We stopped over on a road trip and loved it. They have an excellent choice of high quality local produce. The place is big and has a nice selection of things to discover. The cheese selection is great too. Also you have a wine experience. A tad bit overpriced but still a great place to be at.

Review transferred from another account and was originally written in 2019.
Calling yourself Cheese World is a very big and deceitful claim. There were 10 tasty cheese on display, all of which you can purchase from a regular supermarket. What's worse, some of the cheese for tasting were not even cut up for tasting.
The shop has locally made jam, relish, pickles, lotion etc. None available for sampling.
The Cheese Museum is a regular museum with old farm equipment. Not at all related to cheese making.
**All in all very disappointing**
Hungry Munchkin — Google review
Good selection of cheeses but unfortunately no tastings as yet. Hours reduced at the moment as they're still finding their feet after covid, 12 - 3 Tues, wed, and Thurs for now. Hubby liked the free museum, he enjoyed looking at all the old farm fixtures.
Sonja Trower — Google review
Good place to tick off the bucket list, some lovely cheeses to buy, nice cafe area.
Vintage cheddar is DELICIOUS
‘Museum’ takes about 5 mins and isn’t too exciting.
We were hoping to do a Tasting but this wasn’t an option sadly, maybe something for Cheeseworld to consider?
Rochelle M — Google review
Stopped in for lunch. Double Beef and bacon burger was sensational, my wife had toasted a ham and cheese which was also spot on. Coffees were on point.
Scott Petrie — Google review
The museum is fantastic. It's a big collection of items, including electrical appliances, kettles that need a stove, typewriters, and dial telephones!
Lots of mechanical features as well including car, butter churners, butter pat paddles, cheese makers and presses. As well as a huge array of hand tools.
The shop had an array of Tasmanian and Crackerbarrell cheeses on display along with boutique jams and chutneys for tourist to buy.
Kerry Ho — Google review
Good visit if you have an hour spare, good food at a reasonable price in cafe and a great weekend museum, friendly staff. Oh lovely cheese also and a small cheese related gift shop
Michael Marello — Google review
A great place for great wines, cheeses and lovely chats with friendly staff.
Picked my presents here. Highly recommended!

Love this place done some cheese tasting and left with a lot of cheese this is the best tasting cheese we have ever had. The staff was happy to help and museum was a great look. Keep up the good work guys and girl
Ian Collins — Google review
Museum is little but lots of gear in there to check out. QR codes provided to allow you to research the item and its use!!! The cafe does do cheese tastings now, staff were really friendly.
Anne Wiatkowski — Google review
Delicious lunch at the Cafe. Bought a 1kg wheel of cheese 🧀 and a few smaller ones. The lovely lady who gave us tastings was very knowledgeable.
Cheryl Parry — Google review
Such a great place to stop by, great cafe and delicious cheese toasties, you have got to try their milkshakes too.
There’s a museum with free entry showing some history of the cheese factory.
Faisal aldawsari — Google review
Museum was a walk down memory lane with a great chat with the curator.
Expected more locally made items in the cheese world shop, seemed to be like any other coffee shop to me. Glad we stopped into the museum.
Craig Catterall — Google review
Stopped by for brunch during our GOR drive. Generous portion but nothing special to shout about. Free entry museum - quite interesting history about the factory.
Ren Kai Goh — Google review
The museum has a great selection of farming memorabilia. It is free to enter.
Betty Damianidis — Google review
Great first stop from Warrnambool to Apollo Bay. Some cool old technology and items inside the museum.
Samuel Lison — Google review
The museum is great, but that’s about where the expectations to learn anything beyond what goes on inside the gigantic cheese productions that operate either side of the road, end.
It just feels like a let down on both sides as a literally massive missed opportunity to showcase not only the modern practices at scale, but the produce which should be the star attraction. The cafe might be the best cafe in the world, but there’s already plenty of cafes, the whole idea of a destination about a product, should showcase and be a destination about the product. Cheese world, rather, small cheese section in the corner of a cafe attached to a museum (again the museum is Very Good), but once you see it. You’ve seen it. Stars brought up to 3 by the museum alone.
Joe Parker — Google review
Very friendly staff in cafe and museum. Cafe has various menu options and things to buy.
Museum has kept the old history of how cheese world started.

Picturesque falls. Accessible for everyone. But going down to the bottom of the falls needs to use the stairs. Good to visit even it’s overcast day.
LucyLiao — Google review
Beautiful waterfall and easily accessible as it’s literally a couple of steps from the car park.you can also walk to the base of the falls in 5 minutes.
The Caravan of courage — Google review
The Falls were in full flow today, looking spectacular. There are several sets of stairs to go down if you want to see the Falls from the bottom, but they are easily navigated. The pathways are clearly marked and the lookout points are solidly built. If you are in the area do yourself a favour and pay these Falls a visit, they are well worth it!
Katrina Cragg — Google review
It won't rock your world but it is worth taking the short drive off the highway for a look.
It would be loud and stunning after a good storm.
Dave Paterson — Google review
Loved it. Free to visit. Can't take strollers or prams down the base. When I got there at the parking, I was surprised to see two lookouts just steps away from where I parked my car. They show the top of the fall. Besides these lookouts, I also went downstairs, in 2 min, to see the falls from base. What an amazing sight of beauty it is! Then it began raining and the falls became noisier which felt great. It is safe to go on the rocks although there were some chameleons on them. The water itself is a little off-white in colour from the rocks and greenery.
Fame Forward — Google review
Fantastic falls with great picnic and amenities.
Easy viewing of the falls from the car park area, accessible for everyone.
Or go down some stairs to the bottom of the falls for another perspective.
Fishing at the bottom of the falls is easy access too.
Rob Moss — Google review
One of the Beautiful falls in Otways. Short walk. About 200 steps down - one side. A barrier stops you from touching the water or waterfall.
Sowmya Shree — Google review
Always a pleasure visiting here. I love enjoying this natural wonder & truly beautiful spot ❤️ Since upgrading this it has made it so much better & easier to enjoy. Perfect little picnic spot 👌If your local you may know a few of the hidden viewing spots visitors dont know about 😉 ❤️
MandaGirl — Google review
Quite a good waterfall to visit. There was a good amount of water when we visited. Not a real high waterfall but quite long. Very pretty. We took dogs on lead and a pensioner with a walking stick and all managed it easily. Numerous lookout points to take photos from.
Tanya Smith — Google review
Great area with multiple lookout points, even provide a bench to sit and relax. Don’t require any hike or intense walk, in fact 2 lookout points are right at the carpark, and you can take a few steps down to have the front POV of the waterfall.
Aileen Ooi — Google review
Amazing place worth to visit. No tickets required, you can see the waterfalls from above in the car park, but if you want to view it closely you need to go down through steep stairs.
Faisal aldawsari — Google review
Really worth the detour to go and have a look at one Australia’s widest waterfalls. The shire should promote this spot more, it was well kept (a touch overgrown) and the signs really need to be upgraded but both the upper and lower lookouts provided great views of the falls even after minimal rainfall. We couldn’t spot a platypus though!
Jackson Morris — Google review
Nice little waterfall. We drove past the water fall and have to drive back as we thought it was just a river. The parking is just before the bridge
Hung Pham — Google review
It's a picturesque spot, especially after a rainy day, when the river is in full flow. There are a couple viewing platforms at the car park level. To get upclose to the waterfall, you'll need to walk down a sloping (partly with steps) path at the end of the car park. A public loo is present next to the car park.
Zeph — Google review
One of the best falls in Victoria near Warnambool, very easy drive and good road conditions, Once in the car park, it is easy to get a close up view of the falls, with elevated viewing platform located alongside the falls that feel very close to the action. There is also a stairs that leads down to the base of the falls, with a couple of park benches to rest a while and admire the view which is currently closed with wires around. According to the information board on site, at 100 metres across, the falls are one of the widest in Australia. When the river is flowing strongly, it fills up the whole width of these falls, a small picnic area, which is located right next to the car park. There is only one bbq, but it is sheltered, and there are a couple of picnic tables and a toilet. This point in Summer there is still plenty of water in the falls but the best time to fully enjoy this gorgeous fall will be winter ❄️ you can also enjoy the nature with lovely cows 🐄.
Jawad Arain — Google review
This was a great area for a big family gathering. Tables and BBQ and good playing area. Toilets close by.
Tis Me — Google review
Nice place, beautiful view and easy access to parking places. It can easy access to the river through the side small walkways.

Very picturesque place. You definitely won’t regret visiting this place during the Great Ocean Road trip.
Artur Boiko — Google review
Some claimed the same or better than the famous of Twelve Apostles, but just as impressive in our view, the Bay of Islands is a collection of pale limestone stacks buffeted by the heavy waves of the Southern Ocean.
The Bay of Islands is about 25 minutes past the Twelve Apostles, near Peterborough. Let’s known and more peaceful to enjoy the view as less tourist known. They're particularly beautiful at sunset, and there’s a short boardwalk along the coastline where you can take in the best views. With similar scenery to the Apostles yet half the crowds, this is definitely one of the more underrated places to visit along the Great Ocean Road.
Andrew Goh — Google review
Such an amazing lookout with amazing views of the rock formations along the Great Ocean Road.
On a nice day you would be able to have some great views of the expanse.
Pragya Gupta — Google review
Bay of Islands offers great aerial views around sunset. Such clean, crisp air and breathtaking views.

Another great easy lookout to see along the great ocean road. Easy access and not a far walk from the car park.

Awesome place to spend some quiet time. Highlight of the GOR
London Bridge, located along the Great Ocean Road, is a natural rock formation that offers stunning coastal views and a glimpse into the area's geological history. Once connected to land by another arch, it now stands as an offshore rock arch with a broken platform. The collapse of part of the bridge in 1990 has added to its scenic features, providing visitors with a unique blend of history and nature.
Worth a stop during sunset!
A lot platforms and a few benches to sit on. Very, very windy but calming.
I had the place to myself again.
It’s in my top 3 spots along the GOR.
Rouven Grossmann — Google review
Remember the song of ‘London Bridge is falling down’ then you’d definitely be right; London Bridge is a limestone archway just offshore that was once connected to the mainland.
The part of the rock formation actually collapsed in January 1990, creating the sheer cliffside that you see today. Thankfully no one was hurt, but two tourists did get stranded on the remaining arch and had to be rescued by helicopter!
The views from the London Bridge lookout over the Arch and the pristine beach below are beautiful and definitely one of our favourite places to see on the Great Ocean Road.
Andrew Goh — Google review
Last stop of the day trip, awesome view with beautiful sunset
tommy Do — Google review
This is one of the last piece in 12 Apostles area but worth to visit to complete the trip of 12 Apostles and surrounds.
Head to the upper western or lower eastern viewing platforms at London Bridge and take in sweeping views of the great Southern Ocean.
Originally a natural archway and tunnel in an impressive offshore rock formation, London Bridge collapsed in 1990 and became a bridge without a middle. Before the collapse, visitors to the site were able to walk across 'the eastern bridge' that stretched across to the mainland.
Disabled access available and plenty of Car Parking spaces available.
Jigar Mehta — Google review
Another great sight to see on the Great Ocean road just a short walk from the carpark. It can get very busy during peak times and sunsets here are particularly pleasant, like most areas along the coastline here. Dogs are not allowed here unfortunately (try Bay of Islands instead!). Worthwhile seeing before it collapses further!
Kerbray — Google review
A good stop driving at great ocean road. Plenty of parking lots, a very short walk to the lookout. We visited in winter month of August, not crowded, which gives us nice spaces for photos.
Yee Sin — Google review
Great spot to take in the sight of London bridge. Easy walk to both viewing spots, although the view point closer down towards the beach you’d be best wear some grippy shows as you’ll be walking on some rock at the end which may be slippery if wet.
Ian Desouza — Google review
After visiting 12 apostles, go beyond a little bit, and you'll find this beautiful scenery. The sound of the waves crashing to the rocks is both amazing and deadly at the same time. Best part is that this area is not too busy so you'll get plenty of chance to take great pictures.
Christian Morcilla — Google review
Best viewing point to capture. Awesome beach
Nature Beauty (Maria khan) — Google review
Another nature site must be visited after the Twelve Apostles. Worthwhile to visit as it provides a stunning view, how the strong waves are constantly ramping the side of the wall, crashing the rocks.
One of the arch had collasped in 1990. They rock are slowly erroded due to strong wind and sea.
WS — Google review
It is a stunning rock formation along the Great Ocean Road. It was once a natural arch but collapsed in 1990, leaving two disconnected pillars. Despite the collapse, it remains a popular tourist spot with breathtaking coastal views and a reminder of the ever-changing nature of landscapes.
Dr. Haaj — Google review
It is another tourist spot , popular and in a clear sky day the view will be even more beautiful. Not sure what London Bridge actually looks like, but it's look really cool.
Nomyen — Google review
The lookout was beautiful, and it’s just 50meters walk from the car parking . There are 3 lookouts and there is no access to the beach. Sit-outs are present everywhere and you can sit and view the amazing look for a while. There are also helicopter facilities available for the view.
Loch Ard Gorge is a nature park situated in the coastal region, which offers self-guided walks, viewing platforms and also has a cemetery. It is one of the many picturesque spots on the Great Ocean Road that attracts high levels of tourism without charging any entry fee. A visit to this fantastic place takes around two hours to appreciate its dramatic coastal scenery, including iconic landmarks such as the Twelve Apostles, The Arch and Gibson Steps.
Magical part of the Australian coastline, these photos were taken from an outcrop that you get to from a road that is not marked about 10 min out of Port Campbell. Like the apostles the high cliffs and water inlets make for some amazing photographs and visual memories that will last for a lifetime. With caves all along some accessible and some not, Loch Are Gorge will take a couple of days to really absorb it all.
Jody Wattle — Google review
Wow Certainly Gods Country an Absolutely Amazing Coastline Stunning really the steps down to beach level are closed but you can still get to the Lookouts and my mother was on a mobility scooter so was really impressed she could get there also
Highly Recommended
Callum McLeod — Google review
As part of my Great Ocean Road trip, I visited this place after the Twelve Apostles, and I didn't know what to expect exactly, but I think it impressed me even more than the apostles themselves. It's a beautiful place to see, with spectacular cliffs, and definitely not to be missed if you find yourself nearby. From the parking area, there are three trails of different lengths leading to new lookout points, and each one is worth exploring as they offer excellent views. Don't miss the opportunity to stroll along these trails for a unique perspective of the area. Worth a visit!
Ivan Šarić — Google review
Fantastic Place.
Very high levels of tourism.
Don't need to pay for entry.
Need a good couple hours to take it all in.
Aaron Grant — Google review
A must visit! There are a few stairs but they aren't steep or too many. Unless you have a lot of difficulty with stairs, highly recommend the walk down to enjoy the gorge up close! If not, the view from the top is also amazing! My pics don't do it justice as it was slightly cloudy when I visited.
Rosita — Google review
The view was splendid and the geologic cave was there on the opposite side of the beach. There is an epic behind the name of the location and beach. And the entire history is written on the board. The place is quite busy and the tide is huge, so bathing or playing in the beach is not allowed
Sukirtha Tamil — Google review
Extremely beautiful place. There’s a spectacular view from the top but the view at the bottom is beyond description. You’ve to get down a few steps to enjoy the full view. We went on a rainy day but the steps weren’t slippery or steep. Crystal clear water. Lot of parking spaces available. 3mins drive from 12 apostles. A must visit.
Khush — Google review
Magnificent breathtaking scenic views , especially when big waves hit the rocks.
This is a true wonder of nature and one of the highlights doing the Great Ocean Road tour.
A must visit when in Melbourne. It is a place that you will appreciate the beauty of mother nature. Lots of photo ops.
Louie Temp — Google review
Impressive place. You can look at several rock formation and even access the beach and take a bath. This place combines a lot of the elements that you can’t find in such a composition along Great Ocean road. Car park great, but no toilets. Some benches to sit down and enjoy nature available. Take your time, it is worth it
fabian p — Google review
One of the attraction when come to great ocean road in Australia. Beautiful erosion over million years by the sea, wine and sand! One day it may collapse overtime! Worth a visit for first time visit and my last visit probably 20 over years ago .. still looks as beautiful!
Andrew Goh — Google review
One of the most beautiful and must watch place in the Great Ocean Road. Great views with excellent picturesque opportunities. 100 meters walk from car park and then there's steep steps leading down to the gorge. Not wheelchair and dog friendly.
harsha lakshmipuram — Google review
This area is a must go in the Australia coastal road trip , loch ard gorge is usually viewed along with the twelve Apostles , and should not be skipped, the beach view makes for great photo opportunities,
A short walk down the stairs from the car park and you reach the beach where you see two rock formations with a gap in the middle
Gorgeous views
Kevin KW — Google review
An amazing spot to visit along the great ocean road. If you’ve come all this way to visit the twelve apostles then you must come here. Great views of the gorge from the top but it’s best to experience by going down to the beach itself and just taking it all in. Will come back here every time I’m in the area, great spot.
Ian Desouza — Google review
Loch Arc Gorge was one of the five highlights of the Great Ocean Road scenic trip on the day I went. The place is closed to the beach where you can take photos. You can only see the upper part where there is a beautiful walkway. There are two beautiful photo spots where you can admire the beautiful view.
Nattinee Suwannatee — Google review
Absolutely stunning! A definite must-visit on your Great Ocean Road road-trip. The beauty is truly captivating. Immerse yourself in the captivating beauty; don’t just snap a quick photo. Take the time to absorb the natural wonders.
Suzy Malyen — Google review
A must see if travelling along the Great Ocean Road! This site has numerous elements to it, all of which are completely captivating. The short walk through the natural plantation to view the ocean scenery is peaceful and enjoyable. There are also numerous spots where photos can be taken, creating great opportunity for visual memories.
Lily Andrews — Google review
Marvellous place to view the beauty of sea waves from top. The steps to reach the beach from top is presently closed. However, a. Must visit place to feel the beauty of the nature with lush green surroundings at the top.
Dr. Nagesh Prabhu — Google review
Continue our journey to see the beautiful natural creation. A great walk as well.
Boon Hoe Chew — Google review
Loch Ard Gorge is very near to 12 apostles like 5mins drive. Definitely worth watching. This gives more closer view of rock and sea. Three angles you can watch it. You can get down to sea area too but it takes one hr to come back so I skipped this. But if u r on ur own vehicle you can go for the beach. Its mentioned snakes are there near bushes so alert ur kids n stay away from risky places.
Jai ganesh — Google review
Much nicer than the Twelve Apostles. The beach is also closer. The parking was sufficient (when we went) but I can see how it can get crowded easily.
Razvan Bogasiu — Google review
Loch Ard Gorge is a true natural wonder and a highlight of the Great Ocean Road. The towering limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and sandy beach create a picturesque scene. It's a place where you can truly appreciate the power and beauty of nature. The history of the shipwreck that gives the gorge its name adds a layer of intrigue to the site. Walking along the paths and descending to the beach is an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or a history buff, Loch Ard Gorge is a must-visit destination in Victoria.
Laurence Ho (Bluegray) — Google review
Loch Ard Gorge is one of the most scenic places to see on the Great Ocean Road; a protected, sandy beach nestled amongst cliffs. You need to go a few steps down and there is this secluded beautiful serene beach. You will love it here. Nature in its glory, waves crashing in. Go during day time like for me it was one of the tourist attractions I went to during my day tour to the great ocean road.
Waves thread their way through the gorge and up onto the beach when the swell is up. And when it’s calm, the inlet turns glassy and turquoise blue. Tour Groups frequent here during the day, time your visit for sunrise or sunset to avoid the crowds.

Absolutely breathtaking views! Especially when the huge waves hit the rocks. There is a way to go down to the beach but it was closed due to high tide when I was there, nonetheless it was an amazing experience!

Great Ocean Road Port Campbell, VIC 3269, Australia
Port Campbell National Park is a sprawling park that offers an array of coastal experiences including fishing, diving and canoeing. One of the must-do bucket list items in the area is driving along Great Ocean Road, which takes visitors on a scenic route past stunning beaches and historical sites before leading them into the park. Inside Port Campbell National Park, visitors can marvel at natural wonders such as the Twelve Apostles, London Arch, Loch Ard Gorge and The Razorback.
Very pretty when the weather is right!!! If you are visiting 12 apostles, then you should definitely stop by here and enjoy the views. Meantime, take some photos. There are wild animals like snakes in the bushes, so be careful. When I visited here did see a lizard of some sort.
Long 4saken — Google review
Very good views of the twelve apostles.
It’s generally windy here so it’s advisable to wear some warm clothing. Also snakes are sometimes seen on the paths.
However the views are fantastic.
Sidhesh Ganeriwala — Google review
We walked part of the Great Ocean Walk from the 12 Apostles car park to Prince Town and back. Took us about 3 hrs. Lovely rugged coastline walk. There is a beautiful little section where you walk through a closed in coastal forest with vines hanging from the tree canopy. Very calming. The only issue, in my honest opinion, was the constant 7 to 8 hours of helicopter noise from the local charter company. It was Easter, so not sure if this is normal. We stayed in Port Campbell and heard the engine noise constantly for 3 days.
Joanna Rule — Google review
Great viewing of what is left of 12 apostles. Helicopter tours available, quite pricey.
Centre staff not helpful, toilets clean. Watch out for tiger snakes, as the warning signs are plentiful.
jennifer bradford — Google review
Gorgeous! Simply stunning. Lucky the weather good and I got to enjoy these magnificent views. Totally worth the long hours of travelling here. There was a helicopter ride available at AUD160. Did not try that out, maybe I might come back and try it out for a different perspective and view in future. Lovely sun set views.

Windy, wet but absolutely beautiful! That's a winter visit to the coast in Victoria. Well worth the weekend getaway for the scenery and rugged coastline.
Kym P. — Google review
Driving back along part of the Great Ocean Road, in an endeavour to see the 12 Apostles... but had no idea just how insane the peak viewing season was (as I've never been before)... drove straight past all the popular viewing platforms and found a wonderful place, windy, but still serene...and only 1 other couple there at the same time. Stunning view!! Sorry about the wind in the videos 😀😃

Port Campbell is a massive park that encompasses the Twelve Apostles, the London Arch, Loch Ard Gorge, the Gibson Steps and the Grotto. All of these attractions are easily navigable, well organised and worth visiting.
These sites are all solid 4 or 5 star attractions, which makes the park itself an easy 5 stars. It's probably one of the coolest places I've been too in Australia.
Harrison Hewitt — Google review
What an amazing area of the world. Spectacular views and coastline in every direction, and surprisingly also had some picturesque forests in the area. Extremely busy area during the school holiday period. Good food and good atmosphere in the small towns dotting the coast.

Amazing, breathtakingly beautiful place. This is a must see on a trip to Melbourne. Take a GoWest Tour they are fantastic. Do all 3 walks even if it's raining. So stunning.
Victoria Steele — Google review
This is one of the world's most scenic drives – and its undoubted highlight is the Twelve Apostles, which tower 45 metres above the Southern Ocean.
It’s a great beautiful place to visit since it’s on the great ocean road. Port Campbell National Park is open to the public all year with free admission. Most of the park consists of natural landmarks that are free to drive up to and enjoy the sights. The park is one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations since it's located along the Great Ocean Road.

Only about 3 - 5 apostles left but still stunning on a good day. The Visitor Centre was closed, the toilets were dirty, and staff seemed to care less. It's definitely only worth a 2 minute stop off while passing through. Beautiful but could be so much better.

Must must see when driving along the Great Ocean Road 💞 I suggest going towards sunset, even more amazing looking and way less crowded in high season. You basically will be there all by yourself. Take the Gibson Steps down and walk on some of the softest sand you'll ever find. You can grab a helicopter ride as well and see it from a completely different perspective.
Bret Zarkiewicz — Google review
This viewing area for the twelve apostles is great. There is a kiosk and toilets available. Be aware this place can get very busy with tourists cars and tour busses.
Jurgen Hein — Google review
It's really a wonderful piece of paradise indeed. The facilities are clean n the coffee shop just adequate to allow you more than ample time to enjoy the beauty there whilst u grab a bite on the run. So worth the long drive! There are helicopter flights as well that you can nook to enjoy the coast even more.

Being a Victorian, I have visited The Twelve Apostles many many times over the past 60+ years & have always enjoyed the natural beauty of this stunning scenery. It does not matter what the weather is like, it is always a beautiful place to visit.
The Twelve Apostles, located in Princetown VIC, is a must-see destination along the Great Ocean Road. This marine national park features breathtaking limestone stacks rising from the Southern Ocean, offering a rugged and stunning view of the Australian coast. Visitors can explore this geologically significant site and make lasting memories. The area also offers a visitor centre with amenities like parking and toilets.
Beautiful place, has an information Centre with a small cafe, good parking (can be crowded - take care of you are directed to the small road that leads to the helipad. you will experience 7km of gravel road and 12 km of detour in total). We were there early and enjoyed the view from the platform. The path to the platform is nice and easy, you will need 5minutes maybe. They have a coin press, which is excellent as we are collecting those from all over the world. No parking or entry fee

This is the most memorable trip in Australia. I drove 3 hours+ to get there. The view is stunning and it was very cold due to the rain.
I would have enjoyed it so much more if the weather was good.
As one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, it’s definitely a must to visit. You won’t regret it.
For drivers who aren’t very experience; i will recommend to you to take the internal road to here. As for the more experienced and adventurous drivers, take the great ocean and scenic road there.
Oh man. I really hoped it didn’t rain that day, as there were several locations I’ve yet to visit when I was there.
Be sure to be warmly dressed when going there on winter, as the wind is super chilling and strong.
The sight is something unforgettable . I will love to visit it again sometime in 2023 winter!

I wish we were there on any other day.
It was so cold, windy and raining. We couldn’t enjoy the place but I an sure it would be a very nice experience otherwise.
When coming from Melbourne, I suggest to drive through the ocean drive one way and go in land the other way.
Best if you can plan a night stay somewhere near to this place as it gets hectic with a long drive back to Melbourne on the same day.
would love to be back when the weather is better.

The destination of many a Great Ocean Road trip, it certainly leaves you in awe. The way each Apostle juts out of the ocean, standing majestically as the waves ebb and flow, the dusky hues of the sunset add the perfect glow to your experience.
I took the time to do the small trek from the 12 Apostles center to Gibson's steps and if you're physically able to and have the time, you will not be disappointed. Two apostles sit there, towering above the shore, a domineering presence. The walk down at Gibson's was pleasant in the morning, not too many people at such a scenic spot. I spent 45 minutes just hanging out.
The entire Great Ocean Road trip was wonderful and worth doing if you like long coastal rides, beach towns, and seeing some of mother nature's best. Enjoy! Light and aloha!

One of Melbourne's top attractions, I visited in April when the weather was warm with a few clouds, creating a beautiful backdrop. The massive rock formations, shaped by the relentless waves and weather, are not only enormous but also boast stunning, ever-changing colors as the sun moves across the sky. It's truly a breathtaking sight.

The 12 Apostles along Victoria's Great Ocean Road stand as majestic formations, sculpted by nature's relentless forces. Carved from limestone over centuries, they rise defiantly from the Southern Ocean, a testament to time's enduring artistry. At sunrise or sunset, their silhouettes against the horizon evoke a sense of awe, while the turquoise waters below add to the spectacle. Visitors can't help but be entranced by the sheer beauty of these rugged sentinels, a reminder of nature's power and grace. The 12 Apostles are more than just landmarks; they're living testaments to the captivating allure of Australia's natural wonders.

This experience is once in a lifetime to see a international treasure. If you can do the great Ocean road drive and make stops along the way to the little beach side towns to see the local treasures and bargains. Beaches are stunning and if your a surfer your in luck because they get some ripper waves out along the road.

This was an amazing experience we enjoyed the scenic drive along the Great Ocean Road to get to 12 Apostles.. wonderful one should always visit the place.. Watching the artistic carvings of mother nature on the lime stones of that part was amazing. You will be blown away, not only by the strong winds, but by the beauty of the erosion. it's like heaven on earth.. I highly recommend everyone should visit this place at least once in their life.. there are helicopter services if you want to have a view from above.. otherwise this nice place is free for visitors.. there are nice walks around the place which you should not miss..

The Twelve Apostles Lookout is not only a significant natural landmark but also a symbol of Australia’s natural beauty, drawing millions of visitors each year to marvel at its grandeur and splendor.
Originally, there were twelve stacks, hence the name, but due to natural erosion over time, only seven of them remain. These towering limestone formations are an iconic sight and a testament to the power of nature’s forces.
It is a famous tourist attraction located on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. It offers breathtaking views of the Twelve Apostles, which are a collection of limestone stacks standing tall in the Southern Ocean.

Beautiful scenic location, my friends and I came out here as the ultimate destination for our full day road trip from Melbourne. Highly recommend it if you love natural scenery and coastlines. We ended up doing the helicopter tour which was totally worth it for the best view. On our visit the gift shops and etc were closed so plan ahead with snacks and etc as there aren’t a ton of places nearby or on site. We were there on Friday, Nov 24, 2023 and the weather seemed terrible on the drive down (pouring rain suddenly) but thankfully it cleared right up by the time we arrived and it was gorgeous to see.

Hurry hurry there are only eight of the original 12 Apostles still standing 😁 what an amazing site to see. You must walk the Gibson Steps down to the beach area as the perspective is completely different. The sand is super soft and this is one of the most pristine beaches you'll ever walk. This is a must stop when driving along the Great Ocean Road. They also have helicopter tours for a fee.

Amazing work of nature. Scenic view with nice ocean breeze. Definitely do not regret here despite the distance in the freezing cold weather 🤭
Recommend all around the area to come admire the nature before climate change happens. Even if you’ve been here before, each time you come if will be a different view due to the work of nature.

Very beautiful natural wonder. They are gradually eroding so you will not find the old big apostles. You will see 7-8 apostles.
The beaches nearby are clean and low sloping. Ample parking with toilets. There is a souvenir shop and you will find some coffee.

I met at AM7:30 at meeting point in Melbourne and departed by tour bus, stopping at several famous places along the way, and were lucky to see koalas at the one of stopping point.
Since it was such a long distance, I had lunch at Apollo Bay (the guide recommended a few famous places. 1 hour stopping).
I were lucky to have nice weather and sunshine, but it was very windy place.
It's a great place to take pictures of your life, but there were so many people that it wasn't easy to take pictures comfortably.
Arrived in Melbourne at 8:20 PM and spent the day as is, but it was not a disappointing day.

It took me 4 hours to get there through Grand Pacific Drive from Melbourne. The drive itself was long but pleasant. The drive offered some beautiful landscapes, making the journey enjoyable despite its length.
However, upon reaching the destination, I quickly realized that the location was in the middle of nowhere. Especially after a tiring 4-hour journey you would expect some good food in a nearby village or town. But there were none.
The view was decent but it wasn’t spectacular enough to compensate for the lack of places to eat or even just rest or chill.
For me, the inconveniences outweighed the positives. I would not consider visiting this place again.
Three star is just for the Grand Pacific Drive.

So beautiful!! Plenty of parking, and a cute gift shop we didn't expect. The walk says it's 30 minutes return, but it's much shorter. It took us maybe 5 minutes to get to the viewing platform, and 5 minutes to walk back. It's accessible for wheelchairs, too.

The dramatic limestone stacks rising majestically from the Southern Ocean create a truly awe-inspiring sight. The coastal scenery is stunning, with rugged cliffs and the turquoise sea providing a perfect backdrop for these natural wonders.
The site is particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset, when the golden light casts a magical glow over the landscape. The boardwalks and viewing platforms are well-maintained, allowing for excellent vantage points without detracting from the natural beauty.
The surrounding area also offers plenty to explore, including the scenic Great Ocean Road and nearby attractions like Loch Ard Gorge. The visitor center provides informative displays about the history and geology of the Apostles, enhancing the overall experience.

Beautiful natural landscape and quintessential Australian attraction. You must stop here if driving along the Great Ocean Road. Free entry to the viewing platform, which can get busy but if you wait a little it usually clears enough to get some good photos. Plenty of parking, decent toilet facilities, little cafe which makes good coffee and sells cold drinks and souvenirs. They seem to be building a new viewing platform which will look east.

Can’t imagine we almost missed this. I knew this was the must see of the road trip but this was also the only stop where the entrance to it was on the side away from the beach so was quite easy to miss. Thank goodness we decided to go for a bathroom break and only then saw the sign for the walk to the ocean side. Def a can’t miss!

First time on a helicopter ride. Took the 16 minutes ride. Spectacular view from it. Pilot shared information about the rocks and coastline.
Few things to note:
- 2 minutes walk from the car park
- walk in possible but may need to wait
- you will get a mini boarding pass that kids will love it

For the 45km /16 minute ride / $165 per person
For the 90km/25 minute ride /$245 per person
For the 220km/ 60 minute ride /$585 per person
Better to travel in group of 2 and above.
Do make sure to book online for the tickets. Walking in depends on the tour bus guest and available seats. (Make sure to use the bathroom first before hopping into the helicopter.
They do give us a pan-drive USB for our memories throughout the flight. Do make sure to take a good camera or action camera for shooting inside of the helicopter.
Enjoy the beautiful view!!
Sure will return again for more Adventure rides.

A great scenic flight. We left at 1106. As mentioned elsewhere, try for a front seat or the right hand side of the rear. The position of the sun will influence the quality of your photos. The one below is looking through the front whilst the second one is from the left hand side on the return leg. This is a quick way to see much of the noteworthy sections of the 12 Apostles area.

It's an unforgettable experience one must have at an iconic site.
We took the first 9AM 🚁 flight with the bright sky and low tourist traffic on ground. This turned out to be the best decision. Saw the helicopter being brought out from the hangar and serviced, which was also nice to watch.
The ground staff are nice and the pilot guided us throughout the 16 minutes flight from the names of the islet rocks, migration pattern of birds to the history of Port Campbell town.

Get the best of both worlds seeing Victoria's breathtaking attraction.
This was a tick off our Bucket List and we will most certainly be returning again.
Great service provided by the crew. The team worked well with coordinating, providing safety advice/procedures and history on the iconic Rocks.
A big thank you to the team and a shout out to Callum for the smoothest flight and landing. We learnt quite a bit on the flight to appreciate Victoria's natural beauty.
Tips:
- Pre book your tickets online as time slots get taken quickly.
- Arrive 20 minutes earlier for parking and to line up (we went on a Monday and drove 1 loop around the carpark).
- Wear appropriate shoes and clothes to get in and out of the helicopter. Leave your scarves, hats or any loose items behind or in the car (It's quite windy on ground).
- My last and important tip is to put your phone down while you're up in the air. This was one of my biggest regrets being stuck to my phone and not taking in the views. So enjoy these photos 😉
Until the next flight x

Had a fantastic experience here on Friday, Nov 24, 2023. The team was friendly, efficient and the pilot did a great job explaining all the things we were viewing out the window during our flight. I would highly recommend anyone who can afford it to try it. Totally changes your experience of the twelve apostles and was worth every penny.
We were lucky to not have to wait long, our flight was about 20 mins from when we bought our tickets. If you can plan ahead you can book your tickets in advance as likely during busy tourist season of Dec - Jan it may be a much longer wait.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had in Australia. While I understand that the staff managing helicopter seats may work long hours, and would like to have the perfect number of passengers in each flight, particularly during the holiday season, it doesn't excuse being rude to customers who prefer not to be split into different helicopters. On the 30th of March, around 5:45 PM, I was part of a group of three friends. Initially, the person in charge approached us politely, suggesting we consider flying in separate helicopters as they had three available, each with a single front seat, allegedly offering a better view (which isn't actually the case)and skipping the line. They didn't have any single riders, and it would have been convenient for them if we had taken different helicopters to fill those seats. We opted to fly together, but our decision led to the staff member becoming incredibly disrespectful towards us.
When it was finally our turn to fly, we were fortunate to be paired with another group of four. The other family was very happy to sit in the back to remain together, and we were happy to take the front seats. However, the staff member rudely claimed it was not possible, stating that if we had wanted to have the privilege of fly in the front seat, we should have accepted his offer earlier. Now, only one of us could fly in the front. Naturally, the family of four was also displeased because somehow they were also punished because of our decision to remain together.
Despite the staff member's extreme rudeness and even being physically pushed out of the line to make room for other customers, both groups, after hours of waiting, chose to fly separately and then file a complaint. The flying experience itself met our expectations, with both the pilot and the other staff members displaying professionalism.
We were among the last groups of the day and were rushing to return to Melbourne, which prevented us from filing a complaint at that time. But, frankly, the encounter with this particular staff member (who was coordinating passengers on the 30th of March at 5:45 PM) was appalling.

I experienced a helicopter ride with my wife for $165 per person.
For me, it was my second time riding after a military service, and for my wife, it was her first time experience.
Since the way to fasten the seat belt is different compare with regular car, the guide installed it properly and confirmed it again.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to sit in the front and enjoy the wonderful view.
It was a short tour of about 15 minutes, but I thought it was not a waste of money.
It was a bit disappointing that the guidance was given in English and it was difficult to understand properly due to the noise of the helicopter.
Definitely recommend.

It's a lovely place to have a BBQ or picnic. There is electric BBQ on site and covered seating and tables. There are some very nice and established trees and shrubs here. There is also a wonderful rose garden here and around Melbourne Cup day the rises look so spectacular! There are toilets on site if you need to use the facilities. A good place to take the kids to fly a kite or throw a ball or frisbee.
I went with 2 of my friends on a weekday. There was a friendly lady at the counter (and a cute cat!) who helped guide us through the map of the wildlife park. We were able to pet and feed some of the animals animals like dingoes, emus, kangaroos, alpacas and deer. Super lovely and would recommend to anyone passing by the Otways. Worth every cent! The interaction with the emus and kangaroos was a highlight. Perfect for kids both big and small. The owners are simply wonderful and shared their story and insights into the world of the dingo. Just start up a friendly conversation and it might not end :-)

Beautiful park with wonderful people taking care of it. The front desk worker was so patient and explained everything to us thoroughly. We were super lucky as it was later in the day so no one else was at the park. They have an open sanctuary area where you can feed and pet, if they let you, the kangaroos and emus. The rest of the park is also stunning with a peacock and her peafowl running around. Lots of different animals to see and lush greenery.

Place is a bit run down and in need of maintenance. The animals are very well kept and in good condition, but the walkways were flooded and muddy. The owner/operator did offer us some gum boots when we paid for entrance but we did not have spare socks to use.
The dingos and pups were definitely the highlight of the park.
There is a small kiosk/curio shop when you enter. Adult admission was around $27 each.

Had a great experience here at the wildlife park here. It's a small park so you can just allocate 45 minutes to an hour for the whole park, but you'll definitely have a great time. Saw and fed some wallabies, kangaroos, the most adorable and loving dingoes, emus, sheeps, deers and many more. The animals were extremely friendly, loving, and interesting!
I especially love what they're doing for sustainability and to raise awareness for the dingoes. I definitely wouldn't have known about how important they were to our ecosystem if not for the time there today!

One of the most important aspects of a wildlife park is, of course, the animals themselves, and this park has a lot of them. The animals are well taken care of and have their own space, which is crucial for their health and well-being. It's always heartening to see a park that prioritizes animal welfare.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they introduced the park's route to us in detail. We were also delighted to find areas where we could pet and feed wallabies, kangaroos, and emus, and get up close and personal with them.
Overall, my experience at the wildlife park was fantastic. The focus on animal welfare was clear, and the staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a great day out with a focus on interacting with animals in a safe and ethical manner.

Had a great time visiting here with my family. The kids had lots of fun feeding and petting/viewing the goats, wombats, kangaroos, emus, peacocks, dingos, donkey, deers, horses, alpacas and chickens. Really has a lovely outback sanctuary feel. The only negative is that it’s not very pram friendly. I’d try and avoid a pram and instead opt for a baby carrier. The lovely owners did let us know when purchasing tickets though and showed us where on the map to try and avoid. However we needed the pram for our baby and didn’t know in advance to bring our carrier. We actually ended up breaking our pram going over the bumpy tree roots. But overall it was great and our kids loved it 😊

The "dingo experience" was mind-blowing and absolutely worth the extra money. The animals in the reserve seem healthy and relaxed. Wallabies not in the mood for petting. Josef, the guide, is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, providing insights into this remarkable animal and its crucial role as the apex predator in the Australian fauna ecosystem. Moreover, I had the opportunity to encounter a dingo that quickly recognised my friendly approach, affectionately licking my face and even sitting on my lap for a while. Everyone should learn and encounter this beautiful beast.

I definitely recommend this park! It is very authentic and lovingly maintained. The animals are not forced to do anything they don't like. Those who want to be patted come and the others don't. You can feel how much the owners care for their animals and the awareness they want to raise for dingoes! Very friendly staff and beautiful food too!

Great experience with direct access to animals that you can pet and feed. Animals have space to roam and go away when they do not want to be bothered. You can see they are well kept and taken care of.

A nice lake surrounded by hills. There is toilets, a BBQ area under shelter, tables, and a playground. A decent Boat ramp and short jetty...water has blue-green algae in it so not good for swimming. Great views of the lake from the top of the hills.

This is an amazing place to visit!
We spent well over 2 hours walking around, exploring and learning about the history of the site. More than just a lighthouse with different buildings and displays to look at. You can climb to the top of the Lighthouse without having to book a time slot and the views are magnificent.
Had a nice coffee outside the café overlooking the Lighthouse, it was a really beautiful spot!
The staff were friendly, very Covid safe and knew a lot about the history and the area.
It was well worth the entry fee - we will definitely come back again with the family.

Entrance fee is AUD$20 per adult and we spent about 90min wandering around the site learning about its history.
The place is well maintained and there are timed guided tours as well if one is interested. They also provide complimentary sunblock at the entrance.
The highlight was climbing the lighthouse which gave us a beautiful view of the coast.
There’s a nice cafe that sells a variety of baked goods. We had the scone with clotted cream and jam and it was fabulous!

This place is beautiful. Of course the views are great, but the grounds are also nice.
It's a little bit pricey to enter, and a bit of a drive to get there, but I think it's worth it, especially if you are travelling and are curious about the history, wanting to see a great view and some animals too!
Lots of history here, from WW2, and the history of the lighthouse and it's inhabitants.
If you're lucky, you'll see some whales.
The cafe is nice also, and those scones, cream and jam are just delicious.
Saw a koala on the way in and a wallaby with a joey, which was very cute.

A fantastic tourist attraction along the Great Ocean Road, I spent a couple of hours here exploring the interesting history and the absolutely stunning scenery. Well worth the entry price and there is a lovely small cafe on site for a coffee and a bite to eat. There are several walking paths near to the entrance if you want to explore further.

I actually really enjoyed my visit and it was worth the money to go in. Some amazing views from the lighthouse and we were lucky enough to see whales.
Some really lovely staff inside the park.
I’m marking down a few stars though for the girl that worked at the front desk, her attitude was really stinking, I would suggest she is not well suited to working in a tourist facing job with that horrible attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day but was a sour note at the start of an otherwise very enjoyable visit

Excellent location to spend a few hours. It is a well managed and clean location with staff at appropriate location. The artefacts have kept well for few generations. This is one lighthouse you are able to climb to the operational room. The views from the lighthouse are pretty good. There is a price to enter the location, so be aware before you make the trip.

Great. Allow over an hour to see this. The 20 minute talk was very informative - many thanks to the Cape Otways guides. The lighthouse was great. And the coffee and scones were to die for. I would recommend this place. Also this is an excellent place to spot koalas on the way in and out. The entry fee was more than reasonable. I think I am still full from the scones.

An enjoyable few hours walking around the historic sight. A climb up the lighthouse is well worth the effort. The historic talk was very informative if you're unfamiliar with the history of the area.

Second time going here. Came with a friend that had not been before. There is an entry fee to get in, $20 for an adult ticket. Bring a rain coat and warm jacket, can be cold and windy obviously being right on the coast. Beautiful view from top of lighthouse with friendly knowledgeable guide. You can explore the grounds too but at the time we went (July 2023) some parts of the grounds was closed. You can go into the old homestead and have a look around. There is also accommodation here, would be a nice spot to stay in the winter!

A must see along the Great Ocean Road! We stopped by today and visited the whole site. They did a fantastic Job, preserving everything. The lighthouse is very interesting, but so is the Telegraph station. For the immigrants, it was the first bit of Australia that they saw, and it was also the point on the mainland, Connecting to Tasmania! I was fascinated by the old technology and the condition they were in. Very educative!
D. Knapp — Google review
Beautiful place with great views and a very old lighthouse! The lighthouse was really cute! You can go up to take a look but beware of the super strong winds. There is an entrance fee for this attraction and you should expect to spend about 1-3 hours here. A cafe is available inside too. It was raining a little when we were there.
Celestine — Google review
Small drive off the main road on a narrow road where people love to stop and stand in the middle to see koalas in trees! Lighthouse itself is closed after the earthquake and entrance fee was reduced because of this. Entry should be cheaper if you are 'self guiding'. Perhaps charge a premium for guided tours and lighthouse climb? Lots of history to read. Service at the cafe was good and food was fresh. Carpark is tiny, we were there on a weekday and it was fairly quiet...there was already a few vans there - would be a nightmare in busy times. If you are there for the views, there are plenty just as good along the Great Ocean Road...and they are free.
Matt Brennan — Google review
This is a great slice of the early history of the Shipwreck Coast. The lighthouse is an amazing building, considering it was erected nearly 175 years ago. The site buildings, of which there many, are all in great condition and add to the overall story of the site. At the end of the visit I found that I didn't even begrudge the $20 entry fee, which I had initially thought was a bit steep.
Bruce Hamilton — Google review
Interesting drive in, and lots of history here. Allow at least an hour, more if you want to sample the delicious scones at the cafe. If all you want is the picture, you’ll need to consider whether the entrance price is worth it.
RedNectar (RedNectar) — Google review
We went went for this and honestly you should time your visit when there is a historical tour talk which is at about 11 am, 2 pm and 4 pm. We visited on 8 Aug 2023 and there was a fantastic guide doing the 11 am tour and he gave a really in-depth history of the nautical routes that gave rise to Cape Otway and how it helped Australia flourish to what it is today. We forgot the name of the guide but he was great! Wanted to post here to give a shout out to him. Without the context, it’s still a nice sight at the lighthouse
Alex Ng — Google review
Only went to the lighthouse with the $19.5 entry ticket. Worth-going as the lighthouse is renewed and opened for visitors to enter, able to enjoy the view from the top of the house. Guidelines of visiting are provided in both the ticket office and lighthouse. Environments are great, everything is comfortable. Might visit again and have a overnight stay.
Julia Lam — Google review
Historic place to visit. It is a bit pricey though to go and see a lighthouse! If I knew it was a paid entry, we probably wouldn’t have bothered.
The car park is a nightmare! Toilets available. A cafe sits next to the lighthouse where you can stop for lunch. Picnic area is nice.
The light station houses have nicely displayed information to see as you walk through. Overall, a good stop in just a bit expensive in my opinion.
Jess Cain — Google review
There are so many things to say about this place.
- We paid $25 for a family trip and spent less than 10 minutes there. The lighthouse was closer and so was as the area surrounding it so all we paid to see the ocean which we’ve been seeing for the past hour or so.
- There was nothing to see.
- There was nothing to do.
I think you can see what we are getting at. Also, note that there were so many flies that we had to run back to the car.
The only interesting thing were the information boards and decent view of the ocean but even then I think it’s because of the time we got there and the sky looked pretty.
Overall, it would’ve been nice if there was something to see other than the sign which told us to stop and leave as there was a mercury spill.
Demonnix — Google review
Well worth the curvy, narrow drive at times from Warrnambool ( about 90+ min). Paid admission only to enter the grounds - currently discounted from $20 to $10 ( Feb 2024) due to closure of entering the lighthouse. Lovely grounds to walk on. Impressive lighthouse and the view. Great food at the cafe too.
grant johnson — Google review
A lovely walk around this area. It is a fully paid, enclosed area so expect that when you arrive. You currently can't climb the lighthouse due to what we were told was a mercury spillage so a discount to the park was offered to compensate. A very interesting time was had with the kids with the pirate who does small group shows.
Amanda Conradie — Google review
We were super excited about the possibility of seeing Australia's oldest lighthouse, even with the warnings that we couldn't go inside it... (NO ACCESS TO LIGHTHOUSE
Due to a recent earthquake and mercury spill, there is NO ENTRY to the interior of the Lighthouse).
So we paid $10/each , okay cheaper the original price is $19.5 then now you need to $10..
But when you get there you can't get even close there, you're only 50m from the lighthouse and you can't see anything and the other arboindigenas attraction was also closed.
Maybe there should be more clear in the signs that you can't even get close the lighthouse.

Otway, Lighthouse Rd, Cape Otway VIC 3233, Australia
Zip lining & a 600-meter walk in the rainforest canopy, plus a whimsical enchanted forest trail.
Far exceeded my expectation. The scenery is great and staffs are friendly and helpful.
Was a little bit (just a little bit) for my pregnant wife to finish the walk. But their staff Craig & Selina were super nice to offer her a ride the very moment they found her struggling.
Should put it in the must-go when visiting Great Otway.

Amazing set up .
You don’t have to go to Hawaii when we have this in Australia!
It wasn’t hard or tough hike.
Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes, drink water before you start or keep a bottle of water with you.
It’s fairly an easy walk .
I had lunch after doing the walk. Their cafe food was fresh and delicious too 😊

We pre booked to do the whole zip line and walk experience which was fantastic. The whole family had a great time and felt safe throughout the whole activity thanks to the great staff.
Food and drinks are fairly expensive to purchase so be prepared 🤑
Great way to spend half a day if your in the area.

Come for the trees but do not expect good customer service. The establishment does a good job at demonstrating how customer service should not be done.
Not friendly nor helpful in making sure that you will want to visit again. The negative google reviews and the establishment's response are reflection of that. They simply do not care.
The experience was memorable for sure, but not in a pleasant way because of the service. Considering how far it is to travel to get there and for the price, you'd expect decent friendliness or hospitality.

The tree top was realy great, the long walk to get to the start and return was a bit much for old people. There were lots of seats along the way to rest, which was a saving grace. Well worth a visit.
Paj Pwr — Google review
Amazing treetop walk, the walk took about an hour and a half with stops to read the information signs and also climb the tower for great views of the rainforest canopy. This is a great place to visit with the family, it's a pretty easy walk for younger kids or older members of the family. Bring a drink! The climb to the top of the tower can be challenging if you're not used to stairs so be prepared. The view is definitely worth it though. I would not recommend the climb if you are scared of heights! The tower does swat in the breeze and can be very unsettling if heights are a problem for you. If you are good with heights then I would recommend the cantilever, this little gem was not advertised but my kids loved it!
Sean Jacobs — Google review
If you are afraid of heights you won't like the treetop walk as it is very high and moves in the wind some. Nearly all the park is pram accessible though there are steep parts. You can hit the highlights in about 1-1.5hrs though 2 hrs would probably be better so you can take breaks if you need. Note the car park is 300m from the entrance so make sure you have everything before you leave your car and you calculate that in your visit time. There is no cell service in the area, but they do offer free Wifi at the entrance. Make sure you know opening hours too as they are closed part of the week. It's a nice park but not a must see unless you really want to be high in the trees. There are multiple trails nearby that give you that same rainforest feel for free (minus the treetop experience). The tower near the back of the park is very high up. Overall price is fairly low so we enjoyed it.
Greg Travassos — Google review
An awesome nature walk with a really fantastic view of the forest. The walkway provides such a unique sight of the forest that I haven't seen elsewhere. Although the soft swaying of the walkway and tower on a windy day can certainly make anyone nervous of height a bit angsty. The cantilever is especially daunting due to the more pronounced swaying.
Overall a fantastic spot for a day trip. Would highly recommend.
Haohan Liu — Google review
Second time coming here and it just keeps getting better. The first time coming here I was more interested about walking within the trees. But this time, reading the mini information boards along the walk I ended up learning so much. It's definitely a great place to come, but I would highly suggest coming when it first opens, because it gets busy really fast. Lastly, wear runners.

Came here with a group of boys and they all had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful and the walk was cleverly constructed to make it enjoyable to walk in the rainforest. Incredible scenery! A must visit if you are in Apollo Bay area.
Some areas are not for the faint hearted!
If you are afraid of heights take it slowly.
You can truly grasp the sheer size of the surrounding nature and how big and tall the trees really are when you go close to the top.
Make sure you book your tickets online in advance.
Also the entrance is a 300-meters walk from the car park so don't forget to bring all the necessary items.
Woo C — Google review
I got my tickets on a 40% off sale with a different site so that made the trip well worth it (myself and 2 kids). Quite a lot of walking involved, from the Carpark to the visitor centre and then getting to the tree top walk, the enchanted forest was an excellent addition for the kids. My 6 year old loved the activity book and had fun finding all the letters in the forest to unscramble the word and get a little prize.
The tree top walk itself is also nice. I wouldn’t say it’s anything spectacular if you’re a regular hiker, it’s just a nice different experience and family friendly, still worth going. And if you’re not a regular hiker then it’s definitely worth going. At the price I got the tickets for though I am more than happy with the experience and it was a nice little adventure for the kids.
There’s also plenty of signage letting you know how far you still have to go to the tower or back to the visitor centre which is great if you have little ones that are running low on energy.
Overall, a nice experience and family friendly.

This turned out to be much more than expected. Went only for Treetop walk. Thought it will be small walk but gladly the treetop walk had good length and the tower made it even better. Pretty safe for kids and Pram can go easily. Great views from the top. Also a big shout out to lovely bloke in their team who gave us a Buggy ride back to the centre as we were the last to leave the spot and had kids with us.

Walked in on a weekday afternoon and one from our group jumped on the zipline tour. Expensive but a unique experience. Walk through the forest is impressive. It is a fair loop ...probably 4-5kms and the walk back is uphill. Cafe and food facilities at entrance...coffee wasn't great. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful - especially the guys running the zip line.

Large cafe facilities available, but not enough staff to operate it.
Grab and go food options were a disappointment too only one vegan option; of old over coked falafels, swimming in a pool of hummus and a tiny bit of rocket.
My wife and kids had chicken sandwiches and wrap and no one was able to finish it. They were also disappointed.
There was plants of tables and chairs available and bins too, but no signs on bins so general waste and recycling was all mixed together.
I wish I could have left a better review, I was hoping for a better experience.

I will definitely recommend this place. The air is so fresh to breathe, the greenery, the raindrops and the birds chirping its just a place like heaven; very mesmerising for the soul. If you are a nature lover this is a place for you.
The reception staff Gauranga was very welcoming and friendly who offered us the buggy drop off and pick up for the nature walk(it was raining the whole time). Clare was very rude and unprofessional throughout my experience
thats the only reason I would give 4 stars for this place. She was least interested in her job and treated us like she was doing us a favour by being at the desk. (She didn’t send the buggy while we called on the number and she was very rude while assisting us during the tree surfing trial and was not happy with Gauranga assisting 4 people on the buggy even when it was safe to do so)
I tried the tea surfing and would really appreciate the patience and guidance from Libby. She was so helpful 🥰
Tree surfing was good and the whole experience was well supported.
The cafe here was less than average I would say. It’s worth watching the view outside the window at the cafe on the premise(could see heaps of different birds and flora and fauna)
Food is below average:-I got the sweet chilli wrap which was too salty, the fruit salad was good, chai latte was nothing out of the ordinary.
Highly recommend the walk .You would love the freshness in the air and nature at its best 🥰

What a remarkable place! The peaceful beauty envelops you as soon as you leave the car. This remnant cool rainforest is being preserved thanks to National Parks and lots of volunteers I suspect. This is a short, easy, stunning walk in the cool temperate rainforest of the Otway Ranges. The paths and walkways are well maintained and the signage is interesting and informative. Of particular significance are the hollow tree and the Mountain Ash. We were lucky to spot a Yellow Robin. It was a tranquil and peaceful stroll. As we returned to the car park, a very noisy group, talking at the top of their voices, were starting the loop. We were thankful to be leaving!

Visited in the morning at 11am. It was perfect and there are printed fun facts at multiple spots that provide interesting facts of certain plants and trees.
The walk wasn’t particularly difficult but may be a challenge for those with kids and elderly. The ground can be slippery at certain times when wet. And if it rains there is not much shelter so do check the weather before you go.

A really beautiful walk with huge ancient trees. We felt like we were in an oxygen tank because the air was so fresh. The walk is nicely maintained and I love the way they created areas to sit back and look up into the trees and enjoy a peaceful moment.

This is a must visit place. The air is so fresh and rich in nature’s smell. There are some oldest and rare trees which is preserved well. After a whole day in the sun, walking around great ocean road lookouts, I never thought I had the energy to take a walk. But, this place blew me away and it was very refreshing before a long drive back. It is an 800m walk and I am sure, at the end of the first loop, you would be tempted to take one more round.

About half way between Melbourne and 12 Apostles, this is a perfect stop to stretch your legs and have a wonderful hike in nature. Free to access, there are quite enough parking spots. The hike is a little under one kilometre and does not require any special gear, basically a walk in the park. Huge trees all around and lots of typical Australian vegetation. Didn't see much wildlife except some birds but the watch for meat eating snails not to step on.
If you take The Great Ocean Road don't miss this stop.

Such a beautiful, serene and atmospheric nature trail! I loved listening to the sounds of the birds and the creek as I walked through the moody trees!
Though we visited on a warm day, the temperature was quite cool here due to the shadiness of the trees and evapotranspiration.
Suitable for beginners. The trail is mostly flat with a few slopes. It took us 15-20 minutes to complete it at a leisurely pace (not a long trail at all).
Ample parking available.

Stopped in for a quick beer. The stout and IPA are real tasty, and I'm someone who doesn't usually go for those beers. We got some takeaways as well, and they were great to have around the campfire later that day. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly and accommodating staff :)
Was excelente and 2ven better than the pictures, I'm definitely going back because that day was si hot and to many tourists. But the place is really amazing.

Everyone knows it's beautiful, marvelous and one of the absolute place to go go one. And that's how I felt exactly, it was amazing.
There are many beautiful pictures out there to explain about this place, but looking through my eyes was one of the best way to understand the beauty.

Mesmerising place and I loved it. I would say a must to do place for tourist if you are in Melbourne.. Loved each and every spots.. I covered 12 apostles in helicopter - wonderful ride, you should choose the front row.. to get the maximum wonderful view. I took tour bus with small group since that is economical and I am a single traveller, if not taking a car is good option. When you start from Melbourne you should take the left side seat of the bus to see the scenic ocean view in travel or of you are more of a mountain person, take seat on right side. But I would say Melbourne to 12 apostles take left seat and return take right side seat.

If you had a chance visiting Melbourne, do not skip this one, magical and lovely. I went at summer and spend time here till sunset, strong wind, cold and worth the drive. Free parking & public toilet. Hats off to the Victoria Government.

This is a 100km plus multi day walk, which you can do in stages, as there are pick up points with road access along the way. Fantastic beaches and wild rugged coastline, plus beautiful tall eucalyptus forests. You can do it all yourself or get one of the many tourist operators to assist with transport, food and accommodation.

Absolutely incredible walk. We did four days worth and every day was different. The camp sites has drop toilets and are well spaced. Parts of the walk can be very steep, and there is a decent amount of sand walking to be aware of. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the hidden places you would normally miss.

A great walk for experienced hikers, it's not too challenging if you plan carefully and avoid the river crossings when the tide is high.
Probably not for new hikers as you do need to carry 8 days of food which can be heavy, but it's unique for hike of this length in that you are never too far from a bailout point if something goes wrong.

Amazing place, on so many levels..
A 360 degree view of the district, on a volcanic scoria hill.
The view is fantastic, and you can see just how big the lakes are, and the view is just amazing.
Access: drive west out of Colac and follow the signs. A tip.. dont fang it... most of the roads are 100, but there are a great number of 80 and 60 zones.
Once you make the turn off, the road is single lane tar all the way, with a sealed parking area.
For the adventurous, there is a 25m set of steps to the summit.
Facilities: no toilets or water.
Wheelchair access to the carpark.
Hazard: snake hazard exists.
Beware of high fire danger days, as the grass is right to the edge of the carpark and the summit.

Great vista from high up on top of the range. A geographical marvel - this area was formed by volcanic eruptions, creating the many pools some dry, some filled with water.
Also of historical significance as this is around here where William Buckley, the convict who escaped lived with the Wathaurong indigenous tribe for 32 years .

Incredible views from this old volcanic vent. This and several other vents have erupted on and off right up to 4000yrs ago. They flooded the area with basalt covering the old gold bearing river valleys. They blocked rivers, forming the huge lakes in the area. Today, there is a free car park with fab views on top of the Red Rock vent. Best time to visit is the evening with the sun setting, which picks out the structural features and creates reflections off the waters.

Nice lookout over the lakes and surrounding dormant volcanic craters. There's a couple of interpretive panels about what you're seeing, as well as Buckley's journey in the area. No facilities available.
Pretty amazing to be standing on the edge of a volcano's wall, and the surrounding red rocks are testament to that.
Worth a visit, I can imagine sunrise and sunset would both be wonderful up here.
Marriner's Lookout is a must-visit spot along the Great Ocean Road, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Apollo Bay, the hinterland, and the ocean. It's a short ten-minute walk from the car park to reach this hilltop viewpoint. The lookout was generously donated by a private family for all to enjoy. The hike up is surrounded by beautiful trees and lush greenery, making it an enjoyable experience.

Great view at any time of the day. If you’re stopping Apollo Bay, go more than once to get the different vibes.
If you’re passing by, it’s a quick stop and maybe a manageable 6-8mins hike.
Once there, there’s wide open space for everyone e to get their own vantage view.

Love this lookout that donated by private family! Thanks to their contribution so we all can enjoy such a nice hike and beautiful view. 10 mins hike from the parking area you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Apollo city and the whole costal area leading to Lorne. Enjoy so much of the view and the wind… the walk up greeted by beautiful grown trees and lush of green. Came here in winter time and believe spring time would be even beautiful as flower would be blossoming I think..!

We enjoyed this short, easy walk - about 10 mins along a clear path in good condition - to the top of the hill which overlooks Apollo Bay. There is no viewing platform. The path ends as a grassed area is reached. From this grassy patch, there are panoramic views across the bay and beyond.

For anyone passing through the Great Ocean Road, don't miss Marriner's Lookout! It's the highest point in Apollo Bay, offering panoramic views of the entire town, the Great Ocean Road, and the coastline beyond. There's free parking, but spaces are limited. It's especially beautiful in the evening for sunset views. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes, as the gravel path can get a bit slippery from mountain spring water.👟

This is one of the better ropes courses I have done. The facilities are basic but the courses on offer will challenge anyone up for it. Very reasonably priced and not too much of a diversion from the road from Melbourne to Apollo Bay. Well worth the visit.

It's adventurous and fun, equipment is pretty good and safety given priority by staff. Segregation happens by age which is not quite right as some kids are tall and some small, if you kids are tall then ask them to place them in next level. It's better if they start Segregation according to height like most of the amusement parks.

An adventurous place for both kids and adults. If you like a bit of adventure and excitement then this place is for you. Kids above 3 years can go for it. For 3-5 years of kids please keep in mind they might need constant support from an adult as there are some safety measures needs to be taken . Kids above 5 also need an adult for supervision but they will be able to do the tasks themselves. Check the rates on their site. There are no cafe around so good to take your own food . A 2 hr drive from Melbourne.

I loved the price, the experience and the service!
The challenge and freedom of so many available courses and the time allowed (enough to do 4 to 5 of them) was far more than I expected.

Renae and Khy were great giving us equipment and training and Jess was outstanding helping us out of any tricky situations on the courses.
Thanks everyone for a great experience.

Really positive attitude. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When you go there make sure to carry water for yourself.
Near this river there is one stretch of roads where there are many colorful birds. We heard that there are also wild koalas near there too. But we did not manage to spot any on the trees. Bring some bird feeds so that u can take a picture with the birds!
Yingying — Google review
I just had to find wild koalas during my trip to Australia and based on web reviews, I figured this would be one of the best chances I had. When we pull into the parking areas the first things we see are kookaburras, ducks, parrots, and cockatoos everywhere. As I am taking photos the birds land on my head to perch twice (I did not have any feed at all with me, and birds tend to bite me so I had no intention of getting that close, but it made for some fun photos). When the busses leave, the birds calm down and stay in the trees awaiting the next group of bird-seed carrying tourists. My husband and I decide to walk up the road to spot koalas and sure enough we see several of them sleeping in the crooks of the trees. As we are coming back down, another tour group is there and everyone is pointing. Sure enough there is a koala sleeping right next to the path at the very start of the trailhead and we had just missed it the first time. Made for some fantastic close-up photos (using my telephoto lens). Also there is a walk by the river on the other side of the shop that had lots of informational signs about the wildlife of the region. We had a great time seeing the native animals in the wild.
Erskine Falls, located in the heart of Lorne, is a well-known 30-meter waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy scenic views from two lookout points, with the option to descend 222 steps for a closer look at the cascading water from the lower Erskine Falls lookout. The falls offer an idyllic escape with tranquil atmosphere and opportunities for both relaxation and adventurous hikes amidst stunning scenery.
A definite visit if in the area!
Erskine Falls has two viewing platforms (a high and low), a river trail and open to get up close to the falls.
The lower viewing platform is via a 220m steep decent, so be prepared for the walk back up.
The upper viewing platform is an easy 80m flatish walk.
🚗 Small car park and there is no parking restrictions on the road shoulder on the way in.
Local guide tips:
-Come in the afternoon to avoid crowds and easier to get a park.
-Wear water shoes if you have them.

Recently visited Erskine Falls and was mesmerized by its beauty and tranquility. The falls cascade down a steep cliff in three tiers, with a deep pool of water at the bottom. The viewing platform at the top of the falls provides an incredible view of the falls and the lush greenery of the Otway National Park. The walk down to the bottom of the falls is easy, and the pool of water is perfect for swimming and relaxing. The area around the falls is full of wildlife. The falls are also a great spot for photography, with its unique vantage point and the stunning scenery. I highly recommend visiting Erskine Falls if you're ever in the area. It's a truly spectacular sight and a great way to spend an afternoon and make sure to wear appropriate shoes.

As you descend down the winding road towards the car park, the fresh air and rich oxygen fills your lungs. It only gets better when you walk the remainder of the way down to the bottom of the waterfall via the descending steps. Also the natural stone steps are a good upgrade over the previous wooden ones which were rotting away into the mud and causing a slippery slope.
ahmet turkmen — Google review
The hike is around 24km and is a good mix of track and river crossings. Will need to have correct clothing and footwear as you will need to duck, possibly crawl under some trees as well as walk long fallen trees used as a way of crossing some sections not to mention slippery rocks. Great hike and plenty of spots to take photos. If the hiking track isn't your thing you can always park at the Erskine Falls car park and walk 5 minutes down to the viewing platform.

For those who say The Great Ocean Road is only about a drive along the beautiful ocean, please visit this Erskine Falls..
Lovely location.. 👌
Beautiful drive.. easy and more than enough free parking spaces available..
Only 220m walking trail downhill to reach the hidden spot.. definitely worth a visit.. coming back up is pretty challenging despite the short distance..
Those who need assistance, the upper lookout point which is hardly 80m downhill is also not bad..
Don't miss this serene beauty..

My faves of the waterfalls/river walks in the area... beautiful and the river walk looks amazing! We only the first 10 mins... the full walk is a grade 4, 3 hour one way hike, so decided we'd come back for it, but if you love to explore, this is one for you... it's not an easy track, but has multiple river crossings and a fun track with rocks and tree roots to clamber over.
Pack good hiking shoes and water if doing the walk!

Get ready to climb approx 244 steps after viewing the magnificent view of Erskine falls. It's fun to go close to the waterfall but you have to be very careful. Very slippery surface. Beautiful!! We went on a bit of a rainy day during a weekday so it was a bit quieter, absolute feeling of peace and serenity and you could hear the rain, waterfall and birds. The lower lookout was closed due to stairs being unsafe, but the upper still provided a wonderful view.

Erskine Falls, though not the largest waterfall, offers a stunning natural setting that's absolutely worth a visit. Parking your car and taking an easy 5-minute walk will lead you to the upper viewing platform. For those who enjoy a bit of adventure, you can venture further down to the lower platform. Be prepared for damp conditions, so wearing sneakers is advisable. The parking lot here is relatively small, so finding a spot during peak seasons can be a challenge.

Beautiful waterfall visited by many. Fairly steep descent down a flight of steps to reach the viewing platform. From the viewing platform, most people will step across a series of rocks over the water to get right to the base of the waterfall for a close-up view. The climb back up the steps to the carpark can be challenge.

Erskine Falls is one of many waterfalls I visited in Victoria.
A short diversion from the Great Ocean Road and around 15 minutes from Lorne. Parking close to the 30metre cascade, or have fun as part of a long walk via lush rainforest.
The lookout point has scenic views and it is recommended to visit with your family.
Easy to walk in but was crowded when we went there.

Amazing falls with steps down to two look outs, higher lookout about 40 steps down and lower lookout about 230 steps down. Steepish descent down to Car park with plenty of spaces. There's a warning that coaches shouldn't go down. Can climb over some rocks to cross over shallows to get to the waterfalls. Absolutely worth it!

Warned about the bus loads of people at busy times, we headed to the falls at 5:30pm and had the place to ourselves. There are some steps down to the top platform, but the best views come from the lower viewing area, just you have to climb the 100s of steps back up. There are a few benches to rest weary feet.

This is located in Great Otway National Park and you can visit on your way to Port Campbell. We visited here on our way to 12 Apostles. The waterfall is beautiful and it's very short walk to see the fall. The pathway that leads near to the fall is closed. But you can see the beauty of the fall from far away after a very short walk. Don't miss this waterfall and add to your list to Great Ocean Road road trip.

Erskine Falls in Lorne is a stunning waterfall, nestled in lush greenery. It's accessible via a well-maintained track, though the descent can be a bit steep with a lot of steps, so be prepared for a bit of a workout on the way back up. Erskine falls are one of the best waterfalls in Victoria. The falls are easily accessible and there is sufficient parking available. The first view point is not far away from the parking but the view isn't great. The next one is about 150m down and it is worth going there. It might be a bit hard to come back up for people requiring assistance. There is railing and a few benches on the steps.

The waterfall didn't have much water flowing, but the atmosphere was still serene and calming. Teddy’s Lookout in Victoria, along the Great Ocean Road, is indeed a beautiful spot to pause and admire the breathtaking water views. The vista overlooking the ocean is truly magnificent, offering a tranquil respite amidst the natural beauty of the region.
While the view is undeniably stunning, it may not hold the same level of uniqueness or novelty as some other landmarks along the Great Ocean Road. Nevertheless, it’s definitely worth stopping for a few minutes to soak in the scenery and capture some memorable photos before continuing your journey.
Overall, Teddy’s Lookout is a worthwhile stop for anyone traveling along the Great Ocean Road, providing a scenic backdrop that perfectly encapsulates the allure of this iconic coastal route.

The lookout provided the view of Bass Strait. The view was amazing. There are multiple lookouts starting from Teddy’s lookout. You can spot koala bears if you are lucky enough to see them. Save it on your trip to Great Ocean Road.

Great little viewing spot at Lorne.
Easy for kids and the elderly to access.
And if your keen there are a few tracks to walk aswel.
Definitely recommend if your in the area or passing through, it's worth the stop.

One of my favorite spots on the great ocean road. We always come here when we visit. The views are spectacular and there is usually lots of wildlife around. Make sure to continue to the second lookout point which is just an extra 3 minute walk but the views are even better.

Hike, Hydrate and just take a deep breadth. This place is beyond words on a sunny day!! You can actually see inside of the ocean from this height. This is the kind of place you should go before make an important life decision 😄! Cheers 🍻

Fantastic look out at the back of Lorne.
A few tables along the short path to the lookout if you want a picnic.
This is also the beginning of a few walks in the area that head down into the valley.
Would possibly be a good lookout for whale spotting during their migration.
Road towards the end gets a bit tight for 2 cars, exercise caution, but plenty of parking available.

Just refreshing sights, if you are lucky to have a clear sky, this place will make you smile for sure. Photos don’t do justice to what awaits your eyes. Nice pit stop in Lorne, if you are doing Great ocean drive from Melbourne side. Few minutes walk from car park. Visited on a weekend and had nominal crowd. Kids friendly, mostly flat walkways. Ample parking spots. Roofed area, just incase if it rains. Sign boarding with info. Must visit, if you are in Lorne.
Sandy stretch popular for surfing, home to a restaurant pavilion & wellness center.
Lorne has a nice long beach, a couple of toilet blocks and outside showers to rinse. Plenty of parking but can get super busy on hot weekends and holidays.
Fairly reliable surf and safe swimming near the life saving club when the flags are out. You can walk along the coast up to the pier via either the beach or walking track. About 1km.

It’s 1.5 hours away from our place, the drive itself is amazing via great ocean roads. But its zigzag. So make sure who ever is driving is properly rested.
The views at the beach are stunning. Ample of food options, but public bathrooms and toilets not so good.
It was really crowded, as we went on 1st Jan , since the beach os huge, so social distance was easy to maintain. Over all good experience. You can do bbq there too.

, breathtaking and exhilarating the least to say!!!! What a great experience!!! Even gathering at the launch, getting to know people in such a friendly environment makes the flight more precious ! Joel is such an awesome pilot that I have had 3 tandems with him so far and have referred him to friends and family too. I will definitely have more tandems in the future down there as the Great Ocean Road scenery is absolutely spectacular from the air!

My partner and I had a great experience with Dave over the Easter break. I'm not great with heights but was willing to give this a go as it was something my partner really enjoys. Dave really made me feel comfortable before we went up and steps you through everything during the flight. My partner got the thrill seeking experience she was looking for too! Well worth booking with these guys.

I am have a rather severe fear of heights, but you can`t go though life being afraid of things. Having always wanted to try paragliding, my wife arranged a flight with this crew. We did get bumped a couple of time due to bad weather, but totally understandable. The pilot called and texted several times to discuss the weather and to rearrange flights. Very helpful.
While I was understandably nervous, having met the pilot and having a chat put me at ease right away. Lots (years) of experience and a calm and cool attitude coaxed me into a harness and before I knew it, I was flying!
Knowing I am not good with heights, the pilot took it easy. First 5 min were terrifying!!, but after I calmed my brain down, I had a most fantastic flight! Felt safe every second. Up there among to top 5 most amazing things I have ever done!
Would I recommend? Of course! Would so fly with this crew again anytime!

My two daughters (13 & 14) flew tandem with Joel and it absolutely exceeding their expectations beyond belief. More importantly he put them at ease! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Such a wonderful experience here today. Honestly, it could not have been better with this kind, knowledgeable, friendly helper, Joel. Joel gave me such an unforgettable paragliding experience. Even before the flight, he gave me a car ride to the paragliding site, kindly guided me through the instructions and gave me this thrilling flight experience.
He organised the flight in a very safe way, carefully watching the forecast to the last minute so that absolutely no one is at risk.
It was my first experience for me and knew nothing about paragliding, but I could keep calm with him cz he was such a reliable helper. I am sincerely grateful for him to give me this ultimate experience.

SUPER TOP EXPERIENCE😍😍
I normally don't leave reviews but I am really taking my time with this and Joel, as I want to ensure this guy gets the credit he truly deserves.
I bought a flight for my partner's birthday as a surprise (and of course fly myself too lol). The whole experience has been incredibly smooth, hassle-free and unforgettable by all means. Joel is a very cool guy who definitely knows what he’s doing. I appreciated very much safety being always on his mind as we had to change day/time and slightly location, but he made sure it happened and it was safe to do so. He explained everything throughout and always ensured we were ok while up in the sky. We were kept way longer and still being charged the same price. Everything was just so much fun.
Do yourself a favour: have this experience ticked off your bucket list and go to this business.
A truly still excited THANK YOU from both of us 😊😊

What an amazing experience. I had the pleasure of flying with Joel and felt comfortable and safe the whole time.
Joel is an experienced pilot who effortlessly explains the overall flight process and makes you feel at ease from the moment you meet him.
He also ensured I had an amazing flight. I am not sure if he has connections above, however, we could not have picked a better day. The weather was perfect.
Having grown up near the Great Ocean Road and spent many hours admiring this beautiful coastline, it was brilliant to see it first hand from a birds eye view.
I would highly recommend this experience and, if you can, fly with Joel. He is a local and knows the area like the back of his hand.

Joel is knowledgeable, approachable and easygoing. There was excellent communication when we were delayed due to bad weather. Victorian history came alive when we visited last weekend. After a very good intro by Shandra, Dough, a local volunteer, offered a guided tour which we thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. His knowledge of many important historical details really made the place come alive and took us back in time. Each room had its own particulars and secrets. After the tour we wondered through the mansion again with different eyes. Thank you Dough & all at Barwon Park Mansion.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting Split Point Lighthouse during my Great Ocean Road adventure! Nestled in the charming town of Aireys Inlet, this historic beacon is a true gem of Victoria's coastline. Despite the brisk winds and chilly air, the sight of this iconic structure against the backdrop of the rugged coastline took my breath away. The lighthouse's rich history, dating back to 1891, adds an extra layer of fascination to the visit. The knowledgeable guides provided fascinating insights into the lighthouse's operation and significance, making the tour both educational and engaging. The panoramic views from the top were simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse of the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the area. Whether you're a history buff, nature lover, or simply seeking an unforgettable experience along the Great Ocean Road, a visit to Split Point Lighthouse is an absolute must!

$10 for a self-guided tour. You can purchase online or pay by cash or card at the site. Walk to the top of the lighthouse and take in the view. You can stay as long as you like. Lots of memorabilia and interesting facts line the inside walls of the lighthouse. A fantastic view of Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven and the Great Ocean Road. We really enjoyed. I hear you can’t bring children under five.

131 Year old,
34 Meters tall,
136 steps to climb.
This 131 year old lighthouse is a must visit if you are around the area.
We recently took the Aireys Inlet lighthouse tour and was very happy with the experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and explained to us all the untold stories behind it. The views from the top of the lighthouse were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is in the area and wants to learn more about the history of the lighthouse and the surrounding area. The tour is a great way to spend an hour and get some fresh air and exercise while taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, we had a wonderful time on the tour and would recommend to others.
PS.
Take your own time and read all the small stories and titbits posted around the lighthouse walls.

It was the friendly and very knowledgable ladies (one stationed at the base of the light house and one at the top) who made this visit interesting and worthwhile. Besides, of course, the amazing views! Entry was very reasonably priced at $10 per person. There were 136 stairs to the top. We enjoyed learning about the history of the lighthouse.
There are some viewing platforms at the foot of the lighthouse, but the views are nowhere near as spectacular.
We turned off the Great Ocean Road onto Inlet Crescent and kept left around the lake. Then turned left onto Lighthouse Road and left again at the top where there was a large area for parking. The walk from the car park along Federal Street to the lighthouse is reasonably level. En route is the Lighthouse Tearoom.

A small trek up to the Lighthouse and its definitely worth it. Climb to the top for $10 and take in 360 views. We didn't climb it as the half the top was closed to gale force winds, but others did.
U can also walk out to the various looking points as well.

Well worth a visit to a (still working) lighthouse. Guides have great information to share, easy going and willing to chat - and the views are awesome (my camera pics don't do the views and information justice).
Entry price is more than fair.
Made me also appreciate the hardship our early settlers, ships crews and others went through compared with what we have today. Loved it the visit - and will probably do again as so much information to see and I was on a tight schedule.

Beautiful part of the world, with magnificent ocean vistas.
There are now three easily accessible viewing platforms around the lighthouse, affording more stunning views of Eagle Rock, the small beaches directly below on one side and further extensive sights down the coast on the other.
A must do at Airey's Inlet.
Make sure to visit The Lighthouse Tea Rooms, only metres away, for a delicious array of savoury and sweet offerings.

As we journey along the winding Great Ocean Road, our drone’s lens captures the majestic Split Point. Here, nature’s artistry carves an awe-inspiring coastline, where each rock and wave tells a tale of the sea. Perched on the edge of steep cliffs, the iconic Red Cap Lighthouse commands attention—not only as a beacon for sailors but as a symbol of this marine expanse.
The camera rises to reveal the full splendor of Split Point—the tumultuous ocean waves clash with the serene sands, showcasing nature’s dual personality. Circling the lighthouse, the drone captures its solitary figure against the backdrop, painting a stirring image.
Each frame is poetry, each second surges with emotion. Don’t hesitate to share this video; let’s uncover the mysteries and beauty of Split Point and the Red Cap Lighthouse together. On the Great Ocean Road, every step is a new discovery, every flight a new chapter.

If you are venturing down the Great Ocean Road you simply must stop and climb the Lighthouse. The views from the top are spectacular not to mention the lovely and knowledgeable staff that can chat to you about the history and even some tips to help the confidence of those who might be a little nervy with heights. Super nostalgic thinking about 'The Round the Twist' crew and the amazing show that it was to watch growing up, you wont be disappointed to walk the little way from the carpark to reach the Lighthouse. We were blessed with wonderful weather although there was a slight breeze it was nothing hair raising. Photo credit to the lovely staff member to snapped our family so we could all be in a photo together - Thank you.

The aspect of the Cellar Door is as luscious as the 2017 & 2019 vintage wines ranging from a definitive cold climate Sauvignon Blanc to straight Shiraz or Shiraz blends. If they conduct business as horrible as the guy driving the Ute that has their company's logo on it, then I suggest going to another place. Disgusting and not a good look for the business.

We had a relaxing birthday celebration here. The setting was beautiful, the roses made a lovely backdrop for photos. The wine tasting was spread out over the afternoon along with the food which resulted in us staggering out carrying our favourite wines. The Cab Franc was a favourite with us all. The small children spent the afternoon running and playing in between platters of food. A bit of a drive but well worth the trip. Be prepared not to rush, sit back, relax and enjoy the wine and scenery.

Great wine set amongst the most beautiful scenery, topped off with a genuine and kind host (and dog). I visited here with a group of girls last Saturday and loved it. Tim has a great knack for making wine and sharing his love for the whole process, evidenced by him naming the wines after his children. If you love a homely, genuine vibe in a setting where the owner helps you to connect with the land's history and unique wine varieties - give this place a go. The quality of the wine is top notch, isn't mass produced and is affordably priced!
