Was debating between a 3 or 4 star. I did not like the black angus steak that I ordered. I ordered medium rare but it was so rare. They cooked it again but still rare when it came back. Hard to cut and very chewy. I didn’t like it or the fries very much and it was $36 euro. I didn’t eat much or it. Thank goodness my family finished it off for me so it didn’t just get tossed out. The other 3 plates my family had which included the duck, fish and chips, and salmon were good. That’s why I bumped the review to a 4. I prob wouldn’t return or if I did I’d order a pasta, not the steak.

Very good food for the price, staff was helpfull, spoke English and very friendly. Clean toilet and cosy atmosphere. Would eat there again

Good portions, fast service and tasty food

We had lunch here with the parents and it was good. I mean the food deserves 5 stars...it's just how food shoud be in terms of taste, portion and plating. But the minus 1 star is because the prices are high...Saint Tropez-like high. 14 € for a croque monsieur with fries is a lot. My bf had the bowl poulet (was cheaper-17 €)and again, was soo, soo tasty and complete. Even the ice cream was really yummy and huge. :) So yes, we recommend it.

Best restaurant in Sainte Maxime. Lots of choice - even vegan options. easonable prices. Dog friendly . Excellent staff. Our waiter Billy (Tom Cruise) was so good. Owner Ludwij made us really welcome and made room for our large dog. One night was really good jazz band. Definitely recommend.

Our second visit equals the great service and good food since last year. Children are very welcome and will be provided with color pens and paper for drawing.

Excellent food in large portions. The service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed Large cups of rose wine ( locally made) served with ice.

Went there twice with family during our holiday. The services are great and it's children friendly. Has vegetarian/vegan choices. The waiter offered to park our baby buggy at busy lunch hours. I had burger the first visit and linguini with clams second time. A family member had beef ribs and it tasted amazing. If I go again I would order that!

Very pleasant traditional pizzeria dowtown Sainte Maxime. Oven is not electric but use wood, making a whole difference ! A nice address to go

Had dinner here without a reservation on a Sunday. Was no problem. Both pastas were amazing. But it is a lot of food! Maybe next time we share one and get some starter or a basic pizza to share. Prices are fair, especially for the amount of good you get. It is quite a hectic atmosphere. A lot going on, waiting staff running around the people on the street that pass by.

No, no, no. Or yes, if you are looking for average food poisoning or preparing for colonoscopy. Bad service, bad service, bad food. Or the food is maybe good, but when served cold and rushed to get out in an hour, it’s a bad food. Pity. The new owners just killed a terrific job done by the founder. Below is my review from two years back. Thanks. This place is getting better and better. Visited it 10 years in row. Only issue I see is the increasing portion size. Good choices, superb kitchen, nice staff. Worth each penny. Just make your booking a day in advance. Pity they don’t sell the house maid pasta also to cook at home.

The pizza was good even though it’s a bit too thin. We also got the meatballs, good too! And the fried calamari were perfect. They only problem we had was with the staff, the girl at the desk was very rude but luckily the waiter that served us was very friendly and polite and put a patch on it. I’d advise the staff in general not to talk about the customers thinking they can’t hear them, it’s not professional.

This is good Italian restaurant with decent prices in an otherwise touristy spot. All true classics, such as lasagne, carbonara, many pizzas, calzones and so on, are all here. Of course there is a big selection of seafood, from shrimps, to seabass, to calamari, to midies and so on. Fresh fish arrival is on Tuesdays. We have ordered good lasagna and seafood salad one day and pizza and calzones other day. Everything was amazing, lasagne is juicy and fresh, pizza and calzones full of cheese and ingredients, seafood are fresh and done to perfection. Everything is done so perfectly there is no fishy taste at all, great sauces and tasty proteins. They serve great Italian peroni beer and of course nice rose, which was very citrusy, with a hint of lemon. Waiters are super friendly, speak English without problem. Price wise it is quite typical of restaurants in area and even slightly below average.

Overall average quality pasta, but can't comment on the pizza.

Best hotel , restaurant and spa in the world

The best hotel in the world! I could live here! I come every summer since the opening in 2010. The service is six stars, everyone is very kind and they give you a big smile every time. Can’t compare to any other place in the world. I have been all around and this is still the best summer retreat for me. I love having the villa and ordering special dinners in! They do everything perfectly!

On our honeymoon, my wife and I stayed here and it was nothing short of incredible. Aside from the beautiful room, gym and facilities, they had the single greatest service I've ever experienced. The story goes: We stayed four nights in THE nicest suite complete with a very large landscaped terrace. The room had just been renovated with a gorgeous modern design, in fact we took inspiration photos for the design of our new apartment in NYC. On night #2, my wife falls very ill (a stomach virus from... me), to the point where we had to seek medical assistance. At 2am, I call the concierge. Bastian, who spoke perfect English, came directly to our room and called the hospital who informed us that there was a six hour wait in the emergency room. The doctor on the phone instructed him to give her a specific medication that La Reserve luckily had on site. Bastian's care, demeanor, and swiftness at 3am really made us feel much more comfortable with the unfortunate situation. Bastian really acted like she was his own daughter. The medication worked and La Reserve called a doctor first thing in the morning who came to our room and sent someone from the hotel to the pharmacy in town when they opened. My wife thankfully recovered soon after. It was a very scary situation and La Reserve did all the right things. As mentioned, aside from being one of the most beautiful hotels ever, I highly recommend La Reserve for their incredible services. Thank you to the entire La Reserve team but mainly Bastian!

A dream!😍 Perfect spot at the Cote d’Azur, Hotel ist top of the line, everything is Perfect from the rooms over to the view and service. The restaurant is also unmatched, dining in this atmosphere is just simply amazing.

Best run hotel near St. Tropez. A real retreat and place of tranquility. The best getaway from the Tropez buzz. Great asian restaurant on the rooftop with commanding views. Surely one of the best hotels on the whole Cote Azur. Highly recommandable even just for a drink. A true gem!
