Great food! Especially the pizza box fuil of kebab meats, salad and cheesy chips. Tasty food 😋 yummy
Concrete Man — Google review
The BEST kebab in the area! Actually I'd go as far to say anywhere in the south west of Oxfordshire! I usually phone through so my order can start to be prepped. Always a spotless van and the portions are always generous!
Zennor Juno — Google review
I met a friend nearby and was in a rush and hungry. Saw this place on Google maps nearby. A little disappointing that it was cash only but there is a cash point two 2 minutes down the road. The chap in the Van was friendly and accommodating and it was £8.50 for a chicken shish kebab. It was decent.
James Chapman — Google review
Always freshly cooked food, which is tasty. Best kebab and burgers in the area.
David Poultney — Google review
Best kebab for miles around. Great value, super clean van and friendly owner. Always quick, tasty and generous with the salad 👌👌👌

Great food. Awesome delivery. Highly recommend 👌

Meat doner is made of minced meat, when it is real meat, the doner does not look as flat as paper, I do not like doner made of minced meat. The staff is very good and friendly, other products may be good but I haven't tried them.

Disgusting food. Please do not order from this place. Please save your money and go elsewhere.

Pizzas stuffed right to the edges, much better than a hard crust all the way around like the main chain pizza delivery companies, we tried this takeaway as we were In the area and pleasantly surprised, would recommend.
Paul Jamieson — Google review
It's great value for food, and delivery is reasonable too. Perfect for a 'cheeky' take-out on the odd occasion... I wish they'd sell the Scampi separately to chips though, and add fish fingers to the menu, as my son doesn't eat meat... service is always good, and they're always friendly. Can't fault them at all, and would definitely recommend.
Lisa Carver — Google review
I have not had a Kebab in a good 5 or so years and after this one it may be longer, half the meat in mine was chewy or gristly, the salad was dry especially the cucumber. Expensive for what it is. I wont be returning.

Counter-service coffee chain offering hot drinks, iced coolers, sweet snacks and sandwiches.
Always use the drive-thru en route to work in Oxford. Friendly efficient staff and always good coffee. This morning I stopped to order and before I could say anything I was asked “Will you have your usual..?!” “Yes,” I cried and told them how flattered I was that they knew what my usual is! All good. Thanks. I’ll be back…!

Friendly staff. Very Clean store. Not enough dietary choices of cakes and treats. Ladies toilets the hand drier was not working. Purchased a too good to go bag, very good value. Charging points for plugs and USB. Free Wi-Fi. Outside seating. Free of charge car park. Drive through.
Nicki Styles — Google review
Only 4 stars ‘cause the tables could have been cleaned more frequently. The place was very busy and although we could find a free table to sit at, we probably would be sitting at a different table if that would have been cleaned. Usual quality of the food, no problem with that.
Peterne Gilanyi — Google review
Pretty poor experience. Wanted a quick coffee to go but it took a good 15min from start to finish. It would have been longer if I had not intervened to make sure my ticket didn't get leap frogged buy others. This was ~11:15 on a Sunday.

Come here a lot and staff are always lovely and service is always speedy . Been served a lot by a girl lately, I think her name is Shannon. She is always nice and always got a smile on her face and gives a good chat. Enjoy coming to this costa when I see she is working.

I go here regularly. I love a mocha and the cheese and tomato toasties The staff are friendly even when busy, the prices are reasonable, and there are plugs to plug in your laptop and use it as a desk from home for an hour or two.

I have always had great service from all the staff at this Costa. There is one member of staff who stands out to me and his name is Simon, he is friendly and always smiles and always friendly, he is a credit to Costa.

Bed & breakfast
The Trout at Tadpole Bridge is a charming and picturesque British restaurant situated alongside the scenic River Thames. This inn offers a warm welcome to its guests, providing six rooms that surround a beautiful courtyard. The restaurant has been recognized with an AA rosette for its excellent cuisine. In addition to enjoying the exquisite food, visitors can also take advantage of the inn's own section of river and private mooring.
It's a lovely and such picturesque place located on Thames river. Food is great for a pub. Good service and lots of seating options. Definitely worth stopping by when in the area!

We had two tables put together outside as the Bank Holiday weekend weather was amazing. The garden I set right next to the Thames and the scenery is lovely. However, I felt the menu was limited unfortunately. I had the battered haddock which was beautiful as was the tartar sauce but none of us liked the mushy peas which was made with garden peas and fairly tasteless. The ambience was relaxed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely pub to visit, very popular with young families which is always a bonus if you have small children but still want an adult conversation! Having the space outside was great for my toddler Grandbaby, not sure if we'd have enjoyed ourselves as much if we had had to stay indoors.

Our visit to Tadpole Bridge was an absolute delight. Kaylee's exceptional hospitality from the moment we stepped in made us feel truly welcome. Despite our initial concerns about not having reservations, the staff, including Kaylee, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was seamless. Kaylee's assistance in selecting dishes, particularly the Chicken Burger and Chicken Thighs, added a personalized touch to our evening. The Chicken Burger was a savory masterpiece, while the Chicken Thighs were cooked to perfection, showcasing the culinary expertise in the kitchen. The neat and upscale ambiance of the palace added a touch of sophistication to our dining experience, though it comes at a higher price point. Tadpole Bridge, with its welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, proved to be a memorable dining destination. Kaylee's warmth and the tantalizing flavors make it a place worth revisiting.

My husband and I had lunch today at The Trout. The location is lovely right on the river with a very nice large garden. The service was excellent - we had a great waiter called Luke who looked after us and made some excellent recommendations from the menu. The food was super - I had the roast beef. V well cooked and plenty of it. My husband had the vegetarian wellington with a lovely mushroom sauce which I am going to try next time. Would definitely recommend this establishment and will be back. I am sure it would be a great place to stay..

Very disappointed at this place as they have an online booking system that allows to book a table so I booked one on Thursday afternoon for Sunday lunch and got an email saying booking is not confirmed and then on Friday an email saying the booking was cancelled. I understand that it can be challenging for a restaurant to manage bookings and I am sure that some other bookings go through just fine but sadly, this was not our case. Also, if this approach is used, sending emails of non-confirmed booking, what are we supposed to do as consumers? Make many bookings to different places just in case something goes wrong? Many places have booking cancellation fees so it is not a viable option.

Excellent stop over at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge. Walking the Thames Path it was very nice to be greeted by friendly and attentive staff - Maisie especially. Food fabulous and atmosphere was welcoming. Our room was spacious and excellent facilities in room - personal coffee pod machine. Nothing was too much bother and they made us feel special despite our fleeting visit.

Hi Stayed here over night as a birthday treat with my friend. I give 5 star . Staff where so friendly and welcoming ..nothing was too much. Personal thank you to Kaylee & Danielle they both went the extra mile & clearly love there job ... cocktails were fantastic abd the food ...wow 👌 Had the most relaxing time .

We came for Sunday lunch, the service was, can I say, impeccable. Danielle our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Knowledgeable about the menu and delivered our food with a smile. She checked on us periodically asking after our meals which I have to say were delicious. I had traveled a long way that Sunday to meet up with a friend and found a place to eat that delivered an experience to savour. It is a meal and location that I won’t forget in a while.

I used to go regularly to the Trout at Tadpole Bridge but with lockdown it of course stopped us visiting. Today I managed to go with my wife for lunch, well all I can say is how dissatisfied I was with the food. I ordered crouton polenta with a pesto dip only to get four inch size pieces and the dip was dill based, far cry from pesto, £6.50 what a joke. My sausages and mash, dried up and tasteless. Wife’s meal was a piece of salmon, about the size of an average person’s palm with loads of chips, £25 which is a lot of money for “pub grub”. I really am disappointed as we had a birthday party there 2 years ago for 40 people, not only was the food fantastic but the service and staff were brilliant. They certainly need to get their act together before I venture back there. Oh and if you want a decent burger, which they used to do then don’t ask as the new version is a vegan one.
Fabrizio Manerba — Google review
We had a delicious meal and the service was great. Just one comment: both times we've had a Sunday roast at the Trout, the Yorkshire puddings have been flat as a pancake. Apart from that five stars all round!
Jenny Sowerby — Google review
We popped in for a relaxing beer at lunchtime after a long muddy walk and booked a table to come back in the evening for dinner - it’s a lovely location and the service at dinner from Spencer was top notch. Overall our food was great - I had the Cornish mussels and the mussels themselves were among the best I’d had but the beer based sauce was not to my taste! Starters pies pasta and puds all got top marks!

Stayed for a three night break with the purpose of visiting Oxford and surrounding area. Friendly welcome on arrival; shown to our room which was spacious and well decorated. Ate in the pub on two nights. Excellent choices on the menu. Both night we ate very well, quality of food was high. Service was efficient and very friendly. With a hearty selection for breakfast this pub offers excellent value for money. Throughout our visit the staff were friendly and affable. Will certainly look to stay in one of their sister hotels.

Today we went to The Trout for lunch for the first time. We had a really friendly welcome and help with the menu as one of our guests was gluten and dairy intolerant. Ellie was our waitress who was a breath of fresh air, she was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning. Lovely pub, good food, great team.

Lovely little pub in a gorgeous location with plenty of parking and great food. Visiting for food as part of a group of 35+ a small pub is always going to struggle to get all the food ready at the same time. These guys and gals did a great job of looking after us all. My humus starter was one of the best I’ve ever had, followed by a decent Burger and an excellent chocolate mousse. Will be back in a smaller group to enjoy the atmosphere better.

À welcome sight after a wet Thames walk. Welcomed by Spencer who put a log on the fire for us. Food was first class, very tasty and unusual recipes. I would highly recommend this pub

Had a lovely lunch recently with two friends. The food was delicious, service efficient but friendly and relaxed and the atmosphere was great. When we got the bill my friends commented on how reasonably priced it was too! Great pub, will definitely return

Great overnight stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and the best cocktails. Breakfast was good quality and a great start to our day. Would highly recommend.

The wife and I stopped off here for dinner just before a long drive home, we had spent the day at hoghclere castle then in the village where downtown abbey was filmed, the location is beautiful, the staff very friendly, the food was amazing!!! The wife had fish and chips ( crispy batter beautiful white flakey fish) i had chicken supreme off of the specials menu ( classy hunters chicken ) really could not fault anything from our quick visit, if we ever visit that way again will definitely be going back !!

Lovely environment and lovely food. My Dad really enjoyed the food (he’s a tough critic) as did we all. Ellie’s service was great. She was very helpful and friendly/polite. Many thanks. Also, extra points for allowing dogs ☺️

The Snooty Mehmaan is a pub that has been renovated with a stylish and modern interior. It offers both Indian and Thai cuisine options, as well as live tribute performances. The staff are accommodating, friendly, and exceptionally helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained, making guests feel like royalty. The restaurant provides an incredible dining experience with flavors that are packed into each dish by the talented chef or chefs.
Lovely restaurant with lots of options on the menu. Food was authentic tasting with lots of flavour and you can tell that good quality ingredients are used. Would definitely come back here. Only issue I experienced was that a lot of the dishes contained nuts and menu could have been clearer on allergy advice. However staff were helpful with explaining this. Overall a lovely experience - would definitely recommend!

Food very good, we had a takeaway and everything was tasty and each dish had a clear flavour. Korma sauce was thick and coconut flavoured, weeping tiger steak was juicy. Only criticism is the price - £5 for a side of rice, and £12 for 5 very meagre duck pancakes was a bit steep.

Fantastic Could not have asked for better service. Attention to detail, ready on time … Sunday lunch for 14 friends prepared and packed. Amazing food all guests commented on the quality. Vegan’s taken care of with special dishes. Will not hesitate to us this restaurant again

I’m not sure why this isn’t a Michelin star restaurant. At minimum this should be in their guide! Food is absolutely fabulous and service perfect. Always brings a smile to my face the food. Can’t find any complaints and is why family and I keep coming back. Keep it up!

Booked this at the last minute and how lucky are we that we got a table!! The food, service and staff were all unbelievable!! Nothing was too much trouble and the service was perfect. The food was delicious, best Indian I’ve had for a while and will 100% be coming back when we are in Oxfordshire 😀

Outstanding food and attentive staff! First time in The Snooty Mehmaan, turned up casually dressed with two kids in tow. The staff were the perfect, attentive without being overbearing, their knowledge of the menu, the dishes’ origins and recommendations on choice made it easy for us to try food we wouldn’t normally consider. Everything had a home made, authentic feel to it. Honestly one of the best places we’ve been in the area.

An absolutely first class Sunday lunch with a difference! We had a beautifully cooked selection of indian dishes 'tapas' style. Exceptional food and wonderful presentation. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend highly enough and we'll certainly be back!

We only used the restaurant, a very interesting menu with plenty of variety, based on Indian cuisine with other Asian dishes included. We all enjoyed our meals. Will definitely go back again.

Driven past this dozens of times and always wanted to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Such a beautiful restaurant. Impeccable attention to detail. Massively attentive staff. Food is top notch! I loved this place and will definitely return!
Martin Peapell — Google review
The restaurant is nice and the service is good, but unfortunately it was let down by the quality of the food. Oue Squid starters were rather tough and the portion was tiny. Our Garlic Chilli Chickens are best described as thin, flavourless heat. At £9 and £14 respectively they offerer very poor value for money. On top of the already high food prices, they then added a £26 "service charge" to my bill. Service charges are a particular dislike of mine and had I known they do this, we would not have eaten there. I could easily name a selection of Indian restaurants in the Swindon area where the quality of the food would be streets ahead of this place, half the price and with no service charge. Disappointing and expensive. I see in the restaurants reply to my review, they point out that the service charge is made clear at the start of the menu. I admit that I missed this, but I'd love to know what would happen had I complained about it? As they had insisted on taking my credit card details to book a table, would I have been charged if we decided to find an alternative place to eat on the night? It's a bit late to tell you the price just went up 12% after you've been served drinks and have been seated.
Nick Clarke — Google review
This place is amazing!! The staff were so accommodating and friendly , exceptionally helpful and the rooms were beautiful! Very very posh and well maintained , we felt as though we were royalty staying there , we also decided to dine in the restaurant in the evening , and to say the food is out of this world would be an understatement , how the chef/chef's managed to pack so much flavour into eat dish I have no idea , one of the best meals I have ever eaten , would 100% go again and cannot recommend this place enough , keep up the great work guys 👍🏼

We drove up to Faringdon for a couple of days escape from London. Found Snooty Mehmaan through hotel recommendation. Its rare that I would give 5*, but the food, service and ambience were truly excellent. Well worth a visit should be in these parts.
Peter Jayawardena — Google review
Went he for a meal for my birthday and I'm a big fan of curry as I'm half Indian. I have been to many curry and Thai restaurants and was looking for to coming here but the food was a big let down and I've had better currys elsewhere, the curry was very thin, tasteless and not a lot of meat in curry! Very expensive for the portion size! Place looks good inside but sorry won't be coming again

Had an amazing time at the Snooty Mehmaan! Firstly, we were greeted so graciously by the staff when we arrived - they were so friendly and welcoming! The decor was so inviting and fancy, very luxurious. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the mixed grill. I genuinely don't think I've ever had a better dish - it was delicious! Cannot fault the experience, it was amazing. We will 100% be returning and bringing family next time.
