Saint-Tropez

The French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) is the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France. It includes famously glamorous beach resorts such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes, and the independent microstate of Monaco. A health retreat in the 18th century, the area later attracted aristocrats, artists and the 1960s "jet set." Today it’s an established holiday destination, with paths connecting many coastal villages and towns.

The Citadel of Saint-Tropez is a historical fortress that now houses a museum with nautical exhibits and a scenic roof terrace. The building dominates the hillside overlooking St-Tropez to the east, providing fantastic views of the bay. The museum focuses on Tropezienne and Provencal seafarers, tracing their history through fishing, trading, exploration, travel and naval warfare.
It’s a beautiful museum with a lot of interesting items related to ships and sailing. The museum is located in the fortress with nice views at the sea and city.
Natalia Danilovich — Google review
It's definitely worth the walk up to the top. Entry was only €4. Fabulous view of the bay, plus a museum with details of the nautical history of the area to the present day power boating. Art installation around the place of cool sculptures too. WC and water available.

Interesting history. Fantastic views. Very reasonably priced to get in. €4!!

You probably heard about the posh french city. It's very nice. Filled with expensive cars, expensive boats and people. Im planning my next heist to take place here *bass jazz music start playing*
Franco Richeti — Google review
We almost didn't make the climb. To be honest, we were in search of a restroom. The museum was all we could find at the time. SO GLAD WE DID THIS. The museum is excellent. It offers a complete history of the area and how the structure came to be. It also houses many interesting maritime artifacts and sailing ship-building exhibits. The structure is beautifully preserved and has complete access for visitors. The views from the Citadel are extraordinary. Across the bay, you can see the distant Alps. And the town of Saint-Tropez lays out below you. There's an unencumbered 360º view of the area that's just breathtaking. And . . . there are restrooms
Jay TMG — Google review
Beautiful views from Citadel. We didn't have time for the exhibits, but the views are worth the price of admission.
Walter Miguel — Google review
Fortress-turned-museum, showcasing nautical exhibits, Saint-Tropez’s maritime history and famous figures. It also offered beautiful views of the bay.
Angel Khong — Google review
Really recommend going here. The views you get are already worth 4 euro you pay. The museum is also nice. Gives you an insight about the history from long ago to more recent events in the area. I do feel like they are trying to cover a lot of topics, which makes it all a bit of an inconsistent story to follow as you walk around. But that could also be because the signs are both French and English but the most of the sound clips are not.
Simone Puhl — Google review
Great place, easy to access if you can walk well, much detail was put into the exhibition. Many fun facts to the site. You can make great photos from there.
D Maag — Google review
Solid castle/museum. It’s only $4 euro a person to go in. Nice views. Could visit or not, wouldn’t make it break the experience or trip to St. Tropez. Nice history tho!
Christine Peral — Google review
This is a hidden gem that is well worth walking up the lanes and steps to. Inside the castle is a labyrinth of rooms which are really interesting and informative. You can see a lot of time effort and money has been put into this place. Absolutely recommend.

The Place des Lices is a historical landmark in Saint-Tropez. It is located in the heart of the city and was once the site of public executions. Today, it is a popular tourist destination, and contains a number of restaurants, bars and cafes.
Great square with typical french atmosphere accompanied with several exclusive shops around it.

Oasis of calm. Been here several times at all times of year and although typical enough to the locals, for the tourist it feels authentic and unchanged, especially when compared to the hype of St Tropez
Corrie Fraser — Google review
Very busy but ambient area where people gather to play key des boules, drink something, hang to tap or watch the people passing.also there is a market multiple times a week. Plenty of restaurants around the square for a nice dinner or a full night out. Great place to spot cars

The café area is quaint, but rather small, while the restaurant area appears to be too big for the limited menu on offer. Popular with influencers and the like. Expect significant waiting times for the café.

Still traditional with many big trees. As long as it stays NOT MODERN it will be perfect. Visit the Marché, it's really nice!

Decent market. Rife with pick pockets though. Not worth the visit to have your purse stolen. Gendarmerie were helpful but it appears to be a common occurrence on market days.....

Great communal space in the Centre of St Tropez away from the hustle of the port. We were lucky enough to catch a brass band playing.
David Hadley — Google review
Of course the prices are high but the setting, the service and the quality make it all worthwhile
Ian Relf — Google review
Great little spot. A nice little oasis. Nothing like super-special. But enough benches and trees to make it nice. There's a fountain, of course. During Christmas it's decked out with live trees, many flocked, and has a nice festive look. In the center is an ice rink - two, actually - one for little ones, the other for more accomplished skaters. Along the each side street is a collection of restaurants and places to grab food to eat in the park. Super spot to rest up, have a casual bite, take in Bocci game, and watch Saint-Tropez life go by

The Annonciade Museum is an art museum in Saint-Tropez, housing a collection of paintings by prominent modern artists who worked in the town. The museum was first opened in 1950, and is known for its collection of works by Paul Signac, Georges Braque, Maurice Denis, and other notable artists of the early 20th century.
A surprisingly voluminous exhibition with some exciting paintings. Definitely worth the price of 4 euros. A nice surprise!

Chapel-turned-museum, Musee de l’Annonciade displayed amazing artwork by French artists like Signac, Marquet, Matisse and Rouault. Not the biggest museum and it felt more like an art gallery, but it remained a must visit while in Saint-Tropez.

Very manageable collection with families. Be aware that strollers are not allowed inside and you cannot take pictures of all the paintings.

Lovely little museum with its own cat. It used to be a chapel, now houses great pointillist art by the local Signac as well as a couple of nice sculptures as well as some Matisse, Braque and Picasso.

It's CLOSED from January 10th thru February 15th. This small detail is mentioned only at the bottom of their home page. We showed dutifully on a Tuesday (Jan 17th) knowing that they are closed on Mondays to our great disappointment. They should make their seasonal closing dates more prominent on their homepage. Also Google does NOT have the seasonal closing dates and would lead to think that they are open. BTW many businesses and restaurants were closed. The classic chicken and the egg problem!

The sumptuous Chateau de la Messardière overlooks the Bay of Pampelonne and is a 19th-century family home which later became a luxury hotel. It boasts 5 stars, elegant panelling and luxurious interiors, with beautiful sea views. The hotel offers an extensive spa with 1,000 square metres, several restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine and stunning views of the bay.
The Most Amazing Place Ever. My family and I have loved this place for 30+ years as it’s morphed to one of the best places on the planet. It’s stunning and luxurious in all aspects. The food and breakfast buffet make you get up. Cannot miss. Please don’t. The pool service and different drinks are fun and fabulous. They have their own beach club Jardin Tropezina with cool beach and a fun service. Zetta the hotels pizza restaurant in town is a Must go to. They have mini pizzas so you can try a few types without having too much. I’m a pizza nut/ aficionado. The concierge Joel Rocha has been here 26 years and gets you set up with whatever you want with his incredible connections . I love how well this places has grown. It’s a magical place that we come to every year that makes us sooo happy and relaxed. It’s truly a special place to be. You have to try it!!!

It was such disappointment that my whole experience was extinguished by an unfortunate incident happened during my stay. My Rolex was “vanished” from my guestroom while I was the only guest staying there. It was kind of incident that you wouldn’t expect from this hotel. Also, the worst part was the hotel management’s disregarding attitude, that they did not even bother to make comprehensive investigation with it’s staff but tried to cover up this situation and wave me off with an email they trust their staff even though they had the proof on their security cameras of the last time I was wearing my watch. I believe in they their ‘magical’ world, material things can suddenly disappear… I strongly advice you to lock everything to your safe.

Thad place is beautiful and the food wonderful. Magnificent views. But the restaurant was Matsuhisa and the music was disco music very loud. We complained several times and we spoke with the DJ and the manager. The clients we were all over 50. It really the amazing experience was destroyed by the disco music...sorry about that.

There is nothing I can say with words to describe the incredible experience of staying at Château de la Messardière. The grounds, rooms, staff, amenities, and food just add up to be the most incredible unforgettable experience of your life. When you meet with some of the other guests, most of them are returning travelers that have already stayed and are coming back again due to the incredible experience. With everything that the hotel offers, it’s actually an amazing deal as well so I would highly recommend that even if you’re not planning to visit St Tropez, alter your plans just to experience this magnificent property and the beyond amazing staff that make this experience a once in a lifetime visit. Five stars does not do justice. Thank you for making our visit an unforgettable experience.

Is this hotel could be rated 6 stars, I would rate is that. This hotel, the service, location and treatment by the entire staff was among the best I've even had in my entire life and I've traveled to many five star hotels. First, I was traveling to my husband for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we learned we were upgraded to a junior ocean-view suite, had complimentary lunch awaiting us and were gifted merch from their store as well as a vintage bottle of Moet with treats upon checking into our room. Just divine!!! Every day at breakfast, the staff would warmly greet us, when we ordered cocktails one night on the patio the bartender insisted on comping us, the grounds of the property are just breathtaking. I took a tennis lesson one day and had a blast. The pools are exquisite. The views are jaw drawing. The beach club as well was the best beach club we've ever been to with the service on another level as well. We cannot wait to return to the hotel it was the best experience of our life.

I cannot say enough. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The staff is amazing. The service is spectacular. This is a six star hotel in my book and compares with some of the most amazing hotels in the world. I have stayed at Hundreds of Five star hotels and this one is in the top five.
George Dipp — Google review
The whole experience was a huge disappointment. I did not feel welcomed from the begging. The atmosphere at the hotel is very stiff and unpleasant. When I went to room, I noticed the bad smell, very old-fashioned design and a tiny window in the corner (about 50 cm x 40 cm). Standard room was very dark and small. It had a terrace next to the garden where was organized a wedding ceremony. When I informed about it, receptionist offered me a special price 800€ for a “better room” with a sea view. The whole budget for two nights was 3 000€. Unfortunately new room was very basic as well, the bathroom was disgusting, shower was full of mold. When they were moving my stuff to the other room, some of my clothes were left in previous one. I did not sleep well, because air conditioner was blowing straight to my face. After a stay in this ridiculous place I feel sick and exhausted, although very happy to go back home. I regret planning a stay in this hotel, it was a waste of my time. + spa and garden was nice 😊 There are so many nicer places to be in St Tropez. Boutique hotels which are unique and have a kind personnel. One of it is for example La Ponche.

We stayed at the hotel in May which was a perfect time of year. Weather was beautiful and honestly the hotel was the loveliest boutique hotel we have stayed in. The staff went up and beyond for their guests and made our stay perfect - we did not want to leave. Food was excellent, especially the morning breakfast. We had a 2 bedroom suite, great amount of space. I can’t say enough - We will be back!

We’ve had an absolutely fabulous vacation at Airelles Saint-Tropez. I can’t recommend the resort enough, everything has been perfect and amazing. The vacation has been 10/10. Rooms: Extremely comfortable and large. Excellent products and services, as well as goodies (pjs, hats, personalised stationary kits, robes et cetera). The attention to detail has been superb. The beds were extremely comfortable and our room had a quaint garden with views of the town and ocean. The fresh flowers, well stocked bars and mini fridges - as well as the excellent house keeping team made the experience so easy and enjoyable. Service: The hotel’s staff have been incredible, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming, as well as helpful. A special shout-out to the wonderful Ndeye in the restaurant, who was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Louis at the bar organised a cocktail class for us, which was such fun and he was extremely funny and easygoing, as well as professional. Ahmet was our driver several times and he was excellent. Finally, Anouk and Manon were wonderful at the spa and made the experience really memorable and special. Thank you Manon for tailoring my treatments to suit my needs. Location: The location is superb, with panoramic views overlooking the town and sea. The chateau is impressive, grand and absolutely beautiful, set in the most remarkable location, surrounded by vineyards, wonderful greenery, and the cicadas song! Facilities: The hotel has everything - good food, beautiful vistas, great facilities (pools, tennis courts, gym, spa, et cetera), and a good shuttle service with a fleet of vehicles ready to take you quickly into the city centre! Anything can be easily arranged, and the hotel’s beach club is also really great!

Everything was fresh and tasty! I had my best Pizza in Saint Tropez in the hotel 🍕

Amazing hotel towering above the city of St Tropez, with panoramic views of the Gulf. I spend a half day with a friend staying at the hotel, as well has had drinks at the terrace, and a dinner at the garden. The hotel itself is extensive located at Chateau de Messardière, with beautiful manicured and gardened as well as endless grounds. My friend's suite was amazing: spacious, well appointed, comfortable with lots of closets and cabinets and beautiful terrace. We had a celebratory dinner at Chef's Table, served at their garden. Amazing food and wine: slow-roasted lamb shoulder and whole grilled seabass for mains. Staff were fantastic. Thank you Amelie and her team. We would love to stay at Aireless during a future stay.

The bakery-restaurant La Tarte Tropézienne, located in town of Saint Tropez on the French Mediterranean Coast, is world-famous for its Brioche with a cream filling. The dessert was named after actress Brigitte Bardot who fell in love with it while filming on the beach there in 1955.
Fantastic tarte Tropezienne! Freshly made, feels fresh and light but don’t be fooled as light it is not. It was absolutely delicious!

The tarte is a bit overrated, personally didn’t find it enjoyable. The pizza slice & canele was good though.

This is one of our favourite breakfast spots. I don’t really understand how people can get upset about the price difference of items ordered at the counter to take away vs in restaurant consumption. Staff is always friendly, even when it gets super busy on market days. I wish the same could be said about fellow visitors.
Deborah Klara Kauffmann — Google review
I liked the tart's cream, but the dessert wasn't exceptional. Don't set your expectations too high. I suggest you give it a try. The tart was 4.5 euros, and the café americana was 2.2 euros.

Terrible service. Don’t accept to go and sit upstairs, because they just don’t care about you! First, we waited 20min for the waiter to come. Finally when we got our order, the famous pie was missing… guess what?? It never arrived! I had to go downstairs after 30min to get the pie by myself. It is ridiculous. They really don’t care about tourists, they were serving all tables around us and just ignoring our demands. When I paid the bill, I asked them to remove the service fee… they said that it was not possible. Another disappointment and disrespect. Please don’t go to this place! You will loose time and feel annoyed. Really do not recommend. Customer satisfaction is just not important for them.

At 7.30 am during an August market day it could happen that a little table up in the mini-terrace is available. The brand of this 'café patisserie' has been trendy since years. Quality, and location (in the art of the... village) being among the main appeals. Chairs on the always-rush hour street, or - more relaxing upstairs air conditioned tea room in the little terrace. Essential order, seated: three 'cappuccino', three 'croissant au beurre', and one 'divers' € 24.50. Good quality. Fast service (the early hour helped it out maybe). And the price all considered not that high related to some of the most appreciated Italian ones: I would say being from the land that invented the cappuccino that these were also somehow outstanding.

La Tarte Tropézienne is a very pleasant pâtisserie in the charming village of St Tropez. There are wonderful pastries and a great selection of breads including the ubiquitous la Tarte Tropézienne, a custard filled sugary cake to die for. The pâtisserie is very charming facing a lovely square where French food markets and jeux de boules take place. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!!!

i must say the eclair and other types of pastry are amazing!! the price is high but it is worth it. However I do not recommend having lunch there, i ordered steamed vegetables and the porcion was so tiny I actually thought it was a joke. It is overpriced. But I repeat, the bakery is totally worth paying.

We visited here based on a local recommendation to try the Tropezienne. But we were taken aback by the absolutely rude customer service. We were served with cold attitude and just decided to duck off after picking only one of the pastry. Tourist trap and wouldn’t recommend it nor would I return back

On my quest to discover the finest tarte tropesienne in St Tropez, I must confess that I was sorely disappointed by the lackluster offering at La Tarte Tropesienne bakery. It was an utter letdown with a bun that could only be likened to a subpar burger bun, lacking any of the desired fluffiness or lightness. The cream, while not terrible, failed to live up to the grandiose expectations set by the bakery's name. The long queue that awaited us was an absolute waste of time and effort, leaving me wondering why so many people were willing to endure such a mediocre experience. My advice to my friends and fellow tarte tropesienne enthusiasts: there are far superior choices out there that are worth exploring instead.

French National day and visiting Club 55 was treat of the day. What an outstanding location and five star setup for beach activities, restaurant and excellent bars. This is best location in south of France near Saint Tropez and I think this place has the best of world visiting this club from U.S/U.K/ Germany etc. Best hidden gem of the riviera. Reservation is a must or else you don’t get a space even in parking lot. Very well managed and excellent food and beach spots. This is kind of place which confirms why European standards of beach life are way ahead of Middle East and Asia. No wonder best of world is here this time of the year.

We visited the Club out of the season, so I cannot judge the ambience in summer. In October it was pretty chilled. Drinks are fine, service ok but we cannot say that the food was great. I believe the photo says it all: no effort - comes from the supermarket direktly to the plate, not eatable and costs 44€. Another entré was 2 rasped carrots with a dressing aside. Costs: 28€. The Paella I had was ok. So overall: good location but don't expect high quality food. Better choose another restaurant.

It’s a great place to have lunch. Nice food. Difficult location, no Ubers etc a car to go back is 50€ at least. Now what’s missing is music … they have this band that goes around but you need atmosphere. Also it’s too hot so maybe consider fans.
M K — Google review
We got so lucky to get a table without a reservation. The food was impeccable..we got the mussels, chicken, beef tartare and sangria. The portions were large and plentiful. We loved our experience and went to the beach after. Definitely worth the hype in Saint Tropez
Revian Chang — Google review
Very negative experience at Club 55. Sun-beds are stacked like a can of Sardines and it’s very difficult to have personal space. The Euro 50 sun beds come without towels to force you to buy ones at astronomical prices at their store. The greedy beach boy had to take a special tip to give us a good location and wasn’t even friendly afterwards. To make matters worse - the showers do not work due to environmental constraints so basically you will have to live with seawater or come up with creative solutions to clean up if you ever decide to take a dip. Now for the food - the Sea-bass we ordered was tasteless and mediocre at best. The waitress said it will come with sautéed vegetables and we ended up with fried potatoes and the waitress couldn’t be bothered! There is no valid reason to go to that place - total rip off and disrespect to customers. Avoid.

We're lucky enough to have been coming here years and while it has got a bit more cosy it still has huge amounts of style and its special. We were here with friends today for lunch and it was excellent. The food was really good (though you don't come here just for the food) the band, atmosphere and staff were great. If you've never been before, come with your eyes and opinions open. It is jam packed but that's half the fun. I can't wait to come back. Oh and it's eye wateringly expensive if you get carried away, but as I say, that's the fun of the place!

The food was very good, perhaps the best fish I ever had. I think it could have used some music, not even necessarily to be loud but just to add some atmosphere. They’re clearly doing well though, the place was packed.

Restaurant
Senequier is a traditional French restaurant that serves champagne and cocktails until 1am. The terrace overlooks the port and attracts many rich and famous people.
We love going to Senequier but during the summer it's very difficult to find a table or get a booking so going in the Winter is perfect for us, no problem at all getting a table and the weather is pretty mild for December. The service was great and very helpful, our food was good. Can be expensive here so be prepared. They do have outdoor heaters so it's lovely to sit out front with a coffee or glass of wine even in December.

I guess I am used to eating at a place were if you bring a dog, you don't have to hear them barking. I had dinner somewhere else and NO dogs. Nothing against them, we have 2 back home. But if I am paying 200 euros for a steak and mash potatoes and a ravioli, yes with truffles but NO fresh parmesano it's crazy. Other than that, the location and ambiance is amazing.

Great and very busy place, refreshing drinks and good food, prices a bit steep but for the location and view of the port it worth the visit if you are there. Of course you got to walk there, parking impossible anywhere near.

This spot is pretty sensational. The food was exquisite. Overall an enchanting experience. Very expensive. 10€ for an espresso and 13.50€ for a bottle of still water. Otherwise. Well done. You are paying for the location.

The restaurant is a bit on the fancier side and definitely expensive, but worth a try. Great location right on the port. The food and service were great.

Senequier has been a longtime place to be seen like celebrities! We were shopping in St Tropez and was told that we must stop for the very least a drink. We did stop by after shopping and had: 1.) Chicken Cesar Salad the grilled chicken was moist and flavorful and cesar dressing was on point. 2.) Mozzarella and tomatoes. The cheese was so soft and fluffy and the tomatoes were fresh and sweet. 3.) Focaccia Bread so fresh and fluffy. Our servers were attentive and friendly. The view of the Harbor and the very beautiful and large yachts was a great background! I would say if you are ever in St. Tropez stop by.

Great classic restaurant to enjoy fresh seafood and local wines. The lobster pasta was the best I ever had! Scargot and sea bass tartar were also excellent! Service was perfect

I had a wonderful time here this evening. The beef tartare and the chocolate mousse were amazing. Our waiter, I think his name was Sasha, was fantastic and prepared the beef tartare brilliantly. Superb red wine too. Much enjoyed.

Walked in excited to try their food, however, left feeling underserved and emotionally triggered by the waiters. One star for terrible discriminatory service by the waiters. 1. We ordered rosé, wine and asked for some water. However, none of these things were served even when we were more than half way done our meal. At one point we stopped eating just waited for our drinks to be served. We finally got some water and drinks when we asked the manager. 2. While I noticed other customers being served main dishes with the sides, my side of fries never came with the octopus that I ordered. Again had to ask the manager because our waiter wasn’t being attentive to us. 3. My friend tried to get another waiter to get our waiter for us. However the other waiter completely ignored her and walked off when she made eye contact and caught his attention. The waiter later said that he doesn’t serve our side of the restaurant and that he didn’t see or hear us. 4. We noticed every single table at the restaurant, even empty ones were lit with candles. However, the candles on our table were never lit. Overall, waiters’ poor services left a very distasteful impression of the restaurant.

Just perfect at the perfect spot! Excellent service. Tasty food. The water misters are great at hot days. A good place to celebrate „la vie en france“ 🥰

The service was impeccable. The server was friendly and very pleasant. Unlike many restaurants in Saint Tropez, we were not rushed and were allowed to take our time. The vibes at this restaurant are great. The shaded outdoor seating with white table cloths is very chique. The food was also fantastic. Everything we ordered was fresh and clearly of high quality. Although Senequier is very expensive, for the quality it’s decently priced compared to other restaurants on the port of Saint Tropez. W impressed with the service. The restaurant was crowded however the server was very attentive and pleasant.

Delicious food, super position for boat lovers (but not super quite), service experience can be improved. Was at the restaurant on Sunday for lunch. A late lunch allowed finding place with no booking. We (were 2) started with an aperol and a Saint-Tropez spritz (raspberry based), which we tasted with bread home baked by the bakery connected to the restaurant. We then went on with snails, served with their butter and Persil sauce): delicious, including a second bread type served together. Then we moved to crispy grilled octopus, served on a home made pesto and a purée. Spectacular. The Food we tasted was superb and recommend to try. Unfortunately we experienced a bit of uncomfortable at the table. We got a privileged place on the front lane (facing the yachts), but the places were that packed that the waiter gad to ask me a couple of times to move and let him pass to serve the next table. Less seats or smaller chairs would help improving the comfort. All in all by the way, the quality of food is what I will remember. Side note: the place is very iconic on many details: the photos of the celebrities who were ist the restaurant, the red chairs created some un-comfort, but were comfortable when seat, and finally the bakery connected to the restaurant is selling own products and even own merchandise. All pretty peculiar then…

Super popular place, great service and lovely food. We highly recommend the Ravioli with Truffles or the Octopus dish with fries. Excellent.
Darren Dzirasa-Payne — Google review
The food was below average, without a distinct taste, even the fries were spoiled. The service was unorganized, chaotic, they brought me another table's bill, which was 3 times more than ours. For less than €200, we had a very average meal. The food selection is extremely poor and I think this is the biggest tourist trap that St.Tropez has. By the way, at lunch you can be seated among 20 people smoking. A very strange place. Definitely don't go there and pay a lot for bad service and bad food. Later that day I got food sick and had stomach ache. I won’t ever, even walk by that place again.

Fantastic experience, a perfect place for great wine, enjoyed the escargots. The Foie de veau français tranché épais is very good. It is better to sit outside as you can view a beautiful sunset after walking around the harbour. The place is bustling with people for those who enjoy people watching too. It's perfect for couples and friends. Service was good too. Will return on my next visit to Saint-Tropez!

Le Traiteur de l'Auberge des Maures is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, offering fresh and delicious dishes with impeccable service. The restaurant accepts restaurant vouchers, which is rare in Saint-Tropez, and provides a wide choice of options for dining on site or takeaway. The veal shanks are particularly recommended, and the service is top-notch.

If you're looking for a relaxing, yet incredibly delicious french restaurant in Saint Tropez, look no further than Les Grainers. With fresh seafood dishes and steak options, the restaurant is perfect for any occasion. The location on the sand overlooking the bay is simply breathtaking.
I had an unforgettable dinner experience at Restaurant Les Graniers. Despite the prices being a bit steep, the overall experience was excellent. The setting on the beautiful secluded beach was mesmerizing, and the menu offered a tempting selection. The service was incredibly attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. Although some dishes, like the 42 euro truffle pizza, may seem extravagant, the overall ambiance and culinary delights made it worth it. I'm already looking forward to coming back for another memorable meal!

Wasn't the first time here. We haven't come back in the last few years because we didn't like several aspects. So we decided to come back in August 2022. Firstly, it took quite a long time for the man to pick us up at our boat. When we arrived at the beach, our table was not ready, they referred us to the bar, which unfortunately was already full. The toilet was not working and there is only one, a no-go! The rosé was good, but unfortunately someone had already put out his cigarette in the ice bucket before us, where we had all been drinking from ice. The waiter thankfully replaced our glasses and brought us a new bottle. The prices are still extremely expensive and the portions small. I think we've been good here for a few years now and won't be coming back any time soon.

What a lovely place. The ambiance is amazing, with the back drop of perfectly blue sky and the ocean, a great place for lunch. We got octopus and ceviche and a side of tomatoes, plus sole deserts. Food was good, service implacable. Would recommend though it’s on the pricey side and HIGHLY recommend making a reservation

When you ask the waiter if you can have a normal Margarita Pizza for the children but then have to pay the same amount for a pizza with truffles for 42€!!!! The waiter said: " ...well I can't charge you for a normal pizza if you don't want the truffle. " Thank you, once and never again!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The location and ambiance are simply amazing, especially once the sun starts to set in the evening. It feels very cozy yet sophisticated and manage to balance that very well. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food and it was well-prepared and of good quality. We also enjoyed some great cocktails after dinner.

Mediterranean restaurant
The French restaurant Villa Azur Saint-Tropez has quickly become a local favourite for its creative menu and attentive service. The dishes are based on Mediterranean cuisine with locally sourced ingredients, and guests have given it high praise for its delicious food.
Came here on our last night in St Tropez for a celebration and it was a great decision! Goat cheese salad with rocket and honey was tasty. Gambas (shrimps) with pastis hit the spot and the beef fillet with foie gras and truffle was perfectly cooked to my temperature and decadent. Special shout-out to Antoine for the great service and entertaining our attempts at conversation with limited french.

Food was fine and having the waiter corner us to leave a tip while this is not expected in Europe, left us disappointed just like the last reviewer mentioned below. It ruined the night. We were there after the manager’s response below to the same complaint, so it’s clear the behaviour is encouraged by them. Never again!

Had three course dinner on Saturday evening. Although food and wine was good, the service left a bitter aftertaste. On payment of the bill we were asked very directly by the male waiter if we wanted to leave an additional tip. As we then stated that it is service compris this left an awkward silence. It is up to the discretion of the customer to decide if they want to leave an additional tip. In this case the service did not warrant an extra tip. As a customer you should not be put in this situation, we are after all not in America. Restaurants should not allow this behaviour and leaves me with a feeling we were only asked because we are not French.

This restaurant has less 2/3 less clients compared to last year... I may hope that they start to understand that price, quality and service is a mix... the spot they have for that is perfect.. In my summer 2023 St Tropez ranking, they move from 9th to 10th place..

Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. The food: honestly? Chefs table? I am a foody and found masses of oil ( fat beings taste) in my spinach leaves which were accompanying my tagliatelle from salmon (no pasta, stripes of salmon, parts of it of optical not so nice quality) three sauces came with it, again lots of oil and one cheese dip. Mmh strange combination. Main dish: grilled octopus. I imagined a nice peace coming from the grill, nicely done. Instead have been served small and smallest pieces, fried in a pan with tons of oil and some garlic. No delicacy and no art to cook. And hard to digest with these masses of oil. Prices: Glas of beer 11, wine 14….if the food would be outstanding - acceptable, but not with that food… table beside me looked as well a bit surprised from their orders in same way I was disappointed. All in all: disappointing. Marketing trap.
