Very pleasant and delicious experience. Pork tenderloin was just perfect 👌 And the dessert was like a cherry on top (lava cake with ice cream). The service is attentive and extremely nice.

We went there for dinner with friends. Excellent food, thoroughly prepared dishes, and nicely chilled wine!! The best asset of course, the staff! Kudos!! Highly recommended.

We had dinner there. There are options to either eat inside or outside in their cosy courtyard. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Each ingredient is attentively paired to create the dish. It's a food experience and portions are decent, I only had a main course and was full after that. I had slow cooked cod, the veg accompanying the dish was just perfect finishing with sauce and caviar. This place is worth a few visits as the food is well priced and so out of this world. We will be back again)

We dined here as a large family group for a milestone birthday. Warmly received by our hosts and seated in a beautifully lit courtyard. Very atmospheric. Some interesting options on the menu but I chose the much fabled Kleftiko. Our group made their choices and nobody was left in any doubt, upon being served, that this place was special. A good selection of wines and beers available and a children's menu too. Certainly worth the journey up to Pissouri if you are in the area to dine here.

Excellent service and excellent quality food had my 60th birthday meal here ..couldn't fault anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful will be back again. I would recommend you pre book as this restaurant is very popular 10/10.👍

Simply perfect! Service: great. Really made us feel welcome. Fast, efficient, friendly. Setting: lovely & quaint. Beautiful courtyard outside and nicely furnished inside. Food: 8 out of 10. We recommend the Chicken a la a creme, and Chicken Marsala. The lamb noisettes were a bit plain; the sauce needed more punch. The cocktails are amazing.

Had an evening meal with family. The staff were very accommodating, especially as we had two young children in the party. It's not the cheapest restaurant in the area, but the food is excellent. The menu is quite different to most of the restaurants in the area, but that's a compliment, not a negative appraisal. It's unique attractive setting is also a bonus, lending to its special atmosphere.

This place is by far the best restaurant we have been to during our stays in Cyprus. The location in Pissouri village is stunning, both with the views aswell as the quaintness of the village itself. The service is superb, the staff are extremely friendly and they cannot do enough for you. Professionalism & humour is intertwined in the service. The food - the menu provides so many options, the taste of the food is incredible, I am a pescatarian and there are several options for myself along with a number of options if you enjoy eating meat. Visit Pissouri, ensure you reserve a table and you will honestly enjoy this place as much as we, and others have done.

The highlight of the whole experience is the courtyard dining area, and of course the hospitality of the staff. The dishes are exceptional and well presented. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.

We have arrived to this restaurant that is hidden to the tourist eye but when u will arrive to this restaurant you will be stunned by the beautiful flowers that are around this restaurant. I guess u don't care about flowers but the interior of the restaurant is very pleasant and elegant. I advise you to make reservation as there are many old comers that are going here so if you want go there after around 17:30 do make reservation. Portions are really large so if I can give you another advice go there hungry!! because you will not eat everything.. prices are around 12+€ so pretty good for the portion you will get.

We dined here on the 21st of September. The service and food were good. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere. My wife had the lite bite spaghetti carabonara, which was a very large portion for just €10, and the pork fillet in blue cheese sauce was delish. Meal and drinks for €31.50 great value.

Quick service. My sister and her boyfriend tried the menu for two and it was more than enough for them. The spaghetti seafood was delicious and huge.

Popular restaurant, always busy. So if your party is 4+ then I suggest you reserve a table in advance. Fast friendly service and good menu. Cyprus coffee was tasty and so was the lamb, chicken honey and chicken blue cheese. For me the spaghetti carbonara was below par (okay, it’s not an Italian restaurant so they can be forgiven). I also liked the tomato/ feta salad and the dolmades. Smell from the kitchen was amazing….if you like the smell of grilled meats. Prices were reasonable

Nice restaurant. Difficult one to review . Went twice while in Pissouri first time meal was poor and covered in grease. On my second visit food was great and much better . Service from most staff is good just one guy let's you down .

Great place, lovely owner. We felt at home. The owner works really hard to provide the customers with delicious food. This is where you will eat the most delicious traditional Cypriot food! We came there for the second time especially so that my parents could taste this taste and feel the atmosphere! We drove 40 kilometers especially to eat the best dinner. Thanks again!

One of the best Sheftalia I've had in Cyprus. They have fantastic grilled Halloumi too. Must try!

The portions are big, the food is traditional. The place is very cute, there is a green wall in the court and a bird nest. Chicken souvlaki was very nice, pork was a bit dry.

You will find Hideway just off the village square. Grilled food is cooked on charcoal outdoors & smells delicious. I rang the day before & was able to reserve a table. It was very quiet so we were able to chat freely in the open fronted restaurant. We ate from the set menu which was excellent value, 3 courses €14. The menu was typical Greek food. The Halloumi starter was plentiful & tasty as was the mixed kebabs. Unfortunately the moussaka was very dry. Basic food in a pleasant cosy atmosphere. Staff were very helpful & service didn’t take long. There is a ramp so pushchair & wheelchair friendly but it was a little steep to get down.

fantastic restaurant in the middle of Pissouri Town, super nice after the trekking. nice and friendly staff. full page of vegan menu is absolutely the best thing I've seen here in Cyprus so far! vegan burgers, falafel, filo pastry with spinach and many others, served with roasted vegetables and salad. would recommend!

Food quality was great and it was the savior of the evening. And the laugh we had. Service and waiting time terrible long! I mean super long. Restaurant wasn’t busy (3 tables only). The longest I ever had waited in Cyprus. We were super hungry and waited 1,5 hour to get main dishes. Starters were not a huge amount, bread for 5 people we had to ask 3 times to refill as they brought out very little each time. Between each time asking it’s 15 min until 1 waiter remembered what he had to do. He’s super nice and suuuper slooow…. Salad was tasty but could be more for 5 people. The other funny part out of 5 dishes for 5 people, waiting time 1,5 hrs the waiter brought 1 portion less!)))) they were 1 portion short. Imagine our feelings. We had to share 2 mains for three people. So just remember food is good to great but service and time wise you should be a very patient person, not very hungry too.

Best Moussaka I tasted in Cyprus. My family ordered chicken kebab and mix bbq. We were all satisfied.

I will give it two stars for the salads. There is one waiter and one cook. It took the food 1.5 hour to arrive since we ordered. The portions and taste were disappointing, at least for the lamb. I also found it overpriced for what I got served. I was really really disappointed.

The most awful meze I have ever tried. After ordering 2 mezes, octopus and chicken kebab, we left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. Meze had just three starters and pita, they said that there are only three of them because we ordered two mezes instead of 3+. (No other places have such stupid rules) The meat was awful, chicken smelt really bad, beef (we think that it was beef) had a huge boiled bone and no meat on it. Sausages looked awful. Boiled salted vegetables were tasteless and looked undelishes. But mushrooms were great.

We had a great Cypriot Friday night at Vrakas! The buffet was delicious, and the vibes were wonderful. Highly recommend this gem.

We dined here on the 19th September around 6.30pm which was a good time to get a table as it got very busy soon after. We ordered the giant pork chop and the meat balls (small) a bottle of water for the table and a small draft beer, the food and service were good and the atmosphere added to a very enjoyable experience and for €45 what's not to like.

Really nice restaurant on a pretty little street, the location is perfect for families or romantic couple. The staff are very professional and attentive, with fast service. Prices are reasonable. I can recommend the halloumi and the pork chop, both were very tasty. The rabbit stew was also nice, as was the spinach pie. One of the best restaurants in the area, in my opinion

Great food, good location and atmosphere and welcoming staff and owner. We went three times in total over two weeks and the owner recognised us each time. We first went for lunch as they also have a vegan menu. All food delicious and authentic. At lunch, we booked in for Friday night Cyprus night which is run by neighbouring tavernas - a buffet meal with Greek music and dancers. Need to book in advance and also for Bousouki Night aka plate smashing night. A good night out and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Nice cosy place, tasty moussaka. But moussaka was partly hot, partly cold...

My rating of 5 stars says it all. To cut a long story short: Very friendly service, pleasant ambience, top quality dishes. We enjoyed everything very much - and would come again anytime. The 5 dips, the halloumi, the vegetarian moussaka (the best I've ever had). My Bf enjoyed the meatballs with rice and veggies. As sweet treat we tasted the yummy honeyballs, which were prepared at a booth right in front of us. The food selection was prepared to a great standard. Last but not least: As cat lovers, we were entertained by the sweet pissouri village cats. If you like some cultural flair there is a Bouzouki Night every Wednesday. We definitely recommend to visit O‘Vrakas Taverna.

Have eaten here more than 3 times in the last year with a variety of company. Have always enjoyed everything and Xynisteri wine. Well presented tables look appealing too. Looks expensive but is reasonably priced. The food,wine,service,and friendly atmosphere are the reasons I recommend it. Parking right outside. Always has local clientele Exceptional views. A gem.

Nice restaurant. The food was really nice even though the lamp leg was not so much mine, but the rest was super delicious. Everything was very satisfying but I have to admit that the other restaurants were almost all closed.

The food is phenomenal. The village salad is is especially fresh and the lamb stew is exceptionally delicious. And I almost forgot about the sea bass 😍

Wow what a traditional Cypriot tavern... warm and friendly welcome.. nothing too much effort 😉 food is traditional and flavoursome and what you would expect from a cypriot dinner. Menu is extensive and main course is between €14-18. Latge portions so maybe order 2 dishes between 4 people and add a salad/starter. Thank you.. we had a lovely evening x 😊

Really liked the food, especially sauces and would recommend both afelia wine marinated pork and the duck breast. Both sauces were very delicious. House-wine also nice and fitting. Duck, Pork, Wine & Water for ~40€ also very nice for this quality. + place is open longer than a lot of other places in the area and has big parking in front. Would go again.

First time eating there and it won't be the last. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming and it was excellent value for money.

We had lamb chops which were very tasty, and the kleftiko which was not tasty to our opinion. The servers are very friendly and helpful, however cooking times were very long - we waited 45 minutes for the main dishes and the restaurant was less then half full. You are given free dips and bread which is nice of them. The view is the best in all of pissouri

During our stay we visited here most days for a Brandy Sour (which are still the best on the island) and to watch the world go by. We also ate here and ordered a village salad and a medium pizza and couldn’t finish it as the portions are so generous. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to order. Pizza bases are just right, toppings plentiful. The service is always warm and welcoming. This is a great place to visit if you’re in Pissouri. Highly recommended. Check the pizza sizes on the wall!!

What a little gem. Looks like a takeaway place, but the food is fab! Well cooked, big portion sizes and good value for money. Drinks, really well priced. Outdoor seating area cramped but fine. Indoor area ok. TV with sports on. Happy husband.

Stumbled upon this gem on a Wednesday evening in March. Place was packed with locals, always a good sign. We shared a large, they did try and tell us not to. It was massive and we couldn’t finish it. All for only €23, such good value. Brilliant place and I would highly recommend it.

The owner is unbelievably rude. I was in the middle of packing my takeaway when he started whistling at me and harassing me to go inside in order to pay by card, he didn’t want to bring the POS to the table. It happened Dec 14th around 4pm
