Pretty old town ,but i prefer the "white" Greece, cities and Villas with white houses architecture .

The island is really a spectacular place, but as expected it became too expensive in 2022. Compared to 2021, the restaurants had shrunk the portions, increased prices and sadly, nobody is offering the traditional complimentary sweets or watermelon when you pay the bill. The people are still friendly and welcoming and the service is,at most times, great. But compared to Rhodes or Crete, Corfu is becoming a bit too expensive for a normal tourist.

It's the most beautiful island of Ionian Islands !!! Full of Green , Beautiful Nature , Amazing Old Village, Beautiful Old Town,so many Archaeological places , Wonderful Beaches , Real Good Food & Different tastes from other cities of Greece !!! Great seaside town, pretty closed up during the winter months but still very pretty and full of welcoming locals.

It’s small island but very cozy walking in the old town. At night, it’s full of live music, bar, people! Shopping here is cheaper than other Greek islands.

Beautiful island. Untouched beauty. A must see before its totally destroyed by developers. All that land growing olives and grapes will soon become a concrete jungle.

Spent a week aboard our friends boat, not for the first time and enjoyed time sailing northwards to Kalami, Kassiopi and across to the mainland! Very friendly locals and some great places to eat and swim!

Amazing town! Its walls, the “Mourayia”, are Venetian and with the fortresses they were to defend the town of Corfu against the Ottomans in 1716. Sea colours are wonderful and the centre is full of narrow streets, like in Venice, full of nice little souvenirs shops…

Absoluut fantastic , the water is amazing 🤩, and the mountains are beautiful with flowers 🌺, and restaurants everywhere with good food.

Simply heaven on earth! It is fully covered by olive trees and other trees that they touch the beach with crystal clear water. Food is classic greek and fresh. Enjoy every second as you will simply want to come back again.

I savoured delectable dishes like moussaka, pastitsada, and the island's signature sofrito. The fresh seafood offerings were also a highlight, and I couldn't resist trying the locally caught grilled octopus and succulent prawns. Corfu's beaches are a true treasure trove for sunseekers. From bustling resorts with water sports and beach bars to secluded coves offering peaceful seclusion, there is a beach to suit every preference. Paleokastritsa's crystal-clear waters and sandy stretches, along with Agios Gordios' stunning cliffs framing golden sands, were among my favourite spots to unwind and soak up the sun. The locals' warmth and hospitality added to the island's allure. Whether in a family-run taverna, a traditional kafenio, or while chatting with shopkeepers in the markets, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and open hearts. My only slight reservation in awarding a perfect rating is the peak season crowds that can sometimes diminish the tranquil atmosphere. However, venturing slightly off the beaten path or visiting during shoulder seasons can help mitigate this issue. In conclusion, Corfu is an idyllic Mediterranean gem that offers a harmonious blend of history, nature, and culture. Its breath-taking scenery, delectable cuisine, and friendly locals make it an exceptional destination for travellers seeking a perfect island escape.

Sted in zeiferos apartments they are very friendly, corfu town is great it's for of a more relaxing holiday than partying ,theres kavos for that but if a bit older corfu town is great and zelforios apartments in gouvia are great ,family owned run apartments.

Beautiful little church. Very many tourist as lots of busses are going there!

Beautiful monastery with a little gift / souvenir shop. The owner looks after the cats. There's also some ducks living at the building. Awesome place to spend some time and watch planes.

Lovely walk across the walkway to the monastery. Close to the airport of Corfu and worth a visit. Very picturesque. There's a cafe close by and plenty of parking if you're driving instead.

Very nice place, a white small monastery in a little island, really peaceful. You can learn more about the traditions and religious history of Corfu. To arrive there you can go walking, crossing the bridge that separates this little island form the main one, while watching the airplanes landing right above your head!

A must see in Corfu. The Monastery has an amazing view and lies close to the airport. The souvenir shop inside was really cheap (a lot cheaper than choose at the old town), and the man who worked there was very kind.

This is a beautiful place, not far from the city. You can reach it with a long walk or easily with the bus 2A that is very frequent. The beaches there are nice and there is a lovely hotel with a beach also for the customers. I think it is beautiful.

Beautiful area w a very good restaurant (a bit pricey) and u can rent a speed boat to.go.swomming in amazing waters just off the coast of Corfu.

The monastery is a historic landmark on Corfu and worth visiting. It's also a very popular place to come to watch the planes landing and taking off from the busy Corfu airport. There are a couple of cafes and restaurants you can access via the steps/trail on the cliff that offer nice views and some shade. For a few Euros you can take a small boat to nearby Mouse Island where you'll find a church. The number 6 bus will get you close and then it's just a short walk across the causeway

The Holy Monastery of Vlacherna was built in the 17th century. In 1799, it belonged to the Halikiopoulos-Mantzaros family and for years functioned as a nunnery until 1980. Very nice church with pedestrian bridge, connecting the island

As I wasn't able to get inside, 'cause I was super early, can't say much about the Monastery inside. Outside, though, it looked cute.

Wonderful place and a must stop if you are visiting Corfu. You can reach Kanoni by bus 2A that stops on top of the hill that has the best view of the monastery. A short walk of 4 minutes down the steps will take you directly to the monastery. Although this is a tourist attraction, be respectful since this is an active church.

An iconic monastery on an island that is joined by a smell concrete pathway. There are lots of chatter boats which can take you to Mouse Island which lies further into the sea. The Chapel is very tiny. The souvenir shop is more than twice the size! It is in a beautiful setting and if you are able to get there, it is a thing which is sweet to do. Don’t bother walking the causeway to the right of the church across to the other side. Nothing to see there.

Stunning little monastery..free entry...amazing scenery on small walk along sea to see it...do visit.. you will also see mouse island. Boats tours round island only 3 euro. Toilets available and some small cafe/bars...u will really enjoy it.

Small monastery, more of a gift shop, to be honest, takes up more space. It is located next to the airport and on a little island at the end of the jetty where the boats go to mouse island.

No words can describe how mush i adore this spot in Corfu… simplicity and peace..

Nice place: kept very clean b staff. Very good breakfast & great Heat/ac in each room. Only drawbacks we're: busy road in between halves of the hotel and flights from airport landing pattern are close by. So yo get aircraft noise. Easily mitigated if you close the windows and use a app like "white noise" on your phone.

Stayed for 2 nights. Nice view. Cozy place. Litle bit loud in the evening till 23:00h and morning from 6h when the planes lands. Cant hardly sleep. But the view when the planes land is amazing!

A lovely hotel with a pool. Great views of the ocean. Only reason I gave it one star was because I got kicked out after be mistaken for another guest (apparently) who had caused trouble. I also received homophobic abuse from the hotel owner over the phone

Rooms were okay, theres a pool and access to the ocean. Airplains 24/7 and pretty far to walk to next shop.

2022! Yes, finally it is open to the public and free of charge!!!! Magnificent and peaceful views of the old town, the old fortress, the port. It is like a game of thrones fortress. The only bad thing is that the upper level is not open to visitors. Enjoy it and don't leave any garbage. Check the pictures below! Since 2021 opened again its gates! If the weather is sunny get a bottle of water, you will need it! 2019! Beautiful from outside.. Unfortunately it is closed, I don't know for how long, so I couldn't appreciate its inside beauty.

The New Fortress of Corfu stands opposite the Old one on the other side of old town, which is spread between them. It was also built by the Venetians, but later, during the 17 and 18 c. The fortress looks impressive with very massive walls and fortifications and is free to visit without an entry fee. However, the working hours are very odd, as it is open only until 3PM.

The entrance is 5€ per person, and there are literally not so many places you could have a proper viewpoint there. Many gates were locked, and many passages were unable to visit. Not to mention that it is not possible to reach the top of the fortress. But for this money I guess it's nice to have a few photos and experience the interior.

Old Venetian Fortress, and just that. There is really not much to do or information to read. I guess there could be some more information on the fortress, like construction time, the links between greeks and venetians etc. The view of the city is really nice from up top and there are also some cool tunnels which act as natural air conditioning on a hot day. Take water with you!

views are stunning, would benefit from some information boards or a guide book so you can learn about its history and where to actually go. Seems alot of it is in accessible to the public. better off going to the old fort.

It's an amazing place with wonderful vistas in all directions looking over corfu town and surrounding harbour.

This was a must for us as we visited Corfu. A reasonable entry fee of €5 meant it was a bargain. The walk to the top isn't too difficult and there are lots of places to explore on your way up (or down). Once at the top the views are fantastic as you'd expect.

I could not find the entrance, although I was all the way around it. There is no sign, bo boot, no nothing that indicates it. The only thing close to an entrance seemed permanently closed. I don't know how you can enter or what the fee is. Otherwise seems nice.

Lovely viewpoint. You aren't able to appreciate the full scale of the fortress as the part you are able to walk round is rather small in comparison. Still worth the entry fee thou.

Beautiful views of Kerkyras old city from the top. Rich history. Take you back in time once inside the walls. A most see for anyone visiting Corfu. Fee should be more for the views you get.

Awesome place! It's a must if you visit Corfu. The entry is free and you have a great view of the town if you climb to the top. When is very warm outside, here you can find some shade so you can cool down. I totally recommend visiting this awesome place at least one time. Also great spot for taking pictures.

Beautiful church and incredibly peaceful. It is also possible to visit the Saint in his tomb and make an offering in his name. May the Almighty God bestow His infinite love and blessings upon orthodox Christian brothers and sisters in Corfu and around the world.

Temple of saint spyridon The inside of the temple makes you feel peace and calm every time i visit I just sit in a chair and think everything I have done the past days of makes you feel free can't wait to visit it the holy days of pascha and hear the beautiful psalms echoing the soul!

Note: this is the "new" in-town church, that has been moved between the two fortresses, so it can be better protected. Of course nowadays this shouldn't matter, but still, it's the second of its name. The inside is cool, the outside amazes with how many people actually visit it. You can also use the church as a guiding beacon as it is easily seen across town while you're exploring. It had some special meaning for me as it carries my grandfather's name. You can enter from both sides.

The beautiful cathedral dedicated to the patron of Corfu, Saint Spyridon, dates back to the 16th century. The iconic bell tower is the tallest in the Ionian islands. The interior is small but mystical and impressive. The ceiling looks amazing. The chamber featuring the tomb and relics of Saint Spyridon opens to visitors occasionally. Don’t miss it when in Corfu old town!

My partner and I were desperate to visit the Venetian Well while we were in Corfu for the day. Luckily the staff managed to fit us in despite us not having a reservation. Food was beautiful, great flavours and amazing variety. Complementary starter and desert which was a great touch and staff extremely friendly.

The setting of the restaurant was beautiful and the food was well made however I thought it was a bit pricey for what it offered. The worst part was the booking experience . The person who picked up the phone wouldn’t tell me what were the time slots that were available and instead I had to ask for each day separately until we found availability . I thought that was bizarre and definitely not very professional.

We had a such a great time at the Venetian Well. The service was spectacular, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was incredible. We were there for a wedding, and had the best time. Everything we ate was delicious. I would highly recommend checking his place out!

The Venetian Well is probably the best fine dining restaurant in Corfu. It could perfectly have a Michelin rating. The combination of flavours was surprising, perfectly cooked and creatively served. The staff was really friendly and the building is lovely. Only small detail is we had to wait outdoors for 45 mins even with a reservation - but the staff apologised, gave us a complimentary drink and the food made the wait completely worth it! Don’t miss it if you are visiting corfu and enjoy food or if you have something to celebrate!

Had the most wonderful birthday dinner here. Every single dish was stellar, fantastic wine pairings (with excellent somellier decriptions), and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Last but certainly not least, the patio is stunning and feels secluded despite being just a block from bustling store fronts. Great value for the quality - highly highly recommended.

Well, it was a bit disappointing. Having experienced fine dining I came to expect the same here after reading reviews and putting the price into the equation. Some oddities really struck me as I was not expecting such things. First, the inability to serve a 4 course meal for one person and a 6 course meal for the other seems just odd. It was explained that that would create gaps. I mean, of course. But if one of the person's is fine with that, why do they care? Secondly, a very limited window of only 2 hours feels as if you're eating with somebody watching the time constantly. Third, there are only 2 non alcoholic drink options. Water and Coke. That is just ridiculous. Fourth, my espresso was forgotten. The lack of information about point one and three would have played a role in our decision to come here. Without it, we were left to find out on site, without other options. The food itself was between okay and good but often times I was just wishing for something special on my taste buds. Our waiter was very friendly and charming. The only aspect of the experience worthy the price you pay. (somebody else forgot the espresso) 4 courses for 90 Euro, wine (125ml) for 8-12 Euro. I'm sorry to say, but I would not come back. In the end I was even happy, that I wasn't able to receive the 6 course menu (120 Euro).

The finest dining had in Corfu Town! The service and attention from all the serving team were impeccable. The food was out of this world. It’s worth having the taster menu. The sommelier is very helpful as to ideal wines! A beautiful and romantic place to dine but if on your own and want a treat - don’t miss this one!!

Great service, delicious food and beautiful location (albeit a little quiet with not many covers). The only criticism is that we were under the impression that an ‘A La Carte’ option was available as this is shown on the restaurant website, only to find that this was not the case on arrival and we therefore had to take the tasting menu which was 100 euros per person (which we were not expecting to spend!)

Worthy of a Michelin star! The food was outstanding. The Fish starter that l had was so delicate, the sauce sublime and beautiful to the eye. The sommelier’s pairing of the wine to our taste and choice of food was perfect. The desserts were a work of art - light and flavours so expertly balanced. Incredible experience which exceeded all my expectations! From the very first moment the hostess Λαμπροθέα made me feel at home, then a flock of extremely kind and helpful waiters and waitresses took very good care of me. The food was excellent, started with nice Gaspatcho- balanced taste and very pleasant sweetness, in the first sip the Greek herbs and olive oil unfolded their character and exploded in my mouth. Then an appetizer - tarama mousse and home made bread with προζύμι, served in its own iron pot, still warm from the oven, steaming and fragrant. The main dish was a veal tartar, beautifully prepared egg yolk, the best choice of a plate to be served and of course very well balanced taste with the notes of acidity and umami in the aftertaste. The sommelier kindly suggested the local rose wine from Τύρναβος to accompany the food. Finally the choice of dessert was the most complicated one(I could pick from pineapple with coconut cream, chocolate and pear mousse, merengue with yogurt and red fruits)but the semolina χαλβάς was irresistible and was served with cumcuat preserve and chocolate mousse and incredible lemon sorbet which gave the fresh finish of the dessert. Limoncello came very well along to finish the dinner. There was a complementary treat as well, mocha mousse with chocolate crumble, also a feast for the palate...Σας ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ! Υπέροχα!

This was easily the culinary highlight of our stay on Corfu. Right from the start the mixing of tests was amusing and surprising. The summer salad had so much ingredients yet each combination I tried made perfect sense and was delicious. The main course again had a mix of tastes that were perfectly combined. The deserts were the cherry on top, although the cherries were in the salad. It was food for the eye, mouth, and soul. Highly recommended restaurant!

A true Greek gem with well researched and perfectly presented dishes with definite Corfiot character. Catch of the day will not dissapoint and desserts are divine. The wine list is also as complete as it gets.

We had a wonderful time at this exceptional Greek restaurant. Don't come looking for the classics that you find in every other restaurant. The cook, Aristotelis Megoulas, likes the classic Greek ingredients, but reinvents them with some creative combinations including crunchy pastry with roasted eggplants, anchovies, capers, pine nuts, dill and spring onions in a fresh appetizer or lobster ravioli with Morelli mushrooms or a meringue with drunk peaches and bitter almond cream. The wine list is as impressive as the menu, with a good selection of (rare) local wines as well as good bottles from all over Greece. The service is also impeccable. You pay considerably more than you would pay in a family restaurant but experiencing the transformation of simple ingredients into transient works of art is worth it.

We hunted for good food in all of Corfu for five days and Pomo D'Oro offered the most delicious experience by far. I loved everything about our dinner and didn't want it to end. Every ingredient was fresh and tasty and every dish had some interesting and complementary flavor in it. After dessert, my biggest wish was just to start over ☺️ the staff offered fantastic service and were knowledgeable about obscure items in the menu, helping us decipher it. The place itself is cozy and quiet, off the main, busy streets. Pricey, indeed, but you get a LOT of pleasure for your money.

The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, the staff is polite and helpful. Prices are a bit higher compared to other restaurants in the area. I wasn't satisfied with the value for money; the taste I received didn't match what I paid for. I paid 144 euros for 2 beef, 1 salad, 1 bottle of inexpensive wine, octopus salad, 1 bottle of water, and bread. I went in knowing these prices, and I'm always willing to pay for good food, but it didn't meet my expectations compared to the prices charged."

Wow.. if you call yourself a foodie, then you must try this place. Tucked away in a small courtyard this is an easily missed gem. The food techniques are top drawer and prices are more reasonable than you'd expect.

Located down a small alley, it wasn’t a very easy spot. We stayed nearby and walked past it many times and it was always full of customers so we decided to try it on our last night. We were lucky to get a table and would definitely recommend booking in advance. The food was delicious but what really made this restaurant fantastic was the service we received. The server was very good at her job and anticipated all our needs and asked all the right questions to make sure we had a good time. The food was fresh and there were plenty of wine to choose from by the glass. We look forward to future visits already

We went here for dinner and it was amazing. From the start to the end, everything was perfect. The service was great, the food was tasty and the atmosphere really nice. We got the goat cheese salad which I definitely recommend, 10/10. I also got the tuna steak which was a bit over cooked but it was alright. I really liked this place so I came back to have again that wonderful salad. I recommend it also to my friends. If you are in Old town, you should definitely give it a try.

Interesting selection of Greek wine and nice amuse bouche, lovely starters - we had the feta and poached egg dishes - the swordfish entree was disappointing - overcooked and bland. Lemon and seafood risotto was good. Service great.

Amazing place! Not a tourist trap like many of the restaurants in Corfu town. We wanted to try most things on the menu so have to return. Very fresh and delicious!

The food is simply out of this world! Very imaginative, the ceviche is a great take on the Mexican dish while the grilled scallops in a bisque are absolutely divine! The service is friendly and the setting in the small street is really beautiful.

We had an amazing dining experience at this seafood restaurant! We tried the black ink risotto, the tuna dish, and a salad with feta, and all the dishes were absolutely delicious. If you like seafood this is definitely the restaurant to visit. Right in the centre of Corfu Town, hidden up a side street. Suggest you book as it's very popular and doesn't have many tables outside.

Best dinner we have had so far in Greece!! Super high quality, beautiful presentation, wonderful experience. Staff was so friendly, attentive and polite. A little bit more costly than standard fare but well well worth it. We got a small starter soup that was complimentary in addition to the three courses we ordered.

Amazing Greek Italian fusion in the center of Corfu, very attentive and friendly owner. We felt like we were at home, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Absolutely recommend Anthos! The food and presentation was incredible. The grilled tuna was out of this world and the grilled swordfish was great as well. The baked Corfu feta was also really good if you’re a fan of feta especially in combination with the pistachios and honey. Also recommend the ceviche, had great flavor and texture and looked beautiful as well! The service was also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was located in a cute little side street with a great calm local vibe, away from the hustle and bustle of the Main tourist areas (this we really enjoyed as well).

I can call this restaurant the best. I haven’t been everywhere and it’s also useless to compare with taverns where the food is simple and understandable. This is good cuisine, clean tablecloths and paper menus. Incredibly tasty tuna and swordfish. We spent 100€ for two people along with a bottle of white wine and a glass of prosecco. I had asked the chef to surprise me with some of his best dishes…. I am far from disappointed. The clams, the prawns in white wine sauce and the monkfish bourdeto with fava all cooked to perfection and delicious. Bravo to chef Nikos and his kitchen brigade, bravo to the patron and patroness for the cordial and professional service as always.

Wow! 10/10!! An unexpected pleasant surprise in Corfu town. We stumbled upon this place and felt very lucky. The service not only was fantastic but also the food. Beautiful presentation, care was taken to each dish. I have allergies including gluten free which they happily catered for and provided gluten free bread too. Thank you again!

Probably one of the best meals we had in our first days in Corfu town. Food was great, service was amazing and everything was nice. Main dishes was better than dessert.

The view is beautifull. We had an overall good experience, we had the charcuterie board which was 10/10 and the seafood platter which was quit disappointing, the squid was uneatable and the sardines were undercooked and probably not fresh. Our waiter was Renos who did an amazing job and made sure we had a good experience. We got a discount for the food which was very nice. We understand that mistakes can happen and would recommend this place. We will give them another change for sure.

This café/restaurant sits right on the edge of water, with many swimmers keep splashing the surrounding water. We went there for a drink, and we were very happy with the experience.

I had the chicken souvlaki (skewers) and haloumi sticks. AMAZING! The location is on a little rocky beach drop off, if u are seated outside with good weather you get to sip wine while watching the boats sail by the nearby islands and dip in the water between courses. Just gorgeous. The wine here is also very good, my friend bought two bottles of a locally sourced white wine. I had a lovely caipirinha. The food was just delicious and tasty. I would not only go back, but I would search a hotel close by just for the convenience 😂 loved it here.

In my opinion, this place is among most beautiful ones to dine in Corfu, especially during the sunset. It is excellently located, so you can enjoy your dinner directly by the sea in a calm environment.They offer a variety of meals and have excellent drinks as well. Though we did not experience the same kindness as we usually did when interacting with greek waiters/waitresses, this can be easily be overlooked as the service was fast and the prices are fair.

This is an amazing place for a Wedding. The manager Renos was great and very quick to respond. The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. The every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. Food was amazing, service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the view . Great choice 🎉

I’m a solo traveler that is looking for love and adventure in every way possible and taking in a beauty of this restaurant and it’s people left me feeling a bit sad because I am flying home today. Because I want to stay longer. And I found this beautiful restaurant on my last day. I loved the look of the food, the taste, and the people working there and of course lovely to meet Minella. One day I will be back and see you again soon.

Beautiful place right on the sea water. The little food we tasted was really good, but the prices for local standards are too high. For example 9 euros for retsina Malamatina, which costs about 1,5 in a supermarket, is far too much. Service friendly.

Relaxed views ans surroundings on the coast at Faliraki beach. Didn't eat here, but other people's food looked good. We just drank cocktails. The service was friendly and prompt, with little wait time for anything. The cocktails . . Best Mojito I have ever tasted, amazing and a Mai Tai, also very good, but the Mojito, wow.

The 2 of us shared a meat platter and the meats tasted well grilled and spiced. Service was friendly, but one of the waiters did forget our extra order and there weren’t many customers left by then. Beautiful view from the tables, and you can even pop into the water right after eating.

A place with a view. Great food, very nice staff. We did have to wait quite long for the food, however it was totally worth it! Great view onto the "old Fort". Also, bring your swimming gear, its great to take a swim next to the restaurant.

Delicious food in Kerkyra! I would recommend this place for sure for the tasty food, good service and nice atmosphere. We ordered the Meatballs with tomato and the sweet & sour chicken and it was very good😊

This was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our stay in Corfu. The food was nothing short of incredible. The service is great as well, high attention to detail. We sat in the outdoor area of the restaurant, which has an ok vibe, maybe the tables further away from the road are better. The interior is modern, and it has AC for hotter days. It's a bit on the pricier side, however, like I mentioned it is totally worth it. At the end you're offered a home-made digestive which was really tasty. If you're in town definitely give it a try. The grilled octopus is a must try.

A superb restaurant! I went for dinner on my own and was made welcome straight away! There is a frozen octopus option in the menu. Ask them for a fresh one, it’s amazing! It’s a busy restaurant so it’s best if you make a reservation. Special thanks to Elias who took care for my stay and was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations! Would definitely go back when in Corfu again!

How can a restaurant like this have 4.3 only? The food is amazing, portions just right. The photos are taken in haste as we were hungry. The staff is very friendly and attentive to details. If you are in Corfu, don't miss this place!

I went for lunch on a weekday, so it was very quiet and peaceful and we sat outside surrounded by lovely smelling jasmine. I got a salad and it was delicious, albeit on the slightly pricier side at about €10.

Hands down the best meal we had while in Corfu! My friends and I made a reservation for 19.00 on a Wednesday in August. Here's our experience. 1) Food: To feed five of us, we ended up ordering lots of small plates. We ordered the feta, tomatoes, eggplant dip, tsigareli, mushrooms with garlic, grilled meatballs, shrimps with garlic, and bread. Literally, everything was perfectly prepared and very tasty, especially the tomatoes, mushrooms, feta, and eggplant. The tomatoes came from the local farmers market and were the best I've ever had. For dessert, we got the chocolate souffle, cheesecake, and kumquat pie. Each was very good! 2) Drinks: We ordered a bottle of local Sauvignon Blanc and cold water. At the end of our meal, the server brought over dessert wine on the house. It was sweet and delicious! 3) Service: From start to finish, it was impeccable. Our server recommended the right dishes and checked in on us throughout. 4) Space: If you want AC, grab a table inside. If not, their outdoor patio is spacious and beautiful.

They have some of the tastiest and freshest food we’ve had in Corfu… and a beautiful garden/terrace… it’s not downtown but it’s worth going, especially for dinner when there’s lights and it’s cozy.

Must to visit if you want to try greek kitchen. Every dish, even appetizers full of taste and essence of ingrindience. You will enjoy 🤩🤩🤩 yummy yummy 👍

What a find. Absolutely a must for a meal out. Fresh salad and all ingredients for the main meal. Attentive staff with gentle music in the background. Off the beaten track from old corfu town with views of the old fortress. Beautiful.

The best Greek restaurant overall in Corfu. I loved everything about Avli, from the rustic and cosy atmosphere, to the warm and friendly staff. And the food, high quality, sourced from small organic producers and seafood so fresh it tastes as if it was caught the same day. We were fortunate to be served by Maykis, who made sure our visit was unforgettable. Avli represents what a Greek restaurant should be - People who love to cook and serve quality food, minimalist atmosphere and tradition. Strongly recommend !

Genuinely fantastic, friendly service with treat recommendations. Delicious food, and lovely setting. The meat tigania is highly recommended, and bonus points for the friendly cats too. Well worth the 15 minute stroll along the coast from the town.

We were 2 people and asked the waiter for recommendations. We ended up trying the organic tomatoes appetiser which was really great and full of taste+ sauces+ fresh baked bread. Then we got marinated octopus which was a nice surprise for me as a non-big fan of sea food. Then we had some fresh fish but it was tasteless if not for the sauce or salt/pepper -really overrated dish for 2 at 80€. Expensive and dull at taste. I liked the dessert though, the homemade liquor and the serving which was overall welcoming and okay. Friendly at first then the waiter got a little upset when we told him that we found the fish not so great ( it was boiled with potatoes on the side and sauce). I would recommend to try something you like and ate before, not something totally new, so you won’t have “surprises”.

The reviews are over exaggerating the restaurant… food was not bad but not the best really like the entree cheese paties and grilled aubergine.. the rest were just ok, would not recommend would not come back again. also waiters are not friendly.
