The waiter at Joe Le Snacky, whose name may have been Nadieg, is delightful and accommodating. He is also proficient in speaking Spanish. The menu offers ample options for vegetarians and the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous and the food itself is flavorful. It is highly recommended to save room for dessert as it's worth returning for. The restaurant boasts delicious cuisine in a picturesque setting.
Fantastic restaurant serving wonderful food all day for the myriad of visitors to the Gorge du Verdon! Wonderfully accommodating staff!

It's a nice place to be! But... hygiene is not so well known to them yet. restaurant efficiency has already stopped altogether. Then discuss the food properly: 1 portion freezes with chicken: good quantities, but the chicken has been on the grill for too long, quite burnt, French taste? the wrap with kebab was a good quantity. but seasoning kebab with a lot of chili pepper then something is not right. service: one does not know what the other is doing, reasonable waiting, not too long. but then you have to queue again to pay. Once again, there is still a lot to be achieved in terms of efficiency, hygiene and quality.

Very good place. I ate a salad and my girlfriend a guiche. Both delicious. To place for a lunch.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting. Service was friendly. A great spot for after a day of climbing! Went back the next morning and grabbed a sandwich for our hike. Yummy!!

Likeable: 1. The desserts 2. The space and seating possibilities 3. Amicable and efficient staff 4. Open till 2100 hours so you can rely on it for grabbing a bite Disappointing: 1. The taste 2. Late in the evening, there was only one person handling everything, thus, a bottleneck was created and it took a long time even for the simplest of the dishes

The waiter (Nadieg, I think was his name) is lovely and helpful, he also speaks Spanish. About the food, good veggie options and reasonable price. Portions were generous and tasty. Definitely coming back for the desserts.

Fantastic ice cream and reasonable price. You should definitely enjoy the food sitting on the terrace which has a nice view.

Hey all, we loved it, to eat at „Joe Le Snacky“ We hat a „Quiche Legumes“ with salat, a „Panini Legumes“ with salat and a big portion french fries. It was all very delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy and we had such a nice view of the mountains. Last but not least the service- everyone from the service team was super friendly and courteous. Thanks for having us 💚✨

Staff is nice and welcoming (which goes against some negative comments that I have seen). Maybe you need to arrive early as the terrace can be busy and the wait longer. The terrace is quite pleasant. The food is snack food so basic (at least what we had) but it does the job.

It now 50 min of waiting , several other tables were served before us. We told waitress that our 4 kids are hungry but to no avail. Hopefully the food is better then the service. The restaurant was almost empty. Avoid. Now about the food, 2 spagetti sauce provancale our kids did not eat although very hungry. 3 hamburges : ordered 2 well done 1 medium rare. Received 3 well done - one of them cold. French fries were ok. The waitres also1* clearly she does not like her job.

The Bar restaurant De la Place is a welcoming and friendly establishment situated on the square. It offers a clean and affordable dining experience. The outdoor terrace even has a small sunny boule court. The service is great, and the food is amazing, earning it a perfect rating of 10/10. One can indulge in the lavender menu to celebrate being in Provence, which is absolutely delightful.
Thank you for the wonderful experience! The salad, main course and dessert were all yummy! The waitress and waiter were helpful and warm. The next morning, we were even able to pack a sandwich lunch, delicious homemade cake and hot coffee for our long hike to Moustiers Sainte Marie because the cafe opens so early at 7am! An absolute gem that we shall remember. 😊

Terrible. 10 euros for one scoop of ice cream and half a cup of store bought heavy cream. Don't get ripped off here

Oof, whatever you decide to eat in La Palud, don't order pastas here. Or just don't go here. Overcooked pasta with...no ingredients. Gnocchi alla pesto for E18,00 was...a bowl of overcooked (!!) Gnocchi with pesto from a can, judging by the puddle of oil. With nothing else. Production cost: E1,00. I repeat: E18,00. The waitress was friendly but only managed to produce "sorry" after I quite gently told her it was disappointing, while in reality this is simply...robbery. Edit: Thanks for your reply. I appreciate doing your best to get the freshest food out there and I enjoyed the Taggiasca olives. However, I've had and made numerous pestos but never have I seen a 1-2cm deep pool of oil left in a bowl, plus it was too salty to taste fresh. I repeat: the Gnocchi was soggy and overcooked, my penne was also overcooked and just dull in general. I know cooking comes with pride, but critique brings you forward.

(Translated by Google) Poor quality of food. Pizza dough was not fully baked, lasagna came from a package. Prices extremely high so I expected at least home-cooked meals. Service didn't speak French. Glasses were very dirty and still had water in them from previous customers. We would never come back here again.

The Crêperie Le Tilleul is a delightful establishment with delectable crepes and a charming owner. The friendly staff provides helpful recommendations regarding local farms, ruins, and Buddhist monasteries. It's a must-visit spot for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. This cute eatery offers both sweet and savory options, all of which are delicious. The waiter is incredibly welcoming and attentive to customers' needs.
Very cute place with good crepes 👍🏻 we tried the salty and sweet ones and they were very nice. The waiter was super friendly too 🤗

Vandaag gegeten bij Crêperie Le Tilleul. Gezellig aandoend klein etablissement. De Gastheer was een vriendelijke, spraakzame, aimabele man. Sprak ook goed Engels; en we voelden ons meteen thuis. De crèmes (met zalm en prei) waren heerlijk; en zo ook de spaghetti bolognese. Ook de prijs was zeker niet duur. De moeite waard! (Translated by Google) Ate today at Crêperie Le Tilleul. Cozy little establishment. The Host was a friendly, talkative, amiable man. Also spoke good English; and we immediately felt at home. The creams (with salmon and leek) were delicious; and so is the spaghetti bolognese. The price was certainly not expensive either. Worth the effort!

Nice crêpes in generous portions. The owner is a show man. Really nice atmosphere!
Daniela Duarte Moreira — Google review
Friendly guy, but the food... price and quality absolutely failed. You can do better! Spagetti Bolognese for 13 Euro was a rip off, cheap spaghetti, tasteless tomato sauce and I really couldn't find the beef/meat. You can do better!

If you are tired of waiting on the Main Street , Here you could find okay homemade crepes and friendly owner .

Bezocht in hoogseizoen. Heel lekker, maar heeeeeel lang wachten. Vriendelijke, grappige bediening, maar een uur wachten op een pannenkoek gaat er een beetje over. Correcte prijs. (Translated by Google) Visited in high season. Very tasty, but a very long wait. Friendly, funny service, but waiting an hour for a pancake is a bit overkill. Correct price.

Nestled in a stunning natural setting, Hôtel & Spa des Gorges du Verdon offers modern accommodations with breathtaking mountain views. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a spa for relaxation, and a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the picturesque Lake of Castillon. The restaurant serves an array of dishes including gluten-free galettes, vegetarian and vegan options, grilled meats, snacks, BBQ during live concerts, and wood-fired pizzas in the evening.
Lovely and charming familiy hotel near Les Gorges du Verdon site. Perfect for relax and disconnect. Stunning view during the breakfast. PS : If you can take your bike for a ride, it will be a very good starting point !

True to the 4 stars. A nice hotel if you want to visit the beautiful surrounding area but don’t expect someone to help with bags or park your car. The hotel felt like parts of it (the deck and restaurant area) had recently been re-done and were very picturesque while the hallways were very dark and old. The restaurant was VERY good. Make sure to try the provencial Gin and Tonic, it was spectacular.
camden murtagh — Google review
Ridiculously overpriced! 350 EUR a night (breakfast extra) for a tiny room with max. 3 star level furnishing. No minibar. This is not a luxury 4 star hotel. What do they think this is? St. Tropez? Paris? Total ripoff for the price. Best go and stay at one of the cheaper hotels in town.

Been on the restaurant only - one big mistake from admin: they did accept the reservation from The Fork for 14:00, but when we arrived (14:05) the kitchen was closed. They mentioned that an email was sent (11:29 when we were already on the road) explaining kitchen closes at 14:00 and suggesting to arrive at 13:30. Why offer this slot in app then!? After this initial (poor) situation, I have to recognize they did the best to overcome the problem and offer the best possible (salads and cold tapas). Service in salon was outstanding and drinks also very good. The view is superb. And hotel infra also seems very good. Admin just need to improve skills to manage it's internet presence...

We had a great stay. Breakfast was excelent. A big variety. And tasty. We had dinner at the first night the food was good. My husband had a good massage. Room clean and comfortable.

It was a really nice place. Nice art. Beautiful location. You are on your own for any of your other than basic needs. You are in the gorge, so consider it like camping, but with a comfortable bed. There is a town just a 10 minute walk to get food other than breakfast, which they do serve at the hotel, and it was excellent. They have dinner sometimes, but not during our stay. It is remote, so wi-fi issues should be expected. There are beautiful views of the gorge, but not the lake. You do need to travel about 20-30 minutes by car to the lake. We did partake of the spa services. They were very professional in their presentation. They provide access to a swim spa, but it, and the hot tub was not at a temperature that I would expect to be certain they are free of germs; and the swim spa had dirty looking oil on the side from previous bathers that caused me discomfort. It was a pleasant, but not extraordinary stay.

Don’t expect 4 stars hotel. It’s barely a 3 stars No front desk after 10pm Only a poor vending machine with chips and sodas for the room service Food at the restaurant was acceptable but overpriced for what you eat. Rooms are smaller than in pictures. Amenities are old and poor. The pool is cold and dirty After that I spent $900 in the hotel for 2 nights, They wanted to charge me for 6 breakfast but I only used 2! Worst: 1 hour after my checkout they called me to tell me that I stole a pillow (yes!) and they charged me $50 for that. It’s a shame!!! If you’re looking for a real service and real local food, go to : la bastide du moustiers. It’s the same price and the restaurant is amazing and amenities are like what you should found in a 4 stars hotel

Horrible staff with very bad attitude towards kids. When asked about the management the answer was very aggressive. I wonder why a hotel this beautiful got a very unprofessional and unpleasant staff. Restaurant staff were nice and breakfast was good while dinner wasn’t that good.

So, we arrived at Hotel & Spa des Gorges du Verdon...... after spending one night here, we’ve found that it’s a beautiful serene hotel surrounded by amazing country side and mountains as far as the eye can see!
We ate in the restaurant which was lovely and the food....it was the best meal we have had in the past 3 weeks, the staff are lovely and very efficient, why wouldn’t they be? It’s a family run hotel and boy do we notice the difference!
I love our room and the views well, I’ve already mentioned the views....
Highly recommend for a break especially if you like cycling as there seems to be a lot of cyclists around on the roads!
A beautiful small boutique hotel, expertly run by independently by a family who cater for your every need.

Food was just terrible! The fish soup looked and tasted, and even had a gritty texture like mud. The main of lamb was 2 stingey slivers but not very tasty. Dessert was not good at all either. Shame because given its location, nice decor, lovely staff and very limited menu, you would hope for a lot better. The cheese course was the only tasty thing we ate there and the wine was decent

The Auberge des Crêtes 930m is a charming lodging that boasts tastefully adorned accommodations, a lively bar, and an informal eatery with outdoor seating. Situated in a convenient location for exploring the breathtaking Verdon Gorges, this cozy inn offers delectable and generous dishes. Although slightly pricey, the food is of exceptional quality and the experience overall is worth it. The establishment also provides picturesque views and a welcoming atmosphere.
Did not stay in hotel, but had flat tire and the hotel owner or employee came to help and swapped out for the spare tire. Very thankful.

Great scenery. Phenomenal(!) burger. Just a little expensive. ~60 euros for 3 burgers with a small portion of fries, one cola, and a liter bottle of water. But it was a really nice experience, so it was worth it.

Mooie plek om koffie te drinken voordat je de Route des Crêtes gaat rijden. Let op dat je hier met de klok mee de route moet rijden omdat halverwege eenrichtingsverkeer is ingesteld. Horrible place. We got left outside and didn't get in to the premises, no contact from the hotel when we tried calling them multiple times, before we were arriving. I tried to submit this review via booking.com but they did not approve it as it was too negative, no wonder why the hotels there have a good rating.

Null, nada, very unfriendly and rude staff, they don't even reply when you order, no coordination between them, the food portion is small and a little expensive, the riz was so dry you can chock while eating. Recommended that you skip this place, and continue 1 km further to La Palud, lots of restaurants ahead
