Dionysos is a delightful and hospitable eatery offering a diverse range of Greek cuisine at affordable prices. Their menu boasts an impressive assortment of traditional dishes, such as delectable honey-wrapped feta and succulent marinated pork. Situated in an inviting outdoor terrace, this restaurant provides a charming ambiance for all diners. Despite some previous complaints about flies, the proprietor took proactive measures by introducing incense burners to combat the issue.
Best food we've had so far in Corfu! We'll be back for sure later this week.

Lovely outdoor garden with a great atmosphere, also helps having delicious food (Great Veggie options). A good place to drink local wine too. staff were very accommodating, would highly recommend for a meal out!
This summer my girlfriend and I visited Dionysos 4 times during our 7 days stay... the menu choice is somewhat limited , but the food was excellent!! Very tasty... and prices are relatively low. And the people running the taverna are lovely. It has a great outdoor terrace. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely evening here, the food was amazing and the setting is beautiful. Nice wine, great meatballs and the feta in filo with honey was to die for. The server was very friendly and patient, and had perfect English. It wasn't too busy or empty.
We have driven past this Taverna for 10 years as it is set up a side street. Big mistake. Peaceful location and great ladies up front. Best Lamb Kleftiko I have had in Corfu and still on the Bone. Drive past and you will miss a hidden gem.
The food here was incredible - It exceeded our expectations! The place itself is adorable and the man there was lovely :) We would 100% recommend this restaurant very much and would go again and again 🥰
Really nice and friendly restaurant with a great selection of Greek food at a decent price. The feta wrapped in honey and the marinated pork were amazing!!! Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area. Someone else on here complained about the flies but we didn’t find this to be an issue, the owner even brought out incense burners later in the evening.
Lovely authentic Greek food and great service in a romantic setting. Unlike some other restaurants tables are well spaced out. There are different 'specials' added to the simple menu every day. The house wine is one of the best we had during our stay.

Bacchus is a gorgeous traditional Greek restaurant situated on the lovely sandy beach of Messonghi. The starters, main dishes and especially the fish are all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for an overall amazing experience. I would highly recommend Bacchus if you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience on Corfu!
Amazing place! Amazing food! And best service ever, this woman have golden heart ❤️ Portions are big and very very tasty. If I ever come back to Corfu I’ll come here once again for sure. Strongly recommend this restaurant!

Fantastic food. I came here with a group of 30 friends and we were very well looked after. The Greek salad was good but had lettuce. The calamari was incredible. The highlight was the sea bream which was served whole. It was cooked perfectly.
we stayed at the Oliver suites down the beach and decided to walk over and check this place out for lunch. AMAZING!!! the food was a 10/10, delicious greek salad, stuffed vine leaves and a fresh whole red snapper! just WOW! the lady working there was so sweet and kind, oh and I can't forget the fresh baklava that she made, ive never had anything so tasty! Right on the beach, clean, comfy! I would have eaten there every day.

The food was delicious and well presented! The Fagri fish was truly amazing and it was nice that 4 people can share it along with some appetizers. I didn’t like the attitude from the staff though. When we were ordering the server kept insisting on certain appetizers that she thought we need and that was not nice. They don’t give free desserts as a typical tavern would do which would have been a nice touch.
Fresh mussels, tasty food. The prices are really good. For example the pasta marinara is 12,5€. The restaurant is located on the beach, so the atmosphere is wonderful. Nice stuff. I’ll come back for sure

Best restaurant in Messonghi. I tried two other restaurants in the area but I regret not having every meal at Tarvern Bacchus. I came here a few times during my 4 day stay, and I loved every meal, especially the baked feta - a must try! It is perfectly seasoned, a bit spicy, not to mention at a great price. I also tried the tzatziki, fried squid, squid filled with cheese and tomatoes, mussels (tasty sauce), everything was delicious and very fresh ❤️ I will definitely keep the restaurant as a great memory from my trip. The owners are very nice and welcoming as well. Thank you very much for giving me a great greek food experience.
A very wonderful and very original seaside Greek taverna. You almost eat in the Beach.
They were able to seat me with no reservation in about 15 minutes, and the options there are endless.
Although, it has a lot of meat dishes we ordered artichokes that are amazing and shrimps.
Seafood was delicious and the service was incredible as well.
To conclude it is very good for what it is.
Highly recommend.

I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional steak dinner I had at Zaks Taverna. The steak was cooked flawlessly and possessed a remarkable flavor that left me both satisfied and impressed. Their meticulous attention to detail and use of high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also of the highest standard. The hospitality shown and attentiveness to customer needs enhanced the overall dining experience.
We had 2 meals here ^^ love the seafood risotto ^^ very nice choice in Corfu, good taste and nice environment, also good staff, yet there is one thing, mosquitoes, even though it is common problem in the Corfu even :) maybe offering the mosquito repellent can be an option for the customers.

Great place and great atmosphere and most of all, the best food in Greece. We ate here multiple times and the staff was the best. I’ll definitely come back to Corfu some day for this place.

Delicious food. Only place I've found with an actual vegetarian menu - the aubergine dish is really good! Tasted like an aubergine moussaka or lasagna. My husband really enjoyed his chicken dish. Good portions. Service was good but not excellent so only 4 stars.
My partner and I wanted a steak dinner and took the chance at this restaurant without reading the reviews. We were so impressed with the steaks and have since found amazing reviews here. The atmosphere and decorations were beautiful. Service was excellent with complimentary drink to finish the evening. We would definitely recommend this place.

We decided to give Kostas taverna a try because we heard it offered "authentic Greek cuisine" and we were not disappointed. It is one of the finest Greek restaurants we have visited. The interior, covered with grape vines, and the outdoor terrace create a charming atmosphere that reflects typical Greek decor. The food was exceptional; don't miss out on the deep-fried feta or grilled calamari. The garlic mushrooms are so delicious they could be a main course on their own.
Been told about this place from a friend and it was as good as he said.So my wife and i decided to go to celebrate my 60th birthday. From the moment you walk in ,it feels true greek.Greeted like an old friend, nothing was to much trouble,the food is all explained to you,no rushing about,they have time for their customers. We had a carafe of red wine with our meal and it was the best I have tasted so far.We opted for garlic mushrooms and grill feta starter. Both were very tasty and the local bread just highlights the flavour. We had the fillet steak with peppercorn and mushroom a la creme,both were superb,one of the best we have ever had.The portions are a good size,so no sweets this time.So if you want a traditional Greek meal with a warm welcome this is the place to go.We will go again before the end of the holiday.

We made a good decision to choose this taverna! As a group of 11 people we booked a table a night before. At 7 PM taverna was fully crowded!
Service was great, for food we wanted sea food: octopus, garlic prawns, saganaki prawns, some ate Caesar salad, also took saganaki (can’t visit Greece without eating it), everything tasted delicious. The portion of baby spaghetti bolognese was huge, but really tasty! For a surprise in the end we were complimented with deserts and hopefully local brandy!
Taverna is not on the sea front line, but is very cosy and green, the “ceilings” are of grapes, just fully green :)
Fantastic restaurant to eat at, gorgeous interior, very traditional Greek feel and homely.
The music is Greek and amazing.

The best restaurant in Messong! The most delicious food! everything from fish to meat to pasta! By the way, the pasta is tastier than in the Italian pizzeria nearby😂 and the portion is twice as big. I recommend not wasting time looking for a place to eat, go here right away.

Very friendly waiter, we had the entire place to ourselves as we arrived early during the quiet season. Food was very tasty and the waiter even gave us free dessert!
So we decided to try Kostas taverna because we were told it was "traditional Greek cuisine" and we were not disappointed.
It was probably one of the best Greek retsaurants I have been to.
The setting inside has you undercover of a grape vine and the outside terrace the same. Whilst the decor is typically Greek, it lends itself to it.
The food was amazing, try the deep fried feta or the grilled calamari.
As a starter the garlic mushrooms should be a main course.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and also readily available for ordering extras.
Definitely made our start to being in Corfu and amazing experience.
This is an amazing local taverna with a superb local cusine. Was recommended by our host otherwise we would be drawn into any other restaurant along the beach front. Dishes are truly authentic with layers of gentle Greek fragrances and slices. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Genuine Greek warmth and hospitality. They really value their customers. A warm genuine welcome and fabulous Greek fare. A must if you are staying in the area! Oh and fyi I was holidaying on my own. No problem getting a table (can be a problem on your own sometimes) they did not want me to leave (albeit admittedly I was in Corfu at the end of the season 😬).

Another year, another excellent review for this wonderful Taverna. I would highly recommend the food, they pride themselves on getting the very best, quality ingredients and it’s lovely to have so many traditional dishes to choose from. The food is always delicious but another big part of the experience is the service, they are so welcoming and fun, making you feel like an old friend or part of the Kostas family ❤️. I would advise booking as it’s very popular. We love it!

Very nice greece food combined with a great service. The prices are too low for what you get.

Amazing homemade vegetable soup, that can bring you from dead. Felt dizzy after a travel to Mesongi from Sidari and this soup saved my life. Also we were served by an amazing and attentive waitress.
UPDATE: went there for a second time. They should inform you, that their portions are huge. Avoid starters if you're going to eat main dishes, unless you want food coma. Vegetarian pizza - never I have ever seen and tased this pizza with so great and plentiful toppings! Wow! Best vegetarian pizza in an area for just 6.5 euros. Make it 12, it is worth it! :))
And again service - they treat you as a family member, who was long lost - with so much love and attention. Had amazing time here, please live and prosper, dears!!!
The best restaurant arnound the beach. First day we tried it and we decided to go dinner there every evening of our holiday. Atmosphere was magical, personal was amazing nice and friendly made our evenings more special and food was delicious compliments for chef. We loved this place and 100% recommended.

Koraki IS NOT a snack bar but a fantastic local restaurant with a very attentive and friendly staff and loads of local and renewed plates that are very affordability priced. They attract some very friendly expats & loyal guests with tons of useful tips and recommendations which makes the place greatest starting point to anyone who wish to explore southern part of Corfu. Highly recommended.
