We were very lucky to get a last minute bar table on Mother’s Day but it wasn’t quite worth it! The staff were lovely (slow but it was busy). The food was very expensive for what it was, it didn’t have much taste. The starter risotto was quite big but very bland and the steak with scallop and prawn main was not cooked very well. We asked for rare but it was definitely medium and it was very chewy. Scallops cooked well though! Not sure we’ll be back!

Food seemed to highlight Asian and that spilt over onto British basic food - the addition seemed to suffocate the food flavours. Maybe I'm too old to appreciate all the food fighting for attention! A tad on the expensive side we felt. Little cohesion with staff - not knowing who was bringing what.

Nice setup seems very busy always a good sign. Had a set course meal which was well worth it. Great service and friendly staff. Great for seafood. Would recommend.

Dinner for two. We had Grouville Bay Oysters as starters. My wife enjoyed a lot. Main menus were Sri Lankan Curry and Pan Roast Seabass. I was amassed by Sri Lankan curry as it had really Sri Lankan taste (I am from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰) 👌. Superb meal. My self and wife highly recommend this fresh delicious meal if you visit Jersey. Thank you for the amazing evening.

4 of us from the UK having a 3 day break on Jersey have just tonight been in the salty dog and my God we were all blown away by the food and because we are all either late 50' or early 60' have been very privileged to have eaten in many restaurants across the world and would possibly say this is some of the best food we have eaten. Also would like to say a big thank you to all the table service staff who were so helpful and polite with very fast table service with all the having great sense of humour and great smiles. Who ever owns this restaurant I have got to say your staff are a credit to your company. Kind regards Rob &Jane south London.

The calamari and the curry is really nice and flavorful. However, the steak is just okay, ordered the medium well, came out completely cooked. The waiting time between starters and mains is way too long.

Best Sunday lunch in a long time, fantastic atmosphere and the staff were helpful and friendly. To top it all we had live music... And did I mention the menu is extensive, loads of choice. Can't recommend highly enough

My first time here. A very mixed bag. My partner's black bream was absolutely sensational! Cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours. My Keralan curry was devoid of flavour and extremely disappointing. Even after adding salt and pepper neither of us could taste much. I'd go back for the bream in a heartbeat but I'd be very hesitant to try anything else. I don't really want to waste my time and money on a restaurant to take a gamble. So I'm really torn about returning. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was lovely. If you do decide to go. Please do try the bream.

We had our staff Christmas doo here and we couldn't have felt more welcome. Thanks Salty team! P.S. the crispy duck salad was AMAZING... as were all dishes served. Well presented, tasty and served timely. What more could you ask for.

Food was lovely. The starters were slightly disappointing, the asparagus and the prawn came with the calamari were a bit bland. The seabass with scallops was quite nice. The vibe in the restaurant is quite relaxing.

Dinner for two. Started off a bit rocky, we asked for a particular bottle of wine. Opted for the Chilean, but were brought the NZ. Turns out they didn't have any Chilean. On the plus side we were charged for the Chilean which was £5 cheaper. The food was great, tasty and good portion size. We certainly weren't rushed, we were given time between courses. It was busy but the staff seemed on top of it. Would go again.

Nice food, good service. This was one of favourite during our stay in Jersey. Went in for an early dinner. We had a big group sitting behind who had arrived before us. The waiter advised us of delay as they were bringing their order. appreciated that the waiter kept us informed. My girlfriend had ordered baby back ribs which was nice and huge. My burger was okay. Overall good food and service.

This is our favourite pub in Jersey! Throughout St Helier and St Aubins, you won't find a pub with a better vibe. The drinks are well priced, the view is second to none and the staff are great. This has been our favourite port of call for drinks. Not had the food yet so can't comment on that.

The food at The Tenby is excellent. I had the roast chicken which was nicely cooked; succulent but not overdone, dried out or hard. My partner had these incredible beef sirloin on Portuguese skewers, pictured, all with the usual accompianants of favoured potato dish and veg. The price was excellent for the first class quality of the food. It was probably the most reasonably priced exceptional quality food I've ever had. I considered taking off a star as the service was quite slow, and the chairs were very low, which for me was not at all comfortable. But the food was so good for the price I would go again and let them have their five star rating. Go, and enjoy.

Spent a fabulous few hour's at the Tenby with a few cool refreshing Ciders sitting outside under the big conifer tree getting some much needed shade during this hot spell. I back home now but will never forget this wonderful place the staff are so friendly and the service is absolutely fantastic. Had a lovely meal and met some lovely people. I fell in love with St Aubin and the location is perfect hence why I'm returning in May for a week so will definitely be returning to the Tenby again. A huge credit to all the wonderful staff who went the extra mile to make my first time in Jersey a fabulous one.

Lovely pub, however the food was awful. I had a seafood pasta dish that cost 19.00 very overpriced for pasta at a pub. It had no flavour at all!! The party i ate with were also not impressed. The young lady serving us was very rude and didn't seem to want to be there. Overall disappointed

Lovely pub with great views over the harbour in lovely St Aubins. I wish they would do more of a local Jersey sourced dishes. Moules were scottish but yummy, and a very decent portion of fish and chips. The pub, was half empty even though it was midday sunday. Very friendly staff.

Great little pub with fantastic food. We dined in the lounge which does not allow children in. Views across the harbour fantastic. Staff were great, if not a little manic as they could have done with an extra person waiting. Overall great experience.

Fantastic Sunday lunch and if you go after 3pm the current offer is 3 for 2. If you have a roast dinner. Service was great. We were a party of 6 and we can all highly recommend. It was my birthday and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate.

Had a gorgeous Sunday lunch here on the way to the airport. Probably the best beef roast I have had in a pub in years. There was an offer of extra potatoes and Yorkshires if we had wanted them and extra gravy. Puddings were also delicious. Friendly staff and great surroundings.

We had a great dinner at The Old Court House for my son's 15th birthday. The table seating offered a view over the harbour and both the food (we had a Tomahawk steak) and the service was excellent. The team really made my sons birthday a memorable one.

This has been a favourite of mine for almost 40 yrs. It retains its original charm with nice upgrades over the years. The staff are very friendly and attentive, food is good and the hotel rooms very nice. The location opposite the harbour wall is beautiful, its just a nice place to stay or visit for a couple of drinks. We have just spent a weekend here with friends and had a great time. Thank you to Edward and all the staff that looked after us.

Pleasant enough place on the front and it was quiet when we went in on a Tuesday afternoon for a couple of drinks. I wish we hadn’t bothered as the service was very poor and surly.

Booked to go for an evening meal with my wife, based on the menu displayed online and outside the restaurant. Arrived to be presented with a "reduced" menu that has none of the options we had selected in our minds before arriving. The server explained, that they were unable to offer their full menu due to "not having enough staff". Seriously! Left and found a competitor restaurant, that had a full menu as displayed plus some specials of the day.

We were a family of 8. All different ages up to 92! We went for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service and friendliness of the staff made us feel very special. We were accommodated in the Judges Chamber which was perfect for our party. Thank you

Had a great meal, lovely friendly attentive staff and the food was awesome. We've always had great meals at the Old Court House, I thoroughly recommend it. In addition to the venue the old harbour and location is absolutely stunning. A gem in Jersey's crown.

Early dinner this evening. Really well served by Joy and Prisca with our little daughter. They were so welcoming and considerate for us as a young family. Food was delicious and reasonably priced (especially with their 25% discount on Wednesdays). Good colouring sheet for kids included in the kids menu. We saw they are also very dog friendly. Would definitely go back here because eof great service and food.

Really tasty local ingredients. Great selection of seafood dishes. One server in particular was outstanding. Reasonably priced for the quality. Would definitely return.

Lovely stay here. Room was overlooking the sea and was very nicely appointed. Staff were mainly Spanish and were welcoming, helpful and charming.Manager Sam is personable and welcoming. Food is really excellent. Bar area and outdoor seating lovely. Hope to come again

We spent 3 nights here. Our incoming flight was by4 hours so arrived very late and after kitchen staff had gone. Lucy was amazing she made us food and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Was only there for a lunchtime snack. Food was well cooked and which I enjoyed, but there were 2 members of staff on duty who I think needed some good management on-site, service was slow I had to ask for condiments and wait a long time for the bill or table service in general. One member of staff was much more in the ball than the foreign guy who really didn't seem very interested in serving.

Outstanding friendly service in a unique beautifully presented location. Food for the most part excellent, especially the beef welly. The food was all very nicely presented too. Really enjoyed our Christmas lunch - would recommend

A fantastic stay by the seaside in St Aubin for our one year anniversary. The room and bed were perfect with many attentions left for us in the room. We had a wonderful and delicious dinner and breakfast. The personnel was very nice and professional. Pauline R

Visited on Sunday afternoon by chance as we were passing. Lovely service and friendly welcome. The whole island had been affected by a gas outage, limiting the ability of the hospitality sector to provide a service. We had a Sunday Roast, the food was exceptional, good sized portions and delicious. It’s in a lovely spot with nice views over the harbour, We only had a quick visit but would return as it’s in a fabulous location. Thanks to the staff.

My husband and I visited The Old Court House on Sunday for lunch. We both chose the roast, which was delicious and the server was very attentive. The menu had a great selection of different options and there was a specials board too. The only slight improvement would be to clearly mark Gluten Free options on the menu. There were a few delicious options for puddings which we discovered when asking the server. Overall I would recommend The Old Court House and would visit again… Sharon x

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch with a view of the harbour. We both chose the vegetarian roast which was very tasty. We were tempted by the chocolate delice and this did not disappoint. The staff were friendly yet efficient and offered helpful suggestions. We both had a lovely afternoon and agreed we would happily go back again. Thank you for making our Sunday afternoon relaxing and thoroughly pleasant.

The BEST steak sandwich I’ve ever had!!! Tender steak, rocket, caramelised onion inside freshly baked sourdough, does it get any better!? A side of tasty truffle chips to share too! Thank you Old Court House for the perfect relaxed lunch venue for my friends and I!

Had a fantastic meal in the OCH for my birthday. Service was great. Fast and tasty food, great lady serving who put in effort and a personal touch. We were also helped to set up a liberation account. Would recommend !

From start to finish we cannot fault the Old Court House. The facilities and charm of the bars and restaurant areas are lovely. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We had a perfect Sunday lunch..and the dogs enjoyed their biscuits! Thank you

Wedding review! We held our wedding here, seating and feeding 75 people - split between 2 rooms. The staff at The OCH smashed it… the place looked stunning, the food was amazing, everything went perfectly. Another 30 or so evening guests added to the mix later on. Prior to the wedding, they were very attentive to what was asked/wanted and everything was discussed and organised really well. On the day itself, everything went off without a hitch… and I honestly couldn’t speak higher of the place or the people working there. The staff were great, of particular note - Lucy, the General Manager. It was so well organised and then executed, it was really impressive. All in, it made our special day just that, really special. We also stayed a full week in the honeymoon suite, with the hot tub. Great room and view also. All our guests were so complimentary of it all, and they loved the food. 5 out of 5 doesn’t do it justice. Super highly recommended.

We went for lunch at the Old Court House for Mothers Day and were not disappointed. Firstly, they were so accommodating when I changed the booking 20 minutes before the reservation to add an additional 3 guests. The staff were so attentive from the moment we arrived to when we left. They also provided little gifts for all the mother’s that attended. Food was fantastic, empty plates all round at the end of each course.

We came for Sunday lunch and didn’t stay in the accommodation. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were a very large group so we pre ordered a week before and that was really straightforward with the team being very responsive. However the food was quite disappointing. Most of us had the pork belly roast and the amount of meat was very underwhelming. Some plates had crackling and others had none. The roast potatoes were solid, oversized and not roasted at all in texture or appearance. The gravy was suspiciously bisto-like. We ordered some bread for the children to start and it was really expensive for a few slices of day old French stick. Overall we enjoyed the afternoon and the restaurant is lovely and comfortable but the food didn’t feel like good value for money.

My first time here as I'm quite new to the Island. Very impressive building and surroundings. The bar is gorgeous and we arrived early for a drink before our meal. Decent prices for drinks too I should add. The staff were fabulous. Attentive and friendly. The tasting menu was very nice but didn't wow either of us. Everything was cooked well but just wasn't very memorable unfortunately. I'd prefer Bass & Lobster for a treat.

We were disappointed with this restaurant. After reading all the great reviews we didn't have the same experience. The venue setting and views are brilliant and the drink before dinner in the bar was very relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately the food and the restaurant service was poor. The starters were decent and came quickly. We ordered off the set menu. We then waited over 45 mins for our mains.. off the set menu. The steak was very tough and hard to cut, the cod was ok but the mash potatoe was cold and the pak choi soggy and very over cooked. Then it took another nearly 30 mins to get the cheese board (3 slices of cheese) and they'd run out of the creme brule that I had my eye on. The service was not friendly or apologetic. Hopefully they were having an off night and it could be great....

Perfect location to enjoy an excellent afternoon tea. In particular, the scones and the selection of cakes were delicious. Lashings of tea and coffee. It was also good to see smoked salmon included in the choice of sandwiches. Lovely attentive staff. Excellent value for money.

We stayed at the Somerville Hotel for a week and had 3 evening meals and Sunday lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. The staff were also stars, as they were all fantastic. We will definitely return when we visit Jersey again.

We went out for Easter Lunch. I odered a starter with Mackeral which was the size of a tiny rollmop, but quite tasteless. The main of Cod fillet was about the size of a starter. Portions were tiny and others were complaining about the food only being lukewarm. To any normal person this is unacceptable. But the management seemed arrogant/didn't seem bothered, and we'rent interested in listening to us. Very disappointing. I would not recommend you come here for food.

Had the most amazing Afternoon Tea while staying in Jersey for our 30th Wedding Anniversary . Along with delicious cocktails. Staff were lovely.

Very nice food, great location and views. The old lady playing piano was adorable). We were made to feel very special which was just perfect to celebrate our first wedding anniversary!

Amazing little place to get Indian and Bangladeshi food in Jersey. Prices are ok for starters and a bit high in my personal opinion for the main dishes. The ambience of this place and cleanliness are good and food tastes fresh and nice. Definitely worth a try when looking for Indian in and around Jersey. Might be a little expensive for big families if budget matters.

My second visit here and not my last. A large group of us had a celebration dinner here. The staff were magnificent as we were rather a large group. Excellent service and food. The vegetarian garlic chilli was very flavoursome and the coconut rice a surprise! Looking forward to working my way through the full menu. Apologies as photos are from a prior visit. The paneer was exceptional. Special shout out to Joe and Ali!!

The staff at Noya Shapla were very welcoming. Joe helped us choose some of the most delicious Indian dishes we have ever tasted. The restaurant is obviously a favourite with locals and we could see why. Highly recommend.

The lady who served us was quite rude. The other 2 guys who served us were alright. Food was average. We had to wait 1/2 hour for them to bring the bill despite us reminding them 3 times! Then they tried to overcharge us by billing for stuff that we didn’t buy! Out of all the restaurants that we’ve been at jersey during our holiday which were all excellent, this was undoubtedly the worst!

We've eaten here a number of times now, and never had a bad meal. Piping hot, very tasty food. Staff very friendly. Love it!!

We came across this lovely place whilst on holiday. So glad we did, best Indian we have had for a long while. We were asked what we liked and were recommended some dishes. Everything tasted fresh and aromatic. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will come back again, thoroughly recommended.

A friendly family run business,good service, and very tasty food. However, the drinks are rather expensive(£8.50 for a beer), and there is a 20% service charge. Aside from this, all in all, it was a pleasant experience. The specials I would recommend tasting,especially the king prawn shaslik.

It was not the worst but not the best either , BEWARE of them handing you poppadoms with dips when you 1st sit down as a welcome, (which we have had before in other Indian restaurants ) as they did this with us and we were not aware we pay for the poppadoms and the dips all separately, I did not like this tactic. We sat at a table that was about 2ft distance from another table , you literally felt like you were at each others tables, too close and abit uncomfortable . The mixed grill was nice well done and the chicken was lovely , I ordered onion bhajis which were very dry The king prawn butterfly was very chewy and hard to even cut it with the knife . Curry was good and loved the rice . The table behind us was extremely loud and there speaking was basically shouting the whole time we were there, we ate our food and left asap, this has to be the 1st time iv not had a conversation with my hubby due to the noise level while having a meal . The menu looks very reasonably priced but with ordering you begin to realise you have to order all extras , rice with curry etc I would personally expect 1 side of something to come with a curry .

First night in Jersey. Had to try noya. Glad we did. The curries were insainly good. We had chicken makhani and chicken kerala. Both currys were exceptional. The makhani was tangy and had a nice hint of coconut. The kerahi was spicy full of onion and alot thicker. Both were great. With the curries we got rice garlic naan and chips. We could not fault any of these. The garlic naan was so garlicky it was amazing. Before the curries though we just had some poppadoms. It came with side salad and 3 dips, mango(superb), curry chili(hot and delicious) and mint(cools down pallet great). That is all 2 people would need for starters. So so good. My last point is the staff. They are all very nice and welcoming. Very interested in where your from etc and are very attentive so your never waiting when you need assistance. Can't wait to go back.

First proper authentic Indian experience in jersey. Very warm atmosphere with great staff. Food was fresh and tasty.

Excellent customer service, the tandoori chicken was succulent, flavourful and just the perfect amount of spice! What an amazing experience! Jazāk Allah ghayr!
