If you are needing a small homey type of casino for a outing, then this is the place. Usually upon arrival someone is available to open the front door for entrance, to welcome your visit. Staff is very attentive helping you to be comfortable during your visit. The restaurant is clean and the food is very tasty. The payouts on the slots seem to be better than the larger casinos. A comfortable and relaxing place to gamble.

We walked in with 7 people the lady at the front counter acted like it was a problem to Accommodate us ..our waiter came over asking for drinks I asked about a item on the menu the Hong Kong lover's shrimp,I asked him what all was in it he said I guess it had shrimp in it he acted like it was such a big deal to find out what it was so he goes to the back and 2 chef's come out just for me asking about a dinner item.so I ordered it it came out it was fried shrimp on a bed of lettuce with pasta noodles...the shrimp was good

Not much of a gambler, but I do like to eat. I got the shrimp po boy and it was excellent and appropriately priced. I'll be back!

Kickapoo casino is off the beaten path and equally as far apart from I-40 as it is from I-44. Small but the machines are comparable to the big casino machines. There was awesome fun coming from the tables offered by this casino. With the free $20 play new members receive it makes this casino worth the visit.
Keith Long — Google review
Just like most casinos you lose a lot more than you win. It's a really clean place friendly staff. The machines are pretty tight tho. Most machines work and they are slowly upgrading the older machines.
Kris Staggs — Google review
Haven't been there since 2006 and the casino has really grown. Nice friendly staff and one of the upper management personnel showed me around the casino. If you like mixed drinks and have fun gambling this is the place. I had fun.
Cheryl Diaz — Google review
It's a decent casino I'll change my rating when I visit again! Only reason I gave 3 is because I tried to go there about a week ago and the website said open and drove all the way there and it was closed for renovations mmm I was mad but owell it is what it is and I bet they won't reimburse me when I do come back!!!
I really like the place but I gotta be able to get in the door to play!
Plus "it's NOT 24 Hr access"
Keith Rodgers — Google review
Laid back, with a live band That takes request, security guards that do their jobs but are kind and approachable. Staff that will go out of their way to explain things to you until you understand. They even give you free play, which is good because I'm not much of a gambler, I just watch Candice play mostly and seeing her have fun, well what can beat that....
Graylon AbuKhadir Mayberry — Google review
I had fun as usual but bonus round of 36 free games did not pay out well at all. Only paid like $24 when I retriggered bonus twice.
Sharon Higgins — Google review
Had been a while since I visited harrah so I decided to try my luck on the way out of town the other night. I could of used gas but the gas station was was closed by 1am and the casino to follow at 2am. It was a weekday. Disappointing and would have liked to see it 24hrs considering it's location...bfe. didn't have much luck but like all casinos its become quite typical. The place was clean and smelled nice. They had newer games with a mix of the older ones. 4 stars for sure if both the quick stop and casino were open 24hrs.

This place is the worst casino in this area I have ever been to. Kickapoo gives no free play and if you do get it enjoy that 7 bucks. I have never won anything at either of Kickapoo casinos. Not enough games for the amount of people, parking lot is too small, I have never been greeted by any of the employees there. I gave it one more try and I won’t ever go again

Great tasty breakfast at a very good price. Large portions. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Clean bathrooms. Huge selection of machines to play.

Slot play with good returns, have won several jackpots here. Even 3 in one night with a t-shirt thrown in every time. Got a good bar and diner inside with livemusiv weekends and hot seats almost every day of the week.
James Reynolds — Google review
This casino is an abomination. Extremely low payouts. Would not recommend at all. Better casinos in Oklahoma than this, including The Grand, which I also do not recommend. There is a casino I enjoy in Shawnee that I have frequented and usually have had a great time! I will continue to be a patron there. I tip well, and enjoy the people, because I actually usually leave very happy!
I scan payout rates and payout amounts (frequency of larger hits that extend playtime only, like triple bars), and frequency of jackpots and amounts, then only go where I have faith I have a fair chance of winning. I permanently skip “bad casinos.” I realize one could always lose (but the rate one bleeds out on slots on a bad day gives me an idea at how greedy a casino can get, or how much it can “afford” to lose, which is equivalent to odds of having a “bad day” and leaving unhappy). Also: minimum “win” at a casino is +2,000-3,000 dollars after at least a couple hours of playtime. Certain casinos cater to different play styles and demands (“consumer variance”).
Kickapoo is not a match for me. (Even though I technically quit while ahead of the casino by a few thousand dollars, which it would have eventually recuperated at an escalating rate).
I won’t ever be back to Kickapoo. I did a permanent self-ban.
You have been warned. Play at your own risk 😃

The Arcadia Round Barn, a striking red structure built in 1898, is a must-see historic landmark located along Route 66. Its unique round design makes it an ideal spot for memorable photos. Beyond its distinctive architecture, the barn houses a museum featuring exhibits and historical information about Arcadia and its significance to the development of Route 66 and Oklahoma.
This is really a cute little stop. It's got history, gifts, and, upstairs, the crown jewel, a basket-woven ceiling in an events room. I'm sure this has been the place to begin many a happy marriage!
Rosie Shields — Google review
Such a cute historic spot to stop on Route 66! This round barn has lots of history behind it, that you can read about in the museum/gift shop downstairs. And the upstairs is a must see. The ceiling looks as if it’s a woven basket, so neat! Lots of space upstairs to have an event such as a dance or wedding. The pictures would be beautiful! Definitely recommend stopping by for a photo opp and to learn a little bit!
Taylor Horn — Google review
We arrived within twenty minutes of closing. With that being said the woman working still gave all three of our kids their scavenger hunt paper, which helps to be more interactive within the building, and encourages reading about the different art pieces to help fill in the paper. We would definitely visit again to have more time to read around. The upstairs is breath taking. It's an awesome piece of history I hope continues to stay around. We were not rushed to be out, and we still got to see everything in a timely manner.
Lindsey Green — Google review
Very nice historical red barn. Right off the highway. Parking on the side of the road, and a parking lot in the back. Unfortunately we came early, and the barn wasn't open itself, but we were able to walk around and get some pictures.

If you ever wanted to see a round barn, then here she be! Inside tells the history of the barn. There are two levels to explore. The inside also has things you can buy. Parking is across the street. Basically you just pull over off the highway. Make sure and look both ways before crossing. Speeding cars might get you! Also check the hours before going in case they are closed.
Mandy G — Google review
Volunteers here are amazing!! They gave me maps and a lot of detail on what was nearby and accessible to visit on their portion of Route 66. Fun place to visit too, displays to look at, history, souvenirs if you need them. Best part was the local knowledge and the amazing folks to answer your questions.

Neat barn. The architecture of the roof when you're on the 2nd floor is incredible to see. They hold dances up there and you can rent the space for parties and weddings and such. I'm sure makes for a gorgeous venue. The first floor they have a thrift store as well as some history about the barn.

This is so interesting. They were playing live music when I entered gift shop & it wasn't crowded. The inside is so beautiful. Love RT. 66 stuff.

Always fun to see the different stops along route 66. Loved that we found the Oklahoma passport books here, as a cute keepsake. Lots of history to look through and very easy on the budget.
Lyza Lopez — Google review
We went today and took a look. I enjoyed looking at all of the old items on display. Two thumbs up. You can rent the top of the round barn for a wedding reception or some type of large gathering. It's restored very well. They had ample parking. It's worth giving it a look. It's a pleasant way to look at a by gone era. My wife got her Oklahoma passport stamped, made her day.

Historical place, you must visit if you are around Oklahoma City or near by , this is one of attraction in entire route66 apart from pops 66 which is close by. Don’t forget to get a route66 passport and get it stamped and explore entire route from Chicago to Los Angeles… highly recommend…

We stopped here while we were parked at Pops a half mile down the road. the volunteer was very informative. it was very interesting to spend time walking around this place looking at yesteryear There’s plenty of room to park handicap, accessible and best of all it’s free. I would recommend this place to everybody get your kicks on route 66.

We visited the Arcadia Round Barn on a weekday in May, 2023. other than one person in the gift shop, there was no one there. The store person didn't say anything to us, so we just went about our business. We viewed the barn, but didn't know a lot about it.
It is nicely built, with really nice acoustics. But we didn't stay long. The museum runs on a donation system. So maybe donate to the cause if you can. They have rest rooms in a separate building and a nice little area outside the barn.
It's a nice place to visit.

EXPERIENCE THE Arcadia Round Barn, it’s a must see on your RT 66 Trip!
The Round Barn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is more than a century old.
It is the only round barn on Route 66.
Built in 1898
The Arcadia Round Barn is located in Arcadia, OK. Six miles east of Interstate 35 on Route 66. Admission is FREE.
Exhibits and a gift shop are located inside. Outdoor displays consist of primitive farm implements.
The beautiful upstairs loft can be reserved for special events.
Has alot of all farm equipment on the grounds as well as memorabilia from days gone bye inside barn. Free admission but they do ask for donations of two dollars per adult. Great acoustics inside the loft. They rent the loft for parties, weddings, family reunion.
Eric Treadwell -GEOTREAD- — Google review
There’s a lot to do, really see, in Arcadia. Visit the Round Barn to see all the things inside & out. There’s a map of the town with historical buildings still in existence. Further west is Pop’s where you can buy all kinds of different colored sodas, different candy, shop the gift shop, and even dine in their cafe. Food is great. Heading east out past the Round Barn is an old gas station, and old western style town, and a historical marker of the eastern line of the Oklahoma Land Run of 1889!
Armstrong Auditorium, situated on the Herbert W. Armstrong College campus, is a top-notch performing arts center that showcases world-class dance, music, and theater productions. The venue's lobby is adorned with exquisite Austrian crystal chandeliers and French candelabras, creating an elegant ambiance. Renowned for its exceptional acoustics, the auditorium offers an unparalleled experience during orchestra concerts and live music performances.
Beautiful facility! Phenomenal acoustics! There really is no bad seat in the house and the people who are working the various events are so helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous.

A hidden gem in Central Oklahoma. Saw Celtic Throne as they began their 2023 tour. A premier venue for musical concerts. The venue is beautiful with comfortable seats and amazing acoustics. Staff is super friendly and willing to assist. A definite must for musical performances .

Wonderful venue. Beautiful architecture, and great sound. Attended the Glenn Miller Orchestra presentation, and it rocked. Attended two (2) other shows (Ray Chen and Irish dancers). Perfect productions. Have updated, and increased my season tickets. You can't go wrong with Armstrong Auditorium.

Loved it. Had an exhibit bringing rare Bible artifacts to be seen by Oklahoman's...Skip the religious reference if you do not believe! The artifacts are still rare examples of very old ancient civilizations.
There was no cost or any asking or place where you could put a donation. I did ask ...and gave a small amount and may mail in more money donation. This is rare for an exhibition or museum not to have a place for donations where such significant things are being displayed.
This exhibit dealt Seals Isaiah and Hezekiah. It goes til Aug. 19, 2018

A very wonderful place to be. I 100% recommend coming here for a concert or an event. It is very beautiful and the staff very hard working and happy. This is one of the nicest places I've ever been.

Absolutely the best show I have ever seen. The lighting was incredible along with the talent on the stage. The venue was marvelous as soon as you walked through the doors. The audience was very involved, clapping to the songs! The audience even stood up to clap after a couple performances. I would go see it again tomorrow if there was another show :)

I thoroughly enjoyed The Celtic Throne. The dancers and musicians were outstanding and the music and light show were exception. The grounds of the auditorium are gorgeous and well kept. The art inside is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I intend to attend more events in the future. It was throughly enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this venue!

As a teen I watched all of the old musical movies with Big Band music. The Glen Miller Band with "In The Mood" has always been my favorite. Last night at the Armstrong Auditorium with the Glen Miller Band was wonderful. The only thing missing was the dance floor. Thank you for the opportunity to cross off on my bucket list, my live big band experience. I loved it! 5 stars!

A stunning building with a great auditorium. The seats were comfortable and had ample leg room. Everything was well organized and flowed well. Seemed a little pricy.

Incredible!! Such sharp, dramatic choreography. Such showmanship--every single person right down to the little peeps! We could tell they were having fun. I really loved how Jude explained about the family connections. Wow! The patriotic songs were also very stirring, and many in the audience gave them a standing ovation. It was so professional and somehow it just keeps getting better! How is that possible?! I'll be back next week!

My wife and I saw the Glenn Miller Orchestra Thursday, April 4th at Armstrong. It was our first time with this orchestra and at this venue. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend both. The auditorium is beautiful throughout and the three giant chandeliers are beyond words. The orchestra was nothing short of outstanding and the musical selections were excellent. The only issue was that it was difficult to hear vocals due to the volume of the instruments. This was not a major issue and would not stop me from coming back. Overall it was still a great 5-star experience.

We are never disappointed with our experiences at Armstrong Auditorium! Thoroughly enjoyed the Glenn Miller Orchestra last night, as we knew we would! Everything about it was fantastic! Your venue is absolutely gorgeous and we love having a reason to dress up for a night on the town! Keep up the good work!

Our first time to visit this auditorium, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful facility and the acoustics were great for performances. We saw the Celtic Throne, and the talent of these young adults and kids was amazing. Plenty of informed staff to help with doors, directions, history and parking. Small parking lots but the staff moved traffic in and out safely and quickly.

We saw VOCE8 from Great Britain. The facility is simply amazing. The opulence is stunning, you feel like you have just walked into a palace. The acoustics in the auditorium can't be beat. Thank you for a completely enjoyable evening.
Randy Wicklund — Google review
Had a wonderful evening at the Armstrong with my husband last night. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The venue is in a class by itself, and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. The only thing that I thought was a bit off was that the stage floor was extra dusty. But on a final note (pun intended) getting to hear the Hamburg Steinway again was such a treat. Such a joy to see a 26-year-old play it so brilliantly.
Clauren Ridge Vineyard and Winery offers an unparalleled wine tasting experience in Oklahoma. The winery stands out for its care and passion put into each tasting, with a beautifully decorated veranda and patio overlooking the hill country. It's ranked fourth among Edmond's best places to visit, making it a must-see spot when visiting the city. Located just outside of Oklahoma City, it's easily accessible from central Oklahoma.
Always a wonderful place to come to. Owners take their place to a new level with their staff and wine choices. Elegant place for a date after lunch or dinner. Wonderful venue for a wedding.

Clauren Ridge is our favorite winery in Oklahoma! The wine is delicious, we love the relaxing vibe, the food is great, and we love the wine cellar! I also got married here and the staff at Clauren Ridge took care of everything! All of our guests loved the winery and continually talked about how romantic and unique our wedding was. Kim, the owner, is the absolute best! She is very organized, accommodating, and her passion for weddings shows with everything she does. We could not have imagined a more magical wedding ♥️

My husband and I just had our wedding here. This was the smoothest experience I could have ever dreamed of for a wedding. Kim and her team are incredible. She checked up with me multiple times during the night. She reached out to all of our vendors the week before to make sure everything was going to be perfect! The venue is clean, the wine is fantastic, and the landscaping is gorgeous for pictures. 10/10 place!!

I cannot recommend this venue enough...Kim and her staff went above and beyond to make this a very stress-free, easy experience! As others have mentioned, so much is included in the wedding package here, which I loved, as I didn't have to plan/coordinate every single detail. They are true professionals here, and while they do many weddings, we felt treated so special--that's how amazing they are! I received many compliments from my guests about how beautiful and clean the venue was and how awesome the staff was. I truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day--thank you, Kim and Clauren Ridge, for helping make it a reality!

My daughters wedding was held here on 3/25/23. I cannot recommend them enough! Kim, Lauren and staff worked their tails off to help us make the day very special and relatively stress free. Kim takes care of so many things that we could enjoy our only child’s day without worry!
Jodi Woydziak — Google review
Clauren Ridge was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. The flexibility to move the ceremony indoors to escape the 104 degree heat was a lifesaver. Morgan, Lauren and the entire staff were very accommodating at every turn with Lauren even helping to salvage a cake that didn't agree with the heat. The venue was large enough to not feel crowded, yet maintained an intimate atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough! First rate and completely stress-free!
Mark C — Google review
Absolutely the best venue you can choose in Oklahoma! The price is unbeatable when compared to other venues, especially since it’s all inclusive and there’s very little you have to stress about! Kim and Morgan are the coordinators I worked with and they were both very professional and accommodating to anything we needed! The rest of the staff was amazing as well, they were very attentive and extremely organized! 10/10 recommend, the best day of our lives thanks to this venue and their staff!

Clauren Ridge was the best place I could have chosen for my wedding. It was truly perfect! Kim and her staff are just the best and they help with everything. I had a very small, intimate wedding with only about 20 guests. I had wanted to have it outside but due to forecasted weather I decided that morning to have it indoors. It turned out just as beautiful though. I didn't really have to think of anything as Kim and her staff handled so much and even thought of things I wouldn't have. I loved not having to worry about setup or cleanup or what tablecloths I should have. This is the best place for those who don't want to think about all the wedding details. The setting was beautiful, the staff was so friendly (Lauren was especially awesome!), the drinks were great and everyone had a great time. Everything went so smoothly and my husband and I had a blast. If you want an easy wedding that you can truly just enjoy I highly recommend you choose Clauren Ridge as your venue and Serendipity Nuptials for your officiant (and DJ if you can afford to) and The Photo Poet as your photographer. They all worked wonderfully together and I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you Kim and staff for creating such a wonderful night! I look forward to celebrating anniversaries there in the future :)

When we were there they were getting ready for a smaller wedding after they closed. There is a small pond that is wctually stocked with fish, and the appetizers were very good. The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is devoted to the history and culture of the American West. It features a large collection of art and artifacts, including works by well-known Western artists. The museum is located on a prominent hill in Oklahoma City, providing stunning views of the American West.
I really liked it. It's huge. We walked around and looked at the exhibits and the pictures on the wall. There are several displays. They are very well done. I highly recommend going. We stayed several hours in the museum.

We stopped here because I remember seeing "End of the Trail" about 48 years ago as a kid. This powerful statue left me in awe & I wanted my wife & grandchild to see it as well.
We went in at opening time of 10am. I was struck by the size & scope of the museum's displays. WOW!! There is truly something for everyone on display.
The staff was out of this world. Full of knowledge & happy to be of help. If you tour with one of their guides you will not be disappointed.
I plan on visiting again the next time we get to Oklahoma City.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had "an hour to kill," ended up spending 2.5 hours at the museum, and needed at least another few hours to see everything.

This was my first time visiting this museum. I was VERY impressed. There was a myriad of paintings, artifacts, displays of western gear, weapons, ropes, barbed wire and MANY bronze statues, including Remington's. I took over 400 photographs that I plan to make a slideshow with for my YouTube page. At 1:00 P.M. I went on a guided tour with a very knowledgeable docent that was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this museum.

My visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum was a truly memorable experience. One of the highlights for me was exploring the outdoor Native American living quarters. It was fascinating to see how Native Americans lived and worked, and the attention to detail in the recreation of the living quarters was impressive.
In addition to the outdoor exhibits, the museum itself is full of fascinating artifacts and exhibits that showcase the history and culture of the American West. From cowboy gear to Native American art, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
The museum also offers a range of educational programs and events, making it a great destination for families and anyone interested in learning more about the history of the American West.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. It's a great way to experience the rich history and culture of the American West in a fun and engaging way.

Wow! The outdoor reenactment is very well done. The cowboy gallery and rodeo exhibit were so fascinating. Love the different multimedia making learning and browsing so entertaining.
Lots of interesting American Indian history that occupied all over US, not just local tribes.
We rushed through in 2 hours but could easily spend another 2.

Absolutely amazing. There is such an astounding collection of art and historical artifacts, it will take the better part of a day to work your way through everything. I like how the exhibits are broken down into sections which make easier to take it all in. I especially enjoyed "the town". An entire indoor town is genius. I also enjoyed the movie memorabilia section. Very well done! This is probably one of the best museums I have ever been too. If you love cowboy culture and the old west, this place is a must!

We had such a fun time at this museum!! Free parking, no wait time, and only $15 admission; I definitely recommend setting aside an entire morning or afternoon if you want to get the whole experience. I think we spend about 3 hours walking around the art galleries. So much beautiful artwork and history to see and learn about- I loved how there were also exhibits outside (see pictures of the waterfall below.) The gift shop has a huge variety of souvenirs to choose from too!

Sooooo many amazing displays and rooms and info and knowledgeable docents! This museum is one of the best I’ve been too. It’s not just “dry” info. They have found a way to display and tell and show that brings this place to life. Spent 2 1/2 hours here and barely scratched the surface and only left because of another appointment! What a great place to experience cowboy and western heritage. The completeness and thoroughness of this museum is astounding. I only spend a couple of hours and rushed through the various areas of the museum. Everything I saw was done exceptionally well. If you are in the area, this is a must see place. Don’t expect to see the whole place in one visit, there are just too many areas with so many details that it would too ambitious to see it all. I have a much better understanding and respect for cowboy life after my visit.

I highly recommend this. Great for the family. Kids loved it. If you’ve ever traveled abroad to learn culture and see ancient ruins, you’ll love learning about the culture right here.
We were impressed with the Prix de West art collection. And we’re not art connoisseurs. The kids loved Prosperity Junction which immersed us in another era. Definitely try the sarsaparilla at the saloon and learn about the cowboy job. Outside, tour the different types of indigenous Indian homes.
You’ll spend about 2-3 hrs here and take about 20 pictures.

The garden was closed today due to weather but they were so nice and offered me one complimentary ticket to come back later this week to see the gardens! 🥺 definitely recommend this museum to everyone visiting OKC!!

So amazing! Literally soooo amazing! One of the best museums I’ve been to. So much to see. I want to go back so I can see the rest. Just too much for one trip, but loved it all and can’t wait to return. Great gift shop too.

Absolutely love this museum! If you are on I40 or I35 near Oklahoma City it is very much worth your while to stop and visit. Parking is easy (and free!). You could easily spend several hours or just stop in to view the art in the main area. Highly recommend!

This site is great for family fun, a date night, school trip, or just a leisurely stroll. The Cowboy is easily our family's favorite outing this year. We've made a goal to go monthly. We see a new room we didn't know was there every time we go!

Very nice exhibits and interesting artifacts. I enjoyed the outside exhibits as well. We spent about 2 hours here and it kept my 14 year old’s attention. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable as well. They also have scavenger hunts and other activities for smaller children. Lots of good photo opportunities and appreciated the air conditioning inside since it was very hot outside. Nice gift shop on the way out too. Parking was simple and free.

We all had a great time here, our party included parents and a 16 yr old as well as a 4 year old. This museum is massive and you could spend hours inside and then even more outside. The collections of art, memorabilia, antiques, replicas, etc are just enthralling to go through. There is no shortage of items to look and learn about in this massive museum. The old west replica town is so immersive, you feel like you are in a western. It is so well put together and several buildings you can actually go in and take really cute photos. I agree that the native American side of western history is severely lacking here - but the title does have COWBOY most prominent and that is what you will find here. Tons of cowboy history. From the wild west to the movies to the rodeo and beyond. I really wasn't expecting the massive structures outside of the museum but it is truly a sight to see. I recommend allotting plenty of outside time, especially if you are there with younger children. There is a playground, interactive areas and lots of immersive play opportunities. The people that complain about this museum must just hate life. My only complaint I have from our visit was that my four year old wanted to rush us through everything and I felt jipped on my experience there! I guess I will just have to go back!!

The Cowboy Museum, as it's locally known, has made some big changes over the last couple years, and they are all for the better. The best part right now is an expanded outdoor space that honors many Native American tribes in the Oklahoma area and their stories. Liichokoshkomo' showcases a Chickasaw Council House, Hopi Pueblo homes and much more! Kids can also choose an animal guide to find drawing prompts, codes words, the sounds of the Old West and how many cowboy hats are in certain exhibits. If you haven't been to the Cowboy Museum in awhile, you definitely need to check it out! There's so many new things to see!

Excellent! So much to see here so plan to be here for a few hours. The right side has a bit more things to see and read than the left I think personally. Don't forget to go outside! I will be back because I know I missed some things and what an awesome National Cowboy Museum.
The bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and ready to give important facts about wherever you were in the museum.
Plenty of parking. They have a small cafe. Didn't eat food so cannot give an opinion. Ticket prices were good, they did offer us a disabled vet discount so that was nice.
Go check this museum out!

Truly incredible museum with an incredible amount of history, exhibits, statuary, examples of weaponry, clothing, household and old west town every day life, Indian life, military, rodeos, art, etc... This has to be one of our top museums we've seen in America!

Lots of great western artifacts.. some exterior western exhibits geared toward kids.. and the short film about the history of Hollywood western films is highly recommended..!

Enjoyed our family visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage museum. There is something for everyone here. I was impressed with the Art and sculpture. Others in my party enjoyed the movie and rodeo memorabilia. We spent 4 entertaining hours.
I was impressed by helpful volunteer docents who gave us an excellent overview at the start and helped us learn more in the exhibits.

This was a great museum! It covered a lot of history. There were multiple videos to watch. It has a lot of artwork and sculptures to look at. It's bigger than it looks. It took us a couple hours but could have taken longer if we would have stopped to read everything.
The Oklahoma City Zoo is a zoo located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It features 1,900 animals from across the world and offers a variety of attractions such as shows and trails.
One of my favorite zoo's to visit. Lots of variety of animals. Lots of trees for shade. Plenty of benches for sitting when gets tired. The tram is handy for getting around and inexpensive. Handicapped accessible. Great activities for adults and kids.

We went on the first nice Saturday of the spring and it was super crowded. The overflow parking was across the street at the racetrack. Other than the long walk to and from the car, once inside, it wasn't bad. With all of the new expansions, the exhibits were all comfortable to get around. It was the first time I had been to the zoo in close to 10 years. It is certainly not the same as when I was a kid. The new elephant area is huge and all the animals have so much room to roam around. No more little cages for any of the animals. The Asia experience is beautiful and I can't wait to go back when the Africa section is also complete. That being said, with all of the updates the cost has also increased quite a bit. I believe that you can still bring a picnic lunch inside as well as your own snacks. We ate at the Cafe by the sting rays and for 3 kid drinks, fries, a hamburger, and chicken strips it was almost $50! 🤯 Wear comfortable shoes, because you will be walking a lot!

We went on a Saturday afternoon in April and the zoo was incredibly packed. People will not hesitate to cut you off while walking. Due to the heat, many of the animals were sleeping or hiding. Notably the bears. We weren’t able to see any of the bears on this day. The monkeys and gorillas were definitely the most active animals on this day. The tram ride is $6 per person and I would recommend that on hot days. The cool part about the tram is that they provide you with unique animal facts and the zoo’s history as you are riding and seeing the animal exhibits. The bird feeding is $4 per person and I thought that it was ridiculous that I had to pay $4 just to walk in and watch my family members feed birds that didn’t want to eat. Bring your own drinks because we waited in line for 30 minutes to spend $25 on drinks that would have been $8 or less at any overpriced gas station across the state. Despite the sometimes disappointing price points and waits, the employees were incredibly friendly across the zoo. I would recommend going on a cooler day and during the week if you can.

2023 Safari Lights drive and walk through reservation. $70 for a car with up to 4 walk passes. It's about an hour and a half to see it all, but give yourself 2 hours. The drive was nice with more animals and peaceful, quiet, or Christmas music and heat. It only costs $7 more for 4 people to do the drive and walk than just the walk through, so that is the way to go, but you must order online in advance to reserve your time slot. I'm not sure it is something we will do every year, but it was very nice. The walk was nice with some interaction activities and places for photo opportunities. There were concessions around where you could warm up, and I saw some people cooking marshmallows. At the entrance, there is a light show all around that lasts for about 6 songs (+- 9 min) or so and then gives a 3 minute countdown before restarting. Wish there were longer paths to walk as we saw it all relatively quickly.

Most of the zoo is under construction currently. It would be nice if tickets were discounted since a good portion (pushing half or more) is under construction. But it's still a lot of fun! Some things were still left from the dino exhibit. The zoo is huge, give it at least 3 hours. Lots to see. Bring quarters (feeding ducks, turtles, fish), $1 and pennies (smashing), $5s (wax molds!) and then however you're going to pay for food.
There should be exhibit signs for the construction. For the workers, the machines, what's going on. Kids like construction, too, and adults are curious. I would love to see signs about who is working, what they like, how the machines work and facts about them. How the company hired is contributing to making a better planet. They're missing a perfect chance to teach.

It was a great school trip. The zoo is doing remodeling so there was a lot of construction that was going on. The animals that were there were awesome to see. The kids and everyone there had a great time, and can't wait to see what new exhibits will come. The zoo was also setting up the lights for Halloween, which was really cool to see as well.

With a whole new exhibit being constructed and the aquatic area slated for a full makeover there is a lot of work being done around the zoo. It made it feel very run down. Most exhibits were closed or empty. Some were just full of debris. Then, the exhibits that were open were overly crowded with unattended field trippers. The kids were so disappointed with the animal situation that they spent most of their time playing on the jungle gyms. For a Zoo actively pushing to be voted “Best Zoo in the Nation” it has a long way to go.
That being said, the updates being made are very nice. When it’s all done I’m sure it’ll be fantastic. Until then though it just seems like a waste. We basically spent $100 for our kids to go to the playground.

Zoo experience was great. Every animals, and birds have enough space for themselves. They were properly labeled with their features or characteristics which is enough to distinguish them.
There are separate sections for snakes, water creatures, asian animals, cats (lion) and many more. Special section is bear, they are real entertainers.
New wing is currently under construction which will involve new animals or scenery to the zoo beauty. It has train service ($9-10/ person), if anyone wants to use. Food and water outlets inside as well.
Kids live to spend time with their families.
It will take minimum 5 hours to maximum 7 hours to see and enjoy whole zoo.

The zoo has made many changes since I was last there, 13 years ago. I decided to take my 19 year old son with me. We had a blast! Unfortunately we did not get to see all the animals because it was hot and they go inside, but that is expected. Either way, it was worth it! We took many photos and videos. Even stopped to ride the carousel. Just remember to be courteous to the animals and don't let little ones bang on their glass, it stresses them out more. Don't forgot to stop in the little shop they have by the night exhibit, it's quant and has many goodies inside (I'd recommend going that direction last, or else you'll be carrying everything throughout the day.)

Daughters first time there, and she loved it. Haven't been in years and a lot has changed and been added. Staff was friendly and the zoo was surprisingly clean with as many people that were there. You have to get there early for a good parking spot though, otherwise you are parking across the street at the casino or if you're lucky, next door at the science museum. Military discount is great!

A great zoo with many fun events and animals from all across the world. Seems to be a very popular spot for field trips. Some sections seem to be perpetually under construction, but that means it's constantly changing. The zoo friends perks are great for frequent visitors and discounts.

A great place to visit. We were there for about 4 hours and still could only see part of the zoo.
My wife got to feed the giraffes and loved that.
I loved getting a mold from the Mold-a-matic. They had these at different places I visited when I was a child. It was like walking back into time and IT WAS FABULOUS!!!
A perfect experience for the whole family!!
Also, they had a lot of potential discount groups so make sure and find out if you can get a discount.

I'd recommend to take the mini train for a ride in the first place and save some energy for the animals you and your family love. The park is worth for at least two days visit. But the legwork was a bit exhausting. Bring your own food. The park's food is not bad but might be a little pricey than average.

Place is under construction in a lot of spots, but it says that on the website so you should know ahead of time. Love the giant pride flags they have out during pride month, makes me feel very validated! The animals are very interesting and well taken care of. My kiddos and I came during the week the OKC Zoo was having free admission. It wasn't very crowded at all since a lot of schools started this week. What I was really impressed with was the amount of restroom stops they provided as well as cooling stations. I was so glad to see a lot of staff around as well, and they were all so nice. It was a pretty awesome visit despite how hot it was!

We had a blast! We really enjoyed how the animals were active for the most part, and how each area was so accurate to the regions that each animal was from. I wish we knew that the feeding zoo cost to enter so we could've been better prepared... Other than that we had a great time and all of the zoo employees were very friendly helpful and professional! Will be going back after the African exhibit is done!

The OKC Zoo is simply the best place to hang out any day of the week. So much to see and do! If you can, buying a pass is the way to go. I’ve been taking my children there for 20 years and absolutely love it! The zoo keeps improving and I hope to see it completed one of these days.

The zoo is now better than ever with the Expedition Africa open. They did however change companies for the dining areas so the Flavor Burst ice cream (the one everyone remembers from school) is no longer carried. However I will not dock points because I do not know the reason for the swap. The giraffe enclosure is so awesome now, you can see them from 95% of it due to how open the walk way is. I recommend the OKC Zoo and have been ~4 times in the past year it is always growing and getting better.

The bathrooms were very clean, The lady at the Ticket both was really Kind, & The gentleman working The food booth By The Cats were respectful/Kind Also, They seemed like they enjoyed were they was working. The girls in the Starbucks seemed like they don’t like anyone & Just wanted to get paid to be there. But I will definitely say I would like to visit again 💯 Just cause It was a Beautiful, & Soothing place to Enjoy.

Went during a school field trip this time at around 10 am. There is still a lot for the kids to see by just walking around. Love this place. Different attractions at different times, so make sure you know what you want to go for and plan around that. If you're just going to walk around then around 10 am to 3 pm is the perfect temp and time to go.

We’ve been to the suit twice and last time unfortunately I had food poisoning from the hotel and wasn’t able to see much. This time we finally got around to seeing about 80% of the zoo and it was really awesome! Would’ve seen the other 20% Our feet wouldn’t let us. Got to feed some birds and pet a stingray. There are so many things to keep you busy I highly recommend going to the zoo! Also the fried okra was out of this world here and the chicken and fries with the gravy is enough to fill up both me and my husband and have a lot of leftovers that went to waste. I would recommend getting the two piece chicken strip and sharing it with your partner!
The Science Museum Oklahoma is a fascinating place where you can explore hands-on exhibits and learn about science and technology. It also has a planetarium and cafe.
I took a group 8-17 & we all had a blast. It’s perfect to escape the weather & well worth the price. The line to get lunch got ridiculously long. Had we waited, it would have been at least 45 minutes just to order. There are a ton of hands on things to do, you can easily spend the entire day there. I will say, the lady at the planetarium seemed a little, um, not nice at first. Once the show began it was different. She’s really good at her job. I think it may have been a field trip day though. Definitely go check this place out. You will be happy you did

Great place for kids and big kids alike. Very interactive and fun. Only reason for 4 stars is that some of the interactive stations and exhibits were closed, under renovation, or just not functioning the way they were intended. And at a cost of 70$ for admission for a family of 4 ( 2 adults, and 2 kids) its a bit of a let down.

This is our first time visiting this museum, and since we live 30 minutes away, we were wondering if it's worth the drive. There are lots of sections for kids and plenty of activities to do. It was very unique. Fun. The only thing I think it needed was tracks and hook for our portable hoyer lift (so heavy persons with wheelchairs and no lower body) use can use the bathroom. We love that there is a plus size durable changing table in the restrooms. We would have liked to stay longer and saw all the cool exhibits. So much cool stuff.

This was our first time visiting the Science Museum in OKC and it was AWESOME!!!! We visited it for my sons 3rd Grade Field Trip and we drove there from Sapulpa which is about 1 hour (especially on a 🚌) It wasn’t overly crowded and the amount of stuff to do is really impressive. We arrived at 9:30am and had to meet the rest of the Field Trip at Noon to have lunch and just regroup and that 2 1/2 hours flew by!!! We were so entertained and so busy I couldn’t believe it was already time for lunch! And the 2 hours after lunch felt like 10 minutes!!! I have already planned a trip back with all of my family nieces, parents, everyone. We will definitely be visiting this Museum regularly from now on!!!!!

I first visited here 7 years ago when my daughter was 10 and we spent alllllll day and still felt like we didn't see it all. My most recent visit in March 2024 it was the same! It is such a visual feast and there are limitless hands on activities for kids of all ages (even the 40+ variety) to enjoy. Our four year old was just over the moon excited the entire time we were there. The curiocity area is just amazingly put together with so many interactive things to do and see. The playground area is just fun for adults to LOOK at, I can't even imagine being a kid and getting to run and play in and around it! There are places throughout the museum that are worn and dated from thousands and thousands of hands touching it but honestly when you think about the daily traffic - it still looks great and almost everything was in working order. I must agree with other reviews that talk about the need for more parent seating options. When your kid just wants to play, play, play - I am willing to let him do so if I've got somewhere to rest my back. There are tons of wall spaces where additional benches could easily fit in for us weary parents. With that being said- there ARE benches available throughout if it's not a crazy busy day, after the school buses left I was able to rest my feet more often. The Science Live show was back as of our visit and a MUST SEE. The new theater is gorgeous! I loved the bike area that was added since my last visit, there are so many cool antique bicycles! My son loved being able to get in the jet cockpit, he kept asking to go back to that all day. He loved anything to do with playing in water and there were a few areas that allowed that. He had so much fun climbing around in the honeycomb structure. We were able to sit in for a cosmos show which was also a great break from wandering the huge property all day. I was disappointed to find out that after a certain point in the day, they only serve pizza at the cafe - as a diabetic, low carb dieter - that meant there were no options for me for lunch. I wish there was something on the website somewhere that lets you know this so people staying all day and banking on grabbing something on site can plan accordingly. All in all, my son had an amazing day and I am sure the next time we visit OKC we will plan to make Science Museum Oklahoma another all-day adventure.

Had a great time at the Science Museum. I got to come here as a kid for school field trips. There was still stuff from when I was little which gave a lot of nostalgia to the trip. The whole family had fun. There is so much to do! And they really make everyone feel included. Not 1 but 2 Nursing rooms that included a quieter environment comfy chairs a couple toys for young while mom is busy nursing and a sink! Love being able to wash my hands. This would have been a five star review except....
Nothing had Ben organized and refilled in most of the curiosity activities(paper cups. balls. Costumes ect) and certain activities should have a time limit or some thing. 1 family hogged 1 activety my family really wanted to try almost the whole day. And we were there open to close. Food is not bad priced and something for everyone or your allowed to bring your own. Was an amazing family day we will be doing again.

This has been a family favorite and we try to visit every time we are in town. There is something here for all ages. It is also deceitfully big. It looks much smaller than it is - you can walk through a door and find yourself in a whole other wing. When planning your trip, here are my tips: Have multiple adults to supervise if you have multiple kids. There is a lot to see and they will want to run off. Some areas are closed off and have only one exit, but a lot of the areas are easy for excited kids to wander off. Wear comfortable shoes. You can spend a long time here. Our most recent visit, we spent 3.5 hours and still didn’t see/do everything we wanted to fit in. We did buy food at the cafe - I feel like the options have significantly decreased since the pandemic, so next time we will bring our food from home - but the food we got was enjoyed. There is a planetarium that does shows, so if you want to see one, be sure to check showtimes - and sometimes the lines will fill up quickly. They also do a live show near the entrance, so check the times for that, too. They are usually big hits, although we did not make it to a show this trip. Parking is free and we did not wait for tickets although we did arrive on a Wednesday.

Really fun place to take the kids. My wife and I found it entertaining as well. We were there for a few hours and still didn't get the chance to go through all the areas. Plenty to do. I also saw complaints in a bunch of reviews about things being broke. But I only saw one display what was broken. So maybe they've been repairing things. I hope so. Kids loved it and I'd take them back again. But it is expensive so get ready for that!

This place is so AWESOME! I have kids ranging from ages 5 to 17 and they all had a blast! There's something for everyone to enjoy here.
They have tons of exhibits! Really anything you could think of, lol. They have water play, sand, a mirror maze, a "treehouse" a pretend play theater, gymnastics stuff, a replica of a tornado, a giant prism you can crawl in, bed of nails, games, a planetarium... This list goes on and on! My kid's favorite was the big climbing area they had in one section. It had multiple slide and tons of areas to climb in. They had a 3-story twisty slide that you had to climb to. Right next to it was a funhouse. Lots of fun!
I would 100% come back here

We had a lot of fun. There are so many different exhibits that 4 hours wasn't enough to fully enjoy every. I recommend getting there before lunch to maximize the amount of time to see everything without rushing. There are a lot of benches to take short breaks and rest your legs. The food court is pretty expensive so eat before you go. There's plenty of opportunities for pictures.

I thought the Science museum of Oklahoma was absolutely fantastic. The museum itself is quite large and spacious, and has many wonderful exhibits and artifacts to check out. They have a great collection of airplane models that have a lot to do with aerospace history. They have a very neat exhibit dedicated to optical illusions that is very interesting to explore. Probably my favorite part of the museum is the planterarium. They offer multiple showings throughout the day and it is a fascinating experience. If you have the ASTC passport, then you get free admission here.

Thunderbird Casino is a long-lasting establishment providing various table games, slot machines, a lounge, a dining area and live weekend musical performances. The selection of slot machines is impressive while the beverages offered at the bar are affordable. Their grill serves delicious food with one of their specialties being catfish platter. However, whether they payout or not can be unpredictable as sometimes winning big is possible but other times $50 may only last for 10 minutes.
Pretty good slot machine selection, inexpensive bar drinks, and the grill has really good food! I love going out there! I came across this lady just randomly helping me out to understand how the promotion worked for the night. Good times. 😎😎

New Years Eve and their system is down! Cash only in machines. Place cash in machine... Play... Get ticket... Go to cashier cage... Cash out ticket... Go to another machine and place cash in to machine to play..... Repeat. The casino is to give away 2 vehicles tonight but the system is down. No chances to win the vehicles will be given. This is the night of the giveaway! What a Crock! Seems like just a ploy to get people in the building only to be disappointed and not have to give away anything. It was my first time there and we will never be back! We could not even get players club cards. I get offers for 50 dollars players credit every month from several casinos. I guess we will take our money to a more reliable establishment

It's fair they need some remodeling there are at least 3 sections it could be nicer if the food area is moved to the center even make it a patio eating event outside or closer so you could take food out and still be protected from the wind. Inside for a more friendlier and healthier atmosphere carpets need to be replaced and making one of the buildings a non smoking area.

The parking lot was kind of neglected and I wasn't sure if I had parked in a handicap space or not since I couldn't read what was a square but not in the parking spot.
But I'm sure that the parking lot is on there list of things to remodel since they had just finished remodeling the casino and from what I was told they are remodeling the bar and restaurant.
The casino was very clean with lots of new games. Although some of my favorite games I like were either out of order or the buttons were broke. So I wasn't able to play the bet I wanted to play. That part was kind of frustrating.
I wasn't there long since my money went fast.

Excellent..
I went and got pizza and wings. A young lady by the name of Raven had said she made the pizza. I got home and WOW..half Supreme and half lots meat
...was excellent. Staff very polite, friendly, and helpful.
Thank you

The front 30 feet should be off limits to smoking...you need better exhaust system in that area....it hits you like a ton of bricks...we come time to time and love the grill... but...boy howdy that entrance is like walking into small closet with 2 huge ashtrays with 3 week old butts in them...sorry but very unappealing.. 😢😢

Excellent facility. Recently attended a pow-wow in the casino for the beautiful Oklahoma Indian Biker Princess. There is also an additional space connected by a small hallway that served as a vendor room and supper line. Hand sanitizing stations were available at every door. Very clean. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I come here specifically for the grill. They have new management now that are friendly clean appearances and honestly amazing food. REAL burgers. The way they should be made here in the U.S.A. secondly the mozzarella moons. Fresh, REAL mozzarella in perfect breading. And the portion is massive for 6.50$. Looking for a good meal? Look no further. Thunderbird casino has what you're looking for.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum honors the 168 people killed in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, as well as all those affected by the tragedy. The outdoor memorial features the Gates of Time and Field of Empty Chairs, while the museum offers a number of exhibits about the bombing.
Sad place to visit, but we wanted to pay our respects to those who were lost here. The grounds are beautiful considering what happened here, the reflecting pond relaxes your tension with gentle draining water sounds as you stroll around reading posted signs telling you what everything symbolizes. Didn't have a chance this time to visit the museum but I'm sure it's comforting to those who lived through this terrible event. Prayers to all.

To the guard on duty late 8.6.22, thank you for making us feel welcome and safe when we happened upon the memorial at 1030pm. We are from Texas and in town for just tonight. We drove by and got out to take a picture of the fence of tributes. You invited us into the memorial grounds and gave us wonderful information that made our visit more meaningful. My 8 yo daughter was completely captivated by the memorial and wanted to read every name on every chair and read into whom the victims might have been and their relations to each other.
This was an experience we will never forget. We will keep all of the victims and loved ones in our prayers always.

If you’re in Oklahoma City than you need to come to the memorial. This memorial does an incredible job of honoring the victims of the attack and the heroic first responders. Definitely prepare yourself mentally because it is quite a bit to take in at once if you’re not expecting it. I spent about three hours in total at the museum so give yourself enough time to see everything. The presentations and recorded interviews are absolutely incredible and are extremely informative and captivating. There’s a big section on the arrest and prosecution of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols which I easily could have spent more time looking at. Everything is so well put together and all the staff are extremely informative and will answer any questions you have. 10/10!

A beautiful memorial in the heart of Oklahoma City. This memorial plays an amazing role in keeping the memories of those lost, as well as those affected by the events, alive. It is so well thought out. Walk outside the memorial to find the chain link fence and spend some time reading notes to lost loved ones. Pay attention to the black painted brick on the museum which shows where windows were blown out and fresh brick in the building. These unique features all add to the magnitude of the true memorial area. I would say parking was ample, but for whatever reason...hard to find (more so know the cost and if it was public parking or not). Don't get me wrong, there is PLENTY of parking in the area. We did not tour the museum, but I wish we would've. We did enter the museum to see the gift shop and use the restroom. I'd rank this as a "must see" memorial.

Oh my! A solemn remembrance of a horrible event in recent history of the U.S. The creators of this museum were thoughtful and thorough with their interpretation of April 19, 1995. From "an ordinary day" until the present day, there are interviews, artifacts (large and small), pictures - anything you can imagine that describes the day, the weeks of search and rescue/recovery, the years of waiting for justice, what all mankind can learn from it- it's all there.
I especially liked how the outside memorial was planned; I believe it is an appropriate and meaningful way to remember those people who were killed.
May this memorial and museum continue to be a source of healing and understanding of the experience.

Everybody goes during the day and it's absolutely beautiful during the day. I have also been in the daytime and love it I go to the marathon and compete. I happen to be in downtown and wanted to see it at night. There is a security guard so you don't feel unsafe. He was a very nice man. To see this place at night with the chairs lit was a whole nother experience unto itself. It was so quiet and peaceful you could just hear the reflection pulled trickling. The remembrance wall with the saying in the times are lit. It was a good time to just go and not have a lot of people. Where you could reflect pray for those people and their family look at the memory wall and just have your moment.

June 6, 2017: I arrived about 1:00pm. No car or foot traffic at all. I was overwhelmed with the monument. I remember the day the bombing occurred, seeing half of the building gone. Being here gave me a different perspective especially reading the names of those who perished and seeing the remains of the bldg. The artist(s) who created this monument did a magnificent tribute. All the chairs, small and large, the reflecting pool, the remaining tree. It was breathtaking; it was peaceful. A must stop anytime you are even close. Pictures do not do it justice.

So beautiful! Love the survivor tree. Videos and pictures throughout the site. If you want to go through the museum you can but there is a charge for that. If you want to see just the area of the bombing, it is free. Make sure you see the statue of Jesus across the street also.

This museum was amazing and they do a great job of telling the story of the day of and the days following.
While the museum was extremely informative, the real star was the memorial itself. This was probably the most beautiful memorial I have been to in the U.S. Both the simplicity and complexity behind the meaning of it all is incredibly moving.
I don't want to write a novel about all the symbology, but definitely pick up a brochure and read for yourself!

My wife and I are taking a cross country road trip and spent an evening in Oklahoma City. While in town, we visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. The museum is well done with many exhibits that teach about the horrible event, the people whose lives were taken, and the response of the people of Oklahoma City. While it is difficult to relive these sorrowful events, it is also good to be reminded that these events do not define nor destroy us.
There was a school group that was going through the museum at the time we visited. Truthfully, some of them didn't "get it" and were rather cavalier in their attitude. But some did understand the significance, and even for those who did not, it is good that the seeds of understanding are planted. Perhaps someday they may fully recognize the solemn day for what it was.
Following our visit to the museum, we went outside to see the memorial. Where the building once stood, a beautiful pool of reflection now exists, bordered by two large walls with times 9:01 and 9:03 inscribed. Those times represent the moments before and after the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building. A field of empty chairs sit adjacent to the pool, representing those who were killed in the bombing. The memorial is a beautiful but somber reminder of the tragic day, but also of the strength and determination of the human spirit.
Greg Squyres — Google review
They do a great job with this difficult situation. The museum does a great job of showing the events from the time before the bomb all the way to the execution. It also tells the story of the heroes, survivors and victims. It was great to hear the stories but it is an emotional journey.
Chris Hurst — Google review
Still remember it like it was yesterday, as a senior in HS about to graduate. So sad and powerful to see the chairs, which represent approximately where the victims were in the building. Seeing all the small chairs of children that were in the daycare is heartbreaking. A well-done memorial that is ranger-patrolled for any questions or discussion about the event and venue.

My family started our OKC tourist day at the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, which was a pretty somber experience. The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was very well done, and really captured the anguish of that day in 1995.
The museum had numerous artifacts recovered from the rubble, as well as a shocking volume of items related to the investigation and subsequent execution of Tim McVeigh. The guy planned and executed the whole thing (almost) using a fake name. At bottom, if he hadn't screwed up and used his real name to order Chinese food from a hotel where he'd registered with his fake name, he'd likely have never been caught as there would have been no link to a real person. Good thing he wasn't as smart as he thought.
A particularly powerful part of the outdoor memorial was the empty seats - one large seat for every adult and one small seat for every child that died in the bombing. The number of small seats was heartbreaking. If you're ever in the area, this is a must see - just be prepared for an emotional experience.

Incredibly detailed account on that very tragic and unforgettable day in April 1995. I remember listening to the radio while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, on this fateful day. The visit to the memorial brought back so many memories. It goes beyond comprehension how much evil McVeigh and Nichols had to plan for the extermination of potentially far more than the 168 lives they took. Thank you to the precious staff of the memorial for doing such a blessed job at being so compassionate and empathetic to all those families that lost loved ones so prematurely not so many years ago.

Visiting the memorial is a visceral experience. We decided to buy museum tickets at 4:15, thinking it would be plenty of time to finish by 6 PM close. We were quite rushed toward the end. The video footage, interviews with survivors, and items on display that were collected both as evidence and as momentos from survivors and rescuers are incredible. Plan to spend another 30-60 minutes outside, walking around the reflecting pool and contemplating Survivor Tree. We also made the decision to return after dark to view the memorial lit up at night. It is serene and even more beautiful. Very safe to walk around, as well. Highly recommend.

The memorial was beautiful and the park rangers Dan and Cody were very helpful. I loved that the reflection pond was moving and made noise. I was not impressed with the museum though. The museum is "affiliated" with the National Parks Service but they don't take the NPS Annual Pass. The museum was very claustrophobic and there was no easy way to bail. I was locked in the "recording room" where they played a tape where the bomb exploded but then lights flashed and there was no warning and no way to get out. The rangers were great though so because this listing combines the memorial and the museum this is more about the museum.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a very powerful and well done monument to the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing on April 19th, 1995.
In my opinion it is best to start in the museum, which features several videos, displays, witness testimonials, and even items and parts of the building that survived the explosion. I found the saddest part was the Gallery of Honor, which features photos of the victims with items that their families donated that speak to who they are as real people.
The outdoor memorial makes more sense after you've toured the museum because it puts the memorial into context. It is very beautiful but sad.
The staff are all very nice and helpful, both in the museum and at the memorial.

Very emotional. The museum is very graphic and it depicted the scenes very well. I was emotionally sick to my stomach reading everything and seeing so many lives cut short and families depleted. It is amazing how much the community and country rallied together to rebuild. The memorial outside waa peaceful and serene.

This was amazing! It's a must see if you're in OKC and you have about 3 hrs to go through it. It was very emotional going through this memorial museum. There were some younger kids there with their parents that had a hard time going through it. You can't help but want to cry and yet be angry that it happened in the first place. Definitely worth the time and money. They do have a parking ramp to park in.

Today was my first experience at the OKCMM and it had to have been the most moving and powerful experience I've had at a museum. I arrived before they opened and used the time to walk around the site soaking in every piece of tribute and honor. The experience begins as any ordinary day, only to be met with explosions as the next door opens showing the destruction and recovery efforts. The heartstrings are in constant motion reading every piece of information and seeing the pictures as if you were on scene for the events.
A couple times I had to move to a corner and breathe as emotions were in constant engagement. While there are exhibits detailing the men behind the attacks, this experience is truly focused on those who died and those who risked their lives in the recovery effort. The love and unity of Oklahoma, United States, and world truly shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
I highly recommend visiting this museum and to take your time going through the museum and grounds. This was my first time in OKC and I've experienced great museums and experiences, but this truly is a beacon of light and hope in the midst of tragedy. I will absolutely visit again anytime I am in the area.

I was privileged to be shown around by an exceptional park ranger, Dan McKee. He described the solace of the moments. The past, present and future of the site. The OKCMOA Museum Store offers a unique experience with its permanent and traveling exhibitions of global artworks, along with classes, a library, a cinema, and an upscale full-service restaurant called the Oklahoma City Museum of Art Museum Cafe. The cafe features an impressive collection of Chihuly glass sculptures and serves gourmet land, sea, and pasta entrees for lunch and dinner. In addition to its upscale ambience, the cafe also offers conceptually down-home fare like fried chicken and waffles.
It says store but it means the entire museum. This is a wonderful museum! Nice permanent works and great temporary exhibits! Y'all should visit it while they have the special added exhibit of flower arrangements! You can tell by my photos that they are great!

I didn't expect $6 for latte' or $11 for a triple espresso when even Starbucks is a fraction of that. Beautiful garden seating area outside, which is ruined by the aggressive local homeless, aimlessly wandering around, looking for cigarettes or unattended food. Some of them go inside, forget why they went in and wander out again(ROFL). Just be on your guard cause the staff are just as much a bunch of hustlers as anywhere else.
The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden located in the metro area of Oklahoma City. The place was beautiful - we just came at a time when they decided to do an update on the grounds. The big section closed off, and working on it. We still were able to visit a lot of the beautiful flowers and trees. So peaceful here, even though, it was a windy day so, we didn't stay too long. They also have artwork for sale in the office. This is a gorgeous place!! We didn’t pay to go into the building but just wandered the grounds and enjoyed the playground. Wow. Very impressed with how much there is to see and smell. The way the gardens are built around the water is amazing. We only had about an hour and a half to spend here but we could have spent at least an hour longer! We were lucky to go in late March the week before the tulip festival began. This place is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in OKC!
There are stairs, but everywhere in the garden is stroller and wheelchair accessible in some way or another.

What a beautiful place to take a stroll and enjoy some time with your loved ones. There are plenty of chairs and benches all around the park area to sit down and have picnics or relax. The enclosed Children's area with the splash pad is particularly fun and super cute. There's a merry go round next to the Children's okay are as well. When we went, the Crystal Bridge Conservatory was closed for construction so we didn't get to see any of it. However, there was plenty to explore and enjoy around the botanical gardens. Tips: it seems the homeless come bathe and cool down at the splash pad, though they didn't seem threatening and kept their distance from the kids, that's something to look out for.

Very nice, serene, but humid. I highly recommend and came here on a road trip with my husband. I loved the gift shop and the grounds. However there is a admission fee. For two people it totaled ten bucks. So keep that in mind. I think it’s free to walk the grounds but to go inside the actual tropical gardens will cost. I still very much enjoyed my time and loved seeing all the plants.

A pretty indoor garden with lots of thing to see and a cute gift shop connected.
Google for some reason says it's free to visit the garden, but the inside/greenhouse is actually about 10.00 per an adult.
The plants looked well taken care of and it was very warm inside. We didn't really get to explore outside since it was about 4 degrees outside during daylight, but the whole outside walking area looked huge. Probably great for kids!
Would highly suggest visiting maybe after the last very frosty day of the season. This way the whole area can be enjoyed.

We went to the Tulip Festival. It was a little crowded, but it was Easter weekend as well. The flowers were beautiful. I think on a less crowded day it would actually be really serene and peaceful.

The guide that we had as well as the horses, cats, and dogs were all absolutely wonderful. We paid about $50 for two people, which lasted about 30 minutes on a guided tour. I originally was mistaken on the pricing and received a phone call from Tabitha, who was trying to make things right from a customer service perspective. I appreciate any business that's willing to reach out, because many of us that go out to places don't always know what our reviews going to be until hours after we've settled in at home from an experience. So to receive a phone call the same day I placed a review was nice and showed me how much care and consideration these individuals put into working here. I did share some feedback with her to let her know that for new folks in the area some clear instructions on where to go to start the guided tour would be helpful, and she handled that constructive criticism professionally. I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend any family check this location out, as well as any individuals or couples for that matter. Thank you and God bless.

I enjoyed seeing the horses, but the website made it seem as if we would be getting a guided tour. Instead it was a self-led tour where you could just walk around and pet the horses. So that was a little disappointing. I thought there would be more information about who they were, what they did, etc.

I really enjoyed it. My wife paid for a private tour. The lady giving the tour, did an excellent job, all while carrying a small baby on a chest harness. This was well worth the money and two thumbs up.

I had no idea their hooves were so big. They're like the Redwoods of horses. Super cool it's open to the public for free. They are majestic animals.

Our group really enjoyed our tour. The tour guide did a great job answering all our questions about Clydesdales. The kids had fun petting the horses and haven’t stopped talking about going back.

If you find yourself in the Yukon Oklahoma... The express ranch is something to see.... We were able to visit the Clydesdale Barn see and meet some of the horses... It was also bath day which was quite an event... We got to visit the barn and walk through the paddocks to meet some of the other... The staff is open to questions I'm very informative about their giant co-workers
.... These horses travel all over the country. And as usual with some of the bigger more interesting places in our state... They have quite the gift shop.

We had a fantastic time at Express Ranch Clydesdales during our visit over the fall break. Although we encountered a minor issue, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make it right. We look forward to returning in the future to interact with and observe these gentle and endearing giants. It was an unforgettable experience for my littles!

Great for the whole family. We had a large group and so paid to have a guide. She was great. Very knowledgeable and went into a lot of detail about raising the horses and the different kinds of horses. The facilities were very clean.

We had an amazing time and the guided tour was well worth it! The guide was very knowledgeable and so sweet to the kids with us. It was a very hot day but didn't feel too warm in the barn and shade!

Fantastic experience where you get to interact with the horses in the barn and outside on the ranch. The facility is clean and the staffs are friendly. Note that they are busy during the holiday season and many of them are out for parades. Additionally, it’s a nice drive to the barn with beautiful, open landscape.

The Fred Jones Jr Museum of Art boasts an impressive collection of historical pieces, including East Asian art and impressionist works. The museum has implemented a mask policy and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of its visitors. Admission is free, with a small area for free parking available. The first floor is filled with fascinating exhibits that capture the essence of history, leaving visitors in awe. This exceptional museum offers more than just alumni artists' work, making it stand out from other paid-entry museums.
It’s amazing Museum, even there are Van Gogh’s real paintings! I will go again when the new exhibition come.
I can’t believe it is free. I and my daughter spent 3 hours, it’s so beautiful, Every staff is so friendly. I don’t want leaving.

The museum has some truly amazing works of art. I was particularly impressed by the first wing on the left after entering through the main entrance. The synesthesia exhibit was neat and I was thankful for the line/crowd control to keep the inside from being so chaotic.
However, as someone who has visited hundreds of museums and who frequents them quite often, I was taken aback by how smothered I felt by one of the security personnel. At certain points following our every step closely to where it made myself and my teenage child feel very uncomfortable. For that reason we will most likely not be back.

I'm surprised that they don't charge any fee to appreciate beautiful arts! There is a piece of Van Gogh's painting. It is worthy to go. But I don't like the modern arts collection ...I feel it is too simple except the liberal statue one, check the picture below.

If you’re in the mood for amazing classical art the likes of which aren’t normally seen in Oklahoma sprinkled in with some casual racial profiling and the razzle dazzle of being followed, this is the place for you. I personally found it to be tiresome, and despite my love of classic art, having a staff member follow my girlfriend and I around the museum didn’t create the perfect, starlit loving night you may expect. It took away from our enjoyment and I don’t know that we’ll be back.

So much fun! It was super quiet when we went. They still have a mask policy and social distancing so that made me feel super safe. Free admission. They have a small area with free parking. Didn't make it to the second floor because I spent a ridiculous amount of time admiring items and breathing in the history on the first floor. Such an awesome experience. Highly recommend!!!

The Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is a red-brick football arena that serves as the home field for the University of Oklahoma's Sooners. On game day, the atmosphere is electric and lively. The stadium has over 85,000 seats available and offers a variety of vendors selling souvenirs, food, drinks, and other items commonly found at college football games. During halftime, mascots can be seen walking around and taking pictures with fans.
GAME DAY ATMOSPHERE!! is the only way to describe this stadium on game day. The fans are active, and energetic all game long. It is a great place to watch the game this is nice stadium with many vendors from souvenirs, food, drinks, and whatever else you could want at college football game. Halftime the mascots walk-around and take pictures with everybody. This was my first in person game in years, and I witnessed the the Caleb William's Era of OU football begin in person that was awesome. This team has a great history, and with Williams a great future.

First ever visit to the Palace on the Prairie. Have to say this place has the most electric atmosphere of any NCAA Div I football stadiums. We had a blast and enjoyed the game. Fans are very passionate but yet friendly towards others.
No issues getting in, security keeps the crowds moving. Recommend getting to the area two hours prior to kickoff to get parking, walk to the stadium and find your seats. Plus that gives you enough time to get food/drinks. The bleachers seats are wide enough, clearly labeled. Only complaint is that the rows are narrow but that's like most college football stadiums.
Concession prices are comparable to any top tier NCAA football team or professional football.
Highly recommend attending a game here. It's a great experience.

BEST Place to see a football game Hands Down. Or actually, HORNS DOWN!!!! Come early and do some tailgating or check out some the many awesome restaurants and bars on Campus Corner. You will have a great time hanging with friends, family and other Sooner fans. BOOMER!

First time at this stadium it was such a great time loads of fun! Very very packed the parking is insane we had to park like 9 blocks from the stadium and walk the whole way. Not complaining but still the parking is completely far fetched lol. Usually lots of walking involved!
OU actually won that game and if you are in the area or thinking of going I definitely recommend just dress accordingly and bring your walking shoes!
Shannon Carter — Google review
We had an incredible experience from before the game all the way until after!
We arrived early for some tailgating. The atmosphere was so much fun as everyone was getting ready to enjoy the game. We walked around the stadium and saw lots of neat statues and areas. Our kids got to take photos with the mascots that were walking around our area. The best part was watching the Pride of Oklahoma marching band playing to get everyone ready.
The sun was hot but the Sooners were hotter! The announcer did a great job of keeping everyone engaged and participating in helping the team win. We enjoyed watching the fireworks and Sooner Schooner celebrate after many of the touchdowns.
The food selection was reasonable and the prices were as expected. We really appreciated the water stations providing free water. We had clear plastic bottles with us to refill. And we did many times to stay hydrated.
It’s important to note that you can only bring clear bags of a certain size and no food or drinks into the stadium.
Leaving the stadium is normally busy with the rush of people walking out unless you have a good path to take. There are options to park further away and take shuttles to and from the game for less effort spent dealing with navigating traffic.
We love the Sooners and hope to go to many more games!

It's always a fantastic atmosphere on Saturdays at the Palace on the Prarie. If you have the opportunity to come to game in Norman do yourself a favor and do it.
Over the years the upgrades to the stands, scoreboard, and concessions have made the experience even better.
Parking sucks but it's to be expected and the concessions are stupidly overpriced but you are coming to a sporting event so you can't complain.

Smooth traffic during football day, easy in and out. Several gates to the stadium. Nice boy Scout guided seat directions. When we leave the stadium, cleaning crew lines up outside the stadium. Definitely Will visit again.

Stopped at OU to see the stadium of one of my favorite college teams as we did a southern US road trip. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go inside the gates to see the field area, but enjoyed seeing the Heisman statues and statues of Switzerland and Stoops.
If anyone from OU reads this, I would suggest having tours of the stadium like LSU does of its stadium.

Just... FANTASTIC! Being from an area where we only have NHL I didn't really care to go to an OU game, especially for the money it costs. I had an opportunity to go to the stadium off season and it was breathtaking! I tried to imagine the hustle and sounds and energy of the full stadium. Just a great atmosphere and OK is so fortunate to have their gorgeous stadium on the OU campus
Victoria LoRusso — Google review
Great football experience and fun environment. If your backside doesn't like bleachers, bring a bleacher cusion or something small to sit on. I suggest small as you're packed in like sardines (at least in our section) on bleachers. Was fun, just a tight fit!
Quick note for first timers, learn from our mistake as first timers -- look at your football ticket to find the Gate # to enter. The gate # is not a suggestion, it's almost imperative that you use that gate if you don't want it to take 30-minutes to figure out how to get to your seat. We entered at the complete opposite side of the stadium and it was a hilarious debacle trying to figure out how to get to our seats.
Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History offers extensive displays showcasing the natural and cultural history spanning back four billion years, along with a diverse range of artwork. The museum is particularly appealing to children as they can enjoy exploring dinosaur exhibits, observing various animals and engaging in hands-on activities. Additionally, visitors can benefit from extra educational activities on weekends and special offers for members. The facility features clean restrooms and an elevator for those with mobility needs.
So much fun here!!
Our kids love all the dinosaurs, animals and hands on activities. So much to read and learn here. We've been so many times and still haven't read it all.
Extra activities on the weekends, at least once a month and special offers for members are available, too! They have clean bathrooms & their staff are kind and helpful as well! (There is an elevator for those that need it too, woo!)

This was a lot of fun, and the best part was meeting Nance, who, after telling her it was our first time visiting, gave us a tour in the bone section. She had personally been on several digs herself along with years at some of the best museums. She was knowledgeable and funny and made the experience that much more fun.
Besides that, the rest of the museum was awesome and educational, and we had an excellent time. Can't wait to go back with the kids.

We drove down from Tulsa to visit with our 3 1/2 year old because he’s very into dinos right now. The museum itself is very nice and clean. Tons to look at but even more to read. If you’re a reader this is a great museum for you. There is a kids discovery room that was very hands-on and interactive - great for the kids to take a break and play. The gift shop is wonderful too, they even have some $1.50 dinosaurs & bugs which was a nice surprise as usually museum gift shops can be expensive. All in all it was a great museum & I wish I’d had more time to explore and read but my 3 year old was ready to move on pretty quickly so I think we will wait & try to visit again when he’s a little older. If we were local we would visit more often!

Amazing experience here with my children. Every exhibit fascinated my young kids and you could truly see their little brains absorbing all of the information. There is some thing here for every age and level of education and I’m really thankful that we visited. The staff , However, made our experience an absolute five-star experience. The people at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful, but the lady in the gift shop likely left us with such a great impression of the museum. She was so helpful in finding my children the stickers that they wanted, and going to look for shirt sizes for our youngest because he loved the design. I’ve never seen someone go above and beyond to make my family and my children feel like they were so special for just wanting to buy a T-shirt. Thank you for not only pouring into educating the community, spending so much time putting together these exhibits, but also hiring such great people to be the face of this amazing museum.

There was hardly anyone there and it’s a holiday weekend. My kids enjoyed the discovery center. There were family restrooms with baby changing stations which made diaper changes easy. Very spacious and lots of exhibits with interactive stations for toddlers and older children. They offer veteran and active duty discounts for admission. 3 and under were free.

A very nice look into the wildlife and First People of the local area. had very clever and informative displays and the 'Dinovator' was very well executed. unfortunately couldn't stay as long as I'd have liked because the entire main hall reeked of gasoline, which permeated into the exhibit areas (though thankfully not the front entrance).

Our visit to the National Weather Center facility was eye opening. You realize that daily weather and severe storms for the US are tracked and forecasted somewhere but this was a great opportunity to better understand who actually does these activities.
The center is a multilevel facility with computers, monitors and smart people everywhere. There were storm trackers being outfitted with sophisticated radar in the garage. They even had actual weather equipment used in the movie “Twister” on display. The facility is on the University of Oklahoma campus so next time you’re there to catch a game, don’t hesitate to absorb technology at it’s finest.

Hello!?! WEATHER FESTIVAL.
Okay, first off let me get this out of the way! My nerd radar is redlining! This place is frikken AWESOME! The grounds are so well kept and the water features are relaxing and maintained. Did you know the storm prediction center is here? There’s a tornado lab? A tornado simulator? A dopler lab? They have their own hashtag #OKWX
What?!? I know! Awesomeness, right?!
Okay, okay, I gotta calm down. Once a year there’s a festival held here with all the local meteorologists and helicopters and it’s literally the only time you can come inside, walk around and get super acquainted with the ever changing, and sometimes deadly, weather in the great state of Oklahoma. Other than that, it’s pretty much on lock down so don’t be upset if the staff won’t let you wonder around. Friend them on FB for information on the next yearly festival usually held in November.

Riverwind Casino is a vibrant hotel that offers various dining options and live entertainment alongside its gambling facilities. While guests may not be guaranteed their preferred room, they were generally satisfied with the amenities provided. The establishment has made efforts to improve guest experience by fixing issues such as broken TVs and weak coffee. Despite lacking in-room microwaves, the casino offers an excellent buffet for meals. Riverwind serves as a convenient stop for travelers on highways and is especially valuable during holidays when other dining options are limited.
Such a nice casino and friendly people here. They're going through some construction but it's well organized and clean. Plenty of fun slot machines to play. I ate at their restaurant Chips & Ales I think that's the name . The Chicken Pot pie was the best I've ever had. My server Chastity was so professional and friendly I thought she was a manager to my surprise she wasn't but most definitely belongs in a position like that in your casino. Keep up the awesome job! Last but not least I had an amazing day here on Monday. Made up for my last visit a month ago where they kept my money.😁

I had so much fun at Riverwind tonight! The first machine I put $20 into I hit for $150. My fiancé decided to try the machine next to me and he hit for around $140. Then after spending another $60 I hit for another $120 and my fiance hit for another $153! All in all we had a lot of fun. They have a huge selection of slots to choose from, and although the tables were pretty full we could have found one or two to play at should we have wanted to do that. I also liked how there was at least 1 place still open to eat at when we were done at around 130am ( Burger King). There are a lot of restrooms all around so you don't have to look far when ya gotta go. The ONLY thing I didn't like is that we had such a hard time trying to find even ONE cashier so we could get our change that we ended up just leaving it behind after a good 10 minutes of walking around and looking. But Other than that we had A-blast. We were also able to park pretty close to the entrance so all in all I would say this casino should be a definite go to if you are in the mood to play. Two thumbs up from me!

Super expensive unless you only want crab.
It was the worst buffet I've ever experienced.
They have a line undeserving long. That's probably why they don't care about ...anything there was weird prome rib that seemed like precooked boil in the bag meat. The pork was dryer than dry looking shreds. No chicken at all and soggy fish and chips. There were very few sides and a lame salad bar. And to finish it a lame desert bar. At least it was above pig slop. For $39.99 it was a waste of money for me And for a casino...shame on your greedy penny pinching managment.

That fact we were able to reserve my favorite room and it was available when we arrived was awesome. However she did inform us she could not promise us the room. New TV and some other things we notice from our last visit were fixed a+ Just wish they would decide putting in the microwave. Chips and Alyse is partly the reason they're not getting five stars and the coffee seems to be weak this go around. I will be back though.

I did the all you can eat buffet on Saturday, which includes snow crab legs. Everything was delicious I got there around 6pm it was about a hour wait, but it was worth it. I mainly ate crab legs, the fried shrimp was good as well as the catfish. I saved a little room for desert, which I chose the bread pudding with carmel and vanilla sauce, but they had alot of options for $45. I will definitely be back 😁. If you get the Riverwind card you save $6

Really did not spend much time in Casino on this cold and wet day. Grounds leading into side entrance was littered with trash. A Landscaping brick unglued. Receptionist at guest counter was helpful issuing a new card & verifying new address from Driver's license. All total played four different slots. The Wicked Wheel was fun & kept me in the game. Ate a steak sandwich from IHOP located in food court. Steak might have been lean beef but appeared to be ground hamburger meat. Riverwind is a nice place to go for entertainment and fun.

We stopped to eat since we were on the highway driving to spend time with the kids. It was on Christmas Day, so it was the only place to really have a meal other than burgers or hotdogs from gas stations m. The buffet was excellent!

We came here on a Saturday evening to grab some crab legs and spend some money. The line to the buffet was incredibly long. We waited 2+ hours in line, and we had to give up near the end, because it was near closing time. The Riverwind Casino Wild Card holder has a benefit of being placed close to the front of the line, so it pushed regular people back a lot. The place was filled with smoke, and I ended up leaving the place with my clothing reeks of cigarettes, and it ended up contaminating my car too. The place needs better air ventilation and filtration to deal with those smell.
One major kudos for this place is that their parking lot was well lit and organized. I felt safe walking and talking with my friend in the parking lot. It was also to find my party, because the parking was well labeled.

Went there with a group of friends last night. They are doing some remodeling but it doesn't appear to be affecting peoples fun. People seemed to be having a great time. They have a large selection of slot games. There are ATM's and bathrooms, a bar area in the center, a smoking area with card tables, roulette (table & electronic), and slots as well as a non-smoking play area. This was only my 3rd time in a Casino but it seemed great to me. There were employees constantly cleaning, waitresses walking by about every 15-20 minutes checking on people, and techs checking machines. The customer service lady was friendly, efficient, and professional all in one which was perfect! I would visit again.

Riverwind Casino offers ample winning opportunities, although the lack of a non-smoking section might be a concern for some. My experience included both victories and losses. The casino itself exudes an aged ambiance, yet hints at ongoing renovation efforts. However, the extent of modernization remains questionable. On-site dining options are available, albeit slightly pricier than typical establishments. Complimentary beverages like water and soda are offered near the entrance upon request.

Small local casino with an equally small hotel attached, in a cornfield next to a highway.
Typical casino, nothing special or horrible about it. You give them money and you leave. Small food court with major fast food chains, and one sit-down restaurant with decent and GENEROUS portions. The buffet is only open for limited days of the week, so I didn't try it.
The hotel side is also your normal hotel. They offer coffee and juice in the lobby, but that is about it besides a vending machine or two. They do not have a pool, or fitness center, but the business center has a PC and printer.
Parking is ample and the service was average. The room was nice with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and TV. The view is either the cornfield or Mcdonald's and marshy area in the distance.
Now cleanliness is another thing. The refrigerator was visibly dirty, and the bottom two shelves were sticky to the point that I just left my items there when I left.
The shower curtain didn't reach the tub, so water soaked the floor every time I used it. The shower drain was "stuck", but with a little effort it, along with a ton of hair came right up!

I did not visit the casino floor or game. I attended Jo Koy stand up. He was funny. However the venue was essentially a ballroom with chairs set up as a theater. It seemed to be old fashion. The good news is that the venue is small enough to have a decent seat even if you end up in section 201 and above. One thing I disliked was the bar closing just before the main show started. That really sucks bcz I was parched the entire show. 😕 Next time I know to sneak water in. Lol.
Such a cool place and a wonderful piece of history! Stop in and speak with the amazing woman in the museum. She is knowledgeable and tells the history of the Fort!

We enjoyed seeing this historic fort. It’s too bad that the buildings were closed to the public, however each one had nice plaques allowing you to know what role it served at the fort. Hopefully in the future there will be enough funds to staff this important site.

What a shame. Made a special trip based on Internet descriptions. It's about a mile north of old Route 66; drove to find it was closed. The welcome center had a "Return at 10" sign in the door, but was closed (at 10:30). After a closer examination, saw a handwritten sign low in the glass "closed because of COVID." Need a sign at the entry off of Rt 66 with Open / Closed. Internet might also let people know. Later down the road, wondered if maybe the museum was in a different building and might've been open.

Great experience! The tours were intriguing. Tour guides were so comitted to the history of fort and told us so much information about indian wars, cavarly and the role of fort during WW1 and WW2.

If you visit, make sure you talk to Deb. She's the sweetest and very knowledgeable. If you like history, make sure you plan on going to see the Christmas guns and their wreath placing ceremony. It was fantastic to watch a real old canon being fired as well as the pistols that were fired in between. While the museum itself is very small, it was a fascinating visit. I definitely suggest going if you have an inkling for history. While it is "kid-friendly", my 9 year old child was most amused with running around in circles outside with his friend. Again, worth the drive and conversation with Deb, a historian extraordinaire, was the absolute best!

My wife and I stumbled across the neatest event going on. We had never been here but drove by it hundreds of times. We decided to take a small detour before heading home. As we approached the entrance there was a sign for a free event. As we get to the Fort we see a bunch of people. There was a calvary event happening. We sat for around an hour to observe. We had the pleasure of speaking with the director and his wife, and troopers as they are known. A neat little place that is well kept and gives you a sense of what life was like many years ago.

Beautiful grounds. We did not go into the museum. It was closed for a little while during our visit. Being run by volunteers, be patient if they aren’t there. A note will be in the door. We enjoyed walking around in the sun taking photos. Don’t forget to visit the Cemetery.

This was a pretty neat museum. It was $6 for adults, and $4 for kids. Unfortunately, one of the 2 buildings you are actually allowed to go inside wasn't open when we were there. But, there is still a decent amount to see even if you don't pay to go inside the museum. I also recommend driving up the hill to the cemetery. There's definitely some good history here.

This is a national treasure that few will bother to explore. Located west of El Reno, Oklahoma on a section of historic US Route 66, with a history dating to the Indian Wars of the 1870's and more recently supporting military services around the world by providing trained horses and mules. This site served as a WWII prisoner of war camp too. Fort Reno has several original buildings and the historic cemetery where early soldiers, staff, dependents and some of the agency mission staff are laid to rest. An adjacent section was added for the POWs that passed while in custody. One of the horses raised and trained here, "Black Jack," was featured as the riderless horse in over 1000 funerals at Arlington national cemetery, including significant state funerals. These include Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Herbert Hoover, and General Douglas MacArthur.
Much of the original post lands were granted to US department of agriculture, and it is used for research for cattle grazing and prairie ecology.
The smaller post parade grounds and buildings that house the museum and exhibits are reasonably well preserved, and the musem staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Much of their operating budget is donations from visitors and local preservation groups. If you visit, please be generous and help preserve this treasure not just for local history, but as a legacy of the nation.

This 45-acre zoo is home to rescued animals, and it is a great place to visit if you're looking for something fun and educational. The owner takes great pride in this zoo, and the staff are professional, kind and respectful of all the animals. The cabins overlooking the facility are beautiful, high-class accommodations with modern amenities that make them very comfortable. So much to see and learn at this zoo - families will enjoy it as much as business people will appreciate it!
I had an absolute blast at this facility! The owner takes pride in this zoo and it shows. Staff were professional, kind and respectful of all animals.

A little pricey we stayed two night in may of 2022. Two adults and two kids in tree house 4. My children had fun but there was a lot of down time with nothing to do. It would have been night to have a splash pad here as well to keep busy. The people that work here or own it are okay not the best customer service but you can tell they love working with the animals and it really shows. We feed animals and walked the park 3/4 times in the two days we where here. When you thank about the amount it cost to care for the animals it make since for there pricing. Definitely an experience I appreciate my children getting to have. Very peaceful and quite.

This Safari zoo in Tuttle is a cute and fun lower budget place to check out in Oklahoma! My husband and I stayed the night in their #3 tree house, above the white tiger exhibit. It was a nice rustic treehouse that came with balcony, and even an outdoor fire pit and grill for those who bring their own propane tank.
Around 6pm we went to see the animals. We were glad we did because they were most active around that time. They have some cute and beautiful Safari animals. Since it's lower budget they don't have a lot to see but what they do have is nice.
We were there Friday evening. The zoo wasn't busy when we got there and when we were exploring it felt very private. The couple of staff members we saw were really friendly and gave us food to feed the monkeys and got the white tigers to get closer to us. That made the experience so much better.
Some parts of the park feel a little abandoned, but we still enjoyed our time there. They have some pretty cool areas to explore. They even have an outdoor dining area that has an upper patio with furniture, grills and a fire pit. It was pretty cool to see.
We feel like the park has a lot of potential and what they do have now is nice. It's a nice place to go to when you want to plan to get away from the busy modern day social media lifestyle. It's fun for kids and teens, especially if you get the VIP to be able to pet and hold some animals. Even couples who love animals, like us, would enjoy it there.

My family was visiting from Utah. We went here and showed up right in time for the VIP tour. Which includes 10 animals being brought out that you can pet, and the zoo. We all had a great time! The staff were all great. The animals are very well cared for. We will definitely go again and want to do the over night experience!

My daughter turned 16 last week and all she asked to do was go to a zoo because she loves animals. When we found Tiger Safari and saw that it wasn't too far, we booked 3 nights hoping it would be an incredible experience and it sure was! We were able to walk the zoo any time the gate was open and each time we saw something different! The animals are well taken care of and it's obvious that the staff cares deeply for each one. The owner is truly passionate about what he does and is a very nice guy with an incredible story. This is a definite MUST for anyone who enjoys spending time with animals!

Went on our last day of spring break. We paid 200 for our family of 5. Which included the admission for the park and the animal Incounter. We are able to hold snakes and pet other animals. My son loved this, he is very big into animals. The park is also great. We will return.

My kids was on Fall break this week and we visited this beautiful and AMAZING Safari. This is DEFINITELY a great place for kids to learn educational things about these exotic animals, reptiles and big cats. We got lucky not many people was there. The VIP portion was a fun experience with kids getting to see the animals up close and handling a few 😊. Kim was AMAZING every animal she brought out had a name and was very alert! The kids ENJOYED recognizing animals from Madagascar Movie 😂. One of the Lemurs was actually named “King Julius” 😂 Kim also educated the kids on Tom the porcupine about “not shooting” quill the shock look on the kids faces was priceless haha. Overall they loved every staff member because they were polite from checking in, walking around to holding the animals . Elroy was definitely our favorite he has the biggest eyes and checked Kim pocket for more snack 😭 We will definitely try and visit once a year.

We will definitely be coming back, it is a great place for any age range. My two year old absolutely loved the experience! Wide variety of animals that are well kept and cared for. Pay for the VIP encounter it is worth it!

Had a mini getaway with my husband. We stayed in one of the treehouses overlooking the tigers, we got to see the bear early in the morning even though we weren't able to during our tour. Since it was Saturday we had the option to join in with others at a big bonfire, however we decided to opt out and have our own little bonfire at the fire-pit in the treehouse. We also did the Mega VIP tour the next morning. We woke up super early and got to see the sunrise.Definetly recommend staying there. Will be back soon to stay a bit longer.
Here are some of the many pictures we took.

Honestly, I really liked this place, I really enjoyed it... if you're going to stay in the cabins, you should know that they don't have toilets, or sinks, or showers... 🫠 the bathroom is public and is at 5- 7 minutes walking (I didn't bathe) lol pretty cool staff, animals looks healthy...

this zoo was quite the visit. our family did the VIP passes for $35 a person. there were around ten encounters in the lodge that we got to be a part of (snakes, rabbits, birds, lizards, and even lemurs that you get to touch and hold). however, there are also tickets for $15 a person to just skip the encounters and walk around the exhibits. we also got to feed monkeys and deer. the monkey pulled his own food on the rope (super cool)! the animals looked happy and cared for. it's really a beautiful zoo.

If you are going, its worth paying to pet and hold the animals. It was a moment for us to get over our fears and they did an excellent job helping my mum and I. Ask in advance to make sure you know what the feeding and petting times are. The monkey feeding was our next fun part. Overall great experience and we had fun.

Spent 2 hours here today and enjoyed every moment! This was such a great park/zoo. There were 6 of us in our group and I highly recommend the VIP so you can hold and pet the animals! The staff there was so friendly and the owner even saw that my son didn’t want to leave and gave him a toy! It was so nice! Really enjoyed visiting, come to find out they even have rooms you can rent out and stay in! We will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I rented one of the large African Manors. The accommodations were absolutely incredible. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed. Meaning a lot of the stuff I brought was completely unnecessary. The atmosphere the nighttime view the sounds of the animals as the sun sets and it starts to cool off. The experience is just incredible. I brought my two adult children to spend the evening with me we cooked out on the patio Enjoyed the beautiful view from the fountain, lit pond and basically had a private roam of the park after the sunset I cannot recommend this experience enough to anybody. It would be an incredible place for a family reunion a great place for a first date night, you name it, and these animals are taken care of. You can tell that they are loved , I love this place so much that I want to come and volunteer out here whenever they need me. Spend the money spend and the time with your family. The experience of being so close to these animals is absolutely breathtaking. It has changed me forever and I would do it again in a heartbeat, and anybody who writes a negative review about this place just has a problem with their life in general, because this place is out standing. Thank you Bill and the lovely lady who gave us our tour as well as the other ladies in the office you have made our experience amazing!

This is an amazing stop if you are in the area! My wife and I visited on a weekend trip and got the VIP package, we got to hold and pet some amazing exotic animals and even feed a few!
All the animals seemed quite healthy and happy 😊
The price was reasonable and we stayed for a few hours, they also have cabana rentals that overlook the animals! All in all a great example of a private park.

We came as chaperones for our son’s school field trip and had a blast! Wide space for kids to run off energy but also many animals to enjoy watching and several areas to relax and eat. We will be back with family and friends .

This place has changed so much. We did the VIP because we happened to walk in 2minutes before it started and got to hold about 10 different animals including a baby kangaroo. Then we were given food to feed deer and monkeys. It was chilly outside but the animals were out and lively. The bathrooms were nice and I loved how healthy the animals looked. Not like arbuckle wilderness. You can tell they are loved and well cared for. They aren’t scared of people at all. It’s safe and fun. The snack places are closed since it’s the off season but I’m hoping to go back and try their treehouse overnight stay in may.

We brought our family for a little getaway and stayed in the African Manor Hut #3. Upon walking up you could tell that the grounds needed just a little bit of attention and care. The manor itself is beautiful. We were really excited to use the big jacuzzi tub to soak and relax before bed. But we couldn't. The water pressure was so bad it would have taken over an hour to fill. Also the water turned cold about 15 minutes into trying. Things were just dusty and dirty like the bare minimum had been done for cleaning. The stove didn't work at all. We were told Upon arriving that it may blow a breaker but we checked and that wasn't the case. It just didn't work. When we made coffee I went to use the creamer and noticed thankfully that it expired in 2022. I went thru the kitchen and threw away a lot of items that were expired that other people had left and just hadn't been checked at all. The bathroom toilet more than a few times had to be messed with so it would fill back up with Water. We were disappointed there was no bonfire after it said there would be on the website but we still had a fire pit on the porch and made our own smores. I know these are all sort of little minor things but when you pay $265 for such a cool accommodation it's just disappointing that some of these things are being neglected. BUT now here's the good! The animal safari part is COOL. You can walk the grounds freely until 10pm and hear the animals all night! It does look a little run down. But the animals are so sweet! We got to touch and hold some of them including the 12 foot python and the baby kangaroo. They give you food to feed the outer door animals So that was really fun as well. The lion jeep encounter they post about online is not even a thing anymore. The glass behind the jeep is so dirty and thick with slime there's no way you'd even see a lion behind it. Everyone there was super nice and you can tell they love those animals! I would definitely recommend staying once for the experience!

This was wonderful! We were looking for something fun on each leg of our drive from California to the east coast. This looked interesting and it is a real gem. The place has so much to see, and the animals were really interesting in us. They came right up to the fence, and I felt that this was really engaging. The kangaroos came right up to us, even with the babies! Tigers, lions, monkeys, lemurs, reptiles and more. If you have the opportunity to check this out, I think you’ll be impressed.
Braum's Family Farm Tour is a well-established fast-food chain based in Oklahoma that offers a wide range of groceries, ice cream, and burgers. The tour provided an educational and entertaining experience for visitors. The workers were enthusiastic about their jobs and interacted with nonverbal gestures to showcase their cool moments at work. At the end of the tour, participants enjoyed complimentary ice cream and cookies.

My recent visit to Braum’s Family Farm Tour, located at 491 County Street 2880, Tuttle, OK 73089, was nothing short of a nightmare, all thanks to an individual named Quinten Walsh. As a truck driver, I’ve seen my fair share of unprofessionalism, but this experience takes the

From the moment I arrived, Walsh’s attitude was appalling. He was rude, unhelpful. His lack of respect for visitors, including myself, was palpable and made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable.

Family fun day out adventure. Would have given it five stars, but do to lack of handicap accessibility. The tour was educational and entertaining. It was nice as the workers always waved and smiled. It seems they enjoyed their jobs, as well as two of the workers engaged us with their nonverbal movements to show us their cool moments at work. Free ice cream and cookies at the end of the tour. It would be nice if various things were added. 1. Tour became handicap accessible. 2. Variety of cookie choices for those who can't eat chocolate. 3. See the production from start to finish. Maybe some hands on activities with supervision of course. But it is free so can't ask for much.

This place is great. The accomodations are great with plenty of space to accommodate different groups.
They have great guides, our favorite being Colton.
They have plenty of hogs on the land and other exotic options.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the lack of hogs we saw sitting in the blinds. The entire weekend we didn't really see any.
During the day the guides get you in hogs through their spot and stalk. Everybody in our group shot the number of hogs they expected.
Thank you for a great weekend!

Had a great time hunting wild hogs with my 11 year old grandson this week at Hog Wild. Our guide Todd was fantastic. Todd was very patient And took the time to set my grandson up for a good shot during the stalk and shoot in the afternoon. We tracked the blood trail but unfortunately we were not able to find it, that’s hunting for ya. Great experience for my grandson. The lodge is awesome (except for no water the first day), the property is beautiful. We had a group of 7 during this trip and everyone got a hog. I advise bringing a side arm cause them hogs are hard to kill and unpredictable. I will totally do this again!!!

If you read these reviews, you’ll notice the majority of poor reviews are because of their ridiculous policy on drinks- INCLUDING WATER- and rude staff (pretty much the same two).
Pushing people to not bring drinks is not helping your business; it’s harming it. I didn’t buy more concessions precisely BECAUSE employees were rude and trying to push drinks on us- even threatening “you better not have any in your car!”
I get they make money off concessions only, and that’s fine- make rules saying “water only” or provide water fountains in the building. People will be more willing to spend money on food and snacks if you don’t have rude employees threatening them over water.
2 stars only because some employees were kind and helpful, and the bathrooms were well kept. Stop threatening your patrons.

So sad I’m writing this review.
We’ve been driving down to this drive in for over 3 years. Sometimes we would come specifically for the burgers. The past 6 months, they have been unable to keep up with the increased business and have asked people to be patient. Our food orders have gone from 20 minutes to over an hour. Fine.
We went this past weekend after a baseball game. It was 104 degrees on Saturday. When I paid, the attendant asked me to roll down my window so he could check the back seat… ok. I obliged. We were relatively close to the front of the line. We got in and the line for concession stand was already long. My son simply wanted something to drink (we’ve started eating before going lately, because the food is declining and taking forever). It was so hot and he was so sweaty, I finally pulled his water bottle out of his baseball bag and told him to fill it in the bathroom. He came back with hot water. He got in the concession stand line and it took 45 minutes just to reach the building. If you cannot accommodate the crowds and provide water for patrons.. you need to allow for a cooler fee. I’m all about supporting local businesses and paying what is required, Denying people access to water should be criminal. You have young children, breast feeding mothers and elderly patrons in summer heat.
We will unfortunately not be back. I cannot, in good faith, continue to support this business practice. Winchester and Beacon both do cooler fees, and that is where we will be going from now on.

We’ve loved coming here until tonight. My wife was going back to the concession stand to get a second drink, and took some old food trash from earlier in the day to the trash can on her way. When she threw it away, the owner rushed out, pulled it out of the trash and told her very angrily to leave if we were going to disrespect his business. This was after we had spent over $30 to get in and at the concession stand. My wife was in tears all the way home because of his disrespectful and hateful attitude. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. I hate to say that we will never return, but it’s obvious that the owner doesn’t care about his customers, only getting all the money he can. My wife called after we got back home to talk to the owner, and he refused to listen and cussed her out so loudly I could hear the conversation across the room. I cannot justify giving such a hateful person any more business in the future.

I am not the guy that ordinarily writes one-star reviews but the Chief Drive In Theater is going to get one. I write lots of reviews and most often they are five-star.
I am going to agree with Sara, Tiffany, and Kady that the water bottle thing is genuinely stupid and petty. My wife and I drove from Noble to visit the drive in and got there late. We wondered if the place was open. We smelled a strong aroma of marijuana (I'm pretty sure it was the medical kind and not the recreational variety). We called and spoke to the angry old man with white hair (I didn't catch your name angry old man) who very rudely told us to go home when he saw our water bottles. Asked me if when we go into a regular theater if they allow them and I said yes. He said they are probably going out of business. Angry old man I sure hope you read this...do you know that the Warren Regal in Moore offers a deal where you can pay $21 each and see as many movies as you want in a month? They are not anywhere near going out of business. How many drive-in theaters exist in this country anymore and you act like a fool and tell the wrong people to leave. We were going to buy popcorn and at least two pretzels from the concession stand and probably sodas to go with them and you threw us out.
You are a damned fool angry old man. I'd be interested to see how much longer your drive-in stays in business.
4,000-acre lake site for fishing, swimming, boating & camping plus mini-mart, eatery & tackle shop.
Very fun.... loved camping there. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The lady that cleans the restrooms does a great job. If we needed a park ranger they would get back to us asap. They did a very good job in keeping things safe. And last but not least was the lady who worked in the office was very helpful as well. We will be going back.

A really pretty lake. Very clean. It has a nice dock for fishing as well as a beautoful golf course. Crossing the damn gives you a gorgeous view of the lake.

STICKERVILLE STATE PARK!! We have been to this state park for many years. It's a busy place in the summertime on the weekends. The marina is a great place to fish and get a hamburger. The golf course is nice too, if that's your thing. We came at the end of August. We knew school would be back in session. The park was almost empty. Our Campground may have had for campers. The bath houses are always clean. They added a new one by the marina. Here is my sad story. This place needs to be mowed terribly. The stickers are horrible. You would think with as Little Campers as there are they would have time to mow. In addition, lots of trash are around the campground. As a reminder, let's all do our part to pick up the trash. Litterbugs have a special place in the bad place.

We booked this last minute; found a spot right on the water! Fishing was good. The park was clean, and the bugs weren't too bad! Wish we would have known about the golf course next door! We took the dogs, and the stickers weren't that bad! Restrooms were clean. Playground was nice for the kids in between fishing!

Deer Run spot #53 needs some serious attention. Timber’s have fallen free and rolled down the hill and are quite treacherous when exiting the rig. This spot is VERY narrow. We have a tiny 19ft long 10 ft wide camper and this spot is so small we could only extend our awning part way but that didn’t even matter because there wasn’t even room for us to sit by our camper anyway. And don’t even get me started on the boaters being allowed to dock right there at the shore line, where I had hoped my son could fish from. Boats parked there the entire weekend, people walking through our site to exit or enter their boats. Nothing of this was mentioned in the site description when I booked. Oh and no fire-pit at this site. Someone had collected some rocks and tried to make a small fire-pit but it was pretty crude and quite sad. Probably won’t be back.

Large lake with plenty of camping and RV sites. Playgrounds for the kids, volleyball nets, and the ground where we were docked was nice, soft sand. Lots of trees for shade, too!

Gorgeous here. Quiet, exactly what I was looking forward to on my vacation. A good cup of coffee on the back patio this morning as I watched the sun come up. And a nice little cafe/ convenience store about a mile up the road.

Where to start? First, it's a beautiful lake..... But we made the mistake of getting a lot at Tent Hill, a semi modern RV site. Well it's tent sites where you can park your RV in a parking space in the parking lot, all marked off for each site, and connect your electric and water, if your cords are long enough. There are no showers and the bathroom is a very nice looking outhouse, no lights and very dirty. They have much better sites for RVs, we saw them when we got lost trying to find our section. Which brings me to the directions. The gentlemen in the office gave directions as if I'd lived here all my life, making it sound like it was around the corner. It was miles away. We got lost and happened to find it. Their maps suck. Later a very nice lady came by and checked on us, we were the only ones in the section.

First time coming out to this state park for a little fishing adventure out of OKC. Water was clean. Boat ramp was nice and could fit two pickups & boats at the same time. Sunset marina was nice and had a good selection of snacks and drinks. Stopped by the state park office for some decals for the cooler on the way out. We’ll be back again!

I camped at the Flagpole tent sites. This camping trip was going well until I got attacked by bees. I have been to Fort Cobb many many times before without any issues with bees. I called the park office to let them know and someone came by to check it out. He said they probably couldn't do anything since honey bees are protected. But they did let me switch my campsite to an available site nearby. Other than that it was a great trip. I saw several police officers and park rangers patrolling the area which I was gelrestful for since I am a woman camping alone.

It's a very pretty area, but we came here to hike and there's only 1 trail :( This state park is more for fishing and camping, but it's beautiful.
A playground or two, a little swim beach looking area and bathrooms. Half of them were still locked up and it's April so that was disappointing.
The trail was nice and had beautiful views, just not enough trails. Beautiful spot to spend a day

I love Fort Cobb Lake. However, it is largely neglected by odwc not being east of I-35 where they enjoy concentrating their efforts. Could have done with some real improvements around rather than wasting money on fancy signs nobody cares about.

It is a very interesting and well organized museum. Very engaging and shared great arts including school children's work along with professionals. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly. Also on top of all that is very clean and relaxing. I hadn't been that aware of the trail but I'd recommend it as a"must see" if your in the area at all.

Great look at the history of the American cowboy and Native Americans and life on a cattle drive. The grounds are beautiful. Plenty of free parking and a covered pavilion. A gift shop with reasonably priced merchandise. I paid about 17 bucks for a quality XXL t shirt. There is a smell -o-vision theater with wind and rain. A good place to spend an afternoon learning a little about our forebears.

Chisholm Trail Heritage Center is very educational for all grade schoolers and very informative to adults. The group learned about everything from Oklahomas greatest historical figures, meteorology, art, and Oklahoma history. The tour guide is excellent at interactive teaching, and the staff is well versed in communication.
They've made great use of the space.
Hope to be back when weather is nice to enjoy the outdoors as well.

Awesome center! Worth a visit. The host/hostess guides you through and you watch a short animatronics show as well as a narrated cattle drive (watch out when it rains!). There are interactive exhibits to make your own brand, take a trail boss quiz, and learn about various sundries at the Duncan General Store. The gallery of Western fine art is impressive and some items are for sale. Finally, a little gift shop offers some souvenirs for all ages!

Extremely interesting. View the 20 minute movie first for a summary history, then view the exhibits. Then walk the grounds of an 1869 original frontier outpost. Ask the docent for directions to Geronimo's grave! A must see bucket-list item.

The Fort Sill museum and staff are wonderful to work with and full of amazing information. My one regret is how little time we were able to spend here.
Greg Vawter — Google review
Fort Sill has two museums, the Artillery museum and the old fort museum. Both are good but the Artillery Museum is very fascinating and full of history. We came to attend our son's BCT graduation and this was one of the first places we visited and we are so glad that we did - our son's AIT will be Artillery and this museum has a wealth of artillery history from pre-revolutionary times to modern. I especially enjoyed the video showing us what our son will be doing in the Army Artillery.
The old post museum requires some imagination because it’s still fully integrated into the base and officers still live in the old houses surrounding the parade field . Be sure to start in the main building and look at the diorama to get your bearings before you walk around. The best display is the old cavalry barracks which is set up exactly as it would have been around 1890-1900.
Ft. Sill played an amazing part in our frontier history and this post does a good job of explaining it.

The service man (Air Force) who was manning the museum was very friendly and knowledgeable about the old fort. He gave us a brief history of the old barracks, homes, stables, chapel, hospital and how they were built. Some are still in use today. Don't forget to stop at the visitor center to get your pass to enter the Base.

We had a fantastic time at the museum. It's very interactive, and while we were a group of 3 adults, we were pressing all the buttons and climbing inside teepees and learning so much. This really is a must see in my opinion, if you like to have a bit of fun while learning new things and seeing interesting stuff.

Small but high quality museum focused on the history and culture of the Comanche Nation. The gallery included historical artifacts from the 1800's through the present day, as well as art created by current tribal members. There is no cost to enter, and the gift shop has a good selection of items. The museum is located near the Museum of the Great Plains and visiting both would make for a good afternoon out.

This was a treat for me as I am drawn to Native American art and culture. So much history., yet it was just like yesterday. Visiting and learning about First Nations fills my heart and touches my spirit. The grounds where the museum is located is in town, yet feels far away and serene. Also, I was greeted and bid farewell by prairie dogs that burrow around the museum grounds !!! Very cool experience.

Nice ambience, peaceful. Depicts details about Comanche native Americans. While I was reading i started thinking we are all the same beings in quest for truth in different ways. In Hindu tradition it's called "Ekam Sat Vipra Bahuda Vadanthi" meaning the same truth but wise man express it in different ways.

This is really small but well done. If you need to spend 30-60 minutes in Lawton then swing by. There is a photo option to wear a buffalo hide and some history items and art. For how small it was I enjoyed it.

Update:
They are setting up new exhibits.
Old New:
They had a lovely exhibit about Comanche peoples. it taught a lot about the life of the Comanche peoples, and the duties of: the family members, and tribe members... from history. They had complete wheelchair access: parking, restrooms, Museum, and Gift Shop. The only small issue was they didn't have the automatic doors to make bring someone in a wheelchair in easier.
It was clean, educational, and it had AC. parking and entry are FREE.

I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone interested in native American culture and history or just good solid history in general. The exhibits were of very high quality and the facility and staff very pleasant. A true gem of historical and cultural significance!
I recommend leaving a donation. They offer this high quality experience freely, and we should help them keep it running and expanding.

It's a great, little museum of Comanche history. They have an excellent display about the WWII Comanche Code Talkers, the native soldiers who helped defeat the Nazis by giving information to the troops in Comanche. The Nazis had no idea how to break the "code", because it was a full language that most of the world had never encountered. Everyone was friendly. Their COVID protocols are awesome. They ask for your vaccine card, if you have one, and take your temperature before allowing you in. If you don't have a vaccination card, they ask you to wear a mask.
Interactive museum charting interior US history, with an 1830s trading post, schoolhouse & depot.
I absolutely LOVE this place! I ended up buying the family membership for $99 because my kids have so much fun. I was blown away the first time we came because this museum is not what I would expect in the best way. I expected it to be like any other museum where you just read about the history and see all of the art and collections… NOPE… it’s even better. They have a really cool simulator that you sit in and hear the story about terrible Tuesday while feeling like you are THERE experiencing it. They have a beautiful gallery that shows you photos from very, very long ago! It’s just beautiful. It’s a great place for all of the family because they’ve got things for adults and so much interactive things for children to do. I strongly recommend checking it out, it’s worth it… AND right out front of the museum you get to see a bunch of cute little prairie dogs!

I lived here a while without going because I thought a museum would be too grown up for my 6 year old twins and 4 year old, but this is an interactive hands on museum that kids can enjoy too. We got the membership and plan to visit all of the OMN museums in Oklahoma. They even have crafts. There are dinosaurs there currently but I think that exhibit will change. We spent a couple hours and plan to go back every now and then and get the most use out of the membership. Go early if you want to get there before the crowds on weekends.

I was very impressed with this museum. I guess I expected a dry, old school museum. But my five and seven year olds very much enjoyed the fact that at least every other exhibit had something to make or hands-on do. They equally enjoyed the kids play items upstairs as much as the history stuff downstairs. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and we probably could’ve made it way more than four if we had brought lunch and taken a lunch break.

Really get to know the history, and have great interaction for adults and kids alike! The tornado exhibit is a must! If you miss it just ask for it as you will see what looks like "stuff" piled up but walk behind it and you go into a shelter. Press the button to begin the presentation and HANG ON!
There is an entry fee but well worth it.

It was alright. I think it kind of diminished what Native people went through by saying the buffalo were killed almost to extinction for land clearing. The buffalo were killed to starve the Indians and force them onto reservations, all for settlers to take their land. That part is important to remember.
While there is a lot of settlers' history in this museum, I did see a lot of Native art and beadwork and Geronimo's walking cane that he carved. I loved the black and white photographs, I think they're in the Tingley collection. The beadwork was also exquisite. I also learned about Maria Tallchief, the first Native American prima ballerina. I didn't know about her accomplishments and when I saw her black and white display, I was a little starstruck. My daughter and I are Native American, and she happens to love ballet so learning about Maria Tallchief was great.
The upstairs is dedicated almost entirely to kids, so I would say it's a very kid friendly museum. My 3 year old daughter loved the big Lite Briteon the wall, the sensory room with all sorts of things to climb and buttons to push and big foam blocks to play with. There were also some fossils you can touch in this museum and my daughter loved those too.
For my 3 year old daughter and I to visit, we paid $18 for the both of us to enter. I liked it well enough and would bring my daughter back.

The less travelled path of Oklahoma, a museum for all ages. With an extensive collection of Native American artifacts, each comes with informative description, or at least speculation, you can easily spend hours without realizing. In fact, the museum has acquired a lot of Native American merchandise from a shop that is already out of business. Furthermore, the exhibits related to the sorrow and sufferings of Native Americans due to forceful displacement are touching. Once scattered across the country, but was confined to a "reservation" known as the land of unorganized territory, the homes of Native Americans further shrank after allotment with the surplus open to settlement at the beginning of the 20th century. This is the sad history of Oklahoma.
Another aspect worth noting is that there are lots of interactive exhibits for children to enjoy, including a plastic bison from which younger visitors can learn about anatomy, and a mini archeological experience providing a glimpse of what uncovering artifacts is like. My niece didn't want to leave.

Large, modern, informative museum. See what it's like to be in a shelter as a tornado hits, explore the largest satellite map I've ever seen! Be sure to read the exhibits, many of them had multiple flip-throughs to read. I only docked one star because many of the outside exhibits were under construction (10/2023). An added bonus was the Prairie Dog colony that surrounded the museum. Hundreds of the little critters would bark their warnings at us if we got too close. They would duck for cover at about 50 feet. Cute!

We stayed in Lawton for the night and looked up what to do there. I found this museum, so we decided to check it out. I'm glad we did. The staff was wonderful. The museum was very informative. If you have children, there were a lot of fun interactive things for them to do. If you want to get a feel for what it was like as the great plains developed, then you should visit this museum. We only had 2 hours, you probably need to allow at least 4 hours, especially if you have children. We had my 94 year old mom with us, and she enjoyed it and was able to get around just fine.

What a great place, with all of the hands on activities your kids will love it. The tornado simulator maybe a bit much for younger children but as for the rest it's a must. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The souvenir store was a bit small and as a result it didn't offer much. Overall it's a place where learning is fun.
