Trail of Lights is awesome! A decent distance and really well done lights! It was definitely crowded but they also do a pretty good job of staggering people in. I would definitely recommend it for all ages! Be sure to wear appropriate clothes and shoes. There is not a paved path the entire way so it could get a little messy if it rains or snows.

My daughter and I went on one of their free days and had an amazing time. I grew up in Littleton but have never actually been to this location though I have visited the Denver location on several occasions. I must say I think I prefer this location now! It's easy to get to, laid back, tranquil and stunningly beautiful. I particularly enjoyed seeing all of the edible plants worked into arrangements, including kale, cabbages, and a wide variety of herbs. I especially appreciated the kindness of the staff toward the younger crowd. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant, understanding and patient. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic stop for people who love gardens, local history, and horticulture! We have a membership and have already been a couple times this year, and to the main botanic gardens location. Staff always very helpful.
Would highly recommend, especially when the butterfly house is in season!

We had a wonderful time visiting Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farm in Littleton! The house with antique items was a delightful experience, and being able to interact with adorable farm animals up close was a real treat. The volunteers' dedication and friendly nature made the visit even more enjoyable, as they happily answered all our questions. The Butterfly House was a highlight too, with well-cared-for butterflies and beautiful plants adding to the magical ambiance. There is plenty of space for kids to run around and play and even a dedicated kids area. There is so many neat things to find along the way we find more every time we come. Highly recommended for a lovely day out!

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing place to spend the day! I was impressed with all of the features and the atmosphere. Though maybe October is not the most ideal time to experience gardens in colorado the remaining living plant life was so beautiful and well cared for! The pumpkin patch was also amazing! The best selection of ornamental gourds and pumpkins! Definitely go if the opportunity presents itself!

As a wedding photographer, I LOVE this place. SO many great spaces for photos, plenty of flexibility options for couples when it comes to their ceremony + reception spaces, and I love that they're continuing to focus on sustainable initiatives.
Kaitlyn Holeman — Google review
The corn maze was so much fun!!! Not easy, but super fun! The floral scenery was beautiful and the staff was super friendly offering to assist with anything. The corn maze had a super cool festival of food and games with a children’s maze too. Worth the trip for sure!

Denver Botanic Gardens was more of a historic sight than bountiful flowers and plants and such, much different than the one downtown. I believe it was between seasons when we went 2 days ago (May 2nd, 2023).
About a 1.5 mile loop, saw a field of open space with Prarie Dogs, was about 50+ of them in this field running around enjoying life, pretty cool to witness from a distance.
Pictures of the house is from when German settlers came and picked that spot for their farm which apparently still feeds a few thousand people. Beautiful day to just spend outside learning something new. If you've never been, worth a visit if in the area. Cost is $7.00 if you're a vet, I think 10 for citizens.

Great place to come with the family, or without, to enjoy the amazing plants/trees/foliage! If you feel like it, you can probably learn something. A special shout out to Elyas who was friendly, knowledgeable, and pointed us in the right direction. Thank you for a great day!

Went to pick up pumpkin at their pumpkin patch. Great pumpkins. Corn maze was fun to escape from. Lots of food trucks, drinks and snow cones. It's a great event for family with kids to hangout and have fun. Lots of activities for kids.
I got here at 9:10am and there was a long line for parking.

We'll have to plan our next visit for a time when it's in bloom however today was still pretty and relaxing. Lots of walking paths, shady places to relax, a small kid's playscape, some animals, and clean restrooms.

I had been wanting to visit this garden for quite a while, and I wasn't disappointed. When I got there, the first thing that occurred to me was how necessary this little oasis from the city was. You hear all the sounds of nature while your eyes are full of bright, vivid flowers in the intriguingly-designed layout. I let my eyes guide me around the garden encouraged by my curiosity. I discovered the garden of irises and lavender, which I can't wait to visit later in the season. Then there was branch-constructed maze that made me feel like a kid again. I wondered over to the native plants and the survival garden, which inspired me for my garden. I stumbled upon a trail that led me to the children's play area with a tree house followed by the stables and barns. There's a little bit of history here to teach kids what life was like when the farm was established. I could go on and on, but I think you should see it for yourself. I'll be back for sure to see the gardens in other seasons.

Simply wonderful! Butterfly garden, indigenous gardens, and farm run by veterans and volunteers. Lots of walking, would make a great outdoor event space. Large scale sculpture by Patrick Dougherty.

We spent over two hours leisurely exploring the grounds of this beautiful, pastoral setting. Lots of manicured grounds, walking paths, and old buildings filled a very enjoyable afternoon.

Lovely gardens near Chatfield Reservoir. The fall colors were fantastic, in October 2023, and the unusually warm weather made for an easy stroll through the corn maze. Met other, friendly people there and saw a wedding venue in a nice corner (wedding was the day before). Looks like a great place to host events, too, for family or work
Karen Hawes — Google review
Could not love this place more. A cute little farm by Chatfield Reservoir. We recently went during the holiday lights and it was great!! They had local artisans, hot cocoa, and the best caramel apples!!

"An enchanting experience that truly encapsulates the magic of the holiday season! The Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms Walk of Lights is a mesmerizing display that transports you into a wonderland of dazzling lights and festive cheer. From the moment you enter, you're immersed in a breathtaking symphony of colors and artistic light installations that captivate the imagination.
The attention to detail in every display is simply stunning - from the twinkling archways to the magnificent illuminated sculptures, each step feels like a journey through a fairy tale. The ambiance is pure joy, enhanced by the cheerful melodies and the warmth of hot cocoa or cider available along the path.
The organizers have truly outdone themselves in creating a family-friendly experience that delights both young and old. The variety of themes and displays cater to every taste, ensuring that every visit feels like a unique adventure. The friendly staff members are knowledgeable and add an extra layer of hospitality, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
This is a must-visit event for anyone seeking to embrace the holiday spirit in a magical setting. The Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms Walk of Lights is a testament to creativity, artistry, and the joy of the season. Five stars do not seem enough to convey the sheer delight this experience brings!"
Happy holidays and enjoy your visit!

We went on a perfect weather day. The corn maze had a long and short option. We did both and it probably took us less than an hour at a leisurely pace. Look for and take a pic of the treasure chest in the longer maze to win a candy at the exit!
After, we went on a free (they accept tips) tractor ride that loops around a section of the property. The area is beautiful and scenic. Even though we went in the off season, there were still plenty of beautiful flowers. The butterfly exhibit was closed until May, we went in October.

We love this place. It’s mellow and quiet. Although they did make some changes by the barn and Silo that we thought they shouldn’t have, we still like this place very much. They took away some of the old animal stalls, and other things that show how old the place is. Wish they would keep with the old and authentic.
In the summer you can see many hummingbirds by the yurt. Also by the silo.
There’s a pond in the back that they now have a fountain, it would be nice if they would have some picnic tables( but they don’t) so bring a picnic blanket if you like water to sit by. By the other house on the east side of the property, they have some animals that kids love to pet. They also have massive vegetable gardens.
We have never come in the winter, we’ve only been there spring through fall, but have never been disappointed .

My son and daughter-in-law held their wedding there. The venue was spectacular. The fall colors and late season flowers augmented this wonderful event.

Lake & wetlands with miles of nature trails, birdwatching, boating & fishing, plus a Nature Center.
Gorgeous lake by the airport! Went by here to kill some time before our flight! Colorado’s sunlit blue sky is reflected in the lake, which is partially frozen. There were many geese and they were loud! There are some trails around the lake. Nice place to take kids and/or dogs for a walk.
They allow boating, but it is now suspended due to the season. As this is a state park, they do charge ~$10 for a day pass. However, you can use the pass across state parks nearby!

Beautiful walk and scenery. Part of this is a Wildlife sanctuary, so dogs can only go right after the bridge. Bald Eagles are nesting in the area! If you walk around the lake 1 time, it's the same as hiking a 14er, but on flat ground, pretty cool! Very clean and well kept.

Our family enjoyed our visit to the Barr Lake state park. It is open from 5 am - 10 pm. We went around 12 pm and there was a considerable rush given the great weather that day in the month of February! Kids enjoyed the nature centre & activities there!
There’s an archery range as well. Visitors may boat, fish, hike, bicycle, horseback ride, natural study, bird watch etc! There are picnic areas with tables and grills too. The full trail of the perimeter of the lake is 8.8 miles but there are shorter walks as well as easy trails.
Overall, with 3 kids, aged 10, 7, 5, we enjoyed our day at the Barr Lake state park! Be sure to visit the nature center!

Beautiful park! Loved the information center. Excellent interactive exhibitions for kids. Cool bird viewing station. Next time we are in Denver, we want to go back and spend more time.

Today was a perfect day at the lake! Sunny and warm day, only very windy! Someone couldn't keep up with a chappie water on their kayak...
I witness the first water rescue of the season! Great job Park Rangers!!! Fast, efficient, successful!!!

It’s a big State Park, lots of trails. I would bring a bike next time :). One of the longest boardwalk I’ve been (great place to watch and listen for different kinds of birds). Be sure to bring a telescope coz’ they are tiny from far away. It’s quiet place except for the planes.
If want to be on the water make sure you head out to where the boats go. Can bring your paddle boat. Place to fish. They got nice sand by the water it almost look like a beach but no waves.
Great place to watch the sunset. I suggest you bring bug spray or else you will get bitten by mosquitoes and other flying bugs.

We went this weekend in time to see the change of colors in the leaves. Due to the time of year, much of the lake was dried out but there were plenty of areas to walk or even run around. It was very peaceful and the area was very well kept with just a few people there in the late afternoon. We will definitely be back to walk the entire area and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Great State Park where Bald Eagles hang out in the Spring. Visitors Center has a wonderful nature area for kids to explore. The Park has a nice walking track around Barr Lake. Park is located on the outskirts of Denver Metro Area.

This place is a jem!! It's a nice day adventure place! You can fish, hike, picnic, go on the tour, birdwatch, or just sit and enjoy nature.
Jon Greenfield — Google review
It's an enjoyable place to spend your day. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, walking trails, clean bathrooms, signs to help you identify what you are seeing, beautiful vistas, other activities that I didn't take advantage of today. Picnic areas. Restricted pet areas, boating, etc

Barr Lake is a great state park for gentle hiking and bird watching. We spotted Hawks and even a bald eagle!
It's so nice experiencing such a serene park without driving too far out of the city.

A nice place to spend some time. Great views, a serene lake, and a lot of peace, it was quiet and fairly empty.
Lots of walking trails and grounds to explore. I got in for free with my state park pass but usually it’s 10 dollars to enter.

Excellent. No idea why we’ve NEVER been here before!! It was 20 minutes from our door on 470! What?! Such a beautiful place! I grew up in the mountains and love walking in the trees and that’s sometimes a hard order to fill in the DM. But here you can walk in the trees AND be wowed by the incredible views of the Rockies. The nature center is awesome! We went to use the loo before we set out around the lake and ended up staying for about 30 minutes looking at the displays and especially matching names to the birds of prey to their faces. We live on the eastern edge of the bowl in SE Aurora and we have so many falcons and hawks that we don’t know the names of. So note we do! Very cool! And the Trak Chair Program?! I mean, WOW. Just blew our minds. My MIL had a stroke and was in a wheelchair for years. So many places were not accessible for her electric chair or just not accessible to a chair at all. She would have LOVED this program and this place!! I think this is amazing and would love to see it in action. What a wonderful, amazing, inclusive thing to implement. Wonderful job!!
We can’t wait to go back and explore more!

Entry fee to the park is $10. We thought that we could drive around the lake by car, but there is no road there. Beautiful nature in the park, but there were a lot of mosquitoes. The trails are not paved, we were with a small baby , we were not able to walk along the trails because it is not comfortable to walk there with a stroller.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been the host here for three weeks and wow I love it here. There is so much to see and learn.
Wendy Wesson — Google review
Such a gem of a park! Went here after dropping folks off at the airport and I wanted a break from the traffic. Beautiful party and education center with a lake, dam and lake trail. When the weather is warm I'm sure it's busy with boaters and fishing. But since it was cold and mid March I just got to share my walk with the birds and squirrels. The nesting eagle pair was the real highlight. And something I haven't seen before: trail accessible wheelchairs that can be reserved. Not paved trails for city wheelchairs, but motorized off-road style for folks to access the dirt trail. Great park!
The Denver Art Museum is a large art museum in the Western United States. It has a beautiful collection of American Indian art, as well as paintings, sculptures, and prints from around the world. There are many programs and workshops throughout the year at the museum, including opportunities to meet some of the artists whose work is on display.
Well done museum with great colors and lighting. All the little rooms and hallways, passageways give intimacy to the art provided. It makes me feel like I could enjoy without a lot of people around. Good selection of exhibits, bathrooms are always close. Tip: Take the elevator to the top, work your way down. The map isn't a good guide and it seemingly leaves out a lot of the museum.

Wonderful art museum!. Buildings are modern and beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a large collection of both modern and historic artwork and exhibits are very interesting. They also have a parking garage which is conveniently located and made it easy to access the museum. They have two restaurants on site. We went to the more causal cafe to get a snack and food/drinks were good. There is a lot to see so plan to spend at least several hours here.
Heather Mires — Google review
Fantastic building design and fantastic artwork!
I thought 2.5hrs was enough but nope. Current Desert Rider exhibition is a whole movement I knew nothing about and walked away amazed. Need to come back to see the two floors I missed including Keith Hearing’s final piece. Highly recommend.

Massive, *phenomenal* museum!!
Like Disney for art lovers - I didn't even have time to explore the whole thing in an afternoon...
Awesome mix of classics and contemporary.
Beautiful building itself, and I *love* the forward-facing acknowledgement of the indigenous peoples who first were on the land
Admission was free on the day I happened by, and there was also a huge pow-wow taking place - serendipity!
Christine M — Google review
Pretty good overall. I was impressed with the variety of artwork and pleasantly surprised. I think it's a disservice to the Indigenous Arts of North America exhibit and artists that recorded video and audio to accompany their pieces with the museum's poor placement of being next to the hallway where every visitor talks loudly in groups and passing by. I couldn't hear the video/audio recording because visitors voices echoed and elevated in volume.
crystalkgaribay — Google review
I had so much fun at the museum the other day with my fam. Honestly, I’ve only had good experiences at the art museum and have really great memories of when we saw the Monet exhibit a few years back. I remember it being a great night out with my hubby and we LOVED the beautiful paintings. I think they have a ton of new artwork! I was blown away by all the amazing art!
Miri Roberts — Google review
Amazing art museum. One of the best I’ve been to. They have a great variety of art with a couple of statement pieces. They have original Van Gogh and Monet! I would highly recommend this to everyone and you can find something that interest you even if you aren’t an art lover.

First time visiting the Denver Art Museum, last weekend.
It's 20 to get in if you're a non member and 16 if you are a student.
The museum is in 2 adjoining buildings. There were many artist exhibits as we enjoyed the Asian along with the Latin American rooms. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Denver area.

What a great museum! Awesome exhibitions. They were also having a printmaking event where you could watch and talk to artists making prints using different methods. Would definitely come back for a second look.

Absolutely breathtaking! The Denver Art Museum is an amazing collection of some of the most interesting and eclectic art pieces. The setup is open and spacious and inviting and I think they've been a wonderful job. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I highly recommend it, and especially on the many free days that are offered each year

Spectacular collection and well curated! Each floor and room had a distinct purpose and feel. Excellent collections of American Western art and Native art pre-colonial to the present.

My visit to the Denver Art Museum was a cultural journey I won't forget! The diverse art collection is truly captivating.
Tip: Check their website for special exhibitions and parking info. The Hamilton Building's architecture alone is worth the visit. An artistic treasure in the heart of Denver! 🎨🏛️
We were late and I had to leave for my flight. The attendant lady at the counter was such a sweet that she refunded our fees as we are not going to spend much time here.

Large and well kept museum. Very knowledgeable staff that answered any questions we had. I was so honored to see the Doré painting in person. Every floor is fun and different. The scenic view up top is also lovely. A must see in Denver!

The Denver Art Museum is a great stop to make when visiting Denver. There is definitely a lot to see and you could easily spend hours looking at the art and history in both of their buildings. Excellent place for art lovers and children. Added bonus to their main art is the special exhibits that they have, like for this month’s exhibits, the Soul of Black Folks by Amoako Boafo and All Stars from the Phillips Collection. And as an added bonus, if it’s of interest to you, just a few blocks away from the museum is Denver’s Capitol Hill.
JNelle J — Google review
Wonderful art museum for a reasonable price and helpful staff. The wide range of arts and exhibits will cater to any aficionado. The balcony on the top floor is awesome as well - great way to see the mountains and the capitol building! Could easily spend a few hours here as there are two buildings full of art.
Taylor Marshall — Google review
So much to see and do for a very affordable ticket price! The Denver Art Museum is a large collection of a wide variety of artistic pieces from around the world. There's something for everyone spread out across multiple floors in two different buildings. You can spend several hours here and not see it all in one trip. The rotating and special exhibits are always unique as well and worth the extra few dollars to see.
Donald “Don” Hoffmann — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Art Museum. We went on a free day so not everything was available but that didn't matter! There was plenty to enjoy. There's so many interactive stations throughout the museum to explore hands-on for all ages. There were short 10 minute lectures/discussions in various parts of the museum for guests to enjoy. We listened to several of these. It made for a great Homeschool day for us.
Melissa Shrader — Google review
7 floors of art in a modern building whose architecture is designed to provide beautiful views of Denver. There was too much to see in one day, so I went back the next day, despite the added cost of paying for a second day because I thought the value was worth it.
I loved that an entire floor was comprised of current artists indigenous to the US and Canada. These pieces reacted to the history of colonization and coped with finding self in modern day. The art ranged from sculptures to paintings, from realism to abstract. I've rarely seen art museums with this kind of collection.
However, I was disappointed that in order to get to that floor, most visitors would pass through an exhibit on Native American art from hundreds of years ago. This exhibit made no mention of how the museum obtained the art, nor how the museum was currently working with Native Americans to either return the art to their community, or to ensure they were displaying it properly.
Additionally, on another floor, a Qu'ran was displayed opened. While I've often seen Bibles displayed that way, this could be disrespectful, given that the majority of Americans know little about Islam. There was not enough context provided here about why it was open, how it was obtained, and whether the museum was working with anyone from the Muslim community about appropriate ways to display.
The top floor has marvelous local art and also balconies with marvelous views of the city.
The rotating exhibits were fascinating and well worth the extra cost.

Wow! Great Experience!! One of my favourite art museums in the US. 6 floors of different of art, from many different artists and times. 101% recommended to check. Building is amazing! Make sure to check all the amazing views from all the different of windows. Will come back in a few years!

It's hard to compare to the art museums of New York City or Washington DC, but the Denver Art Museum does well to boast a collection that begs one to return again and again to greet familiar friends and to search out and discover new ones. I am always so happy coming here, but then again, I'm kind of a big dork for art, so I'm sure that helps 😄

My parents and I spent the afternoon touring the Denver Art Museum and had a fantastic experience. From the architecture of the museum to the views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains, the space is inviting and inclusive. We were able to borrow a museum wheelchair for my mom to access the museum while my dad took advantage of the portable seating. The galleries featured extensively artwork of native and local artists while adding to a more traditional collection. I appreciated the care that went into curating the exhibits too. My mom especially enjoyed the textiles. You can definitely spend an afternoon, an entire day, or days exploring all that the museum has to offer. I know I will be back during my next adventure in Denver to take in even more!
The United States Mint in Denver is a gift shop with a lot of coins and other money-based memorabilia for sale. It's the largest coin producing facility in the world and it's fun to tour for adults and kids alike.
We loved visiting the mint. Very informative and interesting tour. Well worth coming in the early morning for tickets! Our guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing about the mint. We will definitely be back!

Great place to tour if you can get a ticket. Shopping available.
Swk K — Google review
We couldn't do the tour because it was full for the day. They only give 20 tickets per time frame, 100 tickets a day.
Stacy Kunnassery — Google review
Absolutely five out of five stars. A free tour, friendly employees, an amazing story, and am museum like appearance.
This is a historic building in Denver, and the interior is probably three stories tall. So appears as if the Mette has built an internal second story that takes visitors through all of the production areas. It is simply quite amazing.
They have coins, but the amount of items of a value that they have an addition to that is quite astounding. They have some of the original hand presses, scales, one of the original calculators ever built, and some of the original desks and books that were used for the accounting of this when it first open.
Very tight security as you would expect for a building that makes money and stores $80 billion worth of US gold.
The tour is conducted by members of the public affairs department escorted by US treasury police, so don’t even think tour guides. Instead, think historians who love to share their stories, walking around and visiting with you.
I went on a cold winter day with my daughter. We both had a good time. Because of the weather here, be prepared to stand outside in a pre-security line for about 20 minutes.
Check the list of prohibited/allowed items before you go. Even things like small purses are not allowed. So we bought my daughters small purse not knowing this when we get online at exactly the time we are supposed to be there. I asked the treasury police officer if I had time to run that back to my car so we didn’t miss our tour. I was again met by kindness With him telling me to take my time and that I was not going to miss anything.
Highly recommend, especially for people who live in town, and I’ve never been there.

What a cool place to visit! Yes, the ticket system isn’t the best but fortunately my sister was able to go at 10:30 and snag us tickets for the 3:30 tour. They don’t allow pictures inside which is a bummer since they had a few awesome coins I would have loved to get a pic of but oh well!
Heidi Greene — Google review
Interesting gift shop which pushes one into the hobby of coin collection.
Balaji Ponnambalam — Google review
The tour was OK.
People who work there were super nice and correct.
I expected more rare coins displayed instead of art made with coins, which isn't representative to the US Denver Mint at all.
The tour was shorter than I expected, too. There are lots of interesting things to talk about the origin of Denver Mint and the different coins that were minted throughout the years.
Some recent proof sets were displayed too, which isn't interesting at all for a coin collector as it is not rare to find. You can find that easily on eBay or wherever.
However, the experience was still nice and I can't expect more as it was a free tour. Of course, after the tour there is a Gift Shop.
In the Gift Shop you can find all kind of merchandising. It was quite expensive though. They sell really common coins extremely expensive, I'd say at least 3 times more expensive than eBay which was something funny, but not funny haha...
With all this being said, I loved taking the tour and of course bought merchandising as well. This is a MUST for every US coin collector despite all my critics.

The Mint decided to close today (Monday - 2/5/24) for their own special holiday - however no where on their website, on their phone system or recored message or on Google does it say they will be closed. We arrived for a tour and their gift shop was open to sell things however they said they wouldn't run any tours because they randomly decided to be closed today.

Interesting and informative 45 min tour ! Michael had all the dad jokes and kept it fun! Get to see the coin making process. Tickets sold (for free) daily and sells out early. However, they never checked our tickets so… might be able to just sneak into the tour if sold out. The gift shop is really cool with lots of uncirculated and unique coins to buy ! No photography inside allowed.

The Mint has an excellent tour of the place, and explains how money is printed. The gift store is small, but it has an okay selection of goods. Definitely worth the "money" (pun intended) to take a tour of the Mint. You won't regret it. ;)

Can’t get tickets. So apparently you need to be in line at 5a because. It’s 1994. Nobody has time for this nonsense when you are on vacation. There should be online ticketing because it’s 2023. Hard pass! Don’t waste your time.
Sara T — Google review
Tickets are free and are first come, first serve. Arrived at 9:30, and got tickets for the 12:30 tour. Have to arrive 30 minutes before tour to go through security. No bags allowed. If visiting during summer months or spring break, arrive at 5 am as tickets will be gone by 7:10am. Ticket window opens at 7am. Tour itself was ok... Not sure what I was expecting, it's a guided tour mixed in with self guided bits. After the guide says their script, you're free to roam around and read the information panels.. they give you plenty of time to read everything, maybe too much time.. there is a feeling of waiting around in between each room.. staff is super friendly but I do think the tour could be a bit more animated and interactive. Would I line up at 5am during peak season, no way... Off peak, why not. :) There is $12 and $13 (all day or $5-6 per hour) parking nearby. Walking distance to the capital and other sites as well.

Why don't they offer online tickets like every other place in 2023? Everything else on our vacation was perfect and planned out months in advance. But we apparently missed mint tour tickets by 10 minutes on the only day we could go. They said there would be a sign out on the road if the tickets were gone for the day. With no sign present, we paid $18 to park to see an 8.5x11 sheet of paper on the ticket office window. Don't waste your time.

This free tour is informative and fun. You need to obtain a ticket before the tour and then show up a half hour before the tour starts. No picture taking is allowed in the building. You will see displays of historic information and coinage as well as the mint making the coins. You will come home with a free sample. Tickets can be obtained as early as 7 a.m.
The Colorado Convention Center is a large and modern convention center in downtown Denver that is often used for events such as trade shows, conferences, and conventions. It has a ballroom that can hold 5,000 people and five meeting rooms.
Place is a fantastic venue! Whether it's a convention, comedy show or concert it's always well put together. Went to Decadence for new years and it was absolutely amazing! Sound system and acoustics were on point, security was friendly, crowd control was well done and the lighting and ambiance were off the charts!

Absolutely fantastic. It is HUGE. The theatres are superb with comfortable seating and advanced acoustics and AV systems. The conference halls are huge. The meeting rooms are many of several size options. Lots of washrooms. There is a gift store and a cafe. Both are pricey but then that's expected. My only complaint is enough seating area outside of the meeting rooms and halls. Not enough charging stations. A dedicated drop and pickup area for taxis would be great.

Great facility for large conferences. This is the third time I’ve worked a show here and all of the support staff is excellent. Session rooms are large and sound in them is solid. The large exhibit hall has all you need for a big show.Attractive architecture and art throughout

We love events held at the convention center! Today we went for the International Sportsman Expo - so many booths and interactive sections. We especially loved the raptors and being able to look inside tents and campers. We've missed expos - so glad they are all returning!
Parking can be difficult - we prefer the garage next door!

Great venue. MAPS should have considered the size of the meeting rooms given 11k in attendance. Many pro were licensed pr9viders who wanted to hear the science. Standing room only in the halls seemed like a fire risk. Several people just gave up on gearing the speakers who counted for credit. I think the Convention Center is lovely. The organizers needed to take into account the audience.

Firstly my experience was the Fan Expo. Great experience overall hence the 5 stars.
But, the staff that worked the expo could be more knowledgeable about the stalls and what are on sale. I asked 2 staff members the same question and both didn't have an answer for me.
However, I didn't feel this was enough to knock it down to 4 stars. All staff were extremely friendly and willing to help.

I attended the Colorado Technical University 2023 Graduation at this facility. The facility is very, very nice. There is more than enough space to hold multiple events. There was also a tattoo show taking place. I had the opportunity to walk around a little bit after the graduation and there was just so much space everywhere and multiple levels. This was definitely an excellent selection to have a graduation as well as the other multiple upcoming events that I saw posted.

Overall: 4.00. Neatly groomed and well-maintained venue in the heart of downtown Denver near the capital (see pics). Good views from floor & balconies. Like ability to pre-order beverages & snack options for initial pickup & intermission. Lots of bathroom options. Parking garage needs better signage. At night, it’s dark & poorly lit making it feel unsafe.

The convention center is centrally located and easy to reach by public transportation or walking from the downtown hotel. It's a well-designed building with huge glass windows that provide a great view of the city, and the interior is spacious enough to accommodate large conferences, just like the one we had. Overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the place and the service provided by convention center staff during our event.

Was able to go for Decadence 2021. Super clean, and area was massive. As far as a venue or place to see something at I would recommend it. Parking can be a bit of a pain but nothing out of the norm an they have plenty of public lots around the area.

This place is so huge. I think they should’ve though that a little bit better and had some areas for food always maybe cater differently. But it’s clean. It’s pretty needs more parking. The people are always nice that work here both the people in the front and the people in the garage.

It's very well laid out. Navigating the convention floor was easy and everything was easily to get too. It's also at the heart of downtown so you can easily stop by any of the many restaurants in the city. My biggest complaint was that some of the rooms had a faint gas smell while the a/c was warming up the place.

Attended the Denver FanExpo, I would highly recommend. We went on the final day, the only disappointing thing would be the food selections since we aren't able to bring anything in. Everyone is super friendly, from fellow fans to celebrities. I was able to take pictures with anyone. First Expo was a success. The vendors were super nice, and there was a little something for everyone.

Fantastic and very modern convention center! Amenities and facilities are bar-none! My Denver experience too was quite different this time vs. six months ago. I didn't see any homeless populations and felt safe around the 16th street mall this Colorado Convention Center. But this is my experience and my opinion YOMV (your opinion may vary). I went there for the Denver Auto Show and to see the Down to Earth movement's show cars (happening 04/04 through 04/07, 2024). Lots of fantastic cars on display! I highly recommend this convention center!

Big wide open spaces just like you would expect out of a convention center. There is coffee and snacks in the middle towards the front door. It wasn’t open when I was there. Even the ballrooms are fairly decent size and the convention center and self has multiple halls that are large.

I’ve attended a lot of different types of events, conferences and expositions at the Colorado Convention Center and it never fails to be a great venue.
The Center is easy to get to via RTD. Parking is available as well as easy access to the ride sharing vendors. A short walk to the 16th Ave mall opens up access to all sorts of restaurants.

Hosts lots of amazing events.
It is also very close to lots of public transportation.
The problem lies with how the events are set up for entry. No matter what event I have been to the entries are always confusing and lines tend to be long, especially at the fan expo.
Cell reception can be spotty inside. Food varies based on specific event.
Banquet rooms are always clean and bathrooms are nice.

The 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver is the hub of social and fun activities for locals and tourists alike. It features both local businesses and tourist destinations, such as cafes, restaurants, stores, pubs, charming pavilions, shuttles, pedicabs and horse-drawn carriages.
I’m in love with this lovely vibrant street in Downtown Denver! The main street in Denver for shopping and flowing with the city life, offers a variety of shops and places to relax, bars, great restaurants, cinemas, galleries and more! When in Denver, you have to go there!

Great variety of restaurants and shopping. Be sure to ride the free buses up and down to get around. Union Station at the north end is great too! This Christmas season, there was an AMAZING lighted tree that was FREE and really fun (see videos attached). The only down side is there are quite a few panhandlers and others that may not make it very family friendly after about 6PM. Still, even they were pretty peaceful and didn't cause trouble.
Michael Young — Google review
The whole place is under construction. Still able to access the restaurants and stores off the street but the sheer amount of fencing and dirt kinda takes the funbuzz out of the feel of what was a festival lively hopping place. It’ll be great when it’s done, for sure, but what’s that timeline? Months? Year? More? Bummer.

We visited this place because we read that it was built by architect Pei, but to be honest it is not super impressive, and doesn’t look that interesting. Just a regular mall. In the front of the building, on the little square, there are tons of shady homeless, who make the visit very displeasing. Not that it’s the mall’s problem though…

16th Street Mall is very much like Nicollet Mall, downtown Minneapolis. Food, pedestrians, drinks, shopping and more.
I am not a fan that you cannot sit down anywhere, unless you pay. You have to go to a restaurant. Almost all outdoor Mall seating is gone to try and curb the homelessness and drug problems. The seating that is there is like a trap. I wasn't even sitting down when I had a security guard approach me telling me I needed to leave. Ok, sure. Why? And, I did.
I didn't mention that all I was doing was putting my gloves in my bag.
I'll keep going back when I am craving Caribou Coffee, Sam's or amazing Pho.

They have the pavers started on block 2 , so it's progress. There's lots of construction on the blocks for the 16th st mall project, but you can still access all the shops, and parking was never easy anyways but theres a couple parking garages that are reasonable one on stout and one on champa. The free ride drives along 15th and 17th instead of 16th while under construction. 15th to go west or north and 17th to go south or east. There's bus stops along the roads. Sam's is great to eat at but my favorite is the Blessed BBQ on welton it's fantastic, he's got the best brisket Ive ever ate. Ikes sandwich shop is awesome too on Curtis. Just be careful of traffic and construction going on. It's gonna get better down there, one block at a time. But support the shops that decided to tough it out thru the construction. They are troopers.

The 16th Street Mall is a rather interesting study in modern retail mall space. Management obviously invests heavily in keeping the property clean & curb appeal high.
However, at the same time, there is signage --but very clean & well maintained signage-- for stores which are no longer present in the mall.
All of the restaurants we visited were very clean & appeared well managed.
There are several smaller, non-chain stores which offer interesting merchandise -- definitely worth a look inside.
Also, mall security is very visible & doing a great job of addressing potential problems before they can fester into nasty situations.
All in all, a nice area to relax & spend some time.

Definitely not the place to visit. Maybe the locals might know something but I don’t understand what is the appeal. Street looks totally empty, mostly homeless people, construction everywhere, a few bars, restaurants, retail stores and that’s it. I don’t understand why when I put in the top places to visit on google search, every website recommends this place as the top location to visit. Absolutely not the image I would like tourists to remember of Denver.

The 16th Street Mall area in downtown Denver is still not back to where it's was at 3 years after Covid. This area was really great and still can be, but there are a bunch of empty storefronts and lots of homeless wandering around the neighborhood. Something needs to change......

2023-Dec. Lots of construction going on. Lots of stores have closed. There are lots of less unfortunate people living in the streets walking around, but they don't bother you. The free mall ride detoured through adjacent streets due to the construction. See photos for detour map.

Coors Field is the home of the Colorado Rockies, a Major League Baseball team that plays in downtown Denver. The stadium features nostalgic feel combined with state-of-the-art technology, making it one of the premier ballparks in all of baseball. Got tickets to go to the Rockies vs the Reds... it was a great game .. the process for the tickets was super easy and Coors field was great .. suoer clean and nothing but professional from all the workers to the Concessions.. the prices were not to bad . First time at Coors field and was not disappointed! Seats are comfortable and plenty of leg room for a 6 foot person. Food was great..team store was clean and organized. ♿️ parking was great with plenty of spots and greatly appreciated located in lot A/B for those that need it. Be aware if you have not been there that levels 200's and 100's are on the same level for some. Signs are posted everywhere though which was great. Leaving the stadium they really control traffic well so your not sitting forever! As a disabled veteran and was there with 2 other veterans, appreciated the "hats off" in between the inning! Thank you for that honor to stand with my fellow veterans! Overall, great first experience and will definitely be back for more games.

I bought last minute tickets for my son and myself to see the Yanks play the Rockies. Ended up sitting in the second row. We had a great time. This isn't the fault of the Rockies of course, as it's mandated league wide, but the addition of the netting is quite distracting. I understand it's due to an increase in fan injuries. Most likely due to fans spending too much time on their phones and not enough time watching the game. Just something I noticed.
Other than that we had a great time. Top: go online ahead of time and purchase a parking pass. I bought one for $21 at a parking garage less than . 5 miles away. One less thing to worry about.

Beautiful baseball stadium in downtown Denver. This stadium is a few blocks away from Union Station and easy to walk to. So many restaurants and bars nearby for a drink or two before or after the game. This stadium has some awesome views of the mountains off in the distance. A great selection of food to choose from, we tried several things from tacos, brats and the fried dough; everything was delicious!

This is a beautiful ballpark located in downtown Denver. It has some spectacular views. If you connote third deck row 20 all the seats up there are purple marking the mile high seats. They have wonderful views of the mountains. Also there is a great selection of food here. So much food options there was too many for me to try and not enough time to try them all. I have to say if you haven’t already try the Colorado rocky mountain oysters. They are not bad at all. You have to try them at least once.

An okay stadium. There's only one large screen for the stadium, so if you're sitting up top, forget about knowing what's going on, or seeing a replay, up close. Getting in wasn't too bad of a wait. The security folks were nice, as everyone was entering/exiting. The stadium was constructed in such a way that the majority of the stadium is in the sun while only the area near third base is in the shade -- PRO TIP: get tickets on the third base side if you want to be in the shade!!!

I really enjoyed my first game at Coors field. It was awesome! The seats in section 120 were great. We got lucky and the Rockies won the game and we also came during fan appreciation day and saw an amazing display of fireworks.

Despite being a baseball fan for almost 2 decades (2004) and Yankees being my favorite team since then, I never actually went to a baseball game in my life until last week. Despite the Dodgers and Angels being close to me, I never had the courage to actually attend a baseball game. So I decided to go to Coors Field while visiting Denver(for the first time as well) and I'm glad I did. It was a blast. It was a bit of a headache trying to find my seat, but I eventually found it. Friendly staff. Friendly people sitting next to me. Great game too! Rockies almost rallying on the bottom of the 9th was a great way to end the game. Much better to watch the game in person than TV that's for sure.
Unforgettable experience. I would attend again.

We came to the game on 7/1 to watch the Rockies play the St. Louis Cardinals. This was Nolan Arenado’s first game back in Colorado so it was nice to see him receive a well deserved ovation. This was only my second time here but I really love this ballpark. It is extremely well done and comes off as classic without being gimmicky.
The game day staff were extremely nice and helped assist us with questions. A fan behind us brought a towel to dry off his seat from an earlier rain shower and he let us use it as well. Even though we were dressed out for the Cardinals we had fun interactions with Rockies fans and everyone seemed happy to be at the ballpark.
We sat in the lower part of the upper deck behind home plate and I thought they were great seats. The seats along the first base line receive quite a bit of evening sun but they also have views of the mountains. Some concession stands offer a kids meal for $5 which is great for families. You can also bring in unopened non-alcoholic drinks which I would highly recommend. We caught a street vendor outside but there is also a 7-Eleven store on Blake street towards downtown nearby.
We walked up and down the 16th street pedestrian mall before and after the game to our downtown hotel. There are homeless people but we never felt unsafe despite the late hour. Coors Field is a great baseball stadium and a must see for anyone visiting Denver.

Coors Field is a true gem among ballparks. Ranked at #13 on my professional stadium tour, it comfortably earns a spot in my top 5. Despite being only 28 years old, it exudes the charm of an old-time ballpark. Everywhere you turn, you'll find nods to Rockies history, and the views are equally breathtaking. Coors Field excels in areas where other stadiums often fall short; the food is both delicious and reasonably priced, ensuring that enjoying dinner at the game won't break the bank. Plus, the free parking lot shuttle is a fantastic perk. Although parking comes at a cost, having a shuttle option is perfect for those who prefer not to walk or have children in tow. All in all, Coors Field is a treasure in Denver that deserves a visit from both diehard baseball fans and casual enthusiasts alike.

One of the most beautiful stadiums in all of major league baseball. Very conveniently located in downtown Denver and easy to get to whether you’re downtown or coming off of the interstate. Lots of great food, craft, beer, and incredible Colorado weather to watch a baseball game. The backdrop over the scoreboard and to the west is an incredible view of the Colorado mountains. This is especially awesome for a summer early evening game to watch the sunset. Very family oriented stadium and an overall great time.

Parked in lot B, not that bad of a walk. Dead center view bleacher style seats in this area. Not bad got a little sore after sitting for a while. The food and drinks is why it didn't get more stars. Hot dog bond fell apart and it was opening day. Draft beers were all foamy. Carnitas nachos were probably the best thing we had but we're salty. Pretzel bites hard. They should have their own draft beer made for the Baseball Club. Should have more selections of other kind of beers. We were entertained with the game

Ended up being a private tour with Phil, the lead tour from Coors field for the last 17yrs.
Learned a lot about the stadium, the team, the infrastructure and the staff.

Great value for the cost, set us back only ~$30 per ticket.

The Denver Union Station is a transportation hub in the heart of Downtown Denver that offers a wide variety of amenities including a couple of bars and restaurants, a big common area with comfortable seating, and a hotel attached. The historic landmark is worth a stop if you're in the area!
Large rail station with shops and restaurants; there is a lot of history around this building and we ended up coming her twice during our stay to wander around, people watch and just hang out. Plenty of people use the large sit down area inside to rest relax and recharge their phones and electronic devices. Several restaurants with entries from outside to eat at a few more expensive than others.

I love Union Station. If you go to other major metro/transit stations outside of the NE USA, they are dilapidated, grungy, and dangerous. I moved from Houston and their central metro hub was a joke. Denver's however is very well put together. The bus station is very nice, the transit platform is great, and the dining areas around are super cool. Most of the time I feel safe. Yes, there are some homeless down in the bus area and around Union station but they don't harm anyone 99% of the time. In addition, there's usually plenty of security so that helps. Plus I enjoy that it's a center spot for most of the city.

Union Station was our central hub for travel inside and outside of Denver. We used the A-Line to get from the airport to downtown. The ticket kiosks walked you through the purchase steps. Some of our friends had trouble but there were representatives around to help. It cost $10.50 one way.
At the end of our trip, we took the train back to the airport. The inside of Union Station is quite beautiful and relaxing. There are bathrooms, a bar, restaurants, a coffee shop, and a gift shop. I'm sure there's probably more I didn't see. Unfortunately, we were there at 6am and nothing was open.
There were no announcements about arriving/departing trains so you have to pay attention. Not sure if this was a fluke or not. The pews/benches have outlets on the sides so you can charge your devices while you want. This is a place that I could probably hang out and do work the next time I'm in Denver.

Love this place and the history. BUT the interior is completely under construction at the moment. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is a remarkable destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The park features stunning red-stone cliffs that provide excellent hiking and biking trails. In addition to the natural beauty, visitors can also enjoy a gift shop and cafe. The amphitheater hosts big-name acts, making it an ideal venue for concerts in the future. One can take advantage of the stairs that make up the amphitheater's seating area to get some exercise while enjoying breathtaking views from the top.
This was my first time in Denver Colorado. Everyone recommended this place and I will be the first to say... It was worth the visit! Such a beautiful scenery. No photo will do justice of the actual views you see in person, the views are so beautiful. Words can't even describe it completely! Highly recommend anyone to swing by and make a stop here while in Denver. Kid friendly place

This review is strictly from a hiking and outdoors perspective, not from a music perspective. We absolutely love this park, the hiking trails are nice and well maintained. The area is absolutely spectacular with not just the amphitheater, and surrounding area. The Red Rocks Amphitheater is also amazing, you have to climb the stairs at least once, it is harder than it looks. The trading post is also worth a stop. If you see one thing, explore the amphitheater. If you have more time try out some of the hiking trails for a more in depth and serene activity. Visiting after snow is also an amazing experience.

An amazing location with great acoustics. A great place for a concert but they also have events like films on the rocks and workout classes.
The views are worth the climb of hundreds of stairs to the top. Even if you don't come for an event you can just come for views and hiking other days. There is also a full restaurant that is open to the public.
The rows are nicely spaced so people can pass by you with out it being tight. Parking is a workout from were you park to the amphitheater. Be prepared for the climb.

I recently saw my first concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and it was amazing! The red rocks are stunning, and the acoustics are incredible. The sound of the music bounced off the rocks and filled the air, creating a truly immersive experience.
I had never been to a concert at Red Rocks before, and I was blown away by the beauty of the venue. The amphitheater is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The Denver skyline is also visible from the amphitheater, which adds to the overall beauty of the setting

Was visiting for the weekend and was taken here to see the snow. So pretty getting to see the contrast of the fresh snow on the red rocks and was a nice way to spend part of the day walking around the amphitheater in the snow.
Haven't had a chance to visit for a show yet, but definitely recommend exploring in the snow if you have the opportunity to do so.

Wow what a venue. Was fortunate enough that my friend took me here when in the area. Just hiked area the place. Was a blast. What a unique venue. Loved that they allow you to check out the place during the day . The museum was a lot of fun so much cool stuff has gone down here over the years. Looking forward to coming back for a show.

What a beautiful location! We spent several hours there one afternoon.
We first drove up to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It wasn’t busy, so we found plenty of parking in the upper north lot. There is some parking right by the Amphitheatre itself, but it is limited and you may just end up driving back down.
The setting is wonderful. They were preparing for the Easter sunrise service, but you could still walk the area. We then toured the Visitor Center. It was interesting to see the number of performers who have made an appearance over the years.
I wish I had thought about eating there since we arrived just after 12:30. The prices seemed reasonable for lunch, so we’ll have to try that another time.
We then drove down to the Trading Post. It’s basically a gift shop. It also includes the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, but we didn’t look at that. The place had a nice variety of gifts, particularly clothing, but be prepared: it is expensive.
From there we decided to hike the Trading Post Trail. The sign says it is 1.4 miles long, and it goes in a loop. It took us about 1 hour for us to complete it. The views are incredible along the trail, and I’d highly recommend it.
A note about the trail. If you are facing the Trading Post and go to the left, the trail feels like a more gradual descent. If you go right, there are more steep steps. So you can decide how you want to finish the route if take the full loop.
As for restrooms, we found a number of portable toilets. However, if you like a nicer restroom, we found them at the base of the stage, up by the Visitor Center and behind the Trading Post.
Enjoy your trip to Red Rocks!

Probably the best venue to catch a concert at. Really enjoyed the show I got to catch this year. I would recommend you go for an all day event. See you in Red Rocks at night is awesome. I was seated towards the front and the eighth row and the sound was great upfront so I can imagine that the sound in the back was just as good. Definitely a place that I would like to visit again

I’m not much of a concert goer, but coming here literally had me in tears it’s so beautiful. You can come in for free when no concerts or events are happening and we got lucky enough to come in on a beautiful day when the concert that evening was doing a free run through and got to experience the magnificence of this amphitheater.
All I can say is, it was borderline life changing. I will go back to a formal event here and I don’t know if any other performance venue can ever compete with this place.
Also, lots of great trails around that are amazing as well. A must see!

This venue is so beautiful and just an amazing experience. You can bring in sealed water bottles or sodas and small bags of snacks. I highly recommend bringing a poncho and a small blanket or cushion to sit on. The views and sound is amazing! We also saw baby raccoons near the entrance.

Beautiful! We got there early on a Sunday, like 9am, and we managed to get a spot at the top parking area. It was such a fun experience walking around, seeing the rock formations, and enjoying the morning. There was a large group working out there in the seating area of the amphitheater, which was neat. We walked the short trail that goes by the trading post and we also walked through the visitors center- it was small but really well done! Both our kids (11 and 8) enjoyed the experience, but they struggled a little on all the stairs as it warmed up! Overall, it was such a great excursion in Denver and I’m so happy we made time to check it out!

Most memorable concert ever! I've been to many venues and this by far was the best. Make sure you are able to walk up and down hills and stairs. Our seats were actually a lot closer to the stage, but we were happy sitting in general admission up top.

one of the most beautiful and incredible places I have ever visited in the United States. It has a wonderful view, is 20 minutes from Denver, easy access, has parking, trails, family atmosphere, great for going with friends, family or alone. Take your camera because I guarantee you will take great photos. the energy of the place is incredible. I highly recommend it 10/10

I went during the day to check it out. I wasn’t aware you could visit outside of an event until someone told me. I was there in late March on the day of the first concert of the season. It was a fun experience just to walk around and see what it’s all about! The scenery is amazing and it’s a great way to spend a bit of time, especially if the weather is nice.

This place is pretty awesome. I stopped by during a visit to Denver as I was keen to see it. There was no show unfortunately (definitely a bucket list worthy venue to watch a concert for the future) but there are trails to explore in the area and also run up and down the steps that make up the amphitheater - that’s is a hard slog. The views are pretty spectacular from the top. There is a mini museum that focuses on the geology as well as the various music concerts that have taken place. Worth the visit.

Wow what a location. It's now on my bucket list of places to see a concert. With stunning views and fantastic trails for hiking. Really enjoyed watching the people exercising at the amphitheater. This place has had the the who's who in music play to the masses. Can't wait to go back.

The venue is stunning but there is considerable effort required to experience this beautiful venue. Firstly, elevation. The venue is over 6,000 feet in elevation. Professional athletes need time to acclimate and so will you. Multiple steps and ramps are required to get you to your seat. Stay hydrated, plan ahead, and take your time. Secondly, this is an uncovered outdoor venue. Be prepared. Check the weather, pack and dress accordingly. The seat space allocated on the bench is narrow. Bring a pad or blanket to sit on for comfort. Thirdly, enjoy yourself! You're at an amazing venue enjoying wonderful entertainment! This venue demands extra work, both physically and mentally, but it is worth it!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the Denver area. The natural beauty of the park is breathtaking, and the outdoor amphitheater is a unique and memorable experience. While the climb to the top can be challenging, the views are well worth the effort. Visitors should be aware that the park can get crowded during peak times, and food options are limited. However, the park's natural trails and scenic views make it a great destination for hiking and outdoor activities.

A must for any music lover or anyone who want to have a musical experience unlike any other.
Get there early for a good parking spot if you are attending a show and be prepared to walk a bit. It was not hard to get in or out of there so don’t let the parking scare you off.
You can go check it out without seeing a show, just check the website for times. Check out the music hall of fame inside the trading post! Very cool stuff!

Does it even need to be said?? Red Rocks is amazing. I'll never forget my first time visiting here, nor my first concert experience here. Amazing acoustics, there really isn't a bad seat in the house!
Beware that if you are coming from lower elevation, there is a lot of walking involved, and the elevation is no joke! If you can park in the upper parking lot, there will be less uphill walking involved, but it may take a bit longer to exit after the show. Please come hydrated and take the steps slow. They will get your heart rate up more than you might think!
I've seen several concerts here now and all were phenomenal! We have also attended a movie showing for Dune and it was the perfect setting and a lot of fun. People will come pretty early and tailgate/hang out in the parking lots, so feel free to do that before your show. Sometimes they have free sodas for Designated Drivers up at the top by the restaurants, which I've been grateful for!
Food & drinks are pricey as usual, but have been tasty when we've gotten them. The attached restaurant is actually really good if you want dinner before your show!! (You can bring in unopened alcoholic drinks & snacks in a gallon Ziploc to most shows too, just FYI!) I'd recommend bringing a rain jacket or poncho as Morrison can get random weather, as well as a seat cushion or blankets since you will just be sitting on the hard wooden bench. I love that the incline means there is not usually anyone blocking your view!

Please don't visit Denver and not go to Red Rock Park. The rock formations, colors and the amphitheater is AMAZING!!! We walked around and was in awe of the splendor of God's work.
Trust me, make some time to go and spend a few hours enjoying God's creation.
We have decided we will come back, as they have great shows here. We have been told by locals we will never enjoy a show the same. The acoustics are wonderful!! They have a sunrise Easter service we were told is amazing and full.

Absolutely stunning mountain venue that’s medium in size. You feel nestled in between the two rocks and the view of the valley is amazing. There really is no other venue on earth like Red Rocks. It’s extremely special. ✨👌✨
Cons:
This venue is not ideal for those with walking issues. You will walk a lot on cement steps that are both large and small and will stand for many hours. If you have a broken leg, bad hips, a bad back, or any other alignments like that, please heal before attending a concert. It won’t be fun for you as the stairs are unavoidable.
There is also very little coverage if the weather turns sour. It’s rain or shine, so plan accordingly and always bring a good rain jacket (no umbrellas allowed). I’ve stood at RR for 6 hours in the pouring rain and was absolutely soaking after the show. Not my favorite thing to do to be honest.
Lastly, since the pandemic RR has become a lot more commercialized. It used to be a local venue and now it’s outnumber with tourists. Prices have skyrocketed and it’s now very crowded. Long gone are the days (2019 and before) when RR tickets used to be $40-$50 dollars and you could buy them the week of the event. Now tickets are on average $75-$150+ a piece and sell out instantly online. RIP old Red Rocks. You were fun while you lasted.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is my favorite place to go hiking. It's located in Morrison, Colorado nestled up against the Foothills in Jefferson County (Jeffco). The Red Rocks are amazing to see. The Amphitheatre is a nice size. They have parking at the top of the Amphitheatre and there is a lot of parking at the bottom of it as well.
We normally take the hiking trail that is behind the trading post at the bottom of the Amphitheatre. It takes us about an hour to complete the loop.
I highly recommend going here if you are into hiking.
I've never seen a concert here yet but I have seen that it is listed in many articles as one of the Worlds top concert venues that performers love to perform at.

Such an amazing place to visit and home around. The views were spectacular. There was parking nearby but it still required a bit of a hike to get to the amphitheater. We visited when there wasn't a concert or show, but you could tell that it would be an amazing place to see your favorite band.
We also went hiking up Red Rocks Trail to Dalton's point to see the full moon rise over the city of Denver. It was a beautiful place. It's a good idea to bring headlamps if you're planning on night hiking. There was still some snow and ice on the trail and a few spots were a little slick. But the hike was amazing and we timed it just right to see the moon rise. It's a must see.

While I was unable to attend a concert here, I am so glad I went out of my way to see this impressive venue. Red Rocks is absolutely a must see for anyone visiting Denver! Parking was simple and I was able to walk the paths into the amphitheater, taking photos along the way and even on the stage.
The information available online was a bit confusing and I was concerned that it was going to be closed when I arrived at nearly 5PM, but it was not and does not appear to close to visitors during daylight hours.
The restrooms at the visitors center were a welcome surprise and were well kept.

We went in march and it was fun. Really cool to see it in person finally. Parking was kind of far from the entrance due to construction or snow or all of the above and it was quite a workout just to see the amphitheater. Definitely worth it at least once.

Absolutely outstanding location… the view is absolutely beautiful up there. But please know it’s not for the faint of heart walking up the auditorium stairs to get to the top. But when you are at the top the Visitors Center, stop there for the museum. The museum for the Amphitheater showcases the artists who have performed over the decades… great list of performers. The view is also great back there. And before you take your self off the mountain you have to stop at the shop on the way down… I can’t say it enough… the view the view the view… so good. And it doesn’t hurt to buy a souvenir to remember your trip.

What is there to say about this iconic venue that hasn’t been said before? I came here to view the sunrise with a colleague and, having only seen photos, was excited to visit. I was blown away by the natural beauty and the perfect orientation to the east for an unforgettable sunrise experience! Note that if you are sensitive to the low oxygen, be weary of the long flights of stairs to climb to get up to the top of the amphitheater.
I did not have a chance to see a concert here but will be back for one soon!

Red Rocks Park and amphitheatre are a must see. It's free to enter in the morning when there are no events or if you want to hike the surrounding trails, you're more than able to. It was cool to see that they have a little rock n roll hall of Fame building nearby.
We visited the amphitheatre on a Saturday morning and there are a lot of people that like to workout within the rows of steps there. Great people watching there. Great hiking trails that are free surrounding Red Rocks.
Retail mainstay stocking a huge inventory of hunting, fishing & camping supplies, plus boats & ATVs.
What more can I say other then we love you Cabela's they always have what I need when I need it. Lucky they just lifted the limits on 5.56 and 223. So I got as many as I could carry. Picked up a solid range bag can't wait for my first load out to give it a shot.

I would highly advise staying away from this store for hunting and gun needs. You will wait for 45 minutes just to have an employee ask what you need. I tried to get help and was rudely talked back to by “Dan”, an employee behind the counter in the gun department, about how busy he is with his one customer. If you can’t handle customers, maybe don’t work in customer service Dan. You prick. I’ll honestly drive 30 minutes away to Bass pro in Central Park just to have a good experience. This Cabela’s sucks, which is really unfortunate because they have had plenty of time to get things together and properly staff their departments.

The store itself is awesome. I went in today for the first time and they have a good selection of pretty much everything. There was a bunch of staff floating around except where we needed them which is my biggest concern and issue with our visit today. We went in to look at some guns and ammo. We walked around the counters and the gun library for about 20 minutes and none of the several employees greeted or offered any assistance. We kept browsing and noticed a QR code to scan in order to join a queue to be assisted. We added ourselves to that and proceeded to wait another 30 minutes without anyone calling our name or asking if we needed help despite the online queue saying we were coming up and to stick around the gun counter. We ended up leaving after waiting for about an hour all together which was a huge bummer because there were several handguns we were interested in.

There’s a reason online shopping has become more popular and this store is a prime
Example of that. Little to no inventory besides one size fits all items. Little to no staff. Don’t walk too far in the back or you’ll get verbally assaulted by random people selling vacations. Doesn’t seem like the business is doing all that great if you have to have another business inside selling what is basically the in person spam version of high pressured vacation sales. You should not let people harass your customers. They also pretended to be staff so when we were looking for something they said “yeah we work here” then proceeded to give the sales pitch. Very annoying when you’re trying to find someone who actually works there. If you need help on the floor maybe the 5 to 6 people working in the gun library could be dispersed into the actual store. Just an idea…
I’d would take an insane blow out sale for me to ever want to come back to this store as there is no one to really help and no items in stock to buy.
Definitely recommend going online verse in store because even if you wanted to try on items you’re interested in. Chances are it’s not an option. If you need guns or fishing poles, plenty of those in stock. Most other items, good luck.

Evergreen Lake is a popular spot for outdoor recreation, particularly trout fishing, picnicking and boating. The area features a short hiking trail that is easy to navigate and offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding trees. In October, the colors of the leaves are especially striking. During winter, visitors can enjoy walking on ice or partaking in other winter activities. Evergreen Lake also boasts beautiful scenery during spring and summer months with temperatures that make for an enjoyable visit year-round.
A small lake in the Rocky Mountains valley. The view around this place is mind blowing. They have a nice trail around this lake and plenty of open space for your kids to enjoy and play around. If you like fishing i would definitely recommend this place. It’s a easy drive from Denver highly recommend. The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave is a museum dedicated to the life of American cowboy and Indian Showman William Cody. The museum contains exhibits about Cody's life as a buffalo hunter, showman, and Medal of Honor recipient, as well as his later life as a memorial to him atop Lookout Mountain. The gift shop features items related to Cody's career, including clothing and memorabilia from his Wild West shows.
I was so impressed with the collection of memorabilia at the Buffalo Bill Museum. I especially loved the well-done video which taught so much about him and his life. What a talented and progressive man he was! The "Lavatory Stories" were a great touch!

This was an excellent museum that contained the personal belongings of William Cody along with a vast display of posters for his various performances. The film of his life story was excellent and recently updated. The museum presented a balanced view of his extensive career and was very well laid out. Very educational for all ages. He was forward thinking pro-women’s rights and pro-native American rights. With his successes came failures which were accurately described. There is a lunch place and gift shop next door. The grave is beautifully preserved and of course the panoramic view from Lookout Mountain is amazing. There is a lot to absorb so give yourself time to really explore the exhibits.

What a wonderful walk back into history. The museum is a wonderful 1st class facility full of so much information. Then when you step outside, The view is stunningly Beautiful. It takes your breath away. And I don't mean High elevation 😁 wise. Between the observation deck looking down on Denver and being surrounded by the Mountains 🏔️. And if that's not enough, go to the restaurant and grab a Bison burger or a bowl of Bison chili, and finish that with some Ice cream. After you have enjoyed all of that, I then suggest walking into the awesome gift shop. Finally when you walk out of the gift shop take the small hike up to Buffalo Bills Gravesite.
What a wonderful time we had.

We were going to take some hiking lookout mountain trails but we stopped here first and we walked up. It's a small walk up a hill and you see Buffalo Bill's grave and you find out a little bit about him and who he was what he did. There is a quaint little shop at the bottom of the hill that we really enjoy going through. Bought some stuff there. It is a museum but it wasn't opened at that time so we didn't go in there, but did we walk around the area? And we're saw some pretty good lookout spots. Very nice. Without the museum I took about 45 minutes to walk around and look at everything

Really enjoyed our visit! You'll want to spend at least an hour looking through the exhibits - a lot of historical Buffalo Bill items. But would start with the short video presentation that nicely outlines his somewhat complex life. A very nice gift shop, packed with a lot of souvenir items, but at reasonable prices.

Look out mountain and Buffalo Bills Grave and Museum Golden Colorado
Museum is Free:
THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH, NOVEMBER THROUGH APRIL!
There’s plenty to see and do
An extensive museum, the grave site, picnic area, trails and buffalo view are great.
The gift shop is really cool too.
If you like the Old West the Buffalo Bills Museum is a great one. I’ve also been to the one in LeClare Iowa.

The gentleman who checked us in was very memorable, funny and sweet. He took a genuine interest in making sure me and my husband enjoyed ourselves.
Don't skip the movie! It's only 20min and if full of wonderful information.
There isna short walk to the grave site and it has beautiful views.

What a cool thing to stumble upon. I had no idea this was here, and saw the sign as we were driving up to the Georgetown Mines. So on the way back I had suggested a detour to stop and see one of the most famous wild west men to ever live. His story is super fascinating and they have alot of really great artifacts of his. I highly recommend the stop. The museum is only five dollars, and really something you can't pass up at that price. It is not huge, I think it took me about 20 min to see each exhibit and read the signs and stuff, it could have been longer if I had watched the movies. They also have a cool spot for the kids to dress up in wild west outfits and get pictures taken.

Really enjoyed the Buffalo Bill Museum free day! I went in with minimal knowledge about this man (My companion laughed at me for thinking it was going to be about the NFL… 😂). Loved learning about this cool guy. Would recommend to anyone!

Small and informative, awesome stop if you’re in golden. It can oversee the town but make sure to watch the 20 min video. It’s crazy to think buffalo bill did all this a little over a 100 years ago.

Great views from the top of the mountain. No wonder Buffalo Bill wanted this to be his resting place. Very well kept, clean and well lit, signage throughout. Short walk up the hill to the grave. Nice gift shop with great gift ideas and handmade items. A small cafe. A great museum with a great story. I would highly recommend?

A lot of fun! It was a beautiful drive up the mountain and a great view! In the museum, there was a lot of cool info on Buffalo Bill and his life and impact. Lots of really cool artifacts and the video was cool! The kid area was well done and would be great for kids of all ages.

Definitely make this stop while you're driving over Lookout mountain on the Lariat loop! A very short walk to the ornate gravesite of the famous Buffalo Bill - includes scenic views from the parking lot, informative signs, and a full gift shop with a small cafe that serves some food and beverages! There is an option to walk on trails that connect to Lookout Mountain Park as well.

Didn’t know anything going in, and while the museum is small it packed a lot of information in and I learned a lot. On top of that, amazing views from lookout mountain and a fun gift shop as well. A worthy tourist spot even though the whole process probably takes 45 minutes at most.

Lived out here for almost 37 years, and have never been up here to see this place. There’s not much to look at it. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all. There’s a mini food court and a museum that you have to pay to go into. Overall, it was a quick trip that we stayed for less than a 30 mins to look at.

Really awesome. A must for anybody like likes history or the old west. The drive up was fun, awesome views, gift shop, grave and the exhibits are amazing. Very affordable to get in and I spent several hours here. Best 5 bucks I've spent in a while.

Lookout Mountain, a 7,377m-high peak located in Lookout Mountain Park, boasts stunning views of Denver and is home to the final resting place of Buffalo Bill. While it may be considered a foothill of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, this majestic mountain offers an abundance of hiking trails and fascinating attractions that make it hard to miss when visiting Golden. The 110-acre park provides visitors with interactive exhibits and opportunities to reconnect with nature.
Beautiful views here. As mentioned by the signs, you can see four states here on a clear day. Worth the short drive up the mountain. We also enjoyed the Buffalo Bill museum, and some hot cocoa. A lovely place to visit.

Came here to do some hiking. It was the beginning of March. We did find some signs to find some trailheads, we started down a few and then they turned to ice and nobody had yak tracks so we didn't get to go very far on any of the trails. It was a very pretty spot. There were some places to look out over the valley.

Lookout Mountain is always a nice place to take a hike with family and/or friends. You can also have a picnic or barbeque here, but check with park services beforehand. It is somewhat busy on weekends with many locals and travelers around. Every once and a while you may catch a nice car in the parking lot.

Views of mountains- snow capped, rocky, and prairie looking. Can see city views too. You can see as far as your eyes will let you. When we were there today, hang gliders soared over the clearings! We took a mountain road up and a mountain road down…..no comparison to the main highway. The views are breathtaking if you dare look out the windows to the sides. 😵. I did a lot of holding on and eyes closed!

Beautiful views of Colorado, even in the winter! Huge parkinglot and very nice gift shop that has just about any kind of souvenirs. Food items, snacks, and home made fudge. Women's restroom is inside but the men's is outside and seems to have been locked, so definitely hit up a restroom before coming here.

One of the most beautiful and breath-taking views I have EVER seen! Absolutely gorgeous. Going up the mountain I certainly felt the difference in heart rate and breathing but upon stepping out of the car for fresh air it began to calm. The air feels softer here. The trail is amazing all the way around. Wonderful sights to see when the snow is melting down. The parking areas are small spaced but available every so often. Rest areas available quite frequent as well. Perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset or enjoy a nice picnic in the outdoors.

Oh, I think the major issue is that on the times that people actually had to be able to go see it and when people are vacation is typically the weekend I get that they rent it out for wedding venues, but Truly would love to be able to see it without actually having to miss work. The crowns are beautiful plenty of parking. Easy to get to.

I have had the pleasure of photographing several elopements now at Lookout Mountain, in all seasons of the year! Whether it's summer and sunny, or 10 degrees and snow covered, this is such a breathtaking place to say 'I do'! We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful spot just minutes from downtown Denver, with wide open mountain views, beautiful groves of trees, and wonderful hiking trails. If you are planning an intimate elopement, you can't go wrong here!

If you have an hour to spare, and you were visiting near Golden Colorado… You must go up here! It's not that far of a drive, just passed the Coors brewery, maybe about 20 minutes up… And you'll come across one hell of a view! Buffalo Bills museum, and him, and his wife's burial site. An awesome little store with numerous souvenirs to purchase, a delicious, buffalo burger joint, and really wholesome friendly staff. But you don't have to take my word for it… Get up there and check it out for yourself. Safe travels.

Gorgeous!! Decently clean bathrooms as well. To my understanding this area technically needed a separate day pass, but it was worth it to be able to go walk towards the overlook and spend some time at the lake. Be aware of changing weather, especially if your permit time is for the afternoon. Enjoy!
*Pictures from end of June!

You cannot drive up to MT Evans past labor day! You can only make a reservation for the Lake itself. You can climb the ridge and we tried but had to do too many scrambles so we came back down. The views were gorgeous though looking out.
I do encourage people to climb the MT Evans trail at least until you get to the mail box up there or whatever it was. You pass these two like windows into the valley that are pretty. I'm not sure how to call them. I have a photo of what I mean attached.
It is really pretty up here and there are mountain creatures all over the place! So keep an eye out for them.
Heads upr reservations are $12 dollars. I do wish the trail to mount Evens was better marked that is the only thing I would wish for this place.

It was amazing, yet terrifying drive. It's a 14er so if you haven't been that high up, take it easy. I probably needed some canned oxygen since I got a bit of altitude sickness up there but they are right, drink lots of water and take it easy.
I went mid June and roads were clear, snow melting so watch out for standing water. Animals are out eating so drive slowly. Summit Lake is beautiful.
There is a path that is packed gravel so those in scooters and maybe electric wheelchairs would be okay on dry days. Manual wheelchairs might find the path too hard, but each person needs to make that determination. I was in a heavy duty scooter and got most of the way down the path until it got a bit too steep for my comfort. There are wheelchair accessible restrooms although there is a good sized concrete hump to get to the door so you might need help even in a scooter.
Again, no regrets. Must see.

Summit Lake Park is absolutely stunning. You can go as far as you want and no matter the distance will be met with gorgeous views.
The drive to Summit Lake Park can be windy and have quite the turns. Take your time and just enjoy the views. If there are turn-offs I recommend using them to take a moment to snap beautiful photos.
This place is dog friendly but please be respectful of the wildlife. This is their home and we are just visitors.

A breath taking natural artifact place that MUST visit again with my loved ones.
The City of Longmont Museum is a small but impressive museum that showcases diverse exhibits with a regional focus on history and art. The museum offers all-ages interactive programs, including activities for children, classrooms, an auditorium and office space. One-half of the museum's space is dedicated to these facilities while the other half displays interesting artifacts from local history. The collection includes an intriguing picture in their history section that resembles Yoda from Star Wars.
A really well-done history museum with interesting displays and a clear narrative. And there are lots of old-school interactive elements that are great for kids. (I liked the one where you divert water to where it needs to go.)
The "Duality" gallery curated by Gregg Deal is really amazing - contemporary works by indigenous artists. Definitely a must-see. Then for kids, there is a treehouse play area up in the tower that's a lot of fun and had great views.

This thoroughly modern museum and cultural center provides an engaging multi-media look at life on the high plains, just 35 miles north of Denver. It covers all bases, from the Plains indigenous people, the agricultural boom of the 19th to mid- 20th centuries and the role of factories and railroad. The challenges faced by Hispanic/Latino residents and workers, WW1 and WW2 are acknowledged, along with local “low-riders.” A knowledgeable local staff and archives are on-site to assist. COVID safety was observed (as of Aug. 2021)

What a really cool camp called Surviving in the West. Z learned how to make a fire (with bow drill, flint and matches), shelter, spear making, crawdaddy fishing, made a drum, made yarn out of Alpaca, made root beer, ice cream and butter. Also met new and old friends.
Now I know he can survive in the wild or go on the show Survivor. 😂

Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is a popular gambling destination with two floors of slots and table games. The hotel rooms are clean and offer nice views, with the option for pick-up orders from the 24/7 restaurant. The pool area features three hot tubs and a poolside bar, although it can get crowded during peak times. Guests enjoy the casino atmosphere and free drinks while gambling, as well as the convenience of self-parking.
We spent a few days here for my birthday, and had such a great time. I can’t wait to come back. There’s so much to do in one place, you don’t even have to leave the casino to enjoy yourself.
We had a beautiful mountain view from our very CLEAN room, spacious shower with bench. It was quiet, and we couldn’t hear the people in rooms around us. The 24/7 restaurant does pick-up orders if you want to bring food back to your room. We loved the buffet, though I wish they had a different price for people who don’t eat seafood. Free Tesla charging in the garage for guests.
The cons: The drink service in the casino was disappointing. It was my birthday, and in the many many hours we gambled over 2 nights, with money constantly in the machines, we were only approached by a cocktail waitress one time for a single drink each. We tipped well, but didn’t see another waitress the whole night. They also wouldn’t let us use a luggage cart to bring our own luggage up. They kept insisting to use the bell hop. So we had to carry our heavy stuff from the garage to our room, which was a pretty long walk. Lastly, I would’ve loved to have a microwave in the room.
I still highly recommend, and can’t wait to return😄

So while the rooms are decent sizes and fairly clean I am begging to wonder how much cleaning hose keeping is doing these days. Our stay this weekend was met but a fairly large wad of gum prominent stuck to the shower wall at eye height. For reference I’m 5’3”. It also had hair stuck to it. There was hair on the shower seat and laying at the drain. How much attention do you have to be paying as housekeeping to see this. Unless you aren’t paying any attention at all and only doing thee bare minimum.
They placated us with a new room which on the surface seemed to be cleaner but the small side table was gross with some weird substance smeared in different areas. While there was no gum stuck to the shower walls and the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all displayed nicely in front of a rolled hand towel; the bottle of body wash was nearly empty. Which leaves me to believe the person that stayed in the room before us used the shower and body wash and then left the bottles and towel neat looking and house keeping didn’t bother to check them. Ugh. I’m almost to a point where I want to request housekeeping clean my room when I first check in and change my sheets while I watch. Just so I can feel confident I am getting a clean and sanitized room before I get comfortable. 🤦🏾♀️

Great hotel, room was very nice. Love that you have to have room key to access your hotel floor with elevator. Great casino atmosphere, free drinks while gambling. Pool was nice, hot tubs were crowded and hardly any jets in them. Rooftop patio had great views to sit out and relax. Great location everything is within 15 minutes walking tops. Easy to navigate self parking. Would stay here again.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to this time. This is a great hotel experience. I wanted to especially mention the spa experience. As a 31 year old man I'd never had a massage before in my life. My girlfriend decided to schedule me a Swedish massage, and it was exceptional. Schedule a massage at the very least when you come here. Ask for Nora. Monarch, I don't know what you're paying her, but Nora needs a raise. Most professional.

Very dirty hotel. Towels are gross cups had stuff in it you could feel it. The furnace door in our room fell on me at 330 in the morning. I did get injured. No staff to talk to. You have to check yourself in and when it is time to check out, They turn your key off. A housekeeper walked in on me and my husband. Before checkout time. Just awful. I personally supervised my own housekeepers and my employees weren’t this lazy. Oh and I have it all on video all of it From the housekeeper walking in on us and the furnace metal door that fell on me. I was in pain all morning. And just wanted to go home. I didn’t sleep at all my leg was throbbing I just wanted to relax but no. I’m might go in the ER so it’s notated. Hopefully someone reaches out and makes this right. My insurance will know it happened on their property.
Update I called and reported everything the next day after we checked out. No one has bothered to contact me back.
Just sitting in the Er right now 238pm Mon. Waiting on x ray results.
its Thursday and nobody from this casino has reached back out.

Anniversary get away booked. The room was awesome, comfortable but everything else was bad.
Food was all over cooked, every item of 3 meals was burnt. Even the pancakes.
Our nice anniversary dinner- reservation for 8:30. Clear when we got there at 8:15 we were not being seated on time. At 9:00 we were offered a laughably small bar table as no dining table would be ready until 9:30.
Then the bread has onion In it (allergic ) the steaks were somehow 85% peppercorns fused into the shape of steaks. Order that 20$ baked potato to give yourself a palate cleanse between fork fulls of pepper.
The wait staff was doing their best but the whole hotel was clearly VERY understaffed. The casino staff were all over worked, don’t expect drinks at the table or friendly dealers.

Wow! My husband and I stayed here when our flight got cancelled last winter. This resort was truly magical and very romantic. The views are spectacular, it really made me fall even more in love with Colorado. The breath taking beauty of the mountains throughout the whole resort was so lovely and inspiring. The rooms are very clean and great for a getaway. Love there’s a casino too! The casino was so much fun and the dealers really make the tables shine and lively. This is one of the few resort casinos that I truly miss my time here and think about often, it felt like a home away from home by how nice every staff member and guests were at monarch. The breakfast was delicious, wide variety, and kept us full for our day of travel. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Monarch and cannot wait to come back in the spring and enjoy a stay in the suites while trying our luck at the casino!

I would love to say after spending 1k in one day here it was a five star experience but it just wasn’t. The rooms 5/5.
Now for all the cons: employees are rude and unwilling to help, also totally clueless. Do NOT go here knowing nothing about gambling, free drinks while gambling are non existent. If you want the “free” buffet when you arrive just spend the $58 to get in instead of spending $700 to earn it via gambling.
My husband doesn’t look like the typical American white man, so we got different treatment than the people around us.
Food at the bistro was delicious and restaurant was nice, BUT they were giving away free samples away of horchata to everyone sitting at the bar. They ignored us and skipped over us so my husband decided to ask if we could have a sample as well. Then they proceeded to put it on our bill, even though everyone else was offered a free sample. The LACK of respect we received here was unacceptable.
The atmosphere and the people it draws in honestly just sucks. So if you or your spouse don’t look like a typical American than I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. The employees here do not understand all money spends the same.

Very nice remodel on this hotel. Everything felt new and clean. We didn't make it in the pool, but it looked like everyone was having fun. We ate at the 24 hour restaurant and I thought the food was good. The spa options were pretty pricey and booked solid, so that didn't happen. The casino was fine, they have craps and a poker room.

We stayed here for my first time in Blackhawk. Loved every minute of it. I'm not much of a gambler, so I can't talk too much about the games. However, the whole place was clean and well kept. Our room was very nice with comfy beds, a great shower, and a gorgeous view. The buffet they had here was expensive, which was expected, and the food there was phenomenal. We also tried a couple of other restaurants here, and they were all excellent with friendly staff. Overall, it was a great experience, and we can't wait to go back.

We booked and paid for our reservation weeks before coming for our anniversary. Check in day was a special occasion so we picked a city view. We knew the mountain would be dark at night and offer little viewing. When we landed we called to ensure everything was set and I was told no worries. When we arrived we were told they overbooked and our room had been given away. Don't worry we will give you a nice upgrade is what he said. The downgrade was a room with a dark mountain view and access to club level. My original room came with club level access but even if it had not it wasn't a big deal since We aren't breakfast eaters. So we paid the original price for a completely downgraded experience and to be lied to and gaslight. When in Colorado I normally stay with Ameristar and I should have stuck with them.
Kyle — Google review
Rooms are nice. I wouldn't pay for the upgrade unless you plan on spending the whole time in the bathroom. Pool and the 3 hot tubs are very nice, I would recommend visiting them in the evening as during the morning (after 10 am) and day it can get crowded with people waiting to leave/check out. The pool side bar is nice to order a drink and the gentleman behind the counter is always very polite. Rooms and pool are very clean. We did encounter some patrons who brought their own alcohol and made a scene. Security promptly removed them. We ate at the buffet and many many times at the 24/7 restaurant, both are very delicious..not sure if the buffet is worth the price if you don't have comps imo. The private bar is nice on the 23rd floor but didn't spend much time in there, a private club would be nice just my opinion. The bar tenders in the main bar next the high roller slots can be rude, but usually provide quick service, the third floor offers a small bar and a large sport area with plenty of games or sports to watch. Nice place to stay. I don't recommend any kids at this or any casino, there is nothing for them to do. Pool also offers adult only hours which is amazing...

Stopped here to kill some time. What a mistake! Casino is not very big at all. Only a few of the popular slots and of course they were all taken. Signed up for a players card and the card didn't even work. Had to have it replaced immediately. Nobody was hitting on the machines here. Atmosphere was not very good either. Would not recommend at all to anyone!

It’s a casino, so there is still that general attitude from the staff that you have more boundaries than they have customer service skills. That being said, everything is worth the price tag and it’s a great time. If you aren’t a gambler, you can spend all day a night on the 23rd floor which has a great pool area and vast spa amenities.

Easily my favorite place to stay in Black Hawk! The rooms are always in amazing condition and the amenities are luxurious and beautiful. The pool stays open later for adults, which is ideal after a few hours in the casino. I've not yet tried the spa, however every time I have stayed it has always looked appealing!
The buffet was fresh and unique and delicious. The service was prompt and efficient. We also dined at the sit down restaurant located next to the Starbucks and had an amazing breakfast with an amazing server.
I recommend this place over any others in the area. Always a stay to remember!

This is a Great place! Modern aesthetic and the newest up-to-date machines and guest rooms. Monarch has pleasant staff in the majority of the areas, even the players club and cashiers are great and very friendly. It is a well know fact this is not usually the case. The restaurants have improved a great deal. 24/7 now has consistent tasty food. The pastries are uniquely yummy. The Buffet is extremely large with a price tag to match, little under $70, thank goodness for players club points and food comps. Guess it is up to the person whether it's worth it. Edit: I am happy to report that a very professional manager made this unfortunate visit right, leaving us with a much better impression. We understand that things happen sometimes and I appreciate that they took the opportunity to validate our concerns.
Leaving my original review below because I believe honest reviews help businesses improve. This hotel did that.
Such a disappointment. I would not recommend this place for anyone who expects even decent service.
We reported that the room was not in good condition. A problem with the drains in both the sink and shower caused standing water in bother and the smell of strong sewer gas.
Also, we requested that the room be cleaned - both using the light to indicated it was ready, and requesting at the front desk. The room was never cleaned and stocked. We had to request extra towels, because not enough were provided.
On the second time we reported that the room was not cleaned and the drain was not fixed, Heathers solution was to wave the resort fee.
This stay was not worth half of the price we paid for a premium room for three nights.
We are hoping that management will make this right before we leave tomorrow. As it stands, I strongly recommend that visitors try one of the many nearby options. Can’t really be worse.

Fantastic hotel! Well worth the money. Loved the outside hot tub on the roof looking at mountains. Food is expensive, but this hotel has it all! Service is wonderful, and I just can't say enough about the amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the hotel! Would definitely stay here again!!

The rooms are very nice! They are clean and big. Most employees were very helpful and friendly. The food was pretty good. I wish there were vending machines, or some areas we can get snacks late at night.

We didn’t stay here but visited to play the slots and have lunch. Beautiful casino, very modern and clean. Great variety of new and classic slot machines. We ate lunch at Twenty Four 7 restaurant and it was excellent! We will definitely be back!!

Nice casino but lost$100.00. Nice they have smoking areas just outside the main gambling halls. Ample free parking. Close to Georgetown. Wish I knew as then would have stayed at one of the casinos in Black Hawk. Very Clean restrooms. Did not stay here or eat at the restaurants. But did have fun for a few hours. Not been to the casinos for several years. Only go there when I have visitors from India or out of state.

I have been to Casino Several times in last few months. You lose it all. there are no hand pays. High Roller room you cannot win anything. I ate at Buffet last week. Prime rib was like shoe leather. Guy asked me for my receipt to get a lobster tail. It was on my table. I do not usally steal lobster tails.

This place is amazing. Beautiful on the inside. And the rooms are very spacious and very nice. Treat yourself. 24/7 restaurant has very good food. The waiters and waitresses are very nice. Please remember to tip. 2 levels of gambling. Free covered parking. I promise you will love this place. Remember they have a free shuttle that hits all of black hawk and central city. It is free. Please remember to top the drivers. Shuttle runs every 20 to 30 minutes.

We stayed the night March 18, this hotel casino is beautiful, pool area was amazing the pool was heated and the hot tubs were perfect. towels and water are provided and I love the adult only time.. we ate dinner and breakfast at the 24/7, service and food was great... my husband upgraded us and got the huge jacuzzi suite and unfortunately we were not able to use it because it was not cleaned and 2 scum rings were very obvious. As my husband filled out a comment card the only reply he received was I'm sorry... when you spend good money on a room that focuses on a jacuzzi tub it should be clean for your guests to use... the coffee station was sticky and trash was under the dresser... one of the sinks was also clogged and only one robe was provided... the bed was comfortable but when I woke up the next morning the sheet was pulled back from duvet and to my surprise there was a brown stain... not sure what it was and I wasn't trying to find out... when we checked out I made sure it was exposed so that hopefully it would be changed...please email me so that I can fwd the pictures to you..

We absolutely love the Monarch. Love that the 24/7 has vegan options. I like sitting at the bar abd playing poker on the machines. The bartenders are always so friendly. Even though I mostly order water, I always tip them out nicely because of their kindness.
I just love our trips up there.
The spa is also top notch. The ultimate in pampering.
My only complaint is the rooms don't offer bathtubs. Which when I get away, I love a nice tub. But also, not a deal breaker.

Great place to hang out for a day or two - don’t bring small children there is nothing for them to do. However for those that are old enough to enjoy what Monarch Casino has to offer it’s a no brainer to check it out.
The customer service is amazing- clean all the way around from front to back and top to bottom.
The machine options leave something for everyone.
Food and drinks were incredible.
Parking and access is incredible as well.
Valet service is top notch!

We had a wonderful time at the Monarch Casino Resort. As an older couple we were so impressed by the staff taking the time to help us navigate the new technology. The room was perfect, it was quiet and relaxing. The pool area was beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.
The only thing we would want is a few more water bottles in the room.

The casino and hotel are wonderfully clean & the staff are all friendly. My only issue is it's not very disability friendly, especially the ADA rooms. The door to my room was incredibly heavy with no way to hold it open. This made it very difficult to get in and out of my room. The outside doors also do not have automatic openers, making it difficult to independently get in and out of the casino. I understand the automatic openers would cost the casino, but something like a door stop or holder for the room would be extremely inexpensive and make a huge difference for disabled guests.
That being said the staff was all very kind & helpful, and the room was beautifully clean and had a lovely view. I just wish it had been easier for me to get in and out of my room, and in and out of the casino.

I never leave reviews but if you are considering going to the Monarch Spa DO IT! I’m an aesthetician so I have been to a lot of spas and Monarch Spa was by far the best I’ve been to - the amenities were amazing, the service was 10/10, everything was so beautiful. I saw Anthony for a 90 minute hot stone massage and it was one of the best massages I’ve had (if not the best). Worth every penny and worth the drive from Denver. Just had to leave my experience because I was looking around at spas to treat myself for my birthday and I’m so glad I chose the Monarch spa.

I recently stayed here and really enjoyed the massive room, complete with a free bottle of wine that made me feel like a tipsy royalty. The scenic drive to get to the hotel/casino was so beautiful, I almost forgot I was lost three times. The food was amazing—lo mein and fried rice that made my taste buds do a happy dance.
The poker room? Hands down the nicest poker room I've played in. I even lost my chips in style!

Some hippy in charge or ordering for food and beverage ruined the chicken wings at 24/7. They used to be amazing! Now they ordered cage free and they are tiny and burnt. Twelve wings used to be a full meal that was tough to finish and now it’s barely an appetizer. The price however has not changed, only the value. The rest of the casino is still nice though.

The hotel is clean and nicely appointed. The room was large and comfortable, and the food was pretty good. Buffet is a bit overpriced IMO, but breakfast at 24/7 was good, with good service. I do have a problem with the fact that, on a slow Monday afternoon, with probably hundreds of rooms ready and available, we had to pay an additional $50 to check in a couple of hours early. It's just another way of "nickel and diming" the customer with a completely unnecessary additional charge, and not okay at all. Most places we've stayed (and there are a lot of them!) never charge extra when they have rooms available, and it also lessens the lines at 4PM..."check in time...."
Janet Beaver — Google review
I initially felt reassured by Chris, a higher manager, who led me to believe that he could resolve the discrepancies with the hotel staff, particularly in ensuring the hotel manager received appreciation for positive feedback. However, the reality is quite different. The casino and the hotel's infrastructure are impressive, but the staff, especially the female manager, epitomize unprofessionalism. Despite the remarkable building, the staff and management exhibit attitudes akin to demons from hell, prioritizing their own interests and paychecks over providing an exceptional guest experience. It's evident they lack genuine commitment to making guests' stays truly enjoyable.

Everything about this resort-casino is wonderful. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. In fact the entire casino is clean and well kept. There is always an abundance of staff available throughout the hotel and casino to help with anything needed. We ate at all the restaurants/buffet/cafe at least once and all the food was wonderful no matter the time of day. I used the spa for a facial and wish I had booked more services. The prices are fair/competitive for resort pricing and the service was incredible. I only wish I had booked more services. There’s also access to complimentary private amenities in the spa area that were very relaxing and comfortable including a spa grotto. Lastly, I tend to get bored with gaming while my husband can go ALL day long, but I joined black jack and roulette tables for a night and it was so much fun! If you’re new to gaming just ask questions if you’re unsure and the other gamers and staff will help guide you. The blackjack tables we played were $25min and I don’t remember if there was a minimum for roulette but each bet was $1. Also, be sure to get the rewards card before you start playing so that you get credits toward extra play or free meals - Monarch does great benefits! Lastly we had a resort host, Phil, that checked in with us early on and was available if we needed anything which we didn’t but it was nice to know there was an actual person that would take my call if we needed anything. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and we will definitely be back!
CU Boulder is one of the oldest public universities in the United States, and its scenic campus is a major attraction for students. The university has produced Nobel laureates, MacArthur Fellows, and astronauts over the years. It's classified as an R1 University, which means it conducts the highest level of research. The Mahaffy Cache - ancient stone tools found in a Boulder backyard - is on display at this museum.
One of the most beautiful campuses I have visited. Spectacular landscape with mountains on the side, and the buildings are uniquely colored due to locally sourced limestone. Highly recommend for few hours to be spent here to anyone passing by Boulder.

Stunning campus . The grass and landscaping are immaculate and history is evident in the older part of campus. The new part of campus is elegant and planned well. Really a gorgeous campus. Students are very friendly and helpful!

Beautiful campus!
Spent time here in the summer. See the photos.
They have a space exhibit at old main, a planetarium, an observatory, and many other things to see and do.
The buildings all share a unified stone and red tile them on the roof.
They also do walking tours.

PeaBrane — Google review
The stately, majestic campus of one of the great universities of the American West. I must admit that I'm a little biased toward Colorado Boulder, having grown up in the Colorado front range region, but returning to this campus, I am even more impressed by its magnificence and its sprawling beauty than I was when I was younger. The campus is a wonderful, lively place to wander around and explore, seeing a variety of new sites ranging from a scale model of the solar system to a lovely little prairie like area that has carrots growing in it. This is a place that feels constantly surprising, and it's never boring when you are walking through it, yet the campus feels remarkably unified. Despite the differences in when the buildings were constructed, they all feel cohesive, and they all have that specific reddish-brown stone color that glows in the mountain sunlight, making the campus look both like a site for true learning and comprehension and a distinctly Colorado place that could not exist anywhere else. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area, and if you are considering going to the University of Colorado Boulder, I guarantee you that you will enjoy your time at this campus.

Our son is a student at CU Boulder and we couldn't be more happy with his decision to be a buff. A fantastic academic institution with a diverse student population and (in my opinion) the prettiest campus in the world. Absolutely love the place!

Boulder, Colorado was a place I wanted to visit at least once, and I knew that real estate would be expensive due to the large number of IT companies, which meant it would be safe.
The University of Boulder, located there, was also a place I actually longed to visit. Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal, but we drove through the campus, which had a very nice atmosphere. There were many fashionable stores around the school.

Surrounded by mountains and greenery, an awesome place to get your degree from!! Wintery days are gloomy but the mountains compensate for those once snow starts. The temp in peak winter (Feb-March) drops to as low as -25 degree C (-13 F). The spring brings a new life to the place and the beauty gets enhanced by blooming flowers all around.
Aiswarya Abhisek Mohapatra — Google review
I cannot personally attest to the academics here, but the campus was beautiful. I have two mates that go here, and they seem to really enjoy it if that counts for anything. The Front Range gets over 300 days of sun per year, and that is reflected in the red tile roofs and solar panels gracing them, very progressive of Colorado-Boulder. Worth a visit if in the area or hoping to enroll in the university, though one should note that it's a good distance away from Denver International Airport, and transportation should be arranged if you would like to make decent timing there since using public transport includes taking several busses and transfers.

The Flatirons is an iconic mountain peak that can be seen from pretty much anywhere in Boulder, Colorado. The flat, slab-like peaks are a popular rock climbing destination, and the area also has dozens of hiking trails that take tourists into the surrounding foothills.
An area of outstanding natural beauty with well marked hiking trails, some of which are suitable to walk on even in snowy conditions. Not to be missed if you're in the area!!

Intermediate level; for beginners hike may seem intimidating as the incline begins pretty quickly from the trailhead, but keep going! The views are totally worth it. We took the Chautauqua trail-Flatiron 2/3 hike up and the Bluebird-Baird trail down. Enjoy the hike!

This trail kicked my butt. Visiting from the east coast and not used to the elevation. Also, there are some ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING parts of this trail that the locals cross with ease. My husband and I were looking at parts of the trails that look like the left overs of a massive rock slide and not a trail at all. Haha still beautiful and very rewarding to finish. If you hike a lot maybe you won't have as hard of a time as I did! The actual flatiron itself and not the trail....yeah that's never gonna happen. I'm convinced people from Colorado have goat legs.

Breathtaking Flatirons area is a must when visiting Boulder. Beautiful views, hiking trails of different difficulty levels. Wear good shoes, bring water, lease your dogs. Be aware that you are at high altitude! Paid parking lot is available, but there are few spots, parking could get complicated.

Awesome, simple hike, for beginners. Especially if you are new to the area. Parking can be an issue and if you are hiking on a weekend or a holiday it can be crowded. Overall it is a great experience and will definitely give you a break from the pretentious City life in Boulder!
Located in Black Hawk, Colorado, The Lodge Casino offers traditional rooms above a lively casino floor filled with slot machines and action-packed table games. Guests can enjoy fabulous dining options and complimentary parking while taking in the stunning mountain views. The lodge is a favorite among visitors for its exceptional service and friendly staff, although some have noted occasional issues with certain personnel. The on-site buffet is highly praised for its great value and delicious offerings, making it a perfect stop during your visit to the casino.
I like playing at this casino & have had luck on the slots through the years. I haven't stayed at the hotel since rooms were renovated but liked to stay in them before then. The grill have excellent food to this day.. The restaurant use to be a little slow, not sure if still is now.

The lodge is my fave! From valet, to the servers at white buffalo… everyone is phenomenal. My dad and I are always remembered, acknowledged, & respected by everyone.
All the dealers greet us with “our favoriteeeee” and it brings me so much joy. Tonight, one of the slot attendants treated us to a dinner at the buffet! The kindness is above and beyond here it’s insane. I love catching up with the lodge friends <3
The only downfall; one of the pit boss ladies is awful. My dad is a huge gambler; has been for years. He’s been going to black hawk for even longer than I was even a thought in existence. He’s good as heck at black jack. But the older blonde lady always has such a stick up her butt and in the 6 years I’ve been joining my dad she has never once been like every single other employee of the lodge. I feel like her job should include being delightful but I guess not??? Idk. She’s awful. Everyone/thing else is great.

They're Buffet is a great value for $27 we had prime rib right at 11:00 and it was outstanding. There are lots of food choices and they bring the food out often and have a Carving Station where you can get a lot of different menu items. The table surface is good and the place was uncrowded and pleasant. I also want a little bit of money here to cover my lunch which always makes for a fun day. There's plenty of parking right across the street and underground as well

The Casino was great! However, the room we stayed in was awful. The moment we walked in, there was an extremely strong musty, old smell. The sheets appeared to have been slept in or they simply did not press them and there were holes in the sheets as well. The staff quickly came in to change the bedding. We stay in Black Hawk quite often and have never experienced a room in this condition. You get away to have a relaxing pampered feeling, not to spend time having your hotel room worked on. We will never stay here again.

SuperBook Sportsbook: This is by far the worst in-person Sportsbook experience I have ever had. I placed a $1,500 wager and WAS TOLD I could cash out this ticket at the cage if I won and SuperBook was closed. After my bet WON at around 9:30PM, SuperBook was closed, so I returned to the cage and was told that my $2,364 payout was “too much” for the cage to give me. What?! I had a flight the next morning at 8AM so I couldn’t drive all the way back the next morning to get my $. SuperBook is rarely open. I spoke to a manager and he was rude and careless and told me there was nothing he could do and didn’t know how I could get my $2,364 that SuperBook owes me. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET MY WINNING MONEY? DO NOT COME HERE. Lodge Casino is terrible and the staff is rude. You also cannot bet on live games at the counter which is pathetic. Why is this sportsbook even here?

We absolutely love this casino & hotel! The casino is always being cleaned and machines being wiped down, floors being kept clean, restrooms clean. You see plenty of players winning while gambling on both machines and tables.
Unfortunately, the table games have a minimum of $15 bet and never anything lower for those who want to play table games and enjoy this side of the casino.
Please put in more Dragon Link games and add in some Rising Fortunes games!
The casino in general has friendly staff, quick serving cocktail waitresses, friendly janitorial staff, and more! The hotel is clean and has very comfortable beds.
The buffet is pretty good as well and has friendly staff, tasty selection of foods, and is clean. Worth the money.
Great experience and will be back!

Horrible buffet for $50, ask for sweet tea and got non sweet, prime rib was tremendously dry, nothing else I tried was any good. Tried the other restaurant next day, I had a simple question and the lady couldn't answer me because she didn't speak English. There was other problems communicating with staff due to language barrier. Also you order from a kiosk which couldn't read any of my cards, so I went across the street and got food. Casino doesn't pay out at all. Played black Jack and never got any cards in my favor but the dealer won every hand. Don't waste your money here.

The people who work for this casino really have a low character. They aren't funny or cute or friendly. It's an incredibly toxic "insider" environment. Somehow they passed unlimited limits in Colorado and operate what is really a criminal operation (casino gambling) under everyone's nose.

Had a great time at a ten dollar minimum roulette table, made a little money, but spent a lot... With regards to that Black Hawk/Central City need to seriously take a couple pages out of Vegas books. Maybe have more than one roulette table open in the entire casino, in Vegas you can get a players card 24/7 not from 9-5, but most of all if someone is spending hundreds of dollars in your casino at the very least bring more than one drink every three hours!! I mean come on people you basically have a license to print money, TAKE CARE OF YOUR PEOPLE!!

I was playing blackjack and the dealer kept telling me to hit or stay like I don’t know how to play or something. When I didn’t listen to her she became aggressive and snapped at me telling me that’s not what I’m supposed to do? What? I’ve been playing blackjack for years and I don’t appreciate being told how to bet or play! Is the game rigged at this casino? I would say so. This place use to be fun but I’ve noticed a definite decline in the way staff acts to their patrons and it’s unfortunate and unacceptable. I felt like they act like your money already belongs to them with no regard for customer service. Also the slot games were dirty ( old drinks left behind with smudges and grime on slot surfaces) also with missing chairs at a lot of them I hope people wake up and stop supporting this casino. I know I won’t be back, when staff treats you like they hate you there is a very bad dysfunction in the way they practice business ethics.

I have frequented this casino many times. The last two times I've been here I have been disrespected beyond measure. I was cut off from gaming and told I was intoxicated (I had two drinks over a 6 hour period). The security walked me to their front lobby told me that I had to get a room and told me they would give me a "deal" and charge me $160 for a night. After I've spent thousands at their establishment.... I politely declined and left. I gave them another chance. I came up again tonight, lost easily another $1,000, and the bartender demanded $3.75 for a drink when I was told to go to the bar to get a free drink after hours and hours of gaming because the cocktail waitress had not come around. I explained what I was told, and the bartender stared me in the eye and said $3.75!
This place is the absolute worst. You can spend hours gaming here, and your entire paycheck, yet they treat you like a second class citizen.
STAY FAR AWAY!

I ordered a Jake's burger thru the deli kiosk. The machine confirmed that my order was being processed. The machine did NOT spit out any kind of receipt. So I waited and the order came out. I went to get my food and the employee tells me I CANNOT RECEIVE THE FOOD!???? because he needs to see the receipt (which never came out of the machine). What really bothered me was the manager confirming that I HAD TO WAIT to receive the food (mind you this is an $11 burger) until he could confirm that i paid for it - and this DESPITE that I was SHOWING him the proof from my bank account that the funds had been deducted. LOL. I hope they DO at the very least add a sign that says "You MUST have a receipt in order to get your food" right there in big bold letters at that kiosk. I hope this review serves as a training reminder for managers that its not worth making customers wait 20 mins over an $11 burger that they absolutely DID pay for! Absurd.

It is a nice casino with a friendly staff and the limits on the tables aren't too high. It is nice and clean in general and there are other people there having fun every time I go in. The pit staff is always friendly and greets me, which always adds a little fun, and the dealers are really cool too. If given a choice between The Lodge and Bally's across the street, go to The Lodge every time.

I went to The Lodge Casino on New Year's Eve (12/31/2023) with my sister and mother. We had a blast playing slot machines, the panda machine, and video poker. The staff were friendly and helpful. Waitresses came around frequently to check if we wanted free drinks. Yes, free drinks if you are actively gambling. As a card holder, I received $10 of e-cash for free. You can use e-cash in any of the machines. They have free valet parking. They keep the casino clean. You should check it out the next time you are in Black Hawk, Colorado.
Left Hand Brewing Company is an exceptional independent brewery that offers a wide variety of microbrews, including stouts, IPAs and barrel-aged options. The tasting room features a patio and daily food trucks, with ample outdoor space for social distancing. Knowledgeable staff can assist with organizing flavors for tastings, and fair prices make it accessible to all. Visitors can bring their dogs along to enjoy the large lawn area near the main taproom.
Excellent independent brewery! Enough options that a flight is likely warranted even if focusing on a particular category (stout, IPA, barrel-aged, etc.). Knowledgeable staff can help match/organize flavors for it. Food trucks nightly. Heated outdoor space, good for social distancing. Many, many options to go at fair prices.

My friend wanted to try a beer at this Brewery for a while and since we were layover 24 hours why not?
Upon arrival, you had to wait for hostess to open the door as they're accepting only a certain capacity of customers at a time. The gentleman up front was extremely nice! We decided to sit outside as Colorado weather was perfect for outdoor seating.
Menu's are through scan code so perfect. They offer a variety of beers on tap to pick from as well as can ones. I decided to go with a flight of beer which includes 4 samples. I picked Good Juju (if you love Ginger then this is your type of beer, loved it!), White Russian (if you're a fan White Russian cocktail then flavors are on point and it will be your perfect beer), Milk Stout (it felt like a triple double espresso; if you're a coffee lover then this beer it's just for you) and Raspberry Milk Stout (my second favorite - loved it!).
We asked for food options and the waiter mentioned they had an agreement with two restaurants. Options were either Mexican or BBQ and off course we went with BBQ. Delivery time was extremely fast and their BBQ especially their Ribs and Briskett were to die for!
Super knowledgeable employees, extremely clean establishment, free parking in the front lot of the brewing, and best of all upon check in through Yelp you get a free pint of beer of your choice with what's available on the tap options.
Highly recommended!

We had a family visit to The Left Hand Brewing Company yesterday in Longmont, Colorado. What a great experience it turned out to be. We sampled several of the stouts as well as a few others. We bought a pack of White Russians to take home. Bartender was very welcoming and helpful in choosing some of the beers. A great treat to visit for all beer lovers. Nice little fire-pit outside too.

Delicious Beer and awesome staff. They allow dogs which is amazing and they have a large lawn area that is not far from the main taproom. We come for the IPAs but always end up getting a delicious stout as well. Also the Irish guy behind the bar is super cute. I think his name might be Cody.

Great atmosphere with friendly and knowledgable staff. Their beer selection is decently sized and there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Stumbled across it and ended up staying for Wednesday night trivia. A great time!

Beers were...OK & decent, guess. I sat inside at the bar to get a tasting & it was very stuffy (no air flow) & extremely loud. Really wanted to love it, but sadly I did not.

We love it here! Between the tap house and Biergarten, left hand is always a good time! We’ve been a bunch of times and it never disappoints. Recently we popped in with our toddler to enjoy my husbands birthday and they were so awesome! The outside area at the tap house is great and lots of fun seating areas! All of their beers are delicious but I really enjoyed their Oktoberfest this visit!

Some of the stouts where good. The ones with an adjunct, such as the French Toast had a very "fake" taste. The other beers where subpar. The staff didn't seem to like their jobs. The bartenders where short with you and I ran into a grey haired individual that was rather rude, I'm assuming he works there. Overall not a good experience and don't see a need to go back.

May have a national handprint but the trip to where it all happens explains why it’s national. Amazing that after winning GABF 2022 that there’s seat at the tap, hospitality and a atmosphere that no one is resting on its laurels or hops. Favorite start with Dry Irish Stout.

Fantastic beers with a full board of limited releases at the taproot. They have several heated outdoor shelters for cold weather enjoyment. Awesome brewery!

Great brewery. Lots of unique brews. Canned cocktails for non-beer drinkers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor patio has a fire pit. Outdoor beer garden hosts musical guests; some events are free. Nice gift store with Left Hand products and handmade art crafts.

If you get the chance take the brewery tour... its fantastic. I've been on several brewery tours across the country. This is in the top 3. Especially if you are a microbrew nerd and like to talk beer. Everyone there is very knowledgeable about the process and the final product.
The tasting room has a great atmosphere. Almost reminds me of "Cheers" where everyone knows your name even if you are from out of town. We checked in at the bar for the tour and we started chatting with the guy at the end of the bar.
Ameristar Black Hawk is a luxurious resort and casino in Black Hawk, offering modern rooms and suites with an indoor pool, dining options, and a spa. The property boasts stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and provides easy access to attractions like the Central City Opera and Argo Gold Mine. With over 1,250 slot machines, various table games including Bonus Craps, and 22 poker tables on its casino floor, guests can enjoy a thrilling gaming experience.
Super clean and friendly staff! I bought a coffee mug as a souvenir for a family member back in Houston, and I explained to one of the floor managers that I had left it somewhere. They had all the others floor managers searching for it, and even got the security camera operators to locate and back track my steps so we could find it...and we did!! Seriously, the nicest Casino I've been too (I've been to a lot). The floor layout is super easy to navigate, and there's a second story playing area as well! Parking is easy, and the drive there is beautiful. The machines hit pretty regularly, and I hit quite a few times myself. If you're in Denver, check out this mountain gem!

Everyone was very nice and polite. Parking was free and convenient. We sat by a man that won 14,000.00 or more dollars, and got to celebrate in on his win. Unfortunately we left broke. Place was clean and mask were a option. I only have two suggestions. Provide hand sanitizer at least when you enter or a neutral place. I also would suggest wiping the machines down more often. We were in one area for hours and we seen the machines cleaned once. Other than that you must go and enjoy!!

The rooms are great. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The furniture is nice. The bathroom is beautiful. The service was not 5 star. The information/security people were the most friendly and helpful. Getting anyone on the room phone was a joke. And if you did get someone they couldn't help you. Why have a button on the phone for restaurant reservations if they can't make reservations for you? Mostly though, no matter what button you push you get sent to the never ending hold. The front desk girl who checked us in was very friendly. We had dinner at the Fireside Kitchen with 4 friends and they won't split checks. For a resort that is so crazy! The red buss that runs around town 24 hours is awesome! You don't have to drive. We went to the Central City Opera House for a show and just hopped on the bus and didn't have to worry about parking. The late night market was fun. They make your ice cream in front of you and it is very delicious!

Hotel Staff is disorganized, poorly trained, and rude.
Recommend you choose elsewhere for a stay in Blackhawk!
We stayed here for a night, had three bedrooms (double queen beds) and 6 guests. I purchased these rooms in full through the Ameristar website for ease of check in day of, but then the problems just stacked on. Upon check in I noted 2 people per room by name and then was asked to pay an additional $22/room and when asked what for the clerk said " I'm not sure....because it's a third party purchase?" This wasn't true and she could never resolve where the charges came from. She then suggested to pay and her "manager" tomorrow would resolve the charges. So after an hour of waiting we finally enjoyed our night. Upon check out, I provided the objective evidence via email confirmations that I didn't owe more to which the "Manager" said 3 people were listed on the rooms...this was the additional fee that couldn't be resolved the prior day. Easy fix I thought - but instead, this manager said it was my fault and if I "Couldn't afford the (unjustifiable) additional cost, I'm going to be sent to collections." She boasted this loudly in the lobby, in front of a building line of on lookers and this took another hour of my time. A terrible experience.
I did call back the next day and another manager fixed the issue and said he would "talk" with the weekend manager and that never should have happened. Though it was fixed, I recommend you go elsewhere.

I thought it was cool. I've always wanted to stay there and eat and gamble all night. Did just that. Pool is very special. I had a bladt
I lost a medallion in my room. Contacted security and gave them my info. Filled out the online form too for a missing thing.
Called and spoke to someone in Security. Mentioned he would get back to me. Never did. Two weeks and counting.
It's not valuable just special to me. Pretty sure it's gone tho. Was my fault in hindsight

The facilities are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Corporate has a little to be desired. The buffet is only open three nights a week and is expensive! Also, there is no longer a day pass option at the ARA Spa. Things I was looking forward to were non-existent.

When we visit the Denver area, we enjoy coming here, as we can enjoy a nice room, up in the mountains (yes, a bit of a drive up and down but whats the point of being near the Rockies when you can be IN the Rockies), some gambling and the available food choices. I think the only challenge is food choices on premise can get a little pricey but there is good variety and others are a short walk away.

This place is an amazing place to find after a beautiful drive through the Colorado mountain scenery. The food at the lodge buffet is very good. Especially after 4 because it has all you can eat snow crab. My weakness has been found.

Great place to "get away", whether it's a long weekend or a full vacation. The rooms are very nice and somewhat fairly priced for the most part. The rooftop pool is a must see, and personally one of my favorite attractions here. The Casino has something for any gambling aficionado (table games, slots, video poker, etc...), and I've personally witnessed quite a few jackpots hit.

Food was good.
Staff was great.
Hot tub in the snow...
You have to be on the lookout for drinks. I lost, and lost fast. It seems like the machines are set to pay bigger wins less often. Maybe I picked bad machines.

First time staying in Black Hawk and the Ameristar was beyond what we hoped. We had a King bedroom, with the bathtub and separate shower. Loved the outdoor smoking patios which has heater lamps and fireplace, cool chill spots, few slots out there to play. Pool on top floor and outdoor sitting & fireplaces was awesome, especially to be up there at sunset. We ate at the restaurants and it was all good. We actually won about $100 between the two of us playing some machines. Drinks at the bar on main floor were cheap and dynamite. All staff was very courteous, can't wait to go back. Scenic pic is from our room's big window and other is us enjoying the top floor fireplace.

It is centrally located, which is perfect. The rooms were nicely updated. Loved the bathrooms. I don't like that the amenities shut down so early. Coffee should be available all hours in the casino. The pool should be open later. They closed the gift shop and I wish they went back to the buffet with fancy desserts.

Great casino with a Vegas feel. Some upscale restaurants makes this place feel like an expensive resort. The decor is awesome with that oldies Monte Carlo feel. The table games here are exciting and fun to play. I always enjoy this so on my Black Hawk casino runs.

This place was recently purchases by Penn Gaming. I was VIP before the new owners took over and it was my favorite casino while I was living in Colorado. I stayed there this month while on a business trip and they actually made some improvements. They added a new Japanese restaurant downstairs which was fantastic. They also added some newer slots and table games. The rooms were very nice and cozy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I definetly would recommend.

Went up to BlackHawk for the first time and man what a disappointment Ameristar made. The hotel and staff were wonderful, but the casino was horrible.
They boast about 20 minute wait for drinks, but waited hours. We had two different waiters take our drink orders and never came back. Unlike Vegas if you walk up to the bar your drinks are not free. You have to be gambling on a machine or table. The soda/coffee station was even worse. Half the soda didn't work and they didn't have cups. When we went to get our cards they said this even their slow time. Couldn't imagine how much worse it would've been during peak times l.
Stay for the hotel. Gamble at a casino that actually cares.

After reading the reviews I must say I was nervous to stay here. The room was already booked, and I got a great deal so decided to give it a try. Knowing that check in wasn't until 4:00 , I thought we would try to check in early upon arrival. We arrived at 2:00 on Mothers day and went straight to the lobby for check in. We were greeted by 3 different employees and
check in was so easy! The resort fee was only $16. While at the check in desk, the gentleman even gave us bottled water. The hotel had a nice room ready and even asked if we prefer higher or lower levels. We chose a room on a higher level and we're given a room on the 26th floor. I knew that we would be in need of a luggage cart and that was readily available as well, just needed to hold my driver's license until I returned it 20 min later.
The only issue I would say that we ran into was trying to bring 2 bottles of wine into our room, visible on the luggage cart. Security stoped us and told us that it was not allowed and that we had to put the wine back in the car. I recommend not having any alcohol visible if you are bringing it to your room.
Once in the room, it was very nice. We had a basic double queen. The bathroom is big and has a large walk in shower and a attached bathtub that is also a good size. Two sinks and a separate toilet area. I took 2 hot baths while there and it was very pleasant. Rooms were very clean, maintained and had a great mountain view. Refrigerator and coffee maker available.
Ice machine and vending available on our floor as well. Halls and carpet were very clean. Room was quiet and TV had local channels which I liked.
Went up to the rooftop pool/ hot tub and it was very relaxing. Hot tub outside was the best. There was also a hot tub inside by the pool but there were children in that one and I wanted to relax in quiet, so outside I went. Towels were available upon walking into the pool area.
Casino was nice and clean, however I will not gamble here next time. I lost money while gambling here and minimums were high. Slots seemed very tight. The next morning we went down to some of the older casinos ( Z Casino, Saratoga and a couple others in that area ) much better payoff and more fun.
Ramen bar was super yummy. We went in around 9:00 p.m. and seated right away. Ordered and got our food within 10 min. Ramen was so good! Cute atmosphere and many choices.
Every employee I came across in the hotel was nice and very helpful. I am glad I didn't cancel because of the reviews. We had a great time! I will definitely stay here again! Great rooms for the price!

The room itself was really nice and the hotel in general with all its amenities are also very nice. The service though was my only issue when I tried calling to order room service or see if the restaurant was open for room service. I tried calling the front desk through the hotel rooms phone three times and no one would answer the phone I tried calling in room, dining department, and no one would answer the phone Very upsetting because I was super hungry and I wanted to know if anything was open so I could eat very annoying. I had to call my dad to call the front desk to see if any restaurants are open in the hotel. I hope they upgrade their customer service, especially the in room dining department Because parents with younger children in the case they stay here they probably would want to bring food in the room

Everything was awesome. Even though the pool was down for maintenance we were still able to enjoy the rooftop hot tub. Room was gorgeous along with the bathroom with the deep tub and separate shower. We had a deluxe king room on the 25th floor. I also recommend eating at the Fireside Grill right in the hotel.

If you like to gamble then they are great. They will give you comped rooms if you spend enough there. Food on location is all very good and at varying price points. Even the kiosk that has premade sandwichs next to the hotels front desk are actually very good. The only downside to this place is that its getting older and some renovation is going to be needed down the road. If you don't mind that, then save yourself some money and stay here instead of the Monarch.

Spa customer service is amazing. They had to cancel a service for my wife and daughters as the provider had an emergency. They made it very right. Thank you April for ALL you did! They had an amazing experience. Five stars.
The Guest Services other than the spa were horrible. First when I called to see if they could put a little treat or acknowledgment of my wife’s birthday that we could see upping our arrival, I was told in the phone “uh, we don’t do that”. Then my daughter called down for more pillows and a 4th set of towels (we have our family of four in the room) the gentleman was downright nasty to her. So I called and he was nasty to me. The server in the fireside restaurant made sure to let everyone know how stressed she was.
Spa? Amazing! Guest services? Missed opportunities for them to create a great experience.

My significant other and I chose Ameristar Casinos for a two night getaway, while she was enjoying her time at the amenities provided, I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. In the lobby near front desk they have a decent cold sandwich cooler. Granted the prices for a simple sandwich that isn’t freshly made to order are a bit much, I opted for this assuming it would be quick. Only having large bills, I had a concern regarding change. My assumption was incorrect as the issue was much trivial than a transaction regarding large bills. To my surprise not only was the front desk beyond rude, they were very dismissive and too busy to offer any alternative solutions to the unnecessary dilemma created by the policy upheld. I politely asked to speak to the supervisor on duty only to be met with an escalated, ill tempered irritated supervisor. I understand it’s merely a sandwich. However I had a positive attitude towards a mutual compromised solution. I was met with the contrary. Being a combat veteran with over eight years honorable service I was triggered by the lack of support. Again I realize it’s only a sandwich, but for a veteran who eats my emotions I was greatly disappointed. A month prior I was in the same situation yet my cash was accepted. I wouldn’t think a place of this high reputation for excellent customer support and service would have a double standard regarding the SOPs of daily operations. I can only assume my ethnic background had a play in this, or at least this is how I feel being that a white group ahead of me lacked both credit card and proper identification were met and assisted with a few options that allowed for a smooth check in. I guess one can assume the veteran friendly establishment is a facade. Disappointed and hungry, I suggest the Monarch for veteran friendly service and accommodations. Kudos to Ameristar for alienating a Native American Combat Veteran.

In bigger places like this it's sometimes hard to guarantee each employees courteous and competent. However, when I expressed my concerns to Walter the manager, he was so receptive and kind and did everything he could to assure we left happy still. Very glad he is in the position he is in because when the right people come along he is going to lead them and the establishment in a beautiful path

I spent nearly $170 to stay a single night in a hotel where the bathtub was broken and the employees were rude.
When we first arrived Thursday at about 1 the man at the front desk was speaking with another employee for about 5-10 minutes while we stood there waiting for help. When I asked what time check in was he was incredibly rude to us for apparently interrupting his conversation with another employee. When we came back later for checkin however the woman who helped us was very nice.
We went to the Ramen Bar at about 1030 and the hostess was very rude and made it very clear she did not want to seat us, and after we were sat it took forever to actually be served. I saw multiple people waiting 15+ minutes to be seated when the restaurant was nearly empty, most of them ended up just walking away because the employees did not want to seat any customers.
Bath tub did not work in the room, so when we went to take a bath in the morning we couldn’t. It would continue to drain even after you clicked down the plug. Very disappointed in that.
Front desk person offered to have bathtub looked at but we already had to leave, and there was nothing else offered to make up for it. I paid almost 170 dollars to stay one night in a room with a broken bathtub. Not happy with my stay, I’d recommend looking at different hotels to stay at.

Save your money and go somewhere else. My friend and I went here this last Thursday. My friend was the one who was hyping me up about going to this place and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The only person that was nice to us was the girl that got us checked in. Beyond that everything was horrible. The room was dirty, like the light shade had dents and spots in it. The furniture looks old and scuffed up bad. The bathroom and the pillows were really nice that’s about it tho. We spent an hour and a half in the casino and was never offered a drink. The cocktail server chicks were rude and would just stare at us until I eventually walked up to stand at the bar for 5 min before she reluctantly came over and asked what I wanted and when I got my drink back it was pretty much juice. I know they were just jealous and hating on us because there was multiple times I would make eye contact with one of them so I could get a drink and they would just turn their back and start laughing, and completely ignore us. Maybe hire better servers that aren’t insecure and take better care of themselves because yikes.. I won’t be returning back here i rather pay alittle more and stay at the Monarch!
Mackenzie Moreno — Google review
The rooms here are very nice but it’s unfortunate that they have a $65 resort fee when you are not getting much for the “resort”. There are no servers or drink runners in the casino, no one is coming to bring you a drink or take an order. They basically only have slots, there are barely any roulette tables and they are sat on for hours if you can get a seat. The pool is nice, but although it’s indoors it’s not heated. The hot tubs are nice. All around it’s pretty mid and not worth the money.

Our favorite casino on the strip, even better than the new one in my mind. The rooms are great, but could use a little maintenance where furniture is starting to look worn over 15 years of use. The suite was amazing, palatial, and super comfortable. Staff is awesome.

Horrible, unethical hotel management. We booked two rooms to stay with friends coming in from out of state. We arrived to check in at about 10:15, and they told us they had given our room away, the hotel was completely booked, and charged us the full amount for our reservation. We told them that was not right, no one told us we had to check in by a certain time, and that if the room was rented by someone else, they should at least refund us. They refused. So they double dip and get paid twice for the same room. Terrible company policy. We’ll never attempt to stay there again.

Absolutely worst experience! We got stuck in Denver due to snow storm and came in 1 day later. They canceled our policy and refused to honor our original price. Chautauqua Park is a park located in Boulder, Colorado that offers hikers and climbers a wide variety of trails to explore. The park is also known for its expansive lawn which is perfect for picnicking and sunbathing. In addition to its physical attractions, the park also has a number of cultural amenities, including theater and restaurants.
I LOVE CHAUTAUQUA PARK!!! I come to Chautauqua park a few times a month to either meet friends in the park or hike-it’s truly is a gorgeous place, and it always puts me in a good mood close to nature. I believe the statistic says that Chautauqua park is frequented more often than The Rocky Mountain National Park (which is about 40 min from Chautauqua in Estes). But if you are visiting the Boulder/Denver area, you should visit both, as they are both breathtaking and overall amazing places. Chautauqua is perfect for a family adventure, with friends, pretty much it’s perfect for any person who loves nature, mountains, and a great view! Sometimes I just grab a coffee and hike up the first part of the Chautauqua main trail. It can be pretty busy on weekends and holidays, so beware. The parking is good though, you just might have to walk a bit to get to the entrance if it’s a weekend-and most parking spaces nearby do make you pay. I also often bring my Alaskan Malamute, as it’s a dog-friendly trail, and she loves it! You won’t regret visiting this spectacular Boulder landmark, the flat irons are truly a sight to see and worth the trip!

We were told the Bear Canyon trail was the most known Boulder beginner hike. We brought our toddlers to do it with us! We went on a weekday and it was not busy.
Definitely a kid-friendly hiking experience, but a bit too much on the hills at the end. We ended up carrying them for about 1/3 of the way.
Gorgeous views - absolutely beautiful! The pictures I got were only with a smartphone camera.
We also saw a mid-size bull snake, a doe, cows, a plethora of birds and butterflies. The bugs were manageable without bug spray. Lots of plant species, flowers, rock specimens and natural landscape to observe if you're into natural history. A few little streams along the trail, and several shady spots to take a water break.
We did not see public restrooms or a place to get maps of the trail prior. We were able to download it to our phone before coming. Overall, an easy hike without kids and better suited for kids 6+ if you are doing the whole loop.

Beautiful place to see the Flatirons. We did not know what to expect so, no hiking shoes but the path was not bad and the trails are marked clearly. We did somehow encounter a few rough spots as we got to higher elevation due to the snowfall from a few days before. The blue trail especially, was a little rough and muddy. But when you do make it to the top, the view is breathless... no pun intended... 😆
It is worth taking the time to visit this park If you want beautiful photos and catch some wildlife.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our hike that afternoon.

I'm a creative based out of Denver and this is one of my favorite locations to shoot proposals in. The park is always clean and the views are unmatched. I really like how you can go easy or really advanced on the hiking trails. If you are looking for a great hike or something to do while in Boulder this is perfect for that. If you are someone looking to ask another person the most important question in your life this is a place I fully can recommend and it won't disappoint. Make sure you go at sunrise or sunset to avoid large crowds of people as the park is amazing and a lot of people like to go during certain times.

At Chautauqua Park and took the Royal Arch trail. A holiday weekend and the hike took us 5 hours to complete. Normal time is 3 to 3.5 hours to complete. It was beautiful day but just a little to crowded for us. Lots of dogs and lots of hikers equals log-jams and numerous points during the hike. But I'm not mad at anyone or anything crowded trails is a wonderful problem to have living in Colorado. I would recommend this park and it's many trails to all. The views are amazing and skill levels of all can hike a trail here. I can't wait to get back up, just maybe not during a holiday weekend next time.

By far one of the best hikes in Boulder, you can easily spend all day here hiking and climbing up to the flatirons. There are several different trails for different levels and scenery. There are a couple of spots with picnic tables and restrooms. It gets alot colder at the top so I recommend bringing a jacket, it was also extremely icy in spots where you would just slide and could easily fall so be cautious!!

Our group of 4 did the route up to Royal Arch in the middle of April. This was a slightly technical hike, with a few spots you need to scramble up or down rocks to continue up the trail. We were happy to be in hiking boots and using trekking poles, but plenty of folks on the trail were in sneakers and not using poles, so it's fine for a casual outing. Some spots are a little slippery, but caution is all that's needed.
This hike is beautiful from start to finish! We started in the meadow, then the landscape shifted to evergreen woods with ample stone formations, interesting lichens, local spring ephemeral wildflowers, and underbrush growing in. We didn't see many bird varieties beyond a few magpies, but we did spot some mule deer, and most importantly, a Colorado chipmunk! There was still snow on the ground in places.
The arch itself is breathtaking, offering a sweeping vista that looks out across Boulder, with a great view of CU. Well worth the effort!

Well, we took our time snack, enjoy nature and pictures. Is a steep hike, but everyone can do it. Do suggest a pair of good hiking shoes because the trail is rocky.
We felt like coming down hill a lot of impact on the feet.

The hiking here is fantastic and has easy to challenging terrain, beautiful flowers, and grand views. We arrived early on a cool morning and grabbed the last close-in parking spot ($2.50/hr -- There is a free shuttle and parking though.) Remember to bring a picnic lunch, sufficient water, sun screen and a bear whistle. Yes, bears are seen occasionally 🐻. After your hike, you will want to pull a blanket out of your car and sit under the trees until your parking expires to soak up every last moment of mountain sunshine. Be alert to your watch however because City of Boulder parking cops walk around continuously checking license plates for violators. It's a popular park and there is a steady stream of cars looking to grab your spot when you leave. We found 3 hours allows for a good hike and picnic/rest time. Enjoy!

It was too cold for me to really discover everything this area has to offer but will return in the spring to see just how gorgeous this place gets! (Update: IT’S WAY BETTER IN THE SPRING! True Colorado experience!)
This has got to be one of my favorite farmers markets. Logistically, it has ample and free parking, making it easy to get to. It also has a great variety of produce plus all the other wonderful vendors that are there regularly. You could literally hit this up every week and never need to go to the grocery store. And I love that it supports local producers.

Great local Farmer's Market with lots of variety. There's even a GF baker with brownies & other tasty breads for breakfast. Yummy. 😊

I drive to the Longmont Farmer’s Market from Boulder because the Longmont one feels more laid back and the parking is plentiful and free. Can get all the things I’d get at the Boulder market at Longmont.
There are vendors selling vegetable plants to plant in your garden, asparagus, greens, chocolate, salsa/sauces, hard cider, coffee, popcorn, gluten free bread and lots more. Also there are food trucks.

This would be one of the best farmers' markets you've ever been to. Very large array of vendors with a huge variety of items for sale. Excellent produce and bakery items.

Great place to get local produce. They also have local breads, pastas, cheeses, meats, hot sauce, etc.
They usually have someone playing music and a station for kids to do something fun.
Finally, they have some good local food pop-ups 5o grab a bite to eat. Great way to spend Saturday morning.

I love a good farmers market and whenever I’m out on my travels I always seek them out. I’m telling you this one did not disappoint! If I lived here I would come every Saturday. I think the sign said every 4th Saturday they have craft vendors. Well today was the Saturday for them. Which was an extra bonus. They have beautiful organic fruits and vegetables and salsas and honey and oils and dips and cheeses and bakery and the list goes on and on. They even had a band playing. If you’re in the area on a Saturday this is a must stop!

Love to go every Saturday! Delicious food vendors, live music, amazing quality fruits veggies and preserved products. Sometimes the fairgrounds has other things going on which only adds to it! If you haven't been, your missing out!!

Great farmers market. They don't allow pets (it's a tad crowded) ... but - Lots of options here: 5 or more farms w fresh produce & a couple with house plants, beef stands, mushroom stands, food vendors with snacks and/or lunch, bread vendors, pasta vendor, honey vendors, homemade chocolate, tinctures, and a bunch of other stuff too. Definitely worth checking out.

So thankful for the convenient BCFM online ordering and pick-up service this year and holiday season (and hopefully for the foreseeable future). We ordered a bunch of local produce and a beautiful prime rib for Christmas. Not only was the food delicious it felt great to support our local farmers and purveyors. Also, the BCFM Team are special humans and great to interact with! Thank you BCFM!!
Pearl Street Mall is an upscale and popular pedestrian mall in downtown Boulder, Colorado. It features a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries, making it a great place to spend a day shopping or exploring. The mall also has an outdoor cafe area as well as free electric train rides for kids.
Just such a nice downtown area to shop and eat. I always take visitors here to give them the full Boulder experience. There's some great restaurants and bars. I like to go to Savannah Bee Company for the Mead flight they offer. I love the tulips and flowers all along it in the spring. Also fun to see street performers of all different varieties.

This was my second visit to Pearl St. and we loved it both times. There's honestly too many places to visit in one day. This outdoor shopping mall is nothing like I've been to in the Midwest (what I'm used to). The shops have something for everyone in them. The various bookstores and toy stores were my favorite. I especially enjoyed the Trident Booksellers and Cafe. Having the option to get my favorite drink and explore a unique bookstore is my favorite way to spend any day.

Very cool place. A must visit while in Boulder. Lots of shops and restaurant options. We enjoyed strolling at night or during the day.

This is the beautiful historic downtown of Boulder. There are lots of shops and restaurants along a very walkable and accessible street closed to traffic. It's spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The historic buildings are gorgeous and very interesting. I highly recommend visiting!

Great outdoor walking mall with all sorts of shops, restaurants, and bars. Loved the Ruthie's specialty grilled cheese sandwiches.
When we visited, the public restroom on the mall was out of order and closed but less than 1/2 block down we could use the easily accessible courthouse restrooms.

Our 1st time visiting Colorado so we wanted to explore and ended up at Pearl Street Mall. A few blocks of shops, restaurants, boutiques, Cafes, Gelato, Ice Cream & more. Such a nice walkway full of beautiful flower beds, plenty of benches... a peaceful feeling.
We had lunch at Pasta Jay's which was delicious! Then went on walking and shopping around at different stores, made a stop at Capital One Cafe for a nice latte, then off for ice cream... simply an amazing day here for us, so we're happy to have found it.

The Pearl Street Mall is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in Boulder! I love that it's not only a place for shopping and eating, but also entertainment and play! Boulder does an amazing job keeping it clean - and the flower beds well maintained. There are fun, one off, places for the kids to play and "get the wiggles out". Next time, I definitely want to let my kiddos play at the splash pad! I was very excited to introduce my kids to the Boulder Bookstore, and I am SO happy they loved it as much as I do!!

What a wonderful area. Tons of shops, everything you could possibly want. Plus, many restaurants of all different types. There were a lot of people there, but the size of the area, handles it very well. Plenty of security with the police strolling around with everyone, hardly notice they were there, but comfortable they were! We loved this whole area! Oh, and lots of parking garages and lots all around, that are free on the weekend! Cheers

Such a fun place to shop and explore. Tons of variety in both, something for everyone. Options to shop local, as well as the big name brands Nice, wide area between storefronts to accommodate the masses of people, even outdoor dining areas roped off from the passerby’s. It was beautifully landscaped. There was enjoyable street performers. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few hours and stroll, shop, people watch, eat or drink.

A great place for anyone and everyone to have a wonderful time, to shop, enjoy great food and ice cream, walk around and relax. 100's of stores with 20+ eateries (including 5+ ice cream/gelato shops), 20+ clothing and 10+ accessories, art museums etc.
The ambience was also quite nice and we all loved just walking around and seeing the mountains and other shops in the Mall. The list of shops can be found at

Open concept mall(i.e. not like a traditional mall where all the shops are inside an enclosed giant building). The mall gives a vintage vibe with some exciting art performances. I bought postcards from Art Source International. The mall also has a public restroom which is virtually absent everywhere else in the town.

Boulder is such a quirky, hippy, dippy, little college town so if that's your vibe, they are your tribe! Pearl Street is such a staple and a must visit to get the Boulder experience. Eclectic shops, eateries, food trucks. Brazil Fest performs here, very late summer time frame as do other performers and creative outfits. I definitely appreciate the shout out to the LGBTQ on the pedestrian walk as featured in my clip. :)

We made it. This is one of the most beautiful street malls I have ever visited. And no matter how great everything is, there are always mountains in the background to make it better.

While I was enjoying a magnificent coffee drink from Falafel King, I was lucky to witness the sweet train that goes by every few minutes. The Pearl Street Mall is always such a delight and you’ll never have the same experience twice. There’s always something going on to entertain the throng, such as music, dance, kitty train, etc. A great way to spend your day!

Give or take the university, this is probably the most famous site in Boulder, and rightly so. There is not much I can add to the mythology that has gathered around this mall, other than to say it demands to be seen for itself. Pictures are great but they do not do it justice. This mall is meant to be experienced the beauty and elegance of it, the lively and whimsical atmosphere that contains the spirit of the city of Boulder better than any other place, is not in any individual store or statue or statue or mural, regardless of how colorfully splashy and vibrant those places and sites might be, but in the experience of wandering through the street, exploring, allowing your mind to be overtaken by the symphony of impressions and sensations produced by such a place. Make sure to note even the little intricacies, such as the crosswalks that look like rushing rivers flowing over smooth rocks, capturing the outdoorsy and adventurous essence of Boulder.

Enjoyed this outdoor space with tons of shops and restaurants. It's worth a visit if you're in Boulder. It's not bargain shopping, but it's fun. Also great for people watching.

Great outlets and Great food. You have to experience it. This was low season though. Not a lot of crowd. Only the best places were open. But it's a great street to walk by and enjoy the enthusiasm
The Boulder Creek Path is a scenic route for both cyclists and pedestrians, which runs alongside a creek. It passes through downtown stores and parks before leading into the stunning Boulder Canyon. Upon exploring the walking mall, you can head south to easily access the path from the west side of town. The path offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as biking, walking or even tubing down the creek.

I'll never travel to Rocky Mountain National Park without this trip planner again
The Peak to Peak Highway spans approximately 55 miles and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and more. This scenic road provides breathtaking views of the natural surroundings in the surrounding areas. Visitors can partake in various activities while taking in the beauty of their surroundings.
Ski resort with many trails & terrains, plus shops & eateries as well as warm-weather activities.
Great mountain and amazing staff. They were the nicest people I've ever seen on a mountain. The rental folks were great, the people running the lifts were great. Everyone was great! Lucky us, it snowed 21" the day before we arrived and had the best conditions! Overall, very nice experience. My only issue was that the village was pretty dead as they couldn't staff the restaurants due to staff shortages. But there is nothing to be done with that.

What a lovely hidden gem off 70. Came out to CO for a family getaway to ski this season and decided to check out some different resorts than what we typically ski. Winter Park turned out to be not only our favorite of the week, but we found the resort to be nice, the staff to be friendly and the mountain to have a lot of great terrain. Our favorite runs were Mary Jane, Edelweiss, Forget-Me-Not on the Mary Jane portion of the mountain. This is an area of only blues and blacks. Not made for beginner skiers. The other portion of the mountain is wonderful also. We loved March Hare & White Rabbit. Of course use Village Way to get back to the main base are, but pay attention to signs. If you take Turnpike to get back to the gondola, you’ll be on some flat ground that will be more difficult - the parking garage is a great option for close parking. The free lot is great as well though. Take the gondola from the lot over to the base. Enjoy your time there! It’s fun!

My hometown mountain. They allow ski bikes and everything else. Love the varying terrain from park side to Jane side. Spent 10 years here. It's home.
Any holiday, the lift lines are insane but once you get mid mountain, it isn't so bad.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but Winter Park is a great ski area. I assumed that because of its proximity to Denver that it wouldn’t be that impressive. I was so wrong. The winding road takes you to a location that is beautifully nestled in the mountains and every view is stunning. The lift workers were efficient at getting people up the mountain. There are plenty of options for food. I ate in the food court area and prices were reasonable. There is a Starbucks at the base. There is both covered and uncovered on site parking. I will definitely return to Winter Park!

We had the best time. The room at Zephyr was spacious and a great location for our family of five. We took ski lessons with Amanda and our son took snowboarding lessons with Luke which perfectly prepared us for going out on our own the rest of the weekend. We also got to watch the ski competition being held which was so so amazing. We dined at several restaurants on the property with our favorite being the top of the mountain via gondola. Music and incredible views made for a great night! Everyone on staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back!

This must be a great place to work. It shows in employee attitudes. They are happy, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Skier safety is emphasized in various locations across the mountain and in the facilities. The grooming seems superior to other resorts as well. There is lots of varied terrain that provides challenging fun no matter skill level. It is simply a fun place to ski.
Melanie Woolever — Google review
Amazing resort, plenty of variety including loads of long Blue, Green and Black runs. Fast lifts and if you're willing to choose runs that don't run from the peak you can find empty runs even on the busiest days.
In peak season on weekends - GET THERE EARLY. I arrived at 09:30 am (after sitting in traffic from Denver) and all parking in ALL lots including paid garage parking was full.
In town at Cooper Creek there is free parking with a shuttle to the mountain but the queue was already at over 50+ people waiting.
I'd also recommend bringing your own snacks and water as the lodge food options were absolutely rammed.
Queues for the lifts move fast and the busiest lifts are well managed by the staff on hand.

*UPDATE* Winter Park’s travel insurance company, Red Sky, reached back out to me to let me know they’d made a mistake on my claim— after I left a bad review, reported to the BBB for false practices, and emailed them. They let me know that I would receive a refund- it was a simple date entry error on their part. I’m updating the stars on Winter Park to reflect my total experience. I would highly recommend reading the fine print on your travel insurance if purchasing. While my story ended on a positive note, many have not. Read Red Sky’s reviews on Google as well as the BBB before you choose to vacation at Winter Park, as the travel insurance you purchase also applies to any condos/properties owned by them. Skiing is expensive, especially if you live out of town. Do your homework.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased one lift ticket for the 2022-23 season, sustained a back injury and was unable to ski the day I purchased the ticket for. I purchased travel insurance from WP through Red Sky, and ended up making a claim. Although I spoke with an agent several times who assured me I would receive a refund, and had my physician fill out a claim form, Red Sky denied my claim. I hold Winter Park responsible for this poor service from Red Sky. I am a resident of Colorado, and will never ski at this overpriced, irresponsibly managed resort again.

Having visited this resort most of my life, I can confidently say it is one of Colorado's finest. Catering to an array of skill levels, it makes it an ideal place for beginners like myself when I first learned to ski. The winter park side is a little easier and is for all skill levels, whereas the Mary Jane terrain is more suited for intermediate/advanced skiers. What sets this resort apart from others includes the quality of terrain and snow, the location, outstanding customer service, and simplicity. The free parking lot is convenient as you can ride the gondola to the base. On the Mary Jane side, there a parking lot right at the base, allowing you to basically step out of your car and be on the slopes in minutes. Its, worth noting that with the increasing popularity of skiing, the resort gets quite busy and pricy at peak times. I recommend planning your visit for an off-peak weekday to get the full experience. If you ever find the opportunity to visit, take full advantage, embrace the thrill, and take in the breathtaking scenery around you.

Lost my phone on the ski lift. My fault for sure, but I could see where it had fallen, I could see it from the lift. The lift people wouldn't let me duck under the ropes to grab it, nor did anyone lift a finger to help me get it.
I could have had it in 20 seconds. Just 20 seconds to stop the lift and grab it.
They told me not to worry about it, they'll get it at the end of the day.
We came back at the end of the day. No one had bothered to grab it, and over night it was buried in snow. So when we called the next day they said "tough luck"
The only ones who seemed to care at all were the ski patrol, so big thanks to those folks for having a second look for us.
I could understand if I didn't know where it fell. I could understand if it wasn't directly in my line of sight. Completely accessible, within reach.
I will not be back here.
And folks, I recommend jacket pockets with zippers on them.
Also, if you drop your phone at the top or the bottom of the lift, just climb under the ropes and grab it. You'll get kicked off the mountain, but at least you'll have your phone back.

Winter Park resort is one of the closest ski resorts to Denver - despite its proximity, it doesn't feel touristy.
They have plenty of free parking spaces, so long as you get here pretty early. Lifts and grounds are well maintained, and their app will keep you up to date on the latest trail and lift statuses.
They also have plenty of places to eat, as well as cafeteria-like areas where you can microwave your own food from home.
They also have plenty of holiday events, including fireworks and a Christmas eve ski down. A very family friendly, chill place!

My family decided to go to Winter Park for our annual ski trip and it was such an amazing time. The facilities were impressive. I’ve never been to a resort this big! The rental equipment was top notch and everyone who worked there, from the pro shop to the lifts were so nice. We skied for 3 days and the runs were great everyday, no matter what the weather. The views from the lifts and the top of the runs were breathtaking.
If you are there Thursday-Sunday after 4 pm there are free gondola rides to the top of the mountain. Perfect for people in your party that don’t ski but want to see the spectacular views! Top notch resort.

My family really enjoyed the Nature Snowshoe Tour with our guide, Morgan. The route was really beautiful and it was such a relaxing way to experience the slopes. My parents came from sea level and had never snowshoed, and there were other families with younger children. Morgan was very knowledgeable and accommodating for the pace everyone needed. She included regular breaks to stop and take in the surroundings and she shared interesting information about the area. She helped up create wonderful holiday memories!
My son and I had a great SnoGo Tour with Katie and James. They were also very knowledgeable and adjusted to the varied needs of our group. The individualized instruction from our guides was really great. We don't ski or snowboard but we will definitely Snow Bike again!
We had a great time tubing here as well. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and there was so much to do, even for those of us who weren't skiing/snow boarding.

Top notch! The shuttle ride was easy and the driver was so friendly and helpful. The lines were short and the trails were great! My friend got ran over by a reckless boarder, and the ski patrol took his pass away. The staff were absolutely amazing and seemed to go out of there way to make my experience the best.

We were first time skiers and opted to take private lessons. Very expensive…but the personal instruction was very valuable…especially when being taught by a man that has been on that hill for 50 years! John McKenzie is the epitome of a professional. He is kind, helpful, accommodating, and one heck of a teacher. In a short time, we were already skiing successfully. I recommend lessons and highly recommend John! I mean this sincerely….he could not have done anything better to make our experience enjoyable and fruitful. Great skier and even better human being.
Winter park was crowded for Spring Break but there were not long lines for lifts, low lines for food, rental equipment line was super quick. It is well run!
We did not stay on property but John encouraged us to come back and stay on-site on our next visit.
All-in-all. We loved Winter Park and will return.

My favorite skiing place in the world. Very accessible from Denver with amazing snow all winter. You wont be bored as WP offers a wide variety of runs from double blacks to greens but by far the best thing is the trees. Mountain wide you’ll find fun and unique trees for all levels. The food really good but only at lunch rock everywhere else is highly underwhelming. As for housing and the village its small but there is a good sushi place and lots of good places to stay slightly outside of the village.

Hometown Ski Resort with small town feel. close to Denver and accessible with the ski tram from the airport. My favorite ski area in the world because it always has the best powdery snow every season and the food is always great. Easy to expert ski trails for every skill level and great Ski Coaches for the little one to learn to ski while you enjoy a few runs Solo.

This is our second time skiing at Winter Park Resort and it has been great! I wanted to write this review for my 1:1 private lesson with Adam S. He was incredible- so patient and understanding with teaching me how to handle my anxiety with skiing and control my speed/turns. Winter Park is truly lucky to have a great employee as a skiing instructor! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

Fantastic resort! Amazing runs. Fast lines. Amazing staff! We had great snow while we were there with a wide variety of run types and difficulties. A lot of runs would be more difficult at other ski resorts: greens are blues, and blues are advanced-intermediate.

Have been to Winter Park 4 years in a row now. Great place to ski! Very reasonable driving distance to Denver's airport, which is one of the big reasons we keep going back. The Winter Park ski lift lines are not near as bad as Breckenridge, but the lift lines for the Mary Jane Park can get pretty long on the weekends and spring break. We have stayed at multiple lodging options on site. Zephyr Mountain Lodge is the nicest, but also the most expensive. Iron Horse is the best ski in/ski out option, but you really have to plan out your runs (especially near the end of the day) in order to make it back to your lodge.
Philip Sluka — Google review
Parking here is a real challenge. The base layout is poor. Many options force you to walk through the village which is long and skinny. Other options are far from the lifts and you are at the mercy of unreliable shuttles. I also found both the interactive grooming map on the web and the grooming layer in the app to be unreliable. Not great. The mountain itself is nice and the lifts well thought out.
Bob Ramstad — Google review
Amazing scenery and views and actually most of the staff is really great and helpful. Perhaps because it’s the busiest week of the year, but our very expensive zephyr lodge room left a lot to be desired. First, it stunk to high heavens. Someone cooked something that should be illegal. Second, we had zero soup or shower gel in the room. We rented from resort, not from renter. And when we tried to get basic amenities, the guy started asking us a ton of questions. They wouldn’t let us drop off luggage and made us change in garage. We arrived 4 hours before check in. Check out of course is at 10am… for this price, we should have been given red carpet. Or at least some soap, you know? never staying in this lodge again.
Dmitriy K — Google review
The lodging was great and they were pretty accommodating to my group. I have skied at a decent amount of resorts and if you love alpine terrain, this place has lots to choose from. The one thing I didn't care for was that they had a lot of cat walk areas and it wasn't easy getting to the other side of the mountain. I had a good time, nothing went wrong. They did their part by providing what they said they would.

We spent two days skiing and took the complimentary tour, both guides Cindy Vito and Kevin G (forgot his last name) were excellent showing us around and covering all major regions. The trails are well groomed we had a wonderful time. We will definitely make it a stop at least once a year!
Popular, family-friendly snow-tubing area with a broad open slope, a lift & gear rentals.
We love this tubing spot. A great place for both children and adults. For the last 10 years we have been riding here at least once a year. Great slope of the mountain and free tubing ride - it's a great combination. An hour or an hour and a half of riding is enough to get the hang of it. There are lifts on both sides of the mountain to take you up. The serving staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place for everyone!

This was a lot of fun. It’s a very large and well-maintained hill. I’d say it was a little busy so sign in took perhaps 15 min. It feels like the logistics of sign in could be a tad more streamlined, but it didn’t detract significantly from the experience. This was well worth the drive up from Denver. Highly recommend!

Sliding with good speed but nothing to hit and very stable tubes. All you have to do is sit in the tube and enjoy!

So much fun!!! We paid by the hour, and one hour was enough for us, but worth it. The conveyer belt is easy to maneuver with your tube. Staff was pleasant and even put fresh wood on the fire when we were done and sitting on the benches. The black hill is definitely the biggest and the best. Tips: secure your hats! They will fly off. Secure magnetic clip on sunglasses! They will also fly off. Wear ski bibs/pants and snow boots. The ground to climb after the conveyer is slick and you need good traction. Definitely go down a hill with your whole group holding on to each other’s tubes! It’s a blast

Just outside of winter park you will find the Fraser Tubing Hill. We have gone here numerous times over the years. Fast hills, a few smaller jumps, and good tubes. This place should be recognized as a spotlight of Colorado! I hate to bring attention to the places I like because good reviews will most certainly keep a place really busy, making the wait time for a tube, longer. But this place made my group of 17 very happy! We arrived later the day (3p.m.) and after checking in at the top of the stairs, we had to wait about 20 minutes for 15 tubes. They are very durable tubes with a protective cover with durable handles. The cover on the tube also helps if things fall out of your pockets! We slid down a well kept hill until our hearts were content. You pay for 60 minutes or 90 minutes. No helmets required. There were workers at the bottom to make sure everyone got down safely. After sliding to the bottom, we walked over to the tube pulley and got pulled up the hill, while sitting on our tube, no climbing necessary. When we finished, we returned our tubes and got some yummy coffee and hot cocoa to go! The tube rental area (up the stairs) also has a nice area to sit and warm up by the fire. My husband spent a whole hour by the fire with our 2 year old and enjoyed himself as well. We'll be back for sure!

So much fun! The tubes are excellent and sturdy. The fact that there is a lift to take you back up makes everyone feel welcome to have fun. The views are stunning as well. Sleds are fun and all, but here you get to go on an exhilarating ride without the fear of flipping and tumbling the rest of the way down the hill.

Family-run snow tubing with multiple tube lifts (second tube lift operates if capacity warrants). Staff is friendly, tube hill and walkways are well maintained and there are ample conventional restrooms and porta-potties at the entrance (top of the hill). The lodge offers candy and other concessions.
We have visited twice and not had any issue with parking at either. And possibly my favorite part is that you can tube until 10pm (get there before 9pm because the register closes for rides at that point).
My 6yo rode with me as per the policy, and at age 7 she'll be eligible to ride in her own tube. Hourly rides are $30 at the time of our visit (Jan 2023) and you may ride for longer as well. Cash is preferred (there's a transaction fee of $3 for paying with a credit card).
Highly recommended!

Incredible experience. Came in February 2022 with three kids, ages 7, 12, 16, and 55.. wait the last one was my husband :-)))) okay the tickets wait was the least favorite part, once we got the tubes the crazy awesomeness has began. In two hours we took countless rides. I don't recall laughing and screaming this much for a very long time. True recover and rejuvenation experience. Everyone had a great time. It was busy of course but sunny, well organized and my kids were so happy to get it of the house and do something together.
We will be back again. Highly recommend to families, solo travelers, and couples. Yes it takes some effort to walk back to the lift but the thrill of going down was so so worth it. We loved it.. We will be back next winter

A very chill tubing hill! The staff is super friendly. We went late in the evening so there was not too much of a crowd! This hill doesn’t have specific lanes but rather you can tube down from any part that you see best fit! And there is a lift that takes you back up the hill where you get to sit in your tube on the way back up. Very fun and worth the price!

Even though we had to wait 2 1/2 hours (The holiday season makes this a very popular activity!) we had a blast. The sun was warm while we waited and ended the day with a beautiful sunset. Lift back up is fun
Great.views from up on the hill.
Cons...( witch is not so bad) is that the hill.is so steep through run leaves you far from the lift.

Great value and crazy fun experience! You pay for an hour or 90 minutes and can get quite a few runs in. Ingenious pulley system gets you back up the hill to go again, without having to lug your tube up the hill. We had 14 in our group and had a blast on a nice February day. Highly recommend this alternative activity if you're in the area. It was worth the drive from our AirBnB in Grand Lake. Going on a Friday instead of Saturday paid off big time as the crowd wasn't bad at all.

I just realized I’ve never reviewed Fraser Tubing Hill! It’s been a few years since we have been here, previously it was our annual tradition for many years. It’s just as great as it ever was. YES I’ve been next door, and NO it’s not as awesome! Why pay more for less?? And this is a family business which always means you’ll get better service.
This place has good people and a great time to be had for all. My 3&5 yr olds (who LOVED flying down the hill just as much as the older kids) had a blast playing with the owners granddaughter in the snow. Just an all around GREAT place to experience one of the best parts of Colorado! See you next year Fraser Tubing Hill!
**I do recommend dressing in layers. Especially if the sun is out you can actually get hot! There are picnic tables at the top of the hill where you can leave a backpack or whatever you need to.
We, 8 of us, went snow mobiling with Cody as our guide. He was awesome! We took the 2 hour trip at the earliest time as it was the cheapest, so we froze our toes and froze our fingers,, but it was worth the ride and worth the views. Highly recommend!!

This place was just all right. The staff was not that nice. We expected a fire pit and there was none. We went down the hill a few times and left because it was freezing and we had just came from snowmobiling. The fire pit would’ve been nice. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Try another.

Beautiful views surrounding it. I suggest going the week of thanksgiving. It’s snows and you beat the big crowds. Would not suggest the snow tubing for small kids. I was scared and I’m an adult. It’s very high and steep. Nice staff, clean bathrooms, snacks and drinks available. They made a fire at sundown which was nice. Register before you go and call to make sure snow mobiles, etc are available. I’ll definitely be back.

Good family fun. An hour was plenty of time for 6 of us to get 10+ runs in. $30 was a little pricey for admission. I appreciated that the price including helmets.
Tip: far left hill is fastest (my favorite). Far right hill is bumpiest (kids favorite). Middle hills are good to get warmed up.
Tip: there’s also snow mobile rentals onsite through a different company. With some planning I could have made a whole afternoon of the trip.

Will never come here again. Wouldn’t have came to start if I knew how this place was ran to begin with. We reserved online. We traveled 10 hours from Kansas, then another 2 hours to get here. Got there and saw a crazy long line. The pay here ticket line moved a little faster than the online reserve line, but not by much. We stood in line for nearly 3 hours before we decided to get a refund. Since we wouldn’t get to tune anyway. The guy tried to refuse a refund. The manager also had a problem with issuing a refund. Besides that, there wouldn’t have been enough helmets for the children anyway. Seems this place prefers to profit over safety. You can see the line in the picture I posted.

Long lines due to high demand. Sounds a lot like Vail. Avoid weekends afternoon crowds by coming in early or later in the evening. Expect the same on ALL HOLIDAYS! There are NO RESERVATIONS! You just pay for advance ticketing. Tubes are first come first serve! You can bring your own helmet (Any kind of helmet will do) for 17 and younger.

Such a blast. This is my second time coming here with the family and we always have a great time. They have a cozy fire pit and heater indoors to warm up. It wasn’t too packed even this time that we came during Christmas break. The views around are incredible as well.

The actual tubing hill is awesome but just be warned the staff is horrible and even after we bought tickets online we still had to wait an hour and a half in line to get checked in. I would say get there early if you can, or just go somewhere else altogether. The so-called manager Hannah called me a liar after her coworker bold face lied to me about her previous offer for a partial refund since we couldn’t use our full time after the long wait and then proceeded to yell at me in front of dozens of other customers (not to mention several other customers I saw treated in a similar fashion). The only reason I can see this 20-something disrespectful, rude girl being offered a manager position is there was no better applicants. Very disappointing how they treat their customers, hire extra help and work on your customer service. I can’t see us going back here anytime soon.

I don’t like giving poor reviews, but we paid for online reservations to “skip the line” and had to wait in line for 2 hours. Because it looked like we had at least another hour or hour and a half to check in, we asked for a refund. We wasted a lot of our vacation time here and didn’t even get to go tubing.
There’s got to be a more efficient way to check in reservations. The ticket sales line moved faster than the pre-paid line, which makes no sense.
We were very disappointed to not be able to go tubing.

Poor rating for Organizers and very low staff members. You are on your own once you get up the hill, nobody to push you down. No way to control slamming into other people if you lose control or go down with too many people.
Online book reservation line to check in was huge compared to buying tickets on site itself which was odd to me.
No way to tell who purchased double vs single tubes and anybody can grab any tube they want because people would just leave tubes near the escalator, which is fine but then don't charge extra for it.
Tubing was fun but if above issues don't matter then totally worth it.

Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! You book online, picking your date, coming and waiting to check in for an hour and a half, then you're waiting to pick up the tube for a couple of hours, then you're waiting to get on top for about 40 mins and you might be able to get 1 ride if you're lucky... This place makes no sense and no wonder they have a sign that they do no refunds because they don't provide a good service.
I understand that I came here on the Dec 29th but that's why I made a reservation in advance... So if you wanna waste your time standing in 3 different lines to get 1 ride come to this place lol

Tubing experience was good. Major issue was the people management due to holiday season/overcrowding. Manager could have been more calm and composed during racists situation rather than acting out weirdly.

Ticket buying process was easy and organized. Staff was very polite and helpful. Would be 5 stars if they had additional fire pits to gather around. The one is definitely not enough for the crowd the place draws. Kids had a blast, though!

Our family enjoyed the perfect day at Colorado Adventure Park for a morning of tubing! The magic carpet added a nice touch to getting up the hill! Staff was very friendly!! Can’t wait to return!!

Best tubing in Winter Park; our kids love this adventure. It's very safe, with a fast entry process. We recommend buying tickets online.

Ruined half a day trip to this location. Refunded money through my CC bank.
Better go next door.
Paid for the tickets online, to make sure we have the tubes and fun time sliding.
Instead - one hour in the line to check in, one hour in the line to get the tube - they didn't have any. And 30min to wait in line for the lift up. So you'd be able to get two rides only in one hour.
After talking with other visitors - seems like they removed the quota on how many people can be in the park and grossly oversold. Huge unhappy crowd. Check the video of people standing in lines.
