Svete Višarje (Monte Santo di Lussari, Luschariberg ali Monte Luschari, Mont Sante di Lussari, 1766 m) is a beautiful place to visit, and a very nice hike (ca. 2 hours). The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking.

The best place to visit for winter sport ! It’s a well know place for skiers ⛷️ and it’s beautiful small village on the top of the mountain! You can park the car near comporosso and take a cable car which is not expensive to go up it will take you there in 10 to 15mins ! It’s a nice place to visit in summer and winter

An amazing place for weekend skiing. Less than two hours from the airport in Ljubljana. You can leave your car at the foot of the mountain at the free parking in Camporosso In Valcanale, where you can also rent a ski equipment. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet place, it is worth staying in one of the three small hotels on the top of mountain. During winter a gondola lift is closed at 16:00. From this time only a small group of hotel guests and service stay on the top. Silence, peace, amazing views. Priceles

The views and mountainous landscape are truly stunning. Accesible during summer by tele cabina, discounted to 7€ if bought at 5, just before desk closing. There are plenty of bars / restaurants offering decent prices

Exceptional place. Worth every minute spent there. You can only get there by gondola, but what a place to be. Beautiful.

The heaven on earth. There are cafes above the mountain where we can eat while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. The cable car service makes it easier to reach the top of the mountain. One of the best place for skiing.

It's cute but needlessly expensive. A bit of a tourist trap for the non-experienced. 20€ for the chairlift thingy was a rip off and the Albergo restaurant at the top is a rip-off. Thank god for the gorgeous view which made the thing at least somewhat worthwhile.

Absolutely stunning and beautifull. I went there in the summer and now in the winter and I cant decide what is more beautifull. Its perfect for skiing, walking , enjoying beautifull view and good food. I recommend to everyone to go there in summer and in winter. There is cable car in Camporosso that will take you up. Sill under the impression of that beautiful place.

Not so Bad skiing area... but, avoit it if there is any possible national holiday in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria or Italy... slow and old ski lifts, very narrow terrain, too many first lessons skiers and a lack of parking space... I recommend it only if there is sun, during week and if you see a lot of parkings.. than, ok..

Beautiful lakes! You can walk around them in 1.5h. Recommended to wear good shoes. Enough parking space, €4 per day.

Lovely place to chill and relax. The car parking to the lakes for the day cost €5 .. you can take your dogs and picnics with you. They have done nice benches to seat and enjoy the scenery. If you need toilets they have some public portaloo toilets otherwise you can use the ones at the private places like restaurants. The lakes are walking distance. You can drive or arrive by bus but not sure how often is the bus to this place. They have a mini market inside where you can buy local cheese, salami, bread honey etc

This is a lovely place in Italy very close to the border with Austria. You could have a nice walk around the lake , or hiking in a more challenging trails around. Breathtaking views. Highly recommended.

Great place to visit if you are in the area of Tarvisio. These two alpine glacial lakes are awesome in winter, from the lower lake you can easily walk along the trail to the upper lake. You can access the upper lake with the car toll costs € 4,00.

One of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen. The lake seems almost magical. It has clear beautiful waters with forests and pastures all around it. The view of the Alps is simply stunning. Bring empty SD card and a full battery!

We stopped at the lake to take a quick bath after mountain-hiking. The water had pleasant 19 degrees, very invigorating. Water is clear and clean. Not crowded at all. The surrounding of the lake is simply breathtaking.

One of the most beautiful lakes in this part of Italy. It's beautiful, the water is really clean and a bit cold, but not so much. It's a must see when in Italy or even in Slovenia in Kranjska Gora, because it's only a 30-minutes drive from there. You can chill on the shore, there is a restaurant and cafe as well.

We saw this lake from a viewpoint and had to visit. You can walk down onto the beach. Absolutely stunning.

Beautiful alpine lake surrounded by a dramatic rugged panorama of steep mountains. Don't expect many "services", but there is a bar at the top end which also serves food, located next to a couple of small beaches that are good for bathing (and a car park). Looks like you can hire recreational boats at one of the beaches. It's not huge, and it has a walking trail around it. I could just sit for hours and look at the changing clouds at the summit of the peaks surrounding the lake.

Interesting exhibition. Guide was very friendly. Lunch at the nearby restaurant was very good. The town is undergoing extensive renovations, so there is limited movement.

This is a cosy Café with delicious food. It is quite big and you can find here lots of choice for breakfast, there is also gluten free choices of bread. Perfect start of the day

Refrwshing glass of Forst and the food was delicious. I am not even mentioning the view. I had half my face sunburnt by choosing to sit outside but it was not to be missed.

We stayed at the Rifugio Al Convento (2 adults 2 kids) and it was such an amazing experience. The staff were lovely and great communication. Jure welcomed us and was super easy about moving the dates we stayed around. The rooms must have just been remodeled and have all the modem comforts. Just looks at the pictures for the view! Dinner was fantastic. We hope to come back again soon!

We stayed two nights at rifugio Al convento and had the absolute best time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and exceeded our expectations time and time again. The food was also excellent and recommend the balsamic salami appetizer. This is a great spot for an overnight with access to several runs and cross-country paths. The rooms were well done, simple with nice views of the mountains.

A surprisingly good spot in a resort town with limited dining options. The menu includes numerous seafood options and features an Asian twist in many of its items. The staff are friendly, efficient and speak English, German and Italian.

Revised review: Greeted by a friendly waitress. My son enjoyed a delicious buffalo pizza, and my eldest had a very authentic pizza dish and enjoyed the dessert - great presentation. I decided to skip dinner, and ordered nothing, yet was still charged the cover fee of €2... Go figure.

Strange take on a pizza but excellently done. I’m a thin base fan but a thick base worked the way it was served. Excellent prosciutto and cold mozzarella on top of cooked mozerrella and Passatto base. Best beer I’ve had in a long time and superb desert. Good service on top.

Excellent dinner by chef Francesco. We are from New York and we’re visiting Tervisio on a bicycle tour. Last night we were fortunate enough to have dinner at L’Altro Gusto. By far the best dinner of our cycling tour through Slovenia, Italy and Austria. Clearly chef Francesco is a very talented chef. His pizza dough is incredibly light, the Spaghettoni with fresh tuna had an abundance of flavors and the tagliata was flavorful and incredibly tender. Such delicious food! The portions are quite big so make sure you are hungry! The Schnitzel and fries were perfect but the true star was the bean soup; absolutely delicious!

Good pizza, ambiente with charme of landscape taverne, price ok.

We ordered few different plates, capriolo con polenta, frico, milanese, goulash and few different pasta. We started eating and the we notice a white hair in the plate inside the food, we called the waiter and she replaced the plate. (She gave the explanation that probably that hair was from the capriolo). The other dishes weren’t so good, the frico was really small, the goulash and the capriolo weren’t cooked properly, the meat was really chewy. We even try to order some dessert, but even the profiteroles wasn’t successful. The profiteroles were empty and no cream inside. At 9pm (restaurant close at 9.30pm) the waiter turn off half of the lights of the restaurant, we were eating the dessert. Once was time to pay and get dress to go out, the waitress came out from the back of the restaurant with a dog (a white dog, same as the hair found in the plate). I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and I wouldn’t go back in there.

DO NOT GO! the place smells badly, of cat urine. I mention that I like animals (I have 2 dogs and 2 cats). In 26.02.24 we had a reservation and one of the cat entered in the kitchen with the chef and the other one was sleeping in one chair in the serving area. The staf was unfriendly and they did not recognize that one cat is in the kitchen.

We come to Tarviso often and we where here couple of times before, always all good till today. Wanted to grab a coffee and some pastici, but lady was unpleasant and told us they serve coffee after 17h!, although there was a couple sitting on a terrace and having coffee and every other table completely empty. Not coming back

Not too good and not too bad. Food was ok but really nothing special. Food and drinks were quite expensive in comparison to other restaurants in Tarvisio. Also we were there on a rainy day and the parking was extremely soaked and muddy. So do not wear nice shoes in case of bad weather. However, the staff was really friendly and the place is nicely decorated.
