Restaurant
Trattoria Agli Angeli is located near the Vittoriale degli Italiani, a large complex nestled by Lake Garda. This popular trattoria attracts many visitors who come to explore the open-air theater, buildings, and unique streets of the Vittoriale. One intriguing feature of this complex is the Secret d'Annunzio Museum, which showcases personal belongings of the famous poet and his guests.
Absolutely delicious and perfect. It’s worth it to book in advance (we booked 1 week in advance) otherwise it’s hard to get a table. The fish of the day was INCREDIBLE. The pasta was also very delicious. We fell in love with the torta di rose for dessert. Best meal of the holiday, and in a beautiful setting too. Highly recommend.

No chance to try food. When I asked (Tuesday) for reservation for Friday, the lady said that she was too busy to make it, please call me later … I am not used to be serviced in this way… I do not recommend. So many other places nearby to be tasted .👍with surplus of nice view on Garda lake…
Marcin Nowara — Google review
Outstanding place! Well deserved Michelin star. The plates are beautifully served, food quality is wonderful. The duck I had here was probably the best meat I've ever had. 100% recommend, I'll come here again for sure!

After 8 years we visited trattoria Agli Angeli again. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly 👍🏼

Outstanding food, location and staff. The risotto, duck and grilled fish are highly recommended. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood, this one is the best.

Restaurant
Osteria Antico Brolo is a traditional Italian restaurant with courtyard tables in Gardone Riviera, Italy. The food is high quality and the service friendly and helpful. The burgers are massive - around 12 each! - and the location perfect for enjoying views of the lake from the hillside.
We stayed in the B&B for two nights and had a great time. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated, with view of the lake. The breakfast was delicious with wide variety of sweet and salty options, fresh fruit, yoghurts, etc. and freshly made cappuccino and other coffees. Staff was very friendly and kind. They even provided us with a gift as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. Great location a little walk up the mountain from Gardone Riviera’s lakeside. Would very much recommend staying here.

thank you for your hospitality! We stopped by on a Wednesday and didn't have a reservation. nevertheless we got a nice table and we were allowed to take the dog with us. The house wine was very good and the pasta with truffle was good but a bit pricey. In the end it was a nice visit and for a nice service, for a pleasant ambience and above all for good food you are happy to pay a little more - see you next time!

Oh my..... the burgers are massive at around €12 each. Lovely little restaurant/cafe on the hillside behind the grand hotel.

By far, the best food experience we had around the Garda Lake. Incredible tasty food! Sophisticated, yet the portions were very generous. Service was nothing but perfect! Could not recommend more!
Pedro Conde Martins — Google review
An absolutely exquisite restaurant, very niche looking and absolutely screams “Italian Backstreet Restaurant” since that’s exactly what it is, not too much of a view, good interior design though with the few special places to dine being the wine cellar and the mini balcony (Capable of only fitting 2 people on it for a date). The food is as good as it gets, verging onto Michelin Recommended. The staff speak Italian, English, Dutch, German and Russian (Been there 4 times already so heard it all). Would recommend booking a few days/weeks in advance due to high demand during peak summer season, but if you are lucky 2-3 people could get in on that off chance it’s free. In terms of parking it’s a bit of a nightmare, it’s suggested you either park next to the Vittoralie Degli Italiana Museum and have a 5 minute stroll through town, or park next to the Communa Riviera Del Garda. Just as a good note, before and after going to the restaurant stop off at the bar on that corner right next to the restaurant for a brilliant beer or aperol spritz. Otherwise enjoy your fine dining.

Absolutely wonderful meal at this delightful establishment. Attentive but never overbearing staff, food served promptly and with grace. I could not recommend this place with any higher regard. If you are within even an hour of this little slice of heaven, it would be a disservice to yourself to not venture here. 10/10, all round amazing.

The most incredible lunch I had in Italy. I’ve went to Italy every year and this was the best place by far. Both service and food was exceptional!

An absolutely wonderful restaurant. Innovative takes on traditional dishes using beautifully fresh ingredients. The local wines were excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. Our best meal in this area!

The place was so good we came back again the day after. The dishes we liked most: truffle spaghettini, roman style gnocchi, beef tartar, carpaccio (not on the menu), affogato

Sublime food and attentive service. The carbonara egg starter was fantastic, and the beef main melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend.

Not just food but an experience. We visited twice and everything we tried from the menu was sublime. Some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted in my life. If you are in Gardone or even within travelling distance do yourself a favour. The staff are also really fantastic, restaurant is so atmospheric and cute. Couldn’t recommend something more.

Roman restaurant
Italian restaurant
The restaurant Il Fiore di Zucca in Rome offers a fantastic dining experience. Their menu does not include Spaghetti AOP, but they serve delicious homemade pasta cooked al dente, just like in Italy. The pumpkin is a prominent ingredient in their dishes, especially the Tortelli di zucca, which is a beloved dish in Mantua. It combines sweet, sour, and sumptuous flavors that were popular during the rule of the House of Gonzaga.
You have to give all those stars, even if it's a little pricey. Excellent food. Top! Maybe you don't return because of the price, even if you spend the whole summer by the lake, but still worth it once.
Mind Controll — Google review
Unfortunately the nice atmosphere and friendly service doesn't make up for the food. Starters were fine. But the cacio e pepe was uneatable. Am generally very tolerant to very salty food, but this was something beyond normal. When discreetly notifying the staff, I learned that it was me who didn't know what a cacio e pepe tastes like. 🤷‍♂️
Olof Hernell — Google review
Currently sitting at the table whilst we leave this review. The food is fantastic and covers every taste. Wherever you are around the lake it’s worth it. Granted you can’t see the lake from this establishment, but the garden area is full of ambience which makes up for views in plenty. Wished we found this place on our first night instead a of falling into tourist traps. Will recommend to everyone we meet!
Nicola Bateman — Google review
Nice restaurant but a bit too expensive. They offer you a Prosecco for welcoming you, but at the end you pay 6€ per glass, that’s not so cool. Food is quite good, desert was unfortunately not so fresh. The back yard is super nice and they offer good wine. For me it’s a 3,5/5 stars

Nice place nice looking and food is fresh I really enjoy this place
Kazim Abbas — Google review
Wouldn't recommend - the food was mediocre; the zucchini flowers were deep fried, the pasta sauce not tasty, and the lamb chops extremely greasy. The staff was nice, but unfortunately that didn't make the food better.

Great Restaurant with delicious food that is cooles to perfection. Squid and pasta All awesome. Nice outside setting. Helpful and professionell staff Can highly recommand!

A surprisingly cheap two-course lunch including unlimited drinks (the white wine they serve is very good). The food quality is great, particularly considering the price.

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Sans Souci is a charming restaurant located in Gardone Riviera, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food make it a hidden gem for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is known for its superb pizza, light tempura prawns, and freshly cooked chips. While the service may be slow at times, the friendly staff and complimentary prosecco add to the overall experience.
Very cute and nice restaurant tucked away in a tiny street close to the water. The pizza was very good with lots of good vegetables on it. Service was friendly and prices very fair.
Tobias Winkelmann — Google review
Set in a beautiful side street, sans souci is definitely worth a visit. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was calm but lively. Despite booking we had to wait for a table but were met with three free glasses of prosecco to make up for it. I would also add that one of our dishes was forgotten and we had to ask for it, however it then came quickly and was still incredible. The staff were very friendly and welcoming despite being so busy.

Excellent food and friendly service. Seems to be a family operation. Beautiful ambience with cozy cellar feel inside restaurant. Really enjoyed the food which are reasonably priced. Don't Pass up the house wine. The smoked beef appetizer is divine.
Rick K. — Google review
This is a very cute little restaurant up a side street. We wanted something slightly off the main menu and they were completely obliging. Staff are great. The chocolate flan is to dye for, and defo worth the 15 min wait - another glass of wine. The house Rosé was very nice.
Jonathan Phillips — Google review
Amazing. The most authentic Italian cuisine we have tasted on the lake. Sat in a beautiful alley with candle lit table friendly staff and a very romantic setting. See the pic of receipt. Very reasonable
Emma Spencer — Google review
I would love to give this place 5 stars; great food - but terrible service. I had it down as a standard local pizza place, but I was very wrong. The food was superb. I had the lightest, thinnest, most perfect pizza I've had in a long time. The others had fantastic tempura prawns and even great chips (not frites, proper cooked from scratch chips). But the service was terrible - well meaning but very slow, and not terribly accurate - culminating in a 45 minute wait for dessert. I think they just didn't have enough people on for how busy they were, but they also just didn't seem to notice people waiting.

"The best restaurant in Gardone Riviera!!! The food is delicious and Luigi is a nice and good waiter. We defenitely come back here!" This was what I wrote in 2018, and in 2019 we came back and ate there almost everyday. Now in 2023 Luigi is retired, Hélena works somewhere else and the food was terrible! I cannot believe it, so disappointing... 😢
Duncan den Boer — Google review
Lovely place for dinner, we had starters and main meal, staff were lovely and very accommodating. Suggest you book, we tried twice to eat there and in the end we had to book for the following day. Lovely atmosphere. Food great (octopus was very tasty). Pizza looked lovely. Reasonable prices for great food. 👍

*Walked In from the rain* (Relevant later) No reservation however my girlfriend and I were sat down immediately. Originally on a table with a really annoying spot light so we asked to angle the light differently and instead they moved our seating completely and bumped a reserved table for us. I was convinced our meal was fated for spit balls but nothing of the sort. I asked the waiter to suggest a local wine to which his enthusiasm ignited and he talked me through in Italian/English - we laughed and I chose the bottle shown (Locally produced in this region) Starters were carpaccio with black truffle, Parmesan shavings and rocket and oil - INSANE! Then a Lake Garda fish taglione with garlic and parsley - Simple but incredible. Mains were a rocket and garlic prawn pizza and roasted pepper and prosciutto pizza - with all the condiments - it’s a pizzeria, need I say more? The pizza, to put it bluntly, was fu*king beautiful. The dessert was sold out so we got ice cream on the house (homemade) and some traditional grappa (as per Italian custom) The waiters consistently checked we were okay, topped up the wine and deserved their additional tip - the service was incredible. They even offered us an umbrella on the way out! GO HERE - THEY DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM. 4/5 dishes + bottle of wine = €75 bargain.

Fine dining restaurant
Italian restaurant
Lido 84 is a fine dining restaurant in Gardone Riviera,Italy. The attentive staff describe the dishes very well and the location is wonderful.
Second visit to this amazing restaurant. First time was get to know the chef’s Camanini cuisine. This time we chose again the Oscillazioni tasting menu but they proposed us a completely new experience, as I’ve tried already the classic tasting menu during my first visit. Attention to details and customers was very impressive, something you don’t find in every Michelin star restaurant. Can’t wait to come back next year in spring/summer to try a new menu suggested by the owners. Davvero bravi 👏🏻

Lido 84 is one of the worlds best restaurants for a reason. Impeccable food, warm service that comes to define Italian hospitality, a simply stunning restaurant and have we mentioned it’s on Lake Garda?! I’ve been here twice one year a part and it only goes from strength to strength.
Liam Collens — Google review
This restaurant is one of the most impressive I have ever been to. I especially liked the whole concept, history, you can feel the Italian vibe, old traditions. I really liked the service, it's especially nice that customers are served by one of the restaurant's owners, Giancarlo Camanini, you feel that he perfectly knows the features of cooking each dish from A to Z. Most liked dishes such as bread with oyster, pasta with yeast flakes, risotto with black garlic and undoubtedly the siganture dish - cacio a pepe, made inside the pig blader.

We had such a great time here! Amazing food, great location and such nice service staff. If it is your first time go for the menu with the classics !
Lisa F. — Google review
One of the best restaurants in Italy and the world. Food is outstanding and please don’t forget those order the pasta cooked in the pig’s bladder! Location is incredible too, right in the lake, go for lunch to not miss the incredible views

We visited as family and were sitting inside. The menu we selected was very creative and tasteful food. We liked the ideas and unusual presentation, well done. The price is high, but the creative food is worth it. The service is great and helpful. Unfortunately our last reservation failed (Ilaria) and it was a disaster from A to Z, she was unable to offer a suitable date or time. Sad to see, that Silvia no longer manages the bookings, we would have loved to visit the place again!

Beautiful spot on the lake! Very interesting 9 courses tasting menu, with extra options. Loved that it had a lot of Italian influences. Services was friendly and easy going. Well deserved spot at the 50 best restaurants! Highly recommended.

Simply the most sublime food experience of my life, and I guarantee that for 99% of the population. I will have to write an essay for all the dishes, and all items have words such as wow, incredible, insanely delicious. Pricey absolutely. Worth it for an extraordinary meal beyond measure? 100%. Service is impeccable, none of the snootiness associated with such caliber. We felt like we were the only customers at the restaurant that night. Treated like royalty in a fantasy place. Even let my son play on their grand piano with genuine appreciation. Easy choice for a last meal before I die, and it is not remotely close. The ambiance is second to none.

Absolutely incredible meal in the most beautiful setting - we were very lucky to be seated in their private dining room. We had the 7 course tasting menu and each dish was really unique. The mussels, the oyster focaccia, the garlic risotto and the rose cake were our favourites. Service was impeccable and really attentive. The surrounding area is really beautiful. Can't wait to be back!

We enjoyed our experience at Lido 84. It was one of my wishes to go and experience the journey proposed by the chef Riccardo Camanini. The staff are very attentive and friendly and they describe very well the different dishes. Wonderful location!☺️
Alice Regaiolo — Google review
Excellent food with an amazing view. The food they bring to the table are a different taste with still the recognisable tastes of home. The staff is very friendly and notices everything. They even remembered what we had the last time and asked to replace that dish with another one. And all of this while having a first row view on Lake Garda!! don’t forget to take the caco e pepe cooked in a pigs blather

One of the best dinners we've had so far. The skilled team combines Italian coziness at their venue with bold design and innovative cuisine. Very well deserved spot on the 50Best list. Tasting menu and wine pairing definitely stellar. Early reservation definitely required but strongly recommended. Very friendly and outgoing staff! Beautiful!

We had a very memorable experience whilst holidaying in Lake Garda. From the moment we walked in the service was warm and very attentive and more than happy to have conversation and answer questions. From first bite the food was an explosion of different flavours. We did the 7+1 menu and was left very full. Complimentary bread had the perfect crust and was served warm, and was replaced within seconds of us finishing our first serve. Excellent wine pairing as well - we can't wait to visit again next time we're in the area
Chris Jamieson — Google review
Started very well, service was excellent and the aperitivo was as you’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. After our drinks the waiter came over and knelt down next to me and asked us to keep our voices down. This not only broke the good vibe of the restaurant but made us then feel incredibly uncomfortable for the next 7 courses of our meal. As a place where you go for a special occasion I was quite surprised a waiter would make this comment. I was also quite confused as we weren’t speaking loud at all. The food was okay but nothing was really wow. So would say worth a visit but be careful of raising your voice at the risk of offending the waiter.
Victoria Winstanley — Google review
Our third visit, albeit several years apart. The location is very beautiful: on the Garda lake, far few meters from the water. There are a few amuse-bouches to start the evening. Bread is fantastic and made in house. The food is an incredible experience: on top the cacio and pepe cooked inside “ the vescica".This is a house specialty drawn from a Roman preparation. It's cooked in water and then they shake it up to mix in the cheese sauce and pepper before cutting open the bladder membrane and served. The service is perfect. Each dish was served by a different person. The wine choices were impressive. The sommelier's wine recommendations were spot on, perfectly complementing the flavors of the dishes. The exceptional food, expert wine pairings, and impeccable service make a compelling case for revisiting. Should the opportunity arise, we will gladly return. It is rare to find such an outstanding combination of excellent food, remarkable place and passionate people!!
Aleksandra Lazarevic — Google review
Not only is this the best restaurant you’ll find on the lake, it’s the best restaurant in Italy (ranked 7th in the world as of 2023). Completely lives up to expectations. You’ll taste flavours you never knew you loved this much. Highly recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing.
Jamie McGraw — Google review
A well-deserved number 7 on the world's 50 best list and it should be heading towards number 1 soon. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and every dish was extremely memorable and delicious and different than the last. We did the nine course tasting menu along with the addition of their signature cacio e pepe and the wine pairings. The attention to detail from flatware and dinnerware, thoroughly thought out and explained dishes. As each dish was delivered, the waiter would explain the dish, the somlier presented the wine and explained the wine, and at the end of our meal the owner/chef greeted us, truly conveying his love of the art of gastronomy and his passion for hospitality. My one and only recommendation would be to give the diners a copy of their tasting menu so they know exactly what they ate, because after 10 courses paired with wine, it is a challenge to reflect back at each one properly. Standouts include the broth amuse, the oyster, the black garlic risotto and the steak.
Heath Miller — Google review
Lido 84 is a once in a lifetime type of place. You leave with a PHD in Pasta. I would recommend that people add their signature dishes. The Spaghettoni, Risotto were unbelievable and it’s nice because Lido challenges the ways in which you’ve had pasta before. Textures, temperatures and depth of flavors. Staff was incredible from Hazel, Nicholas, Sam, Ilaria and Giancarlo. I can wait for the opportunity to hopefully dine there once again.
Brandon Ynayan — Google review
That’s was wonderful meal. The food is very delicious. The service here is great, I was welcomed very warmly. The dish was presented very quickly. Price is very reasonable. I brought children, they were a bit mischievous but the staff were very enthusiastic towards them.
