The London Apprentice is a fantastic establishment for a Sunday lunch or as a pitstop during a walk along the Thames. It offers exactly what one needs, especially with the warm and friendly reception from Kelly, who proved to be an outstanding host. Kelly was always there when required, whether it was for refreshments or to resolve any minor issues that arose. She truly excelled in her role and never failed to bring a smile to patrons' faces.
The perfect setting for a glorious pub. The London Apprentice is a wonderful 'country' pub in London, overlooking the Thames by the Isleworth Ait. A great selection of beers of varying flavours both from the keg and the cask, including their own Apprentice bitter! Sit down and soak up the atmosphere. The menu offers the full range of Greene King pub meals, something for everyone. A most enjoyable venue to sit down, have a drink along with something to eat. Well worth a visit.

A great pub with an amazing patio terrace along the river. It's the outside seating that makes this pub a joy on a sunny day. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was average. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall, if you're nearby on a sunny day, get a spot under the sunshine with a nice drink.
nuric — Google review
Haven't been to this pub in YEARS, not helped by them blocking off the through road to cars in Old Isleworth... But, found myself on foot on the Thames Path around lunchtime and just had to pop in, for old times sake. With its riverbank location, it's a great summer pub, but even on a dreary, rainy Friday in March, it's still very welcoming. Cosy and in good order, great beer selection and friendly, attentive staff. Couldn't resist the steak and kidney pudding with mash to top off this impromptu nostalgia trip. Wasn't disappointed! Very tasty. Well worth a visit, whatever the weather...

Well how should I start great place for Sunday lunch and place to stop off on a walk along the Thames. Just what was needed today especially the friendly welcome from Kelly who by the end of the visit was a star. Kelly was there for when we needed a drink and when there was a little issue. Kelly sorted things out she was great and helped to put a smile on your face. We had the Chicken Wings to start and Sunday Roast. I will be going back You have to go and say hello and have a few drinks and some food. If you lucky you will bump in to Kelly make sure you say Hello. Well worth a visit and good place to start a walk along the Thames or even end with good food a nice selection of food and drinks to please everyone

Great fish, great beer, great toasties! London Apprentice is a beautiful pub with so many original features and history - definitely worth a visit if you’re in Isleworth! What better way is there to spend your Saturday than with a pint by the river?

Wow what a spot to find, very nice pub beside the ole dry Dock it is very peaceful at lunchtime well worth a visit, has ringo parking 50 ft away so very handy. You can watch literally thousands of birds and the river just flowing for some quality chill out time..maybe worth taking some bird food if you have kids l.. excellent 👍🏻

The London Apprentice is an iconic pub across the Thames from Kew in the village of Isleworth. If you enjoy a warm afternoon at a Riverside pub, you have to find your way to this pub. It's outside area is substantial and its food tasty. We were glad to find our way back there today. It was a fine way to spend an afternoon.

Fantastic customer service and well priced drinks. Didn't get to sample the food but the drinks were good. There's free parking when we went (Monday evening). Lovely view of the river with late night light reflections. Highly recommend!

The London Apprentice also boasts a lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying a drink in the open air. The picturesque views of the river add an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a casual night out with friends or a cozy dinner for two, the London Apprentice Pub in Isleworth is a top-notch choice. It combines excellent service, delectable cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot in the area. I can't wait to return for another enjoyable evening.

Nice quiet pub by the river Thames with a rich history dating back to 1731!! Loved their Halloumi cheese bites and seasoned chips with the beer. We enjoyed the place so much that we even thought of making it a regular after work hangout!!

The food was absolutely amazing. Good range of drinks and beer. Great atmosphere, just by the River Thames. Dogs and family friendly so your kids can join in. I definitely enjoyed eating the katsu chicken burger and would recommend their Sunday roast and fish & chips as it’s one of the best we’ve had.

Very nice place to have a beer or even a nice meal. We tried that Fish and chips and Sunday roast. Everything was nice. The place is quainty, beautifull in a vintage style. Also there's a great view of Thames river. Good beer. Good food and good service.

The best pub and dining tucked away in Iselworth on the River Thames. Absolutely love this pub and its riverside location. A traditional pub offering a wide variety of drinks and seasonal offers. Watch the migratory birds that feed on the island opposite and relax with a refreshing pint of your favourite larger in hand and a great atmosphere Lovely lunch, I had Korean style spicy salt and pepper squid followed by slow cooked confit of pork belly with apple and squeak, a charred wedge of cabbage and cider, sage and cream sauce. Dessert was vanilla pana cotta topped with raspberry coulis, cucumber strawberry and mint
Jyk Wong — Google review
This is a really good pub, with an expeditionary view of the River Thames. I visited to have lunch with my mum. We took a table outside and was informed about the seagulls nipping our food, but we weren’t too concerned about them. A few minutes later, the wind picked up and we took a table inside. Our food was served within 15 minutes. We got: Calamari, Lettuce (with a fancy sauce), fish cakes & steak with chips. Food was spectacular and quick despite how much food we ordered. However, the bérnaise sauce has a runny like texture and it was unpleasant to dip your steak into the sauce. For dessert I got an extremely sweet Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream. I would come back to this pub, but in no hurry.

Staying locally for work and saw this on google. Been to India 4 times and this food really brought back memories. Amazing flavours and fresh ingredients. Service was impeccable and friendly. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Best I’ve had in over a decade and I love my Indian food.

I love this restaurant. I celebrated my 30th birthday on Saturday in their marquee which was amazing. The staff were so lovely, they opened earlier for me so I could set up all my decorations as I had a travel theme and I knew there would not have been enough time if we started at 11am. The staff worked with me, anything I needed they helped me with the set up and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. My family and friends loved the food from the yummy starters (kebabs, chicken tikka and aloo tikkas) to main courses. The service was very fast and the staff were very friendly. What I loved was, one of the staff members got involved with one of the games as everyone had to build a tourist attraction and I did not want to choose the winner so he chose for me 😊. Had an amazing event there and everyone kept saying to me how good the food was. They also provide bespoke cakes, they looked amazing. I would have booked my cake with them however I booked my cake before finding a venue for my party. If you are looking to book a party or to go for a lovely lunch or dinner, book with Cinnamon Lounge. In terms of parties, there is a lot of packages so you can choose based on your budget. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Cinnamon Lounge for making my 30th party one to remember!

Great food and waiting staff. It's great to see a streamlined menu, we've not had a meal that has missed the mark yet. Definitely recommend eating in over take out, if you can. Rita has been great

I only visited this place for takeaway service. But it seems it caters for a lot of night outs from the local West Middlesex Hospital, prior to the pandemic. The takeaway order was quick and tasted fantastic! I had ordered the vegetarian lunch box, which had quite generous portion, very tasty and healthy. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The interior is very spacious and can host large gatherings, which is probably why this is the chosen venue for meetings and dos from the local hospital. Luch deals are definitely recommended!

We tried buffet food here over the weekend. The food is good, but limited options for vegetarian. There should be more options added to makd it worth of money. We later got to know that they provide veg biryani as complement to chicken biryani and the staff are really cooperative. Food - 4/5 Staff - 5/5 Ambience - 3/5 Buffet options for vegetarian - 2/5 Buffet options for non-vegetarian - 4/5

Fabulous food, real depth of flavours. I cannot remember the name of the green chicken dish, but every single person on our table, loved it. Just a shame that we weren't heading home, so had to leave the leftovers behind. The service was delightful, attentive and diligent, without being a nuisance. Empty bottles and glasses were removed and water refreshed, without anyone needing to ask. Lots of delicious vegetarian options. Plenty of off-road parking. Such a shame you don't deliver to Somerset!!!

The food and service at cinnamon lounge was impeccable! Food turned up less than 10 mins after ordering. The naans were super soft and light. Karahi chicken just right and so was the daal makhani. Service by Rita was amazing! She was attentive and friendly. Food has always been a plus point at cinnamon but so good to see the staff overshadowing the food. Brilliant! Thanks Rita.

We stopped off at the Cinnamon Lounge at about 8.15 on a Friday - although we’ve had a delivery in the past this was our first time eating in. No problem getting a table and the service was friendly and attentive (Rita was really helpful). The food came quickly when ordered - a Dahl Papri Chat to share followed by Kadai Chicken and Methi Matar Malai with breads. All rich and delicious. It’s a very family friendly place and other diners varied from those on their own to large family groups. It was just a little quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere. But the fantastic food more than made up for this!

Hei Hing is a cozy and intimate eatery, operated by a close-knit family, offering an impressive selection of noodle, rice, and various other dishes. The serving sizes seemed slightly smaller compared to before the pandemic but still of good quality. The service was prompt and attentive. It was evident that they had a steady flow of takeout orders due to the restaurant's small size with frequent visitors coming in and out. The food was exceptional, accompanied by outstanding customer service.
Fantastic open house atmosphere, food all fresh and no scrimping on ingredients. We really enjoyed it.

This place never disappoints! The owner is so lovely and friendly! The two waitresses also had perfect customer service which felt very genuine and friendly! Then as always the food is perfect - very affordable and huge portion sizes! Altogether the best restaurant in the area!
Jonny Cruz — Google review
A small (25 covers I counted) family run eating place with a fine range of noodle, rice and other dishes. The portion size appeared slightly smaller than pre pandemic but the quality was good. Service was swift and attentive. They were doing a brisk business in takeaways when I was there and being a small place it is noticeable with people frequently in and out.
Laurence Ferrier — Google review
This is a lovely, local chinese restaurant which serves various dishes. For starters, we got the har gau which stuck to the paper which was sad, I urge the restaurant to use different paper in the basket but it was still nice. We got sesame prawn toast which was fantastic, as was the calamari and vegetable spring rolls. The fried vegetable tempura is also good. For the main we got the beef chow kway teow which was fantastic, so flavourful. We also got the prawn Malaysian curry which was my personally favourite. Service was amazing and so was the ambience. Our bill totalled roughly £60 and I would definitely recommend visiting.

Fantastic food and excellent service! We visited with my family from Richmond and all of us were so pleased! Thank you, we will be back soon!

Very friendly staff & good service. The food was delicious - everything tasted very fresh and the portion size was really good. The only improvement is that I could have had my noodles more spicy as they were listed as 'hot' on the menu, but I couldn't detect any spice. An interesting menu with things that are sometimes a bit more tricky to find in an Asian restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
Shannon HG — Google review
An amazing little place with great food, epic portions and fast and friendly service. Good for a casual dine in experience and for takeaway as well. We have tried many different items on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet!

The restaurant is small and very noisy, the toilet door works funny The service is OK, however only in terms of being fast. A dirty plate was brought and salt was absent (( The food was good, but nothing special for this price. I ordered the rice with prawns and chicken, but got only 2 prawns in a bowl. Can't recommend it.

Friendly Service and Beef with Black Bean Sauce was very tasty.

The previous reviews didn’t lie. The food here and the customer service were absolutely amazing. I meant to take some photos, but completely forgot after my first Korean chicken bite and it was just subsequent face stuffing action after that aha. I highly recommend visiting if you love East Asian cuisine as much as I do! Major flavour in the Korean chicken bites, fresh prawn toast, HK roast pork and Yaki Udon

It's been about 4 years since I last visited Hei Hing. I came with my daughter to reminisce the good food, friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Being over 6 foot 4 I did find the space a little tight, but good experience all-round.

Restaurant
Thai Restaurant Tiger Lily is a serene and sophisticated eatery with an outdoor terrace adorned with bamboo screens, providing an enchanting setting to savor authentic Thai cuisine. The overall atmosphere, warm hospitality, tasteful decor and delectable dishes make it an exceptional dining experience. Notably, the chicken satay is incredibly flavorsome and the chicken Tom yum soup is highly enjoyable. While the crispy veggies may have been slightly overwhelmed by the batter coating, their taste was still delightful.
Awesome Thai food. The best so far. The girl server know the menu like the back of her hand and the dishes she recommended were the best. Beautiful ambience and soft music to compliment the location. Worth every penny spend.

In my fifth visit to this outstanding Thai gem, I was treated to an unforgettable dining experience. The waitress, an absolute gem, showcased remarkable knowledge, unparalleled politeness, and genuine friendliness. Her recommendations have now become my must-order choices, adding to the already flavorful array of dishes. The Thai green curry, a personal favorite, never disappoints. The restaurant itself exudes cleanliness, impeccable tidiness, and a tastefully presented interior. Without a doubt, this is a place that demands a visit to fully appreciate its excellence. Highly recommended for an exceptional culinary journey.

I went to Tiger Lily for a working lunch we ate in the restuarant. The staff were phenomenal, the food is fantastic, well presented, well served and delivered. Caters for all diets. Probably one of the best places in Osterly a very relaxing atmosphere and good menu/selection of food. See photos. Great experiance. Would recommend.

Travelled down from Scotland with my wife as we were being treated for a meal by my elder brother to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was 80% full. Shown straight to our table. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Answered any questions that we had. Ordered 3 starters to share & 3 mains with rice & noodles. Starters arrived within 15 minutes and were all excellent. Mains arrived 10 minutes after the starter dishes were cleared away. Again, all the dishes were excellent. Great food, excellent atmosphere & the staff were very friendly whilst providing really excellent service. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favourite Thai places to come to when visiting London. Food and service are both great however I give it a 4 as it's always slightly cold when sitting inside. Meat is all halal and is cooked well. It has a friendly environment for both couples and family with kids. Order: Starters: Chicken dumplings Crispy prawns Mains: Weeping tiger Chow mein noodles King prawn stir fry Egg fired rice I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area.

You get to eat some lovely Thai food at Tiger Lilly. The Ambience, hospitality, decor and the food is really good. The chicken satay is really tasty and even the chicken Tom yum soup is delicious 🤤. The crispy veggies was coated a little too much with the batter but it had the right taste and blend. Green curry was perfect with a lot of veggies and chicken and the spice level was perfect. Highly recommend to try the green curry. The mango pot was too delicious 😋 👌

Saddly, this restaurant does not use fish sauce in their cooking at all...Hardly authentic as their website claims then. The basic ingredients of Thai dressings are balancing the flavours of fish sauce, lime and sugar. Can make more authentic Thai food at home! Shame as the menu had some nice sounding dishes. Low rating is for the food as the waiting staff were nice.

Cafe
Restaurant
Greedies is an excellent establishment that offers a wide variety of food options to cater to different tastes. It can get crowded during lunchtime, and the restroom, located adjacent to the kitchen, tends to be chilly due to ventilation practices. However, sitting in the conservatory is enjoyable, and their kids' breakfast portion is suitable for adults on a diet. The eggs Royal and avocado with poached eggs on toast are particularly delightful. The staff members are friendly and efficient.
Had the Full Vegan House Breakfast and added avocado as an extra. Big portion, pleasant experience, reasonable price, definitely will return!

Brilliant place offering all types of grub to suit the pallet! Around lunchtime can get busy, toilet freezing as backs on to kitchen and I think they like to air it out! Conservatory nice to sit in, kids 4 item breakfast good size for a diet portion for an adult, eggs Royal lovely as was avocado and poached eggs on toast! Staff lovely and efficient. Could do with menus with full options available on instead of just on the boards though!

Great English Breakfast and fast service. Can get busy at peak hours, but definately worth the wait.
Dennis — Google review
5 of us visited and the food was what you'd expect from a cafe; good stuff, simple and tasty. Unfortunately the price and service just isn't value for money and we agreed we won't be going back. Checked the menu on their website to save time but prices on the chalk menu board were all higher. If you're paying £8.50 for a breakfast you at least expect flexibility but they DO NOT like requests at all. This is even written on the set menu to be fair but I've never been in a cafe (and I've been in a lot) that employ that stance and rudely stand by it. A tea/coffee comes with set meals. 1 of the group doesn't drink tea/coffee so politely asked for a juice instead. The snapped response was, "That's £2.75 more". Canned drink instead? "1.50". He paid the extra and they didn't even chuck the free tea on the table. Note - unlike most cafes, a latte is not included in the 'free coffee'. 1 of our group assumed it was until he was charged extra with no explanation. Another of the group had to pay an extra £1 to have eggs scrambled instead of fried. You'd think the cook would at least scramble the eggs. Nope, just a gelatinous blob of powdered egg slapped on the plate to remind you of school dinners circa 1993. £9.50 and ya wouldn't scramble eggs?!? Tip... order things individually to save money! Poached eggs are £1.20 each Toast is £1.00 Want 2 poached eggs on toast? That's £4.00 on the menu so save £0.60 by asking for it separately. We weren't brave enough to test this theory and I see a tense staredown if ya pointed out the loophole and tried it. The place is clean, well laid out and easy to park near. The food is what it is. For us the cost, inflexible approach and unfriendly staff just made it a rubbish experience.

Stopped here for breakfast as I wanted to get myself a proper full English for my first real day in London. Came in here because the vibe of the place seemed quite nice. Breakfast was lovely.
Christopher Curzio — Google review
A large breakfast with tasty coffee - they are always busy which affects how quick food arrives, but it is worth the wait. I must admit, I have had tastier veggie sausages. They have a lot of space and a large conservatory right at the back which is well insulted but a little bit cooler than being inside.
Sabina — Google review
Well today was a disaster. Queued for 15 minutes (behind only 10 people) and then waited a further 30 for food. 45 minutes later and the parking meter expiring I had to put a further £6.40 in the meter (the lowest fee the meter would allow). Food itself is okay although the scrambled eggs is more of microwave job. Its okay here but definately not as good as it used to be. Moving toward being more greasy spoon with premium pricing.
charlotte bailey — Google review
Nice café, but gets very busy at the weekend and kitchen gets overloaded. Waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches which is crazy. Several other customers were experiencing the exact same problem too. Food was great, when it arrived.
Matthew Standen — Google review
I've been coming here for years now as I work close and it's convenient. However, the prices have shot up dramatically almost over night. My favourite sandwich was £5.50 before, now its £.7.30! I doubt il be coming here again as many other restaurants beat that price. It's a shame.

Mediocre food. We ordered the eggs royal and it came with so much salt (and I normally like a bit of salt...) They have no baby changing facility so I asked the staff (who wasn't that friendly) where I could change my baby. One lady told me at the back and when I went there, another lady had "a go" saying I couldn't. So we left. Would not recommend!

Served raw chicken...twice! Ordered the chicken kebab and when I first cut into it I noticed it the center was raw. I asked them if they could cook it and after a few minutes the plate returns with some of the chunks still raw in the middle. When I pointed this out, I was told that this is served every day....and what I was seeing was food colouring...it wasn't, it was raw chicken. I was asked if I wanted something else but after this experience I couldn't trust them anymore. I've been coming here for a long time and it is unlikely that I'll be back

Parking is decent. Right outside you can park for an hour for free from 9-5 Walked in and placed an order with quite possibly the most surly host ever. Even though I greeted with what I thought was a friendly "Good morning" I got nothing in return. Ordered the food and paid. No smile, no politeness. Food arrived quite quickly and tasted amazing. Sausages weren't as spicy as I'm used to, but leant more to the frankfurter end than English sausage. They were still amazing. The jacket potato was so filling out it couldn't be finished. Food good enough to return for but the surliness of the staff is enough to give my money elsewhere.

It's been years since I stepped into Greedies. Took my husband there for the first time and they were not disappointed. Ordered the omelette and eggs royal. Omelette was FILLING and delicious. The eggs royale was so good, if it had a liiil more hollandaise sauce it would have been perfect. It's no wonder why this place is still thriving in the area. I'll be back
Lawrentino Santiago-Rose — Google review
We went there for brunch on Sunday. As we are not local decided to follow our friends recommendation for a brunch place in Isleworth. All together for eggs royal, ‘world cup’ breakfast, two coffees and one glass of orange juice we have paid over £28. The price wouldn’t have been too bad if the food was delicious, but... my eggs royal were hard boiled (see photos), by boyfriend’s most expensive full English was without beans (they said were were supposed to choose either beans or tomato but nobody asked us when ordering!) When we asked about the beans the lady didn’t even offer them at extra price or apologized. We also asked for well done scrambled eggs but they came quite runny. The place looked a bit dirty and I think they need more staff as they clearly were too busy to clean after the customers leave. I give them 2 stars for great freshly squeezed orange juice - it was delicious.
