You have to be able to see this from the Freeway as these rocks are massive. Painted bright, an overall fun place to visit. I would go back again, but just when it's cooler.

There are some details and information about the artists and inspiration of the artwork as you enter.

Seven Magic Mountains is a must-see for anyone visiting Las Vegas. The art installation is located just outside of the city, and it is truly unique and awe-inspiring.
The installation consists of seven towering stacks of colorful boulders, each one over 30 feet tall. The boulders are painted in bright shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green, and they create a striking contrast against the desert landscape.
Visitors can walk around and explore the installation from all angles. It is a great place to take photos and admire the artwork.
Seven Magic Mountains is a free art installation, and it is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Here are some additional tips for visiting Seven Magic Mountains:
The best time to visit is early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat.
There is no shade at the installation, so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat.
Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing some walking.
There are no restrooms at the installation, so be sure to go before you go.
Be respectful of the artwork and do not climb on the boulders.
Overall, Seven Magic Mountains is a great place to visit for people of all ages. It is a unique and awe-inspiring art installation that is well worth a visit.

Artist Ugo Rondinone, a world-renowned art star who made a splash in the NYC cityscape with Human Nature in 2013, created this Land Art installation aptly titled Seven Magic Mountains; he talks of the holistic properties in the colors and hopes viewers will notice the beauty of the desert juxtaposed by his totems. This piece of Land Art took five years to complete at the cost of $3.5million (not to worry, this was by private donation not tax dollars). On average the boulders weigh 40,000lbs each, the totems are stacked 3-6 boulders high and stand between 30-35 feet tall. Can you imagine the height?!

It's a nice place for a quick sightseeing trip. It's completely free. All you have to do is follow the rules. Me and my family went there in the evening at dusk. Was not crowded at all. My kids love picking their favorite formation of rocks and taking pictures. They even played where am I by hiding behind the giant structures. It was a fun time!

This place is magical. Granted I came in December and enjoyed the cold over hot. There is access to explore a stretch of desert without being far from civilization. It's open desert and so many areas to take photos. The structures are vibrant colors, and stacked really high, a sight to see. The location is right before you hit Vegas or as you leave, it's approximately 20 minutes to and fro, but freeway access is conveniently located. Driving there is fun, gives the sense your driving in a lonely open desert. There is ample parking although it was packed. There is a vendor selling food, drinks, and has port a potty available. Many many tourists here. Definitely make this a stop when in Vegas, you'll have amazing photos 👋

Beautiful art installation along Las Vegas Blvd.
Free for everyone!
Super crowded but still enjoyable 😉 You have to manage how to take pictures and not having big crowds around you or wait for a window when everyone is leaving. I didn't appreciate that it was a couple with a real snake trying to get $20.00 dollar for pictures. They got upset if you even try to take pictures of the rocks where they place their chairs. They can do their own business but a least let the public to enjoy the view. Plus, I read that the place is copyright for commercial use. So keep that in mind if you are going to use your photography for commercial purposes. Small enjoyable walk for picture of the beautiful mountains and plants.
No restrooms available
A little food stand with water and snacks.
Parking lot is available off asfalt. Family friendly. The kids will enjoy the colorful pieces of art.

As of Nov 2023 this art installation is thankfully still here! This is a cool and FREE Vegas attraction that is fun to visit and take pictures at. There is parking in a small lot off on a dirt road but it does get packed fast!
Pet-Friendly?- Yes 👍🐶 obviously make sure it's not scorching hot when you take your pups out there and know if they're a low rider like mine, they will be getting quite dusty lol.

Super cool art installation in the middle of the desert.
Definitely reminds me of a Stonehenge type of destination. Its about 45 min or so from Vegas but we'll wish the trip. Grab a camera and enjoy the open space off strip.

A neat experience to witness the most amazing colorful big rocks. Pictures don't really do this place justice. Seeing it in person is a much better experience. There is a porta-potty here. There is also a food truck as well. Parking lot is pretty big. Expect a good amount of people visiting. Parking is easy but the parking lot is not paved. Overall, a great experience to witness outside art.

Definitely worth the short trip
It's about 15 minutes south of the strip.
I arrived around noon on a Sunday, and it was packed. So if you want pics with little to no people, I'd maybe try to get there early.
There was a food truck there when I visited. Not sure if it's there all the time. There are also a few spots not far from it. A truck stop with white castle and other options as well as a place called Pioneer Saloon just a few more minutes away.
The boulders are pretty cool to see in person. I'm glad I took the trip

Cute and different..definitely photo worthy! It’s just a walk up “structure” on the side of the road, but it was pretty packed when we were there. We were on a tour so only spent about 15 minutes there. This is a good amount of time for pics and to not get baked in the heat!

While there are many thousands of reviews of this place already… if you’re looking to check this place out, it’s just fine for a short visit. Other than it being an art project, it’s good to see just about 1 time. It was fun for the drive out and about a good 10 minutes. Beyond that, it’s just a good see it 1 time and that’s good enough. It’s a quick attraction to do while you’re in Las Vegas.

A non-trivial spectacle, an installation of colored stones, outrageously simple but original, I definitely liked it 🗿
If you're passing by, make sure to stop by, it doesn't take long, the entrance is free and there aren't that many people. As I found out, this sculpture was created in 2016 by the world famous Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, so it's a good option to walk around, learn something new and take great photos🤳
KSV — Google review
This is easily one of the coolest places in the Vegas area, and it's completely free. If you're a photographer and want a really unique backdrop, this is perfect for that. Since it's just outside the city, it tends to be pretty quiet out here. And yet it's also very easily accessible, right off the highway and actually on Las Vegas Blvd. So if you're on the Strip and just drive south for half an hour, you'll end up here.

It’s good place, this place will look very beautiful in the sunset.
The funny part is people have started doing there small magic mountains lol 😂
No tickets are needed.
This place is the same we visited 3 years back, I haven’t seen any major development happened here. There are no restaurants or restrooms which is very rare in places like this.
Parking is still same, no lines for parking.
TripIt Now or Never — Google review
If you're staying on the Strip check out the Seven Magic Mountains nearby. It's just a quick 30-minute drive, super easy to get to. The colors are amazing against the desert backdrop, totally worth checking out and it’s free to entrance!

This was an awesome thing to see. We honestly stumbled upon it by complete accident, but I'm so glad we did. I've seen pictures of it, but it's really something that should be seen in person to fully appreciate it. You can walk right up to them, touch them, and get a really close-up look. It was definitely a highlight on this days adventures.

My favorite things about this place is its FREE!! If you’re looking to get out of Vegas, see the landscape and some art, this is a brilliant spot to do it. It’s so stunning and looks a little different depending on the time of day. I would recommend getting out there at sunrise or sunset for best lighting if you’re looking to take photos. We went In the middle of the day and it’s bright. Keep that in mind✨

Must visit attraction near Las Vegas. Been to Vegas over dozens of times but never took the time to visit this place. Quite unique and amazing to view in person rather than in pictures and videos. Since this is a free attraction, expect to see nonstop visitors. So capturing this in photos or videos will include people in it. These are man-made, basically painted colorful rocks on top of each creating seven separate stacks of rocks.
Tammie Nguyen — Google review
Its just stacked rocks in the middle of nowhere. Too crowded to get a decent photo without someone else being in your photo. I would not recommend wasting your time. View of the valley was good though.

Worth the visiting if wanting to escape Las Vegas for a couple of hours. The drive is approximately 25mins and the visit to Seven Magic Mountains lasts about 10mins. It’s a quick photo opp at most. Not the most exciting thing to do but it’s a small escape from the hustle of the Strip.
Niki Vasiliadis — Google review
Great place to take a picture with colorful stack of stones and its free. Sure it can get very crowded but people come and go. It gets very hot on summer wish they pave the path .
Shash Khan — Google review
Very straightforward, it's free, you come and see them, take amazing pictures, and maybe have ice cream at the truck in the parking lot. They're huge and just very vivid in color which combined with Nevada's vivid sky makes a surprisingly beautiful place to see. Very fun quick stop on your way to L.A./Vegas
Xochilt G.S. — Google review
This is definitely a tourist stop. The parking was Greta and lots of space. There is one gate to get in and a short walk over to the stones from the parking lot. Family friendly. Lots of space to move around. Tons of pictures taken by everyone who visited. I enjoyed my time and the art of the stones. I sleep enjoyed the walk in the desert and all the views that surround the stones. I say put this a must see. Art and nature all in one.
Offbeat attraction showcasing the Wild West, featuring a saloon, wax museum, petting zoo & tavern.
Really heart breaking to see such a great place to close 😞. Me and my family have wonderful memories there and is hard to see it go.

Impressive landscape! And that is the reason we came here to see an old Western-style Nevada town-themed attraction. Too bad we came on a Tuesday (their dark-days) but the staff allowed us to explore for free!
Definitely a must see attraction if you want to get-away from Las Vegas and see something different and unique.

I'm really sad to hear this place will be demolished to make way for yet more unwanted housing to facilitate corporate greed.
This is(was) a great place to get away for a few hours, the restaurant was pretty good with decent prices, the jewel of their menu was most definitely the bison steak and the bison burger, not always available but worth the trip to find out. I've taken my kids there before and it was a great bonding experience, the town was fun to stroll around in and the shows and gun fights were fun. I wish I had gone more often. Oh and the place is haunted...I wonder if the ghosts will stay and haunt the new place....I hope they do....... Lol.... 👻

It says fully operational Wednesday thru Sunday. We are here on a warm December day. The only things open are the things that cost money like the shops. Wax museum is closed. Most exhibits are closed. This is probably the worst attraction for adults I have ever seen. The petting zoo was decent and the kids during busy season might love this place. As for adults, don't bother .

Liked the wolf! Right now it's a good time to go since it's not that hot! Did not eat at the restaurant (didn't want to wait 30 mins with 2 kids) BUT the burgers smelled so good!!

The cowboys were great, the atmosphere was incredible. I ate in restaurant, then i my kids went on a 1 hr ride, I went back in restaurant to stay warm and dry from weather. My oldest daughter brought her puppy that is in training for a service dog, for seizures inside bar/restaurant, where the supposed bar/restaurant manager questioned us about puppy, then kicked us out of establishment and off of property. Shame on her and whoever hired her. I'm sure knowing Bonnie, and that being a FAMILY and animal rescue foundation would of never of stood for that. May nothing good happen for the survivors of her. That must be the only job a bar manager can get, treating patrons with disabilities bad. No wonder ur sold and closing.
Las Vegas visitors looking for a nature-filled escape can find it at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The conservation area comprises a network of canyons and hills with opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing, and desert wildlife watching.
Red Rock is the perfect day trip if you are in Las Vegas and want to enjoy the outdoors. There are numerous trails, each with dynamically different scenery. The Calico Tanks is a 2.5 mile round trip hike with about 400-500 feet in elevation change. It is absolutely beautiful. When you get to the end, scale the wall for an amazing view of the entire Las Vegas Valley. If you are a bit adventurous, go off trail on the way back. You can't get lost, as the canyon walls lead back to the trail head.

We spent several hours here doing short hikes and just exploring the canyons. We visited in October and it was hot 80s F, but not unbearable. Many of the trails are very walkable and easy. I would recommend a hat and sunscreen as there is very little shade. It was about a one hour drive from Las Vegas and a perfect day trip. We combined this with also driving to Death Valley at sunset. Beautiful landscapes and so much to see. Highly recommend!
Amanda Edgar — Google review
Awesome views and really nice trails. It felt like we were on a private tour of the canyon. The 1-way road stretches all the way through the park, and it felt as if we paid for a private road. I recommend you go nice and slow. You almost feel like if you're back in time so much so that you can definitely shoot a jurassic Park scene here.
There's a 9/11 memorial on the park, pretty ko and interesting to see, you may miss it so be on the look out, it's on the side of the visitors center.

Had a lovely afternoon trip with the family to the Canyon. Beautiful open space with stunning rock formations. Saw a little wild rabbit near the visitor center. Definitely fill up on water before the drive especially if you're hiking.
We were able to follow a hike into the Canyon. It was sad to see that someone vandalized the water hole but it was easy enough to ignore. So many tadpoles in there! Not too strenuous. Great place to go to get away from the Las Vegas chaos.

What a peaceful place to be! It's so exciting to hike and explore the Red Rock Canyon! We had such a great time. A local showed us some ancient writing on the mountain. We were also able to watch some mountain climbers do their thing! Take the whole family. You can choose where to hike and the sights are stunning regardless. It's also a blast to climb into the little caves and relax for a little while as you take in the beauty of your surroundings! Now, there's always a chance that you will run into a tarantula in one of those caves, but I didn't. Take the trip and enjoy a great time outdoors!

Red Rock Canyon is a beautiful preserve teeming with color. You'll be able enjoy the scenic drive with regularly spaced facilities, or stop at the many well marked trails and do some exploring. I was thrilled to discover so much foliage in bloom in December. The stillness of the caverns was a wonderful break from the amplification of sound in the city. If you have a moment to be still for a bit, you may be able to see wildlife like Panamint Chipmunks or Mountain Bluebirds.

The whole area was pretty incredible. We went on the self-guided tour, read the signage and chose to do most of the moderate hiking trails. The temperature was about 20-30° cooler than in Las Vegas. There were plenty of bathrooms to use along our journey at the scenic stops. We brought a case of water with us in the trunk and definitely needed to kept hydrated.

Amazing scenic drive and the weather was perfect that day. If you time your entry right, don't forget to have a picnic lunch at the Willow Springs parking lot... plenty of picnic tables just be aware they aren't covered so you're exposed to the sun. Many stops and parking lots along the scenic drive for photo opportunities. I'll be back here again someday!
Albert Kim — Google review
Beautiful! For $20 per vehicle, you can drive the scenic loop and just look, or get out at designated parking areas, and take photos. This is a great location for those who just want to see the beauty and/or maybe take a little walk down a trail as well as those who hike and climb.
We spent about 90 minutes there because we drove through and only walked part of one trail.
There are bathrooms (larger, fancy porta-potties, basically) at some spots. Grab a map when you get there so you know where they are ahead of time.
We ordered tickets online. At 9 AM on a Sunday, it was not overly crowded - we never had a problem pulling into one of the parking areas.
If you're visiting Las Vegas, I definitely recommend spending a couple of hours at Red Rock Canyon. You'll get great photos!

Great place for Camping. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle and craziness you find in Las Vegas. Plus the temperatures are about 20° to 40° cooler.

This place is a climbers paradise! So much to do and so much to climb! The sport and trad routes are super fun and the approaches aren’t bad at all. The shade is truly a god send when you’re climbing all day. Kraft has some killer bouldering routes as well. We stayed at the campsite literally 2 minutes away from the crag! Perfect place.

Red Rock Canyon was a short drive from the strip, we went the first week of March. Beautiful weather to go there in by the way.
First few minutes we were driving we saw the donkeys they were so cute!
We hiked the trail to see the Waterfall which is only around in the Spring, it was very pretty. Muddy going up and a lot of rocks but we did it!
The gift shop was really cute, had a good amount of souvenirs.
There were bathrooms at each stop thankfully.
Overall we stayed about 2 hours, didn't do to many trails but you don't need to to see the beauty of the park!

Chill. Well more the vibe than the temperature. On that thought, this is a place best seen in the morning. Both for the temperature and the light. The main entrance has a visitor center and a cost that requires a reservation. Save your money and time and simply drive down to one of the free trailheads. The trails are groomed and fairly flat. You can easily do an hour adventure by walking a half hour out and then turn around and come back to your car. I think my favorite thing was the variety of cacti and succulents that we saw.
Mark Tremel — Google review
Made it a priority to explore as much as we could for the day but if you can go multiple days, I highly recommend it. I believe the entrance fee is $15 per car but we had Uber drop us off/pick us up. The commute from the Vegas strip was relatively short. The views on the journey were absolutely breathtaking. The Calico Tank trail is moderate intensity and worth completing. Bring more water than you think you need and snacks.

Red Rock Canyon was awesome! We drove up right as it stopped raining and their was a rainbow entering the park. It was super pretty. We did minimal hiking because it kept drizzling after a bit but was super pretty to drive through. I would love to come back and spend more time here.

A scenic, picturesque and serene landscape with amazing views of mountains. The day pass (about $25 in 2024) allows access to the visitor center, scenic loop drive and access to all the trails.
Please note that cars should only stop at designated areas on the loop. Plenty of photo opportunities and access to well marked trails are available in these stops. The larger scenic view points also have restrooms.
Rashid Farook — Google review
Really beautiful and well-maintained natural area with excellent hikes. We enjoyed it so much on our first visit that we opted to return with family the next week!
The online reservation system works well to manage crowds in the scenic loop (where most of the trail heads are), but it means you need to plan ahead for your visit. You might wish to download the park map before your visit. (They didn’t have paper maps when we were there)
We hiked there two different days and appreciated the well marked trails. There is parking at each collection of trailheads, and some lots also have pit toilets. Several areas also have picnic tables.

Very nice for a scenic drive. You can see all the rock formations and the colors – they’re out of this world.
Whether you’re into hiking or just wanna chill and enjoy nature, Red Rock Canyon is the spot, and it’s only a 25-minute drive from the strip

For a small park that is easily accessible from Las Vegas, you can easily spend a whole day here exploring the canyons, doing short hikes and rock climbing. The visitor center is really nice with a beautiful view of the Canyons as well as tons of information on flora and fauna. Also, a nice place to get some respite from heat. There is a small entrance fee but it's worth it.

Wonderful encounter! Las Vegas is about 17 miles west of Red Rock Canyon. The 13-mile trip offers breathtaking views of the canyon. There are picnic spaces, mountain biking trails, horseback riding, rock climbing, and hiking trails. It's a wonderful escape from the bustle of Vegas and breathtakingly gorgeous.

This place had amazing views. There is a scenic drive route that allows you to see many beautiful sites along with many hiking paths. Be prepared if you plan on hiking any trails. Some of the easier rated trails have elevation and rocks paths that may require some agility. We spent almost the entire day there. Walking 4-5 trails around the scenic route.

This place is absolutely beautiful. We were able to stop at several different trailheads before getting to a Conservation. We are from Florida and it was so good to see mountains and enjoy the nature that this beautiful area provides. We highly recommend if you were staying in the Vegas area and can have the availability to get up super early in the morning like we did at 5 AM and drive 40 minutes away from the strip to go see this beautiful area. The M Resort Spa Casino boasts beautiful panoramic views of both the Vegas Strip and surrounding mountain region, as well as a comprehensive spa and wellness center. With top-notch accommodations, professional staff, and an expansive casino, guests will have everything they need to enjoy their stay.
One of the nicest places off the strip! Good food selections even late at night whether you want fast or sit down they have it. It isn’t huge walking from one end to the other like most Vegas casinos. Nice layout with very clean rooms great tub and separate shower areas with great lighting within the rooms. We have stayed here a few times. The rooms are very nice. Pretty spacious. The bathtub and shower are separate. The bathtub faces the window. It does have a privacy shade plus tv. Shower is separate. The M is a great locals casino with a good rewards program. The pool is also one of their best assets. However, the level of service in their restaurants is very hit or miss, except for Raiders Tavern which seems to always be on point. Considering some locations within the property have never re-opened since the shutdowns, I don't see how they are considering building another tower when it seems like they struggle with staffing their current restaurant offerings and more importantly providing a great service. I hope to be proven wrong as they have a lot of good things going for them, but execution could be better.

My girlfriend and I live across the street so naturally we started going here when the Dottys crowd got kind of sketchy. Initially we loved it! But over the last few months there has been several times we've went and spent almost 2 hours playing and we're not approached or asked if we'd like a drink one time. Then went to every bar only to be told by someone at the last bar to go to the Raiders Tavern bar, they had to. Your cocktail waitress Carolina is by far the best employee you have on the floor interacting with customers. Her customer service is second to none. She understands the industry and is a professional. We only go in on nights she will be working and only sit in her section. At the Raiders Tavern the night bartender Sean and the blond women also working that shift are incredible. We order food to go regularly and always order and drink and catch up when they work.

A+/110%: Very nice. Definitely focused on the younger crowd! So A+! 🥳
A/100%: Love the music and zest! 💖
A-/90%: So many promotions but the payout could be better tuned. 😬
F/15%: This was my first time there and one of the cocktail waitresses had ignored me when I called out to her because she walked past me in snotty way. I didn't tip her the first time around because she waited awkwardly with her hand out. I tip generously but only after the initial drink. If you have my back (with drinks), I have yours (with tips). First night there and I played a good amount and spent a decent chunk of time. I only had one drink in the first 30 minutes I was there. I had to keep going to the bar. 😪

Felt like a secluded resort and spa! I loved it! I’ve stayed on the Vegas strip many times and it’s very crowded and some hotels on the strip never have enough staff. I can honestly say the M Resort is my favorite. They had plenty of staff and the food was delicious! The room was very nice! I definitely did not have any problems my entire trip and I would highly recommend!!!

Located at the very very very bottom of S. Las Vegas Blvd far from the glitz and glam of the actual strip is the M hotel. They have a lot to offer in their own right, a huge pool that hosts many concerts and events, restaurants, and plenty of Vegas gaming that you would see in a typical casino here. However, that’s really where the similarities end. It’s very low key and well brown. The decor is like seriously dated and unimpressive. The customer service is barely existent and when I have been served they are generally rude. Once I went to inquire if they had a room for the night one evening and the front desk guy was super rude and acting like I was annoying him by interrupting his convo with another employee to do his job! I have been coming here for over a year and to be honest only go back because it’s close to my house. The restaurant food is over priced as well and really not that great compared to what you can get on the actual strip. It’s more of a locals only hotel and not really for tourists looking for a good time

I enjoyed being a first time guest here!!
Amazing and very Upscale experience ,
And I will possibly be staying again in the future.
Pros that I noticed :
- Bathroom was equipped with a TV in the mirror
- Free Parking
- Free Card Gift In Room
- Free Water In Room
Some Cons that I noticed:
- When I arrived during My Check-In which was around 11am / a bit after.. I was told that no rooms were ‘available’ due to my 'early arrival'.
But I stood in line for a long time at 10am watching customers/the workers during my checkout.. And I noticed that 'every' person in line ‘was able’ to check-in early.

Stayed at the M for one night and thought it was a bit overpriced. The room is nice, but you could tell it wasn't properly cleaned. There was a red stain (dried blood???) on one of the pillow cases, and a couple of black hairs on the clean towels (not mine). When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk she couldn't care less. I love the casino and will be back to gamble, but not gonna stay at the hotel anymore.

Use to love this place until they took out favorite slots and video poker machines that were paying fairly well. They never re-opened the awesome buffet after covid either. Tightened up comps and multipliers also.. Not worth going there anymore, took our business elsewhere. Bye!

I've been going to the M for a few years. There are some really great things and some so-so things at the M.
They have a good variety of slot machines, but I would love to see more of the old style 3 reel slot machines like Triple Star, Pinball, Top Dollar, Double Diamond and similar. You can only find a few of these in the High Limit room. It would be nice to have these in lower denomination
They have a few table games, but not many, and nothing less than $10 minimum.
They have several choices for dining, including the best Sunday brunch. Their brunch has AYCE lobster and crab legs, and they even have beef wellington,, who has that? I just wish I could afford the $100 price 😔
The bars are pretty good. The bar tenders vary greatly. There's one little guy that thinks a lot of himself and does well with some customers and not some much with other customers. There are several that are very attentive and friendly. This last Sunday, I had the best bar tender (I believe his name was Stacie) that I've come across at the M. I added his photo below. He works at different bars inside of the M, so if you see him and there's an open bar stool, grab it and enjoy his service.

This resort is not in Las Vegas it is actually in Henderson. This is not a significant difference it is the southern most Vegas resort. The decor throughout the resort relies on horizontal lines this adds a visual of spaciousness but it is still pretty large. The landscaping is drought resistant and instead of grass they have artificial turf. Apparently they know this is a desert. They had maid service in the room while we were there that was very nice. The drawbacks. There is no in room coffee pot and when I made my reservation I requested a smoking room and at check in that was not honored. Overall we had a good time during our stay and I would recommend it.

The M's crew and service personnel were phenomenal! It was a convenient location, at the time. Traffic was less congested than other city locations that I've experienced. The luxury of the rooms felt inviting and comfortable. All the amenities being in the room, without having to call down to, or go to, the front desk, was helpful. The view from the 7th floor rocked! The whole location was so fun and entertaining, but the people made the whole trip! The best people were found, by me, at the best place, the M Resort Spa Casino! There is good soul to the place!

We have not stayed at the hotel yet but we'd love to sometime. It's hard to pay for a room when you're used to comped rooms with other hotel/casinos in the area. I'd love to give an honest review if we did stay there.

Recently visited the M this past week for a poolside show and was pleasantly reminded how nice this property is. The hotel is located just off the Las Vegas Strip, but it feels like a world away. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
One of my favorite things about M Resort is the pool area. The pool is huge and there are plenty of cabanas and daybeds to relax in. There's also a swim-up bar, so you can order drinks without having to get out of the water.

This was always an upscale casino. Airways especially clean, safe, and offered a wide variety of everything... games, dinning options, social events, sports events. All of this has remained true through my most recent visit over labor day weekend 2023 EXCEPT: it seems that the casino has really drastically gone downhill in the cleaning department. I would hope that this was an isolated incident. However, unfortunately, it is not the case. For instance, all around many of the slot games there is ashes, sticky liquid, trash, and general crud. It wasn't so much that, though. That could easily be cleaned up. It was the condition that the carpet was in, the burns on the slot chairs, the dark spots on several slot screens indicating the need for replacement. This neglect might ought to be addressed soon, before it gets too far out of control. Just my personal ideas. I'm not wanting to sound like negative Nancy, so I will sum this up with the overall rating for this casino, which I'd say is an 8.

We always dine at Anthony's great service. Great atmosphere, great food, great management. The best is the servers and the person that greets you at the front desk. There isn't any one better then these folks. Oh, by the way, the food is fabulous. You can't go wrong with any dish. Ask for a booth in the back, very romantic.

We purchased the Christmas light ticket and then all packed in the Expedition!!
We took Mom and Dad, local NV residents to it as well. 6pm light show had about 50 -70 cars in line already by 5:50pm! Thank goodness we went a few minutes early and chose the 6pm show.
Finding the right entry point was weird. We had to turn around and go in through St. Rose Parkway.
Great show! I wish the music was a bit louder! 🎵 😂 87.9 radio station to see the lights sync with music.
Enjoy!

Stayed here one night while passing through with a 12 foot moving truck. I needed a place to stay with enough open parking that taking up two parking spaces wouldn't be an issue, and it wasn't here, though be sure to check with the staff on check-in.
The room I was in was great. I wish I had more pictures to share, particularly of the bathroom which included a large shower with a bench, and a deep soaking tub that I was able to enjoy even at a height of 6'2".
The M Resort itself is a great venue with everything one could want. There is Raiders themed decor throughout as its the official Raiders hotel, which I enjoyed.
I highly recommend checking out Anthony's Prime Steak & Seafood while you're here if you get a chance.
If you're looking for an off-strip place to stay in the area, check this place out!

Beautiful, very large accommodations. His/ hers sink, lighted mirrors, energy efficient. Bath tub, separate shower with bench and separate toilet. Plenty of storage, fridge and workstation. 2 Seated area and table over looking the city if you choose to use the remote darkening shades. Staff was friendly, awesome service. The coffee and cherry Danish is to die for at baby cakes. And the Italian restaurant was amazing

Last minute I needed a hotel room and I'm glad I ended up at M Resort. It was very cheap for the quality of the room. The room was very clean, and not worn down at all. The view of the desert was beautiful. The staff were very friendly. I also appreciated how quiet it was in the room.
I ended up ordering room service, which was very reasonably priced and well portioned. I got the Philly cheesesteak. It was huge, and yummy.

We didn't have a chance to stay in the resort due to an incident with our rental vehicle. It had passed the deadline for cancellation already, but we tried to call the resort and describe the situation. Surprisingly their front desk was extremely helpful and flexible with their policy, they cancelled the booking for us even on such short notice and Expedia refunded us with the amount. So, definitely five star for the understanding, flexibility and being reasonable! If I get a chance to visit Vegas next time, will choose your place again for sure !

I stay here every year for my birthday celebration the last 7 years. The rooms are clean and nice decor
Each of the restaurants serve great food and the spa is wonderful. Only disappointment is the pool is not deep enough and usually too crowded. The machines are usually giving.

Went to play paintball in Henderson and decided to pop in and play a little at The M. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The resort was clean and felt newly refinished. The table games were great and we ended up playing craps for over 2 hours. The dealers were awesome (shoutout to Debbie/Debra, Huyung, and Jose the pit boss). They helped me hone in my game and made the whole experience enjoyable. Honestly had more fun gaming here than anywhere on the strip. Will definitely be back in the next time I’m in town!

Had a blast at this hotel. We stayed there for the home Raider game vs the giants. To start this hotel is super clean and extravagant. The rooms are definitely the nicest in Vegas. If you are a Raiders fan this hotel will be a blast for you, there is Raider memorabilia all over the place. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the stadium and then there is a city bus route that will bring you back. All of staff members we interacted with were super nice and helpful. It is my new favorite place to stay and I definitely be recommending it to anyone who asks.
Abandoned gold mine open for tours, with restored buildings housing retro signs, photos & relics.
What a cool experience for our4 kids and ourselves. The owners are very polite and straight to the point. We respected them and their property / belongings and had no problem. They only charge $2 per person and they could ask for more, we refused our change to give back to them. . Cute little gift shop and cold beverages. We were informed to not touch the cactus and saw pics / stories of what happens when you do. Overall I recommend taking the drive out there and visiting this beautiful location. Drive down the road past them for a beautiful scenic route.

An absolute must! This tour felt like an attraction at Disneyland. The mine is so well looked after and the team on site is very interesting and knowledgeable. A great family trip and of course, beautiful property with lots of chances to take awesome pictures. We will definitely go again!

You really need to visit thie place. The price is 1$ adult/hour. The owners are very friendly and funny and they will tell you about the history of the place. They also have an album with the celebrities that visited/filmed in that place.
You can also go to the Colorado River because it s only 5 miles away and take a bath because the water is warm.
P.S. They have snakes in the freezer.

The pictures don't do it justice! The mine tour was top notch by our guide Wade/Tony. Great conversation, the grounds are filled with old cars and buildings. For $20 we spent about 4 hours!

We got married in October of 21. This was the perfect setting for our wedding. The owner was very personable, shared the history of the little town and even cracked a few jokes. He was very accommodating and I would highly recommend this venue.💛

Pretty neat place to visit. There were lots of interesting antiques. Our kids are a fan and asked lots of good questions about the history of the place.
You have to check in at the front before walking around the area.
P.s if you drive about 5 miles further, you get to see part of the Colorado review.

What can I say. The owners have gone above and beyond to make history come to life! From the crashed airplanes to the custom automobiles, they have a plethora of mining equipment. They have found several skulls and even an alien or two. Be sure to open the freezer for a real surprise☆
The tour only operates with 4 adults for $15 each. You can look around all you want for only $1 . Well worth it.
They allow you to peek in on their guest rooms, but be cautious when you do, as they may have company.
Ask a million questions and get a million and one answers. Recommend 98.9%

What a wonderful glimpse back in time. The collection of memorabilia is encredible. Make the trip, you won't regret it. Fill your tank up and bring water, it's hot.

Wild West Goldmine Town preserved! Awesome desert ride too. (only about 45min from the Flamingo)
This town dates back to the 1700's, amazing! Now it's a ghost town...
Lots a cool relics just sitting in there place. Some are used in movie shots too.
We were pleasantly surprised at how a "City of Gold" would look way back when the Spaniards first settled here.
You can browse the property for a couple dollar fee on your own or take a tour and go deep into the history here and/or even go down into the old mind tunnels... up to you.

This picturesque ghost town is truly unique, unlike any other. The entire experience is so surreal and captivating, it's almost indescribable. There's an abundance of sights to behold and activities to enjoy, making it the perfect excursion for a free afternoon while in Las Vegas. While we didn't encounter any ghosts during our visit, one can't help but imagine the countless opportunities for such encounters. The drive to get here is absolutely worthwhile; it's an experience not to be missed. Plus, there are plenty of photo opportunities just waiting to be captured.

Nelson's Ghost Town is such a great little tourist spot! Friendly residents and a rich history. Next time I will come earlier for the tour.
I really had such a great time! I went as a kid but didn't remember much from that first visit. I only had time to take some pictures before sunset but I will definitely be back for the full experience!
P.s. If you pay for the photographer rate you may get access to CERTAIN restricted areas. ($10/hr)

A wonderful day trip from Vegas. The front desk & gift shop are real Awesome folks that get straight to the point. No taken advantage of tourist here. Real down to earth. Very walkable & you can bring your dog too. Good Mexican food available in a food truck, really convenient. Everyone should try this place. Truly Amazing🤩

Had a blast exploring Nelson with my hubby. It is a nice little stop off the beaten path. It cost us a dollar each to explore and take some photos. I wasn't to sure all that was out there so I wasn't fully prepared for all the amazing photo opportunities. There is something for everyone. It has a great rustic feel. Who doesn't love old cars and cacti. I cannot wait to go back and get more amazing photos and do the mine tour. I highly recommend this stop.

Very cool place to visit. Not necessarily a ghost town, but had a lot of old school vehicles and buildings, and things of that sort.
There was also options for doing gold mine tour and museum.
Only ask for $1, if you plan to stay more than 15 min. We just donated some money because they were very kind and it's cool to have these things around in the long run.

Incredible experience!! Small fee for photographers but it was absolutely reasonable per hour. We were even able to tour some “hidden”/closed off to the public spots! We sped through and we were able to hit most spots before the hour was up. Definitely a little toasty, even in April so bring plenty of water (and deodorant lol).

After reading the negative reviews I’m wondering what’s wrong with people?!
This place is absolutely amazing and well put together ghost town.
When you arrive you will see clear signs what you have to do and maybe a bit straightforward BUT it is for a reason.
I was walking towards the shop to check in when a guy comes out asking what do you want? 😂 I was like checkin as the sign says. He said it’s $1 per person to take photos with your phone or $10 for professional cameras.
We paid $10 for 3 of us. Which is super cheap.
He told us where to go, when he closes etc and we went around quickly as we had 1 hour only before it closes. You need more time than 1 hour however we managed and we had so much fun.
Before we left we got some drinks and talked to the owner who was super helpful and friendly. He recommended to watch the sunset from the river down the road. We went there and it was absolutely breathtaking.
Can not recommend this place enough. Must visit if you are in Las Vegas.

Really fun place to visit outside of Las Vegas. It's basically free unless you want to stay for a long time or book for an event. Some people have their weddings there.

Been here in 2011 and returned in 2024. A lot has changed, the hidden gem is a way more touristic these days but still a must see when around Las Vegas. It definitely gives you a sense of desert americana. Oh and Bruce is a real gentleman welcoming you.

We stumbled upon this place on our first day in Vegas. It’s about 45 out from town, but well worth the visit. The owners are super nice and full of great information.
It’s practically free as the owners charge $1 per person and there is so much to see. You can also purchase snacks and beverages.
Once you’re done exploring, don’t be afraid to venture onward to the Colorado River overlook. It’s about 5 miles down and a hidden gem!!!

Must see place when in Vegas, its a bit of a drive but well worth it. The area can be explored on your own risk, just make sure to check in at the store first and read the big signs. it's close after dark (5pm). Like the sign says its not Disneyland, keep your dog and kids on a leash the native cactus can be painful and there are plenty of sharp rusted parts but that's the nature of a cool ghost town.

A true hidden gem hidden in the Eldorado Valley. Lot's to see even on the cheap self tour. Super friendly folks and an easy walk around. Good half day trip out of Vegas to get away from the crowds. Didn't have time for the mine tour which runs around 90 mins. Plan on around three or four hours to take it all in! Will definitely be back!

I recommend stopping by on your way from Vegas. the ghost town is located in a picturesque location. the views are impressive. I think, it's definitely worth a visit. but it seemed to me, that there was nothing special to see there. admission costs $1 and can be considered free. and the woman, who works in the store, is very nice and friendly!

Town of Nelson still has residents, not sure if it's really a ghost town. The Techatticup mine reconstruction is not true to the area, all items have been collected by the owners and staged. This does not mean it's not a great place to visit. Great old vehicles and buildings collected across the southwest, so there is great history behind all the collection there. Great photo ops but they have started charging.
