Huacachina

Huacachina is a desert oasis and tiny village just west of the city of Ica in southwestern Peru. At its center are the green waters of the Huacachina Lagoon, ringed by palm trees and thought to have therapeutic properties. The lagoon's shores are dotted with bars and clubs. Dune buggies run across the high, rolling sand dunes surrounding the village.

Little town very close to Ica. You can take the tuktuk there for about 5PEN. The buggy tour is very recommendable. Though it might be too touristy but ended up very cool. Be aware of the dogs there. We were nearly attacked by two. Grab the nearest rock for extra protection.

Nice hotel, air conditioner, breakfast included, and the best in front the oasis!

First time I get to visit and stay the night in an actual oasis. So surreal and amazing place. Food is surprisingly good. Also 10 sol cab (a motor bike with passenger seats) to Ica city.

Lovely oasis, the once was located in the middle of the desert. It used to be a local spa place, that only richest people from Lima where able to afford to visit. We were told, that Nowthe water is being pumped, but it still is a lovely place. Well worth of paying a visit!

We stopped here so some people could go for a dune buggy ride. The rest of us walked around town which takes 30 minutes, had a cold beer and found a place where there was free wifi. It was very hot but a light breeze coming off the small lake was nice. My friend paid 30 soles to have a swim in a hotel pool and said it was perfect. The place doesn't have much to offer. It's really just a springboard to and from other places and for dune buggys. Did see some people up on the top of the dunes using their snowboards (or similar) which was one hell of a walk. There are toilets here and the place is generally wheelchair friendly. Watch out for the buddy's as the zoom through town - can be a little reckless.

Such a beautiful spot to stop and spend a few hours. Loved it but glad we didn't stay too long. Cool area and Def a must see if Peru

I think that at night its better. During the day the weather is very hot. You have to climb / walk till the top of the dunes!!! There is wating an amazing view for u :) U must take these dangerus but funny moto-taxis hahaha, they are also very cheap.

An unexpected desert oasis in South America. A lush island in a sea of sand, its watery pool ripples in shades of blue and green. Circled by palm trees, the Peruvian watering hole has served as a tourist attraction. It has become a hub of backpacking and sand boarding.

Wild Rover Huacachina is a lively hostel located in the desert oasis of Huacachina, offering a vibrant bar and dining experience, as well as an outdoor pool where parties are hosted. The hostel is renowned for its energetic atmosphere, with daily pool parties and club nights that go on until late. Accommodation options include POD-style dorms equipped with personal lights, chargers, and curtains for privacy.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wild Rover Huacachina during my adventurous trip to Peru, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of extraordinary! This oasis in the heart of the desert surpassed all my expectations and provided me with a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. The staff at Huacachina Hostel deserves a special mention. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist with any queries or requests I had. Whether it was arranging exhilarating dune buggy tours or recommending the best spots to watch the sunset over the dunes, their local expertise made my stay unforgettable. There is this person called Angie Vera, the event manager, who is the most amazing person working at a hostel I have ever met. Her energy and how she teaches mixology and salsa is just unforgettable. She is always open to explain you things about the culture, giving you pieces of advice about what to do and introducing you to people similar to your likes.

Pro: Almost everything is nice. Peru Hop use this place as a meeting point, so if you are long sleeper in the morning, this place is good choice for an accommodation. Con: In the bar they doesn’t sell food. Only drink. They doesn’t have a hair dryer. There is no breakfast option.
Kim Chan-gon — Google review
Wow. Where can I begin. As soon as I walked into the hostel Jose was there to greet me with a multilingual smile, ready to meet each and every one of my needs. My expectations were pretty low considering I paid $8 for my bed, but the people at Wild Rover make sure of extinguishing any correlation between price and human experience. It was such a pleasure getting to experience my stay at Wild Rover and I would recommend it to any enthusiastic traveler that enjoys connecting with others. And of course, a special thank you to Jose who’s made this experience so uniquely memorable 😁

This hostal is really nice! they also have other locations apparently and I will return to one of them for sure, no doubts! Clean, the bedroom was cozy and the staff is really nice! They are there 24/7 and can help you with everything. Love their energy. Martin who was working at the reception was really helpful from the beginning until the end; when I needed night transportation to the bus terminal he found me one and in less then 2 minutes I was on my way. 5 stars!
Mohammed Amine Herrati — Google review
The staff and service is great and everyone is very helpful. Victor is the best, always with the biggest smile and ready to carry your bag to the storage room. It's a chill hostel in the daytime with a great pool and hammock area and restaurant. At night it turns to a party hostel but only until 1am. You will be fine with earplugs when you sleep in the dorm longest away from the restaurant. However, for private rooms it might be more noisy cause they are placed around the party area. The have delicious food in the restaurant to fair prices. I extended my stay to chill a bit more.

I arrived to Wild Rover Huacachina before my check-in time, and Camila did a wonderful job accomodating for me. She was very nice and welcoming! What a great experience! The pool is nice, especially during the hot desert days, and the bar is wonderful as well. A very social atmosphere that I definitely recommend for people that are trying to connect with other travelers. Will be back!

We had such a fun time. We did the pub quiz with a group which was so fun!! We did the bbq for 1 hour with free bar tab and really enjoyed! It was such a fun vibe. Would recommend to anyone!

Had a great time at this party hostel! Jorge on the desk was particularly helpful and lovely. The guy from Lima who sung kamakama chameleon was also very lively and helpful (sorry we forgot your name)

Fun hostel, good location, comfy beds. I stayed just one night but I had a good stay. The only cons is about the room which had the door lock not working so it could eventually be accessed by others as well. Despite that, I felt safe the whole time. Be aware it's a party hostel so music is banging every night which is something they tell you and indeed provide earplugs for free.
Mauro kasinaro — Google review
The place was a little too loud for me, so I asked if I could still cancel my booking. Even though it was already 10 at night they made sure to give me my refund, which was hard because I paid by card, but they made it work! Special thanks to Valeria from the reception for her patience!

Very social hostel in a perfect location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is really good. Has very good activities to be social. The only con is that the rooms don’t have A/C just one fan and it does get very hot. The pool area is really nice. The area felt very safe.

What an incredible stay! Great party hostel with fantastic vibes every day of the week. Valentina at the bar and Daniella at events made our trip so so memorable. Don’t expect early nights or late mornings!

Really enjoyed my stay for the most part.. Music on Saturday was very cheesy though and the manager came banging on my room at 2.30am, whilst I was asleep, shouting at me because he thought I was smoking weed in the room. I wasn’t. That was not too fun, otherwise small but nice hostel. Good entertainment. Small bar area.
Rebecca Seaton — Google review
Overall really enjoyable hostel! Great vibe, friendly staff located in a beautiful area etc. the only downside I had was the rooms themselves. Absolutely no air conditioning which made for a difficult nights sleep as the temperature was so hot made it quite uncomfortable especially towards the end of our stay! Over than that decent place.

Wild Olive Trattoria & Guest House stands out amongst the Italian pizzerias in town, offering delectably authentic thick-crust pizzas adorned with abundant cheese and flavorful toppings. The outdoor patio provides an ideal setting to savor these culinary delights while enjoying breathtaking views of the lagoon. In addition to their renowned pizzas, they also serve creamy lasagne and various pasta dishes. This establishment allows patrons the freedom to customize their own pizza creations from scratch, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
I enjoyed staying at the hostel. There were lockers and plenty of fans in the dorms. The kitchen was huge and great to use, with the ability to make free coffee. The hostel had a comfy and chill living room. Although central, the hostel was peaceful and quiet, a pleasant oasis in this party town. I did not try the restaurant but would recommend the hostel for sure.
L. Bright — Google review
We ate here two night ago and have both had horrific food poisoning. We had different dishes - pasta and pizza - but both got really ill. The food is slow, expensive and tastes average… So not worth it! Especially since having to spend 2 more days in Huacachina because you literally can’t leave your room. Don’t eat here!!
Emma Vickery — Google review
We wish the restaurant and hostel can be given separate reviews but unfortunately not: This hostal is in the centre of Huacachina where you are only a 2 minute stroll away from all the tour agencies so you can take your time to choose the best deals! It also backs onto the lake which is beautiful. We stayed in the mixed sex 10 dorm and was happy with the layout, cleanliness and the quality of sleep we got. Only disappointing thing was the showers as there was not a lot of pressure and was quite difficult to maintain a constant temperature. There is a communal kitchen which was well equipped and spacious. They also have secure luggage storage, and were kind enough to let us continue to use the comfy communal areas and have a shower whilst we waited until the evening to catch our night bus. Definitely recommend to those who prefer a quiet night in and value their sleep. Breakfast options are very limited, however we had a banana and strawberry smoothie which was delightful. We would recommend going to Jaku Coffee shop which is right next door by the main entrance to the hostel it’s cheaper and had loads more refreshing breakfast options like avocado and egg on toast etc. When you are a guest at the hostel you are entitled to 10% off. They have a great selection of Italian/ Peruvian dishes on offer however they are not exactly delivered to the standards one would hope. The pizza seems to be the best thing however they do not make their own pizza bases and what we would recommend is ordering double of a topping you like rather then the 7 different toppings they offer you; we requested BBQ base, onion, mushrooms, pineapple, pepper, pepperoni and Ham. However as you can see from our picture they only gave us one pineapple piece per slice which defeated the point of a Hawaiian pizza. We also ordered a meatball sub which was disappointing as the meat balls had no flavour and where dry. The chocolate brownie and ice cream was more like warm chocolate cake rather than brownie. The following night we invited friends over and we all absolutely enjoyed the Tesquenas as starters, the lasagna was okay slightly sweet for our liking and our friend ordered a pizza and again had similar concerns about the quality of pizza. The service was not perfect many a time we would have to be waving frantically to get a waiters attention as they did not seem to purposely come around and check in and see if there is anything else they can get you. We feel this is warranted a 3/5 star as its value for money and very basic and not an experience but it is sufficient for what is needed when visiting Huacachina.

Yesterday I came with my fiance for a dinner, there was one table empty but a waitress told us we cannot sit there because is full and that there's no tables, but another waitress told us she can accomodate us. We sit, she didn't give us menu, after 20 minutes waiting another waitress ask us if already scan the code, nobody inform us about it when we sit and she didn't even give us password for internet so we can scan the code, at least she gave us her phone so we can take a look on the menu, when we finally decided what we wanted to eat, nobody aproach to our table to take our order.. we understand that they were busy but after another 20 minutes waiting for service, we decided to go.. Really poor service and for the price they charge is really not worth it.

Cocktails were nice but kind of experienve compared to other Bars nearby without any special offer or happy hour. Coffee wasn't really good Nor terrible. Service staff was unfriendly and really short in communication and misunderstood our really simple order
Marie Loeffler — Google review
We ordered 2 personal pizzas, 1 familiar, and garlic bread. The taste could be better, in my opinion the pizza’s dough was salty. We went on Sunday’s night because on Saturday was no place for us.

March 19th Food poisoning! We were so excited to eat here. Pasta yum! The lasagna was delicious. 4 of us enjoyed it. UNTIL at 3am in the morning all 4 of us were vomiting and had diarrhea. 3 of us are Peruvian. So this was not a traveller/tourist, drank the water type situation. We all had food poisoning and were extremely ill. I was so sad that this happened because the atmosphere was great, the music was great, the waitresses were amazing, the food honestly tasted great, it was a perfect little spot.

It was good. I like that I could add my own topics and pretty much complete my own pizza from the start. Coffee was excellent.

We spend one day and night in huacachina. The hostel is very cheap in bed prices but the restaurant is cheeky in prices. Bad service in the restaurant but on the other hand very good service at the reception. Next time i would sleep there again but pay a taxi for 15 soles to drive in the city to eat.

At the Wild Olive Restaurant in Huacachina, the experience went beyond just great drinks and fries. Along with my Coke Zero and beer, I was delighted to find a selection of condiments on the table, including classic mustard and creamy mayonnaise, which elevated the French fries to a whole new level of flavor. As I enjoyed my meal and drinks, the restaurant's playlist was another highlight. The playlist featuring a delightful mix of Boney M and ELO tracks, created a nostalgic and cheerful atmosphere. The music added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit, making it even more memorable. So, if you're seeking a relaxing oasis in Huacachina where you can savor delicious fries with mustard and mayo, all while grooving to some classic tunes, Wild Olive Restaurant is the place to be. It's a perfect blend of good food, great drinks, and an awesome playlist that will leave you with fond memories of your visit.

Restaurant: 2 of the worst meals we had during our Peru trip. We got lunch at check-in and were disappointed with the gross tastes of various canned meats and vegetables. Strong chemical-soaked flavors. We got a salad and sandwich. We did hear some positive reviews of their pasta/pizza, if you come here get those and don’t order anything else. We were up early and it was the first place open for breakfast so we tried again. The omelettes were aggressively bad, burnt egg(?) and veggies tasted as if they had been run over by some of the local dune buggies Hotel: We were greeted at check-in by the guy calling out to us while doing his business on the toilet. We asked him to break change to pay for the room and he laughed and said we should try with the guy on the next shift, but allowed us in our room anyway. Bed was comfortable enough but linens/floors/bathroom were all quite dirty

I ordered a lasagna and a glass of melon juice, that cost S/. 55, and when I paid with credit card, the waitress asked me if I wanted to tip. So I pressed the machine to be S./ 60, however, since I don’t speak Spanish, I didn’t notice that means I would add S./ 60 as tip! I thought it was a total amount. In the end, when I went home and checked the receipt, I found that I paid S/. 115! The waitress didn’t even say a word to warn me when it was obviously unusual to have meal of S/.55 and tip S/.60. I felt cheated. I don’t recommend this place.

I rate the restaurant. I booked another hotel. So … it makes no sense to talk about the atmosphere, the vibe … because it’s a touristic restaurant and it felt like that. That’s why i don’t go in touristic restaurants but here … it’s a little bit difficult not to do it. About the food i can say that the veggie lasagna was too salty for my taste and also for my husband’s taste who eats more salty than me. The spinach ravioli could have had a little bit more salt :). It had no punch. But the bread with garlic that came at each dish was really good. Chica fizzy was good too. Overall … it wasn’t bad … P.S. If i would have stayed one more night i would have tried a different place.
Raluca Croitoru — Google review
The waitress here is so incompetent, we spoke in Spanish the whole time we spoke with her (both have an intermediate level of Spanish) yet she walked off and got someone to come over and say that she doesn’t understand English. Classic example of judging a book by its cover. We then spoke in Spanish again with the male colleague which was fine. Food is average, pasta sauce was disgusting and ruined the dish. But basic manners to ask people to repeat if you don’t understand clearly is missing here.

This is a review about the restaurant only, I did not stay there. We went for dinner on our last night as a treat and ordered a mango daikiri which was delicious and a pisco Sour. Both drinks were pretty big so you feel like you get your money's worth. Then we ordered a personal pizza each. Food was good, a bit pricey but we were at an oasis in the desert so I guess fair enough. The pisco sours are really good, we had two before leaving and we enjoyed them. Since we didn't manage to finish our food they gave us a box to take it out and surprisingly they didn't charge us for it - other places charge at least 1 sol. Maybe they forgot? The table service was very good, when we arrived we had to wait for a table outside - too hot inside to eat there - and a lady came to let us know a table was empty and that we could take it. The same waitress was very polite and helpful throughout our time there so we left a tip. Nobody asked for it like they do in other places so it felt for us they genuinely deserved it :)

After waiting for over an hour, the pasta I got was overcooked. It was inedible. It was expensive and they even asked for a service charge. Don't go there.
佐藤陽彦 — Google review
Terrible service!!! The bathrooms are disgusting, they take hours to give you your food, there is a waiting list but they don't respect it, a lot of disorganization. We went hoping that the experience would be good but the reviews are a deception. We witnessed how the same thing happened to other people.

We booked two nights but stayed one. Our double room was next to the kitchen so noisy till late. The floor was sticky - needed a good clean and no ventilation. The kitchen was very dirty (greasy stove, unwashed dishes in the sink)- I know its bad guests but management must manage! At 7:15am the TV on the veranda was turned on - wake up call? A plus is the lake view from the front. There are much better options nearby so we moved.

Desert Nights Hostel, located in Huacachina, offers a unique accommodation experience with private double-bed huts and a range of amenities including a swimming pool and swim-up bar. The hostel also provides free breakfast, making it an excellent choice for budget travelers looking to indulge in something special without breaking the bank. Additionally, guests can enjoy traditional Peruvian dishes and American favorites at the on-site restaurant, which is the only establishment in the area accepting credit and debit cards.
Had an awesome stay, we also booked the tour at the reception and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Everyone was super friendly, the pool was great as well.

Ok room and bed, we got the private bathroom which payed for itself, going to the toilet and the other one was occupied, big bathroom big room, nicer then other options in town and glad not the deal with the big parties like some of the other hostels in town as I was very tired after travel
Max Dee — Google review
The place itself very nice and cheap, toilets are okay, rooms and beds good, however be prepared as sometimes you might not be able to sleep. The roof bar is open and spreads all the noise across the hostel, in my room you couldn’t close a huge window, therefore we couldn’t fall asleep till after midnight as there was people screaming from the bar. The girl at reception has made numerous mistakes during our stay, regarding our booking and other people’s bookings, which ended up in some of us having to share a bed as there wasn’t enough space due to her mistake with making a reservation. She’s completely unaware and unbothered of her surroundings and her job, does NOT reply to messages for hours or at all, even though she’s online on WhatsApp and on her phone at reception all her shift.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 4 nights. It is truly the best place in Ica. The staff is super friendly. The room is big and the best are comfy. We had our own bathroom outside of the room and an amazing rooftop view plus a kitchen where we made breakfast everyday. All for 80 soles a night. We were super happy we picked this place. We even got access to the beautiful pool across the street in the Ecocamp hotel. 100% recommend it

Unreliable and unwelcoming!!! Arrived in the morning, after I booked on booking for 1 night. Asked the receptionist, who seemed very disinterested/tired/exhausted/bored in/of her job, if I could stay 2 nights which she said yes to (nice). I was welcome to hang out in the hostel until check-in at 15:00 (nice). At check-in the same receptionist told me I couldn't stay the 2 nights because somebody else booked the bed since we last talked (not so nice). Even after questioning her why she didn't reserve the 2nd night for me, she was unable to admit that she made a mistake (not so nice). She proceeded to show me the room without explaining what the wifi-password is, where the bathrooms are and what other services the hostel includes (I read some other guests could use the neighbour's pool?!). It's hard to understand why someone so unmotivated works in tourism. Huacachina itself is nice for a short visit. However it is overrun, noisy and people leave their trash in the sand dunes..which is incredibly sad. Pachamama is worth nothing here.

Our room was large with double beds. The hotel is right next to the manmade oasis. Unfortunately we were also right next to a door with a buzzer that went off all night and could hear the door being slammed too. There was no WiFi in the private rooms. The room / hotel was a bit badly designed. For example the fan in our room was inbetween both beds so neither got any benefit. There was also a large window on the door shining through on one of the beds all night and you could not turn this off. The receptionist was quite aloof and seemed to be eating all the time. 5/10

This place is amazing. I stayed here for 2 nights and 2 days. It's small and you can walk around the whole lake within 20 to 25 mins or even less. Of course during the day there are people trying to take a picture. If you go in the morning you'll be the only person and you have the chance to take lots of pictures. There's lot is lots of food places. The food is good. I brought some delicious wine and I brought shaved 🍧 ice just the ice. I poured the wine into the ice and I was walking about and drinking. I totally recommend you to try it! The wine is like no other place. At night you can explore the lake. I'm not sure during the day time, but at night there wasn't no one taking care of the boats. I saw a group of youngsters getting inside the boats and going to a joyride. I told my friend to do the same. We did. We were on one of the little boats and we were going for a ride and also drinking a little bit. This place is small but there is adventure!

It’s worth all the hype that’s on social media. Our first time in Peru and got this through Peru Hop which by the way is the best way to see parts of Peru you would’ve never thought of. You just gotta be here in the moment to understand how amazing it is.

A beautiful oasis in the middle of desert! There is a restaurant with a weird name though, posting pictures of it for gags!

We enjoyed the visit to the oasis very much. The sand dunes were so fun to "surf", either with the buggy (which felt like a roller coaster) or with the sandboards.

I went here on mid April 2023, I feel like it was a perfect month to visit this place, it was not actually that super hot, the Oasis looks amazing but it was full of tourist and I'm just a bit disappointed because I was actually expecting a real village where local live but when I arrived there it was more like a tourist attraction. There was a lot of souvenir shops, restaurants or bars and some accommodations. And you can also paddle on the lake. My favourite activity there was the Bugee ride. You should not miss that. I didn't expect that it would be super fun and unforgettable.

Good price, and good amenities. Showers were hot. The toilets should’ve been cleaned more often, though.

Scuemy is the best receptionist I've met in Peru. She is warm-hearted and efficient. The hostel is located right by the oasis and offers good value for money. I stayed 8 nights, Everything is fine.

Restaurant
Nuna Cocina-Bar is a rare gem among dining establishments, offering both affordability and delectable cuisine. Their set menu is a superb value, providing ample portions that will satisfy even the most voracious travelers. While the service may not quite meet the standards of North American or European culture, it remains commendable within the Latin American context. The restaurant boasts an impressive range of dishes on their main menu, with prices varying from 15 to 40 sols.
You can find hamburgers, juices, menus and à la carte dishes. The prices of this place, according to what I compared with the other restaurants on the same block, are cheaper and the quality is very good, for that reason, I would definitely return.

Find for a quick bite to eat, or to sit on the patio for a beer, but pizza was below average. Service was good, prices were good, but we had to change our order multiple times because they were out of a certain size of pizza, or type of beer.

Overall, it served it's purpose: to feed hungry people at the end of a long day. Views are not amazing, food was not the best ever, but we ate it all and did not get sick. Good prices.

One of the very few restaurants or eating establishments that is both affordable and tasty. The set menu that they provide is a great deal and the quality and quantity is sufficient for hungry travelers in search of something good. The service is good but then again we are talking about Latin America where the culture of food service falls behind North American or European standards.

Food was delicious, good attention and fantastic lemonades. The price was okay, the burger pretty basic, but with a huge and very good patty and yummy sweet potato fries. The salad was huge, enough for two people. Would recommend the place.

We spend one day and night in huacachina. The hostel is very cheap in bed prices but the restaurant is cheeky in prices.

Nice location and great pool. But rooms are super basic and breakfast poor. Staff is friendly and there’s secure parking for a couple of cars. Biggest issue it the noise from the nightclubs close by. On a Friday it goes on until 5am… no sleep without industrial earplugs…

The location was decent, we could easily walk to the lagoon. We stayed in a room on the lower floor right next to the reception area. The room was moderately clean and spacious, but a bit too dim without much of natural lighting and the floor and air felt damp. There were noises from the reception traffic during the day, but we didn’t have much issue with noise in the night. The pool had a picturesque view of a sand dune in the background. However the pool area wasn't really taken care by any of the staff, and the pool cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The complimentary breakfast at the restaurant was pretty nice. The restaurant was clean and cozy, we decided try their dinner menu and it was pretty okay, too. The staff at the reception was courteous and attentive.

The hotel facilities are fully okay, nothing to complain at all. Still the breakfast is very, very poor and the worst I had in Peru (food was good but nearly no choice). The main problem was the bar next door: How can a hotel accept that they play super loud music until 4 AM so that we did not sleep at all? We were completley done the next morning. You even felt the bass vibrations in your bed. Choose the hotel if you wanna have nights without sleep and headache the next day. Unaccaptable, no matter if it is friday or not. Half of the guests looked completley done the next morning at breakfast. A No-Go!

Ate the stirfried veg rice and potatoes here. The veg were lightly flavoured and tasty, and it was really good to get a variety. The accom is as photos. Pretty clean and basic. Big room with a ceiling fan. Private bathroom was external, hot water shower but took a long time to heat up and not very hot if others had been in the bathroom. Noisy, but that seems like all of Huacachina.

A stunning view at the very top (three floors up). There is a bar there and they offer happy hour (two drinks for the price of one). The ceviche is fresh and extremely good. I recommend it. The service is also very good.

I was really satisfied with this restaurant until I get the fake bill. We ordered just 2 bottles of beer, but they charged us 12 bottles. If we were drunk or careless, we would not have known they had deceived us. The food and service was good. Just be careful!!!!

The restaurant has a super nice roof terrace, the service is friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, there are very few vegan meals, but the burger with quinoa pattie was super tasty. You should definitely offer more plant-based alternatives, because you seem to know how to prepare them. Future is vegan.

With not many options in Huacachina, this was ok. We got 10% off as were staying at EcoCamp. The burger I ordered was tasty but not fully cooked. My boyfriends 'boneless' chicken had a bone in it. The food was all right, the service was OK, and the decor/atmosphere was all right too. If you're close and looking for food or drinks you probably can't go wrong, but don't expect to be blown away!

Ate the stir fry vege and potatos, nice selection of vegetables and what we needed after travelling

Took 30 minutes to bring drinks, 50 minutes to bring food. There were just five guests in the restaurant. Food and drinks were great, but we nearly missed our tour.

The view from the patio was really nice. The food was pretty okay in general. In fact, the palta a la reyna was pretty good. The burger and fries were quite bland though. The atmosphere on the patio was really relaxing. The staff was friendly, but he seemed overly easygoing and therefore the service was a bit slow and inattentive. The food price was rather reasonable.
