I had lunch at the Rive Gauche, a charming restaurant located on the Left Bank at the Place de la Fontaine. The decor in this establishment is delightful, creating an excellent atmosphere for diners. The service provided was top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed their plat du jour, which was reasonably priced at 11 euros. Furthermore, in Aiguines village there is a small restaurant called ale Rive Gauche that offers a lovely outdoor seating area across the street.
Great food. It really looks homemade and taste better. Dessert is also really good.

In the middle of the village Aiguines there is this little restaurant ale Rive Gauche. The have a nice area outside across the street where you can sit and enjoy dinner. The food was nice and fresh. The have a nice menu for a good price. The staff was friendly and did there work with a smile. 👍🏼☺️ You can park in the village for free and there are enough parking places in the area. Near this village there is a nice lake. The area is beautiful.

Very good food! Reasonable portions! Rich choice within the set menu! Recommended dessert: Iles flottantes.

Great food well priced. Probably the ambience deserves 5* on sunny days at the outside area.

Food was great. Service was slow over 1 hours for mains. If you have time on your hands then enjoy. Make sure your order is taken correctly or you may be surprised.

Quite simply one of my favourite restaurants. I go out of my way every year when visiting France to come here. Beautiful food and excellent service in a lovely setting.

Elise Et Moi is a delightful restaurant located in the picturesque town of Aiguines. Their cremeux pizzas are said to be the most delectable you will ever taste. The food, including their vegetarian pizza, is incredibly delicious. Situated in a charming spot, dining here provides a truly pleasant experience. The dessert, particularly the cre brulee, is also highly enjoyable.
The cremeux pizzas here will be the best pizza i have ever Eaten in my life. The food is really delicious, also the vegetarian pizza was really nice. The place it self is situated in the pittoreske middle of Aiguines which makes it a real nice experience to dine here. The dessert (for us the crème brulee) is also really good. We are surprised about the quality, if we knew this we would come more often, but the vacation is over. Thanks Elise et Moi for this nice experience. Also, order the white wine bottle, its epic!

Wonderful little place to stop and have a coffee on our way to the Gorge. Friendly staff and nice to sit and watch the world go by.

This tiny spot feels homey, food is of very good quality and prices are very free. If you are looking for a charming little lunch and extremely friendly service, this is the spot.

(Translated by Google) By far the best cuisine in Aiguines. With very nice decoration (nice to eat inside during a rare rain). Homemade fries, delicious burger, fresh pasta with vegetables... We feel that the quality of the ingredients is there, for a very reasonable price! I also recommend the lost brioche, a treat!

Logis Hôtel du Grand Canyon du Verdon offers unassuming rooms, most with balconies, providing panoramic views. It serves as the starting point for the horse-riding trail leading to the Imbut Trail and is a meeting place for the Estellie-Imbut aquatic hike. The hotel's terrace offers a bird's-eye view of the canyon, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a drink.
This place has absolutely amazing views and delicious food. We did have one problem with our rooms where the hot water heater broke and leaked and so we had to get transferred to another room without a view, but we were able to get transferred back to the room with the view the next night and got charged for the cheaper room both nights which was nice. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, but also be warned that their English is not the best so it really helps to have someone there who speaks French in your party. If you do have someone that speaks French though, they are helpful and accommodating and especially the son is very kind and happy to chat.

Great place to stop for a drink and a meal and take in the fantastic view of the Verdun Gorge. Staff were very friendly. Easy parking. There is also a small hotel here.
David Bennett — Google review
I’m under the impression that the service towards French people is okay, but as a non-French tourist the service was more then just bad. At one point, when we answered her that we had already ordered our drinks with her colleague earlier, the waitress/owner rolled here eyes and said “I don’t care, then don’t order anything” (yes, we do speak French). I can’t speak to quality of the food, we didn’t want to stay any longer to try it. The views upon the gorges are amazing though. Even so, I could not recommend this place to anyone. We’re not one to leave a negative review , but we really disliked the way they treated people. Interacting with them could simply ruin your day and thats just not worth it.

Exceptional hotel in the border of the Canyon du Verdon. Stunning view from the room window and from the restaurant. Good dinner, nice breakfast. Service is kind and receptive. In the hotel hall you find a piano, books and plenty of board games. Rooms have TV, a private bathroom with a comfortable shower and a balcony.

Absolutely lovely little hotel right in the middle of the Gorges du Verdon, on a perilous mountain road, stunning views over the canyon and down to the river from the restaurant terrace and room terrace if you're lucky. Arrive at 7:30pm if you want to get the best views for dinner. Very helpful staff, good food and nice bathrooms too.

Vanaf het buitenterras een adembenemend uitzicht. Bediening doet haar werk maar straalt niet, lijkt het niet bij te kunnen benen, uitzondering daargelaten. Ijscoupes waren heerlijk. Koffie ook goed. (Translated by Google) A breathtaking view from the outdoor terrace. Management does its job but does not shine, seems unable to keep up, with some exceptions. Ice cream sundaes were delicious. Coffee also good.

Stayed for 2 nights, lovely family and location is perfect for hiking. It’s basic but all you need. Would happily stay there again

Fantastic view from room/balcony on canyon side. We booked on the canyon side and have a small gated "balcony" which opens onto a larger shared balcony (shared between 3-4 rooms)...at the edge of the shared balcony is the fantastic view! The restaraunt has a small but good menu and the food was more than good enough after a long hot day of driving. Be aware that they are only open for dinner between 19:30-20:30...a tight window considering there is nowhere else to eat within a forty minute drive. Rooms are for the most part clean..the bathroom unfortunately is not ventilated and smells heavily of mildew...the room and hallways do not however...which is rare in many of the hotels in south france. if you drive through the lavender fields like we did just pick up a lavender sachet and drop it between the pillows :)

The negative reviews are undeserved. While not all the food was 10/10 (the steak tartare was not really nice) the service, staff and view were amazing. The prices are not low, but that is expected with a location like this.

They rely on the splendid location and amazing view, but unfortunately the effort ends there. We paid 7€ for a bottle of water for which I paid 1,50€ somewhere else (that would be ok..) but the staff was very unfriendly and even rolled their eyes a few times. When my friend and I walked in (we were hiking the entire day and looked exhausted...) the elderly lady looked at us with a mimic “what the hell are u doing here?” I felt very unwelcome.

Le vieux château is a charming Provençal-style hotel that offers complimentary Wi-Fi and features a relaxed restaurant with outdoor dining. The setting is beautiful, but some guests have expressed disappointment with the quality of the meals, citing issues such as industrial sauce on salads, dry pizza, and small portions for the dish of the day. Despite its lovely exterior, some visitors do not recommend it due to these culinary concerns.
I can only speak to the restaurant, but the food was terrific with great service essentially in the town square. We went to see "the France Grand Canyon" nearby and stumbled into this adorable town with roses everywhere, and some local dogs. I had truly great pistou (which is kind of like minestrone with pesto) and my friend had a truly life-changing lavender creme brulee.

Excellent. If you are in the area you have to come here, sit down, order a drink (or two), food and enjoy the view. It's a wonderful experience and you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for an authentic small French town experience, this is it.

Unfriendly, bad service and price-performance-ratio (Opinion about hotel, not restaurant): Explanation: Staff reacted immediately unfriendly upon seemingly small irritation (which they admitted was their mistake). Also forgot to inform us about the necessity to use the fire escape in the mornings which led us to feel locked within the iron gated stair case. Upon finding us behind the gate: no apologies but unfriendly uttered "reminder" to use fire escape. Room wasn't entirely clean. Wifi didn't work (which staff wouldn't admit or offer constructive feedback). Price point way too high for small and stuffy room with smallish bed (just my subjective opinion.

Pleasant if rather average restaurant. Popularity greatly helped by the fact that there is so little competition in the village. Busy staff work hard but can only do so much when the food isn't anything special We didn't have pizzas which on reflection may have been a better, less demanding choice. Fresh fish was good, steak so-so, pasta really quite poor. Far superior options are just down the road in les Salles-sur-Verdon.

The kind staff is the only positive on this bar but the capuccino is horrible. If you ever read about France cafe and spending the time with good caffe, don’t believe that! The next awful cafe further more prepared from instant caffe.

The Pizza was delicious and the waiter was very friendly. I would definitely repeat. The style of the pizza is of thin crust and very tasty. The place is also really charming.

Avoid at all costs if you have an allergy. We went there this evening and the owner would not alter the dish in any way even though we could not eat it due to a severe allergy. He was more considered with how the dish would look rather than being concerned about a medical incident. Having worked in the hospitality sector I can say that the manager was the rudest, most inflexible and inconsiderate manager I've ever come across.

I don't know about the hotel itself but we stopped there on our way to the St Croix lake to get some food and it was pretty delicious. The terrace is in the middle of the town so you can still look at whats going on and enjoy the sound of running water with the fountain that's right next to the terrace.

La Guinguette du Lac, located near camping Le Galetas, exceeded expectations as a restaurant. It was stumbled upon unintentionally while heading to the city for dinner and turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The flavors were diverse and the service from both the waiter and chef was prompt. The staff displayed friendliness and efficiency throughout our visit. On another occasion, we returned and ordered meat cooked medium; it was executed flawlessly for lamb, entrecote, and burger.
Great place, salads are huge and the service is very fast. Very nice people too, attentive and polite. Has a kids menu that comes with ice cream and drinks. It’s off menu so you have to ask. It’s the only place in the area if you’re at lac saint croix at one of their beaches. Recommended. Share a salad as they are humongous!!

One lady staff was very friendly and excellent. A gentleman disregard my request to cook my burger more, not sure why, maybe he didn’t understand my English? I couldn’t eat the raw burger, because I am a well-done person. (The edge was well done, but the center part was raw.)
Tuesbelles — Google review
The place is way above the expectations for a “restaurant” next to the camping Le Galetas. We discovered it by mistake when we were on our way to the city to have dinner and we thought that instead of driving we should try it. We were impressed by the mixture of flavors and the quickness of the waiter and of the chef. Very friendly staff and efficient! Next evening we stopped by again! We asked to have the meat medium done and it was perfectly medium done for the lamb, entrecôte and the burger. The burger is juicy and has veggies that are not usually in a meat burger (zucchini, egg plant - grilled, of course) and has fries (home made not frozen) and salad.
