It's a great experience....especially the snow-filled mountains and travel to the titlis mountains in the cable care....great protection should be taken one waterproof heavy jacket and snow protection boots are mandatory.....go early so that you can visit all the stops starts by 9 and closes by 5....

Absolutely worth the trip. The trip here was quite expensive (considering the trip from Zurich) but it was absolutely worth it! The views were amazing. Definitely recommend for everyone, and skiers.

It was so beautiful and peaceful! Went during summer time and it was still very cold on top but it was really fun! The cable car ride with a really pretty view, the slope with little seats to go down with, the chair lift ride, all of it was very fun!

I had the time of my life here. Located at 10,500 feet above the sea level, it's one of the most sought after tourist destination in Switzerland. Take a train ride to Engelberg and then continue with the cable car rides. In the end enjoy the slow rotating Gondola. The mountains are covered in snow and make for an amazing view. People who enjoy skiing can do ski here. The famous movie ddlj posters are also here. And of course a walk to the highest suspension bridge is an awesome experience.

Beautiful mountain with spectacular views. The ride to the top of the mountain is amazing ! There are 2 types of cable cars. First one is normal with 6-8 person capacity. Second one is a big one and is a revolving cable Car which gives everyone a 360 degree panoramic view of the mountains. There is also an additional open cable Car which is super fun there are several activities at the top to do and visit. Ice caves, skywalk bridge, open cable Car etc. There are restaurants at the top which serve variety of food from Indian to European. The ticket of the cable car up and down is 96 CHF and can be bought at the counter below. Summer season is usually crowded. There are plenty of car and bus parking spaces available at the foot of the mountain. Must visit !!

Beautiful and stunning views. While going up the hill it was cloudy and was no visibility. It looked just like a moon base when we got to the top! So cool! You make your way up via rotating cable car! Thrilling! Make sure you do the cliff walk, ice cave, and don’t forget to sledge! So much fun! Titlis is definitely worth the trip! Just incredible!

The best day trip ever ! What an amazing place.. The cable car rides to the top and the view from the top, the snow and amazing food at 3238m above sea level ! If there is one thing to do in Switzerland, would recommend a day trip to Mt Titlis

A good experience. DDLJ shot here. Go for the views. The minimum temperature is -23 degree celsius during winters. Be sure to check weather forecast as trolleys could be closed if snowfall is there.

One of the best activities for the family during summer. Titlis is a very interesting place where the snow covers the mountain, everyone is playing with the snow while temperatures are reasonably low.. Waiting ques is long and can take up to 1 hour... Again, you will face another que at the cable cars especially if you are late.. I prefer to purchase tickets in advance.. Parking lot is available and you have to pay... Usually, it will take you 2 to 3 hours to have a proper visit... Other people take 2 days instead of one especially when you do hiking.... Opens from 9 am till 5 pm... I would say it's cheaper than top of Europe.... Best to go there before mid June as these years temperatures are going high during summer..

Beautiful summit. Not as exciting and overwhelming as the Jungfrau... but still a beautiful summit and very well organized attractions around it (including the panoramic evolving cable train.

We had great weather and not very busy. No lines, clean restrooms and good service. Wear good hiking shoes and warm jacket is still chilly but not bad. Is still pricey 100 per person for the lifts.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. It was so beautiful and wonderful. I would love to go back to Switzerland and explore all the beauties that it has to offer. If you are ever in Switzerland be sure to visit it. You won't regret it. Love it!

This is the famous spot where DDLJ poster is placed. We visited in summer but still we could enjoy snow. Must enjoy ice flyer and cliff walk. Ice cave is also good to visit. When you buy a ticket, you get these activities included with return ticket.

It's one of the most famous tourist point in Swiss..we took a cable car to engelberg and then 360 degrees rotating cable to reach the mountain... The Swiss Alps experience is brought to life as you adventure up the mountain in the world largest cable car and go over the grassy green hills which turn into snow hills. You reach the top by the largest cable car in the world, it was an awesome experience. At the top you can just stay in the gift shop and lodge area or you can seek adventure on the ice flyer, tube riding, ice cave, and finish with a warm hot chocolate in the restaurant. The views are breathtaking, a must do experience.

Located at 1.5 hours drive away to North from Zurich city. It is one of the best visiting points in Switzerland. There are multiple options to reach the 1st level of the mount Titlis. Via fennicular or by cable car. Fennicular may not drop you to the top, while via cable car, you can easily visit top through different levels. 84 Euros or 100 USD ticket can be used at cable cars, roatator, and Galacier cave as well. There are multiple cafes at different levels of mount Titlis. I would really recommend you to have coffee there. At the end, it is one of the best places I have ever visited.

Mount Titlis is also one of the scenic spots in the Alps, with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. Cable cars are mainly used as transportation. Although they are all cable cars, they are different in space. The latest cable car is the first in the world, it can accommodate 80 people, and it rotates 360 degrees. All the beautiful scenery can be seen from all angles. It does not take much time to climb to the top and enjoy the amazing views. Feel the stunning scenery. There are souvenir shops and restaurants on the top of the mountain for tourists to enjoy delicious food and beautiful scenery. It is a very popular tourist ski resort! If I have the chance, I will definitely visit again next time~

There was not enough snow to ski as this was the beginning of November, but it was definitely worth the 🚠. I have to come back in winter 💟

Great tour given by a very friendly, knowledgeable and talkative monk. We really enjoyed our time there. The church is sensational and definitely worth a visit.

The monastery is only partially public and offers gardening, cheese dairy and court church for free visit. The huge monastery Engelberg right next to the village center is an impressive and well-preserved building from the 15th century. Presumably, there was already a Celtic sanctuary here in the Iron Age. The location in the middle of the valley offers a panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains.

One of my highlights during my visit in Engelberg. This abbey dates from the 12th century. A very appropriate place to relax and enjoy the silence.

Did the tour of the abbey (+-1 hour). It was a Beautiful building but as a non German speaker I would have liked that the guide book would have been printed in the same order that the tour is being done even if I could ask questions afterwards. Also it would have been nice to see some others rooms then only the most important ones like the living quarters and so on..

Beautiful monastery and church. There is a flowershop (not interesting) and you can watch how they produce their own cheese. They sell the cheese too. The church is worth a visit.

I just had the opportunity this afternoon to visit this church and monastery. Both within and without there was attention to detail and beauty. The grounds were adorned with lovely flowers and gardens. Inside the artistry and craftsmanship throughout was breathtaking. There were several beautiful side chapels and alters. The paintings, sculpture, architectural beauty all served to create an atmosphere of dignity and holiness. I would definitely make this one of your must see stops when visiting Engelberg.

A charming town with amazing views. Definitely worth a visit if you want a relaxing stroll for a couple of hours.

Beautiful abbey run by the monks. We actually got a tour of the abbey from one of 20 benedictine monks which are a part of the abbey at present. The tour was given to us in english as majority of the group understood English but can be in German if your group has majority non-English speakers. I don’t think the language is pre defined. But if you speak only english and tour is in German, the monk was willing to mention some facts in English. They were flexible and informal in terms of which language they use. So I dont believe there should be any issues for people who prefer tour in english to attend this tour. Tour cost was a nominal 12CHF and duration was about an hour. Tour included highlights of the abbey like room of virtues, the stunning chapel, library, etc. The center of the abbey with fountains and the gardens is inaccessible to public as they are a private area within the abbey for the monks. There is a lot of history and interesting story about this place which was shared during the tour. Highly recommended and worth the visit!

It is very serene. Beautiful and spiritual.

It is easily approachable by walking from the Bahnhof. They have their timings for the tourist tours, I was there around lunch hours so could not do the tour of the monastery. But, the view of the snow clad mountains from the monastery was spectacular.

The best lake ever. It presents such a beautiful view once you are back from Titlis. Gives an entire change of scene, from snowy mountains to serene lake and landscape. The best.

gorgeous place for wild camping. The lake is filled with glacier water but astonishingly it isn't so cold, we had a great swim (in July)

Amazing location for snowshoeing. The views are spectacular. It’s a medium trail requiring a good level of fitness. A perfect day out to relax and enjoy nature. It is also a spectacular place to visit in the summer for a summer hike. You will not be disappointed with choosing Engelberg as an outing.

Trübsee lake is in between two cable car station when you are visiting mount Titlis. It can be reached via hike or cablecar. I highly recommend to walk around the lake and at the end of your walk take the free boats and try to row in to thr middle. Your efforts will be rewarded and you can relax at the middle!

Beautiful hike from Engelberg to Trübsee with my dog. The scenery is gorgeous, the lake was excellent for swimming in according to my dog😍💦 we actually went twice during our 3-4 days here because it was so nice!

Trubsee is a lake easily reached by cable car from Engelberg on the rote to Mt Titlis. Stopping on the way up or back and walking around the lake is a must. Totally gorgeous landscape

I would definitely recommend you to stroll around the whole lake. You can enjoy different views. If you visit early, you can also use one of 3-4 boats placed on the deck for free

The place is so beautiful, ideal for hiking, biking, skiing (just in the winterseason) or just for a little trip, also ideal for families. You have there many activities for young and old. The food in the restaurant is plentiful and delicious

Amazing hiking place. Stunning views! We were lucky with the weather. We were there on the morning weekend and the entrance was a bit crowded with tourist groups but we rarely see anyone on the hiking trails. Paradise for dogs 🐕

If you want good views and pictures you can just as well walk up to the top observation deck.. in my opinion the views here where better. If you want a bouncy/wiggly/ fun experience you can do the cliff walk

One of the most amazing experiences. A true marvel of engineering using cables cars into the mountains. The most breathtaking views of nature and the valley. The tickets are also so good value for money as it includes all activities there are to offer at the top. Also if you one for Bollywood movies this place is very famous.

Very easy to get there by public transport. The staff at the counter is very helpful and kind. There are many facilities available for children to play there. Toilets, a souvenir shop and a restaurant are also available. Ample car parking is also available.

It was a nice experience, a magnificent view of snow cap mountain and breathtaking lake trubsee. The activities offered is great fun but it takes time so half day trip is best.

Absolutely ridiculous views. We were very lucky with the weather and had a perfectly clear day to enjoy it. The cable car up is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. We got there for the first ride up in the morning and definitely recommend doing that to get the place to yourself. I am scared of heights and it helped so much to be able to do the cliff walk at my own pace with no one else around. Also make sure to check out the glacier tunnel while you are here. There is a free lounge where you can sit and eat your own food so pack a picnic and save a bit of money up the top (food options are limited and $$$)

Amazing place with the cable carts bringing you to the top. We came during mid-September but still very sunny day, don't forget to bring a jacket as it gets colder at the top. Worth visiting and trying the activities as well: zip-line, ice flyer, cliff walk and the ice cave. There are also restaurants to get some food at the top of the mountain.

Spectacular! Incredible views. Extremely cold!! even on an otherwise very mild spring day. Be prepared with hat and gloves and any thermals available. Experience will literally take your breathe away!

Cliff Walk is a must go place when you visited Titlis. It is the highest suspension bridge in Europe & it's completely free. The bridge was a bit more "shaking" than we expected, but we felt it's totally safe due to the high fences on both sides. The view of the Swiss Alps is amazing - but it also depends on the weather too. (It closes during bad weather days anyway) The best view is towards the end of the bridge where there's no high fences & the scenery in front is breathtaking! I have height phobia but I felt completely fine up there (felt great actually) Highly Recommended!

For skiing, i think its amazing place in winter, but in summer not much to do and weather not always great. But if you go in summer do not forget your warm clothes, you might enjoy it more if you warm.

The bridge was closed when I went but the outside area next to it was open. I definitely recommend going up, even if you don't walk the bridge. Well worth the trip up. I would take the rotating gondolas up again no question. It was the best. After breaking through the first cloud layer (if there is one), the view is breath taking.

One of the most important tourist destinations in Switzerland, reached there in morning, it was raining while we reached there but within minutes it was clear, as entry tickets were already purchased so the entry was smooth, the gondola ride was memorable, had lunch in the top of Titles. It was crowded but we were lucky to see almost every attraction there. We travelled in Ice flyer, the hanging bridge etc.

What an experience. Visibility was poor as we came up the first cable car, then as we transitioned at the second station and broke through the clouds, amazing. We didn't ski, we paid for the cars up to Titlis and visited the cliff walk, the flyer and also went snow tubing . Very well organised and worth a visit.

Amazing! The views were stunning, the walk was awesome, short but not too scary and the ice cave was nice and lit up. Get some ice cream from level 3- the best ice cream I've eaten in a long time. Overall a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I made the train ride out.

We were unable to reach the property by phone for 3 hours in late afternoon/ evening regarding our booking, and as a result we had to make another booking at a different property as suggested by Hotels.com customer service. We were promised that Hotels.com would take care of the refund of this booking but Hotels.com keep delaying our refund and shift the blame to this hotel. We are extremely let down and angry with both the property and the hotels.com customer service team’s lack of honesty and responsibility.

Very nice view from our balcon room, the food is very yummy!

I know we had a big group but our table didn't get much service. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as a lot of what we'd been eating in other places. It is set up very nicely though and I could understand coming just for the view you get at one of the window seats.

Beautiful Hotel, well maintained facing to the mountain. We just walked in and Ms Cloudia assisted was very helpful. The view from the balcony was awesome. Over all good experience.

The hotel lobby and main areas like restaurant are well renovated in an alpine style and are very nice. But the rooms and especially bathrooms are very old and badly isolated (cold). There are newer rooms with more modern renovation, but still very cheaply made and not cozy at all. The rooms are all however very clean which makes up for how they look. But I would still expect the whole hotel to be renovated the same way as main areas. Also, restaurant service was bad. Obviously not enough staff, but it can’t be an excuse. We came at 18:30. At 19:00 we complained about not getting a menu and made an order right away when menu came. At 19:45 we got our food. We had a 2y.o. child with us who was starving and getting tired. 1.5h waiting for food is not acceptable for this kind of restaurant. But I must say that staff was very friendly, especially the reception. Location is ok, it’s not so far from center and Ski lifts (15min walk), but it’s not possible to walk in ski boots so far. There is a shuttle bus available. It was a nice stay in general, but I would try a different hotel next time and will definitely not return to a restaurant.

This was the best stay in my entire Europe. The view is blissful and I wish I could have this view every single day. The services is excellent and breakfast yummy. I would definitely visit this place time and time again when I will definitely be in Switzerland.

The hotel is located in such a way that it offers a beautiful view of the mountains. THE SETTLEMENT was successful. You can park your car free of charge next to the hotel. The young guy at the counter explained to us what to see nearby, gave us a discount card and helped carry our suitcases to the room. The room is spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom is small, modest with a shower. Air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee machine no. It's a pity. The decoration of the hotel is simple but interesting. Breakfast for an additional 15 francs per person. Breakfast is minimal but worth the money. This is a restaurant hotel. And so we ordered dinner in advance. The table was located by the window overlooking the mountains. An elderly waiter brought us a menu in German, they didn’t have any other languages. He himself didn’t know English and explained to us in German what to choose and it didn’t matter to him that we didn’t understand him. It was hard for us to choose. For two with my wife, we ordered 2 beers, 1 salad, 1 wine soup, and chose the most expensive main course, hoping that we would definitely not be mistaken. cordon bleu sausages for 46 francs. Ice cream for dessert. We waited a long time for the salad to arrive. It was just a few lettuce leaves and 1 cherry tomato. It is not possible to make this portion smaller even for children and there is no dressing. After another 20 minutes, the soup was brought. Finely chopped vegetables in broth. The taste is interesting but the portion is small. After 30 minutes, the main course was served. Meat fried in breadcrumbs with cheese inside, garnished with chips and a few small pieces of carrots. The dish is not aesthetically decorated in any way, the chips, like in McDonald's, are simply scattered and there is a cutlet nearby. The cutlet was supposed to turn out crispy but it was soft, the cheese just spread inside the meat, this did not improve the taste. The dish is simply no for such money. Ice cream was brought late and not what I ordered. To sum up, I have never seen such service and such food. Is there a professional chef at all? We were in no hurry, but 3 simple dishes to wait 2 hours? The cooking quality is terrible! No respect for customers. Why not translate the menu into English? You accept tourists. I highly recommend not to dine in the hotel restaurant. You can have a beer on the outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains. All things considered, I give this hotel an objectively low rating.

Hi Guys. I would like to give my reviews for this hotel so that you are careful to make your bookings for your vacay stay at this hotel. I had a horrid experience at this hotel. 1. The hotel is not at all location friendly. And i mean it when i say this and there are no uber taxi services and a local taxi will charge you CHF16 for a 4 min drive which i feel is extremely expensive. Unfortunately hotel does not provide free pick and drop services. 2. The staff at the reception is sarcastic. 3. The check out time of the hotel is weirdly 10.30am which is unusual in the country 4. There are no humans you can see around the location and it is extremely dark at 8pm and not a great location 5. Overall it is a disaster hotel and this wrong decision spoiled our holiday.

It was an amazing stay here. The room was perfect. Very spacious, clean and with a balcony with a perfect view. Sauna was good too.The breakfast was continental and good. The staff was very helpful.

Personel was not so professional. Especially the driver that was suppose to drive us to ski lift and back was always angry and not on time( not coming on time but always with 30 min delay which is annoying if you are wet and tired after long day of skiing). In One part of hotel, room 17(I think), was so small and so dark without any natural light.

Great hotel restaurant. The setting is amazing. The inside is decorated with flair and taste. The restaurant had a lovely Terrasse and good size windows if you eat inside. The food is very well prepared and tasty. You can find the engelberg trout, more locale you can not do. The staff is super friendly and competent. I can highly recommend.

The room is clean, the staff is friendly, and the balcony of the room can see the scenery across the way. It is worth recommending.

The view, Bernese alps, the bier, the food. Eating your food here is an experience, that I would recommend to everyone who visit Mount Titlis. Once you enter you have two option, either to sit in the service side : where they do have the people taking your order and serving you the food ( the view might not be so incredible ). Or you sit on the left hand side which is the self service area but the view is just astonishing. Sipping the local bottled bier and watching the incredible valley down is really relaxing. You can see only Bernese Alps all the way through the horizon, till your eyes can see. We had special Panorama Wurst and customised Indian curry of the day. Both did taste good. Specially the Wurst was bursting with the flavors in the mouth. The vegetarian food is available, so no worries for veg lovers. Overall experience was absolutely amazing.

Worth the price for the view of lifetime. The food was not that great though. We had chicken, sausages, fries, Pork Schnitzel. They had good variety of Chili sauces.

The restaurant was two parts. A self-service, which is quite common in on-piste restaurants, and a smaller side with service. The views are amazing, and better on the side with service. Food is typical, pasta with sauce, and fries with sausage, which is all you want really when you are skiing. All in all, an average on-piste restaurant, located at the top of the area, above 3000m

Very good restaurant located on top of the Mountains. Food and beer are so good combination. We can enjoy a very good scenery from the window. Surround by snow and sunlight, the restaurant is at it best place. Service is so good and staff are so nice. We really enjoy everything. Suggest to try if you are there.

Have deep fried chicken here . The taste is good . Until I found a chicken bone inside the basket ! That is so annoyed! Does the left over deep fried chicken has been reused to serve next customer , that is why the chicken bone is inside the basket ?

It's a little fairyland on top of Alps, surrounded by snow and sunlight. Located 3000m above sea-level on Mount Titlis, this restaurant offers a heavenly 360 panoramic  view of the Swiss Alps. Highly impeccable service and delicious food served I must say! The restaurant has two parts, the self service and ala carte. I was very much surprised to see the diversity of delicacies served here especially considering the location of this restaurant. From fries to fried eggs to pastas to Thai food to Indian curries, they have a great selection!  Well maintained and clean. The place is crowded through out the day but if you wait for a while, tables can be easily found. Warm and cozy! Highly recommended!

The server was really rude and he required tip continuously. He's name is Daniel and he only required to us tips. I think we're only Asian girls in the restaurant at that time. The pizza was totally burn. It was terrible.

This is a good restaurant for food, good for drinks, and the service is OK. Some of the staff are very attentive and friendly, whereas others don't make you feel very welcome. A good place to have dinner in Engelberg.

The place was great, amazing pizza but the Italian grey hair waitress was extremely rude. The other waitress was super helpful and courteous but this old waitress just ruined our first time experience. Would not return only because of him, very sad…

this restaurant was our favourite whilst eating out every evening over our week long trip over Christmas 23. We had some lovely food at most places - though a little expensive of course as this is Switzerland. It all came together here for us though. Excellent service, lovely fresh & tasty food - all well presented. Along with some lovely wine. A family with daughters who also enjoyed the evening..

Prices ridiculously high even for Switzerland (I live here, so I know how it works). Tap water at 7 francs. Quality just sufficient for an Italian in the middle of Switzerland. (In Italy with this kind of food you can close the shop after 2 weeks).

We enjoyed the pizza, my wife had cheese and I had sausage. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush. The venue is a good as it gets, walking distance from the train station and next door to the monastery.

Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. A good choice of food. Well priced for Swiss standards. Friendly service with a lovely ambiance in the evening. I would however recommend you book beforehand if it is in the ski season, we managed to squeeze a table for two , they staff were so obliging but had we been a bigger group of people it might have been harder. This will definitely be our go to restaurant when we are in Engelberg. But next time I will book ahead of our trip.

We ordered the ravioli and a polpo alla griglia, they were amazing. Service was also good and kitchen opened until 10pm, perfect for late romantic dinners

Good food. Service was a bit stuffy. Came to the conclusion that restaurants here only actually charge for tap water if you don't order other drinks... As this place did.

Very nice place to go to; we went here after kids' skiing class for an early dinner (5PM on a Saturday). Kids enjoyed their burgers and we enjoyed our Thai curry's. Also our dog was welcome and received a fresh bowl of water. Can recommend 👌

We ordered a burger to share and it was delicious. The portion is good and the service was nice. I highly recommend stopping by even for only drinks. I tried thoer homemade ice tea and it was yummy and unique.

Ended up here with bunch after hiking in the evening. Did not have reservation but the waitress did good accommodating 10-11 people. She was friendly and quick to set tables. Went to washroom and forgot to oder drinks, the guy who came back with others drink order was little surprised to see i don't have a drink and he asked me, what about you? I said I will have Murphy's and he was right on it. I like this kind of service! I had selection starter and chicken burger for main. The burger was good and came with fries and coleslaw. Good quantity and tasted nice! Overall, I liked the restaurant. People who complain about this and that, can always see the menu before entering the restaurant! 🙂

It was nice to find this relaxed bar / restaurant to have dinner with our kids. We were attracted to see some different dishes on the menu - such as ceviche, quesadillas & ramen, which of course we tried along with some other choices. Everything was good & tasty. We had a nice service from several staff that were working during our visit. All good for us.

We had the Yuca-burger with French fries and two different mocktails (alcohol free cocktails). Burgers and fries were very good and we loved the way the food was presented. The mocktails were tasty too, but rather small for CHF 9. The size of the food portion was enough for us. We experienced our waiter - the taller one with blond hair - as very friendly and attentive. The smaller, Spanish waiter on the other hand, did not even care to say "hi/hello" or anything at all. That felt quite odd to us.

Lovely looking place with good food. The burger I had was great and very big. But the crispy duck I had the second time had a rather small portion of meat but it also tastes great.

Really nice and cozy, big restaurant and bar. Great service, hard working staff. The Yuci burger is clearly the restaurants favorite, it appears at every table, also at ours. Nice burger. One downside, as everything in Switzerland, it is highly expensive.

I went here with a group expecting to eat at a Mexican restaurant. It is not a Mexican restaurant but they do serve quesadillas. The service was great. The food was average. I had the Yuci burger. It was not bad. Their beef tartare was quite good. Others in my group had the chicken burger and did not care for it.

Menu makes no sense… could’ve ordered the burger and the truffle fries individually for less than just the burger and a small portion of fries and a tiny salad 😂 But have to be honest the food was awesome.

Settled in for an early Saturday night dinner. The was our first time here and the atmosphere did not disappoint.Had the cheese burger as that was recommended, great taste!, dinner was pricey, 2 burgers, carrot soup, and 2 waters was $102.

The Casa salad was swamped in sauce and the CHF 28 pappardelle where they mix molten Swiss cheese with vegetables questionable in terms of culinary choice. Add 1.5 hour waiting time for the food. Overpriced, not good and poor service

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and dining at their restaurant, and we must say it was an outstanding experience. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, Alpen-style, with comfortable rooms that made us feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The restaurant, in particular, left me speechless. The culinary creations that came out of their kitchen were nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with the finest ingredients, and the flavors were simply divine. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The level of service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. The restaurant manager and he’s assistant are doing an excellent and great job. We are definitely looking forward to come back!!! Thank you guys for everything!!! Well done !!

Great centrally located hotel / wellness / resto in centre of engelberg. Looking forward to staying after we visited in Feb 2020 and sampled excellent food in stubli and restaurant. Unfortunately this time we went with high expectations which were not met. The room was small but lovely - worth close to chf300 per night when the resort was quiet? Not sure it was. Wellness area and staff were lovely. Restaurant was pricey and didn't deliver on starter or main - I had to send my main back and it returned microwaved. The chocolate mouse desert was still (thankfully) superb! Still good but certainly not the excellent we expected and (thought) we paid for.

The food is to die for. And the restaurant is super cozy, with multiple rooms and low ceilings all made of woods. Without mentioning the beautiful mountain views !

Had an amazing time at the Alpenclub hotel. We stayed in the Titlis suite which was somehow bigger than even the photos made it appear. It was very rustic and charming, but the bathroom was modern and even had a heated floor. The restaurant was outstanding and a must visit- dined there twice and absolutely loved both meals. Service from the staff was excellent. Appreciate them making our stay in Engelberg so special

Beautiful, nice and cozy hotel with lots of charm. Room was amazing and rustic, their restaurants are cute, breakfast was delicious and we loved the sauna area, that we used after a long, active day in the mountains. Thanks for everything, Alpenclub Team!

Review for the restaurant: We had a great time at the restaurant Alpenclub. It is a very welcoming atmosphere in swiss style. The food was amazing and so was the dessert. Staff was very friendly especially one young, german man. Had very great chats with him, thank you. Prices are moderate for Switzerland

We had a dinner at this place. We picked the Fondue with the Charcuterie, it was really great. Wine was not good. A bit pricey overall but good food and really cosy place.

The hospitality is more than amazing ! The food in the restaurant by the attic is unexplainable… the rooms are artistic and super amazing … the hotel is a piece of art … it was built is 1780 and hosted the first Rico in Switzerland! Special thanks to Emanuel who hosted us from the begging till the end ❤️🤗

Coziest Swiss experience in Engelberg! Great and fresh saunas with a popular restaurant also connected to the hotel. Staff is awesome and very helpful, we felt like at home 😍
