I came here on a Wednesday ( first night of the week opening) . We were so amazed by the choices and quality came back to try other choices on the menu. Definitely come back when i come up here again

Beautiful Italian restaurant set right in the heart of a fantastic village. The food was superb and the staff very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Came here for a Saturday dinner with family. Very friendly staff who were always on hand to chat with. Food tasted great with good amount of food, definitely would recommend the Tiramisu.

We went with our daughter who was down from Scotland, were warmly welcomed. All of us enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Plenty of variety on the menu which is supplemented by specials. Quality of food is really excellent, from a talented and competent chef, as is the attentive and very friendly service. Great atmosphere. Very popular so advance booking is advisable. Cannot fault it. Highly recommended

We went here for New years eve. Absolutely fantastic evening. Food drink entertainment and service were outstanding.

We had a gorgeous lunch here with our little Ones and friends. The food so delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating - Chatting to the children and helping to keep them entertained with colouring while we ate. The chef is fabulous. Absolutely loved our visit and can’t wait to come back ❤️

I had a fabulous dining experience at this restaurant with my family members. We ordered 2 starters and 4 mains including mussels, aubergine, lamb rump, seafood spaghetti, beef pizza and tortelllone, They are all very delicious. The staffs are kind, polite and friendly. Will definitely go again when I next visit New Castle.

After many successful years in Prudhoe, the owners relocated to Corbridge some years ago. Today, it's bloomed further into a real destination Italian restaurant & wine bar in the oasis of the Tyne Valley. Tasty live entertainment is also on the menu from time to time. The easiest way to review this place is to advise you to go & enjoy the experience - soon.

Meal tonight was absolutely amazing. Great service . Lovely section of wines . Had the fillet steak. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely return when next in the area .

A little gem, unique micro pub inside a pele tower over 3 floors, worth the visit for the building alone but good beer as well. What's not to like? Didn't have food hence rating. Not sure food available.

This is indeed a hidden gem. Situated in a church tower, you could easily pass by without noticing it, but that would be a big disappointment. With an outside space and two floors within the tower, The Pele provides a great choice of craft ales. The upper floors are reached by an ancient stone staircase. Keep your head down, but any bumped heads are worth it for the unique setting

Super little place. The owners have done an exemplary job of restoration. Welcome is warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble. A little gem, more than worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. Dog friendly as a nice bonus.

Really unusual and unique but also so friendly and genuinely welcoming. Many thanks especially to amazing Ashley and regular Mark who made us laugh so much. Beware the stairs but well worth it for a weird and wonderful climb back into history and wee nook of comfort and cookieness

Worth a visit to view the inside of this building stairs quite steep quirky interior which is in keeping with the building little bit cold on the second floor no fire on and it was cold outside

We were advised to visit this little bar on our trip to Corbridge, just wow!!! History in a tiny tower, over 3 floors. It's just beautiful. We explored the 3 floors, took photos then had drinks outside in the sun. We'll definitely be going back as it made our 1st trip to Corbridge even better. Paula and Steven xx

Great wee pub and coffee shop. Historical, warm and cosy. Amazing interior with steep steps to the wonderful 1st and 2nd floors. Well worth a visit.

Charming little place which has been adapted for use in a very considerate way. The local beers it sells are good and the coffee was very well received. Obviously the stairs can be a bit tricky but there is still the downstairs and outside space you can use. The person serving was very nice. Overall it is certainly worth a look around and it is a sympathetic use of an old building.

Wow! What an incredible place. It really is unique. It's on several floors, with a mezzanine level. Steep, tight, concrete, original stairways leading to different floors and rooms. So we'll decorated. Live music, on certain evenings and times. A selection of wines for sale on the groundfloor, as well as a lovely bar area. Barman was welcome and friendly. Loved every bit of it !!

Absolutely wonderful time having a few drinks celebrating our anniversary talking away to Anthony the bar man, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Also one of the most unique bars in the whole of the United Kingdom

Very interesting and atmospheric pub in an original Pele Tower right in the heart of Corbridge. They make their own beer. The bar is in the vaulted ground floor area, and there are two floors of tables and armchairs upstairs, up a steep and narrow stairway (not suitable for disabled people), plus tables in the pedestrianised street outside. Definitely recommended for a quirky and friendly venue.

We absolutely love this unique spot in Corbridge. It has been tastefully refurbished inside to allow seating on three floors. These are accessed by typical narrow steep and narrow medieval staircases but don't let this stop you as the ground floor is cosy and atmospheric. They serve a great selection of draft beers and have a well stock spirits and wine bar. This is a great start or stop off on a night out in Corbridge.

An amazing place to visit that is a historical building with bar and table/seating modernisation. Ashley was a lovely host, ( enjoy Isle of Man, thanks for the tea).

Been here a couple of times lately. Always forgot it existed, but glad I remember now! Good choice of drinks, massive beer garden, nice bar with brilliant staff. Highly recommend visiting

Fabulous food. Very welcoming. Extensive menu and reasonably priced. Waiters/ess very attentive. We sat inside although they have a outside space. We loved it so much we will definitely return soon

Your quintessential friendly local pub. Good basic food. We had lunch while passing through, but it’s the kind of place to spend a few evening hours while consuming a few pints.

Nice beer garden tother rear of this pub. Stopped for a pint and hot beef sandwich, this included chips and gravy. Spot on. I would definitely go again.

The Blue Bell is a fantastic pub with a good choice of beers, right in the heart of Corbridge. The locals were friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were exceptional and made a big effort to make us feel part of their wonderful pub. Can't wait to go back!

We came to Corbridge for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago. Lots of pubs in Corbridge but we stumbled upon this little gem. It's the locals pub and was perfect for us & our dog Albert. The ladies at the bar are so friendly, loved having Albert there too. We went a couple of nights and both nights got chatting to some locals, they too couldn't have been more welcoming. There are about 4/5 other pubs in town where tourists would go but we didn't even bother with those. We didn't need eat there. We are hoping to make Corbridge a yearly getaway and will definitely be making the Blue Bell our place to drink! Thank you to you all.

Brilliant pub especially if you have a dog with you. Really nice atmosphere. Everyone so friendly and welcoming, especially the young lady who served me, offered to fetch bowl of water for my dog and also brought a handful of treats for her! Was only looking for a snack and had been turned away by 2 cafes in Corbridge because of the dog. So glad they did! The food was lovely, I had a jacket potato which was perfect and with a really good fresh salad with a lovely dressing. Happy dog, very happy owner!

Lovely pub service was exceptional, very friendly staff with a lovely open fire. All home cooked food, had the hot beef stottie and chips 🍟 just amazing

Real family and positive atmosphere here where you can enjoy a proper roast dinner for Sunday lunch...good luck in trying to eat it all! Oh...dog friendly too

We didn't have any food as we had booked elsewhere & we just popped in until our table was ready. This is a really clean & friendly pub and has a nice family vibe, very warm & friendly. They were hosting a charity night and we had a great time enjoying the fun. We wish we had stayed especially after a poor experience at the Angel where the food and the atmosphere was very poor. It used to be a great pub but I'll be visiting the Blue Bell in future.

Ordered the most fabulous fresh tasting take away sandwiches. It was carefully wrapped, kind of a bag within a wrapper so when we decided to eat it was still as appealing and wasnt squished in our back packs. Would heartily recommend

What a lovely friendly place with a wide variety of delicious food available. The place was busy though and now I know why. I had a delightful lunch here, sandwich, side salad, drink and wonderful carrot cake for £14.

Very good selection and good quality produce.... Dog Friendly.... inexpensive. Advocado on sour dough with bacon, full breakfast one with fried and other with poached.. French Toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup with cinnamon sugar... Sid the dog waiting for a titbit.....

Stopped for a bite and had a lovely and large sandwich at the Corbridge Larder. Very helpful and pleasant staff and great shop. We bought speciality tea and artisan chocolate - both fabulous. Will return for cheese! Recommended!

This place is wonderful and very popular. Food is amazing and the coffee and tea selection was amazing. Fantastic vegi/vegan options and catered for my wife's dairy allergy offering to make anything on the menu dairy free where possible.

Second visit, happy days on both occasions, equals a galaxy of stars. Today, Corbridge Deli sandwich (the Pastrami hadn’t arrived so improvised with ham), I may have to ask for the updated Corbridge Deli next time, the ham worked wonderfully. Denise had tomato soup. Carrot and Apricot cake for me, coffee and walnut cake for Denise. The coffee was fantastic. As you leave there’s always that game of can you pass by the Deli on the way out without sir coming to temptation, of course you can’t, and why on earth would you want to. Enjoy the cafe and theDeli it’s a fantastic place with food and service to match.

We had a lovely breakfast here, and it’s not hugely advertised but they have gluten free bread which was amazing as their french toast! Will return.

Friendly and prompt service, delicious food. Possibly the best cheese scone I have ever eaten. Very pleased we stumbled on this place on our travels. Highly recommended!

We didn't book and arrived at opening time for breakfast. There are hand sanitiser stations at the entrance of the shop and the cafe. The cafe staff were really friendly and wore masks. We were asked for track and trace details. The breakfast menu was varied and reasonably priced. The marmalade we were given was made on site and delicious. We bought a small jar to take home.

Breakfast. Full larder breakfast today . Really nice and filling no complaints. Followed by a strawberry smoothie wow that's so tasty . My wife had melon one gorgeous.. followed with baked potato with cheese and chives with pineapple outstanding she said . This is a lovely cafe pristine clean. Also gluten free available. I can see this lovely little spot being overlooked by passers by due to a instagramable grants opposite. But after working in Corbridge and trying both id never go anywhere else than here. Best bait shop in Corbridge. Wraps unbelievable served with a smile too. Tried a brownie today never had one like it!

Had the most amazing chicken salad there. Unlike most salads, it was full of a variety of ingredients (not just lettuce and tomato!). Potato salad, pasta salad, beansprouts and loads of other good stuff were packed in there. Great value and delicious food.

Stopped by today to grab a late lunch in the form of a Mexican Chicken sandwich, it was fresh and tasted great. Karen is very welcoming and attentive, what more could you ask for!

very friendly staff however having arrived at only 1:00 in the afternoon they were out of ham meaning I wasn't able to get what I wanted off the menu, they should make sure they have a big enough supply of everything they need for the menu to last the whole day to avoid this problem, other than that all good.
