Seafood restaurant
Ristorante BOOMERANG offers a simple and unpretentious dining experience, devoid of any elaborate decor or menu. The establishment prides itself on serving a wide variety of freshly caught seafood, sourced directly from the fishing boat each morning. Patrons can enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast at a remarkably affordable fixed price of 30. To build up an appetite, one can take a leisurely stroll on the beautiful beach in the nearby Foce del Belice national park.
All the dishes were absolutely amazing, wine and water included. There is no menu it's all fish. Bring a big appetite as you will not go away hungry. Service was fantastic. Be prepared to eat without much conversation as the food just keeps coming. The place has a very laid-back atmosphere, so everyone should be able to enjoy dinner here. I believe they open at 7pm for dinner only. Thank you, Rick. Jan, 1st, 2024

This was probably the best restaurant for fish I’ve ever eaten at. Super fresh, cooked perfectly no fancy sauces to cover the gorgeous various tastes all the fishes served had to offer and believe me, there were more plates served than we could possibly consume. Our server was kind and gave us a lot of attention, his parents are the chefs and they’re amazing. All the food served from local olive oil to super just made canaloni were out of this world. If you doubled the price it would still be a bargain! If you don’t eat at Boomerang you’ve missed the very best Sicily has to offer. The day was spent visiting the archeological park which was unique and wonderful but to end a perfect day and sit down and dine at this very romantic restaurant was the real pleasure of our trip and lovely Selinunte 😋

excellent fish! Five plates of fish, fruits, desert and digestive in the dinner menu. Phenomenal experience! ❤️

What a disappointment after all these positive reviews. Quantity over quality. All oily fish and served at the speed of light. In and out in an hour and we tried hard to slow them down. In fact at 9:15 they tried to make us leave while the restaurant was supposed to be open until 11pm all in all and Interesting experience but never again. Tomorrow we will go back to a nice trattoria and enjoy the traditional Italian cuisine.

Simple yet amazing place with fixed menu. You just come, sit and relax waiting for the surprise fish of the day. All 4 courses of the fish were amazing! It was cooked so perfectly that you don't need to spend time cleaning it from bones. Wine, water and limoncelo or espresso are provided as well. For dessert we got cannolies and grapes 🤤. The total price for all is 30€ per person

Amazing seafood, no menu, but you don’t need one. Sit back and the fish keeps coming. I didn’t get pictures of all of the plates, so go hungry. Everything was delicious and for 25 euro per person, you can’t go wrong. Save a little room for the cannoli, it’s heavenly

The set up is 30 euro per person for whatever the menu is of the day is. This for us two was a bottle of wine, 5 different fish each , Big bowl of salad, big basket of bread, Canoli, and a digestive. All the food was fantastic but the customer service was appalling. On a Sunday night in March there was one other couple eating one waiter and the chefs. As soon as the other couple left the waiter started playing on his phone with volume at max, we could hear it over the background music, the other couple were offered a choice of digestive we were just given one. We felt like they really could not be bothered it made a memorable evening for us but, for all the wrong reasons.

This def a local gem and favorite. The owner is also the Fisherman who catches fresh seafood during the day and he cooks for you at night. There is no menu, you come in, sit down, then he prepares the 7 courses dinner for you with a bottle of wine. You could learn and discover different local seafood and he cooks the dishes mostly on the grill with very simple seasoning so the guests could taste the freshness of the fish. When the restaurant gets full and busy, you can see the wife and family come in to help him. The best part is the whole dinner only cost €25 per person and you could have the best local seafood experience with Sicilian charm and style.

We had an excellent meal. Looks can be deceiving so ignore the external appearance. If you like fish this is the place to go. Superbly cooked, as when taking the bone out it peeled off beautifully leaving the tasty fish ready to eat. No menu is offered- just fish delivered to your table and it keeps on coming. We had 5 varieties, Cod, Red Mullet, mackerel, smoked mackerel fillet and one other that we forgot to ask. A real feast and sadly a bit too much for us to finish. Loved the concept of just trusting the chef and the fresh fish. Thanks

I have no words, this was the best restaurant with the sea food I have ever been . For only 25 eur you get an offer all you can eat ( 5 courses + dessert). Wine is also included in the price. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The place has homey atmosphere. Its a must go stop if you are traveling trough.

Restaurant
Ristoranti Ristorante Pierrot is a superb dining establishment situated in Marina di Selinunte. This eatery offers a remarkable combination of delectable seafood and pizza, all while providing an enchanting sea view. The pizzas, prepared in the classic Sicilian style, boast a delightful contrast between their crispy exteriors and soft, chewy centers. While prices are average for a tourist area, the attentive staff ensure that guests receive top-notch service without delay.
No pizzas before dinner sadly, as everywhere around though. But if you are coming in the evening it's the best place out here.

Good wine , salad and couscous. The couscous was fairly small and not special, with only a small piece of fish on it. Great ice creams (hazelnuts, pistachios and berries). Service is excellent, efficient, kind and some waiters speak English and French. Nice view

Great seafood and pizza restaurant in Marina di Selinunte. It has a nice Sea view. The pizza is particularly good in classic sicilian style: crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle. Prices are average for a tourist area. Staff is very attentive. Fast service.

The best pizza we had so far in Sicily. Delicious dough, fresh ingredients. They also serve delicious pasta and home made deserts. Nice and invisible service. Definitely worth to visit.

Restaurant
La Pineta Ristorante - Lido - Bar is a hidden gem that may be challenging to secure a table at, particularly for dinner. However, the effort is well worth it. This establishment offers beachside dining with the soothing sounds of the ocean as its backdrop, creating a unique and memorable experience. The cuisine showcased in their pictures speaks volumes about its quality, and their friendly staff ensures an enjoyable visit.
This restaurant is a true jem! Not easy to find a table, especially for dinner, but once you do you won't regret it at all! You dine on the beach, next to the sea and the sound of the weaves makes it very particular. The food is also great as you can see from the pictures. The staff is very friendly but don't expect to eat and leave on a rush, a place like this deserves its time to be enjoyed. Lastly, the access to the restaurant is very dark so use your mobile light!

I had a lovely dinner a “La Pineta”. We’ve tried to book many times before managing to get a reservation, but it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious and we had a lovely dinner on the beach. I’ve been reading many bad reviews about unfriendly staff, but we had a very positive experience here. I can definitely recommend it for dinner!

Good food, but a bit pricey. We had spaghetti siciliana & tomate con melanzana, each for 9€.

Came here for my mums 80th. top location on beach accessed by steps from north… Lovely staff and great food… enjoyed clams, calamari, brilliant grilled prawns and fish all washed down with some Ichnusa beer… highly recommend

We entered the place and asked for a table. We were immediately seated on the terrace with a sea view. We said we wanted to have a drink first and maybe eat later. The waiter said very unpleasantly: "This is a restaurant, you have to eat. Mind you, the restaurant was almost empty! We then had to go to a forecourt where we could have a drink. We ordered a bottle of water and two coffees. Then, without being asked, the bill came after about 10 minutes and they indirectly asked us to leave. We were happy to leave.

It's a bit intimidating to write a review for a restaurant whose owner reacts to negative reviews with sarcastic comments (e.g. 'You are ridiculous'), but never acknowledges positive ones... However, we were there on Friday, 27th August and spent the day in their 'lido'. We took an umbrella with two beds for 25 euro, the other lines were 20 (2nd-3rd row) and 15 (the other ones). We paid 5 euro for an extra bed. The sea was perfect, the beach clean. I missed the services linked to a paid day in an equipped beach: we found out that the shower was for payment (1 euro, but we were in four) and our visit to the restrooms was shocking (imagine a day with two small kids, where you cannot even approach the toilet, it's so dirty). We found the bar staff nice and available, they insisted on respecting mask wearing inside the bar, hand sanitizer available at the entrance, very professional. We had our table booked for the evening in their restaurant and this was a strange experience: - the chief waiter (restaurant manager?) was unfriendly and he obviously didn't care for reviews. However, the younger waiters were really kind. - the food was good. I would not recommend their mussel soup: the sauce was good, but I (also) found the mussels dirty (they were not washed properly before cooked, which can be dangerous). The octopus salad was enjoyable. The main dishes we ordered (pasta with clams, pasta with 'San Pietro' fish eggs and couscous with fish soup) were delicious. All this with two glasses of white wine and a beer for 100 euro, acceptable for a dinner on soft beach sand lit by torches. So, if you want to eat good food and don't care about service, this is the right place to go in Selinunte.

we had delicious lunch here. Mussles and grilled fish
Sandra Gomboš — Google review
If you are a fan of dining while festering in the open sewage and bin smells that seem very common in this part of Sicily then you will love it here. Only when a very strong smelling plate of fish arrived at the table did it briefly mask the stench. If you manage to stay here long enough to get your food you will be very disappointed too, just about acceptable but definitely nothing special.

Lido Zabbara is a charming beachside spot with a lovely view of the Selinunte acropolis. The restaurant offers delicious, freshly grilled local seafood and pasta dishes. Visitors can enjoy a generous salad buffet and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. The place is popular for its fresh fish, grilled to perfection, and its familial and friendly atmosphere. It's an ideal location for a quick, affordable lunch by the sea.
This restaurant is a true hidden gem! Just had lunch and it is packed. Buffet salad is delicious but pasta shrimp and pistachio is fantastic. Then grilled sardines on a stick- perfect!! Throw in the view of the sea and it’s an ideal lunch location!!

Beach restaurant with a view on the Selinunte temples. The friendly staff will guide you through the simple but tasty dishes - the veggie antipasti buffet is highly recommended.

Nice restaurant directly on the beach. Friendly service, generous salad buffet, beautifully grilled local seafood (as fresh as it gets!) and delicious Pasta alla Norma. Great place to have a quick, affordable lunch in the area.

Lido, the temporary home of Studio Spiaggia! A magical spot made possible thanks to its beautiful people. Fresh fish, delicious drinks, and of course, its fantastic beach.

Geweldige locatie op het strand. Straalt iets moois uit. Eten was heerlijk. Vis hebben we in de vitrine aangewezen. Fijne en vriendelijke bediening. (Translated by Google) Great location on the beach. Radiates something beautiful. Food was delicious. We pointed out fish in the display case. Nice and friendly service.

Delicious food (fresh grilled fish and pasta) and attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere. There's no menu: you choose the fish and then it's grilled. Been there twice because we liked it so much.
Simon Berger — Google review
Avoid the salad bar and you will have a better experience. It's fresh, but way overpriced and impossible to protect from flies. Go with the fresh fish, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The view and the service were both very nice.
Rubia Modelo — Google review
Lovely spot above the beach (from which you can also rent loungers). The food was good (the salad buffet felt a little over-priced but the sardines and aranchina were great). From the beach you can see the Selinunte acropolis which is pretty special.

Dag losteria a'mmare ristorante pizzeria offers excellent quality pizza, pasta, and seafood dishes. The service provided is also exceptional. However, the only drawback is that they do not serve pizza during lunch hours despite being a pizzeria. Nevertheless, many customers have enjoyed dining here for dinner multiple times. This establishment showcases exquisite cuisine with beautifully presented dishes. Customers have raved about the antipasti and delicious pasta options that make them want to return again and again.
Very nice place with beautiful dishes. Went here for lunch. Great plate of antipasti and fabulous pasta with a taste that says: come back!

Pizza, pasta & seafood are all top notch here. The service is also on point. Only reason they don't get 5 stars from me is due to the face they don't serve pizza at lunch when they are a pizzeria. I still ate here twice for dinner though!
Michael Fisher — Google review
One of the best restaurants in this little town. Situated on the beach front with a beautiful view, Dag has a varied menu of classic Italian dishes (pizza, pasta and fish) that would make anyone happy. The service is friendly for the most part - it gets quite busy so understandably the waiters are rushed at times. A couple of them had conversational English, which helped us when we had to mention a dietary requirement. The food is all rustic and delicious, I had the bolognese one time and the carbonara another - both times the pasta was fresh and the sauces rich in flavour. I ordered the calamari on both visits, which was consistently tender and tasty! It would have been perfect if served with some lemon mayonnaise or tartare sauce. My dining partner had pizza, which was also good. The dough was on the thicker side and perhaps slightly too much cheese (and we love cheese!). Full of locals, which is surely a good sign! Why have I not given 5 stars? The meals didn't blow me away but they were consistent, tasty and up to standard - I would recommend eating here.

Everything was perfect. I ate Risotto, Spaghetti (homemade) and Pizza and any of them were more than great! 👍🏼 Even the waitress and the waiter were very nice and can speak English as well. 😁 Thank you very much for your service.😊👌🏽

Lovely mixed fish grill and risotto. Nice service, seems popular with locals, not brilliant setting and shame about the non-stop Rolling Stones on the hifi. Also beware the random 10% maggiorazione!
