My first time here and I was really impressed. Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was something else! Starters were superb especially the lamb chops, main dishes were delicious, rich and full of flavour. Nice decor and a comfortable feeling about the place. Will definitely be going back. 🙂

This is the second visit with friends we have made here, it was really good last time, this time was even better. You have to have the onion bhaji starter, they are the best I have ever had. One mate went for a chicken curry on the hot side, the other went for the butter chicken, both were really impressed, I myself like a fish curry, which was truly excellent, nicely Spiced to a madras strength of heat. The staff are polite and attentive, but not that annoying level of hanging around your table. If you go here I can't see you being dissapointed, decent pricing for what can only be described as top quality food and service.
Richard Cliffe — Google review
Not for me Ordered a takeaway and had very high expectations when paying just shy of £27 for curry rice poppodoms and a naan for 1 person Chutneys didn’t include a mint yoghurt and wasn’t a fan of the tomato based chutney Mango one tasted fresh and was nice Naan was small, oily and cold…it tasted really buttery as well which I wasn’t a fan of I had the lamb rogan Josh and I understand that this is a more ‘traditional’ Indian but it was so bland lacked any spice or flavour Far too mild for me The lamb lacked flavour but was tender I couldn’t finish it Pilau Rice was really nice so that was good For the price it doesn’t deliver the expected wow factor unfortunately

Arrived at 7pm as a party of four which was reserved. Was shown to table etc and drinks ordered. We ordered popadoms to share and they promptly arrived where we then ordered our main dishes…… we then waited a further hour and a half for our main dishes totally unacceptable and even had to watch other tables that arrived after us have their food served…. Really disappointed will not be returning service very poor

First visit there but very impressed. Lovely management, service with smile. Quality of food really good and good prices too. Specially thanks to the girl Divya she deal with us nicely. Highly recommended to this Restaurant. Thanks

2 Beautiful curry's but when you order poppadoms they don't serve onions only 2 very small pots of mango. They did replace the small pots when empty. Lovely restaurant and pleasant atmosphere and staff.
Al Hutcheson — Google review
When you want really tasty Indian food, but not your usual takeaway curry. The food here is exquisite, just beautiful! There's a real emphasis on flavour, not just spicy heat! Absolutely delicious food, considerate service and a good atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Betty Jennings — Google review
Used to be a huge fan of the butter chicken, and really enjoyed it a couple of times. Seems the recipe has now changed, it is more like tomato soup, the lovely smoky flavour missing. We tried it this week to see if it was back to its previous taste, but it wasn’t. Worst of all it gave me food poisoning, and has made the last few days very difficult.
Hannah B — Google review
It's unbelievable to me that in 2024 its still OK to be openly racist. I've eaten here before so that adds to how disappointed I am to see K2H posting all over social media banning a entire race of people simply because they had a bad experience with a individual party that they assumed to be Travellers. The hatred the posts have encouraged is disgusting and the fact K2H only edited the post after they were told they may get into trouble legally for being racist is terrible. We won't be back.
Charlotte Wilshire — Google review
Service very slow. Curry all taste like tomato and too much onion. Overpriced. Won’t be going again. Visited 4/2/23 party of six

Excellent new years meal! Food was fantastic
J T — Google review
Not your usual 'curry house' fare. This is first rate Indian food, served in classy surroundings, by very friendly and attentive staff. The Barrah Champ (lamb) starter was the tenderest lamb I've ever tasted - a must try!

This restaurant is always my favourite restaurant in town. I will say this is the best Indian restaurant of Northwest. The staff is really friendly. Their hospitality is very nice. Dishes are really good. I will recommend to all Indian curry lover. Try it, you will love it.

Bar
Sandbach town centre is home to several impressive bars and restaurants, offering a diverse range of cuisines. From traditional British fare at establishments like the Wheatsheaf hotel and The Old Hall with its charming Tudor facade, to Italian delights at Raffaeles, authentic Thai dishes at Phantong, and vibrant Cuban flavors at Cubar, the options are endless. Additionally, Bar Six, DV8, and The Cobbles provide an excellent atmosphere for engaging conversations.
Our local and favourite place to pop for a drink! My mum just had her 60th birthday drinks and nibbles here. It’s the perfect venue for a birthday event or gathering. The food was amazing, drinks perfect and just a lovely cozy ambiance. Big thanks to Steve and Jack for being such wonderful hosts.
Laura Whittaker — Google review
Went to a private function, Sister in law's birthday get together. A good choice of drinks, and the food provided was very nice and plenty of it.

This is a lovely cocktail bar on the Sandbach main square. We visited during winter with the snow outside which made this bar even more perfect. There was a beautiful open fire, the venue had a quirky interior and a lovely ambiance. The cocktails were great and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

By far our favourite place to go, ever changing delicious chpice of beers, wine and cocktails. Amazing Thursday events. Fabulous outdoor area for a drink of the sun. Bar snacks are 👏🤟🫶

Really fantastic little bar. Great cozy atmosphere with the fire going and lovely staff. We saw they were advertising "Pop Cuis" serving small plates of delicious food. We tried them all and loved every one of them. Loved it.
Peter Cossons — Google review
An absolute gem of a bar with a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. A good selection of craft beers that are rotated regularly and quality wines and cocktails are available too. Also has themed food nights which are highly enjoyable as well, however book early to avoid disappointment. What’s not to like?😍
Susan Manzanares — Google review
Interesting little bar, seems quite small but never actually struggled for seating which is nice. Wide selection of ales, beers, gins and probably other less interesting alcohol! The draught ales seem to change fairly regular and always something interesting. It is pretty pricey though, we do enjoy nipping in for one but in these times can’t afford to sink a sesh in here.

Lovely bar and staff. Great service and good selection of Gins! This place made me a gin lover!

Restaurant
Noughts and Crosses Pizzeria is renowned for serving the finest burgers in the UK, making it a standout among global travelers and locals alike. Its exceptional taste, quality, and generous portions set it apart from other lackluster establishments in the country. The establishment is managed by a skilled Polish team that easily outshines the competition. Additionally, this versatile eatery offers delightful pizzas alongside its burger selection. The restaurant provides pleasant dining experiences with attentive service and an inviting atmosphere.
Went to the white lion in Congleton and the pizza was provided by noughts and crosses and I have to say the staff and food where phenomenal. Group of 12 and no issues for them at all, can't recommend them enough!!: Rashid was the man and his pizza was amazing

My partner and I had a late valentines treat here after we tried their waffles a few weeks previous. It is a lovely little place with nice decor and the open kitchen with the smell of 00 flour and sourdough baking made me anticipate what was to come. The staff were attentive. Sometimes you can feel rushed but they were quick on their feet, problem solvers and really polite. We shared some pulled pork fries to start which were fantastic. I usually don't go for loaded fries because they are usually soggy but these were crisp with perfectly slow cooked pork to match. Our pizza had a few hurdles getting to us, with the first one catching on the pizza oven and the one being sent out missing a few of our ad ons. They stated they would remake the pizza but we were okay with our pizzsand said they didn't need to remake it. The pizza was absolutely delight. It is light, with complex layer of flavours, a fantastic tomato base and a pizza base that was so good my partner ate the crusts which is something I have never witnessed. The waffles were delicious. The waffles have an incredible rich buttery taste and fab crunch with toppings to match. Simple ,tasty delights to end the meal. When it came time to settle we got a lovely surprise with a free pizza to take home to make up for the issues they had with our pizza. Really sweet and not needed at all for our return business. The table next to us had these amazing looking burgers which we will try next time. Finally, the lindors at the end were a welcome treat as someonenever likes the mints or sweets at the end to be able to have one finally joyful bit
Zoey Green — Google review
Ordered today, this used to be the best pizza in Sandbach, unfortunately not the same quality as it used to be, pizza was very thin and because of this the base was really soggy with the juice off the meat, and very little cheese, lots of meat tho, had to throw most of it away as it was really soggy and really not nice, I hope they improve I will not be ordering again.
Matthew Upton — Google review
Pleasant pizza restaurant. Good service and atmosphere. I had the margarita here. Overall nice and tasty, always good to have freshly made pizza along with some red wine as a Friday treat. The only negative is the tomato base sauce, it lacked presence/ flavour. I’d definitely come back though. They do delivery too.
Jenny Meyah — Google review
Not only Fantastic pizza's made from scratch and cooked in there in restaurant oven, but amazing burgers.
Philip Rogers — Google review
We ordered two pizzas for takeaway it was my first visit. The pizzas were incredible. Italian style and delicious despite one of them having a Gluten free base. The restaurant looked small and intimate but had a lovely relaxed atmosphere when I walked in. I'll definitely visit again. Next time I'll eat in.
Eda Adams — Google review
Really nice, fresh, homemade pizza. Best in the area.
Martin A — Google review
Incredible intimate restaurant… we would love to have something like this locally! A group of four of us stumbled across the restaurant through Google, having traveled to the area for a best friend’s wedding (and eaten a very average lunch at the hotel we were staying at!) we were met by a lovely interior and an amazing team, who were incredibly welcoming and the best pizza the four of us foodies have eaten in a very long time, resulted in an incredibly memorable evening… the drinks were amazing too! Thank you so much for an amazing evening- we cannot recommend the food, drink, service and venue enough.

Came for my sons birthday with 9 kids and 5 adults. Food was amazing. Staff were great with all the kids. Fantastic service. Will definitely be back. Thanks for looking after us.
Dawn Taylor — Google review
The burgers are deffintally the best in the Uk we traveled globally and traveled the UK flat and this spot has the best burgers in the UK. Taste quality amount the service was better than the standard terrible none service you get in the UK, run by a Polish team which wins hands down. This burger/pizza spot can beat the best uk burger restaurant in any place in the uk

The establishment is well-known for catering to different dietary preferences, including vegan options. DV8 provides excellent service and creates an enjoyable ambiance for its customers. It is highly recommended for those seeking a vibrant and memorable bar experience in the area.
Fantastic venue, with amazing food. They have a fantastic cocktail menu if your wanting a few cocktails, alternatively they also do the most refreshingly delicious mocktails, perfect for just a little afternoon drink, for those non drinkers or the designated drivers out there. I didn't have one today, but they also do the most amazing cheesecake.
Craig Quigley — Google review
Staff are very friendly and do not mind well behaved dogs. Which was nice as I can take mine. Food delicious, but just a little expensive for me. But I treat myself now and then to their delicious pasta meals. Recommend going 5/6pm if you like a quieter time for a meal.
j wheatley — Google review
Absolutely fab place. Booked it for a Sunday afternoon baby shower. Wow, the food was lush & plentiful. We were all stuffed & there was such a good selection of both savouries & cakes. We had chicken croquettes, the most amazing mozzarella sticks, hot & cold sandwiches. They catered so well for one of the group who was vegan. Cocktails were lovely too! Great service & ambience. I look forward to returning & would definitely recommend!

We have stopped here for lunch on Sunday. The young service was fine and served food as well. They have a vast variety of drinks. For sure, I do recommend stopping by.

Visited DV8 for lunch on a busy Thursday, while staying with family in Sandbach. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect going in - from the name I wasn't sure if it was a pub or a cafe or something else. But the service was excellent from the moment we walked through the door, and the food was excellent. My grilled chicken sandwich was excellent value, and my son's kid's meal was tasty and filling. Overall I'd definitely come back. If I was making one criticism, it would be nice to have a wider range of beers on offer. But then maybe cocktails are more their thing?

My husband and I went for dinner for the first time here and we were blown away by the quality of the food. Great service and will definitely go again! Fantastic time there🤩🤩🤩🤩 really good food for a great price!

The town center of Sandbach is also home to a vibrant hospitality scene with an array of bars and restaurants offering diverse cuisines.
Stayed for one night. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Although our room wasn't quite ready, staff were extremely apologetic and offered a complimentary bottle of prosecco and wavered the early check-in fee. The food in the restaurant was delicious, as was breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the temple spa toiletries and other little touches provided. We will most certainly be staying again. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Booked for a Sunday lunch with friends here and enjoyed a very pleasant meal. The Sunday menu you can choose from starters, main & desserts, so £13 for the main. 3 of us chose the Sunday roast which was very good as you get good slices of meat. I would have liked some green vegetables but it didn't spoil the meal. Service was very good even though it was busy and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely return

Beautiful hotel, slightly on the more expensive side but did include breakfast. small car park, was worried about not being able to park but had a member of staff advise further, the staff were super friendly and helpful through our whole stay. Lovely room had everything we needed. would return! :)

Rooms are lovely I was in the stable lock but there was no bottled water, biscuits empty, no complimentary toiletries but you can buy them from reception. Dog friendly-but no outside bins, asked reception what I should do with the poop bag and was told to take it home with me.

Very nice place, great for food but not eaten there myself. Lovely seating area. The beer selection is much better now, very good pint of Guinness. Highly recommended and dog friendly too.

Went for an early evening meal, had not booked. No problem, very hospitable and courteous. Nice table, clean, menu varied. Food delicious, will certainly recommend and return.

A wonderful pub/restaurant. We stopped for a bite to eat with no booking and were accommodated without hesitation. The staff were all lovely but service was a little slow - we did have to ask where our desert was but we did seem to be eating during a shift changeover. However the food was worth the wait. The steak sandwich was beautiful and the brownie desert was one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely be back.
Alvechurch Dog Grooming — Google review
Nice outdoor area, maybe adding a couple of outdoor sofas would be nice as not everyone likes high bar stools. Good food and selection of drinks. Small portions of chips for the price, nice though. Friendly staff although got our order wrong, was corrected after a little while. Will be returning soon
Martha Pedley — Google review
Amazing hotel and restaurant. Stayed here many years but never ate in the restaurant until today. OMG my rump steak was cooked to perfection and so tender and delicious. I would say it’s better than the sirloin steak I have in Ivy Manchester. Will definitely be back when I stay here next time.
Ing Chen — Google review
Having stayed here for two separate nights whilst house hunting in the area, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are absolutely fabulous - and kept spotlessly clean by Josie and Keeley. Spacious, well appointed, brilliant showers and with everything you could need including robes. The design of the rooms is spectacular. And extremely good breakfast, freshly made for you, and open to requests such as omelettes. And great value too. Sandbach is a lovely town, and the Wheatsheaf is the icing on the cake.
Helen Chambers — Google review
As soon as we entered the pub it felt warm and friendly. The staff were all excellent and very professional. We stayed over in room 7. Albeit the room is small we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor is very tasteful and the bathroom very nice. A comfy bed made for a good nights sleep. The transfer option to pecks worked very well and is an excellent service. We had a very nice breakfast this morning and an easy checkout. I would recommend the pub and will be back . Thankyou
Julia Causer — Google review
Great place for an evening meal. We stopped in without a booking and after a short wait were seated. The group had the rump steak, beef & guiness pie and the lamb shank. All were delicious. They had a variety of beers on tap. We tried a selection of the IPAs. Service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended.
Justin Williams — Google review
The room was tasteful, clean, and very comfortable. The shower room was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, served by polite, helpful staff. Request a rear facing room if you are sensitive to outside noise.
Nick Kennard — Google review
Stayed the night! Great food, amazingly friendly staff! Rooms are very hot in summer as no Air conditioning but that's a minor point as they're amazing rooms!
Bri Price — Google review
Booked in. Room lovely. Ordered food. Waited ages. Food was awful. Burnt burger bun, wilted rocket, burnt chicken burger. Politely pointed it out to the manager who was incredibly defensive despite agreeing the food wasn't great. Needs training in how to respond to customers who have every right to expect the food to be edible. Ruined my stay. Such a disappointing experience at a lovely hotel.
Susan Vaughan — Google review
Perfect location to visit a friend in the town. I had room 16 absolutely delightful with a huge bathroom with walk in shower. We ate a delicious dinner and breakfast was a real treat. The staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
Sandra Coquio — Google review
Food took a little while to arrive but looked like it had been on a hot plate rather than freshly cooked. Scrambled eggs were poor. Service was ok. Easy to park and a very central location in town.
andrew coxill — Google review
A lovely location and ambience with some nice drinks, although the ales can be a bit questionable, probably due to under usage. Staff are friendly and helpful. It can get busy at weekends and during function days. I think the company needs to keep the red wines away from the heat of lighting, but again it creates a nice show.
Andy Jackson — Google review
Went for Sunday lunch. Nice roast dinner, but no veggie alternative. If you don’t eat meat you can choose pasta or curry. Desert was great, as was the service which was fast and friendly.
Alastair Winner — Google review
We had a lovely meal with the girls there. The food was good, but it was a bit expensive. The place is in a great location, lovely restaurant, nice service. There's even a separate vegan menu. But at the end we were still finishing our bottle of wine after the meal, and I think we had waitress asking ask 5 times if there’s anything else we would like to have, almost rushing us through the door. I'm sure it was meant to be caring but it didn't come across this way. But I would recommend it.
Anna Smithers — Google review
I've added a 3* middle of the road rating because we never actually went. My wife and I were working on two laptops, her booking the room and me the restaurant. The latter worked perfectly first time but the room booking would not complete despite 3 attempts. We then phoned but nobody picked up. So we cancelled the restaurant and went somewhere else.
Steve Crome — Google review
We stayed in their room for a Friday night. It was a great experience. The food in the bar was great. We had a shared plate from the farm and some drinks to go with it. The service was great and breakfast was nice as well. Overall we are very satisfied with our experience.
