Lovely small museum with some info about the history of Ulcinj city. You won’t miss something if you skip it. It’s ok but that’s it.

Very old part of this part of Ulcinj, unfortunately there are many new build bars & restaurants in the surrounding area...

Good prices to look round. Not disabled friendly. Staff lovely.
Becky Dodds — Google review
it should be closed for public as it is a construction site!
SAMI FLAMURI — Google review
We found this to be somewhat underwhelming. The upside is that it is very cheap to enter (€1.50) and the panoramic views from the top of the wall are quite nice. It is important to note that during our visit (June, 2022), there was significant renovation under way, which made some areas inaccessible and diminished the experience. The man working at the museum (Antonne) was VERY kind and helpful, and he explained several interesting features to us.

(Translated by Google) An interesting museum with a history of the place.

Such an interesting place, worth visiting

Nice place in the old town. There are many examples of clothing, tools and other accessories from the past. f you are passing through Ulcinj it is definitely worth a visit. Be careful, in case of rain, the ground is really slippery, like everywhere else in the old town.
Toni Ante Pejic — Google review
This museum is a joke. 1,5 euro to see couple old bricks without any description. Art gallery didnt work. Etno village didnt work. Basically this place is drity construction site, if you are not super careful you can harm yourself by steping on tools, desks etc laying all over the spot. Zero respect for visitor.

Outdoor Activities
This vibrant city beach offers sandy shores, calm waters for swimming and a variety of amenities. The Sunset Bar, located in the Old Town, boasts stunning views while the Small Beach can be overly touristy during peak season. For those seeking a more secluded adventure, consider hiking to Salina with its famous flamingos.
The best and most notorious beach in all Montenegro, the best place to enjoy your holiday, take pictures, and learn about it's history. 10/10 would definetly recomend.
Faris Kasumović — Google review
Just horrible we don’t recommend this place. Worst city in Montenegro.
marina borrell — Google review
It's very crowded in July and August.
suad tosuni — Google review
(Translated by Google) The location is very beautiful, the water is clean, a pleasant combination of nature and urban development, but it is disturbing that the beach is practically occupied by the sunbeds and umbrellas of the hotels and you don't really have a place to sit. It is also ugly that the beach is full of the mess left by people who smoke on the beach and throw all kinds of other debris.
Octavian Costin — Google review
Off-peak visit, so not crowded. Gets very busy (crammed) at height of season. Plenty of bars & restaurants. Walk up to the Old Town from here, for better quality restaurants and great sea views.

EXTREMLY NO RECOMEND !!! Very crowded, dirty and noisy. There are too many cigar leftovers. The worst place in Montenegro!
Mykola Schepniy — Google review
Nice small sandy beach with beautiful old town view. Very good for stay out of season.

The dirtiest and most overcrowded beach I have seen in my life...
Wu eS — Google review
My rate is strictly for the beach in front of Hotel Plaza which seems to be a private beach administrated by Hotel Plaza. The beach is really dirty, full of cigarette butts and other materials. They charge 25 Euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella and in case someone is leaving during the day and someone else takes over the sunbeds, they ask again the same price. The man from the beach bar which is collecting the money for sunbeds is really ok and understanding, but in the evening the beach is "checked" by another man which is rude with the customers. Even I have been here for few days because you don't have a better choice, I don't recommend it.

(Translated by Google) Probably the closest to what is called the "public beach" in Ulcinj...Located near the old town, it has a lot of hotels, restaurants and terraces nearby...We arrived here on a weekend at the end in September, about the end of the summer season and if it was empty in the first part of the day, in the afternoon it was full! The water is warm and clean, the beach is unfortunately a bit dirty, including in the landscaped areas belonging to the hotels!
Nedelcu Florin — Google review
Just like any European beaches, crowded after 9 am. Go earlier or later than 6 pm, if you want avoid the crowd. Shallow water when low tide, which is early morning and evening. Check the tide forecast.
Hiroko Morioka — Google review
It's way too crowded for me. Literally packed with 🏖️ and sunbeds side by side. There are other beaches nearby that have more space and are cleaner. In high season it might be good to have a coffee around here and walk by on the way to the fortress. Not my cup of tea
Thomas Vermeulen — Google review
On may the beach is still unclean. Sea grass, stones in the shallow water, not to be seen when you walk in water. Town shoud start invest and maintain the Mala Plaza. It is like visitcard of Ulcinj. Take care of this nice beach!
Hannele Kuitunen — Google review
It's very crowded. People there behave like animals... Loud music everywhere, you can't rest in peace.
Szymon Pruszek — Google review
Merita vizitat. Parcare se gaseste peste tot in zona. Merita vizitat (Translated by Google) It's worth visiting. If you get here, it's worth visiting the old town. There is also a museum, but the guards there don't really care about foreign tourists. Parking is everywhere in the area. Parking prices are low and tickets can be bought from shops in the area. The food at the restaurants in the area is very good. It's worth visiting

Nice place for adults and children. Cheap prices for dinner or lunch.

It is a nice sandy beach, but always too crowded. It is for the ones who likes people. 😄
Melisa Husejnović — Google review
ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OVER RATED , its crowded 99.99% of the time day and night its feels like some off brand european chines beach when it should be the other way around trust me just go somewhere else
LEUDITA SADIKU — Google review
Crowded on day time. Also, water might be not good quality because of transport and too many people. It is a bay where water keeps still, so better to find a place with less people.

The church property features ancient olive trees and a cemetery with stunning views of the open sea. Visitors can admire the well-kept surroundings and beautiful mosaics of saints on the exterior walls. Inside, there are fantastic old frescoes adorning the walls and ceiling, creating a wonderful and tasteful atmosphere. The church also offers a souvenir shop for curious visitors to explore.

(Translated by Google) A very charming little Orthodox church located just outside the walls of the old town. The area around the church is well-kept, but during my visit the church itself was closed, only the church souvenir shop was open. Very nice mosaics of saints arranged on the exterior walls of the church. If someone is visiting the old town, they can come here and look around out of curiosity.

Hotel
The Apartments Antigona Old Town is situated in the historic Ulcinjs Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient stone houses and centuries-old mosques. This hotel provides a convenient base for exploring the town's illustrious past, offering panoramic views of the sea from its hilltop location. Guests can admire iconic landmarks such as Ulcinj Castle and Pashas Mosque, or delve into the fascinating history of Ulcinj at the City Museum.
We had a wonderful trip to Ulcinj. Drita gave us a very warm welcome. She was always available for questions and let us feel like being home. The apartment is great, too. It is well and modern equipped, has a terrace and is perfectly placed in the old town of Ulcinj with a fantastic view to the sea. Also recommended is the restaurant in the guest house which offers delicious and fresh fish. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly.

What is the best about this place is the view. You can enjoy the sunset from terasse. Rooms are conformable, we had penthouse it does not have sea view from room, but terasse is fine since it has enough space. Because it was not summer season, there were not a lot of people which was good and bad at the same time. Rooms should have been cleaner and the restaurant was not working. Important note: since the place is in Old city of Ulcinj, there is no parking near it. You have to climb up to it by rock stairs, which is not convinient for lot of luggage. In conclusion nice place, worth visiting.

Scandal, scandal, scandal. It was no parking at the Apartment. We wanted a bed for the children and there wasn't one. Arrogant behaviour. The apartment wan't clean. Apart all this, we didn't stay at this apartment, but they took the money without our permission in booking (THIEF)
Elton Derjaj — Google review
To start with the nice: the view and the terrace are amazing, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the location in the old city is nice! What we didn’t like was that the Wi-Fi was nearly never working, at best times extremely slowly. The plug next to the bed did not work. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and smelled bad. The only light in the room was extremely bright. We’re wondering why there were cloths being stored in the wardrobe of our room. To your information: add up 6€ per night for the parking they send you to. Try to find a parking spot at the cemetery (tip from the owner after asking him), they’re free and close to the old town.

It was a nightmare in the old town Brown marks on the toilet sit The owner screamed at me next to my child when we left after she told us its ok to leave. We paid for one night and she told booking.com we never showed. After we told booking.com about our experience she claimed we did show but didn't pay. She is a layer and at the moment doing everything she can to prevent us from writing a comment in booking.com I have never ran into a host or a person such aggressive and greedy.
Mahayana Koren — Google review
Great place for your stay, amazing terrace overlooking the sea, perfect sunsets. The host Drita is very nice and helpful for everything we asked for.
