Il Portico Restaurant B&B is a charming establishment with stunning mountain views. The delicious and reasonably priced pizza is served promptly, making it a great dining option. While some menu items may not be in English, the excellent service compensates for any language barriers. Visitors highly recommend this place and praise its vegetarian antipasti, mushroom ravioli, and culurgiones dishes. Guests also appreciate the friendly service and honest food at this restaurant in Orgosolo.
We were directed to the restaurant after asking at a nearby bar. Service was excellent and the food was too. We had the vegetarian antipasti to start and was excellent followed by mushroom ravioli with a mushroom sauce, and the culurgiones, both were really tasty. Well worth a visit if you are in Orgosolo!

restaurant was completely booked (bloody hunters annual dinner in addition to hostel guests ...), very disappointing since it looked like a very pleasant place !

Big portions, vegetarian options but the food itself is average. Local is dog friendly.

Beautiful restaurant with views on the mountains. Pizza was delicious and served in less than 20 minutes! It was cheap too compared to other places I've been to. If you don't know Italian make sure to bring the translator as not everything on the menu is described in English. I highly recommend this place.

Good and honoust food. Very friendly service

I ordered fried brains with vegetables and wild boar goulash. First one was really mean, fritter tasted like it was fried for couple days however eating brains itself was pretty interesting. Meat in goulash was delicious but full of tiny scraps of bones and at least 1/4 of it was fat or skin or whatever it was. Mandatory tips paid per guest not per bill. Service doesn't really care (had to get forks myself after appetitive). Rather won't recommend.

Sardinian restaurant
The dining experience at Ristorante Ai Monti del Gennargentu is superb. The food is delightful, with a wide variety of traditional Sardinian dishes that are reasonably priced. The staff are warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere for diners. While English may not be widely spoken, the menu includes food names in Italian that most people would understand.
Wow! We only had a midday meal here, unplanned…. The farm-style lunch you’ve been looking for. Every dish was better than the last. What a hidden gem!

Very strange place. You don’t know how and what to order because a waiter doesn’t speak English, there is no menu (at all) and you don’t know the prices.
The strangest thing is a waiter. He was talking only to a man - my husband, I, as a woman, was totally ignored and I noticed it was not only our case. Time to wake up, it is not that time any more. We are not going to come back.

Went out of our way to eat lunch after having read some good reviews. We called ahead to make sure they were open. They were open, but not very welcoming. The food was substandard. We had vitello arrosto, that was so chewy that I couldn’t cut it with a regular knife. Some dude from the staff sat down at the table next to us and turned on the TV to watch some Italian soap. In the end we got charged 120Euros for 3x basic kids pasta, plus two adults lunch menu; 20% more than we paid at the best places we ate on our trip. I just felt pulled over the table. On top of that, the food kept repeating itself all afternoon in my stomach. Worst experience on the entire trip.

(Translated by Google) One thing I didn't like seeing were the two dogs tied up outside...it made me lose the enthusiasm I had in looking at the beautiful view. The menu is perhaps typically touristy... too much; being Sardinian it did not exceed my expectations..it was neither good nor bad. Too bad the desserts were finished. The home-produced wine was decent. The waitress was a nice and kind lady.

Su Lizu Pizzeria is a renowned establishment that has been recognized for its delectable pizza at numerous regional competitions. The staff is welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant dining experience. If you have a preference for seafood flavors, the Su Lizu pizza comes highly recommended, although any selection from their menu is sure to satisfy. While the decor may not be impressive, the focus here is on their incredibly delicious and reasonably priced pizzas.
The BEST pizza in the world!!! Very friendly staff! Nice atmosphere! Highly recommended!😊

Cute pizzeria with nice service... But, 1. It's too extremely hot to sit inside when the only air conditioner is only seems to be working. 2. The pizza funghi was somewhat bitter... The prices are fair and even low... The place holds some Guinness records of making pizza...

One of the best pizzas in Sardinia: my favourite is “Del Pescatore”, which I highly recommend! Cozy, cute place with a very friendly & punctual service, both dining in or taking out.

Perfect place to stop for pizza before exploring the murals of Orgosolo. And just like all the other reviews stated, incredible homemade tiramisu!

Don't go for the decoration of the place. But if you want to have one of the best pizza's in your life, this is the place! Absolutely delicious and for ridiculous low prices.

Delicious pizza. Apparently has won lots of awards at regional pizza making competitions. It's always a pleasure to eat at an establishment which is proud of their work. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend the Su Lizu if you like a seafood flavour based pizza, but don't think you can go wrong with any of the selection.

The Albergo Ristorante Pizzeria Sa 'e Jana is a delightful bed-and-breakfast with a restaurant, balconies, and stunning mountain views. It offers complimentary parking for guests. Visitors can enjoy a delicious meal at the onsite restaurant and experience excellent service. The local cuisine is exceptional, with affordable prices that are within the average range. While it would have been perfect if they had offered a traditional amaro from the region, it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
Everything was perfect and just amazing! 10/10 for all!

(Translated by Google) I stayed yesterday, the night of August at the Sa e ’Jana Hotel. Despite the short notice, the owner did her utmost to find us a room, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism by Barbara who gave us various information about the town and the events of the evening. The room, on the second floor with a modern lift, simple, spotless, quiet and with a fantastic view of the mountain. In the evening Maria, another member of the staff, was available to help us and fulfill all our requests. Cozy and familiar environment, I highly recommend to everyone! To top it all off, it would have been perfect if they had offered a local amaro but that's fine too. This is Sardinia however it is not just the sea. (Translated by Google) The hotel is very central in that town nestled in the nature and tradition of true and proud Sardinia called Orgosolo which has many artists, professionals, workers and artisans of which we can be proud ... the staff is very kind and the rooms are spotless with a terrace overlooking the panorama of the town and the imposing mountains of central Sardinia. It has a restaurant and a pizzeria, unfortunately due to lack of staff the restaurant seems to be at risk and it is a shame because the dishes are plentiful, typical and with fair and normal prices. The pizzeria with the very kind and professional staff and pizza chef are a combination that completes the variety of delicious pizzas with imaginative but spot-on variations. If a note can be made and the lack of even a small fridge and air conditioning in the hotel rooms would make it known that Jana is the perfect hotel.
