Carvery
Toby Carvery Bishopstoke (Southampton) is a timeless family-friendly restaurant that specializes in serving roast meats carvery-style. They offer a variety of options such as tender slices of beef, pork, turkey, and honey-and-mustard-glazed gammon from their hot buffet selection, accompanied by all the traditional side dishes. This home of the roast is open every day of the week, providing a satisfying dining experience for those craving a carvery meal.

Having had a voucher for this place I thought that I would take a friend with me to impress. What a big mistake that was. Having had a belly full of various sliced meats over Christmas, we both went for the mushroom and ale pie. We duly asked the waitress for a HOT meat pie and for it to be served on a HOT PLATE. On going up to collect it, it was placed on a COLD plate, which the chef changed after we said about it. On "struggling" to cut into the pie, through the THICK pastry, the contents were hot. So credit where credit due. Unfortunately the Yorkshire puddings were not as good as other restaurants either. We struggled to cut through them, like trying to cut into rubber. I do have a health and safety issue for those of you that go there in the dark. Take a good torch with you. As we was coming out of there we both nearly fell down the steps, not just the once but twice, as there are no lights outside and we thought we was at the bottom of the steps, when we wasn't.

We got there really early so was lucky enough to get a table. But as my first Toby Carvery experience, and from what I've heard about the restaurant, it matched it to a T. I went for the King size option, which included additional meat alongside the buffet vegetable options. Two words, awesome roast. The lamb was succulent, the turkey just right, and the beef was juicy. The gravy interacted with the Yorkshire pudding excellently and was a delight to devour. Honestly would return, especially for the price of only 13.99! (Plus all the addons)

The food was alright, as expected, but my wife and I had taken our goddaughter out for dinner and the experience as a whole was fantastic. The lady who served us, Victoria, was fabulous. Very funny, engaging, efficient and had our goddaughter in stitches. It made the evening so much more than just a meal out and it came at the end of a very hard week. She's a real asset to the restaurant (and company) and we will definitely return in future. It was a real pleasure and we had a great night out. Thank you.

This was our first visit here and unfortunately it wasn’t great. Taken to a table for 2 that we had to move to be able to sit at because of the table behind and the waiter who escorted us just walked away although it was obvious we wouldn’t be able to sit down. Food and crayons on the floor near where we were sitting which wouldn’t have taken a minute to sweep up. Meat selection was good with a choice of 4 but I had to ask if there were more roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese available even though it was obvious they had run out. Parsnips, cauliflower in cheese and peas were not fully cooked and the condiments that were sat on the filthy side by the gravy were empty. I asked if there was any and no one came back to me. Standing waiting my dinner was getting cold so asked another member of staff who went and got horseradish and apple sauce. No one came to the table and asked how our meal was at all and certainly didn’t clear our table and offer desserts, so we found a member of staff to pay and left disappointed. Also disappointed to see that the price of the same carvery meal is more expensive on a Sunday, traditional roast day, than any other day of the week. What service or standard justifies that increase on a Sunday…nothing!
Sandra Willis — Google review
Customer service was friendly and welcoming and attentive from the lady who greeted us on the door to our server, and smiles from bar staff. There was a quiet atmosphere and no queues which was great. The downside was the carver was no where to be seen and I had to ask to be served. He was then not very friendly. The food was not hot and did not look appealing and there was a very limited range of veg. There were flies in the restaurant which was a little offputting .It tasted fine however and we had an enjoyable visit overall.

Have visited a few times recently and the service has been appalling. Also staff look very miserable. Only seemed to be one chap running around doing everything. So well done to him. Food on the other hand was great.....so well done chef. If I were to visit again it would purely be because the food is good. Not because there's a lovely friendly atmosphere and happy staff! Because there definitely wasn't.

I literally hate writing a review like this but I feel it’s only fair to share our experience as I can’t imagine anyone else not feeling the same. Going back through reviews left by other customers it’s clear nothing has changed and the responses from the management team there are generic and no improvements have been made. I attended the Toby Carvery Bishopstoke restaurant on Sunday the 5th of November with my family there were 6 of us altogether. Myself and my family have been going to this same restaurant for years. However we’ve noticed the last few times we’ve been the standards of the roast dinner have slipped. The staff were efficient and polite as always however the roast dinner was way below a restaurant standard at £14.50 per person! The beef was inedible, very chewy, vegetables dry and the amount of people waiting for gravy was unacceptable. In fact the whole dinner was tasteless. This was the worst roast dinner we’ve ever had in a restaurant. It’s clear the restaurant can’t cope with the amount of bookings they’re taking to the amount of staff and dinners they’re having to account for. I’m sorry to say this but until this improves or I read positive reviews, then we’ll be going elsewhere! Come on read how negative your reviews are and do something about it as it’s not acceptable!

Throughout the evening as we came in Sarah our sever was nothing but amazing. I had taken my dad and two kids to Toby, hesitant from past experience but did not want to pass out on the £1 half term deal for the kids. I am an Area Manager myself in the hospitality industry and connections are at the heart of this industry. Sarah was attentive, spoke to all her guest in a genuine manner that brought back that human connection that majority of times is missing. She was apologetic for the longer wait, and made all her guest at ease. She was polite and respectful which is always a bonus. Not once did I feel like I was a transaction, she made me and family feel welcome. She was bubbly throughout eventhough it was busier than usual with the deal with lots of families around. She even sang jiggle all the way while carrying several glassware, which was nice to see that she would bring a little spark to such a mundane task. Thank you Sarah! You are acing it and deserve some recognition. The Carver Luke did a good job although he could have projected himself more in a happier way, however I understand the long queue probably did not excite him in this particular role. His portions were fair and he made eye contact which was great as well connected with the kids. Overall, my best experience in Toby Carvery, and I'm hopeful to be back soon with the level of care and attention from today's visit. Bonus - i booked a table for 8pm, arrived at 7:40pm and was seated straight away! Amazing! Sarah was very helpful in navigating me on the App as it was my first time too! I told Sarah myself what an amazing job she was doing 😊. It's important to recognise great work when you see it, it's not all about the critical but celebrating the good efforts too! Thank you - Completely forgot to add my car reg earlier, I tried calling the restaurant quite late when I remembered at 22:45. I couldn't get through but left a voicemail, if someone could help with this pls. Got so carried away writing the review that I forgot to add my car on the system 😵‍💫

I have mobility issues so when I booked a table online I stated this and asked if they can accommodate accessibility. When we arrived the guy who greeted us was great re: making sure that I had a choice of areas to sit and he - and other staff there - were very mindful and aware and offered help without me even needing to ask - eg swooped in and carried plate to table etc (I was on crutches that particular day), and were just very attentive without being overly so. Generally all staff seemed happy and each of the ones I saw/spoke to were all very friendly. The food was good - although signs above/next to the gravy would be a good idea - ie vegetarian, etc.. I’m not personally veggie and will eat either anyway, but it was the only observation that I made. Definitely a nice place for lunch and lovely staff always are good.
Paula Taylor — Google review
The food I did try was tasty but was limited as too much was dried out as overheld. The carvery deck looked like a bomb had dropped, the chef's were too busy chatting to even give it a clean or wipe down and didn't even bother to refresh the veg which had been sat under the hot plate for far too long and was dried out on the hotplate or under the hot lights. I wouldn't have minded if the place had been packed out with huge queues but there were plenty of staff on and no queues to deal with. Get a cloth out and give the place a wipe down for god sake make the place look presentable. As for the chef's whites I get they get dirty (my partner is a chef) but your Chef's both looked like their whites hadn't been washed in a month!!!! Good job I was starving after a 7hr drive!!!

Terrible!! The food looked like it had been sat there for hours!! The gammon and pork had a bit left and what was left was dried out but the carver carried on using it! The veg was dried up and there were 2 flies buzzing around the food and kept landing on the meat!! There was no gravy and by the time I found someone to tell, we waited 10 minutes for it and our dinner was cold!! No apologies at all. The carver tried giving me 2 tiny slices of meat- not even enough for a child!! I asked for more. Very very disappointed

Firstly we would like to say the waitresses were lovely people, however we had a table booked for 8:40 expecting to eat a classic cavery however by 9 after finishing a small plate they took away the buffet without actually informing us. Furthermore they didn’t let us know that they were closing if they did we would have ate somewhere else or ordered other food. This is very disappointing as we did not get our moneys worth!

Easily the best carvery in a 10m radius. Always fresh meat and veg, the gravy is awesome and the staff are brilliant, always happy to go the extra mile where required. Ample seating inside and outside, and a lovely little river and garden area out back to enjoy in the summer.

As always, lovely smiles on most of the staffs faces when they saw me. I made the carver's day with my attempts at humour. The cheesecake is to die for, almost literally, amazing! Very happy to come here many times with various women. Thanks.

Another lovely carvery today, great food, the brownie afterwards went down well, Luke our carver was polite and generous and wonderful service, it was busy today but nothing was too much trouble for our server Steph who was very busy but helpful, polite and with a lovely smile throughout, can't wait to come back and see you all again soon

We went there for Sunday lunch which was very nice. They had different selections of roast meat, vegetables which you helped yourself to after choosing your meat selection. They have a decent size car park a good selection of beers and wines etc and soft drinks. They are also child friendly. And had a steady stream of customers coming to have food so obviously it is a very popular place. My friend and I had a lovely roast and thoroughly enjoyed it,so much so that we didn't have room to have a sweet etc and we left the building fully satisfied.👍😊

I went for a breakfast here this morning I have been a few times and it has been a great value for money. However I won’t be again. When we went up to serve our breakfast they had ran out of eggs and bacon. I raised it to the lady at the till after waiting for her to finish her conversation with another member of staff (I assume with managerial, as she was working on a laptop in the bar area) she then said she will ask the kitchen staff. They bought the eggs out but not the bacon. At this point the member of staff that was on the laptop was stood behind me i politely asked her if any more bacon was coming out her response was. “ I haven’t started my shift yet, but I will check as she rudely stormed in to the kitchen” It made me feel that I was not a valued customer. So if you go for breakfast don’t tell them they have ran out of anything they will make you feel very small. Overall rude customer service.

I took myself and my family for breakfast at this tobys, the breakfast was nice, being a self service set up it is very straight forward and you can eat till you die so that was nice, the scenery at this particular branch are really picturesque, there is a stream at the rear of the building which you can see from the window along with lovely forestry surroundings. Very tranquil. It was quite when we went which was around 10:30 on a Saturday which suited us. Very nice.

We went for Valentine's Day. The set menu was amazing. Perfectly cooked steak, large portions and a nice gin! The service was smooth, friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great night!

First time visit as I was in the area at the time, the service was unprofessional, chefs in the kitchen food quality was average but served hot, chefs wearing dirty uniform and rings and piercings when cooking the food, no basic hygiene observed. The waitresses were under pressure and the whole place not organised, dead environment won’t be returning unfortunately..

We have visited the hut a number of times. We usually enjoy the experience but this weekend the food was a disappointment. Although hot and quite tasty depending on the dish but there was simply not enough food on the plates - poor value for money. For example two members of my family had a prawn dish - consisting of 5 prawns, chips and a sauce that cost over £15 and one had to pay ‘another’ £3 for a tiny bowl of vegetables! Another dish had a tiny chicken breast some chips and a small portion of slaw - tasty but not enough food on the plate! What a disappointment. My son and I were still hungry after the main dish and desert. Many restaurants in the UK serve up meagre portions. The Hut appears to be travelling in the same direction.

We went to The Hut for my birthday lunch. Food was great. Had the mixed grill. What I’m more impressed with is the service. Tracey G served us and she is fantastic! She checked that everything was alright a couple of times and even remembered what we liked from our previous visit more than a week ago! Thanks Tracey.

Had a 63rd birthday here. T bone steak for £20 tasty and good value. 3, 4 0z steak dinner was superb. 2 others had lunch time menu which was good value for money. All in all a very good meal cooked well and service was very good. Never had a bad steak here always very good.

Really nice pub, very good food deals. Lunchtime deal is 2 courses for £8.95. I think it might be specific days but the food is really tasty and very cheap. I had a refillable soft drink which was also great value.

Party of 12 enjoyed Christmas dinner 2023. Staff were AMAZING. They worked relentlessly to ensure we had a wonderful Festive family feast. Despite not having a manager at the helm, they all stepped up to plate, rolled up their sleeves, soldiered on like a well oiled machine, making it so evident that excellent customer service was at the very heart of their intentions. It had inadvertently come to my attention that the previous party booking were being difficult and abusive, refusing to vacate the table, thus delaying our meal booking. The staff, especially Sam, Sacha and Amy, worked tirelessly and efficiently, with smiles and excellent service. They were full of apologies for our inconvenience (unnecessary; I'm not cooking, I'm not cleaning), and even though the pub was absolutely full to bursting, they were regularly and attentively communicating with us on progress before and between courses. This cannot have been easy!!! We felt valued and enjoyed a thoroughly delicious well prepared and presented 3 course meal. It should have been 4, but through no fault of their own AND already an hour past closing time, feeling well looked after, utterly satiated (compliments to the chef and team) and more than adequately compensated for our inconvenience, it was absolutely no skin off our noses to let these tireless hospitality warriors go home and spend what little of the day was left, with their loved ones. Merry Christmas Guys!! Magnificent efforts 🤗

We had our work Christmas party here. There were 10 people and we all had a fantastic time. We pre-ordered our food which all came correctly and met all our dietary requirements. The portions were so big and filling. Plenty of veg and meat of the roasts and large portions for pudding! Our waitress was brilliant! So friendly, polite and attentive. We had plenty of drinks and sides when needed and were able to pay the bill easily. The whole experience was great from the restaurant atmosphere, food choices and service. We will definitely be back for our Christmas party next year!

Went for my son's birthday and had a lovely meal. Our waitress was lovely, very attentive, especially as she was up and down the stairs serving us. I'm only up on holiday visiting, but looking forward to coming for a meal the next time I'm down from Glasgow.

Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive. We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.
Chris Magee — Google review
Went for Christmas dinner on Christmas day had to wait in the rain for 15 minutes, before going in as previous sitting didn't leave on time, then waited 1 hour + for drinks and starter, after that service flowed better, staff were very apologetic and it was beyond there control, but it was very long to wait for a drink with 2 young children. Wouldn't go for Christmas day again.
Harriet Brown — Google review
Not too busy at lunchtime, so nice and quick service, really good quality meal for the price! The decor is lovely too. Special shout-out to Tracey G for her great service, made me feel very welcome!
Kieran Kennedy — Google review
My wife and I went for dinner and this was our first time at The Hut. The food was good and portion sizes were generous enough. Prices were reasonable too. It’s really a pub (with full table service) so decor and ambiance don’t count for too much but both were adequate. The only gripe we had was the rather poor quality of service. When you have to be calling over the waitress, repeatedly, because she’s chatting at other tables (and not just the once) then it gets a bit disappointing. And it’s not like she was young and inexperienced. As mentioned earlier, this was our first visit so maybe the service is generally better but on this occasion, not so much.
AKK — Google review
My family and I recently visited The Hut Beefeater restaurant, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. The food quality was dismal. The beef and ale pie was overcooked, accompanied by peas straight from the freezer, and served with stone-cold chips. Even the children’s meal, a simple burger and chips, was a letdown, with cold chips and a rubbery burger. Our attempts to address these issues with our waiter, Kristie, were met with indifference. Despite multiple complaints, she showed little concern or willingness to address our dissatisfaction. To make matters worse, the dessert options were severely lacking, with key items like churros and cheesecake unavailable. The kitchen hygiene was also concerning, as we witnessed a cook handling food with bare hands and visibly trembling. Even our request to be seated away from the kitchen was dismissed, with no alternative seating offered. Overall, our experience at The Hut Beefeater was disappointing. We hope management takes our feedback seriously to improve the quality of food and service for future patrons.

Pub
Restaurant
The Cricketers Arms is a charming British-style pub, complete with a picturesque white picket fence and traditional decor. The menu offers classic pub dishes that are well-received by patrons. Despite the challenge of accommodating a large table of 20+ guests, the staff handled the situation admirably, ensuring minimal wait times for service. One downside to note is the lack of soft furnishings such as carpets or curtains, which contribute to a noisy atmosphere exacerbated by loud music.
Lovely pub and atmosphere! We are local and love it here! Fish and Chips are amazing! My partner hates fish but he has even ordered this and says it’s unbelievably good. We take our newborn with us and the staff are so accommodating and friendly especially Debbie and her sister! Best pub in the area by far.

Busy busy busy pub ... at least on a Friday evening. Despite pitching up "on spec" without a booking, the friendly unruffled staff made space for us and served up 3 delicious 2-course meals for less than £20 per head. Well done guys & girls for looking after us so nicely despite clearly having to run quite hard just to keep up.
Derek Jones — Google review
Very friendly and alert staff, while serving others they keep an eye on you. If you have finished their quickly round to see if you need anything. The food is good and hot. Cost of meals good. My relatives praised the pub and we will visit again.
Jeff — Google review
Food is good and the staff were very good considering there was a table of 20+ people who arrived at the same time as we did and we didn't have to wait too long to be served. Unfortunately there is very little in the way of soft furnishings - no carpets, no curtains, nothing to absorb noise - and the music was quite loud, so it was nearly impossible to talk to my fellow diners on my table. Next time we'll eat in the garden, provided the weather is good!
Dave Ashford — Google review
I didn't eat here. The venue is lovely, welcoming and homely. My only criticism is the range of hot drinks isn't great. I couldn't get a chai latte, or a mocha, or herbal/fruit tea. However, I would go again

Went there last night with two old friends. The place was packed. Fortunately, my friends had prebooked. We were quickly shown to our table & our drinks order taken. Upon our drinks being served, We were then asked for our food order. We all chose differently and there weren't any things on the menu out of stock. The meals quickly arrived and we proceeded to enjoy our evening, being asked for drink refills as necessary. We were served by Lou. Thank you.

This pub has gone down hill. Very popular, and great sunny garden with lots of tables. Food was poor quality. The gammon steaks were good value but very fatty. It was more like pork belly ! The chips were over cooked. Friendly staff but let down by the quality of food and drink. I was served ale in a dirty glass. It was pretty grim.
Greg Davis — Google review
We were very disappointed that after deciding what to have to eat we were told that there was no steak, chicken or gammon left so then had to choose something else. It would have been better to have been told this at the time we were given the menus. The food and drinks took a very long time to be served. The food when it came was very nice

Our visit was ok but our previous visits have been so much better. One of our party is gluten free and this seemed to create a huge problem. The roast was ok, luke warm and unfortunately the gluten free version removes the Yorkshire and stuffing but this isn't replaced with anything so they ended up paying the same price for a much smaller portion of food. Hopefully things improve back to the old standards.

Has gone downhill since I last visited. We waited 30 minutes to take our food order so went to the bar instead where we ordered starters and mains. Which for some reason they thought it was a good idea to bring them all together 🤦. And never asked if we need more drinks other than the initial time. The food was passable but usually very good for pub grub. Won't be coming back in a hurry.

Nice pub. Lovely staff. Parking is ok. I had the pea and mint risotto which tasted lovely but unfortunately some of the rice was under cooked. That doesn't stop me from wanting to go again though. Battered halloumi and the steak meals that were served on my table, was delicious so all good

Had a mid week meal here. We booked ahead and once seated the staff were alittle slow to take our drink order, waited over 15 mins. Food order was taken once drinks delivered and food came out quick after about 10 mins. Quality of food was ok and filled a gap. The atmosphere in the pub was nice and plenty of parking on site.

Family restaurant
Harvester Swan Centre Eastleigh is a family-friendly chain eatery that specializes in grilled meats, salads, pasta, and seafood. It has received positive feedback on multiple occasions from patrons who were pleased with the service and food quality. The staff members, such as Phoebe and Danny, have been described as friendly, professional, and helpful. They demonstrate support for their colleagues like Chef Polly.
Me and my girlfriend visited Harvester on 02/04/22 and we had a really great experience. Our server Danny was really nice and helpful and treated us very well and made sure our food was good. He offered everything to us and was most helpful. Made the experience 10 times better and couldn't ask for more. So happy

A little Harvester - atmosphere is pretty minimal although we went on a Friday lunchtime and it was extremely quiet. It's your usual Harvester deal with salad bar etc.. we ate from the two/three course lunch menu. The cheesy garlic bread left alot to be desired. We received a bone dry bread roll with a tiny bit of melted cheese on top with a vague taste of garlic. 4 portions of butter from the salad bar later it was just about edible. Strange as I remember garlic bread from others harvester being quite nice. Mains were nice. It's just okay but I would drive the extra 2 mins and go to Harvester Ham Farm instead better food, service and atmosphere in my opinion.

My Husband and I have had two meals at this Venue over the last couple of weeks and had great experiences on both occasions. Last evening, we were served by the delightful Phoebe. She was both professional friendly and helpful, when we mentioned that we would give her review she asked if we would mention the Chef Polly. This illustrated to us that she supports her colleagues. The food was very good and the service excellent.

Fantastic place. First time at a harvester as a family. Waitress was brilliant at her job, but felt she was rushed off her feet with the lack of staff.
Callum Petch — Google review
Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to feedback two things. 1. The service was pretty good. Our waiter was friendly and helped to engage the kids. 2. The pricing and ‘t&cs’ of your offers are utterly outrageous. The fact that there is no clear indication that they are non-compatible or that if you use 1 you can’t use another coat is a small fortune. We have 4 children and eating out is a treat for us as a family. After our experience this time, we will not be returning. As parents, we look to find the best possible value for our times out and your ‘kids eat for £1 at Easter’ offer was a wonderful opportunity. However, by missing the small print - which is barely visible - we ordered our food unaware of the the small fortune we were about to spend. It transpires that the kids ‘meal-deal’ is an offer, the 2-course meal we ordered was an offer. Our special treat night ended up costing us over £20 more than we anticipated. Ultimately, although I’m annoyed about the money, I’m more upset at the way in which your poor waiter had to explain to us that, he was really sorry but, it was going to be the full price. The lack of transparency was very poor and as I said earlier, we won’t be returning to your restaurant chain. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, everyone else seem to be happy with their food yesterday. I had a chicken skewer, and I was disgusted by it. It was clearly chicken thigh, rather than chicken breast. What is with that, harvester!?! If I pay £13 for something, I do not expect to get chicken thigh meat, which was greasy and squishy. Not something you want from a skewer. Also, the way the salad bar is handled now, it’s quite disappointing. I hope they go back to the good old harvester ways soon!

After quite a mixed experience with harvesters in the past, we took our 2 girls to the swan centre after a day at Peppa pig world. Our server "I'm new" was an an absolutely brilliant asset to the team, letting us know he might be a little slow taking our orders, but he was attentive, had a laugh with us and and interacted with the whole table including our daughter's. A slight mistake was made regarding a menu option, but this was quickly and politely rectified by the manager. The food was delicious, arrived quickly and was nice and hot which hasn't always been the case with other harvester restaurants. All in all, a really pleasant and positive visit, thank you!

Medium rare ribeye ordered which was returned as it was well done. Next steak rare and full of far. See photo. Food mediocre wait staff thorough and friendly. Chocolate fudge cake made up for less than average mains

Food was reasonably priced, very tasty and well presented. Our servers, Megan and Lilly were outstanding. Megan in particular offered exceptional service. Very friendly and professional. Well done!

My sister wanted her 21st birthday meal here as she loves Harvester (good salad bar and variety of vegetarian options). There was a big group of us but the staff were still very attentive and one of them offered to put birthday banners up before she arrived which was lovely. The food was nice as well, so all round great night!

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Eastleigh is a casual Italian chain eatery known for its stone-baked pizzas and classic pasta dishes. They also offer a separate menu for kids. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly, providing an overall fantastic dining experience. The quality of the food lives up to expectations, with prompt service throughout the three-course set menu. While some may find the speed of service overwhelming, a walk outside afterwards can easily remedy any discomfort.
The food was delicious, the staff very kind and attentive. It was a bit more busy and loud than we would've liked considering it was a date and I don't get to see my boyfriend very much. But being busy is a good thing for them. Nice decor, clean, would eat there again.

The dinner here was amazing. We were disappointed at first that they could not offer us any pizza or garlic bread, which took away almost half of the menu! However, we did order some pasta meals which we were content with. We could not fault the service, or the quality of food. We would come again, despite the issue with the pizza, which we can appreciate must not happen often...

The food is extremely hit or miss. I’ve tried the risotto which was incredible but then the lobster/crab ravioli was shockingly bad (it was in a “lobster bisque” which was just cream. The prices are extortionate for the quality of the food. We paid £50 for two mains, a starter (fried mozz) and two extremely watered down soft drinks. Service is always a bit slow, but they are typically busy when I go so I’ll give them that. A woman was rolling a cigarette, and then proceeding to light it a couple times AT HER TABLE. The waiters failed to say anything to her despite how blatantly obvious it was. Would not recommend.

Went there for a nice dinner and i wasn‘t disappointed! The Pinsa was really fluffy and i‘m still thinking about that delicious burrata a few days later! Will definitively come back to try some other things!

Online order via Just Eats cancelled after one hour. Prezzo informed me that order had been cancelled by customer. It wasn’t. Soon after Prezzo Eastleigh was not taking online orders. Can’t help wondering if they were not doing orders and order cancelled for that reason. Shan’t bother wasting my time again. Plenty of other restaurants that do bother fulfilling orders.

Showing up late on a Saturday evening, the staff managed to find us a table. As a vegetarian, I had a lot of options to choose from. My food (pumpkin ravioli) was delicious, a generous dish full of contrasting flavors which I really enjoyed. Shout-out to our waitress Sofia who was truly adorable and has really bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable. Merci beaucoup !

I visited on an early Friday evening. I know this is Italian food. However, I didn't fancy pasta or pizza, so I went for the seabass, which was lovely. The chocolate cake for dessert didn't match the mouthwatering description. It was really dull. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are very attentive. It's quite pricey, so recommend looking out for 2 for 1 meal vouchers before you go

Visited twice so far. Quite happy with the food, which I was not expecting since it is a chain restaurant, but happy to be wrong! We tried the dolce e piccante and ham/mushroom/mascarpone pizzas, the marsala chicken with mushrooms and beef with porcini mash. It was all very good, and arrived quite quickly. The prices are fair and the portions appropriate. We also had iced vanilla and caramel lattes, that were also good.

Wonderful evening celebrating the Christmas season in my support bubble. First time I have eaten out since August and what is more than apparent is that it is not the restaurants that are to blame for the ever increasing rise in COVID. Prezzo could not have done more to ensure that there venue is safe, way more than the supermarkets that's for sure. Food was fantastic, they forgot our starter but sorted the situation quickly. Wonderful staff I'm just so sorry that you once again find yourselves on the verge of furlough. Without a doubt I will come back again as soon as you reopen. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

Tasty food, friendly staff, overall a fantastic experience! The food was that tasty quality you’d expect from Prezzo. We were there for and on Valentine’s and the night was perfect! Went for the three course set menu and each course arrived very promptly. In and out within an hour, now that’s speedy but still delivering that fantastic service. Saying that I don’t think my body was ready for the quickness though.😅 Three courses within a short space of time and I didn’t feel quite right, though a bit of fresh air and walking around afterwards and I felt much better. Not a complaint against Prezzo Eastleigh though.😊 Very happy with our experience and will definitely come again 😊

Never used a presso before and t be honest very disappointed. Service was pushed to limit very understaffed. Food for a chain that claims authentic Italian..... not even average. Had a crab and lobster ravioli in a basque. My understanding of a bisque is its a soup. This was not a bisque didn't even cover the ravioli. Garlic bread I'd have like to taste the garlic. Not even enough to scare a vampire. I didn't complain because the staff were under the cosh work wise not enough to cover
