One of my favourite holiday destinations.
Beautiful beaches, lots of nice shops and good restaurants around.

A beautiful family friendly beach to visit either when heading up further north or local travel from Brisbane. Beautiful white sands and perfect water temperature and lots of food options for kids and everyone right opposite to the beach.

A big yes for an Family Beach Holiday time. Very busy during public holidays for sure but live the energy here.
About 2 hours up the coast from Brisbane.
Parking is not easy (always) but it helps save much time and effort if you just drive straight to the paid indoor parking for a flat rate of $12.5 then all is good.

My favourite beach anywhere in the world. Large horse-shoe shaped beach with beautiful sand. Two areas patrolled by lifesavers. One closest to town has nice waves, but is very busy during peak seasons. At the opposite end of the beach it's a lot calmer and family friendly. A great beach to walk along any time of the year. The local council has done a great job in recent years to improve the board walk and esplanade. Love it!
Paul Horrocks — Google review
Love this beach! Beautiful family spot but swim between the flags as there are loads of rips and submerged rocks. Very rough swell so good for boogey boarding. Low tide reveals many hidden rock pools. Lots of shells and pretty rocks!
Wildflowerry — Google review
This is our second time back at Mooloolaba beach and we are so happy to be here. The beach itself is centrally located with the surf club, shops and food outlets a stones throw away. There are plenty of tables and grassy areas for a picnic. The lifeguards usually patrol here when you swim between the flags. It’s a close walk to accommodation such as the mantra and others. Parking is relatively easy with a few parking lots close by.

Love this beach! Great walking track alongside the beach with some nice shady areas. Great combination of bigger waves for surfing and calm waters for a relaxing dip.
Georgia Longden — Google review
Lovely beach for a stroll in the morning. Very busy..

Best day out in ages! Beautiful beach! The waves were fun to jump in. Definitely a must do with friends and family. Hint, take a shade or gazebo cos the sun can get really hot out. 🔥⛱️

Early Morning vibes over the weekend is always great with many early-bird people running, walking and swimming.
Good coffee and brekki places are around the centre of the beach, highly recommending! :)

Enjoying our two visits here this week. Has plenty to offer on the foreshore. Can be busy at times.

Beautiful beach with many good restaurants surround it, just become quite noisy sometimes but if you walk near the beach in evening, it won't be that noisy anymore and you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere nicely with the sea breeze 💗
Tú Hoàng Thị Thanh — Google review
Love this beach, it's got everything - showers, toilets, surf club, undercover eating areas, playground, plenty of parking and it's close to a tonne of shops.
Best to hit it up early to stake your spot and avoid the crowds.
Amazing sunrises too.

Oh my ‘most bestest’ ever, love-this-place beach on the Sunshine Coast. Good showering facilities, very well maintained, good choice of eateries on the promenade.

It's a magical beach with great people who say, "Hi" as they pass you. Great shops and restaurants at the Mooloolaba Esplanade. Kick a beer and enjoy the view. Good vibes at Mooloolaba! This place is better than Noosa!
Jamie Zafir — Google review
Beautiful beach. Yes there's a safe and patrolled swimming area. However, I tend to walk along the beach to where it's less populated. Lots of space to sit, read a book, watch the surfers, explore the multitude of rock pools that expose themselves at low tide, close my eyes and listen to the ocean. Or grab an ice-cream or take-aways from one of the many restaurants and sit on the beach. Or watch an amazing sunset, moonrise, whatever! Love this beach!

Love the vibe, but still prefer Sufer Paradise in Gold Coast. There were not many shells and the sand texture seems different from Surfers’s Gold Coast

I usually body surf at the beach, but last Christmas Eve we watched the fireworks! Fun.
The SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium provides a fun and educational experience for children with its diverse displays and engaging programs. Although it may be pricier than other zoos and aquariums, the seal show is a cool highlight. However, it can get crowded in the seal show area despite requests for social distancing. Booking ahead makes entry easy and the friendly service adds to the overall positive experience.
Great day out for the kids booking time made it easy to get in and the service was very friendly. The seal show was great and the new penguin 🐧 area was interesting. All the displays are well thought out and there is heaps to appreciate if you take a closer look.
Andy Michelis — Google review
A most enjoyable morning (23 July 2022) spent wandering around the aquarium. Great to see such a wide variety of sea life in one easily accessible location. Only wished I'd brought along a better camera to take more worthy photos. Certainly recommend this for kids of all ages. Sea Lions rock, by the way!
sportz fotos — Google review
We did the behind the scenes tours and also the photos with the seal. It was definitely worth the extra amount in my opinion.
The aquarium and exhibits brought out the inner child in me. All the different species of underwater creatures was fascinating and a bombardment of colours and lighting.
The staff were friendly and the food at the cafe was decent and reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend a visit.
Ben Taylor — Google review
Such a great day out. Educational exhibits and genuinely such cool views through the tunnel. We bought tickets in advance and went early in the week - almost no crowd! My one suggestion to the aquarium - it would be great to get free wifi! I had no reception throughout most of the building so I couldn't scan all the QR codes for more info and see the pics.
Lydia Boyle — Google review
Had a really fun weekend. Such an amazing experience seeing all the different aquatic animals up close. The highlight of the day was the seal show.
Just a little trouble getting a parking spot because it was a weekend.
Tshewang Tobden — Google review
Had a day out. Very enjoyable.
Lots of sea life to look at. Good variety. The map they supplied in a graphical manner was a bit convoluted especially with the ramp leading to the lower penguin space and the ocean tunnel.
The seal presentation was respectful and fun. Cute penguins. Ocean tunnel was cool.
Leevan Jiang — Google review
Beautifully designed and presented.
Well maintained, and looked after.
Ticket prices are a bit high, but totally worth having the sea life experience.
Great seal performance. Witnessed Sharks and amazing sea creatures.
Small cafe in the corner.
Bit hard to find parking on the weekends especially.
Although, huge parking areas are around. Overall, it was a good experience..
ISH — Google review
Amazing place to take the children. A little bit expensive compared to other aquariums and zoos which had more to look at. The seal show was cool, however expect to be crammed in like sardines. They request everyone to be 1.5m but we were almost sitting on the next persons lap at the seal show, a bit pointless having the set times as it was jam packed in there.
Amy Brandis — Google review
I haven’t been here since I was 7, it didn’t disappoint as I’m 28 now and loved it all, from the petting tanks to the seal show, and all the other exhibits. Had a fantastic day, about 3 hours spent in total. Would recommend
Ben whyte — Google review
Nice couple of hours with the kids. No food kiosks in there anymore and all OK to bring your own. Animals looked very well looked after. Seal show was lovely, very informative. Make sure you pre-purchase tickets. Happy days
Clare todd — Google review
There are no wheelchair car parks. Staff suggested stopping in the loading zone, unloading and then parking. There were buses parked there though so stopped in the road. Also I shouldn't be leaving my client alone while I park the car. We enjoyed the seal show.
Tasha — Google review
The behind the scene tour was informative and interesting. Amy was friendly and knowledgeable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. it didn't appear to be crowded as we walked around the aquarium. Seal show was fun and entertaining, advise you to get there early as the stands full up quick.
Dennis Fowler — Google review
What a great way to fill in a few hours on the Sunshine Coast, especially on a hot or rainy day. It is advisable to buy tickets online and arrive early to avoid crowds. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are many tanks full of wonderful sealife, from starfish, seahorses, jellyfish and lobsters. There are penguins, seals and frogs. Of course the seal show is a highlight as well as the shark under water tunnel. So many giant stingrays and sharks as well as turtles and giant gropers.
Kids and adults will have a ball. There is a cafe and air-conditioned playground for the kids.
Such a great outing and definitely recommend visiting if you are at the Sunshine Coast.
Leanne (Beach Travel Wine Podcast) — Google review
The aquarium was quite small. However, it was packed with interesting exhibitions. The conditions of the sea creatures looked fine. There were quite a lot of visitors even during weekday to my surprise. The show was interesting and the penguins were really cute !
Roy Chan — Google review
Nice little attraction up the coast if you're holidaying for a few days. Always quite busy. We went on a weekday not on school holidays and was still a bit pokey to navigate with staff and other patrons. It's expensive for what it you get. Id find the kids would be just as interested looking around rock pools. The staff weren't overly friendly. The seal show is a highlight but I think they need more interactive experiences.

Absolutely love the place!
Have been here many times,
Here are some of the great things:
Amazing food - doughnuts there are great!
Amazing staff - well maintained area too!
Amazing views - great for taking photos
( I have some linked to my profile,

Lego exhibit they had was amazing too :D
Would come back again many times!

A true sunshine coast must.
I love how much love there is and how content all the animals are. This is my fourth visit and I'll continue to come back with my family! It's small but enough. Penguins in mating season has an interesting aroma lol ! 🐧

Such a fun day. Watched the seals show. Took the grand kids. Had an amazing day. They also make the best hot chips yum. Great gift shop.

Amazing time at Sea Life again today. Did the shark dive extreme activity and it was wonderful. Training was direct and clear with good examples. Staff were extremely knowledgeable about both the animals and diving which was a great combination
James Keele — Google review
Recently did the Shark Dive Extreme at Sea Life and it far exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to thank Charlie and Joel for their clear instructions and information during the dive. At all times I felt safe, had fun, and felt like I learned so much. The experience itself was a once in a lifetime sort of moment with sharks swimming mere centimetres away from me. Highly recommend if you are thinking of doing this.

This is our 4th annual pass. We come up from Brisbane very often as it is just such a wonderful visit. A must visit for everyone regardless of where you are from, and what age you are. Need I say anymore really?
Glen B — Google review
We love going to sealife with our little girl. It's free for her whilst she is under 3 so we got annual passes. Great experience for her being able to teach her about marine biology and conservation. We went on a Monday this time straight after school holidays finished lot of other preschool aged kids but wasn't to bad. Been told Sunday afternoons are quietest time which we usually try for.
Rita Everitt — Google review
Buy your tickets online in advance. Great experience for little kids. For adults you would get through it in a few hours. Seal show is great, you can get a photo with the seals too. Nice gift shop and the staff were all very friendly.
KG — Google review
I loved our visit here. Only stayed an hour, could easily have spent more time. I was really surprised how much sea life was on exhibit. My only complaint was that the cuttlefish tank seemed a little small for the poor fish.
craig bennett — Google review
We took two toddlers today and they had an awesome time. The exhibits are colourful and full of underwater life. The seal show was a favourite and good fun. Before we left we wandered through the gift shop, which had a good array of T-shirt’s, toys and knickknacks. Definitely worth going, no matter what your age! 😊
Tracey Giles — Google review
Sea Life aquarium is a wonderful place to see marine life and even some freshwater fish and creatures. Plan on 2-3 hours. Though not outdoors or spread over several acres, the spaces are well utilized. Very child friendly but also very interesting for adults of all ages. It can get crowded by noon. Maybe try arriving around noon and staying for the afternoon after all the early birds head out for lunch. Lots of parking at the wharf area. But probably gets full during holidays.
Andrew Brueske — Google review
Very busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly, was very difficult to find a car park.. for those with sensory issues, parents are not overly concerned about their kids wildly screaming and running around, and the tunnel can make you feel weird. All animals look well cared for, and the touch pool was a bit bare but still interactive and fun. Most staff engage with you, some more shy than others. The seal show was good. I would have loved it to be a bit longer. Seal photos are $30 per person. Overall, it was a great experience. I do appreciate the work Sealife does.
Take away: buy sustainable fish and always put your rubbish in the bin 😉
Charmaine Harris — Google review
First time here. Full of colour, very organised, well structured, (additional payable options available inside depending what more you want to do). Very clean and easily to follow route and takes 2 plus hours ( if you attend the tunnel tour and watch seal world show, as well as some other activities included in base price).
A lot of the interactive stuff however just didn’t work on the day of visit which was a pity because they promised so much and I felt it lacked a bit of the big WOW factor in comparison to similar type venues.
This huge pineapple is a popular landmark with steps to an observation deck, plus an on-site cafe.
Didn't actually visit the Big Pineapple. Went next door to the zoo, HQ Wildlife. We visited it twice to feed and have photos taken with the Meerkats and Koala living there. Lovely experience. It makes you appreciate the Animal Kingdom with some fantastic and cute animals housed there. Go, the whole family will enjoy it. My wife loved it.
Tom Harlow — Google review
I visited here on 19 th July 2022 and unfortunately it’s not even a shadow of its former glory! I often came here in the 1980s when it was a fully functional mega tourist facility. However since the new Nambour by pass went through patronage dropped off which is a shame. Currently it’s just a very basic unattractive cafe running at the front yard and due to Covid restrictions these is no access up the iconic big pineapple. In its hey day there were big “ everything “ all the way up the Sunshine Coast.Big bottle big cow big deer. There was even a big lawnmower! I just look forward to the time when this iconic landmark can be restored to full function with the cane train rides etc that made it all such a happy experience
JAMES ODONOGHUE — Google review
I am heartbroken. The bypass has killed this beautiful attraction. Combined with other factors around ownership and investment this once proud tourist icon is not what I remembered from my first visit in 2003 or even my last visit in 2013. Talking to the lovely lady at the cafe, COVID was the last nail in the coffin and no-one has made a serious attempt to bring the big pineapple back. I am posting just one photo as the rest just make me sad.
Reza Soekotjo — Google review
Went to check out the Big pineapple 🍍 only to arrive on the 30th March which it says it would be open & it was closed off & under construction 🚧
Very disappointed ☹️
Caroline Grant — Google review
Such a shame it's not fully open. It needs the owners to develop the site as the potential is huge. The train is great fun for the kids too.
Mike Edgley — Google review
The big pineapple was once a nice attraction but it looks like it's been let run down. We took our children in 2000 and they had a nice shop and a pine apple plantation, but not now. Unfortunately.
Michael 4 — Google review
A fun attraction and iconic tourist trap. Its worth a visit if you're nearby
Hugh Heggen — Google review
The pineapple itself is super cool! Still in decent shape for fun photos!
We went on a week day, midday, when it "should" have been open. It wasn't. The pineapple was locked up. Noone on premises. No train ride. Not even sure you do the ropes course
It's really a shame that it appears to be closed down now. It could be such a cute, quirky and fun tourist stop. Hopefully someone rescues this and revives it! 🍍
Melissa Campbell — Google review
It might be just a big pineapple, but it’s one of those iconic “big things” dotted around Australia. Up close it is actually very detailed (unlike some of the other “big things”) and make a great photo.
If you’re passing by then it’s definitely worth stopping for a photo. And it’s only 10 min from the Sunshine Coast airport.
Gustav — Google review
Currently, unfortunately it's not what it used to be. You can't go inside the pineapple, you can't ride the train, nothing is growing there and the shop has minimal stock. You can still take photos in front of the giant pineapple with minimal wait. I was told that big things are planned, so watch this space. Hopefully not too much longer.
Leonel Santos — Google review
Don’t waste you time.
Nothing worth while what a disappointment.
There is a pretty lame looking take away with a few tables outside. Everything is chained up. You can’t even go into the pineapple and the train isn’t operating. Nothing is.
The only thing you can do is take a pic of the big pineapple which doesn’t look that bad from the outside.
I read up about it on Wikipedia. You wonder how a place that had 1m visitors a year could go into receivership.
I went there A LONG LONG time ago and it was pretty dam good but wow what a disappointment now.
The only reason you’d come here is if you like to see and photo all the BIG things in Australia
Gina Portelli — Google review
Run down.
Basically not operational.
Small shop selling food and gifts.
Apart from getting a photo with the Pineapple, dont bother making a special trip to see it.
Shayne Poole — Google review
Well this place has died since I went as a child. Nothing to do here anymore. Go for a photo with a big pineapple (you can't go inside anymore). And that's about it! There is a treetop adventure climb thingy (that we didn't do, but looked fun. It seemed mostly primary schooled aged children were doing it). And there is a zoo here now, (gone are the days of a $5 feeding bag for the kangaroos.), We didn't do it as it's a different thing now. But looks pretty good. Had monkeys and cappyburras at least (from what I saw from the outside). Well my memories of the the glory days of the big pineapple are now only that memories. Go get a photo for nostalgia sake! Before they remove this last bit!
Christian Sommer — Google review
This is just a relic of what it used to be when I was here as a child and there was actually a pineapple plantation here along with cool train ride through the field. Now all that is left is the icon and a field of grass behind it. We've come here twice since those childhood memories and both times it's been bucketing with rain, perhaps the heavens are telling us something. Come for the memories because there isn't much left of anything else it used to be.
Eugene Foo — Google review
Great challenges for adults and children. There are height restrictions on the more challenging courses and low and easier courses for the kids. The staff are very supportive and ensure everyone is safe.
Lance Mackenzie — Google review
We did the tree top challenge and it's sooooo fun! It's safe doing the challenge and will definitely come back to finish the challenge. For my self, I need some warmth up to have the endurance to finish all the challenge. It's worth a visit and every penny. Just sore body on the next day.
Estela Q. Golledge — Google review
I knew one day that big pineapple would roll of its stand😐and one day it did!!! It rolled as fast as the speed of light down the street and smashed my car into smithereens😱😨😫🍍
Eze Cool — Google review
Opened on 15 August 1971, The Big Pineapple is an iconic heritage and tourism landmark in Queensland. If you’re driving along Bruce Highway, it is a sight that you definitely can’t miss. At 16 metres in height, it was first built for that purpose, to attract the attention of commuters passing by the area. Today, it is also home to the award winning Big Pineapple Music Festival.

It is yellow, big, and spikey. It fulfils all the conditions for a big pineapple. However my very vague memories of coming here as a 6 year old were a lot cooler. You can't go inside it anymore so it's basically a spot to pose in front of for a photo and then leave, which is what we did.
Sophie Charlotte — Google review
I visited here in 2008 and I loved it. Great experience. Amazing fresh pineapple and other products.
It seems it closed in 2010 and sat derelict since then. There is a tiny little cafe there which is barely worth mentioning.
Amazingly, they sell no pineapple products! The staff also seemed not really interested.
The actual pineapple is still there. But not worth your time to visit.

Kings Beach is a seaside district in the Sunshine Coast Region of Queensland, Australia. It lies due east of Caloundra CBD and had 2,788 residents according to the 2016 census.
Bulcock Beach is a renowned tourist destination that offers low-tide splash pools, crystal-clear blue waters, and a boardwalk. Visitors can indulge in various water sports or simply bask in the sun for relaxation. The beach also boasts numerous nearby cafes and restaurants that cater to different dining needs. In addition to the waterfront location, there are many accommodation options available for visitors seeking comfort during their stay.
Nice place to spend the day with access to surf beach or more tranquil waters, whatever takes your fancy. People fish off the esplanade further along and there's food places there too. Car park will get full quickly as it's small but there's a decent toilet block there. Good sized playground for the littler ones there also. Wheelchair accessible with ramp down to the sand. When it's low tide you can walk across to the tip of Bribie Island.

Bulcock Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is nothing short of paradise! Our visit left us in awe, and we can't help but give it a solid five-star rating.
This stunning stretch of coastline offers everything you could dream of in a beach destination. Crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and gentle waves make it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
One of the standout features of this beach is its family-friendly atmosphere. The calm waters and a dedicated swimming area make it perfect for kids, providing peace of mind for parents. The playground nearby is an added bonus, ensuring that the little ones stay entertained.
The boardwalk is another highlight, offering picturesque views and access to charming cafes and restaurants. It's a great place to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the coastal beauty. We particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood offerings at the nearby eateries—nothing beats the taste of fish and chips by the beach!
In summary, Bulcock Beach is a five-star destination that has something for everyone. Whether you're a beach lover, a family looking for a safe and enjoyable day out, or a couple seeking a romantic day out, this Sunshine Coast gem will not disappoint. We can't wait to return!

This beach is such a beauty. I rarely swim coz I fear of rips but this beach doesn’t have any waves. The view is very beautiful and have wide places to choose to lay your mat on and have a picnic day. Don’t forget to bring some cover as the sun is strong especially in summer.
Parking space can be challenging on weekends and holidays but there’s a free parking building just a fee meters from the beach. 😊😅

Beautiful board walk along the water front with lovely green space, bbq areas and public toilets, all well maintained and clean. Great place for relaxing and suntanning. It is also good to come here for a swim. Good walk along the beach, and there are many nice restaurants around this area. But we are here today for the sunset, and the view is simply stunning. You can see many people relax on the grass and enjoy the view during sunset time.

I'll never travel to Ipswich without this trip planner again
Beaches, dunes, marine life & several shipwrecks count among the attractions at this scenic reserve.
First stop on a private helicopter pub crawl. Unbelievably the “Gillian Island” feel. Would loved to have stayed longer.
Peta Kenworthy — Google review
Although the place is beautiful, it's definitely not suitable for humans. The weather is as hot as a desert, and you could get a sunburn in just 5 minutes under the sun. People are constantly applying sunscreen and jumping into the water to cool off. Unfortunately, I think this is the reason why all the coral appears to be dead.

I enjoyed my tour, doing snorkeling, kayaking, 4wd trip to the “dessert” and doing sand boarding.
You can just buy the ferry transfer and enjoy by yourself. It’s not that big.

Wonderful holiday destination. Very water sports or relaxation orientated. We did a 5 day cruise from Sydney to Moreton Island and return. My sister and I did Quad biking, kayaking in clear kayaks. The fish were amazing to see around the shipwrecks. Finished off with parasailing over the magical blue waters of Moreton Island. Then we cooled off in the beautiful clear waters before relaxing at the island bar and heading back to our cruise ship. A must do! We will be back Moreton Island! You left your mark on us!

the ferry ride is enjoyable and the captain points out all the local places on the foreshore which is pretty cool . also they arrange all of the baggage to be delivered to the rooms 👍
the dolphin feeding is pretty amazing and a good chance to get some pics .
all the staff on the island are really helpful and friendly we will be back in summer for sure !
The wifi is super slow but with a beach like that it doesn’t matter !!!

Beautiful island, you need a 4WD to explore unless you book a tour. Equipment hire is quite expensive but worth it to look at the wrecks and thousands of fish that inhabit the surrounding area. Worth a visit for sure!

Bribie Island Seaside Museum

Contemporary museum overlooking the bay exploring island history with a kids' zone & gift shop.
An enjoyable way to learn about Bribie Island history.

My kids absolutely loved this museum (age 5, 7 and 15). The 5 year old was asking to go back! I loved learning the history of the island, and the nostalgic 80s section was awesome.

Very nice place to visit when you are walking on the beach. The entry is free, very clean and well maintained, have some old videogame consoles for kids and lot of interesting things about the past of the Bribie Island culture and habits. Also a good place to refill your water bottle with filtered and cold water. :)

Zero acknowledgment of the original indigenous people of the area. No mention of their tribal names, languages, sacred places, artefacts or cultural perspectives on history of the area. Too much emphasis on the triumphant achievements of the European settlers (invaders). The place needs a complete overhaul and rethink

Bribie Island Seaside Museum has many interactive activities such as origami and a bird hunt for kids.
Interesting artefacts from Bribie Island history such as growth of tourism and arrival of holidaymakers via the popular steamboat ferry. There is an informative display about Bongaree who was Mathew Flinders travelling companion and the man who the town is named after. Feline lovers will appreciate the exhibit about Flinders seafaring cat Trim.
Take in the sight of a variety of sea creatures preserved in specimen bottles.
Learn about local reclusive artist Ian Fairweather including his extraordinary raft journey from Darwin to Roti, his love of local wildlife and use of Asian painting techniques.
Marvel at the distances flown by local migrating shorebirds.
Pleasing free outing.

The museum Is interesting for adults and kids. For adults there’s a wide variety of different historical collections relevant to the area. For kids (and big kids -ok, I’m Guilty) there is a free-drawing space with an “invitation” to do some more directed stuff.
Took three kids there and they stayed for over an hour looking and doing different things.

Booked early for the Ian Fairweather event this afternoon. What a fabulous event, presented extremely well by the museum staff and volunteers. What a lovely historical transport back in time with speakers that had pathed ways and interactions with Ian Fairweather. It was wonderful to then speak with others in the community that were locals from the past and life from the early years of Bribie.Highly recommend and would appreciate events such as this in the future.

Presented a workshop at the venue. It is a lovely space. Need to get better air-conditioning on such a hot day.
Thanks to Bernat and Nigel for taking us on our wreck dive today. We had a great time. All equipment was in excellent condition and the instructions were clear and consistent. Would totally recommend for any beginner and experienced divers.

It was a long line wait up, got told we could hire fins for the day so waited 30 mins in line and then to be told by another staff member that they don't do that and would have to hire the whole set which costed more so that wasted our time and this staff member was very rude/arrogant towards us. Did not appreciate staff not being on the same page, will not be hiring from here best to just buy your own gear elsewhere and bring it in on the day. They need to also update and have a better system in place when hiring items out especially with how busy it can get here.

We went on the 1,5hours guided snorkeling tour along the shipwrecks, which ended up being only half an hour of snorkeling with all the waiting and gearing up. We were disappointed of how little we got to see, especially with another 40 people in the water with us (there were about 4 groups in total with a guide each and we often got confused in the water who to follow). We ended up hiring a double kayak afterwards to go back to the wrecks and had so much more fun there - we even saw a turtle then. The snorkel tour is only worth it if your with kids or doing snorkeling the first time.

One of the many facilities in Morton Island resort. Allows online booking and good comms after booking, including ensuring that we are strong enough to kayak to the wrecks and get back. We had booked the wrecks tour, but cancelled it as the weather looked unpredictable and staff were happy to cancel it. We ended up hiring the kayaks and going to the wrecks ourselves the weather turned out to be good, which was a bit cheaper than the tour. The kayaking itself was tiring but the experience at the wrecks was worth it!

Apart from sunburn it was an amazing day out! Kayaking along the beach down to the wrecks was fun, and snorkeling around the wreck amongst the fish was fabulous. Definitely recommend to anyone who is interested

We went for an introductory scuba dive, first in pool then in the sea. Our guide Bernet was very friendly, helpful and we felt safe at all times. Would fully recommend !

Purely on the fact there’s no life guards. I nearly lost my sister to drowning, it was a traumatic holiday. I had to swim to her and risk my own life to help her. I was signalling people for ages for help, there was a boat with scuba divers and no one saw. Finally some foreigners on a kayak helped the both of us after minutes of struggle thankfully.
I asked the Venue if they ever have life guards and they said they never do.
This is more a warning, please be careful snorkelling at the ship wreck, if you are not a strong swimmer stay with a group of people even when swimming in or out!
Paige — Google review
Went for a snorkelling session.
Of my family of 4, my goggles were cracked and had to be replaced while we were halfway snorkelling. The replaced goggles did not get the "anti-fog" treatment so it was constantly fogging up.
But there were a great number of fishes to see at the wreck and other than my equipment-failures, the rest of my family had good fun.
There was also not as much care and attention as I would have preferred. The briefing session was done like a task that the staff had to go through and there was not much sense that the staff were genuinely keen to make the experience awesome for people who took part.
Overall, the location for snorkel was great. But the equipment, the logistics and the staff were nothing to shout about.

Wonderful diving of the Tangalooma Gravie and Tangalooma ship wreck.
It was above and beyond my expectations, I strongly recommend not only snorkelling it as the dives were so interesting.
Our dive instructor Alex made the dive experience so easy. His knowledge and professionalism in the water are second to none.

My sons did their open water scuba diving course here and had a brilliant time. The instructor Cameron is fantastic - knows his stuff and is patient and fun with the kids. The site was awesome as well, they did dives at the wrecks and saw turtles, sharks, and even lion fish. Highly recommended!

Tangalooma Bypass, Moreton Island QLD 4025, Australia
Evening feeding encounters with wild bottlenose dolphins, usually around sunset at an island resort.
its our first time to visit Tangalooma. It has a beautiful beach and fanstic emerald ocean colour.
Also we did many activities (4WD ATV, and fantastic experience interacting with feeding wild Dolphins)
Thank you to all Tangalooma staff and especially the manager-Mr.Grant .He Provide enthusiastic and professional commentary. Passionate about helping customers and did us a big favour.
One of the best place to visit with family. Serene!

We have booked for the wild dophin feeding but was told to cancel due to some flood reasons. At the island the staff told us that only guest at the resort can book for the feeding. As we are not the guest but on a one day trip, we are disappointed that we are given the wrong reason. Nevertheless we watch from the stand on the feeding. At the same time there was filming.

Loved the place. Lots of activities, great facilities. Beautiful location. Close to Brisbane. Easy to get to and lots to do when your there. Preferred watching the dolphins from the pier, but my daughter lined up 3 nights in a row to feed them. Definitely worth checking out

Fed 2 dolphins. I think the order of the dolphins made it a bit better.
Of the bucket of fish, I grabbed the ONLY wrong fish haha
My first feed was to Echo. Echo was a little rough, scared me because I didn’t expect him to push forwards so much, sort of pushed me backwards a bit.
My second feed was to Comet. I was expecting the chance of roughness so when Comet went for the bite I moved back a little scared that he’d get my hand in his mouth. Although Comet was gentle so I did pull the fish away from him 😅 just glad he was still gentle afterwards and went for his bite slowly.
Dexter Liu — Google review
Rare opportunity to feed wild dolphins right in the ocean by hand. Draws a fairly large crowd but they handle it quite well, especially given that the number of dolphins is unknown each night until they come in for a feed.

Took a long time to actually get to feed them. Short time in the water but an enjoyable experience. Very capable staff working in trying times. Recommend it to everyone.

If you want a really honest review, read this one. This review is from a P&O customer who came to the island via a cruise. We spent approx 1.5 - 2 hours on this tour. They gave food at the beginning which was average and we didn’t even get a chance to eat much as we arrived ON TIME and others arrived earlier and ate everything. A little disorganised there. Then we sat down for a presentation. Highly educational but not in a boring way. It was a very good presentation. Then we went to the beach and waited for some while to feed the dolphins. All this time you get super enthusiastic and excited to feed the dolphins but unfortunately when you get called, you put your hand in the water, the dolphin eats the fish, and they tell you to get out of the water. Overall you spend about 2 minutes with the dolphins and mind you, you’re not allowed to touch them. The 2 minutes was still great and staff were extremely nice, however don’t get mislead by the way they advertise this tour. This is exactly what happens and it is very unique but at the same time extremely disappointing especially since it is the most expensive tour on the island.
ekaterina chertenkova — Google review
Dolphin feeding was included in our Tangalooma package and it was obvious that many other had the same; after sunset loads of people lined up on the beach to feed a fish to the dolphins. To move all these people through quickly we had to line up in 5-6 queues after which we took turns entering the water. Our dolphin snatched the fish in a millisecond and we had to exit the water to allow the next person in. It was dark and we could only see a bit of the animal in the big lights that were directly toward the water. More of a factory-conveyor-belt than a nature experience unfortunately.

I definitely would do it again - the dolphin experience is something I won't forget and it's your chance to see a wild dolphin up close

Guenther H — Google review
Great experience. A couple of tips: it takes quite a while to cycle through everyone, so plan on lining up early. We were told 6:15, but line was already 50 deep by 6:10. You can bring your own camera/phone into the water with you as long as its one-hand operation.

Did an Explorer bus trip from the Carnival Splendor today .
The resort is just stunning with a huge variety of activity options & is now on my bucket list..
HOWEVER our bus driver Mark gave absolutely NO narration, information or descriptions on the shipwrecks, history or lay of the land as apparently the microphone wasn't working?
Why the hell NOT❓❓
At $170 for a day tour, we learnt nothing, zero nothing which was very disappointing to all the first time visitors Australian & International visitors. The only reason we learnt anything on the return trip was because a passenger was sitting up in the front seat asking questions..
Brett, the other driver was thoroughly informative & friends on his bus advised us of his expert narration.
A total waste of money.
The lunch sandwiches were delicious!

Unfortunately the dolphin feeding experience was quite underwhelming.
From the photos / videos we’d seen we were expecting quite an intimate experience with 10-15mins in the water with the dolphins.
It was more like 200 people and very commercialised.
There was a HUGE line to queue up. They then slowly checked everyone off a list and made you stand in another queue. Rather than splitting the people who lined up first to the front of the 5 smaller queues (which seems fair) they filled 1 queue and then moved onto the next. It also seemed like the perfect opportunity to get the feeding started so people got to enjoy the experience.
We waited at least 30mins before they then started a talk. At this point everyone was fed up, children were running wild & we couldn’t even hear the microphone. Finally we got 1 fish each and about 1 min in the water with the dolphin. Before having to grab our bags and leg it to the boat.
SUCH an inefficient experience, which felt very rushed and impersonal. The resort could manage the whole feeding process so much better so it was a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

4 dolphins came in during our feed time. They were very playful. Quickly took the fish from us. My 6 year old was mesmerised by them.
Unique walkway honoring the namesake pop group with statues, photos & a musical light show.
Great free streetside museum that’s open to the public 24-7! Really cool, commemorating the Gibb brothers careers and rise to fame! At night they boast a light show and there is a continuous stream of their biographies and highlights in an outdoor big screen and of course their many hits! Then you can stroll down the boardwalk at Moreton Bay! Beautiful!

This is a walk way between shops, so totally free. It's set out so well. You can take a leisurely stroll whilst listening to Bee Gee's music which is played continuously. There is so many photos and information to look at and read along your stroll. The status are great and very life like. It is out doors so if raining you will need an umbrella.

Awesome tribute and mini museum to the Bee Gees. Inside not know that they were from Moreton Bay and the entire display was not only very informative but entertaining and organised very well. There is a free light show on every night along with a documentary interviewing the Bee Gees. Great trip down memory lane as my parents loved the Bee Gees and I listened to them as a kid.

Bee Gees Way is located in Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe QLD 4020.
This unique place was put together in collaboration with Barry Gibbs, who is the living member of the Bee Gees.
This 70 metre walk, though Bee Gees Way takes into account the musical history of this fabulous family group of talented musicians, their truly wonderful range of music created over many years together.
You can relax & listen to the many songs & videos that are available 24 hours a day.
The wonderful facilities that have been created through Barry Gibbs & others are definitely worth visiting this magnificent area of the Redcliffe Peninsular.
You can sit down & just take in the nostalgic range of everything that the Bee Gees had to offer over the decades past.

A fantastic (and free!) side street museum dedicated to the Bee Gees and commemorating the Gibb brother's rise to fame. There's a wide range of information boards, photos, status and music playing, in addition to a television screen streaming their biographies and highlights of their careers. In the evening there's a light show and this attraction is great for all ages (our son loved it too!).

A successful street montage on the life and lives of the Bee Gees, the three Gibb brothers, and the family's ups and downs. This is a very honest presentation that benefits from have time to read the details. Very positive, can get uncomfortably busy and cramped. The tinny music is a bit too much. Good to see the display is lovingly maintained. Definitely not a fake.
Great shopping centre, it has everything! Really clean and modern. Easy to park and walk around.

Convenient shopping centre, better than Chermside as it's a lot less busy. Always easy to find a car park. Great atmosphere in the outdoor dining area. Also great facilities for families with young children. Good parents rooms with private areas for feeding babies, baby change facilities, parents/child toilets and toddler play areas.

There has to be a more streamline way for people to exit the car parks. During peak and non peak times I seem to always get caught behind someone that has an issue with payment. Either way Westfield North Lakes has a great range of shops and has always got ample parking.

Good Westfield with a good selection of retailers. The only thing a don't like about this centre is the layout is shocking in terms of design. There are three main walkways in here but none of them are interconnected, so you have to walk all the way back the way you came if you want to go to another section.

It is a shopping centre, they are for convenience, not so much for pleasure.
Very busy, especially in the food court on weekends.

Absolutely breathtaking. A must do for all of Brisbane's inhabitants.
The journey to and from is quite the experience too. Hop a passenger ferry ride from Cleveland to North Stradbroke Island, services available 7 days a week and about 15 bucks a head (students get half rate). Vehicle ferries too are possible, but be prepared to dish it out (about 70-100 bucks each way) and would need to be booked well in advance.
Comfy ferry ride! Stay inside with some a/c on your face, or get adventurous and get some gale strength sea air puffing out your cheeks on the top deck seating area. I've heard that one of the ferries even has a café of sorts. Ride time - 45 mins.
The bus journey (Go-cards won't work) is $10 for the entire day, as many bus rides within the island as you please, again 50% off for students. Get ready to walk a fair bit within the island, though, as buses may not be around every 10 mins like in the city.
The bus journey from the ferry point ends at North Straddie's gorge walk. Ride time - 30 mins~.
The gorge walk - The sights are too pretty to be true. Our attempt on a mildly sunny day produced crystal blue ocean waters, refined golden sands, and sculpted cliffsides that are simply too beautiful to describe. The gorge walk takes about 20-30 mins to complete and is a fair stretch to your legs (especially if you're lugging around some food and drink).
You finish the trail almost at where you started (it's basically a big loopy circuit on the cliffside) and camp it out with a picnic sheet on the grassy banks overlooking the clear blue sea. Sightings of sea turtles and whales are quite a common occurrence. Mind the 'roo poo, though. Plenty of fellas hopping around, with a blatant disregard to the touristy kind, carrying on with their business!
End the day with a dip in the sea, the Cylinder beach is about a 45 min walk/5 min bus ride (if you time your journey right - we didn't!). The indoor showers/changing rooms at the beach could be a little better maintained, but to be honest, it was really no big deal!
All in all, a Saturday well spent. Happy days!

Amazing public gardens. Many beautiful lush zones to explore, it rivals most botanic gardens we've visited. Two small, but very cleverly designed and lovely play equipment spaces. Again, clean and well maintained. The larger of the two is aimed at younger children and my toddler and baby had a wonderful time exploring the space. The pathways are clean and clear, the whole park was immaculately maintained and tended too. We saw lots of cheerful workers who were all happy to stop and wave and chat to my 2 year old who was fascinated with their ATVS and bright uniforms. There was a more than ample amount of BBQs and covered picnic tables. Parking was easy to find on street within the park and we paid a very reasonable $5 an hour and were a three metre walk from the bridge entrance. Our only complaint was that the Parkland Explorer train is no longer running, it's been moved out to the Ipswich Rail Museum. It would have been absolutely magical to ride the train through the park and we very much hope it is reinstated soon!

Amazing with so many beautiful flowers. Easily accessible by public transport and a great place for slightly older people because the walking path will suit their needs. I had an amazing volunteer who explained to me a little bit about history and different flowers there. There's even a children's playground and plenty of quiet spaces to catch up on your reading.

What a beautiful parkland. Bursting with spring colours and plenty of paths to explore. We saw lots of water dragons in and around the gardens and water. Everywhere we went we could hear the sound of running water. Just beautiful. The kids enjoyed a play at the playground and loved all the creative seats and vegetable gardens as well. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful and well maintained park! It’s good to see that there are many seating areas, toilet is nice and tidy. There’s a flower exhibition during our visit and it was great to see! Hats off the Roma park management and to all of your gardeners!

Have visited this parkland many times since it opened in 2001 & it never fails to please. Spread out over 27 acres, the vibrant displays of flowers are changed frequently, attracting birds & lizards. There are walkways & water features plus a great onsite cafe. A place to relax & enjoy so close to the centre of town

Exceptional gardens, ingeniously designed planting and layout packs a huge variety of experiences from walking through tree canopies to exploring cool shaded fern gullies with garden rooms of bright flowers and interesting water features. If you love nature and only have time to explore one place in Brisbane this would be my top recommendation. Bring a sun hat and camera! Congratulations to the talented gardens team for their work and to Council for having the vision to keep these gardens so well maintained as the gardens have grown into a superb experience for tourists and residents alike!

Great place to take the family for a picnic. Usually has a lot of free events on throughout the year. The gardens are always so vibrant & very well maintained, with cool garden designs to keep you intrigued. Great place for photographers to come take photos of nature. Does have public toilets, a park for the little ones, bubblers & a lovely Cafe.

Fantastic. A great place for full day out. There is plenty to see and do. The parks are family friendly and there was plenty of seating available at the time of visit. The amenities were clean and functional. They also had disability support available and mothers change rooms as well.
I have been told that there is an excellent guided tour available which makes the Parkland even more interesting. I have not had that experience as at time of this review.

Awesome parkland, lots to explore. The children's play area is good, the water fall was picturesque and the toy train journey was really good for the kids. It had a bit wait time, though, but worth it. The gardens are beautiful. A good place to spend a day.

Absolutely beautiful gardens fitting for a clean city like Brisbane! Lots to do here and easy to get lost in adventure while going for a casual walk. The gardens are well maintained with waterfalls and water park features to provide lush ambient sounds drowning out the city noise. Very relaxing place!

A very relaxing place to visit in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. There are multiple zones through the parkland dedicated to different types of garden and flora.
Many flower beds are in full bloom, with others not far away. Fragrance permeates the air combined with vivid colours, which can be appreciated by all.
The park has multiple seating and viewing areas where people can stop and enjoy their surroundings. The one detraction from this is the multiple signs everywhere telling you what you can't do.
Accessibility is good for all throughout the park via wide pathways, which is great for those who are mobility restricted.
There are picnic and fantastic playground areas catering to families. There are multiple picnic sites with BBQs. The playgrounds are integrated with the gardens and the terrain, allowing for a great experience for the younger ones.
There are ample public facilities (toilets, baby change, etc) which are well maintained and clean. There are also cafe/shop options. However, the ones internal to the parkland are only open on weekends.
I appreciated the ANZAC corner, which had a very well maintained area for quite remembrance.
It is a small annoyance, but it is a pity that the external entrances are so far apart.
It is a great place to visit with something new to see/discover every time you wander in.

What a magical place. Enjoy miles of walking/biking trails amongst the largest sub tropical garden in the world. The grounds are beautifully maintained, very clean, and peaceful. There are numerous large lawn areas for picnics and tables set throughout the park. The children's garden is nestled under the trees with plenty of playground equipment. Kudos to the creators and those who care for it.

Roma Street Parkland is a tranquil haven nestled in the heart of Brisbane. This lush and meticulously landscaped park is a breath of fresh air, both figuratively and literally, in the midst of the city's urban landscape. The park is a testament to thoughtful urban planning, offering a diverse range of experiences for visitors.
One of the highlights of Roma Street Parkland is its beautifully curated gardens. From the stunning Spectacle Garden with its vibrant floral displays to the calming Rainforest Walk, there's something for every nature enthusiast. The meticulously maintained lawns and water features add to the park's serenity.
The park also boasts excellent recreational facilities, including playgrounds for children, making it a great family destination.

Well-maintained and beautiful gardens in the middle of the city. Lots of street parking spots around the gardens, but can get busy on a beautiful day. For a first timer exiting at the same spot as entering can be tricky, so keep note of the entry point.

Spectacular. If you are new to Brisbane or haven't been yet (and love gardens), you must go. A fantastic array of flowers, trees, and waterways. Sealed paths or board walks. Located right next to Roma St station in the city.

Really great park. Beautifully manicured gardens. Fantastic lawns to chill on and play sports L. Amenities are clean. Lots of tables and Bbq's. Fun play ground for kids - not big enough though. .I think the only thing that has changed and for the worse is the train costing $6 each to ride. It was gold coin donation just 6 years ago.

A very nice park with only one negative point. Many plastic bottles in the pond and the small creek which are not removed. If you are in a wheelchair you can easily reach certain points on your own when you are sporty, you can for the upper part you need help.

Roman Street Parkland in Brisbane is a true urban oasis, a gem nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you step into this lush paradise, you're greeted with a sense of tranquility that is hard to find in the bustling cityscape. The park's well-manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds, and towering trees offer a picturesque escape that invigorates the soul. It's not just the greenery that makes Roman Street Parkland exceptional; the thoughtfully designed walking paths, which meander through the park, invite visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, all while basking in the beauty of nature.
The attention to detail in this park is astounding. The playgrounds are a delight, offering a safe and exciting environment for children to play and explore. The benches strategically placed throughout the park provide perfect spots for relaxation or for simply soaking in the serene atmosphere. The water features add a calming element, their gentle sounds providing a soothing backdrop to the natural setting.
The park's maintenance team deserves a special mention for their relentless efforts in keeping the space pristine and welcoming. Their hard work ensures that every visit to Roman Street Parkland is as enjoyable as the last.

Absolutely amazing experience when visiting! Highly recommend for both tourists and locals. The scenery was magnificent. So many different flowers, plants, trees, water features, and little critters were there to soak in!
The sounds of the city are completely drowned out, which contributed amazingly to a quiet and peaceful experience. The abundance of flora made the air smell sweeter and clean.
There is a playground within the area for little ones to enjoy and to give parents and guardians a spot to sit and rest. It was fairly clean all things considered, and hazards are limited.
Multiple events are held at this location throughout the year for families to enjoy, and they're rather spectacular!
A huge highlight of this location is its accessibility. I had 0 trouble getting around with my wheelchair from start to finish. The pathways are wide enough to accommodate more than one wheelchair user side by side, and the steepest hills are still manageable when using a manual wheelchair.
I intend to visit again, and highly recommend this location for all ages.

Eagle Street Pier is a shopping mall located on the northern city side of the Brisbane River in Brisbane, Australia. It has more than 15 restaurants and bars and is popular with both locals and tourists. There are weekend markets held here, as well as the ferry terminal for both City Hoppers (a free service) and City Cats. The mall has plenty of open public space for taking a break and enjoying its great riverfront views.
Boarded a grand old lady of the Brisbane River, the Kookaburra paddle wheeler. We were treated to a fabulous three course meal while we watch the lights of Brisbane go by. Great night enjoyed by all of us.

Beautiful scenery and good photo taking opportunities. Food is a little on the expensive side but worth the experience. Some restaurants you can eat for $12-15/pp, however some are $30+/pp. Would be amazing to watch the sunset here! Also has a nice boardwalk if you are into walking by the water.

What a delightful dinner experience. The oysters were exquisite, the scallops were succulent and the vegetables were delicious.
The only thing I'd do differently is get a time delay between the steak - which was cooked exactly how I asked and full of flavour- and the lobster so I could fully enjoy the freshness if both meats.
The service was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.

Beautiful area! Within walking distance to the CBD and botanical gardens. Beautiful outlook over the river, with boats moored in front and Kangaroo Points cliffs towering up on the other side. The high rise architectural design here is phenominal. There are walking and bike tracks all along the river. The cafes here cater to the high class consumer with a diverse range of cultural gastronomy on offer (i.e.; latin, asian, western cuisine etc and coffee). Unfortunately the area lacks options for those on a lower budget. Otherwise it is a very pituresque area, well worth investigating!

Nice spot for an early morning cooked breakfast. Amazing views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. Lots of choices of where to eat. Meet up with friends for a memorable day. Enjoy a walk or bicycle ride after, along the esplanade. One of Brisbane's little secrets worth hunting out.
This elegant Brisbane casino and hotel has a delightful high tea for mothers, with bubbly wine and delicious food. It's also home to 6 restaurants and 5 bars.
I don't visit here often, nor been since the beginning of the pandemic.

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter for her birthday. We booked a king parlour room with breakfast included. We found parking easy and affordable, on check in we were told we were gifted a $50 food/beverage credit for any bar / restaurant in either the hotel or casino. We were also given a late check out of 12pm without asking which was very much appreciated. The room was perfect. The breakfast included a choice of one cold and one hot dish from a list of each. The location was perfect. The staff were all very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Ah the sounds of casino winners all around. Sadly, not me. I may as well have thrown my money on the floor and gone outside to enjoy the velvet evening air.
On the plus side, there are tons of slot machines and it’s a lively place. Join The Star Club for some good perks.

Look, great hotel, service was perfect, you can hardly fault the place, but a word of warning to anyone looking to hire the Casino Suite here. DO NOT let them give you room 3250! The room itself when you walk in is amazing, but upstairs there is an ensuite that has a continuous running water issue in the pipe in the floor. You can hear it..... ALL NIGHT. I asked them to check and they say it is normal. I couldn't sleep a wink and closing the door did nothing.
Like I said, the place is amazing though, just stay away from that room.

Amazing experience staying at The Treasury! The rooms (and the ceiling heights!) were incredible, and the vibe of the whole hotel was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were all phenomenal, particularly Grant (concierge) and Christina (restaurant). Grant anticipated all our needs and was so personable. Christina was such a lovely and attentive waitress. Plus the food portions included with the breakfast were huge! The hotel is also very close to the Botanical gardens and to all the food and shops, so a great location for us. The whole experience was great - we'll be staying here every time we go to Brisbane from now on.

Superb location, nice staff, amazing architecture (back to 150+ years ago - high ceiling, dark wood etc)
Very convoluted structUre, it’s 2 separate buildings with parking in between (under a park that separates buildings) it’s hard to find your room, reception, restaurant, parking, lifts, gym, everything.
Lighting inside the room was way less than enough. Had difficulty finding my stuff in the early morning.
Will I stay here again? No
Will I come again for a visit or nice meal/coffee? Definitely yes

The Casino itself is old and rundown, hence why it is being replaced I guess. Carpet and general interior needs a renovation.
Lack of selection with electronic gaming machines as well, heavily focused on dragon links, dollar storms and bullfighters.
Tables are still good, though hard to find a spot when it’s really busy.
Service was great, had some really friendly and professional dealers, particularly “Den” was great. Personable, fun and respectful all at once.
Beverage options extremely limited, same as catering options.
All in all a good experience but bring on the new casino.

To the staff all we could say was thank you for the most amazing experience we've ever had staying at a hotel

I've been here many times. Great atmosphere and great food. The reason for the 4-star rating is due my recent experience (April 2022), where the meals all came out at different times, waiting at least 5 to 10 minutes per meal, meaning people started eating so as to not let the food get cold, whilst others watched. Other than that, perfect.

I recently visited the Brisbane casinos, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While the service left much to be desired, the overall building, spacious rooms, and the abundance of slot machines and live gaming tables were impressive.
Let's start with the positives. The architecture and design of the Brisbane casinos are truly remarkable. The building itself is a sight to behold, with a blend of modern and classic elements that create a luxurious atmosphere. The spacious rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a pleasant stay during my visit.
One of the highlights of the casinos was the extensive selection of slot machines. There were plenty of options to choose from, ensuring that even the most avid slot player would find something to enjoy. Additionally, the live gaming tables offered a variety of classic casino games, from blackjack to roulette, providing entertainment for all types of gamblers.
However, the service aspect left much to be desired. The staff seemed a bit disinterested and lacked the warmth and attentiveness one would expect in a high-end establishment. It was evident that the customer service could use some improvement, and this aspect of the experience did mar the overall visit.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that some of the gaming areas felt a bit dated. While the building itself was impressive, some of the equipment and furnishings in the gaming areas could use a refresh to match the modern aesthetic of the rest of the facility.
In summary, the Brisbane casinos offer a unique experience with their stunning building, spacious rooms, and a wide array of gaming options. However, the service quality and the dated aspects of the live gaming areas were disappointing. If you're primarily interested in the ambiance and gaming choices, it's worth a visit, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar service experience.

Took a visiting business colleague for breakfast at LAB. Service was great. Food was excellent. Coffee was hot and I just love the old worldly charm of the place. I feel as though I'm in a luxurious and charming early to mid 1900's Vienna hotel. High ceilings, thick walls and dark wood panelling. Some beautiful old hotels like this in Germany too. An elegance we seem to be missing being such a young country. Only my opinion and some may not agree with me and that is allowed.
Raymond Row — Google review
As you look at the old building from the outside and the surroundings, it seems almost out of place. Inside also has an old school charm as i wonder if the lift will work or should I just take the stairs. The room is big, and the ceiling is high. I sink into the soft king bed with pillows full of clouds and snuggle into the blanket with the air-conditioning on. I fill up the bathtub with bubbles. As i sip on a glass of champagne. In this room, the windows are on the inside, so there is no view.
I give 5 stars to the night manager, who i think his name is Joe. For being very polite as i turned up late from a stressful day travelling.
Overall the staff were nice. Location is easy to walk to places or catch public transport. Parking was not hard to find.

This casino is located in an old building, which is nice and interesting, but it needed to be renovated inside the building for a better atmosphere and feeling. The casino looks too old, low quality air-conditioning with limited table games. Most of the bars look not fancy and/or luxury. This is a place people come to spend money on and enjoy. Hence, it is necessary to evaluate Brisbane casino for sure to grab more people and more money!

What a great experience we had at the Treasury Hotel. We managed to get a great deal online for the weekend, and included parking, breakfast and $50 off our meals at night that we had at the Black Hide and The Fat Noodle over at the Casino.
Every staff member was professional, friendly and helpful, and their attention to detail for our anniversary was really appreciated. We have mentioned our anniversary a few times before at different venues, but there was never any recognition of the moment. We were given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, and our dinner reservation at the Black Hide was also acknowledged with the best seat in the house and complimentary dessert. Then each breakfast we were made to feel a little special as well. Not that we were expecting all of that, but it makes a difference to your stay when it happens.
The rooms were a decent size for 2 people but felt a lot larger due to the high ceilings. It would have been nice to be able to open the door onto the verandah for some fresh air and to be able to appreciate the view outside more, but I guess they are locked for safety reasons. The facilities in the room were pretty good and what you would expect for the price. The bed was really comfortable too. Some areas looked a little tired, perhaps just due to the age of the building, but overall the hotel was very clean, with housekeeping doing a great job in our room.
There was a real sense of nostalgia wandering the hallways and you could imagine what it was like in times past, as they've done a great job of keeping many of the original features and character of the building.
Despite all the construction going on with the new casino, we didn't hear any noise. This might be different though during the week or if you have a room on the eastern side or southern side.
The location is probably one of the best in the city, in my opinion. South Bank is easily accessible, the Botanic gardens are a short walk away, and it's 5 minutes to the mall.
Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely go back. I'd highly recommend staying here.

A lot of aboriginal art as you'd expect, some modern European art but not as much as I was hoping to see as I'm interested in all art not just one culture. The Gallery of Modern Art is a must-visit destination for any art lover visiting the city. The gallery is located in a beautiful building and is home to a stunning collection of contemporary art.
The gallery's collection spans a range of styles and mediums, from painting and sculpture to video and installation art. The works on display are thought-provoking and inspiring, and showcase some of the most innovative and cutting-edge art being created today.
The layout of the gallery is well-designed, with ample space between the exhibits and plenty of natural light. The gallery also has a number of comfortable seating areas where visitors can take a break and reflect on the art they have seen.
One of the highlights of the gallery is the regular exhibitions and events that are held throughout the year. These showcase the work of both established and emerging artists and provide a unique insight into the contemporary art world.
The staff at the gallery are knowledgeable and friendly, and are always on hand to answer questions or provide information about the art on display. They also offer guided tours and workshops, which are a great way to deepen your understanding of the art and artists on display.
Overall, the Gallery of Modern Art is a world-class institution that is well worth a visit. Whether you are a seasoned art enthusiast or a casual observer, there is something for everyone here. The gallery offers a unique and engaging glimpse into the world of contemporary art, and is a true gem in the cultural landscape of the city.

It's such a nice museum with very beautiful layouts, and the exhibition is so well presented with good commentary and background of the artwork. It's very quiet and there are staff walking around to make sure everything is well organised. There's also a little gift shop, toilets and cloak room at the entrance. The best thing is that it's free!

My mum and I loved the Fairy Tales exhibition. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Exhibits were engaging and facilities were clean and accessible.
I would’ve loved to have purchased something from the gift shop for my kids but found everything pretty expensive. A lovely collection of items inspired and front the exhibition though.

Nice place regardless of weather condition.
Specious, clean, modern, changes every few months. Great opportunities for yound artist and groups.
Queensland Art Gallery was established in 1895 and moved to its current residence at South Bank in 1982. It was joined by the Gallery of Modern Art in 2006 and the galleries now house a globally significant collection of contemporary art from Australia, Asia and the Pacific.
If in Brisbane it's nice place to visit.

I love the exhibits artworks here, the modern art displayed is tasteful and refreshing unlike most "morderm art" in other museums which is literally trash. I also love how the galleries are setup and the flow of traffic is rather easy and the staff are really very polite and friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back here on the next chance I get to visit Brisbane

This is my favourite gallery/museum in Brisbane by far. It always seems to get a good set of exhibitions each year and has built a good collection for the free parts of the gallery. Kids love it, and there are always good activities for them. Great restaurant, too, but you need to book!

As someone who loves art, I was delighted to visit this free art museum in Brisbane. The collection is impressive, with a diverse range of artwork from both local and international artists. I particularly enjoyed the contemporary pieces and the thought-provoking exhibitions that challenge traditional ways of thinking. However, compared to the Queensland Art Gallery, which is also free to enter, I found that this museum lacked some of the depth and breadth in its collection. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're on a budget and looking for a cultural experience in the heart of the city. The museum also has a gift shop where you can pick up a souvenir to take home. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this museum to anyone looking for a dose of art and culture.

@QAGOMA (Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art) in Brisbane stands as a testament to the dynamic confluence of art, culture, and community. Located gracefully alongside the Brisbane River, its architectural splendor is enhanced by the tranquil waterscapes outside.
Spanning both historical and contemporary art, QAGOMA provides a well-rounded view into the artistic evolution, making it a journey from the classics to the contemporary.
The exhibitions are diverse and insightful, weaving together poignant narratives with captivating visuals. Special mention goes to their extensive collection of Indigenous art which paints a vivid picture of Australia's rich First Nations heritage.
The gallery's interactive spaces cater to a broad audience, ensuring that art is more than just a visual treat, but an immersive experience.
A hidden gem within the gallery is its comprehensive library. Stocked with a vast array of resources, it's a haven for researchers, students, and art enthusiasts alike. And the best part? It's accessible to everyone, free of charge.

After soaking in the art, the in-house café offers a delightful respite. Serving up delicious bites with views of the river, it's the perfect space to relax and reflect. Plus, the added charm of a quaint little café corner ensures you can enjoy a quiet moment with a cuppa.

We bought tickets for the exhibitions on display eX De Medici and Michael Zavros which were both excellent. The gallery spaces are fantastic, modern, spacious and easy to navigate. The staff were very helpful. There is a cloak room, an excellent cafe, and a shop on site. There was only one other free exhibition which was a little disappointing but such is life.

I tend to question "modern art" as it seems anything is considered "art" now, from sneezing to putting flowers in your face. You don't need skill or talent anymore, so I found it amusing when I walked past a sight I assumed was still being set up & thought "well now, THAT could be considered ART!" It's so ridiculous that no one can tell the difference if there wasn't a tape around it! It is also such a huge waste of space with the exaggerated sizes of rubbish people create to call modern art, compared to what is needed when using intricate skills with something detailed. That two floor building could easily become 3 or 4 & have workshops with so much more art being exposed! Even sharing digital art! There's your "Modern Art"! THAT is Amazing what computers are creating! Imagine seeing your own image on a wall as a superhero, caveman/woman, video game character, or alien. That would be incredible art I would definitely love to see! Also, GOMA always has sections shut off that you have to pay for! *Sigh* The art has already been bought for *who can seriously afford it* then you expect us common folk to pay even more to stroll around & look at the random garbage! Those who do are crazy! That's all I'm saying!

Yesterday I check out the Fairy Tales Exhibition and I had an amazing time there. I especial love the Labyrinth, Mirror Mirror & Alice in Wonderland exhibitions.
And hope GOMA might do more movies or tv series displays in the near future. Maybe do a Bridgerton display with the costumes and props from the tv series. I would love to see that at the Gallery later on. Thanks everyone!

Another example of a hugely expensive, beautiful new building that is laid out in such a way that very little art can ever or ever will be presented here.
Massively tall walls, ceilings, walk ways (boulevards) and 2 - 3 things that may catch one’s attention.
Coffee shop, restaurant, meeting rooms and of course the overstuffed sizable gift shop. What a waste of public and private funds

Loved the fairytale exhibition. Loved the curation of costumes and artworks representing the different stories. Well worth the visit.
This is a brilliant service which runs up the Brisbane river. We took the cat from south bank to north shore Hamilton. A 2 hour ticket was just over 4 dollars for an adult. This also offered a hop on off facility .

Great trip on the river around the city. Nice new and clean stations, friendly staff, clean and tidy ferry's.
BUT NO WAY TO BUY A TICKET.
You've got services, crew on board, lighting and power just put in a kiosk where you can purchase a go card. Extremely frustrating when you are travelling from interstate.
Failing that how about an app on ya fone

The iconic South Bank Parklands in Brisbane showcases the incredibly scenic river that wanders through the city. Filled with colour, birds and activity, ‘Southbank’ is a fun place centrally accessible to most parts of this beautiful city.

Bossy staff, only letting 8 people on the ferry at a time (although the ferry offered much more seats). We waited for half an hour and then still didn't get on the ferry, so we decided to take the bus instead. Bit disappointing.
Place was clean though and offered enough seats in the waiting area.

Having recently relocated to brisbane, we spent our morning traveling with the city cat . The staff were absolutely amazing , with the incredible Camille offering sunblock to hubby and me, so that we could continue standing at the front and soaking up the views. She even offered us a cold bottle of water that she brought from home, to help keep up hydrated.
The trip it self was very good, but the City cat staff make the trip an experience. ! Can’t wait for the next adventure with the city car :)

More often than not we encounter a friendly welcoming crew but it’s not an ideal mode of transport if you’re in a hurry and please please sort out the payment method. Every trip we see people boarding and deliberately not paying as well as tourists who want to pay and are obviously confused by the fare purchasing advice, which compared to other services is antiquated and cumbersome. Please introduce EFTPOS facilities, most people have this payment method on them.

Good spot to get a ferry up or down the river from South Bank. The terminal is well designed with plenty of space, even when it's busy. There is a ramp for accessibility and some seating. The whole process is pretty efficient. The views from the river are fantastic on a nice day.

The ferries were good and the crew were helpful. However, we were visiting Brisbane and we couldn't buy a ticket or get one through an app. We had a 10 minute walk to a spot to sell a ticket. Not good enough for the handicapped or seniors.Come on Brisbane this is 2023

This is a review of the CityCats rather than this particular CityCat terminal- which is all much the same.
Riding a CityCat is a must for any visitor to Brisbane and a surprisingly rewarding experience for locals.
This is the ultimate way to see the variety of Brisbane lifestyle, buildings and landmarks in a relatively inexpensive and easy to use service.
Depending on how much have, you can explore Brisbane from the quiet rescue residential area of St Lucia to the busy reaches of the Brisbane river around Hamilton.
The CityCat is part of the TransLink network so you use your GoCard or [or it’s soon to be introduced Smart Ticketing]
Simply tap on and ride the CityCat for the entire round trip.
For example, if you get on at South Bank, go upstream to the University of Qld, stay on the boat and then go right to Hamilton, stay on the boat and return to South Bank.
That round would trip will take about two hours and 40 minutes all up. The off-peak cost for an adult at the time of writing is $3.37.
But you can jump on and off and off and if you get back on without an hour it is considered as a continuation of your journey for the one fare.
The new generation of CityCats has a top deck that you ride on. Otherwise, the front or rear decks provide an exhilarating experience.
Full details of the CityCats are at the TransLink website or the Translink app

Mount Coot-tha Summit Lookout provides an expansive city view as well as a cafe and restaurant. The outlook is perfect for those wanting to replace their sterile work desk with something more colourful. Mt Coot-tha is only seven kilometres from Brisbane CBD, making it a must see for anyone living in the area or visiting!
A spectacular view!
I would imagine that many proposals would of taken place at this fantastic scenic spot. It is a MUST SEE attraction if you live in, or are visiting Brisbane.
I have been up here numerous times and they have a cafe where you can order a coffee and cake and absorb nature at its finest or even bring a picnic blanket and a loved one and enjoy the sunset.
Great for motorbike riders such as myself as the ride up and down is fantastic and rather scenic but challenging at the same time.
They also have hiking trails for fitness enthusiasts.
Highly recommended!

Amazing lookout especially for magnificent and stunning sunrise and sunset with bird-eye view of Brisbane.
Many free car park just in front of the lookout and surrounding areas. No problem for car parking.
Having wheelchair access, benches to sit and rest, also big cafeteria if you want a coffee or breakfast with the view.
You can take a bus up here, or just 15 mins drive from the city.
Highly recommended, definitely a must while you are in Brisbane!

Best place to get the perfect view of the city. The premises do include some long range binoculars which operated by 2 dollar coins. However if you wanna take some nice clicks of the view, you might need a long range camera as a normal mobile cam gets obstructed by the tree range just beneath the look out.
However the a sunny day and looking out is one of the great things do in Brisbane, if you are visiting. Don’t forget to try the restaurant as well, its quite good.

We started at the J. C. Slaughter Falls and made our way up to the summit point with the view over Brisbane.
It's possible with a stroller (if you are crazy like us) but super difficult mainly because of the multiple stairs.
Water fountains throughout. The view was great and the cafe as well.

Best place to go for a sunrise. Bring your cameras as there are a few great vantage points for photos of the city skyline. There's a nice Cafe that's open from 6:30am. Can get very busy, especially on weekends and school holidays.

Nice spot with a great view of Brisbane city. Limited parking at the top when it's busy and not a lot of space to turn around up there. If you can find a park at the top during peak times you're very lucky. Gets busy in the evenings and weekends. There's a little gift shop up there, ice cream shop / Cafe and toilets. There's also picnic spots and bush walking tracks on the drive up. The ride up is fun on a motorbike too!

This is a great lookout with an outstanding view of the sea and city. You can park in the car park and walk or hike some of the trails on the mountain. We went down a gravel trail and back up a paved one next to a nice stream. Plenty of birds including magpies and bush turkeys, too. The loop we did was about 5 to 6 km. Other walkers and hikers are friendly, and there are plenty of water fountains for people with dog bowls, too. There is a nice cafe at the top but I did not see any public toilets. Highly recommend this area.

I recommend either taking the bus (Bus line 471 for example) up to the summit lookout and hike the way down to the Botanical Gardens.
Or take the bus to the Botanical Gardens and hike the way up. The trail is pretty easy and very beautiful to be in the nature and see the diverse gardens.
There is a cafe and restaurant at the top which can get preeetty busy!

Great view. Ample parking space. Few trails to follow. There's a restaurant on top of Mt Coot-tha. Even the restaurant is full. Since it's a holiday on 2nd May, there's many people there but still, we have plenty of space to take beautiful photos.

A great spot with a magnificent view looking to Moreton Bay, Brisbane and down to the southern rangers. Travelling by car, the windy road takes us through residential areas; forest and then the Sunmit. With parking and a short stroll to the lookout, visitors can enjoy impressive views. The licensed cafe offers an extensive menu to suit all tastes and patrons can enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner indoors or under umbrella's whilst soaking up the vista! Toilets are located next to the Cafe. The Scenic drive is also worth taking passing TV stations and back into residential areas.

Nice views. Probably only worth it if you drive all the way up. We hiked from the Botanic garden. We were basically running thinking we wouldn’t be able to get back into the garden, but there are other ways down. We took the last bus of the day and it brings you directly to the CBD.

Walked up via the Mahogany Track from the JC Slaughter Falls carpark which took just over an hour to the summit. Was an easy gradient the whole walk and was out of the sun under the trees. The lookout gave a great view over Brisbane, it was a little busy but still worth the visit.

We were on our way to Gold Coast and our Uber driver stopped at this lookout for a few minutes to take some pictures. It is quite crowded at about 2pm. The view was stunning on the clear blue sky day and we can see the entire city from the lookout.

Great way to see the natural local environment. We've hiked many forest areas and nothing has been like this. A real Australian forest in the city. Go to the top of the summit (we took a city bus) and hike down to the botanical gardens. It a bit of a walk, but mostly down hill. The hike up, especially on a typical hot day would be a challenge at best.

Scary lack of wild life was the first thing I noticed when hiking around Mt Coot-tha along with very few large trees.
So many walking trails with plenty of elevation change to get the blood pumping and the leg's burning.
Fun for a night time hike if you're after a bit of excitement doing the spider web limbo.

Right on top of Mount Coot-Tha, a picturesque location for a photo with a panoramic view of the city with enough greenery to make your photos stand out.
You'll easily get a turn at taking a photo with the city in the backdrop even on busy days, most people are polite enough to take a few shots and move on.
Parking is now much easier with the new lot opened near the end of the loop

This is one of the best lookouts near Brisbane. You will be able to see Brisbane City from here, and if we look closely enough, we can even see the Wheel of Brisbane.

Sirromet Wines is a family-owned winery located in Mount Cotton, Brisbane. The winery offers tours, wine tastings and events throughout the week. Visitors can enjoy sampling Sirromet's award-winning wines for $5 per person or opt for premium tastings at $30. Winery tours are also available for $20.
We had a lovely tour this morning followed by pizzas for lunch from the Cellar Door Cafe. Our tour was with Christine. She was amazing, and so knowledgeable!! I was great experience to do the tour and wine tasting. Got the see the place, process machines and learn about the process of making different kinds of wines. All wines tasted nice, we really enjoyed all the 5 wines we got to taste and even bought some to take home. We also enjoyed our lunch listening to some live music. Definitely going back there with my whole family because the place is also kids friendly with a lot of outdoor sitting. Thanks to the friendly and kind staff.

I've been a regular at Sirromet for years and always loved the atmosphere and quality food an wine.
This weekend I went to the Terrace for a family event which had beautiful surroundings and great service but underwhelming food. Everything came out looking lovely however most of the pizzas where lacking in ingredients and flavour. More herbs and garlic in the pizza sauce and even ingredient distribution would have done wonders.
Some of the starters where also super small considering the price. I understand the up market demographic and appreciate artistic presentation however that shouldn't diminish value and flavour.

The place is great for family gatherings either indoor or outdoor. However, the service level really needs to improve, given there were not many people there at around 3:00pm Sunday, the serving speed was ridiculously slow. We only have positive experiences to share. The venue is stunning, located on a hillside with wonderful valley views. The wines are tasty and the vibes with live music are very enjoyable. We went on a Sunday and apparently it was too busy to do wine tasting so we were disappointed. We took the 20$ 4 wines choice instead (reds), but felt like it wasn’t the best wine ever.
On Sunday it was a family day here and a lot of kids playing around football etc.
Still a great time.

Our food today was delicious and came out fast. The Sav wine was nice. We were very disappointed with service though. It was only moderately busy but took almost 20 mins for the 5 or so wait staff we saw to come and take our lunch order. 3 other tables had their order taken and they arrived after us. The person who eventually took our order knew we wanted drinks but never bothered to came back for the order. Staff walked right by us numerous times and ignored us while we tried to make eye contact, waiting for them to come over and take our order and give us table water. It was like we were invisible.

Wonderful winery close to Brisbane. Great selection of wines, including a Saperavi that I learnt to appreciate in Georgia. The grapes are mostly harvested in higher regions in or close to NSW. The wine tasting was great - very pleasant and insightful host. The selection of food accompanying the wine was a bit limited, unfortunately for my son, who was a bit too hungry for olives and cold cuts only.

Our Christmas Day lunch party was celebrated at the Sirromet Lurleen's function/restaurant. My exact review is for 4.5 stars, but this venue deserves the 5 stars for all their efforts and working Christmas Day.
Decor was fantastic, including their Christmas decorated tables.
Live music (including Christmas carols) was nice. However, the corner staging area didn't create the best acoustics and location for photographs.
The service from start to finish was excellent and professional, friendly and attentive.
The food was magnificent and on par to the listed Launceston UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Flavoursome with almost every bite. The presentation throughout all the dishes was lovely. The Turkey on the main plate could have been slightly more moist. Dessert was sweet with a little bit for everyone's tastebuds and very filling.
The main letdown was the coffee 😕
As a coffee lover, barista, and business owner, it was disappointing to taste an over extracted double expresso in a large cup (not an espresso cup) because they had run out after having such lovely meals.
Overall, it was a fantastic
Christmas Day event thanks to all the organisers, floor team, and kitchen teams. Thank you 😊

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a wildlife refuge tucked up alongside the Brisbane River in Fig Tree Pocket, southwest of Brisbane. The sanctuary features koalas sleeping in gumtrees and hand feeding kangaroos, as well as an endangered cassowary living in captivity. The sanctuary also has a zoo housing Australian native animal species, including crocodiles and reptiles.
Took the All-Star tour today at Lone Pine Koala sanctuary and it was exceptional! Our guide and Zookeeper Nick was both knowledgeable and friendly and made this tour one of a kind! We were able to handle owls like a falconer, see hundreds of Koalas and pet them and later get our picture holding them. We also were able to hold a few of the reptiles and feed kangaroos out of our hands. We topped the tour off by feeding the two platypus at the sanctuary. What a morning!! Highly recommended!

Great place for a visit. Professional knowledgeable staff. Animals looked healthy and well looked after. 2-3 hours was sufficient for us to see the animals and 2 shows. Loved this place! Experience was amazing. For very cheap a few friends and I managed to have an amazing time and experience the beauty of Australian animals really closely. Spent around 5 and a half hours just exploring. Definitely a 10/10 day plan for families and groups of friends, I 100% recommend the animal shows and the $15 photo packs. Also, take lots of photos! Overall a fantastic place, though I do recommend packing your own lunch (food options are unsurprisingly pricey). Coffee was nice though.

It’s a lovely place to interact with Kangaroos 😍 You can feed them, take a photo with a koala (paying an extra fee) and see other animals shows. The sanctuary is large, so save at least half day to enjoy it. There’s a bus coming from Brisbane city that stops inside the sanctuary. It’s quite convenient!

Nice place to spend 4-5 hours. If you are into koalas and kangaroos and other animals related to Australia and Farms this is your place while you are in Brisbane. There are few other activities and guides tours and shows also available. You can get really good knowledge about the species.
Feeding Kangaroo is a fun activity you can do here.
Only less than one star for the price tag. It's a bit expensive and you have to pay for other additional activities for one time visiting tourists.
And if you are planning on visiting twice just go for an annual pass.
Easy parking, restaurants available. Public and chartered ferry transportation

Nice little sanctuary with lots of koala’s. The yard with the kangaroos also is very nice. The rest of the zoo is a bit questionable. Especially if you want to see the nocturnal animals and other animals like wombats. They are not visible at all.
Pictures taken with Koala is actually very nice experience. Staff is very friendly and not rushed.

My visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in serene surroundings, it provided a delightful escape into the world of Australian wildlife. It was my first encounter with koalas and kangaroos, and the experience left me in awe of these iconic creatures. The opportunity to observe them up close was truly mesmerizing.
One of the highlights of my visit was the raptor flight demonstration. Watching these majestic birds take to the sky was a breathtaking sight, and I was captivated by their grace and agility.
The sheep dog show was another standout experience. It offered a unique glimpse into the world of sheep herding and showcased the remarkable skills of these intelligent dogs.
The sanctuary itself was very well managed, with informative signage and helpful staff who were eager to answer any questions. However, despite my excitement, I was disappointed not to catch a glimpse of the elusive platypus.
Overall, my time at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was unforgettable. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Australian wildlife and nature.

Absolutely enjoyed our time here, one of the most memorable experiences. It’s definitely a koala sanctuary & one worth supporting.
The lines can be quite long for photos with the animals, best to book online to avoid delays, it helps slightly & really friendly staff everywhere all around.
There’s a cafe & toilets throughout the sanctuary, with birds & lizards walking around freely; so watch out where you step.
We booked the Mirimar cruise to & from the sanctuary, the best way to get there in our opinion, while enjoying the narrative & some history of what we pass by along the river.

A fantastic place to visit, the boat trip there was fascinating, a history tour of the river. Lone pines was a revelation, I did not know initially if 3 hours would be too long, it was not, there was loads to see and learn. The exhibitions and shows were great, all very well done. Loved to see the animals and to feed the kangaroos was a highlight. Do it, you will not regret it.

A nice way of spending a couple of hours if you're around Brisbane. I find the tickets are a bit pricey (almost $50/adult) and there was more interaction with the animals than I was expecting. I personally don't like the "pay to hold or feed a koala" thing. But other than that it was lovely seeing the kangaroos, koalas and other animals.
Cristina Renedo Williams — Google review
I recently had the most incredible day at Lone Pine Sanctuary. The chance to get up close with Australia's wildlife, from cuddling koalas to feeding kangaroos, was a dream come true. Not to mention, meeting the adorable wombats and porcupines added an extra layer of delight. The well-maintained habitats and informative shows added to the experience.
If you're planning to visit, make sure you book the cuddling koala experience online to avoid disappointment. Whether you're an animal lover or just looking for a peaceful escape, Lone Pine is a must-visit. It's a place where nature and education meet for an unforgettable adventure.

Amazing!!! We loved every minute of our time here, and will be back often! The bird show was better than expected, and the koala holding and picture was worth every penny. But my absolute favorite part was hanging out with and feeding the kangaroos!!! They are so friendly and laid back. Made my life!!! I highly recommend this place. It’s a must do if you’re here! Make sure to book your hold and touch experiences BEFORE the day you go. It fills up fast!

Had an absolutely AMAZING day!! We decided to go all in on the platinum package and it was 4000% worth it!!
The whole team was super lovely, we had Rachel as our guide who told us so many amazing things about the animals and information about conservation. There is clearly a lot of love for every single one of the animals.
The site is surprisingly wheelchair accessible, there's still a few lumps and bumps that need figuring out but we were able to do everything and the staff figured out any problems with no fuss.
We were treated to food from the cafe which was generous and delicious. Got lots of photos! I think one of the great things about doing the package deal was going round all the animals rather than just getting distracted by the koala's... Which is very easy to do!
No matter tiny lizards up to huge birds and kangaroo's everything is looked after and cared for. Loved it!!

Wonderful experience all around. We went first on a weekday for the koala and raptor encounters which were great. The kangaroo area was also really cool.
Went back a few days later for the nocturnal tour which was incredible. Emily was very fun and kept things lively while we waited for the previous group to finish. The staff as a whole were extremely knowledgeable and had so much information on all the animals as we saw them in their most active time of day. Any other zoo or sanctuary I’ve been to you see these animals sleeping. On the nocturnal tour they give you thermal cameras to find them, red torches to illuminate the animals without disturbing them which were also great for taking pictures. The animals were active, feeding and very interested in the tour group.
Very cool experience.
10/10 would recommend.

Highly recommend the Koala Discovery Tour. You get a VIP behinds-the-scenes tour of the Koala care, including a brief discussion of their care, food, and habits. You get to first go into the Koala paddocks and take pictures up close and personal near the Koalas. Then you get to have your picture taken with a Koala as well. It was great experience and well worth the time and fee. You have to buy these tickets in advance online - it is highly unlikely that you can buy them at the park.
FYI - the Discovery Tour fee does not include the park entrance fee.

This is a very good zoo that allows adults and children to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the gifts of nature. And through interaction with animals, it can increase the relationship between adults and children, and enrich their understanding and knowledge of nature. There are a lot of koalas here, so you can see many kinds of koalas sleeping in different positions, which are very cute. There are also a lot of kangaroos. You can interact with the kangaroos very closely, even feed them, and lie with them. They will not attack people and are very friendly. It is highly recommended to spend a day here to experience the journey with animals and nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Magnificent visit with our 7 month old. We interacted with dozens of kangaroos, just bathing in the sunshine. Definitely worth reserving the koala picture so that you can pet one! The gift shop is reasonably priced and all staff are genuinely interested in your experience. You can even watch dozens of koalas sleep while you eat!!

We loved it here, it is nice and open. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. The highlight was definitely feeding the kangaroos. The shows are short and sweet, informative and entertaining. We ended up purchasing membership and I can't wait to go back to hold a koala!

Very beautiful sanctuary but a little too far off the city. Best way to reach is to catch a bus from Brisbane central. If you love the cozy hugging koalas, this place will give you a beautiful experience.

We spent a week in Australia and drove past many road signs warning us about potential livestock along the roads, but we saw nothing.
As it was our last day here, we decided we needed to get a wildlife fix, and this place wasn't far from our motel.
The place was very busy, which wasn't unexpected, being school holidays, but in this case we were travelling without kids and didn't enjoy having to dodge thousands of wild animals at loose.
The park animals though, were well behaved and we enjoyed being able to get up close to them. The lunch meals were quick and simple and plenty of options for any diet. Just don't turn your back as the birds will steal it from the table in front of you.
On reflection, I would happily visit again, but outside school holidays.

Been here twice already! It's well worth the money! There's a section to walk amongst and feed the kangaroos, they are very chilled out and don't mind making new friends! Also lots of koalas around in the trees, mainly sleeping or eating but that's what they do to be fair. Price seems to have gone up to $54 from $49 but might be due to the summer season.

This was my ultimate bucket list!! The staff was so amazing and knowledgeable about all of the animals! Thank you all for being so wonderful and patient with your guests! This is a 100 out of a 10 for a must do. Even if you are close to Brisbane, it's so worth the visit🐨❤️🦘❤️

I’m glad I didn’t buy any kangaroo food as none of them seemed to be interested in anything. I felt bad for them. Most of them were huddled together in a section where they could be seen, but not touched. Other animals didn’t seem to be doing well either. I was able to get a chicken schnitzel and chips for $13. I understand wanting to take kids to a zoo, but as an adult I didn’t enjoy it. I wouldn’t return.

This is a Koala Sanctuary rather than a zoo - so whilst there are other species there, these are not the focus of exhibits. But if you love Koala, look no further. This place is a gem. It is clear that the staff are knowledgeable and really care about the animals in their charge, and the environment was beautiful.
We had a behind the scenes guided tour - a ‘Discovery Tour’ - and were guided by Elle. She was friendly and a perfect guide, sharing her knowledge and information at the right level for a diverse group. She was organised and kept us all on time and in line.
Whilst there, Elle noticed one of the elderly Koala had sneezed and produced nasal discharge. She immediately flagged this on the radio and a more senior colleague arrived within 60 secs to give the Koala some support. It was lovely to see.
We also got to hold a Koala, and it was evident that this is approached carefully and considerately. The animals were not stressed and are looked after by their keepers to make sure they were happy and safe. A lovely experience which we will never forget. Thanks

Great little place, but it's so expensive. Although I understand that everything is expensive these days. But the food there is very, very, pricey.
Great staff, though, we bought a koala encounter, barn experience, and snake photo.
The koala encounter is a pat and self photos. The staff member there also gave us some information about koalas and we got some very good photos. Barn experience was great! Highly recommend, staff were informative and great with the children. Kids loved it, but watch the goats! They will eat the bags the food comes in! 😅 It is best to buy things the day before you go, buy them online to ensure you get a spot. Oh and see the Roos in the morning, they might want to eat more, we went in the afternoon, and they were probably a bit overfed by then. We didn't see any animals in the nocturnal area except a tree kangaroo, but that was a possibility that was mentioned. Free flight bird show was great, we loved it!
Overall, great experience, and we really enjoyed our day.

It's an amazing place. There are hundreds of koalas. You can observe them up close, learn more about them, hold them. There are also free roaming kangaroos you can feed and a few other animals. This is the place to go to if you are visiting Australia and would like to see Australian animals.

Must go. Very close to Brisbane. Workers told us the koala holding doesn’t usually sell out until 11 am. I would buy entry tickets ahead of time and get there by 8:30 to make sure you can hold the Koalas at a good time. The public bus stops in the parking lot. Workers were friendly. Over 100 koalas and lots of pettable kangaroos. My girl really wanted to hold a koala and it was impossible at Steve’s zoo without booking weeks ahead of time. Plus the entry and holding are cheaper here. We went here and the zoo and both were amazing. They are doing lots of good work here. Please support them. You should figure at least 4 hours here. Will return. Koala holding was only about 30 seconds but didn’t feel rushed. The workers were nice and very happy to take cell phone pics. Plus it comes with a printed photo.

It’s a great place! Lots of koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies. Exotic birds, reptiles, and crocs were all great to see. Worth a trip!
The system for booking koala holding could be improved as went 2 different days but unable to book experience because tour buses took all the slots.

Lone Pine you have the most beautiful & kind hearted staff I’ve ever met & that’s an understatement. From the moment I arrived & helping me with my technophobe booking issue (absolutely embarrassing on my behalf) they were able to get myself & daughter in to see & hold our very first koala - what a beautiful memorable moment that was!
I really can’t thank you ladies enough & how much it meant X
Even throughout the day everyone was so naturally accomodating & genuinely loving the place that they call “work” ~ seeing your team interact with a cheeky Koala whilst cleaning out its home was an absolute highlight too!
Will certainly be back & thank you for such a beautiful mum & daughter experience that will be with me for years to come X

If you are in Brisbane, definitely need to visit! This was one of the highlights of our trip. The koalas are just so cute! We spent a majority of the day hanging with the koalas or sitting with the kangaroos. The best time to checkout the kangaroos are later in the day when the sun is not as hot. More of them were lounging out in the grassy areas and it was less crowded. Make sure to buy the kangaroo feed earlier as they stop selling them at some point.

it was a pleasant surprise. People are very accessible and helpful. The people at the entrance were very friendly. They even made a call to order a taxi, which was not their obligation. I'm very grateful for that. and the park is fabulous. I loved kualas and there are many everywhere.
Go to the park but go early to spend all full date there....❤️❤️

Wonderful sanctuary.
From an ethical standpoint I only visit sanctuary not zoos , I was so happy to see SO many koalas.
Some things that need addressing as I think they may cross the line slightly, of course understanding the sanctuary still needs to make money in order to help the animals, that is why the holding a koala photos etc. are a thing. The kangaroo zone that the public could not enter was small, there was lots of kangaroos crowded in there and I can’t help but feel with the massive size of the enclosure in general it could definitely be made bigger. I understand there were more huts around for them to go in but these are small and did not provide anywhere for them to hide only not be touched. More signs and rangers around educating people on kangaroo behaviour, as there were some children treating them like family dogs, not respecting their body language.
The sanctuary obviously does incredible work, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely gift shop where you can buy stuffed toy koalas and many more animals.

Located halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Kingston Park Raceway is a great place to visit with friends for teens or families of all ages. The Raceway has 3 go-kart tracks with different types of karts, and the 1100m international standard track is sure to get hearts racing and blood pumping! Fun things to do with friends for teens can also be found here such as getting racing packages before you go.
Loads of fun. Go-karts are like mini F1 racers with strong grip, good acceleration and powerful brakes. The track is professionally designed, but still accessible to all skill levels. Staff is approachable and helpful. They are happy to help you out if your equipment is not right. Staff has emphasis on safety while still letting you push yourself and the kart to the limit.

The track was great and workers were friendly. The only problem was the lack of rule keeping. Most racers would disregard the rules and not be warned. Some of the karts are slower than the others, but the overall racing was fun.

We came down for our first Friday night race challenge. Was a really fun night after getting a hang of the track. The Schumacher carts were quick. Felt it on the forearms afterwards and the hands for holding on so much around the corners. Some carts were better then others so depending if you got a good cart it wouldn't shake as much as others. There was a gaming area to relax in between races. Great value for money and the staff were great also. Will be back to try again.

Great day on the track with friends! Unlike other go karting places, the track is more complex which makes racing more enjoyable. The karts go quick enough and the atmosphere is great.
Only criticism is the “hidden charges” that you must be careful off on top of the race fee. Otherwise we will be definitely returning!

Took a mate here today for a bit of fun. This place didn't disappoint. Being 1st timers we had to register.
We opted for the two ten minute session. After that we were shown a safety video/presentation. Safety is their no: 1 priority. With balaclava, gloves and helmet on, off we went. Had a fantastic time and strongly recommend going there.

The track and carts are good, but the way races are run and the track staff definitely need improvement.
We had booked the 3+1, so 4 races total. We were in a group of 18 total drivers (6 shy of the total 24 drivers). Races only last for roughly 10 minutes which is too short to begin with as you are only able to get warmed up in that time. Two 20 minute sessions would be far better.
In our group there were a handful of drivers who continuously caused multiple yellow flags/lights. At one point one of these drivers tried to drive right into me as I passed him (trying to spin me out thinking it was funny) he missed me entirely and crashed causing another yellow.
So we spent the vast majority of each race coasting around the track on yellow lights, not able to set proper times. The issues really began when your staff, for whatever reason, decided to pick on everybody else and not those causing the continuous yellow lights and purposefully crashing.
So in essence, my group paid $650.00 to coast around your track on yellow lights for what felt like 75-80% of the time.
During the last race I had enough, and decided to forgo slowing down for a yellow down the main straight in an attempt to get one proper lap in. Your staff ordered me into the pits after this, but didn’t come and say anything to me (now I know this was intentional to ruin my entire last race). So after two minutes of waiting I pulled back onto the track and continued to race with my cart being actively slowed down by your staff. At the end I pulled in and asked why my cart was slowed down, I was met with the response “oh I wonder why mate hahaha” and then insisted I apologise. So your staff intentionally hampered my final race and felt entitled to do so… To put it bluntly; he’s lucky he looked underage or I would’ve acted differently..
TLDR: Ignorant young staff on power trips allowing some drivers to continuously break rules, while coming down hard on others who want to get good laps in. Not worth the money.

Got bumped for a lot of times during the ride and no one stops those people, hurts my back and neck for the following week. The venue is great but could be much better if it is regulated!
The Robelle Domain is an expansive, landscaped park featuring a variety of activities ranging from walking and cycling trails to outdoor pools and splash pads. The park also includes a beautiful lagoon area for swimming, as well as numerous picnic facilities and playgrounds.
It's a good place to walk around. There are wide pathways without any steep grades, suitable for wheelchairs, prams, walkers, etc. The plants are starting to mature since my last visit about 5 years ago. Lots of grassy areas, picnic tables and shade. There's a water play area for the kids. Public toilets. Close to Orion Shopping Centre and a direct pathway connection to Springfield Central Train Station. Combined with a visit to the Tavern, Movies or a restaurant at Springfield Orion would make a great day out.

3rd time here and this has been the best time so far. Went on a Wednesday outside of school holidays and it was so quiet. Got on ALL rides in less than under 20 minutes. Usually only a 10 minute wait. Which is crazy good compared to when I've been previously sometimes waiting for 1hr to go on a ride. The wildlife areas are great. Cheapest place to get a photo with a koala. And they have a really cool nocturnal area with active animals. They only reason for a 4 star is the prices. Things are over priced which isn't surprising but a tiger plush at the tiger store was $9.99 and the same tiger at the shop in the exit was $16.99. THE SAME TIGER. All in all loved this visit. 100% recommend going out of school holidays on a weekday.

The place is amazing with so many options for both kids and adults. Having been to other theme parks though I felt this is more inclined towards being more for kids than adults even though it has one of the fastest rides in Australia for adults. We visited dreamworld on a weekday, finding a parking spot was pretty easy and we didn’t had to wait at the entrance as we had tickets bought online.
Our little one and we enjoyed few of the rides available on that day. We loved the tiger presentation as well. The best for us with our little was sky voyager, quite a surreal experience.
As the rain started after 2 pm it seemed like park patrons were leaving the park early, few of the rides seemed to be paused momentarily may be for safety reason.
Overall our day at the park was an average. I found most attractions were either on construction phase or were on annual maintenance, so I don’t think I was able to get value of what I paid. I wish the management would give some offers on tickets if this is the case.

We visited on a day where it was drizzling rain on and off. I think this definitely made a difference as there were virtually no queues. The wildlife shows are a must to see - of course Tiger Island. We only got around to half the rides and attractions, which is why we took advantage of the 3 day pass deal. Overall it was a fantastic day and would recommend as a value for money park.

Such a great day out and about. Plenty of good rides which suit all age ranges from young families to older people. Didn’t have to wait too long in the lines which was an added bonus. The park is easily accessible from the Gold Coast via the tram and bus if you don’t have a car. We unfortunately didn’t get round to looking at the animal exhibits due to only having the day there so would recommend getting a two day pass to comfortably enjoy what the whole park has to offer and to have a ticket before arrival to avoid waiting too long to get into the park. Staff were all very friendly and seemed to be almost as happy to be there as we were.

Most rides were open during school holidays though staff shortages were evident with long queues. Signage to guide people to way towards rides is missing making first timers waste time, this should be an easy fix, specially when no paper maps are available on site and you are asked to use your phone to navigate. Lastly the evening closing time leads everyone out from the single road from parking lot and it takes literally over 30 to 40 mins to crawl out to the main road - the park needs to petition a set of traffic lights at the roundabout so traffic clears quickly in peak evening period.

Kids absolutely love walking around this park looking at the animals and then ending up on the rides. A great variety of attractions for all ages. We have the annual passes which make it very affordable and visit probably twice a month.

Good value for money and good entertainment, there is a lot of construction happening at the moment so that obviously takes away from the experience a little,
There were a few places with not a lot of shade but I feel like they offer more shade than some of the other theme parks anyway.
We loved the animals and there were a good range of rides that both parent and kid could go on which is nice.

Most cherished experience in Gold Coast.
There are so many awesome rides for every age group.
Visiting on a weekday has its perks as there were no wait times for any of the rides, and you can also get rides to yourself.

Great day. rides were fun and lines short. We went a Friday during term time.was an informative tiger show and pretty cool seeing them up close and hearing about conservation work. neat little petting zoo koala interaction bit over priced but worth it to hold them I guess. the serpant ride will make you throw up- do that and the claw before you have lunch! will take you a whole day to get around the park, leave time to spend in the Lego store on your way out!

Going to Dreamworld has been fabulous, we love the staff, the rides and how all the parks are together with out traveling far.
There looks like some wonderful new rides arriving for 2024.
I can’t thank the staff for the helpfulness and understanding when needed.
Best part we can hang out as a family and enjoy some fun and laughter. Especially after seeing the photo of me screaming for dear life.

Dreamworld is the perfect getaway for the whole family. We have children from 3 to 11 years old and there are so many rides for everyone. We have fun each time. There is a small zoo with some animals we never got the chance to observe like the tree kangaroo. The wiggles boat is so much fun its definitely our favourite. The staff is so kind and helpful.

A great day out for all ages, whether by yourself or a big group. There's something for everyone!
Would love to see more single rider lines & some Gluten Free options in the cafeteria though.
The Wildlife Experiences, shows & handlers are fantastic & very knowledgeable.
Great range of merchandise as well & variety of rides for kids & the big kids at heart! Definitely recommend =)

Recommend for all the family. Lots of rides of different levels. The tiger experience was amazing. I recommend going on the days they feed the crocodiles.
Lots of animals and education. A fun day out for the whole family.
Food and drinks are expensive and not very good quality but this is the same at every theme park.

Great day at Dreamworld. The rides for children have improved tremendously. It did look run down on previous visit 2023 but not now it looks amazing. Also no long waiting time for rides.

Dreamworld is always a fun time! Im always left disappointed that the sky voyager never seems to be operating when I visit. It’s always sad to find out they occasionally have a different screening mid year most years but it’s so short notice for people to be able to apply for leave and make it interstate in time for it and we all miss out. It wouldn’t harm the park to have both screening for a few months or even six months to give everyone a chance to experience it. A lot of rides out while we were there as well as a lot of areas blocked off due to new upcoming things. This visit was quite dull compared to other visits from interstate.

Couldn't go all the rides and places for 1 day. There were long lines for some rides but we had great time. Love all animals there. Make sure to keep drinking water and put sunscreen on a hot sunny day.
Whitewater World is an amusement park in Dreamworld that features a wave pool, slides, and private cabanas for adults. The park also has two children's areas with interactive water play activities.
Wonderful park, always have been fun and we are always excited to visit. Lots of different activities for any ages. Every ride was opened, and wasn't crowded. Friendly staff.

Lots of rides for all ages. My 8 year old is not much of a dare devil so the Little Rippers and the Temple of Huey tube rides are great for her as I can go on with her. Awesome if you go at a slow period as when it's really busy the lines can take a long time. More food options would be good. Overall great family day out.

Friendly staff on the entry.
Kids love here. There is wiggle Bay for little ones and water playground for bigger kids.
Cave of waves made me impressed with 8 life guards.
There are many kinds of slides.
It's smaller than wet n wild and only opens seasonal. But it's ok place to stay a couple of hours in hot summer days.

The family found Dream World and White Water World to be better than the othe fun parks on the Gold Coast, The tigers and sky voyager ride are next level, the selection of delicious food outlets was a real game changer. The wave pool had more regular waves and the ride lines were well managed and timely.

Pretty much like wet and wild with similar rides more compact and easier to get around. Right next door to Dreamworld so you can easily go there within 5 minutes.Would be good if they had something like calypso bay. So I give the rides four stars like Dreamworld the staff are great and I give them 5 stars

Fun place to visit and explore , lots of water slides, there also a area good for small kids, they also have a big roller coaster. There a lots of life guard around the pool. The staff are very helpful and nice. The water waves is amazing. I recommend this place.

Quite a small park, but they pack alot of fun into the space. Had a great day. Would have liked more food outlets to purchase from as there is only 1, and you can only order the fried stuff online via the qr code.

Wow… what an experience,
WhiteWater World is an aquatic paradise that truly delivers an exhilarating experience. The water slides are nothing short of spectacular, providing an adrenaline rush like no other. The sheer variety ensures there's something for everyone, from thrilling plunges to more leisurely rides.
However, our excitement hit a brief snag due to an unexpected power outage. For approximately 30 minutes, the slides were temporarily out of commission. Despite this, the overall experience remained positive, thanks to the efficient staff.
Robbie, in particular, stood out with his exceptional service. His kindness and dedication to ensuring guests had a great time elevated the overall experience. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness added a personal touch, turning what could have been a minor inconvenience into an opportunity to appreciate the outstanding service provided by the staff.
In the grand scheme of the day, the power blip was a mere hiccup, quickly overshadowed by the sheer enjoyment and professionalism displayed at WhiteWater World. A water park where thrills meet exceptional service, making it an unforgettable destination for aquatic adventures.
Thanks Again White Water World, I’m looking forward to coming again.

Just like I said about dream world, things look old and dry, needs that color rework.
But I found I had alot more fun here, and I'm not much of a water park type person, I think it has more to do and it's better distance where as dream world it's a endless walk to no where.
I'm giving this one more star due to the fact it's more effective, cleaner, more fresh but nothing more as it needs that rework.
The wave pool paint is looking dry and cracked.

Dreamworld and WhiteWater World nail it again! We had an amazing day at WhiteWater world with hours of fun! Exhilarating slides for all ages and super safe, friendly lifeguards and staff. After taking my 4 year old down a few big crazy slides n having some perfectly cooked hot chips. I sat back in a sun lounger sipped on a cold beer and watched as she went up and down the PipeLine Plunge over and over and over. Perfect day for both of us.

The park has great rides. Just don't come here by yourself. The best rides require at least two people. A lot of people in the queue react inconvenienced when you ask them to join their ride. No support from staff to pair people up whatsoever. Travelling on your own is socially not accepted here:/
Benne Stecher — Google review
A bit small water park but have everything we enjoyed. Only one food shop at the entrance with a long long waiting line. I'd go ice cream shop and loved it. Better than another theme park it's because we don't have to carry the stuff and climb up. And the facilities are nice and clean condition.
My suggestion is build another food bar even just selling sausage and sandwichs. And would be happy to purchase family local pass bundle for just 500bucks.

Waves, slides, and good times. Great slides in the different areas to accommodate all ages. Lots of shaded seating area. Beers for sale. There is a wave pool. Take your beach trolley for all the kit. Take thongs for walking between slides.

The park is a little tired with 3 main rides out of action, music was dated disco from the the late 80s and 90s. Food offerings basic. More variations in the theme park next door. Cost of tickets are high.

White Water World was even better than we expected! We loved the wave pool and all the kids' water slides. We didn't go on many of the bigger slides but the day went so fast! We'll go on them next time... except for Jaze as she's not tall enough.
The water Park is a great size - not so big that you have to do a lot of walking to get around. It's a great waterpark to start with if your kids haven't been to one before.
Usually those parks can be hectic and stressful for parents, but I found the slides nice and fun, and bouncing over the waves to music was relaxing. Next time I might even sit by the pool with a cocktail and a book! Wish me luck. 😜
By the way, thank you to the family that let me film their slide after I lost my own family! 😅 I'm glad you had fun. 🥰

So much fun, lots screaming from thrill rides. 2 rides not working but was plenty other rides to enjoy. The park was not super busy on Good Friday and wait lines for rides were good no longer than 30 mins. Plenty seating and shaded areas and the food was served quickly from the kiosk. Was great day.

Although there were a couple of rides closed there was plenty to do for the arvo. Lifeguards are reasonably strict but polite about the rules and that’s a good thing! Good value if you buy the locals pass ($99 on special) also licensed so you can adult properly!

The staff were cool, that was all I liked about it. We went recently in their off season. There were less people obviously and yet the wait tome for rides still took sooooo long. We waited over an hour for two rides. There were less than 30 people ahead of us. It was 2-4 per ride. Half the rides were closed which was expected but there was just no urgency and they were probably understaffed. The wave pool was cool, the waves weren't very big, my local beach has better waves on a chill day. Twice I saw people being sent down because their kids weren't tall enough or didn't make requirements but they were already sent up? They have the resources to check people before sending them up? I would be annoyed if I was sent up to wait in a line once again and then sent back down once getting to the ride because I don't meet requirements. Won't be going back. Try wet n wild instead.
Warner Bros. Movie World is a theme park based on Warner Bros. film studios and related DC comics properties, located in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The park features rides and attractions themed around movie scenes and characters from Warner Bros. blockbuster films. The main focus of the park is live shows featuring some of your favourite movie characters, with Catwoman stealing jewellery being one example.
It’s really good with lots of attractions and rides. I went with my 7 years old son, he absolutely loved it. We did all kids rides and it was fun. You need whole day to enjoy and go to each rides and shows. The stunt show and roxy shows were amazing. If your child is a fan of superheroes and villains, this is the right place.

It was great fun there with our family. However, be warned that the lines are very long at peak times such as school holidays. We really enjoyed the driving stunt show and Batman exhibit 🦇 The number of toilets should be included (especially parents🚽 room).

What a wonderful way to be able to relive childhood memories. From purchasing the tickets to the rides and exciting the park was just an easy and amazing day. The rides were amazing being able to use virtual queue, the stunt show and parade where definite highlights. It was just a shame that 2 of the main rides were closed and the whole Wild West section wasn’t open. It would of been nice to have been told this on time of buying the tickets and maybe reflected in the price. But definitely a great day out for the whole family. Ever minute of the day there is something to be seen so keep your eyes pealed.

We were super excited for the experience, so we got there pretty early to avoid standing in long lines. I am really happy that we went because it was an experience that I will never forget. I am giving it a three start review because there were about 4 rides that were closed, and the amount of time we waited in the lines was a bit disappointing. It is definitely the place to go when you have small children, but as an adult, make sure the rides are mostly open for the entry fee to be justified.

This place was fantastic! Although isles smaller than the other theme parks it definitely exceeded my expectations. The Main Street was really nice to walk through with different stores and restaurants. There are plenty of seating areas as well. The characters were all so lovely but shout out to the amazing Marilyn Monroe, absolutely stunning! The car show was super fun to experience as it was interactive. A really good thing about the theme parks is that you can purchase the all day supper cup and have free refills at all parks which made the experience even better. The DC hyper coaster had a 60 minute wait which went fast and there were cooling fans at the waiting area which were very helpful on the hot day. The hyper coaster was insane to ride and would recommend it to try at least once! The batman however had smaller seats and some people didn’t fit and were kicked off. It was sad that after all that wait they were kicked off and didn’t even receive a fast track to a different ride like Sea World does. The looney tunes area was awesome and great for the kids! The Wild West was really cool as well and the ride looked awesome. The rides do have larger waiting times but aren’t terrible especially if you don’t go in peak season. There are food and drink carts scattered around the park which were also great. The Batman walkthrough was pretty cool to see as well. Overall this place was fantastic to experience and would be an awesome place for families!

We love it here. If you are local, buy the annual pass. We'll worth it. Can come and go whenever. Joker is our favourite ride. Lots to do and see if rides aren't your thing. Food is slightly pricey but yum. Depends on the time and day you go. We rocked up at 2pm and managed to go on 7 rides where as Easter Monday we got in when it opened and only managed 4 rides. Awesome experience.

A theme park with fun for kids and adults. Can see cartoon characters and super heroes in person. The rides were all good. We need an entire day to try all the rides. Long wait hours in the queue for rides. Kids will have a good time.

Fun place to visit with older kids.
It is best to have a fast pass ticket, so that you can go on rides straight away instead of queuing for a few hours. However it will cost you heaps more.
The close to the closing time may be a bit quieter as some families with young kids are leaving.
The whole park has lovely atmosphere. It is good to check out some of the shows as well as roller coasters.

Absolutely love being transported into the imaginary world of fantasies, superheroes and the magic of Hollywood.
Lots of beautifully detailed and elaborate reconstruction of environments, buildings and props to enjoy being immersed in. Lots of crazy and fun rides! Definitely a place of fun!
The only complaint is definitely the wait times, especially the virtual queue - it's either closed or full all the time.

Just WOW what a fun day.
The rides were awesome and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.
The staff were happy and friendly.
The wait times for the rides was fine but if your in a hurry I'd suggest you buy the fast track tickets to jump the (short) ques.
My favorite ride was the Superman Rollercoaster, dang its fast.

We had a great day out, and as usual, we were one of the last to leave.
We can't thank Jessica from Guest Services enough for making our daughters birthday a very special day. Lily was really looked after, with the characters wishing her a happy birthday and making her feel special.
Some rides were closed, but they were advertised at the front gate. There were also lots of other rides open, so closures didn't worry us.

Friendly staff, great activities set up.
We enjoyed the character dance and performance.
We had lunch at the all you can eat buffet.
We patted many animals.
Took many pictures with Shaun the sheep and all his friends and the farmer.
We found gems in the miner activity with lots of water splashing too cool off too.
Highly recommend.
We had the deal of 4 theme parks as the price of one for our Queensland visit. This one was one of them.

Visited during the eastern holiday. We didn't spend a long time waiting compared to it being a public holiday and few attractions for adults, we enjoyed 2 roller coasters and 2 other attractions, but these were all fantastic.
Next time will purchase a fast track so that we can ride multiple times, most of the food stalls and restaurants close around 15:00.
Michelle Kim — Google review
This place is hectic! It is my least favorite out of all the world's. Too many people, not enough space, extremely long wait times for rides and attractions. The virtual queue online wasn't working, sold out of fast track tickets. Plenty of rides that were closed, but rude to still charge full price for entry. They did have plenty of people dressed up in costumes, which the kids liked. The food prices were on par with the other world's. Sea world and dream world were better.

Perfect place for a day out. Even if it is sunny, they have a plenty of covered areas. Very well organised and managed activities, parades and making sure everything is perfect. Everyone had a photo opportunity with the cartoons and characters. Our little one had a great time on rides and the parades. Definitely coming again after a few years. Plenty of food options and rides for adults too .

AMAZING theme park!
Just gonna mention I'm 30yo and had the time of my life!
It was very busy, the lines were long, but I found out that if you download the park's app then you can buy a 'skip the line' ticket for 20-30$ for each ride, or book a turn to one of the slides and come back when it's your turn (one at the time) so it's was fantastic!
Paid a bit extra, and got the chance to ride all the cool rollercoasters and everything else.
Definitely worth it.
Another option is to purchase in advance a 'fast pass' online that costs 150$, but the app was enough for me.
Also, LOVED the Batman Hall !

Attractions are good. I went on a weekday in winter ant there were a lot of closed rides and the lines where long. Closing time is early (5 pm) so only managed to ride 4 rides, less than 1 per hour. The virtual queue doesn’t work perfectly (although it is a good idea), so be prepared to either get to the park as it opens or pay extra to skip the lines

This amusement park was one of my favourite days out! There isn’t a bunch of rides however what there is are great rides. The option for a virtual queue also saved our trip so much and made it so much more of a relaxing visit. The characters are great fun to meet and the costumes were great. I definitely recommend visiting this place it is a great day out. I visited at the time of the Batman showcase which was also amazing to see :)

I was so excited to visit again (last time was 2015), but came out quite disappointed. Was there open till close and was only able to ride Wild West Falls, Justice League and Road Runner Coaster. 7 and a half hours for 3 rides.
The whole experience would be much more pleasant if Movie World actually limited the amount of admissions in a day. Lines for character photos were insane (and couldn't get many photos because we spent about 6 hrs of the day standing in ride lines).
I have no idea how families with young children manage lines that long.
Still, it was magical and the rides we did manage to get on were amazing. Heaps of shade in the main street and where most of the queues are. Plenty of food options of varying prices. Bonus points for the Warner Bros Batman showcase. It was awesome to see those iconic vehicles and costumes up close.

Excellent theme park lots of shows and rides, photo opportunities with characters and food shops of various styles and prices. Plenty of shady spots for those hot days and a small water spout play area for the little ones to enjoy in the Junior ride area. We have been each year and of course some rides close for maintenance or for construction of a new ride but that's good and it is mostly always advertised. We will keep visiting each year on our holiday because it's fun!

Great variety of rides for all ages and the character shows are fantastic and play to the true characters nature really well.
Only downside was half the rides weren't working and technical issues seemed to be a common occurrence.

We visited this place in mid February. Most rides were closed/under renovation so there’s not much to go on actually. We only tried the Justice League 3D Laser ride, which actually had a long wait, and it was just fine. The parade was good and we bought some merch. We enjoyed watching the Hollywood stunt driver, though. Other than that, the experience was just okay.

We had an absolute ball. We visited in February after school holidays. The ride waits were at most half an hour. The kids love it. The food was reasonably priced. All the characters play their rolls so well and interacted really well. I could not fault our trip and the staff really made it an experience.

Simply incredible. The adult rides are the best specially DC Rivals was out of this world. Green Lantern is another one that was impressive. Wild Wild West is a must do too. Not many kids rides but still enough to keep them occupied. Overall we had really good time. Helpful tip if you have a little one- you can get their height measured at the support staff building when you enter and they give a wrist band so you dont have to get them measured again n again at the rides

🏆 best ride is DC riders followed by superman. Be careful as the single riders queue may not be as fast as the normal one. I had waited between 15 to 50 minutes as a single rider for DC riders.
Superman is better wait wise and I could get in as early as 10 mins in, watch out for the staff calling for single riders and put your hand up.
Actually this park can be finished in half a day as it's not super huge.
The stunt show was pretty cool but I wish it were more than cars.

Visited mid week out of school holidays. Still a wait for the more popular rides but not to long. Wild West ride needs some fans the inside wait was like a sauna. Few attractions down for maintenance, so.e staff very slow in getting people on and off the rides.
Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is a water park located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It has many thrill rides and a wave pool for swimming. It is perfect for older families but can also be enjoyed by younger kids with smaller rides and slides.
Visit 12.1.22. It’s difficult to run a big venture like this but they have done a good job to fit in enough shade, seats, family and adult areas to work. The wave pool is licences and has cabanas and plenty of shaded seating. Cocktail or beer 🍺 no problem. The regular food options like pizza, hotdogs, burgers and tacos. A few fresh options like fruit and sandwiches would have been good. The rides take a while in queues but to be expected so be patient and it goes fast. Good to teens and little kids.

Was a great day out with the family
Pretty sure they have a sewage leak in the lineup waiting area at the river rapids slides. . Brown sludge dripping from overhead pipes and the smell was disgusting so we skipped that ride.
Aside from this if you take your own food in its a pretty achievable day financially for those on a budget.
Try both sides of the entry if arriving early the line up one side was enormous.
The release of riders going down slides was sometimes very painfully slow
The eating areas were clean however more shade areas could be helpful for families struggling to find shade
Lockers were $12

Probably the most enjoyable park we'd been to over the week, a few rides were closed, but the lines were flowing reasonably fast.
They have certainly made this place safe with all the gates and triple checking of rides before sending the next group of people down a slide. The rides used to be so fast when you could have 2-3 people going down 1 slide at 20-second intervals. They were the days.
Plenty of shade and places to relax. My son was flipping out because of the hot concrete, and it ruined his day, him having autism once he lost 6 could t get him back.
Carl Bronkhorst — Google review
We went on a very quiet day, Monday on school holidays, no wait at the rides or at the gates.
Very nice water park with a good range of rides from beyond thrilling to gentle ones. A dedicated area for younger ones, loads of tables, a pool wave and jacuzzi.
In my opinion, there isn't a great choice of food. We ended up having a snack elsewhere.
Check the opening hours! They are unusual.
We bought the tickets online as they were cheaper for 4 parks than for one.
Eglantine Genesty — Google review
4 star just for allowing someone to set up the tend (nothing against it just it is not allowed by their policy), and some people with babies would go around trying to find the shade.
Cabanas are not worth the money if you don't want to stay all day and are with kids. If you come before 10am it is better you will find the spot.

A great half day for families with children of all ages. Plenty of slides and areas for smaller children, lazy rivers, or a bunch of steep and interesting slides. Queues were expected and it was particularly busy during the Christmas break. A few food options in the park, along side changing room facilities, showers and lockers. Great for half or a full day, depending on tickets purchased.

Best water park we've been to. Most of the slides were open and the wait times weren't too bad as there were no school holidays, and it was during the week. Food wasn't great. Lockers are very convenient and easy parking. Water is warm. There are a lot of stairs and ramps to climb on most slides as well as sometimes having to carry a large inflatable so it can become exhausting but so much fun. Highly recommend.

We came here on June 14, 2023 and to my surprise a lot of the rides were closed including a junior area which was not shown when booking online. We still had fun but probably wouldn't go if we knew the junior pools were closed. My 5 year old son found a lot of rides scary that were marked for over 110cm height and would need one parent to catch your child at the bottom of the slide. There were a couple of double person rides but those were just a few. Not a lot of healthy food options, just burger and fries and with only one fast food place opened for the entire park. The jacuzzi area were just warm and definitely not like a hot jacuzzi. Might be because of the off season but wont go again off season.

One of the worst experiences going to the theme park of my life, all day to be able to go only in 4 rides, lines talking more than 90 min easily! Huge Line to eat, I know the park closed for 2 days because of the storm but I lost my time going to an overpopulated place. This should not be allowed due the health and safe of the people.

Not sure if it was because of the storm a couple of days back, the network was very patchy which meant the wet n wild app was not very useful in getting the tickets up, which meant we had to go through a different line even with online tickets in email. Be ready for long queues (2-3 hrs) on a public holiday for each ride and food counters. Great variety of food and drink options available inside. Will definitely visit again, but in the middle of a working week.

I had a decent time here, but as someone that was going to the park alone, it felt really horrible when (What felt like) half the slides had 2+ people requirements (And I'm not gonna go up to strangers just to ride a slide!).
Mind you, after my visit I can tell this park is likely designed around families or groups of friends, not solo travelers like myself, but it still feels crap to essentially be locked out of half the attractions because you attended alone. Feels like a design flaw to me!
I'd also agree with the signs up, after having gone the day barefoot and regretted it, bring some thongs or similar footwear you can easily slip on and off or buy some from the shop! (The shop there had a decent selection of footwear, swimmers and towels. Handy if you're not a local and didn't pack such things).
You won't notice at 1st, but towards the end of your day the concrete takes it's toll!
Lastly, the food was fairly average (I got a hotdog and the bun felt a bit stale), but this seemed to be the case across all the Village parks(IE: This place, Sea World, Movie World), I think the focus for food was on speed not quality.
Normally I tend to laugh and think it's weird when people bring their own food to an attraction/theme park, but in this case, it might not be a bad idea! (That said, it's not so bad if you can't be bothered...like I couldn't! Haha).
So solo travelers like me: Not recommended, if you get the escape pass(Which I did, lets you visit three Village parks) do an extra day at Movie World or Sea World instead.
For friend groups/families: Recommended, you'll have full access to all the slides so you'll have a bit more fun than I did.

Went on a 100% rain day and honestly found it the best thing ever. You should consider if the wind isn't strong / temp is not too cold. If you are already going to be wet, I mean why not.
I mean some rides were closed but there were not as many people around and we managed to do everything without much wait at all. Esp for little kids that just can't stand waiting. I for one can't stand waiting in the queues. Super.

All the bad parts were The floor was hot. Maybe the lazy river were dirty a little. Now I'll go do the good part. The food the cabana which I was in the view from the cabana. I think I was in the 15th one. They had a lot of food varieties, drink varieties, a bunch of stuff. Very kid friendly. They had a wave pool shut up with the wave pool. It was so good I just can't get over it. Such a wonderful time. My whole family loved it. Definitely would suggest it. Also part of the Warner Bros 7-day trial
Or something like that? Yeah was amazing. Definitely suggested five stars

Very disappointing, 3 of the major slides were closed, wait times were ok, most good rides are 2-3 person, so if on your own difficult to participate unless you can find a stranger to go with you. Wave pool is nice, but always packed.
At Paradise Country, visitors can explore Australian bush culture through wildlife encounters and farm-themed demonstrations. Activities include a tractor ride around the property and a play area with pigs, water play areas, and mining and panning for opal and gold.
Absolutely wonderful place.
So much to see and do, animals to pat, feed and look at! Great playground for children to play on, while mums and dad enjoy a coffee- winning for all! Great show that children are engaged with. Our favourite; horde riding!
So so much to see here. We get annual passes, this is how often we go! 3yrs the children are
The food is amazing, great eating area with monkeys for children to watch as you eat.

I was excited to come here, but I found it to be disappointing. It was hard to navigate around, as the signage was poor and lots of gates were locked. My 2 year old boy enjoyed the goats 🐐 and kangaroos 🦘I didn't end up spending much time here, had a quick look at the animals. The car park is far away from the entrance. I hope they make improvements in the future.

What a wonderful Mother's Day experience I had 2023. Visiting my Son, Daughter in law and Grandson on holiday from UK. I had a very special Mother's Day here at Paradise Country.... Starting the day with Breakfast which was excellent, with so much to eat and enjoying the country feel kitchen/dining it was wonderful. I was then with the family able to view Paradise Country enjoying our visit to all the area's that are offered here. Lots of animals to see, some to touch some to just experience being next to and some from a distance It was amazing and with my little Grandson I enjoyed everything he saw with excitement and awe. Even Shaun the Sheep and the entertainment offered. Also the Train was a joy to sit in a compartment and wave to everyone as we went along the road. I travelled around on my mobility scooter with no difficulty and the disabled parking was helpful in site. At some places I parked at the Pram/buggy area's so I could take a little stroll to see certain attractions with no hassle. Plenty of toilet facilities were available and considering the number of people were kept spotlessly clean. What a wonderful Day I spent. I would recommend this FAMILY day you will not get anything better.

Rhiannon was incredible with our marmoset encounter she told us so much interesting facts and we had a solid 20 minutes with the marmosets just me and my friend.
She made sure our experience was super memorable and even let us take video footage too.
She was the best !
Luke was a great photographer and also very helpful and even let us look at our photos to see if we wanted to change any to a different one.
All the staff were very kind and helpful and understanding.
Was a beautiful day and worth every cent. ❤️

We just went for the day. It was relaxing. Not sure I would have spent that much money on a day pass but when you use a yearly pass it's worth it. If you like goats and cheesy shows and peace and quiet. The kids, all 6, 6 years and under, enjoyed it. No complaining and not too much plastic stuff shoved at their eye level. I think the tractor ride should go at least twice as long and have at least twice as many carriages. All in all, a pleasant day.

UPDATE: called village roadside today to try and get a refund as per the instructions from the staff at Paradise Country. The supervision Branden was beyond rude and hung up on me after refusing to issue the refund and basically said that we have no proof that we were entitled to a refund. I will not be purchasing any more annual passes and never return to this park. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and refusing to take any responsibility for proving us with false information. Go give your money to someone who actually values it
We were a group of 6 with 2 of our friends having annual village road show passes but we were told that it didn’t include entry to paradise country so we bought 2 extra tickets for a $100 only to find out at the entrance that our passes do include a free entry and we were $100 out of pocket for no reason.
The park was a total disappointment, the sheep shearing was gone, the cafe closed. We tried to book a table for lunch at the restaurant online but it was apparently all booked again not the case it was nearly empty when we got there but we had already eaten by then because we thought we couldn’t have lunch.
The park itself was really sad and neglected, we saw one dingo and one emu. The tractor ride lasted 2 min and really wasn’t worth jumping on. They have stopped the sheep shearing and the kangaroo feeding so we didn’t get to interact with any animals at all it felt like we paid $50 each to walk around an empty park.
The biggest disappointment was deciding to treat the kids to a Koala photo (kids are 11,9 and 8) we paid $75 and queued up for 20 min only to be told that the koala was too heavy for the kids to hold and they had to take a photo just standing next to the handler. The kids were so disappointed and we felt deceived by the woman who sold us the tickets as she made no mention of it when he specifically asked if the kids could all get a photo.
We went to Currumbin Wildlife a few days ago which is significantly better, more value for money and a lot more interactive with the animals. I wouldn’t go back to paradise country but judging by their responses to negative reviews it doesn’t look like they care

Do not get a koala picture
Unless you want a big dirty hand of the holder to be in it.. yuk better elsewhere like the Brisbane sanctuary and we only came here because of the local yearly 4 theme park pass.
What a waste of time..
Definitely needs to be taking of the deal

We are locals and we are a family of four, we are regular costumers and we visit paradise country buffet at least 3 times per month.
The buffet it's amazing! The food is great, roast beef, pork are just unreal, the salads are amazing, we also love your fire place it's great for the kids after such a great food.
And all staff member are so friendly and very helpful, we definitely recommend the buffet to all our friends
Please keep doing such a great job!! And cooking such a great food! We definitely coming back!

We have yearly theme park passes and decided to check it out! It is a rather longish walk from the car park to the entrance so keep that in mind! It’s a lovely little park with plenty of Australian animals, plus the meerkats and little monkeys are very cute! I think for children under 10 it’s a great place for a couple of hours! We got a milkshake and ice cream from the cafe and the restaurant area looks like a nice place for a meal which we will try next time! If we didn’t have yearly passes and paid the normal entrance fee would be a little disappointing for the value for money but with passes I think we will visit a few times a year.

A tiny place, suitable for kids aged 2-8. The elder kids might found bored here 😛
A lovely place with Aussie unique animals like Koalas and kangaroos. U can touch kangaroos in the wild area. They are gentle and relax! Kids will love them.
We spent around 2 hrs here. A nice walk😊

We visited this place only because it was part of the 7day village roadshow super pass, never heard of this place before. After having really great experience at other theme parks .We had worst experience at this place with some of the staff, especially the ones working near the tractor ride area, who treat people differently probably they are trying to show some racism. You have to wait like 20min to place an order in the farmhouse restaurant, staff just ignore you .You need to buy seperate tickets for some animal encounters & rides .Most of the animal places were empty. Not at all worth the time and money you pay for this place. We left the place in a hour.Recommend visiting any other theme park second time rather than wasting time here.
Haritha 2125 — Google review
It’s a cool park showing some Australian animals. Some strange inclusions though, nothing to do with australia (like meerkats and monkeys)
It’s also missing some of the charm of the original paradise country. Would be nice to see sheep shearing and cow milking like back in the old days.
Also, be warned, there is no cheap food and drink options. $8 for a sausage roll is the cheapest option. The buffet is well priced and delicious though ($16 for kids and $24 for adults).

Been a few times over the years with kids. This time was definitely not worth the $$ you pay. Shows have either changed or weren't on and a lot of empty enclosures compared to previous experiences. Prices need to reflect the experiences and they need to improve or lose customers. Amenities and food were good.

I wanted to send my sincere gratitude for the staff of Paradise Country, particularly Montana in the farmyard. My daughter practically set up camp there to spend time with the animals. Montana took the time to engage with my kids, helped to educate them and include them. She gave them far more of an experience than she was required. Montana is passionate, knowledgeable and kind. Great work Montana and thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lucky we had entry included in our annual pass. I would have been very unimpressed paying the entry fee, and seeing everything in an hour. Pony rides were 'sold out' but there was no one there in the time it was supposed to be operating. The shows were boring, the host didn't really know what she was doing. She apologized for the staff shortages, but is it lack of money coming into the park to pay wages the reason for no staff?? The walk from the carpark to paradise country and back is quite a hike. I couldn't imagine what it would be like for an elderly/special needs person. After we seen everything, I couldn't think of anything worse than sitting in the restaurant spending another $100 on food. The food mustn't have been very good, as there were many tables with most of the food still in the plates! So we left very disappointed. The drive past the sound stage, and all the horses from outback spectacular was more interesting. After reading many reviews stating the same thing, I wonder what will change within this park??
AS — Google review
Lots of great animals to interact with and see. However, I saw everything the park had to offer in under 2 hours. Really enjoyed my time here but I only recommend going if you have a pass and can enter for free. The $100+ entry fee + extra money for every animal interaction seems steep for a few hours of fun.
Dylan K — Google review
Can't give 5 stars as we only went for the koala photos for the kids. We got entry included as we were staying at seaworld.
Lorikeet feeding was awesome, being able to pat the kangaroos was great also. Very similar to lone pine.

Lovely weekend getaway, just a short drive from Brissie. Our 2 year old has been really into farm animals from reading his board books, so we thought we'd treat him to a farmstay!
Love the easy access to Paradise Country from the eco-tents (we had the family tent, which was spacious and comfortable for our first time glamping). Morning and afternoon activities before/after the park's public access hours were a huge highlight with cow milking, egg collecting, goat feeding, and twilight hangouts with native furry friends. The shows during public hours were also good. Wish they had actually shown the process for making damper, but gosh it was delicious!
Food at the restaurant was pretty pricey for single items but the dinner buffet at $35 was a good option (you could also have buffet breakfasts and lunches but we didnt want 3 buffets in a day). You could bring your own cold food e.g. cereal and milk as there is a minibar in the tent.
Only negatives about the place are that I thought some areas could be tidied, but maybe there's building or revamping planned; and the price being on the expensive side, but it seems like absolutely everything costs a pretty packet these days. We kept it simple with no add-ons and, in total, spent $400 for accommodation (got a good deal on a non-school-holiday weekend) and $100 on food.
The shared amenities block was modern and clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and the animals super cute. All in all, it was a wonderful experience for our little family.

Don't bother.
There's almost no shade. Animals outside look stressed and uncomfortable. Staff say they're too busy because it's school holidays... That's on management for not hiring enough people.
Long walk from the carpark, which in itself is tiny and poorly signposted.
Overall, very little to do here.
Such a great experience

We spent a lovely day at Gummies. We booked a groupon 1/2 day horse riding tour and boomerang throwing and whip cracking. The horses were healthy and in good condition. 5 kids aged 6,7,8,9&10 and 2 adults, Gummies catered to us perfectly. Our kids had a great experience with home made damper for morning tea. Good value for money, especially for a different experience for school holidays. We spent a whole 1 hour riding, including trotting which made my kids day. It was at a slow and gentle pace which suits our kids ages and experience. The staff were chatty and welcoming.

This is a wonderful experience to introduce to young people. Horse rising, cow milking, boomerang throwing, whip cracking and feeding the goats.
The horses were chosen according to the person. My daughter had a placid perfectly paced horse. She was scared at the beginning ( 6 yrsold) but the guides made her feel very comfortable. It was just a genuinely nice ride.
Animals were well fed. I would have given 5 stars but I really thought that the manager whilst there could have possibly made a bit more of an effort to make things a bit more tidier. I wasn’t expecting a palace as I know it’s a farm however maybe just a little better managed with the cleaning side of things.the overall appearance.

Had an awesome time today - to be honest read previous reviews and was a little worried. They were not warranted.
Courtney, Jen and Yumi were awesome and the horses lovely and well chosen to each individual rider.
The stories on the horses being rescues was a big plus for me and the care in training and reintroducing them to a safe and caring environment to me worth 5 stars.
Lovely walking over the property and through the trails - and even a trot to end the ride with. My friend and I chose a 90 minute ride and loved it! We will be returning girls - Thankyou for a wonderful afternoon.

If you are in Gold Coast area and if you have time, do visit this Alpaca farm. For as low as $40, you get to spend 30 minutes with an Alpaca of your choice. Upon arrival, the staff asked us about our preference. Since we had a kid, asked the staff to select and Alpaca for us. We were then introduced to Ernie.
Ernie was so sweet and easy to handle. The moment we went out to the fields, all she wanted to do was eat. We were given a bag of Alpaca food. Apart from that, Alpaca also eat the grass. Alpacas are known to spit at one another but in my case Ernie was well behaved. I believe if you take more than 1 Alpaca, you might get spit at but hey, that is part of the experience.
Do remember to check out the beautiful river which is right beside. Well worth the visit. Special mention to the awesome staff who are very patient to explain all the details!

Great ways to see Alpaca up front, you can feed them and also put a leash and walk them around the park. $5 for a bag of food and $35 to walk them. Each has its own personality, some will spit at you if you don't feed them.

Visiting the alpaca farm was a delightful experience. I relished the opportunity to walk and feed the alpacas, even having the freedom to choose my walking companion. My girlfriend and I had a picnic here, which can be booked on their website, and an experience with alpacas. My assessment is more than excellent, we had a great afternoon. The picnic is a bit expensive but still worth it, the wine was really good. Also the alpaca experience is definitely worth it, especially if you want to take some fun souvenir photos. Fantastic animals. Ask for information because there is a lot to know about alpacas.

The Alpaca walked me around the area and showed me where all the best grass was. When it was all over he just laid down and refused to let me leave. I think I might be an Alpaca whisperer. We had time to reflect on my new found super power over a bottle of bubbles and a picnic next to a rocky but rumbling brook.
Bubbles good. Food great. The chicken could be crispier, the bread could be more crusty. But minor quibbles really, the basket had lots of amazing sides and I was pretty chuffed all in all. Full points for accommodating the GF people.

I recently visited Mountview Alpaca Farm, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, Maria, the staff member, greeted us with infectious energy and a warm smile. Her friendly and helpful nature made our visit even more enjoyable.
Walking the alpacas was an absolute blast, and Coconut, the alpaca with a wicked attitude, stole our hearts. She had a mind of her own and made the experience all the more entertaining. The alpacas' adorable names like Coconut, Popcorn, and Peaches added a whimsical touch to the day.
The farm's shop was a delightful addition, offering a wide range of cozy beanies, scarves, ponchos, and alpaca-related novelties.
Overall, Mount View Alpaca Farm exceeded our expectations. The alpacas, the staff, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere made it an experience we will cherish. I highly recommend visiting this charming farm to anyone seeking a memorable and heartwarming day with these enchanting creatures.
A special shout-out to Maria, whose energy and dedication made our visit truly exceptional. Thank you for the wonderful memories! We can't wait to visit again soon.
