Hands down, phenomenal. Took the ATV ride, perfect for mom is ADA. Beautiful countryside. Our tour guide, Steve, was the BEST. Intimate experience for wine and cheese tasting. Bonus art gallery. Ever employee was great at accommodating our needs. Incredible, highly recommend when visiting Napa

For a first class wine experience in the
Mt Veeder hills of Napa, Hess is the place. A
Very classy presentation with optional incredible food pairings. They also have most wine varietals, including an Albariño.

We did the ATV Vineyard Tour + Wine & Food Pairing. A bit pricey but we had a really good experience! Steve was a great tour guide. He drove us around and educated us on the grapes and the growing process. He answered a lot of our questions and then took us inside where we had some incredible food that was pair with some equally incredible wines.
We did four wineries during our stay in Napa and this one was our favorite!
John Mal — Google review
Steve was our tour guide. He was great! Very informative and made us feel comfortable asking questions. Beautiful tour and delicious wines!

My experience at Hess Persson Winery was nothing short of exceptional. Our tour guide, Michael, was an absolute gem. His passion for his job was palpable, and his explanations of the winemaking process and the identification of the various trees on the vineyard were enlightening. The wine itself was the highlight of our Napa weekend; in fact, it was the best we tasted throughout our numerous winery visits. The Hess experience truly stands out from the rest. The food pairings were thoughtfully curated and absolutely delicious, enhancing the tasting experience even further. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered wine to be shipped home, and I can't wait to join their wine club soon. Hess Persson Winery has set the bar high for wine tasting experiences in Napa Valley.

We tried to schedule a wine tasting online but they were all booked. I added us to the waitlist and hoped for the best. To my surprise, we got a phone call. They said they had an opening and it just happened to be at a time that worked for us. This winery is a little off the beaten path. There was plenty of parking and we were able to park right out front. We walked up to a hostess and she introduced us to our host who was standing beside her. It’s all appointment only, so I don’t recommend just showing up. We were surprised that all the tours are private right now because of Covid-19.
We started with a quick walk around the facility. If you are into art, there is an amazing art museum you can walk around after your tasting. Our tasting was outside and included a cheese pairing. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. I recommend signing up for a tasting.
Andrea Myers — Google review
Our #1 favorite tasting experience we’ve been to. Tucked away on Mount Veeder, you take a serene drive up to the estate. The grounds were gorgeous, the wine remarkable, and the gallery tasteful. Highly recommend.
Dominic Terrones — Google review
Wonderful experience! Steven was the perfect host, art guide, and wine expert for our group! We plan to return! Thank you!
M-J Junkin — Google review
Visited in January for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. Currently their tours are all private experiences for just your group. We were greeted with a Pinot Noir Rose before taking a tour of the cellar and barrel room where we got several pours of the Lion Tamer Cabernet Sauvignon. For the rest of our tasting, we were led upstairs to their art gallery. Unfortunately we ran out of time to look through most of the art but a more robust collection than what I was expecting. Our tasting consisted of the Lioness Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Celebration Cuvee. We also got to try their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon at the end. Our favorites were actually the Pinot rose and lion tamer cab at the beginning of the tour as well as the Malbec. Highly recommend a visit!
Michelle Barnes — Google review
Hess was by far one of our favorite experiences on our trip to Napa! Absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, the weather was too rainy for us to do the ATV tour, however, the tour and tasting was still amazing!
We had Cindy as our guide and she was the best- so kind, knowledgeable and fun!
I highly recommend Hess if you’re looking for the perfect combination of an experience (and beautiful art) in addition to delicious wine! The tasting is held inside of the art museum & is such a cool touch! We will definitely be returning next time we’re in Napa!
Kylie Stretch — Google review
Hands down the most beautiful winery we visited. From the personalized wine and cheese experience, to the eclectic art, to the fantastic scenery, it surpassed a five star rating. Our host Cindy was knowledgeable, personable, and a joy to spend time with. There is no doubt we will visit here again next time we are in the area.
Melissa Bennett Simeon — Google review
Well as most people would come here for their awesome wine, we came for their great art! The concept of combining wine tasting and art galleries is just brilliant. They have so many important art pieces and the space itself it’s breathtaking. It’s better to have reservations.
eva gartnerova — Google review
We ended our long weekend in Napa with a ATV tour of the estate, exquisite wine + food pairing, and visiting the art collection. Stunning location. Our guide Alex was knowledgeable and attentive. This is a don’t miss visit!
Denise N — Google review
Our time at Hess Persson Winery was a perfect blend of excitement and refinement. The staff especially our tour guide Edgar was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating especially when I learned I booked the tour for the wrong date. The ATV tour offered breathtaking vineyard views, setting the stage for a delightful grape tasting. The winery's charming setting added an extra layer of enjoyment. A sophisticated touch awaited us at the end—a cheese tasting in an art gallery. The flavors paired seamlessly with the wines, creating a memorable finale.
Brenda G — Google review
Hess was by far one of my favorites during our week in Napa. Great grounds, great staff, clean crisp wines. The wines were just great. Our guide Michael led us through the tasting and the tour of the grounds. The art is phenomenal and showcases the Hess Persson name and estate. The long family history and traditions are still carried forward into their wine making today. Well worth a visit.
Christian Petrarca — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit today, hosted by Michael. The private tour format was generous and we really enjoyed spending time looking at the extensive art collection followed by a tasting. Sitting amongst the impressive art while sampling wine has been a highlight of our trip to Napa. Beautiful setting and great hospitality.
Justin Ewins — Google review
We opted for the ATV experience with Steve and were lucky to have a perfect day of weather. Steve showed us the property and had so much knowledge of the business and culture surrounding wine. Our tasting afterwards in the gallery was perfect and Steve made for great company. 10/10 would recommend for the views, art, wine, and Steve!
Chandon winery, located in Yountville, California, is a popular destination for wine enthusiasts. The winery offers fantastic wines and friendly service with beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed all day long. Visitors can also explore the nearby vineyards and quaint town of Yountville. While some websites claim to offer free tastings at Chandon and other popular wineries, these claims are often false clickbait tactics aimed at increasing website traffic.
Well…that was fun. We arrived without reservations and they kindly accommodated. They were very busy, so it started a little slowly but we were lucky to have Kenny G. as our wine guide. He was awesome. He was funny, generous, gregarious, he was perfect. I would say that he made the experience except the wines themselves held up their end of the bargain. I’m not a huge bubbles guy but these wines are exquisite. They span the full spectrum of the sparkling wine experience and were dialed in and elegant. And the view on the patio was the ideal setting to enjoy these wines. If you’re into bubbles, this feels mandatory. If you’re not, be a good husband and let your wife have the time of her life. If you get Kenny G, you’ll both be rewarded.
Corry Manderson — Google review
This experience was first class. It is a bigger winery than many in Napa. However we were treated very personally and while we planned to just stay for an hour it ended up being two hours because we enjoyed our time, the service and the sparkling wine so much.
We did the Terroir tasting and that was perfect. The property is newly renovated and stunning.
Tyler McClung — Google review
This is the influencer winery due to their scenic property and contemporary tasting room. Was able to come here on a Monday during their Bubble Bar event, where their wines were served a la carte instead of a tasting. Reservations are required, as they did turn away plenty of people who were trying to walk in. Since the winery is owned by Moet & Chandon, the winery is known for their sparkling wine and I was not surprised that most of their product did taste like Dom Perignon. Everything was decent, but I would say the Mt Veeder sparking wines were better than the others.
Richard Fung — Google review
Most of the grounds were under construction while we visited, unfortunately. For a big house, I think this is what you would expect. Our wine guide was very nice, though. They had a vegan cashew cheese mushroom pizza that was so good! Though, they were out of the oysters for my partner, which was a bummer. Vibes were okay, sparkling wine was okay.
Lyndsey Campbell — Google review
Absolutely racist and nasty staff.
Right before my turn, he was serving some folks and we saw him chatting happily. Attitude changed 180 degrees when he had to serve us two asians. I asked if he could explain the drinks and what he recommends, he gives a one liner and says “it’s up to you.”
Probed again to ask to provide more details of the drinks, he gave a frustrated look and give a one liner. I wonder why is there such a difference in attitude?
Granted, scenery is beautiful but the staff whose name is Jesus, is just plain rude and takes away the joy of a supposedly beautiful experience.

Since I love champagne, I really wish I could have given this place 5 stars.
My bestie & I visited here in Sept and the weather was perfect for sitting outdoors, which was where the tasting was - and you don't have a choice. A little odd I would think, since you're paying for it.
We were treated to some small bites along with each tasting. The staff wasn't very friendly or personable. Lovely grounds but they didn't seem to flow smoothly, they were detached.
I did enjoy the time and the champagne. Of course the only restroom is in the retail store, lol. I bought a few bottles and found later I was charged twice, not too nice.
Add a little more charm and this place would be worth another visit, construction or not
Teresa Ramirez — Google review
Fantastic wines and very friendly service! You can’t beat the scenery. It is absolutely beautiful and I feel like I can spend all day here. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to relax and enjoy our wines and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s also near my favorite bakery (Bouchon). I can’t wait to go back again!

Chandon was an amazing experience!! Such a beautiful courtyard and facility. Part of it was closed to renovation and one of the pinnacle flight champagnes was out. Without asking they refunded half of our tasting fee. A great place to start or end your day in Napa. Thank you so much, Chandon!!
Bret Wallace — Google review
This was an absolute highlight for our trip to Napa! Very well priced options and the ability to just walk in and enjoy a few glasses with the view. Incredible quality and outlook. I could have gladly sat here all day!
Jordy manning — Google review
Our group wanted champagne so we included Chandon in our itinerary. For our visit, much of the building is under construction so we were outside. The grounds are nicely laid out and the bubbles are great! We are looking forward to when the work is complete so that we could have a more complete experience.

One of the best tastings I’ve had in wine country. I highly recommend the adventure tasting as it’s a “choose your own” option.
Service what phenomenal even for the last tasting of the day. No rush to leave and left with a great bottle purchase (packages beautifully).
Loved the light bite menu, especially the macarons.
Would highly recommend to all my friends!
Must-go in Napa for sparking!

A little mix up at the beginning with our large group was quickly resolved and we had a lovely time. Delicious food, great staff, and top notch ambiance. Would recommend and can’t wait to come back.

We got here later in the day. It's a good size beautiful winery. The service is very good and professional. The raw oysters were delicious! There was a open bar as well as the wine tasting bar. We had a wonderful experience. After wine tasting, we took a stroll around the back and took lots of pictures.
Nanhkeodonedi — Google review
Overall, it was a great experience. The Educator who led us through the tasting was incredibly knowledgeable. The tasting pours are very generous. You are also given “small bites” that pair with each glass.

They take walk ins on Monday and it was an amazing experience! We will be back
The excursion showcases picturesque vistas aboard an antique train carriage, a delectable four-course epicurean feast, and halts for wine tastings at three renowned wineries - Robert Mondavi Winery, Charles Krug (which is the oldest winery in Napa Valley), and V. Sattui.
This is a great winery experience in the Napa area. The wine and cheese selection is great and the waiting skills of the staff is very nice. Would definitely recommend this for a couple or with your friends.
Akshay Raje — Google review
The inclusion of winery-only selections in the tasting menu was a highlight, offering a unique opportunity to savor wines not available in retail. The host was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our understanding of the wines. The ambiance provided a relaxing and laid-back environment, allowing us to truly unwind.

I visited on April 25, 2023, did the Vineyard to Table three course luncheon - spectacular food and wine pairings, and the chef did a perfect job accommodating my vegetarian diet. The wine was outstanding, the pours were extremely generous, and the history and the winery are legendary. Highly recommend!
Jeanette Johnson — Google review
I have been coming here quite often in the past 15 years. Before Covid, they had many tour options but now are mainly focused on tasting. We had a corporate gathering and wanted a winery tour here, only option was the Vineyard to Table Lunch which included a tour. However, after we got there, I was told that the winery will be going under renovation and some parts of the winery like the aging room was closed off so the winery tour was reduced to minimal. We still had a great time despite the short tour. The lunch was presented way better than our expectations and everything was so fresh and delicious. Wines we had were also super good too.
Iceman Y — Google review
One of the most famous winery in Napa valley. Tasting was excellent. Wines were awesome and it was more pleasant thanks to our wine expert Vincent. Our family spent a wonderful time here! We bought 3 bottles of wines we've tasted and got 15% off. Thanks again for making a precious memory for our family.

Very impressed, one of the godfathers in Napa, the wine tasting with Vince giving us info re the wine and background on the vineyard was amazing. The setting was awesome, a beautiful day.

Must-go winery and never goes wrong! Their souvenir shop was wonderfully renovated during pandemic. I bought their wine opener(great quality with wooden box) as a gift for multiple times🎁

Gone are the days you can just pull up at a winery or tasting house without a reservation. We wanted to check out the grounds as we were early for another reserved tasting nearby. It’s beautiful and spacious. Though we were not able to go inside-the outside grounds were equally scenic and gorgeous
yai vongsaphay — Google review
I honestly had my reservations about going to a more mainstream winery, but I will say that Mondavi far exceeded my expectations. The wines were exceptional. Ask for “Red,” she was the perfect guide for our tasting flights!!!
Kaci Korn — Google review
Sadly, since it was bought by a new private equity company this is no longer the spot or wine club for us. I have been a wine club member for 6+ years and have fond memories here, but those are just memories now. Here's what happened: For wine club members, poor customer service... silently increased wine club prices by +50%... AND closed the on-site tastings due to renovations... no more concerts (Mondavi used to support the arts...it was a big part of their mission/vision for the property)...
Now, there seems to be a focus on profit over art and wine making. Making a tasting reservation is all-digital & cumbersome... There's never availability for members. Members used to be able to simply call ahead. No one is responding to customer service voicemails or emails. Asked to cancel my membership and they still charged my card anyway. This saddens me because this place has so much historic value & the sommeliers who serviced the establishment for YEARS were some of the BEST in Napa. Well informed, friendly, multi-lingual, etc. The new "establishment" fired everyone or drove them away. They're now charging my credit card automatically for wine bottles I never selected or purchased. The membership I selected was originally $250 every 3 months with free pickup for locals, now its $400+ with shipping. I now have to change my credit card numbers so they'll shop charging me. Yikes! Nothing about the new business model appeals to me as a long time member.
V. Sattui Winery is a renowned wedding venue and winery situated in Saint Helena, California, at the heart of Wine Country. The winery provides house wines that can be tasted in their tasting room or enjoyed with gourmet takeout on their expansive grassy grounds. With Dean and Deluca conveniently located nearby, visitors can enjoy snacking on tasty treats while sipping wine under the sun.
Did an impromptu picnic lunch and bought a bottle of wine, a sandwich, cheese and Crackers. Ate under the shaded picnic area. The weather was perfect! A very pleasant experience. I love their wines and a big selection of food. I Will definitely go back again and again.
Rica Carlos — Google review
I don't know what else to tell you except that I love V Sattui. Been coming here for over 20 years. They have a good store with gourmet goodies, cooked, cheeses, meets, breads, olives, etc. decently priced for the most part.
Perhaps buy a bottle of wine or three in the wine tasting room. Note it costs $45 per person per tasting. And you're going to have to make reservations because they're so busy. But you can of course buy without tasting.
Then take your goodies outside to their grounds where you'll find picnic tables and benches. Beautiful scenery and trees, lawns, and just pure joy.
It has really changed a lot over the past 20 years. They're catered to the picnic goer and out in so much more parking and seating.
They sell their standard wines as well as master class. It's really a great place to spend a few hours on a sunny weekend.

Went there two times and had great experience. All staff were nice and friendly. The environment is nice and pleasant. First time we went for wine tasting and second time we went for a picnic. Overall we all loved it. Definitely will be back and back again!

Last here ~41 years ago. Was just a counter offering baguettes, cheese and wine with open space to picnic.
Really developed, offering a wide selection of food and beverages in the deli building, wine related items and great service. Tons of picnic tables and now a beautiful venue for events. Highly popular and rightfully so!

Justin and Lorenzo were great at suggesting wines during our tasting. We were surprised how much we liked the Madeira. There was a barbecue food truck at the picnic grounds on the Saturday that we went. The grounds are beautiful!

Well reviewed vineyard that makes wine accessible to the masses. You can buy the wine, some cheese and other small bites then take them out to the yard and have a picnic under the trees. Staff are friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely place to be in spring and other months when the weather isn’t too hot.

Great wine tasting and selection at V. Sattui. Lots of people were here when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely make sure you have a reservation for a tasting. This place seemed very family friendly; we noticed a surprising amount of children here. Lots of parking available and is easy to navigate. Good variety of wines available here. V. Sattui will definitely have something everyone/anyone will like. Would recommend to families on vacation, couples that are just starting wine tastings and wine lovers alike.

Great wines! The person who assisted me was Carlo, he knew the wines to perfection. He asked me a couple of questions and he knew exactly which wines I would like. I enjoyed the place and almost all the wines except for the desert one, I didn't like it. I ended up tasting about 10 different wines and i was only supposed to taste 6 I believe. You also get two chocolates while wine tasting. The place has sandwiches which are make there while you look at it. The parking lot was full and it was free however I was told that you need reservations, which I already had but I thought you may like to know if you never been there. One can also get married here the place has a little area for the ceremony and reception. It has beautiful white roses, green grass, and it also has a patio area with benches where you can enjoy your sandwich and more wine of your choice. Some people were dress to impress I wear jeans, white t-shirt and sandals. 🤷🏾♀️ the bathrooms were clean, the place itself was clean. Enjoy and have fun!

V. Sattui is the place to go for anyone looking to hangout and have a good time! Not only do they have a wine tasting room, they also have a market and deli with a plethora of wine to choose from.
Food: They have a market and deli here with sandwiches/pastas and easy eats. They also have lots of cheese, wine, and cracker choices.
Atmosphere: I haven’t been to the wine tasting but I have family who went and thought it was enjoyable. I truly enjoy the outdoor seating with picnic tables under the trees. It is a beautiful and spacious area, however it does get crowded very easily as this place is incredible.
Price: Prices are normal for everything here because it’s Napa Valley prices but worth it for the vibes.
Parking: Parking can be tricky when it’s super busy but they have lots of parking to the side and back of the building. You don’t have to pay for parking.

Lovely winery, very relaxed with good options (deli & wine tasting). Good for first timers too :) you get to choose the 5 wines you taste from a list of over 12 wines - red, white & dessert wines. Best to make a reservation in advance.

This is one of the best wineries in the Napa Valley. The good part of this winery is they accept walk-ins. You have the option to buy wine from their store and drink in their common area even if you don’t have an appointment. Their winery tour do require appointment and would advise to get it in advance. The winery is really beautiful and plenty of seating and walking space. Their architecture is very good with plenty of parking space and overall we had a really good time.

We made a stop here whilst on our honeymoon road trip from SF to LA. We booked for the Bubble Bar tasting and it was incredible. The experience was lovely, the place was so beautiful and I must have a special mention to Denise, who works there on weekends. She truly went over and beyond to make our experience unique and incredible. Thank you so much. The bubbles were delicious, we had such a great time and even brought 2 bottles home with us!!

Guess what? They are kind and friendly here. Amazing deli, shaded tables, clean restrooms, and the most friendly staff… Your business is appreciated here, and it shows.💯 (Unlike the prior Winery I just reviewed that was the worst customer service I’ve ever received - and I’ve lived here 20years!) Thank you again for the great wine, deli, grounds and friendly staff.

We went with our friends, who are members, on Friday at 11:30 for wine tasting.
My recommendation is to get a reservation on Friday as early as possible before the place was crowded.
The grounds are fabulous! The wines are delicious. We ended up splitting a case with our friends.

Our wine dealer Julie is amazing. She told us a lot about the wines we tasted, the flavor profiles, and the history behind some of them! The wine is fantastic! We liked all of the ones we've tried. My favorite is the Madeira. The grounds are amazing, there's so much to look at! Great shaded areas to picnic from the cafe and drink wine. Highly recommend going here! The price was great for the quality.

We had a wonderful experience at V. Sattui. We did an outside, seated tasting with a cab upgrade. Not only was the tasting worth the price, we loved the venue and the expertise of the servers. The space was so welcoming and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had such a great experience wine tasting. Mike F was amazing, he listened to the type of wines I love, he made great recommendations. This was definitely a personalized experience and I can’t wait to come back! make sure you get there early (10am-10:30am), less people and you can find parking. It starts to get crowded around 11:30am and parking can be difficult.
Their indoor market it’s amazing: a variety of cheeses to choose from ❤️

Very nice gift shop. Deli food for sale inside including a huge variety of anything you might want for a charcuterie board or wine night. Beautiful outdoors area. Only drawback was you can't just buy a glass of wine. Either have to buy a whole bottle and drink it outdoors or purchase a tasting package at the entrance.
Florida Vacationeers — Google review
We were able to do tasting without making reservations. Carlo & Joe were great and we had a really nice time trying out the different wines they offer.
Heating available if you choose to do the tasting outdoor.
Surprised that their Madeira is really good. Kindly note that they only sell their wines here. So grab whatever you like while you are there. We were offered 10% on 6 bottles (able to mix)
They weren’t pushy on sales or the membership/club.
Overall we enjoyed our visit, had great time exploring the compound and dont skip the marketplace too as they have lots of treasures in there!

Came here with a group of 4 and what a fun experience!
Good:
- We got extra pours since we had 2 birthdays! Thanks Ed!
- Each wine was really good quality and I liked the dessert wines a lot
- It’s very pretty inside, there’s a fountain and the inside of the tasting room is well lit too
- Price isn’t crazy per person either
Bad:
- A little busy so it might take time for you get served!
Overall super happy with the trip and getting to try out all of the different types of wine.

V Sattui was such a lovely experience for my wife, baby and I. There was lots of sitting spots in the back and in the front picnic areas. The deli is not crazy expensive and you get really good stuff. You can definitely tell ingredients are high quality. We arrived around 12:30ish on a Friday and it was already busy, so definitely our next visit will be earlier! Try the Spicy Italian sandwich 🥪 it was so goooood!

My most favorite winery so far. The experience was wonderful, the wines outstanding and the service is OMG I have no words. Alicia has so much knowledge and her carisma makes everything special. You sit outside and the view is amazing. They have a market where you can find delicacies, souvenirs, wines and more.

Very nice winery. Oscar explained the history and assisted in our wine tasting. We purchased wine, bread, olive oils, and cheese. Took nice pictures. The property is amazing and great for weddings and grippy events. The staff I interacted with was Julianna, Oscar, and the cashier, who was not very pleasant after it advised her that she overcharged me for bread, had an attitude, and questioned my request. Unprofessional!
Parking was adequate.
Beringer Vineyards is a Napa Valley winery with stunning landscaping and historic architecture. It offers a variety of tasting experiences, including reserve tastings in the beautiful Rhine House. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are accepted.
Enjoyed a tasting in the Rhine House Salon - what a beautiful house. I could have spent the afternoon exploring this house. Jose was a great host and we opted for a nice bottle to take home and enjoy over the holidays with family. It was a rainy Monday afternoon so we had the grounds to ourselves. We explored the caves and really enjoyed taking our time and appreciated the holiday decorations throughout- very cool.

Beringer wine tasting is different from most of the other wineries in the area. Usually, at other wineries, they sit you down and walk you through all the different wines (usually 3 or more) that you taste and talk about the history of the vineyard and climate and all but at Beringer, they give you one glass of wine and then you can roam around the premises and explore the area on your own. We got to pick one wine from the 4 wine options we had - white wine, rosé, pinot noir, and cabrenet sauvignon. When you walk around the premises, you can scan bar codes at different areas and learn about the history of the place. There wasn't much to explore. The main big house has wine tasting rooms inside, but those, I believe, are reserved for members. You can still go in and explore. They didn't have any charcuterie options except the two charcuterie board assortment we found in the gift shop in the refrigerator.
The staff at the gift shop wasn't the most friendly.
We went on a weekday so it wasn't busy. There is plenty of seating including some picnic style tables for big groups.

We visited here on a recommendation for a veranda tasting and it was simply wonderful. From the moment we checked in we were greeted warmly and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We explained it was our honeymoon and my the time we were seated (after a lovely stroll through the property’s gardens) there was a card on our table congratulating us! The wines were absolutely delicious and explained brilliantly. The accompanying cheeseboard is a must to include and getting to take the physical board with you as a souvenir is a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our time here and can see why it’s constantly winning awards due to the beauty of the property, the knowledge of the team and their outstanding customer service!

Stumbled upon this winery while we were in between other winery visits and I’m so happy about it. SUCH a warm welcome from when we step foot on the property. We did the $20 self tour and I highly recommend it. The property is plenty big and lots to see. Would love to come back and do a tasting/guided tour next time.

Very impressive vineyard and winery, beautiful setting, but somewhat disappointing tasting. I found Napa in general to be more industrialized, touristy, and snobby. All these apply to the experience in Beringer. The tour and tasting are overpriced and not very informative. The wines are definitely overpriced. We tasted white and rose while touring and a couple of reds at the shop, it felt very rushed and impersonal. Unless you buy an overpriced bottle, nobody really cares about you.

The cave tour at Beringer Vineyards is truly exceptional. The team at the entrance is incredibly welcoming and goes the extra mile by remembering visitors' names, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The tour itself is outstanding, and the presence of the winery makes it a truly perfect outing.

I would stop here just for one glass of wine and to roam the gardens and check out the house. It’s more about the view. The house is really cool! Reminds me of maybe a haunted place that should be in a movie. We read on a blog that if you had a military ID you got a free glass of wine, but when we got there, they said that that was not true, but they honored it for us when I showed them what I had read on a Napa Valley website. So that was very nice! When you walk up and through the back garden, there’s another tasting room in the back, and then you can walk all the way over to the house through the gardens which is cool. Don’t forget to take your videos and photos!

First time in Napa , and is was one of my favorite vineyards. The experience with Jesus out tour guide was amazing . He taught a lot of wine and how each pair of food and our pallets affect each wine . The castle tour was amazing indescribable just breath taking . It’s a must to visit ! We will be back again in spring

This a great Winery stop for someone's first time in Napa Valley. You can choose to do a self-guided tour and scan QR codes along the way to learn more about their history and get glass of wine with it.

One of the big 3 early vineyards in Napa 150ish years ago, Beringer has witnessed and influenced the growth of the local winemaking industry. A ton of history at this vineyard with gorgeous architecture and delicious wines. We were lucky to have Jose lead us through the winery. He has deep knowledge of the local history and the nuances of different varietals and vintages. A must see to understand the area and appreciate the craft.

I'm a Napa fan for the cool scenery and vineyards more so than the tasting, and Beringer is my favorite destination for their wine tours. Really cool to get to wander through their wine caves which are built right into the hillside. Both their gift shops are an attraction unto themselves, especially within the historic architecture. This is always a main attraction when I visit the area.

Good place for beginner wine tasting. The vineyard is definitely small in size compared to other vineyards in Napa. The main attraction is just the main building, the cellar, and a small field of grapes. We did the taste of beringer tasting. The tour starts in the visitor center, then to the sensory garden, the to the building for tasting. Each wine had its unique flavor, paired with food, provides a food intro to wines in general.

Beautiful grounds and establishment. Grounds are incredible, people were nice and greeted us upon arrival. Did the Tour and Tasting. Very informative on history of the family and the valley. Wines were good. Visited the Mansion while there. Told we could check out the first floor. Disappointed they turn it from a house to a gift shop. Would have liked to see it how it was when they lived there. That was only thing I was disappointed in.

Wonderful tasting and charcuterie board with tour was the best time ever! Thanks to Lisa Laidlaw for setting it up and joining us as we enjoyed all the tasty wines, food and company.
Hanna's service was extraordinary and above and beyond. The tour given by Logan was informative, entertaining and filled with tidbits of interesting and obscure facts that kept us enjoying the tour the entire time.
Sierra came by to make sure we were well taken care of and we were! Thanks, hope to return again

This is one of the best vineyards and would highly recommend them for wine tasting and touring. We did their cave tour and it was out of the world exceptional. Would highly recommend having a reservation. We got delayed due to traffic and called them ahead of time and they were able to accommodate us well for our tour. Their cave tour includes three wine tastings. They do have an option of just touring the caves for non-drinkers. Their estate is one of the best for strolling around and grabbing wine from their store and relax with your sips. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking spots available as well. The vineyard has a long German history which was well explained by our host for the cave tour. Overall a fun experience and one of the best vineyards in Napa.

The people working here are Awsome! No problem taking care of transactions with a smile, even with the craziest of people! On the other hand, there was an employee of the casino who was behind me in line for fuel. She passed me and took the pump I was waiting for. I told her I was in line before her. She said “Ok I’ll move” then under her breath she said “after I pump my gas”. This is very non respectful of your patrons. Our farm buys A lot of diesel from you. Amazing experience, amazing people! The energy was very similar to how I felt at summer camp as a kid. It gave a lot of "unapologetically ecstatic to learn" vibes.
We held the Screech Owl, the smallest one, got to feed it chopped mouse, and then got a photo opportunity. They made sure everyone (9 total people) got a chance to hold, pet, and get photos.
10/10 suggest everyone goes.

An amazing, one-of-a-kind experience. Even with the 2+ hour drive to get there from SF, and the considerable price tag, it was well worth it.
They offer all kinds of experiences with the various types of raptors, and we opted for a private hawk walk (it's possible to choose 2 out of: hawks, falcons, and owls, and I reckon some would enjoy the variety, but we really wanted to focus on getting to know one bird and the hawk sounded like the most interactive one).
After an extensive and informative introduction about the history of falconry, the types of birds they have, their habits and characteristics, we (my fiancee, the 2 falconers, and myself) went out to the wooded area behind the farm with a hawk named Mariposa. We learned the proper way to call her to our glove, and throughout the experience could more or less go where we wanted, call her, walk around with her for a bit, and then have her take off to perch as she pleased. There were also a few specific "tricks" we got to do with her and all kinds of photo ops, but to me the best part was probably just casually strolling around with a bird of prey on my arm.
It's something my fiance had dreamt of doing since she was a kid, and she came out feeling her expectations had been more than met.
We'd seen falconers at Renaissance Faires and such, but getting to actually interact with them is something different altogether. Something more people should definitely get to experience.

This was an amazing face to face experience with hawks, falcons and owls. Seeing them up close and handling was a magical experience. They are very knowledgeable about the animals and actually use them for hunting. We saw little training toys they use and how these birds of prey are trained to hunt with their human partner. Of course taught to call birds to yourself with guidance and even walk down a trail with hawk Isla on your arm! Overall would go again and take different family with me to experience this as well.

We had a fantastic morning with Kate, Amber, and Morgan leading us on the falconry & hawking adventure of our dreams! It is such a unique experience to get so close to the birds - falcons, hawks, owls, vultures - and to see them fly free. The interaction that they can provide with their licensing, training, knowledge and location is amazing! I would recommend this to anyone - those who know they would love to know more about these birds and those who've never thought about it at all. I hope we get the chance to go back again. Thanks so much for the best day!

West Coast Falconry is an incredible business! I've done several of their classes and absolutely loved every single one. The birds are spectacular and Kate and her staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoy them so much that I wanted to include them in our wedding. A falcon was included as part of our ceremony was truly beautiful. Kate and Leah stayed after the ceremony with a Eurasion owl and a falcon for the guests to interact with and get photos with. It was an absolute highlight of our four-day wedding event! I can recommend West Coast Falconry without hesitation!

I was taking my friends home from Sacramento and decided to pop in for a little while and had a good time while I was there. I ended staying about 3 or 4 hours. A bit more than popping in for a little while. But I'm not complaining in the least. I'm sure that I'll be back when I'm in the area again. Hopefully it won't be too long from now.

The customer service has really gone down since the start of covid, on the casino floor and the restaurant lots of employees in the restaurant and floor but not service foo customer. In the restaurant they don't take pride in quest service. Literally there will by 5 people that will all look at you and not even Greet you and keep going about the their business. As a former CS Manager, someone should always say hello and that someone will be right with you. I just went to Jacks for a date night last week and ordered the Ramon noodle bowl, The prices had really gone up plus they charged a $9 upcharge for chicken. When my meal arrived it literally had 2 bites of chicken so at almost $25 buck combined I sent it back. The manager came to do PR work and basically held his ground on everything being weighed. No attempt to listen just to bark back. He did ask if I wanted to order anything else. After waiting so long I kindly said no thanks so needless to say no dinner on date night. We really miss the old environment with the hospitality and the buffet

We stopped by to see if they still had a poker room since we'd driven to Baxter for a gig. No poker room :( Last time I'd been there was on the way back from Fort Bragg, moons ago. My friend, it was his 1st time. I was impressed how well kept up its been, clean, nice! Better than all of Reno and a lot of Vegas. I only interacted with staff at the Starbucks and she earned a tip, well done! I used the kiosk and easily obtained a replacement players card from literally 4 or 5 years ago! Maybe more. My friend, his 1st card and he sported $20 in free play to begin. He thanked me for the suggestion as he turned that into a tidy little profit for the night. They even had a few, very few older low volitity machines. Hard Rock has NONE. I gave back as much as he won, so a wash for the casino. I can't talk about the food but I plan to return and be able to give you an idea of how good or bad it is at that time. I would definitely recommend going and trying them out!

The grounds are clean... The place just smells clean. It's the epitome of what a casino should look like. I do feel like that beauty comes with a cost. It's a very beautiful casino, and it seems busy enough so they could change the winning ratio higher. I was here for 8 hours and I never heard one person to get a hand pay or jackpot bell ringer. That's a long time on Friday night with just giving.
The people that work here are so friendly. It makes me not want to complain about the fact that no one was winning. The people is what makes this place a four star. I would come here and just stay in the resort... And not gamble at all. It's really nice.

Oh and they have a free shuttle from the back lot to take you to the casino!

Smaller casino with a well-done country rustic theme. Lots of different game types to gamble on. However I've never seen anyone really win a decent amount unless playing with very large bets. If you're willing to spend that kind of money, your chances are pretty good but I wouldn't recommend stopping through for a quick visit with little money.

They offer great incentive to new members. Their milkshakes are awesome! The staff is super-friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. They have a decent app. This has been one of my favorite casinos to visit. I grew up in Reno, NV and travel full time. I dig the vibes here.

A group of us reserved rooms, guaranteed with credit card, through their website for April. This past week the hotel called us and said that our rooms were cancelled due to they needed the rooms for another event. Been traveling for decades and this is a first. She apologized and said there was nothing more she could do. I asked to talk to her manager. I was forwarded to the manager's voice mail. Today, three days later, someone calls (not the manager) and apologizes saying there is nothing she can do and that was the casino decision. Unbelievable...

Feather Falls Casino & Lodge is a comprehensive entertainment destination that offers a wide range of gaming options, dining choices including a buffet and brewpub, live performances, and comfortable accommodations. It stands out as a unique bar where one can enjoy without encountering the numerous acquaintances of someone's mother or individuals associated with certain social groups. Although there may be occasional encounters, it appears to be less frequent than elsewhere. The bartenders are friendly, serving reasonably priced drinks.

I went for New Years Eve and had a great time. We ate at the Brewery and was disappointed with the Surf and Turf was less then desirable. They give away a lot of free play money there that gets you in the door so you can lose your pay check! Make sure you get something from the snack bar before you lose your money that's the best thing at this casino snack bar. If yours person of color HIGHLY recommend you gamble you will win! I see it all the time! But if your using your players club card and you have a "Caucasian" Name good luck! Don't use your card it's racist! You won't win! If I ever win its because I wasn't using my card. Or the machine had a card already in it that belonged to Jose or Vang.

The drinks aren't overpriced. I don't gamble, but the times I have watched other people gamble, it's hard to get some soda. Kinda lame. The food is good. We stayed overnight, it was one time of many stays by me personally.
I'm divorced now, but me and my husband had stayed in the lodge several times, enjoying the less smoke smelling rooms compared to the gold counter rooms. The fireplace in the lobby and the aesthetic of this lodge is more classy and impressive than gold country, it's local competitor.
The food at the restaurant downstairs in the casino was delicious, although the tables and dining room felt more buffer type decor, and I prefer a more aestheticly appealing look!
But the food and service was great!

I like that they have semi protected parking.
We would totally go back for a night!
Also like that you can access the casino from the Lodge. Easy peasy walk and you don’t get wet when it’s raining.
The casino has a fairly large smoke free section, which I appreciate. It’s great. It’s mainly slots, with some black Jack tables. The slots are fun, a tad loud on some, but still fun. I like they have a snack bar that serves hot dogs, sandwiches, and coffee, etc.

The buffet is good with good foods and flavors. Serving prime rib, shrimp, salmon, with small stir-fry and dessert stations on Saturday night. Cost around $26 is a cheap price for all that good delicious food. Well worth the drive.

Feather Falls Casino and Lodge is a hidden away retreat. Enjoy, scrumptious foods, breath taking views with tranquility beyond imagination . Keep your pocketbook in check or you'll loose your socks. Electronic gaming devices are ' controlled ' , just like the remote for our television's. Sad part is there remotes are all set to Loose.

We love to go to this buffet because there are so many choices and the food choices are always great and they have prime on Fridays. They have so many choices they make different choices every day. The staff is so attentive to us and the customers. The keep checking back with you to see if need anything. They are very friendly. They treat you like Family.

rooms are clean and comfortable nothing extraordinary casino staff not so friendly especially in the food area not exactly the welcome mat for outsiders, some people just don't know how to earn a tip I'm not even sure if they get tips but I mean I think they do. And this most definitely is a local casino as you can tell by the staff and how they treat people they don't know or haven't seen I've been there a couple of times probably once or twice a month never have really had a excellent experience there

It's a decent casino, pretty typical for NorCal. They have a good amount of slot machines and a large non-smoking section. They also have a decent number of tables that appear to stay open all night as long as someone wants to play.
They also have full amenities as far as: Restaurants, Bar, Hotel, Pool, Spa, campground, tobacco shop etc....

Just minutes from downtown Oroville. Affordable for contractors servicing the local economy. Beware of weekend room rates.

The Feather Falls Brewing company restaurant is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and have the clam chowder!

Went here for news years eve dinner. 50 bucks per person. 20 minute wait. We had prime rib, crab clay. Slice of lamb and battered shrimp. Mash potatoes were fabulous. Hubby had 2 cups of new England clam chowder. It was like ham and bean with clam. Honest it was okay. The main dishes were delicious. We ended dinner with expertly made flan. Rich. I highly recommend dream catcher buffet.

This by far is the worst casino I have ever been to in my entire life. And I'm not just another bitter guy who lost all his money gambling and can't take responsibility for my actions. I don't gamble that often and I didn't lose all my money simply because a Feather Falls you don't win anything I've never won one thing and when I say when I mean like 20 cents I mean I have never won one penny from this horrible casino. It would be understandable if this was my first time and I just wasn't lucky because that's understandable. But I have gone to this place at least 10 times and I've still have never earned $0.01 or more. And to top it all off the staff have terrible customer service. I know I look young but I swear to God I am id'd every 2 minutes at this place. I mean that's just excessive and a lot of the times they're still skeptical even though my ideas in perfect condition. All in all every time I've gone to Feather Falls I've regretted it and you will too. I suggest you go to Gold Country there are a million times better!
Modern rooms & suites in a casino hotel with restaurants & bars, plus bowling & live entertainment.
They have upgraded the casino and are keeping it very sanitized. The two restaurants I used the food was good, a bit on the expensive side though. The staff throughout the casino were attentive and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms have been upgraded. They seem to have a nice 2 night monthly special with extra goodies, which helps to bring the cost of the room to a more reasonable rate. Very nice gift shop. Overall, a good 2 night's stay and don't forget to ask for your little, yellow rubber ducky!! :-)

Fun place to visit. The casino features lots of games and good promotions. Gold Country has arguably the nicest hotel rooms in Butte County, comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms with huge bathrooms and fabulous jetted tubs. Guest laundry is a huge plus. Beautiful pool area with hot tub. RV Park is great for a more laid back experience, with top notch amenities, like gorgeous bathroom and shower facilities, clean and reasonably priced guest laundry, and well kept grounds with pull through sites and full hookups.

I love the idea next door, that’s why location is good. Lost a ton of money there.
Machines are tight. Concert venues PA system sucks balls. Worst sound in a big room I’ve ever heard. Not a thing above 8khz, and almost no subs. Sounded like an Am radio.

We love our newly found Oroville Hotel and Casino gem! We love flying in from Las Vegas to "Stay-Cation" here. You'll never meet a more hospitable employee team! These folks are fantastic 🤩. From the check in desk, to the cashier cage, servers, they all "get" good customer service and deliver. The Casino Host desk is like no other. These folks really are genuinely trying to make your stay amazing. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious. Love. This. Place.

Well I do wish the restaurants were all open more often and I was there for Valentines day. Other then that I had an amazing time and the people were very polite. Great bar tenders. The room was big and very nice, enjoyed their suite. I wish I could of stood longer to see what they got. Next time I would like to go to their bowling alley

I went to a concert with my friend the staff was A1!!! We had to go to WILL Call … and then the staff member went to the back got the manager and came back … obviously some company was selling scam tickets online … no worries they saw what he had paid and row they WALKED us to our seats and told us to enjoy the show and really apologized for what happened. They could of said your out of luck as it was pretty full concert. I will never forget the kindness you shown since my friend is elderly and not savvy about where to purchase tickets … thanks you for all WILL CALL and security staff working Saturday night. Please anyone use reputable company (I use evenbrite for my events) for obtaining tickets for any event… thanks again I enjoy your casino❤️

Gambling is not only fun here but they also offer many rewards for doing so. Like stays in their luxury hotel, dining rewards and free play.
The Hotel is amazing extremely clean rooms very large with jetted tubs in walk-in showers. And a separate toilet room. There aren't a lot of dining choices but the choices they do have serve amazing food with amazing staff. The Acorn cafe is our favorite to do even with kids. Our waiter Jamal was absolutely amazing and attentive to my children their food arrived quickly and exactly how they asked for it. Couldn't have had better service.

Stayed in a double deluxe queen room and it is so beautiful and spacious! Customer service was great! The supervisor lady up at the front desk is amazing too, she explained everything very well to me and even helped on a transaction where I was over charged. All the staff in this casino/hotel are amazing and well trained in customer service!

Rooms are beautiful. I got a comp room and I was honestly expecting the very minimal, basic room. I got just the opposite. A BEAUTIFUL room with a huge spa bathtub. It was gorgeous. The service is wonderful. But the best part is Desi, Jerrod & Martha at the lower bar! Love coming here Saturday nights with my mama and enjoying the company of the bartenders. You guys are awesome!

Avoid this place of you want to have good time with a big group of friends or maybe is just being Asian. Two beer and you are cut off. Asked to speak to supervisor and he said because he can(Gene). I have been mistreated from this establishment before but I thought we would give them another shot but nothing change. I actually feel bad for the people who owns the casino because of the people they have running the place. The waitress are worst than ever no customer skill whatsoever. whoever is running that department needed to be fire and replaced Immediately. We were at the bar and they have 5 employees three standing and only two serving drinks. They were pretty busy with many customers waiting for their drink. Whoever is running that place is not a good leader. Definitely not a good place to have a good time….that’s place is filled with bunch of tweeters.

Just came back from the short trip. Traveled with husband and child. I've read a lot of reviews about strong smoke smell on the casino floor. But it wasn't bad at all, compare to other casinos. Room was amazing, clean and spacious. Bathroom is gorgeous with large bathtub. Everything is well maintained and clean. We liked the pool too. It is located behind the gas station so there is a little bit of walking from the hotel. Pool is large and clean. I've also read that slots are not loose. But we managed to win some money and overall enjoyed the play time. They have free fountain drinks with a self service on the casino floor. Food at Acorn was really good. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast the next morning there.

We stayed at the RV Campground nearby (excellent place to stay) so I couldn't speak about the rooms. The casino seemed nice and clean. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. The gambling really sucked. I play multi keno, and the minimum bet is $1 as opposed to the max bet in Nevada is 80 cents. I won a little and then donated. Everyone else with me had the same experience.

It's clean, the staff is friendly, and although I've only played here a few times, I've never done well at the slots here. From the cleanliness and decor in the casino, I'd bet the rooms are also pretty nice.
Ami Beauchman — Google review
You can spend thousands here but never win. They take your money so fast you can't even enjoy playing on the slots. The rooms are great but if you get mascara on a towel they will try to charge you $75.00. This is hands down one of the worst casinos ever.
Jeanine Younger — Google review
This casino must have read my old review and fixed their issue with not having any roulette, now there is a game table with a dealer..... And there are approximately four game Kings that have roulette as one of the game options :-) they got their five-star rating back at this casino, although I do wish they had some straws for their soda machine or at least the coffee.. it's very good coffee and tastes great, but it's exactly how I want it.. just a bit too hot to enjoy without a straw..
The hotel rooms are very clean and well maintained. The hotel staff is superb - they hired the right people at this one.. it has a good single floor layout for being a smaller casino (hotel rooms are on the second floor and up)
, and their restaurant is awesome.. they have a cigarette store within walking distance with a gas station also on premises.. and their security everywhere - I feel very safe at this casino (considering the town it is in)

We had a blast doing the Still the One tour. The group was relatively smaller and led by a knowledgeable tour guide. We received a few beers on the tour, got an inside look at the rest of the brewery, and learned a lot! Our favorite part was drinking straight out of the tap with fresh beer only brewed about 3 days ago. We’ve done the local tour here but this is definitely worth the $25 walking away with a crowler, goodie bag, and a ride on the Time Machine!

Amazing free tour and great samples. Their Beer Geek tour is even better. On that tour, they take you into the real depths of the brewery and let you sample small batch beer right from the fermenter. They even give you a special Beer Geek growler and tshirt at the end. It takes around 3 hours and costs $50.

My favorite place to go in Chico but menu changes are not great. Sierra salad was my go-to and now they have a $14 balsamic salad with whole cherry tomatoes covered in dressing that you couldn't eat because they were slippery. At least cut the tomatoes in half so they can be stabbed with a fork. Candied almonds not as good as candied pecans and a TON of bleu cheese. For $14 you get spring mix, grated carrots, slippery tomatoes, and a glob of bleu cheese. No bread and balsamic anymore which would have saved the day. Please I implore you to reconsider your menu!! This is my third time back and maybe last (for food) since reopening and I’ve been so disappointed. The service and wonderful people that they hire are the godsend.

Bidwell Mansion | State Historic Park is a stunning estate located in an Italianate Victorian mansion that was previously owned by John and Annie Bidwell. The park encompasses both the beautiful mansion and its surrounding grounds which are perfect for wandering around. Although the house museum itself is closed most days, visitors can check the schedule before visiting to ensure it's open. This fun-filled park is adjacent to a school and touring the mansion with a guide provides immense interest due to its historical background.
Beautiful historic mansion built by John Bidwell, one of the founding fathers of California. Tours and gift shop are decently priced. You can tour the grounds for free as well. Great for family and all ages!

Such a beautiful park with tons of shaded areas and space for the family. During the summer they have lifeguards. This is a review for the amphitheater only:
Extremely impressed! I go to around 25-30 shows a year and have been to literally 100s of venues. I know this is the first year of operation for this amphitheater and I know there is some kinks they'll work out. However overall it was VERY well done.
The sound system here is obviously brand new, and is very high end. It sounds incredible for the size of this venue, and the owners did not skimp on building it.
The security staff was impeccable! They did a amazing job of keeping people out of the isle and from standing at the gates in front of crowd blocking paying front row ticket holders views( this is a major issue at many places) they staff was friendly and did a good job of discerning between people blatantly breaking rules and people respectfully have a good time.
The only issue here is parking and traffic control.
The parking could potentially be fine with some or ANY parking control people on staff. There was literally not a single person directing traffic in or out. The did not close lanes or make one way traffic to flow the crowd out or in. People were moving and breaking barricades and blocking others. The walk from the rear parking lot is over 1/4 mile from the entrance and dirt.

Needed a pet-friendly room on short notice. Reservations were made quickly and easily with Bonnie by phone, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the property.
Arriving very road weary, Jerry was patient and understanding, made check-in easy, plus he offered a special treat for our small canine traveling companion.
Our room was clean, modern, and honestly nicer than I expected.
Brewery had a nice on-site brewed cold beer ready for me, and the kitchen made a surprisingly decent Cobb salad.
We are very pleased overall and will definitely stay here again.

It's my favorite casino on the western half of the US. Plenty of restaurant options, all of which are great. Customer service is always great. Drinks aren't horribly expensive. The win / loss ratio is very good. Rooms are great ( north tower ). Overall, must stop if traveling I5.

Attended a private party at Rock n brew in the back room. Great space. The wait staff was wonderful. The bartender was great when we asked for big beers with olives. I highly recommend the restaurant.
We were here on a Saturday night, and they had a great DJ at the main bar on the casino floor. I danced and had a wonderful time.
Later in the night, however, my husband did not have a good experience. Someone bumped him at the bar and spilled a bit of his drink on the floor. After setting the drinks down, he saw a staff member with a rag wiping the bar. He touched his elbow so as not to startle him by coming up behind him. He told the guy about the spill to be helpful so no one would slip and get hurt. The staff member instead yells at my husband not to touch him and walks away. The bartender who witnessed this apologized and asked if he wanted to speak to the supervisor. He did, and after waiting a long time for him to show up, he explained the situation and showed him the spill. The supervisors response was to tell my husband not to touch his employees. My husband was dumbstruck. The supervisor walked away. Patrons sitting nearby asked if my husband was okay because he was just standing there wondering what the heck he did wrong. They stated that they watched the whole thing and he didn't do anything to deserve to be treated like that. And guess what? No one ever cleaned up the spill.

So. This review is most for the Amphitheater and their security for the great white/ slaughter concert.. security was a joke!! Wouldn't let the paying customers sit under the cool down misters to actually cool down. But instead kept kicking them away from them, and just walked under them as their own way of power or some sh×t!! My family and i have had many great concerts there, but after this horrible experience, and especially in an extreme heat wave that we had. Unfortunately, we will not be going back! Ever!

Talk about a 5star experience. This place actually FEELS like a Vegas casino now since the remodel and update. Every employee I have come into contact with seems to have costumer satisfaction as their #1top priority. .... And the concert venue?!!??!!! Absolutely LOVE it. Their selection of machines to play and food to eat is an experience in itself that I highly recommend, and if u can stay in one of the hotels, I recommend that also. If your a golfer, U will NOT be disappointed in this challenging yet user friendly course just Make sure u bring LOTS of sunscreen as there isn't much shade!!! Their EQUESTRIAN CENTER hosts all kinds of horse events/classes And last but not least be sure u fill up on gas before u leave the casino as their gas is the CHEAPEST around for hundreds.... Yes, HUNDREDS of miles!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our check-in, with Gerry, was a positive experience. He recommended some great menu choices at the restaurant in the casino, and he had a great demeanour!!
The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet and have a fridge and microwave.
We played some slots in the casino and had a wonderful dinner at the rock and brew restaurant.
The only negative was the lack of parking around the south tower, and the grouchy front desk girl, at the travel center in the morning.
We would definitely be back and highly recommend this Resort.

Main entertainment attraction in the area I visited. Newer slot machines, video craps and roulette, 5 active card tables (last time visiting at around 11pm), multiple eateries inside and live entertainment (as scheduled). Rolling Hills would be the best casino in California's northstate IF they had a poker room.. I understand Poker doesn't bring in a large sum of money but it would bring in many people who would hit the main floor before or after playing a tournament. Overall great atmosphere (they aggressively clean the air so it's not too smoky) lots of slots, I think 3 bars in total so drinks are never far away. Fast dining options plus a sit down steakhouse that is sound proofed from the noises of the floor. I greatly enjoy Rolling Hills and It would be my #1 place to gamble IF that poker room existed.

A good sized modern Native American California Casino that's well lit, unlike many other versions that I have seen. It has many different slot machines available, for the gambling type, so you'll have a chance to pick your poison, so to speak. Additionally, they have a few different food options that are priced similar to other non-casino restaurants. Additionally, they offer a gas and diesel filling station on the South side of their property that has about 8 pumps, so it can get crowded fast. The good news is the fuel cost is usually a little less than other gas stations near by.

Rolling Hills Casino truly is the friendliest casino, just like they advertise on their billboards along the 5 freeway. 10/10 would recommend, the staff always delivers top-notch customer service every time we visit. All the employees are great but a few of my personal favorites that I feel should be acknowledged are Josh and Justin at the bar with all the whiskey. They both make a mean old-fashioned and at the front of the house, the best casino host award goes to Michael Gonsalez, he is always attentive and greets both my husband and me, with a great smile. We have been to the concert area and the comedy show, needless to say, we had the best time each time. My husband also played at the golf course and took some friends over, they loved it. Thank you Rolling Hills for making our weekends fun and exciting!!
P.S
I will be bringing my family and friends over whenever they come to visit to experience Rolling Hills as well💵🔥
Additional info: on the south side, they have diesel and regular fuel(diesel a few cents than at a regular gas station). They also have eletric chargers on the back north side, they are a little hidden but they are there. If you have a Tesla u will need your adaptor to charge FYI.

This was the main reason I stopped in corning, needless to say if you love olives this is the place to be. I love the different variety of Olives that you simply won't find in a normal grocery store, the dry black olives, the jalapeno cream cheese stuffed olive, etc. Also the cafe is great, try the mufeta Olive sandwich, and an olive oil milkshake.

More olives than you can shake a stick at. And pickles. And more olives. And tapenades. And olives. Sure, there's also a restaurant here that has burgers and shakes (without olives). But they also have a LOT of olives.
I bought three jars of olives, one jar of hot/spicy olive oil and one jar of "hot" cauliflower. All were nicely wrapped and survived the 3000 miles from here to home. Delicious.
Yes, there are olives available for tasting. You want to try "Texas Hot Chili" olives or "Blue Cheese Stuffed" olives? Yep, that's available.

We were impressed, so if we ever drive to California from our home in Oregon we make sure we stop, but sometimes you are not open, or you can’t wait for someone to be traveling in that direction, you can always order online. The shipping is fast and reasonable as well.

They seem to have quite the selection of a lot of things (wine, pasta, spices, olives, some beer, dried fruit and candy)in this place which is super cool but what stood out to me the most is the selection of local honey! I bought some wild flower honey, it's delicious. I will be going back to get more things🤌
They do have a little restaurant on the other side of the store, food was okay. We did get great customer service though.

This place is AWESOME! I'm not a roadside attraction type of person normally. But this place has got me twice now in the last 6 months. This time I spent over $100, and it's totally worth every penny. I didn't eat at the deli last time, but after eating their olives, I knew the sandwiches had to be great. After I finished my sandwich, my mouth kept watering, wishing for more... great job.

With many different stuffed olives and olive oils and other things. A great place to get olives of many types plus the tasting bar is a great way to sample some of the different types n flavors of stuffed olives. Plus there's a small restaurant and wines. A must see place on I-5. And you can order online $15 shipping.

Ton's of olive variations to choose from. Lots of spices and snacks. Lots or olive oil variations to choose from. There Is a restaurant as well. Smelled delicious and it was very busy but we didn't have lunch here. Parking was not bad. There is a restroom. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Loved the history lesson on Corning and olives. Their selection is phenomenal and as always taste great. Their deli BLT was flavorful.
Perfect “pit” stop on your way through Northern Cali. Good people. Good eats!

This olive emporium just off of interstate 5 is definitely a stop worth taking! A store packed with a multitude of olives - including a tasting station - the place also has oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, honey, hot sauces, and gift items to list a few. They also have a cafe, which I checked out - just because. In spite of an intriguing assortment of sandwiches, including a bacon jam burger and a muffuletta, I chose the regular hamburger. Their side choices were bagged chips. As I went to the side to wait for my food, I saw that the "kitchen" was nothing more than a snack bar with machines - no grill or stove. This made me immediately question whether my choice of eateries might be questionable. I must say, though, I was impressed! Though far from the best burger I have ever had, it was very tasty and had all kinds of pluses. It was on a warm toasted brioche bun. The condiment bar included things like tapenade and olives, as well as the old standards. All in all, a satisfactory meal and a stop I highly recommend on any trip on I-5!

Loved their sandwich. I loved that I could sample a few products first which I ended up buying three of them. I only wish they had a few more olive types to sample but the minus one star is because when I was shopping I felt like the employees were on top of me and even going in after I use the restroom when I spent over 50 bucks there today. I prob would have spent more if they were not over me and not letting me breathe and browse!
Excellent customer service. Fantastic displays of rocks. Especially in the museum.

I took some pearl's of my Mom's in after she passed to find out if they were real. They were very nice & told me if each of my piece were real or imitation pearls. All for no charge. I was also surprised that the items in their store were affordable on any budget. Very satisfied w/ them.

I love this shop. Museum quality displays are everywhere you look. And the folks who work here are invariably courteous and helpful. Gaumer's has what you are looking for - whatever your interest in stones, fossils, minerals, mining, jewelry and more. They also provide repair services, and have a fantastic collection of stones and minerals from around the world if you are looking for something to cut & polish for yourself. There is a book section with trail guides and "how to" books, as well as a small collection of old (some out of print) books and reference materials that you can browse through to find just what you are looking. They have supplies for cutting, polishing, tumbling, assaying and more, and their prices are always reasonable. Some of the rarer stones seem a little pricey until you start comparing...
Even if you just want to look around at pretty rocks and fossils you definitely need to add Gaumer's to your itinerary. It has super easy access off and on the freeway, and is a short walk (shorter drive) from restaurants and shops, including a modest sized Tesla Supercharger station.
AND... they will be open on select Saturdays for the holiday season!
Woohoo!
P.S. Don't forget to stop and look at the beautiful petrified wood log in the entry foyer!

A combination of museum and store. They have an amazing collection of minerals, fossils, and artifacts on display. They also have a tremendous selection of polished stones for sale as well as equipment for those who want to polish there on rocks.

Absolutely AMAZING display of rare and precious gems and minerals! This place is a MUST see! With half the store being a museum, you will want to take your time and see EVERY single piece they have on display. Crystals, petrified wood, Indian artifacts, fossils, and so much more from all around the world- including right here in California. Truly stunning and unique pieces that were obviously collected over time and with a LOT of passion for rocks and the like! The shop side of the store is run by very helpful and friendly people who definitely know their stuff! Even though they have items not for sale in the museum, they keep their shop prices affordable and fair. This is a GREAT place to check out, without a doubt!! Thank you and lll be visiting again sometime very soon!

You definitely want to give yourself enough time to look through the museum and the store because it's filled with so many amazing rocks and fossils. The dark room in the museum section is so cool. My parents have purchased quite a few pieces of jewelry from Gaumers, and it's all beautiful. Seeing the store in person was really a treat. The jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. The women who worked there were friendly and attentive as well. I will be making it a point to stop in every time I'm in Northern CA.
Updated October 2023*- Gaumer's is still just as lovely and has added a new room within the museum area, which is a must-see.

So many beautiful examples... if the rating was based just on their exhibits they would definitely be a 5 out 5.. now having said that my cousin and I have recently gotten into gold mining "rocking" putting tons of time & money into our operations. we are at the pt where we need to collect or stop. we recently went to Gaumer's Jewelry store (highly recommend in our social cir.)and yes the associate did look at a large number of specimens for us.... but no luck ! supposedly he(my cousin's & his rocks only-this time) hadn't picked anything with gold in or around it lol! needless to say He was crushed! He went to the next exit up and opened the tailgate and dumped ALL his rocks out onto the ground!!!I of course am more optimistic and reclaimed a couple I truly believed had gold in them. When I got home & a friend of mine brought over the metal detector low and behold that machine went off like crazy! A Fix - they should have an associate that is just for checking rocks that customers have... and have time to help guide them to what it is that is needed. THIS STORE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY MY PEERS & though we don't have a ton of money to spend on classes at the college Gaumer's would benefit from helping these folks as they would get top dollar for any gold that is brought through their door Right?? thanks All

This place has EVERYTHING you could want when it comes to rocks, gems and jewelry. You will never find the beautiful hand crafted jewelry you find here at any big jewelry dealer. Everything is reasonably priced and ranges from under $10 to thousands of dollars. They have so many unique items to choose from! If you are a Rockhound, prospector or just love rocks, gems and jewelry, I highly recommend this place!

Classy family owned jewelry store featuring one of a kind custom designed pieces. The family travels the world to collect stones and gems that can be purchased in the rough or cut and polished. The small mining museum is very well done and admission is free. This is a great location for kids to learn about mining, minerals and gems. The black light room is awesome and they have geodes that can be cut open on site. Take a picture in front of the giant geode "angel wings" There is a good selection of stones/mineral samples for just a few dollars that even fit kids budgets.

I'm 30 now but since I was 12 I remember coming in to see the beautiful artwork and the magnificent gems and minerals and i cant forget the awesome museum layout they have to offer. I take my watches and all my jewelry here for just about anything you can think of and I always leave having more done then expected everytime, you can really tell they value your business and the craftsmanship is top of the line. weather your looking for a gift, a repair, or to browse a one of a kind collection of gems go no further then Gaumer's I always leave with a smile and my kids love adding to there collection of gems, geodes, and crystals.

Sulphur Works in Lassen Volcanic National Park is a must-see destination for those interested in the park's active volcanic landscape. Easily accessible from the Scenic Byway, it offers a unique opportunity to witness boiling mudpots and steam vents up close. The constantly changing hydrothermal features make it worth multiple visits.
Drove five hours to see this amazing site and it was totally worth it. Go before the heart of summer, because it might be dried up then where else will you see naturally boiling water due to the earth's heat? So amazing and frightening if you fell in.

Boiling mud pot right next to the parking lot. A must stop point in the park. There are many mud pots on both sides of the road

Up close and personal with Mother Nature's Power. It was a great experience hiking up to the Sulphur Works from the Visitor Center during the winter time. I suggest checking the website for accessibility during the winter. We made it without the snow shoes. Trail was compacted (from previous hikers 😄) making it easier to hike on and not worry about postholing. The park rangers here were very friendly and helpful. Winter Pass is also $10

Five stars isn't adequate, tbh! Awesome couple of boiling mud pots and plumes of steam all aorund, from many small and large vents. Wonderful smell of sulphur as one approaches! Walked the <1 mile after a decent snowfall and it was winter wonderlandy on the way there from the visitor center, and foggy and mysterious on the way back. Magical experience, will have to return at a different time of year to see what changes.

I came to this Sulphur Works again ( 11/17/2019) since I visited the park.
No need to hike, just park your car in the parking lot, walk up for few hundred feet in tar road snd you are there.
I love to see hot mud still active. (And I can be so close to it).
Smoke and smell come up to the air at one,
I don’t know how hot or warm of the liquid in the pool, I was here last year in summer and the smell of the pool so bad, I think fall season the pool smell must better. I will stop here again when I come back to this park.

The bubbling mud pot was worth stopping for! It has LIVE microorganisms that thrive in hot and acidic environments. This was one of my highlights from visiting Lassen. It can be tough to get a parking spot so come to the park early.

Be prepared for the smell. If the name wasn’t obvious enough it smells like sulphur I.E rotten eggs. The smell will cling to you as well. Now with that out of the way, Sulphur Works was a pretty awesome spot to stop at before exploring other areas. As of now the road is undergoing repairs, with heavy equipment taking up about half the parking lot, so space is limited. Also don’t touch the boiling water, I spotted one person attempting to reach their hand into it which went as well as you’d expect.

Cinder Cone is an extinct volcanic peak located near Butte Lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park. The challenging 4-mile hike to the crater rim offers stunning views of Mt. Lassen and the surrounding Painted Dunes. The trail takes about 3 hours to complete and leads through incredible lava beds before ascending the solidified lava mass of the volcano. The unique landscape resembles a moon-like environment, with slopes of uniform 35 degrees covered in small lava pebbles.
Camped at Butte Lake, which was a short distance to the cinder cone. The cone itself was fantastic hike, steep uphill but worth it for the majestic panoramic view of the surrounding area of Lassen.

I totally forgot to add my review of this place...haha. Went around June of 2021 and it was an amazing experience, coming from a person that has ZERO interest in volcanos. My friend convinced me to go during a tour through Northern California and I'm glad I did. You'll need hiking boots and just take it one step at a time focused on the top. The hill is steep but it's totally worth it once you reach the top. The pictures are nothing compared to seeing it up close and in person. Absolutely breathtaking...so get out there and enjoy!
D. Jackson — Google review
Really unique hike, about 2 miles to the top. Walking to the base is relatively flat and decently shaded if the sun is not directly upwards. Kind of a mix all the way between sand and gravel. Great views all around. Should do this if at Lassen.
Brent Cunningham — Google review
Great hike with very unique terrain. You're basically hiking in black cinder, some combination of sand and gravel. The hike starts off fairly level with light incline and tree shade. As you're walking through the wooded area, you get a first up close view of the lava beds. Once you get out of the wooded area, you are pretty much at the base of the cinder cone. You can go either left (clockwise) or right (counter clockwise) at that point. Going straight up from the left is the shortest route and imo the easier of the two. It's steep but you can take breaks as you're going up. The gravel/sand makes it relatively easy to stay in place. Once you get up, you get an amazing panoramic view of multiple lakes and peaks, as well as the painted dunes.
Going down is probably easier the same way going up (from the clockwise route) because the back side is a bit steep. If you go down the backside, you go around the cinder cone towards the painted dunes.
Would recommend wearing hiking shoes and bringing hiking poles, especially for going downhill.

We drove a little further off the beaten track to cross this place off the list off must see locations in Lassen Volcanic National Park. True to name you really get a chance to admire how the landscape has undergone great and dramatic change. The colors that one sees at the top of the cone are worth the laborious trek up the steep cone. For sure you'll feel a bit tired as the terrain does few favors for you.
I really loved this experience and highly recommend it to any visitor to the area

We hiked up to cinder cone in late August. The view on top was amazing. The hike uphill was short but VERY strenuous especially if the sun is out. The entire walk uphill is exposed. I’d say go there in late afternoon or early morning. Bring a walking stick. We wouldn’t have made it without it. Don’t forget Lots of water. totally worth the effort to go to the top. We were there alone. Had such a lovely time there. This is the best place in Lassen NP.
Kennedy J — Google review
A short hike from the butte lake grounds, the cinder cone looks like something out of this world. The hike up is very difficult, it is a steep grade and the ground is almost like sand. Every time you take a step up, you slide part way down. The view from on top is fantastic, you can see several lakes, the painted dunes, and also the lava beds. Only thing is that the trail on the other side wasn't clearly marked and we got lost for a little bit.
Steven Hung — Google review
Such an amazing experience! Glad we finished the weekend with this trail. It’s a steep and tiring hike up, but so worth it! Amazing view of Lassen Peak and the lava beds. Definitely worth reading up a little on Cinder Cone volcanoes to understand what you’re looking at.
Manu Moreau — Google review
Quiet, easy hike to the cone, however the hike up the cone is challenging. Like walking up the steepest gravel covered sand dune you can imagine, but it is grey/ black volcanic ash and fine ejecta. The beautiful, surreal views from the top are a real reward for the effort. The Painted Dunes and lava field are something completely different from the surrounding landscape. The hike back down the cone is a breeze - a long, heel heavy stride will bring a hiker to the bottom in a quarter of the climb time:)

I can’t believe it there is only 98 reviews on Google for this unique hike! My 9 years old daughter hiked up there and the view of the crater, lava bed and painted sand dune. The uphill hike was really challenging but it worthy!!
This lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park offers non-motorized boating & trout fishing.
Beautiful place in the winter! They have a parking lot right next to the visitors center which is about a mile up from the entrance to the park coming off 44. There were a few places to park on the side of the road, but there may be more when the snow is not piled up on the side. I have been here before and been able to walk on the lake when it is frozen, but do not do that unless it is verified it is safe! There were warning signs out saying thin ice. If you walk past the visitors center you cross a small bridge over the river which is a very beautiful spot to take a picture. Straight forward from the bridge is a small area where you can sled down a small hill in the snow so bring your saucers/ sleds in the winter time. Also from that hill you get a beautiful virw of Lassen co ered in snow. Close to the entrance you can pull to the side and get a good view of Lassen behind the lake

Beautiful lake trail. Take your time and appreciate the beauty.
Serene and tranquil, you will only hear some birds and some distant waterfalls.
Beautiful views of distant peaks. All snow covered even in late June. (Looks like they didn’t get the memo that summer started)
Many opportunities for photography, especially landscape and macro.
There were some people kayaking.
Overall, a wonderful walk to remember.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. We stayed on the C-Loop with our teardrop and enjoyed the space between the campsites. The bear boxes were first rate.
The bathrooms were cleaned daily and while the showers we expensive at $5 per, there were no quarters required and no time limit. Add to it that the shower room was clean and tidy. It was worth EVERY BIT of the $5.
The campground store was neat and had any supplies you might need.
And the best part is an early morning or sunset walk around Manzanita Lake.
This place is a treasure.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The weather was about 70 degrees and light wind. The views and the landscape or just breathtaking. None of it looked real and I was stunned trying to take it all in. If you get the chance to visit I highly recommend you do so. It is life-altering and super peaceful up there. I saw that they have cabins for rent around the lake as well. You can find them online just by simply googling the lake. It is totally worth the trip and make sure you bring a way to charge your phone cuz you will take pictures non-stop while you are there.
Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a large natural history park that offers visitors a range of attractions, including a museum, botanical garden, and forest camp. While the museum may be on the smaller side and can typically be explored within an hour, the vast park requires several hours to fully explore. The playgrounds are great for children and feature zip lining activities. One of the highlights is feeding the lively parrots or lorekeets.
Amazing park and museum to spend few hours. Museum is quite small and can be done within an hour. The park is huge and takes couple of hours. The playgrounds are good for kids with zip lining and all. Lorekeets /parrots feeding is a blast and definitely do that

Edited: Nice place for kids to learn new things and explore...
Some things didn't seem correctly priced ... $3 for a stick to attract the butterflies... I saw better butterflies outside in the wild! We barely saw 10 simple butterflies that day... maybe it was the heat, it was 110°... Other people's reviews and pictures are 100x nicer than our experience. While it was so warm kids didn't want to play in the park. I'm sure they would have loved it if the heat wasn't as scorching.
The parrots seemed more worth the money... it was $2 for a nectar cup and parrots came straight to you when you get those cups.
The Tutankhamun exhibition was nice... it was scary for the little one though (3 year old, got scared of the animal figures) but the teenager loved it all.

Took the Family to Turtle Bay Museum for the tree house exhibit. It was so much fun and so many activities to do. My kiddo made a binary bracelet with his initials, chalk art, dressed up in scientist and engineers clothing and got to play in the tree house. The marine exhibit and art gallery exhibit was amazing to view. Our favorite activity is to vote for what to see for future displays. After, we like to go walking to the nursery.

I let my assumption of it using the word turtle…that I would see more then 2.
Is this a cool thing to do with kids, yes.
Should you spend 4 hours here for your moneys worth, yes.
The cost is around the same amount I would pay for a zoo with 2x the animals. So I do think the price is a bit stiff.
The building itself didn’t have much animal wise to see. Thus assuming that’s the museum part? But it’s called Exploration park? Which the park (play grounds) is attached to the museum an only accessible via museum tickets. So it shouldn’t show up as a separate google maps pin an parents assume it’s just a park to go to.
That being said. The staff were all wonderful.
The animal show was cool. We loved that they walked the animals close by. Highly recommend if your child can sit for 35 mins an not move nor eat.
Bathrooms, ✔️
There are two play areas an unfortunately people do not know how to read signs. There was a family with larger teens throwing water bottles an jumping in the toddler baby section with their parents. Leaving the area unfortunately unsafe to let the little kids explore safety. There needs to either be a larger more obvious sign or a staff member.
The parrot feeding was super cool. Respect the staff an what they say. If you know your kids can’t handle direction don’t set them up for failure an walk them inside.
The map they give makes it seem like it’s massive an large when it’s really small an the font is hard to read. We missed tons due to time an unsure of where to go.

An excellent spot for families, ideally children.
The inside of the museum is focused on local history, such as the Wintu, Redding in the 20's, local biodiversity, etc.
There's a dedicated hands-on section in the back that's good for young kids.
The backside of the museum is the actual park and quite expansive. There's a sizeable playground for families and an area to interact with exotic and local birds.
Further down is a trail that extends for a mile or so and you can check out small caged areas for hawks or the bobcat.
Definitely an easy way to spend 90 minutes to get an idea of the area.
It's also common to find stray cats nearby as the locals pointed out that there's a gentleman who tends to them.

It was a very rainy day as I stopped by the museum to
visit the aquarium and the
local history exhibits.
The museum has a nice
exhibit on the Wintu tribe
that has lived in the area
for over thousand years.
You will find an exhibits
on the building of the
Sundial Bridge, an aquarium with beaver and fish, a
urban watershed river lab,
and local history.
It was raining too hard to
visit the other parts of the
park including a botanical
garden, arboretum, and
a forest camp with a parrot house.
I did stop at the bistro for
lunch and had a nice Asian
Chicken Salad.
Located on Sundial Bridge

The Sundial Bridge is an iconic pedestrian overpass that spans the Sacramento River and resembles a cruise ship on land. Designed by famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava in 2004, the bridge's glass deck offers spectacular views of the river and its surroundings. Lit up at night, the bridge's glass path provides an enchanting experience for visitors who enjoy peaceful walks in nature.
I loved this place! This is a nice place for peaceful walks surrounded by nature. The people is really polite and friendly in the Sundial Bridge shop and coffee as well. I was impressed about how much they are encouraging awareness 'avoiding fires in the forests.' Well done! Taking care of our planet is extremely important.

We had a really great time at the Sundial Bridge. Walking on the river walk, the Turtle Bay Museum and checking out the bridge which is very cool.
The Sacramento River has great trails with wildlife all around. The trail near the bridge includes a beautiful garden with educational stops for everyone.
The Turtle Bay Museum and it's grounds were fun for all of us, including my fifteen year old daughter. She interacted with birds in the Parrot House and butterflies, and zipped on the zip-line in the playground.
I'm sure her favorite part was the butterflies though, as we spent well over an hour in the butterfly house.
In the museum there was a hand on educational room that has really fun activities about prehistoric flying reptiles, Pterosaurs.
A whole room displaying replicas of the items discovered in King Tutankhamun.
Pretty fascinating.
There is a cafe that is currently being remodeled but Mosaic Restaurant was open.
If you are unfamiliar with reading it's very hot in the summer months and stays pretty warm until October. I recommend sunblock and if your heat sensitive the indoor part of the museum and Mosaic restaurants during the summer.
Otherwise visit early or in the evening I know they open at 9:00 a.m. the bridge and trails are always open but not all of the grounds.

Beautiful FREE nature and artsy area, connects with a separate parking area on the other side of the botanical garden that closes earlier, so if you want to stay later this is the side to go in at. I am here in the winter, & the sun went down early so I was able to get some nighttime shots. The restrooms are clean, the park was well-kept except I really wish the botanical garden had better signage, many plants had zero signs telling you what they are.

Pretty interesting stop on the way home. It’s been a place my wife has been wanting to see. But now that we have seen the bridge we may want to stop back by to check our the other places like the Turtle Bay Exploration Museum. There was plenty of parking and also changing stations.

This place is RAD!!!! very interesting to see a giant sundial and to learn some of the history behind it. Plus a big botanical garden to walk through. I recommend stopping for a few and checking out out. And the scenery, trees and river and so much more......

Looks like a quite fancy bridge with the glass floor. You may feel the cold water and a different view of the bridge by the river beach. There are some trails for walking in this park. The museum is next to the bridge entrance.

Visited the city over a weekend. Beautiful view of the Redding sunset! Very clean and calm environment. The electric scooters were all dead or on low battery according to the app, so that was kinda of a bummer. Overall though it’s a cool spot :)

It's a great looking bridge in Redding, CA. Crosses the Sacramento river. It is a sundial bridge that gives time based on the sun position throughout the day. River is amazing matches well with the floor of the bride. Water is cold, but it definitely keeps you cool in these hot summer days.

We have visited Sundial bridge during our Shasta trip. This bridge is built over Sacramento river. Its a beautiful bridge. You can also go for little hike. I have seen locals hiking. Near by there is Turtle Bay exploration center if you want you can visit that place too.

I love taking evening strolls here, especially during sunset time. In the summer that is really the best time to walk my dog since the pavement can get too hot during the day. But the evening time is beautiful to see the sunsets over the water. The lights at the bridge are beautiful as well. There are many different paths to take that keeps my walking route interesting. There are usually people along these paths, especially on the bridge taking picture or in the area down below the bridge. The area down below next to the river is super cool, and helps to cool you down on hot days. I have encountered snakes on the path when it starts to get dark, so be careful and aware, especially with pets.

Beautiful scenery surrounding this incredible landmark. The scenes were elevated by the sun and warmth with the tips of the surrounding mountain range covered in snow! If just for a moment to breathe and enjoy being out and about, this is a must on anyone's Redding list when in the area! Let alone the incredible engineering of the bridge itself!

Great peaceful place 🙏 a big thanks to all the wonderful workers who make this place so clean and secure, it is really hard to find a clean place to have family time here in California. Homelessness is taking over in a lot of great outdoor places, so to see that you guys make sure is safe for families to come and enjoy is just highly appreciated 👏 keep up the good work, and I will be back to relax and enjoy the clean river and side big thanks!

Had a blast. Very good spot to visit to see all the lights, and I would definitely suggest it for everyone of all ages even. The staff were very friendly and went to the botanical gardens show of lights, and it was definitely an experience I will remember for all of my life. I had so much fun. I think I'm gonna have to do it again this year, and hopefully, there will be many more to come.

1st time here just passing through town on a road trip but weather was nice enough for a stop. Easy parking & walked from the turtle bay river trail. Weekday afternoon & not crowded at all. Beautiful bridge for walking across. There was fishing boats under & looks like they were definitely having good luck catching. Blue skies with gorgeous clouds but overcast enough where I wasn’t able to see the actual sundial time. Very impressive bridge.

I would recommend going at night...But only if you can afford the somewhat steep $20 ( with a $5 discount for Turtle Bay Members) admission fee to the Glowing Wild event.
According to the flyer,
"Experience Glowing Wild Lantern Festival for the first time at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration park, featuring 10 acres of botanical gardens filled with larger-than-life Asian lantern displays inspired by wildlife and plants from around the world, great for all ages."
Although pretty amazing and colorful during the day...Apparently at night everything is lit up, hence the Glowing in the name. And about the only animal NOT on display was the raccoon...

I am so thankful for Bethel church. I am especially grateful for the humility and love modeled by senior leadership as well as courageous leadership. It is great to be part of a church that loves Jesus, honors the bible and encourages faith. It is not hard to believe that the creator of the universe is well able and willing to heal today! It's also not surprising to me that the church is heavily criticized....I am yet to see any ministry that is truly having an impact not come under fire! Thank you Bethel church, I am so grateful for your witness and your courage.

They have wonderful choirs. Or let me say I love their choirs. So if you love quality worship, I recommend this place.
People seem friendly. I was standing, someone walked up to me and found me a seat, it might be protocol, it worth acknowledging.
The people sitting around me are friendly and warm.
There are several interesting events they announce that one can attend.
It is advisable to be there in time because of parking. Sure, they have enough parking space. However, if you don't want to be too far from the entrance, then be on time.
The message was simple and works for all levels of believers. I am sure they will have Bible study days, but I do not know.
Above all, God's presence was awesome.

Drove up from near Sacramento, picking up a friend from Chico, to hear Argentinian Pastor Claudio Friedzon for their Sunday evening service. I was disappointed to discover that he wasn't speaking.
I had forgotten that Bethel usually doesn't announce who their Sunday night speaker is. Their goal is to prepare people more for an encounter with the Lord instead of with a famous personality.
The guest speaking couple were humble and visibly touched by God's Presence! I don't know what to say....
Wow! WOW!! W O W 💝 ❣️ ‼️ The worship ushered in the LORD'S PRESENCE--IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS GLORIOUS 💥 🔥 ❤️🔥 ✨️...mere words fail to do it justice...

Not sure why other Christians give this church bad reviews. I moved to Redding recently and having read Bill Johnson’s book “When Heaven Invades Earth” I wanted to give this church a try. If had had read the reviews and have been persuaded otherwise I would have missed out on confirmation the Holy Spirit gave me while I was here.
Bill Johnson is a blessed man of God and the sermon hit home. I would recommend this church to anyone. However please know that they have an overflow room. This church does get packed. I felt like I was at a concert. I got there 5 mins. before service started. It was hard to find seating and then was told by the ushers that the 3rd row had 8 empty seats. Praise be to God for the open seats! Would definitely go back again.
This church you may or may not want to make your home church for the reasons being that it gets crowded, and there are lots of conferences which are directed towards leadership skills as opposed to a normal church.

Attended Open Heavens conference and was thoroughly blessed. Real people seeking after God and full of His love sharing it with others. Bethel is our home away from home. People giving their heart and soul to make a difference in a world that is lost and in need of God’s saving grace and salvation. Love you Pastor Bill and all your family faithfully serving the Lord here at Bethel. Side note, there is a cost for the conferences, well worth the investment into my spiritual life.
Scott Andrews — Google review
I attended this church for a one time visit. 45 minutes was all worship. It was really good worship although some songs are questionable. My main concern is the fact that I didn’t hear ANY teachings directly from the Bible. No scriptures not a verse nothing for 2 hours of talking. All I heard was the pastor talking about his childhood. He began the service with odd prophecies. He would say someone had dream of this and asked them to stand up. Only two out of like five times did someone actually stand up. When they did he would say something that would be pretty obvious in any Christian’s life that would happen. I’m non-denominational. But the tricky thing is when a church says they are non-denominational they can teach anything they want even if it’s not from the Bible. Their book store has a whole shelf of supernatural books. You know where ghost come from? The devil…
Don’t go if you are a first time church goer. You’ll get easily sucked into lukewarm Christian teachings(half truth half lie)

I have been camping and living right by or near this Lake for well over a decade. There's a great trail that goes all the way around the lake, boat access public beaches private campgrounds apparently good fishing because there's always people there fishing. The campground also rents pontoon boats. There are public outhouses that are maintained fairly well in multiple locations as well as parking and there's a Frisbee golf course right next to it. Every 4th of July this is where they do the fireworks and lots of friendly people can be found walking or biking the trail at all times. There are some picnic table areas and lots of hidden spots to set up your own little private Beach area. It is also very popular with ducks and seagulls. Deer can be regularly seen here as well as tons of squirrels.

This is an incredible local treasure but I stress the word local - because it should be treated with care for just that reason. The park has a playground, picnic tables, gazebo, large grassy field, various buildings dedicated to senior meals and local community activities. It also holds a spring that is one of the headwaters of the Sacramento River.
For whatever reason you come here, please respect the fact this a community treasure created and maintained by the local community. Please don't leave trash, destroy native habitat (such as the native plants growing around the spring), or make this an unsafe area for family by doing drugs or smoking cigarettes.
This is a great place to enjoy time alone or with family and friends.
There is parking and a bathroom.
Again, respect this wonderful community resource. Don't leave trash. Respect the energy, work, and funding it takes to maintain such a wonderful place where people can relax, recharge, connect, and play together.

The park is beautiful with play structure for kids. You can enjoy the headwaters fall and taste the water but on Gour own risk. Most people says that you can use the water since it comes from the top and is a filtered water however city put the notice board that it is not tested.
You may see some hippies and the group of people enjoying the barbecue or else. This season was not crowded.
Recommendation: keep an eye around and stay there only if you feel safe.

Fantastic is only the beginning of this gem. Along with picnic tables, bar-b-ques, a playground & forested trails near the creek are the Headwaters of the Sacramento River. Walk softly, have a taste & cool your feet in the Sacred Headwaters & take a nap or have a meal in this beautiful park.

What a pleasant and peaceful park just off the I5, home to the headwaters of the Sacramento River. Lots of facilities, lots of trees providing shade, and lots of space to walk, picnic, and just enjoy nature. The only problem for me is the fact that as I was heading south, to get back on the I5 required having to ride through the town and city streets more than I would have like as there is no easy access back onto the freeway. Other than that, I nice respite from the concrete jungle that is nearby.

Great park and landscaping but lots of weed smoking hippies! The water is the cleanest and coldest in California. The water come out of a hole in the ground. Snow melt from Mt. Shasta seeped though cracks in the mountains and filter though the rock. When it comes out at the park you can fill up your water bottle and drink it. Go early otherwise you will encounter lots of dirty drifters bathing in the water and smoking.

Mount Shasta is an awe-inspiring destination that offers a challenging yet immensely rewarding mountaineering experience. Our group of five embarked on the journey to conquer its peak, and the sense of accomplishment we felt upon reaching the summit was truly unparalleled.
The ascent was undoubtedly difficult, requiring perseverance, physical endurance, and mental strength. However, the collective determination and support within our group propelled us forward, overcoming every obstacle along the way. The journey tested our limits, but it also pushed us to discover our true capabilities.
The breathtaking views that unfolded as we climbed higher were simply extraordinary. The rugged beauty of Mount Shasta and the surrounding landscapes took our breath away, making every step worth the effort. The panoramic vistas from the summit allowed us to witness nature's grandeur in all its glory, leaving us in awe of the world around us.
The satisfaction we experienced upon reaching the peak of Mount Shasta was indescribable. It was a culmination of our hard work, determination, and unwavering spirit. The sense of accomplishment that washed over us was overwhelming, reminding us of the incredible things we can achieve when we push ourselves beyond our comfort zones.
Mount Shasta is not only a mountain to conquer but also a place of profound beauty and inspiration. Its majestic presence serves as a reminder of the power of nature and our place within it. The experience of mountaineering on Mount Shasta is not just about reaching the summit—it is about connecting with the natural world, challenging ourselves, and discovering our own inner strength.
Whether you're an experienced mountaineer or someone seeking a transformative adventure, Mount Shasta offers an unforgettable journey. It is a testament to the rewards that come from pushing our limits and embracing the beauty of the world around us. If you're willing to embark on a challenging but immensely fulfilling experience, Mount Shasta is waiting to be conquered, offering stunning views and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.

An inactive volcano, Mount Shasta is the fifth-highest mountain in the Golden State. 14,179 feet tall it dominates the landscape of this area of Northern California. I'm from North Carolina, which boasts the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi (Mount Mitchell, 6684 feet).
Allegedly, the volcano was last active in 1250 AD. No Yelp then to prove it one way or the other.
There is a fabulous vista point not far away on I-5. I'd love to catch it at sunrise but alas, I'm heading south this afternoon and can't stay to get closer to Mount Shasta. Instead, I'll just have to be satisfied with the great views of the mountain from the highway.

Very spiritual place to climb. I highly recommend that Read Julius Evola’s “Meditations on the Peaks: Mountain Climbing as Metaphor for the Spiritual Quest” before you visit. You know as Evola said
“Considering that today the mountain has been physically conquered and that there are few peaks that man has not yet reached, it is important to keep the conquest from being debased and from losing its higher meaning. Thus, it is necessary that the younger generations gradually come to appreciate action at the level of ritual and that they slowly succeed in finding again a transcendent reference point. It is through this reference point that the feats of audacity, risk, and conquest as well as the disciplines of the body, the senses, and the will that are practiced in the immovable, great, and symbolic mountain peaks, lead men to the realization that all in man is beyond himself. In this way these feats will be justified in the context of the spiritual revolutionary movement that is currently emerging among our people.”

This is an absolutely magical place to experience. At the ascend I was tingling with anticipation. Once we arrived at the Old Ski Bowl Trailhead and seeing various individuals meditating and absorbing the mountains' energy, I knew I was not the only one who felt this.

It’s such a pleasure to see this mountain from multiple angles.
Prakash Veer — Google review
The fifth tallest mountain in California and the second highest in the Cascades, second only to Ranier. But what really separates Mt Shasta from the rest of the mountains is literally its separation. The isolation, prominance, and grade make this a remarkable mountain that rises from the local 4,000-14,179.
Any angle you try to climb will be challenging, with slopes that are often 40-45 degrees, covered in scree and talus. But the views from the top of such an isolated mountain are worth it.

Argyle Winery is a renowned winery in the Willamette Valley region that offers tours, meals and tastings. Known for its high-quality pinot noir and chardonnay, it is one of the most popular wineries in the area. While some wineries offer tours, most have tasting rooms where visitors can enjoy their wines. The atmosphere at Argyle Winery is beautiful with a garden terrace that visitors can use when the weather improves.
Large modern tasting room with outdoor seating tucked in a charming town. Smooth and elegant wines, poured by a knowledgeable sommelier paired with a delicious charcuterie platter.

The vibe and layout here are spectacular. The walls and ceiling are immaculate, and very open for noise dampening. You might feel like you're around a bunch of people, but you can't pick out any one specific conversation. Which is great because this was our third stop out of three for our wine tasting day.
If you haven't read my other review, I was a designated driver for a girls night out, where I was designated an honorary female and allowed to sample wines, but not drink significantly. This tasting facilitator (I never know the technical term. Sommelier?), Phillip, also returned my back-and-forth banter about the vintage water options they had for tasting, and even brought out a few extra additions to our purchased tasting, since we were all getting along fantastically.
I especially enjoyed the "wine swingset" presentation that allowed the easy carrying of multiple tastings, sixteen filled wine glasses were brought out by one person, which is just outright impressive.
My wife and I bought three bottles of wine (mainly sparkling, which seems to be their specialty), a friend who accompanied us renewed their membership to their wine club, and both of the individuals who went with us bought their own few bottles of wine. In all, a successful trip, and highly recommended.
Also, Phillip's tattoo is not "F for Phillip." I'll let him explain the meaning to you, but hopefully I may have saved some of you who visit some embarrassment 😂

Was surprised to see that Argyle on had 4.3 stars. Although many probably want to be out in the fields this is a great in city location. Should change the name to tasting room since it is misleading. Was expecting to visit a working winery since my wife knows the brand. The room itself was very nice but 45 dollar for four glass flights seems kinda high and the 45 charcuterie BOX way over price.

I am mostly a red wine drinker, but there bubbles were on point and I thoroughly enjoyed all if them as well as comparing the differed harvest times in their chardonnays. Whenever I walk into a bigger place, I assume the service won’t be top notch, but in a very hot and busy day, we were well taken care of and checked in on.

I typically don’t like to leave bad reviews unless the experience was really poor…. we showed up for a friends birthday celebration and came from another winery. i had called ahead to try to talk to them about us being late and called about 7 times. No answer. We decided to make the drive over. When we arrived we apologized for being late and let them know we did call and the lady at the front gave us a very hard time. this attitude did not change when i told her i did try to reach out. ( i understand being late can ruin the flow of reservations) and we would have gone somewhere else if they would have answered.
They greet you with a glass of champagne and they handed my friend a glass and then ripped it out of her hands and asked if she was 21.i understand doing your due diligence but the manor was rude and unprofessional and are also a group of younger women and no other individual from our party was asked if they were 21 or even carded.
Finally we were sat and our waiter was extremely rude and we had asked about ingredients and notes in the wine and he gave us short and snippy answers, did not explain the wine to us and had come over only once during our whole visit. We ended up getting only one glass of wine.
We love Argyle wine however this place was not pleasant. The service was abysmal and the staff was unfriendly and pretentious.

We went to the Helio Sequence concert at the Argyle Winery Tasting House. The wine served was excellent, but the winery peeps were even more amazing! They were cordial and very helpful. The combination of both led to a truly wonderful experience! Of note, the tacos in the picture were provided by an outside vendor for the event, Kopitos.

Loved it here!
We were greeted with a lovely glass of sparkling. The place is airy and also comfy and modern. The wines were all excellent. We also had a delicious meat and cheese box that was perfect. Service was warm and also on point.
We will definitely come back!

This winery came highly rated and what was Interesting was the favorable comments from other winery staff about the location when I mentioned I had visited which tells you something.
All the sparking were good and the patio was nice. It's not on a vineyard but the space makes up for it

Really enjoyed Argyle on our trip out to the Portland area! The tasting room is right off the main road but you can't even tell. Its a nice spot with a lot of care put into it, just as the wines have a lot of care put into them. We had a great time with awesome service and some great wines. There are some seriously spectacular bubbles at this place.
We loved it so much we blew through all of our bottles and had to order more for the holidays!
It’s dog-friendly too!
If you're in the area, make sure Argyle is on the list!!

Driving back from the coast, my partner, her sister, and I decided to check out a winery in the Dundee area. Argyle came up as a top choice on a couple of the lists we found, and it was right on our route, so we were excited to try it. When we arrived and mentioned that we didn’t have reservations, the tone of the interaction completely changed. They said we could only do glasses (not a tasting), which was totally fine and expected given that it was a spontaneous visit. We were starving from the drive, so we asked about a cheeseboard, and they said they “might” be able to get us one. I was surprised they used this language given that the food was a pre-made charcuterie box (among stacks of many others) that they pulled from the fridge. They also said we would have to sit outside despite having several empty tables that never filled for the hour we were there. Fortunately, there were some concrete blocks to sit on as we worked our way through the charcuterie box. I enjoyed the wine, the food was decent - kind of your typical packaged stuff - but the service was disappointing. I know reservations are recommended, but a place like this may as well say “no walk-ins” if that’s the vibe they are going to exude. If you want to try Argyle and aren’t into degradation, be sure to make reservations. Better yet, maybe just buy a bottle.

When it comes to the perfect mix or venue, atmosphere, endless great wines and the beautiful blend of them all…it’s Argyle.
We recently had a birthday celebration there and we had a private room experience. Just walking in gives you all the happy feels because it really feels like you are stepping into another world. Elegant wine glasses, staff that curated the best flight of options, and of course friend and family time spent over a glass.
We love this place, especially the sparkling wine. If you are a Red drinker, white sipper or a sparkling popper, Argyle will offer them all.
We visited Knudsen Winery tasting room yesterday. I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures. This winery is a must stop! I am lucky to live close by to the Oregon Dundee Hills AVA and have enjoyed many different wines at different wineries. This one is will make the favorites. Many different Pinot’s to try, one of my favorites was Backstory. It is a fruity full flavor taste with a smooth finish. The Chardonnay was very good as well. The indoor tasting room is a bit small but very comfortable and I am looking forward to sitting outside on a warm spring day. The staff is very knowledgeable about the fruit the processing and the finished product. We were welcomed by Page one of the owners. She was very attentive during our whole stay. We came home with quite a bit of wine and a warm blanket and a book about their journey. Make your reservation today you won’t be sorry.

We had the privilege of touring this gorgeous vineyard with Paige Knudsen, the vineyard owner. She shared a wealth of information. My husband and I learned a incredible amount during the hike. Paige is a fantastic host. She treated us like guests in her home. I loved the wine tastings set up in two places during our hike. WOW! Best hike ever! Hike and wine! When we returned from the hike, the gracious staff served our delicious lunch. We tasted a variety of the amazing wines during our lunch on their beautiful patio overlooking the vineyard. What a visceral experience! The staff at the tasting room is second to none. We enjoyed learning about the vineyard from both Paige and Lester. They ensured we enjoyed every moment at Knudsen Vineyards. We loved the wines so much we joined the club! We look forward to enjoying a "taste of Knudsen Vineyards" at our home in Arizona each time we open a bottle. We will return here!

We had an outstanding experience touring the Knudsen property, walking through the vineyard to the cabin for lunch and a tasting of Knudsen wines! Highly recommend a trip while visiting in Willamette!

We had an amazing experience with the vineyard tour, lunch, and wine tasting at Knudsen on May 15th! Our tour guide Lester was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of wine making at Knudsen and in the area. We got rained on quite a bit for the tour, but honestly I expected nothing less from the PNW. We highly recommend the full walking tour to anyone interested in learning more about the wine making process.

We had an amazing tour of this beautiful vineyard on a wet, even snowy, day in late March. The tour included interesting stories about the history of the vineyard, the grape varieties and why they were chosen, why they are planted the way they are, and the wines they produce.
The tasting confirmed everything we expected about the fine quality of the Knudsen wines - a terrific rose, fantastic Chardonnay and, of course, out of this world Pinot Noir’s were had.
These are wines, and this is a vineyard, worth a visit! To continue enjoying these wines, we became Knudsen club members on the spot and are awaiting our first case (as soon as the temperature rises above freezing).
And, we will be back for another visit!

Delightful, chill tasting experience of Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs. Charcuterie plates and other nibbles available. We really enjoyed all of the wines tasted. Lester was friendly, knowledgeable about the wines, region and wine in general. Precautions for Covid are good, vaccine cards required (cool), good ventilation and the extra nice touch of blankets on our seats to allow for open doors on a bit chilly day.

We celebrated Father’s Day at Knudsen Winery with some of our kids and every aspect was truly fabulous! We ordered a couple of bottles: the Family Series 2019 Pinot was perfection-in-a-bottle and the rose is perfect on a warm summer day! The tasting room is nestled within the sprawling and beautiful vineyard - very picturesque! Guests can even book a guided hike that includes wine (of course!) and lunch!
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and are on hand to answer questions, or they are sensitive about giving guests space and privacy while checking in periodically (our preference). Our family loved the entire experience and cannot wait to return!!

Where to start?! Knudsen is tucked away down a gravel road leading up to the lookout. Here there is plenty of outdoor seating which is very family friendly. Knudsen even offers a kid juice tasting with a cheese and meat plate. Their staff is wonderful and kind. They have created a family like culture that extends to their guest. You can take a tour around the winery see picturesque views. Definitely check them out if you are in the Dundee Hills area!

The garden brunch, tastings, and walk around the vineyard was a true delight! Reservations were easy to make and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The brunch food was fantastic! My partner and I really enjoyed learning about the family’s history with the land and the exciting new things they have coming up… bubbles!!!!!
The Outlook and tasting room areas are beautiful and have lovely detail yet they felt comfortable and relaxing. It’s clear the Knudsen family has placed importance on welcoming visitors to their *home* and have created an environment that allows for connecting with others and enjoying the full experience.
We left with an additional bottle of Pinot Noir to enjoy at home and can’t wait to get back this fall for more, including some of their events! Thank you, Knudsen Family, for a great start to our day and for the history you’re sharing with your visitors.

Cannot say enough great things about Knudsen. They hosted a big group of us for a tasting and it was an incredible experience. Their wine is delicious, their staff is fantastic and such a lovely setting for all a reasonable cost. Highly recommend this beautiful, family-owned winery.

Had a great experience and tasting. The wine and service were excellent with beautiful views.
We attended the event with a dog walk through the grounds with stops for tasting along the way. The hike was mild, scenic and leisurely.
Would definitely go back.

Beautiful winery with delicious wine and tasty food! It's worth the drive out to the location! We'll be back to try some of the other adventures that they offer like a vineyard hike or brunch?

We had a really nice time tasting at Knudsen Winery today. The wines are exceptional and the tasting room is inviting, casual and has beautiful views.
This area is full of vineyards that grow some of the best Pinot Noir in the country and Knudsen meets the mark for Pinot Noir.

We had the most relaxing and lovely experience here. Not only is the setting beautiful, but the service was so knowledgeable, offering so much info about the wines without being intrusive to our socializing. The wines were incredible especially the Pinot noirs we tried. Great value for a tasting and I have been to many in the area.
