A must do on holiday! Driving into the hills, 500m above see level and into the nature reserve. Breathtaking views. Excellent driver. Stopped for a break at the top. The 360° panorama is amazing.

A very beautiful scenery with blue sea and mountains. There is a path that follows the coastline you can walk easily 🚶‍♀️ and enjoy the view. It's so lovely for a stroll that makes you feel tobe in contact with nature. Take the swimming Suite with you, because it's so easy to find the small beaches for swimming there.

Excavation site with ancient Greek, Roman & Visigoth features, plus remains of a medieval monastery.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Citadel of Roses with my family, and I must say it was a truly enchanting experience. The respectful restoration of this historical landmark truly captured the essence of its rich history while ensuring its longevity for generations to come. Walking through its ancient walls, we were transported back in time, marveling at the intricate architecture and the stories embedded within each stone. The Citadel of Roses is not just a monument; it's a testament to the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. Our family's visit was not only enjoyable but also educational, leaving us with a deeper appreciation for the history and craftsmanship that went into creating such a remarkable place.

Cap de Creus (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkab də ˈkɾɛws]) is a peninsula and a headland located at the far northeast of Catalonia, some 25 kilometres (16 mi) south from the French border. The cape lies in the municipal area of Cadaqués, and the nearest large town is Figueres, capital of the Alt Empordà and birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Cap de Creus is the easternmost point of Catalonia and therefore of mainland Spain and the Iberian Peninsula. The area is now a Natural Park.

The dining experience at GOZOS MUNDANOS winery was exceptional from beginning to end. The seafood tapas were exquisite and sophisticated, while the desserts were uniquely flavorful and delightful. The recommendation includes the shrimp and avocado canneloni, scallops, and a raspberry truffle dessert shaped like a mushroom. The kitchen staff demonstrated their creativity by creating and testing new dishes that resulted in a spectacular night for all the guests.
(Translated by Google) We found Gozos via Trip Advisor. Every cent in the store is well spent. You get a German menu, even our waiter spoke quite good German, although English would have been enough. For each course you are given an explanation of what is on the plate. I ate a fillet that was grilled to perfection. The dessert (the fly agaric made from strawberries and white chocolate) was presented with dry ice, which was not only a delicious dessert but also an experience. The Gozos is in a small side street, definitely go but make a reservation in advance.

We were lucky to get a table at dinner time without having a reservation, it was fully booked. So we had big expectations according to the Google Reviews. Guided by the owner himself we ordered a few dishes to share. Each btw. 15-25€. The "Amuse Buche" was a nice surprise and made us more curios. The food looked amaizing, but.... the fried calamari were hard to chew, so do the Tuna Belly slices and they were pricy. I'm Sorry but the quality didn't respond to the price. We spoke with owner and his reaction was to thank us for the onest feedback.

This place is truly amazing! Wow! Everything they served was out of this world good and beautifully plated. The wines were great too. What a nice find! At first we thought the place looked like just a wine tasting front but their food was the highlight. We had the waygu beef and it was so tender with a hint of smokiness. Definitely try this place out you won’t regret it!

Mediterranean restaurant
Specializing in French cuisine with international influences, Las III Caravelas is a highly recommended restaurant in Roses. It offers a delightful atmosphere and great value for money. While they have an à la carte menu, it is advisable to choose either the 12.90 euro lunch menu which includes a starter, main course, and dessert or the 19.90 euro market menu. This cozy and welcoming restaurant boasts vibrant decor and outdoor dining options.
Excellent cozy and friendly restaurant with good food.. The place is colorful and has a couple of tables for outdoor eating. They have a two course meal set for dinner with appetizer and main course. The owner/chef is very accommodating, and created a vegetarian version on the fly, we were impressed. The food was very tasty, freshly prepare with care. Overall a lovely experience.

This place gave us a good vibe. It has a cosy atmosphere, design and had a relaxing Caribbean / Cuban music when we went. The French lady was very welcoming and we tasted her wonderful home refreshing juice. The dishes were tasty and the plating artistically made. A very suitable refuge in front of a hot Mediterranean afternoon. :)

The place was lovely. The restaurant is a small place with an antique look. At first site some people might not even notice this place but it was the nest restaurant we went to during our visit to roses. The host is a very welcoming person. She doesnot have a big menu to present but whatever is on the menue is just excellent. The quality and the quantity is perfect. The prices tooo. We ordered white and red sangria recommended by the host. I would suggest you do the same. Loved this place. Must visit.
Shivam Sharma — Google review
Avoid. Food wasn't terrible but when you don't get half the menu you pay for, it's far far too expensive. Although not terrible the food wasn't worth the price. Waiter needs to learn how to wait tables. Tried to make us pay for a half filled glass of wine and didn't bother giving us a glass for the water. £70 for two mediocre mains (didn't get starters but still charged) and 1 and a half glasses of wine. I know it's Monday but ffs come on.

Words cannot describe the experience we had in Las Caravelas! We are lovers of good food and tried several different restaurants in Roses during our stay and this was by far the best food experience we had. The service was excellent, our waitress (I'm not sure of her name) was amazing at recommending the right food and drink for us. We had a white Sangria with fresh fruit which was to die for! The chef ( who owns the restaurant) was top class, each dish was bursting with flavour and originality, tasting as good as it looked. And as for the price, it was very affordable for the high standard of food and drink we had. Overall we highly recommend to dine here during your stay in Roses. You won't be disappointed!
lydia mcdonnell — Google review
On a sunny June afternoon I enjoyed two very tasty and beautifully presented plates with a glass or two of suggested wine for lunch. The service is friendly, polite and personal-it lacks nothing. Decor is eclectic French, dare I say colonial on the street. The person who attends the table and takes care of her guest speaks a variety of languages including very good English and is very informative about each dish, on a menu of locally sourced food that they change each day. It's terrific value for money and overall I'd warmly recommend the experience of dining in this restaurant. Classy and authentic, with a French chef who can prepare a wide range of Mediterranean dishes, some of them to order the day before.

Located on the outskirts of Roses, Pasko's Balkan Grill Restaurant is renowned among locals and travelers for its expertise in Balkan cuisine and meat dishes. While it doesn't offer local gastronomy, this restaurant comes highly recommended. The staff suggests trying their Girice, a Balcanic-style cooked boquerones dish priced at 8 euros, the Balcanic meat grill for 17 euros, and the Cevapc c kebab-like dish for 10 euros.
One of my favourite places in the world: warm welcome, delicious Balkan/Mediterranean (and even Indian) food, serene setting, hospitable hosts - what more can you ask for? Don't miss a chance to eat here, it's worth it.

We saw that the experience took a deep dive the last few years. Owner was absent. Tables seemed false reserved and the food wasn’t timed at all. Sorry, but I can not recomend it. First surprise, a French guy handling a Spanish traditional food restaurant, that's what we call Epic fail!! A short masterclass about Spanish restaurants for tourists that should run away from these places: - first thing a Spanish restaurant does when you sit down to eat, is serving you a small basket with any kind of bread and something to start to eat, like olives or chips. You do not need to ask for it. - You can't call "tapa" everything. A "tapa" is a small portion, slice or piece of a main plate. It can cost 2 or 3 euros, maximum 4, but if it costs 8 or 9 euros, is not a tapa, it is a main plate (example, a tapa of meatballs include 2, half portion - "media ración" - includes 4-5 of them and "ración" is the whole main plate with 8-10 meatballs). - If you choose meat or fish, not always but usually you will be asked if you prefer salad or potatoes with the food ("acompañamiento"). And finally, I have been student, do not try to tell me what is homemade food and what is industrial precooked food that you just warm a little bit before serving, I have fed myself for years with this kind of stuff!!

When visiting Roses, it is highly recommended to dine at Restaurant Las Palmeras. Although there may be a wait for a table due to its immense popularity, the experience is well worth it. Located on the promenade with beachfront views and close proximity to a convenient car park, this restaurant caters to all tastes with its extensive menu options. Particularly noteworthy are the fish dishes, as Las Palmeras consistently delivers both in terms of quality and quantity.

Even 1 star is too much. They say to be able to handle in case of a gluten problem, but shame on the restaurant, We told the personal that one disk must be gluten free. The patato's are not garanteed free of them so one meal without patato''s and gues what they delivered? A disk with patato's. So the man was told it is not what we discussed and ordered. Sorry, wait a moment. He took the dish and returned immidialtely with the same dish without patato's. He just removed them and that's it. Lateron we told this to the owner and he excused. On the window is a certification for allergics but.... This was last year and this year we tried again because it is a nice lokation. We told the waiter of the gluten in Spanish and in English. He understood but what was delivered? A dish without patato's but other parts with gluten so we called him. No problem and he took the dish and returned immidiately with the dish without the glutenparts. Exact the same as last year. I told him that is exactly what happaned last year because the rests of the glutenparts stayed. No that not thrue and another waiter pointed at the fact that we should have ordered something onther because the bacon should also have gluten. The waiter offered a free drink and ordered it. after 10 minutes and looking at and waiting for the drink we went away. The most bad service we ever had. So a warning for people with intolerancy to foodproblems. Never go to eat here.
