Beach
Fornillo Beach is a picturesque and secluded beach that boasts crystal-clear waters, a comfortable bathhouse complete with lounge chairs, and an on-site restaurant. Compared to the main beach in Positano, Fornillo Beach is a stunning location that provides visitors with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Accessible either by foot via numerous steps or by boat via one of its restaurants, this intimate beach offers ample opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment.
Best place to visit and enjoy the view. Be careful though there are a lot of stairs. Your trip must be planned well. I suggest you come down the stairs to this beach and then take the small connecting bridge between it and the other grand beach and then from the grand beach take the road up. As you can easily get stuck doing 300 stairs plus! Oh and be careful it’s full of rocks and pebbles. Fantastic beach though super chill amazing vibes.
Dr. Yasmin Kottait — Google review
This beach is about 10 min from the main beach and feels secluded. The walk there is beautiful but the sun sets much sooner there. Nice to get away from the crowds. Definitely should visit!
Daniel Alvarez — Google review
Generally it's all about the view of Positano and the picturesque landscape. More interesting for a postcard than to be there. The beach itself is grey, rocky, unpleasantly cold sea and rocky seabase. In addition climbing up the stairs is a real torture. You get a sunbed for €20 pp.
Jan V — Google review
I thought this little beach was Just beautiful compared to the main one in Positano. Our hotel arranged with one of the restaurants on the beach to reserve sunbeds and umbrellas. We got four sun beds and two umbrellas for 100 euro on August. Incredibly expensive but definitely worth it because that sun is hot! There are two ways to get here. One is to walk and involves a lot of steps. The other, is to take the boat that is offered from one of the restaurants that gives you the same beds. They take you there you pay for the sunbeds keep them all day and then they bring you back. They have boats frequently going back to Positano.
Raheel Shaharyar — Google review
This is such a beautiful area and so worth the hike to get there, take the steps down but take the street way back up it’s so much easier ❤️
Candie Kader — Google review
It was rainy when we were here, but still worth it. Bring water shoes, as the beach is full of rocks and pebbles and it hurts to walk barefoot.
Krista Billings — Google review
Beautiful beach in positano and not too busy! We easily found a spot and swam in the sea in April, but watch out for jellyfish! There is a bar on the beach that does pizza and drinks, and the beach itself is easily accessible from positano centre via the walkway, or from the zigzagging stairs above it. Definitely worth a visit and a swim!
M M — Google review
Beautiful scenario of this beach, where you can have a dip while you're enjoying an amazing view over Positano and the same Fornillo tower. To achieve this place you have to walk, no way driving, but it is worthy.
Manuel — Google review
We didn’t try the food but the margarita I had was great and they had good cocktail options! The view at sunset is fabulous and you can even hear the waves lapping quietly against the shore. You can come during the day and get a lay down sun chair for 10 Euros (in Oct). The servers were very friendly and I felt like i was out of the hubbub and on a sandy beach in a fishing village in Mexico.
Gary ONeal — Google review
The beach is incredibly beautiful, with its serene atmosphere enhanced by the fact that it's not very crowded. What's even better is its convenient location, just a short 5-7 minute walk away from the ferry port.
ASRAF YEASIN MAHI — Google review
Lovely beach, much more quiet than the main Positano beach. It’s about 10 minute walk from the main beach with lots of picture opportunities along the way. Uppon arrival you get offered an sunbed for 50 euros per person - don’t take it! Walk down to the blue umbrella’s and the price falls to 30€ per person! Beach is clean, you get a changing room and toilet facilities if you take the sunbed. Also a little taxi boat trip to the main beach is included in the price when you’re ready to head back. A total win since the walk back is going uphill and is a bit more difficult.
Raimonda Cernikovs — Google review
Very nice beach but be aware od the numerous stairs that has to be descend & then ascent for the visit on the beach. Though it is in my opinion worth it! Compared to the main beach in Positano it is much more calmer and more beautiful. Less people and extremely beautiful view! We were on the public part of the beach wich is free and has small round stones as a base but it was not a problem to go to the water at all!
Simona Landlová — Google review
Lovely beach, much more quiet than the main Positano beach. It’s about 10 minute walk from the main beach with lots of picture opportunities along the way. Just a heads up though, all of the space on the beach is taken up by beach chairs you need to pay for to. Very unfair considering it is supposed to be open to everyone. A total win since the walk back is going uphill and is a bit more difficult.
Anthony M — Google review
This beach is so much nicer/calmer than the main beach in positano. The walk over isn’t bad at all either. The rocks are hot/painful to walk on without shoes!
Brooklyn Reinhardt — Google review
Absolutely beautiful. Secluded beach from the main positano beach. Just as beautiful
Daliany Camacho — Google review
We enjoyed this little gem. We got here around 10am in early August and it was not crowded at all. The water is clear, cool and refreshing. We rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for €50 for the entire day. Front row costs more. There are MANY steps and not much signage. Nevertheless, we were still able to find the place using Google Maps. It is definitely worth paying for a small data service package (via eSim card) if you are not living in Italy. The beach is small so come as early as possible. It has smooth pebble rocks but it still hurts without water shoes. We still enjoyed!

Horrible experience. We had table reservations and we were enjoying ourselves till a bouncer decided to kick my husband out for no real reason. He went to get a napkin from the bar and was followed by a bouncer who wanted him out. After reading the reviews I can see that tourist don't seem to be very welcomed at this establishment. Even if you follow "guidelines" by having your own table they still seem to do as they please. Your better off finding other places to enjoy.
FutureMr&Mrs Menendez — Google review
This is a place you come to with big groups to party it up. Or you can go and make friends with everyone there, all the guests seem very nice. Service - The service here was terrible. They told us we would need to order with the waitstaff but it would take them 20 minutes to even come and take an order and another 20 minutes before we got our drinks. Drinks - The drinks were okay, pretty average, definitely not worth the price.
Forum Shah — Google review
Outside of the drinks not being the strongest and the bouncers wanting to make sure you’re staying in Positano, it’s a very cool place. They have a restaurant outside on the beach ( didn’t try just went for the club experience ). The inside of the club is actually really cool. Built in the mountain so it feels like you’re partying in a cave. Loud music and it’s open till late. Overall definitely a place worth experiencing!
Omar Bismil — Google review
Beautiful one of a kind nightclub, great music, good drinks, fun DJ’s! Don’t worry about all the reviews from people who never made it inside. Arrive early before the club opens and enjoy a drink and the beautiful view in their lounge upstairs then roll down into the club after it opens, you can thank me later!
David Freeman — Google review
100% worth the visit! We went on a Sunday night. No lines, no cover, not super packed, but definitely enough people to have fun! We got there at 11 pm or so. More and more people trickled in. The bar service was great! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of drinks. The cocktails were great and cheaper than expected. My wife and I went together. We saw a lot of younger people, couples, and people celebrating occasions. Enjoy!
Anthony Swain — Google review
Ended up here on the night before my birthday. It was dead around 10:30pm and we thought it may not get any busier due to low season. However it started filling up around 11:30/12am and my partner and I had great fun dancing the night away. The club itself seems to be built into a cave, and it’s a cool look from the inside. Prices aren’t cheap, but expected for a nightclub.
Dominic Goddard-John — Google review
We were turned down at the door after they let the group behind us pass through being the only two black ppl in line seemed kinda odd I guess they didn't think we spoke Italian however I know enough to understand no mullies as he shoowed me and my wife away if you are black dnt waste your time

Had a really fun night here. Super unique cave-like ambience, right on the beach of Positano. Good DJ/music on the night I went and solid service from the bar
Harry Wray — Google review
I think this is my least favourite club I have been to so far. If you’re a guy then don’t bother because they only wanted to let girls in all night. Bouncers were super rude to anyone not female. After getting in through the back entrance, I spent an hour in the club before leaving as the music was shocking and the drinks were crazy expensive. Would not recommend this place to anyone
Theo Barnes — Google review
We did not have to pay to get in, but this was not the place to be. Maybe during the summer when there are a bunch of tourist, but we went in early April and the crowd was dead. The music was old American pop from 2014 and the space is very small. There were also quite a few young (under 21) people there.
Llaran Turner — Google review
Sept. 19. Had an amazing time in this literal cave club! Built into the cliff it creates amazing acoustic and not to mention the DJ was on point!💯 Great bar and just super FUN time!
Heather Howe — Google review
Directly on the beach of Positano, this restaurant is one of a kind. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. The club, which is built right into the cliff rock, was one of the nicest venues I have been to for drinks. Overall, one of my highlights during my travels along the coast.
Marco Samchee — Google review
Probably one of my favourite clubs! I’m not usually a house music person, however the music here was so much fun and my friends and I danced and sang so much. The location as well is amazing being inside the rock. Drinks are very expensive but was also expecting that considering the location.
Georgina Conlan — Google review
100% worth the visit! We went on a Friday night. No lines, no cover (we just walked right in), not super packed, but definitely enough people to have fun! We got there around 12:30. The bar service was great! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of drinks. The cocktails were great and cheaper than expected (€15 per cocktail). My husband and I went together and had the time of our life. Highly recommend it!!
Ramsha Sohail — Google review
Such a rude experience! They didn’t let any of the boys I was with in because we were from Australia. They had no explanation just so rude. Let a group of 10 girls go in and any Italian man but not us. Losing money. Stupid. Do not go. They’re expensive and horrible

Outdoor Activities
The Lido Arienzo Beach Club in Positano offers a picturesque beach with shuttle service, a restaurant, and attentive beach service. The stunning views of the Amalfi coast provide an ideal escape from the crowded town of Positano. Visitors can also relax at Bagni d'Arienzo or find serenity at Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta e Cripta Medievale. While the packages offered are good value, improvements could be made to the bathroom facilities.
Fantastic beach club in Positano! Great service and a little further away from the main ferry area of positano. Great for a whole day chill before heading into positano for dinner! Book online well in advance to not be disappointed but the booking service was very easy and straightforward. If you like to laze around with music, table service, views, a little secluded and a nice beach to dip on and out of. Definitely make a day of it!
John Randles — Google review
A great private beach right next to Positano. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and crowd there. Be prepared to pay though. We walked over from Positano, they need to put a sign up on the road, as there is nothing indicating which staircase to take. Of course there is a complimentary taxi, but we chose to walk. That's my only feedback, otherwise it's a great day!
chris stubbens — Google review
Loved everything about this beach club. The privacy, organization and comfort is utmost prioritized. The private boat ride to the club is easily accessible on the main beach area of Positano. I’d recommend getting on the first boat to make the most of your time at the beach club! The beach chairs are comfortably lined with a bed cushion and towels provided are thick and plush. The best part of the club may be the evian water mist provided to cool off with after tanning under the hot sun. The showers and bathrooms are clean and easily accessible at the back of the club. We sat in the third row from the front which was perfect. The champagne service makes the experience elite! The timed lunch service also makes it so seamless to enjoy the day without it being absolutely crowded and packed. All in all, expensive yes, but this beach club changed my brain chemistry.
Janice Chu — Google review
Great escape from the crowded and busy positano town. The packages are good value considering all they include. The bathroom could do with a co side rate improvement considering you’re spending multiple hours there. The service and food were okay. But overall would recommend coming to Arienzo. Beach club. The water is great, and the views are stunning.
Javier Lopez — Google review
We had a great time at Arienzo! We did one of the couples packages and felt it was actually really great value (fruit, champagne, 3 course lunch, etc). So much better than the Spiaggia Grande, which we did the day before. Beach staff was attentive, food for lunch was super tasty (we got the tuna, salmon, and grilled squid), and it was just generally more relaxing. One of the boat captains was also really helpful. I accidentally left my shoes under the lounge chair and they went back to get them for me, which was really nice.
Ali Feldman — Google review
Greatful to have been able to have a private and reserved beach experience over dealing with the crowded Positano beaches. Overall we really enjoyed it. Pros: access to the beachclub was easy and convenient, the times to leave and arrive were flexible. The beach itself was small and quaint, the beach club provided everything you needed from shade to towels, drinks, food, water activities etc. and the location was very nice. Cons: the rocky beach was tough to walk in so make sure and bring water shoes, bathrooms were limited, so expect to wait in line, food won't blow you away, but the options were decent. I would recommend this place and option to travellers looking to enjoy the Positano beaches without having to content with the crowds during the busy season. Also, make sure you book in advance, we went in September and it was fully booked the day we were there.
Melissa T — Google review
We had a great time at Arienzo Beach Club!! Nice private club reached by a boat that is provided in the price! Highly recommend if you want a nice chill day at the beach.
Michael Mandarino — Google review
Had the "ARIENZO BASIC PACKAGE". It was a fun and relaxing experience. Nice to just have some lunch, swim, enjoy the music, and relax. Nice for something different. I just used public beaches the rest of the trip but this was a good experience.

Live your best life... you don't want to miss Arienzo - it's a vibe! The beach is tucked away surrounded by rocks with breathtaking views and crystal clear turquoise water. Accessible by boat from Positano in just 5min. The service is super friendly, everyone there will make sure you're having a great time. It's the perfect spot to take magical Instagram snaps with your tribe or relax with your special person. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back!
valousometimes — Google review
Arienzo Beach club was worth the price! We met at nice lounge area on the beach for our boat shuttle to take us. Love that we did that as it was a beautiful scenic boat ride along the coast. After the quick 10min boat ride we arrived to staff waiting to take our reservation and show us to our seats. Water, chilled champagne and towels at our seats. The staff is kind and very attentive. Great music with a nice sized lunch included with our tickets. Cocktails are extra and a little pricey. The stones in the beach make it a “little” uncomfortable to walk down at the water. All in all a great relaxing day on a beautiful beach with attentive staff.
m malinas5 — Google review
Service was the best we’ve experienced in Italy so far. Staff were so attentive!! Would recommend bringing sandals you don’t mind getting wet, the beach is rocks not sand so can be a bit difficult to navigate barefoot. The drink menu was extensive and food was also very good. I would recommend making a reso to eat at the restaurant versus at your beach chair.
Brendan Hedges — Google review
Please do not go We had an awful experience just with the boat pilot This person was driving too fast and too close to the boats on the mooring. We I tried to let him know that was dangerous he just aggressively answered:” I am going to pass back and forward every 5 minutes my way and if you are not happy just leave… I pass the others diplomatic Italians’ words. Not enough happy of this he was accelerating on purpose when arriving close to us to make bigger waves. I would certainly not encourage a business that covers this kind of behaviour. I the case we might have any intentions to go to that beach this is a big no no Can you imagine the experience if all the staff has the same reference. For them we are only a bag of $ with feet. Run away!!! And if you are somewhat concerned about your safety be very careful before boarding a boat with such drivers this is against so many basic safety and courtesy (if this word even exists in their vocabulary) rules on the sea , yes it applies even more at less than 300m from the coast. Can you imagine a collision with someone swimming… I hope this comment will help. Thank you for reading
Eric Testi — Google review
My husband and I booked Arienzo while we were on the coast for our Honeymoon last year. It was by far one of our favorite days! The music, staff, and food were beyond incredible. We even had rain for the first half of the day, and it didn’t stop them from their exceptional service and providing a great experience! Nothing beat swimming in the ocean, in the rain, while listening to the DJ play! We’ll remember that day forever!
Sarah Hehe — Google review
Save your money! My girlfriend and I booked a 4th row package, we had high expectations as it was nearly $400 Canadian for the 2 of us.. The boat ride over was nice as there is a private “water taxi” to get you there and were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and 2 bottles of water, however the food was very mediocre! My girlfriend has the grilled octopus which was delicious, I got the grilled vegetables which was okay however the main courses of fresh caught fish gnocchi and broccoli pasta was beyond gross! I had lost my appetite after the main so much that the selection of desserts were off the table for us! In hindsight would save the money and book a beach club that doesn’t require full packages, I don’t know how this place has so many 4-5 star reviews! Just a private beach full of pretentious, snobby tourists!
Scott Bateman — Google review
the beach is really pretty. you can access it for free! there is just a little bit of stuff swimming around near the shore. if you swim around the right corner you get a beautiful beach with very few and without the music ;) the music from this private beach is annoying
Linus Klocker — Google review
Cool beach spot - of the 3 beach clubs we visited though, this was our least favorite. Definitely more of a DJ club and Instagram influencer-y vibe than a lido relaxing beach club. We were in the 5th row and the speaker was right behind us pretty loud all day. If you’re into that sort of thing, great. If not, do one of the first two rows or pick a different spot. They did have a saxophone guy that went around and played for like 2-3 hours. Pretty cool touch. Tip the man. Food at lunch was very average, but it’s built into the price so can’t complain. Overall - if you know what you’re getting into, this will be a fun day, less of a relaxing one.

Sights & Landmarks
Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta is a magnificent Catholic church situated in the charming town of Positano. It showcases a stunning Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary and was once part of a monastery. The church provides an atmosphere of serenity, making it an ideal place for contemplation. However, some visitors have suggested that real candles would be preferable to electric ones that are currently used throughout most parts of the church.
Beautiful Church. Recommend visiting if in Positano. Wish they had real candles instead of electric ones. Most of the Church has electric candles, which don't look good apart from a small circle of candles at the back of the church. It also has a coin machine, which gives you a Beautiful souvenir coin, for €2. It is located in the foyer.

Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta in Positano is a truly enchanting destination that made my visit to this coastal town even more memorable. Situated in the heart of Positano, this church is a captivating blend of historical charm and spiritual significance. The intricate facade and well-preserved interior showcase a remarkable display of artistic craftsmanship, providing visitors with a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, commonly known as the Positano Church, is a prominent landmark in the picturesque town of Positano, located on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The church's bell tower stands tall next to the main structure and adds to the church's visual appeal. It is often depicted in photographs and postcards showcasing Positano's beauty. The main attraction within the church is the Byzantine icon of the Black Madonna, also known as the Madonna di Positano. The 13th-century wooden icon is believed to have been brought to Positano by sailors from the Byzantine Empire and is highly venerated by the locals.

Beautiful and welcoming. I had the fortune to attend mass on Pascua 2022 Really special! For some reason, the outside steps always smell like urine from what/who, I don’t know?

Beautiful Church in Positano which is very hard to miss! This is along your way whether your are heading to the beach or the sea side / waterfront restaurants. Beaches
Spiaggia di Positano Marina Grande, also known as Spiaggia Grande, is a popular pebble beach along the Amalfi coast. It's one of the largest beaches in Positano and offers both free and private areas. While it can get crowded, visitors can take a coastal walk to the more intimate Fornillo beach. The beach provides stunning views of the cliffside town and is a must-see when exploring the Amalfi coast.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Driving is scary down the narrow winding road. Many shops along the road down to the beach.
Brooke Saz — Google review
Little crowdy, but view of Positano from the beach is always worth it.
Jakub Jakimiuk — Google review
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly quiet perhaps due to off season. The pebble beach and the views from ground level up is amazing and a must see if you're travelling around Amalfi coast. There are lots of steps to get down and recommend taking a bus when you go back up to street levels as it's quite a climb. Disappointed that most of the restaurants are closed off season.
Sanka Illangakoon — Google review
Public beach is like 10% of the whole beach, there is space here for like 100 people, which means in July there is barely any room. Rest of the beach is private. Otherwise the town and cliffs are beautiful to look at.

Overestimated and overcrowded. Too many people not justified by the beauty of the place and making the place less welcoming.

Seafood restaurant
Chez Black is a historic restaurant that has been serving delicious seafood since 1949. Located on the Spiaggia Grande promenade, this maritime-themed trattoria offers a unique dining experience with its boat-like decor and beachfront terrace. The menu features delectable dishes such as sea urchin pasta, mussels, grilled fish, and the infamous heart-shaped pizza. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a popular spot for locals, tourists, and even celebrities.
Great restaurant by the beach of Positano the place is swarming with people but it’s good to overlook the beach sitting in this restaurant. We had dessert and dinner on two separate occasions. The dinner is just amazing. Best food we have had in Positano. I completely recommend the Milanese veal cutlet and the spaghetti. We also had the mixed salad was yum. Service is fast and people are friendly. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and serve you great delicious food. Completely recommend for many many reasons .

Fantastic restaurant with a delicious food! They accommodated 16 of us on a long table. Very friendly customer service. There was a bit of a wait for the food but I guess they wanted to ensure all of the mains came out at the same time. Would definitely recommend and very close to the port/beach front.
Y Rose — Google review
Food was meh, service was worse- took us forever to flag down a waiter each time. Definitely a tourist trap and we had much better meals. The location is great and the restaurant itself is cute. I’d recommend others over this.
Lissa Kline — Google review
The food was good (spaghetti with fried zucchine was better than the pizza we ordered, which had only a few leaves of basil). The service was okay, but probably could have been better given how many people were on staff. Great for people watching.
Cindy Marin — Google review
Great location, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. We started with wine, good quality for the price. The calamari was great. Everything was fresh. The pizza was good and shaped like a heart! Even enjoyed the dessert. You are paying for the location. It is convenient to the boat dock.
Cori Harper — Google review
Almost didn’t stop by because it felt like a tourist trap being so close to the shore and so many tables. But so happy we did - the service is amazing, the fried shrimp and squid was some of the best seafood, and tried cuttlefish for the first time (which was outstanding). Desserts were good too (chocolate tort and lemon delight).
Carlee Simon — Google review
Cute place and good service for all the instagramers. If you are looking for a foodie experience, not that good. Frozen shrimp on the pizza in a fishing town, and only clams and mussels on the seafood pasta (the mussels pasta is 7€ cheaper and you are only leaving a few clams behind…). You will need days or weeks reservation if you want a front row table, which honestly doesn’t have the best view as there are many boats blocking the sea and beach. Many other options in this beautiful town with better food and view.
Alex Gallego — Google review
Over-all the food quality was not that good. I think the tuna for the salad was canned. The shrimp in our seafood platter was almost raw (very mushy tasting shrimp). It is a very tourist-ie restaurant with a decent view but if you are a foodie, this is not the place for you. Lemon aide was very sour. Ice tea was very sweet. I mixed them to make a lemon aide iced tea (which ended up tasting much better). Everything was 115 € i did like my seafood spaghetti though. that was the best part of our meal (oh the bread was also very good)

Since it was the slower season we were able to eat their multiple times on our trip and we kept wanting to go back. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff and great food right at the beach of positano. The pastas are phenomenal (black ink, lobster, sea urchin) and the selection of wines and sparkling wines is great. The fish is great and fresh and the experience overall was great.

We showed up early with no reservation (around 7) and had no issues getting seated! Our tuna tartar was phenomenal!! The tuna was so fresh it would melt in your mouth. The risotto was on the bland side, but the scampi with mixed seafood was delicious! The amount of seafood you get for the price is substantial and the flavor was nice and light. The tiramisu was great as well. If you show up to Positano without reservations it’s worth giving it a try.

First restaurant we tried in Positano. It was delicious!!!! Great staff. Alfredo our waiter, was so friendly, cute and funny!! We ordered Lasagna, T-bone steak, grilled white fish, and French fries. Zero complaints. Everything was delicious and as expected. Love their dishes and atmosphere. Perfect spot for people watching as well. Coming back to try the Nerana Spaghetti (zucchini in Spaghetti) heard great things about it!! Update* Came back a few days later to try their Zucchini Pasta. Do not miss this dish. Unbelievable.

Great location and great atmosphere. Host / owner was nice to seat us as we didn’t have a reservation. Emailed a couple times a month prior to our trip but no response. Wait staff are so busy and service is not great. Ordered a second drink and never got it. Food was ok. Busy & loud place for those who like the hype. Location definitely gives this place it’s status in my opinion.

We visited Italy in June and July. Positano was our first stop. A friend recommended Chez Black and while we were only there 4 nights, we dined there twice. The owner’s family had a table nearby, and the owner came to our table on both occasions. We asked for the same server the second time we were there. The service and food is fabulous. Ask for a table overlooking the walkway to have a front row seat to the action.

Food was delicious and service was good. They give you complimentary bread and olive oil so that’s very nice considering the prices of these dishes. We got the lasagna and baked fish with potatoes ! Oh and limoncello spritz’s (very strong lol) Would come back!

This is a tourist trap in Positano ... Food is not bad .. They add cover charge without telling you. The host will rush to seat you and try to squeeze you in showing they are doing you a favor. The staff in general was nice .. but when I asked them about this cover charge they said oh we can take it off. Shady practice.

We got a table without reservation. The staff is nice. The food is little expensive. Taste wise the food is nice. We ordered pasta and pizza.
Sayali Mandale — Google review
The most popular pasta was apparently the spaghetti with sea urchins for €52, but, I found the ratio of sea urchin to spaghetti to be rather low - the taste was too mild for me. Atmosphere and location was great though, and toilets were clean.
Arshad Rahman — Google review
The restaurant was super lively and the atmosphere was great ! That’s where all the positives end. Food is overpriced and very very mediocre and to add to that they add a cover charge of some 20€ per head to your bill. Service was good but most definitely skip the experience. Spaghetti Meatball - 3/5 Fish with potatoes - 2/5 Margarita - 4/5 Tiramisu - 2/5

La Sponda, situated at Le Sirenuse in Positano, is renowned as one of the top dining establishments in the area. It is widely considered to be a highly romantic spot, offering a unique experience with its terrace overlooking the beautifully lit town. Accompanied by live music from seasoned musicians playing mandolin and guitar, diners are treated to an unforgettable evening. Chef Gennaro Russo's culinary creations are both refined and contemporary, showcasing local flavors that are vibrant and pure.
We ate here several times while staying at Le Sirenuse and it was really good. I give it a 5/5 for service and atmosphere as it truly is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever seen with a magnificent view of Positano. The service here is top notch and spot on with any high caliber restaurant experience I have been to, but you also pay for it. Without the service and atmosphere being this good, I would have actually given this place a 3 or 4 star review based on my first meal. We selected the tasting menu on our first dinner here and we were not that impressed, especially for what it cost and the food quailty and quantity that we experienced. The opening chef’s appetizer was ehh.. next came the tuna with a fairly strong fish smell and taste, ehh.. then a morsel of the sea bass which was good but way too small. Then the pork which was also good but far too little. Finally the dessert which was good. Thankfully they give you plenty of extra bread and a final dessert or we would have left and got more food. That experience, food wise was not worth the price paid. But having top notch service, kind and attentive waiters, live music that floated between tables, a beautiful view- that kept it at a passing grade. The next evening we opted to select our own foods in lieu of the tasting menu and were much more pleased! We went with the ravioli which were decadent! Then we enjoyed the suckling pig thigh which was cut and plated at the table. That was truly fantastic and was the saving grace to forget about the previous nights affairs and give this restaurant the full 5 stars. The pork was absolutely mouth watering delicious. Definitely do not come here with a budget or you will leave only affording a drink as it is an expensive restaurant but as stated, the experience was top notch.

A good group experience. They have plenty of seating. Our view was amazing. Bathrooms were clean. Food was fresh but only okay. Prices were as expected for the area we were in. Did have a run in with a couple cleanliness things with our food but overall was a good experience.

It’s rare to have one’s very high expectations exceeded but La Sponda was truly an unforgettable experience. Our server Giovanni and the numerous other staff members who we met over the evening made our dinner worth every penny and more. We were celebrating our anniversary and they acknowledged it several times through the evening. The food was excellent, great wine recommendations, and the ambiance could not be beat. We have been to Positano 3 or 4 times and will certainly be back next time if we can get a reservation. Thank you La Sponda team!

The most beautiful restaurant I ever went to. By far the best service. 2 out of 3 things to be an incredible restaurant. Now it comes down to the food. Superb amuse, realy promissing. Than we had the Carpaccio that was lacking of taste, quality Good but nothing more even no Olive oil no pepper no parmegiano and the Balsamico wasn‘t strong enough to cover. Fish was superb. Filled Tortellos where overcooked and filling wasn‘t cooked enough. The Tortellos where just boiled in to hot water. Sum Up: One of the Best experiences you can have but lacking a little bit in taste and technic sometimes also Michelin Prices.

Absolutely stunning place, the view is to die for, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious, the coffee was exquisite. The prices are what you’d expect from a place of this much popularity. An absolute treat while visiting Positano, couldn’t say more good things about our experience. Will most definitely recommend! We decided to throw the budget out of the window and go to La Sponda for one of our dinners in Positano. The food was great, but it’s the service and atmosphere which makes your final bill make more sense. We ended up spending €165 per person for a dinner with two appetizers, two mains, dessert and a bottle of wine to share. We recently got engaged, and the staff brought out a number of complimentary items to celebrate which was thoughtful. The service is impeccable and we were very well taken care of. This is a fun special dining experience in Positano. If we were to do this again, we’d instead book for lunch or closer to sunset to make the most of the view.

This restaurant, located in the Hotel Le Sirenuse, is like a fairytale land. It's a must restaurant to eat at. I had a mushroom filled pasta with a thin shaving of black truffle on top. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life. It was that good. We were also serenaded with music while dining.

Beautiful place, amazing service and nice live music. We had the full degustation menu to try everything. However the food was very average, almost tasteless and definitely not worth the price. In general, I would prefer to have dinner somewhere else.

Had dinner here last night and thought it was one of the best dining experiences during our time in Positano. Very good food, service and one of the most magical views of Positano. I would recommend it, if you can get a reservation. A nice plus regarding this hotel…..Unless you have a reservation at one of their restaurants for that day, the front door people will most likely not allow you to step foot on the property. With amazing views that they have, I personally appreciated this…. Overall a great dining experience. Thank you! -T-

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. The views were unmatched, decor was gorgeous, and service was exceptional. The food was really good but nothing outstanding for what you would imagine in this type of environment and price point. We had the tasting menu and some dishes were better than others. I would absolutely go for the experience if you’re looking to indulge yourself in beauty and atmosphere.

We were extremely excited to try this place we had heard so much of in anticipation of our trip to Positano. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, the restaurant was beautiful, the views were fantastic, service was on point and we also enjoyed the live music. I had higher expectations on the food, the dishes in general needed more seasoning, dishes were very bland. The best dish we had was the Cacio e Pepe, that was the best dish with the most flavor. I am glad for the experience, but wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.

A beautiful experience at La Sponda :) This is an unconventional review, but here goes nothing! I reserved a table for 2 at this restaurant in June (their reservations open 2 months beforehand) for August, even though I knew I was solo travelling in Positano. I met 2 lovely ladies at my hostel and extended the invitation to both of them, and the staff were so kind enough to accomodate us. The atmosphere was just... wow. Beautiful vines wrapped around the interior of the restaurant, and the view you get is absolutely wonderful. The name of the hotel Le Sirenuse really makes sense, this place had an alluring energy to it and was absolutely breathtaking. Albeit, the food was extremely expensive, however this is a Michelin Star and a 5 star restaurant and hotel, so this was expected. The experience we received though was unmatched, and worth every penny. Two lovely gentlemen were going around the tables and playing wonderful Italian music on their medallion and guitar, which was beautiful. The wait staffs were extremely kind and helpful, and assisted us with any queries. I definitely recommend La Sponda to any lovebirds or newlyweds travelling to Positano, it's definitely the most romantic spot for dinner! :)

We dined here one evening last summer and it was absolutely divine! Our vacation to Italy was wonderful, but the one thing we couldn't change was that we were just so HOT everywhere we went. Dinner on the terrace at La Sponda was maybe the only meal that my husband didn't sweat through. The view was spectacular, but it was the breeze that was the real winner! The ambiance was very romantic and the food and service were both exceptional. I would also recommend having a drink at Aldo's or the Don't Worry Bar before dinner.

My fiance and I had a good experience. I'm not a foodie. However, the service was great and they were really generous with complimentary items.

We went to this place at lunch time. It has the most stunning views of the town, I bet it must be outstanding at the sunset. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. My favorite plate was eggplant parmigiana, we even ordered it twice. I found the grilled octopus to be dry and hard to chew, I don’t understand why. My only explanation is that it was cooked on a very high temperature and in a speedy time. The anchovies were good too. I had tiramisu for a dessert which was very moist and tasty. My husband had the famous lemon pie which was so good. Complementary cookies were offered by our waiter which were delicious too. We would go back to this restaurant again and would love to have dinner next time! Safe travels everyone.

If you're in Positano and looking for a refreshing and unique dining experience, Casa e Bottega is a great choice. With its vibrant and contemporary ambiance, this cafe-restaurant-interiors shop run by Tanina Vanacore offers a delightful menu. Start your day with options like avocado toast, smoked salmon muffins, homemade pastries, fresh juices, and smoothies. For lunch, they serve hummus, rice bowls with seared tuna or grilled chicken, and interesting salads.
We came here based on my friends recommendation. The food here was delicious. It's more of a modern take on Italian food. The portion sizes are large and fair for the price. The food was very fresh and we had such great options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I really enjoyed the rice bowl I got and they presented it in such a pretty way it was hard to resist. The staff was so friendly and the service was a bit slow but that's because they were understaffed. The restaurant itself is such a gorgeous location. You feel like you're in a garden.

Pretty close to an authentic American brunch spot as far as options go, but with their own I’m unique takes. I got the avocado toast which was more like an avocado purée with a fresh salad on top and poached eggs. Very tasty, but the eggs were more like hard boiled than anything. Service was also great. Wife got the French toast which came out great.

Beatiful tiny restaurant with an amazing view of Positano. Service was super friendly. The place is really cozy. You can see all the effort they put on the interior design. All details are perfectly taken care of. It's a good place to have something fresh to eat or drink while exploring the charming streets of Positano.

A beautiful little spot with some tasty food, just too small portions for the price! This made us feel like we were back at home in Dubai, with the cool vibes and tasty coffee but the prices were astronomical. I understand that Positano is an expensive place but WOW €34 for two coffees and a small açai 🤯 Highly recommend if you just want a coffee or you are very RICH 💰🤑

Highlight of my trip to Positano! As I coeliac, I have become used to limited options when eating out, but here, the food and vibes were excellent! Fantastic friendly service, lovely cafe (very different to their formal sister restaurant Next2) My only regret is that we only came across this place for our final lunch in Positano - so we sadly missed breakfast here

The brunch here was absolutely perfect. The portions, the taste - perfect. To get to this place takes about 10-15 minutes from the ferry but it's a nice walk through city center. Interior is cozy and warm. Interior photos and great rating sold this place in Positano. When we order food we didn't think it will be this good. Prices are higher than average. Don't forget an insane view from the Cafe. You can see all of Positano from there.

Casa e Bottega had a great vibe to it, friendly staff and owner. Was not extremely impressed with the food there though. We got the French toast with fruit, and poached eggs with tomato sauce. A bit overpriced but like everything in that area, you’re paying for the location. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful with lots of ceramics that were locally made. It is a good place if you’re craving something other than the classic Italian breakfast and want more of a brunch experience which is what we were going for on that day.
Marilyn Joseph — Google review
The meals are smaller than the pictures you find here, the banana pancakes had only 2 strawberries on the side instead of the beautiful colourful fruit salad of some pictures, the poached eggs hat 3 very small pieces of bread on the side…the taste wasn’t bad but wasn’t outstanding either…so considering the sizes of the meals the prices are too high. But the service was good and it’s a lovely place tho. They have some gluten free options and vegan milk alternatives.

We were a little bummed that the breakfast menu ended quite early In the day. We instead had to sample the lunch menu. The the items we tried were tasty albeit a tad pricey for what they were. Service was also good.

Absolute gem of a restaurant in Positano. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff is so welcoming and warm, and the food was spectacular. Fresh veggies and juices gave us life during our pasta filled vacation. And the seared tuna was some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t hesitate to stop here. No reservations, so it’s first come first served. Oh, and the shop dog was such a good boy.

Delicious food, very light and refreshing! Fun energetic atmosphere. Perfect for a hot summer day lunch. The owner is very involved in the restaurant and was incredibly personable and easy to talk to. He made our experience great and even offered us a generous glass of natural wine (which will be added to the menu next summer)! Overall great restaurant.

This is a nice change from the typical Posatano breakfast restaurants. The atmosphere is light and airy. Doors open at 9 am Sunday so arrive early to insure a seat. Food variety is more similar to a North American style eatery. Service was prompt and food quality was good. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip which was unusual. Water came in a carfe rather than a wasteful bottle. I would recommend this place for quality and value. All egg meals were cooked perfectly and not overdone.

Loved this cafe so much!! Came here both mornings while in Positano! The interior is so cute and decorated perfectly! The service was superior and the food was excellent. One of the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted. Staff is very kind, especially Mariana. She was so accommodating and sweet. Lattes were also made beautifully

The food was perfectly cooked, fresh & overall high quality lunch dining. We highly recommend the chicken cutlets and the tuna. The venue and atmosphere was very tastefully designed, and smelt of delicious fresh fruits. Although we were seated quickly, service was a little slow and our coffees had been forgotten, though staff rectified this quickly. Plan for your meal to cost you a little extra, though every euro will be well spent.

This was one of the best meals of our trip! Worth the hike back up to it from our bus stop, although tiring haha. There was a wait and it was very sunny and hot outside with a few spots to sit. We were able to order drinks ahead of time which they offered, but then we somehow did it wrong because they were surprised to bring it out to us when we were getting a table too. So not sure what happened but I did get the best tiramisu affogato! Delicious and such a great item! I was a bit disappointed that they only offer a breakfast menu at certain hours and I was more interested in lunch. So I ended up getting a sandwich option which was so good! I did end up taking the top bread off to make it easier to eat though. We also got the french toast which was absolutely delicious. The drinks were great and refreshing also. Definitely would recommend this place and come back if I go to Positano again!

This place is a vibe! It’s charming and lively like a trendy brunch spot in the States. The staff was friendly, the service was efficient, and as a bonus – everyone spoke English. Our group had breakfast and it was amazing. We had the French Toast with Chantilly Cream and Wild Berries (amazing!), croissant salmon sandwich, banana pancakes, and a variety of omelettes. We also had cappuccinos and a few of their fresh juices. Overall, the food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere. You can’t help but leave this place happy. Highly recommend!

Rada Beach Bistrot is a trendy and high-end restaurant located at the end of the seafront promenade in Positano. It offers breathtaking views of the town and the sea from its first-floor dining room and panoramic terrace. The restaurant serves excellent seafood dishes, along with a wide selection of Italian and French wines. Additionally, it houses a stylish Fly lounge bar on its terrace and a disco called Music on the Rocks on the ground floor.
We took a cruise / day trip here from Rome. 3 hrs down-3 hrs back. Still it was a nice day. Obviously the area is well known. Our guide suggested Rada Bistro. It was extraordinary! I had the zucchini pasta dish, just wonderful. My wife had the pasta with cherry tomato and pecorino - also fantastic. The melon and ham, as well as the clam pasta were excellent. The staff was very friendly and kind. Additionally we had limoncello spritz, delicious- all while overlooking the beautiful water. It cost more than in Rome, about €200. I'd say worth it, as you are paying for the fabulous view as well.

We were also give multiple complimentary taster courses with our meal. Perfect for a romantic dinner. On the expensive side however it is to be expected in Positano, the price also felt appropriate for the type of meal we had. We were on the top floor restaurant rather than the beach bistro.

Three friends and I (all in our twenties) had an amazing meal at Rada in Positano! We were amazed with the 5-star service and food, and were quite pleased when the bill came. We had several cocktails & an entree each. We were served several rounds of fancy appetizers and an array of dessert after our entrees. Beautiful setting and lovely family run restaurant. We got the shuttle bus from Positano and were warmly welcomed. We feasted on a range of dishes, from local pastas, to veggies, grilled meats and great desserts. There is only the family red and white on offer (the red is not for the faint hearted as it is not up to scratch with other local house wines). We were left waiting for over an hour for our shuttle on the way home (despite being one of the first groups there). The shuttle bus also hit a moped on the way back, which was rather funny after the Boston family in our bus started making fun of the driver. At €50 a head the value is fantastic. Also, being out of the centre away from the idiot tourists was a bonus. However, the food needed that extra element to turn it from a pub lunch to a true reflection of the family vibe. The portions are huge! Even the Boston family struggled….

The food was really nice and the views are stunning with a really beautiful view of Positano and the ocean. However, the bus ride up and back is very winding and they cram on as many people as possible. I would highly suggest getting a taxi if you get car sick. The food was very nice and unique, the portions are huge but the meal is very rushed so be prepared to eat a lot of food and be out within an hour. Cost is €60 per person

On a late August Saturday evening, without a reservation, I called just before arriving - a valuable tip to avoid the risk of not finding a seat. The fixed menu at the restaurant, rich in local specialties, turned out to be plentiful and delightful. Located on Monte Pertuso, it offers a spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast, enchanting the gaze with Capri, the Island of the Sirens, and the Whale Rock. The recommendation to arrive early to enjoy one of the most beautiful and captivating sunsets of your life is definitely worth following. The owner and the staff proved to be extremely friendly and courteous. Personally, despite being familiar with the area, I chose to reach the restaurant by car, despite the narrow road and limited parking spaces. However, I would suggest opting for a taxi, with shuttle options available. The quality-price ratio is excellent, and the price undoubtedly reflects a unique gastronomic and visual experience.

The ‘free transfer’ was a terrible public bus ride, which wasn’t free. The food consisted of unidentifiable ‘pig/pork’ meal which smelled of rotting flesh. Was told the total cost was 60€ ended up being price per person. Very unpleasant experience, with the staff asking for a tip in a passive aggressive manner. Genuinely would not recommend visiting if you enjoy good food, and value your time and money.

If I were to rate the experience, I would offer 5 stars. Based on the quality of the food, I am offering 3 stars. The setting is amazing and highly perched on the mountain over looking Positano. I am a vegetarian and they will accommodate though you must request as your server begins to bring food to the table family style. Some items seemed over cooked and flavor lacking. The family who hosts you is delightful and welcoming. I do wish they had shared some background of what is grown on the farm to add to the farm to table experience.

If you’re staying in Positano, I would definitely recommend this place, with a few disclaimers. It’s a 25-40 minute ride from the town, and the free shuttle fills up quickly. We had luck that our shuttle was on time, but it was standing room only. This did not bother me and my husband, as we’ve traveled the world and been on many a crowded bus, but if this sounds uncomfortable to you, just know that the cab from town will run you about $60. The views from the restaurant and magical. Once you are there, you feel like you’ve been transported to another time period. As others have mentioned, there is no menu, they just start bringing food out. It’s a free for all, even the tables next to us got completely different things than us for no reason. But rest assured, everything is fresh, delicious, and you get PLENTY of food. The shuttle back was fun after everyone had a few glasses of wine and a full belly, so I highly recommended at least jumping on the one back. Also, going down the hill takes half the time so it was much easier. Overall, this was one of the best meals of our trip, in terms of uniqueness and views. But this experience isn’t for everyone.

This was probably the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. The free shuttle picked us up and brought us to the restaurant. We were seated along the patio with amazing views. The waiter explained how the tasting menu worked - make sure you are aware of which one you booked. There were about 5 courses total and each one was amazing and fresh. Each course was explained to us when they brought it out. They were even welcoming us to go check out the gardens between courses. The free shuttle back to the hotel was a blast. Everyone was a little tipsy and talkative. I suggest booking well in advance, because it books out fast.

DON’T GO! If you want to experience speed eating, this is the place! Service was horrible. I had such great expectations about eating at this restaurant after reading about their cooking school (that I couldn’t get into 6 months in advance). We were told to sit, and then told the meal would just come out. No problems there. The apps and pasta course were good. The waiters speed by you and drop of dishes, and never look at you, explain what it is or ask if there is anything else you may need. If you do need the waiter, good luck! Short of tripping them as they are running through the restaurant, you won’t get them. The meat course was inedible and by the time we got to dessert, I just wanted to pay the bill and get out of the place because we were feeling so stressed by the waiters running all over. I asked 3 times for the check. I would have walked out but there is no way down the mountain. The head waiter comes and says $60/person CASH, no cards. I went to ask him a question, and he ran away. We paid and left! Italians like to eat slowly and enjoy a meal. Not this place. I couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel. On the bus, we met several others who felt the same way and actually told the owners wife. Don’t expect any changes! We were so stressed it took us an hour and a nightcap to relax. With so many wonderful places to eat in Positano, I would avoid this place at all cost.

Don’t let bad reviews stop you! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at La Tagliata. We rode the shuttle bus which was packed by the last pick up but everyone was cool and it wasn’t a bad ride at all. Once we arrived we were in awe of the surroundings and the view. We were immediately greeted by our waiter who explained to us how they do things (no menu, farm to table, new items cooked each day by Mama, Papa, and family). Each course was amazingly good but by the time we arrived at the final main course of meats we could barely eat any of it. I would recommend pacing yourself and try not to feel like you have to finish each plate. It was obviously geared towards tourists considering the shuttle bus but it felt like the most authentic Italian meal we’ve had the entire time we’ve been here. Even as a fairly picky eater myself, I absolutely loved all of the food. They told us they prefer cash payments but many people paid with cards without any issue. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

Great food, view, and vibe. Nothing says cash only so when I asked if I could provide by credit card twice, they pointed to the ATM which charges 15% mark up fee. This is annoying. They probably own the ATM. Either specify cash-only in the confirmation email or accept credit cards.

Amazing experience! Tony was the best, he took very good care of our table and the pasta was the best pasta we’ve had on our tour of Italy so far. Incredible views, incredible food, incredible experience. This place is magnificent and I could not recommend it more. Thank you so much for a memorable lunch! Will be back for sure. ❤️

La Tagliata was amazing! My wife and I accidentally stumbled upon the restaurant after our hike of the path of the gods and it was wonderful. For 40 euro each, we were given a bottle of wine, antipasto, numerous other appetizers, a main course of four different pasta, dessert and espresso. It was all absolutely delicious and not to mention the views are out of this world. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

A month ago we had the most exciting culinary experience here. We knew this location was popular and everyone recommended it, but didn’t expect to be such a unforgettable experience. The food was so delicious that you couldn’t stop eating even though there were so many plates! The serving was really fast, people were nice and friendly, they gave us limoncello shots at then end, which was a nice surprise. There was also house wine, red and white. The view at night is amazing, and here we saw the biggest Lime!! If I will have the chance to go back to Positano, I will definitely go back to La Tagliata ❤️

My husband and I both agreed that this was one of the best meals of our life! Also the best meal we had in Italy during our 2 week visit. Each bite was somehow better than the last. We recommend going for lunch for an amazing view. When you arrive there is no menu, they just bring you tons of different things which is the best part. If you’re staying in or visiting Positano, this is a must visit.

Packed Tourist Trap! Embarrassed to have convinced my wife to go there after booking a month in advance. I drove 45 minutes from Almalfi to Positano to eat microwaved food. I’m not exaggerating because I walked around the restaurant and saw food coming out of the microwave. No wonder why the fried dishes tasted soggy. When we arrived they did not give us a menu choice(the server said “this is what we will be serving, and it’s what we have on the menu every day”. That actually excited me because you have to be confident about the quality of your food to not give guests a menu). Complete waist of our time and money. And they didn’t feel bad about it because they have plenty of seating with people anticipating a special culinary experience. We asked for the check early after waiting close to 2 ours for the meat coarse. Wasn’t worth the wait! They had a nice guy playing the guitar and making a mockery of American tourists playing American music. I work hard for my money and I’m sure most of you reading this review can appreciate real reviews. I even call the restaurant when I got home to make sure they knew how disappointed we were.

The service of this place was probably one of the worst I have experienced in my life. The first waiter that attended to us (which I think might be the owner) was rude from the start, saying we are closed. We thought he was being funny, so we laughed and continued to stand there. He then seated us in the corner, great view, food was good in my opinion but the service was horrible He never gave us a menu, just said “this is what it is” and proceeded to give us a set menu. No mention of price or anything. As the waiters put the food down on the table they don’t even make eye contact with you as they explain what it is. Every course was the same, no friendly chatter or anything. Unless your a group of young women, then they treat you like royalty, laughing, giggling, pouring drinks into their mouths, but for you they will just throw the receipt on the table and say cash. We paid by card. The whole experience would of been better if they had better service, overall the food was good, views were good, location a bit far but worth the drive. Service killed it for me and we would never go back. Don’t bother asking for any favors otherwise they will make you feel guilty and make inappropriate jokes about helping you. Save your money and go anywhere else!

We had a great lunch here with friendly service throughout which was fun. The view is fantastic, they also provide lots of wine pending what option you choose. Overall I had a great time, however being Australian when I went to pay by card he kept yelling in my ear "this does not include the service fee". Confused at first, realizing he wanted a tip was a bit off putting as I think it's a fair price from the beginning.

Amazing experience! There is a shuttle bus that can take you to the restaurant from the centre of Positano . Reservation must be made at least a day or two earlier so they can arrange the transportation as long as availability. There is a standard menu of many courses that they keep bringing to you so you can taste all the local flavours. Last but not least the view is breathtaking! Tip: the menu costed 60€ per person. Make sure you bring cash with you because they don’t except credit cards.

We had the courtesy shuttle pick us up and bring us to the restaurant . The shuttle was on time and the restaurant is high on the hill with incredible views . The food was delicious and you can not even finish it there was so much! They explain how it works it is family style for 60 euro and includes bottles of wine ! The wine and food just kept coming. The waiters are friendly and described each course to us and then we took shuttle back . Never felt rushed everything was perfect a real authentic Italian meal! Would recommend anyone visiting to Positano to come here for a meal!

AMAZING VIEW. Like seriously you have to go for this view, its unreal. Make sure you get there before sunset so you have time to take pictures and watch the sunset. They have a complimentary shuttle, but we took a taxi up because the first shuttle would not have gotten us there before sunset. Since we were some of the first people there, we got to choose our table with the best view :). The food was definitely good, but I wouldn’t say great. But seriously, don’t eat all day. It is SO MUCH FOOD (multiple courses - fresh veggies, cheeses, pastas, meats, dessert and unlimited wine). And wine is included also, and you can have more than one bottle without extra cost. The cost when we went was €60 per person

Amazing location, tasty meet grilled at the moment, good meals with the typical starters and main courses of the regional kitchen; which DOES NOT justify the bill of 50 euro per person of course without recipy and with no possibility to pay by card (don t worry, the ATM service is working ;) ). Old fashion tourist trap. 🎵🎶🎵"Thaat's amooore" 🎵🎶🎵

Memorable experience and worth the trip. Most of the negative reviews here are from people who clearly down research the places they are visiting so, yes, it is a flat rate 60 Euro and you do not have a say in the meal, it is served family style. I though the appetizers and pastas were amazing and the wine wasn't extraordinary but it was good enough and all you can drink. My only downside was the meat portion, it left a little to be desired but for the great value, I can't complain much.

Beautiful spot in the mountains for a multi course meal. Great family cooking and service. It’s a lot of food so save room. 50 euros for everything including wine & dessert. Not bad as long as you know the price going in
