Rude staff that takes offence if you prefer not to have a dessert. Unprofessional attitude by waiters except for the young lady. Food not worth the price, supermarket would do a better job.

Beautiful chalet setting, with friendly and welcoming service, great company and beautifully presented, incredibly creative dishes and extensive wine menu. Really enjoyed our dining experience here and look forward to revisiting during our next Samoëns summer vacances!

We were somewhat disappointed, three small balls of foie gras were covered by cocos and something spicy which completely took away the taste of the foie gras (portion of foie gras was also very small for the price). The main dishes (Octopus and pork cheeks) were both OK but too dry.

I ordered a main course of veal shank and the meat was so over-cooked that I left two thirds of the meat on my plate. I showed the waitress how dry it was when the plates were being collected and she told me that she would inform the chef. I naively believed that would result in the bill being adjusted, however, when I received the bill it was for the full amount. I would expect any decent restaurant which values its reputation (and which can tell whether meat is dry or tender) to voluntarily offer a discount. I ended up speaking to the maitre d' and offered to pay for half the dish (I thought this was generous) however, she only offered me an €8 discount off a €28 dish. She insisted that she had tried the dish in question before and that it was delicious and she wouldn't listen to my arguments that perhaps my version of the dish was over-cooked but hers wasn't. There was no apology from any member of staff and the, in my view, unsatisfactory discount I had to fight for was given reluctantly after a heated exchange. Not the standards I would expect from a fine-dining restaurant. I am sure many people will have a good meal here where all dishes are cooked well, however, if the measure of a restaurant is how they treat their customers when they fall below standards then La Table de Fifine falls well short and, in my view, should be avoided.

Brilliant place to head to for food after a day's skiing

We took the special fondue with champagne and mushrooms and it is by far the best fondue in Samoëns, if not everywhere. They offered nicely cooked and seasoned potatoes for a glutenfree guest, which is more than many others would do. Our table of 6 had wildly different dishes but they all arrived perfectly cooked at the same time. The staff is friendly, efficient and engages in a bit of banter. The homemade iceream couldn’t be more perfect and the restaurant in itself can be only described as dreamy. Would give more stars if possible !

A fantastic restaurant. The “centrepiece” dish is undoubtedly the steak served on hot volcanic stone, but the starters (example pictured) and the dessert were where the real art was displayed. A great choice of wines to go with the food.

We had a really lovely evening at the Table de Fifine. The decor was amazing with beautiful old beams, large spacious wooden tables or cosy eating areas giving privacy if one wanted. The kitchen is open onto the eating area and you can watch the chefs cook the dishes. The staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great little restaurant. Great food and even better service. The owner is very accommodating and personable and certainly adds to the enjoyment of the evening. I’d definitely come again

Good food, good selection of local dishes, good service.

We were in Samoens for five nights and ate here twice. To be honest we would have eaten here more often but they get very busy. The owner and staff are super accommodating friendly. They managed to squeeze us in as a walk in on our first visit and made us feel very welcome. The prawn starter is amazing and the duck dish is just stunning. A must place to eat.

Fabulous restaurant, went for our anniversary meal. Fondue and pizza 🍕 excellent. Service extremely good, they filled up our water carafe three times without us asking. Crème brûlée and ice cream desserts were perfect 👌. Very attentive staff and made us all welcome. Going to again with family next week! 😀 Best to book to avoid disappointment.

Top notch regional food, especially the fondue with blue cheese, imaginatively presented. Good local wine list as well, and a busy, fun atmosphere.

Unreal experience. Probably one of the best fondues I’ve ever had! But the hot stone, raclette and others look fantastic. Top of their game most definitely!

We had the loveliest evening in this restaurant tucked away on a quiet street. There was a wide choice of food to suit everyone (even the lactose intolerant person in this cheese loving region). Friendly service and a menu humourlessly translated for English. Very reasonably priced too. Fantastique!

We truly enjoyed this wonderful cosy wooden styled restaurant. Staff is attentive and food delicious. We saw many mouth watering other dishes passing our table!

I ordered a double oversize 2.0, just look at the picture! Look at it! That is the review in itself! The burgers are delicious, fresh, and bountiful. My friend ordered a plain hotdog so ignore that in the photo. The chips and chilli cheese bites were pleasant but the burger is enough. My friend also kept it simple with a cheese burger which he enjoyed. Mine was quite messy, so I had to do the unthinkable and eat it with a knife and fork, which made me feel less of a man. So maybe order the oversize as a single patty. The atmosphere is cool and trendy, and you'll get your face full of grill smoke as you go to sit upstairs (pleasantly).

Love this place... They do the best burgers ever!! Don't be caught out by the small front ... There are full sized tables upstairs with lots of space. There is a great selection of burgers and a decent choice of beers to wash it down with.

Enjoyed the variety of burgers and food was good. I had the Perce-Neige vegetarian burger. It was really spicy and I would have liked a firmer patty but it was delicious. Good beer and fries also.

Seems like they focus on speed rather than quality. Burger was cold, suggesting it wasn’t cooked fresh for my order… same for fries, not hot or crunchy. Had been sitting around a while. The flavour of both our burgers was bland, requiring our own extra mayo/ketchup sauce. But everything was brought out really fast, so I guess that’s a positive?

Great find! Dutch owner but also fluent in French and English. It’s quite small and has a kind of takeaway vibe (during winter, maybe there are outside seats in summer) with people waiting to pick up their order, but we didn’t mind. Excellent burgers, three tasty vegetarian options, very reasonable prices. We paid around €30 for two burgers and two ‘hot wines’. Free cold tap water. We’ll come again this week! Oh yes, there’s a room on the first floor with 40 seats, so don’t be alarmed when the ground floor appears full.

We really enjoyed this burger bar. It had quick service, a cool and relaxed vibe, great music, and reasonable prices. We kept coming back for several days. The only minor critique would be that the buns could be a bit better.

Fabulous burgers, fast friendly service and a great atmosphere all round. Great range of beers too. The simple burgers are huge, you've got to be a big hitter to manage a double or triple burger! Prices are very reasonable. We just wish we had a place as good as this near home.

Loved the place in 2022, still love the place in 2023. Had simple yet delicious New Year's dinner with family. Service is always friendly and super fast food without sacrificing the taste or freshness. Will comeback for sure again

Relaxed restaurant. Has a biker-vibe. Friendly staff and good food. Treat yourself to the Croziflette d'Jack. A variation on the traditional tartiflette. Delicious!

Good steak, our friends had volaille and a burger. My steak was ordered "bleu", rare, and was so delivered, perfect. Very good quality meat. Service was a little bit messy but friendly. Mistakes were made but swiftly corrected, and after paying we got a Genepy extra as compensation. The wine we ordered was not available but the waiter proposed two other choices, quite good.

A great place for steak and chips, but this time my wife had the French onion soup, which was also delicious. The man who owns and runs this restaurant is professional and friendly. His home made liqueur always rounds off the evening nicely.

A small but cosy popular restaurant serving traditional local food at reasonable prices (even the wine which is unusual for Samoens). Great service so book early to avoid disappointment.

We (2 persons) were placed right next to the kitchen downstairs with all the noises coming out of it that you would expect and we also had a view inside it. At the same time, a large group of people were singing very loudly and making a lot of noise while we were trying to enjoy an okay fondue. Don’t think we will come back
