What an incredible experience! We chose the Thrill Seeker to get a good mixture of both the kayak and raft, and both really gave completely different experiences so I'm glad we opted for the full day to fit in both. All the tour guides were amazing, but Disney really made our trip exceptional and so much fun. This was our first time kayaking and rafting on the river and she really helped get us confident and comfortable on the water from the start. She went over verbally what to expect with each set of rapids and how we were going to handle them to help us mentally prepare. She truly knows how to guide and work with a group of completely random people to help make them a team. She also, without hesitation, helped rescue a lone kayaker's kayak from the class 4 rapids and then offered to help get him back to the boat ramp since he had just lost his paddle and belongings. She just went the extra mile with every aspect of today's trip and we can't say enough about how wonderful it was! I will say, another group really struggled because they were NOT listening to their guide and completely talked over her the whole time, so please listen! They know what they're doing if you give them a chance to help you. Thank you Orange Torpedo for the absolutely fantastic day! We will DEFINITELY be coming back for more!

I did the Thrill Seekers experience with two of my girlfriends and it was an absolute blast! We spent the morning kayaking through rapids and the afternoon rafting the Rogue River. Our outfitter, Wes, was truly amazing! He was a great guide and lead us through the day in confidence. It was a perfect day to celebrate my best friend’s 31st birthday. Can’t wait to go back and do it again! Thank you Oregon Torpedo for hosting a great day!

We had no experience on the river, but our guide Nick was great! He was entertaining and informative. He got us through some intense rapids like a pro! Definitely recommend.

Great trip with Orange Torpedo. We did the half day Salmon River, which was a perfect escape from a hot summer day. Excellent guide - Jackie. There were a number of rafting companies on the river and we noticed Orange Torpedo didn't load up their boats with as many passengers as the other companies. I don't know if this is normal, but it made it more fun to not be crowded in. The only con, their ground transportation is a bit shaky (aka old vehicles), but didn't present a problem.

Excellent adventure. This is a full day of intense rapids and whitewater. A total blast. But be warned, you need whitewater kayaking and rafting experience before going on this trip!! this is not a relaxing flat water experience...it is 6-7 hours of rapids one after the other...
gorgeous clean clear river, very cold water....be sure to wear a wet suit or splash gear. Our guides were total professionals. Well-spoken, great personalities, funny, informative.
Derek was some incredible eye-candy. I had to pick my jaw off the ground a few times.
lots of flipping over and falling out of the kayaks...so be prepared....
this outfitter was one of my favorites...I wished in retrospect I would have hired them for other river trips instead of Row and Ouzel and Western....
the only suggestion was that lunch needs to be taken up a few notches....deli meat sandwiches should be elevated to something nicer...not quite enough food for all of us....the guides did not have enough to eat after we all ate. More protein is needed for everyone
going to do this trip again!

What a wonderful experience! We did a 4 day trip on the Rogue River with OTT. They were fun, safe, informative and accommodating. OTT's guides can explain the history and geology of the river and pointed out many plants, birds and wildlife found on the river. We had GF and vegetarian folks in our group and they made every effort to make sure we were taken care of and well fed. The lodges' we stayed in were rustic and homey.

Had a great afternoon with our guide Kruse! If you're unsure if this is family appropriate, we went with an 8yr and 10yr old and felt VERY safe. This half day Rogue River trip we took was action right from the start with many 2 and 3s before the ending two 4 rapids. Won't be bored by any means!

Such a great experience, couldn't have asked for a better guide, Derek was knowledgeable and so easy going. He kept us safe and helped us with multiple photo opportunities. Would totally recommend Orange Torpedo Trips such a great value as well.

Popping my white waters for the very first time doing a 1 day trip on the North Umpqua River with an amazing group of guides for my birthday weekend. We had a group of 7 and split up into 2 rafts.
Dietz the Team Lead was simple and informative when it came to SAFETY FIRST! Teaching us what to do and not to do before hopping onto the river. One of our friend sprained their ankle and was in his raft and every now and then would jokingly pray before we hit a few gnarly rapids. Of course he one handedly guided them like a pro and our trooper friend survived without a scratch.
Derek our guide was super friendly and totally not an introvert with his humorous jokes and informative "falling rock" and "leaver rocks". Take is easy on the birds though, okay 🤣
Lunch was provided and prepped by the team at the lunch spot midway into the trip.
Absolute favorite part was riding the bull embracing the Amazon Queen!! Least favorite part was ending the day...whomp whomp whomp.
Overall, the experience was 5 🌟 because all the guides including Becca and Lauren were buttkickin awesome and knowledgeable from start to finish!! 10/10 would have to do this again, thank you all so much!
P.S. Let's go Leos! Hope you too have an awesome birthday Derek!!!

Absolutely fantastic trip with Orange Torpedo Tours! My family and I did the Rogue River Wild and Scenic 4 Day Lodge Trip. The entire staff was great- thank you to Mike, Ben, Kalen, Tim, Nick, and Ryan. The guides are super knowledgeable and were excellent at maintaining safety at all times. We switched off between the group paddle rafts and kayaks on the trip. It was fun to try both! Overall, the trip was well organized and thought-out. We didn't want it to end!! Will be recommending this trip to others and will hopefully come back next summer 🙏🏼

This is an amazing group to travel the Rogue River with! Tim, Grant , Mike, Stitch, Joe, Dino and Brooke are an incredible group of guides! They definitely make the entire trip ! I will never forget the experience and can't wait to try it again! Thanks guys!
First time rafting and so glad to experience it with ROW Adventures! We went on the 4-day lodge-to-lodge trip on the Rogue. Beautiful river, great people, fantastic guides, and amazing memories! Perfect balance of adventure and relaxation - we felt very well taken care of and safe the whole time. Would highly recommend - even for slightly nervous beginners like me!

We just got off the Rogue River, what a fantastic trip! Thank you, Caleb, Darren, Rian, Ryan and Tom! This team made sure each of the four of us had an exceptional experience on the river. We were well fed (you will never be hungry) with freshly prepared meals and beverages. The rapids were exciting and because of our guides' skill levels we felt safe at all times. Bonus - history lessons they provide along the trip, Zane Grey's cabin, native American history and river lore. The lodges are each unique and provide great meals, warm showers and comfy beds. We thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime!

We were a family group of 6 and it is unanimous that we all had a wonderful vacation experience with ROW. We took the 4 day Rogue River rafting trip staying in lodges along the way. Of the many things to rave about the guides were the best part. They were all extremely organized, professional, and knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the Rogue. They made sure our trip went smoothly and were extremely accommodating to any requests as they deftly navigated us down the river. Throughout the trip, we were provided options to swim, hike, and kayak. Each lodge intimated a unique character and aesthetic yet welcomed us warmly all the same. The staffs and owners paid careful attention to detail, sharing the history of the land and serving wonderful, home-cooked meals family-style.
The Rogue is a beautiful piece of Oregon and the guides and lodges made for an accessible and memorable trip. ROW provided an experience that made us appreciate the natural beauty of the Rogue River and how much work the guides put in to make sure everyone enjoyed their vacation. Would absolutely raft with ROW again.

We had an amazing trip! There was so much attention to detail- delicious food on the trail, fun games, activities and conversations in the evenings. We learned a lot about the river and fell in love with its beauty. Tom, Bri, Justine and Caleb were the BEST guides! We loved spending time with them- both on the trail and in the water! Half Moon Bar was a spectacular stop- I can’t wait to go back!

Once again Row Adventurers surpasses all expectations. I had never been white water rafting, but I knew I could count on Row to deliver a great and safe experience. The lodges and food were great! The guides were experienced, engaging, and put all of our needs first. Thank you Row for this bucket list experience.

What a terrific trip and what a terrific company and outfitter. We did a river rafting trip as a family reunion and have nothing but wonderful memories we will cherish forever. I was a bit nervous to begin with but ROW and all their guides and behind the scene staff are incredibly experienced and knowledgable so even jittery nerves are calmed quickly. And our guides became like family after the first day. Their know-how, attention to detail from planning stages to the trip itself is superb. Always available, always kind, always with a smile. This will not be our last trip with this company.

My girlfriend and I just finished a 3 day trip on the Rogue River with ROW guides Tyler, Hillary and Bree. We were thrilled by their guiding skills and their knowledge of the river and history surrounding the river. Best guides we’ve ever had. The accommodations although rustic were just what we needed after a day on the river. The guides prepared great food for lunch each day. It was fresh, delicious and nicely prepared. The lodges served great food some sourced from their own gardens. All in all a spectacular trip with smiles on every face!

WOW..my husband and I got off the Rogue River (4-day Lodge to Lodge Trip). Special shout out to Team Leader, RYAN and guides: Giles, Matt and Mike! What an incredible experience we had. Thank you all for your genuine kindness and willingness to share in our adventure. We felt totally safe and pampered in your care. Your expertise in rafting, Rogue River history and ecosystem of the river was apparent and appreciated. The lodges were clean, hot water and flushing toilets…..exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you CANDY (admin for ROW) and her husband Will for tagging along. I enjoyed the many conversations we had❤️. So many great memories were made …along with meeting a great group of people along the way. The Half Moon Lodge was by far our favorite…thank you MIKE (owner) for making us feel so welcome. the food and hospitality was amazing. We also want to wish fellow rafters STU and Michelle a safe HOLIDAY - it was great meeting you, mates❤️
WE WILL BE BACK…just sent Candy an email regarding another trip- Thank you for recommending a few ROW trips to us RYAN and CANDY! I can’t wait to bring my boys and their wives on this amazing Rogue River Trip (July 2025???)

Just completed the four day / three night Rogue River hiking / rafting trip with ROW. It was an amazing, fun filled vacation. The ROW Team (Ryan, Matt, Mike and Giles) provided A+++ service and ensured that everyone in the group had a good time and that all needs were met. The service at the lodges was also fantastic. I highly recommend this trip.

Just came back from an amazing 4 day trip on the Rogue River in Oregon with some girlfriends. It was truly a magical trip from the daily hiking/rafting, lodges (each one was special in its own way but Half Moon Bar Lodge was amazing), yummy food, spectacular views, to the terrific guides! Tom, Bri, Caleb, and Justine were truly a delight to be around. Their knowledge, fun loving natures, and hard work made the trip such a lovely experience. I came home completely relaxed and ready for another adventure. Take this trip, you won’t be disappointed in the least!

3 of us booked a full day rafting trip with Morrisons Rogue Wilderness. They offered the options to use the inflatable kayaks (duckies) or riding a raft with others. We had a great time. Our guide, Mika (I hope that’s how he writes his name-sorry 🤭) and all the other guides are super fun guys to be on a trip with. They will walk or raft :) that extra mile for you and your family, friends so you have an outstanding experience on the river. They know the river very well and you feel totally comfortable and safe with them -even with younger kids. Especially if you are a first timer we highly recommend them so you have a great experience with professionals! We had so much fun! Thank you for it!

We had an outstanding trip on our four day hiking and rafting adventure. Knowledgeable guides, great and rustic lodges as well as good food and good friends made for a very memorable time. Be aware of some poison oak on the hiking trails.

We are 100% doing this trip again soon… Guides were all (5) amazing, lodges were warm and inviting and the food was fantastic. Tip of the hat to Morrison Lodge staff and Chef Matt, this young man is an excellent chef. You’ll understand why I’ve called him out after your first experience. Our river guide Andrew Serda… Best I’ve had on any of the many (Oregon, Alaska, Calif.) river trips I’ve had over the past 40 years. Never felt more safe and on the fish, like we did w/ Andrew.
See you again in 2024 !

Our family, including kids aged 9 and 11, did a 2 night rafting trip that was absolutely phenomenal on all levels. The scenery was gorgeous, camping under the stars was peaceful, and the guides were not only super entertaining but also very proficient and safe. To top it off, the food was very healthy and delicious, and the guides are extremely conscientious about protecting the environment- the very reason we are there!

What an amazing adventure! We were guided by Martin, Dustin O, Justin, and Kevin, and they were all amazing guides. The entire trip was so well planned & SO MUCH FUN! The food was fantastic and the camps were fabulous. Our family was on Dustin’s raft and he provided a wealth of information on the Rogue River, and the Rogue Valley. They were all phenomenal guides and made sure there was laughter the entire trip! We can’t wait for our next adventure with Morrison!

This was my first whitewater rafting experience! I tagged along with some friends on a 3 day, 2 night rafting trip and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and they took care of everything for us. This is the way to relax! Our guide was Greg, and he was very experienced, friendly, and helpful. Going through Blossom Bar was probably the most intense part for me, but Greg navigated us through it with ease. All the other guides were amazing as well: Rip, Mackenzie, Marcus (who did an amazing job on the meat!), Christian, and Nick. I highly recommend booking a trip and hope to return in the not so distant future! Thank you Morrison's for a fantastic adventure and experience!

We recently did a half day trip on the Rogue. The outfit served a nice lunch before departure at their scenic lodge. The guides were very seasoned and knowledgeable about every nook in the river. This was one of the more mellow rafting trips I took, but was a great intro for my daughter. We had a very relaxing afternoon in a very beautiful stretch of the river.

I highly praise the 6 man crew for their professional manner, endless patience and dedication to safety of our group of 21 during the 4 day river trip. The meals offered were delicious, with an abundance of choices. The last night we stayed at Paradise Bar lodge. Their staff and accommodations were excellent. The food was great. A beautiful location with resident wildlife. Our crew leader was Martin who I give a 5 plus star rating. The experience was exceptional, one I will remember forever. I highly recommend this company if a river trip is on your bucket list.

I was so very nervous/hesitant to go on this trip but I'm so glad I did. Our guide, Greg, was fabulous. I was at-ease for most of the trip and he talked us through how to handle each area. He was a pro! I highly recommend anyone getting out of their comfort zone and booking this trip with a stayover at Paradise Lodge. The food was incredible. The views were incredible. The experience was incredible.

Our rafting trip with Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures was nothing short of extraordinary! From the start, the team at Morrisons left no stone unturned to ensure that our adventure was impeccably planned and executed. Whether you're an experienced rafter or a first-timer, they cater to every need.
Our guide Ryan was the perfect blend of knowledgeable, attentive, humorous, and cautious. He lead 2 other rafts at the same time. His love for and knowledge of the Rogue River made the trip all the more fun.
The rapids were perfectly suited for beginners, and the option to solo kayak added an exciting touch of challenge for those seeking it. I definitely made use of it and highly recommend it. Our children, aged 6 and 9, had the time of their lives! Watching their faces light up with joy and excitement was truly priceless.
We saw Ospreys soaring above us and turtles on the shores. We jumped into the river for swim breaks multiple times. The provided lunch was not only delicious, but also thoughtfully prepared, adding to our memorable day. The chocolate chip cookies were.. yeah amazing.
The full day of rafting was filled with moments of thrill, laughter, fun, and filled with awesome surrounding natural beauty.
Our experience with Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures was outstanding and one we will cherish forever. If you are looking for a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty, look no further than a rafting trip down the scenic Rogue River with this excellent crew. It's an adventure you'll remember for a lifetime.

My husband and I just finished a raft supported hiking trip of the wild and scenic part of the Rogue river. It exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and the care and comfort of the guests was perfect. I was worried about hiking such a long stretch and the ability to get in the rafts and hit the water multiple times a day made it so much more enjoyable for me. Our trip leader Sorin and her guides Marcus and Maynard were so welcoming and friendly we felt like family. I highly recommend this company - their care and customer service we’re second to none.

This was my first time river rafting. It was soo much fun! The lunch to start us off was awesome! Great quality food and it felt like home. Our guide Rip was awesome! He made us feel safe and he was soo much fun! He talked and interacted with us and made the trip extra fun! Having the inflatable kayak available to us made it even more fun! I loved it soo much! This experience made me want to book another one with bigger rapids! There was one downfall to the trip. There was a lead guide, named Don or something like that. He was soo rude! Our group fell behind and once we caught up to him he reprimanded our guide in front of everyone! Asking him if he knew how to row and everything ! Saying our guide made it unsafe for everyone. Which is totally not true. This lead guide made his raft and ours feel soo uncomfortable. That was soo unprofessional. He kept making comments to our guide and under his breath that were just so uncalled for and not professional. I would love to book another raft with you all but am hesitant because if that guide is there I won’t book it. I still gave a 5 star because everything except for that lead guide, was amazing ! Thank you!

Our guides, Brent and Soren, made for a wonderful trip. Kind and courteous, they both tended to all our needs despite none of us being sandwich people. Soren allowed us all to row to our hearts content. Highly recommend Morrison’s!
The Wimer Covered Bridge crosses Evans Creek in Wimer, Oregon.
The original 85 foot bridge was constructed in 1892, rebuilt in 1927, and rebuilt again in 2008 following the Queenspost trust design of the original.
The historic bridge collapsed on July 6th, 2003, a year before it was schedueled for maintainace.

What an amazing place! Top notch
Place to relax and enjoy great wines. I worked in the winery business years ago in Napa and Sonoma County. I can safely say that they don't make a bad bottle of wine! Their winemaker is a true artist. And better yet their staff is amazing. I own a customer service business, so I don't tak
e that lightly. Their staff like Sue are great. Kimberly the head of the tasting room is so great and exceed all expectations.

Friendly service and exceptionally beautiful views made for an enjoyable and peaceful afternoon. The wine wasn't my favorite... I tried 4 and they were all very dry. For a wine drinker who likes very dry wine, this would be perfect. I wish they had at least one option that was a bit sweeter and/or semi-sparkling.

If you're looking for great wine, great food, and great atmosphere, look no further! Kriselle has it all and a friendly staff to boot! I've never had a wine there that I didn't enjoy. The Sauvignon Blanc is hard to beat. Go on a Saturday or Sunday and get the Chicken Sausage and Mushroom Pizza. You won't be disappointed!

Kimberly was nothing short of amazing! If you’re looking for legitimately great food to pair with your wine, this is your place. And don’t even try NOT to order the the curry chicken salad, it’s a given 😜 and you will not be disappointed. Grab the prosciutto wrapped dates and you’ll have most of the wine menu pairings taken care of. Absolutely loved it!

We had an excellent time at this beautiful winery! We had the mixed tasting (2 white, 2 red) and a variety of snacks: the cheese plate, potato chips with blue cheese, and prosciutto wrapped dates. Everything was a hit! The cheese plate was the perfect accompaniment to our wine (the bread was especially nice) but the potato chips were the real treat. We enjoyed all the wines, especially the viognier, which we each ordered a glass of after our tasting. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. We were lucky that the weather was beautiful so we could sit on their spacious patio and enjoy the views. Service was great too! Kriselle Cellars is very close to the Upper Table Rock Trailhead if you want to earn your wine as we did! I would love to come back on a weekend and try their pizza too.

Beautiful winery with a great view, I wish it hadn't been so hot when we visited so we could have enjoyed the patio. Service was excellent and the wine was great. I especially liked the Albarino, Di'tani, and Malbec. The location is a bit far out, but worth the drive.

My wife and I enjoyed a flight of red wines at Kriselle Cellars on Monday afternoon. We arrived approximately 90 minutes before closing. The winemaker briefly visited with us - a great bonus. My wife and I liked the Malbec and Cab Sauv best, but all were very tasty. I had not been to southern Oregon and was a bit reluctant to get the red wine flight as I prefer dark/bold reds - Kriselle's red wines exceeded my expectations by being very dark and bold (and tasty). I had a glass of the Malbec while my wife then had a glass of the Rose' while enjoying views of the beautiful estate. We would definitely return!

Absolutely love Kriselle Cellars. I've been a member for a year now. Great wines, delicious pizzas with my favorite being the Margarita and their Kriselle Platter which includes Capicola Slices, Savory Herbed Cream Cheese Spread, Sliced Tomatoes, Italian Olive, Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar and Warmed Baguetteis are by far my favorites. The scenery is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. Always a pleasurable time!!! And kudos to Mateo for always making our wine experience fun with great laughter. See you all soon!

Tried the wine and ordered bacon-wrapped dates. The wine and food were underwhelming. We waited quite a while and asked about our order. The food was served on a paper plate and it was charred. I think the wait staff forgot the order. I don’t remember an apology or offer to redo the order. It seemed like they thought overcooked, charred food served late on a paper plate was standard operating procedure.
Love this place!Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They take care of everything all you have to do is enjoy your float down river.1 trip last year and 3 this year with them and cant wait to go back.

Love rafting the rogue and these folks did great! Our tour person who brought us to our drop off point was informative and kind. We also didn't have to wait for them to come back and get us we simply dropped the boat at the pulling spot and walked back to the shop in a minute or two and they went and picked it up. A very smooth transition! We were having margaritas at Miguel's in no time!

Super convenient because you can rent the raft, they drop you off with it just below lost-creek and then you raft back to the shop. Easy peasy.

I noticed that none of the bathroom fans worked in any of the 3 rooms that my family were in on the second floor. 🤔 I really liked the fresh new look in the public restroom, pool dressing room, and dry sauna. 🙂
We were there to celebrate my daughter and daughter-in-law's birthdays. We had a great time and they even won some birthday cash! 🤑

If you booked prior to January 1st, double check the rate you booked at and the rate you’re actually charged! First, the newly remodeled rooms are very nice and clean. I loved how spacious it was and the comfortable seating area. Only problem with the room was the A/C, no matter how low we set it (on high, cool or auto cool) it wouldn’t drop below 76 at night which made it hard to sleep. When we checked in the front desk agent did not verify the dates we were staying or the rate and I didn’t think to ask as I had booked over the phone and was emailed a confirmation. The next morning there was a receipt under the door so I called the front desk to double check we were still booked another night and they said when there system updated it changed our stay to 1 night, they said it would be taken care of and they’d change the rate to $112 which is what I was originally quoted. Housekeeping still tried to come into the room and tell us it’s after checkout, so it was never communicated. We went down, got new keys, and a manger fixed the reservation. I then asked him to verify the price for both nights and they were set about $70 higher than I was quoted even after I was told it would be taken care of. Again, they said the system update changed the prices, so I’m sure a lot of people got charged more than quoted. He was very friendly and fixed it for us. We then asked for a 12pm checkout and again the next morning housekeeping knocked and asked if we were a late checkout, again telling me it wasn’t communicated even though we asked the night before. The food at Cow Creek was great, and everyone was very friendly.

I love Seven Feathers. I have been to many tribal casinos in the US and everything they do far surpasses all of them. They are extremely clean, they keep decor fresh, great casino floor staff as well as front desk. The restaurants are great and their point systems rock. It isn’t too big and it isn’t too small. This is by far my favorite casino to come to even when I lose! Great job management and team!

Location is convenient because it's right off. The freeway staff is kind of far and few between. But the arcade It's pretty cool. Me and my son went in there and played a bunch of video games.where I don't gamble. Maybe nicer if they expanded the video game center a little more for kids that are here with their parents and made it a little bit more affordable. The way I see it is you already make so much money off of the gambling. Why not give it back by making your arcade a lot more affordable Say a quarter of a game, it's not like you're have very much maintenance and doom and not like you have to watch Over him. Like you do the video game slots. I don't quite understand why they charge so much for it. And don't have a big area, but it was cool.

Always a good time here with friends and family. Love the arcade, pool, sauna and hot tubs. Good food, customer service could be a little better. Waited forty-five minutes for someone to help us in the arcade after i called for assistance, no one showed up. We took a shuttle for free to a restaurant down the street. Nice, friendly driver. Overall great experience.

What a place
If you gamble even a little bit, this is a perfect stop on I-5 in southern Oregon. The place is just plain nice. The check in is easy, the rooms are awesome and the Casino is a happening place. Try the new game of Spanish 21....... My buddy and I both did well. Finish your day off with a great tub in the spacious spa. I will definitely be back.

Always Pleasant and Worthwhile! I go monthly with my kids and sometimes just me. The staff is generous, kind, and just amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. I actually went this time to celebrate my birthday. I got a surprise knock at the door and there was an employee standing there with a yummy piece of cheesecake and a birthday card for me from the front desk. 😋 so sweet!

Was a quick trip but I enjoyed the hot tub and kids really liked swimming and the arcade room. Wish there was more food choices to eat, felt limited. Haven't been since post covid when they had the all you can eat. Had a good time, short and sweet. I'll definitely go back, maybe for a few more days.

Great Casino to stop at if you’re traveling with children. They have a pool and arcade to keep the kids occupied as well as a few family friendly restaurants. The only thing as a downside is the prices of the restaurants are a bit expensive for what they are. For adults the casino has a wide variety of machines as well as a good number of table games. My family and I stayed the night and the rooms were spacey and pretty luxurious.

Love to get away to this lively place, fun to get away and have a meal, or play some machines maybe take a moment to stop in the bingo hall and play a few cards. They always have live concerts or some kind of attraction going on. The rooms are very decent priced and well kept up. Also they have a vip room its amazing should definitely check it out if you haven't yet.

This place sucks unless you like giving money away. We never win. Not sure why we come back ever except that it is close to home. We figured we might win at least once. Never happens, might as well just walk in and hand them our money. They are to greedy for us. Will not be going back. Would rather drive further where at least there is a chance to win. The only reason there are good reviews on here is because the hotel is nice as long as your not going to gamble don't waste your time or hard earned money.

Our car broke down on the way to California and we needed a place to stay for the night. Fortunately they had rooms, although it was pricey!! The room was nice. No complaints. The casino area was not too crowded, but seemed smaller than expected. I liked that there were beverage areas for sodas and coffee as you were gambling. We ate in one restaurant, diner type. It was okay. I felt like we waited a bit for the waitress to take our order. All the staff that helped us were nice. They also have an indoor swimming pool that a lot of families were using. Would I stay again, probably not, but if I lived in the area, I would for a short getaway.

I've not stayed in the rooms as it is my stop heading up north with my RV. No hookups, but it's great to have a rest here for the night. The place is very clean. Diner Restaurant was nice, and breakfast was great for the grandson. Nice perk was we happen to be there a day they host a Farmers Market. The grounds are beautiful, especially all the roses. Great to see they offer their venue for a space for the community to have a farmers market where we bought several items for the reminder of our trip. Also, across the highway, they have a fabulous fuel/struck stop. So clean!

Cow Creek Cafe has large breakfasts and they are very tasty. The casino and hotel Christmas decorations are the best I have seen in a public place in quite a while. Sorry there is not room service or cleaning because of Covid. But the service was outstanding. We could ask for fresh towels or extra glasses and be served quickly. Everyone was friendly and nice. First time I have stayed but won't be the last.

Atmospheres nice, the people are really happy and comfortable working there. They really is no stress on the gambling floor. All the games are clean. It smells really nice. The only problem is the food seems to be designed for the older palette. So it's plain and a bit mushy. I had hash browns that taste like there was mashed potatoes inside. Very odd. But other than that it's a really great place to go and hang out and get your gamble on.

I was put on the wait list on one of the most busiest night of the year. They contacted, explained what was going to happen, and got me a room as soon as someone cancelled. They are always friendly, efficient, and helpful. The rooms are always clean and the beds very comfortable. I truly enjoy staying at the hotel.

Loved the room. Bed was comfortable. Big bathroom. We enjoyed the sitting area. The pool and spa looks great but didn't have time to use, will have to come back. Casino was smokey, not really my thing, ran through my $20 bucks in less than 20 min. Next time I will save it for the spa.

Last summer (2022) we visited and had a good time. Fast forward to this summer we received some coupons and free play dollars—we spent a total of two nights this time around. Excellent modern rooms. The casino has a great vibe, and I appreciate they have lots of places to chill besides just in front of slots.
The pool is great, and the restaurants are a great value with great flavor. We don’t live close so won’t be back for a bit, but look forward to going back. Easily the best casino in Oregon!

The casino is nice for those who like to gamble. The hotel was not worth $220 per night it has very poor water pressure in the shower couldn't even was my hair. I was just blown off when I let the front desk staff know. We did stay in the side they said was the better side. Not a luxury hotel. I would say good option if you want to drink and gamble and not get a DUI.

This establishment is widely regarded as one of the premier gaming destinations within the state of Oregon. However, it does have one notable drawback, which is the relatively early closing time. On the positive side, smoking is permitted within the premises. I would like to inquire if there is a designated non-smoking section available. I frequent this establishment periodically and consistently return due to the exceptional quality of the games offered.

Had a great time as always. The resort is designed for families. They have a large pool, hot tub, video game room. The rooms are clean and updated constantly. The restaurants are first class food. Pizza, umpqua ice cream and pastry station. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Sadly, I have to make my first not so raving post. I’m not sure what happened when you folks made all of the changes. But it shows. Drinks from a server were very weak , but when got from bar they were on par. (Doubles all night) room was not as cleans as usual. food was great as always, staff is the best. Tight machines. We are all trying to guys, loosen up. Also no cookies on a Friday. What the heck guys…… I’ll see ya soon. Cheers

The rooms were clean and beautiful, the water pressure was amazing, and the water was hot hot! Wish their coffee tasted better in the room.
Wish they had a breakfast special for guests staying . Only complaint about the casino….the cigarette smoke it awful! Needs better ventilation. And more dining options.
Overall was a fantastic stay!

I expected a nice meal but I was served raw chicken. Management probably hires an inexperienced chef. I asked for a refund and i was told that I ate it already by the server. Poor chef poor, staff and a lying waitress! I broke the chicken into piece due to one that was RAW. Too bad I was willing to tip. I will not miss this place! Adios their slots sucks 700$ in and no payout on a bonus feature.

Amazing place. Customer service was so nice and accommodating. We forgot some of our toiletries and they were so awesome at helping us get what we need. We ate dinner at the steak house, Kbar. The food was amazing, but our waiter made the experience so memorable 💖. The casino was fun as well, we didn't go to the concert cause it was sold out, but people said it was great.

It’s a casino and that is pretty much it. There are services for kids. If you bring your children with you there’s a nice large pool and small arcade. There are very few restaurants that are kid friendly, but there is a nice cafeteria, which has the best food prices, and probably the best food, I have pictured it in my photos. The service overall was OK. There was a mix of workers who were happy to be there and others who did not like their job and it was apparent. Don’t expect any extra accommodations. If they do something wrong they don’t seem to care at all. Stayed the night, the accommodations were comfortable, so no complaints about the hotel room. However, if you’re sensitive to smoke, the casino does allow smoking in most areas and you can smell smoke through most of the halls of the hotel, and sometimes through your vent in your bedroom, even though the rooms are non-smoking. They kept saying over the speakers that someone was winning over twelve hundred dollars like every hour or less but I never saw someone win money or that large of a sum of money so it felt like it was a recording. Most gamblers did not seem to be happy Did not really see many people winning so if you’re going there, expecting to win don’t. If you’re a strategic gambler, you might do well, a lot of the workers on the tables seem to be newer, which could also mess you up as well if you are experienced, so overall it is a mix of everything. Restaurants are not too good there was a fly in my drink twice at one of the bars but don’t let that stop you from trying the food. Don’t have any expectations. I would go back again though. Overall not too bad.
Thanks so much to Kristie for the fantastic service!! We had a blast with our bachelorette crew yesterday and decided to stay out here instead of going on to different wineries. Such amazing wine and atmosphere!!

Maybe it's a good thing that Girardet isn't marked from the road, it feels like a hidden corner of the excellent Umpqua Valley wine region and makes for an intimate, personal tasting experience. The service is great and prices are very reasonable for some of the best wines in the area. Every one we tried was delicious, and we especially loved the Baco Noir. Have been here a couple of times now and we make a point of stopping in any time we're in the area.

Great experience! Simple, unpretentious place with great wines and nice people. I liked the fact that I had to call the staff once I arrived and he came straight from working on the vineyard. We had a nice talk about winemaking. It made me feel closer to the grapes than most of the wineries visits I had during my trip.
This was what I was looking for when I planned my wine tasting trip!

Abacela Winery is named after an old Spanish word meaning "to plant grapevines." The winery, run by a husband-wife team, offers a wide variety of beautifully complex and structured wines. Visitors can enjoy the full-flavored light wines and also have the option to pair them with food. The staff, like wine expert Hailey, are known for being friendly and informative, making for a wonderful overall experience at Abacela Winery.
Fantastic tasting experience. Delicious flight of wines paired with excellent cheese board arrangement. Knowledge and kind staff, and a beautiful building and indoor seating area surrounded by great scenery.

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and have been dying to try some places that we’ve never been to. Let me tell you, the wines were amazing. My boyfriend has been to several wine tastings but this was my first and I had an incredible time. The wines we tasted were beautifully complex and structured.. and even the light wines were so full of flavor.
Unfortunately we did not try any food but we will next time.
And thank you so much to our wine expert Hailey who took care of us. She was so friendly and informative. Made for a wonderful experience.

Picturesque winery near Roseburg. We had 2 different flights. We also ordered cheese & charcuterie board - which was excellent. All wines we tried were good - Syrah being my favorite. It was interesting that the winery offers several Spanish varietals, which were nice change from usual Oregon Pinot Noirs. Also enjoyed very calm and laid-back atmosphere. Definitely put it on your list of wineries to visit in Umpqua Valley region.

Discover this place for Valentine's Day, had a wonderful dinner and met great people. Arguably one of the best port wines anyway. Ask for Joe or Sam and make sure you get a flight then end it with a port. We got ourselves a 2007 and a 2012. A wonderful wonderful place.

Wonderful winery, with a very nice tasting room and outside patio. Some really exceptional Spanish and Italian varietals you won't find in the Willamette Valley wineries. All of their wines are good, and a few are exceptional including the Reserve Tempranillo, and the Paramour blend. On the most recent visit we discovered they hold club pick-up event in Portland, so may consider joining.

Lovely view, quiet area and nice facility. Service is OK. The wines seem good to me but expensive (to me but then I'm more of a low end wine person). One of the best ports I've ever had. Dogs on the patio are allowed.
Wildlife Safari is a 600-acre park that boasts an impressive collection of animals from around the globe. Visitors can embark on a 4.5-mile drive-thru loop to see these creatures up close and in their natural habitats, including deer and emus giving birth. Beyond the drive-thru, guests can also explore the barn and get even closer to some of the animals.
Awesome place to go with family and friends!
Lots of animals to see and even feed a few!
After the nice relaxing drive around you can even park and see more animals!
Staff was very friendly! Some of the staff even stayed next to the animals and said a few facts and were always making sure you enjoyed it!
Definitely recommend going to this place!

The Wildlife Safari is located in Winston, Oregon. You can pay to go through the drive through to see bears, bison, elephants, giraffes, and many other animals, but if you plan to go through the drive through a couple more times it is best to buy a membership for $120 annually. You can go through the drive through as many times as you would like the entire year. You can add a person onto the membership, so you could also just go in on a membership with a family member or a friend. You can walk through and look at many other animals for free, with donations kindly accepted. There is a small playground for children, a cafeteria/ restaurant, many different species of animals to look at as well as a petting zoo area.

Great little set up. Lots of great things to see. My advice is don't let the guy behind you rush you through. Tell him/her to go around and race to the finish on their own time. You only get the one trip through and it's not by the car but the passengers inside so take your time and really enjoy the presentation. I love the fact that they are doing this the right way and not like some nasty places that try to make money off the poor animals.

Tons of family fun. Lots of animals to see, plenty of activities in the village. Playground, petting zoo, camel rides, train rides, Photo Booth. snacks, gift shop. Everything extra cost extra. Place is affordable for the most part and about average. Lots of more intimate options for interacting with animals for a cost. Arrived at 2pm and many animals were napping already. You could see them; just laying down. Earlier arrival time would be best we assumed. Village layout is a little confusing and viewing window glass had major glare. We will be back.

We spent today here. It had been many years since we'd been there, so some things have changed, such as some of the predatory animals not roaming free as in yrs past. But, I do understand why they probably had to change that. Still, we enjoyed it so much. The weather was perfect, and this place is so well maintained. Definitely do the walk through as well, if you have time. The landscaping is very pretty, too. Both adults and children really love feeding the birds, in the aviary.

Drove through with family, it was a lot of fun. You must stay in your vehicle at all times. We bought some food in cups to feed the animals through our windows. We had enough time pause in our car and take pictures along the way. There's souvenirs available at the end, highly recommend as a family stop!

Loved it so much and only wish we'd got there earlier in the day to experience more of the safari village! The drive through was huge, so many animals roaming free - it was really quite spectacular to see such great care for all creatures. The bears were my favourite, also loved the feeding area where we had fun giving snacks to the deer and emus (one of them stole our cup and got chased around by his mate, we were laughing for ages). We ended our tour with a sticker for the van and a little peek at the cheetah. I'd definitely recommend this safari for all ages, stay for the whole day and enjoy it!

I love this place. Went with my granddaughters. They had a blast. They loved feeding the animals. The ostriches and deer came straight up to my car. The bears are my favorite. They seemed so relaxed laying in the shade. The leopards and cheetahs were nice to see. We saw them eating their dinner. The walk in part of the park was very nice. We walked around and saw several animals there. We loved the babies. I would highly recommend this place. It is a great place to stop while on vacation or if you just want to have a special day.

A great place for people young and old. The kids we're super excited each time we spotted a new animal on the drive through, and the adults felt a child like anticipation. The walk through village offered an educational experience with different animals to see and interact with and the chance to see some creatures very up close and personal.

Drove down from Portland for a day adventure with my 3 children. This place does not disappoint! So much fun, much better than the Oregon Zoo. I have been visiting Wildlife Safari for the past 35+ years (about every 4-5 years we make a trip down). It's a wonderful experience, and a treat to see so many animals- some up close! Some things have changed over the years. For example, the lions used to roam free to the point they had to open a gate to let each car in and out. Now they're contained behind fences. I'm guessing it's an insurance requirement (which says more for society than anything). It's still a great place to visit.
The day we were there this time was pretty hot. The rhinos were hiding in the shade near the top of the hill, but other than that, pretty much all of the other critters were out and about. We didn't do the train or camel ride this time, but have in the past (and enjoyed both).
All in all, Wildlife Safari is absolutely worth a trip- granted it's no Loro Parque, but is educational, charming, and enjoyable in it's own way. Yes, we will absolutely be back in a couple years.

Beautiful sunny day that wasn't too cold so we could enjoy the animals with the windows down. Went in the afternoon of a weekday, so very light traffic & the animals were all out & playful. This preserve is spectacular & massive with so many animals from all over the world. Today's favorite was the young grizzly bear playing & running. Also, two Emos fighting over the feed cup LOL. Make sure to bring at least $5 cash so you can feed some of the animals. This place is a must see & I'll be going back at least once a year!

Wow wow wow, This was such a great experience. We last minute got tickets for this safari on our way up to Portland and it was 100% worth it. There was a slight drilling so it was am interesting experience. Many of the animals were out cuddled up with each other. We spent around 2 hours here. Not many cars on the trail. Be careful feeding the emus... food go everywhere haha. This is a must stop !

Interesting set up. Not much of a place to enjoy wine if you visit during a rainy week day. Which seems to most days in roseburg.
The son gives you a wealth of knowledge and history of wines to his degree. Spent enough to be comparable to a group of 4, but alone. Was hurried out of there because I was inquiring too much about wines and having a conversation with the son by the mom.
The dad gave superb service to the group. But if you go in as one person, might not be received as well.

Recently my wife and I visited the Hillcrest winery and learned what "dry farming" was. The owner though she was busy (the only person working) took the time to answer our questions and share the history of Hillcrest. This is the oldest Estate Winery in Oregon and the owners are passionate about what they do. The wines are excellent and one should definitely make this winery a "for sure" stop!

Service was good, but tasting fee was pricey compared to other wineries in the area. We ended up leaving without buying a bottle because we didn't love any of the wine we tasted and they were also not affordable. Not a place to go if you're doing tastings around the area or if you're on a budget.

We will for sure be back and are excited to get your wines all the way from Indiana. Cheers!

Discovered this place while wine tasting for my 5 year Anniversary. Love the atmosphere of being rustic and old school. The wine is very tasty and has plenty to choose from. The fact that this place is the oldest in Oregon, and still in operation is amazing. Highly recommend going here. Great Experience.
Whenever I have friends visiting from out of state that would like to visit a local vineyard, I take them to Reustle (pronounced rustle, like rustle the leaves) Prayer rock Vineyard. It is always a first class experience and they come home with lots of wine to share. One of the benefits of being a good host. The wine tastings are a delight, the pairings with snacks are always fun. I've been to almost all of Douglas Counties wineries and Prayer Rock is at the top of the list.

We joined the conseires club in november and just picked up our second month of 6 bottles. They brought us around back into the cave in a members only area. It was all decked out in christmas decore. The gal helping us was super nice and introduced us to the owners wife. She was very delightful and welcomed us to the wine club family. We ordered a cheese and meat plate, which is amazing, and enjoyed a bottle of our wine in a private pod on the front patio. Very romantic and always a pleasure to be there.

Company did a presentation for my local Wine Group, promoting great customer service, Christian beliefs and doing the right thing
Let me say my experience is far from that , they made a mistake on shipping and say they will make it right. Do not believe them
Still waiting for replacement of wine ( which they said to me over the phone they would do ) many many weeks later still nothing
Actions speak louder than words
My wine group will never invite them back

Amazing venue. Range of wine. Great service. Highly affordable bites to eat. Yes. really. The wine cave is absolutely gorgeous (rec to owner-play some Spotify guitar music lightly on the background)
Wines range from pretty good to amazing. Tasting comes with accompanying bites and tasting fee dropped with purchase (fee $15 pp, spend $50 pp to waive fee)
Such a terrific venue…..go!

This was an amazing experience. The wines are fabulous and of the 10 we tasted were consistently 4/5 to 5/5. The tasting room, building and grounds are amazing. The staff was incredibly warm and good educators without any pretense. The wine club is incredibly well thought out with a better system than others. I highly recommend a stop and don't doubt you'll be back.

Nice, quiet wine tasting today - thanks, Jolene!

Escaped the kids for a few hours tasting some beautiful wines here. My wife and I shared two separate wine flights on the recommendation of the server. This gave us access to taste 8 fantastic wines. We also had some small cheese bite pairings to enjoy with the wine. We enjoyed ourselves and really appreciated the time they took to educate a couple of wine rookies.

Underwhelming experience. The staff was very impersonal and did the absolute bare minimum in welcoming you. Such a cool spot with potential but the people are what bring you back and this place, I would highly suggest going elsewhere.
Talk about family friendly!??? My friend from out of town and I came with our two boys. We didn’t know they were “technically closed”, however they still let them play on the bouncy houses while we enjoyed some delicious wine!!
I will return often and bring any visitors that come to town!!!!

We went to the winery on Sunday the 13th of August and the very gracious lady was informative and helpful! She took the time to explain things my wife and I. The wine Veraison is TREMENDOUS and a very drinkable wine. This is a great spot and they are very down to earth. A real gem!

A lovely afternoon, in a beautiful setting, with great, welcoming people. Our family enjoyed our afternoon here. It was great to see Mr. Scott Henry as he greeted us upon arrival. Many yard games to play, bring the family and relax!

Henry himself sat and drank wine with us. I can only describe this as a magical experience. He shared his life story with us and made us feel like family, sitting around, telling stories and drinking amazing wine. The scenery was breath taking and the company was even better. Cannot recommend a better place to spend an evening. Great wine, great people.

Wonderful service, super friendly and very personable. Scott and Karen took the time to get to know us during our tasting and shared with us so many great stories and experiences. Scott's Valentine's day chocolate teddy bear was the cutest and he reminded us of Carl from the movie Up. They had a unique selection of wines, and their Veraison was amazing! We'll definitely come back this summer when the weather is nicer and covid let's everyone enjoy life a little better. Thanks for starting our Valentine's Day on the right foot!
July 10, 2017 -- My first whitewater rafting trip! I can't imagine having a more expert and fun guide than Bill. Whitewater rafting had always been out of my comfort zone, but my 16 yr. old grandson was visiting from Massachusetts, so my husband and I, both in our sixties, thought, 'what the heck, we ain't getting any younger,' so we did it, thinking it would be a great memory for our grandson to have of us together. Personally, I wish I'd started doing this years ago; we had an absolute blast! (Even if Bill did seem to always hit those rapids so I'd get swamped! I think that's the cleanest my left ear has ever been!) Seriously, Bill's calm, easy manner, experience/knowledge of the ebb and flow of the river, and it's history, made it a wonderful day. So if you're up for a little adventure, beautiful scenery and just a genuinely good time, I highly recommend North Umpqua Outfitters.

If you are considering rafting on Oregon, this place is a must! We booked the full day of rafting and could not be more happy with our experience. Bill the owner was so kind, and Ace our guide was absolutely wonderful! Booking this experience was so seamless and I was happy to note that the lunch provided was absolutely delicious! The experience overall was 10/10 and we will surely enjoy the memories for a lifetime!

We really enjoyed our whitewater rafting experience with North Umpqua Outfitters. The river is spectacular, a great opportunity to see and learn about the river and forest around it. Bill and his other guides have so much knowledge and experience, and safety is a priority.
we really had an amazing trip!

Been down twice this year and these folks have been top notch. Thanks to bill for the shuttles and pics and bringing lunch(including the ones i brought) Also Ryan and Ace for giving the guests the best experience you can have. Recommend them and also the duckie trips... A blast.

You literally could not have a better guide than Bill. He has been riding this river for 28 years and he knows it like the back of his hand. Bill knows the current, the flow, and where the hazards are just below the surface. More than that, Bill knows the history of the North Umpqua River, and he tries to make sure every guide that works for him knows it. Hearing the history as you're on the river really helps to connect you to the whole experience! 4/11/18 was my second run on the river and I cannot wait for my next one! Make sure to get a seat up front if you want to get the full experience!!

Loved it!! Thank you Ace and Bill for a wonderful experience on the river. I highly recommend NUO.
Tourist here... Just traveling through and wanted to stop to do something fun. This place is lovely. Highly recommend.
In addition to wine, they have beer on tap, as well as other beverage options and a small snack selection too.
They have a heated, covered outdoor patio where dogs are allowed.

An excellent place to stop for great wine and superb service. A beautiful patio to sip wine that is family/dog friendly. Inside the tasting room is large and clean with several varietals. Wine was great for any palette. Service was amazing with friendly conversation and knowledgeable staff. I won't be going through Elkton without stopping from now on.

Excellent wine tasting room near their winery. Pleasant ambiance; exceptionally pleasant service.
They serve up many high quality wines (award winning), including several somewhat unique varieties (white Pinot noir was my favorite).
$5 tasting fee waived with purchase of 3 bottles. Highly recommend visiting.

Can't speak to the wine. We wanted to taste, but not for $15 for four tastes. Oh, and you had to buy *three* bottles to get the tasting free! 😲🤯 Hard pass. Especially with so many other wonderful options in Elkton. Too bad. Lovely patio.

Had a nice long chat with Terry, the owner about his history in wine making. Tasted four wines, which were all pretty good! Bout the white pinot.
Had a great time here! Excellent wines and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can tell that the staff gets along really well and treat each other as family. That warmth and positivity really comes through in their high quality wines! Great variety of wines with all local grapes and many unique flavors.

We enjoyed our visit to River's Edge very much. We stopped for a tasting and enjoyed chatting with Mike very much. He was entertaining and informative. The tasting and their wines were very reasonably priced. We purchased a bottle of their Elkton Cuvée Pinot Noir. It was delicious! Wish we had more! The tasting room was small, but ample sized for the four of us. Five out of five - do recommend!

We were feeling like we were in an RV caravan heading east on Hwy 38 and wanted a change of scenery. We like side trips and we like wine so we decided to stop in River’s Edge Winery on the corner of River Dr and Hwy 38. We are glad that we did. Colin Dudley did a great job of educating us on the wine and telling the story of the winery. All the wines that we tasted were excellent. We like trying unique varietals and we bought a couple bottles of their 2016 Baco Noir. We tasted the wine about week later and regret not buying more. We visited two other wineries that day and it reminded me of Sonoma County 40 years ago.

I recently spent a few days with my daughter in Oregon and we decided to go for a wine tasting at River's Edge. It was the best experience we could have had. Amazing wines, a great conversation with one of the employees (sorry, I can't remember his name), hummingbirds outside the window and lots of free running turkeys for entertainment. Just ordered a case of wine, because it was definitely worth it.

I love love LOVE stopping by this winery on my way to the coat. As a Native Oregonian, Pinot Noir is in my blood! Not really, but you get what I'm saying: I'm a fan of the varietal. Rivers Edge has some of the best Pinots! And they new guys that took over are super knowledgeable and friendly when it comes to tastings. In addition to Pinots, the do a bunch of fun whites including a Sparkling! Rivers Edge knocks it out of the park with service and wine style. I highly recommend giving them a try when you're in the adorable town of Elkton.
We are from San Francisco and love Mexican. This review is a rare one for me because the food really did blow us away.. it’s been a while since we were all really impressed. We were really really impressed with the food. Our kids ordered plates with two tacos rice and beans. The plates were big beautiful ceramic plates, beans hot with a touch of cheese melting, rice was deliciously cooked seasoned, the chicken in the taco was moist and delicious, with fresh salsa. My wife and I had the fajita bowls where the onions peppers were fresh and just seared. The chicken grilled perfectly, over rice and black beans. I could taste the roasted tomato, I asked for roasted jallipeno and it was also done perfectly. Sour cream on top.. it’s was all fresh, grilled veggies came through, flavors amazing.
Hats off to the cook! Dude You are much appreciated.. I can see why the reviews are all so good.
It’s about 5 min off I5. We’ll be back.
The only down side was the side of guacamole. It was so so . Chips were perfect, hot, crisp..the place is a bit hidden.. it’s Not the Mexican place next to the gas station..

Recently had cause to go to Ashland, and was excited to knock a few towns off the Great Oregon Burger Bucket List (my quest to have a burger in every town in Oregon). Found a Mexican restaurant with burgers, La Pinata, in Drain, and headed over. Really cool local spot. Serves just about everything, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Huge cookies!! Being sold to pay for trips to watch the Atlanta Braves, of which this is a mini Mecca for fans.
I asked if it was a decent serving of onion rings, and boy howdy!! They gave about twice as much as most places do. Great prices, $20 with the tip for a big bacon burger, lots of onion rings, large drink, and two huuuuge cookies. Onion rings were great crispy batter with a soft onion inside, mild taste to the batter. I don't normally use fry sauce for onion rings, but wanted to try it, and the fry sauce is very solid-a slight tang and very smooth. If I lived in Drain, I'd probably probably be here twice a month just for fries & sauce with a beer to wash it down.
I got the bacon mushroom Swiss burger, despite not being a typical mushroom burger guy, because it was recommended in reviews and is their top selling item overall according to the very helpful waitress. It was a burger you could smell the meat from while it was being brought to you. The tease of the scent alone promised a solid burger, and it lived up to its tease & reputation. Juicy beef and thick tasty bacon with a very generous helping of veggies on a solid bun. The mushrooms were great, just noticeable enough to know it's a mushroom burger without being over powering.

Very good food very good service. The couple across from me were very picky there wasn't anything the waitress could do to make them happy. I tried to pick up their tab but it was already done so I gave her a generous tip in hopes it made up for the difficult people she had to deal with LOL

King Estate Winery is a charming organic vineyard that offers carefully sourced American cuisine in a relaxed and well-polished bistro. It is known to be one of the favorite wineries in the United States, popular for its exquisite wines that have been appreciated by many for over ten years. The vineyard boasts picturesque views and great service, making it perfect for intimate dinners or groups alike.
Took my mom there to celebrate her 65th birthday, my 44th birthday, & my 22nd year anniversary with my company. Had an amazing time there back in mid September around harvest time. We caught a couple to do a tour with & were invited to join them after our flight tasting. We enjoyed that as well as the blueberry cheesecake which was by far the very best cheesecake that we had which led my mother to purchasing another to go. It was that good! Hope to be able to return sometime in the future. But want to give a very special thank you to Jodi & Lily for one of the most unforgettable experiences we'll always remember. I wish more of your products made it to San Antonio, Texas.

They get one star because the grounds are beautiful and a beautiful location. I made reservations for a Father’s Day brunch, a day later I received a text message, not a phone call, telling me the kitchen is going through a re-organization, and the menu is greatly reduced. I called the reservation line to get a better understanding of the problem. I was told in not so many words that the kitchen staff had quit unexpectedly, and they don’t have the staff to fulfill the menu. I decided to keep the reservation since they still had salads and a charcuterie board available.
I scheduled the earliest reservation available and noticed the restaurant filling up during our time there. Before we were halfway done with our meal, our waitress came to our table and told us that other reservations were scheduled in our table and we had to leave in 20 minutes. That was the most disrespectful and absurd thing our waitress could have said to us. I seriously contemplated not leaving her a tip at all. My parents were appalled on Father’s Day, and so was I. Then she came to our table with the check and a box and was very adamant about getting us out the door as soon as possible. I didn’t even get to finish my wine. How disrespectful. I can very easily come to King Estates to enjoy the grounds and the view and not spend a single dime at that place ever again. The wines are not even that good. They are over priced and don’t have a full selection. No Chardonnays or ports whatsoever. Only dry bitter wines that reflect their dry bitter service.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the King Estate Winery for brunch, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Nestled atop a hill, the winery offers stunning panoramic views that are truly a sight to behold on clear days.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the delectable food. The salad was delightful with its inclusion of unusual edible flowers, adding a touch of elegance and visual appeal. The fried potatoes served alongside had a crispy outer layer that gave way to moist insides.
The dining environment and tasting room exudes an air of sophistication, with its elegant hardwood and possibly rock floor. The provision of well-stocked hygiene products in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The free electric car chargers were a welcome surprise, making it very convenient for those, like us, who drive electric vehicles.
In conclusion, my experience at King Estate Winery was unforgettable. From the breathtaking views to the delicious food, and the impeccable cleanliness throughout the establishment, it was evident that this winery goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience for its guests.

King Estate Winery is my favorite in the United States. My husband and I have been fans of King Estate wine for more than ten years so when we had the chance to go for brunch and wine tasting, we were so excited to go. Boy, the vineyard, food, and wines were amazing! Go early Wednesday - Sunday, if possible, so that you can be there when there aren't so many people. However, check their website for opening times before you go. I'll be back next year!

The Pinot noir is unmistakably delicious and never fails to please. The restaurant is more of a cheeseboard, past years demonstrated an excellent 5 star menu, sadly no more. At our visit the 55.00 charcuterie board included Parmesan (!), Brie and a lovely smoked cheese. They ran out of small delicious apricot and herb bread if the day. I wonder what’s happened here with food? It is a beautiful drive and the gardens are lovely

A decent place to play Frisbee in the park area near the dam. As lakes go, there are far more exciting choices up the road. It's popular with water skiers, though. Since Dexter Reservoir is basically for regulating flow from Lookout Point Reservoir above, it remains at a pretty steady level despite fluctuations in the water level of Lookout Point Reservoir.
The covered bridge that is now alongside the newer road across the lake to Lowell can be of interest to some, as well as a place to go fishing nearby.

Beautiful little lake with lots to do. Swim, sail, fish or just play in the water. They have drag boat races 3 times a year in June, July and September. There are bald eagles and osprey that fish the lake and you can watch them as they do it. So cool! They also have races with the long boats that have several people in them. Never watched them but it pulls quite a crowd from multiple states.
The Cascades Raptor Center is a nature preserve that showcases close to 50 birds of prey in spacious outdoor enclosures. In addition, the center houses a wildlife hospital. The birds serve as ambassadors for their species and educate visitors on the importance of responsible interaction with nature. All bird exhibits are located outdoors, so visitors should plan their trip accordingly. A recommended visit time is around 2 hours and checking out the center's website beforehand can enhance the overall experience.
This place is AMAZING! My daughter and I love raptors and had wanted to check this place out for awhile~we weren't disappointed! They give birds that can't be in the wild a 2nd chance at a wonderful life!! So many gorgeous raptors: owls, eagles, hawks. It was well worth the $10 entry and I would highly recommend anyone who loves raptors to go spend a few hours here. We even got to see the tiny Saw-whet owl have a feeding with one of the caretakers/handlers! Just an overall beautiful place and I will definitely be going again.

All I can say is “WOW”!! I went with my sister in law, her 3 kids (ages 1.5 -9) and my wife. The kids had a BLAST! Even the youngest was completely entertained the whole self guided tour. The staff was wonderful and so excited for the kiddos to be there! Our absolute favorite part was that all of the owls had a toy ball that they were holding as they slept, it was the cutest thing we’ve seen! On top of that, 3 resident bald eagles is not something you want to miss!
I’m personally a raptor enthusiast with falconry experience and I was so impressed by the standard of care for these amazing birds! Their enclosures are more than appropriate sizing, clean and they have enrichment inside their enclosure as well as an area for their handlers to take them for further enrichment. We will be back for sure!
* It is an outdoor tour, dress appropriately for the weather & be prepared for your toes to be cold! Parking is a bit limited so I would make sure to plan to potentially walk a bit!

We had a great time learning about the Birds of Prey housed at the Cascades Raptor Center. Since they are unable to be reintroduced to their wild habits these birds spend their day being ambassadors to their species and teaching the public about the importance of protecting and interacting appropriately with the natural world.
As you would expect, all the bird exhibits are outside so you'll want to plan your trip accordingly. In my opinion 2 hours was plenty of time to see everything. For a better experience consider checking out their website before you go!

You know when you go to a zoo or something and you look into an enclosure and you can’t see an animal? Just a dark, depressing cage?
Well, this place is not like that.
Granted, it was a weekday, the weather was clear and cool, and there were no crowds.
But this place is special. The birds are so healthy, so chill, and well cared for.
You learn a lot , too. Not only do the displays have great info about the species, but there are separate signs that tell the story about the individual birds you are watching.
And these birds watch you right back. No odd behaviors, no cowering in dark corners .
Obviously this rescue and education center is doing many things right.

Son and I had an amazing time. We actually spent about 3 hours there. They had 35 active aviaries on this day. The program is a must. Our celebrity for the 11:30 program was Dmitri the Eurasian Eagle Owl. We will definitely return!

A great activity to do during covid times. We were able to walk around outside in the fresh air and see amazing raptors up close that we may not otherwise get to experience. All of the animals were very comfortable in their environments and well taken care of. Clean trails and not too busy. Fun for the whole family.

Amazing place to see amazing birds of prey! Some were very active when we visited. You may be able to watch a trainer feed or watch resident education raptors in action. Such great work this hospital and rehab does!

You get a map after you first buy tickets, and walk around see each kind of large bird. Kid friendly, and you get free water.

Wow awesome place to see a great group of raptors. Each one has a good enclosure with a quick blurb about their history (along with the typical species information placard). Staff is friendly and informed. Worth the visit (can be a quick 45 min trip if you want, or extend it out for an enjoyable two hour visit).

I went there i spent about two hours walking around and checking out the birds and learning a lot from the information panels. The staff are super friendly and can answer questions. it is really neat to see them training the birds! You never guess how big a Bald Eagle is until you see them up close. They are huge!
It is a great way to spend some quality time with your family and friends. Super great for schools to take students to.

Loved this place! We visited on a Saturday morning. No lines but parking lot was almost full when we arrived. No big crowds. We enjoyed the staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Great enclosures with access to see each bird. Each bird has a sign giving that bird’s history. Very enjoyable experience. The air was a fragrant forest. Nice and peaceful, quiet. Located in the forest. Highly recommend. Great for kids and adults alike. Cool gift shop.

This place is pretty amazing! Such a wide variety of raptors, including several types of owls, kestrels, falcons, vultures, hawks and eagles. The Bald Eagles are worth the visit just to see them up close, but I think my favorite is the Barn Owl which came from Junction City. Very educational, and a great experience for people of all ages. Walk through at your own pace, and walk around the different areas as many times as you want.

Amazing experience learning about and visiting a variety of birds most people wouldn't have the opportunity to interact with. Staff were very helpful answering questions. The birds get super excited and animated when trainers visit with treats. Great visit.

Engaging Preserve - Worth the Trip
The kids loved all the birds but the Bald Eagle and the Peregrine Falcon were they’re favorites. Small preserve but well maintained. Parking is very limited but you can park across the road near the hiking trail.

My wife and I have not been for over 30 years, so it was time! This is the quintessential Willamette Valley experience. Dress up. Feel a good 70’s peace vibe. Accept and enjoy one another. Get healthy food. Take a sauna. Browse guild level arts and crafts. It’s a medieval village meets a much safer and cleaner Woodstock. Multiple stages from Jazz to burlesque. It’s big. If you drive, you’ll pay $15 to park. Then you’ll walk a looooong way to get through COVID stations. We did will call tickets, but the wait wasn’t bad. $40 a ticket and don’t expect cheapo items to purchase. Quality items. Most take VISA via Square.
We’ll organized and friendly staff.
Great for people watching, music, food and an overall Peace viibe.

Went to this event on Friday. Plenty of parking but a 10 minute walk to the entry gate. Lots of parking attendants and greeters at the gate. Site is filled with trees which is lovely and shade could be found, but not much seating except on the ground. Food was available & reasonably priced for a fair or event. No water available for purchase, but there were water fountains to fill water bottles. Toilet facilities were available, but were pit toilets and the smell was overpowering. It was easy to find the toilets because the smell reached out a good 20 feet from the stalls. There were plenty of sanitation workers to keep the stalls clear of paper & other debris. The rules posted at the entry gate stated "no alcohol, no marijuana," but there were pot clouds throughout the site. There were well-marked recycling stations throughout the venue, which was very helpful and the site was kept as litter-free as possible. Venue rules state that "genitals must be covered" but basically seemed to mean from the waist down, and "covers" might be an over exaggeration in many cases. Music was good and lots to see.
Melanie Marrow — Google review
Everyone raves about this… but IMO, it’s overpriced because all there really is to do is shop and not as many food options as I thought. Super kid friendly… but zero alcohol. Just double the price of what I’d typically pay for the same type of experience elsewhere.
Hayward Field is a historic sports stadium that houses the annual Prefontaine Classic and serves as the home venue of the Oregon Ducks. Recently renovated, it boasts an impressive makeover from its old design with all seats offering great views of the events below. However, visitors should be aware of potential hazards such as steep stairs and lack of coverage for some seats leading to warm temperatures during certain times of day.
The "historic" Hayward Field is gone. The new version is Amazing! Easy access, seats are comfortable. You can be right there at track level with runners a few feet away.

New Hayward is a new makeover from the old venue. If you're a fan coming to watch. Pay attention to the time of day, the overhang doesn't cover all the seats and it gets quite warm. Also the stairs are quite steep, careful on your way up and down. It's easy to miss your step if you're not paying attention. All the seats have great views of all the action below.
Eric Foster — Google review
Great while your seat is in the shade, but if you're in the sun, even on a cooler day, you can suffer a severe sunburn, even with a hat and 50 SPF sunscreen. I would be very careful with children as I saw several sunburned babies.
We were there for the world championship track and field, and that event was amazing.

Oregon Track and Field Preview Meet tonight. First the Women's 10,000 and the Men's. The rest of the events are tomorrow. My first time in the Bizarro Too Much Money Flowing Into Oregon Sports World. Weird Arena. Do what. My biggest complaint is the dumbing down of the fans by the exclusionary seating, viewing, entrance/exit, the nonstop announcer talking at track and field fans like we wandered in from some fraternal order of a corn hole championship drink off. Nonstop music. How idiotic and bored do you think we are. Stop distracting us with the constant barrage of noise. Doubtful I will be back. I ran on this track as an 8 year old. Quarter Mile Cinder track. Yes, change is inevitable. I have been to countless meets here with various configurations of track surface and stadium's add ons. Always enjoyed myself. The Track as presented here is the antithesis of the jumbotron film celebrating Eugene Community supporting running and track. Wire your $&#@ and get it straight. The people who volunteer here are top notch. Aces High. I thank you.

Krystal Drummond — Google review
The heart of track and field beats in Eugene. The stadium has undergone a major renovation and while it's easy to miss the historic Hayward Field, the magic of this place is here to stay.
The fans in this stadium deeply understand the sport and their energy elevates every event from the longest distance race to the javelin. The athletes love it and consistently comment on the incredible crowds. It's the reason why so many legendary performances have happened here.
Sit in sections X12-X19 for great views of the first curve and the high jump. Sit in sections X01-X10 to cheer on the back straight, watch the field implements go sailing, or marvel at the pole vault. In sections 129-136 you'll have a front row seats to runners kicking in the last 200 meters. This also seems to be the spot where the most excited fans and athletes/coaches sit. Sections X20-X28 span the home straight so it's the best spot to sit for the triple jump, the long jump, the high hurdles, and the finish line. Beware that the sections on the northeast side from the over hang will be in the direct sun until late in the evening and aren't for the faint of heart on a hot day. Even still, in this one of a kind stadium is built just for athletics there isn't a bad seat in the house.

The University of Oregon is a public research school established in 1876, renowned for its impressive sports and education programs. The campus boasts attractive landscaping and immaculate buildings, including restrooms that are regularly sanitized to comply with COVID-19 regulations. Approximately 95% of the students appear to be modest and grounded based on first impressions. The area surrounding the university is secure and hygienic for deliveries during weekdays but bustling with life on weekends when classes are in session.
Beautiful landscaping around very clean buildings inside and out. Even the restrooms. Definitely covid-19 compliant. 95% of the kids I run across there are pretty down to earth and humble or at least seem to be by first impression. I do a lot of deliveries in that area and it's safe and clean but on the weekends during the semesters is not so much quiet but definitely alive. Helps this middle age guy I feel young.

I worked at the U of O today and was amazed at how big everything seemed, especially when there were hardly any people there. The Eugene Saturday market is a weekly event held in a park where over 200 local artisans showcase their unique wares. There are food vendors and live music to enjoy as well. The market opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM only on Saturdays, hence its name. Visitors can stroll around the market to see different artists' works, including handmade plates and necklaces.
The Eugene Saturday market just added a pavilion which is nice even when it rains. In spring time the market has a great section of plant starts from local farms. We picked up tomatoes and peppers.
If you like hot sauce check out Fox Farms they have mild to wild sauces with a wide variety of flavors and it’s made locally.

It is nice, they have lots of food and options to choose from and lots of things to buy like plates necklaces and much more. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because there is almost no water places, there is one but that a one has been there for years, so I don't drink out of it. The people set up at 9:00 AM and close at 6:00PM only on Saturdays thought. That's why its called Saturday Market.

Construction is happening! All the roads around the blocks here at Saturday Market are blocked off, have been, and it sucks! I think the roads are be repaved. 8th avenue was pretty bad, I guess. Also, the deck in front of the courthouse has been completely blocked from anyone attempting to get out of the heat and do their beloved Saturday Market socializing ritual. Also, horrible! 😞 I miss seeing my friends and enjoying the drum circle without getting pushed by sales tables or run over by shoppers!! 😭 Also, it seems that sales tables are allowed to use park benches for their wares and/or storage/personal use, literally NO WHERE TO SIT BUT DOG GRASS. Finally, NO DOGS ALLOWED! This is a recent development and in speaking to a local resident, very unpopular, confusing, and upsetting. I wondered if it was for safety due to the construction, but as far as the resident that I spoke to, this is a permanent decision that's made a significant group of people very frustrated. Expensive.

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a contemporary establishment built in 1982 that boasts two auditoriums, a gathering place and public works of art. Visitors appreciate the venue's delightful ambiance, excellent sound quality and welcoming staff. Despite this, some individuals express dissatisfaction with high costs associated with attending events at the center. Nonetheless, many feel fortunate to have such a remarkable performing arts destination in their small community that rivals even Broadway theaters.
Beautiful venue! Well streamlined parking garage. Not for those with fear of heights if in the upper seats! They are very vertical. Sound and experience within the space was fantastic. Good "snack" options, although a need to spread out due to massive line during intermission. Carpeting needs updating. Visual architecture, lighting and art displayed were lovely.

Ticket prices are affordable and seating is wonderful wherever you are. Sat in upper balcony for Les Mis and could see and hear everything perfectly. Great price on drinks too! As a kid, I have had a passion for theaters, art centers and opera houses. The chances of me ever coming here very slim, I live like five or six hours away. Now, however, I’m going to make an effort to come back and see a show or many shows here.
I love the location where it’s at Eugene city center is beautiful. Going inside it is a real special. Treat. The auditorium is beautiful. The acoustics are amazing. There’s such a rich history of legendary performers here. You can feel their history in the air it’s magical.
To top it all off the staff here is incredible! I could have stayed and listened to my main man Lee tell me stories and history about this place for hours.
If you have a chance ever to go here, I would highly recommend it even if it’s for a performance you’re not necessarily stoked about the vibes are at least worth checking out.

awesome atmosphere, great acoustics, friendly staff, first time our 3 year old went to a concert. One star off only because it was incredibly expensive. 70$ per ticket, 20$ parking, 13$ 'convenience' fee a person to conveniently print your own tickets at home for nose bleeds. maybe the most money I've spent for a 60 minute piece of entertainment for three people, especially a kids show.

I've seen many great performances here, but it's not a great place for those of us with mobility issues. Very steep stairs, long lines for elevator & bathrooms. Not much leg room. Leaving the main theatre, you have to be intent to grab the railing on the stairs as many people are moving beside you. Good acoustics, but frightening to navigate.

It's a little scary as the wall is very low!!! Take your time moving about! Everyone who worked there was exceptionally pleasant. They have mixed drinks, ciders, etc but no real food. Just cookies, candy, etc. We will be going back often as they offer many shows!!

Quaint beautiful theater!
We saw the Disney Princess concert, and it seemed every seat had a great view!

The Hult is the venue that everyone knows about but not everyone goes to, and this fact makes my head hurt just a little bit.
They offer music, and radio shows, and apparently that blue dog show for kids that's not Blue's Clues.
Do me (and you) a favor and go see several shows a year at the Hult. No, I don't know what the name means, and neither does anyone else, but just go look at the calendar and pick something.

Love this venue! I've seen many great concerts and off Broadway plays here. It's a great place to bring the family. They have snacks and alcohol for sale in the lobby.

Wonderful venue! I've enjoyed many great shows here, most recently Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood who were fantastic. The one issue that comes to mind is that some of the seats are uncomfortably narrow. But I still give it five stars, and I'll just need to be more selective when buying tickets in the future.

This was our first time visiting the Hult Center. The parking was convenient and staffed with very kind and helpful people. The center itself is very nice. It could use more bathrooms for those intermission bathroom rushes. We were seated in the lower balcony, and the view was actually very nice and clear. The seats are mostly comfortable but are pretty straight, so long shows would require a stretch. Would go again!

My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Eugene Ballet performance of the Nutcracker;it was a grand time. We're both looking forward to going back in April.
The Owen Rose Garden is a lovely park featuring stunning floral displays, picnic areas, biking and pedestrian paths, and a performance space. This serene garden also boasts the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, which dates back to the mid-1800s when it was planted by Eugene Skinner. Visitors can enjoy free access to this rose garden and take in the beautiful flowers throughout June as well as other times of year.
June was a great time of year to go there. Roses were still blooming.
There is a bathroom close by and the rose garden is free to the public.
Also it is home to the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, Owen Cherry Tree.
It is believed this tree was planted in the mid 1800’s by Eugene Skinner, founder of the City of Eugene in 1853. The tree is within the boundaries of Skinner’s 1846 land claim.

Owen Botanical Garden is a jewel nestled in Eugene. The Owen Heritage Cherry Tree is spectacular when it is in full bloom. The variety of Roses is phenomenal, and you will be impressed by the sheer beauty of this special spot. The aromatherapy benefits while you walk the paths are a bonus. Dogs on leashes are welcome and please clean up after them. Kid-friendly outdoor space. This is a beautiful spot to have lunch and there are eating areas right next to the free parking lot. Perfect place to take wedding or prom photos.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever come across. If you have the chance to go walk through this garden while in bloom TAKE IT! I was astonished at the variety and reverence for the flowers and grounds. Such a special place.

The roses are beautiful this time of year. And if we walk toward the left about 500' you may find the spot where I took the pictures of these busy ducks.

No roses yet but there are some really cool leaves on the rose bushes. Also, there are lots of flowering trees. Very pretty. Too bad the freeway is so close by. Takes away from the tranquility.

The Owen Rose garden was lovely what a treat. Uncle Jessie and Aunt Krissy took us in a walk through there today and it was very pleasant. A suggestion maybe some town people as volunteers should go in and weed as a group to help keep the weeds out and looking beautiful. Thanks for the Rose garden Eugene, Oregon loved it.

There were not many roses, but it was quiet and nice for walking. It was beautiful to see so many volunteers tending the roses.

There were so many different colors and varieties of roses it was unreal! Simply beautifully kept grounds, great accessible walkways, and even though we snagged the last parking spot available it did not feel crowded in the garden as walkways were wide and people kept their distance. I did notice some sketchily parked vans/vehicles, which I assume people were living in, sprinkled about the parking lot, which made the experience feel tarnished as the homeless population in this area can be a bit aggressive and dangerous. But overall it was an amazing place to visit and I would recommend! Just make sure to lock your vehicle and keep your kids close!

This was a beautiful stop, we where nicely surprised with how many people where visiting so early in the morning.
On the side of caution just make sure your car is locked as homeless sleeping under bench and another allowing dog to run around with no leash .

Amazing care and cleanliness of this park.
June is one of the best months to visit; almost all the garden is fully blooming and all the flowers are opened and vibrant.
Great for photography sessions.
There are benches located around the park, as well as restrooms.
No fee to enter or park.
Many picnic areas for group reunions, proposals, wedding pics, etc.
The neighborhood around is ok, some of the streets are not the best; but the park itself is beautiful, clean, great condition and safe.
We didn’t find any homeless people, but the area before getting there showed that there were some.

One of the best rose gardens I've ever been to. The roses are fragrant and beautiful and the layout is awesome. Nice casual walk through the gardens without a lot of people...great for pictures. And to top it off.... it's free! If you're looking for a place to go....this is a place to put on your list to check out!

Oh, Owen Rose Garden, you bloomed your way into my heart and made me feel like a botanical connoisseur! Now, let's dive into this bloomin' awesome review.
First off, let me just say that even though not all the roses were in season, it didn't dampen my spirits one bit. This garden was a sight to behold! It was like stepping into a fragrant wonderland where colors and scents danced together in perfect harmony. I found myself surrounded by nature's artwork, and oh boy, it was a feast for the eyes and nose!
Now, here's where the comedic plot twist comes in. Picture this: I'm strolling through this serene garden, feeling all zen and at peace with the world when suddenly, out of nowhere, a heated bike argument breaks out! Yep, you heard it right. Apparently, those folks on their two-wheeled contraptions couldn't agree on whose turn it was to ring the bell. Talk about a thorny situation in a rose garden!
But fear not, dear readers, for even amidst the bike-fueled drama, Owens Rose Garden remained a tranquil haven. The beauty of the flowers and the gentle rustling of leaves managed to calm my soul, despite the occasional bike-induced chaos. It was like Mother Nature herself was reminding me to stop and smell the roses, while also giving me a good laugh.
So, if you're in need of some floral therapy and a sprinkle of unexpected amusement, Owens Rose Garden is the place to be. Just remember to keep an eye out for those drama-seeking bicyclists. Five stars? Absolutely! Owens Rose Garden, you've shown me that even in the midst of floral tranquility, life can throw in a dash of comedy. Keep blooming and keep the bike battles entertaining!
