This is such a beautiful place. Tulips in mid May were everywhere on our visit. The house was open to visit. Amazing history! If you can visit the house, visit the house!

Such a beautiful place! The incredibly sweet and friendly staff at Kingwood truly make the whole experience wonderful. The well cared for gardens were absolutely beautiful. The perennial garden in particular blew me away, it was so incredibly vibrant and choke-full of blooms!! Everything about this place is handled with class and care. I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of the property. Tours of the manor are self guided. The on site cafe has some wonderful food options: healthy, seasonal, organic and local items available. I would stop here for just lunch alone if I lived nearby. The garden shop had an excellent variety of quality plants and garden goods at fair prices. Our visit at Kingwood far exceeded expectations. I look forward to visiting again and possibly taking some classes down the road (botanical cocktail classes, yes please!)

The grounds are so well maintained. Watching all the plants begin to bloom is exciting and we will be back to see how things look in full bloom! The peacocks and ducks are exciting to watch. So much to do here.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit & explore. The grounds are a photographer's dream! The peacocks are a treat & the staff is very friendly.

Educational and beautiful. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. They shared lot of the history of the home and gardens. The green houses were also beautiful. A large variety of plants, I loved all the air plants and cactus varieties. We stopped in mid-week and it wasn't too busy. They also have a little cafe were you can grab coffee and a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend stopping if you are in Mansfield.

I visited the center today with my family for the first time. I was impressed with the beautiful, well-maintained variety of gardens. Walking trails in the woods are easy and pretty. The buildings and statues were historic and lovely. The peacock roaming the grounds was a bonus. Lots of butterflies and birds. Currently, they have a special Lego display event that is wonderful to see—plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable. We spent about 2 & ½ hours there but could have spent more time in the mansion (main house). The website is very detailed.

The most beautiful gardens and ground. Loved visiting here. The house tour was wonderful despite not being able to see the 3rd floor. The price was reasonable and well worth the time to visit. Highly recommend any one interested in history and gardening to put this on your to do list.

We drove down from Cleveland on a spur-of-the-moment and we had a very nice time. Really enjoyed the Kingwood House and all of the surrounding gardens. Unlike Holden Arboretum, which can get crowded on Holiday weekends, there were plenty of peaceful and secluded spots to picnic, smoke medicinal herbs and have a beer or just break out a hammock and enjoy a book and a snooze! I&I would highly recommend for a day trip as the $8 admission is well worth the drive! The speeding ticket I&I got on the way back was annoying but, I was doing 84 in a 65 so...We will be visiting again!

To all botanical garden fans, don't miss this place!! Terrific walking trails throughout the sprawling gardens. I visited in the fall which made the experience extra special! The mansion is open on the grounds as well. Don't miss the Lego exhibit this year!!

Longwood Center Garden is a wonderful place for all ages and mobility.
There is a great children's area, along with a story book trail, which is paved.
There are plenty of shaded areas.
Those in a wheelchair have plenty of access to areas. (I'm trying to remember if there was any area that was stairs only. I believe one way might be by stairs, but another would be accessible through the grass.)
Every area was clean - gardens, greenhouse, cafe, restrooms and gift shop.
We strolled for about 3 1/2 hours and will be returning to see a few things we missed.
Entry for adults was $8, which is more than reasonable.
Lego display was fantastic, but be sure to check the website as I believe it is leaving this month sometime.
Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it! We went primarily to see the Lego sculptures by Sean Kenney, but fell in love with the whole estate. The gardens are simply gorgeous. So many flowers and plants. The trails and walk ways around the estate are well tended to. There is an amazing Storybook trail. The ponds were lovely. The greenhouse was so amazing with all the different plants. And the actual house/museum was really neat to walk through. Overall, a stunning place to visit. The Lego sculptures were super neat and fun to see as well. A nice little gift shop and a Cafe on site as well. Plenty of benches to sit throughout and a few restrooms as well.

I took my two young boys here along with some of my HS friends. It is so beautiful! Everything is well cared for, and the staff is super friendly. The mansion was open for self guided tours, and the summer exhibit was massive Lego structures. There were also two peacocks roaming. Admission was only $8 too. We will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

Me and my husband went for the total eclipse and let me tell you it was such a delight. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, even though the event had them working hard. The food was spectacular. The gardens/mansion itself were stunning, even in the sparse blooms of Spring there was enough biodiversity to really let the meadows be filled with swaths of yellow and purple flowers. The peacock is a plus, too.
Leland Rogers — Google review
If you are into gardens and going through mansions, this is okay place. It's a lot of walking. If you don't like walking, this might not be enjoyable. As of now all the floors are open in the main house for you to see and you can take your time and stroll through. You can take as many pictures as you want. They also have a lot of Legos sculptures all around the garden and in the main house

Perfect spot for our picnic! We brought our own food in and found a shady spot to eat lunch. The employees are very friendly and the gardens were gorgeous. We had fun meandering around and looking for the peacocks. Also loved the special lego displays.

I’ve been coming to this park since I was a little girl, it’s one of my favorite places to visit back home. They always have unique displays, currently being the legos in the garden. I love that they put them outdoors on display! A must visit if your in the area. The ground are immaculate and the flowers are amazing!

We enjoyed the competition. Having a backpack with a cushion, jackets, snacks, and drinks (you can bring it in, just can't bring alcohol) worked well for us. The food was good. We had the chicken tenders bucket. Some vendors are cash-only, but most accept credit cards. Be sure to wear your sunscreen!!

We had an excellent time attending the 45th Night Under Fire event. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the stock series. Running a bunch of street/strip cars just kind of underwhelming to watch. I feel they should have their own separate event. A lot of people left the stands for that part. People were there for the Top Fuel rails, funny cars, and bikes. The nostalgia drags, jet dragsters and jet truck as well. Everything else is just time filler. However it was still a good time. They had some big name top fuel guys / and girl there. Seeing John Force In person was definitely a highlight for me. Bob Mots with his jet truck is always entertaining. The announcers for the show do an excellent job and are very entertaining. They have a ton of food and merchandise vendors there. Their fireworks display at the end actually shocked me how big and long it lasted. Their fireworks show could rival what some towns / cities put on. In closing, this event was really top notch. It was worth every penny. Me judging the street / strip cars is just my opinion. Maybe people like that. I just feel it slows things down compared to the rest of the show. But again, it's an all day event. There is a lot of time to kill. If you are thinking about going I'd say definitely do it. However you might want to show up around 5:30 or so. The main event really didn't kick of until around 6:30 or 7:00. It's a really a good event that's fairly priced.

Had a blast at the NMCA All-American Nationals in Norwalk, August 2023. Nice track, well maintained and prepped for each race, clean grounds and stands, good food. Went there primarily for the Hemi Shootout but enjoyed watching the other races and enjoyed the car show.

The Bader Family never disappoints! Another fantastic Night Under Fire. Had a minor issue with kids running back and forth and standing at the rail in front of handicapped, but after not listening to two ushers, the deputy sheriff's came and the rest of the night was enjoyable. A very emotional opening ceremony, but that's what family does. And loved the new handicapped parking. Lots of room and so smooth on the grass, great call Bill!

Top notch venue. Clean, efficient parking and ticket processing. Track well prepped and track staff very attentive to track conditions throughout the day. Attended the Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals. Car show, swap meet, and racing all in one place!

We went for the Ford homecoming event and had a great time. This track is beautiful and very well organized. The grounds are very well kept and clean, they work hard to keep it nice for racers. Best ice cream I've ever had! We can't wait to go back to run our cars in NMRA next year!!

Sprawling, 250-acre park built on former factory grounds featuring hiking trails, a museum & lakes.
Checked this place out with my husband and it's an interesting park with of course a fantastic view from the tower. We'll almost certainly be returning to check it all out again because there was more to see than we had time for that day.
Michelle Rene' — Google review
This is an amazing park. It's also big. There is so much to see and do. The highlight for me was the observation deck on the smokestack. The ruins of some of the factory that used to be here and buildings still intact is like an outdoor museum. I was unaware of the lakes and ponds that are part of the park.A pleasant surprise.

What a fantastic park in Mount Vernon That pays homage to the industrial past of the glass factory
So unique
Lots of bike riders pass through on the trails.
Be Pol — Google review
Very interesting. You should check out if you have a few. Takes a little bit to walk through the whole park but very cool scenery and very rich in the history. They host events here as well would definitely make a great spot for photos, an event, or industrial wedding theme. Also you can go to the top of the tower and get a great Ariel view but they do shut down the entrance to it around 8 or 9. It shuts down at dusk and opens at dawn I believe.
Henry Daigle — Google review
Such a lovely park and a wonderful memorial to the glass factory that once stood on the grounds. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the ruins and steel structures but I really enjoyed walking up the 238 steps to the top of Rastin Observation Tower. If you can make it to the top it offers some pretty incredible views!
Tonya Strazdins — Google review
An amazing landscape architect and sculpture had to be involved here. What a triumph - turning an industrial wasteland into a beautiful park. I’ve never seen anything like it. Kudos to the community activists and benefactors behind this brilliant project.

This park is not on man's radar. It is an old glass factory made into a park. Just cool stuff. Beautiful backdrop for picts.
Tina Powell — Google review
I was really pleased to find this place, it definitely is interesting for what it is. It was massive compared to some parks I have been to. And it was walker friendly for most of it. Some people had their dogs unchained which was a little unnerving bcz they did not have control of their pups. It's also interesting to look at & not, all the same time. Some of it was a cool art display but when you look at it as just twisted metal that was donated from somewhere else or whatever you just kind of stared at it. The ruins are probably the best part. To see what things lasted for how long. I don't know if I would stop by again, but again pleased I found it, and pleased it was such a nice day that I was there. Did not get to explore the whole place but still it was a thing to do.
S H — Google review
Wow! This park is amazing! Loved the ruins and the ability to walk up the giant tower. If you go you have to do that! There is parking in several areas. We did every trail and got 3.1 miles of walking. Every part of the park was beautiful and well maintained. There are restroom facilities in two location. There is a small museum but it wasn’t open when we went. There are trash containers everywhere and plenty of benches, picnic tables and swings around the lake and other areas. The trails are paved so it is completely accessible.
Cheryl Evans — Google review
What a stunning and unusual park!!! I absolutely LOVE repurposed old buildings but have never seen a park dedicated to that like this! The glass river was fascinating, as well as the Rastin Observation Tower. All of the old ruins around the park and terraces create just a whole "experience" like none you've had.
Nicholas Klein — Google review
This park is absolutely amazing! A lot of work went into it.
It's not like most your parks, with amazing views due to the steepe style land design, and artifacts from the past, with informational plaques around, this is a must see park.
For the geocashers, this is a great spot! Multiple caches on location. If you are near this park, please take the time to go see it!
Opened in 1961, this family-owned resort with a lodge features winter skiing, snowboarding & tubing.
Snow trails is the best! My 14 year old son started skiing last year and loves it! Great hobby for him and his buddies ! I’m even skiing now at 47 and never thought it could be this fun. We only live about 45 min away in the hills to the south east and we go all the time.
I personally appreciate how we are not forced to wear masks inside and it’s your personal choice , the way America should be! If you want to wear one great ! if you don’t don’t! The atmosphere is just awesome for my family and friends. It’s like being normal again in public and everyone is just happy!!!! Feel very fortunate to have this establishment in our area for everyone to enjoy in the winter months.
The staff is great , the food is great and the ski shop gets my money all the time ha ha.

Had a great time tubing! Great bang for the buck! Was able to go down the hill 8-10 times in the 2 hour time slot, Not overly crowded, and the conveyor belt back to the top helped immensely 😂! The staff was really good for being a bunch of young kids. Highly recommend!

5 stars!!!
Best time ever, we had an awesome day yesterday! We booked the ski lesson package & tubing for my sisters birthday. Tubing was so fun we went down the mountain 7–8 times in our 2 hr slot and still had time left over. John our skiing instructor was so patient and very outgoing, he definitely made our day! We spent most of the day on the beginner slope & gradually worked our way up. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good. Highly recommended will definitely be back!

Love this place! I wanted to teach my daughter how to ski and didn't want to have a 2.5 hr wait for rentals. This place was fantastic! There was a greeter at the entrance to the parking lot that explained where I can go get rentals and my lift tickets (they can print out tickets the same place you pick up rentals). He was very courteous and very helpful. There is a parking lot near the rentals that had plenty of spaces and the walk was really quick to the building. There was maybe two people in line ahead of us and 3 people registering people in. We were in and out of the rental shop with our lift tickets in under 15 minutes. The slopes were also great as they had plenty of runs for a beginner. The lodge was also great, although crowded. Food was good and atmosphere was fun for a ski lodge. This is my new favorite place to take the family. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Snow tubing was great. Pretty busy, so there was a line, but that's to be expected on such a nice night. Got there a little early tland decided to check out the ski shop. It was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Walked to the bar to get a drink and pretty much got ignored by the bartender. No worries, maybe it was a sign lol. Went down to get our lift tickets and picked out our tube and off we we went.
The staff helping with the tube and fire were great! I highly recommend doing this! One thing worth mentioning if you've never done this (like us). We attached ourselves to each other (5 of us) and honestly caught some good speed. It was a little scary at first but really fun!

We took a last minute trip to Ohio for President’s Day and tried to book some tickets in advance and everything was booked. We called on Friday on the way up from North Carolina and Jason in the lessons department was able to get all 5 of the kids in our party a snowboarding lesson and we purchased the starter package. Our kids had the best time Saturday learning to snowboard with Ellen. We spent some good time in the lodge and the bartenders and staff were amazing. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for some winter fun.

Wonderful place to go tubing! We had a range of ages in our group from ten to fifty-four year olds. We all had a great time! The staff were all helpful and friendly, which helped the experience. They joked around with everyone and took pictures for us. The course was quick, but not too fast. And the conveyor belt to go back up the hill was a lifesaver.
Kim Pugh — Google review
My kids loved snow tubing! Only negative, in my opinion, was if you haven't been there before, they give no direction, we just had to look around to see what everyone else was doing, including the attendants at the top. Overall, it was a good experience. Sitting by the fire to warm up with hot chocolate was great. My kids have asked to go back!

Best ski resort in Ohio. Everyone is super friendly, especially to kids. The bartender has been working there for multiple years and is very nice. One of the few places left that care about the guests and not just money. They even have concerts and parties!
Jacob Robertson — Google review
Great place to start your toddler or child skiing! They have two magic carpets one with a very gradual slope for very beginner and another that goes halfway up a slightly steeper hill for the beginner that feels more comfortable. Then there is the same beginner hill with a chair lift to practice on. Perfect for someone who has never done it before. Better than Boston Mills Brandywine for the beginner skier by a long shot.

I can't say enough about how great my experience has been at Snow Trails each time I've visited this season. Winter weather has been almost non-existent this year but it doesn't show at Snow Trails, because the team there has taken advantage of every single snow making opportunity this season to provide the best conditions possible. They truly put their guests first and provide excellent operations to make the entire experience a positive one... every time. They operate at 100% lift capacity most days keeping wait times at low to none. From lift attendants to guest services reps, to food service, I'm aways greeted with a friendly welcome, a smile and even sometimes a fist bump :). It feels like family, probably because it is owned and operated by one rather than a large corporation. Snow trails really is Ohio's first AND FINEST!
Matt Yohman — Google review
Moved here from Texas and when I went to buy a snowboard I asked the guy that sold it to me where the best place was around here and he told me go to snow trails. After coming here a few times this season I am definitely pleased. The runs aren’t as long as colorado and the views aren’t as nice but they put a ton of work into shaping the snow here and it really makes a huge difference. Definitely some good steepness to a lot of the runs, no problem picking up speed and they put a lot of work into making nice hills and contours on some of the slopes which I love. Several jumps of varying sizes and terrain park with lots of boxes and rails. Great place for skiing and snowboarding when the temps allow. On warm days make sure to get some warm weather wax on your board.
Just got back from a morning bike ride with the family. This is a really nice, peaceful trail with a lot of scenery. It runs along the Kokosing river in Mt. Vernon and continues to Gambier to the south. Nice little getaway for some morning exercise and relaxation.

This is a great trail to walk or ride your bike. I travel all the way from Columbus because this is my favorite trail to ride my bike 25-40 miles. There is a tree canopy for most of the trail so you don’t have to worry much about getting too hot or getting too much sun. The initial ride is along the River on one side and a big wooded hill on the other. The trail doesn’t have many big hills to ride over, it’s pretty level.

This is a wonderful Rails to Trails ride. We did 10 miles and back for 20 total. Lots of wildlife and great scenery along the way. It was a completely paved trail that had lots of stopping points, plenty of benches and great views. Well worth the visit.

I love this trail, great huge bridges, great country ride, very
Quiet, all paved, clean, air is fresh. I rode this trail way back in 1996, great wild flowers in early spring, early summer. Lots of tree covered riding, some grades, not bad. TAKE LOTS OF WATER WHEN YOU RIDE. AND ENJOY NATURE.!!
Rich Toth — Google review
The trail was blocked by fallen trees from recent storms. I rated the trail high assuming the trees will be quickly cleared. The ride is scenic, mostly shaded, and the surface is in good shape.
William Seiter — Google review
I can only speak to about 10 miles of the trail but it is seriously one of the best I’ve been on for biking and walking.
There’s a lot of wildlife too. During my quick ride today I saw a deer and two groundhogs. A lot of the trail is surrounded by trees which provides nice shade / scenery. I love that there are benches throughout and I love the bridges!
I have tried to rollerblade here before and while it was okay it can be tricky due to the sticks and debris from the trees etc.

Booked this for my daughter's birthday since she wanted to go. Booking went great no issues staff was friendly the entire time with al my questions. Once we arrived everyone was pleasantly nice and encouraging since this was our first time. The nervous anxiety hit a peak on the climb to the first line but after that first zip we were all hooked. My daughter's only complaint was we couldn't go all day. We will be booking another trip soon hoping to take the whole family.

I had a terrible time when I visited common ground. I was kicked off the course halfway through because I couldn’t get the hang of manually breaking. The guides didn’t care to listen when I was asking for advice. Instead I was embarrassed and told I would NOT be getting a refund. So beware future zip line guests… if you need extra attention to get the hang of it, you won’t get it here. And you won’t get a refund if you can’t finish.

Fantastic experience! Our guides were friendly and efficient as we zipped through the trees, sharing tidbits about the plants and animals in the area. Sizable state park with a scenic gorge, river & hemlock forest, plus campsites & lake view cabins.
This was my first time hiking at Mohican State Park. I started at the gorge overlook. It has amazing views. I then took a very steep trail from the overlook down to Clear Fork Mohican River. There is a new cable bridge that takes you across the river to a trail that I took to a covered bridge and then on to Big Lyons Falls and Little Lyons Falls. I was very impressed by the trails and how they are clearly marked. The river is beautiful as it winds its way through the gorge. The falls didn't have much water going over but the rock formations and the challenging hike was worth it. Mohican State Park is truly one of the best state parks in Ohio.

I stayed in campground B which is great because it's close to several trail heads and cost less. Water does not taste great, but the pit toilets were very clean and practically no smell, even in 85 degree heat. The river was very high as you can see. This was a nice experience because it was not busy. It would be very tight on a busy summer weekend though. I did shower in campground A. They were very clean and they also have a great camp store.

We stayed in the Cabin Camper #2. Small but functional cabin with a full size bed and a bunk bed, small table for 2, desk area, microwave, mini fridge and freezer. The fire ring had a small grill cooking over it. There was a window unit with heat and ac. My son is 6’4 and could stand comfortably. It’s actually much larger than it looks. Bathrooms are a short walk away. It was very quiet during the week. We enjoyed hearing barred owls around the fire at night. There was a nice playground not far. Very little traffic near the cabin. We enjoyed a family friendly hike to lyons falls that was a short drive from the campground.

We went on a Saturday in April that was pretty chilly but had a really good time. There were other people there but it wasn't too busy. We took a trail that was a little more difficult. You go down steep inclines and then it takes you along the river and then you go back up any steeper incline were at some spots you have to climb a small ladder at 90° angle or grab onto tree roots to help pull you up the incline because it's so steep. The trail itself was maybe only 18 in wide at some spots and a little bit muddy and sketchy. If you're not very athletic or get winded easily, I would not recommend that trail. Probably if you are afraid of heights that might not be the one for you either. I was definitely winded multiple times and had to stop and pause. But it was worth it and I want to go back when the weather is a little warmer. We would also like to go down there to camp and canoe at the canoe rental. There is also a ropes course and putt-putt at the spot we stopped at.

We use to camp and canoe here as kids. It's been a long time. Still love this place. Had forgotten how many campsites and cabins there are. Glad to have an electric site; freeze warnings tonight. But, the sun feels so good!

Had a great time primitive camping hiking and site-seeing! Be aware that there is NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION. They do have decent wifi up at the main camp grounds. Good place to get away for no electronics allowed retreat!

Had just a great time hiking through the St Park yesterday, 12/28. Low trail surfaces are muddy, but manageable (hiking boots, please). Some people traffic, but still plenty of time alone in the forest. Plenty of terrain variation if you want a workout. Looking forward to going back.

Campground was full for Easter weekend in April, WOW. Enjoyed the Lyon Falls trial. Walked it all the way around down over the covered bridge. Took us beginner's about 1.5 hours. River was high and fast so we didn't do much fishing. My only complaint is WHY DO PEOPLE FEEL ITS OK TO PUT THERE DOG IN THE CAMPER, GO TO ANOTHER SITE AND ALLOW IT TO BARK FOR 5 STRAIGHT HOURS?

Hiked from the Mohican Lodge and Conference center to Big/Little Lyon Falls to the covered bridge and back. Trails were a bit muddy, but being bridle trails I wasn’t surprised. It was a great 11.5mi hike. Only time I’ve been to Mohican was to paddle, but hiking is so much more pretty and less crowded than the river. Can’t wait to go back again to check out more trails.

First time visit the Mohican state park! Great park with multiple walking trails! Visited two waterfalls, but the waterfalls flow so low! The most of trails are shaded in the forest! Not hot at all! One of the trail has some challenges with ladders! So interesting 😊

Mohican Gorge Loop trail is a very fun 1.8 mile loop. Tons of elevation change. From the parking lot I went to the left and it's 10-15 min of switchbacks to get you down to the bottom of the gorge and takes you along Clear Fork River. I did some rock hounding along the banks. Continuing on the loop you come to the new cable bridge. It's fun to cross, swings and stays a bit. When you cross the cable bridge it connects you to a longer trail (map sign is right there) but I didn't have time for a different trail today. Next time for sure. I went back over the cable bridge and continued on the gorge loop trail. You pretty quickly start the ascent back to the parking lot and it is NO JOKE! Very steep incline and climb. Some helpful steps have been installed and one portion you have to climb a ladder! Very cool and great exercise. There are 2 nice restrooms, and overlook viewing areas. Also a nice area w picnic tables and a grill. I can't wait to go back and do more exploring.

Spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon here with my family. We completed the Gorge Overlook Trail. Just to add, in my opinion, DO NOT attempt this trail if you have small kids or knee trouble. The decline/incline is significant. Otherwise, it’s absolutely gorgeous here.

A worthwhile and well-maintained state park with plentiful hikes in middle of Ohio. In between Cleveland and Columbus, Mohican State park offers a calming escape from the happenings of life. Bring binoculars to view variety of birds and the nestling hills.

The falls were neat. River trail though was pretty advanced and quite a few spots you can fall if you are not careful. Even so, really neat views and there are cool spots they have with a spot to stick a camera or phone and set a timer for a picture.

I recently visited a state park, and it was a nature lover's paradise. The hiking trails were a highlight, offering a variety of terrains to explore. Along the way, I encountered a picturesque river stream that added to the charm of the park.
The scenic views were breathtaking, with lush greenery, towering trees, and glimpses of wildlife. It was a photographer's dream, and I couldn't resist capturing the beauty around me.
What made this park even more enjoyable was the soothing sound of the river stream as I hiked. It provided a serene backdrop to my outdoor adventure.
In conclusion, this state park is a hiker's haven, complete with a tranquil river stream and stunning scenic views. If you're seeking a nature escape, I highly recommend a visit. It's a perfect blend of natural beauty and outdoor exploration.

We stayed at the primitive campground by the river. We kayaked and fished. Hiking was excellent. Check in was a little difficult. With no cell phone service or Internet we had to register at the State Park office. Overnight stay was $25. Next time I'll bring my Ohio buckeye card and save 50%. Very scenic and quiet at night. Remember flash lights, it's very dark at night.
Unexpected tourist stop on I 71 that has become a destination for many. Such a delightful surprise! Reminiscent of a small town farmers market, offering nostalgia and homemade candies, fudge, jams, spreads, meats, tons of cheeses, snacks, gifts, etc. The atmosphere is friendly and the entire place is clean and well kept. Tons of free samples and a cafe ready to make you a fresh sandwich. If you’re a cheese and candy lover, this place is Heaven on earth!

I've driven by this place a lot over the past 9 years and finally decided to stop in. Now I'll stop each time. 😊 This place is huge. The upstairs is filled with cheese of all flavors and different meats. Lots of snacks, tea,, ice cream and misc. downstairs along with a place to get lunch.
Staff is so friendly and they offer samples. Even in the candy shop! The kids were excited and I didn't complain 😉. I was so busy looking I didn't get photos inside.

Loved it!! You may sample any cheese in the store, same with the candy part. Great tasty samples...was not let down...I could've been here for hours but I had to get moving. Got some goodies and I'm good now.

We came for the fresh local honey but we conquered the cheese! We arrived less than 30 minutes before closing but the staff was super friendly. The owner (or manager) saw us oohing over the cheese section and brought us over for tastings. Definitely a great place to visit! 👍

This place is really neat. First off it’s easy to get to from the interstate and there’s plenty of large vehicle parking.
They’ve got a few buildings to check, but you should start with the big one. Huge selection of all sorts of food. Cheese, meats, snacks, jelly, sauces, I could go on and on. They’ve got a small restaurant that serves a perfect lunch. Mostly sandwiches.
The other building we went in had candy galore. Lots of unique stuff.
Well worth the stop for sure!!!

Fun and unique experience to break up the travel to Cleveland. Two different buildings - one has all the cheese and lots of other fun stuff. The other has lots of different candies, chocolate, fudge, etc. There is also an ice cream shop. As you walk up outdoor music is playing classic oldies - reminds me of Kings Island water Park. There is outdoor seating with a view of a pond. They use the old style huge, clunky registers to ring you up. Lots of staff so you won't wait in line and all are very friendly. The cheese is good - many different offerings. They let you try before buying. The chocolates are amazing. If it has a special seal on it - they make it there. Highly recommend the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Prices are more expensive for the handmade but worth it.

Ummm, they have a barn full of cheese! We had 300 miles left on our road trip, but saw a sign for Grandpa's Cheesebarn, so, yeah, here we are. If you love fermented cow juice with random flavors added as much as I do, don't miss this cheese lovers playground. They have plenty of samples to keep you full for days. Well worth the detour.

Grandpa's Cheesebarn is a GEM! There is SO much to try! It is very nice that you can sample just about everything before you buy. The staff is super friendly and the food that we purchased is very high quality. Nice little touch that you can buy an insulated bag and they provide an ice pack. Also, very nice little area between the cheesebarn and the candy store where you can sit and enjoy the things you purchased! LOVE this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, bought way too much lol. So much to choose from, the selections of cheeses and other snack foods are tremendous. Variety is amazing
Then go to their sweet shoppe and again the selections of new and old fashion treats are never ending.
A bit pricey but the quality is excellent. 18 yr old cheddar is $39.99 a pound, we bought a small block and it is awesome. The double dipped malt balls are great but too much wax in the chocolate for me personally. Homemade thick fudge is awesome.
Looking forward to a trip back in a few months.

Such a fun stop. When we arrives I didn’t know the cheese was on the 2nd floor of the. Barn. I literally went up 2 steps up the stairs and was hit with a strong cheese smell. It was amazing. Tons of stuff to look through. Different flavors and variety. We had a really fun time checking out and sampling all the different snacks. Really looking forward to make some broccoli cheddar soup, with this red onion cheddar!

I've been an Ohio resident my entire life, and after 29 years, I FINALLY visited Grandpa's Cheese Barn. 🧀 This place is a staple in the midwest and now I personally know why. This place is massive and there are endless varieties of cheeses, jams, fudge, and gifts. 🎁 You can sample any of the cheese or fudge products, which was nice because there are some strange concoctions that we just had to try (aka, the apple pie cheese). 😆 We bought a handful of goodies from both the cheese barn and the candy store next door. This was a great pitstop on the way back to Columbus from Cleveland.

So many unique cheeses! The cheeses are upstairs, and you can sample as many as you like. Just ask one of the friendly staff behind the counter. My daughter tasted a 19 year old sharp cheddar. I ended up purchasing a smokey bacon ranch cheese, so good! The staff has stories to tell on different cheeses.
There are 2 candy stores, but we were only focused on the cheeses.
Been twice, each time is a blast! This isn't your one and done place. This is 8 ziplines that are connected and run high in the trees. The guides are funny, friendly, and well trained. The views are awesome. You're in the woods the whole time with no civilization in sight. The power assisted jump at the end gets your heart pounding. My kids weren't sure about the whole thing but they all enjoyed it so much! I will say that after doing this, other places seem so pointless. The price is worth doing at least once.

A 50th birthday present little getaway for my husband, and thought I'd throw in something adventurous. A little uncertain I'd love it too with my limited zip line experience and was thrown by the "need to be able to lift 50 pounds" in the company info (still am?). But the reviews here led me to believe it was doable. I can say now with absolute certainty that it was a blast!! Abby and Maddie, our guides, were phenomenal- Delightful humans and expert instructors!! We felt confident in ourselves under their guidance, loved the all female staff's running of the whole experience that day, and being surrounded by the lush green flora amid the pine-y fragrance as we zipped through the trees was a euphoric natural high!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!! YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF!

The runs here are longer and faster than other ziplining experiences I've had - definitely a fun and exciting ride! The rappelling took me out of my comfort zone but the guides were great getting us all through the mental challenges to finish the course. Great time with Quinn and Mariah and 5 other people I'll never see again - but will remember for along time.
Free museum at Oberlin College featuring mostly European & American works plus global & ancient art.
This charming museum is a beauty located on, or near, the Oberlin campus. Easy to get to, and quite welcoming.
The first exhibit was the well-curayed Eva Hesse drawings, followed by a very representative amount of modern art.
The building itself is a work of art, with moldings and details rarely seen any more.
Upstairs are the print exhibits, and these were thorough and interesting.
While the Allen is not the biggest museum in Ohio, it is the real deal and definitely worth the time spent.
Staff is friendly and informative, and the facility is clean. The grounds have wonderful landscaping and sculpture too.

I was looking forward to visiting this museum but when I did, I was so disappointed at the lack of art, atmosphere etc. A few dinosaurs and that's about it. I am skipping it next time.

Went there for the first time today and was excited to see some art for free. The check-in staff member was very kind and helpful when we visited. The security guards on the other hand were a bit much. We had not been in the museum for longer than 5 minutes and the security guards had already accused us of touching the paintings, mind you we’re all old enough to know how to act appropriately in public spaces being college students and all. We then proceeded to be followed throughout the rest of our visit. The atmosphere was too quiet and we felt like if we talked too much we might get scolded again. The art was nice, but most likely won’t be returning again.

Along with the fabulous repertoire the OLO programs, I'm amazed how the whole production staff seems to come up with so much magic. The musicianship of the singers and orchestra is excellent.

An otherwise delightful performance of Girl Crazy was spoiled today (7/14) by an orchestra that was too loud (drowning out voices) and a sound system that failed in act one but was better managed in act two. Much of the dialogue and songs was indecipherable. Choreography was generally excellent. Having had season tickets for nine years, today was a disappointment.

This place is one of the most magical places on earth, and it's only 40 minutes from my house. It's a must stop for the holiday season. We got a picture with Santa. He was absolutely wonderful and kind. For seeing so many people, he was still cheerful and gave such a jolly smile for our picture. Which was $11, to me, very affordable. We were blown away by the entire experience.
My only objection was that there was only one bathroom at the end of the over two hour tour. Overall, I do highly recommend it!

We had such an amazing time. As someone who absolutely loveeeesss Christmas, I definitely recommend this place! We drove about 4 hours to get here and it was definitely worth it. You can just feel like Christmas spirit as soon as you walk through the door. We are definitely coming back next year and the year after that. The staff here is amazing. Every room is unique and you can tell a lot of thought was put into each arrangement. They don’t just have Christmas items up. Each item is unique and special and you can tell it is treated with care! I can’t stress enough how lovely this place is. Mark Klaus is like a real life Santa Claus giving people the gift of Christmas. I’m truly grateful for this place and all of the wonderful staff! Thank you so much!

Amazing place, they really packed a lot into the area. You got to learn a lot of information about certain Christmas movies, Christmas characters, the actors, and even just how some were made. A lot of it was showcasing items in movies which I felt that part was a bit boring. They did not have many areas to sit once you were in there, so it got a little tiring there. The final room was by far my favorite. There was a giant slide that was really a lot faster than I expected, and amazing things to look at. If you are looking for something to do with your family for the Christmas season, I recommend castle Noel.

I think this is a great place to visit. There are so many cool movie memorabilia items to see. I would recommend visiting here. The only thing I would like to see changed is not having to watch any videos. I would rather have extra time to look in the toy room. We really enjoyed the big slide and getting a family photo with Santa. Photos are $12 which I thought was affordable. This is a fun place for adults and children.

Having lived in Ohio most of my life, I don't understand how I never heard of this place before 3 weeks ago. It is truly an experience worth having, even for those who are not "Christmas people". The memorabilia and collection stored inside these walls is truly enchanting and the care each tour guide demonstrates to maintain that "Christmas spirit" makes it all the more enjoyable. I would recommend this place based solely on the toy room (if you know, you know) but certainly the entire experience is worth the trip.

Wish you could do a self tour. We were shuffled through like a herd of cattle. The rooms my Hubs & I wanted to see longer we weren't able to spend more time in.
I will also state that we had reserved tickets and our tour left 25 minutes behind schedule. At 10am on a weekday the 1st week of November. So, not on a weekend and not a busy time. 😕 it wasn't the experience we were hoping for. The last room was neat and I really appreciate all the hard work and wonderful restoration it takes for the decorations.
Not the Christmas joy I was hoping for.

Took our baby girl to castle Noel for her first Christmas it was absolutely wonderful! However, the group sizes for the tours were way too big and most of the time while the tour guide was explaining things we were still in the other room and we could barely hear them or see what they were talking about. Also, we were taking a back that we could not take pictures with Santa as part of our original ticket price when we bought them for the tour. but it did not ruin our experience that much. I just wish that it was just a little better.
the good outweighs the bad exponentially look forward to coming back next season

This is a true gem and a must see in Amish Country! My daughter loves seeing all the animals and feeding them carrots. This visit she wanted to ride a horse. She chose "Big Bob" and we went on a ride. She loved it. They have goats on the roof of the barn to feed via the ice-cream cone conveyor belt. They have plenty of seasonal items. Right now they had pumpkins and fall flowers. They have great food options for a snack or a meal. Overall a great place for your whole family!

A large agri-entertainment facility with a petting area (closed during our visit), a farm store and a bakery. The baked goods were, well "good" comes to mind. We bought a couple cream sticks and asked for 2 coffee to wash them down but they ran out of coffee. Everything we saw here was good. But everything we saw we had seen in two or three other places. There just wasn't anything that grabbed you. Maybe if you had kids the petting area would be an attraction. But without it, and with it being off the beaten track, we probably will skip it it the future.

Beautiful experience for kids and adults alike. Locally manufactured goods and food in the stores with the highlight being the massive petting zoo, of course!
You can buy vegetables for the animals (at super fair prices!) to feed, pet & cuddle them. Inside was also a huge canary aviary where the birds sat on your hands to pick some of the greens.
Horses, sheep, goats, bulls, alpacas, pigs, chicken, turkeys, … it’s awesome!
If that’s not enough: enjoy the beauty of the Amish countryside frequented by their classy horse carriages.

We visited this farm and bakery last Saturday. I recommend going in the bakery first getting your treats and eating them before going over to the animal exhibit. The bakery was very good clean and oh my gosh the sweets from there were divine. We had cream sticks my son had a large donut. I wanted a fry pie but though today I'll get Creamsticks. The farm part was nice my son loved it we got a kick out of all the animals. The only thing I would say is 6 dollars a person was just a little steep and then having to pay for added food it just seems a little high but we had a good time despite. And this time there was more animals

When visiting Amish Country in Ohio, Hersherger’s Farm and Bakery is always a great stop for all ages. It has been fun to watch the changes they have made to the place through the years. In addition to being a farm and bakery, there is a country craft store, a concession stand, and a petting zoo with a small fee for the kids. And, if you walk behind the craft store, you can also check out the farm’s work horses.

Lovely set of Amish shops and attractions. The line of food stalls along the market really helped drive that community market feel, too. What a wonderful place to take the kids in Amish Country! I've been to the area and driven by here so many times, but never stopped here for the petting zoo until the other day with my toddler. The petting zoo and buggy ride exceeded my expectations and they were much more affordable than I expected too. Some of the animals are even out walking around with everyone and napping in the open where the kids can pet them easily and some you can pick up and hold. It's not your average petting zoo, there were so many animals to see and pet! The bakery was great...next time I'll bring a cooler with me to buy refrigerated items. Our buggy driver was so sweet and offered such a wonderful experience! We also had delicious homemade ice cream before leaving, and they also had homemade kettle corn and local angus burgers and more! What a neat place to spend a couple hours.

Absolutely the most amazing way to spend a few hours with friends and family.
No better time to go than early October as the trees are changing colors 🍂 and the pumpkins sit arranged in the most beautiful displays.
The entire experience is unforgettable, especially for children.
If a petting zoo could EVER be described as "clean" and "orderly" this one fits the description. It's literally perfect! And the animals are incredibly healthy and well taken care of.
The Amish are some of the most extraordinary people in the world, and they do EVERYTHING with excellence. It's unmatched!
Thank you ALL for this memorable trip!

A wonderful place to visit whether alone, as a couple, with family or a large group.
So many animals. The petting area was well worth the 6 dollar (adult) admission.
We took an Amish Buggy Ride, also worth the price. (9 per adult)
Nice shops, food trucks and market/bakery.
If you're in Amish Country, it's a must.

We enjoyed the farm and being able to feed the animals. A fun place to stop in if you’re out in Amish country, and a must if you have children.

We visit here multiple times a year as a family with little ones. It’s very reasonably priced and unique fun! Many farm animals to pet and feed and get up close and personal. A great store and bakery along with a food trailer, homemade ice cream and kettle corn! Definitely a must!

We have been going to this place since my daughter was barely able to walk and she loves it! It is a very fun atmosphere and the animals are so gentle and lovable!
Their food truck has delicious food but isn’t open during the winter season so we usually just go in the bakery and get some cheese and trail or beef sticks and cheese. We definitely recommend checking this place out, especially in the summer when they have horse and buggy rides and the food truck is open :)

Purchased Fry Pies to enjoy after our trip, couple of huge donuts and a loaf of bread. Everything was fresh and delicious! Prices were great. Will make it a Must Stop our next trip that way!
Apple orchard in a quaint country setting with event spaces for weddings, receptions & concerts.
Used to go here when I was a kid. It's been about 20 yrs since the last time I was there. It was definitely different then back then this time. But the whole family has a GREAT time!! The best part was we got to witness a goat give birth!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

The slide it brings out the big kid in you and the food was was really good I love the turkey legs the fries, chicken tenders were good everything has a lot of flavor so the stuff is really good even the desserts. We bought a blueberry pie home, it was amazing. I think it's the best blueberry pie I have ever had, and I've had a lot of blueberry pies their wines are good. The apple cider was really good you bought a couple of gallons home wish you would have brought more they have candy apples also.

I used to live really close to Mapleside Farms. When my kids were little we used to take them there in the fall for the festivities. Back then Mapleside was full to the bursting with gifts, baked goods and everything apple in the fall. I went recently for the first time in about 15 years. I was very saddened to see that there was nothing left of the old place I remember. There was apple cider in the cooler case and a few products for sale. The bakery did smell delicious. Bought the place was pretty much deserted. Unfortunately I think it's a sign of the times. Small businesses are really getting squeezed out. Nobody wants to buy gifts at small businesses. Which is really sad. I will say that their new barn for special events is absolutely gorgeous! I am hoping that this is how they will continue into the future. Their apple cider is the best. We traveled there to buy 5 gallons we are converting to hard cider. I'm including some photos of the outstanding view of the valley behind them. And the new event barn.

I have filmed 3 different weddings at Mapleside Farms barn, one of which was my first ever wedding! I filmed this particular wedding in May of 2022. This has always been a great venue for me and offers the perfect amount of everything. This place on any given day with a sunset alone has a great vibe, so of course weddings are fantastic. I am excited to see the new updates and look forward to coming back here as soon as the next wedding allows! Drone pictures from this awesome 3rd experience. Enjoy!

It says on the sign at mapleside farms that they will be opening in spring I think possibly late summer cuz they weren't open when I was there.....? however the sights and sounds are still beautiful... As you can see from the pictures...!!!!

This was my annual trip to Mapleside Farm while I am on my Fall vacation. It was beautiful as usual. My family and I live for the cider and hot apple doughnuts. It has become a Fall tradition. I now take my grand daughter.

We visited for the fall festival. We had kids ranging from 8-18 (or much older if you count me in) and we all had a blast! They have corn mazes, hay rides, pig races, giant bounce pads, and much more. The 300+ foot slide down the side of the hill (pictured) was definitely the highlight! Those young people hauling the burlap sacks back up the hill deserve a raise or at least a tip jar. The fresh, hot, apple cider donuts were amazing and washing them down with a cider slush was great. So many foods that smelled so good, but we couldn't try them all. Prices were fair. All of the employees were polite. It was very well run and enjoyable.

Love the Friday night concerts at mapleside...it's so nice to enjoy being outside, listening to good music and enjoying the sunsets with an adult beverage! I love being close to home and seeing friends/neighbors also enjoying mapleside...

My wife and I had our baby shower at the lodge upstairs on the main level. Absolutely gorgeous. The staff was immediately helpful and understanding, fetching a few things I needed. Thank you guys for that, seriously. Food was delicious. Lunch menu. The views from the back window are breathtaking. Special thank you to Taylor and Gavin, employees there. You guys were wonderful!

The property was relatively clean and calm. My family and I were able to relax sitting over the side of the hill top. I’ll definitely go back in the fall for some of the events. Pretty empty though since it’s summer time.

It was worth the drive from Cleveland. There are multiple tractor rides (hay ride, pig and cow cars, etc). Animals. Legendary pig races. Hot apple cider and really good food. Pumpkin patch. Beautiful views and backgrounds for pictures. They also take credit cards everywhere you may need to spend money.

All I can say is wow! My mom and I went to one of the Pumpkin Village weekends where nearly the whole farm is transformed. There are 7 different themed weekends and even though I'm an hour away this will now be a yearly tradition!
The parking was pretty easy to figure out, just make sure you read their website for any updates. We bought our tickets at the gate and went on a Saturday around 4:00 p.m. Surprisingly, despite the amount of people, it did not feel busy at all just because there's so much to do!
Plenty of portapottys - so no wait!
We rode a giant slide, watched a live play that was very cute, there was tons of food to choose from, the fries looked so good! They also had spots for you to buy alcoholic drinks. They had liquor, wine, beer and other non-alcoholic choices. Of course I chose my first spooky beer of the season!
We took a hayride around the orchard but they also have all kinds of different things for kids. I can't even begin to describe how much there was to do!
We left with pumpkins and cider and plenty of memories. :)
This is a must do if you're in the area!
We visited here with family and we had a nice time looking around. It is cool to visit a place that has won awards for having the best cheese. Lots of many different things to look at. Their cheese is very good . Thank you.

This place was an interesting place to visit. The Cheese and the cuckoo clocks had my head spinning!
The samples were nice, the employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Going there again, once we eat all that we purchased the first time.
If you like Butter, yes I said Butter! They have a Cheese for you, Amish Butter cheese. I absolutely loved it!! Just melts in your mouth! We also got a Baby Swiss Cheese Roll. We will have to go back for the Sharp, Swiss next time, Hubby won't stop talking about it and now the kids want to try it.

We drive over 2 hrs each way to load up on cheese. Due to the pandemic the prices have skyrocketed like most places did. We will definitely be going back but perhaps not as much since the main reason was such a huge difference then our local grocery stores. Gas prices shot up to boot. It's charming tho

So I went on a Saturday around 1 and the store was packed not quite enough room to walk around and look without stepping on someone else. There was a line to buy some specialty cheeses so I skipped waiting in line and just grabbed some cheese that was sitting in the cooler. I would recommend the variety bits as they are tasty the pepper Jack cheese in the variety bits was amazing. The Ziller cheese I was told was the #2 cheese in the world, not sure where the voting was or what type of cheeses were being judged that is just what the lady behind the counter said while handing out samples. I’d suggest not to go on a weekend if you have the option unless you don’t mind right quarters and waiting in line.

Had a great visit to Guggisberg Cheese factory. They gave me samples and they were all good. The baby Swiss is really good but the cheese called Ziller was my favorite. I bought some hot chocolate powder as well.

Going to the Amish country and not visiting Guggisberg Cheese is unthinkable! Unless you have a genuine reason not to do so.
The cheese factory is about two miles off the main road between Millersberg and Berlin. The store has a fabulous collection of goodies - cheeses, meats (not for me though as a vegetarian), hot sauces, jams and jellies, soft drinks .. I could pick up only as much as my helmet would hold - 4/5 types of cheese and some hot sauce bottles. Found the smaller pieces of buttery cheese really appetizing and at $2.95 a small box, I should have probably picked up some more. Very little salt, and a hint of being sweet, in fact .. simply wow! The horseradish flavored cheese was simply outstanding. I was indeed happy to have taken the small detour and fill my bag with the goodies. Next time I am here, I am going to have a larger bag with me!

We had an enjoyable quick visit here. We were able to sample and purchase some cheese. It was very busy, so we want to go back another time when it's less busy so we can look around more.
Upon check out our kids were given a coloring book, sticker, a hat and a fan shaped like a cow. They really enjoyed that and of course so did we.
We're looking forward to visiting again.

Great place to visit and get some of the best cheese and snacks in the area. Staff there is fantastic!
Working farm that's also home to hundreds of exotic animals, plus a produce stand & gift shop.
It was hard to pick which pictures to share because of how many we took! This place is awesome and our tour guide was so nice and friendly he knew all the animals and was also very knowledgeable about them as well. The animals were very gentle and friendly I recommend doing the wagon ride . This exceeded my expectations to the millionth degree. If you are out of town or just making your way into the area this is a must see and I can’t wait to do it again ! My husband and I went and we had a good time with people from all ages . I recommend it to everyone. You can tell the animals were happy and well taken care of in endless acres of land to roam . A very clean and happy environment for all.

Absolutely love this place!! Cash only so come prepared. The earlier you get there the better, the animals are out and eager to feed first thing in the morning so you get a great chance to see them and feed them if that’s your thing. Bring your patience because the animals can sometimes stand in front of cars and stop and although they have a someone on a horse making sure they don’t hold up traffic, they’re animals and have minds of their own.
This time we used their horse buggy which holds Around 20 people on each One of them we is pulled by two used horses. The trip is around one hour was goes all the way to the top of the little hill and then comes down which is pretty fun and the kids love it. When you pay the admission fee you also get a bucket of animal food to feed those animals. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed every single moment. Highly recommend it if you are around Ohio.

My mom and I took the wagon ride and really enjoyed it. They have a variety of animals that you see all along the ride. Our guide was very sweet, she pointed out the types of animals to us and answered our questions. We had a few kids on our wagon, I think watching their smiles and hearing their giggles were as much fun as the ride. Already planning to visit with my husband who would love this as well. Highly recommend!

We went during the fall festival and had an amazing time. The wagon ride was such a fun and unique experience. My kids loved the playground and special fall activities, especially the pumpkin slingshot. We live almost two hours away and it was well worth the drive. I plan to visit again.

This Amish Farm is so much fun. Being driven around on a wagon and feeding all the animals is soothing to the soul, puts a day long smile on your face, and the laughing lowers your blood pressure. These animals are so happy and healthy on this 60 acre field. So much better than sad animals in a small enclosure at the zoo. Even the enclosures with the Pheasant and other farm animals are so beautiful. They were making ketchup in the farm house. Then go upstairs for a free cookie.

Okay guys! I was so excited to take my daughter to this farm. Normally we visit the Berlin farm. My sister told me about this one. Upon arrival the workers were so polite and helpful. She forgot to give us 3 buckets of food but it was no problem retrieving. I love the Amish country so I was excited regardless but, there weren't enough animals out! At all! I did go on the 4th but that shouldn't have mattered, they don't celebrate the 4th of JULY so where were all the animals!? There wasn't a long line of cars so the drive through was a breeze considering there weren't enough animals. However, the experience was great! Was still able to engage with the animals and walk around at the end of the drive through. I would go again because it was worth it!

This is by far my favorite thing to do in Amish Country! Adults enjoy this as much as kids. It's so fun to drive through and feed and pet the animals. We've never done the wagon ride, but we enjoy going through in our own vehicle at our own pace. Make sure you have cash, as they don't accept cards. Before you leave, make sure you park and go inside the house and get yourself a homemade cookie and tour the beautiful Amish home and sit on the porch to enjoy the beautiful views, then walk to see the goats, lemurs, tortoises, birds, kangaroos, camel, and more!

Very cool experience. We used our car. I would recommend doing the wagon ride for a more close up experience.
We did get surrounded by zebras at one point and they started acting aggressive towards one another over the food. One zebra did pull my rear windshield wiper up so that was interesting lol.
Loved the variety of animals and that they had animals to visit once you were done with the tour.
Also, the amount of food they give you is a good deal and we actually ended up with food leftover. Also, as others have mentioned, it is cash only!!

Wow! This place is incredible!! Absolutely a gem!! You must visit if you’re in the area! Upon arrival you pay at the parking attendant. You can drive through the farm or take a wagon ride. I suggest a wagon ride. Our wagon, driver Emily was so informed and gave us lots of information about each animal we were interacting with. After the tour we had a free fresh cookie and we’re able to use the restroom. We also had the opportunity to buy fresh Amish baked goods!! Everything about this place is top notch!! The animals are happy and healthy. It’s not often you tour a place and feel good about seeing animals in captivity— all animals at the property are happy and I’m thankful we were able to see such cool diversity with different animals!! I am only doing a review of their chocolate. I was blessed with a Deluxe Assortment 8 oz box as a gift. I have not had the chance to go to the store yet. These chocolates are amazing!
I called the company to figure out where I could find this same box near me in stores. The lady I talked to was super patient and helpful. She told me to just order online. They have a flat rate of $5 shipping fee. The prices for the quality of chocolates are highly reasonable. They arrived a few days after ordering them. I am located a few hours from the actual store.
I also love the presentation of the chocolates. Especially the thank you card with a chart with the names of all the different chocolates in the box. It really shows that this company truly takes pride in their product.
I truly look forward to visiting the actual store one day.
They have earned a customer for life now. These boxes will be great gifts.

This was a nice stop. Chocolate was worth the trip out. They were super busy, and parking was a bit tough. The store was kind of packed (we went on a Saturday), we didn't really get an opportunity to really browse, we pretty much got what we went for and left.
What we went for; Milk and Dark (prepackaged) Caramels with Sea salt, a small box of Sugar Free, which they had a nice sized variety of and Fudge.
I'm going hold off on my opinion of the employees until our next visit considering they were pretty busy and probably wanting or needing a break. There was ONE very nice young lady that was eager and very friendly, she took her time with us - and I can not for the life of me remember her name. When we go back - if she's there... I'll update. Love Rittman Orchard! Bring your little kiddos and the rest of the family, to pick berries in the summer. Currents and gooseberries are sold in the store. They sell high quality produce, fresh baked pies and cookies. Gifts from local artisans, soap's, honey made from the bees on the orchard. One of my favorites is apple butter made from their very own apples. One of the best things to do is enjoy ice cream after picking berries, sit on the porch, and enjoy the spectacular view. This is a great place to visit it's worth it!

I came here last Sunday with my husband to pick strawberries. This is my first time picking fruit at a farm. It was the first or second day of strawberry season, and we got to pick a full bucket of large and delicious strawberries! A kind stranger told us that the strawberries that are up the hill and fardest away from the main building were the largest and most ripe. She was right! We spent 30 minutes picking strawberries and it was very fun! The downside is the strawberries were ripe so you must eat them all within a day, or freeze them and make smoothies with the frozen strawberries. You must buy their white bucket for $1.50 each, and if you plan on returning, keep the bucket and come back with the same bucket to pick strawberries.

Even though it was busy today being fall, everything seemed well managed. There’s not a lot of u-pick options, so be sure to check their Facebook for updates, but I didn’t mind. They still have lots of options in the market and I felt safe, considering their precautions. I also didn’t see anyone not wearing a mask that should have been.
I think everyone is just happy to get out of their house and it shows. It was a great place to relax while being able to support a local business.

Women's formalwear shop with thousands of dresses, in a wide size range, for weddings & proms.
Wherever you live, this shop is worth the drive. Yesterday I found "The Dress!" As a plus size individual, this was probably the most stressful part of planning a wedding for me. I don't like dresses, dresses usually don't like me, but the experience I had here was more than I could have dreamed. The staff was so kind and helpful. They noticed right away what style I leaned towards and what flattered me and brought me so many options. OPTIONS - this is also something plus size people are not used to. I cannot boast about this shop enough. They cater to every body and style, care about your thoughts and have a selection to rival any boutique or chain store. They are absolutely wonderful. I will be recommending them for the rest of my life.

Usually they've done well when my family and friends have used them for prom or wedding dresses. Very disappointed in the last experience, thus the 1 star review. Dresses were ordered a few months ago and said they would be delivered by the end of July. We called, "no they aren't in, we will call you when they're in." Called back beginning of August "still not in." Called today, "nope." When asked if there was a company we could call since our wedding is a month away, they said they would reach out. Called back about an hour later "oh we have them, someone forgot to mark them here." Why didnt they go and check the stockroom on the prior calls to see if they were in, or check the order confirmation number they claim to have had (which im sure has a tracking number attached in some manner)? No apology, no "making it right" for being 3 weeks late and us having to continually press them on the issue. Just really disappointed. I previously recommended them to friends who were getting married, and while I realize this is one occurrence, I can't give that recommendation any longer. Extremely disappointed.

We had the best time picking dresses. There was plenty tp chose from and they could order if the size wasnt just right. Their team made us feel special and worked hard to see we found what fit. Recommend this place and we will be returning for prom dress as well. Job well done!

At first, my experience was okay. I enjoyed getting to look through the dresses, but mostly family/friends had to button, zip, etc. my first few visits. Nobody clipped me or helped me visualize what my dress would look like on my wedding dress. Against my better judgement, I ordered a dress with this company.
Fast forward to when I went in to try on my wedding gown, and I just didn’t feel beautiful at all.. Penny was VERY kind and understanding and helped me work through the situation, but I left without my dress and feeling a little defeated.
Next day, I call in regarding the situation and spoke with Carly. Honestly, I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life.. her exact words (among many others) to me were “it’s not my problem you are second guessing yourself and it’s not my problem you think you got the wrong dress, you should have thought about that before you paid your deposit” and then she hung up on me!!!
Of course I call back infuriated and ask to speak to the higher up, Jan. She was much nicer and arranged a time for me to come back in. When I arrived that day, she gave me the one on one attention that every bride deserves walking in there, but don’t seem to get. Unfortunately, it took a bad situation and a rude employee for that to happen. And of course, the employee who made my experience miserable was there and even gave me a few dirty looks, which made me feel like the business didn’t truly care about my concerns in the first place.
I ended up leaving with my original dress, not because I loved it, but because I liked it enough to get through the day and I wanted to put the experience behind me.
That should have been a wonderful experience shopping for one of the biggest days of my life, and it was not in anyway. shape, or form that experience. If I could do it all over, I never would have walked in the doors the first time.

We had an absolute blast picking out my daughters first ever Homecoming dress! They were quick to reply online to schedule our appointment, and very nice and understanding assisting us in store. Super friendly but not too clingy. We will definitely be back for our future events!
33,000-acre park with hiking trails, bike paths, a scenic railroad & vast array of flora & fauna.
Awesome park, probably the best in Ohio. Lots of cool areas and different terrains. The coolest hike is probably the Ledges Trail with awesome rock cliffs. There is also waterfalls, picnic areas, and many trails. Look ahead where you want to hike so you park in the right area...it is a very big park. Definitely will be back many times.

Nice visiting center, well staffed.
Trails are nice, better that admission is free. Didn’t get too far on mu first visit, got rained on.
One water fall is closer to the visitor center, the others are out farther. There are a few overflow parking lots.
Bathrooms in and outside the visitor center. None on trails.

We stopped here to stretch our legs during a road trip, so we didn’t get to explore a ton of the park. We did a quick walk to Brandywine Falls. There is a loop trail that we would have done if we had more time; however the boardwalk was a short walk from the parking lot.
The visitor center is nice and has ice cream, several different maps of the park, and a gift shop. The park rangers were incredibly helpful and were happy to answer all our questions. As expected from a National park, it covers a large area, but on the small side for a national park. We are looking forward to a planned visit where we can spend more time. The towpath trail is great for bikes! In fact, this park is bike friendly and the path was buzzing with activity.
It is close to I-80, and easy to find. The two bathrooms we saw had water filling stations, which is great!

Great national park located near Cleveland. Picturesque rolling forested hills with beautiful river and wetland features. The water falls are definitely worth visiting. This park is very close to urban areas so there is no shortage of food and lodging near by.

We visited Brandywine Falls and did the trail. Beautiful waterfall and hike, easy and most of it in shade from the beautiful old trees. We loved stopping on our hike and walking on the fresh cold water, just be careful it's slippery!

Such a fantastic area with many natural and man made wonders. I don't even think you notice the beauty if you are up on one of the interstate bridges. I'm still blown away that this is only half an hour outside of Cleveland. I will certainly have to return with more time to explore.

It's nice enough, but I don't think it's National Park quality. In my opinion, it's not large enough, nor is it naturally interesting enough to be a National Park. I enjoyed my hiking there. I checked out Brandywine Falls after heavy rain. Not a bad place, just not National Park quality in my opinion.

We stopped here for a walk while traveling. It is not the expansive national parks of the West, but it is one that helped save a beautiful waterway and allows those who would not otherwise have the opportunity, a chance to enjoy nature. The paths we saw were all accessible and well kept.

This has been my backyard since I was a baby. I never fully appreciated being able to go into the National Park any time I pleased until I was older. Now since traveling the U.S and visiting other National Parks I am even more grateful for CVNP. It's free! Free to enter and free to park. You can explore just about anywhere. There is so much to do and see. Waterfalls. Scenic railroad. Caves. The canal. Rock formations. Ledges. Cute visitor centers. Fall colors in the fall time. I can't say enough good things about this clean and gorgeous park.

Cuyahoga Valley, a national park in Ohio, is very close to Cleveland and Akron and provides recreational opportunities along the Cuyahoga River.
The winding Cuyahoga (the "Crooked River") gives way to 33,000 acres of deep forests, rolling hills, and open farmlands. The park is a refuge for flora and fauna, gives a sense of times past, and provides recreation and solitude for Ohio's residents and visitors.
Cuyahoga National Park, established as a national recreation area in 1974 and re-designated as a national park in 2000, has a rich cultural legacy as well. Remains of the Ohio & Erie Canal, which traveled through the valley in the 19th and early 20th centuries, offer a glimpse into the history of how the country was transformed. Sustainable farming ventures help preserve the valley's agricultural heritage.
Cuyahoga offers something for everyone—from hiking, golfing, historic train rides, and kayaking to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

We Love 💕 This Valley. I've Hiked here for 53 years, We are Unfortunately losing a lot of Our Beautiful Trees because of Climate Change, which has brought and enabled insects to kill them. I have been documenting the changes and damage from these insects every Year thru photos since 2015. I Hope Our Trees will survive this somehow, but 2024 is the worst I've seen.

We visited Cuyahoga Valley NP during a long Father's Day weekend trip to Ohio and spent most of two days in and around the park. There are some beautiful, serene places in the park for sure. As far as National Parks go, this one is a bit unconventional with so many people living up close to or within park boundaries. The history of the area was neat to learn about, and I would imagine living near the park would make it the perfect place to walk, run, or ride a bike regularly. I can't say it took my breath away like Yosemite, but any National Park is still a win in my book!

This is a vast National Park with many, many trails that are well laid out & easy to navigate. There are a lot of hotels within a 10 min drive if the park too and best of all, the park is FREE!! There are woodlands, wetlands, waterfalls & wildlife in the park! There is also a train, the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad that runs a two hour trip thru the park!
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is a noteworthy edifice with a rich history, showcasing an assortment of seasonal events. The premises include a museum, conservatory and landscaped grounds. A self-guided tour of this beautiful mansion/castle can take up to two hours, with the option to participate in the Crannies and Cook tour to access the tower. Visitors are treated to an interactive experience as children can embark on scavenger hunts throughout the museum while receiving free prizes upon completion.
Amazing mansion, grounds, gardens and greenhouse. A gem for the city and the state. The staff and tour guide were incredibly helpful, insightful and knowledgeable. You should visit this site often. This will satisfy the fans of architecture and the history buff. This place is literally a time capsule, with over 90% of the contents from the original family. We will visit again. This has our highest recommendation. We would recommend studying the various tour options because you could easily spend all day at the estate. We spent two hours with a tour guide and saw less than half of the rooms! We will also return in the warmer months so we can get more appreciation of the numerous gardens. Keep strolling to find former tennis courts, ponds and a view of the valley below.

We went on the guided nooks and crannies tour and it was very cool and interesting. You get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Manor House and learn more about the domestic staff who worked and lived at the estate. Admission also includes self-guided tours of the Manor House, gardens, Gate Lodge and Corbin Conservatory.
After the 90 minute tour we walked around the house and there were a lot of experts to tell you about the different rooms and history even if you didn't pay for the manor tour. They also had all the Christmas decorations up and it was very beautiful, even during the day.
It's late fall so the gardens and grounds were not in full bloom but it was still very cool to see everything and the size of everything!

This is a beautiful mansion/castle. I did the self-guided tour. If you want to go up the tower you have to do the Crannies and Cook tour. It took me 2 hours to tour the entire place. The museum is kid friendly. My kids completed a scavenger hunt during the tour and received a free prize at the end (it’s free). You can’t carry in a backpack even it is a purse. There are a lot of antiques so they’ll make you leave your bag somewhere I’m not sure.

We went here for free using a library pass, and after touring I would say it isn't worth coming if we had to pay.
While the house is historical and is nice to see a glimpse of the past, a lot of the actual history delving goes into the life and goings on of the family who used to own and live there, and felt like a majority of just ego stroking on how rich and successful they were.
The grounds were nice, and the rooms were good to look at when they went into the architecture or furnishings.

We attended the Deck The Halls event with the dinner. The lights were beautiful, and dinner was average (not worth the price). The tour of the mansion was nice (self guided / follow the line), but would've been better if someone was there in each room explaining a bit of the history. It was good to experience once, if you haven't been there before.

Beautiful gardens. Spring and early summer flowers are in full bloom this week (May 22-28). If you are 60 or over, the self-guided tours are half-price on Tuesdays. But be sure to ask if they don’t mention it.

Our home away from home.
My wife and I are here nearly every week, being members, and have yet to find a more relaxing or peaceful grounds to stroll through. Our favorite places on the grounds are the English and Japanese Gardens, as well as the Lagoon, where the Ohio Shakespeare Festival takes place in the summer with some fantastic performances. The flowers in spring, leaves in the fall, and tours of the estate year-round (especially at Christmas) are not to be missed.

Impressive home and grand estate of one of the wealthiest American families - the Sieberlings of Goodyear Tire fame. Built between 1912 - 1915 the massive stone and brick buildings tiled with slate roofs are open for tours (for a fee) as well as the beautiful grounds. It's a lovely place and during the Christmas Holiday season it is decorated so well. Reserve the time it takes to see all there is and you'll find it a remarkable home to visit.

Ticket prices are very reasonable considering how much the standard tour covers. Very interesting history with guides that all seem passionate about what they can teach you. Guided part of tour takes better part of two hours, and wandering the grounds afterwards could take even longer if you want.
The Conservatory and tours once the Christmas decorations are up are the biggest highlights throughout the year.
Akron Zoo spans across 50 acres and showcases over 700 species of animals, including a grizzly exhibit. The zoo offers various seasonal events and activities, such as train rides, carousel rides, and visits with Santa Claus. It also features stunning light displays during the holiday season that create a warm and inviting atmosphere in spite of Akron's chilly winter weather. Visitors can indulge in hot chocolate, s'mores or other concessions while enjoying the scenic view of Akron from atop the wall.
We arrived with family and left exhausted! Had a great time taking in most of their animal collection. However, it was minus the penguins, flamingoes, and other wildlife that are affected by the bird flu. Most animals were displayed within viewing distance except the lions. Three hints. First, the modest train ride takes all of two-three minutes in a small loop and back. Don't expect it to last any longer. Second, the wind machine is three dollars for a few minutes but it's lots of fun. Third, most of their drinks around the park are $2.00 for a typical sized can of Coke and water. Too much if you ask me. The Merry-go-round does go for about five minutes. Gift shop items are expensive. You can get a stuffed animal somewhere else cheaper. Facilities are clean. Maps are clear.

We had a wonderful time at the Akron Zoo! From the moment we walked in the door the staff were so nice and helpful with our membership gift certificate we had. The were really kind and engaging with my 8yo son. It was a hot day so some of the exhibits the animals were hunkered in the shade but by the afternoon things had cooled off so we were able to see almost all the animals being active. The zoo is so walkable that going back to an exhibit is very easy. Definitely looking forward to going back!

One of the nicest zoos we've ever been too. Not to big, not to small. The aquarium exhibits were super healthy. The landscaping was another plus. My favorite part was feeding the goats, they have these large crackers you can purchase such a clean way to feed them.

We attended the Boo at the Zoo event, it was very well executed and organized.

1st time going and I absolutely loved it. It is smaller then the cleveland zoo and really directed towards young kids. Having a 1.5 year old he enjoyed it and all the exhibits were low to the ground. I think if adult kids went they might he bored after a while.

We love the Akron Zoo. Disappointed today after for passes electronically on advance had to wait in the regular admission line just to get in. It was a beautiful day, crowded with lots of little kids as expected. I'm going to say half the animals weren't out. I know this varies according to weather (and avian flu the zoo is having to deal with), but walking from empty viewing area to empty viewing area is sad for little kids.
Kim G — Google review
The zoo is beautiful. It is small enough that younger kids will be able to walk the whole zoo. It feels like you can get closer to the animals. My kids LOVED the otter slide and the otter seemed to have just as much fun swimming around the slide. Most of the birds weren't out because of the avian flu but we did see a couple of them.
Kate Wiley — Google review
Medium sized zoo that took 2 hours to go through. Only a couple exhibits were closed for renovations etc. You paid for parking inside and it was kinda pointless since you didn't put the receipt in your car so it was just free money for them unless you left and came back. There were staff at the popular exhibits to give facts and teach about the animals. There was a good amount of shade at viewing areas and then the aquatic animals so it wasn't too miserable in the sun. The gardens were out of bloom but had potential to be beautiful in the summer. Plenty of seating and random exercise posts in the park I saw one family doing. Extra money is needed to feed goats (($1 a cracker) and ride the train.

This was actually our first visit to the Akron Zoo! I wasn't really prepared as a last minute decision to stop after an appointment at Akron Children's. I would have had sunscreen, extra frozen water bottles, snacks, hats, & water spray fans. There are a lot of nice areas to sit, relax and enjoy throughout the zoo, so we rushed a bit to get through it. Be prepared. Lots of school field trips when we first got there with kids running, screaming and sitting in display areas with little interest in the actual animals. They cleared out and we were able to enjoy most of the exhibits. The architecture and design was really nice, very different from the Cleveland zoo. The otter exhibit with the slide was really fun for the kids. Overall I'd say it was a really good experience, as Cleveland zoo members we only paid like $20, which made it well worth the cost of admission. We'll just be sure to be more prepared next time, so we can spend more time!

We love this zoo! Good selection of animals, it's a clean facility, there's an aquarium... Just a really nice place to spend an afternoon. The LEMURS and RED PANDAS are the best. If you live within a short drive I'd recommend the yearly pass. Pays for itself in a few visits and it's good for 12 months.

Nice, quaint zoo, which allows you to see animals a little closer than other zoos. Very unique selection of animals as well. Went on a winter day, so it wasn't very crowded, which probably helped. But very solid experience for the price. Will be back.

If you haven't been to the Akron zoo yet, you definitely need to get it on your bucket list and put it down as a priority.
Hands down, this is such a relaxing, peaceful place to spend any day. Alone, or with family and/ or friends.
It's never overly crowded, it's affordable and easy parking and entering.
Not only well maintained animal exhibits with fun and interactive walkways, but beautiful garden areas with many Ohio native plants that help to sustain local wildlife and our pollinators.
We went for the Christmas lights called the Wild lights and wasn't disappointed. What a wonderful experience for the entire family.

Absolutely the best. Hands down 100% better than the Cleveland Zoo. Clean, full of animals to see, Aquarium included. Only 9$ + parking. Takes about 2+hours to see it all. Well laid out, and easy access for everyone. More animals than Cleveland, now that Cleveland Zoo is in such disrepair. The animals are all out, happy and playful. ☆ only downside the food is nasty, undercooked and over priced, just bring snacks and water with you.

What a wonderful zoo! It is the perfect size for little kids. You can take a packed lunch or enjoy the food in the Komodo Cafe. The carousel is beautiful. There is a place where you can buy snacks for the goats and even pet them. When the weather is warm, there is a small train for kids to enjoy. There is even a VR ride that you can go on. And you can go down a slide that runs through the otter exhibit. The gift shop is very nice as well.
The staff is really nice. They were very diligent with keeping the park clean.
There are extra fees for the carousel, VR ride, train, and feeding the goats. You can also rent motorized carts that look like animals. They also offer up close encounters with some of the animals. Those fees are listed on their website, and a staff member can also tell you about them.

1st time going to this zoo. It was an amazing experience! We loved the layout!! I highly recommend checking this zoo out! It may be a smaller zoo, but it's definitely worth the experience! We really enjoyed the Wild Lights exhibit!
Scenic waterfall cascading 65 ft. into a lush gorge, with viewpoints from upper & lower boardwalks.
Beautiful waterfalls which is as tempting as its name. We visited this falls twice - once in September and once in January and the falls was at its full fury in Jan. The boardwalk was well maintained and it takes you very close to the falls to have an unobstructed view. It's just a short hike from the Car Parking. Must visit if you are nearby this area.

A wonderful quick hike to a great waterfall in an area with a lot of history. Paths are well kept, trees are gorgeous, and the only thing more awesome than the cool water of the river is the scenery itself. And if you want a fun little side quest, there are tiny trails leading to the river further down from the falls that are pretty shallow and allow you to soak your feet for a few minutes. Overall a wonderful few hour trail by foot or bike. Highly recommend!

Very pretty waterfall. Must see if you are at Cuyahoga Valley National Park for the first time. There is a boardwalk and plenty of stairs down to a hood view of the falls. The walk down is also very pretty with the rocky wall along the boardwalk as you get closer to the falls.

There is a nice loop trail that can be enjoyed instead of just taking the boardwalk. Doing it clockwise has you do the tougher part first, there is some elevation gain but the path is very nice and worth the effort. Follow signs for the Stanford trail from the parking lot.
Simi — Google review
This is a very nice place to visit. The trail to the falls is well kept. It's all wood so it probably gets slippery when it's wet so you will have to be careful. There are a decent amount of stairs so if you are on crutches or wheelchair or just have a hard time on stairs this might not be the best for you. Other than that is amazing. The path takes you right up to the falls.

Short walk from parking lot to the falls. Also, a 3 mile loop you can do. The falls were a little light but still very beautiful. There's a lot of cool coloration on the rocks. The parking lot seems to have a lot of come and go. A sign said full when we arrived, but there were open spots. A ranger was very welcoming to us and gave us a map.

Always a hit with everyone! We take the trail to the falls then follow the loop on the Stanford trail which has an opening to enjoy the water and mini shale falls down the trail. Perfect for a summer day to let the kids loose and have fun and explore the rocks and water. This trail never disappoints and is a must see for all north east Ohioans.

It's an absolutely beautiful place to visit! I love exploring nature with my family, and Ohio has so many places to do that. Among the best is Brandywine Falls. Now, I understand it's not Niagra Falls, but the way they carved out the trail makes you feel like you have a front row seat I-Max experience, but in real life. As you work your way down the trail you'll feel as though you're making your way into a whole other world. It's almost unbelievable to think that just a few miles away lies the hustle and bustle of city life.
It also commemorates its history by preserving a couple of the buildings used to make use of the water power of the falls almost 100 years ago! If you're visiting Northeast Ohio and you have the time to visit - you won't regret it! If you live in Northest Ohio and you haven't been, then you MUST check this one off your list!

Love there are 3 options for visiting the falls. 2.5 hour round-trip walk from visitor center. Very short walk if you park at the falls. Or you can do the loop after parking at the falls. I went on a beautiful fall day in October. The on site bathrooms were under construction for future enjoyment. Portapottys were available.

This is one of the most iconic and important National Parks in the Appalachian mountain range. The astonishing geological features and nature are only comparable with the impeccable work to keep the trails clean and well. A must in Ohio and the entire Midwest.

Had a great river walk today, but I have done all trails leading to this and around it and they are amazing. Great views and nice little workout getting up and down the hills. Stick the boardwalk if you don't want a good hill!

Great waterfall to go to without much of a walk! We have gone there alone and with kids and it’s a good time every time!

One of the best waterfalls in the area. They are absolutely beautiful. Brandywine falls are jn the Cuyahoga Valley National Park so there are lots of things to see in the area. It would be the perfect date for those couples that like outdoor adventures.

An easy walk on a wooden walkway with two access points, one above and one below the falls. You'll have to climb stairs for the lower access
Located in Akron, the restored 1929 movie palace known as the Akron Civic Theatre showcases local and touring music, dance, and comedy performances. The venue boasts excellent acoustics that enhance the quality of live music shows. It features a makeshift bar at its back that exudes an upscale ambiance similar to the elegant building's overall look. The theater treats all types of concerts equally without any prejudice against genres or reputations.
We attended Maggie Rose's concert. I highly recommend seeing Maggie she is a vocal powerhouse and her command of the stage is unmatched.
The concert was in the new Knight Stage addition of the Akron Civic Theater. The Knight stage is a smaller intimate two level venue attached to the Civic. We did have an opportunity to walk through the Larger Akron Civic. It was built in 1929 absolutely one of the most beautiful theaters I have ever been in.

Jaw dropping entrance to this very enchanting theater! Every seat location has a great view, especially section 3 on the balcony. There is plenty of parking garages nearby with very cheap rates. The whole process of arriving and leaving was smooth and easy. Would love to come to more events here!

This was quite the lovely venue. The lecturer whom I went see commented on how cool it looked, in addition to the “stars” lighted above the stage. There were sculptures, fake plants, and all in a Greco-Roman style, which was indeed very neat. Reasonably priced show, and good to see that it can rival some of the places in nearby Cleveland. Highly recommend, cheers.

This place has a beautiful architecture. We were mesmerized at the design. We came all the way from Michigan to see Tim Hawkins, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed the show . It was spectacular

Clean venue with options for food and drinks within walking distance. Parking wasn't horrible as I arrived fairly early, so finding space in a parking garage was easy. Entry was fast and painless despite the long line. The venue doesn't have a bad seat in the place.

Beautiful place for a night out, the music acoustics sounded wonderful. They had a make shift bar in the back of the room that was made to feel upperclass like the rest of the building looks. However I went for a rock concert. It's absolutely amazing that they do not treat different kinds of music concerts as less then the reputation of class this place has. The employees were so kind, making you fell 100% welcome. They even lead you to your seats. Would most definitely recommend a try and I would go again myself.

Came from Kentucky to see Logic ft Juicy J. We weren't sure what to expect from a concert at a smaller venue than normal. The Akron Civic Theatre blew away our expectations, and we absolutely loved every minute of being there. Beautiful building, with very reasonable pricing for shows.

Such an amazing venue. Saw John Oliver tonight and he articulated what I have always thought about this theater. When the owner was asked what type of architectural theme they wanted, they replied with "yes" so much detail in the stage and surrounding area. Reminds you of a scene straight out of Romeo and Juliet. Seats are quite comfy but the slope of the seats is minimal towards the front of the stage. I am tall but have lots of leg room, which is a huge win for me. I do try and slouch so I don't block those sitting two or three rows behind me though.

What an experience and it didn't break the bank, the theatre is beautiful!I enjoyed dressing up and going to a concert, however I wish they would just spend the money to switch out the seats. It is not the 1950's anymore and we need a little more space these days.

We went here to watch the Pink Floyd tribute band. Wish you were here. And they were absolutely amazing. This venue is incredible. The handcrafted custom carpentry and wood work that is present throughout the entire facility is nothing short of exquisite. Clearly, it’s been well-maintained and Upgrade in three years and the venue is perfect for shows of this nature. The bathrooms are clean. The staff was nice and the vendors were great. We are looking forward to coming back this venue for another show. Not only is the place extremely cool, but it’s close to so many other good restaurants and bars and makes it a perfect fit for shows like this.

Gorgeous and so well run! Could have used a little more A/C, but it was such a fun night! The check in process was smooth, the lines moved quickly, and getting a drink during the show was painless!

We’ve been to this venue several times in the past, each time to see a band. This time we came to see Wish You Were Here, a Pink Floyd cover band. They’re great! We sat in the pit, in the very first row! It was amazing. This venue has plenty of seating and there are no bad seats. They had drinks and snacks for sale both in the hall when you come in and also in the hall where you enter the actual theater. Bathrooms were clean and located in convenient areas. This is a great venue!

My sister and I went to see Derick Hough's Symphony of Dance show, which was superb!. We drove in from a western suburb of Cleveland, so it was only an hour drive. I have been to Akron Civic Theater on several occasions and am always amazed at the beauty of this intimate theater which began as a movie theater in 1929. There is so much to see that you really need to take a tour to see all the details. "The ceiling depicts the January sky over Monaco on the Mediterranean Sea because at this time of the year it is at its brightest. " according to the theater program. We had 3rd row seats in the loge with an excellent view of the stage. Because of the lighting on the stage and the quality of my phone camera, I was not able to get good pictures, but will include a few showing our view from the stage, and a selfie showing the balcony behind us. There was a large crowd but the ticket takers were efficient and patient. We waited a few minutes before we left our seats to avoid the crowded stairs.
Museum dedicated to wood-carver Ernest "Mooney" Warther, with a next-door kitchen cutlery factory.
Before coming here, I knew nothing about who Ernest “Mooney” Warther was. After leaving here, I was astonished at how a man with humble beginnings had combined the blue collar life with his huge imagination and made history. This museum should do something to your soul. The handmade creations in all of their detail by Warther are all stunning. To come here and see his works makes a for a nice visit. To leave here and be inspired to make the most of what God gave us makes it WORTH a visit. Pictures don’t do justice. Come check it out!

What's not to love? The button collection is beautiful. I wish I could get closer and just sit and look at them all, get to know each button the way Mrs. Warther clearly knew her collection. The carvings are amazing in their detail and skill. Remarkable museum. Come support this lovely local business!

An absolute gem of a place that blew all of us away.
We planned on stopping here on our way to tour some local wineries and wanted to spend an hour or so while waiting for them all to open. We ended up spending a lot more than an hour as we were absolutely captivated by the meticulous creations of both "Mooney" Warther and his wife.
What an amazing place! Ernest, worked in a local steel mill and then made knives. He then started carving scale steam locomotives using wood and bone and later ivory. The museum shows off his works. Anyone who has an appreciation for steam locomotives and their history will want to spend time here. Anyone who has an appreciation for craftsmanship will want to spend time here as well. And if the trains are not enough, the button work that his wife did is almost as amazing - but there are significantly less works on display.
I frequently found myself with my mouth literally hanging open as I realized the level of craftsmanship it took to make any of these models. Not only are they finely carved, but any piece that moved in real life, moves on the models. The museum guides tell you that Ernest invited railroad engineers to look over his completed models and tell him if they see any errors - and they could not find one thing out of place.
The grounds are also nice to visit as well as the house that they lived in. I would recommend touring those before the actual museum as anything you do after the tour itself will feel like a letdown - and it's almost just as amazing.
Naor Wallach — Google review
Mr. Warther was a gifted carver and knife maker. His trains are incredibly detailed and all hand-carved to scale.

We visited on a weekend with my parents and enjoyed it. We did the self tour so we could take our time reading and looking at things. They do offer discounts on admission (veteran, AAA, senior).
The grounds are lovely, not very large, but beautiful. There is a second building with a button collection that his wife accumulated over the years. We ran out of time and did not get to the 3rd building to see them making knives. Plan on at least 1 - 2 hours if you want to really enjoy the grounds and see everything.
The one con I would note is in some places the walkways are narrow or steep which makes it challenging if you have someone in a wheelchair or if you are pushing a stroller.
Cheryl Klein — Google review
This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint. Both visits featured guides who knew Mr Warther as children so additional insights were provided. I will go again with folks we bring up from Tennessee. It amazes me each time about this man's genius and vision.

Impressive collection as MANY others have noted. Things I found particularly cool. A) He was self-educated (no formal school after 2nd grade) B) Pliers demo…can’t explain it but it is cool. C) He never sold them…always gave them away or burned them. The outside is also impressive. See the pics.

We have been meaning to go here for years and were not disappointed. Very nice museum dedicated to a master carver. The building and gardens are well maintained. Very educational and with well thought out displays, and the tour was very informative. The staff are very passionate and knowledgeable.
They have a nice gift shop, but so many of the items were made in China. In that area, it should be all local. They have a new wood shop store that is very nice.

I was born/raised in Dover, so I’ve had a few tours, events and such with the museum. However, coming back with my nine year old daughter and husband has given me a new appreciation of how awesome this place is. The museum isn’t anything fancy but what it is is nothing short of amazing. The family still runs it and we had the privilege of having a grandson in law give us a bit of a personal tour. We even met Mooney’s great granddaughter, who showed my daughter how to make the ‘famous’ pliers. She was in awe. It was lovely. We went in February, so the gardens were obviously not at their full glory, but I have been in when they are in bloom in the late spring/early summer and it is fabulous. The whole tour through the museum, the button house and the family house is worth the trip and admission price. Truly a gem and what a loving tribute to the world’s Master Carver.

An amazing museum showcasing the spectacular carving skills of a highly talented man. From the Lincoln funeral train carved from thousands of pieces of ivory (before ivory was banned) in exacting detail that is just breathtaking to view, to multiple working pairs of pliers carved from a single piece of timber. The buildings are beautifully laid out by the Warther family who maintain it to this day as a celebration of his life and work. Highly recommended.

This museum should be considered a world heritage site. It is the only one like it in the world. The carvings are unbelievable and a once in a lifetime experience. The tour guide was witty, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The Smithsonian has classified this collection of world-class master carvings as 'priceless.' Must see!
Seasonal facilities including 3 pools & vintage amusement-park rides plus year-round picnic areas.
Absolutely awesome. Not crowded and kids have fun. Cant wait until they open again. They have 25 cent days to ride rides and first town days and fireworks on 4th of july. These things you don't want to miss. Lots of food choices. Pizza burgers are the best. Fishing pond. A little kiddie pool. Ice creams-lots of flavors. Their prices went up to $1.50 for rides. They have baseball fields. They are a must see for yourself a Christmas extravaganza. Lots of things for kids. They even had a handicapped swing last time I was there. The also have festivals and good things . Beautiful place

Realllly nice beautiful park for children. Definitely family friendly and something to do on a weekend night if they are open. I saw a few gazebo’s with family having parties as well. The have what looks like two pools. For the tots and one for regular use.(from my knowledge anyways.). All the amusement rides are from a typical state fair but they look very well maintained. The staff were friendly and smiley as well. I would most definitely bring my family back. I highly recommend you visit.

Tuscora Park is always a great place to take the kids. We went tonight to Christmas in the Park, a yearly tradition. They had live animals, pony rides, ice sculptures, Santa, games, rides, and hot cocoa to keep you warm. A wonderful family event!

This place is a fun place to go for the playground and the rides. The rides are for children only and are reasonably priced. (10 rides for 8$). I cannot speak to the pool, However the park itself is a nice place to spend the afternoon.

Very crowded. Huge fireworks display. Folks from all around the county in attendance. The major complaint, not enough parking. All side streets through this residential area jam packed. Some people had to walk several blocks to reach the park. If you're not from this neighborhood it can be difficult to find your car after dark. Although the event was a 9.30pm start, many folks start arriving by 6pm. Brother visiting from Akron (much larger population) said this was the best fireworks display he had ever seen.
If you are seeking a quiet green space to enjoy a summer day(not a holiday)
I would highly recommend this lovely park with swimming, picnicking, and a few amusement rides.
Catherine Toland — Google review
This little park is definitely worth a visit, more-so, if you have elementary school age kids or younger. There is plenty here to keep them and you busy and the surrounding small community means far fewer people compared to larger parks. Wait times for rides are almost non-existent. While the rides are older they seem well maintained and the park is clean. The park is a great size for kids, they won’t be tired of walking by the time they walk across the parking lot. There are numerous pavilions for packing a picnic lunch.
Ambiance: 5/5 clean, comfortable, and not as chaotic as larger parks
Food quality: 3/5 think fair food
Service: 4/5 the majority of the staff you’ll interact with seem to be high school kids and they do a good job
Price: 5/5 prices are great, For less than $10 a kid can ride all of the rides multiple times
Menu: 4/5 think fair food, you’re probably not going to find vegan, gluten free, or other speciality diet foods

Oh man, my trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio was EPIC! From the moment I walked in, it was all good vibes. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home.
Bro, let me tell you, this place is like a football heaven! They've got all the cool stuff from the olden days to the latest highlights. The exhibits were boss, showing off the best players, the sickest moments, and how the game has evolved over time. And don't even get me started on the Hall of Fame gallery - that's where the legends live, man!
I gotta give props to the Hall of Fame for keeping the history of football alive. They paid tribute to not only the big shots but also the unsung heroes and everyone who's contributed to the sport. It's all about respect, man!
And you know what's even better? The place was clean and easy to get around. They had signs everywhere, so I didn't get lost like a noob.

I've never been to any other pro sport hall of fame but it's hard to believe they'd be any better than this. If you're into NFL football in the least way you will love this place. Plan on 3 to 4 hours at a minimum to even scratch the surface of all that's here. They have a tremendous complex in Canton. It's not just the hall there's a stadium ,artificial turf field that you can walk , and many other shopping and dining opportunities in the immediate area. I recommend it to any and all NFL fans. Adult entry is $42 per person but discounts can be had for as little as $10 if you go on Tuesdays which are senior days and your senior of course. Check their website for all the different discount rates that are available that help to make it more affordable. Also they don't advertise it much but this is also the home of the black college football Hall of Fame as well. Many interesting and historical artifacts to be found here.

I haven't been here sometime but it's definitely evolving. It was awesome experience I been coming here since I was kid. Tickets are 40 dollars which isn't bad. Staff is very helpful the sports shop is cool. The history behind this is placed great layout on telling the NFL story. The outside field is good for taking pictures as well as inside the museum. Turn down brightness on phone its glare in most pictures from glass. The shrine headstones are badass. The Cafe inside is convenient. It takes about 2 hrs to get good pictures and see everything. The Super Bowl glass trophy room is nice. The parking was bit tight. Madden room is awesome telling the story. I would definitely come back here again and again. 5 stars GO PATS see you soon Brady!

This was a fantastic experience! The flow of the museum is easy to follow and leads you through the history of professional football from the beginning. The section with the busts of inductees is spacious enough that it's easy to get pictures of your favorite players. There are also some entertaining interactive exhibits and a cool locker room holographic film. Even my football indifferent family enjoyed themselves.

A must see for any Professional Football fan from the ages of 5-95. An amazing collection of NFL memorabilia from the early 1900’s all the way through the current day. A very well put together exhibit at a very reasonably price. U can see the entire exhibit/museum in approximately 4 hours (without rushing & assuming it’s not crowded). I highly recommend getting there at 9 a.m. when they open this way you have the entire day to explore & enjoy it without being rushed. The Bust’s in the Bust room ARE A MUST SEE. TRULY SPECTACULAR!! There are also 2 theaters which are both really cool. One is interactive with holograms & the other is a 8-9 min. movie about the road to the super bowl. If your ever in Ohio or the greater Canton area and are on the fence of visiting, don’t cheat yourself & definitely take the time out to go visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame., you won’t be disappointed.

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, located in Stark County, is a family-friendly museum with an emphasis on the history of William McKinley. In addition to exhibits about the 25th president, visitors can explore natural history and science museums as well as a planetarium. The museum also features a local history section dedicated to Stark County. Visitors can make their way up to the McKinley Memorial after touring the museum.
September 11th, 2019. I would definitely recommend coming here, mainly if their doing the 9-11 tribute. We walked them stairs so many times and walked as many as the 9-11 firefighters did to all the stairs in the tower! This was such a great experience, and very difficult! Anyone was able to do it! I would definitely love to take another visit here again soon!

A favorite for our family for years. We have been here around fifteen times throughout our childrens years. There have never been any updates throughout the years except for a traveling display here and there. The bottom floor is a small science learning center with dinosaurs, fossils, small live animals to view, a bee hive, and spiders. This leads to an upper section of robotic and science stations. The stairs lead to the planetarium which is aged for probably 10 and up. I took one of my kids in one year and had to walk out because they could not pay attention. This leads to the second level which is a history museum of Canton and of McKinley and his presidential career. My favorite part is when it turns to a city Street themed on the early 1930s with storefronts and shops to explore and learn from. The end is a railroad exhibit showing the various railroad systems in NE Ohio. We always follow this up by traversing the steps up to McKinleys grave and traveling up and down the steps for some outside fun. Definitely worth a try!

The McKinley Museum is a fantastic family oriented museum that is complety affordable. We were a family of four and it cost us $34.... and that included the planetarium.
Inside you will find not just a museum about our 25th president, but also a natural history museum, science museum, a planetarium, and a local museum dedicated to Stark County. We really enjoyed our visit and there was plenty to keep the kids attention.
We spent about three hours inside. After that we walked up the stairs to visit the McKinley Memorial.

My toddler loves coming here..we go at least once a month (weather permitting) we didn't get to see the birds and small mammals since it was closed due to maintenance and on our other visits it was always closed due to covid so hopefully next time she'll get to see them. If you have young children they won't let you in certain planetarium shows which was the whole reason we made sure to get there when we did but she still enjoyed her visit. Definitely recommend 👌

Took my 4.10 year old grandson. It was a really good time. He liked the dinosaur/live animal section. He absolutely loved the Lego display and playing with the Legos that were there. We were very disappointed that the roof was being repaired and they couldn't do the planetarium. They did say the ticket is good for the year. So hopefully his parents will be here again and we can complete that part. They did have a small presentation which was way above his understanding. We did some experiments and played around with those. The tornado was cool. He was a natural with moving the robot arm. The suction from the vacuum lifting a human up was a bunch of fun. With the exception of the planetarium being closed was disappointing, but we still had a really good time. We got our glasses to watch the solar eclipse and are excited about that! Tickets were very reasonably priced and I felt the gift shop was very reasonable also. We both got something to remember our trip.

This is more like an Ohio/general museum with some exhibits on President McKinley. There’s very little info on his actual presidency, but they do have some cool personal items of his. The local history stuff is very cool, and I really liked the street of shops. The planetarium is free with your museum admission. The natural part of the museum fit in the least, but they do have some cool snakes. Overall, not bad, but it doesn’t quite fit the billing as a presidential library.

Feels like a holiday! We came for lunch at the Bistro - a lovely barn style building with a wood fire pizza oven, a real fire place and charming staircase. Set next to a small lake the setting was charming. Our food was good - the menu had a wide variety of entrees. We skipped dessert and headed over to the Crush House - a bar that serves desserts. It’s a big bar with funky tables and little seating areas. It was lovely and had a good vibe. We enjoyed drinks from a creative drink menu. Then we walked the grounds. I believe the tow path connects through. The grounds are charming, very thoughtfully laid out to immerse you in an experience. We had a lovely afternoon ! Oh, and the gift shop is definitely with a visit!!

My husband and I visit here often. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and the staff is excellent. We have dined at all the restaurants and you can’t go wrong at any of them. The staff and management at The Crush House is exceptionally good. The management at The Crush House seems to go above and beyond, and that is greatly appreciated.
Their special events are planned well and are just what we expect when we attend them.
Gervasi is a great little get away and I highly recommend it, and look forward to returning soon.

Very decadent experience!
A group of friends and I came in for a birthday to The Bistro. Dining was everything imagined but more. We were greeted with multiple smiles from staff and accommodated to suit our party as one of friends is temporarily handicapped. From the “The Family Reserves” which are in-house made wines to “The Collection” was such a great selection of wines. The food was amazing and fresh to order. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking an experience with a small or large group. Villas available for over night stay and tons of activities around to explore. Will be returning!

One of my new favorite places. Stayed at the Villas, dined at the Bistro and enjoyed after diner drinks at the Stillhouse. Amazing service, food and drinks and the restaurants. Villas were very nice and clean. Can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to really explore the property!

First class all the way! We didn’t make a reservation so we sat at the community table by the bar with some very nice people. The food was incredible as was the service. I ordered a pizza for an appetizer and the flavor was devine. Both our entrees were perfect.

We had an amazing 25th anniversary celebration for 3 days at this amazing winery. Exceeded all our expectations. From the food, the service, the room (Villa) to the wine! Very beautiful and relaxing. The grounds are gorgeous and we’d love to go back when everything is in full bloom.
Must give a big shout out to Rita at the Still House who was a doll and gave us such great recommendations. She is by far one of the best waitresses we’ve had. She gave us great tips on the local town as well which we wish we had more time to go into Canton😘

We visited Gervasi for dinner at The Bistro and enjoyed hanging out at the Crush House for drinks. The food at The Bistro is absolutely phenomenal. The Crush House had a great drink menu. The main aspect of this visit that stood out to me most was how beautiful, large, and upscale the entire property is. This is a fantastic destination to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, engagement, or any other special occasion. Allow a few hours to walk the grounds and check out all that this place has to offer - you won't be disappointed here! It felt like another world. If you're in the Canton area then you definitely need to check it out.

Went to Gervasi to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband and I loved the room in the Villa Frienze. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and gorgeous. They add little touches like a cute in room breakfast and a common area that has coffee and soft drinks. Our first night, we ate at the Bistro. The food was outstanding. Our server was very attentive. The second night we ordered carryout from Crush, it was a very long wait for food over an hour. They were packed. If you come on the weekends, make your reservation prior to coming as they fill up quickly. There is no priority for you as a guest. Make a reservation. It was raining during the weekend, so we did not get to walk around the grounds much. I would absolutely come here again. It's such a nice getaway.

I can’t believe this place is in my backyard! The staff is incredibly nice and attentive (Nate at the Crush House is awesome!!). I’ve spent time at the spa and can’t say enough about my experience. Greeted with neck warmers while you wait for your massage, the products used during the massage were top of the line and then you are greeted with a piece of chocolate and the most crisp grapes! Make sure you leave at least an hour for the marketplace! So many interesting items. Owners are wonderful, generous, and dedicated to ensuring you are enjoying yourself. Wonderful place to spend your time.

We haven't been there for six years. Things have changed a bit... such a gorgeous place! We celebrated birthdays at The Crush House. We had coffee at The Stillery. We shopped at the little shops when you come onto the property. Excellent place... can't wait to go back.

We loved our first stay at Gervasi. Everything from the room, food, restaurants, were all amazing. We would stay again. The only thing we did not fully enjoy was the wine tasting. While the Cave was beautiful and perfect for a private event, the tasting itself did not seem worth the money. Yes it was really nice and well organized, however we expected more. The wine pour could have been more generous, and the tour experience was not as exciting as we thought. The Cave is a room with barrels and that’s the extent of the tour, with the addition of a video. All in all we would recommend it for a nice stay and/or special event.

If you're looking for a stunning wedding venue, look no further than Gervasi Vineyard. We have had the opportunity to photograph both weddings and engagements here, and it's been a wonderful experience each and every time. Gervasi is one of the most photogenic venues in the Northeast Ohio.
This unique destination winery/resort location is an absolutely amazing place in any season, from the grounds to the restaurants to the private Villas that can be rented and/or reserved for you and your family or wedding party.
If you're engaged and you're looking for your wedding venue, make sure to check out Gervasi Vineyard. Go have dinner, have a glass of wine, walk the grounds, and picture yourself and your partner saying "I Do" at this gem of a venue.

From the moment we got there it was a magical experience. The entire staff smiled and greeted us. The service was 5 star!! Our dinner was the best we have ever had and prices were very reasonable. And probably the most memorable experience was when I left my money in the safe in the room after we checked out I didn’t miss it right away until I got home. I called them and asked them to check the safe for me the next morning they returned my phone call saying that they did indeed find my bank envelope of money. $700 to be exact. I drove back there and got it. I am so very thankful for their honesty and quick follow up. Xavier was stellar!!!! The two girls working at the welcome center were extremely polite and accommodating. We will be back for sure!!!

I cannot say one bad thing about our entire stay. Customer service was top notch! We ate and drank at the Bistro, Still House and Crush House. Everything we ate was delicious! They spoil you with breakfast (amazing) delivered to your room. Everything is done in a very classy but not stuffy manner. I would go back today if I could!

My wife and I chose the Gervasi Vineyard to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better location to do it. It truly exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we checked in we felt that personal touch that makes you feel that it's all about you. The guest services were excellent and accommodations were extravagant.
You literally never have to leave the grounds the entire time you're there. It was a wonderful experience and we will absolutely be returning.

We have a wonderful time here. Our waitress was excellent. We had a party of 18 with kids and she did an amazing job. Thanks for the great memories. The food was very delicious and the drinks were tasty. We’ll be back.

It was a two hours drive but was worth it, it’s a fantastic place for the Italian food lovers. One can not go wrong on any thing you order here. It’s little high price but it is also an up class place at a beautiful location, with indoor and outdoor dining. One can have variety of wine for tasting as well. Loved the place and the location. Service is quick.

Very nice evening on the piazza and enjoyed music with the Brigante wine and some appetizers. Bonus was that we didn't know it was Christmas in July and really enjoyed the staff's attire and a personal greeting from Santa! It's a local place for us, so there are other options, but we really enjoy the atmosphere here at Gervasi.

My husband and I got married at Gervasi this year and it was an absolute dream come true. Gervasi goes all out for their brides/grooms. The staff at EVERY building/location on the property go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing experience - from the checkin-in staff to the housekeeping…unbelievably kind. We booked two villas for our families and it was the most perfect experience with gorgeous views. Our event coordinator, Kelsey Taylor, was such a sweetheart. She handled everything so perfectly and professionally. She took my vision and knew exactly what to do with it. She was even able to handle my boisterous family.
You get what you pay for, and trust me it’s worth it. Highly highly recommended Gervasi as a day trip, weekend getaway, vacation, wedding venue, or a venue for any occasion/event. They will not disappoint.
Thank you, Gervasi (shoutout to Kelsey), for making our wedding weekend so incredibly beautiful, memorable, and special. We are forever grateful and will be yearly guests.

My younger brother and his fiancee chose this as a wedding venue this past weekend. Though I live in east OH I've never been before, but I'll certainly be returning in the future. This was an absolutely beautiful venue with great scenery. I had a great time before, during and after the wedding. The staff here were all very helpful and friendly and did a phenomenal job of helping the event come together. We had a relatively large group but nothing felt crowded or overwhelming at all. Kudos to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make his wedding go so well! Additionally, there is plenty of great food and drink here. While I'm not one for wine, they also distill and their homemade spirits are delicious and reasonably priced.

We had our wedding a few years ago at Gervasi. We had extra wedding cake that they packed for us to bring home. Every. Single. One. Was sprinkled with hair! It looked like they literally took a pinch of cut hair and sprinkled it, into every single slice of our wedding cake. Also, there was a mix up with one of our entrees. Other than those everything else was fine. The location was beautiful.

Last night (3/2/24) was date night and I was absolutely blown away!!! We first went to the still house to grab a drink before our dinner reservation and the staff was amazing (I unfortunately cannot remember our servers name, she was shorter with very short hair and the friendliest smile!) and she gave us the recommendation for the bacon wrapped dates and they were so good!!! Then we went to The Bistro for dinner and the food was like nothing I ever tasted before. We did have to wait an hour and a half for our food but we were having such a good time and our server, Grace was so wonderful that we didn’t even mind! I have every intention of coming back in the summer when it’s daylight out to enjoy the beautiful scenery

I got my first pedicure ever and it was a very luxurious experience. The wine cave experience was unlike any other wine tasting and well worth the price. The food and wine is excellent. And of course, there is excellent staff anywhere you go on the property.

My (now) husband and I just had our wedding at Gervasi last weekend and we can not say enough good things about this place! From the first time we visited, we fell in LOVE immediately. It was the wedding venue we toured and, needless to say, it was the last. We knew it was perfect. Our ceremony was held in the conservatory and, if you have a small wedding, we HIGHLY recommend. It was so intimate and gorgeous - just perfect.
The reception was held in the beautiful Villa Grande and all our guests had the best time. ALL the food was outstanding and the staff was unbelievable. We loved how convenient it was to stay in the villas directly behind the celebration space, as it made for a stress-free weekend. The rehearsal dinner was held in the Cave and my jaw dropped at how beautiful everything was prepared that night. Could not recommend enough to host any event there.
You absolutely get the sense that the staff at Gervasi simply cares. The level of detail and planning that goes into making your event and stay there enjoyable is remarkable. Truly cannot thank Gervasi & staff enough for everything they did for us.

Easter dinner at the Bistro. Service was great. The chop salad not so great. The Italian salad also not great. The risotto was dry and was sent back. The bruschetta was too sweet, had the normal balsamic vinegar AND caramelized onions, had a sundried tomato mash instead of fresh cut Roma tomatoes. It was ok but just not how bruschetta is normally done. Felt like the food was mediocre for primium prices. The restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was quite nice.

We took the wine tasting tour at the Crush House and it was fabulous. Jim, our guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. He answered our questions and helped us understand the way the wines interact with the cheeses and chocolates. Great intimate experience (we were part of a group of 6). We also had a tasting at The Cave which was excellent. The server explained all the wines to us and listened to our opinions. The facilities are amazing. Lastly we had dinner at the Bistro and it was spectacular. The food was delicious and the setting was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Will definitely try to come back. Great place to celebrate.

My daughter and son-in-law were married, on October 7, at Gervasi. It was such a perfect venue for their small wedding of 40 guests.
We were so lucky to have a beautiful, fall day. Over a year of planning and putting everything together. It all fell perfectly into place. They were married, in the Conservatory, followed by a luncheon at the Bistro. We stayed in one of the Villas.
The Villa was spectacular. Sarah coordinated the rehearsal and the wedding at the Conservatory. The food at the Bistro was amazing. Brad and the wait staff did an incredible job of looking after us and all of our guests. Our guests were so impressed and complimentary about the whole day and the venue.
A shout out to all of our (outside) vendors for doing their jobs so well-All Occasions Bakery, Perfect Harmony Violin (Regina), Taylor Rosemary Beauty (Lianna & Z), Nikki’s Perfect Petal Designs (Nikki, Jordan & staff), Galleria Gowns (Stacy & staff), and This Lovely Light (Allison & staff).
Overwhelmingly TREMENDOUS for all people, guarantee everyone can find something they love if you dig deep. I was even surprised to find a decent selection of VHS because I like collecting/preserving tapes. I didn’t expect to see as much as I did, truly a shopping mall in the antique vintage realm. Had to force myself to stop taking pictures because my phone battery was going to die. Two hours went by like nothing, I could spend the day in there. Everyone was friendly and excited to see cool things. I will return 10/10

Great rainy day activity, you could spend an entire day here looking for your next perfect find. This place is huge. So many interesting tidbits. Friendly staff will to help or carry items. I found my antique tulip lamps, here. You could spend a few hours walking around for sure so plan time and shoes accordingly. Disability friendly. Make a stop and find a treasure.

When I first started coming here this place was really good but expensive. You can find bargains here but you got a dig and dig a lot.
The large store seems to be slipping a lately with booths popping up that don't have antiques, but are more junk booths. Lots of booths with political stuff that isn't vintage or antique which is very disappointing.
Some solid furniture that has been restored but is quite expensive. Matter of fact this is probably the most expensive furniture I've seen for China cabinets and other miscellaneous furniture.
For example we found a lawyers bookcase that was $5900.
On the other hand they do have some really good quality in the furniture so it's a catch 22. If you're looking for the perfect piece be prepared to pay for it.
Time will tell if this store continues to be successful they need to do better moderation of the vendors and get the modern junk stuff out of the store.

The space was huge and definitely full of items. Some portions had a antique feel other areas more like a flea market. Overall the prices seemed steep but you could definitely find a Hidden Gem here or there. The people were super nice and it was clean. Definitely worth a stop and a leisurely walk through.

Lots to see. Give yourself 2-3 hours. Half the store has glass front display units, about 200. The other half has open stalls to walk through. Household items, small car items, furniture, primitives.

What an incredible place!!! So much to see! Wonderfully set up in small themed areas. Very clean. Friendy helpful employees. Loved their furniture selection! Good quality and price. You won't be disappointed and I'm sure there will be something here your looking for. Its massive! We traveled from Beaver Falls Pa. to visit and we bought pictures, shelves, a Kitchen table. Would've bought more but ran out of room in my SUV.

This place is amazing! Huge with a very broad selection of quality items. Not a lot of random garage sale junk like some Antique malls. Some really beautiful refinished furniture too. We will be back!

Really nice selection of antiques here. Not like some places that leave you wondering who would buy such junk. This place actually has very nice things in it. A little bit of everything so I'm not going to start listing things. Just give this place a look and you'll see what I mean. It's also quite large so you can easily spend 2 hrs.

There are so many friendly people that are working here. They are extremely helpful in answering questions. This is a huge antique mall. After spending a few hours here, travel up Prospect Avenue about a mile to go eat at the Double R Bar-B-Que and Creamery. You can thank me later!😉

One of my favorite places to get lost in for an hour or so. Prices are a little on the high side some times. Definitely need to look for good finds and prices. The staff there is always pleasant and more than helpful.

Huge store and super organized. There is a light switch for service at the end of each locked glass case aisle. You turned the switch on and an employee will come to open the lock for you. Love the system. Really enjoy this mall. Also the prices are really fair here. Highly recommend.

Very large building well organized and clean. Professionally ran and great service. Wide isles to enjoy showcase window shopping for glass ware of all sorts. Alot of furniture, lamps and much more. Prices do very from different sellers some. Public wheelbase access restroom. No food.
A lot to see, so plan on 2 or 3 hours anyways.
Tim Badger — Google review
Lot of interesting goods. Very large store, easily feels overwhelming.
Decent variety of time periods, but generally antique by definition. Does have stalls with more modern toys or items.
Selection is entirely dependent on who is renting a stall and stocking items. I'm not sure what effort, if any, goes into quality control or price control. Larger items are in the back.
Staff are nice and no one waited long to get a stall opened to see items closer.
