Rhodes is a large island located in the east Aegean Sea and the historical capital of the Dodecanese islands. It is well-known for its Colossus of Rhodes, as well as its beautiful old town. The island is home to many cultural and archaeological sites, as well as sandy beaches and pubs.
Old Rhodes town e lindos worth the visit tô Rhodes

The old town of Rhodes is excellent. You are living in history with knights and Kings and feel the stories of the periods .

Rhodes is a paradise in the Greek islands. With beautiful sandy beaches, historic ruins and stunning landscapes, it's the ultimate destination for a relaxing getaway. There's something for everyone, from delicious Greek food to nightlife, to adventure sports like hiking and water activities. It will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Great and unexpected gem for us travelling all around the world. Check all my other reviews around the island.
Our top 5 places:
1. Paralia Prasonisiou
2. Old city of Rhodes but get lost from known streets and visit public market.
3. Archangelos Cave next to Grande Blue. Still hidden gem
4. Profitis ilias" Monastery
5. Kallithea Springs
We have been during low season so expericne may vary :) there is no uber and bolt in 2021. But car rental is a must. Cheap and easy. Nowhere in the world I have seen car rentals with such good rating.

The old town is something to behold... A great piece of preserved history.. Some very nice, well sourced restaurants amongst the standard tourist traps... But if you avoid the places with food pics outside your pretty good

Wow!! I had never heard about Rhodes prior to visiting this island but I will surely never forget the amazing day spent exploring one of Greece’s true gems. We landed at the port of Rhodes and from the first step on this stunning island you can instantly feel a sense of safety and serenity. The old town castle boasts some amazing shopping, and the beaches are among the best in the world. It’s very easy to get around by foot/Uber/Taxi, the people are extremely friendly, and the food is outstanding. Our family can’t wait to revisit this island and further explore all it has to offer ❤️.

One of the best summer vacation ever, the town is beautiful, great food, beautiful beaches despite the fact that Rodos Town doesn't have sandy beaches and the Old Town is a must see, at least one time in your life. Lindos is superb,Lindos beach and Tsambika beach are superb, this island is a must do.

If you like history this spot is awesome!...you're here in the middle of it. It's a steap climb but there are donkeys you could use to get up and down.
Many different concurors have left their marks...but luckely haven't whipeout all of the others...somethimes they found a different purpose!

A magical and varied island, full of deep historical architecture and rich welcoming culture. The food and wine was excellent, whether we ate simple local food or went high end. I had very little idea how liveable it would feel, as the old town has everything one could need to be comfortable. A slower simpler pace of living is possible here, and we were lucky to have stayed with a wonderful warm family that shared home cooked delights with us. We also found it easy to travel around and go to other islands. The weather is perfect for me as it’s hot yet breezy so I would recommend it to those who also enjoy that kind of feel.

One of the best Greek Islands you can visit in the Aegean Sea. Fun filled ! Steeped in history. Great sand beaches in the east of the island. Wind surfing and water sports in the north and west of the island. Loads and loads of hotels , restaurants and watering holes !! Enjoy late night fun at Faliraki !!

It's a great place to visit for lots of sunshine and great food. I'm gluten free and had no issues getting appropriate meals. I hired a car for four days and felt safe driving. I also took a couple of boat trips, one around the harbour and one to Symi. Rhodes is a great place for solo travellers, couples and families. It has something for everyone.

Very pleasant walks around the fortress and the old part of the city. He conjures up the history of this place and the entire island.

When I got down from my cruise, I got down into a trashy place, like the bad parts of the old town, but the next things make it a 5 star place.
There are very nice people.
I enjoyed the souvlaki and gyros there.
There are many places to see and the market and bazaar are nice.(advice: the market has souvenir shops with pornographic souvenirs, so make sure your kids don't see that).
Everything is pretty cheap in Rhodes and quality items are cheap.
I highly recommend you to visit Rhodes 😄😀😃😉

Really beautiful place. Visited with my daughter (right), but the trip guide (left) wouldn't stop giving 15 minute monologues after I asked her about the history of the place.

Akbük is a beautiful beach with wonderful views and definitely gorgeous sea and mountain. You can swim in every shade of green and blue in a few strokes. Very kid friendly, Nice restaurants and cafes for food and drinks. Heated showers is a big winner.People camp there too which cost 15 usd-50 usd for tend and it will be cheaper if we have our own tend.since its a seasonal operating place during summer june-sep I think the things are little expensive so its better to buy the stuffs before going there . mini bus available from mugla bus station and akyaka which cost around 3 - 5 usd suggested to have a day trip to enjoy the serenity of beach .
Binoy K M — Google review
I had a good experience in akbük but i heard that it used to be more relaxing and beautiful over there but now its too crowded and not that good if you just want to chill out.
There's a beautiful forest there too but the fire department won't let you camp there unfortunately. And if you want to camp you either should find a place before actually getting to akbük or you have to camp in the campsites which are too crowded and in my opinion awful ! And overpriced
sara haeri — Google review
From Akyaka it is almost 50 min distancr by car, a challenging Road but a hidden town by the sea and Mountain. Clean sea and perfect nature

Be ready for very loud music for the whole day until 12, especially well heared if you are on a yacht. Worst mooring experience in Turkey so far

One of the perfect place to have rest and swim. Still not commercial and “touristic”. Some sea side hotels and restaurants are occupying the beach but still it’s kind of “vlrgin” place for holiday.
İsmail Şiriner — Google review
View and the sea is beatiful but so crowded and a litkle bit expensive if you want to have seabed and umbrella and while you are sunbathing cars are passing around you this is bad
sinan veziroğlu — Google review
Great bay with clean water and amazin nature. Having a camping site is a plus!
gokmen ucok — Google review
The water is amazing and worth a visit. There are a few small open air places that will serve you food and drinks. Paid 10try to park but worth every penny to swim in these waters. The beach is small but they sell chairs and umbrellas if needed but you dont come here to sit on the beach. I wish i had diving equipment with me.

The Caunos Tombs of the Kings offer stunning views from Dalyan and boat tours in the lagoon. To get a closer look, visitors can cross to the Candir side and take a short walk or use a tractor in summer. Despite arriving to find it closed, some travelers were allowed in by the gatekeeper, giving them exclusive access to explore the site. The tombs themselves are off-limits but can be admired from the boardwalk.
Very beautiful and historic tombs set into the mountain. Enjoyed a boat trip along the river down to the Turtle Beach. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the tombs. Excellent part of history!
Daniel Morgan — Google review
Couldn't go up the hill through the main entrance maybe due to the tombs being closed to the public in the off-season but was able to get a good view of the tombs from inside the local cemetery.

Really amazing sight, as well as the tombs it's recommended to visit the ancient city too.

Tombs of the Kings 🤴⚰️🥀💀
Absolutely phenomenal set of ruins overlooking a small river as it runs out into the Aegean Sea 🤩🤩🤩
A good Turkish friend of mine I met in Antalya back in November told me about these ruins... He is a tour guide for Turkey and knows his country like the back of his hand 🇹🇷🖐️💜
I was seriously excited about checking these tombs out for the last few months. Sadly when we showed up they were locked up and looked as though they had been closed for quite some time.... We took this opportunity to do a lil B&E aaaaaand we ain't talkin' bout no bacon and eggs here fam 🥓🍳😛
Up close and personal with these ruins they are astonishing! A sheer rock mountain face carved into incredibly ornate tombs fit for a king!!! All the small details over the doorway and cut into the columns are quite spectacular 👌👌👌
It's insane to me that these tombs were carved by a hand out of stone and now look something like small houses completely detached from the surrounding rock except for the floor that they sit on... This is like ancient CNC machining done by hand with a chisel and hammer 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
This place did not disappoint and I'm soooooo glad we spent some extra time just sitting here gazing up at this ancient wonder 🔍🤠💕💗💕💗💕
Nate Allen — Google review
I will not able to give 5 stars because you can not go up hill and walk inside since the entrance is closed. Maybe someone can give us a tip about how to climb up there but that will be illegal. I managed to go as close as possible through the cemetery to take photos. There are small boats 🚣♀️ at the end that will take you to the other side of the river. They are run by women.

Beautiful, Dalyan is already great. What a history, really worth seeing. We were taken to the coast and back up again in a tractor, 300 lira no matter how many people. Nice man who also gives you credit, saw some donkeys along the way.
Rita Jöner — Google review
Quite the adventure. We arrived and the place was closed. Like a ghost town, so my Turkish wife asked the gate keeper what was up. My kids and I thought we'd be out of luck, but much to our surprise the gate keepwr let us in! We had the place to ourselves! Strange everything was closed even the bathrooms and there were no cameras.
As we had the place to ourselves we walked around, read the signs, and took somw really cool pics. Obviously, access to the tombs themselves were chained off, so we kept to the boardwalk. All told we spent 10 to 15 minutes there. Awesome experience!
Some suggestions: if possible rent a car (especially if you have kids). In the end, it will be cheaper than booking tours. You get to go faster and you can stay as long as you like. The roads are safe and people friendly. Google maps will guide you to wherever you want to go.

We climbed up the big hill with the theatre at 8am. It didn't open till 08.30 but just paid on the way out. I think this was just past the Tombs and the graveyard. Amazing views and beautiful place.

Breathtaking place, have made hiking directly till these tombs and theres opening really great view to city

This was part of a visit to turtle beach. We didn’t actually visit the tombs as this is a separate excursion. But we had a great view from our boat as we went past
Shane Butler — Google review
Gorgeous Carian rock tombs carved on high cliff face, breathtaking but hard to see since to be able to look at them you'll have to enter a modern city cemetery, the main spot to view them is locked behind a metal gate that is padlocked and left to rot it seems.
Dalyan canal, (Dalyan Strait) , is a stream that carries the waters of Köyceğiz Lake to the sea , located in the province of Muğla , and is the lake's conduit . Its length is 10 km. The waters coming out of the lake reach the sea by drawing meanders. Approximately the last 5 km of Dalyan flows within the Dalyan Delta. To the east of the Dalyan canal, the town of Dalyan in the Ortaca district is established. The area is within the borders of the Köyceğiz-Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area , which was the first in Turkey in 1988.

Stunning scenery, highly recommend the River trip to turtle beach.
Kaunos, an ancient city established in the 9th century BC, was a significant Carian settlement by 400 BC, reflecting the cultural aspects of both Lycia and Caria. It comprises various structures including tombs carved into mountainsides. The well-preserved theatre on the left as you enter offers an impressive view of the surrounding countryside while remnants of acropolis exist on the hill above it.
Great place the history of this place is great the stones are still standing as well as the other ruins. It can get very hot as the place is very open so would advise plenty of water and a hat.
WattoPhotos — Google review
Fascinating ancient area with 2.5 thousand year old tombs carved into solid cliff rockface. Then there are the ruins, particularly the amphitheatre with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean.
Peter Zeegers — Google review
Access to the site is terrible, the paths are not really at all maintained. Very few information on the site, but the whole ruin is pretty good, on top of a hill, and a whole fortress high up with a wall that circles another hill.
Theatre is pretty well preserved, you can still see the donkey show!
Burak Bayrakdar — Google review
Lovely walk up from the river. The ongoing excavation is uncovering more of this fascinating place. Watch out for the tortoises as well. Great views from here
Mark Quinnell — Google review
Excellent archaeological site. Lots to see and it's in great condition. You can get a rowboat from the Dock and its 40lira for 2 people. (You only need to pay to cross there, its free on the way back, but do leave the ladies a tip) the walk itself is not a hard walk, it is hilly, best to walk on a morning as its cooler, also the site itself is open air ofcourse so it gets super hot up there.
You can walk to the Fort at the top of the mountain but it's not for the faint of heart.
The Amphiteatre is amazing and the views from the top of this is unmatched.
Danielle Dennis — Google review
A must visit if you are in the area. History all around you and stunning views also.
Stuart Jennings — Google review
Visited in late August 2021. Took ferry (with car - 23TL each way) from Dalyan ferribot and then drove the 1.5km to the site. You can also drive around (90 mins), or go as a foot passenger. Not much parking but enough. Wear trainers. Small shop inside if want to buy drinks/snacks. Enough shade if hot. Allow about 90 mins to explore. A few information boards in English too. Great photo opportunities. You get a real sense of antiquity.
Paul and Karen Blakesley — Google review
Very good experience. It was very convenient to have a ferry that took us across from dalyan to the Kaunos side. Kaunos is kept clean, very well maintained and pleasant to explore.
Shishira Thomas — Google review
Great place to visit nice walk to get to it there is a bit of a hill but it's at the very top of a mountain
jb657 — Google review
A nice place to visit for sure. The best way how to reach it is via a tiny ferry boat from Dalian that is super cheap (around 2€ for a car). You will pay cash.
The site itself is nice but there are few annoyances here. Firstly you can’t pay entrance by card and there is no ATM around unless you use the ferry again to get back to Dalian, so have some cash with you. You will pay some 2€ per person.
Luckily the nice gentleman behind the counter let us pay in EUR so we could enter.
You can however pay by card right next to the entrance where they serve refreshments. Prices are quite high for Turkish standards, but if you have the Turkish Museum card you will get 50% discount on coffee or tea.
The site is quite vast but many places are next to impossible to reach. Acropolis is on the top of the hill (as always) with quite steep climb. That’s of course expected, but probably because not many people decided to climb there you will most likely not find any clear path up. We attempted it anyway, but we failed to reach it.
At the time of our visit the site was crawling with all sorts of animals which was about the best highlight. We saw turtles, snakes, lizards and many sheep.
I am probably spoiled by Turkey already, but this was one of the less interesting sites for me with not so detailed information available on the boards, but higher prices. Paths were not too clearly marked.
Nice small place to visit if you are in vicinity for sure.
Vilém Fabiánek — Google review
Great archaeological site loads to see and is much bigger than the impression you get when you arrive. you need 3 hrs to get a goid look round. it's excellent value as admission is about £1.65. There are toilets on site and you can buy drinks too.
Janet Crook — Google review
Ruins about 20 minutes walk from Dalyan centre, on the other side of the river. We used the little rowing boat service to cross. Walk past the tombs and follow the signs for about 2km. Cheap entry ticket and very quiet in mid September. Lots of explanation boards in English. It can get very hot here and there is not much shelter so bring lots of water, the little cafe seems to have just a machine (we didn't go in).
Very interesting site with a mix of complete ruins such as the amphitheatre, ruined ruins and partially reconstructed parts to give a doctor of how it looked. We walked back and crossed the river using the car ferry and walked on the town side back to town.
Phil H — Google review
So interesting, a step back in time. Donkeys on the side of the road and a family owned business on the way up the road to the top. Fresh honey and lots of essential oils.
Susan G. — Google review
So much to see. We should have arranged longer than the one hour we had arranged but will be back to do it justice. There were a couple of areas not accessable due to reconstruction but this had little impact on our appreciation of what was before us. We were fortunate enough to get there early, so crowds were minimal but I expect even at peak viewing crowds would be tollerable. A hidden gem that benefits from minimal publicity.
Howard Barlow — Google review
Personnel very helpful and welcoming. There is a mini market for some refreshments. Astonishing view from the theatre.
It's a very nice beach with a nice beachfront restaurant. It's also a nesting place for Loggerhead Turtles and each nest is marked off for safety of the eggs. The beach also closes after sunset and no lights or loud music is allowed. It has won many awards for responsible eco tourism. Recommended!
Brian M — Google review
I loved the place and wanted to stay for at least couple of hours, but we left within 20 minutes because many people brought their dogs and let the dogs wander around, and the dogs were "attacking" people, wether the dogs were attacking or playing with people, we couldn't stay and enjoy the sea.
Its worth mentioning that the entrance to the beach has a sign stating that dogs are prohibited in the beach
Firas Beano — Google review
İztuzu Beach is a beautiful, 4.5 km long sand beach near Dalyan in southwestern Turkey. It is one of the main breeding grounds for Caretta Caretta turtles and is therefore referred as the Turtle beach. These turtles are on the list of endangered animals. Although it was were nice boat trip and it is beautiful beach and place to see, I think it should be forbidden for tourists to come there and it is essential to preserve this place and preserve the turtles reproduction without stress of human interaction.
Suzana Marini? — Google review
I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.
Alexandru Ioan — Google review
Beautiful, it is where the turtles go to lay their eggs. The surf is calm, the water is clear, the beach is clean. Lovely part of the world.
nefes dolcel — Google review
Beautiful beach and we were lucky we saw the turtles, the ride on the boat thro the river is stunning. You sail thro the reeds and see the burial caves. One not to miss.

Beautiful unspoilt beach that is home to nesting loggerhead turtles- a quick visit to the turtle sanctuary is worth a look, it's small but the work they do is great.

Nice place. When we went it was free but I think you would pay in season. Can't camp here. Beach is clean and had all facilities.
Visit the injured turtle hospital. This is free, they provide a really nice description of the work carried out and you can donate or buy some merchandise.

One of the best beaches in Turkey. 5 km white sand beach, have places on sun beds and authentic places with no people. Fall in love with this beach
Yulia Shaleyko — Google review
A perfectly clean beach with the perfect view and settings all around.
You can reach this beach via small boats that are always available.
The beach coast is very long, it won't appear crowded as much as crowded as it gets.
The water is crystal clear and the sand and water are both clean there are even sea turtles!
You can rent 2 small beach beds at 80 T.L as well or you can simply grab ur towel and sit near the water on the sand.
A great way to spend your day where you will enjoy ur time during the boat trip and see some old sculptures kn the mountains which were apparently old graves and enjoy ur time at the beach as well ⛱.
Those are photos on our way. And only 1 *with added stickers to cover up some ppl* when we reached as we were short on time.

The beautiful sandy beach was worth driving 1,5h from Marmaris. Plenty of space and shallow, clear warm water. The sea can be a bit rough but it only gives more fun. The car fee is only 50 TL and then 50TL for sunbeds...bud because there are so many people coming and leaving there's a good chance you will get sunbeds for free. There's a cheap bar with showers and changing rooms.
Arek Cyman — Google review
Just an all round stunning place. Lovely sandy beach, amazing views, parking and the facilities including beach bar/ restaurant, changing rooms and toilets.
There is a turtle rescue on the plot which is free and worth a visit too. We drove from marmaris in about 90 mins and was well worth the drive.
Nick Hughes — Google review
My favorite beach in Turkey, a national park and a turtle nesting place, with a small museum/hospital near the entrance where they fix wounded turtles. Huge, pristine stretch of sand between the sea and the river estuary. You can take a public taxi boat from Dalyan for 30 tl per person both ways, about one hour spectacular ride through the reeds, the last boat back to Dalyan leaves at 5 pm.
In the heart of Marmaris, Turkey, lies Youth Square, a vibrant plaza that replaced a dilapidated building. At the center of this square is the Dancing Fountain, featuring two basins that come to life with an automated light and music show at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm during peak season. What appears as a serene fountain during the day transforms into a lively hub for music and entertainment at night.
nice place to drink Turkish coffee and enjoying the dancing fountain show at the head of hour

So if you go to Marmaris you must visit Youth Square where you find the Dancing Fountain. At 20:30ish it does its thing for nearly an hour. Very popular. And the Turkish authorities take COVID very seriously and spray you with disinfectant.
Best to look on YouTube for video but believe me... You need to be there.

Siam Barrow — Google review
Very unfair and unprofessional business of a pool owner in the Marina - no any discount for late coming guests. You have to pay 6 euros even if you came 10 minutes before closing. Such a greedy approach is a disgrace to Turkish hospitality.
Peter Soldatkin — Google review
The most dishonest marina I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I paid $7000CAD for a 3 month contract to sell my boat with an agreement that they would refund balance when the boat sold minus 25%. I sold the boat after one month (off peak season) and had 2 months which should have been refunded (peak season prices) they changed the numbers as they saw fit and refunded me only $700CAD for the 2 months at peak season prices. not a bad place to walk in the evening
Veniamin Yulin — Google review
It used to be very nice and friendly, in the last two years prices have become unreasonable.
Let me explain: first of all is very noisy at night (both from night clubs but also fron other boats partying) but the worst thing is the high speed powerboats entering or leaving the marina. So once in while unexpected waves come out of the blue.
Additionally the behavior of certain staff + the refusal to speak English has become funny!
There is a rule in marketing called "willingness to pay", i don't mind the higher BUT downgrading the quality of your services is serious.
Spyros — Google review
Very nice well designed place with whatever a sailor can need such as warm water, every time clean big spaced toilets with hair dryer. Good shopping area with many cafes restaurants and sailing shops, a very close super market just next to marine, close to heart of Marmaris just a few minutes walk you are in castle historic area and bar streets.

Similar to its counterpart in Fethiye. The mooring fees are ok. If you dont leave by 8 AM you will get charged more. Departure at 11 AM will cost you more. The beachfront is very lively - and noisy - in the evening but offers great entertainment to those who want to party. Very quiet in February 2024.

Great marina right in the city, with good proposals in prices specifically for the small boats.
All paths and pantones are accessible and comfortable to move around.
The only one minus is a veeery narrow path for the boats to moore.. just toooo tight.
And, as you may guess its quite noisy at nights from the resraurants along the harbour.. but thats the price of being in the city.
Valentyna Pliushch — Google review
The marina is impeccably clean and well run, the town has everything you cod need to refit your boat with. Most of the mariners speak good English and are very helpful and the technical support is also readily available. It is also a very safe and secure marina with someone attentively patroling on a tender through the night .

Beautiful, luxurious marina. The view from the marina is absolutely breathtaking too! Gorgeous place to walk, has a lot of name brands including Paul and Shark and Jeans Lab. Also the lavatories are extremely clean! Has plenty of cafes to sit: I fully recommend Kahve Dunyasi for coffee & icecream, and Pineapple for meals with beautiful sea/boat/mountain views. Hope they continue the same quality within Netsel.

They know what to do. Good service with professional people. For your boat water is free, you need card for electricity. Anything you need for your boat, any kind of service or repair is available.

Marmaris Public Beach, located in the heart of Marmaris, offers a beautiful setting with views of lush green hills and the sea. The beach provides essential amenities such as toilets, showers, and changing cabins. While the sand is mostly dry clay and not fine white sand, visitors can still enjoy the serene atmosphere and watch giant cruise ships passing by. The beach also boasts excellent facilities including showers, changing areas, and toilets.
Came here mid November we were fortunate enough to have lovely weather for a couple days, the beach is clean and if you sit near one the the restaurants or bars they allow you to use the Sun Loungers and give you free WiFi providing you purchase a drink from them.
Anwar Hussain — Google review
The sand is brown ,it's kind of dry clay in most of the parts, don't expect white fine sand. The sea is brown as well, if you go to the deep part it can be a little bit more clear. If you want to go snorkeling ,that's isn't the beach ,go to Turunç, Turunç is amazing.
Marmaris beach facilities are spectacular, showers everywhere, places to get changed and toilets. Amazing facilities.
Manu Dog Carer — Google review
Lovely beach with warm water and plenty of sun beds. The water is more clear in the morning. You also can find plenty of companies with water sports like sky jets never pay the price they asking always negotiate. The water is not deep so is good for children. Also restaurants as one after one.
Simona Encuta — Google review
A sandy beach stretches on the part of the coast of Marmaris and belongs to the municipality, it is crowded most of the time in the morning and evening, there are public sanitary facilities and places for changing clothes, as well as places for bathing and washing the body after going to the sea. There is a nearby park that has children's games.
Isam Al-Karkhi — Google review
Parked in the new carpark along the front, lots of space and walked the whole length of marmaris, there was a kite festival so they were everywhere. Wandered back along the pazar area which has lots of little shops, lovely afternoon
Justine Bradley — Google review
I've got to be honest here, you can't really give this a title of a beach, it's far from that. It's like grit or builders sand, it's awful. The only reason I didn't give it less is because the sea is amazing, it's warm and very pleasant to swim and bathe in.

Atlantis Water Park is a family-friendly aqua park that boasts a variety of water slides, pools, and mini-golf for visitors to enjoy. The facility also includes restaurants and bars for guests to grab a bite or drink while taking a break from the water activities. The park features many lifeguards who are readily available to assist any visitors in need. While some slides may be rough, the overall experience is positive and perfect for families with children looking for a fun day out.
Nice aqua park, not very many slides, no dangerous ones, ideal for families with kids. Recommended to spend half of the day.
Alesya Pavlynska — Google review
The water park its self was fun, for children and adults.
Plenty of sunbeds for all.
The cleanliness needs improvement, the'carpets'
Around the park were loose and both myself and my friend tripped.
2 young 'lifeguard staff' on one of the slides were not letting us go down the slide as they were more interested asking our age and status.
I politely told them we just want to go on the slides. His slider come off and came down the slide so i took it back up for him.
He then started to be nasty about my appearance as i am sun burned, which i am already cautious about.
The next time i saw him he took the mick out of my voice as i have been unwell.
Finally the point that left me no choice but to report him was when we went to go on a different slide he was swearing at me.
This is when i spoke to 3 staff who were all very helpful and professional in directing us to the manager who was also very professional and apologetic. He reviewed the CCTV with me and took approproate action.
We left early as two young women now feeling extremely cautious and uncomfortable.
Due to other staff, action taken and management, we would return.

Went here today with our two children. Nice and clean. Good range of slides and great kiddie area. Plenty of life guards who were all around to help. The only downside is some of the slides are rough and even I hurt myself but all in all good time.

Good water park, little bit small but have access to a beach as well as entry in and out whenever you want. Great slides, the twister is the best. I also got to meet captain hook, always a bonus in my eyes

Atlantic is good for a few hours, it's not the best water park but has some canny slides. If you like big slides then this isn't for you, the 'big slides' are normal size. The rings rides there is 3, are so much fun and get some speed. It's ok as waterparks go.
Danielle Seago — Google review
The park is good fun, don't expect it to be the best you've ever been to but there is enough for a fun day out and you can do it all easy in a day. Reasonable price £15 pp and you can enter and leave the park as you like, queues are minimal on each slide even when it was at its busiest. The slides are good and there's just enough variety so give it a go!
Kieran Rowles — Google review
Ok so this was a suggestion from other holiday goers, so we have never been before. We expected different if we’re honest. We feel that there were too many people inside for the size of the establishment. The facilities were shabby and you need to be very careful of trip hazards. The site food and drink facilities were good, clean and speedy. The locker room was bizarre and youths were hanging around looking at the keys that were left unmonitored. The wave machine never came on and we left after 3 hours.
Blake Rushmere — Google review
I have visited in July with 2 kids. 10 yrs and 13 yrs. Its a relatively small park with a few rides and wave pool. It's beach front and has enough places to lie down. Closes rides from 1 to 1.30. Kids hurt their backs as plastic not even going down
Arina Dreglea — Google review
There are plenty of slides, and they're all pretty good fun, but the whole place needs a damned good clean, some TLC, and some staff who care a bit more.
There was a cat poo on the spiral staircase up to the entrance for the bowl slide, the ride mats for the straight slides were mostly torn and mouldy, and despite repeatedly asking them not to, the attendants of the 2 slides you need rubber rings for, kept spinning us out of the gates - not fun or funny for my young daughter.
The wave pool was nice, and overall, we did have a good time with reservations as outlined above.
Ben Tapp — Google review
Highly not recommending, everything from the beginning to the end is unorganised and chaotic. Queue to the entrance around 40 min with ticket, without 1 and half hour. Once u get inside after the entrance, u have to wait another 30 min to activate a locker. The person is surrounded by 20 people waiting to activate your locker with an entrance bracelet. Why this can't be done on the entrance when they are giving you a bracelet... and then people getting frustrated because its not properly activated and are coming way back from the locker. OMG.... 2nd issue food ,in the main court food be prepared to wait in a long queue for a food u will waste around one to one and half hour. And burger for 65 AED looks and tastes horrible. See the picture.... 3rd issue, the queues to the main slides, prepare to wait one and half hour per slide. To the waiting time on the screen in front of the slides, add 40% time they are not accurate. I'm very disappointed ,one of the worst water parks experience I have ever had and I have been in many. BIG WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND STRESS . HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDING!!!

Visited mid August and was very busy, too busy, be better if numbers were limited. Could be kept cleaner. Wrist bands allow you to leave site and return same day which is useful is you want to pop out for lunch. Lifeguards were very good and slides were enjoyed all.

A huge water park with slides, pools and tunnels in Marmaris. It has a restaurant and bar.
Where do I even begin? My visit to Aqua Dream was an absolute dream come true! The view was breathtaking, with crystal-clear pools, lush greenery, and vibrant landscapes that felt like stepping into a postcard-perfect paradise. You should definitely go even to take a picture at the best spot in Marmaris (you see the whole city from the park). The pools and the slides were an absolute blast. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and the food options were delicious. Overall, Aqua Dream is a true gem that offers an extraordinary escape from everyday life, and I can't wait to return and experience the magic all over again!

The water park doesn't have too many facilitis and there are only about 7-8 slips and a average size pool and a small wave pool which is mostly useful for children . kids pool is also available . it was fun but not the best . view of the park was really nice .

I wouldn't recommend coming here as a family of 4 we've paid over 100 pound English pound here and arrived at half 11 in the morning for the slides to be shut within half hour for a whole 3 hours - we've basically paid 100 pound to sit round a pool where we could be doing this round our own swimming pool. What an actual joke that the staff need a whole 3 hour break where I can eat my food within 20 minutes. I will never be returning to the water park and will be asking for an refund as we don't want to be sitting round doing nothing.

Nice place, visited during corona (september 2020), we booked directly via website and it was freaking mess, so absolutely dont recommend to book via their official website, better via travel agencies. Park is more ot less clean, would suggest to add more donuts for slides, but in general we enjoyed the visit. Totally worth the price. We knew what we gonna get so we were not disappointed.

Good slides, food over priced for Turkey and the whole place is in need of repair, loose and broken tiles which are really quite dangerous.

Food and drinks far too expensive. Most rides were shut, no umbrellas so my young child couldn't have any shade so left early. Nice views from the cafe though. Transfers were supposed to be included in the price but they still want tipping. Like everywhere you go in Turkey.

Good place to spend a sunny day. Not too crowded (almost empty), 6/10 slides were working on our visit, during 3 30-minute breaks, the wave pool was turned on. Waterpark has a restaurant with good food and breathtaking views of Marmaris

It was nice to make a break away from the resort. The place it pretty run down and could use renovation but I accept that the tourist market has probably just put these places back into business due to covid. The white slide I would actually condemn as when people use it, it moves on its supports about 20 to 30deg. That kraken water smells like sewage. All that aside it was actually a fun day.
Daniel Davies — Google review
Fun clean and big. I understand them not allowing us to bring snacks in for the kids, but they took all my water away! It was 14 Turkish lira for a small water and a can of Coke, which isn't expensive but I don't like buying water in "single use" plastic bottles.
Susan Clark — Google review
Enjoyed the overall experience, but the park needs some updating .... money spending on it...
The slides are good but not enough rings, what they do have keep losing air and going down..
Staff were polite but not enough of them.
Park was dirty, rubbish from day before hanging around and a good sweep round would help...
Sunbeds broken and dirty...
In all just dated and short of investment.

İçmeler Beach is a beautiful public beach with stunning views of rocky hills covered in pine forests. While the water is clean, there have been some reports of litter on the beach. However, amenities such as changing cabins and showers are available. It's a quieter alternative to Marmaris Beach, offering a better view and fewer boats. Visitors can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee and enjoy various water sports in the crystal-clear sea.
This beach is ery close to Marmaris and for those tired of their hotel beach I would recommend this place. It is a bit more quiet with less boats etc and it has a little bit better view than Marmaris beach.
You can also find a lot of restaurants on the beach, mostly stand alone ones that are not a part of any hotel, check the reviews before choosing a place

Very nice public beach in Içmeler. The surroundings are just to die for, rocky steep hills covered in pine forests. Water was clean but not turquoise and the beach does not receive 5 stars because there was trash here and there, cigarette butts, bottle caps and so on even though there were plenty of trash bins all over the place. Of course people can be jerks and throw their stuff on the beach but this does not mean there shouldn't be a cleaning service. There are changing cabins and showers. I think this beach is far better than the public beach in Marmaris.

Sandy beach which is very strong point. Price for 2 beds is around 300 lira but if you order something from the bar it's free. That means if you order 2 coke then you pay 120 lira and have a bed. The beach at Icmeler offers a clean and crystal-clear sea. It is possible to rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee of around 150 TL per person. Absolutely stunning. We did the walk from Pedi, really didn't take too long but someone with mobility issues might be better with a boat on the steep steps.
The walk is worth it just for the views of the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. But the bar was just what we needed. Didn't eat at the Taverna so can't recommend or not for that.
But definitely worth a visit and recommend walking.

This is a clean rock beach that can be accessed by water taxi or by walking 20 min over the mountain from Pedi beach. Has some rocky ledges to climb up on right side that can be used to jump/dive into deep water. There's a snack bar & taverna offering refreshments and food. We had souvlaki platters from taverna which were good but a bit pricey.
Bring water shoes if you have sensitive feet.

Very cool remote beach, 20 mins walk from Pedi center on a rocky, steep path, or you can take the taxi boat. Surpsisingly, when you reach the bay, you find a luxury beach, with small church, taverna, cafe, sunbeds, shower and toilets. The beach is not sandy, but pebbles are small and not sharp, plus the bottom of the sea is flat stone. It's a lovely family run beach, food and drinks were wonderful and plenty, hospitality was exceptional. Better take some cash with you, 4G is not always available. We had a wonderful day!

A beautiful beach, with a lot of people during summer. The water is transparent and warm. They even have a taverna where you can go to for a drink or an afternoon snack or even a regular meal. Goats can be seen everywhere and will not hesitate to browse through your stuff if they suspect you harbor some kind of food.

Sweeping monastery dedicated to Archangel Michael, rebuilt in 1783 & featuring elaborate frescoes.
Beautiful monastery in a stunning bay in the south of Symi. Famous for the icon of archangel Michael. It really is a place of pilgrimage and the traditional offering is a rush or Reed broom.
The bell tower is stunning as is the inner courtyard where the Chapel is housed

Beautiful monastery about 30 min bus trip from the port. Cost 10 euro return by bus, the roads are windy so if you get travel sickness make sure you take something before you start the journey! It was a 30 minutes stop en route from Rhodes to Symi . It is ok , not great , no entry fee , nothing to do . We didn't have a guide so we did not know what we are looking at. We had to search online . It is a small place that you can visit in under 1 hour , they have a museum (only religious orthodox exhibits ) that you can visit for 3 euros . They also have a souvenir shop of mostly religious items . Next to the monastery there are are a few restaurants and shops .

There is not lots to see here and while Symi is a lovely island I don't think it is any different from the rest of the Greek isles.
We bought a TUI trip from Lardos to Simy as a guided tour for just over 120 euro for two of us, which included all travel and admission to the monastery, but there really isn't very much to see. I feel quite underwhelmed and at every stage it was a case of trying to get every penny out of you.
The talk in the sponge shop and the explicit sales chat, taking us to a special restaurant so we wouldn't get ripped off, but we found a better local place with a more authentic feel, great food, service and not inflated prices.
Anyhow, overall the trip was okay, but wouldn't do it again. We have spent a fair amount of time travelling and not so much seeing anywhere. Felt a bit trapped in TUI land.

Superb place, even if busy it's well organised and you get in very quickly. Church has got amazing hand-painted frescos and a huge silver iconoclast of St Michael, protector of all Greek sailors. Make a note of it on your itinerary when in Rhodes.

Little and beautiful monastery, absolutely worth a visit. One hour is quite enough to see everything in the little town. There is a gift shop and a little grocery store as well.
Lehel T. — Google review
After a 90 minute boat ride (with incredible views of the Turkish coast) and we arrived at the Holy Monastery. While it is extremely small (and the lines are super long if you don’t get there early). Said to have been originally built in 450 BC, the church was extensively rebuilt in the 17th century.
The intricate wood work and icon inside the monastery are majestic, bringing many people to tears.
We loved the quick stop here and even managed to purchase a fresh loaf of bread from the local bakery.
It does get really crowded and there’s not much else to see // do. Make it a stop on your way to Symi, but don’t count on spending more than an hour or two.
Nick Stagge — Google review
If you are in Symi 8-9 of November and want to go to the feast day celebrations at this monastery (and you should go) it’s easy. Mini buses run from near Pantellis restaurant in Symi town on the hour (ish) from 7.30 am (10e return / bought an hour before). We had no idea about timings of events at the monastery and could not find anything online in English but we ended up arriving at 11am just in time to see the icon of St Michael processed to the war memorial and to hear the “cannon” explosions. I’d recommend getting there a little earlier. We picked up a return bus easily at about 2.30 having visited the icon, bought delicious pastries and watched the huge Dodecanese ferry do a full circle in the harbour whilst blowing its horn and being serenaded by the monastery bells. Great experience and the bus ride to the monastery through the mountains is beautiful.

A wonderful experience visiting this Monastery. The funniest part was that it didn’t seem like a monastery at all, more like a hotel.
The building is painted white and looks amazing as you arrive via boat. As we docked on our boat, the bells of the Monastery started to chime, welcoming us to the place. We had only 30 minutes here, but we saw enough to make us want to come back again for a longer stay.
Spencer Hawken — Google review
The Monastery lies near some crystal clear waters. It has a miracle icon of Saint Michael. I think that the Monastery is worth visited when not so many tourists around so that onw could pray in quiet. You can find nearby, at the oven, delicious pastry.

A lovely bay to anchor with turtles swimming around. On land, there is plenty to see and places to eat delicious food. There is also a bakery for fresh bread and baked goodies. I recommend!
Maria Stoyanova — Google review
You can visit the monastry but it takes maximum of 30 minutes in total, sea is not that much suitable for swimming, but you can see some sea turtles which is kind of exiting. Other than monastry there is not much thing to see here.
Rhodes Castle is a Gothic-style castle from the 14th century that was turned into a residence for Italian Mussolini in the 20th century. The site of the original Byzantine fortress, it features museums of ancient and medieval Rhodes.
Incredible palace, with a lot of history. There are many statues and as we were exiting the palace we almost didn't see the stairs going up into the living quarters. It delves into what regular life was at the palace and also gives an overview of the history of the palace and Rhodes itself, with also a model reconstruction of a ship. Also very good value for money as you pay 10 euro for a special ticket combining the art museum, archeological museum, palace of the grand master and the church.
Huanhao Ye — Google review
10€ for a combined ticket including 4 different attractions. This one was not the best of them. The outside was beautiful and there was a lovely looking sculpture garden but you couldn't go in it. The inside was quite simple and the main feature in every room was the mosaic tiles which were all described down to the last morsel. However, there was very little else to see and the information linked to this was often written at the end rather than the beginning. The room with the knights clothing was by far the best one.
You will need to walk up steep steps, so it is not suitable for disabled people.
Coralie Pattenden — Google review
The views from outside were more enjoyable than the actual experience. I enjoyed the plaques that explained more about the history. If you're a historian and enjoy these type of things, it may be worth paying the 8 euros to enter. I'm a seasoned traveler and would have preferred to spend those 8 euros on something else. The outside of this place is definitely the highlight (and free). If you are on a budget, you can definitely skip this exhibit. If you've got the time to kill and don't know what else to do, this is a decent option. They have bathrooms at the entrance which were decently maintained
Nick Kiessig — Google review
Some interesting art in the main museum but most of the original statues were damaged by earthquakes. The outdoor garden is peaceful and has a few impressive frescoes. There is a small museum in the back with a few excellent pieces, some going back almost 8,000 years. Most of the castle is a reconstruction in the last century. The staff is very knowledgeable and can offer some historical insight.
Arkk Smith — Google review
Nice place! We went only to the Palace and had a look around. For that the entrance price might be a little too much, but you v
Cam easily get a combo ticket with other museums to make it worth your while. I really liked their collection of mosaics.

The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes is a testament to the power and prestige of the Knights of Rhodes. It also sounds pretty cool. Stepping foot inside this magnificent fortress, you can't help but be overwhelmed by its architectural splendor and rich historical significance. A must-see for any history enthusiast (my son--- the history and archaelogy major) seeking to immerse themselves in the captivating world of medieval knights.
The entrance was 10 Euros. It felt steep but you will spend at least 1.5 hours exploring the huge case and its grounds.
Michael Garcia — Google review
It is worth visiting the grand master's palace, it is a piece of Greek history. It really preserved the medieval architecture and we admired the preserved medieval walls and construction the whole time. I definitely recommend a visit. I recommend buying tickets in advance through the official site of Greek monuments. It's called the Hellenic Heritage. For Europeans under the age of 25, a free ticket to this monument is available through this website. For people over 25, you can also find a cheaper ticket than on commercial sites that sell tickets
Lukáš Gába — Google review
Very interesting and well preserved monument. There was a “history of Rhodes” exhibition on when I visited which had a lot of items on display. After finding the way up into the palace (doorway to the right of the ticket office) I was very impressed with the way the palace had been preserved and the video storyboards were very interesting.
I went on a Saturday morning expecting to join a queue for tickets but when I arrived there was no queue at all, initially went on a Friday and the queue was enormous.
Les Cooper — Google review
It was OK for 8 eur, though there are plenty of beauties for free or much cheaper. Mosaic floors are not renovated, rooms are hardly decorated or equipped.
The most impressive it is from outside.
Slight disappointment for us, Rhodes provides much more great sights, even for free...
EU vaccination certificate was throughly checked.

I’m not sure what is not to like about the palace which the combined ticket only costs €10 and you can visit the archaeological museum & other attractions with the same ticket…
Lots of mosaics exhibited in the palace and lots of rooms, hallways.. I found it very enjoyable to walk around, although there’s not much texts about the history itself, only about the mosaics.
Definitely worth a visit just to have a stroll. It’s a nice palace building on its own.
Haynes Cheung — Google review
Great experience. Just direction signs or a small map on the ticket is missing. Than my mark shall reach maximum of 5 stars. Otherwise very well maintained, with interesting exhibitions. Recommend visiting.

We bought a combo ticket 10€, the child is free, the price includes visiting 4 places. In the Palace of the Grand Master on the ground floor there is an exhibition of antiquity, many exhibits, it is interesting to look at and read the names, as well as find out what period of time they belong to.
On the second floor, the atmosphere of a real knight's castle. Unfortunately, there is little information in the museum itself about the life of this period, so it would be good to search and get acquainted with information on the Internet in advance.
We spent almost 2 hours, but for my teenage child, unfortunately, it was not so interesting as it was for me.
Irina Tikka — Google review
Beautiful, well preserved building. My husband and I visited on a Sunday, payment in was 8 euros each. Nice and cool inside, great relief from the heat of Rhodes. Definitely worth the visit, could easily spend 1.5. Hours here. Didn't appear to be guided tours/ maps/ information leaflets when we visited. Would suggest you bring your own booklet/ read information about the palace before you visit, so that you know about it.
Marian Tobin — Google review
This ancient medieval castle with a residence built in gothic style (very uncommon in Eastern lands of Byzantine influence), was carefully rebuilt by the Italians in 1940, who were then in control of the island. It is a real fortress, not a fake or ceremonial one, full of history, having been the headquarters of Knights Hospitaller. There's an interesting collection of ancient uniforms inside.
Jorge Bernardo — Google review
For 8€ you can take a quick walk through this ancient palace.
The atrium is neat and beautiful. It shows some statues. The main course takes you on the first floor, after a short visit to a small chapel. Following through various rooms, you can see differently styled rooms of which many show famous mosaic layings on the ground.
It is a nice little walk through the building. The whole course takes around 30 minutes, depending on time you want to spend there. It is worth a visit.
Sabrina Wulf — Google review
Magnificent castle with lots of old relics, tools, jewelry and pottery. You get amazed how old some of them are. The castle is floored with marble and lot of mosaic in beautiful detail. I don't recommend this place for children, but adults.
Asle Nesset — Google review
What a fantastic day out and we probably didn't get to see half of it as it's so massive inside the walls . There are plenty of places to sit and watch the world go bye while having something to eat and drink. Loads of small boutique restaurants and shops to mill in and out while you marvel at the scale of this place and how well maintained it was . I would definitely recommend going to this place.

What an incredible experience! This is one of the finest museums in Greece, and a must see in Rhodes. Everything about it was superb, a visit to remember for a lifetime. I visited off season, so there were no queues, but since it can get very busy during tourist season, ensure you plan tickets and your visit in advance. Definitely a place that I will come back to, with a proper medieval feel. It has to be experienced, you will not regret it!

Great place and full of history. Visited on a weekday in late September. Not too many people, although there were a lot of groups from the cruise ships when we went. We had bought tickets on line but there is limited signage to say that you can skip the queue.
We both really enjoyed our visit. Lots of mosaics (brought over from Cos by the Italians) statues, art etc. Keep an eye out for the windows which are made of thin sheets of alabaster - amazing to see.
I think it was 8 euro at the time.
Anne Shepherd — Google review
Interesting bit of history in the Medieval town. We were lucky on the day to get a free pass to wander around the grand masters palace. An interesting insight into the story of the Knights of Rhodes.
Chris Barrow — Google review
Very much worth the visit and ticket price (8 euro) if you are the least historical or architecture interested. The castle is quite large with lots of interesting places and rooms to visit, with impressing interior and old mosaics, paintings and so on. Very well preserved. I spent around 2 hours during the visit.
Only downside is the missing signs with descriptions about the different rooms, it could be nice to read a little about the purpose of the different rooms and structures.
Thomas Rasmussen — Google review
Very interesting and lots of history and historical information. Well worth a visit. There is a charge to get around €8 but worth it. There is a small cafe and public toilet.
Michael Jobbo Lucking — Google review
Impressive palace from the outside. As soon as you enter it is necessary to buy a ticket. Either 8€ to visit the palace once or 10€ for a combined ticket (valid for 3 days) - for the Palace of the Grand Master of Knights, the Archaeological Museum, the church of Our Lady of the Castle and the Decorative Arts Collection. The ticket can be booked online in advance, then you can save the queue for the ticket purchase (left queue) and wait only for the entrance itself (right queue).
After the queue in the courtyard you are disillusioned and wonder what you paid 8€ for. But the "small" ticket also includes the way through the castle itself. For this you have to take a door next to the entrance with a large staircase up. Here there are then some nice things to see during a walk through the castle. All in all, it is worth a visit.
The toilet in the courtyard can unfortunately not be locked 🫣.

I will love that will be signs for the rooms and more so you know what you see. And i come to the end of march so a lot of rooms was close. It was decent for a small scroll. Is worth it for sure if you are under 25 so you can get ticket for free. Generally it was interesting to learn the story behind it and see the mosaic from Kos.

Neat architecture and upstairs rooms with pretty floor mosaics. Sadly during March 2024 low season, the Knight Crusaders exhibits were closed. But Combo ticket €10, covers 4 sites all near Knight St and no crowds/queues during low season.
The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is one of the best museums in the Dodecanese, housing a collection of ancient artifacts & art from the island. The museum is situated in the Old Town of Rhodes and it is filled with findings from excavations all over the island.
Part of the combined ticket for 10€. This was definitely the best attraction of them all.
Such an amazing building with beautiful gardens and lots of artifacts to see and read about. All the information is displayed clearly and in several languages. Can't believe how old some of the artefacts were - some of the oldest were from 700BC.
Click on my profile to see my reviews of the other attractions included in the combined 10€ ticket.

Well worth it as especially since you get 4 different places for 10€! The garden area was lovely, all those arches too in the main courtyard. There are a lot of steps with no hand rails, so if that's a problem for you- I would give it a miss. I could have spent a lot of time here, just sitting taking it all in. If you are interested in historical pottery, then this is the place for you too! It had a really nice feel to it this place, I could go again and again just to take it all in. Although one can only look at so much pottery..
Shelley Mac — Google review
Only €6 to enter or you can get a premium ticket for €10 that gets you into 3 other places including the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights. There was a lot of burial urns, statues and grave markers, a garden with fish in a pond, I saw some lizards, and there is a cafe inside. Some of the items in the museum came from the Acropolis in Lindos so that was cool to see after visiting the acropolis.
Nicole Snailham — Google review
Beautiful and much larger than I expected.
Gardens are lovely and places to sit in the shade.
Small cafe too.
Well worth a visit

Part 1: as they say on their homepage, the prehistory part is not available during winter. Unfortunately that also includes the Bronze Age, which technically is not pre-history.
Part 2 (general review): Nice collection and entrance fee is negligible. All the pieces are listed in English and Greek and structured in different time periods. The building itself is great and houses a nice garden where the mosaics are displayed.
Christian Meier — Google review
Great museum which wraps around the whole central courtyard which then heads out to the open roof area and then leads on the the gardened area which is easy to miss as it's up the steps when you go outside to see the statues outside on the roof. Well worth the 6euro entrance fee and it is even cheaper with a combi ticket for the palace
Dave T — Google review
We bought a combination ticket that included this and Palace and two small museums for €10 Euros. This ticket and the museums are worth the €10 Euros. I do recommend seeing this museum, at first it doesn't seem like are seeing much. Continue on and also up the stairs to next level and there are lots of rooms on both levels and then into beautiful gardens.
Stephen Arlaud — Google review
The collection contains quite a few remarkable pieces, but their guidance of visitors could be a lot better, as particularly the initial rooms seem rather boring. It does get better in the garden later.

Nice collection of art and historical remnants of the past eras of Rhodes. The hospital which it is located in is quite a sight itself, and the well spaced arrangements make it a calm and interesting experience. (I visited in March, it should be noted)

We enjoyed walking around the various museums, churches, exhibits & palace of the grand master. Beautiful architecture & art. Definitely a must-see when in Rhodes!

This museum was a pleasure to go to and explore!
The building itself is quite large and has plenty of rooms to explore and read a lot of history about Rhodes and past events!
This museum also has a good ratio of interior and exterior sites to view.
Would definitely recommend a visit to the museum
Only downside was the many rooms used only to display pottery, which could have been used for other items for more variation instead!
Side note: Make sure to visit on the weekend, as the museum closes early at 3pm on weekdays, and 8pm on weekends!
ItsJoelAnthxny — Google review
Worth the visit if you want to see / learn more of Rhodos history and you want to take a break from the beach. Had a few interesting pieces, but the building itself is also worth to see.
Alex Iacobita — Google review
Nice gardens there and quite a few ancient artefacts to view.
It has lots of small rooms full of artefacts but they were too hot to stand in during our visit.
It's a shame that lots of the things to see don't have any explanation as to what they are or where they are from.
For around 6 euro it's an OK place to pass an hour.

This museum is in the heart of the Rhodes' Medieval City. We were passing by during the weekend and despite the €6 entrance price, we could enter free (together with many others). It was really nice to visit and learn a lot more in the history and culture.
From Wikipedia: The museum is housed in the monumental edifice that was the hospital of the Knights of Saint John. Construction was begun in 1440 and brought to completion in the time of the Grand Master d'Aubusson (1476-1503). The Museum contains various collections of archaeological artifacts from various parts of Rhodes and the neighbouring islands, including the Statue of the Crouching Aphrodite (1st century BC)

You will find some of the exhibits in the open air, and some on the second floor, located in many small rooms. Also there is the crypt with the tomb stones of the dead knights. If you enjoy looking at small antiques and reading their labels, you'll love it. My teenage child was not very interested. We were in July and used combo tickets. 10€ with other places, child was free
Irina Leskinen — Google review
Not a great collection, and sadly a real lack of any real context to what the pieces mean, and what they teach us about historic Rhodes. A 3-4 scattered panels give you a real quick deep dive into Rhodes’ history, but most of the written text is describing the appearance of the object which you can already see, in clumsy English.
I’m a museum fan and I was very bored, you should skip the entire top floor if you’ve ever seen a Greek pot or vase before and take the stairs up next to the toilets to see the open air mosaics and amazing garden.
Some crusader gravestones and Greek statues are in the large upper room next to this garden, fairly interesting, with a restored home in the garden, which again has sparse information or access. A clear lack of investment is sadly obvious here.

Good place to take a walk in. 10€ ticket for this museum and the palace. Can be visited on the next day after going to the palace. A lot of old statues, stones etc.

It is one of Europe's oldest continuously inhabited medieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The hotel features spacious rooms with traditional architecture and an outdoor pool overlooking the city.
This was the absolute best place I've ever stayed at. We were a party of 8 and spent three nights in Rhodes. The island is really amazing, but it was the villa that made our time there truly special. 16 Ipparchou, Old Town, Rhodes Island 851 00, Greece
The historical landmark Kallithea Springs is a popular thermal spa in Rhodes that features Art Deco architecture and a beach. It's one of the best-known parts of the island, not least because of its iconic domed building boasting fine mosaics. Recently restored and renovated, it originally was constructed in the late 1920s. The springs and beach can be enjoyed for free, but there are fees for using the daybeds and for snorkelling.
Great place to visit with beautiful clear blue seas with great snorkeling viewing many fish. The springs are great as well, need to arrive early to get the 100+ sunbeds but this did not stop our enjoyment of the place, recommended to all. €8 to enter springs which is reasonable and you can spend all day, sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming and swimming the springs and fountains. Kids friendly but remember this area is a sun trap. We took the bus from Rhodes to Springs costing €5.00 for 2, highly recommended.

The Kallithea Springs are a great getaway from the shopping streets and markets. The gardens and surrounding area are very well maintained and offer some shade from the sun. Great spot for some swimming as well.
The restaurant was still closed because we visited early in the season. However outside in the parking lot there was a small shop for some much needed drinks.

Beautiful place to visit. Lots of history and really interesting. We went for an evening meal. For us the music was kicking way too loud. Through the day when people are swimming or relaxing round and about the music adds to the atmosphere. Having an evening meal you want something a bit more relaxed not loud, upbeat, thudding music. Each to there own but for us we would have liked something a little less chaotic. We would definitely go back through the day time just not of am evening.

Tourist spot well worth it! Artistically very well done. There is a lot of history with the building here, they have a video running that shares the info. The spring has been made into a stunning beach/ swim area. It was great jumping in the ocean after feeling the sun all day. Refresh AF. Nice lounge area. Seats along the banks. Come here at least once during your trip to the island.

Just about my favourite place in the whole world. If i could build a little house overlooking Kallithea and spend my days here i would be Mr Happy.
There is a charge of €4 to enter the lido, and then it was €20 for 2 sunbeds, but that included 2 refreshing drinks and 2 bottles of water, nice to get some refreshment without having to pay more.
There is not much space if you don't want a sunbed, you might struggle there. The beach area is small. The water is lovely, and i could bob around in the sea for hours.
Showers and changing cabins are available, as are toilets. There is a restaurant on site too, tho i felt the prices were on the high side so did not eat there.
Taxi from Rhodes centre is €17 e/w while we travelled by bus, €5 for 2 e/w, journey time is approx 15 mins.
You can easily spend the whole day here, relaxing, swimming, absorbing the warmth of the 🌞. It is as close to perfection as i can be.

Gorgeous relaxing place with a lot of parking. Plenty of sun beds to relax on and a large covered coffee and food area with an exceptional menu. The staff are very friendly and the whole place is clean and spotless. Day trips on boats pull up into the bay and people go snoring or swimming. Very little beach so it’s not a beach resort. The structure itself is beautiful and an ideal wedding or conference venue. Its history spans over a hundred years from when the first muddy waters were seen as health giving, to the Italian makeover in the 1920s into the resort you see today. It’s had a tangled history being turned into a prison by the Germans, being featured in multiple films, been the subject of multiple restorations before finally returning to its current glory.

I love Kallithea springs and the beach there. It's getting a bit richer with all the cabanas on the beach now but it's still nice for a swim and a drink.
Unfortunately it gets very very crowded so it is good in the early morning and late evening.

A nice place to relax and enjoy the beach. Plenty of place to sit down and enjoy a good drink, or relax on a sunbed with parasol. The entrance fee was €4,- but it was wel worth it. The sunbeds are €15, - for 2 beds and a parasol. If you enjoy snorkelling then you should do it here! The water is relatively clear and very inviting. Watch out for the rocky places in the water as you could hurt yourself. The rocks are more concentrated along the edges but there are a few in the middle too. The water doesn't go to deep to quickly so you can stand for a while before it gets too deep. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. The springs are waterfalls that you can see on the left side of the beach. Have a great time.

Stunning place named after the Mexican American actor who wanted to buy it. (Interesting story). The water here is crystal clear due to the fact that the beach itself and the bed of the bay itself is all stones which are polished smooth. Therefore it's a great spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. The landside of the bay in down a 20ft embankment which is covered by Cyprus trees which give great shade when needed.
At the top of the embankment is a small cafe which I didn't try and public toilets.
Honestly one 9f the nicest places if not the nicest on the island.
Rhodes is windy a lot of the time, but because it is so sheltered this is never an issue here.

Best beach we visited in Rhodos. It was there little crowdy ,but we find a spot for our towels. In the sea are big rocks,so better wear sea shoes (there are sea urchin). Also it is great place to snorkeling. Water is crystal clear . There will be probably some tourist boats, but they leave after a while.
D jiricka — Google review
Clear water with many underwater rock formations. View from above is also great+ there are some treas that will provide some shadow. There is a bar available and parking place + a bus stop that can get you back to Rhodes city
...On the way you will pass Larika bay, which you should also consider for snookering, or I would even recommend to leave the car there. ( There's a bar with great food and drinks).

Amazing beach.
It is a rocky beach, but the water is very clean and blue.
Probably the best beach in Rhodes.
Sorin Ion — Google review
Indeed beautiful with a pebble beach and very busy. A top food restaurant on top with more than acceptable prices. On the beach you can rent paddles and water biking. Great views from the top and sun until 5.50 in the afternoon. Nice sport for snorkeling with very deep waters.

One of the best beaches to visit when in Rhodes, the view is just amazing, I recommend showing a bit earlier to catch a bed to lay on.
The water are so clear and you can swim and enjoy your time there.

Super great place. There are 2 sides you can hang out and rent beach chairs. We got there a little late and had to sit on the sand. Ideal location for snorkeling fans.

Stunning place, went two days in a row and walked all the way around the bay for sun all day. The beach beds are €5 for the day and the snorkeling is good fun, very clearwater. A bit tricky to get in and out with smaller kids i assume.
Annett Brown — Google review
This place is a must see water is so clear and beautiful take a snorkel as you will see small fish in the water. It is all stones though so take foot wear is it can be a bit sore on your feet. There is a great place to eat and drink here plus they will phone you a taxi no problem you could easy spend the full day here and go out on the pedal boats.
Allana Carpenter — Google review
Beautiful secluded bay with a rocky shore, perfect place for snorkelling plenty of small fish etc to see. The snack bar/restraunt on the cliff has a good choice of food & drinks and is not overpriced
The Archaeological Site of Kamiros is a beautiful and historical landmark on the northwest coast of Rhodes. The site is from ancient times and has survived excavation, making it a popular tourist destination with history enthusiasts. The city was built more than 3000 years ago and has been abandoned over time, with most residents moving to the city of Rhodes. The ruins are still fascinating and worth visiting for anyone interested in ancienthistory.
Absolutely worth visiting. Best view is from the top. Suggest to read the leaflet to feel the history of the ruins, started about 2700 years ago.

We really liked this place. For me it's maybe most interesting acropolis in Rhodos. You can go through few ancient houses ,there are signs how these sites looked. The entrance is not high,I would say it's really cheap (6€). There is also refreshment and we had cold mountain tea with lemon and honey and it is great to refresh yourself. There is parking spot in front of the entrance.
D jiricka — Google review
One of the three main cities of Rhodes. It’s not very popular or advertised but the site is absolutely impressive. Has few vertical structures still standing, but the size of the city is big. With a main temple, houses, a public square and baths, you will get a glimpse of the life of the past.
You can also find toilets and other amenities, unlike more popular ruins like Lindos. The ticket is also only 6€. Absolutely recommended if you are interested in the Ancient Greek.
Johnny — Google review
One of the few archaeological sites to have an onsite cafe, which is most welcome on a hot day! The site itself is expansive, and while the ruins may not be particularly awe-inspiring, it's amazing to see the way water was collected - such a vital resource!
Dave Briggs — Google review
Oh wow! A must go to place if you like history and old buildings. Luckily with a fee of 6 euros you get wonderful journey back in time to Ancient Greece. Not too much but just right amount of information on sign with graphs. You can walk among or even in ancient houses. Absolutely go to the top of the hill to check out their water cisterns systems with ceramic pipes. Absolutely stunning!
Jaros?aw Skupi?ski — Google review
Nice views from the top, ruins are very old and only consist of low walls where the buildings were. That being said it was interesting enough and has shop on site serving food and drinks. Entry was €6 for adults and €3 for children.
Shane Young — Google review
Great site to visit if you want to view a less touristy but more authentic archeological site with over 2000 years of history on Rhodos. Easily visited yourself with a rental car.
Maarten van den Dungen — Google review
Very cool to see the ancient ruins and have a guided tour show us how everyone lived back then.
Stephen Metcalf — Google review
Well worth the price of a guided tour from tour operator. Lots of steps but the views are really worth the effort. The site is partially excavated so lots more to come in the future if they finish the dig.
Peter Sampson — Google review
An excellent place to visit if you like ruins and history! Really clear examples of ancient structures with some good information around. Lots of stuff is roped off to protect it but there is still plenty that you can interact with.
A must visit!
Simon Cullen — Google review
Extensive and interesting ancient site with ruins dating back to 3,000 years old. Could do with more information boards so bring a guidebook. Good paths all round, generally a better site visit than Lindos.
Hugh Rogers — Google review
Nice place with interesting history, but only if you have a guide to explain the so many things each rock represents. The panoramas are extraordinary!
Alexandra Birtar — Google review
Very interesting site as I was given a guided tour and was told about what I was looking at, otherwise I would not of had a clue what specific medieval ruins I was looking at. Some of the ruins had information boards next to them that does help.
Les Cooper — Google review
€6 entry fee, and worth every cent, a must stop if you have even the slightest interest in classical history, quite easy to walk around, plenty of shaded seating areas, and even a little refreshment cafe and wc.
This place took me right back to my childhood and fascination with Greek culture and mythology

Beautiful place, not crowded in late April, tickets €6, toilets free. Worth to visit!
Kamila Drozdzal — Google review
Interesting historical spot - we were there in April, there was almost noone, parking right next to the entrance, cheap 6 euro ticket. We’ve spent there around 45 minutes walking all over, reading the information tabs, taking pics and admiring the view. I wouldnt make it a highlight of my trip, but certainly worth seeing.
Zuzana Semeradova — Google review
Fantastic! An absolute must see for everyone whom is interested in archeology, history and Ancient Greece.
The ancient city of Kamiros is magnificent and gives a unique insight in the urban planning and landscaping techniques.
One critique; a guide would be nice to have, or the option to scan a QR code and listen to an audio guide.
Dylan de Roo — Google review
From what we had seen, we thought it will be much less imposing than that!
When we arrived we were surprised by the beauty of the ancient city.
The ruins are good preserved so that we can recognize the different rooms of the houses. The view is magnificent with the sea in the background (see photo)
we had a great time observing this ancient Hellenistic city.
I strongly recommend
Be careful, no shade in the ruins (take something to protect yourself from the sun)
Sacha deLaporte — Google review
All I can say is WOW, what a fantastic sight, all these bad reviews claiming its to expensive, 6 euros per person is cheap, plenty of shade, we spent 3 hours looking around really enjoyed the site. There a snack bar for refreshments. All the people who have left a bad review, get a grip you sadoes.
Andrew Hammond — Google review
Looks amazing, but very limited information on what we were looking at. We viewed the Wikipedia page for information whilst walking around the site, but that's quite basic.
Is this house? Is this a temple? Is that a plinth? These things are not obvious just by looking. Although there were some signs explaining that the top part was a temple, this was a bathhouse, etc..
We would have happily paid for a guide or info pamphlet if available.
A nice place to visit, do your homework before going.
Chris Coles — Google review
Impulsive visit. Very peaceful, but felt the entry charge of 6 euro steep. (Last 20min its free entry!)
They have people there watching you - obviously to safeguard the ruin, but it felt a little stalky, especially when you try and take pictures.
Almost didn’t bother going because of some of the negative reviews, but we did and it was great.
We (adult and two kids age 7 and 10) paid €30 for two hours and had an amazing time.
Both our kids can swim well so didn’t use life vests but they were available if needed.
The obstacles range from pretty simple (albeit slippery) to quite difficult and include monkey bars, slides into the sea, some quite high jumps into the sea and some precarious balance beams. I’m a fairly good climber and actually struggled with some of the larger “advanced” inflatables!
Yes, there is some algae on the underside of the inflatables but they’re in the water 24/7 so it’s expected. There are also some broken sections but none of this affected our enjoyment.
There was one lifeguard on duty which seemed a little light considering the amount of people but honestly, there wasn’t anything that felt dangerous. The water is crystal clear and not that deep so it’s fairly easy to keep an eye on the kids when needed.
Ignore that bad reviews and head down there. The scenery is amazing and the parking is free. Two sun loungers cost €20 for the day and the workers were all welcoming.
Tim Robinson — Google review
It's ok not great. Small children will hurt them self's easily. I would recommend it for children above 10 and just go for one hour. You can book online. That will give a 10% discount.
Waalbrug — Google review
A very big and quite sophisticated inflatable fun assault course in the sea about thirty metres from the beach.
It is a magnet for kids, and many people are willing to pay the 10 Euros per hour fee to jump around on this thing. Life jackets are provided, but are not mandatory for adults (for kids, yes).
The water around the inflatable is about two metres deep. There is a life guard present.
Is such a huge inflatable eyesore really necessary in this beautiful location, though?
Stuart Cook — Google review
Bloom park is a great place to try water sports, as the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the prices reasonable. I jet-skied for 15 minutes and enjoyed every moment of it; you don’t need to have any experience to try the jet-ski’s. I would highly recommend Bloom Park.
FK D — Google review
Great inflatable water park. Quite a difficult challenge for us plump parents but the kids loved it!. €51 for a family of four for 4 hrs if you pre book. Well recommended
Dan P — Google review
Not safe for kids under 10! Who sell the tickets cares only to get paid.
No lifeguard to help if any accident happens. He's sitting there watching us struggle doing anything on this "water park" with our small children without offering help. He had eyes wide open to watch those who were there without tickets.
Left it with crying and scared kids. There's many places that are not secured and kids can easily fall into deep water between/ under the mattress.
They should not accept small kids to go there and at least give people heads up that it's not suitable. We had 3 kids 7 years old and under.
No refound too!

We had a wonderful dream, everything was exceptional and most of all the service was commendable. Congratulations to everyone there was very beautiful and unforgettable. Thank you for everything in the reunion

I actually really enjoyed this, the staff are really friendly and chill, for the price it’s great fun to with with your party. Only downside which is why it’s 3 stars is a couple of the activities, you’re not able to do due to there being no ropes attached which make you able to get over especially when you’re wet. I think if you just add the ropes back on it would be 5*! Would definitely visit again aside from this issue.
Harley “Lemonlaidy” O'connor — Google review
I do not recommend this for people who have a vision defect or lenses, if you fall into the water you have to pass under the blower or climb up with the help of a person on top (they don't let in with diving mask), one lifeguard for the whole inflatable who does nothing, people who you buy your ticket from will not let you swap with other person in your family.
Maja Wasik — Google review
I had an amazing time at this supprizingly big water park. Pricing was definitely reasonable and the park was in good condition. Some parts where not fully attatched to the rest but that did not negatively inpact my experience.
The castle of Kritinia overlooks the Aegean Sea and is an impressive remnant of medieval Rhodes. It was originally built in 1472 by the Knights of St John, and has since been adapted to serve as both a fortification and a watchtower. Today, it remains an important part of the local community and is a popular tourist destination.
Awesome place to visit, watch your step when walking, almost fell 40 feet to the ground. Great place for picturesque views!

Free Historical Experience with Stunning Views and a really cute little Cafe for refreshments afterwards, as you may get a little sweaty from the heat and the walking/climbing.
Excellent Architecture and beautiful views all the way around, inland and sea.
Sammie Starr — Google review
Free entry. Free parking. There are toilet facilities and a cafe. It's open 24 hours. I got here early, so explored alone. I had to do a fair amount of clambering to get around and didn't feel safe. I wouldn't personally bring small children here. It was however a beautiful, rugged castle, full of wild flowers and insects, therefore quite a nature reserve. There was a room which had a stable wooden floor and windows, which was charming.
Carol Newell — Google review
5 stars for the view - actually I would say Infinite stars for the view... - if you are looking for that perfect spot from where you can see the beauty of the closest islands or just embrace the color of the Aegean Sea then this is your place - you need to be in good condition in order to adventure yourself inside the castle and I would recommend not to have small children running around by themselves as accidents might happen. Other than that - take a sit on the rocks - put your phone down - and just enjoy!

Nice castle. Short walk up to it also for very hot days, like when we were there. The view from up there is amazing
Johannes Herbst — Google review
Worth a visit if you're passing by. The best picture of the castle is probably from the carpark! A well maintained stepped path leads up to the entrance but once inside the ground is rough with very limited access.
David Mellor — Google review
I really like castles and this is one that I wouldn't say I loved. Some of it has remained but it should have been more taken cate of. They have fixed stairs going to the palace but inside the are no easy paths to wonder around.
You cannot go through the remains if you are old, with very small kids or with wrong shoes.
Although every June the locals have the medieval festival there which is really nice and they give so much effort to it. Well done to them!

The place is amazing. Medieval castle high above the see, survived in pretty good shape with breathtaking views of the rocks, see and small hazy islands bellow. You can even see Turkey in the distance pretty clearly. We visited in the late afternoon, towards the evening, but not quiet sunset yet and the light was so beautiful. And all of it is totally free. Also, the access road brings you right to the foot of the castle, so no grueling climb in the heat, just 3 minute walk uphill to the entrance. Enjoy!

One of the most spectacular views on Rhodes Island and would have served it's original purpose to great effect.
Lindos Beach, located on the southeast coast of Rhodes, is a renowned beach nestled in a picturesque cove. This popular destination offers visitors a long stretch of sand to enjoy activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and boating. The beach is accompanied by the majestic 4th-century BC Acropolis of Lindos, which overlooks the area and adds to its charm.
Beautiful place, a must see if in Rhodes, go to the Acropolis, but be warned very, very steep, even a climb to get to the beautiful white washed shops, visit St. Paul's Bay as well
Vicky Fletcher — Google review
Good beach, fine sand and restaurants near to the beach. Only minus side was the parking and way down to the beach. But hey, it's Rhodes! It part of the charm!
Recommended place to visit.

Lindos beach was historically where St Paul came ashore to spread Christianity to Rhodes and the shape of the harbour is truly beautiful. Beach is quite small in size and so can get crowded.

5* beauty
5* service
4* accessibility
Great spot for both beach visitors and sailors for anchor stop, specially for North winds. For South winds the bay is pretty closed too, but need to stay near the pier for the best protection. The bottom is sandy, but in Northern part there are rocks, so better to double check the anchor bottom during the day light. There are also bouis closer to the beach, mainly for the small motor boats, and 3 big ones for yachts.
Fantastic view over the castle from the bay. And there is #accessible path from the town to the beach.
Highly recommend!!

Very nice beach, well kept, a little too many turistic sunbeds. The government should do something about the way too many boats approaching from the sea. The water was soon during the day cover with a little bit of oil coming from the boat and you couldn’t even see outside the bay

Have you ever seen those photos of white villages and blue sea beaches in Greece?
Lindos is one of them.
The bay is outstandingly beautiful, the colour of the sea, the atmosphere, the weather that is sunny and pleasant convey to build a perfect day for everyone.
Lots to do for everyone and great spot for snorkelling.
It's a not to be missed day out when you are in Rhodes. Even at night since most restaurants and bars are opened till midnight or beyond.

What a stunning beach! We arrived early in the morning before the crowds and had amazing views as we walked down towards the beach. Lots of options for food by the sand and sea. Gorgeous clear water for swimming. It does get busy.

I recommend a visit to this beach if you have time. You can take a bus in Rhodes in the bus station near harbor for aprox 5 € one way. It takes 1h since it stops several times. Once you arrive you need to walk 5 min to the town that is beautiful. On top of the town there is a castle with great views. The have narrow streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Some of the terrace have great views to castle and beach. There are options to go by tour boat as well from Rhodes. In the beach there are few restaurants and the cost of umbrella is 10€. They have changing rooms. 100% recommend it!

Small! Secluded! Piece of heaven! If you're looking to enjoy Rhodes crystal clear ice cold fresh waters with a mind-blowing view this is your place.
There's free parking and a very nice bar just a couple of minutes up the stairs. Also the sunbeds with umbrella are very reasonably priced at 30€ total. The lady who is renting them is beyond sweet.
Absolutely impeccable experience!

Please don't expect sand tho!

Very nice beach and surprisingly warm(ish) water compared to unheated outdoor swimming pools. Some places offering premium sunbeds €20 each however, a business appears to have closed abandoning stacks of sunbeds so we used those for nothing.

Amazing beach.
The sea is fantastic here, calm and warm. The view on Lindos is breathtaking.
Recommended if you have babies.
Parking for the car in the area nearby will cost you 5 euro for the whole day.

Amazing beach with plenty of sunbdes available to rent from 15 to 20 euros for the whole day depending on the type.
Sandy beach with clear waters and very safe for families with children, good bars and restaurants near.
Parkings spaces near the beach are limited therefore walking down the hill is fine but coming back after a long day can be a little time consuming and tiring.
Reza Shahbazi — Google review
This beach is beautiful and safe for children. The thing that ruins it is the MASSES of sunbeds !! Can there not just be a part of the beach without them ?? This leaves people crowding on top of one another.
If you’re here for the whole day, I definitely recommend renting out a sunbed (€10/15 for 2 beds) but if you’re here for a short while, be prepared for overcrowding.
The water itself is lovely. Clear and really warm in October. You can easily spend a whole day swimming! The water is incredibly shallow so you can walk out 15 metres and the water would still be to the waist.
The beach is clean but the area surrounding it (next to the bars) is full of trash and maybe a bit off putting for tourists and not good for the environment.
It’d be great to spend a day here, but not for a little while!
Olivia — Google review
It was our favorite beach, clear and warm water, so the 11 yo kid spent all day in the water (and he was not the only one), nice views to the town and Acropolis. Maybe because it was begining of September, but we had no problem with overcrowding (on the beach and in the water), we were just amazed where all the people we saw in the town went. We played in the water with the ball daily without having to be always careful about the people nearby. The same thing on the beach, we chose everyday the same beds, but the last 2 Lines were almost empty. We absolutely loved this beach!
Andreea Paniti — Google review
Great beach, sand, water, but do something about the toilets at the bar, they are embarrassing, it's a black stain and embarrassing for what you have there, but after all 5 stars, great place, great beach
Dani — Google review
The good side is that the beach is clean, tidy and has great sand.
My biggest issue with the beaches here including this one is the fact that every square inch is filled with a sunbed which cost from £15 for two.
This isn't bad if you intend on visiting for a full day but I feel a bit of a rip off for visiting for a short time.
The sea isn't the clearest in the area but is still better than many others that I have been to and was pleasant for swimming.
Plenty of restaurant choices on the beach and vendors for sea / boating activities.
Lindos Acropolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains ruins from the Mycenaeans, Byzantines, Knights of St John and Ottomans. The site features stunning ancient remains and long-range coastal views that are out of this world.
Visited around 1 hour before sunset in the evening. The orange glow across the Acropolis was stunning. Highlight of our holiday. A must see. The steps are not as bad as some say I am 55 and managed easily. Well worth the money for the views etc.
Phil Didcote — Google review
History and beauty come at a price. Glad we visited the ruins and experienced the view, however we thought the entry cost of €12 per adult and €6 per child expensive as there were no facilities on site and the site could have been better maintained with the monies charged. If you have walking difficulties or are disabled avoid visiting as its very uneven walking surfaces and at times very steep with no safety rails. The views are lovely but would have been enjoyed more if able to relax on a comfortable chair with a coffee or cold drink.

Stunning area and great for views and photos. We walked up in the mid day heat of July. Would not recommend 🤣 very little shade and very busy! Bring lots of water and if you're bringing little ones... Be prepared to carry them!

Lindos is a city on the island of Rhodes that was once one of the main cities on the island. It was located on the east coast, near a cape that bears his name. It is located 55 km south of the city of Rhodes. They charge you €8 to enter, you can't bring puppies but it's very ironic because there are cats inside and what they tell you is that they defecate or urinate and damage the monument, but cats also relieve themselves, right? And I say this because we travel with an emotional support dog. It is a truly magical place and I highly recommend you go. The little town that is at the foot of the Acropolis is beautiful. You can also buy very nice handicrafts. There are also amazing restaurants with beautiful views.

Amazing place. I strongly recommend the visit. The ticket costs 12€ and the children are free. I recommend visiting early in the morning, after 9 starts to become busy and full of groups of tourists. I didn't have problems getting tickets since I was there on Monday early, but later on maybe it would be better to have it...it got crowded there.

Amazing place with interesting history and breathtaking views. Entry us 12 Euro for adult, 6 Euro for 65+ and free for anyone under 25 years old. I think the place is worth the price. The best place for pictures is at the very end, you can see St Paul's Bay and whole Lindos from there. Would totally recommend visiting.

Visited lindos in January, it was a good opportunity to see this historical monument without a big crowd, all the shops were closed in the town which is normal as they only open during the summer. I've also been in July 2 years, the vibe is completely different, definitely more vibrant, lively and crowded. It's worth it to visit no matter the time.
Cima Sater — Google review
Truly blown away by both the location of this huge temple overlooking Lindos, and the size of the structure as much of it remains.
Cost was €12 for adults and €6 for children but was well worth it. Views are stunning and if you take your time it can take a good couple of hours.
Robert Walker — Google review
The acropolis is incredible. Not going to lie it is a climb and the queue was really long but it was so worth it. Bring lots of water and make sure you cover up if it's sunny because there is very little shade. Wear sensible shoes and allow yourself a few hours to get up there and back again. Absolutely stunning though, would highly recommend.
Rebekah Frost — Google review
Breathtaking ruins of Lindos that not only allow you to immerse yourself in the history, but gives an astounding view of the Lindos area and the bays surrounding. Do be prepared however as the climb is no mean feat, and in the baking heat it really was a challenge!

A must visit this place if you are visiting Rode. The ticket costs € 12. We were lucky, there weren’t very many people, but it’s advisable to visit here in the morning. Climbing is required, but the road is definitely not difficult. The images from above are very impressive!
Dovydas Bogu?as — Google review
It's worth the visit. The outstanding view is probably the reason why you should visit it.
Ticket cost 10 euros and you can buy it online in advance to skip the line. From central parking there is shuttle bus to the village for 50 cents. It saves you about a half of the way and it's just like a one minute drive. You still will have to climb the path to the top from village. It's more useful to take it on the way back, uphill.
Ladislav Velebil — Google review
It's a well preserved acropolis, the best one on the island. But make sure to order your tickets in advance because you can skip the line if you do. I wouldn't recommend this with children as it is a safety hazard on the way up and the way down. Falling is very possible as there are no fences or guardrails. The view is magnificent but the climb can be extremely difficult on warm parts of the day. I would advice bringing water, decent walkingshoes and a hat.
Ken Huys — Google review
Amazing place! We think 🤔 should be a little cheaper for a public attraction... We paid 12E/person in the entrance, there was no line at noon. Buying in advance you will pay 16E. The place isn't very big, you can experience in less than 1h.
Rafael Lucchese Coitinho — Google review
It was an amazing location with absolutely breathtaking scenery from the top of the surrounding area including the coast and fantastic bay below.
My partner and I went on a Sunday and it was free entry which was a very nice surprise. Most importantly it wasn't overcrowded and for taking photos and reading the information of the exhibition was very easy.
The visit of the Acropolis took roughly 1-2 hours with the amount of information and photo opportunities available and even that was doing it briskly.
Would definitely agree it's a must see on a visit to Rhodes!
Lee Carlisle — Google review
Not the most exiting place I've ever looked around to be honest. The whole thing is little more than a ruin, with very little in the way of museum standard exhibits. Access for anyone with mobility issues is a no, also no handrails on the steps etc, so a little tricky for anyone to navigate around. They could do a lot more I feel (exhibit rooms / toilets / etc) and is a bit overpriced at €12 per person. The views from the top of it over Lindos and the surrounding area are pretty phonomenal though, so I've rated it four stars, rather than three.
Ian Drewry — Google review
We arrived really early.. Around 8:30am... Place was peaceful, quiet. We climbed the stairs rather than waling what we thought was a longer path off to the left. Honestly, the stairs are not too bad at all.. I guess for elderly or really young it would certainly be a challenge.
There are no barriers on the stars so you need to be cautious about that. Good footwear highly recommended.
We managed to get some cracking pictures without having to wait for a space. Would recommend.
We were up and down in 40mins..just in time for the streams of buses offloading and I mean there were literally hundreds of people walking towards the acropolis.. Would do it again. 👍🏻

Absolutely spectacular! Free access to roam around these ruins with lots of interesting (and discreet) information boards. €12 entry fee well worth the money. If you visit Lindos you have to come to the Acropolis.
NB: closes at 5.20pm and an hour is sufficient to go round everything so getting there later in the day ensures no crowds and it’s cooler - more atmospheric too.

It is a great antique sightseeing on Rhodes island. It is situated at the top of the Lindos town hill, and you need to be quite sportive to get here by winding streets, full of stairs. No accessible way to get inside, cause the whole medieval town is a challenge to walk for disabled people due to high elevation. Worth visit for beautiful ancient ruins.

We went to Lindos Acropolis in the middle of November as part of the private tour, fairly early in the morning to beat the crowd. There was hardly anybody there, and we had the Acropolis all to ourselves.
It took us 15 min to go up there. There are some nice view of the ocean, the bay, and the town of Lindos beneath it. We saw a few cats as we were exploring.
As we came down, there were a lot more people going up, and we had to wait as some of the paths are very narrow that only one person can go through.
I highly recommend the Lindos Acropolis, but go there early.

Extremely overcrowded and overpriced. There’s free entry for children from EU countries. Otherwise €12 entry which is definitely not worth it, unless you love history but there aren’t many facts around anyway! Entry should be €5. Extremely overcrowded in October. Almost no shade anywhere and it’s so hot! And the donkeys are exploited for tourists. Sad.

Stunning , but some of the buildings are rebuilds.
V uneven underfoot , so wouldn't advise for those who have disability problems.
Quite a climb to top, can get donkey 🫏 but at a cost!
12 euros to get in and quite a queue to buy tickets even in October.
Few people trying to jump queue.
Fantastic views from top.
Lindos, a charming town on the Greek island of Rhodes, is steeped in history and known for its clifftop acropolis dating back to the 4th century. The Temple of Athena Lindia and the Castle of the Knights of St. John are among its notable landmarks. The village's whitewashed buildings house treasures like the Virgin Mary of Lindos Church with its 15th-century frescoes.

Clear, calm waters & sweeping coastal views are among the highlights at this quaint beach.
Crystal clear water and an amazing view – we really enjoyed this beach. It might be a bit pricey (40€ for sunbeds, 70€ for tents); however, they create a wonderful atmosphere with comfortable beds spaced out & maintained well (unlike other beaches). If you're visiting during the high season, make sure to arrive before 11 am to secure available beds.

Lovely bay which you can swim across to the other side. Beach beds are a bit pricey at €30 for 2 however you could stay for as long as you wanted

A magical place for a swim or paddle, in crystal calm waters, surrounded by stunning scenery and a few boats, with the acropolis towering way above you. There's a narrow channel you can swim through, out to the open sea, and lots of great rock-diving points (at your own risk!). The beach cafe has basic food and drinks, and the sun loungers / parasols are pricey but worth it if you're staying a while. One of my most memorable swims ever!

One of cool sand beach in Rhodes. The spot there is more expensive as in the rest of the island (20e for 2 person) but the feeling there is amazing. Recommend to come to morning to get your spots. Amazing restaurant and also good for snorkeling. You can also take boat trip for one hour.

WOW!!!! What a place, it truly is beautiful. There is a sloping path down to the beach which is covered in sun loungers facing into the clear waters of the bay. There is a cost for the loungers which is dealt with by the bar owner at the end of the beach. The beach is surrounded by hills with a small opening to the sea, the waters are lovely and clear and excellent for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Great place for the kids to paddle and spend the day.

Totally worth one hour driving. The desk chairs are really comfortable. You can have two of them an a umbrella for 20 € per day. There is a lovely bar/restaurant and they serve you on the beach. You can also eat in the restaurant. It's a bit expensive but the food was delicious.

Great water at this intimate beach bay the restaurant was fantastic. The sun bed price is a little expensive

A very nice, cozy and clean beach, with an almost private bay and sandy beach.
Come early to reserve your spot at the forefront.
If you are diving with Lepia dive center , as it is their main dive spot, your family members or friends who are not diving can relax on the beach while away.
You can from there also go on a deep sea fishing 🎣 trip with Mike or hop on the yellow submarine glass bottom ship 🚢 or have a nice lunch at the beach restaurant.
All in all, this bay is one of our favourites in Rhodes.
Enjoy your stay! 🇬🇷

A place where the beauty of water colour attracts your eyesight.. From above it looks like an idealistic place.. In reality, if its high season you have to be quite early if you want to lie in the beach and use one of the sun beds. Cliffy beach.. Advisable to wear swimming shoes..

This is the most beautiful beach in Rodos. Totally worth a visit! Though make sure you go very early as there is almost no space for people who don't want to pay the very expensive sunbeds in the bar there. Everyone just had to put their belongings on top of a rock and the staff of the bar that occupies the beach was shouting at many people to not put their umbrellas or things near their sunbeds. There also not so many sunbeds as they fill up very quick plus many of them are reserved already so you might not get the chance to find one if you go in the afternoon. When we went we paid 40€ for the sunbeds but it was so totally worth it as we stayed there from 10am to 5pm.
The Pefkos Beach Studios & Apartments is a hotel located on the Greek island of Rhodes and offers 2 outdoor pools, a restaurant, and a cocktail bar. The staff are amazing and the food is good. It's very family friendly and has great facilities for children including 2 swimming pools and 2 paddling pools.
My first stay at this hotel and I am struggling to find fault. Amazing staff, good food, extremly family friendly, nice children's play area. 2 swimming pools and 2 paddling pools for the very young. You will want to return. Great for couples and families

I must say this was the best hotel I’ve ever visited the service was absolutely phenomenal. During the week of my holiday i was feeling incredibly sick and thought my holiday was ruined but every single one of the staff here was sympathetic or helpful towards me. The maid checked up on me everyday the receptionist also checked up on me and translated the paper from the pills i was given. The restaurant staff in nostalgia were incredibly helpful and sympathetic checking up on me constantly making sure i had food that was safe for me too eat as I couldn’t eat certain foods due to my illness. The bar staff in the palm cocktail bar were very comforting and caring, the rest of the staff were incredibly nice and polite and I can’t thank this hotel enough. Absolutely a great stay and highly suggested!

Went here late Oct. This place is in a great location for travelling into Lindos etc. . We had a double bedroom apartment . Very clean. Everyday maid service. Pools were great and the bar and restaurant were very good. Goingback next year .

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Greece. Pools are lovely and clean. Plenty of sunbeds and comfortable with the mattress on top. Pools were no deeper than 1.3m deep so ideal for me who hates being out of my depth. Sarah & Jannis on reception are very helpful.

Two weeks and only three cold showers and two thunder storms in early May, this is a good hotel, friendly staff, good location and nice pools with a supper market on site.

Once again, Pefkos Beach excelled. If you want a chilled holiday, this is the place to stay. Friendly service from all staff. Food is good and made fresh.
Only downside is if you have mobility problems there are lots of steps so request a lower room.
Also recommend a private transfer or taxi from the airport - bit of a trek in the coach.

Not impressed at all. Busted pipes, smell coming up from sink, no hot water working for a few hour. Ants everywhere and beds so uncomfortable

Rooms are spacious, clean, fab shower, decor a little dated, hairdryer was useless. Gorgeous pools, 3 pools including 1 childrens pool. There's a bar for drinks and food.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We had to get air con as our room was in the sun all day. The view from our room was fab. The rooms were clean and the staff went above and beyond- especially when we extended our stay. Thank you all

Enjoyed our stay again prices have crept up everywhere in Rhodes you can expect to pay €25 per day for 2 beds and one umbrella. So if you have kids you should include the money when budgeting your holiday there is a small part of beach which we bought Leila for kids and umbrellas to cut the cost it is a brisk 5 minutes to the beach and quite a up hill walk to get back but plenty of watering holes to stop if you overheat. Also the beach has gone to pot filthy sand sorry 😢

Nice place to stay - great location in the centre of lots of different things. Liked pool bar with pool tables. Enjoyed food here a couple if times during our stay. Would have liked some more entertainment in offer here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Basic apartment that suited our needs but smaller than expected. Door stop behind sink terrible hazzard - could open other way? Overall a great week stay in the quieter part of the season. 1st time in Rhodes and pefkos.

While on our family holiday this is where we stayed,
Staff were second to none, so friendly and helpful, maids made towel animals which the kids loved, the bar staff made a fuss of the children also and were just generally friendly,
Location was spot on, it's located on the main street near all restaurants and a very short walk from the beach, only thing that let this place down was the apartment seemed a little tired, would assume a revamp will come up in the next year or so.
Will def come back one day and would recommend though
