Pozo Azul in Minca is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, featuring a series of cascades, natural pools, and scenic trails set in a forested valley. While the entrance is reportedly free, there have been conflicting reports about an entrance fee. Visitors are advised to be cautious about strong currents in the main part of the area and to avoid swimming in certain areas. The site tends to get crowded on Sundays but can be more peaceful later in the day or early morning.
Really worth checking this place out. I came here in the evening when it was a lot quieter. I would recommend going later in the evening or early on the morning as it's a lot less busy. The waterfall is amazing and the water is just the right temperature. Overall I would highly recommend this place and will be returning
Calum Taylor — Google review
Very nice waterfall. Would recommend either going nice and early or later on in the day due to it filling up with tourists.
Matt Summerell — Google review
I don't really know to be honest. After all the hype I heard about it I was kinda dissappointed when we arrived. Yes it is a cool place... but is it really that special? Not really in my opinion.
Thijs Kuepers — Google review
This place is a must visit in Minca!! It's not clear if they charge an entrance fee or not. They didn't charge me but a British couple I met told me they had to pay. Is not allowed to swim in the first part of Poco Azul. Currents are very strong on the main part and the mini pool on the top. There are several sellers offering snacks and local food.
Deric Lima (Zuka) — Google review
Very coool place to go swimming. The secret is to go very early in the morning and to be there at 8 because after all the tourists are coming and you cannot enjoy it. Be careful it’s a river so it is quite called in the morning.
Julien Chemin — Google review
6000 COP entrance fee, cash only Not too busy Very nice tranquil area, water was lovely and refreshing after the walk there
Grainne Fennelly — Google review
The water is nice and cool - a welcomed joy after a long hike. The place gets pretty crowded, though, so I didn't stay long. I think the locals use the word "waterfall" quite loosely - this is the second waterfall I checked out in two days that doesn't quite fit the bill in my mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ some guys were jumping into the water so I suppose it is a mini waterfall. Either way, people were having a good time hiding from the heat.
Lucy — Google review
Very touristic area with a rather unspectacular waterfall. The road to Pozo Azul is not ver good, but you can still take a motorbike or motortaxi to get there. Parking is 2000$ COP. The area has some food stalls and you can walk around to a higher area to jump down. The water is very cool, and it gets super crowded - so if you want to be their alone, go early - but be sure the water will be very fresh. It‘s okay, but if you have seen waterfalls before this is not really interesting or in any way beautiful.
Christian Wisniewski — Google review
Nice enough place to have a quick dip. It does get crowded, if you climb past the first 2 or 3 pools it's less crowded. But can be a bit tricky to climb/walk to. We walked from mundo neuvo Lodge, which took about an hour and a half. Beautiful walk down! Really liked that you don't have to pay to get in. Makes a nice change!

The Lazy Cat is a great restaurant that offers a variety of food with friendly and attentive staff. It's busy and popular in Minca, so it's definitely worth checking out. You can choose from Mexican to Asian cuisine, and both were delicious.
Visited Lazy Cat while visiting Minca with the family from the States. I read of this place while I was doing some research. At first I thought it was only a burger restaurant but they have much more. Andrea was our server and she was great and very attentive. Definitely stop here. I highly recommend the ceviche!
KD San — Google review
It is a nice and not too expensive place to go. They offer hamburgers, wraps, sandwiches, steaks and vegan food. Additionally, the have natural juices and lemonades. Perfect balance between price and flavor, and the place is very well decorated
Jose De la Hoz Polo — Google review
I wanted to try the portobello burger, which sadly was out of stock that day. So I went for the meat option, and the patty was way to dry for my taste. The mushroom sauce would be great - if they would not put ketchup in the burger as well. I went for a second try and got the pad Thai, which was pretty good. A little to much sauce, but the closest to the original I found so far in Colombia.

Beautiful place, nice outdoor dining area, food was very nice. They helped arranged some cake & candles as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. I’d give them 6 stars if I could!

It was a wonderful place to grab a bit to eat in Minca. The patio faces a small creek. The server was great, the drinks (limonada de coco) were exceptional, and the food was really amazing. Bonus for the cute kitty that sat by our table.
Justin Wooden — Google review
Great place in Minca for a coffee and some great food. Fantastic food and fantastic staff, very busy little place in the heart of the town with very helpful members of staff. I would definitely recommend this place for some food before or after a trip to one of the numerous waterfalls.
Conner Regan — Google review
The service was excellent! The food was delicious, especially the pepper steak – the meat was very tender. It's a great spot to stop for a meal after a strenuous 2-hour hike, especially in scorching temperatures reminiscent of an oven.
Wilson Kao — Google review
Fantastic menu with lots of different tastes - THAT ALL WERE GREAT. You can choose from mexican to asian cuisine and way more. We went there twice for dinner because it is the best one in Minca.
Jonathan Ferber — Google review
The burger, drinks and tacos were good. Poke and cheesecake weren't good. French fries of the burger was awful. Atmosphere, staff and sitting was nice.
Sean K — Google review
The Lazy Cat has a nice seating area out back by the river, so you’re not eating your food up close to the busy and noisy street. The superfood salad was really good, I loved the tzatziki dip and the addition of the cashew nuts. The real downer on our experience was waiting 40 minutes for the bill, despite asking more than one waitress.
Lauren Waring — Google review
The food did not disappoint. We got the ceviche to start and it was the largest portion of ceviche I’ve ever seen, and extremely good. I got a steak that was also great. I would give this place a higher review but unfortunately it felt like a place only catering to white tourists, instead of having its own Colombian soul. And the staff paid no mind to your experience. I wouldn’t say they were rude but certainly not friendly or accommodating.
Richie Trent — Google review
Food was entirely forgettable. Overcooked and bland. They have a nice outdoor patio overlooking the river and have apparently decided that frees them from the obligation of creating edible eats. So if you just want somewhere to hang out and get a drink with a nice outdoor patio, this is a good enough place. If you want a good meal, look elsewhere.
j whoopi — Google review
Thank you all for the reviews and pics♥️♥️ Was my first choice after reading and definitely best find in Minca :D We couldn't get enough of the food. Everything on the menu was excellent, fresh and great quality. Many vegetarian options and large selection of beverages. The staff was very lovely and the vibe was great! When it's busy it takes a while to get the food but it's absolutely worth waiting! Reasonable prices and large portions 🍒🌸🧚‍♂️

I went there with my boyfriend 2 times and it was perfect! The service was number one, the drinks were really good and the food was perfect!! I recommend it if you want a good dinner from A to Z.

Pad Thai and orange chicken were really good, and limonada de coco hit the spot! Great atmosphere, it was a slower Tuesday downtown so we even had the lower dining deck to ourselves (hardly any music, perfect!). Plan on returning for a burger and shake!

Duni Cafe is a charming spot located in the small town of Minca, offering a menu that would easily fit into any modern city setting. The cafe prides itself on its locally sourced, farm-to-table offerings and is a quiet haven for travelers to enjoy freshly baked bread and coffee while making use of the only functioning WiFi in town. The cafe serves a full breakfast and lunch menu, along with homemade breads and ice cream, all made from fresh ingredients.
What a great find! For those who are vegan/ vegetarian, this is a great option right in town! I had numerous items from their menu and everything was so delicious! Their ingredients taste so fresh and everything in made from scratch! I absolutely loved their homemade grain bread and chocolate peanut butter( even bought these to go). And they also have the most delicious chai latte!! The atmosphere also is so peaceful as it is in Minca!
Jo Sensi — Google review
I would like to say the food was great, and the staff was awesome! My Spanish is terrible, and she was more than happy to speak to me in English. I had the chicken and Chipotle sandwich, and a pineapple juggo.
travis mahaffey — Google review
Duni Cafe is a nice place to share a meal (alone works too !!). They have great drinks, I had their Duni drink with Ginger, which was awesome, and a Smoothie. They have different alternatives for vegetarians and vegans, offer a lot of different drinks and plates. The pastries are also awesome, I tried the brownie and the chocolate cake, both awesome.

Loved it! Came here 3 times. The arepas and homemade bread are delicious. Service was much better during the day, the waotress was lovely.

Great place with good services and healthy food options. They have a tiny little shop with nice products like natural insect sprays.

Lovely place with nice cappuccino's and carrot cake. The owner was very nice and kind, she had a glow of happiness around her. Definitely would recommend! We're coming back later today for another pastry.

Delicious food, fresh and filling. Good service, the place was full for lunch but got the food quickly. The iced coffee was nice and strong! The atmosphere is very nice and tranquil.
greta malisauskaite — Google review
Wow, one of the best places I've eaten in months. veggie, vegan and gluten free options. Nice staff, good tunes. But the FOOD tasted so good, so much flavour! Their brownie and vegan gluten free muffins were soooo good! Not the cheapest or biggest potion but it tastes so good you won't mind.
Keeva — Google review
Some of the best vegan, veggie, and food options in general! My favorite was the chipotle chicken sandwich — delicious!! The bread is baked fresh from Miga bakery. Their cappuccino and chai tea latte was also really nice. You can tell their ingredients are fresh. Highly recommend!!

Lodge achtig hotel. Beautifully situated on a very steep slope in a horseshoe shape. Not suitable for people with mobility problems. Beautiful nature, saw toucans several times during breakfast. Too many birds to mention

It's a nice forestry concept, however it's too close to the highway so it's noisy from 5am on. The breakfast was not so great, not even vegan or tea options... we considered it overpriced in high season.

Very great place with a nice view and good intimacy. The houses are very charming.

We traveled the northern towns in Colombia for 10 days. Minca, cartagena, barranquilla, and Santa marta. This was hands down the best place we stayed during the entire trip. Ivan was absolutely wonderful. He helped us with recommendations and was there to answer all the questions we had (bonus he speaks great English). Thanks for everything Ivan!

Pros: sweet people at the restaurant (La Tangara) and good food, nice breeze at night, sweet housekeeping staff, well-netted beds, comfortable beds/pillows, convenient walk to town, good view and nice hammocks on the balcony. Cons: Wifi is not consistent or strong enough for Zoom calls if you plan on working, noise from the road right below cabins was very loud from 5/6am on as well as neighbors and nearby hostels' music (it was Christmas week), reception staff is unfriendly and seemed bothered to help us, constant sewer smell from the bathroom covered up by pineapple essential oil sticks, plumbing problems kept the water off for our last nite there and into the next day, and if you don't like bugs this isn't the place for you as you will have many in your room. Wouldnt go back.
Lisa Welden — Google review
There are only 10 cabins there beautifully placed in middle of jungle. Wake up to beautiful sounds of birds and take a nice walk to their restaurant for breakfast.

My girlfriend and I recently visited the hotel and loved it. Such beautiful nature all around it and this hotel does a great job of blending in with this nature and respecting it. Great location just a few minutes away from town, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Big and cozy rooms with water heaters to make tea and beverages and the hammock on the terrace are great additions with attention to detail. Andrea and the staff are really friendly and informative and go out of their way to make sure your stay is a nice one. Recommended!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just were exploring the area when we stumbled upon this GEM OF A RESTAURANT! Jorge Enrique, the chef, was so welcoming and warm. His food was even better, we had to come back the next day for more. The flavors were perfect. First day we got chicken with coconut rice, the chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy, with honey mustard glaze. Also tried croquettes de platano and they were so good! Last night we got tamarind pork and it also blew tastebuds away. Yes, the wait to get the food is long, but it’s only because Hector is cooking fresh to order and putting extra love seasoning in the food. Would absolutely come back! Thanks Jorge!

Nice rooms with good view. Not all rooms offer hammock on balcony, so please check. Poor food. Bit off the town center

It has quite expensive for what It is. We also heard a guest has money stolen from their room. The cleaners were the only ones with Keys, recepcion staff werent helpful. We were advising new arrivals to leave nothing valuable in the room during the day.
Eva Lee — Google review
Stayed in a standard double which was clean with great views. Loved the hummingbirds and the design of the facility but be aware that it is a hike up from the main street to get there and our taxi couldn't even drive up due to the steep slope. Lovely breakfast and our room was farther away from the streets so we didn't hear any noise. They offered to hold our bags since we couldn't check in early. Unfortunately I believe the staff did steal $ from my bags but I cannot prove it therefore my 4 star rating is not at all reflective of the theft. I had 5 stacks of $100 in $20 bill increments hidden in one of my bags and after leaving Minca I noticed that $20 had been removed from each stack. This clearly was an unfortunate risk when you travel but I was surprised because Minca seems so safe. Overall it was a decent place to stay and despite the lukewarm water and poor water pressure it was clean with a comfortable bed. Just be aware of your valuables.

Casa Loma Minca is a popular choice for backpackers, offering a variety of accommodations from dorms and huts to private rooms. The hostel provides homemade vegetarian meals at reasonable prices, attracting both guests and visitors from the area. Situated on a hillside with picturesque views of the village, Casa Loma Minca also offers activities such as yoga classes and birdwatching tours.
They we full and I didn't have a reservation. Very helpful and friendly. I eat and hung out a bit. I like meat and steaks but this was truly excellent! Great vibe and view. Many seem to be camping here. It is a climb to get here but part of the experience if you didn't overpack and fit.

I just wish I could have stayed longer here. Its a very beautiful hostel, the views of Minca and Santa Marta are incredible. It seemed to be doing great business as we wanted to extrnd our stay but it was booked out! The staff are amazing, I only got one of their names Tanya who was the front desk was really nice and helpful. The owner Stefan was so sound and we had great chats. The atomsphere of the place seems very open minded and free. All the food in the restaurant is vegetarian and loads of vegan options. The food was amazing. You must climb a relatively steep hill to get up there so please be aware of this, but it means that you get the best views of the sunset. Theres also yoga studio and spa treatments which i should have availed of. Lastly, theres kittens there at the moment and they are ADORABLE. All of these factors made it probably my favourite hostel ive stayed in!!! Thanks for the stay 💚💚💚

LOVED my stay here, did not want to leave. I booked Casa Luna for 3 nights, which is in the far back with it's own private shower and bathroom, so my experience with the room may be different than those who stayed in dorms/hammocks but I found the room very comfortable and clean. I had plenty of space and the outdoor bathroom was super clean, as were the communal bathrooms by reception. The vibe here is amazing, everyones gathers on the deck for sunsets and it's a great chance to meet other travelers. Food was great, I had breakfast here everyday and dinner twice and beers are cheap. You can't beat the views and the music was always perfect. They cut the music around 9pm so it's easy to go to bed early. The hike up the hill to get there isn't easy but it's doable and worth it. I liked that this hostel was up in the hills but didn't require a moto taxi to get to from town. The staff was amazing at this hostel and I even got a massage and facial from Melissa, highly recommend! If you're not into bugs, don't stay here, but if you want an incredible experience in Minca and are looking to meet others I cannot recommend Casa Loma enough.

Casa Loma is my happy place 😊 I spent two weekends there and it quickly felt like home. The single bed huts are a godsend for a single traveler wanting a bit of privacy. The sunset is amazing. As are the parties and events. I participated in excellent yoga sessions with Jaimé. An absolutely beautiful tantra workshop with Maria. And enough great music to dance the night away. The staff are all helpful and kind. Shout out to Reiza at the reception for being so friendly!

The view is spectacular! I would just book a room here to see the amazing sunsets here! I didn't stay here, but i did enjoyed some lovely sunsets here. They also have live music here, yoga in the morning and a very good vegetarian menu. The hike upthere is quiet difficult, but soooo worth it!

This is a special place for those active travelers who are looking for a relaxing reprieve from the cities. It's a steep 450 meter (1/4 mile) climb from the road, but you arrive to stunning views of the mountains, Santa Marta, and ocean below. The elevation provides access to a nice breeze and the vibe is a relaxed yoga atmosphere with shared reading spaces and communal areas to mingle with other travelers. The rooms are rustic. You don't come here to hang out in your room. You come here to lounge in the open air spaces and simply sleep in the room. We had a double bed hut. The bug netting was clean and adequate to protect from the bugs. The bed was comfy and clean. The shared toilets are well lit and surprisingly clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Loma. The food and views were excellent. The hike up wasn’t too tough. Tania helped us so much when we were there as we had to moves rooms a few times due to us booking separate nights. Our stay was excellent, thank you Tania

Amazing hostel, but even if you don’t stay here, you MUST visit the cafe. We just ordered a hot chocolate and a coffee and the hot chocolate came with a cloud of sugar above it that dripped into the chocolate milk. Then my coffee came with a full demonstration and explanation by the woman serving us. An absolute MUST if you are in Minca. Hostel itself is also great, especially the view.

Beautiful escape into the Colombian mountains, offering easy access to Minca’s attractions while maintaining a sense of seclusion. The bar and restaurant offer a diverse menu crafted from fresh and locally sourced ingredients - breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Also, the exceptional staff is warm, welcoming and is always ready to help and arrange tours. Special shoutout to Jorge who gave us some invaluable tips for exploring Minca’s hidden treasures. We’ll be back!

Tips: -There's a steep uphill to get to the hotel, about 15 min with bags - ask everything about your room as they vary - I got a private room which was actually a bed in a cabin with no door right next to The bar, and there was no way to know that, even the reception guy didn't seem to know that - so ask and be specific about your questions. - There's a nice atmosphere in the evenings but maybe it's enough just to visit there and stay somewhere else. - The restaurant is pricey and there were multiple communication issues, this is true especially if you're a food-specific person- I ordered a salad, got it full of oil, and had to go through a debate with arguments such as "but it's Olive oil", "but it's vinegar with oil" until after 10 minutes of the waitress not knowing what to do their manager replaced it. Long story short, the atmosphere is really nice but the facilities aren't worth it and you can probably find a nicer plain in Minca and just pop by.

I booked 2 nights, stayed 10 days. I loved the atmosphere of the place. I would especially like to mention my gratitude to the amazing staff. Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the amazing staff, that worked there. The ones I kept in my brain were Jeremias and Ray, who did an outstanding Job at the bar. Always friendly and up for a nice chat. Also Guillermo was amazing. After a couple of days he made me feel at home and it felt like a true friendship. Thanks for the moments and conversations galactic brother. I am very happy to have stayed in casa Loma. Especially nice was the atmosphere with the staff. It did not feel, that they would just work there, it felt that I visit their home. So much passion, customer service and honesty. Please don't change! I will always keep this place and you in my heart.

This place is very beautiful, however, I would recommend staying somewhere else and just coming for sunset and drinks as the rooms are not worth the money. The vibe is cool but it was very hard to sleep at night - as you are outside there is a lot of bugs, they blasted music until 4am whilst I was there and then staff were speaking very loudly outside the dorm at 7:30am. Pros: Veggie food good and reasonably priced Drinks reasonable too Setting and sunset is amazing Cons: Beds are expensive and very basic Steep uphill climb to get to it, which was really horrible with our bags Rooms are very basic/outdoors which is fine but it’s really loud at night Amenities could be improved

WARNING!!! Extremely unserious business do not book a hostel stay here!!! We booked 2 nights at Casa Loma in the room El Mirador. We were excited when we got to the hostel thinking we were in for an extraordinary experience. That was the opposite of what we got! The view was amazing but that’s about it. The room was filled with insects and lizards but that is what you sign up for when you book a stay in the jungle so of course that was no problem. The problem began when we 2 hours after arrival found BED BUGS in the bed. Bed bugs is not from the jungle and is just a type of pest!!! We notified the night receptionist who was very helpful and took the matter very seriously. We were given the choice of staying or getting our money back. Since we wanted to escape the bed bugs we chose the option of leaving and getting our money back. What we did not know was that we would NEVER BE GETTING OUR MONEY BACK!!!! The receptionist asked if we wanted the money back in cash or via transfer and to which we answered that we wanted it back as fast possible. The receptionist said the fastest way would be if we just came back one or two days later and picked up cash since he could not give us cash immediately (for some reason?) so we agreed to that. I however got so sick after that that I was not able to travel for a few days which meant I could not get on a bus for hours to go pick up the money. I then notified Casa Loma that I would not be able to come back and pick up the cash to which Casa Loma then responded and assured me that it was of course no problem and that they would instead transfer the money back to my account. That was a lie!!!! That was now 5 weeks ago!! I have tried to contact Casa Loma a few times since then but they have only responded once and only with excuses about why the payment has not been made yet. And since October 14th they have not responded to any of my messages!!!! Bed bugs and they do not give you your money back and then they stop responding DO NOT STAY AT THIS UNSERIOUS BUSINESS Give me back my money!!!! I will gladly take this review down in exchange for my money!!!

We had an incredible stay in Casa Loma. We instantly fell in love with this special place and stayed much longer than planned. We participated in the Cosmo Immersion with Vinicio, Cacao Ceremony and Ecstatic Dance, Jazz night with the Open Mic & visited the indigenous Wiwa village with Jam - just to name a few of our highlights. The staff is kind and helpful, food affordable & very delicious & the view for the sunset is beautiful like no other. Big, big recommendation if you come to Minca!!!

Beautiful setting for sunset, great food, and a litter of puppies to play with… can’t ask for much more. Although I can’t say I’ve seen any other hostels sell lube at reception… It is a bit of a trek when carrying backpacks, check in service was slow and the showers could be improved (the ones by reception are much better), but overall it was a good place to stay
Matt R — Google review
Casa Loma is a wonderful place to disconnect from it all, its sunsets and views bring a lot of peace. Jorge at the reception is a perfect 10, very friendly and kind, paying attention to every detail. The variety of the menu is excellent (vegetarian only), and you can tell that the food is homemade and fresh. Thanks for everything

I just stayed at Casa Loma accidentally, but I had an amazing time there and would have loved to stay for longer!! The hike up there is a little slippery, so better don’t wear Flip Flops, but the place is just amazing 🤩 so many nice areas to socialize, read a book/be on your own, practice Yoga or work. The staff is super friendly and helps you also with further plannings & gives recommendations for food/activities in/around Minca or other places. The Food at Casa Loma is delicious and for dinner everyone sits together at a big table. I really liked the atmosphere there! If you stay in the 4 bed dorm directly above the reception/restaurant, you even don’t get wet, when you need something from your room & it is raining 😉

Our room was Casa Luna and the view was absolutely spectacular. I do feel like even though we booked this specific room for its view we got lucky having it because i talked to another guest who had booked it and was given another one (i assume because we were in it already). We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean but its in the forest so there will definitely be bugs. The shower and bathroom facing the jungle are also amazing and quite an experience to use. The hostel only serves vegetarian food but its quite good, the service though is often slow (like they take a long time to come see you and take your order), so don't be in a rush. Another thing is the internet, while we were there is was really awful. Either at reception or in the coffee shop it was spoty and impossible to make calls via wifi or watch a video. I was talking to other guests during my stay and we were confused by all the amazing reviews, to us it seemed a bit slow and disorganized. Sometimes planned activities took place and sometimes no, sometimes the coffee shop was closed (during opening hours) but there was no sign to indicate it was so people would wait hoping to be served. All in all we payed the most for this stay compared to any other during our Colombia trip and got less services (no AC or fan, no pool). I would personally recommend coming up to watch the sunset and have a drink to anyone staying in minca but not necessarily spend the night.

An incredible hostel. I only stayed two days but I plan to return before I leave Colombia! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. Jorge especially was so kind and gave me so many recommendations for some of my next steps in my trip - really knowledgable and able to give you personal advice depending on what you’re looking to experience. There is an 8 minute walk up to the location from Minca town which can be a little tough but it’s not the hardest route I’ve had getting to a hostel in Latin America. Take it slow! The actual situation of the hostel is breathtaking - beautiful views over the jungle with so many trees and a view of the lights in Santa Marta that sparkle at night. The decking for sunset is just unbelievable. We had a Colombian party night on the Friday with great music and lots of dancing. Everyone working gets involved and it’s such a fun vibe. I booked very very last minute and had my first ever stay in one of the hammocks with a mosquito net, which was surprisingly very comfortable and I got a really good sleep! The toilets and showers are super nearby, really clean and everything you need. I am working remotely whilst travelling so WiFi is necessary. WiFi was good at reception area and I was able to do my work well. The only thing I would say is that I needed to hop on my 4G hotspot half way during a call as it went down at one stage (I’m not very call heavy for work) but otherwise it was perfect. I think the highlight of my stay at Casa Lomo was all the dogs there. Casa Lomo is the home to a dog mom with five puppies. All the dogs here are so happy and playful, as well as loving their sleepy time. They are super healthy and full of life and honestly I wish I could have adopted them all ❤️ One of my favourite hostels in my travels so far, I can’t wait to go back and visit in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Loma! It has super relaxed treehouse vibe to it and the views overlooking Minca were incredible! The food was amazing and we loved the communal hang out areas and the family dinners - had a warm family feel to it.

I would like to say the food was great, and the staff was awesome! My Spanish is terrible, and she was more than happy to speak to me in English. I had the chicken and Chipotle sandwich, and a pineapple juggo.

Pad Thai and orange chicken were really good, and limonada de coco hit the spot! Great atmosphere, it was a slower Tuesday downtown so we even had the lower dining deck to ourselves (hardly any music, perfect!). Plan on returning for a burger and shake!

Sailor Will is a charming spot in Minca that offers a homey and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is known for being incredibly friendly, and the menu del dia features generous portions of rice, meat, plantains, avocado, and beans. It's the perfect place to refuel after a day of hiking up the Finca Victoria or other treks in the area. In addition to great food at affordable prices, Sailor Will also boasts an impressive selection of craft beers and delicious cocktails.
Lovely atmosphere, good music and the cocktails are on another level! A must visit if you’re around town! Highly recommend

Very homey chill vibe. Great food with great prices and good portions. Loved the down to earth ambience like being at a friends house!
Uni Park — Google review
This is the kind of place I think of when I think of Minca (not the backpackers and acai bowls and kombucha). It's homey, cheap as heck, the staff is super nice, the portions are large, and the food is filling. This is where we eat after hiking up the Finca Victoria and other treks, when we need massive amounts of carbs, cheap beer, and cheap cocktails.

They have a great selection of craft beers. The staff are great and know the Minca area well.

Santisabella is a great Italian restaurant with delicious pizza and pasta. The wine choices are superb, and the service is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a romantic night out or a casual meal with friends.
Nice restaurant with great food. We had dinner twice at this place, once pizza and one time the ribs. Price is pretty decent. Pizza was pretty nice, and after half a pizza I was already full. Ribs were also good. Lady which helped us didn't speak English but we made it work without problems. Payment both cash and card are possible. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.
Dennis — Google review
Very good rating on google so we decided to give it a try. Dishes were very good size, and a medium pizza is enough for two people while a large is good for 3. The pasta were flavorful, and large but sauce tasted a bit watery. Serví e was quick and attentive, and we had the whole upper floor to ourselves. Not the cheapest option in town. Oh also, the chicken fajita on the menu is just a burrito, so don't expect anything different. Overall, really good dinner.

Pizza and pasta taste like good, yummy, homemade food. The terrace is nice, the service friendly, the prices really ok.

Very surprised as my partner is Italian and have high standards I guess - super tasty pastas! Pumpkin tortellini with sorrentino tomato sauce and the Ariabiata spaghetti both really good. Come with garlic bread to soak up sauce. Highly recommend!
Morgan Paige Farquhar — Google review
Fantastic pizza and good choice of wine. It is to be noted that I was given a choice from three bottles of various red wine - on three price levels each being 10000 COP in difference… which I think to be superb giving the diner a choice in that circumstance. The pizza was a good size for a medium and enough that I took half away with me. Super experience and great taste!

Very tasty food. Good salad and salad dressing. Only A litel too much salt. One can allways add it, if needed, but to take away not possible. Good food. Gracias. 😍

I wanted to like this place so badly, but it was one of the worst steaks over ever had. I got a ribeye, which I believe was the most expensive cut on the menu, or close to it. It was grossly overcooked, about a quarter inch thin with now fat and gristle than meat and came with a suspect bit of lettuce they referred to as a salad and French fries. The fries were good. There was a cute dog outside that had a slightly higher opinion of the steak. He got the bulk of it.
j whoopi — Google review
This Burger + 12 little French fries is what you get when you order a vegetarian burger. Cannot recommend it. To be fair the coco Limonade was good. My friends pasta was maybe enough for a child, but not for an adult. One star for the price and the other one for the apology and that they took my burger back to the kitchen to upgrade it. Edited: -1 star because since then (4days ago) I have diarrhea
Maren Holtbecker — Google review
Food was OK and service was good but then we asked for the bill and the waiter insisted on getting the tip paid separately because otherwise the restaurant keep the tip and does not give it to him! This seems to be a common practice in Colombia that restaurants add a Service Charge but keep the money instead of giving it to the server! Owners should not be asking for money after the meal is paid! I'm OK with paying service to the waiter/waitress if the restaurant does not pay them well! But for the restaurant owner to charge a service fee and keep it, instead of giving it to the server? That's really greedy!

Quite a good restaurant. We stopped for lunch. We each had the daily special -- protein, salad, rices, fries, soup. Very good. Portions small. Service was good. Recommended.

It is great restaurants with great food. We went there two time. We ate the daily meal and Maracuya Nature Juice. They were fantastic. We also want to say all greetings to Rafael because of his hospitality. He is most energic and polite person we have ever met. All staff also was great. Thank you for your food for us.

Food was fantastic. Service was even better! Elkin was our waiter and he took very good care of us. Great location, just a little way down the road, with a great decor. We ate outside on the patio overlooking the road. I loved the glass bottle lamps, and the fruit drinks Elkin recommended were incredible!

Amazing good food without doubling the price for tourists. The place is cosy and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Too bad some of the deserts weren't available because based on the rest they must be delicious!
