Quaint local beach with a half-mile sandy expanse, pavilions & showers, close to eateries & hotels.
Nice beach for everyone to enjoy. Visited during off season and parking is free and no badge needed to use the beach. The downside is no food stalls were open and only portable toilets are available for use.

It’s a nice beach. Get there early on the weekends. Sometimes it’s a wait to park.

Always a Great time at this beach. We packed up the car last night and the cooler this morning. We were in line for 8:30 the gate opens at 9. Spent time in the sand, and in the water. We took a nice walk around town. Shared a vegan smoothie from Beach Bums. It was ok, made from juice not fresh fruit. We stayed at the beach for about 5 hours. Clean restrooms, snack bars, outdoor showers, swings. This beach has a lot to offer.
Melissa Dayz — Google review
Always a huge hit with the kids as the waves are much larger here than in CT. The beaches are well kept and the facilities are on par with a state beach. Unfortunately the places to eat within walking distance are scarce. They raised the prices for admittance to $30 per vehicle!!! However they do offer a 50% Military Discount per vehicle which is nice. The sand is groomed/raked daily and is generally free of trash and other hazards. The Seagulls are aggressive here so keep your food in a sealable container/cooler. The State Beach Pavillion has a small play scape for the kids, a take-out, walk-up Grill for hotdogs, fries, soda, etc… The courtesy showers are still a courtesy, but to take a private shower In the locker rooms costs money.

It had been 30 years since we had been back to Misquamicut State Beach. Enjoyed our beach time, great sunrises and amazing sunsets. We enjoyed ice cream, lobster rolls go cart racing and we even went to the Misquamicut Drive-In Theatre. The beach was very clean and we enjoyed watching the rolling waves. Highly recommend!

Misquamicut is the nicest beach that I visited in CT and RI. It's a larger beach then you find in CT, has plenty of parking, porta-potties, a playground for kids and plenty of slipper shell crab shells and some pebbles/rocks that wash up. If you're looking for big waves not blocked by NY, head to RI.

Beach is very busy, need to arrive very early to get best spot. Well kept for the amount of people with bathroom and showers.

An absolutely incredible and wonderful beach! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves visiting the ocean. This is an excellent location for any person to visit.

The best time to go here is in September, when it is off-season. It's not crowded! The water was just right and it was a nice sunny day. And it was very refreshing mentally and spiritually! It was like hitting the reset button in my brain.
J Lo — Google review
Amazing beach, though it was messy when I went as parking lot had tampon covers EVERYWHERE but around 3 or 4 hours later when leaving I saw it was cleaned. They definitely do great there!
michael clubacube — Google review
Great public beach spot, with great waves, park, restrooms, rinse stations, food/drinks and beach essentials shop. Crowded but it was sunny summer weekend day, so that was to be expected.
Charity Bowen-Miller — Google review
The water is great, consistent sand levels after a first drop off, waves aren't too big. Out of the water, it isn't the deepest beach in terms of sand space, so spreading of people gets somewhat close on a busy day, but not too bad. Plenty of parking options if you get there early enough, $20 dollar lots for a 2 minute walk.

Great area to hangout for the day! Arcade is very fun and still hands out tickets, makes it feel more retro instead of using a card. Wonderful spot with lots of entertaining activities. Right across from the drive-in as well, which brings the activities into the night!

Just sad the merry-go-round is shut down. Over the years most of all rides there forever have been slowly taken away. Progress i guess. Oh miss the Roller rink too but that stopped many more years ago. I understand why. Loved it though. Still fun to go to Windjammer occasionally though.

Very crowded middle if week midday. Decent beach, but get there early for a spot, people plop down everywhere. Lifegaurds present. Parking is $15. Nice large bar and grill on beach. Arcade was cool. Bathrooms small, long lines. ATM on site. Wash station with showers. Overall fun place for kids.

Restaurant
Located on the waterfront, The Andrea Seaside Restaurant and Beach Bar is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. This hangout offers a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy simple seafood dishes, cocktails, and soak up the sun on the patio. With live music and great food, it has become an iconic landmark in the area. Originally known as the Andrea Hotel, this 100-year-old establishment suffered severe damage from Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
My man Thomas Lavoie surprised me with a random date night at The Andrea Misquamicut Beach! One of our favorite summertime destinations, the place was hopping when we got there with a band, beach party that Gidget would approve of, and a 40 minute wait that we spent on an adirondack bench with a pitcher of spiked punch and the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Our dinner was a classic order (not sure if we've ever strayed from it) an andrea house salad, fried calmari, and the best mussels ever - simmered in garlic, butter, wine and magic. TJ and I are team sharing is caring when we dine out, and have found that some of the best food lives in the appetizer section of a menu. The hazy orange sun turned into an eerie orange moon, an effect caused by the wild fires in the west. We visited Misquamicut Beach years before ever checking out The Andrea. If you haven't yet, put it on your to-do list! -Marisa Balletti-Lavoie

Lots of outdoor seating with great view; parking available. I had very yummy seafood cake; was disappointed no whole belly clams, and was out of calamari at 6 p.m. refreshing tropical drinks.

Very nice ambiance just a few feet from the edge of the waves, lots of outdoor seating (no wait even on Labor Day Sunday) and reasonable prices. We had the lobster roll ($30) and the fish sandwich ($15) each with Coleslaw. Jean had the scallops and he said they were awesome

Excellent food. Restaurant is right on the beach and the service is excellent. A friend recommended this place to me and I’m glad he did. I will definitely be back!
Andy — Google review
The food here was just absolutely delicious. We started with the tuna nachos, which were a great sharing dish. Light, crispy tostada style chips topped with tuna, picked onions, wasabi mayo and cocktail sauce. I could've happily ate that as my meal. For our mains we got the fish and chips to share and the calamari. Both were crispy, fried just right and super flavorful. They fry the red peppers in with the calamari here, and we love that! The fish didn't even need tartar sauce, I enjoyed it with just the squeeze of lemon. After our meal we went for a walk along the beach. They have buckets you can take to pick up any beach trash you find, so we did that - managed to almost fill a bucket! Would've liked maybe a grabber tool because I didn't want to grab the cigarette butts with my hands, but we still grabbed the big stuff. Beautiful views of the ocean, friendly staff, parking for your car and good food. 10/10 for us!

Enjoyed lunch on a beautiful afternoon on the patio overlooking Misquamicut Beach. Stopped for the NE Style Lobster Roll (Hot with melted Butter). Loaded with Lobster meat. Pretty pricy so we split one instead of buying two, like we usually do. Also had the Bang bang Shrimp and a pitcher of margarita (weak). Always stop here when in RI.

I honestly wish to tell you how this restaurant was. However, three nights in a row, they were closed either for a private event or not open. It's the beginning of June. Would they be open, or would they provide a list of closing dates? I wasn't happy they didn't clarify the second night I went back or the third, and I thought they would be closed. On a recent day trip to Westerly we stopped in for an early lunch. The views are stunning, especially from the outside patio, which is screened from the sun by a sail (thank goodness) and has a fire place (which would be great in the evenings. The views are only just the beginning, the servers were courteous and friendly, and the food fresh and delicious. The seafood sandwich and the fish and chips were among the best we have had in a long time. Reservations are strongly recommended. And they have free two hour parking right on the beach as well.

29 years ago this was a hotel on the ocean, but hurricane Sandy took it out...all but the stone chimney which still stands surrounded by a beach bar/restaurant. We stayed in the hotel on our wedding night 29 years ago and went for our lunch on our anniversary this year. Great drinks, great service, BEST view. I wasn't thrilled with the lobster salad...it was the consistency of tuna and I was expecting something different, so I switched with hubby and loved his crispy fish sandwich. They brought us drunken gummies when they heard it was our anniversary 🥰 Ended with an October walk on the beach...perfect day!

This is a seaside restaurant that's only sbout 75 yards up the beach from the Pleasantview Inn. It's a stand alone building/kitchen with a large attached industrial white tent used for seating and dining purposes. The Atlantic Ocean and the sound of the surf is a beautiful backdrop to enjoy a very diverse menu. Everything, from seafood to steaks. Their salads are fresh and quite delicious as well. In the evenings they're usually playing some background music to mute the sounds of multiple tables laughing, talking and having a great time. The table service was very good, and our waiter did an awesome job taking care of our very large family froup of eighteen. The tent is set up so sections can be open or closed for comfort if needed. **Don't forget to ask for the do it yourself smores platter. You won't be disappointed, especially if you have children in your party. NOTE: I gave the food 4 stars because my scallop platter was COLD. I was with a very large group of family members who were going out, and I didn't want to hold everyone up waiting for my food to be warned up. I gave the restaurant 5 stars because it was well deserved.

Went to Andrea for a quick lunch. I must say the location is very nice it’s located by the water. My overall experience was excellent. The hostess was pleasant and our server was very attentive. The menu selection was great. The atmosphere was very relaxing. They had music playing but it wasn’t ignorantly loud and they had different genre of music which was a plus. Our order came out fast. So, Why the 4 star? Truth is I wanted to give this location a 4.5 Star and it’s either a 4 star or 5 star with no in between. If, I give this venue a 5 star than I’m not being fair with my review. The buttered lobster roll I order was a tad bit dry but everything else we order was delicious even the dry lobster roll. I would still give it another go and recommend this venue. FYI if you are wishing to sit at a table by the water you much make a reservation. -I hope that help.

29 years ago my wife and I honeymooned at The Andrea. October 1st this year we returned to the shoreline to rekindle, by the fireplace that has remained, our marriage and those fond memories of yesteryear. The beautiful ocean, delicious food and thoughtful service made the day extra special for me and the Mrs.
Perry Lamkins — Google review
We enjoyed our meal. The chowder and clam fritters were a great starter. I enjoyed my sword fish ,( the day's special) the portion was very generous! The location is unique. Our server was very good. More of a beach bar atmosphere than fine dining. We ate at a high top inside the tent as the weather was not great, but I would like to try the outdoor patio with fireplace saved from the original Inn.

This is a great restaurant on the Misquamicut beach. You can reserve($50) a spot on their private beach. Where the servers will bring you drinks and food On the beach. The food is good the service was great. The atmosphere is on point that's why it's a 5 star. I'm going to start looking at motels on the beach to spend a weekend their... I will be seeing more of this place for the 2023. Since the summer is almost over. There's also parking across the street that belongs to Andrea's.

Two Little Fish is a relaxed seafood eatery situated by the shoreline that is well-known for its delectable lobster rolls and fish 'n' chips. Offering both beer and wine, this family-owned restaurant at Misquamicut Beach prides itself on serving a variety of seafood dishes such as clam cakes, chowder, and hot lobster rolls. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food, making it a favorite spot among locals and tourists alike.
Very good place for late lunch. We had sea scallops and fish and chips dinner. Both delicious! Also they have cold beer! Friendly stuff and good atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

One of my favorite clam shacks in RI. I used to visit every summer I lived away. Lobster roll was still delicious, although a bit smaller than previous pictures. Prices are not cheap, as to be expected with today's inflation. $35 for Lobster roll, fries, slaw, and drink. I will still be a fan!
Tonya Manzano — Google review
We came here last year for the first time and loved everything we got, a seafood platter and a crab cake sandwich. Such a disappointment when I came back last week. We ordered the seafood platter again and yes it was market price and expected to pay more, well I didn't mind paying almost 50 dollars knowing how good it was, ugh, A pile of grease in the container, asked for whole belly clams got over cooked strips, looks like scallops were cut down. Everything taste the same. Highly disappointment. Will not be back which is sad as my wife left a raving review about our first visit. We ordered it to go and took it down the road to eat. I should of returned it just for the grease never mind the bad quality.

We picked this spot after searching for seafood restaurants near me. Right by the beach which we enjoyed after our meal. We ordered the lobster rolls for two platter which saves a couple ten dollars if the sandwiches were ordered individually. Bottled beer and one serving wines are available for adults. The lobster rolls were good made the traditional way with buttered grilled New England style hot dog rolls. The clam fritters had a nice batter but miniscule if any clams at all. There is both inside and outside seating. The shocker came when we chose to sit outside in a thin outer section of the deck that had a long counter with stools, since all the front tables with umbrellas were taken, and a large male seagull swooped down and in seconds stole our two sandwiches in his beak right off our plate. Dropping them to the ground, he and another male gull ate them in less than a minute. I had just enough time, despite my state of shock, to get a photo of them before they flew off. My companion had gone inside to get another mini bottle of wine, so I alone experienced this bizarre occurrence. Thank you to the manager for replacing them free of charge. The young gal behind the register said this happened sometimes. We ate our new platter inside.

Paddy's Beach Club is an oceanfront establishment that offers American cuisine, a tiki bar for adults over 21 years old, and occasional entertainment. It is a family-friendly eatery located in the same area as popular tourist spots like Paddys Beach Club and Andrea Beach Bar. However, Paddy's stands out with its own unique features such as its delicious American fare and a lively tiki bar.

Fun atmosphere - good music, the beach, great server, drinks have a neat touch! I do feel it was a little over priced. $115 for 3 drinks and one plate of calamari. The drinks were a bit weak and the calamari was okay but still a cool experience.
Gabriella Amoros — Google review
I haven't been to Paddy's in forever, so the girls & I decided to stop in during the long Labor Day weekend. I don't remember not being able to enter from the beach, but now you must walk through the front entrance where there is a bouncer, yes a bouncer, that will check ID's - he really takes his job so serious. You also have to get a bracelet put on for 21 & over...felt like I was a teenager entering a club from back in the day! I'd have to say that we had so much fun...the people were very entertaining & of all different ages/backgrounds. You can get a signature drink cup that you pay one price for (2 drinks in 1) then the refills are half price after. I'm a sucker for a good deal! If I ever stop in again, I will have to try the food.
Yachai Reilly — Google review
There are such mixed reviews for this place, I wasn’t expecting much, but it really wasn’t bad at all! My husband, son and I went on a Wednesday evening for dinner, and the place wasn’t crowded at all. The location (right on the beach) can’t be beat, and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, my husband had the Fish Tacos and my son got a burger. Everything was tasty! It wasn’t a top-notch high-end dinner by any means, but it was definitely a decent meal with a great view. I imagine this place gets pretty packed on the weekends and in the summer, so we’ll avoid it at those times, but during the week or in the off season, we’ll definitely be back!

This is such an awesome place to visit right on the ocean! Great mixed drinks. I loved watching family & friends dance & having the choice to sit off to the side quietly in a chaise looking out at the ocean. They were very accommodating since our group a few nights was large (about 12) of extended family & friends! This is a little gem

Paddy’s Beach Bar is well known if you’re coming to Misquamicuit Beach. It’s a fun beach bar with the salty hair and sandy toes vibes known for signature cocktails served up in beach themed ceramic glasses. They played a really great variety of music EDM, Reggaeton and top hits. We tipped good each time and didn’t have to wait long for service. I had the Banana Butt (cold and frothy) and it was so good with the whipped cream on top. I had a Brockmans Lavender Lemonade with Gin and a Fishers Lemonade. We had fun and danced! There’s a large area under a tent to sit in if you’d like to order food. You can also go inside for service as well. Overall awesome time!

Nahani Meuse — Google review
Parking for this place is limited and very cramped, so if you're parked at Misquamicut, it's best to leave your car there and just walk over unless you're particularly interested in brawling it out with the seemingly cloned dude-bros that hang out in their lifted Jeeps. Aside from leering at my female friend and offering her a ride, they seemed relatively harmless. The place is an open-air set up with canopies and outdoor bar as well as seating in the sand with tables and umbrellas. It offers a great view of the ocean as you dine, especially during sunset. It also provides some entertainment as habitually obliterated beach goers attempt to stagger over the fence and occasionally faceplant into the ground. There's even a really nice archway set up to take really nice photos or garishly unattractive drunk selfies with your girlfriends from the office. The prices are steep ($5 for an 8oz Red Bull. Is it mixed with cocaine?). Most items were in the $14-22 range because...well...are you REALLY going to drive 15 minutes back into town for some food? Our server was very friendly and energetic. We got our drinks within a few minutes of being sat. Our food came out within what felt like about ten minutes or so after ordering. Once the sun sets, it gets a little chilly, even if it was 80 during the day, so plan on bringing a jacket. Or just set your table on fire? I mean, it's outside, so I think it's probably technically legal. Our only small complaint was that we finished our food and had to leave to get home on time. It was 7:50PM when we finished our meal, but had to sit around waiting for the server until 8:15. Every time she walked by our table, we'd try to task her for our check, but she'd mysteriously teleport into some netherdemension or something and we wouldn't see her for a few more minutes. Eventually managed to to flag her down and ask for our check so we could finally get out of there, so we ended up being late. Not the end of the world. I'll probably suffer through that again for the good quality of the food. As for the quality, the smoked chicken wings are pricey, but some of the best we've ever had. If for no other reason, go there for the wings. You won't be disappointed.

Ok so this place is on the beach…..and you can literally sit in the sand if you choose. Or on the deck or inside. Spent the day at Misquamicut state beach and walked to Paddy’s for lunch. Ocean view dining and really good food. Had double cheeseburger and Caesar salad sandwich. Both excellent and waffle fries were great! Fun drinks too - they serve in fancy take home cups and fishbowls. And they’re all decorated with small pinwheels and Hawaiian leis. Drinks are expensive but you get to take the cup home and refills are half price FOR LIFE. Saw women there who had been coming back for over 20 years with their cups! Hoping I can find my fun turtle cup next time we go 😬

This is an awesome place. The people are so welcoming and friendly. For me, this was a hidden gem until I first visited. It will now be one of my go to places. The food is excellent, they can cook. It is a family environment, so feel free to bring the whole gang. The sound of the waves crashing is a treat all in itself. Visit Paddy’s if you can.

Love that it's right on the beach, literally steps from the sands. While most beaches don't allow for adults to bring alcoholic beverages, this one serves it right to you on the sands! with a full restaurant and a bar on the sand it's super awesome, while the kids are having their fun, the adults can unwind on something than damn juice boxes. The staff are super friendly, service is quick, food is great. It's always packed. Water is clean & beautiful.

Paddy’s is an awesome place! Our waiter was so attentive and helpful! If you like raw oysters you will LOVE Paddy’s. If you are not that much into seafood please, PLEASE try their smoked chicken wings!! Those are the best wings I’ve ever had. I recommend pairing it with their sweet chilly dipping sauce. Why 4 stars? Their alcoholic drinks are weak. The cups and decoration they use is really nice but for the money you pay the drinks are watered down, at least for my taste. Other than that, Paddy’s is an amazing place to visit!

Listen ! I got the breakfast club 🥺. This might be the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The servers and managers were attentive and I had a lovely breakfast experience. I would recommend. I almost didn’t want to eat the other half to save it for later. I just couldn’t 😋

The food was absolutely delicious. We were looking for a great breakfast and we were not disappointed. The cooked goose breakfast sandwich was out of this world. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The biscuits and gravy with the house made chicken sausage was phenomenal. My husband highly recommends the Mexican style homefries. Melissa is the best waitress ever and they should give her a raise. The service was impeccable. We left with happy full bellies and big smiles on our faces.

Was visiting Westerly, and decided to go here for breakfast. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and sat. We got a nice spot right next to the fireplace which was very appreciated in the winter! We got the Cajun eggs benedict and a build your own omelet. Both were super fresh and delicious! The prices were also great for the quality of food we received. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

10 stars!! I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. It was amazing watching how this entire crew handled the influx of guests coming in. The food was superb. My family and I tried other places in the area, but nothing we tried compared. We ate here at least 4 out of the 5 days we were vacationing in the area. As I ate the yummy-ness placed in front of me. I watched every staff member work in harmony- truly a beautiful symphony. Bravo!!!!!

Trendy Watch Hill spot across from the water. Their Almond croissant was to die for. LGB friendly and straights fit in here no prob. Kindness. That’s the vibe here. Kindness and quality food. Take a walk across the street there are some great shops to check out. I had the breakfast burrito and it was so good. The nitro cold brew was fab. Mimosas served here fresh squeezed OJ. They really care about how he service and quality of the food. I would assume the “Lobster” eggs Benedict brings in the touries. Saw a few out of towners ordering like it was Cotten candy at the fair. Clean, friendly, quality food is the lasting impression I left here with l.

Eating breakfast at The Cooked Goose. We heard that Taylor Swift loves it here. It's not far from her house on the beach. Landon ordered the Breakfast Goose. He loves it. Our server talked to us about Taylor, and she met her and got a photo. She showed it to us. Last month, her dad came in and handed out guitar picks to every customer. She told us that Mr. Swift always sits at the table near us by the fireplace. Landon gave our server a Taylor rock we made. This is the sweetest little place. I can't wait to come back.

The Cooked Goose has a nice brunch menu and also a deli counter for food to go. We arrived about 10:30 for Sunday brunch. Several folks were waiting to be seated and our wait was about 10 minutes. We wanted a Bloody Mary but they only had mimosas on the menu so we ordered them instead. For brunch we had biscuit and chicken sausage gravy with two eggs, breakfast tartine, and an omelette with rye toast. All came with home fries. The biscuits were grilled and had a nice outer crunch. The omelette was stuffed with goat cheese, spinach and sausage, it was delicious. The tartine was unusual but tasty, it consisted of Country wheat toast with 2 poached eggs, goat cheese, avocado, arugula, & tomato. We'll be back to try their lunch menu.

My partner and I took a small trip to Westerly for Memorial Day. The place we were staying was kind enough to provide us with gift cards for the restaurant and we liked it so much we flocked to the goose even when the cards were well gone! I was caught off guard by their latte's. I'm a big coffee lover and fairly picky. The hazelnut latte was phenomenal. Huge and robust flavor. Great hazelnut flavor without being too sweet, and the perfect amount of foam on top. We each ordered a new meal each day and ordered their cinnamon roll pancakes to share the final day just so we wouldn't miss out! We loved almost everything we got with just a few caveats. By far out favorite meal was "The Breakfast Goose" sandwich. It was flavorful, tasty, and HUGE. I was worried their homemade sausage would be a bit chewy or dry because it was made from chicken, but I was WRONG it was juicy, tender, and packed full of flavor. My second favorite dish was the porchetta & egg sandwich. The porchetta was robustly flavored and cut super thinly, it just was a tad less tender than I would have liked. My partners second favorite was the vanilla almond french toast. The service was good. Every day someone from management would ask how the meal was. Suggestions / dislikes - My complaints aren't that major. All in all we loved the place. Loved the HONK HONK of it all. We would just choose to order some things instead of others in the future. The breakfast club was a miss. It was just a little too messy and the flavors didn't go together too well. Something about shredded lettuce and hot eggs didn't sit right for me. The home fries weren't very good. They seemed to be just boiled red potatoes that were very lightly seasoned. They weren't crisp in the slightest. Not a huge deal because the portions were so big. The hot chocolate wasn't great. It tasted like Swiss Miss made with water. Move your specials board! It's tucked around the corner. We didn't even know it was there until the last day we visited.... after we ordered!

This is a favorite of mine! The best breakfast in the area! Although nestled down the road from multi million dollar seaside-mansions, the cooked goose is a traditional diner style breakfast with a northern flare. They offer freshness & a broad menu to serve the masses. I love this special place. Check it out!

A friend recommended this place by name and my wife and I were not disappointed! The dining room had a very relaxed vibe and the wait staff was extremely accommodating. The food itself was top-notch as well. Perfectly-cooked fish with a wonderful presentation! We will definitely come back.

One of my favorite local restaurants, they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. Love supporting small businesses, especially those who go out of their way to give their customers a great experience. They even have a rewards card! Such an awesome idea. Definitely recommend checking out this spot if you haven’t.

The food is always very good. The waitress was friendly, but the restaurant was severely understaffed. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more. They need to rethink this policy. The restaurant was full, but the restaurant only had 2 or 3 waitresses. It looked like tgey only had 2 kitchen staff, who appeared to be working diligently. It took about an hour to order and get our food. The food itself was hot...so it was brought out right away. However, maybe if they had taken reservations, they might have had better staffing.

Great staff and great food! This place does not look like much from the outside and honestly the inside could use updating, but that aside the place is wonderful. The staff are pleasant and on top of their game. Drinks are well made. Bathrooms are clean. Food came out at a good pace. Would recommend highly!

I've been here before as well, but this time we visited for my mom's birthday. Brought our two young kids (6&8). All of the food was amazing! We got the nachos for an appetizer, soup, salad, cod, eggplant parm, and the kids got a burger. I think they may have the best nachos I've ever had before. And I love my nachos 🙂 Will definitely be going again when we're in town.

On my first visit, the food was delicious and we had great service! I will definitely go back for another tasty meal. I had the Chicken Parmesan, and the other guests had the Chicken Marsala. Absolutely delish! The atmosphere was a bit dark and plain for me, but overall, ☆☆☆☆.

My husband and I had a 34 year + anniversary. The nice staff let us pick our table. Our waitress Maria, the bartender, and the owner are very pleasant and the staff female who sat us. We were wished Happy Anniversary by all staff we had the pleasure of. We were surprised with a decorative dessert with writing in raspberry glaze Happy Anniversary. The scallops, vegetable and mashed potatoes were very good. My husbands halibut was very good and had great flavor and freshness. The calamari with hot peppers, marinara, lemon was fresh and cooked perfect and very tasteful. Highly recommend!

This was our first time here. Parking was easy. The restaurant was clean and bright. From out seats we had a clear view of the kitchen. The made our food fresh and quickly. Everything was very tasty. Our portions where large. We had a take home box full for dinner that night. Our waitress was pleasant. The bill was inexpensive. There is nice outdoor seating in the summer. The bathrooms could use some updating.

Their catering is really amazing! I recently had them cater a baby shower I was hosting, and I was super happy with everything - the food was super delicious, the selection was great, and the service was good. I worked with Cassidy, and she was super helpful with accomodating special dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, etc). I would use them again for any parties.

Brought my dad here for his birthday lunch. He loves the sister restaurant Breachway Grill. My first time being here but my dad says good food. He gets the veal parm hot sandwich. It looks so delicious when it came out and he got the works on it, pepper and onions. I chose the lunch pizza special. I got the CBR gourmet pizza slices. The crust is what I determine if the pizza is good. Its thin, crispy, exactly how it should be. Totally delicious. Great meal, great service. Five stars to me. Covid friendly. Redo restaurant

I love this place. Great pizza becomes fantastic pizza when served piping hot. Ice cold Peroni and other brews. Individual pizzas or pizza by the slice. If you miss NY pizza, you’ll be at home here. Friendly pleasant service. Non pretentious. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of other non-pizza choices. Free tasting sliver of whatever they are recommending. Outdoor dining available.

New American restaurant
Ella's Food & Drink is a New American restaurant located in downtown Westerly, offering an elegant dining experience with a blend of Asian and French influences. Established by acclaimed chef-owner Jeanie Roland, the menu features a diverse range of dishes, from sesame-ginger-infused tuna tartare to Moroccan spiced lamb and steak frites. The restaurant boasts an upscale interior and outdoor patio for romantic evenings.
Tucked away in an unassuming low-looking building on the outside is Ella's. Inside is a gorgeous space befitting the best guests. Service is warm and friendly, treating you very well and attentive, perfectly timed. I asked for a special request and they accommodated and then some. I was impressed by their polish and thoughtfulness to the entire experience. Each drink is unique and well-crafted, as is each menu selection we ordered. Calamari - a staple in Rhode Island, was originally prepared and done to perfection.... a rarity as most places generally overcook them. Meals were scallops and a fillet. Again, original preparations and perfectly served to temp with impressive flavors. Dessert - a special Black Forest Cake was exceptionally flavored, moist and artfully plated. Make it a special night and enjoy the experience Ella's provides. You won't be disappointed.

An amazing meal start to finish - excellent service and truly fine dining. I love truffles and thought the mushroom risotto was out of this world. The wine list was extensive and the menu offered incredible choices. Far and away, however, the best part of the evening was the hospitality. With no Ubers available and the local cab company a no show, the owner kindly drove us to out hotel!!! We were stunned by this act of kindness, and what a lovely guy! 5 stars are not enough.
Katie Bachner — Google review
I have dined at every restaurant in Westerly and this is the best. In fact you can expand that area from Providence to New London and still call it the best. This is no bargain eaters delight. This is high quality food that is discriminately sought out and selected. The detail is down to the garnish. No store bought micro greens here. The portions are appropriate for the fabulous rich food they serve. Everything cooked to perfection. Scallops, calamari, and veal chop are on so many menus but are often low quality or over or under cooked. I had all three here and I cannot over use the word perfection. It was a busy night yet a calm atmosphere was abound. When I go out I am looking to enjoy 3 things, enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere, exquisite libations, and food that is both pleasing to the eye and the pallet. I have been here twice now and have experienced nothing less than.. yes I’ll say it again Perfecto! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t wait to go back and try their burger 🍔 !

Been wanting to try Ella’s for the past couple years and finally had the opportunity. Was a nice dining experience. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere with upscale pricing. We started with leek and mussels which was excellent. Very fresh and tasty. For meals we had the venison special and a shrimp scampi. The venison was exceptional. The scampi was over spiced for the average person but I like spicy so it was fine. We finished with coffee and a couple deserts, cheesecake and crème brûlée. The crime brûlée was exceptional. The cheesecake was underwhelming. The ice cream they topped it with was very good. A nice night out, fantastic service and not rushed. We will certainly revisit.

My boyfriend & I celebrated a night away, a staycation of sorts to Westerly, Rhode Island. Ella’s was a place we found online and we were impressed by their menu. Once we got to the restaurant, we were already impressed with how their team greeted us and made us felt welcome. Our waiter was so professional and sweet. He made incredible recommendations. The curry mussels are .. just wow! We also had a special that was worth the drive in itself. This is place is a must.

This is the second time I have come to Ella’s Food and Drink for dinner and the second time I had a 5 star dinning experience . Tonight meal consisted of the Duck Udon which is seared duck breast on a bed of Udon noodles with a mix of sautéed mushrooms with Bok Choy and Hoisin sauce. My entree was delicious. The duck breast was perfectly cooked and the sauté was light and tasty. I also ordered a desert that was on the specials menu as advised by our waitress. I had the coconut tres leches cake which included a scoop of passionfruit sorbet and coconut gelato with a passionfruit and strawberry crumb topping (reminded me of Captain Crunch flavor). I loved everything about that dessert, unbelievably great. Well done!

Stop looking for another restaurant. Ella's is spectacular. From the service to the cocktails to every bite you taste you are wrapped in a culinary experience. The veal special melted in my mouth and came close to how my favorite Restaurant in Paris prepares it. The blend of flavors in both appetizers we ordered (fried mushrooms and beet gnocchi) can't be beat. Service was lovely, we were not rushed and our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Make your reservation now - and enjoy!
