Had the 8 course tasting menu which had really nicely thought out small portions and was delivered in a timely manner.

Nice place where you can experience a variety of peculiar food. Atmosphere is OK, when we visited around 8 on Thursday it was very quiet and few people present.

I usually choose very carefull where I eat but this place was a total fail compilation. Starting with the prices for the weekend menu that start at 40€, almost all the meat we ordered was raw and the rest of the food tasteless. 4.7 stars for pictures with beautiful food!? Too bad I can't eat pictures.

One of the top meals in the region in a great family restaurant. The food was great — we ordered the beet tartare, seafood pasta, solomillo steak with foie gras salad, and the bacon wrapped scallop — and the desserts were out of this world. In addition, the service was great and staff was friendly. I strongly recommend it.

Absolutely excellent! One of the best culinary experience I have had in Spain. If you are in Donosti or anywhere around, do not hesitate in visiting Kirkilla Enea!

It was quite a disappointing experience. We had booked months in advance attracted by the great reviews but it did not live up to the expectations. Although the service was really friendly and polite, servings were ridiculously small in the starters (specially mine!) and some of the main courses were alright but definitely not worth the price. Desserts were probably the best part but we would have loved a chocolate cake/pastry among the options.

If I could rate this amazing restaurant a 6/5 I would. This cozy eatery offers delicious local food presented in a beautiful way. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

If you are visiting the Vasco Country, you can not lose the most amazing gastronomic experience ever……. This place is located in a beautiful area, it is surrounded for history, culture, flavors and more. This restaurant has everything that you have been looking for: quality, flavors, service, good wine, not expensive at all, attended by its owners and the most important “the chef” Xabier Zabala.

Food was good. They offer whisky cake and Irish coffee as desserts, which were very good.

Lovely lunch - menu de dia 15 euro for 3 courses including wine and bread. Great value and excellent meal. Staff very helpful and friendly despite my limited Spanish. Highly recommended. Anchovies were particularly good.

I could easily say this was the best meal we had in Spain. From our party of six two decided for the lunch especial ordering just one but it was enough for two and then some. Sorry I can't remember what it included but everything was delicious. My partner and I went for de bife de buey. It was heaven on Earth. The service was very attentive even though the place was packed. It seemed to me that is where the locals go. Across the street was a Michelin star restaurant but I am sure we made the right decision even for the wallet.

The place is always bustling, and rightfully so, as their food is truly fantastic. However, I do find the tables to be a bit too close together, and unfortunately, they don't have gluten-free bread unless requested 24 hours in advance.

The dishes we ate (soup, turbot) were rather tasteless. The quality did not match the many (positive) reviews. Disinterested service.

Amazing! A must try. I recommend the fish soup and the fish to share from the grill. Amazing taste, very friendly service, nice family atmosphere, even though from outside it doesn't look cosy. I really want to go back once I am in Zarautz again.

We are here the other day and had a really lovely meal for a great price. We were initially going to have the set menu but they only do this until 1 pm so we just chose something off the main menu. We had the chiperones which were delicious and then we had the tail of the meluza which was devine followed by the chocolate coulant. The wine was delicious and a great price. The service was friendly and we thoughrally enjoyed our meal there and will definitely return in the future. Jane and Juan

Really great value lunch menu: 3 courses plus bottle of water, 750ml of cider & coffee for €13/person. Very good, no-nonsense dishes - although take care not to accidentally order the tripe stew (callos) if you're not into that! The a la carte choices other customers were eating also looked great. Still serving at 3:30pm when we left so great if you are looking for a late lunch!

This place... It is amazing. Now, I know this is famous for the Txuleta, however, I am a vegetarian and I still had a perfect meal. It's a cosy place with a typical family running it. You'll feel at home. Not just because of the nice atmosphere, but you have to share one big meal with the people sitting next to you and across you! I have heard the Txuleta is simply amazing, I have been talking to a lot of non-vegetarians. I could see it looked delicious. The vegetarian option, however, is just as good. I guarantee you that. For pescatarians there is a big chunk of tender fish, for example. Also... This place is known for the famous apple cider. You can catch it yourself when it spouts out of huge barrels. I'm sorry to say that I can't give more information about this as I do not drink beverages containing alcohol. In conclusion: whether you are a meat lover or not, you will love this place.

Love the mixed salad and txuleta! It was a long time ago but the food is great.

A unique chance to experience Basque Grill ! We came on a Saturday evening and it was marvelous !! The place is not touristic at all. We enjoyed both the pork chops and the steak along with some lettuce salad. I hope I revisit it again in the future. Congrats for everything !

Rip off! We paid €88 just for the chuleta for 3 persons. And €30 for all the rest. The chuleta was in one piece consisting of 50% bone, 25% fat and only 25% meat. So €44 for a bone you would give to a dog. The friendly young owner appears to want to make money fast and easy of stupid tourists?

We only visited the restaurant. The location is great, with a unique view of the coastline, surrounded by the garden and flowers. Food is very tasty, we had grilled fish was very good.

A lovely place with high-quality food, friendly service and stunning views of Zarautz and the surrounding area. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood, it's definitely worth popping there ;)

We stayed at the hotel. It just recently opened. Everything is clean, new, and uniquely designed. It felt like an upscale boutique hotel but with less amenities. The grounds are lovely and the view is beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and the service was as well. We accidentally went through the restaurant instead of the Hotel entrance and Hector, the receptionist made us feel welcome, even though guests were clearly surprised.

UNFRIENDLY No sign of any hospitality in the whole place whatsoever. Signs everywhere telling you what you can’t do and what they won’t do for you. No idea why anyone would want to stay here or eat here. The view is lovely so I recommend bringing your own sandwiches.

Food was good, service terrible . Took 25 minutes to bring us a beer , coffee was cold, and we ordered Expresso but got cortado And when we paid, they didn't give us our change but, just took it Overall , great view, terrible experience

Amazing views. Food was really great. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience having dinner at Berazadi Berri. The grilled squid and monk fish were among our favorites. We all loved the place and can’t wait to come back.

4.5/5 stars from me. View was breathtaking, food was amazing. Wine super cheap and local. However we had to wait 25 mins before getting our order. I recommend bakailozko piper beteak! That's the peppers on the pic. 10/10

Beautiful sunset, food was good but service still has room for improvement. Taking orders sooner, serving drinks faster and as soon as we finished our meal they seemed to have forgotten we were there and dessert took forever to come.

This place is absolutely fabulous, the burgers are amazing. Its super easy to order, all you have to do is fill in what you would like to have on your order. Is all very easy to understand. The place is nicely decorated with a beach laidback lovely place to chill after hitting the beach. I would recommend pan casero for the bun. Mele mele is definitely a place to go in zarautz 🤙

Pretty tasteless to be honest, 15 euros for a very basic burger, I get the idea that you can choose what ingredients go on your burger, but they must have some signature sauce as a base…

Burgers are ok but during the summer time it gets quite busy, be prepared to wait for a long while for a table

I must say that the service of this place was below expectations. After ordering they served each of the burgers with a 15 minute interval which resulted in all of watching one person eat at a time. They also messed up my order completely but they did change it. Don't take the homemade bun. One expects a freshly baked lovely bread but gets a few days old piece of brick. Not a good time, not nice 👎

Very nice and cheap place if you want to grab a burger or sandwich. I am not the biggest fan of build your own burger menus but nevertheless the food was good and the staff very friendly. I am not 100% sure but i think they dont close their kitchen either so this is one of the places between 4pm and 8pm where you can actually still get some food 🤣 Also if you dont speak spanish there is an english menu and the staff speaks english very well!
