Fantastic. I honestly cant say one thing bad about this restaurant. It was just perfect. Best table at marsalforn, cute plate, divine octopus and mouthwatering seafood pasta. They gave us a good lemon sorbet for the palate, wine list organised & good selection, friendly n helpful staff… 5 star!!

Absolutely recommended. an amazing location, Friendly, relaxed with top quality dinning. Portions were perfectly sized and overall a really nice menu with mid course surprises! The creations of the kitchen simply superb and enjoyed by all, including the kids:) thank you!

The restaurant locates right in front of the sea. A very private location and it's romantic. There's no other restaurant directly next to it, so keeping this place quieter and less people traffic. For the few times i came here, i always tried the seafood. Fish , red prawn, calamari, all was amazing. Servers were very kind and friendly. A good spot for drinks or sunset dinner to see the colour change in the sky.

This is our second time eating at il Gabbiano, the first time was amazing. Our second time was nothing short of a disappointment, we were the only ones in the restaurant and we should have taken it as a sign that everything went down the drain The starters were fine, but the mains were a total disaster the rabbit pappardelle tasted like boiled pasta with rabbit thrown on top, the pork tasted old and re-heated and the chicken tasted really bland. We advised the person serving us and he said he’d talk to the chef but he didn’t come back to us.Anyways, he came to clear the plates and they were full, so the waiter plainly in-front of our faces gave the food to the dogs of the restaurant, We were honestly shocked! Never Again!

Our best meal in Gozo. Our only regret is that we discovered it on our last evening in Marsalforn, otherwise we would have returned to its beautiful location at the end of the strand. The menu was very innovative and the food delicious. The fresh pasta and seafood was exquisite and the service was first class. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Not to be missed.

Gabbiano's restaurant overlooks the sea and you can enjoy a breathtaking view while eating. The food is divine, scrumptious and the place is really quite and relaxing; the staff is very polite, professional and meticulous. I recommend you this restaurant and if you wanna eat a good dessert the local one is a good choice!! I loved pumpkin ravioli and mushroom croquettes! I can't wait to come back and eat there again!

Beautiful, romantic place to enjoy the view of the sea. The calmary apetizer were yummy, went well with the beer. We also very much enjoyed wonderful cappuccino served in lovely cups. We had it indoors where atmosphere is very charming.

Well there isn't much to say about, other then the food is absolutely delicious! This family owned and run restaurant, using own grown products (vegetables, goat meat and dairy products) or local sourced ones, delivers an incredible culinary experience! Also the view is stunning, while being a bit further from the hectic of the down town, with an view on the local harbor. If you're lucky you might just catch the boats leaving or returning for the daily catch. Just go there, relax and enjoy the experience!

The restaurant, located right on the sea shore, is run by a super friendly and experienced lady. We know the restaurants in Marsalforn well, this one doesn't have the best food of them all, but it is definitely in the top 3. In addition, it has a great selection of quality wines. Definitely recommended!

The view, the food, the service, all 5 stars. Nestled away from the busy main strip of restaurants, Il Gabbiano has a quiet and romantic atmosphere. There were so many local seafood options and delicious local wines. Highly recommend having a nice meal here when you’re in Gozo. (Also, the spaghetti with local calamari is a must.)

Our local host recommended this restaurant. Friendly chef provided us with local seafood lunch. If you want Chineese food, whatever you want to order. If you prefer local food, you can order from the menu or just ask the chef!! Everything was really delicious and reasonable!! He has more than twenty-years experience here. We definitely go again.

Truly perfect place for lunch or dinner. The owner who is also a chef is really friendly and charming. Ask him if you don't know what to order. There are some dishes you can't find in the menu like paella. Delicious! I can also recommend yummy yummy plate. The portion are surprisingly big and prices are very good. You can seat really close to the water and enjoy your meal. I loved it! <3

Ordered our food. Took well over an hour. When food was brought to table , half was missing. I ordered a steak with potatoes and salad. Got the steak. Took 15 minutes longer to get my salad. Kept asking the person who was attending us where was the rest of my meal. I didn't get my baked potatoes for another 20 minutes later which tasted awful as well.

My favourite restaurant in Marsalforn! The food is unbelievably delicious, rabbit in wine sauce and seasonal fried fish. My advice to you is to skip all the other restaurants in the area and try Yummy Yummy, this place is genuinely great whilst other places to eat in this area are quite pretensious with mediocre food (I have warned you)!

Our flight was delayed over 5 hours and we have arrived to Gozo super late (after 23:00) and super hungry looking for anything to eat. All shops and restaurants were either closed or closing and we thought that it was time to prepare ourselves for six or seven long and hungry hours only to eat something in the morning. But then we were fortunate enough to find Yummy yummy. The restaurant was also closing with most of the lights turned off already and tables cleaned. We asked if it was still possible to have something to eat, but we were not hoping for much. The owner gave us a table and the menu and said that they will prepare whatever we want from the menu, because even though the restaurant was closed for the day, he said that Yummy yummy’s mission was to feed people when they are in need. We ate a lot and it was delicious. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place and it’s lovely hosts, as it’s people like in Yummy yummy that make this world a better place.

Salmon and roast potatoes was just the ticket and they scaled the fish soup starter to a main course which was just what was wanted. Very lovely staff.

We had spent the entire day exploring Gozo Island, and when we asked our taxi driver to take us somewhere to eat, he promised to take us to a very traditional spot on the island. He brought us to this restaurant. It was March, not too hot, so we opted to sit outside with a view of the sea, which was absolutely stunning. We ordered our meals and a traditional local dish and drink made of cactus they offered us. We had a really enjoyable time, time flew by quickly, and we had to continue our journey, but it was a pleasant experience overall."

Great service, profesional staff. We took english breakfast and it was awesome and more then enough for 1 person! I can definately reccomend this place, also prices are really affordable! Tgank you for making our weekend even better 😉

Today we praise Pebbles Restaurant at Marsalforn Gozo. Yesterday evening, a bit late I must say, we decided to have dinner in Marsalforn and we opted for Pebbles Restaurant but when we arrived we noticed that the shop was closing. We were greeted by a waitress and we asked if we can have a table for 2. She checked with the kitchen and they promptly let us in. We could have easily had a pizza or a burger but we opted for a 3 course meal. As a starter we opted for shellfish pasta; loaded with shellfish and with a stupendous taste. For main course we had a Maltese Rabbit and a Ribeye steak: both served with fries and salad. The rabbit looked mouthwatering and infact it was delicious and very tender. For desert we had a generous portion of snickers cake; simply yummy. To complete the food we also opted for a bottle of red wine and a large bottle of still water. Service was excellent and waiters were polite. From cleaning and closing down to return to their families, to preparing a finger licking 3 course meal. Maybe not all of us here had the same experience but this wasn't our first experience at such restaurant and we never were disappointed. Lastly, I must add that all of this costed under €100!

Nice view, meal was good, but i was suprised with boiled eggs on the pizza. It was not good. Also we have to wait for services.

Location is perfect, food is good, staff is ignorant. Like really, waiting to order and pay took forever. There were 4 employees at once, all of them tried very hard to look everywhere else than at the customers willing to spend money here. No smiles other than fake ones, no replies to “thank yous”. I wouldn’t go there again.

Really kind and hospitable staff and owner. They were closing when we arrived but stayed open only for our group. Very reasonable prices considering the quality of food. We asked to try local dishes and the owner guided us to the fish platter, fish soup and Maltese platter. Excellent recommendations!The traditional fish soup was great, so was the fish platter. Must return!

The view is very nice, as well as the staff. There is plenty of food options, from burgers to salads or pizzas. We had planned to eat something fast for lunch, so it served the purpose. We asked three different salads, but I don't think the quality was very good. It was just ok, and not worth the price. Anyway, it's a nice spot for having an espresso or a fast meal.

Beautiful view, very lovely staff, wonderful meal! Had the mussels special. Perfect portion with nice subtle garlic flavour. Highly recommend.

Pebbles Restaurant (not the Cafe!) was a great choice while we were wandering around the bay. It's difficult to pick where to eat on this stretch of beach front, there's so many great looking restaurants, you won't go wrong with Pebbles. The service was excellent, waiter quickly brought our drinks over, then quickly took our food order too. The food was difficult to choose because it all looked excellent! of course being by the sea I had to try the calamari. There's a couple of fans blowing on each table to keep you cool, it's all shaded too. Really clean and tidy, friendly staff, excellent food and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Prawn linguine was passable, but drenched in yellow sauce and cream. Didn’t feel very Italian. Service was extremely slow, despite the fact few people were eating at 3pm after the rush hour. The waiters, however, were friendly. Lamb tagine and fish cake salad were good, beer was cheap, it was one of the few restaurants open in January in the area. I need to mention the fact that a number of flies were flying around our food and drinks.

The pasta was SO AMAZING! Waiters were super nice. We arrived to Gozo really late and literally starving, even though kitchen was almost closing they made us food. We weren't expecting anything special but both our tagliatelles were so good, we instantly decided that they were one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had. Highly recommend!

The worst "foccacia" I've ever had. It was so dry that it was difficult to eat. It was an over-flattened pizza dough with no softness and barely any olive oil. Had a dry "pulled pork" burger (another loose interruptation) the night before but the calamari was decent so I decided to give it another try. Would really not recommend plus the calamari tasted quite stale the second day

We had pasta bolognese, ravioli with local cheese, tortellini with pork and beef, chicken salad and soup. I couldn’t even expect how delicious everything was! And the bill was like 75 euros for 5 person. Highly recommended!

One of the best if not the best tagliatelle al gamberi I had…. Location is peaceful and right next to the sea side. Service is exceptional, highly recommended!

Good service and gluten free bread available! Quite a nice setting, wide selection of (great) pizzas, burgers and a selection from the grill. Good location close to the seafront and parking.

Could be a great place if only the quality of the food was better. Unfortunately our prawns tasted soapy and had a definite off taste. We had 2 dishes that included prawns and they did not charge for the second dish and gave us a drink on the house. They did push the fact they were fresh that morning but declined to taste them! Oysters were really lovely, service was slow, the other food obviously could have been better. Would I go back in my holiday time...no...many more places to try, however my daughter lives nearby so maybe I'll update with her next experience.

Unfortunately, the menu and quality of food must have changed since the lonely planet rated this place. We had a grilled fish, that was offered as „catch of the day“ which was burned and overcooked but tasted okish. The pasta was very badly (over)seasoned so that we barely ate it at all. Service was prompt but a little harsh. The view and the sound of the sea were amazing!

Good restaurant with nice views of the port at night, cozy… the food was good, we got a traditional fish soup and a platter of fried fish (which they brought with side vegetables). They gave us a nice complimentary appetizer of sun dried tomato paste and beans. But above all, some of the friendliest, nicest staff/waiters we’ve ever seen! Definitely recommend!!!

Food is decent, served by a nice staff. A plus goes for the view as you can have a great view on the bay.

Location is perfect, the restaurant is by the seaside with tables facing the sea directly. No matter what time of the day, it's a beautiful view. Seafood was fresh, love the calamari, very yummy. Only disappointment was the red prawn crudo for appetizer, the prawns were quite small in size. But dessert was great, they have a bunch of options. Staff was very friendly and nice to have helped me move to another table when a chain smoker sat down next to me.

Great place to have a food directly on a beach. Friendly service and Nice view. But the best thing is the food. We ordered fresh Salmon slices and lampuki. Very tasty and huge portions. Highly recommended

Fantastic spot along the northern tip of Gozo with outdoor seating next to the waterfront. Their menu is based around seasonal produce so you should expect the freshest ingredients hitting your plate. Great variety in the menu too.
