Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Nessun Dorma is a beautiful and romantic Italian restaurant with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The food here is local and fresh, and includes dishes like bruschetta and meat & cheese platters. In addition to wine, they also serve cocktails which make for a perfect ending to your trip to Manarola.
Take the pesto class!! So worth it! Simone the owner teaches the class and he's amazing! So personable and will tell you the story of how he started the restaurant. We went to the class on a Monday and there were 6 of us total, but we were a small class. To get to the restaurant you can go around underneath it where the viewpoint of Manarola is and then up some stairs and keep to the right. We were given an apron and the ingredients. Simone taught us all about them and the correct technique for making the best pesto. Our classmates had a glass of wine, and because we don't drink, we were made a special basil lemon sprite cocktail. Delicious! The class ended at noon and we then had lunch at the tables with the best view as the restaurant opened and other people came in. Everything was delicious and this class was a definite highlight of our trip to Italy.

If you're in Manarola, this place is a MUST!!! We went for their pesto class (which I can't recommend enough) and had SO MUCH FUN!! The view is unbeatable, and the staff is all very friendly. They have great drink and snack options. If you're planning to go for drinks and snacks, make sure to make a reservation or understand how their virtual queue works because it gets very busy. It's worth the hype!!
Erin Lewis — Google review
Hands down the best experience I have ever had. We did the Pesto Class! It was more than I could have ever hoped for. Well worth the money and the time. The food is amazing, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and the view was to die for. Do not wait book this today!
Nicole Shuler — Google review
Highly recommend the pesto experience. Beautiful and joyful atmosphere. Great service (a well choreographed modern pesto dance). Some learning, wine, food and storytelling. Delicious and good fun without be obnoxious…… oh and did I mention the view. Go for the view, stay for the food and drinks.

Our experience at Nessun Dorma was hands down one of our favorite parts of our trip to Italy. We stayed in Manarola for three nights, and we went to Nessun Dorma all three days we were there- that’s how great the view, food and staff were. Let’s start with the first thing you need to know: download the app. Yes, there is an app and it is vital you download it in order to not waste your day and to get in. There is no call ahead or reservation system it’s either download the app and see where you are in the queue waiting to get in or get a QR code from the restaurant. I recommend the app because it allows you to keep doing other things without just waiting out front. The towns are so close together you could be out on a hike or doing whatever and make it back when you see you’re closer to the being sat. But I digress. The views from here are breathtaking and will likely be some of your prized photos from your trip to take back home to show friends and family. The photos you get during “the Golden Hour” really showcase how beautiful Manarola is, but it’s really beautiful any time of day. The environment here can’t be beat either. The staff works incredibly hard and does whatever they can to make you feel at home. The menu is mainly drinks and other light bites such as bruschetta. While it’s not your typical dinner food, it’s filling and delicious enough that you won’t miss anything while you’re enjoying the music, view and experience. We also took the pesto making class with Simone and it was an absolute blast. You go in before the restaurant opens and learn about and make pesto (which this area is known for!) all while being on a seaside cliff in Italy- how is this real life? I could go on and on, but if you’re going, just move this to the top of your list- you won’t be disappointed.
Blair Burch — Google review
Amazing food! We went on a recommendation and we are very glad we did. The virtual queue was very easy to navigate in the app. The location is stunning and again the food was really good. We got several dishes and just shared them all together. I highly recommend.
Tony Culletto — Google review
Well beyond expectations: 1. menu is quite basic, dishes are mechanically prepared with no Italian flair - prosciutto slices are thick, bread for bruschetta is rather old and chewy; mozzarella is moderate; cocktails are just ok; 2. service is not attentive at all - I had to change a table from bigger one to a smaller one, and then when I was away for a few mins to take photos, my small table was already assigned to a couple who just entered 🫣 I asked for a cutlery twice - with no reaction; 3. loud italian music is coming from speakers everywhere, no atmosphere at all to enjoy the view; 4. booking application is a good idea but one never knows how much time is left before they will give you a table - notifications are only about a number of tables in front of you; 5. the whole dining experience was just a disappointment - I got the feeling that noone cares for the guests as due to the view Nessun Dorma will continue to be the most instagramable restaurant in Cinque Terre.
Aneta — Google review
A wonderful place in a wonderful city on a wonderful coast )) I highly recommend visiting this place. Great drinks, very fast service and of course an amazing view! One thing, to get there you need to make a reservation in the program of the same name, which can be downloaded.
Vitaliy Chumakov — Google review
Yes, of course, this place is insanely advertised. Yes, if you come with no appointment you will have to wait more than two hours. Download the application as indicated everywhere, stay in line calmly walking around the Manarola. This place is definitely worth it. The view pays for everything. Plus very, very fast service. Naturally, it is made at the expense of the fact that you cannot choose from a huge menu. You just choose something from 4 ready-made menus, but serving fast, for 7-10 food and drinks are already on the table. gorgeous Aperol Spritz! Advise: you may take one more with you)
Katerina Ch — Google review
Absolutely breathtaking view of the coast of Manarola with great food. I'd definitely recommend going here at sunset to enjoy a nice dinner. The meal we had was amazing and the service was very quick despite the restaurant being packed with people. I'd definitely come back here again!
Laura Benvenisti — Google review
We loved getting wine and an appetizer here!! The views are amazing and the service was quick. 18 euro for two wines, 2 meats, bread, and cheese! Would definitely recommend
Danielle Hau — Google review
Really nice views... however you can also get the same view walking up the hill. The food was amazing though... so flavourful and delicious. Service was fast. You should download the app to get in line the day you want to go to ensure a spot! Otherwise, you can grab a number to wait in line at the entrance. Prices were also inexpensive, which was surprising for the view.
Claire T — Google review
Delicious and fresh dishes! Make sure to enjoy with a cold drink. Great views as well. Remember to download the app beforehand to ensure you get a seat during the busy summer period.
Enisa Tran — Google review
Best Bruschetta I had ever. It was exceptional. With that view, it was worth the price. Book in advance else you are unlikely to get a table. We didn't book in advance so we had to opt for takeaway. Service was quick. I was disappointed after knowing that they also charged me table charge/service charge despite my order being a take-out. Surely felt like cheated.
Dhruv Bhatt — Google review
Highly recommend the pesto class if you can get a spot. It was one of the highlights of our trip. 10/10 would do the class again because it was so fun and we enjoyed the food so much!

I was staying in Riomaggiore and decided to explore nearby. Manarola is beautiful and whilst walking to see the view of the town I noticed a small queue forming up above. So being the nosey girl I am I went and looked. I found the most amazing place!! The food is OUTSTANDING!! The service is OUTSTANDING!! I was served by the lovely Ila, had a lovely chat with her about my visit and she was the cherry on the top of my visit!! If I'm ever in the area I will be visiting again, purely for the food and how amazing this place is!! The view's not too shabby either!! One of the highlights of my travels round Italy.
Emma Rieley — Google review
The Pesto experience was amazing!! Simone is a phenomenal host, storyteller and trainer :) We made delicious pesto using the freshest ingredients and our hard work and energy. His enthusiasm for ensuring a wonderful experience was palpable. His whole team worked hard to ensure the best memories. The experience comes with lunch (meats, breads, cheeses, tomatoes) and wine. And the view!! The best of Manarola!
Julie Horne — Google review
This place doesn’t really need any more excellent Google reviews but yet here I am because they fully deserve it! So many places with a view like this rely on the view alone and put no effort or care into their food or service. Nessun Dorma is the exception. From the host at the main entrance, to every single member of wait staff, the service was 10/10! All so friendly, cheerful, welcoming and efficient. Food was delicious. The Tricolore Bruschetta was divine and three pieces were large and very filling topped with really fresh ingredients. Lots for one person! Aperol Spritz was perfect. Views are incredible, you will know that before visiting, but it’s the staff and standard of food that will make you want to return again and again. I also found the pricing excellent considering the location. Bravo Nessun Dorma! I look forward to your Pesto Experience Class later in the week.
Kate Brennan — Google review
We had a pesto making class, it was fun. Came with wine and an assortment of an Italian board Great story with this place! The server's very nice and appreciative The best views in town, besides our hotel room..

Great view and good quality food. If the season is low, it’s not necessary to book in advance via this app, but if you do you guarantee you get seated with a view. A

The restaurant Rio Bistrot is a great place to enjoy a meal in the beautiful town of Riomaggiore. The food is delicious, and the staff are attentive and polite. They make sure that you have everything that you need during your meal, and they will even take the time to explain the menu to you if you don't know what something is.
This place exceeded all expectations! My friend and I did the tasting menu for dinner. The calamari was my favorite but each course was fantastic!! literally wanted to lick each plate! The wine list was wonderful too. I had the absolute best Chianti that I’ve ever tasted and I really appreciate how they had the proper glassware for it! At the end of the meal I was shocked by how low cost it all was. I would have paid double. The entire staff was very nice and professional. Great service, great environment, and great value. I spent 9 days in Italy traveling around and this was by far my favorite meal out of all of them. Again very impressed by them especially working in what I consider a small space. Awesome experience. Thank you I won’t forget it!

Besides having a Michelin guide rating, I would not recommend going here. We were curious and wanted to convinces ourselves that, besides reading reviews that stated that this place was overrated,(which in the end resulted to be true) this place was worth eating at. Slow service (which we usually don’t mind) but eating at completely at different time slots than my partner - it was nothing but disappointing. Topically touristic.
Talea Hennings-Huep — Google review
Loved it. Went for the Mrs birthday. We had the tasting menu and every course was amazing. Paired with local wine we had a great evening. The staff is very attentive and prepared a dish with fennel since we cannot have eggplant. Doggos are welcome too, but no water drinking bowl is available.
Dennis Bauszus — Google review
Perfect for a romantic dinner date! Our hotel helped us with reservations for the terrace. There are only two dinner services and we saw many tourist be denied because of the full reservations. The restaurant sits right outside of the water edge/marina. The atmosphere is romantic, relaxing and yet still exciting as you see all of the tourist pass by. We had the tasting menu and shared a bottle of wine. The staff were all very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and provided a great variety. We are very glad to have tried this lovely location!

This was the best meal either my husband or I have ever eaten, and we are definitive foodies! We opted for the tasting menu. Everything was fresh, inventive, and so, so delicious. The pricing feels very reasonable for the quality, and the staff is friendly with a good sense of humor. The restaurant is pretty tiny but so charming and you can’t beat the view of the Riomaggiore harbor right outside. For sure, a reservation is a good plan so you don’t miss out on this amazing place!
Kisa Owens — Google review
Food, service and location all spectacular! Made the reservation in person in the afternoon and arrived a welcome that made is feel like we were old friends. Shared the calamari starter, then scampi and sea bass and shared ‘cheesecake’ dessert. All beautifully presented and delicious. Servers help and attentive. Highly recommend.

The food is great, I only wish that the waiter took time to explain the menu instead of rushing us
elias shakour — Google review
Probably the best food we had in all of Italy - everything is fresh, the waiters personable and the chef instantly recognizable for his skills. It was a perfect 5 course meal!

Absolute gem in Cinqueterra. The local wine was incredible with the seafood, and I had the best white fish (sea bass) I have ever had- it came with an amazing light cheese sauce underneath. The duck appetizer was delicious, every flavor went so well together. The deserts were elegant and delicious. Service was great. Some of the best bread we had in Italy too
Alexander Brockhoff — Google review
This was the best restaurant I had in Italy. The raw seafood was so incredibly fresh. It reminded me of Japan! The service was also amazing! Eduardo and Giovanni were the absolute sweetest! I wish I could come back a second time but we discovered this place at the end of my trip :( you will not regret going here!

Great spot for a nice dinner, service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our waiter chose wine and food for us based on what we told him and nailed all of it. The chef takes pride in food and presentation. They managed to sneak us in last minute and lucky they did. Highly recommend if you are staying in Riomaggiore
Joel O'Brien — Google review
Took the tasting menu, everything was really good. Seafood was fresh, cooked to perfection and really well accompanied. Service was efficient and friendly, never felt rushed but never waited too much. Wine recommendation was good. Overall: a bit pricey but well worth it.
Samuel Charest — Google review
We had our first meal in Cinque Terre here and it was excellent. We chose the Chef’s degustation menu and the Sommelier chose a great bottle of red wine to pair with the meal. All were seafood courses, all local produce and all delicious. On serving, our excellent waiter described the dish, the ingredients and took time to celebrate the course. He also was very personable and enhanced the dining experience with his wit and genuine celebration of the food. It was a wonderful experience and over the many course we went on a Riomaggiore food journey. Highly recommend if you are looking for a very special meal while in Riomaggiore.
Michelle favotto — Google review
Awful service! Dirt in our water glass, which the server apologized for and brought a new glass. Then, there was dirt in the wine glass - to which our server said - ‘it’s nothing’ even after we showed him the dirt speck. Then he poured the SAME DIRT IN WINE into a different glass. The WORST part was when our duck appetizer arrived it came with PLASTIC (a plastic pull tab from a package/container) and the restaurant’s response was to BLAME THE CUSTOMER. We asked to see the manager and they sent out a server/hostess who first apologized for the plastic in our food, then informed us that the dirt sometimes ‘drops from the ceiling into the glasses’ and asked what they could do to make us happy. When we replied that we would like the rest of our meal dirt and plastic free, the server informed us that they CANNOT do anything to make us happy. We asked to speak with the manager again and the server informed us that the manager was ‘too busy working on the others’ food’. While the duck speck was good until we found PLASTIC IN IT, the bread was cold and stale. We decided to leave and eat street food to be happier than eating the contaminated food Rio Bistrot served without care or repair. So disappointing - especially after booking our reservation months in advance through a local resident and eagerly anticipating a great experience!!!! We wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else expecting a lovely meal at this highly recommended restaurant.
Stephanie Jacobs — Google review
My wife and I both had the tasting menu of the night and had a fantastic meal. We each receive three appetizers and then a 1st and 2nd, and lastly dessert. We were a bit too excited to devour some of the dishes and couldn’t get a photo of each of them. The service was phenomenal and all of the waiting staff took great care of us and made us feel welcome.
John Bellas — Google review
Stayed just across the street and our host recommended. This place did not disappoint. It’s a fancier place with smaller portions but I felt the food was very very good and service was above and beyond in terms of welcoming and being friendly. Didn’t feel stuffy / too pretentious. Was lovely overall. A woman when we were there had a slight medical event as well and the staff handled it smoothly for everyone. Was impressed and would go back. Highlight for me was the Bransieno (spelling?) and dessert. Recommend the tasting menu.
Ben Hacker — Google review
I have no idea how this place has such a high rating. We saw the chef cook us Barilla boxed pasta which is insane for €20. Sauces were bland too. I recommend to avoid this place.
Josh Brenner — Google review
This is high quality restaurant, not your typical family owned cheap place. Everthing is fancy and the taste is second to none. It is a local cooking but high end. And we loved it!!!
itsick azran — Google review
I really wanted to love this restaurant… but compared to other Michelin plate restaurants, this is a massive let down. I don’t believe it should have Michelin status unfortunately. The service was standard, perhaps worse than standard. We waited about 45 minutes to receive the wine we had ordered. The food was okay, nothing amazing, or even good. They didn’t even ask how we would like to have our beef cooked. Disappointing to say the least. However, the lady that worked there was very friendly- probably the best part of the dinner…
Laura Jessica Soal — Google review
We had an incredible experience here. The food was unique and everything we had was exceptionally delicious. We had a glass of the local the calamari, beef dish, lasagna, a dessert that looks like a cappuccino, and a fluffy amazing moose followed by the dessert wine. We feel grateful for our experience here as it was quite special. Wonderful food, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a lovely atmosphere tucked in the hillside of Cinque Terre.
Cassandra Fischer — Google review
Had just a delightful meal here - tried the smoke duck appetizer, and had the beef and fish and they were all delicious with exquisite flavours. Waitress recommended a vanilla based dessert and it was fantastic.
Kelvin Kao — Google review
Had an exceptional dinner at Rio Bistro. Both, their food and service were excellent! We were celebrating my mom's 60th birthday and staff, especially Eduardo, made us feel so special! Definitely worth the hype!!!
Nayun Ka — Google review
Not sure why this place isn’t 5 stars, full of perfect reviews. My father and I stumbled across this place when it was raining in Riomaggiore. We ended up getting their “special” which is worth the experience and money. The owner Manuel is the real deal and we really enjoyed Eduardo and Ella as well. We went back a second time for the “special” (different dishes as they’re made to order daily depending on the catch/fish availability) before we left because it’s just that good!!!!
Jessica — Google review
Overrated and over priced restaurant. The reviews are misleading . Locals suggested this restaurant and we were excited to check it out . Only to be disappointed by the average quality of food and superficial service. We tried the tasting menu and nothing was great . The fish pasta was terrible , fishy and overpowering . We ordered a separate dessert to try the cheese cake and they served whipped cream with nuts instead. Overall so disappointing after making reservations upfront. Save your money and time by avoiding this place . Many cute restaurants in center area that are much better .
Radhika Gnanaprakash — Google review
This restaurant is the best we've eaten at in Italy. The food was perfectly cooked and every dish was flavorful and unique. The waiter, Eduardo, was very helpful and friendly. Worth every penny. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Amazing experience! Food was delicious and fresh from the boat. Service was outstanding, super professional and Eduardo gives it a personal touch treating every customer with special care. I would come back for the food and Eduardo.

Best restaurant we have been over the past 3 days. The tasting menu is perfectly aligned and the service is close to you. This is definitely one of my highlight in the cinque terre

Amazing food and recommendations with the menu. Top-notch storytelling from the king of the restaurant himself: Eduardo. Thank you for being our host and serving us the best food in town!

Rio Bistrot in Riomaggiore, Italy, exceeded all expectations with their incredible Chef's Choice dinner option. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, with flowers to celebrate International Women's Day, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Our server, Eduardo, was a true gem, elevating our dining experience with his impeccable wine pairing recommendations. His attention to detail and genuine care made us feel like honored guests throughout the meal. What truly made Rio Bistrot stand out was not just the exquisite food, but the personalized touch that Eduardo added to our experience. His remarkable memory was evident when we bumped into him the next day at a local cafe, where he greeted us by name, further highlighting the exceptional service we received. Rio Bistrot is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Riomaggiore, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Cinque Terre.

Seafood restaurant
Ristorante La Posada is a charming spot that specializes in traditional Ligurian cuisine, offering a variety of delectable dishes such as octopus salad and seafood soup. The restaurant boasts a scenic terrace, rooftop bar, and outdoor seating for guests to enjoy. Visitors rave about the melt-in-your-mouth braised beef and pasta with wild boar at this seafood-centric gem in Cinque Terre.
The food here was good. I got the seafood pasta and my partner got the Roma salad (shrimp, smoked salmon, avocado). Both were tasty. The view is really nice. It looks over the Ligurian Sea and the Corniglia train station. The only downside is there were lots of flies. But they weren’t that bad.
Matt Stein — Google review
Located right a top the stairway of the train station, it's a convenient spot to grab a bite and a drink while you wait for the train. The food was okay. We ordered the grilled seafood plate and pesto pasta. The seafood was a little bit under-seasoned for my preference, but overall the meal was pleasant. The view on the terrace is pretty and the olive trees are a nice touch.
Ginny Tan — Google review
Incredible view from a patio of olive trees and very good food (our favorite in Corniglia after staying two days). Two things to consider: The portions were slightly larger than we've gotten used to in Italy and we bought too much, and the service was not very fast -- this is not a place to eat if you're in a rush.
Sam Faller — Google review
Beautiful view, tasty food, great wine, and good service! We can recommend the cod fritters, gnocchi, and tuna. The fritters came with a red onion marmalade that was delicious. The gnocchi with cod had a lot of lemon. The tuna was encrusted with pistachio and came with a tasty guacamole. Nice wine list. A little expensive but the view and quality of food justify it.
brian bird — Google review
Stopped there for lunch after climbing those stairs and we were lucky enough to have space on the terrace overlooking the bay. Our waiter was nice and funny although sometimes refusing people who just wanted drinks, and sometimes not 🤔Food was decent without being spectacular but overall, mainly because of the great location, we had a great lunch. Tiramisu was BIG.
Alexandre Roty — Google review
Good views of the sea, very mediocre food, let down by bad service. After a hike up the stairs, we were greeted by a gentleman waiter who confirmed our booking and showed us to our seats. As we were just getting settled, a lady waitress came at us seemingly with a vengeance. She barked at us for not being shown to our seats, and told us to ask her before being seated. Flabbergasted, we looked blankly at the male waitress who showed us in and he quickly explained to her colleague that we were showed in. However, the damage was done. Honestly, it seemed downright racist, as she didn’t accost other couples sitting down at the same spot. The waitress offered no apologies, and the male waiter offered us an extra cup of tea for the embarrassment. Food: if you like bread with the texture of rocks, you’re in the right place. Taking a bite of the bread will cost you a trip to the dentist. Otherwise, pesto and seafood pasta we got were mediocre. Fried seafood was akin to those you can get at other restaurants nearby Atmosphere: nothing bad to say here, we were seated at the terrace and the sun set as we dined - with a grumble

This was one of the best meals we ever had in a restaurant ever ! Will definitely come back again ! We started with the chef special appetizer - an abundant plate of muscles, Accompanied by the Cinque terre red wine bottle (exquisite!). Followed by two main dishes - grilled seafood + pasta seafood they were both beyond our expectations ! We were very tempted about having dessert, but, decided that we really want ice cream in one of the extremely good glitteria - Alberto. (We did not regret the decision ;) ) After sitting down we saw the Google map reviews and were a bit worried. but ! We have to say service was excellent recommendation by the waitresses were exquisite and we have to reate this establishment 5+++ out of 5 ! Total price 108 Euro. Extremely recommended. Will come again ! 😋😋🤤😋😋

You must hike in to this place!! Corniglia is best experienced by hiking into town from Vernazza, otherwise you are just hiking up into town. The views are beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service was on point. Make sure you try the Tuna, it was delicious! Having a spritz with seafood pasta after a day of hiking was so refreshing. This place was very pricey, but well worth it. Also, we showed up around 4:30 and walked right in with no wait. This scratched the itch we were looking for at Nessun Dorma in Manarola, but we didn’t make it to. So happy for this beautiful spot.

We truly had such an amazing experience here, we went twice :) This was for sure our favorite restaurant during our Cinque terre trip. The food is so tasteful, you can really notice the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. I’m sensitive to gluten, but I had to try one of their pasta dishes and I actually felt good afterwards :) I for sure recommend the pasta with pistachio cream and red shrimps (you can always ask for more Parmesan if you’re a fan ;) ) and the sea bream with potatoes, tomatoes and olives (they already get rid of almost all the bones for you). And the tiramisu and red house wine, so delicious! Also the service is great, the waiters (and managers as well) are super friendly and knowledgeable, they work so hard, and even when it’s busy they still help you very fast in my opinion. And last but not least, the atmosphere is wonderful with a beautiful view. Highly highly recommend this place to everybody visiting Corniglia!

Lovely cozy restaurant with an amazing view. The food is delicious. The service is good. They even arranged some flowers on our table for our anniversary when requested. The music was good, didn't know half the time what they were playing. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Excellent spot for quality food with a lovely view under the shade. Friendly service from people who are happy to serve tourists passing through. All of this seems to be otherwise hard to come by along Cinque Terre! Sure you pay a bit more, but you’re also in paradise. Just go and enjoy.

Looking for a beautiful place to eat in Riomaggiore? Then head to Fuori Rotta! This casual trattoria has stunning views of the sea, and their menu features some delicious classics like rabbit stew. You won't be disappointed whether you're looking for a quick bite or an intimate dinner.
Beautiful view, elevated food (best beef cheek I’ve ever had with just the right amount of truffle taste, and friends raving about the pumpkin pasta with licorice), self-effacing host/owner who makes an effort to speak English with patience and humor, and recommends excellent local wine. Most of all grateful that they are open in February on a Tuesday. Yes, size is not big but right in my opinion. Reserve ahead just to be sure (closed Wednesdays):-)

We loved the restaurant and the venue itself, the service was great. But the portion sizes did not match the price, we left hungry after a 2 course meal. Wouldn’t recommend if you are hungry.

We had a lovely night at Fuori Rotta. The chefs 5 courses menu was great. The chef knows how to combine the typical Italian cuisine and local ingredients to a harmonic menu that is rich in flavours and shines in simplicity. The sommelier is experienced and adviced us perfectly. He recommended a local wine, which was worth it all. Thank you a lot for a perfect evening. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Spectacular restaurant, the tasting menu was unreal. Fresh shrimps (melt in your mouth kinda feeling), the filled crab was mind blowing, pasta cooked perfectly al dente, wonderful fish and dessert just speechless…Try to find a table outside to get the amazing view.

It’s a fine dining restaurant with a great view. The food was great, my pasta was cooked to perfection, pesto with squid. The dessert was the highlight for me, cocoa tart, the flavour combination was amazing. In the evening it can be cold and windy, so make sure to be dressed accordingly if you have an outside table. Reservation is a must.

Great prompt friendly service in a beautiful spot, lots of stairs on the way up! Must book, multiple groups turned away. Enjoyed especially the tuna starter and asparagus pasta, all portions were small but as part of the tasting menu were fine. Waitress was lovely and had local wine suggestions which we loved.

Portions were small , as A fine dining restaurant I am used to have small portions but tasty food, the tuna was a veryyyy small portion , but this wasn’t all … I stand up from the table when I arrived and requested the waiter a small desert to be brought as soon as we finish eating as it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted to surprise him … the desert never came. I wasn’t expecting something free I told them I would pay for it , but they just forgot . They view is great tho!

Amazing ocean/village view, friendly staff, unbelievably tasty food. The octopus salad was a standout. I've never had octopus cooked so well. Can get pretty pricey and on the side of smaller portions but when it tastes that good, it's hard to complain.

Racist Waiter?! We walked from the train station all the way to this restaurant hoping to get the sea view shown in the reviews. However, the view is disappointing because you cannot see the sunset. But that’s not the worst part. While browsing the menu, a tall Caucasian waiter (brunette, short hair) rudely snatched the menu from our hand, turned away, and asked us to refer to the glass display. We just arrived at the restaurant, and his rude, abrasive behaviour towards us is likely due to us not being Caucasians? His behaviour toward us was so upsetting that we walked away immediately. I advise all non-Caucasians to AVOID this place!

Da Aristide is a contemporary all-day restaurant in Cinque Terre with a focus on seafood. It has a nice ambiance with nautical accents and outdoor tables, although some find the lighting too bright for an evening setting. The restaurant is slightly hidden from the main street, giving it an off-the-beaten-path feel. It offers heaped plates of stuffed anchovies, lemon-doused grilled octopus, fish ravioli, and homemade pappardelle with mussels and eggplant.
This review is for the outdoor seating dinner service. Service was very responsive, and the black ink pastas were lovely. Easily a great place for dinner. Was told by the locals they have been here for generations. I can’t say much about desserts because my group was split down the middle, I think it’s a matter of personal preference.

This restaurant had the best presentation of food that we saw in Italy. Beautifully decorated and unique. The squid ink pasta and ravioli were great. I had the shrimp and tuna tatare. It was my first time having it and it was special. We sat in the outdoor area which was a bit tighter so we were close to two other parties, but it ended okay because we had good conversations with them throughout the night. I don't have any pictures of the outdoor area but I loved the layout and feel of it.

We ate dinner on our last night here and the fish was exceptional! Tuna & Sea Bass were both cooked perfectly, and the house white wine was as a perfect pairing. Service & care by the staff was wonderful, the price might look a bit high, but the food is well worth the cost.

Beautiful experience with my children! We’ve ordered seafood spaghetti and many starters with octopus and shrimp tartare which were AMAZING. Desserts were delightful from cheesecake and Re di Sicilia with pistachio. Everything was delicious and the staff was really caring the whole dinner. It was the third time here both lunch and dinner, super recommended💪

We came here 4 times, 2 times for dinner and 2 times for breakfast. Never disappointed, really great food, fresh, staff is very friendly. The pistachio brioche for the morning is incredible! Their evening menu is just great.

We snuck in for a quick lunch right before closing. It was off season and they said they kitchen would not reopen they Sunday evening. The pasta with pesto was fine but the pasta with fish was a bit off. Decent local white wine. The staff was not all that friendly and when I drank part of the aluminum wine bottle label that made it into my glass they were not apologetic or concerned… oh well.

Great location, delicious pastries, a perfect doppio espresso, and just the best people watching if you're sitting outside. It gets crowded here quickly, so when you get off the train, walk straight here to fuel up. You can really feel the vibe of the town spending some time here amongst the locals.

I went here to celebrate my birthday with 3 friends, and the service was excellent despite the terrace being packed. The food is spot on from the prawn tartare through the tuna fillet to the forest berries cheesecake. The best spot in Manarola for fresh and tasty seafood sourced locally.

Great service and food! Pesto was fantastic and tasted very fresh and authentic, highly recommend. However was certainly a bit pricey for such a small portion leaving much to be desired. Still would consider checking out foot lunch off in the area!

Really enjoyed our dinner here! We sat at the outside pavilion, very beautiful and quite (9pm reservation). The waiters were both very nice and efficient. Andreas and I didn’t catch the others name, but both were very hard working and all I kept thinking was how much of a killing they would make in the US. As a chef myself, I see the pure hospitality in both of them. The food was really outstanding. Both of our homemade pasta dishes were out of this world, and the tuna tartare was so flavorful, I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. Check this place out while you are here, you won’t be disappointed!

Andréa was our server at Da Artistide, and he delivered the best meal of our entire ten day trip to Italy! We got started with two glasses of chianti, and in the meantime, Andréa recommended each and every course we ordered from the antipasti and primi piatti to secondi and dessert. Every single recommendation was excellent. My wife and I split the antipasti, burrata pomodorani e pesto ligure (burrata cheese, tomatoes and pesto), and we also split the primi piatti of taglioni neri tonno (black pasta, burrata cream, and tuna tartare). For secondi, I ordered filetto verdure (sesame coated grilled tuna with caramelized red onion) and she ordered grilled seabream with vegetables and a green pea puree. We couldn't put our forks down! Since the evening was so magical, we decided to get desert as well, and the fig cheese cake was a dream. We finished the meal with some decaf espresso when our server surprised us with a lemoncello with a single cube of ice. All of this for under €100!!! The food was to-die-for and the service was the best we've had in Italy. Bon Appetito! A special thanks goes to Andréa for his professional but approachable manner, and his beautiful recommendations. I urge you in the strongest terms to try this place!

My husband and I stopped by this place after our sunset boat excursion. Upon arrival, it was after 9:30 and the waiter let us know that the kitchen closed at 10:00 so we ordered the trial of appetizers. We receives anchovies, stuffed mussels, a tuna crostini dish, a lightly fried fish, a langoustine and shrimp with what seemed to be caramelized onions. I wish I had the menu to refer to so items were correct but it's a bit tough to find online! With that being said, the food was DELICIOUS. So fresh and flavourful. It was the perfect snack before heading up to our Airbnb at the top of the town's hill. Definitely give it a visit - my only reason for giving atmosphere a 4 is it is rather cramped inside the outdoor pavilion and we went during a heat wave so it was extremely hot. We were there less than thirty minutes as we were near closing time so we could handle it! If you overheat easily maybe try a meal on their patio or inside the restaurant. Overall, a spot that shouldn't be missed :)

Everything was top quality. From the lucky walk-in at the opening at 7pm to the last bite of the Panna cotta, service, food and ambiance were outstanding. It sits on the main plaza with all sides open, creating an fabulous atmosphere. What we had is what we can wholeheartedly recommend (although we have no doubt all else is if the same high quality): Burrata with pesto and tomatoes, then sesame coated grilled tuna with caramelized red onions, black taglioni with Buffalo cream and tuna tartare. The desserts were tiramisu and Panna cotta. The house wine is great too. Price value is excellent here. An absolut recommendation!
