Absolutely top notch place, lovely pints, great place to watch sport. They gave out free burgers during the rugby match that were incredible, highly recommended.

While visiting the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery, our guide recommended visiting the Brewery Tap to try their apple cider and tullamore cocktail, which we did. We also had lunch. The drinks and food were very good. The four of us all had the potato leek soup which I would definitely recommend. Great place to visit if you’re in tullamore.

A proper Irish pub but with great comfort food for very affordable prices, i have to say. Was served by a lovely lady and the atmosphere is great! Want the recipe of their homemade coleslaw ;)

4* for a nice friendly pub. I am raging that I never tryed the food. Our first time sitting indoors for a while.The staff were 100% good atmosphere we had some laughs! We will definitely go back to the tap the next time we are back in Tullamore for drinks & grub!

One of the greatest restaurants in town, definitely best for your buck. Great staff with good humour and patience even when dealing with rowdy customers. Quick service with food never taking more than 20 minutes for a reasonable size of a party.

What an AMAZING culinary experience. I have to say, there was nothing to find fault with, and that is coming from two self confessed fussy-foodies! The pictures speak for themselves, and yes, they tasted every bit as good (or even better) than it looks. Highly, highly recommend.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The Sunday lunch menu was presented as water for the table was provided. The attention to make the 4 Yr old with us feel special was above and beyond what should be expected. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The quality of the food was excellent. Starters of Crabbrulee, Garlic Mushrooms and one of the finest, flavoursome mushroom soup that I have enjoyed in a very long time. Mains of pasta for the 4 yr old, lamb for 2 guests and pulled pork for 1 were beautifully presented and ate as well as they looked. All were served with red cabbage, carrot and mash. Extra carrots were also ordered. Desserts were plentiful (warm chocolate mudcake and pavlova being our choice) all washed down with well made cappuccino. For a Michelin 🌟 restaurant anywhere else you would expect to spend €180 ➕️ All came in at under €100. I am already planning another visit for the new year. Thank you to an amazing staff.

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Great staff. Great food. Reasonably priced. .....and the best thing....a full vegetarian menu. Not just token dishes hidden in among the other dishes but a full choice of vegetarian dishes. Wow.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. A perfect evening for 7 of us. Friendly helpful and efficient staff, putting customers completely at ease. World class food cooked expertly, not a thing wrong in any of the dishes. When you get a side of thick cut chips that are exquisite that is the standard. I will probably bore people recommending this wonderful restaurant. 👏👏👏👏

We had the most amazing food here. The service was so friendly and prompt. We weren't able for dessert this evening but we will definitely go back and sample them. Judging by the starter and main course I can't wait to try them. 💯 👍👍👏👏

This is one of the better restaurants in Tullamore. The food is delicious and portions are good. The staff are great, and very attentive to customers with gluten free requirements. Best garlic mushrooms I've ever had, crunchy outside but not dry. The lentil curry had such a depth of flavour but not too spicy. Everything was loved by us all. Highly recommend both for vegetarians and meat eaters. There's a large amount of choice. Missed Sarah though.

Friends meet up dinner. Food was 5 star as was the service. Starters of soup, pear and goats cheese salad, garlic mushrooms were all delicious. Mains of trout and lamb were absolutely amazing. Dessert topped off a most wonderful meal.

I recently visited Cafe India and was blown away by the delicious food. The all dished was cooked to perfection and the flavors were amazing. We started with the "Cafe India Veggie Selection", which was great. For our main course, we had the "Tandoori Nagpuri" and "Baigan Ghost", which was also fantastic. We finished our meal with the ice cream and cake, which was amazing. The staff was professional and very friendly, and the service was quick. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service that we received.

My wife and I were staying in Tullamore for a couple of nights and ordered from Cafe India for takeaway one of the nights. It was honestly the best Indian food we've had in a long while. I can't say exactly what we ordered as I asked them to recommend two chefs specials but both dishes (1 chicken and 1 lamb) were absolutely delicious. We also ordered a Saag Paneer side, which was outstanding. There was plenty of food and it was all very reasonably priced. Service was friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you Cafe India staff. We will be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommend.

what can i say? one of the best dining experinces i've ever had in offaly. the ambiance was really lovely with nice music i felt i was in a movie play, the decor was so warm the staff were so polite, super delicious halal food here, i really appreciate the chef who made a different dish outside the menu for us [roast lamb leg] irish spring lamb the best in the world, we had amazing food seekh kebabs/ chicken pakora/ popodums with chutney was a real treat , spicy salmon fish, was so good, the staff were very nice, the food was cooked with perfection the different spices in the dishes were so fresh. thanks guys for lovely meal my guests really enjoyed, great memories.

I got a delivery of a chicken jalfrezi which I personally didn't like the taste of. It just doesn't taste as good as the Jalfrezi I got before in other Indian restaurants like Mayur in Portlaoise or the Shishir in Tullamore. The chicken was not nice. The rice was ok. The peshawar naan was not nice. The naan had this purple spread all inside it I ended up throwing almost everything out. Very disappointed and will not order from here again.

Visited with my group very tasty fruit salad , chicken tikka masala and fresh baked Nan bread. Excellent service , highly recommended

This is our first time in Ireland and I'm so glad we found this gem of a place! You're spoiled for choice on the menu. Even the poppadom pickle was first class! I had the Lahori cod starter which I really recommend. The batter was light, fluffy yet crispy and not at all oily. In fact, every dish we had was beautiful and had been made with love. We came away full and happy, thank you all! The staff are all friendly, special thanks to Zohib(sorry if I spelt your name wrong), who looked after us.

Super service!the staff were well trained in hospitality. Menu catered for all diets. The food was well presented, hot and full of flavour. The desserts were handmade and tasted very nice especially the Baklava. Will definitely be back.

Food was stupendous. The goats cheese tasted really good. Decent chunky sized pieces of cheese. The burger was very big but not heavy and fatty, nice spice to it. Brownie was excellent and the cheese cake was just so light and delicious! I’d recommend this place.

Deserts hit and miss. Shared cheeseboard for 2 was very poor value for almost €13. Poor selection of very dry cheeses. No blue cheeses. Crackers were cheap cream crackers. The grapes were the tastiest part. Without doubt, the worst cheeseboard I have ever been served. But overall it was a good experience.

The food here was amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. However, the service that we received wasn’t so great unfortunately. We ordered two large T-bone steaks (almost impossible to finish in one sitting). We each saved over half of our meal and asked for it to be packed as a takeaway. After paying the bill, we asked where the food was. The waitress looked horrified and said that she had thrown it away, and said that they had a new member of staff who hadn’t clearly communicated that we wanted to take it home. No attempt was made to rectify the situation, which was really disappointing. (Wrote this review earlier this year but it didn’t post!)

Myself and my family recently had a meal for my son's 21st birthday. The food was absolutely delicious 10/10. The waiters and waitresses were excellent and we're so lovely to us all great service and atmosphere. Probably the best restaurant in Tullamore. Would usually have tried the steak, but very pricey options. I had the honey chicken, it was lovely. Overall great place but on the expensive side.

The food here is excellent and so is the ambience. We tried the garlic mushrrom,sea bass and the chicken pasta tagliatelle. The staff were friendly and the large aquariums on either side of the dinning area as well as the rest of the decor with fishing nets and other boat equipment goes well with the awesome seafood available here.Definitely recommended if you are in Tullamore.

We were on holiday about 15mins away and were looking for a family restaurant. This did live up to the previous reviews. The steaks were great but the fish a little disappointing. The house red and white wine was brilliant and the price was to be expected. Would definitely recommend it for a family meal.

Booked in for valentines for 1st time. We live near by for 4 years but never visited this place, somehow from outside it doesn’t look too inviting and give some sort of misconceptions that looks like it’s closed. But oh wow positive surprise. Great menu, great interior, kind of Italian cousine with hint of Turkish I guess. As for appetiser we got some sesame flat bread. Food delicious, fresh. We had soup, scallops, steak etc couldn’t fault it full of flavour. A lot of sea food on the menu. Apple crumble for dessert just like I remember from my childhood. Already rebooked with our friends for another dinner in. Hidden gem in Tullamore town.

Someone should make a fly-on-the-wall documentary based on Friday nights here. If you want to know what rural Ireland looks and sounds like this is where you'll see it. It's just your regular chipper with your regular expected menu. But it also has a sit-in area. The service is admirably quick and good humoured, the food is the best of its kind. The cost is reasonable and you'll get a slice of life on the side. Cash only BTW.

Delicious food and friendly staff. This place is always busy. Portions in here are very big so the prices relate to what you get. We are always so full afterward we eat in here. What more could you ask for 😊
