The beach pavillion Portrush East Strand is a beautiful gem located on the North Coast. It boasts a stunning and expansive stretch of sand that leads to White Rocks Beach. The facilities are excellent, including a large car park that recently became chargeable, as well as coffee shops and restaurants nearby. This beach is particularly popular among surfers and paddle boarders who can hire wetsuits and boards on-site.
It is a truly beautiful stunning and very clean beach and very flat for walking. Ideal for everyone to take a stroll. There are parking charges in force including disabled bays with a snack bar now on site on the carpark for drinks, ice creams etc.

What a lovely sight to see on our first day to Portrush . A splendid sunset walk it is too before dinner . So nice to watch the all day surfing .. from a high point in the town . The wind whirling out to see each wave then always winning the fight against the wind . And Memories of body boarding as a kid comeflooding back .

One of Portrush jewels the beach is open all year round accessible on foot only with pay per stay parking in immediate vicinity or free on street parking nearby. Summer or winter it's a great location to get fresh air and reset

Wonderful place. You have to book very early to get a place to stay. For food, there are many fast food options, but for restaurants, you need to book one day before. May options for entertainment and fun. Between sandy beach, funfairs, speed boots, sea trips, food , golf. Portrush, Portstewart, and Coleraine. In Coleraine (20) minutes, there's Nandus . Near it a nice bowling, minigolf and gaming centre.

Love this beach, great 4 a long walk or just sitting listening 2 the waves. Toilets nearby, ice cream van in the car park & not far from the main shops & arcades. Loads going on, on the beach 2day. Volleyball, horses, walkers, surfers, bathers.

A dog friendly beach is not something you find many of in mainland England. We brought our foof for a walk as she hadn't been on a proper walk for a little while and she bounced about like a puppy, burying her nose in the sand and chasing the sea back where it belonged. It was a lovely hour or so spent on the beach in something you don't see that often in northern island the sun, ok it wasn't hot but it made it a great time

The East Strand has developed into a well-resourced entertainment beach, with a fun family atmosphere and tourist activities on hand. It was brilliant to see it being used as a community venue tonight, with the #wedeservebetter rally taking place on the steps. Here’s hoping for progress!

During our visit to the Portrush Coastal Zone, my family and I had a wonderful time exploring the marine educational area and learning about the fascinating world beneath the waves. Overall, our experience was highly enjoyable, and we left with a newfound appreciation for marine life. While there were a few areas for improvement, we still found the Coastal Zone to be an enriching experience. The aquariums showcased a decent variety of fish and crustaceans, allowing us to observe and admire the beauty of these underwater creatures. However, we couldn't help but wish for a greater diversity of species. It would have been even more captivating to see a wider range of fish and crustaceans represented, enhancing the overall educational value and creating a more immersive experience. Additionally, while the aquariums were visually appealing, we felt that more biological information about the fish and crustaceans could have been provided. Understanding the unique characteristics, habitats, and behaviors of the marine life on display would have deepened our understanding and appreciation of each species. Including informative plaques or interactive displays near the aquariums could greatly enhance the educational aspect of the Coastal Zone. Despite these suggestions for improvement, the Portrush Coastal Zone still offered a valuable and educational experience. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to answer our questions and share interesting facts about the marine life. We were particularly impressed by the interactive touch tanks, which allowed us to get up close and personal with some of the marine creatures. It was a joy to feel the rough texture of a sea star and witness the gentle movements of a hermit crab. Furthermore, the Coastal Zone's dedication to promoting marine conservation and environmental awareness was commendable. The exhibits and displays highlighted the importance of protecting our oceans and the delicate balance of marine ecosystems. We left with a renewed commitment to being responsible stewards of the environment. In conclusion, the Portrush Coastal Zone is a worthwhile marine educational area that provides an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. While we felt that the aquariums could have showcased a greater variety of fish and crustaceans, as well as offered more in-depth biological information, the overall educational value and dedication to marine conservation were evident. With some expansion and enhancement, the Coastal Zone has the potential to become an even more captivating and informative destination.

Educational , great experience for all especially for children all ages (a learning curve to all who visit (Portrush Coastal Zone ) All exhibits well displayed awareness of all sea inhabitants . The guide was extremely knowledgeable when children were asking questions about the various species about the environment in which they were maintained. No entry fee which surprised us or donation box inside to those who may wish to offer a donation to the Coastal Zone in providing so much info in this awesome coastal area 🐟

So disappointed in Portrush. Little or nothing to do for adults or children. No water world, closed over 2yrs, Barry's closed also, a few wee rides in place. Foggy most of the time so swimming impossible. Shops dreadful, full of 'cheap toy tat'. The worst experience was trying to get somewhere to eat each night. Most places 45m wait, no booking in advance, everything ordered and paid for via online from your phone if you were lucky enough to get a table. Shop assistants didn't seem interested in your business, as if you were bothering them. A very different place to the last time we were there. Would not recommend it. Trip to Port Stewart better.

Restaurant
Ramore Restaurants in Portrush is a collection of vibrant waterfront bars and bistros, including Basalt, The Mermaid, Neptune & Prawn, Coast, The Wine Bar and the Harbour Bar and Bistro. Basalt offers casual dining with Spanish influences and a scenic outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor. Neptune & Prawn serves Asian-inspired cuisine right on Portrush Harbour. The restaurant has evolved from fine dining to a relaxed cosmopolitan menu over the years.
Seafood thermidor really rich and deep flavour. Very filling and realised didn't need fries as side. Ordering and paying from table service. Accepting covid passports or proof of vaccination. Came about 12.20 about 60 people by 1.00. Relaxed atmosphere with acoustic easy listening musician.

We arrived a few minutes before it opened yesterday and joined the queue. We were absolutely ravenous and were so lucky to get seated! It was just the Wine bar that was open Mondays. It appeared to be first come, first served and quickly filled up. We were seated with menus and had to place our order and pay at the bar. Within half an hour we had our food. Absolutely delicious, I was ecstatic! We didn't linger, although the desserts looked so tempting! There was a queue of people out the door waiting to get seated, so we got up to make room. They used the other restaurant areas for overflow they were so busy. Have to commend the staff for dealing with such pressure. Would have loved to stay longer, but understand it's hard to find staff in the current climate!
Jess Ousley — Google review
Great place for a quick bite or for a more substantial meal. Plenty of choice on the menu at competitive prices. The only downside is that the tables are grouped so close together that even the waiters struggle to get the food to your table.
Lynsey Johnston — Google review
I have had many great meals from the Ramore in the past but this time I used their takeaway service. It was supposed to be ready at 18:00 it was given to me 20 minutes late. I quickly checked the bag and there were no desserts, I went back in and got the desserts. This isn't too bad, they were busy. Then when I got home I found my fish and chips had no chips, I did get 2 tubs of peas though. I phoned the restaurant twice and the phone rang off both times. I couldn't be bothered driving back, the food would have been cold by then. What we did get was good but you shouldn't have to open up your takeaway order to make sure they remembered everything.
Colin Campbell — Google review
This came highly recommended, because they are considered one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. I must say, the fish pie I had was fantastic. The thermidor sauce it came with made it extra tasty. Generous seafood chunks in the pie too. They were let down by the poor service. I waited 30 min until I finally asked after noticing tables after me were getting their fish pie. 2 min later mine turned up. The bartender also poured my Guinness in one pour, not letting it settle before pouring the rest. Would've rated higher if service was up to par with the price being charged.
Carlito — Google review
Always a good stop off location, it can be a nightmare on public holidays to get a table, but if you are willing to wait, then no problems. The food is always nice, but the wine bar burger seems to be less meat and more other stuff, which is disappointing from what it used to be years ago. But food really nice. There ate a number of bars on various floor of the restaurant all with the same sort of vibe. Would definitely recommend

Decent food. Great atmosphere as usual. Prices are sometimes misleading as it says certain deals on days and you go in and its normal price. Apart from that we enjoy our daily food from here!

Dined at ramore wine bar, and to say my experience was shocking at the least I would give 0 stars if I could! Had a table booked for 7pm quickly got shown to our table (which was basically a dome outside) it was absolutely freezing, no waiter explained that we had to order food at the bar and bare in mind was absolutely chaotic, bar staff couldn’t hear what we wanted to order and charged us for a steak wellington that we politely had to send back and they returned with the steak they scraped off the wellington and threw on another plate which was clearly over cooked and dry! Asked for a new steak came back 20 minutes later when side orders were then freezing asked for steak to be medium and came out rare/blue? Ordered peppered chicken which came out bland with no flavour literally just ground pepper on it definitely won’t be back ever and the prices for the food quality is absolutely appalling, cheese fondue was stunning tho.

Even though we arrived just at last orders for lunch the staff were super helpful and didn't rush us. There are some lovely views over the marina and sea from the restaurant, again staff were super helpful in moving us once a table with a better view turned up. The food is really great, our meals and meal of others we saw being brought to tables all looked delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice place to eat after spending some time in Portrush.

Watch out, bit of a scam... went into the restaurant the Basalt Top floor... looked nice and was told pasta dishes were half price and cocktails were half price... Happy Days...the meat pasta dish was 28 pounds was only worth 14 at best.. cocktails 🍸 12.95.. don't think there was any Alcoholic in them.. Tried to charge us full price for Drinks... Twice had to call them back saying bill was wrong.. if u go in be careful.. 🧐

Went to the horsebox for a hot chocolate. It was very pretty and the servers were nice but unfortunately a few of us found the hot chocolate far too bitter and couldn't finish it which for £4.50 a drink is disappointing.

We went to Coast, Ramore restaurants on a Sunday afternoon. The food was very well priced and absolutely delicious. Seasoned perfectly, great options and piping hot. We had several waiters and each of them were wonderful. I'd like to thank one young guy Thomas, he recommended the mozzarella sticks and had great rapport with us at the table. The food arrived quickly, and the portion size was that large,I had to take some home. The only thing I would improve is the distance between chairs and tables with others. However, I understand this style is adopted as it's warm, friendly, and creates a togetherness environment, and this is a common feel for all ramore restaurants I've been.

Bank Holiday Monday and it was manic but staff were professionall and pleasant I had the haddock and it was excellent all though I am not a fan of mushy peas I prefer peas intact. I found it a very overcrowded. If table had not been booked it would have been a long wait. Staff were finding it difficult to get food delivered to tables.

The Tides Restaurant is a two-story dining spot that offers a relaxed atmosphere and stunning sea views of the West Strand and Portrush. It's recommended to visit during late lunch in winter to catch the beautiful sunset, while other seasons offer different sunset views. The restaurant is known for its fantastic international dishes and efficient, friendly staff who provide excellent value for money. Guests praise the menu variety, with personal favorites like the Roast Duck with Pak Choi.
My mum and I went to Tides on bank holiday weekend for lunch. Despite the holiday being busy, the service was very good. Thanks to Philip, our waiter, we had a few laughs and enjoyed seeing friendly staff. Both the food and view was beautiful. Couldn't be happier 😊

Went here for dinner with the kids. We just turned up and were seated quickly. Super impressed with the little kids menu pack which included crayons and colouring so major kudos there. The menu was decent but our server (quite young) was confused about the kids meal deal which we had to query several times to get to the bottom of. Kids food was good quality and decent portions and my son absolutely loved his Tuck Shop Sunday desert which was literally his dream desert! Adults wise I got the steak which I found underwhelming all it came with was a mountain of crispy onions. I did get a portion of chips also on the side and do note they unbelievably charge 40p for ketchup!!! My wife got the Thermidor which was nice but came with very little. My recommendation is get plenty of sides if you want to feel sated and probably say avoid the steak. Venue wise it is very nicely styled and the staff were friendly but I fear our very young waiter had a lot to learn yet.
Fionn McGinley — Google review
A fantastic location, looking out over the West Strand and Portrush. The food is good too. In winter it's best to come for a late lunch - perhaps 3pm or 3:30pm so you get to see the sun going down. Visit for dinner and you won't actually see the ocean, which is what you're there for - to some extent, at least! In other seasons the sun will set differently, of course, and dinner is probably a better time, but I'd still recommend planning around sunset if you can. And just to reiterate: the food is good too, but for the best food, visit their companion restaurant "Urban" in Portrush - the views from there are total rubbish, but the food is perhaps the best in the area, outside of Bushmills, which is where the really good restaurants are hiding.
andrew mcmillan — Google review
Very good food, excellent value- three courses for price of main course- for me £20. Decent portions and staff very attentive although busy night in the restaurant. Good atmosphere and lovely holiday location. Online table reservation easy to do- only booked 15mins in advance!

Starters were amazing and had high hopes for the mains but steak came well done (ordered medium) and monkfish came over cooked (felt like rubber). Good Service though as they took it back. Overall good atmosphere and maybe the food was not meeting our expectations after reading so many good reviews here because it was quite busy.

A favourite spot for food and enjoying a drink and the views on the balcony area at the back of the restaurant. A busy spot, with great food. Reasonably priced.
Caroline Brown — Google review
In a very beautiful place and close to the sea. We didn't like the food. We came because we were recommended 2 meals for one price and we found out that it doesn't exist. It's not the business' fault but we expected the prices we sent for £25 per dish to be received accordingly. It was not beef wellington in any case, the meat was overdone, the dough was dry and the mushrooms were not chopped and the way it was served was not close to what it should be. For a second course we ordered a steak which was dry and tough. Towards the end, they started folding the tables that we were still eating and gave the impression that they wanted us to leave. do not recommend
adam azaria — Google review
Tides was good. We were a group of 7 people, and everyone enjoyed dinner. Cocktails were tasty, and food was OK. I ordered beef Wellington, and it wasn't what I expected (more deconstructed), but my son found his fish tasty. The red jelly dessert was a highlight for him! The restaurant was noisy, but it's because they were full and we couldn't get parking outside, so we had to illegally park on the sidewalk. Our waitress was friendly and helpful.

Always our 1st and last meal of our visits from Scotland to the Causeway Coast...and in between if we can manage it. Staff are as you'd want..efficient, friendly and very hard working. The added bonus is the value for money. 3 courses for the price of your main course....suits us perfectly. Menu choice is amazing and my personal favourite is the Roast Duck with Pak Choi as shown in my photo.

Yum. Was my husband and i's birthday, stayed in Portrush for the night and visited The Tides for dinner. Excellent food, excellent service. 👌
Louise Hull — Google review
I have been coming to Tides frequently for past few years with family buy the last three times I have visited there (within last 3 months) the food has been very poor as he price has increased. I ordered my food at 17:18 and it arrived at 17:24. It was clear that the burger had been reheated and the garlic cubes were burnt. My wife had the duck which was full of fat and the noodles had been reheated also. What once used to be a family favourite, unfortunately has turned out to be far from a positive experience these past three visits. It would be great to go back to tides and enjoy the good food that once was on offer.
Jonny Doey — Google review
Arrived at our designated time, got seated promptly, and then we were left alone for nearly 20 minutes before I had to ask if somebody would take our order. We started to eat over an hour later. Poor service, staff are too young with no training. This is sad because I have loved Tides in the past, but unfortunately, things have fallen by the way side.

Had family home from England, booked a table on Wednesday evening 3rd April. Staff where very friendly but unfortunately the food was average. My brother in law got duck with noodles he said it was ok. My son's Gammon was fatty and tough, his mash potato was dried out, and my chicken Wellington was tasteless, sour cream fries had been reheated. Definitely wouldn't be in any rush back.

With the bold claim of having the best bar food in portrush, we were feeling optimistic. However, the food was rubbish. The chicken goujons were dripping in oil, the salt and chilli chips had enough salt to cause a heart attack (see picture) and the “salad” as stated on the menu consisted of a singular piece of limp lettuce. Do not waste your time.

Having spent the evening in Kiwi’s, I experienced the best service from the staff. The staff were up for the craic, very sociable and made a good pint of Maggies Leap. The decor of the venue provides a chill atmosphere. I’ve had the food before and it’s a solid 10/10. The music played provided a feel good atmosphere and the sport on the TV was great too. Central location and a great place to call for a tipple.

A solid 5 star! Their pizza was the best I’ve ever had, the flavor and the amount of cheese was spot on! The only thing I didn’t like was the drink, pretty expensive for a tiny glass of coke.

Was ok. Then a musical duo turned up. They were excellent. Gonna give it 5 stars just for that. Staff friendly too. We ended up takin a goofy pic. Check it out. Evidence of fun.

Was hungry and it was 8pm on an April evening and I was recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Staff really was excellent, friendly and chatty and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar too

Restaurant
Urban Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with varying discounts depending on the day of the week. The menu features dishes like rump steak, tobacco onions, pepper sauce, garlic cubed fried potato, and spicy beef bolognaise. Guests have praised the starters and main courses for their presentation and taste. The restaurant's comprehensive menu caters to different preferences. Visitors have appreciated the friendly staff and efficient service at this Portrush establishment.
Definitely one of the best dinner options in Portrush - there's no view, so they have to depend on serving good food! I've visited three times in the last month or so, and had excellent service from friendly staff with a good variety of beautifully presented and cooked food - both starters and mains. The menu is comprehensive, so there should be something for everyone.

Lovely restaurant with great food. There is a car park very close by. We shared the chicken wings starters. It was absolutely amazing! It comes with a blue cheese dip which I loved. I ordered the Angus burger which was cooked to perfection, my wife had the salt and chilli prawns which she enjoyed. My youngest son had the kids burger which was the same quality as my burger! I love it when restaurants treat the kids menu equally important. Overall, we all enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

The food was so good!! Found this place while driving through Northern Ireland. Good service, loved the interior and the food was EXCELLENT!!

The scallops for starter were nice but disappointed with both of the mains (chicken rigatoni and peking noodles which we felt had too much sauce & salt) whilst the Belgian chocolate cheesecake didn’t taste of chocolate and had an odd texture. Wine was decent and good value. Service was a bit on the slow side & had to ask a few times to get the bill.

Was really busy as we arrived around 6pm on a Saturday but was happy to be seated in just a few minutes! Food was great & so were the drinks. Will definitely be back

Ate here for the first time tonight and the food, service, value for money and ambience were all top notch. That good in fact, we've booked again for Sunday. Always used to only eat at the Ramore restaurants when in the Port, but their prices are now crazy. Urban for the win!

The service and wait time were fantastic and the overall vibe of the restaurant was nice too. The food itself didn’t stand out as super spectacular but that’s definitely just personal preference and taste. Perhaps choosing different dishes would have had a more enthusiastic response!

Edible food, served efficiently. Dishes are variable quality and not freshly prepared. Duck noodles nice, bao bun starter ok, garlic bread good, chips good, ribs meh - very little meat and just tasted sweet. Burgers edible - fairly cheap, poor quality meat, battered cod truly awful - see pics - 50% uncooked, stodgy "batter". The fish inside these little stodge-coffins was ok (nicely steamed as no chance any frying oil was penetrating the centimetre-thick walls of gunge) but small slivers of cod, not nice big fillets. £110 seems rather steep for 2 adults and 2 teenagers for average food. Cannot recommend.

A wonderful dining experience with a varied discount depending on which day of the week you book. Rump steak, tobacco onions, and pepper sauce with a side of garlic cubed fried potato for me and spicy beef bolognaise for the lady. Dessert was pavlova for her and lemon tart with raspberry sorbet for him. Throw in a couple of soft drinks and a bill of less than £50 was a very pleasant surprise. Please pay this place a visit. Food excellent Service, friendly and efficient Atmosphere, upbeat and inviting. A wonderful Wednesday evening had

Bad bits: To be honest, the food is overpriced & quality isn’t the greatest. We had steak, which wasn’t too bad, a bit dry round the edges. We asked for the garlic butter SAUCE, it came and it was literally just melted butter in a pot (paid £4 each for it) Husband ordered the sour cream and chilli chips, and honestly they were soggy and just had sauce from a bottle all over it. We didn’t even eat them. One of our plates had a big chip / crack in it! The waitress that served us was very stroppy / huffy, she wasn’t polite, had no manners, looked completely miserable. We understand she could have been having a bad day, but she was just TOO stroppy. We felt bad even placing our order with her like we were really annoying her by existing. Good bits: The asparagus with parmesan was the nicest part of the meal, perfectly cooked. Crispy onions were tasty. The place is nicely decorated, comfortable seats. Review: We were underwhelmed by the overall experience. Probably wouldn’t go back unless they sort the prices out.

Five starts all around. Wonderful starters and variety of food. We wanted to try traditional Irish food. They had the best tasting meals we have had in Northern Ireland. The service was top notch. Great desserts as well.

Very popular place so booking in advance is a must! Decent selection in the menu however only 3 mains suitable for vegetarians. I went for the tart which was lovely. Other options was cauliflower or broccoli 🙃Service was good. Prices reasonable. Tables a bit too close together for my liking. Update March 2024... This is a somewhat mixed review. Sunday lunch. I ordered the tart and garlic bread which were both superb. My plate was clean! 5 stars. My husband and MIL both ordered the roast beef dinner. Zero stars. Beef was stone cold and very stringy/fatty. Yorkshire pudding was more soggy than crispy. Rest of their food was barely warm. And the side of veg was pitiful. I can't fault the staff at all - they were very attentive and prompt. Thank you. Unfortunately we won't be back again.

Cheese fondue delicious and great price compared to Ramore restaurants who don't give enough bread and charge nearly double this price! Portion sizes run a bit big, the lamb rump I was served was actually three portions of rump, had no hope of finishing, chilli beef noodles were sweet but delicious again a very large portion.

An excellent dinner in a beautiful environment! Urban sits just off the main town square in Portrush and serves top quality food and excellent cocktails. The North Coast of Northern Ireland has a reputation for amazing food, and Urban holds its own very, very well.

Located in the heart of Portrush near Barrys Amusements, The Quays Bar & Gastropub is a must-visit spot offering a wide selection of chilled beers and wines at attractive prices. This friendly local bar specializes in pub grub, serving up delicious dishes such as beef and Guinness pie, steak, cod and chips, and various pasta options. Visitors rave about the mouthwatering buffalo wings to start and the perfectly cooked steak sandwich with peppercorn sauce.
We had early dinner 2 nights in a row (20th and 21st Dec 21) in the Quays. Nice place, clean, great gastro pub food. Around £85 for 3 main courses, 2 deserts (see pictures, sorry for the "deconsteucted" deserts which we shared 😋), 2 glasses of red wine and a beer. Very friendly service too.

We had high expectations. Quays was well recommended by all we spoke to. Fish looked lovely 😍 but unfortunately, the batter was a bit chewy. 😢 They were very polite and offered us an alternative.

We would highly recommend anything from the charcoal grill! (My partner and myself) The rump and sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection. Fast and friendly service and a warm and relaxing atmosphere

Nice pub and restaurant. They were quite busy so the food was a bit of a wait but enjoyed the music and drinks while waiting. All of our meals, the cod and chips, hake fish, Irish beef roast, and fried chicken were all excellent. Several gluten free options on the menu. The tater tots with truffle Mayo were a nice treat. Service was efficient.

First class service every single time! Always welcoming, friendly and fast service. My youngest loves the way she gets an ice cream in a cute wee bird! They go out of their way to be helpful! The chef is awesome at sauces, all the sauces are really tasty. The pink hun brambles are to die 4! My favourite restaurant 💕

We had been driving around the coast and were looking for somewhere for late lunch and this place came up recommended. It did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and had us seated straight away. The food was actually delicious! We had some buffalo wings to share, and they were great. My steak sandwich was cooked as I asked, medium-rare and it was delicious with the peppercorn sauce. The garlic fries were also so moreish! Honestly couldn’t have asked for more when we were so hungry. Highly recommend!!

Lovely bar with plenty of food choices. Something for everyone and great value too. I'd personally recommend the steak sandwich but everything I've seen looks great. Staff really friendly and attentive too. Well worth a visit.

Saturday night with my wife , great atmosphere for starters we had pil pil prawns and potatoes bread fries . Both were very tasty and highly recommended. For mains I had the 10oz rump steak which was perfectly cooked to my choice. The chips were a bit meagre which was a little disappointing. My wife had the Beef papardelle pasta which was absolutely gorgeous. All in all a great meal but because of the chips 9 outta 10. Would go back though

OMG.... I would give them 6 stars 🤩.., I we could. Dropped in for a late lunch after a day of hiking on the beautiful north coast. Service was very friendly and helpful. All of the food was excellent... usually there are at least one or two items that I need to critically critique. And our first true Irish Pub experience in Ireland will be hard to beat. 😁. .... Lunch prices were also reasonable. PS- the potato bread fries were amazing.

We had an odd experience here and left with the impression that the service doesn’t match the quality of the food. Upon arrival we were left standing at the “Wait to be seated” sign while we watched several staff behind the bar chatting with each other, casually moving glassware and seeming to be uninterested in new guests. We must have waited for at least four minutes while we watched several staff ignore us. Our ordering process was fine. I ordered a three course meal. The starter, bruschetta, was delicious. I’d order that again without question. The main course was lovely, a slow cooked beef with appropriate vegetables accompanying. When we finished our main, we waited 15 min for dessert to come. Then I got the attention of a wait staff, but not our server. I told her we were waiting on a dessert. She stopped for a moment and then said that the dessert I had ordered wasn’t available anymore. She apologized rather nonchalantly like it didn’t really matter. Then she wanted to know if we just wanted the bill. I chose another dessert and we had to wait again for service to resume. The food was good. The portions were generous. I wonder if the poor service is just because it was a Sunday night. If the service matched the quality of the food, this would be a terrific spot.

A lively pub with a large outdoor area with heaters. Service was fairly efficient and the drinks were at a reasonable price.
