We came there for the first time based on the review and it was an incredible first experience. The Restaurant l’Abri Côtier is very well located on the port of Meze. You have the opportunity to eat outside (covered patio) or inside. The cuisine is excellent and the service is outstanding. The plates are very well decorated. Definitely a place to discover, we will come back.

This was the second time we have eaten here this week and both times it has been excellent . We have had both the two and three course set menus. The food has been well cooked and very good value. The ambience of the restaurant has been lovely and we were well looked after by the staff. I would happily eat here again and recommend others to do the same.

Everything is good except the beef too tough

Best oysters ever!! Stopped in with friends for a casual meal at a casual Languedoc seafood vendors 'room on the side'. Fresh local seafood with local wine - a match made in heaven!! The oysters were sublime, really some of the best (and cheapest) I've had. Nothing more to say really. I have also posted my very photogenic picture of a lovely platter of oysters to go along with the hundreds of other lovely pictures of platters!!

We had great excellent food here. The type of service you like to get in a small city. Sea food was very fresh too. I would come back for sure when in Meze.

Actually the food was very nice... we had just seafood. Especially the swordfish was tender then never tasted before, and the baby octopus tender. The service was fast and very friendly... if just not the owner or boss of this place wouldn't have come. Loud and annoying complaints about this and that, permanent shouting at the stuff until he and his spoiled daughter left with their dinner again.
