At the past about 2-3 years before pandemic corona. Tourist from several country will visit this temple every sunday (Japanese, American, Korean, and many more countries). I still remember the sight of it, and i do really miss that times. But the last time i visit which is 1 weeks before i upload this experience, i do find some tourist from Indian and America. I hope all place will be recover like the old times.

Nice place but extremely crowded on cny day 1 as they provide free vegetarian food whole day. Definitely worth a visit as it is a huge temple with many nice Buddha statues. Parking is by chance as it is really very crowded.

This is one of Batam main Chinese/Buddhist Temple. This is a very peaceful place. There is a huge complex with three main halls for Buddha, Guang Kong and Guan Yin. There is a vegetarian restaurant as well too. Nice place for a break and a taste for vegan food. And a shop that sells all the Buddha items, including beautiful clocks and souvenirs to buy and take home. Almost all tour agents include this in their programmed.
Tin Ko Win — Google review
Very tranquil and peaceful environment. Came here to pray for family's wellbeing and personal welbeing. There is a kindergarten and school at the back of the temple. Temple is well maintained and clean. Side note, the cafe serves one of the nicest strawberry latte I've ever had.

One of the acclaimed biggest Buddhist monasteries in the world which has become an important religious place for Buddhists and Taoists in Batam. Its architectures are impressive and environment are clean and peaceful. The area is so huge that it has 3 halls dedicated to statues of Buddha, Guang Yin and Guan Kong. There are also many granite statues of laughing Buddha and other important figures in Taoism. It's nearby a university school, gift shop, coffee stalls and a restaurant that serve only vegetarian items.
Sherab Tenzin — Google review
It's unfortunate that there wasn't much information on Fortunate Coffee. Hence, we add at the cafeteria instead. Could have tried here for the vegetarian fusion menu. Good to have the owner to post more pictures of menu. Overall, a peaceful place to be at.

This is the biggest Buddhist temple at Batam. It is a huge complex build on a little hill, with the main vihara (shrine) in the centre, and the adjacent buildings of schools like Sekolah Menengah Maitreyawira and Universitas Universal. There are preschool and primary schools too. Within the complex, there is a souvenirs shop and a restaurant selling vegetarian foods and products. This place is really worth visiting and you'll be awed by how huge the place is! I am really impressed !

Grand Mosque of Batam

Mentioned on
Mosque
Sights & Landmarks

The Grand Mosque of Batam is a beautiful and unique architectural building that should not be missed by visitors. The interior is spacious and carpeted, although seating on the floor may be challenging for some. This clean mosque has an expansive compound with a large main prayer hall and ground carpark available for parking. Visitors can also experience new culture by interacting with the locals outside of the prayer halls during prayers sessions.
Different architectural building not like other mosque design. Inside is wide and open. Carpet is appreciated because marble floor is convenient but honestly seating on the floor was not easy. Clean mosque. Interestingly there is no shoe/slipper box that you have to put somewhere outside.
yunus emre demir — Google review
A very lovely mosque that is well worth a visit for anyone visiting Batam. I spend a good hour there when prayers session was on-going. My family and I was invited to sit with the locals outside of the prayer halls. We are grateful to be able to interact with the the locals. It's a good way to experience new culture, an enchanting and spiritual afternoon The architecture was beautiful too.

It is the biggest mosque in Batam city so you can easily notice it from the main road. I think it is one of the landmarks in Batam. From this mosque you can see Welcome To Batam statue clearly. It is also famous landmarks in Batam. Inside this mosque is very comfortable. Thick carpets are installed, air conditioners, and beautiful interior design. The ablution rooms are wide enough and clean. Near the mosque you can find souvenir shops and restaurants. The parking area is not big enough for cars and motorcycles.
Pandu Prasodjo — Google review
The mosque is so big The outdoor facilities in mosque such as toilet, mirror and floor and ceiling looks so old But the inside of mosque is so clean, and cool... Love it.. We also can see the Welcome in Batam statue

Mega Mall Batam Centre

Shopping mall
Shopping
Business center
Mega Mall Batam Centre is a widely-known and expansive shopping complex that offers an array of retailers, dining choices, and entertainment options such as a supermarket and movie theater. It is a great spot to pass the time with various reasonably-priced food outlets. However, the clothing brand shops are not branded ones. Despite this, it still provides an adequate experience overall. The mall strictly implements health protocols during the pandemic so visitors need not worry about their safety while exploring the area.
As a Citizen here in Batam for more than 10+ years,i can say that this place is the best Mall located in batam. The mall is huge, both having 4 lobbies,it also has 2 parking lot sites which is huge and has lots of parking spaces. Now getting into the Mall, the place has many restaurant/places to eat here, like the fast food brands, etc. It also has shopping places and specifically the popular ones, like gucci, louis vitton (idk how to spell it),etc. It also has a huge arcade which also has a bowling area too.It also has a movie threater which has mamy movies avaible there. So this may be the best Shopping Mall in Batam Centre OAT.But when 1batam mall finnaly has more than 1 floor,it might outpass Mega Mall.Good👍

Nice place for killing the time. Many food outlets and they're rather affordable. However, the clothing brand outlets are not the branded ones. Overall is ok. Esp during the pandemic, the health protocols is totally applied so we have no worries to visit the this mall.

Mega Mall Batam Centre is a large shopping mall located in the Batam Centre area. The mall is integrated with the Batam Center Grand Mosque, Batam Ferry Port, the mayor's office, the DPRD office, and the BI office. It is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists. I recently had the opportunity to visit Mega Mall Batam Centre. I was impressed with the mall's size and variety of stores. There are over 300 stores in the mall, including fashion stores, electronics stores, department stores, and food courts. I also found that the mall was clean and well-maintained. I spent a few hours shopping at Mega Mall Batam Centre. I found some great deals on clothing and electronics. I also enjoyed eating at one of the food courts. The food was delicious and affordable. Overall, I had a positive experience at Mega Mall Batam Centre. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great shopping experience in Batam.

Great place to hangout. The location is very strategic, since it is near the ferry port. In the mall, there are a variety of dining options.
Kevin Julian — Google review
One of the OK mall to go. All of those coming from Singapore used to think that we were travelling to a low budget country, so we can buy lots of things at cheaper rate. If you were the one who is travelling in that idea, then close it. You were totally wrong. BATAM peoples were also living at singapore as per them. All those malls were equally the rate of Singapore shops. All their maximum target is touristors from Singapore, so they will reduce the price like No Change and sell the items at same price.
Mohamed Shoaib — Google review
The mall is very big, and I think the elevator positions are also good, with directional signs everywhere. You can find mostly everything here, as in any usual mall 🙂 But there is no Burger King here.
Farid Andika — Google review
Convenient location next to the ferry terminal and a decent place to eat, rest and explore after your ferry trip from Singapore. Interesting stalls with various food options. Hope that there are more eateries with vegetarian options soon!
Pavithra Raja — Google review
Directly opposite Batam Ferry Center, linked by an overhead bridge, very convenient. Lots of food option to chose from. There’s also a hypermart for groceries shopping and prices are affordable. Basically you can get most of your stuff here in this mall.

An established mall with plenty of retailers and lots of restaurants offering a wide variety of regional and western cuisine. There are several coffee shops and ATMs. There is a large Hypermarket on the lower ground floor, offering the typical groceries and retail goods. The mall is very conveniently located, being connected via a covered walkway to the Batam centre ferry terminal and being opposite the Harris Hotel, Batam centre.

It also features a shopping mall with numerous shops and eateries. The terminal is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Hang Nadim Airport, making it easily accessible for travelers. Tickets can be purchased online or at the sales counter on the second floor, with various ferry operators available.
Modern facilities that is very conducive as ferry terminal centre for international route. Very clean, safe building with information related to international travelling are abound. Information counter, baggage handling counter, ticketing counter are available within this complex.

I have a harrowing experince. Just imagine when i dropped in to woodsland ,singapore i was duped by a taxi driver. I told the driver that i wanna catch a boat to batam. And the driver sent me to harbour point where the boat service is no longer active. Mean to say that the taxi drivers doesnt knows that the ferry service to batam had been moved to Tanah Merah? The next driver that i hailed is even ridiculous. Ferry terminal last ride is at 5pm. When i reach harbour point it was already 6pm. When i check with him that i was taken for a ride he told the white taxi cannot be trusted. Only the blue taxi is more honest. Now question is he also doesnt know that the last boat is at 5pm ah? Still sending me to the terminal. We reach there around 8pm! What a joke it is. So ,we have no choice but to take his cab back to Bedok which is the nearest as what he say.

The place gets super messy during long weekends. I started queuing more than an hour before my ferry boarding time, and still was not able to board. At the beginning, the crowd was managed by officers allowing passengers to board the up-riding escalator in batches. HOWEVER, they don't check the boarding time of the passengers and just let people go in. They also allowed people who just entered the terminal (to give the benefit of the doubt) who were not aware there is a snaking queue to cut the line. A suggestion for the terminal, please check the boarding time of each passengers first and prioritize accordingly, so people can reach their ferry on time and it saves people a lot of anxiety.
Katerine Lesmana — Google review
Oh dear. The queue management is just terrible. We queued for 1.5 hours in an endless snaking line, with our toddler in a stroller, watching later comers cutting queues assisted by officers. Smoking area is just beside the line and we had no choice but to suffer from the toxic smoke and atrocious odour. Though we were offered to be in the priority queue once inside the checkpoint proper, the priority counter is the furthest one from entrance! No lift to higher levels. There’s a link bridge connecting to Mega Mall, but people need to climb some stairs at the start. The link bridge is closed as early as 8pm and no signage stating this.
Kaibin Weng — Google review
Strategically located in the downtown area that connects to Batam Mall with a link pedestrian bridge. The place is well organized and clean. This ferry terminal serves the ferry to Johor Bahru and Singapore. Ticketing counter, luggage handling service, money changer, information counter, tourists sim card services, toilets and food court are available here.
Vjay — Google review
This is one of international ports in Batam. It is easy to access if you stay in the downtown area. However, online taxis are not allowed for passenger's pick-up. You can travel to Singapore and Malaysia from here. You only need to buy ticket directly from the companies' outlet. Advanced ticket booking is not advantageous according to me. There are also some public facilities in the building such as food and beverage stalls, restrooms, and power outlets. You can also find money changers here. The staffs are friendly and helpful enough.

Sometimes the ferry will close 15 mins before departure so need to go in at least 30-40 mins as the queue can be long. Otherwise quick check in.
Naufal Husain — Google review
The terminal is not very big. On the first floor, there are a few fashion shop. Whereas on the second floor, there are a few restaurants and minimarts. You can walk over to Mega Mall using the link bridge. But their toilets are quite dirty maybe coz too people using them. The aircon is also not strong before you go through the immigration. While waiting for the ferry, they have 2 shops if you need to buy last minute souvenirs. The aircon is cooling
Sewfuntastic 2015 — Google review
We can only check-in our baggage 1h before departure time and this 1h is not enough to queue, clear customs and board the ferry on time. Advise all to not check-in baggage during long weekends and queue ahead of time so you will not miss your ferry. If you do miss your ferry, approach your operator and they probably will let u board the next ferry if there are empty seats.

It was the worst experienced. I got scammed by the money exhanger inside the Batam Terminal. Their ATM don't work with VISA so I went to the monen exchanger. When I arrived the hotel I counted and calculated the agreed conversion rate. But the money was lacking around 49SGD. Please. Dont ever exchange your money in the Batam center terminal. Do it in Singapore instead. Never ever gonna return here. The good thing is the accomodation. Thanks Swiss belinn. And the people are friendly around. Also the grab drivers.

In the center of Batam City, one of most popular ferry terminal to across our neighbor country, Singapore. its about 30 minutes to reach this place from Hang Nadim Airport. Try the new adventurous day to sail over Singapore via Ferry by this place. You can buy online ticket or offline at the sales counter located at 2nd floor. Many vary of ferry operator, I use Sindo Ferry, bought from Marlin Booking only Rp 280.000 /person round trip all are inclusive. After check in at Sindo Ferry counter, went to the Immigration Inspection, aside of boarding card, so be ready with your passport and ID (KTP). Golden Prawn 933 is a renowned seafood restaurant located in Batam, drawing in visitors from neighboring countries for its fresh and affordable seafood dishes. Situated next to the Golden View Hotel, this long-standing eatery offers a spacious and polished interior where guests can enjoy made-to-order seafood. The restaurant is particularly famous for its prawn dishes, although it also serves other delectable options such as crab and cuttlefish.
Good place for sea food lovers in batam island, Indonesia. Great ambience and atmosphere. Great place for parties and enjoyment. You can enjoy your holiday with tasty seafood here.

Really affordable fresh and live seafood. You are able to choose the seafood that you want from the aquarium or ponds. And then cook to your liking.

ordered kerang tumpah and udang mentega. overall, the price is good for the food but the service is kinda poor.
Regina Rianti — Google review
A must visit place if you enjoy seafood! Extremely affordable and great variety. Upon entering, the waiter will bring you to an area where there's a massive menu on the wall. You can then choose which dish you'll like and choose the seafood you wish to have that dish with. The best part is, you get to choose how many grams of each dish you like and the prices per kilo are already stated there so you don't have to worry about being ripped off. Once you've finished ordering, they'll bring you to your seats and you can wait for your delicious meal. I don't recommend getting coconut as it isn't served cold and was not sweet. Their ice lemon tea was great and refreshing though! We were really surprise when we ordered the salted egg crab and one crab (500g), only cost $15! One downside was, the lala was disappointing. The shell was huge but the meat was tiny. After finishing the entire dish, we felt like we barely ate any lala. The flesh was very underwhelming. We also tried the cereal prawn but we tried mantis prawn. Not our type of prawn so will stick to regular prawn in the future. Will definitely come back in the future!

Affordable seafood, and quality of food was fresh. Placed our orders by heading to the wet area where the seafood was and the staff can advise which items were in season and not in season. Prices were also displayed per 100g for your consideration.

It's a rustic restaurant build over a the water with a very nice kampong feel. It event has a stage, and allow the customers to sing karaoke during dinner. Food is nice (maybe I am spoilt with too many good food, so I give it only 3 stars), considering I am here on a company event with over 200 people, the service is fast and the food is nicely cook. Highly recommend

Went here for lunch on a Sunday during a long weekend marking end of Ramadan. Not too crowded. Available sea food were: variety of small and big fishes, prawns, tiger prawn, clams, mussels, sea snails, lobsters, crabs, etc. You can pick fresh seafood and weigh on the spot before they cook in the kitchen. Also got some vegetable dishes. Nice restaurant to try out the local seafood. But the food taste not too special. Price is definitely cheaper compared to those in Singapore.

Very very delicious and worth the money. We reached at about 6pm+ and although there were many people, we didn’t have to wait for seats. The view on the decks is great and you can enjoy the sea breeze. Food came fast and it was all very delicious. We ordered a big crab, prawns, sambal kangkong (huge serving) and tofu for only 629k including taxes. The only downside was the coconut was sour and not chilled.

I had a great experience here having seafood lunch with friends through a packaged tour. Food was tasty, service was good and the atmosphere was overall nice. The toilet could be given more care and the wall fans could have been adjusted better to cover everyone in the table. Hence 4* from me.

Golden Prawn 933 had been one of my favourite seafood restaurant every time I go Batam because of the price and atmosphere. The place is extremely huge that you definitely will find a place to be seated without waiting. I paid around RP 400,000 for a 1 KG Grouper and a 700G Lobster with a few additional dishes for 2, which the portion can be easily consumed for 3. However, the food standards had dropped by a little after COVID which made me award a 4-stars rating for the food itself instead of 5, even though I could say they are extremely fresh. The rest of the aspect such as service, atmosphere and even the value of it are extremely noteworthy.
Jarius Draslaric — Google review
Food wasnt that fantastic. But the options to choose our own seafood. And different choices of cooking. Spent 200,000rupiah per pax for 5 person. Even had live band and singing, DJ FANDY FTW

Place is quite accessible with huge carpark. You can choose the seafood before making way to sit inside the restaurant. Place is huge and plenty of tables. Seafood varieties are alot but really depends on your budget. I had 1 hongkong style steam red snapper fish, 2 crabs in butter garlic, 4 mantis shrimp using salt and pepper style, 1 ayam goreng small, 1 sambal kang kong medium and 1 hot plate egg tofu medium. On top, has 2 bottles of beer and 2 coconuts. The otak otak need to order from another person. Total cost 1.4million rupiah. To me price is okay as the seafood are live. The only problem is there are alot of mosquitoes which is super annoying.

Disappointment! I had ordered French onion soup and premium Australian sirloin. The soup that I received was a cream soup that taste like Campbell cream of mushroom soup. Thinking that they made a mistake, I sent it back but was given back the same soup 2 minutes later. The waiter insisted that it was French onion soup as there were three little onion rings inside. After a while I gave up arguing with him. To the owner - please change the description to cream of onion soup so as not to mislead your customers. I requested for the sirloin steak to be medium but what I got was well done. Should I send it back? Maybe, but after the soup episode, do you think I can convince them the steak is well done and not medium? I had read mixed review about this place and only reason I ate here tonight was because I couldn't decide where to eat and decided to give it a try. My mistake! Disappointing dinner and the steak is no better then what the stall at A2 Food Court nearby would serve and they are much cheaper. If you want to eat here, please lower your expectation so as not to be disappointed like me. The attached pictures show an authentic French onion soup and what they serve. Also picture of their premium Australian sirloin and the supposedly medium done steak that I had.

Service! Service! Service!👨‍💼 Service here is great! This Cafe serves you large portion of food! I felt full even without eating rice😂 Well..we ordered grilled salmon🐟, rib eye steak🥩, lamb chop🐑, chicken steak🐓 and grilled saba fish🎣 too. Typically, the taste is okay for me😌. We prefer the blackpepper sauce because it's taste is savory and rich. Lamb chop tastes good for me, it's tender, not so tough to bite👍🏻. But, I think the salmon has lost it's fat to enrich the taste during the grill. Overall it's still okay, thank you!🙌 🙌 🙌

Ordered the Japanese chicken curry, tasted fine. It arrived within a timely manner along with other dishes. The other items such as steak is cooked at medium rare as requested. The servers are well mannered and helpful. The outdoor dining area is quite dim but it makes a romantic atmosphere for some. Lastly, the parking lot is limited and may only fit medium sized vehicles. Overall, the restaurant is well worth it if you’re visiting Batam.

Indonesian restaurant
Freshbeer Batam Centre is a hidden gem known for its locally crafted beers and great food choices. While the beer is fresh and tasty, the place also offers a wide range of unusual animal meat dishes such as alligator, rabbit, deer, and snake. The menu includes popular items like babi rica with tender and spicy pork, green chili saba fish, baby squid goreng asam, fried beehoon cah putih, and more.
Great food choices and locally crafted beers. Food we ordered were very food and beers were refreshing. We tried 4 different beers and liked them all. Staff were friendly. Take the seats upstairs at level 4 which has nicer ambience.. and live band

Is a hidden gem in the area. You can get beer or any unusual animal meat dish here. By unusual I mean, [ alligator/crocodile, rabbit, deer, snake ] meat. As their shop name implies, their main product is beer. 8% is the highest amount you can get. If you like to hangout with friends and beer, do came here.

Shake with cabe Hijau was gooood. Beef with ginger was overcooked. Frong Mentega was fab. Prok ribs weren't tender enough but ok lah. Stir fried mixed veg was ok as usual.
Sara N. — Google review
Sadly no longer serving house brewed beers - only usual ubiquitous Heineken Bintang and a few other canned imports. Lots of menu items unavailable. In the middle of abandoned shop lots. Ok for a sundowner but wouldn’t say it was a destination.

Too bad they stop brewing and selling in house beer. Was here for that exactly, however this is a nice place to hangout, alone or with your gang. Waiter is really friendly. And oh, they serve widerange selections for you carnivores; bat, deer, pork, lamb, crocodile (or aligator -dunno if it matters) beef, toad, snake. And seafoods.

One of the best place for me in batam. Price reasonable, place not noisy, food excellent. Always go when have free time and bring my own fish there ask them cook and also taste excellent.

The beer is fresh and tasty with some fun tabletop serving options. The food is ok but come here for the beer. Great atmosphere and the live music is enjoyable. Staff are helpful but not attentive.

Decided to take a ferry to Batam just to look for this place after reading about it online for its exotic menu available. (Don't worry, there are 'normal' food selections too for everyone) Took a 15mins cab ride from Harbour Bay terminal as I wasnt confident of finding it as it's not along the main road. Started with the green beer. Taste wise, domestic lager. But I am not there for that. It quenches and has the ABV so no complains here. Jumped in with Crocodile, had it goreng (fried) and had the snake meat cooked with black pepper. LOVED both. The black pepper was so aromatic. The fried sliced croc made perfect bar bites with beer. Portion wasnt too big so I could order the Biawak (Monitor Lizard) which is only served Goreng style. It comes on bone so dig in with your hands and dip it in the spicy sweet black sauce. Meat has a natural sweetness to it. This has to be my fav dish of the 3. They have taken bat off the menu so that was a slight disappointment. But hey, still a strong exotic offering. Very friendly female staff who tended to me. Will be back again to try other food!

Bakery
Diana Layer Cakes is a Batam-based bakery known for its traditional Indonesian layer cakes and prunes. The cakes are fluffy with a delightful buttery aroma and are not overly sweet. They ship a limited amount of freshly-made cakes to Singapore every other week. Unlike other bakeries, Diana Layer Cakes exclusively sells their products at their outlet or through online orders. Their location in Batam center can be a bit challenging to find.
Diana Homemade Kueh Lapis in Batam is a true gem! The rich layers of their kueh lapis are an indulgent delight, boasting an exquisite blend of flavors. Each bite is a testament to the craftsmanship and passion that goes into creating these delectable treats. A must-try culinary experience!

A popular place for all the travellers from Singapore. We bought once but not big fan..
Eva Su — Google review
A local delicacies, off the beaten path which without guidance you will never found. Better get reservations for the cakes, their queue is unbelievable. Reach through calling, and manage to get 1. You will never found this kind of lapis in Singapore. Buy and eat to believe.

The cakes does taste better with abit of age, very well made Kueh Lapis with excellent service! We ordered and have them delivered to our hotel in the morning of our checkout date. Honestly it’s been a great service. Even coming here you will get to sample some before buying. Couple with free iced water to sip while you are here! 10/10 👌🏻

Love this layer cakes soooo much, very recomended
Achie Andhini — Google review
Have tried a number of places and Diana by far the best. The price is a bit higher than other but knowing that they use good butter warrants such price. There are those that are similar priced but are using margarine. Also, Diana’s cakes are fragrant and not overly sweet. If you buy the full size, it will be packed in Tupperware and not carton box. This prevents your cake getting flattened.
Hax Mays — Google review
One of Batam Best home-based Layer Cake with distinctive Indonesian authentic style bakes, not overly moist/greasy with subtle buttery taste and soft texture. Highly recommended
Erlina Tan — Google review
They offer only 2 types of cakes - original and prunes. The cakes are freshly made and using good ingredients. Like it especially as it’s not so sweet and smooth. Pricing is reasonable, similar to the popular brands.
Cecilia Ng — Google review
Popular homemade layered cakes in Batam. In my opinion, the best one on the island. Comes in the original flavour or the one with prunes on the top.
Jon — Google review
Moist, buttery and flavourful kueh lapis! Love the original flavour.
Hazel Nut — Google review
Cake is nice but never ever pay in other currencies. Tend to overcharge according to their personal exchange rate/s.
softsnugshot — Google review
Truly the best kueh lapis (layer cake). The prune one is simply awesome - my personal favourite. Full of flavour and moisture without being too oily. A must buy whenever you're in Batam. Congratulations to you all for this wonderful product!

Sundanese restaurant
Ikan Bakar Cianjur in Batam is a renowned restaurant known for its Indonesian cuisine. The Nasi Liwet, Tahu, and Ikan dishes are highly recommended for their tenderness, juiciness, and flavorful taste. The ambiance is cozy with nice decor, although the air conditioning may not be fully functional at times. The restaurant offers spacious seating and private rooms for up to 20 persons, making it suitable for family dinners.
Nasi Liwet is mind-blowing good. Tahu is also very tender, juicy and flavourful. Ikan (fish) is super fresh, sweet and flavourful as well, pairs really well with the chili and the sauce. As a Singaporean, I must say I can absolutely not find this anywhere else in Singapore. The food standards pretty high notch. I would 100% come back and try again. Ambiance decor is pretty nice, seems pretty cozy. However, air conditioning seems to be not working as well. It's also just tiny wee bit dusty. Really small issues regardless.

The food here was incredible! My favorites were the fried chicken, fried fish (I think was catfish), and the spinach. They were all fried and cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. I'm not used to cutting fish off the bone, but here it was pretty easy too. It was nice eating with the rice and some of then sauce. The fruit was kinda boring though.
Alex Issokson — Google review
All the fried food is fresh, tasty and not oily at all. Remember to order the soup and rice cos is very tasty. Clean and nice place to dine.

Nasi Liwet is highly recommended. Very sastifying meal at reasonable price R$614k (abt S$53) for 4 pax.

Good quality and taste of the food, if you dunno where to get your meal, just come here and it will never fails, my fave is nasi liwet and avocado juice.
Irwan Junardi — Google review
Nice place to have grilled or fried fish, enjoy sundanese cuisine. Spicy chilli went well with grilled gurame fish. Nasi liwet was fragrant, rich with abit salty taste of small fish. I enjoyed the grilled chicken and fried squid.
Stephanie Tan — Google review
Renowned restaurant for its indonesian cuisine and taste. Really recommend Nasi Liwet (Steam Rice with Fish), grill chicken. For foreigner price will be cheap. For indonesian, price is affordable but i can find cheaper and more delicious one. Haha. But recommend it for family dinner because spacious space and also they have private room up to 20 persons.
Yan Putra — Google review
The restaurant has many branches in Indonesia. Serves West-Javanese cuisine. Interior was spacious, air conditioned. Service time was fast. Service crews were good. Food turned out to be okay, there's some adjustment to suit local palate. Price was fair (on the higher side), could see tons of tourists during peak period. Walk to Batam Center ferry terminal was about 15mins.

Nasi Leput is delicious. We loved their nasi goreng java too. Sambal is not spicy and it's free flow. Sedap!
Kathleen Lok — Google review
Both fried fish and grilled chicken are so yummy !! Their seafood fried rice has very strong wok hey and toufu is very crispy and soft. Restaurant is clean with aircon.

One of the finest dining experiences in Batam! The establishment is impeccably clean and comfortably air-conditioned. The standout dish here is the Gurame Goreng Merah Putih, but everything else on the menu is equally delicious. The Nasi Liwet is particularly aromatic and delightful.
Yong — Google review
The dishes was ok, not fantastic (3 stars). But the rice dish called Nasi Liwet was really really good (5 stars). Fragrant coconut milk, mix in the fried small anchovies and the rice is so addictive and can be eaten on its own! Staff service was just ok. Atmosphere in restaurant was a little dim, lighting was not sufficient. Private rooms are available. Parking is plentiful outside.
Cedric Choo — Google review
The place is clean and well ventilated. The food here is good. Tofu is soft. The fried fish is good - the meat ain’t dry. Didn’t get to try soto ayam as it is sold out. Chili may be on the spicier side. There is some wait required especially if you visit during peak hours.
Lam Zhi Hao — Google review
The ikan geprek was good, chilli is fresh. Fried squid was so-so, was cold when served. Coconut tasted artificial, maybe really isn’t the fresh one. Overall was okay.
Danielle Saw — Google review
The gurame goreng is the best dish. The soto ayam soup is not bad The vegetable dishes of bittergourd & sambal kangkong is ok but portions are small, so it can be deemed abit pricy The nasi liwet was something we wanted to try. It is ok but nothing great.
Harry Low — Google review
Was here for lunch, Ordered Gurame Bakar as main dish, the fish is big enough to be eaten for 2 person, the seasoning is nice and you also get 2 types of sambal. The portion for the rice and vegetables is a bit small though. Also had Es Tempo Doeloe as dessert and it tastes great! You could also share this since it is also big. The place is a bit pricy but the quality speaks for itself.
Muhammad Ismail 554 — Google review
Many people here when dining hour and caused they forgot our orders. Fried squid and the fish is good.
Sze Li Tan — Google review
The food was alright. EXCEPT that I LUV their coconut rice. It's not as different or special as we initially thought. So my review would be to not put high hopes on this place.
