The food was fantastic! The deconstructed sushi and Lamb shanks with the zesty potato were an absolute hit! The owner is an absolute legend and such a great host!
We were here for a wedding and it was a beautiful place to hold an intimate and romantic setting.
Would highly recommend trying their menu or holding intimate private wedding and functions here.

A very nice art stop with a nice quality exhibition and a very arty workspace + restaurant. A good view of the outside and grassy area for some small walk and fresh air. Very nice 4 star review.
Vicky Wong — Google review
Food eatable but certainly overpriced for its presentation (wine also) salads a bit sad, not everybody is vego or vegan, needs more pasta dishes. Restaurant seating and table area has an overall grimy look. Gardens peaceful to stroll in, but would have like to have visited inside the retro cottage, but not open to the public on Saturdays, a bit strange!

A lovely gallery and cafe with great exhibitions. A wonderful place for an outing to see whatever display they have at the time of your visit and the cafe has a great selection to pick from with reasonable prices. The grounds are a beautiful spot to relax. A great place to visit.

We booked in for lunch. It was easy and quick to book a table via their website. I had the crispy duck salad... It was delicious and I would definitely go back another time to order the same meal. The art was interesting and worth a look. The gardens/grass areas were nice with a few picnic tables, other areas had bench seats for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor nature spaces.

Beautiful gallery, beautiful gardens, still encasing the original home. A summers day would be lovely here. easy parking for all, easy to navigate for people with Mobility issues, staff very friendly. Main gallery was closed, as they were setting up for new artist's, but was still able to see paintings from various artists in large foyer, and gallery store on site. No problems with taking pictures of art. Cafe food was a bit of a disappointment, was not hot, so took it back, which they promptly recooked. Still wasn't hot (poached eggs need to be hot). It was still tasty though. Doesn't put me off coming back, as after all I was there for the art after all

Lovelye place, great curation albeit a bit small. There seems to be painting and pottery classes for local residents too. Easy to get to via public transport (train to Sutherland, short bus ride). Also a nice cafe in the premises.

Gallery was amazing. Food in restaurant was delish:) Unfortunately, one big bald man from the restaurant ruined our experience after berating us for not picking a table before ordering our food - even though the restaurant was 90% empty and my sister pointed to a perfectly suitable table indoors to sit at. He also said we couldn't add a small table to the chosen table so we could have a spot for the baby and said we needed to sit out in the sun with our 18month old in the heat. We respectfully ignored him and added the table. I did say that he should have a sign with the rules if he is going to berate customers about ordering before picking a table. Very unnecessary behaviour.

Hazelnuts Arts Centre is a cultural oasis in the midst of large garden. It is a short walk from Gymea station with some off street parking.
The current exhibitions "Lost in the Forest" is a series of images of foliage, flora and lush garden scenes that is exquisically crafted. The artist Amy Jones has used an extensive range of textile techniques and embroidery stitches to create her detailed intricate compositions, a visual feast for the eyes.
The second exhibition we saw was this year's ART EXPRESS. I am never disappointed by the quality and innovative concepts that these HSC Visual Arts students come up with. They demonstrate innovative interpretations of personal, cultural, environmental and political concepts. The media chosen and skill shown is amazing.
The gallery also has a cafe and gift shop. Would highly recommend a visit.

Westfield Miranda is a large shopping mall located in the southern suburbs of Sydney. It is perfect for shoppers who want to be able to find everything they need in one place, and the parking is easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the mall itself is clean and organized.
After waiting 2 hours to get into the car park today. Matt was very polite in letting us know that valet was full and also pointed out an empty car spot for us to park. Lovely manners and very polite. Definitely deserves kudos for dealing with so many drivers
Cassandra Alexiou — Google review
After coming here on a few occasions and recently moving to Miranda, this has become our local ‘store’. Kmart and Big W are a nice touch, nice car park, good play areas to drop off the kids.
My reason for the 1 star is the lack of air conditioning, it’s so hot; I have to walk into a store every few minutes to get some cold air. It’s not even summer, I can’t imagine how bad it’s going to be then.
Not to mention the escalators constantly being out of service, getting from Kmart to the coffee shop one floor below meant walking an additional 100 metres.
This place does not meet the Westfield standards. It’s the first shopping centre I’ve been to that’s trying to cut costs by turning off the air conditioning, what a joke. I can’t help but feel bad for the small businesses inside, losing customers due to a lack of escalators.
You have to walk further (in the heat) and end up giving up on where you’re going, just to step outside or into a random store to get some nice cool air.

I had a great shopping experience at Westfield Miranda! The variety of stores and dining options is impressive. The mall is clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly. However, parking can be a bit of a hassle during peak hours. Overall, a fantastic place for shopping and dining.
Scott Manley — Google review
Great place if you go early in the morning before most of the shops open. I managed a lightning strike on Kmart at 8am. I was in and out of the Centre in less than 10 minutes. The parking is also easy at that time.
Graham Brooker — Google review
Valet provides an excellent service and in a day like today the bottled water was a godsend.
Noah, one of your employees, was also very helpful directing us to valet from Kmart (we were a bit confused). He carried our heavy packages, walked us to the loft and directed us where to go. Made it all so much easier. Thank you.

microblading and spa nails pmu beauty westfield miranda. Shop 1030, opposite Telstra at level 1
This salon is the worst thing happened to miranda Westfield. The girls working hear are big time crooks and scammers. I had my own nail paint from home to show the girls working their, as a sample color for my pedicure but they painted my nail with the same nail color and charged me $40
When I asked them to change it, they threatened to call security to push me out of their store. I got scammed from them to paint my personal nail paint on my nails and charged me $40
They are extremely rude and behave like this with almost all their clients
Beware, don't get scammed the way I did

Splendid shopping complex in the south side of Sydney, called Westfield-Miranda. All the renowned brands can be found under the single roof. This place provides an opportunity for the selection of wide variety of shops. Enough resting places, food courts, restrooms, digital navigation system are maintained well. The camera automated car parking is free for 4 hours. This shopping complex can engage a visitor for 4 hours just roaming around the shops.

I love this place. A lot of shops and medical surgeries. Easy to get around with escalators, travelators, stairs and lifts however if you have to use the lifts you need a lot of patience, they are very slow to arrive. If you need to borrow a wheelchair or power scooter they are happy to loan for free. Heaps of parking and free for 2 hours and more if you are a Westfield member. Check their website first. The food courts and restaurants are excellent and very reasonable prices and variety. Many toilets & parents rooms throughout. Movie theatres. Good signage to guide you around. Very easy to spend an entire day here.

I visited Miranda Westfield on Saturday and i was blown away by the level of service provided by the Westfield staff. Saturday was extremely busy in the centre and I was approached by a staff member offering directions to a store I was searching for; then again in the car park on my way out directing traffic. Both staff members I was approached by were friendly, informative and helpful and made what would normally be an overwhelming experience a pleasant one. Well done Westfield Miranda, you made my day! Keep up the good work!

One of the biggest shopping mall in Southern Sydney. Lot of renowned shops are there. All the big brand outlets are there for convenient shopping. Mall is perfectly maintained and facilities are there. Love ❤️ they have lot of spacious waiting area for shoppers. Varieties of food outlets are there in food courts. Rest rooms are clean and maintained properly. Lot of parking places with automated number plate recognition as well as 4 hours free parking for Westfield Plus users.

Great event for the kids - my 4yr old really enjoyed herself! The space was decorated beautifully and there fun things to keep the kids entertained between the Easter Bunny's visits. Suggestion to get the 4 stars to 5... keep the parents out of the area once it starts, as there were way too many people in a small space & some benches or seats for those of us who stayed out the way, would be appreciated. Otherwise, it was lovely!

Grew up with this centre and I’ve tried to move out of the shire but I just can’t because Westfield has everything you’ll ever need. It’s too convenient to move away from. Never been to another centre that is like this but not insanely busy (like Bondi)

A spacious shopping mall that offers one-stop shopping plus entertainment for all ages. The coffee shop at the food court level and the famous Chinese Ding Tai Feng restaurant are my favourite eating places. The shop windows are attractively and tastefully decorated. There are sofas and chairs dotted around the mall for tired shoppers and children to take a rest and recharge. The bright and airy mall provides a pleasant shopping and eating experience for all.

It's a mall. Wide variety of shops which all seem occupied which is good. Ample parking free for 3 hours. Always clean and tidy looking. All escalators now working, but the layout of the is odd to move up from bottom to top floors.

Fabulous Westfield's, it has every shop, every brand it's beautiful and modern which makes shopping fun. Plenty of parking, beautiful seating for a rest. The David Jones store is a really good one. There are lots of great cafes and restaurants upstairs, outside. The fabulous tree was kept and has decking around it. We love shopping there.

When it comes to traffic management, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
It took 2 hours to get out of the car park today because traffic does not allow vehicles to exit and those turning left into the kingsway won't allow vehicles exiting onto Kiora Rd
Stupidity would be an understatement for the pathetic management that run this operation.
If I could give zero stars I would.
I rang nsw traffic management and they could see that the congestion was caused by vehicles blocking the exits and not allowing cars to exit. Traffic signalling could be changed but it made little difference as no one realised what was causing the bottlenecks.
Pity that management can't realise what the issues are and it made the shopping experience a complete debacle.
There were elderly people, parents with screaming kids , sick people and disabled all waiting patiently and some impatiently that had better things to do with their time than to stop start and take forever to get OUT of the carpark.
A complete breach of safety protocols as people were pushing and shoving to try and force their way out of the carpark.
Nestled within the picturesque Camellia Gardens, The Jade Teahouse is a charming dining spot offering a delightful experience. With its quaint indoor dining area and outdoor seating overlooking the lush gardens, it's an ideal setting for brunch, lunch, or high tea. Renowned for its delectable scones and homemade tea blends, this teahouse also caters to children with a special kid's High-Tea menu.
Having a tea house within Camellia Garden is genius. They serve high tea and also light meals here. The tea menu is extensive and so interesting 🫖💓 Service is also friendly and down to earth. A must try if you’re visiting the gardens.

Congrats to the new owners!!
I’ve been so looking forward to coming to have tea and scones.
The tea and dessert are great!!! Just to clarify my 2 stars , not for the food at all . The food itself as I’ve been coming here for years are 5 stars.
The service to be desired. We got a great seat!!!
But service started very poorly.
Was bought a bottle of water , after ordering and asking for glasses , that’s 10/15min , they were bought over . Dessert served …… but where’s the tea…. . It eventually came after asking …and nearly finishing the dessert. No sugar no milk.
All in all some tweaking to do with staff.
All in all I will come back as I really do like that place and this review is only to make you better!
Good luck Jade

This Teahouse is inside Camellia Garden. Very peaceful lovely tea house surrounded by a lot a green from Camellia Garden.
I bought a book named “Mrs. Cook” about Captain Cook wife’s life. From the book I knew that Camelia Garden is a place to honour Mrs. Cook. I decided to visit the Garden. Before that I did some research and knew about this Teahouse. I was satisfied with lunch and time I had at the Teahouse.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR KIDS HIGH TEA PARTY
Over charged with food, nothing else is included aside from the juice and the middle aged lady wearing black glasses could be the owner or waitress asked me more than 5 times if we’re taking the food home. Obviously we’re not even halfway with our coffee and food still barely touched. Let us finish the food we paid for. It was booked for kids high tea and expectedly they will make noise and run around our table which was not much room to even get up.
DONOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID, SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Such a gorgeous spot. I love that there’s two playgrounds to for kids. There’s ample seating outside near the play area too. Food is good, a little pricey, but worth it as part of the whole experience. I’d love it if the Devonshire tea was served with strawberry jam. It was maybe a rhubarb jam I got given. The teahouse has a lovely vibe, and very pretty set up. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Will be back.

Such a quaint and enchanting tea house. From the moment you enter you are greeted with a visual display of otherworldly tea cups and charm of yesteryear. The food is delicious and their specialty whole leaf teas will delight you. The setting in the Camelia gardens gives you the opportunity to wander along tree lined pathways with displays of flowering Camellia depending on the season, ducks and running streams. The perfect location to unwind and relax after a heavy week. Highly recommend you book a table with your friends as this place is very popular. I was there in April during the flowering season.

A worthwhile spur of the moment decision to drop in for a morning coffee. I had not been to the teahouse for more than 10:years.A tranquil atmosphere surrounded by greenery and a refreshing light breeze on the balcony was ideal and my cappuccino was perfect. To top it off the staff were lovely, accommodating and very helpful!
I will definitely return to try some of the organic varieties of teas and delicious cakes.

Good service, food was tasty, BYO alcohol option.
Had the high tea at the teahouse.
We arrived at our allocated time and our table was still being set up. The gardens was a pretty location so didn't mind the wait as we looked at the plants.
There was no rush us to leave after we overstayed our allocated time.
We only had 1 water jug for our party of 6. One water jug was not near enough to fill 6 small tumblers of water. Would be better if there was enough table water for the party. I didn't mind because I don't drink table tap water, but still wasn't enough water for the people who may want to drink the water.
The food was presented well, and tasty.
The soft drinks were served differently amongst our party. One person in the party received a can with their soft drink in a glass. Another person in the party only received a glass of soft drink. The size of the glass held half of the soft drink in a can. The quantity of soft drink wasn't the same. Would be better if there was a standard for serving drinks.

My husband and I booked a beginners guided tour with them and had an amazing experience we'll never forget. It was our first time ever trying kayaking and neither of us can swim that well. We had been thinking of taking it up for the longest of time but had been too afraid. Through their training and guidance, they made it feel so easy and so enjoyable that we have now become confident enough to go kayaking by ourselves. Thank you so much for helping us get over our fears and to actually enjoy the experience. Amazing team, amazing place, and everything was just perfect ❤️
PS: besides a kind and friendly guide we also got a personal photographer. Thanks Marnie for the tour and the beautiful photographs of us trying kayaking for the first time.

First time Kayaking for my kids and they had a wonderful time. Bruce was our guide and did a great job sharing history and knowledge of the surrounding area. For my wife and 2 kids it was a great way to spend the morning in Bundeena and I’m sure this won’t be the last time we kayak with the kids.
Highly recommend taking the ferry across from Cronulla or the drive through the Royal National park which was pretty special and worth taking the time to do as well.
Thank you Bruce and Bundeena Kayaks.

We had a fantastic time on tour with Bruce on Sunday, it was the best! Weather wasn't even co-operating and it was a little cool with high winds but he made it so easy (as beginners and one scaredy cat) and manageable, it was fun, informative, breathtaking down the Cabbage Tree Basin. We will be so back for more tours this summer. Thanks guys! Well worth it.

The kayaks we booked were available as requested with no issues. The sign-in process was very easy & they had areas for us to store our stuff while we kayaked. The staff who helped us gave us tips on where we could safely kayak, went to the trouble of taking photos for us and was also very friendly & nice.
When we were heading too far out, one of the staff came out to help us. He was nice but also very funny when pointing out we were sitting backwards (we confused ourselves when we banked the kayak on the sand bay & got back in the water 😂) but they cared for our safety. Reasonably priced too. $50 for 2 hours.
My partner who has never kayaked before enjoyed it so much that he wants to go back & he is not an outdoorsy person! 10 outta 10 (or 5 out of 5 in this case)

Bundeena Kayaks was terrific. Super friendly instructor who made it all so easy. She took us through the basics and then lead us around various parts of the area, all the while checking that everyone was OK. There were total beginners as well as people who wanted a refresher and our guide catered for all.

I've booked with Bundeena Kayaks quite a few times over the years and it's always a good time! The staff are friendly and also were kind enough to accommodate our late arrival. Love that there are a few areas you can kayak too as well. Would definitely book with them again :)
The Cronulla Beach Walk is a great place to relax, swim and walk. Along the beautiful coastline, you'll find stunning beaches, rockpools, parks and playgrounds. On Monday to Friday before 10am and after 4pm, dogs are only allowed off-lead at Greenhills Beach.
A beautiful walk that reminds me of the Bondi walk, but less busy and more pram / stroller / wheelchair friendly. Can get busy but definitely worth it, and there are so many parks and scenic points to stop off at.

It's a beautiful pristine beach with golden sands stretching out both in length and breadth. Beautiful seagulls swarming the beach makes it such a scenic beauty.
This is a huge piece of sandstone that features multiple aboriginal carvings dating back over a millennia! The carvings are maintained by descendants and can be viewed from a raised and very well maintained platform. They are tough to make out but they are there - younger eyes are a help. The track from Jibbon Beach is fairly close and a much easier hike than from the top of the Royal Coast Walk. Either way, know that those excellent facilities you see at the beginning of the trails are not going to be seen again further in, so bring your water and prepare accordingly. The carvings are close, there is a an excellent interpretive area right before the carvings that happened to be a regular campsite for aboriginals from when the carvings initially took place and likely well before. A fantastic site in a fantastic park!

We had a great walk in perfect weather. I suppose you need a bit of imagination to spot all the engravings but we could make out some of it. It remains impressive that it was made so long ago.

Really simple walk from the end of jibbon Beach. Very fun to look at this well preserved history and read the stories that go along with it. The raised walk way so you can look down on the etchings is a great additive. Bring some shoes to walk there from the end of the beach as there was some glass around.

Pretty interesting to see these old rock carvings, you have to search to see some, but there is an elevated platform to view the rocks with signs of the carvings.
South Cronulla Beach is a long, sandy beach that is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and tanning. The beach is easily accessible by train, making it the perfect stop for lazy days at the beach. Additionally, South Cronulla Beach is home to several family-friendly attractions like seaside restaurants and leafy parks that make it a great destination for all ages.
South Cronulla Beach
Glorious day today at South Cronulla Beach, full sun, air temperature of 27 and water temperature of 21. Beach opened at lunch time, closed before then due to dangerous rips. The water felt warmer than 21, it was great. Lots of beach sand erosion though like most Sydney beaches at this time. Still a great spot. The south side on the steps in front of Surf Club was the pick, near the water and cafes. Up went our umbrella in the holes provided, thank you council.

A nice little beach with some lovely rock pools full of life. Some great shells to be found at low tide.

A wonderful place to come for a swim at either the Beach or you can try the Rockpool. There’s very good toilet facilities including disability toilets and showers to get the sand off after your swim. There’s various restaurants, cafes and takeaway options to choose from when you get hungry. There is parking available including disability parking but this is a very popular spot so it can get full very fast especially on the weekends and during school holidays. It is walking distance from Cronulla train station and also bus stops. You have quite a large park where there’s a children’s playground area and quite a few tables and chairs scattered around but again these can be occupied very fast, but you could also just bring your own chairs and/or towels to sit on. I really enjoy coming here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Crowded beach with average toilet facilities. Hardly any water stations along the coastal walk. The views are picturesque though.

This is the spot to stopover with families. It has a great breach, smaller playground for 3 - 6 year olds, a good mix of takeaway places bordering the grass areas for simplicity.

There are varieties of things to do and have fun in the beach. I have been interested in nature so, enjoyed observing algae, sea shells and walking in the rocks. Staying in the shade reading books.

Beautifully blue on this morning as I swam and I baked in an attempt to get a bit of colour on my legs. South Cronulla is more family oriented and has a cozy feel to it. Perhaps that’s why I gravitate there. A great fish and chip shop close by, plus cafes and a five minute walk to the holiday-vibe plaza. But who needs a plaza when you’ve got this? 🏖
11/1 - South ‘nully this morning is gentle and quite still for swimming. Kids do backflips on the sand and young girls in frilly costumes remind you of something past. Families of joy today, still bringing the Christmas spirit. Like July/August in parts of Europe, December/January is our time out. To the right of the second photograph is the Cronulla Pavilion where the lifeguards sit and Barefoot on the Beach, a fab cafe and food place.

One of the finest beach on the south South Sydney. Thousands of people were taking the Sun bath under the 40oC hot Sun. The parking was big but still filled and roam around 10 minutes to park. The best thing was leaning on the beach and dive in.

Cronulla Beach South is a straightforward, nice beach. No surfers in sight, but that's okay. The facilities are pretty decent, and when it comes to seating, you're sorted. There's a cafe, some grassy areas, and, of course, the beach itself. It might be on the smaller side, but it's surprisingly lively. A good spot if you're after a no-fuss, enjoyable beach day.

The centre is great for kids learning to swim but also on a hot day with the choice of indoor or outdoor pools. The outdoor pool has a depth of 1.2m making it a great option for a swim in the sun with your little one. The middle indoor pool has a depth of 1.1m. I take my daughter here for the Learn To Swim school every week and it’s a fantastic program, the staff are very patient with the kids and parents. Highly recommended.

Good place to get kids swimming lessons. Many coaches with different teaching style. You can also change your coach if your kids can't cope with the lessons. This centre also provides once per day lessons during school holidays which I think kids would improve their swimming skills much faster than once per week. The adults swimming class sounds good too. I would like to join when kids are old enough to change their own clothes.

Being a public place, it is well managed and lives up to industry quality and facilities standards. It is relatively new so time will tell if the standards are maintained over the course of time but for the moment it is a great place. The only downside being it is too crowded (which is why the 4 stars) as they not only have swimming lessons but there is a reasonably sized water play area for kids.
Kamalpreet Sawhney — Google review
A reasonable public swimming pool. Nothing extraordinary. The shower area and lockers need more maintenance and cleanliness. Most of the indoor pool area is always taken up by instructors and students. So little to no space for a leisurely swim! Good and safe place for children to get used to water.

Do you want to learn how to swim? Well, Hornsby Aquatic and Leisure Centre also has available swimming lessons!
If you have a toddler or baby who loves going into water, you’re in luck — there’s a very shallow area designed especially just for babies and little children!
For extra security, this awesome swimming location has a board, or rather, sign talking about who should be guided with an adult or not, depending on age or skill as well.
Additional safety for your little kids and additional fun included (there’s a huge waterslide) is amazing for you and your kid. Start your swimming summer fun today at this amazing location — Hornsby Aquatic and Leisure Centre!

My family and I go multiple times a week, the facilities are good and the kids enjoy going. It’s a shame so much of the swimming space is closed off for swim squads and lessons if you’ve just come for day entry, it can be crammed. The parking is an issue but the kids love going!
Mikala Young — Google review
It's a nice enough pool but you are completely excluded from using it while swimming carnivals are on. So for two months of the year, Mondays to Fridays during the hottest part of the day you can't use the outside pool, but then they also shut the inside pool during those same times. Leave the general public *something*! I won't be buying a multi visit pass again.
Lori — Google review
such a great and family-friendly pool, with a beautiful bush backdrop. So inspiring with the birds waking up on a morning swim.
Christopher Tucker — Google review
They didn't tell us that all indooor pools are occupied with swimming lessons on a weekend - neither over the phone nor when we arrived and bought the tickets!
Water temperature in the indoor pools is not 30 as they tell, barely 28, which makes a huge difference in the swimming comfort for some people.
zorro g — Google review
3-5 pm super crowded (6-8 ppl /lane) that I can understand. But the outdoor 50m pool and female change room are incredibly dirty.
Not only with sand and leaves, but also bandages, hair ties, and just old dirt on the ground and the bottom of the pool.
There are so many other options around this area for swimming. Never have had experience this. Plus, casual visit is $9.-
MT Chang — Google review
Not great for lap swimming, for anyone who works, as there are squads taking up half the pool both morning and evening, and the pool closes soon after the squads finish in the evening. This is often worse in the evening as aqua-robics often takes up two or three of the remaining lanes.
During February and early March the pool is closed from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM with swimming carnivals on weekdays, and some days on the weekends. This is unlikely to effect people who work weekdays, but it is also worth checking for evening carnivals, and avoiding trying to swim on those days.
The mornings are generally better than the evenings (weekdays), for laps, with both being crowded, but generally the lanes seem to flow better in the mornings.
On a hot day, especially during school holidays, the pool is ridiculously crowded, just a no go for lap swimming, except possibly early mornings. Also swimmer behaviour during peak times is often poor.
The pool closes ridiculously early, 7:45 Monday to Thursday, and 6:45 Friday, Saturday and Sunday, closing within 15 to 30 minutes of squads finishing. This is the same all year around, and is especially ludicrous during summer, and doubly so on extremely hot days, as it is full daylight and very hot when the pool closes. It is also extremely crowded on hot days. By way of comparison the YMCA pool at West Pymble is open until nine weekdays.
Overall transport is good, as the Pool is within easy walking distance of the station, and has some parking, which is often full especially in the evenings and during summer months. There are also bike racks available.
Staff are friendly, and the facilities clean and modern, just not sufficient for the demand.
John Moylan — Google review

Nice pools for all ages, good toilets and hot showers to freshen up after a swim or a workout at their gym. Also free parking under the pools with direct access via elevator or stairs to the front entrance.
danny philippe — Google review
Filthy.....I have been using this pool for 5 years and, until recently, was very happy. However, over the last few months there has been a noticeable drop off in pool cleaning. The pool is filthy, with a large amount of leaf litter, hair bunches, plastic pieces etc etc as well as brown sediment in deeper areas, so thick that some pool users have written comments on the pool floor. It is clear that the pool floor has not been vacuumed for a long time.
In addition, when swimming, the water contains numerous floaters (plastic etc) which highlights the poor filtration. The conditions are disgraceful and a poor indictment of pool management.

Darling Harbour, one of Sydney's most popular tourist destinations, is located adjacent to the Central Business District and is home to many of the city's major attractions. The neighborhood is also known for its nightlife and romantic atmosphere.
Celebrated my last night of a three week stay in Sydney, Australia on this lovely harbor of vast entertainment. A variety of restaurants, pubs, hotels and scenic party boats to take you in and out of the harbor. Stopped into a sports bar & grill near the docked riverboats for drinks with the family. Just taking in all the beautiful sites and people were enough to wet the palate. A must see in downtown Sydney.

An impromptu visit meant we just enjoyed what was available. Could not find a place to sit down and eat so settled for take-out and eating from a park bench which was fine. But loved the walkabout in a beautiful setting. Not overly busy (other than the couple of restaurants that were open and understaffed and over capacity)....so enjoyed strolling around. Most places closed so missing some of the buzz, but a pleasant evening out.

Breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from.
The only issue we ran into was the incessant dog barking- which was quickly remedied by moving to a higher floor.

Especially families with children
Take your kids on a boat ride to see the beautiful waters
I felt relaxed over the weekend
You can also let the child be quiet for dozens of minutes

The Australian National Maritime Museum, situated on Darling Harbour, showcases naval vessels, including a replica of Captain Cook's Endeavor, as well as hosting temporary exhibits. It is the country's oldest museum and has evolved to engage visitors of all ages. With interactive displays and hands-on activities, it aims to entertain and educate children while fostering their curiosity. In addition to the historical maritime exhibits, visitors can explore immersive experiences like the Antarctica VR encounter until October 30th, 2019.
A great museum that I have taken my kids to a number of times over the years.
Has awesome number of ships you can get on and explore. There’s a few old time large sail ships, a modern(ish) naval destroyer and even a submarine you can board too.
The actual inside of the museum shows the history of Australian maritime over the years.
There are plenty of staff around to help and to inform.
It is a great day out with kids, young and old!

A highlight of our visit was meeting David, the model maker, who was truly excellent. He went out of his way to explain many things to the kids and was friendly throughout. David's engaging explanations kept both kids and adults entertained, making our visit truly enjoyable. We had a great time exploring the museum!

It was definitely worth the visit to this museum, I especially loved the photography Exhibition as I am a huge photography buff. The ships were wonderful also. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go into the submarine as I found it a bit too constricting but would very much recommend for the more versatile. Enjoyed going onto the HMS Vampire though. The exhibits in the main museum was fantastic. A must see for Sydney locals and tourists alike.

When we bought tickets the staff member had a bit of a sassy tone telling us the museum closed in 45 minutes and the ships had “well and truly closed”. All useful information (that we already knew) just not passed on in a friendly or positive way.
We had little ones with us and 45 minutes can feel like an eternity some days. Having said that, the museum itself and the Lego exhibition was really well done and I could definitely spend a lot more time there on a future visit.

Great going on all the ships and submarine. The inside museum was good as well with the photographer of the year exhibition. Although if the exhibition wasn't there then there would be that much. I feel like there could be more in there about Australian naval history.

From old-time large sail ships to a modern naval destroyer, a submarine, and even a replica of Captain Cook's legendary ship, the Endeavour, there's an impressive collection of vessels to explore. The museum offers a captivating showcase of Australian maritime history, with knowledgeable staff available to provide information and assistance.
It's a perfect day out for families with kids, as well as for those who are young at heart. Even if you're not particularly interested in ships, you'll still learn something new and fascinating during your visit. The museum itself is worth exploring, with exhibits featuring nautical artifacts, art exploring the sea, and insights into marine conservation.
The museum boasts two floors of amazing displays, including old maps, navigating equipment, exciting stories, and captivating artifacts. Special exhibits, like the National Geographic Wildlife Photographer of the Year, are also on display and are sure to capture the imagination of kids. The location is convenient, just across the walking bridge from many restaurants and shops at Darling Harbour, making it a perfect day out with plenty of dining options.
Keep in mind that wait times may be longer on weekends, school holidays, or public holidays, but the experience is well worth the price of admission. With five ships to explore and a wealth of exhibits to discover, it's a must-visit for anyone interested in maritime history and culture. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for an enriching outing!

Caught ferry from Circular Quay. Enjoyed the museum. It was great being able to board a submarine and the other vessels that are moored there. Well done for preserving parts of our history and the volunteers that are working there, are both knowledgeable, and very pleasant.

The outdoor displays of real military marine vessels makes this museum stand out. The ships appear to be in great condition and there is knowledge staff onboard each vessel to offer visitors information and answer questions you may have.
I also liked looking at related marine exhibits inside. While I was there, there was a marine photography display and it had some amazing National Geographic level photos. Just amazing. I only wish I could take a photo as good as they have.
Plan to spend at least one hour here. Note if you are tall or suffer from confined spaces then going into the submarine may not be such a good idea. It is cramped inside and if you are taller than 5 ft 6 then you will likely hit your head on something.
If you like my reviews, photos or videos then climb on board and batten down the like hatch and sail off for a great voyage.

Wonderful experience. It was 6 of us: 3 kids of 3-6 yo and 3 adults of both genders. And everyone has learnt something interesting either while was exploring the real submarine and military warship, or at the exhibition part, pretty informative and interactive.

Excellent venue on a rainy day! Wonderful exhibits of Alick Tipoti's art and stories of immigrants. Quite an amazing experience to explore the ships outside. Don't be shy to ask volunteers about history of each ship, they're happy to share their knowledge and fun facts.. Museum has a lot to offer, and I can't wait to visit again soon.

Superb Maritime Museum that allows you to explore an entire Navy vessel, a submarine and even an entire replica of Captain Cooks legendary ship called the Endeavour.
Even if you don't have much interest in ships, you'll definitely learn something new about them. I highly recommend a visit.
The included museum is interesting as well and definitely worth a visit as well.

We had very nice time here, it is a great immersive experience for us weather it’s the HMAS Onslow or the vampire, they both bringing us fabulous memories. The service was good and they will give you a map for all the ships, all the volunteers on deck was quite knowledgeable, they will show you the details with historical background. I would recommend this museum to you, and it’s a great place for family trip with kids as well.

Darling Harbour has so much to offer at anytime. The Australian National Maritime Museum defiantly a great afternoon to spend with the family, from old war ships, to a submarine to explore or the old world Viking ship to board & play dress up. Certainly a place we'll be back to on a regular visit.

Such a great experience to explore the ships from inside! Kids loved it very much😍
My personal favourite is underwater ship, the real ship that was in use and it has so many interesting things to see.
Good amenities for visiting with young kids.

A great place to spend a day with the family, or by yourself.
It is jam packed with information and in fun ways it has been presented.
I've been a few times, with years between my visits, and I always learn amazing facts.
The staff are always ready to help and explain, and share their own interpretation.
The location couldn't be better, easy to get there and move around the exhibits.
There is a Cafe with lots of tasty treats.
Something for everyone.
The entry price is a bargain for what you receive.

Hands down one of the best museums I've ever visited! The boat ride through Sydney harbour alone was worth the ticket price. Seeing the boats and hearing all the great information from the volunteers made the visit truly epic. I sincerely recommend paying it a visit!

Our family ended our holiday cruise vacation and needed to spend the day occupying ourselves until our nighttime flight home. I found the National Maritime Museum was only about a 10 minute drive from the cruise terminal and we literally spent the entire day here. It is an absolutely terrific museum with beautiful indoor exhibits and displays, accompanied by a stunning array of real vessels—ships, even a submarine, which were all available to board and tour! We homeschool our kids and our travels are an extension of their education and they (11 & 14) both really enjoyed this place, as did all of the adults. A highlight to top off this amazing place are the knowledgeable and friendly volunteer staff that are onsite to teach you and answer questions about the ships and vessels. This is a remarkable and memorable museum—don’t miss it!

We had an extraordinary experience there. The day that we visited the museum was a public holiday and we had been waiting 30 min to get to the submarine. It was worthy to wait that long queue. Staff and volunteers are friendly and they were passionate about their job. They knew all the stuff about the vessel that they were representing, if you want to know more just ask the crew.

I would like to thank the kind, responsible and professional staffs here. When my mobile phone unfortunately and desperately fell into a small bottomless gap in the submarine, they tried to get beneath the dusty deck and miraculously found it. They are heroes. The ship exhibitions here are indeed amazing, but keep your phone in your pocket, especially in the submarine!

Great for the boys (6 and 3yrs). Wait for the submarine was long so we skipped it - too hard to wait in line so long with little kids. But otherwise all good. Buy a ticket online to save the entry queue. We went during the Summer school holidays so water play area was great. So was the Octopus Garden fun darkened area inside - the boys had fun chasing light-show crabs in the game they had set up, and jumping on the mountain of pebble-looking floor cushions. They loved checking out the open ships.

There were enough things to experience for hours. However, it will be more interesting to people who care about the history and development of maritime technology. You are not going to see high-tech stuff from the navy nor the very old systems of Aboriginal people.
Side note: There was a considerable wait time to see the submarine but the time spent in the submarine was very short.

Super well done and really really cool ships. The docents there are super knowledgeable and have really great info. I took the tour of the battle ship it was about an hour but it was really fun to learn about the ships history!
The Hornsby Water Clock, a distinct historical landmark located in the center of a popular shopping complex, operates solely on the force of water. Although its hands were not functioning at the time, it remains a remarkable work of art and attraction for shoppers and diners seeking diverse cuisine options from around the world such as Malaysian, Chinese, and Mexican dishes. The clock's unique design makes it stand out among other landmarks in the area.
What an amazing piece of art and engineering work created by Victor Cusak. Very rarely seen in public absolutely fascinating, a lot to learn from this sculpture! Recommend to everyone who comes to Hornsby ❤️❤️❤️

The Hornsby Water Clock, titled Man, Time and the Environment is a piece of kinetic sculpture, a decorative fountain and a functional clock in the Florence Street pedestrian mall in Hornsby. The sculpture is approximately 8 metres (26 ft) tall and weighs 20 tonnes (22 short tons). Located right in front of Westfield Hornsby.

The concept of the fountain is amazing. The downside of fountain is that it was allowed to fall into disrepair. Hornsby Council has promised to repair it to full working function. We will see.

It will be good to see it in FULL working order. Someone turns off the water when it's a windy day. So that stops the clock from working. Just let the water going.

Unique water clock in Hornsby shopping complex, huge clock runs with force of water, unfortunately the hands of the clock were not working. However it's a good place for shopping and dinning out with availability of cuisine from around the world, Malaysian, Chinese, Maxican and many others.

Really unique piece of art in this area. It is right in the centre of the shopping mall. Can you find at what time the pic was taken from the clock?
Westfield Hornsby is a large and sprawling shopping mall with plenty of shops and services to keep kids entertained. There's also a food court and several indoor/outdoor play areas, making it the perfect place to take the kids during your shopping spree.
Nice shopping mall which serves daily needs as well as a place to hangout. There are good cafes for meet and greet. Woolworths, coles, aldi are available under one roof. For apple fan boys there is an apple store. Target, david jones available. Big W, myre missing. Food court could be better.

This shopping centre has it all from deli to cafes, Woolies, Aldi and Coles, restaurants, pharmacies and fashion stores... And DAISO is coming soon!!! That really completes the shopping centre along with TK Max on this part of northen Sydney.
What is sad to see is as some shops close down (after effects of COVID-19?) more hair and nail salons are opening....
Another thing I don't like about this place is greed. Every possible square inch of what should be an open space for walking is rented out to businesses, and at times this practice look like it can cause some serious safety issues if and when a large number of people have to evacuate in case of emergency.
Digital signs are placed in what seems to be random inconvenient locations blocking the pathways.
When a new shop is under construction, the boarded up walls stick out so much causing the walk path to be really cramped. The management should be leaving plenty of space for two carts and their companions to pass comfortably at any given time for a pleasant shopping experience!

Came here during the long weekend holidays and found there to be plenty of parking. The entry driveway/ramp into the place is a bit tight though if you’re driving a long vehicle like a dodge ram.
Within the Westfields, you’ll find plenty of the common retail shops you expect of a Westfields.
In terms of sizing, it’s not the largest one. However it is located very close to the train station so getting here via public transport is easier than other places.

Plenty of public conveniences.

It has all the major stores that you could want or looking for. Quite a broad variety of outlets and not a bad food court either. It is a bit of a maze and you'll find that part of the centre is also built underground, which is synonymous with shopping centres in Asia.
It'll give your step count a good work out. 😊😊

My experience at Westfield Hornsby was average. The shopping center offers a variety of stores, but the overall atmosphere felt somewhat crowded, and navigating through the layout wasn't as seamless as I'd hoped. Additionally, parking was a bit of a challenge. While it's a decent option for shopping, it falls short in terms of convenience and a more relaxed shopping environment.

Love this shopping mall. It has so many interesting shops to visit. We hired the push car to push our 4 years old. It was a very reasonable price of $5/hour. He felt happy and I could walk to many places with my friends. Without this push car, we wouldn't be able to visit many shops. The only not so positive thing about this push car is the fact it's not allowed on the escalator, which is fine due to accident risk.
It's so close to the train station too so I could go on and venture with our 4 years old and it wasn't too much for him to walk with me.
The game area on the top floor was amazing. The equipment was new and clean. I love arcade, it reminds me of my childhood.
One of my favourite things about this mall is the bookcafe and an open library. We stopped for a bit to read book, and I thought it was such a nice experience.
Overall, I think this shopping mall is a great place for individuals or families to visit. Take the train and you can avoid parking. There are many shops on the way from the train station to the mall too.

It is very close to my home so it feels like a part of home. We have shops changes every year, but seems the new opened shops are more trendy and more fit into the local life style. It is where everyone go to during the weekend and since it is the biggest one in Upper North Shore, people in surrounding suburbs are also attracted to it.
I am very happy we finally have Daiso and restaurants like Betty's Burger come in to boost the energy of the community. Can't wait to see what lies in the future of this very loved centre. The area is rapidly growing and become very popular among young families as well as seniors who are looking for a simple life style.

I went into Hornsby Westfield Ladies Toilet that was on the Food Court Level. It was an absolute disgrace! The areas were dirty with boxes of food half eaten left on the floor, Toilet Paper left on floor & everything looked grotty!! Instead of the Cleaners having a good chat as I have often noticed, it might be better if they did some work. If there are not enough people to keep the place clean, employ some more. I then went downstairs to Kmart. The floor was dirty, black marks , grot & fluff from the Winter Garments was found. The Store needs more Staff, & they need to look more presentable. A Kmart Shirt with a Name Badge would be nice & hair & Beards in particular should be neatly groomed. We might live "Like it doesn't really matter,"in certain instances these days but actually it really does!! The lovely Lady at the front door of the Store who checks Bags is always nice & looks very neat & well groomed. She appears to be of Asian appearance, black hair & goes to the trouble if wearing Makeup. The Manager needs to engage with the Staff & do a tidy up all the way around. Do hope that things improve. Regards.

Well, it does take a little getting used to. For example, about 3 weeks ago I purchased a mobile phone case, and I took 3 attempts of circular navigating to find my way out of the shopping centre. You can regard me in any way you like. But the confusion lies in the fact that the Westfield Centre is divided into 2 main sections, and these are separated by a main thoroughfare ( or street ) below. Actually the same problem happened to me about a year ago, in the same place. I am not exactly a regular at Hornsby, but I enjoy going there for a change from the city centre. When I did get lost in the centre it was very embarrassing and I was wishing like hell no one would come up to me and ask me if I was okay. Actually, I was fuming because I felt that I had just been ripped off for the purchase of the mobile phone case. Well enjoy shopping people and I will try and abstain. Sincerely, Thomas Stevens.

Great place for kids to play.
However, some parents keep their shoes on, and the floor is getting dirty.
Also, today someone brought-in their shopping trolley creating an unnecessary hazard to the children.
My suggestion is that a staff member needs to be at the play area to keep an eye on the parents at all times.

The SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is a large and impressive aquatic attraction with regular tanks and pools, as well as large tanks with glass bottoms that allows patrons to observe Australia's freshwater and marine aquatic environments.
Very cool attraction for small nd big kids at heart. Lots of great exhibits and animals. Amazing how much was on offer to see. Not recommended. It was way too busy for the space they have available, and filled with screaming kids and strollers. The facilities are really rough and ready. I understand you’re in the middle of the city, but for a world class city like Sydney, which is also a maritime city, we expected something more permanent and better looking. The dugong ramp area was extremely loud. We saw kids and adults covering their ears because of how loud it was with the speakers at full blast. Horrible. The area for the penguins was filthy, with poop on the floors and the glass. The men’s bathroom near cafeteria did not soap. The cafeteria was filled with birds.
In terms of exhibitions, the areas with the tunnel were pretty amazing, as well as the ones with jellyfish.
I would not come back.

While the other reviews were complaining about the number of children, remember this is an attraction for families. We (no children) had an amazing time walking through the aquarium! The way it is set up, made it very easy to navigate walking through the aquarium. We got there at 10, when it opened and was very busy, but we were still able to see everything and enjoyed our time. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable experience with several attractions to see. Only downfall is there is no nearby parking without paying significant amount of money and was overcrowded so this meant waiting for others to move before we could see anything. There was also several fish that were dead in the tanks which wasn't pleasant to see. Shame they also close quite early where as they used to be open late - would be good to experience it later at night and also allow the opportunity for quieter periods for people to look through.

Amazing how many aquariums they can fit into the space they have. I came here after going to the Sea Life in Sunshine Coast - enjoyed that one so much I got an annual pass. The penguin boat ride and penguin habitat were fantastic. Thought the water of the larger tanks with the sting rays, sharks and sea turtles were mirky compared with the crystal clear tanks in Queensland. Sea Life Sydney need to lift their game and clean the tanks! I visited the aquarium many years ago when it first opened and it had less tanks but was a lot better back then. Maybe the staff in Sydney can all go visit the Sea Life in Sunshine Coast and learn how to be great again✨😉

The penguin area is especially satisfying! We were able to see penguins up close on a small boat. There is such an attraction at the aquarium! ? I was very excited. However, it was cold🐧❄️
There were large objects in the aquarium, and I enjoyed the attraction, which was different from Japan!
There are places where you can take photos at the beginning, and you can download the photos for free. That's amazing too.
There was also a wide variety of souvenirs. I bought tickets online in advance, but I didn't think they were that expensive. I'm very satisfied🐟

When you arrive at a busy time, the line up you see first is actually for those who have already bought tickets and are waiting to enter SEA life. To buy tickets, you'll have to walk a bit further until you see the ticketing machines around the corner of the massive building. This is not clearly indicated and rather confusing.
We bought tickets for SEA life only, but you can buy combination tickets that allow you to visit other attractions like Madam Tussaud and Wild Life that are at the same location but separated from SEA life.
After lining up for about 10 minutes we were able to enter SEA life.
From the way the corridors and displays are designed, it felt they did their best to fit as much and a practical as possible in a limited space. It's pretty narrow and on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was tough sometimes to navigate through people and prams at the same time.
Overall, it's an amusing place to be on a rainy day with small kids. However, we don't recommend it if your aim is to learn all about Australia's sea life. There is relatively little explanation on what you're looking at in the aquaria. Also, don't expect a lot of interactive things to do.
We spent about two hours walking at a fairly low pace before reaching the exit. But do expect that about 70 percent is display of actual sea life and 30 percent is just corridors or elevated walkways.

Great place to visit and educate people. Gets crowded, and some areas seem to lack some good air flow. Great walk through tunnel with clear sides and overhead viewing of the sea creatures. Great built-in features at some sections, especially for those with kid's and adult's with flexibility. Take your time at each section as it is one way and exits through the gift shop which I find over priced.

Lots of fun, great use of space, lots to see :) I really enjoyed the short Penguin boat ride! (It’s pretty cold in there to sit the penguins but you’re only in there for a few minutes)
I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t more signs/information on the sea creatures that I could read. They had monitors which cycled through profiles of the creatures but not as descriptive and interesting facts filled as it used to be.

A nice aquarium with a cool selection of marine life. In comparison to the one in Singapore, this wasn't that good, but the addition of the penguin ride makes this pretty cool.
We took just a regular tour but it does have other behind the scenes (paid) tours which I'm sure will add to the experience.

If you pass in Sydney you must see it, it's beautiful: there are hundreds of fish and other marine animals that will leave you and your kids fascinated.
There are also a couple of underwater tunnels where you can walk and admire sharks, dugongs and lots of fish, we absolutely loved them!
The ticket is a bit expensive: 51 dollars for adults and around 35 for kids, but it is worth it.
If you're planning to visit it I suggest you to plan to stay there at least 1 hour and 30 minutes / 2 hours, you won't regret it.

This was a pretty small to average-sized aquarium, my favourite part was the dark UV light area and the tunnel with the sharks. But just my personal opinion, I do not know this area of expertise, but the tanks looked a little small for the fish. But overall it was a pretty fun experience. I loved the interior design of the place as well, it was very well done, considering the space constraints. There were a lot of interactive activities as well, which I enjoyed. A good place to visit if you're a tourist or just a marine life enthusiast.

We went as a family to see all these wonderful creatures almost in their own habitat. Highlights for us were the Penguins as our youngest daughter has a bit of an obsession with these beautiful creatures and of course the Grey nurse sharks. Great place, had specials on when we went so tickets were basically half price. Whole family really enjoyed it.
The Queen Victoria Building is an amazing heritage building in Sydney that contains a variety of stores, making it a great place to shop. The building is in a Romanesque style and was designed by architect George McRae. The mall has undergone restoration and is now open to the public. It has many features that make shopping there an enjoyable experience, including intricate tiling, facades, metalwork, stained-glass windows and its amazing grand staircase.
I Miss Coming Back Here. Lovely Old Building , Gorgeous Shops, Vintage Shops. There Are So Many Restaurants And Souvenirs Around. Please Do Try The Coffeshop For Cakes And Bakery. They Are Tremendous. We Also Love The Vibes Here.

Another beautiful Sydney gem. Entering this building is like stepping back in time. There are plenty of high end shops in the main areas (and the usual shops in the basement). However it’s worth exploring what’s in the higher levels

One of the old buildings in the city that is very beautiful. Think they had plans for taking it down years back. Someone decided to make it into a shopping mall and made a beautiful work.
Have a coffee and enjoy the view.
Last time they had put up some UGLY commercials that were so dominating - shame on you for doing that to a place this elegant.

Beautiful building, must go and have a look inside, a lot of lovely and specialised shops in the higher levels and such beauty. I was surprised eight the basement level that Interconnect to the town hall station and so many more shops downstairs too! The building is really clean and has a really nice feeling, there are a couple of tea room inside and I’m sure it would be an amazing place to have afternoon tea !

This place is worth the visit just to see the architecture of buildings in years gone by.
Lots of shops, mostly high end, with a huge array of eateries.
This mall is in an older building and is beautifully set up. We went there in November and the big Christmas tree was already there. Interesting shops and nice restaurants. We stopped at one for lunch and were impressed with the food and service. Would recommend a visit if you are in sydney for more than a couple of days

An incredibly beautiful building that has been turned into a shopping centre. The shops have been sympathetically merged with the old architecture.
There are toilets and places to eat. There is also a parents room, which includes a microwave for heating food.
The building is wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with a disability on some of the floors.
There is free wi-fi, which ran at a reasonable speed.
There are also a few seating areas in the shopping areas, though these were not very clean.

The beautiful exterior and interior decoration make it possible to shopping, but it also seems meaningful for a simple visit.
The floor was decorated with small tiles and the windows were nicely decorated with stained glass.
The large clock tower in the center was very impressive and unique.

One of my favourite places to wander when I have a few free minutes. Plenty of choice for coffees, a quick or a slow meal and great window shopping. The tree in the centre at Christmas always looks amazing. During the day, the stained glass windows allow beautiful light in the centre. Love the old world class of the building, wonderfully grand. A grand piano on level 1 or 2 is available for those with skill to entertain the passersby.

Beautiful multilevel building with a nice variety of stores and facilities - including some upmarket brand stores, many health and beauty stores, gift shops, and cafes. Below street level links you to Town Hall train station, The Galleries Victoria building, Westfield and other street level exits. There are nice staircases, elevators, escalators, and toilets. Often a lovely bit of art being showcased in the middle of the building. Nice for a walk-through instead of walking along the streets too.

Beautiful old building. Renovated but still retains its original charm and character. Fantastic array of shops including Hobbyco, cafes and restaurants. Underground walkway to Town Hall station.

It is a very spectacular and lovely building with a sense of history. Once inside, there are several cafes and stores.
There is a piano on the second floor, and anyone can play it freely. However, some of the keys are broken and out of tune, so they may need to be repaired or tuned. The sound is not good. I think that one day a very good pianist will appear, so it might be better to repair it before Christmas. I am sure that further customers will come here to hear that pianist play.
It was a very classy and wonderful place. It was a very pleasant place to shop, enjoy the cafes, and walk around!

The Queen Victoria Building is a true gem of historical architecture! It's beautifully preserved and still retains its original charm. The mall is massive and bustling. Instead of the usual chain stores on the ground floor, I recommend taking the time to explore the unique and characterful boutiques on the upper floors. We stumbled upon a handmade perfume shop – truly one-of-a-kind. It's a fantastic place to discover hidden gems away from the mainstream shops.

A iconic place in Sydney’s CBD with superb architecture. I don’t think you’ve truly been to Sydney until you’ve visited QVB. So easy to get to with Town Hall station directly joined to it below ground and also the Light Rail station directly in front on George Street. The range of beautiful shops and cafes make for a wonderful visit but I really just love admiring the architecture and overall beauty of the building. Really one of my favourite places to visit in Sydney.

Sydney Tower Eye is an observation tower with a 360 degree view of the city. It's one of the tallest towers in Australia, and offers unique experiences like a rotating restaurant and outdoor viewing platform.
The best time to visit Sydney Tower Eye is on a sunny day. Make sure you check the weather on the day you plan to book your visit. Walk-ins are also accepted. I went in the middle of February at 11:00 noon and the place isn't crowded at all. You'll get to see Sydney's booming skyscrapers in all it's splendour. It's a pity though that the view of the Sydney Opera House has been 75% blocked by tall buildings. Allot 30 minutes to one hour to spend to appreciate the view of Sydney and have ample time to snap some photos.

We made a reservation in the morning and were lucky to go on a sunny day in November. Nice views of the city although the opera house angle from the tower is not the greatest.
Experience was amazing! obviously stunning views, pristine weather and just a good all round vibe. No crowd control so it’s overcrowded at the observatory deck during the last entry (6pm).
No space at the glass window during sunset, air was humid, and there are purple lights that reflects on the glass👎 not pretty for pictures.

It is the tower that is in the center, you can have a panoramic view of the entire city and enjoy its view. The only thing that some buildings covered Opera house, great crime. but everything else you can enjoy. We pay 11 dollars with the school but normal costs 18 dollars. If you like height and see the view of the city I recommend it.

This place always amazes me. Every time I visit here I am thrilled. The Observation deck allows 360 deg views of Sydney. You can even watch a building burn down in the CBD(See photo)! But it is pretty ordinary in furnishings. There are not too many places to sit. You can get light refreshments but they are very light.
However, Bar83 is a totally different story. Sit and enjoy cocktails, spirits and wines with superb finger food. The best part is that it is not expensive to have a great drink 1067 ft up as the sun sets over the city. Best experience!

I haven't been here for many years now, but today it was still just as lovely as it was back in 2010! The views out to where my Grandparents and Mum lived many year's ago in Vaucluse, to the beautiful Sydney Harbor Bridge, and all around Sydney Central and further out, was indeed a nice place to bring back some lovely memories. I suggest that all go and see it!
An extra bonus was the young staff who were so very helpful and polite. Thank you 😊

This is the tallest viewing point in Sydney, which has a 360-degree view of the city. The view from here is spectacular where we can see most of the important landmarks of Sydney. They also provide sky walk with extra pay, a bit of an adventure walk, which can be purchased on-site. The structure is beautiful, first few floors are Westfield mall. It can be a one-time experience. Buying tickets combining other attractions like Sea Life, Wild life and Madame Tussauds would be better with which we can avail great discount.

It was a bit busy on Thursday
Made it relatively difficult to capture the 360⁰ view
However, if you are coming for the first time, it will definitely give you a new scope of Sydney CBD.
Highly recommended if you have never been here.

I am giving it a 2 star because the staff were very helpful. I would have given it a 1 star or lower. It is very difficult to find the entry it almost like the shopping center is trying to hide it, we had to ask the information desk. It is on the fifth floor and not obvious to find down a side corridor.
It is very expensive for what it is, there is no family pass either. They trying to make it more like a ride than it really is, it is a maze to get to the lift. We spent 10 minutes and it cost us $100+ for two adults and a child just for the observation deck.
When you get back down to exit, you have to walk through a tower shop maze to leave.
It isn’t really worth it. I hope another building opens up their top floor to observation and offers some competition. The staff are great, very helpful, but they have to be else you would get lost quickly.
It is a shame really that this is a ripoff for tourists coming to Australia.

A nice place to see the city of Sydney from above. We walked in and bought our tickets without any issues on a Monday early afternoon.

It was good, the view is gorgeous no doubt about it.
The place is small. I've been in the one in Melbourne and it's much better, but I can't complain. I didn't take any package, just the normal ticket with some pictures included, which by the way were awful, bad illumination and the Photoshop scenarios were terrible. I wouldn't pay for any of it. You get the chance to download them.
Anyhow, I went around 6pm and stayed until sunset (which was my goal).

It was nice to see Sydney in bird’s eye view. You get a much better picture of this cosmopolitan and green city. We chose a late afternoon visit to see the sunset. It was worthwhile. The sunset that day was lovely. The biggest let-down was the windows - they’re seriously way too dirty. It was hard to get a good photo without taking in the marks on the window (see my photo). For a business that is based on giving a good city view, cleanliness of the windows should be top priority. Otherwise, the entrance was good, wait time wasn’t long. Overall, it’s a pleasant thing to do while visiting Sydney.

We shared a few drinks up here before dinner. Great views, if you can visit at dusk it's even better. There's a nice vibe and smart surroundings. Not cheap but not as expensive as you might think.

It was a bit difficult to find our way to the tower on a Sunday when almost nothing in the shopping center wasn’t working. The viewing deck was kind of dirty.

Pretty cool view of the city! Little cafe up the top of you need a quick snack or a souvenir. The lifts up and down are speedy but there can be a line up as they only hold a smaller number of people. The Free binoculars provided are a bit of fun too. They’re fixed in place but the different height are a nice touch.

Great staff , managing crowd. Beautiful views of Harbour City 💗 from the tower.
A few downside: when we visited 7.30pm, it was too crowded, and we had to wait to get a spot to take a picture. Glass was not clean, so pictures don't really do justice to the beautiful view from the tower.

A great experience, what a view! The free binoculars are a nice touch, I’ve been to other viewing towers in other countries and so many charge extra for those. Entry price was reasonable when also purchased alongside a ticket to the aquarium. I went at 10:30am on a Sunday and there was no queue.

Fantastic bird's eye view of the whole city. I came at lunchtime on a weekday so it was not too busy. Very impressed by the clean windows so that when you take photos, they come out super clear. There are telescopes so you can get a magnified view of landmarks of interest. Having lived in Sydney all my life, it was interesting to see all the new buildings compared with the last time I came up here over 20 years ago. Before, it was very easy to find the Harbour bridge and Sydney Opera house. Now you have to look between the buildings but at least you can still see them! Good that there was air con as it was very hot outside that day. I've been to a lot of towers around the world and this one definitely deserves 5 stars!

Today St Mary’s Cathedral is one of Australia’s most beautiful and significant buildings but it did not happen overnight. The Cathedral evolved through a long and patient timeline following a fire which destroyed the first St Mary’s Cathedral in 1865.
It took close to 100 years to finally complete St Marys with the first stage constructed between 1866 and 1900 and stage two between 1912 and 1928

Pretty scenic and serene cathedral. The architecture is beautiful, with many of the embellishments you'd come to expect from a place of worship in a major Western city.

Are you Catholic? Well, it doesn't matter anyway because this cathedral is absolutely stunning and can be appreciated by everyone.
Everything from the stained glass windows to the various prayer stations it just is super extravagant. I wished I would have been able to hear the organ because it is an absolute sight to see.
This is totally worth visiting if you're in the city and is not far off from the Opera House. Walk through the botanical gardens to get there from the Opera House and you'll treat yourself even more.

Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Sydney, St Mary's Cathedral emerged as a haven of peace and serenity. The grandeur of its Gothic architecture took my breath away. The intricate sandstone facade, adorned with spires reaching towards the sky, instantly transported me to a bygone era.
Stepping inside, I was enveloped by a sense of awe. The soaring ceilings, bathed in the warm glow of stained glass windows, cast a kaleidoscope of colors onto the polished stone floor. The air hummed with a quiet reverence, a stark contrast to the urban cacophony outside.
As I wandered through the cathedral, I was struck by the intricate details - the delicate carvings, the life-sized statues of saints, and the grand altar. Each element whispered stories of faith, devotion, and artistry. I found myself drawn to a quiet corner, where I sat for a while, simply soaking in the atmosphere.
While I'm not Catholic myself, St Mary's Cathedral offered a unique space for reflection and introspection. It transcended religious affiliation, serving as a testament to the power of human devotion and the beauty of artistic expression. Whether you're a visitor seeking cultural immersion or a local yearning for a moment of solace, St Mary's Cathedral is a place that will leave a lasting impression.

Very impressive main church beside Hyde park. The spires can be seen from afar and the interior was beautiful. Too bad there were tourists coming in their shorts and slippers.

Visiting St. Mary's Cathedral was an absolutely enchanting experience. The cathedral exudes a sense of history and grandeur that's truly captivating. Among the many remarkable features, the stained glass windows stood out as the highlight of my visit.
The stained glass windows in St. Mary's Cathedral is nothing short of breathtaking. They tell intricate stories through vibrant colors and beautifully crafted scenes, and they fill the interior with a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of light. Each window felt like a work of art, a testament to the skill and dedication of the artists who created them.
The experience of being surrounded by such divine illumination and intricate artistry was truly awe-inspiring. It's no wonder that St. Mary's Cathedral is considered a treasure trove of beauty and history. If you ever find yourself in Sydney, I highly recommend a visit to this magnificent place. It's a journey into both the spiritual and artistic heritage of the city.

The Manly ferry leaves from Wharf 3. Entry and exit to the wharf to board is pretty organised, queues form to swipe through Opal gates a few minutes prior to arrival. There is also some seating available for elderly or people with mobility issues.

The ferry to Manly was one of the nicest boat rides I have done. Magnificent views and room to walk around on the front and back of boat. Even though the ferry itself was full of passengers, most were sitting inside, leaving the beautiful view for just me and one or two other to enjoy from the back of the boat. The trip took about half an hour, but I wouldn’t have minded if it took twice as long.

Thursday 16th November 2023 at 6:35pm. An extremely rude staff member (male, tall with a mohawk haircut) refused to let passengers into the area with seating (until he "finished what he was doing", by which time another ferry had arrived).
This staff attitude is rife amongst the staff - no customer centric approach. Little wonder the Manly Fast Ferry continues to pick up passengers who prefer the service.

Circular Quay is a bustling and historic area situated in Sydney, New South Wales. It boasts of being an internationally recognized passenger shipping port, public square, heritage site and transportation hub. Located near the iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it has become a popular tourism precinct for both locals and visitors alike.
The Art Gallery of New South Wales, established in 1897, is a prominent public exhibition located in Sydney, Australia. Housed in a classical-style building founded in 1871, this gallery showcases contemporary, modern and indigenous art collections. The interior is spacious and features a diverse range of Australian artwork. With its free admission to the general display area, visitors can explore various projects and exhibitions encompassing Australian, European and Asian art styles.
An outstanding gallery, truly the mainstay of Sydney’s art scene. The remodelling of their classic rooms is a must see once fully reopened, and the Archibald always attracts significant talent and some truly breathtaking portraits.
Also don’t sleep on the free exhibits downstairs - oftentimes there are some understated and lesser-known (read: not mainstream enough for the average/passive consumers of art) artists displaying real killer stuff.

Stunning buildings inside and outside, masterfully curated collections that span many genres and cultures. Aboriginal art in North Gallery among very best contemporary art I've seen anywhere. Spent 6 hours there today and it wasn't enough. Superb, free guided tours. Congratulations to everyone involved in putting this together. I doubt there is a better, more engaging and more beautifully displayed public collection of art anywhere in the world today.

Very beautiful art gallery with a range of art types ans styles to admire. The new building has a new room called The Tank which is very dark but necessary to enjoy the performance videos. I love looking at the older part of the museum and my favourite room was the photography room. lots of unique stories to experience. It really opens your mind.

One of my favourite places in Sydney. After a couple of delays, I finally saw the Louise Bourgeois “Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day?” exhibit. A must-see exhibit! The Day: every single piece spoke to me on some level that I totally was not prepared to feel. The Night: so-called anchor pieces from The Day were integral parts of this darker side of the exhibit. The Night hit me in a very different way though also emotionally. What an incredible exhibit.
Art Gallery of NSW has so many events and exhibits happening all the time, and many are free so everyone can experience and enjoy artworks. The grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful and well maintained. The Gallery also is a wonderful place to sit and look and absorb alone or with your peeps. There are a couple of choices inside and nearby to have a bite to eat and drink, and I’ve seen some people and school children eating their morning/afternoon tea outside near the most incredible giant sculptures. A phenomenal place for all ages!

Love coming here for the special exhibits. The permanent exhibits quite good too- best place to spend the day if you are bored , so much to see and there's food here too which ain't too badly priced. Clean, well maintained, air conditioned and spacious. Currently building a new section so I can't wait to see it when it's done!

Accessible for the public, good places for anyone who wants to know about history and art. You may get some inspiration and insight from it. They got two buildings and an excessive exhibition with a vast range of themes. Spent 3-4 hours if you only select a few artworks to have a detailed look at. The information is detailed about each artwork, the artist, and the history or possible meanings behind the creation. Got cafes inside each building, which allow you to get refreshments and rest yourself. Seats are available around the whole gallery, which is nice. Impressed by galleries related to Aboriginal people and LGBT+, one with artworks created by high school students during Covid-19. I went when Wednesday since they will have longed opening hours.

I was overwhelmed with the amount of art. I went to the South building. I couldn't find the North building. I was pleasantly happy to have free entry and free cloaking. There were multiple galleries with different types/themes of art. My favorite was the aboriginal and art by LGBTQ+ artists. I was not prepared with the amount of time necessary to view all of the museum. I advise at least 2 - 3 hours. Actually, you could go every day for an hour for several weeks to truly appreciate the art.

A beautiful addition to the art gallery, entry is free of charge, and the gallery is very tastefully laid out. There are plenty of food options, and there are public toilets on site.
The artwork is of varying quality but is all quite unique and interesting. Accessibility is very good with elevators available and wide dooways. There are staff on hand to help and to answer questions. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved my visit here! Highly recommend checking out the tank if you get the chance. I saw the Louise Bourgeois exhibition there and it was incredible! They really captured the morbid passion of her work in the space. I also really appreciate the amount of cafes, bathrooms, and gift shops. And such a variety of work on display! Could easily spend a whole day exploring :)

If you just want to visit one museum in Sydney you should pick this one. There’s a large and diverse collection to be found from different eras. There are some big pieces that are really worth looking at. The building itself is also great. You walk easily into the botanical garden next to the museum. Had a great afternoon even that the weather wasn’t great.
Admission is free except from the special collection.

If you love art, the art gallery is a must visit. Much of the gallery is free to access, with only special exhibitions requiring a paid ticket. The free section is separated into different themes and eras, and is a great showcase with an emphasis on Australian artists across more than one floor. The works of art include paintings, sculptures and other objects, photographs and film.
There's also a couple of sit down food restaurants/cafes, a gift shop, and great restroom as well as hand sanitising facilities. Staff are also friendly and helpful.

The Art Gallery's new installations in their North building are phenomenal and definitely not something to sleep on. All floors had intriguing and beautiful art pieces, so I highly recommend you try and see everything the building had to offer. I recommend making an effort to view "The Tank" as it was incredibly breathtaking and am outstanding experience.
The gift shop near the entrance is also a wonder as it has wonderful merchandise of some of my favourite art pieces. Staff members were all also incredibly nice and accommodating.

I recently photographed a wonderful wedding at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and it was awesome.
We were able to walk through the art gallery after hours and do some wedding photos of the couple. It was closed to the public so we had the place to ourselves which was great.
The wedding reception took place in the restaurant which was modern and sophisticated. Overall it was a wonderful wedding and a great experience.

I visited the Art Gallery of New South Wales recently, and it was an outstanding experience. One of the highlights was the free entry, which made it accessible to everyone. What impressed me even more was the absence of long queues during my visit, allowing me to explore the gallery without any hassle.
Inside, I found a treasure trove of historical paintings and sculptures. The collection was truly remarkable, featuring works that spanned various artistic movements and time periods. It was a journey through art history, from classic masterpieces to contemporary creations.
The diversity of the artworks on display made this gallery a very interesting place to visit. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a culturally enriching experience, the Art Gallery of New South Wales has something for everyone. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sydney, as it offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of art, and the fact that it's free is a wonderful bonus.

It is worth planning a few hours for this place. Personally, I am very pleased with the visit. The atmosphere is wonderful and friendly, I was greeted at the door and given short instructions about current exhibitions.
There are many levels and the thematic range is diverse. That's why I'm convinced that everyone will find something interesting.
The new building/wing includes modern and interactive installations, which I liked the most.
I am adding this place to my favourites and looking forward to visit it again.

What a precious time (ideally hours) and an experience art lovers can have in this gorgeous gallery inside and out. A monumental beauty leads to a treasure trove of various art genres, from pre-classical to modern. I can’t have enough of this place where I saw the Kandinsky exhibition this time, plus an extra time to see the Art Express works, among others. I come here almost every half year or so. Maybe I should just set up a tent nearby for easy revisits.

Lovely experience, amazing art by Vasily Kandinsky and Louise Bourgeois. The gallery as a whole is a great space, love the new North building especially the tank. We try two of restaurants both nice friendly venues. Simple menu but reasonably priced, quick and efficient service. I have been to the gallery before and will go back in the future. I recommend buying your tickets before you go online if you can, you will avoid waiting and most likely get a good deal.

I'm in love with the new wing of the NSW Art Gallery. It's spacious and bright, with lovely views to the outdoors, exciting visiting exhibitions and a great gift shop.
I think you love it (me!) because it's beautiful to walk around in, or you hate it (heaps of other people) because it feels like it's a bit empty and doesn't have the 'super famous, classic' art. 🎨 Well, it's free to visit, so it's really no big deal if you go, decide it's not for you, and then leave.
If you're a tourist visiting Sydney, it's super easy to pop by on your way to the Royal Botanic Gardens or Mrs. Macquarie's Chair. It's very accessible and a nice opportunity to see Australian art.
The more 'classic' work is in the old building. Have a browse, have fun.

Went to the Art Gallery of NSW just to experience the gallery, which in my view was a fantastic gallery and beautiful artistic exhibition space. As it happened there was free entry to the Louise Bourjeois exhibition, a talented lady but mad as a box of frogs spring to mind, but then all great artists need a touch of madness to take us down a path less trodden.
She said "Set out with something to say and not with the vague desire to say something." But unfortunately or fortunately I wasn't in her world and therefore did not know what she was saying.
She also said "I Have Been to Hell and Back, And Let Me Tell You, It was Wonderful " which may give you an idea into her mental state.

Amazing gallery! I really enjoyed it! I did it as a solo day out and would really recommend it! The place is huge and has got such a vast collection of art from renaissance art to contemporary to Asian art, aboriginal art, it’s really got something for everyone! If you like to take in the art work and read all of the descriptions of the piece, I would recommend allowing yourself about 4-5 hours! Would definitely go again! The entrance to the gallery is free and there was no que! There were two exhibitions on that were paid entry and I saw the Kandinsky one which I believe was $35, very reasonable for such a large collection of Kandinskys works! But other than that completely free!

Amazing experience at the Louise Bourgeois - Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day

This bridge is super spectacular! Usually in have always looked at bridges as structures serving utilitarian purposes. however, this bridge does not only serve the purpose of transportation but also breaths a new life into this area. Visiting the Sydney Harbour Bridge was an absolutely unforgettable experience. I was truly captivated by the blend of grand engineering and scenic beauty this iconic structure offers. Here are a few standout reasons why:
1. Stunning Architecture: The design of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a brilliant feat of early 20th-century engineering, leaves you in awe. Its massive steel arch is both visually striking and a showcase of architectural ingenuity.
2. Breathtaking Views: Walking across the bridge, you're treated to some of the most picturesque views of Sydney, including the Opera House and the vast Sydney Harbour. It's a haven for photography enthusiasts and sightseers alike.
3. Historical Significance: Since its completion in 1932, the Sydney Harbour Bridge has not only been a critical component of Sydney's infrastructure but also a proud symbol of Australia's resilience during the Great Depression.
4. Accessibility and Experience: The bridge's pedestrian pathway allows you to immerse yourself in its scale and splendor. Whether you're walking, cycling, or climbing the bridge, each mode offers a unique perspective and experience.
5. An Engineering Marvel : Learning about the bridge's construction details from the Wikipedia page enhanced my appreciation for this landmark. Constructed over eight years with 53,000 tonnes of steel and the dedication of 1,400 workers, the bridge is a true marvel of engineering.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is not just a means of crossing the harbor; it's a profound experience that melds architectural brilliance with unparalleled views. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to witness a key piece of Sydney's heart and history!

Sydney Opera house, one of the iconic structure to visit in Sydney, is a must view attraction in Sydney, just admire its design and architecture.
From the Opera House you can get views of the harbour, the Harbour Bridge and of course the unique design of the Opera House itself. All these make Sydney a beautiful picture perfect city.
The inside view is spectacular. A must visit place. one can have great pics with Harbour Bridge and It makes a good landmark. Do visit at night once. Also the surrounding areas are beautiful well planned and one can spend full day visiting various hubs nearby

Great iconic location to visit! Beautiful architecture and amazing to know the history of how it was built. Guided tours are available on every day. Also hosts a great cafeteria downstairs - House Canteen.
Can sit by the opera house stairs and relax along with the view of harbour bridge. Easily accessible by Public transport and has public toilets available if needed.

It really shocked me. It is an international tourist attraction and is listed as the youngest world heritage. The large floor-to-ceiling windows inside are all designed with a slope, so there is no glass reflection when looking outside. It is great!

Its the most beautiful place i have been in recent times and its awesome to just look at it from the hotel having some kangaroo meat and a drink.
It is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece. Its iconic design and grandeur make it a cultural gem in any city. Inside, the acoustics are impeccable, offering a sublime auditory experience.
Attending a performance here is a transcendent journey into the world of music and theater. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking artistic excellence.

It probably makes no difference to give this place another five star review, but it's gonna happen!!!
This was the best guided tour I think I've ever been on. Our guide was perfectly enthusiastic, not over the top and explained things so well. The headphone system is brilliant and worked great. The first presentation/film was so well produced and entertaining.
I loved the entire thing. We got a moment in the symphony hall with the orchestra playing and it was so powerful. The whole venue is glorious. The architecture and story behind it is fascinating. Can't go wrong with this amazing opportunity.

The majestic Opera House. Doesn’t need a description.
Take a ferry from one of the suburbs and get to Circular Quay. That will get you better views of the Opera House. Also try to do the Ferry to Manly beach and you get beautiful views of Opera. Most vibrant place to visit while in Sydney. Must do!!!!

Fell in love with it. Must visit. What a wonderful place on the Sydney Harbor. The Sydney Opera House is the symbol of modern Australia. A World Heritage-listed masterpiece of “human creative genius,” it exists because a few brave people dared to think differently. Love those people. Must visit. View by sea at night is mesmerizing.

Only put in 5star for architectural purposes. Unfortunately much of the venue was barricaded off but it is a unique and beautiful building. Go to Sydney museum for full history as the architect was not invited to the opening. Great building which all Australians should be proud of.

What is there not to love about the Opera House. I attended the Australian Chamber Orchestra performance and set second row to the right. The performance was moving. I marveled at the opportunity to hear instruments from hundreds of years ago. A magical moment. You can feel the history and the artistry as you walk in. The views from the balcony are spectacular.

As a visitor to Sydney, it was thrilling to see the iconic Opera House, and to enter the building to enjoy a show was very exciting.
The vibe around and in the historical building adds to the excitement.
Restaurants and bars were busy, not easy to find a place to sit for a drink, but simply walking around and soaking in the atmosphere while taking obligatory pictures of the building as night settled in, along with views of the tower bridge and ferries in the bay, is a fun way to start the evening.
Lots of stairs, but also wheelchair friendly.
Inside the Opera House, staff are efficient and helpful, and we were ushered to the correct door based on our seats. No videography/photography allowed inside.
If you come all the way to Sydney from elsewhere in the world, make sure to plan for a show at the amazing Opera House.

Sydney Opera's one of those places where you have to stop what you are doing and chill with a cold one in one hand. Hands down one of the most important landmarks in the world. Plenty of restaurants and bars on sight, tourist attractions and of course the Opera house, a marvellous piece of architecture. Love this city, hope to travel back again.

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most iconic landmarks in Sydney and an architectural masterpiece. The location is stunning, situated on the waterfront of Sydney Harbour with stunning views of the city skyline and the harbour bridge. But beyond just being a beautiful building, the Opera House is also a great place to chill and hang out.
The outdoor terrace areas offer a relaxed atmosphere where you can sit and take in the view or enjoy a drink with friends. The indoor bars and cafes provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere to relax and enjoy a coffee or light meal. The atmosphere is always buzzing, with a mix of tourists and locals, giving the Opera House a vibrant energy.
Additionally, there are plenty of events and performances that take place at the Opera House, ranging from classical music to contemporary theatre and dance performances. It's a great place to catch a show and take in some culture. Overall, the Sydney Opera House is a must-visit for anyone visiting Sydney, and a great spot to hang out and enjoy the stunning views and lively atmosphere.

One of the landmarks in Sydney. Must visit places when you come to Sydney. You will be amazed by the building architecture there.
But the parking rate there is very high. About 20 dollars per hour. So it is advised that you take public transport to the place.
There are few bars and restaurants nearby. So you can get a quick drink when you are around there.
Overall it is a very beautiful and marvelous place.

I had a great time spending 1 hour learning about this place by tour guide. I didn't expect too much before I came to Sydney, but this place is a definite icon of Sydney. I can't wait to go back this Sunday to see Miss Saigon here.

It's a main tourist point in Sydney. We enjoyed drinks, delicious food and clicked many beautiful pictures. The view of Sydney harbour bridge and Opera House is awesome. It has a nice sitting area on the deck of Sydney Opera House. We spent approx three hours here.

My first visit to the Sydney Opera House was nothing short of enchanting. The architectural masterpiece exceeded my expectations, and the proximity to Sydney Harbour added a picturesque charm. Attending a performance inside one of its iconic venues was a sensory delight, with impeccable acoustics and a captivating atmosphere. The staff's professionalism and the overall organization enhanced the overall experience. This visit was a cultural journey and a testament to why the Sydney Opera House stands as a global symbol of excellence in the arts.

The place is spectacular. The building itself is a picture of amazing architecture from the outside. It sit on the shore of the Sidney Harbour with the famous Harbour bridge in its shadow. The jewel of this experience was being able to actually listen to a performance inside. This is once in a lifetime opportunity that is worth every effort of a long flight and overcoming jet lag.

Very gorgeous and unique architectural design. Stayed there for more than 3 hours still did not want to leave. Everything is beautiful and plenty of foods and drinks options just below on the ground. Can enjoy foods and drinks with the beautiful view of darling harbour bridge.

It is a beautiful symbol of a human spirit, imagination, creativity, and ability to overcome challenges. It is a people's place. Come and be part of it.
If you want to go on a tour inside the Opera House, buy tickets online to select the day and time available, and then arrive to the Welcome Center, which is located underground on the left side 15 min ahead of your time.
Also, if you can, come on Saturday and hang around until about 9 PM to see a fireworks 🎆

An iconic bucket list venue, my first visit. Beautiful harbour views though super crowded around the venue, plan ahead!
We saw Gatsby at the Green Light, interesting dance moves though lacked a story line and turned a little burlesque/odd in the last few scenes 🤔

This was my first trip to Sydney, and the Opera House is majestic. It's so much better in real life than any picture you will ever see. We did a guided tour and went back the next day to watch a show. We loved both of these and highly recommend that everyone should definitely take the time to go for the tour and check out a show.

The Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk is a scenic path that takes you past beautiful beaches, cliffs and parks. It's a great way to spend an afternoon if you're looking for something different from the beachfronts.
One of best iconic coastal walks to do in Sydney whether you're a tourist or local..The starting point is in Bondi Beach near the Iceberg Dining Room and Bar.
It's one of my happy place to go to , just to relax and chill after a busy week at work. It's a relatively easy walk to do and do not require much fitness. However there are some sections with a slight incline and steps. This walk allows you to take a swim at a few beaches on the way, with toilet facilities at all beaches. Will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on your stops, but we did it in 1.5 hours.
Highly recommended

Highly, highly recommend this walk as it was the highlight of our trip to Sydney. On a beautiful day (72F), we took our time wondering the long trail and stopping at the various beaches of different sizes along the way. I'm not sure how long it would be if you just walked it straight, but we started at Coogee and ended at Bondi probably 2 and change hours later because we stopped to take pictures so many times.

Spectacular views at every corner along the 2 hours walk from Coogee to Bondi. I went two times during my recent stay in Sydney, once in the morning and once during sunset hours, both truly amazing.
Apart from the beautiful nature, it’s great to see how locals spend their free time here, surfing / fishing/ chilling on the beaches/ bbq / dog walking / family bonding … make me jealous : )
No doubt to say that Sydney is one of the best places to live in the world!

We started the coastal walk from Bondi at 7.30am. Fantastic views on this coastal walk. We went with three other families and kids. Kids enjoyed the walk. My 4 year old can't walk on up hill path so I had to carry him on my back. We had a coffee break in between at Bronte Beach. We finished at Coogee around 11am for Lunch. Overall it was a fantastic walk and I would love to come back.

Some really stunning views while walking on this trail. It seems long on paper but time really flies when you’re walking and taking in the view.
I would recommend starting the trail from coogee in the morning and reaching Bondi just in time for lunch there.

Everytime we get guests come and stay with us, I always recommend they do this walk before leaving Sydney. It's a must. Lovely views, beautiful little bays and beaches along the way. Make sure you have a pair of good walking shoes as there are lots of steps up and down.
Helen Di Domenico — Google review
One of the things to do whilst in Sydney. The walk takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, including photography and toilet stops (located at beaches along the way). It's a very scenic trail and not too difficult for young and old, although there are some steep steps along the way. You may get slightly wet from sea spray on blustery days.

We went on a Sunday, started mid morning in Coogee and got to Bondi around noon. It was an easy enough trail and breathtaking! Parts of the trail are uneven and there are a lot of stairs. A few places were a tad narrow and passing people was a bit of a challenge. Overall it is a must do! The trails are fairly well marked and easy to follow the directions.

Amazing! Highly recommend doing this if you’re able l. Beautiful views and scenery. It was not packed when we went, which was at the beginning of August. You get to see a lot, take in a nice walk, and meet great people. We received a recommendation from a local to go to Iceberg’s restaurant at the Bondi Beach end of the walk and we were SO glad we did it!

After numerous recommendations, my friends and I decided to embark on this coastal walk. It's a well-maintained and secure trail, suitable for all ages. The path is family-friendly and offers several water spots for a quick refill. The scenic views along the way are breathtaking, and we concluded our journey with a refreshing dip in the ocean at Coogee. The area also boasts fantastic restaurants where we enjoyed a delicious meal. We're already planning to do this walk again, and it's a definite must-experience!

We took the train and bus from Sydney to Coogee and enjoyed the walk from there to Bondi - absolutely beautiful route with lots of great beaches and views! We had our baby with us in a hiking carrier which was perfect - you can’t do the walk with a stroller. If you are in Sydney we would definitely recommend taking this walk!

Scenic walk and loads of places to stop in-between. We walked with our 8 year old and she enjoyed the dips in water too. Has steep steps to cover in the walk.

Incredible walk in the summer with ups and down. Walk goes through a cemetery that is in a very special place! Highly recommend the walk but does require you to be in good shape. Being by the coast also offers a really nice breeze so it doesn’t get too hot.

Lovely way to explore the coast! We started at South Coogee and it took us about 3+ hours at a leisurely pace. We saw lotsa surfers catching the waves, day trippers and swimmers and bathers in the pools. There are soft serve and coffee trucks at the larger bays/beaches but plenty of drinking water and bathrooms all along the walk.
Shuwen Koh — Google review
Done this walk a handful of time and it’s stunning every time. Lots of places to stop along the way and enjoy the view and take breaks, even take dips along the smaller beaches.
I recommend starting early or in the evening to catch the sunset. It can get a bit busy on weekends along the path, but you meet some nice people and furry friends.
I appreciate how many toilets are available and changing spots if you’re changing into bathers. Also, water refill stations that are handy.
I did the walk in Birkenstocks and made it fine. If you’re jogging or going non-stop I would recommend some good shoes as there are some bits with gravel and hills.

THIS IS A MUST!! I only had 1.5 days of freedom during a work trip to Sydney from the states and so many locals recommended this walk and I can see why. Please prioritize this on your trip to Sydney. You don't need to be super active but it's about 3.5-4 miles and does have stairs. Great way to get steps in before a long flight and see some of the most breathtaking views.

Breathtaking views. I normally walk in the daytime and the views are amazing as always.
Today, I went out in the evening and I could see the stars clearly and even the beautiful sunset rays. It was a great experience to walk in the evening but had to use the flashlight sometimes just to avoid any trips or falls as some of the areas do not provide light. I prefer doing the walk in the daytime but evening experience was kind of a good thing as well. Enjoy the spectacular views on the way, everyone!

We took a bus to Bondi Beach Iceberg Club and began our walk to Coogee at 8am. It was a sunny day and sun was already hot. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat. The view was spectacular just as others have said. This is a moderate hike so if the walker is in a decent fitness level, it should be fine. There are many steps up and down throughout the trail. Bring water bottles and there will be water stations to refill as well as lots of benches to sit, rest and enjoy the view. Highly recommend it.
Check out my review of Coogee Bay! Wow wow wow

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. Most beaches offer picnic shelters, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms, Tamarama, Bronte, Coogee and Maroubra have free electric barbecues. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a medium grade urban walk but there are some steep gradient paths and several staircases along the track. There are rest stops with great views and seating along the coast. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra. Although an urban walk the Bondi to Coogee walk is open to the elements, please make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, sun screen, water and in colder weather wear appropriate clothing.

The Bondi Coastal Walk was truly awesome! Walking from Bondi to Coogee was one of the best activities I did in Sydney. It's amazing how people in Sydney can hit the beach in just 30 minutes from CBD!
Starting early in the morning was smart. With the sun behind us, walking was easier, and we didn't have to squint. The views were stunning, and it was super fun. I'll definitely come back!
After the walk we actually took the uber back to Bondi since we have cafes that we wanna visit.

A great walk with great sites to see. Use google maps because the path the take changes and is not always well marked. The part of the path near Coogee is less crowded. The part of the path near Bondi is more crowded. There are a few shops with free toilets along the path. There are free stations to fill up your water bottles along the way.

Sydney Bay is a large and picturesque harbor that offers amazing views of iconic Sydney bridges and buildings. It's well worth taking a sightseeing cruise around the bay to see all of the beautiful landmarks. The bay also has wide beaches, coves, gardens, and parks to explore.

Port Jackson is the beautiful place, we know as Sydney Harbour and one of the most spectacular harbours in the world not only on the water but the many walks around the coastline. With its busy water traffic and iconic structures such as the bridge and the Opera House it must be seen from the water

What can I say. Sydney Harbour (Port Jackson) for me personally has and always will be the most picturesque and beautiful harbour in the world.
Although I don't live in this city any longer. I am always in awe of this extremely appealing and iconic harbour.
It can look so different depending upon the time of day. Or when it is seen at sunrise, sunset, rain or cloud. It never fails to show different characteristics when seen under natural and artificial lighting as well as a variety of different weather conditions.
The Iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbour bridge as always are a must see if you are only visiting briefly.

Fringed by Sydney Harbour National Park, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo Wharf, & walk the trail to Bradleys Head.
Watch the ferries commuting across the harbour, enjoy a picnic, & take in the breathtaking scenery.
There are great harbour views from the entire walking trail to Middle Head.
One of the prettiest, most scenic walks I've been on & highly recommended whilst in Sydney.
Also a popular area for fishing & boating.

Just fun for the kids. The best part, the power themselves out, meaning they will have a good sleep at night.
We have been there several times, even went there for a birthday party, just a fun thing to do. I wish they had a larger version for adults too.
They serve snacks and coffee, limited seats for parents, but you manage. Parking should not be a problem as it is in an industrial area and only converts into a children's fun world in evenings.

Good family fun. Not just for the kids. Adults should definitely have a go too. It's a great workout! Place is well maintained. Many people choose to bring their own food and drinks (though there is a little kiosk there).
Watsons Bay is an eastern harbourside suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is situated around 11 km from the central business district and falls under the jurisdiction of Woollahra's local government area. The suburb has a rich history as a fishing village and military base in colonial times, as evidenced by its heritage cottages that line narrow streets. It offers a lovely day trip opportunity via ferry to explore South Head and enjoy leisurely lunch on its waterfront premises.
