This school is super posh! I wish I went here! Kids are very nice when you talk to them in Solihull Town Centre

My son attended this school where he flourished due to the excellent tuition and the schools work ethic. He has since gone onto secure a prominent position in banking in the city of London. Highly recommended.

Overrated school doesn’t allow u to get ‘quality trims’, beware of Mr Morgan who is strictly against skin fades, despite the fact one day I went to kings barbers I made my up the stairs and I glanced at the seats shocked, I saw Mr Morgan getting a skin fade. When he made his way out of the store he probably thought he was Ramz from the barking video.

One of my favourite parks ! I attended the sixth form by the park so I used to go through it every morning & it was quite peaceful ! I love walking round to the lake area and watching the sunset - it was quite relaxing ! There is a nice scenic route - perfect for dog owners/ nature lovers , or anyone really :)

Love this park, particularly the nature trail, off the main park and great for kids to explore and learn about nature. Even the bug kids like me had a fab time I built a tree den. Such fun. 😁

Beautiful park, great for exercise and dog walks. You may link to some great public footpaths. Nice cafe for snacks and coffee though the area in front of the cafe now seems to be a car parking zone.

A very peaceful environment. Free parking for 3 Hours (but remember to display the ticket). There's a dog-friendly cafe (with toilet inside) in the park too. A perfect place for family and dog lovers.

Beautiful and large park with lots of trails. It's actually 2 parks connected as one. The lake was beautiful with a shallow part for wading. The kids loved it.

Really nice place for a walk. I live a few towns over and had never been. , there's a cafe and a large kids playground which is great. Loads of places to walk, several park areas and a wetland area. Limited toilet facilities and the car park is tiny though. Car parking is free for the 1st 3 hours and they got an attendant wandering around. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely park where they do race for life events on a yearly basis. The park consists of a large playground for children of all ages, picnic areas, hire a bike station, lake to feed the ducks and a centre with a free play area and a cafe with toilets inside. A good day out for the kids just a five minute walk from Touchwood shopping centre and on sunny days you can find an ice cream man.

Beautiful setting for a walk, a little slice of countryside despite the close motorway and airport. Be mindful if it has been raining as there is a lot of mud! Car park and also be slippy as there is ice in the winter time.

A really lovely park. Lots of nice open spaces for running around and exercising your dog. A big range of fun equipment for children. Miles of winding paths and secluded tree lined footways to explore. Make sure you see the sweet chestnut tree. It's over 500 years old. Ample parking spaces.

Staying with friends in Solihull I was looking for a place for a walk and was introduced to Elmdon Park. This place is huge with loads of paths and trails. There’s a play area for the kids, a large pond or 2, football area and when you climb the hill there’s good views over the area. You could easily make up a 5 km walk. This park leads on to other open areas for an even bigger walk. Dog and kid friendly.

Lovely large green space, perfect for dog walking. Lots of different walks of varying degrees, a nice flat route for those of us who are less mobile, steep inclines for the more energetic or a scenic lake walk etc. Large childrens play area. Car park is fine but can get full during summer months.

Specialty Museums
The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, England is home to more than 1000 motorcycles, ranging from the earliest two-wheeled machines dating back to 1898 through to some of the sleekest, fastest and meanest motorcycles ever made. The museum is a great place for anyone interested in motorcycle history and heritage, with 170 different makes of bikes on display from all over the world.
Massive display of classic and modern motorcycles along with memorabilia. Spent a full 5 hours here, but would need to come back again as have to admit there is so much historical information that we had to move along so to speak. Cafe is good with comfortable furnishings and good offerings of food and drinks. Beautiful grounds around the building as well. 5 halls of hundreds of types / brands of British motorcycles makes you wonder why it all went wrong 🤔
simon east — Google review
It's a lovely museum. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The cafe food and drink was tasty, quick and the range was good. The foyer area had a nice era feel to it, like the old cinemas used to. Everywhere and everyone was relaxed, friendly and warm. To the reason we are all there: the bikes - such a huge and impressive collection. The plaques were all really useful to help build a picture of the evolution of British motorcycle engineering and industry. There's a lot of history to absorb and it's cool to recognise and think on some of the awesome engineers and designers we've had in Britain. My only suggestion would be to - somehow - create more space between more of the bikes, so they can be more easily viewed from the sides. It was difficult for us to view and compare the mechanics and enjoy noting the changes as the engineering and science evolved. To the practicals: car park is spacious and easy to navigate, wheelchair access is good, there are good, clean toilets and air con.

Brilliant and highly expansive museum capturing the complete history of British Motorcycling manufacturers, from early Sunbeams to recent Triumphs and everything in between. Collection is in impeccable condition. Very friendly staff. Well laid out. Vast parking lot, with nice cafe and museum shop. Highly recommended and worth a specific visit!
Edward Pym — Google review
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to The National Motorcycle Museum. Lot's of biking history and all very interesting. Very reasonable entry fee to. Long may it continue. (Just need some Triumph clothing in the gift shop 😉)
Graham Preston — Google review
OK, so probably not the best museum from an engagement perspective but in terms of content it's amazing. If they had more space and could display the motorbikes in scenes like some of the other transport museums rather than just rows and rows of amazing motorcycles it might be more engaging for a younger audience. If perhaps Triumph or some of the owners clubs sponsored or got involved in helping provide more info on the manufacturing history and there were some interactive exhibits to again attract a younger audience revenues might increase. Showing some of the bikes running and making it easier to photograph some of the more iconic bikes would be great. 5 stars because motorcycling has helped me mentally and because there are some beautiful bikes on display which are kept in immaculate condition.
Simon “Stoneysoprano” Stone — Google review
Massive collection on bikes and memorabilia. Each bike has a doco with info about its build and capabilities but these are mainly at floor level not good if you are not able to read at ground level or bend down for several hours to read all the fascinating facts provided. 5 rooms of British bikes, amazing condition complete with oil drip tray. Well worth the £15 entrance fee. Cafe is nice with good coffee and delicious cakes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is free! I know, who heard of such a thing.... 😁

Lovely cafe with great food and coffee. It was really interesting to see so many motorcycles under one roof. Amazing to see the evolution of British motorcycles. There is also a great little gift shop that sells bike wear as well. The staff are lovely as well. It's a great place for young teens and up. We brought a six year old and I was super nervous in case he touched any of the bikes. It's right beside Birmingham airport and it's great place to go and kill a little time before your flight.

Norton, BSA, and many other brands. Classic Bike heaven. Place must be visited by every biker. Easy access from motorway. Nice carpark. Little Bistro is offering hot and cold drinks and snacks. Nice gift shop. Toilets clean and in working order. Recommended

Great motorcycle collection and a great day out, the kids enjoyed it but there could do with more stuff to do there for kids including an outdoor play area. All those beautiful ground there and no one’s allowed to go on them not even on the hottest of days. Also unlike other museums there was no provision for a carers or PAs admission ticket. Surely it’s time now to be more inclusive & work with our future generations.
Paul Nixon — Google review
Absolutely fascinating collection of British motorcycle history. From the first to modern classic on display. Both nostalgic and educational. Coffee shop and shop for use without an entry fee. Spend a couple of hours up to all day if studying something in particular. Wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible. Regular seating rest stops also available.
Kevin Gallifant — Google review
Absolutely amazing. I'm not a biker, but I will be one day. There are just so many iconic bikes and designs on show. From the original Royal Mail delivery bikes to police motorcycles. And paramedics bikes. A whole host of Triumphs, and Nortons. From the early models to recent 1990 models. I thi keen more recent triumphs too. There were several Royal Enfield's on display including the current Meteor model. Totally worth the visit. FYI, if you're doing the Triumph factory tour, go there first. They give you a flyer for half price entry into the museum. The only downside, and it's barely that. It's that lotos the bikes are very close together. But it's because there are just so many. And I believe most are in running order. That in itself is just amazing. Highly recommend a visit to this museum. 👌
Stephen Labuschagne — Google review
Wow. I have never really been a motorcycle fan, but this place just made we want to get one! Maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis, but the history, the bikes, the venue, all absolutely amazing. To think this whole thing was started by one guy, who actually owned all of the 800+ bikes that they have on display here. Some really amazing history here too. If you are a motorcycle fan, you have to come here, if you are not, still come because its such a treat to see these bikes restored back to full working condition. Some of the old war time era bikes were phenomenal and each bike has its own little piece of history. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I took my kids (13, 11, 9 & 6 at the time) and although they probably didn't enjoy it as much as I did, they still had fun. Oh, on a side note, the bathrooms here were wonderfully clean and they had these crazy Dyson hand-dryers that I had never seen before!
Asim Khawaja — Google review
An incredible range of motorcycles. For the avid biker it's a delight! Great parking, easy to find and good clean facilities. If i'm going to be critical, I feel its expensive for what there is. £30 for 2 adults, Visually it's a feast, but needs some interactivity....films of old racing or manufacturing, hands on activities, noise (nothing better than a motorbike engine), space to view the bikes, maybe even a bike or two to sit on. Would be great to know about who's collection it is, and how it's been made. Coffee shop staff friendly, but for a probable biker stop the coffee's were tiny!!
Andrea Butler — Google review
A great, modern museum, ideal for all motorcycle enthusiasts, the staff here are very welcoming and helpful, the bikes on show range from very recent to ancient and are arranged very well giving comfortable viewing. There is a restaurant/cafe, which is very reasonably priced and rest rooms. Attached to the museum building is a large conference centre, which was very busy on the day I visited. There is very large free carpark that serves both the museum and the conference centre. That has blue badge parking spaces close to both entrances, that also accommodates wheelchair access.
Trevor Baigent — Google review
We had never been before and the NMM live came up so popped in, Car park was ok when we got there but as this was a special event it got rammed. The museum was interesting if you like the history of bikes. Some iconic examples that you can get very close to. Food prices were a little steep but it was a good venue with a large conference room.
Jim Leake — Google review
Beautiful exposition, I've never seen so many BSA motorcycles in one place. Classic British Motorcycle heaven. Car park big and clean easy access from motorway. Building spacious with nice coffee- bar, Toilets clean and in order. Entry to museum £15 per person. Experience priceless. If you are a motorcycle fan, this is a place you Must visit.
Andrzej S — Google review
Massive amount of machines but not very well showcased - those long alignments get very quickly quite boring. It is actually a pity as the motorcycles are really beautiful and all the brands since 1898 are in display. I think the pieces deserve something better in a bigger place. I had the luck to visit the museum during a private event outside the public opening hours, so very few people were present at that time.
JC Galan — Google review
What a great experience! Our guide was so knowledgeable on all levels, he knew the answer to every question & more. I'm not very technical but he explained production processes at a level that I understood. I learned so much. The memorabilia section was also interesting & to finish the day we enjoyed a lovely coffee & cake in their coffee shop. A great afternoon.

I love this place, its an excellent museum. I have been 5 or 6 times over my lifetime. Not that much has changed in the past 5/6 years but its a well worthwhile day out. Theres some cracking machines there. The cafe is brilliant, nice little shop. And the auction that happens there is good too.

I only called into the cafe which is open to the public. Inside display of bikes is smaller as they do some alterations but the ones there are varied and very well restored. Café is well worth a visit, not too expensive and portion size is good. I know I will visit again but what about you?

Excellent venue, security measures in place, A4 size hand bag only, cashless food and drink forum, use card or Zapaygo App. Lots of toilets! Disabled friendly,. Inside the Arena, comfortable seats, brilliant view, two big screens and very good sound system. Would happily go to this venue again.

Came here to see Dermot Kennedy. Nice and spacious inside with lots of different stalls to choose from including sweets and bars. Not as expensive as other venues elsewhere. Good number of toilets and staff. Got inside in plenty of time and didn't have to queue as they opened the venue a couple of hours earlier so came in when we wanted.

This is a great arena to visit. We were here for Disney on Ice. Security was very friendly and quick. There are plenty of toilets scattered around. Drinks and food can be a little pricey and only take card payments. Seating on this visit was very good. Great views for the cost. Plenty of space in the seating area. Space in the aisles and stairs are plenty wide enough not to be cramped. My wife has anxiety and felt comfortable. Parking is plentyful and not too far away. I have been here many times and look forward to coming again.
Tony Bristoll — Google review
The arena was rocking at full volume for Slash on Saturday night. The venue is very well organised, and comfortable seats were definitely a bonus. As can be said for other similar venues, the price of food and drinks is exorbitant. However, this didn't detract from the great atmosphere and sound.

I enjoyed my first visit . Great selection of restaurants and shops. Cinema ,casino even a spa! Fantastic parking facilities if you are driving in but of course you may wish to arrive by train Came to see Gregory Porter and thought he was a top class act. I just don't like being in an arena with constant coming and goings and people checking their phones rather than turning them off.

Great venue with plenty of places to eat. I went to see Florence + The Machine, and they were amazing. Just one word of warning some.of the local cab firms that operate outside the venue after the show can be expensive. It's best to negotiate a price before you get in one.

I was here to see Maroon 5: Beautiful arena! All indoors and well ventilated. Inside the area, there are loads of stalls to buy drinks…not much options for beer, but there are cocktails, wines, and cold drinks. Not very much options for food as well, expected. However outside the area, just before the entrance, there is a chips and burger kiosk (you can’t take food in) The site itself is very big with a shopping complex. There are loads of options for food and drinks, and shopping as well, so you can have a full day out here. The site also has big parking spaces and an hotel as well. So overall, it’s a beautiful arena on a big site. I’d say the only cons is that parking is very expensive, 1-2 hrs £3, 2-12hrs £17. I believe there should be options for 3-5hrs, cos people hardly spend more than that on the site. Also the site is out of town so no buses travel this route, so you have to drive or get a taxi

Disney on ice is a magical show perfect all ages and the arena was the perfect place to see the characters and listening to the music of the beloved movies. I think everywhere in the arena would provide a decent view. My children loved seeing Woody and the gang, Nemo and Dory, the Disney Princesses and Mickey and friends as well as the scenes from Frozen, Encanto and Moana.
J BM — Google review
Went to see Disney On Ice, sat in YM450 and surrounding and had an amazing experience. Side on to the rink and could see all of what was going on. Lovely for the kids. Merch was expensive but doubt this was down to resort world and more so down to Disney. Everyone had a lovely time and would recommend Disney On Ice to anyone thinking of going. Brilliant experience with excellent production. Food and drink are the normal extortionate prices and they won't let you take anything in for the kids, hence the 4 stars. £2.95 for a small bottle of water when you are forcing people to pay it is a little over the top, would be nice to see Resort World not taking advantage. I'm sure more people would have food and drink if it was more reasonably priced.
Chris Field — Google review
I get muddled with the change of names, but it doesn't matter. It's the same place in what was always the National Exhibition Complex. Went to see SLASH featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The tickets were well priced for this day and age and I would like to thank all concerned for that. So feeling I'd got a bargain I bought an Amplif package. That wasn't a bargain but it wasn't excessively expensive either. In fact bearing in mind the bar prices I believe it possible to drink your money's worth back. The gig was in fact great the support was very good and of course the headliner really did the business. I'd recommend anyone to see the band. In my opinion, Slash is the best guitars I've ever seen, and I've seen all the greats. Only issue I had was the parking. It was included in my package but we had to walk for miles past all the other entrances to reach the Amlify entrance. But a good night was had especially by me as I wasn't driving.

Amazing time seeing Ghost perform here! Great view from the balcony, and good choice of food and drink (yes, it's very pricey, but you just expect that at arenas). Staff for very friendly and helpful. The location by the train station was super-helpful.

A fantastic experience closing out the final night of the Maroon 5 UK + Europe Tour! Really friendly and hospitable staff, a vast array of food and drink available and an incredible atmosphere made for an unforgettable night and experience!
Joe Leslie — Google review
Has an amazing experience. Staff super nice and organised which is what you need with a sold out show. Food and drinks and toilets at the venue. We were queuing for many hours outside in the full sunshine so once we got our numbers we walked to londis in the nec to get ice cream drinks and sunscreen. Burger van outside and multiple food and drinks places in the resorts centre. Toilets there also. Inside it was a sold out show. The only issue was my daughter and I was getting crushed by grown passed men towards the end of the event near the barrier and the security team was watching but not resolving it. That was a bit disappointing. But overall the venue was great and one of our regulars as its a great size for an arena. Even seated are not too far from the stage, until some arenas.

After 30-40 years of being here you’d think they would have sorted out a smoother system to exit the car parks. A brilliant night watching “Nothing But Thieves” shame the NEC can’t manage a car park!

Great venue, loads of facilities onsite and a great stage. Queens of the Stone Age, supported by The Chats. One of my favpurite gigs of the year!

The event itself was FANTASTIC. The Birmingham Tattoo, what an experience. However the venue states its a cashless venue. So rather than taking a purse I just took my phone with my card. Cashless was reiterated in an email before the event, upon arrival, program sellers... who didn't accept cards. Annoying. We were able to purchase one elsewhere with a card but this stall also took cash. As did several others. There where also charity buckets for cash donations. Very poor of Resorts World given the significance of the military charities they knew they where hosting. Besides that lovely clean accessible venue. Reasonable parking price. Ridiculous prices for refreshments as expected. The Show was amazing will definitely be going again next year. Going to try and post a seperate review for the show with pics.

I found this a fantastic place to see bands especially if you have disabilities like me!! Disabled parking really close to entry/exit. Someone else purchased our tickets not thinking about all the steps!! So I went to customer service on entry!! No arguments they sorted us tickets on the flat!! Which turned out to be right at front!! Didn't even ask us to pay anymore!! I was there for 3 old Rock Bands!! And was disappointed that they didn't do any real ales or even any bitters!! And like all these places Drink and Food is quite pricey!! All staff including security were very helpful and friendly!! Would definitely not think twice to going here again!! But come on Resorts World Arena!! Get some proper ales even if it is only bottles of Hob Goblin.

Been to the Arena to see the Pendulum concert. I took a seated place and I could perfectly see the stage and the band. The area is well served: the place is located approximately 500 meters from the Birmingham International train station and there is a big parking. There are food and beverages stands inside and nearby.
Federico Ciocca — Google review
Enjoyable evening watching 3 great rock bands. Easy to get in and a very good view even though we sat at the back of the arena. Parking was it's usual nightmare at the end of the night and unfortunately compounded by the M42 South being closed. Food and drink was OK but expensive for what you get. There was a lovely local craft stall selling home made chocolate which was delicious. Good venue for viewing and sound quality shame the carparking couldn't be better.
Nigel Jenks — Google review
Young Voices 2024 was very well run. The staff were great. Some areas for improvement are: - The toilets at car park B smelled of urine - Audio clarity of the concert. It was hard to make it the words the choir were singing - The food halls should give more value for money

My husband and I went to The Birmingham Tattoo, which was fabulous time and the venue was great, we booked our car parking space and there was a free bus to transport us to the venue. Our bus driver was very informative and on the way back he hoped we enjoyed the show and to have a safe journey home, we were on the East carpark. All people were checked going into the venue, our bags and we went through metal detecting arches. We had a large soft drink from the bar the cost was £7:40 for two, which I thought was really reasonable. Thank you to all the staff we had a fabulous time.

Diabolical. Used restaurant only with friends. Service waiting time very poor when only a few people were in the restaurant. We all thought our main course was a starter when only 3 actually had one. Very meger amount for a high price. Certainly not returning.

Overnight stay for business trip. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Bar area is comfortable and well managed. Had a continental breakfast which was superb. Cooked breakfast was only available after 9am but I was fine with what I had. Will stay again!

Genuinely awful, limited menu, cramped dining area and some men (I’m assuming managers as no one said anything) being extremely rude and inappropriate to the female staff. Poor girls

One of the finest places I stayed in Solihull, it is a gem of its own. It is quirky with a lot of charm and character. The furnishings and the bed itself is truly incredible - I slept well on our last stay! If you are booking your stay here for a weekend, don’t forget to include a breakfast with your booking and ask for the King Rooms especially Room number 2. It can be a bit noisy downstairs on a Saturday night but it becomes quiet by 10pm onwards.

Really nice pub/restaurant - Nice if you fancy a few pints, Guinness was particularly good last night. But the main reason I go is the chicken wings. They are fantastic, and if you go on a Wednesday its £1 a wing. 5 franks and 3 BBQ for 8 quid Happy days

We were looking for a fine dining experience so we had set the bar quite high. The reviews in general were positive so we booked for1/1/2022 dinner at 6pm. The menue was very limited about 4 items per course plus a couple of grill items. The price range was medium, average about £33 for three courses. We shared the house bread followed by bacon chop with chips and a duck egg for me, fish and chips for my wife . To finish ,sticky toffee pudding. Total cost £79.50 including a bottle of Pino. The food was freshly cooked and well presented. Other than the limited choice ,we could no fault it. Now here comes the but. It was far from fine dining but that was probably our misreading of the opening reviews etc. What really will prevent our return is the noise. Like most modern eating places there are no soft furnishings or surfaces to absorb the noise generated by social interaction. This was exascebated by the groups of none diners using the restaurant as a place to meet for a drink. Unfortunately for us we were sat next to four men who spoke and laughed continually at a disturbing volume. The search continues.

We had a family 50th birthday here yesterday and everything was fantastic. The private dining suite was spacious and lovely. The food was incredible both meat and veggie options. Joe who looked after us was perfect ensuring we had drinks, music, heating and of course food. Thank you to Joe, staff and chefs for making the event really enjoyable.

Booked Christmas 🎄 dinner here the food was amazing and plentiful the staff were amazing and so friendly. If you are considering eating out next Christmas book this place it will blow you away, but be quick as this venue gets completely booked out during the festive period. Thanks to all the staff at the Forest Hotel for looking after us so well 😀

Popped in for a drink at one of my erstwhile locals when I lived here . Reductions on price of real ale for CAMRA members . Much changed since my youth . The public bar and cocktail lounge have disappeared leaving a larger drinking and dining area . Toilets immaculate . Good staff and a nice ambience. The menu looked inviting and the dishes I saw served seem to offer good value . As I was only there for the beer sat outside in a large beer garden , part of which provides cover in inclement weather . Beer is well kept and usually a choice of three ales . Well worth a visit as very handy for the train station and bus stop that lie immediately opposite .

To be honest, really really bad. The food arrived within 5 minutes and was stone cold. At those prices, it should be classed as fraud. Plenty of other pubs/restaurants that can provide hot food that hasn’t been sat on the side for an hour.

The only place you will get discriminated by your colour of your skin. Your religion, your sexuality. Your illness, your needs. Your financial situation, what you wear. Its the must bullies place that i ever visit. It’s actually a cheap place. But the managements is just rubbish. All they care about. If you are from abroad they don care. As long you have an accent you should shut you mouth . Especially if you are black African or Caribbean. Or Indian or Pakistan. The manager call Andrew apparently. He is the head of racism bully. must of people believe its a place only for local English only. Do yourself a favour save your money do not stay there. Or drink there.

With its fourth branch opening in Solihull, West Midlands this April, Fukuoka brings a taste of Japan to the area south-east of Birmingham. The menu features an array of delectable dishes such as noodles, teriyaki, bento boxes, sushi, and more.
Lovely quiet little place. Definitely a hidden gem. Food was really good and service was extremely quick. Will definitely be going back.

My second visit to this place a few days ago for my birthday dinner with family. Love the food, delicious meal! Freshly made! Good place for a date or family dinner for Japanese food. Suggestions: Due to limited seats, advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. They only take Phone Calls Booking. No email or online booking. Easy booking by friendly staff. -Cash Only-

Excellent food and really good value for money. The wait time was over 30 mins for food tonight but I'm not sure if they were just having an especially busy night. Pretty small seating space too so booking is essential.

Lovely place to eat. Went for a double date and the food you get for the price is brilliant. Good quality and great selection. It is however cash only so you need to bring some change with you. Friendly staff and service pretty quick.

Food was absolutely delicious. Very authentic Japanese cuisine that is very reasonably priced. Small intimate setting with floor seating (Japanese style) or table seating. Menu was extensive with plenty of vegetarian options. Service was immaculate. Definitely recommend, and I will be returning!

Possibly my favourite Japanese restaurant in Birmingham. The interior is small but fits the ascetic well and is decorated beautifully. The food here is delicous and Ive never eaten anything bad in the many times Ive been here. The staff are hard working and helpful and the range of drinks available is great. Menu is reasonably priced, only minor downside is that they are cash only but there's cashpoints close to the restaurant. Highly recommend if you find yourself in or around the Shirley area

A hidden gem What a fantastic place to live and experience the Japanese tradition. I liked the fact that this place is been run by personnel who follows the Japanese tradition in contrast the rest of the more commercialised ones. Will definitely be visiting this place from now on

The service at this establishment was impressively fast, and it also came at a reasonable price point. Even though the place was not particularly crowded when we arrived, our orders arrived within mere minutes after we placed them. This promptness added to the overall positive experience. With a hearty thumbs up and my wholehearted recommendation, this place is certainly worth a visit.

On first impressions, the place is quite small. There are a couple floor tables, a group of western tables and a bar counter. The place can fill up quickly so I'd recommend to call ahead. The service is very good and accommodating. The food came out at a reasonable time. The quality and quantity is very good for the price. It's excellent for small families. We'll likely go again.

Panchuli Restaurant, located in a former mansion on Solihull High Street, is highly regarded as the top Indian eatery by those in the know. With its elegant ambiance, this dining establishment offers a contemporary twist on traditional Indian cuisine. Chef Maz Rahman showcases his culinary expertise through dishes such as the indulgent Bengal duck jalfrezi and curried scallops with lentil and coconut.
The food is excellent, visited a few times and it’s been consistently good! Great mid-week offer and good service. Downstairs seating area looks a little tired but it doesn’t detract from the food! Highly recommended!

Beware if asked to sit in an old fireplace opposite the entrance as we were tonight . The beam above is ridiculously low and one of our party hit her head with considerable impact. Staff that witnessed were quick to then ignore the distress caused and our table was suddenly available. Not a great start to your evening an acknowledgement at the very least would have been as a minimum expected and not the very usual 10% added to the bill as a discretionary service charge. Service staff were friendly but I still find it hard to warm to this one .

Located quite central in Solihull and visited based on feedback while visiting Solihull. As an Indian visiting an Indian restaurant was quite average. As an Indian restaurant the people were too cold, and felt very unwelcoming. Very general courtesy was missing, no greetings or smile on anyone’s face to start. They forgot to lit the candle on the table, the dessert bowl was broken. I was the first guest in the evening, still was asked to wait to see if they had table available. In 1 hour I was in the restaurant, there were 2 family who visited the first floor, the rest if the restaurant was empty, so pretending they have a busy restaurant with many reservations, hmmm…. Coming to food, it was average, nothing special just a regular Indian restaurant serving Indian food. The matka kulfi was the best, but don’t go with the pictures on the menu where it is loaded with Pistachios, I literally had just 1 Pistachio, literally 1 in the bowl.

Visited for the first time and would not go back. Staff rude and we were rushed with our food. Starter was OK but mains was tasteless. Cleared the table before checking we had finished. 10% charge on bill is OK if you get the the good food and service.

Pleasant restaurant, staff were nice some not very clear when speaking but certainly friendly and welcoming. We had a dish with Chili and Garlic Paneer and also a Masala which were well executed and tasty. Peshwari Nann bread was drizzled in honey which was a sticky experience but very tasty. Onion Bhajis were nice, could have done with some mint yogurt. Drinks wise the Pepsi had no fiz but all else good. Price was very reasonable. Atmosphere was empty when we arrived but soon filled up, decor is nice but some areas need a bit of love. All in all a pleasant experience 👍🏻

Panchuli is an attractive restaurant. Service was efficient if not overly friendly. Food was a big disappointment. Chef’s specials Railway Mutton Curry and Goan Chicken Xacuti both seemed to use the same brown sauce. The Xacuti had a little chilli heat but otherwise both dishes were very bland. The Xacuti had only 6 small pieces of chicken. The pilau rice was the worst I’ve ever had - big congealed lumps of flavourless rice and not made with basmati. The naan was good. The restaurant added a 10% service charge to the bill.

Had a lovely meal there. We have eaten here many times on previous visits to Solihull. Decided to go with several starters instead of main meals. Good sized portions and very tasty.

Working down at the NEC for a few days and just booked last minute for 6 . From the minute we arrived everything was perfect… service, food, portions and pleasant helpful staff. Every plate went back empty ….. Would certainly visit again next year when we are back down there!

The food was decent and a real improvement on the tired trope offered at most Bangladeshi restaurants. The building is nice and traditional too. We'll be back.
J T — Google review
I recently ordered from Panchuli Restaurant through Just Eat, and I must say, the experience was deeply disappointing. The food quality severely lacked the standard I expected. The lamb chops, which should have been a highlight, were undercooked and full of colour, suggesting a lack of proper preparation. The butter chicken, a classic favourite, was unrecognisably in flavor, missing the rich, creamy taste it’s known for. Moreover, the naan bread, usually a simple yet delightful part of any Indian meal, was of poor quality. This was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in recent times, especially from a delivery perspective. It was disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail and quality in the food prepared by Panchuli Restaurant.

Steak house
Miller & Carter Solihull is a trendy steakhouse that offers sustainably sourced, pasture-raised British beef, burgers, and ribs. The restaurant has convenient on-site parking, which is a pleasant surprise for customers. Even though there might be a slight delay in acknowledging waiting guests upon arrival, it's the only concern of the evening. The service is prompt once seated, with quick delivery of both drinks and freshly prepared food. The steaks are described as exquisite and delicious.
First time at Miller and Carter, and who knew they do more than steaks. Lovely atmosphere, and warm welcome from the staff. Our particular waitress was wonderful. But the Buttermilk Chicken was the nicest meal I've had for years. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back

Cleaner than other Miller & Carter restaurants we’ve visited, probably recently refurbished. They offer special Vegan dishes this January and I’ve chosen Roasted cauliflower with corn puree, it looks impressive but lacked flavour, most probably we’ll get the stakes next time.😋

Attended at 5pm on a Saturday so understandably it was busy but it took a while to be served. Our server was great though and was tentative. Unfortunately they didn't have the bread starter which we wanted so i had the prawn and avocado salad which was tasty but the lettuce provided with it was the old and limp outside leaf of the salad (please see photo) which was a let down and in my opinion, not what you'd expect for the price and from Miller & carter. My main was perfect 👌🏽 as was the dessert. All in all, a good evening with just a couple of things that could have made it perfect.

Firstly, let's talk about the carpark! It's a breath of fresh air turning up and being able to park on site, loved it. We made a last minute reservation here, as my local didn't have a table for us, wasn't sure what to expect at all. Upon arrival, it did take a few minutes for someone to recognise we were waiting, which I found surprising, but that was my only concern of the evening. Once seated we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food, everything was freshly prepared and the steak was divine. It was my daughters birthday and her dessert came with a little happy birthday message, which made her day. Would definitely recommend Miller and Carter Solihull to anyone.

The Delhi, an Indian restaurant located in Solihull, offers a smart and authentic dining experience with a blend of old favorites and innovative twists. The venue boasts an atmosphere adorned with traditional decor and brass lamps, creating an ambiance that enhances the overall dining experience. Alongside popular options like chicken balti and lamb Madras, The Delhi also provides vegetarian dishes for those with dietary preferences. With its fresh ingredients and crispy samosas, the restaurant delivers exceptional flavors that are sure to satisfy any palate.
Me and my family ate at the Delhi and we had a wonderful time. The service was amazing. Waiters always checking up on us to make sure everything is ok and if we needed anything and the food itself was excellent. One of the best curry houses in the whole of Birmingham definitely. The owner was at the restaurant on the day too and he was lovely and even gave us some free poppadoms and chocolates to the little kids. Food had lots of flavour and absolutely love the Bangladeshi influence on some of the dishes. Will definitely be coming back very soon! Highly recommend.

The food was nice here - I’m a vegetarian and the selection was wide. The menu was simple and I liked the upstairs decor. The customer service was not that great. Polite chap but dropped a glass at my feet, these things happen but he was hard to understand and couldn’t explain the menu well. We ended up having one dish which was excessively spicy and was full of chilli’s nearly edible. The food was nice but the service could have been better. When customers leave, always say “thank you for your customer, hope you liked the food and come again”. We were ignored on our way out. A bit of a cold feeling. As a fast food place it’s great, as a restaurant there needs to be better basic hospitality skills.

Please take this review as constructive i noticed previous negative reviews have been shot down. Either way my Saturday night meal was a let down Ordered a lamb balti and chicken tikka masala. Lamb balti was average wouldnt have wrote this review but opening the chicken tikka masala worst ever the masala was a soupy nature few cubes of what tasted like unmarinated chicken not authentic at all. In summary for a restaurant the food served out was poor if you expect authentic currys this isnt the place. Seriously you cant serve food that bad i was close to picking up the phone and asking for a refund. Delivery was on time as a postive

What a find this little place was. We were up here for a car plant tour and felt we just had to have a curry being in the West Midlands. From the outside The Delhi doesn't look much, certainly no sign of a restaurant, more like a take away? We went in anyway and were guided upstairs to a small but rather nicely laid out little restaurant. We were greeted by the (I think) owner. A very nice chap who made us welcome and got us seated. A couple of poppadoms arrived with pickles/sauces, closely followed by a pair of nicely chilled bottles of Cobra. Our orders were taken by our friendly waiter. Then our food came, I'll be honest and say we weren't expecting much, but oh boy was I wrong! The chicken balti that I had was the nuts, the chicken was so tender it almost didn't need chewing. It's the best balti I've had for a while for sure. The naans were soft and fluffy inside and that nice crispy not quite burnt outer that just completes your meal. The sides and the rice (we had one between us) were equally as good as the main. There was more than enough food, not huge portions but big enough. My mate and I left feeling comfortably full - which is good. If you're in this neck of the woods and fancy a good curry in a great atmosphere then The Delhi is the place to go! Best to book a table though. We were in on a Tuesday and it was very busy with just one table spare.

Indian restaurant with different kind of meals, prepared, cooked and served from an open kitchen. Nice to seal how the Indian cooks are preparing the food. The food is so tasty, really good (had the lamb and pumpkin dansak)! Combination of spices is perfect! Only 4 our of 5 stars because is think the price is a bit high. But for the rest it is a place I would like to go back to!

The food was good with the flavours and spice. If you want you can add additional spice to your meal. The seating area is limited so book a table if there are more than 4 people or if it's a weekend! The staff is friendly and caring. You might feel a bit pricy but considering the location and the food, it's alright! The beer option is limited!
Abhishek Chaudhury — Google review
Very nice food and friendly staff. Lovely decor in the restaurant and a good location. I've taken off 1 star because I didn't like having to walk through the kitchen to get to the restaurant, and I've taken 2 stars off because they added 10% service to the bill without informing us before hand. This essentially means all the prices are a lie and how much we'd all expected to pay was wrong.
